- 0:00Speaker 1: Set up said on the iHeartRadio app to woor to
- 0:03Speaker 1: hear Mark live.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him any time.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on WOOR. Well, I'm looking
- 0:15Speaker 1: at the calls coming in there from all over the country,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and I can tell they're all laughing at us everywhere.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Some of them are people that got out of New York,
- 0:22Speaker 1: some of them are people that never come to there.
- 0:24Speaker 1: They're all laughing at us for the mess we got
- 0:26Speaker 1: ourselves into. Let's go to Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart,
- 0:30Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Hey, Mark? Are you you know?
- 0:33Speaker 2: In reference to Curtis, you know, I ran for sheriff
- 0:36Speaker 2: of my county. I did a radio newspaper, many interviews,
- 0:41Speaker 2: and the people have saw it said that I just
- 0:43Speaker 2: blew everybody out of the water. I would be there
- 0:46Speaker 2: for hours and hours answering any question effectively. And I
- 0:50Speaker 2: only got twenty percent of the vote.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that was it.
- 0:53Speaker 2: And people said I was by far the best candidates.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Well it was that they might just be saying that,
- 1:00Speaker 1: I mean, you're pretty good on the radio. What they
- 1:01Speaker 1: might just be saying.
- 1:02Speaker 2: That, But you know, and that's that's the problem. Very
- 1:07Speaker 2: often the best candidate does not win. They don't even know.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know, that's a very good point. That's
- 1:11Speaker 1: happened many, many times, especially in the primary. That happens,
- 1:14Speaker 1: absolutely right, Stuart, thanks for calling. Yeah, you gotta remember,
- 1:18Speaker 1: you know, it's like a lot of these people do
- 1:22Speaker 1: like a fake radio show. You know, they pay for
- 1:24Speaker 1: their own radio show, podcast, they write their own book,
- 1:27Speaker 1: they pay for it. And then whenever they run into people,
- 1:30Speaker 1: do you hear it?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Do you hear it?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Oh it's great, great, it's great.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Great.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It doesn't mean it's good. You know, they're not going
- 1:35Speaker 1: to say, yeah, it's bad. Oh god, you sound like
- 1:37Speaker 1: an amateur. Sounds terrible. So people are always going to say.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I could say to people, hey did you hear my
- 1:44Speaker 1: show today? Oh yeah, yeah, great, great, they didn't even
- 1:46Speaker 1: hear it. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how
- 1:49Speaker 1: you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike, you know.
- 1:53Speaker 3: The New York mayoral race further illustrates how much more
- 1:58Speaker 3: depth of Democrats are campaigning and winning overall than the Republicans.
- 2:03Speaker 3: They know how to drag that guy across the finish line.
- 2:06Speaker 3: They don't. They put all their other stuff aside, and
- 2:10Speaker 3: they say this is our guy, good, better and different,
- 2:13Speaker 3: and we're gonna get them over the over the you
- 2:15Speaker 3: know the finish line. The Republicans can't do that well.
- 2:19Speaker 3: They don't understand optics, they don't understand how to put
- 2:21Speaker 3: on disaz put on the show.
- 2:23Speaker 1: They're all it's actually more, it's actually more down to
- 2:27Speaker 1: earth than that. The Democratic Party in New York is
- 2:29Speaker 1: a massive machine. The Republican Party in New York is
- 2:32Speaker 1: that tiny, little two man operation. It's nothing. And for
- 2:37Speaker 1: a ground game, which is important getting people out of
- 2:39Speaker 1: the polls, knocking on doors, bringing voters in. The Democrats
- 2:42Speaker 1: now have about seventy five thousand people in their ground game.
- 2:46Speaker 1: The Republicans have eight hundred.
- 2:47Speaker 3: So and it's well. It also bodes for the midterms
- 2:52Speaker 3: this election in New York and they they're going to
- 2:54Speaker 3: learn something here and they're going to learn how they
- 2:56Speaker 3: can transfer it in a year to the midterms. So
- 2:58Speaker 3: it's dangerous, No.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's very dagous. But we'll see, we'll see everybody get
- 3:03Speaker 1: out there and vote. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 3:05Speaker 1: how you doing, Good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well,
- 3:09Speaker 1: thank you. Other than the fact that my allergies are
- 3:11Speaker 1: flaring enough. But I digress, Mark. Here's two reports in
- 3:15Speaker 1: Barrett Media about CBS News. Evidently the new management has
- 3:20Speaker 1: their eye on Brett Behar, but he's still under contract
- 3:23Speaker 1: at Fox News. And we have to keep in mind
- 3:26Speaker 1: this is a network that hired Katie Kirk a second option.
- 3:30Speaker 1: In the second report said that they're looking at possibly
- 3:33Speaker 1: taking back Nora O'Donnell. But the thing we have.
- 3:36Speaker 3: To remember, Mark, is CBS News was successfully sued by
- 3:40Speaker 3: Donald Trump.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah, well, she is cleaning it up slowly. We'll get
- 3:45Speaker 1: to this in the next hour. Brett Bear is under
- 3:48Speaker 1: contract for like the next five years to Fox News.
