- 2:57Speaker 3: The Word of God is here to help us stink
- 3:00Speaker 3: a track, and the Fellowship is here also to help us.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Because we can deceive ourselves, our own hearts can turn
- 3:08Speaker 3: against us. We need to walk. We need to stay
- 3:11Speaker 3: in the spirit and subdue our flesh. So that's what

- 4:29Speaker 3: we ask O God, that you'll bless the hearers, O God,
- 4:32Speaker 3: and that Oh Lord, the hearers, Oh God, will be
- 4:35Speaker 3: able to share this podcast with others. Not be discouraged,
- 4:39Speaker 3: but to know God that this can be the difference
- 4:43Speaker 3: between someone making it into the kingdom and someone not
- 4:48Speaker 3: making it into the kingdom. This is our father's business.
- 4:52Speaker 3: We thank you Father in the mighty name of Jesus.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Amen and Amen, hallelujah. Well Jeremiah. We are in the
- 5:04Speaker 3: beginning book of Jeremiah. They covered the first chapter. We
- 5:10Speaker 3: are in the second chapter, and we have seen the
- 5:14Speaker 3: heartbreak of Almighty God asking a question, what have I done?
- 5:21Speaker 3: What is my iniquities? That your fathers walked away from me?
- 5:25Speaker 3: That they were not faithful to me? And if you
- 5:29Speaker 3: look around, no nation ever forsakes they're God. Have you
- 5:33Speaker 3: seen a Buddhist? Right, have you seen a Hindu? Have
- 5:37Speaker 3: you seen these other nations just start worshiping a whole
- 5:41Speaker 3: nother God. We don't see that. But the nation of
- 5:46Speaker 3: Israel did. They forsook their God for other gods. And
- 5:51Speaker 3: so God was making this point. It was a heart plea.
- 5:55Speaker 3: He doesn't want to destroy his people. He wants his
- 5:58Speaker 3: people to come back. Chapter we saw how our own sin,
- 6:02Speaker 3: our own wickedness, will leave the very thing that will
- 6:08Speaker 3: judge us and cause us to experience extreme pain and hardship.
- 6:16Speaker 3: And I've experienced that myself. It is not fun if
- 6:20Speaker 3: you plan to sin. Cancel those plans because there's nothing
- 6:26Speaker 3: but heartbreak after that. And now that leads us to
- 6:34Speaker 3: chapter two, verse twenty, And I'm coming at you from
- 6:37Speaker 3: the new King, James, and it says, for of old,
- 6:43Speaker 3: I have broken your yoke and burst your bonds, and
- 6:47Speaker 3: you said I will not transgress, when on every high heel,
- 6:55Speaker 3: under every green tree you lay down plane the Hartlets
- 7:00Speaker 3: Now see, look, this is the heart of God, and
- 7:03Speaker 3: how the heart of God breaks when we're not faithful
- 7:06Speaker 3: to him. And also right here God reminds Israel that
- 7:10Speaker 3: he delivered them and broke their chains and set them
- 7:16Speaker 3: free from bondage. Yet after being delivered, they turned right
- 7:21Speaker 3: back to idolatry and spiritual adultery. Now the high heel
- 7:30Speaker 3: in the green grass, where locations were idle worship took place.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Instead of remaining faithful to God, the people gave themselves
- 7:40Speaker 3: to false gods and to their own sinful desires. Does
- 7:45Speaker 3: that sound familiar a man? Now? Israel continually experienced the
- 7:54Speaker 3: mercy and deliverance of God, yet repeatedly returned to rebellion.
- 8:02Speaker 3: God had freedom, but they still chose disobedience. This is heartbreaking,
- 8:10Speaker 3: but this also becomes a warning for us today because
- 8:13Speaker 3: many people want deliverance without surrender. They want freedom from
- 8:19Speaker 3: consequences while still holding onto lifestyles that created the bondage
- 8:26Speaker 3: in the first place. Family freedom is more than just
- 8:31Speaker 3: your chains falling off. Freedom is learning how to walk
- 8:37Speaker 3: differently after you've been set free. See, some people are
- 8:42Speaker 3: delivered and they're set free from drug addiction, alcohol addiction,
- 8:48Speaker 3: porn addiction. Some people even get delivered from anger, from
- 8:54Speaker 3: toxic relationships, or even depression. But if the heart is
- 9:01Speaker 3: not fully surrendered to God, the temptation to return to
- 9:06Speaker 3: bondage remains. Now, that is deep, that's heavy. Now, Jeremiah
- 9:14Speaker 3: shows us that deliverance without obedience can lead right back
- 9:19Speaker 3: into captivity. Now, please please take heed to this podcast,
- 9:25Speaker 3: Take heed to these scriptures. If God has delivered you
- 9:29Speaker 3: from something, learn to yield your heart to the Lord
- 9:33Speaker 3: so that you will not turn back. The Bible says
- 9:36Speaker 3: that it'll be ten times worse if you go back
- 9:43Speaker 3: verse twenty one. Yet I had planted you a noble vine,
- 9:51Speaker 3: a seed of highest quality. How then have you turned
- 9:56Speaker 3: before me into the degenerate plant of an alien vine.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Now let's break this down. God says that he planted
- 10:11Speaker 3: Israel as a noble vine, chosen pure and full of purpose.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Yet they became corrupted through compromise and idolatry. God created
- 10:26Speaker 3: them for holiness, but they allow the world to reshape them.
