Mega Edition: How Deutsche Bank Avoided An Epstein Related Trial (6/19/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:01
Speaker 1: In news that should come as a shock to nobody.
0:04
Deutsche Bank has been smacked with one hundred and fifty
0:07
million dollar penalty for their ties to Jeffrey Epstein. If
0:13
you've been listening to this podcast for a while, then
0:15
you know that I have been railing about the financial
0:19
crimes in this case, and I believe that the financial
0:23
crimes in this case will be the crimes that bring
0:26
the enablers down. All of their finances are tied up.
0:31
Everybody Jeffrey Epstein was sending money to, or receiving money
0:36
from or anybody in the organization, well that is all
0:40
dirty money. And if you receive that money, well you
0:44
are now part of this conspiracy. And that is how
0:49
these financial crimes are investigated, and that's how they're prosecuted.
0:55
So at the end of the day, all of these
0:58
enablers that were always taught talking about that were hangers on,
1:01
you know, people that were receiving money from Epstein, you know,
1:04
going to his parties, had business dealings with them, Not
1:08
the ones that were engaging in the actual trafficking or
1:11
the facilitating of the trafficking. But the enablers, the other
1:15
tier I'm always talking about. Those are the people that
1:18
seen this news today that Deutsche Bank got hit with
1:21
one hundred and fifty million dollars slap and those are
1:24
the people that are panicking because remember, when you follow
1:29
the money, you usually end up at a politician, and
1:35
that's what's happening here. It looks like you know, I've
1:37
been talking about forensic accountants as well, and it certainly
1:40
seems that there is something going on behind the scenes
1:43
where they are starting to trace down these these these money,
1:49
these transactions, where they where they came from, and where
1:52
they went.
1:53
Speaker 2: It is all a huge part of this.
1:55
Speaker 1: And I know for a fact right now that all
1:58
of these enablers that were in with Epstein, people like
2:01
Jess Staley, Leon Black, Glenn Dubin, all of these people
2:09
that were involved with him financially, are really really not
2:15
having a good day today because this is a big deal.
2:18
Speaker 2: This is a predicate to Rico, right, and.
2:21
Speaker 1: I don't mean Rico as far as the child trafficking
2:25
portion of this. I'm talking about financial Rico crimes. These
2:29
are the crimes that they end up taking down all
2:31
the mafioso on right. Oh, they'll charge them with murder
2:34
and conspiracy to commit murder, but they usually end up
2:38
nailing them on financial crimes. And that's what's going to
2:43
happen to these enablers if this investigation is carried out
2:48
the correct way. Now we all know that I'm skeptical
2:52
of the federal government, and I am skeptical of the
2:55
way they've conducted themselves from the very beginning. I will
2:58
remain skeptical. But what I am seeing here, Like I
3:01
said a few weeks ago before Maxwell was arrested, remember
3:04
everybody else was talking about how Maxwell's not gonna get arrested,
3:08
We're not gonna get justice. She's in Paris, she has
3:11
extradition protection.
3:12
Speaker 2: Blah blah blah blah. Negative. We are four months away
3:19
from an election.
3:21
Speaker 1: There is immense pressure on the SDNY to do the
3:25
right thing in this case. And I'll tell you this
3:30
much right now, everybody should be scared because we have
3:34
no idea what the future holds in this country as
3:36
far as elections go. Right, he could be a whole
3:39
different ballgame in four months. But as of right now,
3:43
I'm seeing signs that this investigation is actually coming to life,
3:47
that this investigation is starting to follow the money. And
3:51
when that occurs and the money is truly followed, you
3:55
always end up in the office of some scumbag politics
4:01
who was running some sort of scumbag scheme which inevitably
4:07
is no good for anybody but them and their few friends.
4:13
Today's article is from CNBC dot com and the headline
4:17
is Deutsche Bank hit with one hundred and fifty million
4:19
dollar penalty for relationship to sex offender pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
4:25
This article was authored by Dan Mangen and Jim Forkin.
4:31
New York state financial regulators said Tuesday that they have
4:35
slapped deutsch Bank with one hundred and fifty million dollar
4:37
penalty for significant compliance failures in the bank's dealings with
4:41
the accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, a now dead investor,
4:46
as well as with two client banks. Folks, this is
4:50
this is such bad news for them, but such good
4:53
news for the investigation and for the survivors legal teams.