- 3:50Speaker 1: He's not available. But if you read her statement, it
- 3:53Speaker 1: was not we're going to get Brett Bear. It was
- 3:55Speaker 1: more like, we'd like a Brett Bear. Somebody like Brett Bear.
- 3:58Speaker 1: We'd like to So she meant a Brett Bear of
- 4:00Speaker 1: a guy who has a perception is much more neutral,
- 4:04Speaker 1: not so biased, not so partisan, middle of the road
- 4:08Speaker 1: kind of guy, kind of Walter Cronk heind of twenty
- 4:11Speaker 1: twenty five kind of a reputation. There have been some
- 4:14Speaker 1: changes noticed at CBS already, especially Sunday morning, but we'll
- 4:18Speaker 1: get to that. Coming up. Let's go to Rob in
- 4:21Speaker 1: Long Island. Rob. How you doing?
- 4:24Speaker 4: Yes, good morning, Mark?
- 4:25Speaker 1: How are you good?
- 4:26Speaker 2: So?
- 4:27Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:27Speaker 4: So yeah, we will get through Mondamie if should he
- 4:31Speaker 4: be elected, you.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Know what I mean.
- 4:32Speaker 1: We you're in Long Island. You've got Bruce Blakeman, best
- 4:35Speaker 1: county executive there is.
- 4:37Speaker 4: I know he is great, but you know the couple
- 4:40Speaker 4: of people that you mentioned Cuomo in Dublasio, they left
- 4:44Speaker 4: that fingerprints all over.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Our way of life here, and you know.
- 4:48Speaker 4: We've been suffering ever since. So let's hope that it
- 4:50Speaker 4: doesn't get that bad.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, I mean it's bad, it's bad, but
- 4:54Speaker 1: like as I say, Deblasi, you got through eight years
- 4:56Speaker 1: of that. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how
- 4:59Speaker 1: you good morning? Marcome okay?
- 5:02Speaker 3: Mark?
- 5:03Speaker 5: By Kathy Hokeele attending the Three Kami's rally at Forest Hills.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I believe next next year she sealed her fate at
- 5:13Speaker 5: least Stefanic I believe will win it because of that Mark.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Everybody's missing something that I said many times I said
- 5:21Speaker 5: on this show there are a lot of democrats. I
- 5:25Speaker 5: like in my family. My brother and sister are Democrats.
- 5:29Speaker 5: They will not vote for Mandami because they'd rather vote
- 5:34Speaker 5: for Cuomo because Mandami is a Muslim first, Democrat second,
- 5:40Speaker 5: and he doesn't represent their values. And they're gonna vote
- 5:44Speaker 5: for Cuomo because just like a lot of the Indians
- 5:48Speaker 5: and the Arabs are voting for Mandami because he's a
- 5:52Speaker 5: Southern Indian, my brother and sister are gonna vote for
- 5:56Speaker 5: Cuomo because he's an Italian American. It's that simple. And
- 6:01Speaker 5: that rally yesterday gave the Republican campaign ad planners plenty
- 6:08Speaker 5: of cannon fodder for next year's mid term elections. You
- 6:13Speaker 5: see those three maniacs on the stage raising their arms together,
- 6:18Speaker 5: and the background side, said free rent Well. I said,
- 6:22Speaker 5: in the recent years, the biggest problem for New York
- 6:27Speaker 5: landlords and business owners is keeping up and paying out
- 6:32Speaker 5: because of the regulations imposed upon us by bozos like
- 6:37Speaker 5: Hoko and and will. Eric Adams is on his way out.
- 6:43Speaker 5: But what Bondami's gonna do.
- 6:46Speaker 6: It's the regulations that are killing landlords. Any profits that
- 6:51Speaker 6: I made this year by raising rants were immediately raced
- 6:55Speaker 6: out by all the things I have to do now
- 6:58Speaker 6: to be compliant with the city.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah, local, Well, that's a very good point, Vincent, excellent call,
- 7:04Speaker 1: thanks for calling. You can lower rents simply, you're right
- 7:06Speaker 1: by getting rid of a lot of these regulations. Now
- 7:08Speaker 1: just remember Mom, Donnie a huge, huge rally this weekend,
- 7:12Speaker 1: thirteen thousand people Forest Hills Stadium filled the stadium. But
- 7:16Speaker 1: also just remember Howard Dean. Remember when Howard Dean ran,
- 7:20Speaker 1: he was the guy who was going to win. He
- 7:22Speaker 1: was having these rallies with fifty one hundred. They was
- 7:25Speaker 1: having these incredible rallies because he was a dynamic speaker.
- 7:28Speaker 1: The rallies were the most lively turnout in his rallies,
- 7:31Speaker 1: and he lost. He lost people just like his rallies,
- 7:34Speaker 1: they want to go. I mean, it didn't translate into
- 7:36Speaker 1: actual votes, so that can happen too. But hey, Michael
- 7:40Speaker 1: Goodwin is off this week. But when we come back,
- 7:43Speaker 1: we'll talk to the best legal analyst of all, Greg Jarrett.
- 7:46Speaker 1: We'll get to Letitia James, we'll get to all of
- 7:48Speaker 1: that stuff coming up next on seven to ten WR