- 10:34Speaker 3: God gave usual everything necessary to flourish spiritually, But their
- 10:41Speaker 3: corruption did not come from God but from their own
- 10:47Speaker 3: decisions to turn away from Him. Now this speaks loudly
- 10:53Speaker 3: today because compromise slowly changes identity. God planted purpose inside
- 11:03Speaker 3: of you. God planted calling inside of you. God even
- 11:11Speaker 3: planted gifts and a destiny inside of each and every
- 11:15Speaker 3: one of us. But when believers continually mix with sin
- 11:23Speaker 3: and play around with worldliness, eventually they stop reflecting the
- 11:30Speaker 3: character of Christ. God said in John chapter fifteen that
- 11:36Speaker 3: he is the vine, the true vine. The fruit we
- 11:42Speaker 3: produce reveals whether we're connected to his vine or not,
- 11:51Speaker 3: or are we connected to something else. Examine the fruit
- 11:58Speaker 3: in your life, beloved, We need to examine our fruit
- 12:03Speaker 3: and see what are we truly producing. Hey Man twenty two.
- 12:11Speaker 3: For though you wash yourself with lie and use much soul,
- 12:18Speaker 3: yet your iniquity is marked before me, says the Lord. Now,
- 12:25Speaker 3: Israel tried to cleanse themselves outwardly, but inwardly their sin remained.
- 12:34Speaker 3: God is saying that external religion cannot cover internal rebellion.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Let me say that again, external religion cannot cleanse internal rebellion.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Our word, appearance, and religious activity cannot remove guilt before God.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Only true repentance and a surrendered heart can cleanse our hearts. Amen,
- 13:06Speaker 3: let me say that again, only true repentance and surrender
- 13:11Speaker 3: can truly cleanse our hearts. We cannot person, We cannot
- 13:16Speaker 3: play around with this, beloved. This is very important because
- 13:22Speaker 3: many people today focus more on appearance than transformation. People
- 13:28Speaker 3: hide themselves and they hide behind church attendants, people hide
- 13:36Speaker 3: behind social media Christianity, people use religious language while secretly
- 13:45Speaker 3: battling hidden sin. But God sees beyond the appearance. He
- 13:52Speaker 3: sees it all. He sees our very hearts. Only Jesus
- 13:58Speaker 3: can truly cleanse us from sin. And all God wants
- 14:02Speaker 3: is us to be honest. He knows who we are,
- 14:06Speaker 3: He knows what we struggle with. The Bible says that
- 14:09Speaker 3: Jesus himself was tempted. He knows what it means to
- 14:14Speaker 3: be tempted. He just wants us to come to him
- 14:19Speaker 3: and confess and to be honest. That's one of the
- 14:22Speaker 3: things that is so great about our accountability partner segment
- 14:27Speaker 3: here on the podcast, where we learn how to confess
- 14:31Speaker 3: our faults and to pray for each other and to expose.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Once sin is exposed, it loses its power. But as
- 14:38Speaker 3: long as we keep his secret and think we're hiding it,
- 14:42Speaker 3: then sin has power over us a man. That's why
- 14:46Speaker 3: I confess. I like hearing the light, he says, He
- 14:50Speaker 3: tells on himself, like it's a game. Like that's why
- 14:54Speaker 3: I confess every chance I get, even on this podcast,
- 14:58Speaker 3: like this is not gonna in my heart. Amen. And
- 15:04Speaker 3: some people just get it twisted. They just don't understand
- 15:08Speaker 3: that confession is there to set us free and to
- 15:12Speaker 3: be honest before God, and then God will release his grace.
- 15:16Speaker 3: He'll begin to work with us once we are honestly
- 15:20Speaker 3: confessing our faults and our sins before him. Amen. It's
- 15:26Speaker 3: not about our word. Religious righteousness is inWORD surrender before
- 15:33Speaker 3: God verse twenty three. How can you say I am
- 15:38Speaker 3: not polluted, I have not gone after the bells. See
- 15:44Speaker 3: your way in the valley, Know that you have done,
- 15:49Speaker 3: Know what you've done. You are a swift drama dramatary
- 15:58Speaker 3: breaking loose in her way. That I said drama dromadary.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm pronouncing that word right, but
- 16:07Speaker 3: let's let's break it down. Israel deny their sin while
- 16:12Speaker 3: actively living in rebellion. How many of us seen that before?