4:58
If you don't think that the survivors legal teams are
5:01
digging into this and looking for every single angle to
5:05
make sure that every single bit of punishment is dropped
5:10
on the heads of these people, you are wrong. Now,
5:14
I don't have any inside information about that right, Like,
5:16
I don't talk to the lawyers or anything, but you
5:19
would think by the way that they've conducted themselves throughout
5:21
this whole entire ordeal, how they've had all of their
5:24
ducks in a row, and how everything has been very targeted,
5:29
that they're certainly keeping a very good eye on this
5:32
and this kind of ruling most certainly will trickle into
5:38
the actual criminal portion of this case. The New York
5:43
State Department of Financial Services said that Deutsche Bank, which
5:46
agreed to the payment under a consent order, felt a
5:50
properly monitor account activity conducted on behalf of the registered
5:54
sex offender, despite ample public information about mister Epstein's earlier
5:59
criminal conduct. And now, remember previously I talked a lot
6:03
about regulations, right, Title thirty one, I talked about SARS,
6:07
I talked about a little bit about Title eighteen, and
6:10
how all of these things are tools that are used
6:14
by investigators for financial crimes. And it's obvious to anyone
6:19
paying attention that Deutsche Bank was not hitting this guy
6:23
with suspicious activity requests reports nowhere near at the pace
6:28
they should have been. Now, there might have been one
6:30
or two that were filed by regulators that might not
6:32
have been in the know, like as a mistake or something.
6:35
But we know that Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan weren't
6:39
keeping things up to date in the fins in database.
6:41
Speaker 2: We know that, and we know that they're right here.
6:44
Speaker 1: They're being told that they were facilitating this, they were
6:47
involved in this. And I don't think one hundred and
6:49
fifty million, while it's a good slap in the mouth,
6:51
I don't think it's good enough. Furthermore, I think that
6:55
one hundred and fifty million should not go to the
6:57
state of New York. That one hundred and fifty million
7:00
should be put into the pool, the estate pool, and
7:02
then the survivors should get that as well. The big
7:07
settlement comes days after Epstein's alleged procureur co conspirator all
7:12
around child molester sick broad Gilay Maxwell, was arrested on
7:16
federal charges that accuse her of helping him get access
7:20
to and groom underage.
7:21
Speaker 2: Girls so he could sexually abuse them.
7:24
Speaker 1: And this stuff doesn't happen in a vacuum, right, All
7:28
of this stuff's coming out now because the assault is
7:30
on and with Gilean Maxwell, the head of the snake
7:34
being decapitated, you know that the push is coming, so
7:39
we'll see this kind of thing start to happen more often,
7:41
and probably at a quick clip. The news is fast
7:46
and heavy right now at this case, and there is
7:48
a lot of disinformation out there as well, so please
7:50
be on the lookout for that kind of stuff, such
7:53
nonsense as doctor Fauci's involved in this case. I mean,
7:57
come on, really, So there is a lot of disinform
8:00
right now. But when you're seeing this real tangent news
8:05
come out, this news that's applicable to what is going
8:08
on in this case, you just have to smile. If
8:11
you've been following things, I know I have been very
8:15
very hard on the federal government, super hard on them
8:18
because it's filled with all sorts of snakes and disgusting people,
8:23
right and when it comes to the Department of Justice,
8:27
forget about it, they're a laughing stock.
8:30
Speaker 2: But every now and then shit'll go right.
8:33
Speaker 1: All I hope here is that we continue to see
8:36
progress the way we're seeing lately. And if this is
8:39
any indication this settlement, Gilaine being arrested, Brian Vickers going
8:44
dark with his social media, then folks, there is a
8:48
lot more coming. The question is how much and when
8:55
the State said it was the first enforcement action by
8:58
a regulator against financial institutions for dealing with Epstein. Now,
9:02
remember Barclays and Jess Staley, who I have been all over,
9:06
are also getting a good hard look right now, but
9:09
by financial regulators in London, and with all of this
9:14
stuff coming forward, now, all of the girls that were
9:16
abused in London coming forward, it's going to put immense
9:19
pressure on the regulators in England to also slap Barclays.