- 16:17Speaker 3: How can we sit there and deny our sin and
- 16:22Speaker 3: live in it? How many of us have children, right?
- 16:26Speaker 3: How many of us have raised children before we've seen this?
- 16:30Speaker 3: They try to deny the very thing they're guilty of.
- 16:35Speaker 3: God compares them to a wild caramel running I mean
- 16:42Speaker 3: not carmo, excuse me, A wild camel running uncontrollably, symbolizing
- 16:49Speaker 3: reckless behavior and a lack of spiritual discipline. So that's
- 16:56Speaker 3: what the dramatary is. It's a type of camel, a
- 17:00Speaker 3: swift dramtary breaking loose in her ways. Now, repeated sin
- 17:09Speaker 3: can blind people spiritually until they no longer recognize their condition.
- 17:17Speaker 3: This is sad. One of the most dangerous places spiritually
- 17:23Speaker 3: is when conviction disappears. WHOA, let me say that again.
- 17:29Speaker 3: One of the most dangerous places spiritually that we could
- 17:33Speaker 3: ever be is when we are no longer convicted, when
- 17:39Speaker 3: we sin, when compromise starts to feel normal, when sin
- 17:47Speaker 3: is no longer doesn't bother you, right, if it doesn't
- 17:52Speaker 3: bother you to lie or to cheat, or to steal
- 17:58Speaker 3: or lust, When rebellion becomes comfortable. If you're comfortable and
- 18:04Speaker 3: you're rebellion, you know you're rebellion against God and you
- 18:10Speaker 3: feel comfortable doing it, that is a warning sign that
- 18:20Speaker 3: the heart is drifting away from God. We need the
- 18:25Speaker 3: Holy Spirit daily to examine our hearts and to convict us. Heymn.
- 18:32Speaker 3: This is dangerous, This is so important. I pray that
- 18:37Speaker 3: all of us listening to this podcast will really tap
- 18:40Speaker 3: into this and let this fall into our spirits. Myself
- 18:44Speaker 3: including God, forgive me for allowing your conviction to grow
- 18:50Speaker 3: silent in my heart. And every person listening right now,
- 18:54Speaker 3: forgive us we repent. Forgive us for compromising, Give us
- 19:00Speaker 3: for feeling comfortable in our rebellion. Lord, Please, oh God,
- 19:05Speaker 3: do not allow us to drift away. Lord, help us
- 19:07Speaker 3: to get it right the areas where we struggle. And
- 19:12Speaker 3: Jesus Name, I just had to say a prayer right
- 19:14Speaker 3: there that is convicting. Amen. Jeremiah Man, Jeremiah is gonna
- 19:21Speaker 3: transform us. Hallelujah. Verse twenty four. Just a couple of
- 19:25Speaker 3: verses ago. A wild donkey.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Used to be.
- 19:34Speaker 3: A wild dunkey used to the wild, used to the
- 19:38Speaker 3: wildern and wild donkey used to the wilderness. That stiffens
- 19:45Speaker 3: at the wind in her desire. Let me start this
- 19:50Speaker 3: over again. Man, I must have got convicted real hard.
- 19:53Speaker 3: I can't read. Okay, wild donkey used in the wilderness,
- 19:58Speaker 3: that sniffs at the wind in her desire in her
- 20:03Speaker 3: time of mating. Who can turn her away? All those
- 20:08Speaker 3: who seek her will not worry themselves in her month
- 20:13Speaker 3: They will find her. Okay. Now this is pretty deep
- 20:19Speaker 3: right here. As while donkey basically it's a female donkey
- 20:22Speaker 3: in heat, this verse is strong and it gives the
- 20:28Speaker 3: imagery to show us Israel passionately cheating sinful desires and
- 20:37Speaker 3: her desires of idolatry against God. Now sin had become
- 20:47Speaker 3: instructive and uncontrollable because they continually feed it. Now people
- 21:03Speaker 3: continually surrender to the flesh. That is what it's saying, right,
- 21:11Speaker 3: Simful desires begin to dominate our lives. If we continuously
- 21:19Speaker 3: surrender to our sinful desires, those desires will grow stronger
- 21:24Speaker 3: and stronger. Now, this Donkey and keep Right is basically
- 21:29Speaker 3: saying that any donkey can come and sleep with her
- 21:34Speaker 3: like that's how hungry, that's how passionate her desires became. Now,
- 21:42Speaker 3: whatever you continuously feed will grow strong. Do you feed
- 21:48Speaker 3: the spirit or do you feed the flesh. If you
- 21:51Speaker 3: continually feed lust, anger, pride, compromise, addiction, or bitterness, those
- 21:59Speaker 3: desires begin to control your life. That's why spiritual discipline matters.
- 22:07Speaker 3: That's why I tell people to meet me daily on
- 22:13Speaker 3: this podcast to help them to develop disciplined because without that,
- 22:21Speaker 3: we're just gonna fall to our sinful and lustful desires.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Spiritual discipline matters. Prayer matters, worship matters, fasting matters, Bible study,
- 22:35Speaker 3: reading your word matters, accountability matters. Your flesh cannot be
- 22:41Speaker 3: allowed to lead your life. Hey man, let me say
- 22:45Speaker 3: that again. Our flesh cannot be allowed to lead our life.
- 22:52Speaker 3: We really need to tap into this discipline. A lot
- 22:56Speaker 3: of people I could tell. I've talked to people. They said, Oh,
- 22:59Speaker 3: I'm gonna show up to the podcasts, Oh, I'm gonna
- 23:01Speaker 3: log in, I'm going to meet you there and I'm
- 23:03Speaker 3: gonna be in the replay, and then they disappear. And
- 23:08Speaker 3: I know what it is. We need to start praying
- 23:11Speaker 3: for these people because it's the enemy trying to stop
- 23:16Speaker 3: them or prevent them from learning these principles. Because Beloved,
- 23:24Speaker 3: I wish I could say that they're getting taught this
- 23:26Speaker 3: in churches, but I don't know. I don't know. I
- 23:30Speaker 3: don't know if the church is teaching scripture verse by verse,
- 23:36Speaker 3: chapter by chapter, getting the word, digging into the meat
- 23:40Speaker 3: of the word. I don't know if they're getting this
- 23:43Speaker 3: in their daily diet. I don't know if they're even
- 23:45Speaker 3: studying the Bible on their own to get this to
- 23:49Speaker 3: understand this. Because it's the word that is going to
- 23:53Speaker 3: feed their spirit. And so that's why it's really important. Now.
- 24:01Speaker 3: I'm not trying to say you need this podcast to
- 24:03Speaker 3: serve God. That's not what I'm saying at all. But
- 24:06Speaker 3: I'm saying this podcast will help you grow immature. Amen.
- 24:13Speaker 3: It picks up the pieces where some of the churches
- 24:16Speaker 3: are missing. I'm not saying all the churches. There's churches
- 24:20Speaker 3: that are teaching and preaching and they're they're on it.
- 24:22Speaker 3: You know. I'm not saying you know at all that
- 24:27Speaker 3: we are it on this podcast. No, not at all.
- 24:31Speaker 3: There's thriving churches that have never heard of it. But
- 24:34Speaker 3: I'm just saying the biblical principle that all churches should
- 24:38Speaker 3: be teaching. You're gonna hear it here. If you're not
- 24:41Speaker 3: gonna hear it anywhere else. This is a daily maintenance,
- 24:45Speaker 3: a daily walk, Amen, Verse twenty five with hold your
- 24:52Speaker 3: foot from being unshod, in your throat from thirst. But
- 25:00Speaker 3: you said there is no hope. No, for I have
- 25:05Speaker 3: loved aliens, and after them I will go. Now. God
- 25:14Speaker 3: warns Israel to stop exhausting themselves chasing false guys in
- 25:20Speaker 3: empty desires, but the people refuse correction. They openly admit
- 25:28Speaker 3: they want to continue pursuing these idols. And that is heartbreaking.
- 25:36Speaker 3: I mean, you gotta respect their position, right, at least
- 25:40Speaker 3: they finally admitted it. Now. This as the tragedy of
- 25:53Speaker 3: heartening their heart. The people became addicted to the very
- 25:58Speaker 3: things that are destroying them Spiritually. Sin promises satisfaction but
- 26:07Speaker 3: always leaves people empty. People chase after money, They chase
- 26:17Speaker 3: after relationships, after fame. People want attention. People want substance,
- 26:30Speaker 3: worldly success, all these things. But nothing can satisfy the
- 26:34Speaker 3: soul except God Almighty and God alone. Only Jesus is
- 26:42Speaker 3: the living water that can truly satisfy spiritual thirst. Let
- 26:50Speaker 3: me say that again. Only Jesus is the living water
- 26:57Speaker 3: that can satisfy our spiritual thirst. Time for a break.
- 27:04Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 27:08Speaker 5: is the Hiss Hop Radio Show.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Yes, Yes, I've.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Been up, I've been down.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I've been up, I've been.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Down right, but no matter where I go, you will
- 27:21Speaker 2: never let me die right. Cool, I've been up, I've
- 27:25Speaker 2: been down, I've been up, I've been down alright. Yeah,
- 27:30Speaker 2: but no matter where I go, you will never let
- 27:32Speaker 2: me die right. How I feel being the one that's
- 27:37Speaker 2: tapped into the blood right, I ain't talking to you
- 27:40Speaker 2: a street code. I'm just talking to you like he
- 27:44Speaker 2: rose standing so tall down sea folks under pression, it's
- 27:48Speaker 2: really free throwst meaning the easiest shots the heart is
- 27:52Speaker 2: to take when you got all of your brain and
- 27:54Speaker 2: try to tell you you can't, but I know why can?
- 27:57Speaker 2: This is not my plan. I really see guys in.