9:25
And we got to make sure that JP Morgan doesn't
9:27
escape this because Epstein was with JP Morgan for years
9:31
and they facilitated so many of his financial transactions. The
9:38
consent order covers deutsch Bank's relationship with Epstein and correspondent
9:42
banking relationships with Dance Bank, Estonia and FBme Bank. Deutsche
9:50
Bank maintained a relationship with Epstein as well as with
9:53
related individuals and entities from August twenty thirteen until December
9:58
of twenty eighteen. And remember twenty thirteen is when JP
10:02
Morgan jettisoned him. I know it's a coincidence that Jeff
10:06
Staley had happened to leave at that time, right that
10:08
JP Morgan decided after Jess Staley, Epstein's top facilitator, left
10:13
that I you know, we're gonna We're.
10:14
Speaker 2: Gonna jetison him. We're not gonna work with him anymore.
10:17
Speaker 1: As if that's gonna save everything, as if that's going
10:19
to make you look better. We're on to you. We
10:22
know the deal, and we're not going to let you
10:25
get off. These disgusting ass financial institutions all got off
10:29
after the financial meltdown.
10:31
Speaker 2: Nobody went to jail.
10:32
Speaker 1: None of these banksters were ever prosecuted, and they just
10:36
went on with their nonsense. Well, now your chickens are
10:41
coming home to roost as well. And all of these
10:43
bankers that had financial ties to Jeffrey Epstein and who
10:46
were dumping money into his accounts and helping him facilitate
10:49
these transactions, every one of them should be smashed with
10:52
Rico indictments. Bank maintained a relationship with Epstein, as well
11:02
as with related individuals and entities, from August twenty and
11:05
thirteen until December of twenty and eighteen, when the bank
11:09
ended its dealings with him after The Miami Herald published
11:12
a series of stories about a federal non prosecution deal
11:16
that Epstein obtained in two thousand and eight in Florida,
11:19
And that's such bullshit. Okay, look, Miami, Look, the Miami
11:24
Herald did good work, there is no doubt. Right, they
11:26
did good work bringing the story to the forefront. But
11:28
for these institutions to say they had no idea what
11:31
was going on until the Miami Herald broke this story,
11:34
it is so ridiculous that they would think that any
11:37
one of us would believe that. When Jeffrey Epstein was
11:41
getting arrested the first time, it was a pretty big
11:43
deal and a much bigger deal to these financial institutions
11:48
that know that they had ties to him. They escaped
11:54
the guillotine the first time around this time they are
11:58
not going to be able to wiggle their way out
12:00
because their lapdogs in the legacy media no longer control
12:07
this narrative. Over time, Deutsche Bank handled more than forty
12:15
accounts related to Epstein and related people and entities. The
12:19
Financial Services Department said that because of the bank's oversight
12:22
failure with Epstein, the bank processed hundreds of transactions totaling
12:27
millions of dollars that at the very least should have
12:30
prompted additional scrutiny in light of mister Epstein's history. So
12:34
basically what they're saying is nobody filed any suspicious activity reports.
12:38
The Finsen database was completely neglected, and Jeffrey Epstein was
12:42
given free reign to launder and funnel money through Deutsche Bank.
12:51
Those transactions include payments to people who were publicly alleged
12:55
to have Epstein's co conspirators in sexually abusing young women
12:59
and settlement totally more than seven million dollars and payments
13:02
to law firms of more than six million dollars for
13:05
what appeared to have been the legal expense of mister
13:08
Epstein and his co conspirators. The Department said, well, isn't
13:12
that nice? The transactions, the payments to people who were
13:16
publicly alleged to have been part of the conspiracy, That
13:19
is rico. Okay, what more do they need? These are
13:24
all rico predicates. All of these people that received money
13:32
from Jeffrey Epstein. I don't know how much more clear
13:34
I need to be need to be smashed with RICO
13:37
indictments yesterday. All of this money is connected, and it
13:41
was all derived from ill gotten gains. Nobody knows where
13:44
Epstein was making his money. He wasn't some mention in
13:46
the stock market. Right, He's not the oracle of Omaha.
13:54
So where did the money come from? We all know
13:58
where it came from. We all know it all came
14:01
from their criminal organization. And then that money was filtered
14:05
through these banks, laundered, washed up and deposited in one
14:09
of these front offshore businesses or one of these banks
14:12
that Epstein opened up with the help of the regulators
14:15
in places like the Virgin Islands. Rico, not Uncle Rico,
14:22
by the way, from Napoleon Dynamite. I am talking the Rico.