- 28:00Speaker 2: It's like, be patience. Low motion is motion. Don't be anxious. God,
- 28:04Speaker 2: God that we coasting. If Phil tell me the move,
- 28:07Speaker 2: then I'm posting hold out here to the sky.
- 28:10Speaker 5: We now hopeless.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been up, I've been down. I've been up,
- 28:15Speaker 2: I've been down right, but no matter where I go,
- 28:20Speaker 2: you will never let me die right. Cool, I've been up,
- 28:24Speaker 2: I've been down, I've been up, I've been down all right. Yeah,
- 28:29Speaker 2: but no matter where I go, you will never let
- 28:32Speaker 2: me go all.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Right, swamp comforting. It's why I can't forget.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I would go to sleep on my brother's couch dreaming

- 28:48Speaker 3: Hey? The States is high like daylying.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Hey, I sometimes forget that it's not I that holds
- 28:54Speaker 2: the world on his axis. Faith is a practice that
- 28:57Speaker 2: mean the winds and the losses create balance. See patient,
- 29:01Speaker 2: slow motions motion, don't be anxious, God, God that we coasting.
- 29:05Speaker 2: If you'n't tell me the move, then I'm posting. Hold
- 29:08Speaker 2: our head to the sky. Were now hopeless. Yeah, I've
- 29:12Speaker 2: been up, I've been down.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I've been up.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I've been downright, But no matter where I go, you
- 29:19Speaker 2: will never let me die. Alright, Cool, I've been up,
- 29:24Speaker 2: I've been down, I've been up. I've been down a right, yeah,
- 29:28Speaker 2: but no matter where I go, you will never let
- 29:31Speaker 2: me down.
- 29:31Speaker 6: Right, no matter what happens, I look to this guy
- 29:40Speaker 6: and thank down for another day. The money that we
- 29:43Speaker 6: made the ta replace faith and hope and love. That's
- 29:46Speaker 6: what made life worth being. In a way.
- 29:48Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 29:52Speaker 5: is the Hiss Hop Radio show.
- 30:10Speaker 3: All right, all right, we are back from that break.
- 30:14Speaker 3: This is your brother, mister his Hop and that is
- 30:17Speaker 3: Derek Miier. I've been up, I've been down on the
- 30:21Speaker 3: music break. Here on the podcast, we are going through
- 30:24Speaker 3: the Book of Jeremiah. We're looking at the heart of God,
- 30:28Speaker 3: breaking over his nation Israel, and also learning right, learning
- 30:35Speaker 3: from the past, learning from those who have you know,
- 30:40Speaker 3: lived this out before us. We have scripture to help
- 30:43Speaker 3: lead and guide us. We have to protect our hearts, beloved.
- 30:49Speaker 3: We have to protect our relationship with God, make sure
- 30:53Speaker 3: that we are sowing to this spirit and not to
- 30:56Speaker 3: our flesh. And that leads us into our partner statement
- 31:01Speaker 3: which will help us with this the accountability. All you
- 31:06Speaker 3: have to do is on the top left menu on
- 31:08Speaker 3: the app. Click on that menu when it drops down,
- 31:12Speaker 3: click on podcasts and then click on his Hot Radio
- 31:18Speaker 3: podcast and find that accountability partner link. Go over some
- 31:23Speaker 3: self help questions. These are things to help you. These
- 31:27Speaker 3: are aids tools for you. This was created for you
- 31:32Speaker 3: to help you stay on that narrow path that help
- 31:36Speaker 3: you cleanse your temple spiritually, to clean your mind and
- 31:40Speaker 3: your heart before God. Amen. Let us not neglect these
- 31:45Speaker 3: things and then find ourselves in trouble on that day
- 31:48Speaker 3: when the things that truly matter is right here before us.
- 31:52Speaker 3: And man, take the time out for yourself, Amen, and
- 31:56Speaker 3: for your family hallelujah. I would go over those questions
- 32:01Speaker 3: as often as I can, and then you can request
- 32:04Speaker 3: a follow up because there's power and agreement of prayer. Amen.
- 32:11Speaker 3: And also go to the live chat and then you
- 32:17Speaker 3: can check out our we have a daily challenge and
- 32:20Speaker 3: also we have our trivia over there. So head on
- 32:22Speaker 3: over to the live chat. You know the accountability partner.
- 32:27Speaker 3: You'll find that there and it says take a moment
- 32:29Speaker 3: this week to check in with your accountability partner. Now,
- 32:34Speaker 3: these are some questions you can ask and talk topics
- 32:37Speaker 3: you could use right, how is your prayer life? And
- 32:43Speaker 3: be honest? Right, and this only happens when we're honest.
- 32:47Speaker 3: God isn't into our word religious performance.
- 32:52Speaker 6: A man.
- 32:52Speaker 3: I was actually at the park where my family the
- 32:56Speaker 3: other day we went to Arizona. We went to Lake Havasu.
- 33:03Speaker 3: We just got back in today actually, so we rent
- 33:07Speaker 3: out some jet skis and we had some family fun
- 33:10Speaker 3: playing out in the sun. Summer is finally here. And
- 33:15Speaker 3: our first night we went out, we went to the
- 33:19Speaker 3: Rotary Lake. If you ever go out there, it's only
- 33:21Speaker 3: a two hour drive from Vegas. So it's a fun
- 33:25Speaker 3: little trip. If you want to go get into water.
- 33:28Speaker 3: You don't want to mess around with lake need Sometimes
- 33:31Speaker 3: there's a lot of bugs and stuff in Lake Mead
- 33:33Speaker 3: or even in Laughlin, you know, so we wanted to
- 33:38Speaker 3: find a lake that didn't have all those bugs in
- 33:40Speaker 3: so we found a Lake Havasu in Arizona. I'm talking
- 33:47Speaker 3: to the people that live in Vegas. You know, it's
- 33:48Speaker 3: only a two hour drive. It's cruel. You pass Laughlin
- 33:52Speaker 3: and you keep going on the forty. And so the
- 33:58Speaker 3: first night we went out, we jumped into the water.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Water was nice and warm, I mean it was cool.
- 34:05Speaker 3: There's boats all around us and jet skis and everything.
- 34:08Speaker 4: And then.
- 34:10Speaker 3: We grabbed a hotel. I believe it's Island Emerald or
- 34:13Speaker 3: something like that. Very nice people, very friendly over there,
- 34:19Speaker 3: and if you go there, tell him you heard a
- 34:22Speaker 3: bottom on his hot radio. Give him a shout out.
- 34:24Speaker 3: We had a great time with them, had all the
- 34:27Speaker 3: children with us, six of us all together, taking a
- 34:31Speaker 3: little road trip family trip. And so next day we
- 34:35Speaker 3: rented the jet skis and we were out there for
- 34:38Speaker 3: a couple hours just playing in the water and my
- 34:42Speaker 3: daughter Aren'mianey. I let her drive and man, I thought
- 34:45Speaker 3: I was gonna fall off the thing. But that's an
- 34:48Speaker 3: inside joke. But anyway, as we were in Rodary Park
- 34:54Speaker 3: for two days, we were there right because we went
- 34:57Speaker 3: back to Rotary Park after the jet skis because we
- 35:01Speaker 3: liked the swimming spot over there. They got it like
- 35:03Speaker 3: roped off, and you know, we had some fun. But
- 35:08Speaker 3: we also met this brother in the park walking through
- 35:11Speaker 3: the park. He had his sign, you know, preaching Jesus.
- 35:14Speaker 3: He's an evangelist. So we stopped him. We got some
- 35:17Speaker 3: fellowship and I told him about the radio station what
- 35:21Speaker 3: I do in Las Vegas. You know, we do concerts
- 35:23Speaker 3: and outreaches and you know, daily podcasts and stuff like that.
- 35:28Speaker 3: And he was really interested and he was allowing me
- 35:31Speaker 3: to you know, hear the things that he does. He's
- 35:35Speaker 3: out in the park. You know, he's a frontline Christian,
- 35:39Speaker 3: just like myself. And he was encouraging me about fasting.
- 35:42Speaker 3: You know, I told him sometimes I struggle. I break
- 35:45Speaker 3: my fast more often than not. Sometimes I love to
- 35:48Speaker 3: eat family, and I've confessed this before. It's been a
- 35:52Speaker 3: struggle for me to to say, am I some fast.
- 35:55Speaker 3: I'm successful. I've done a twenty one day fast successfully,
- 35:59Speaker 3: so it's not like I haven't and I can't. But
- 36:02Speaker 3: sometimes I just like just out of I don't even
- 36:05Speaker 3: be hungry sometimes sometimes just I just want to celebrate
- 36:09Speaker 3: something and I just eat something, you know what I mean.
- 36:12Speaker 3: So I was able to confess that in just it
- 36:15Speaker 3: felt good. It just felt good to be able to
- 36:17Speaker 3: confess these scenes and be honest.
- 36:20Speaker 6: You know.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I wasn't trying to fake the funk, right like, Oh,
- 36:24Speaker 3: I'm just some big Christian in Las Vegas just taking
- 36:27Speaker 3: over the city, which that is my heart, and I
- 36:30Speaker 3: believe that we've done it before and God will use
- 36:32Speaker 3: us again. But it was great just to fellowship with
- 36:36Speaker 3: the brother. And one of the things he told me
- 36:39Speaker 3: it was about fasting, is that your spirit, man, you
- 36:43Speaker 3: are a spirit with a soul in a body, and
- 36:47Speaker 3: a lot of people think that you are a soul
- 36:49Speaker 3: with the body and the spirit, there is nowhere to
- 36:52Speaker 3: be found. Well, if you're not born again, you're not
- 36:56Speaker 3: And some of us do not allow the spirit to lead,
- 37:00Speaker 3: you know. The spirit is to tell the flesh to
- 37:03Speaker 3: you know, be quiet when you're hungry and you want
- 37:05Speaker 3: to break that fast. The spirit, the flesh and the
- 37:09Speaker 3: soul are to be subject to the spirit. And that
- 37:12Speaker 3: helped me. That helped me a lot. So I was
- 37:15Speaker 3: able to confess and to pray and to I'm gonna
- 37:18Speaker 3: connect with the brother. The brother said he does ministry
- 37:21Speaker 3: out here on Fremont Street. So we're gonna connect and
- 37:25Speaker 3: do an outreach together as soon as we make the
- 37:28Speaker 3: connection official. But yeah, you know, that's that's one of
- 37:33Speaker 3: the things, you know, what I mean is just you know,
- 37:36Speaker 3: have someone and that helped me, like that really helped me.
- 37:40Speaker 3: So talk about you know, how is your paralyzed? Be
- 37:43Speaker 3: honest about it. What areas are you struggling in? Are
- 37:47Speaker 3: you feeding your spirit or are you feeding your flesh?
- 37:52Speaker 3: What do you feed more often? To be honest, we
- 37:55Speaker 3: need to starve our flesh completely, don't feed it at all.
- 38:00Speaker 3: What can I pray for about right? What can I
- 38:04Speaker 3: pray about for you or what can we agree in prayer? Really,
- 38:09Speaker 3: and growth happens when believers walk in honesty and with accountability. Amen.
- 38:17Speaker 3: So if you don't have anyone in your church or
- 38:22Speaker 3: anyone in your life that you can pray with or
- 38:24Speaker 3: hold you accountable, you got it right here only his
- 38:26Speaker 3: Hot Radio podcast. And I believe that this segment will grow.
- 38:31Speaker 3: We're gonna actually invite guests that have been blessed that
- 38:35Speaker 3: have participated with this segment and talk about it, talk
- 38:40Speaker 3: about their experience with it. Amen. Also, we want to
- 38:46Speaker 3: remind you that His Hot Radio is a monitored and
- 38:49Speaker 3: a reporting and radio station. We don't just play music
- 38:53Speaker 3: over the internet and monitor and we charted. We submit

- 39:37Speaker 3: champ and a trivia shout out to our brother Corinth,
- 39:41Speaker 3: who has been a contender, even misses his hop try
- 39:45Speaker 3: to knock them off the game, but our brother has
- 39:49Speaker 3: been consistent. That's cool, that's cool. That just means you're learning,
- 39:55Speaker 3: we're learning the Bible, we're learning these things. We're making
- 39:58Speaker 3: it fun, making it a game out of it. But
- 40:02Speaker 3: is there any other challengers out there today that can
- 40:07Speaker 3: challenge our brother? The first one to get the right
- 40:09Speaker 3: answer post it in the live chat, wins, And I
- 40:13Speaker 3: tell you a secret, I always post it in the

- 40:43Speaker 3: a question. What profit confronted King David after his sin
- 40:47Speaker 3: with Bathsheba? And he said that again, what profit confronted
- 40:52Speaker 3: King David after his sin with Bathsheba? The first one
- 41:01Speaker 3: to get it right is the trivia champ for today
- 41:08Speaker 3: community shout out. Also, this is where we talk about events.
- 41:12Speaker 3: If you have an event coming up, we want to
- 41:15Speaker 3: talk about yours. We do have an event at the
- 41:17Speaker 3: Golden Nugget, but this is more of a private corporate event,
- 41:24Speaker 3: not necessarily our normal His Hop Nation outreach. Shout out
- 41:28Speaker 3: to our brother Zone three, our brother Repent and women
- 41:35Speaker 3: of the word. We did an event at the Metals
- 41:37Speaker 3: mall right there in the entrance. That was amazing, and
- 41:42Speaker 3: we did that last month. So this month we're at
- 41:46Speaker 3: the at least mister his Hot as the DJ, will
- 41:50Speaker 3: be at the Golden Nugget. We do have some other
- 41:55Speaker 3: events on the book. If you want to minister and
- 41:57Speaker 3: be one of the artists at some of the events,

- 42:26Speaker 3: click on game nights, Game Night. You're gonna have find
- 42:29Speaker 3: some fun games on the app, and right there it
- 42:32Speaker 3: should be at the top. It says community activities right here.
- 42:36Speaker 3: You can upload a selfie pick. You can upload a video.
- 42:42Speaker 3: If you have a video, you know, record it, you
- 42:45Speaker 3: know whatever, thirty seconds or whatever you want to cord.

- 43:00Speaker 3: and we will tag you on social media. Let's just
- 43:05Speaker 3: make our community a little more active and a little
- 43:08Speaker 3: more fun. Encourage others to join. Who says that servant
- 43:16Speaker 3: God has to be born? Right? Amen and amen. Also,
- 43:25Speaker 3: we want to let you know that His Hot Radio
- 43:28Speaker 3: is a nonprofit organization. We are at five oh one C. Three.
- 43:33Speaker 3: We used to operate a five thousand square foot warehouse
- 43:38Speaker 3: in Las Vegas off of Patrick and Anny Oakley. We
- 43:42Speaker 3: held a lot of concerts there for seven years, about
- 43:46Speaker 3: six and a half almost seven years. Every month we
- 43:49Speaker 3: did events. Artists would come and travel to Vegas to
- 43:52Speaker 3: come and minister and bless our city. We've been able
- 43:58Speaker 3: to That's what started the podcast and the radio network
- 44:01Speaker 3: and everything else. We started off as a club and
- 44:05Speaker 3: we would like to relaunch or reopen, but this time
- 44:09Speaker 3: we have our business house in order, and we would
- 44:12Speaker 3: like to be a monthly supporter. If you would like
- 44:16Speaker 3: to give to that so that we can reopen our building.
- 44:20Speaker 3: You can do so on our website, his hotnation dot
- 44:23Speaker 3: com or on the app his Hot Radio on all platforms,
- 44:27Speaker 3: and your donation is tax deductable. You can write it off,
- 44:33Speaker 3: pray about it, and see what the Lord would like
- 44:37Speaker 3: for you to do to support this movement. Also, we're
- 44:42Speaker 3: looking for supporters, donors, grants, grant writers, volunteers. We are
- 44:48Speaker 3: an organization. We do need help with events and pass
- 44:53Speaker 3: out flyers and social media, just all that good stuff.
- 44:57Speaker 3: So Amen, if God is leading you to do that,
- 45:02Speaker 3: don't hesitate to contact us. Amen. All right, belove it.
- 45:10Speaker 3: That is my time for today. But before we get
- 45:16Speaker 3: out of here, we have some final comments and we're
- 45:20Speaker 3: going to close it out in prayer. Jeremiah chapter two
- 45:26Speaker 3: reveals what happens when people slowly drift away from God.
- 45:30Speaker 3: God is confronting compromise, rebellion, spiritual emptiness, hidden sin in
- 45:42Speaker 3: a hardened heart. This is what God is dealing with. Amen.
- 45:49Speaker 3: God gives us free choice, but He wants to try
- 45:51Speaker 3: to deal and correct us so that we don't fall
- 45:56Speaker 3: away from him. But even in correction, God is still
- 46:01Speaker 3: calling his people back to himself. Maybe someone listening today
- 46:07Speaker 3: feels spiritually dry. Maybe you feel like you're distant from
- 46:11Speaker 3: God or trapped in a cycle that you cannot break. Now,
- 46:17Speaker 3: the good news is that God is still restoring people. Right.
- 46:24Speaker 3: God still restores, God still heals. He is still in
- 46:28Speaker 3: the forgiving business. God has a beautiful, forgiving heart, and
- 46:35Speaker 3: God delivers those who return to him. A man, are
- 46:40Speaker 3: you ready? It takes you might have walked a thousand
- 46:43Speaker 3: steps away from him, but it's only one step to
- 46:47Speaker 3: come back. So let's pray together. Father, God, we repent
- 46:56Speaker 3: for every area or we have drifted away from you.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Cleanse our hearts and renew our mind's. Father, let me
- 47:09Speaker 3: start over, and I'm going to kill the music on
- 47:11Speaker 3: this one. Oh God. We repent, Lord God, for every area,
- 47:15Speaker 3: O God, Oh Lord, that we've compromised and even drifted,
- 47:19Speaker 3: Oh God, cleanse our hearts, Lord, and renew our minds. God,
- 47:23Speaker 3: break every chain and every unhealthy attachment. Lord, help us
- 47:31Speaker 3: stop chasing broken sisions and return fully to the living
- 47:35Speaker 3: water found only in Jesus Christ, our Savior. O God,
- 47:42Speaker 3: fill us again with your Holy spirit and teach us
- 47:45Speaker 3: to walk in holiness, obedience and truth. And we asked this,
- 47:51Speaker 3: O Lord in Jesus's name. Amen and amen. If you
- 47:56Speaker 3: said that prayer, hit us up in a life chat,
- 47:58Speaker 3: let us know. And you can also find me on
- 48:02Speaker 3: social media, mister his Hop on all platforms, or look
- 48:06Speaker 3: up his hot Nation and all platforms and you'll find us.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Let us know that you said that prayer, and let
- 48:12Speaker 3: us know that you're going to join the accountability Partner
- 48:16Speaker 3: segment here on this podcast. And let us stay on
- 48:19Speaker 3: that narrow path. Amen, and remember it's not about us,
- 48:24Speaker 3: It's all about the Christ in us. See ya.
- 48:26Speaker 4: In the next episode, you are listening to the Light
- 48:41Speaker 4: of Las Vegas.
- 48:43Speaker 5: This is the His Hop radio show.