14:27
Can we get some police. Other payments were made to
14:31
Russian models, payments for women's school tuition, hotel and rent expenses, and,
14:35
consistent with public allegations of prior wrongdoing, payments directly to
14:40
numerous women with Eastern European surnames according to the Department. Now,
14:45
I hope that all of these Eastern European women that
14:48
were abused by him have some sort of way to
14:52
reach out and get involved in the compensation fund, because
14:56
these are the no named women.
14:57
Speaker 2: I'm always talking about. Whatever happened to these where did
15:00
they go? How did their lives end up?
15:04
Speaker 1: And now that there's a little a little light at
15:07
the end of the tunnel for the survivors, and there's
15:10
a couple of bucks come in their way. I think
15:12
that these unnamed girls should should get a little peace
15:16
right because what they went through I don't I can't
15:19
even begin to try and understand. Imagine coming from one
15:24
of these war torn Eastern European countries and you come
15:26
to America and you think everything's going to be good,
15:29
and you have this great opportunity to become a model
15:32
and work with some of these agencies, and you have
15:34
an agent now, and you're going to be able to
15:36
send money back to your family. And then you get
15:39
to America, the shining City on the hill, and you're
15:44
put into a little apartment where you sleep on the floor,
15:47
and if you don't go out and turn tricks for
15:49
these guys, you don't get any money. And all of
15:52
those dreams and all of those aspirations crushed under the
15:58
heel of this sick discuss sting pervert Jeffrey Epstein and
16:02
his pal Guilay Maxwell, and all of these European girls,
16:08
the forgotten girls as I like to call them, should
16:11
come forward and get themselves involved in this settlement process
16:15
because they deserve it as well. All noted were Epstein's
16:20
periodic suspicious cash withdrawals in total more than eighty eight
16:24
hundred thousand dollars over approximately four years. The Department said,
16:30
now all of those transactions should be marked down on
16:33
a CTR A title thirty one CTR. Anything over ten
16:36
thousand dollars and one cents must be must be reported,
16:43
no if, ends or butts. I don't care how rich
16:45
you are, I don't care how powerful you are. When
16:48
you reach the threshold, that amount must be reported. And
16:52
obviously all of these transactions went under the table. All
16:57
of these transactions occurred in the months and years after
17:00
August twenty thirteen, when, in preparation for Epstein's accounts being
17:04
shifted to Deutsche Bank, a junior relationship coordinator on the
17:07
Epstein account prepared a memorandum for a relationship manager at
17:11
the bank to be sent to the bank's then cohad
17:14
of the Wealth manage Wealth Management America's Group and the
17:18
chiefs Operating officer of the Wealth Management America's unit to
17:22
consent order notes. So all of those people who okay this,
17:27
they're all in big trouble. Every one of these people
17:30
need to be investigated. Do they have any personal ties
17:33
to Epstein? Was Epstein funneling money to them on the side,
17:36
were they catching any loot on the come up? If
17:39
Epstein was steering business their direction, these are all questions
17:42
that must be asked. That memo contained information about Epstein's
17:48
prior state sex crime case in Florida, noting he was
17:51
charged with soliciting an underage prostitute in two thousand and seven,
17:55
and that he served thirteen months of his eighteen month sentence,
17:58
and that Epstein was accused of paying young women for
18:01
massages in his Florida home. The consent order said. It
18:05
also highlights that mister Epstein was involved in seventeen out
18:08
of court civil settlements related to his conduct in the
18:11
two thousand and seven conviction, the consent order said of
18:14
the memo. In an email to the two bank executives
18:17
who included the memorandum as an attachment, the relationship manager
18:21
noted how lucrative the relationship could be, stating estimated flows
18:26
of one hundred to three hundred million over time, possibly more,
18:29
with revenue of two to four million annually over time.
18:32
The consent order said, again, it's all about money for
18:35
these people. These sick bastards, these banking institutions, these banksters,
18:39
they don't care about people, They don't care about human beings.
18:42
They certainly don't care about survivors. So if anybody is
18:46
shocked that these banksters would be involved with this sort
18:49
of shit, well, I'm sorry that the red pill had
18:52
to be so rough for you, because we are surrounded
18:56
by evil, evil people folks.
18:58
Speaker 2: Everywhere we turn.
19:01
Speaker 1: In the same email, the bank's relationship manager proposed that
19:05
all Epstein related accounts be for entities affiliated with mister Epstein,
19:10
not personal accounts, the consent order noted. The order noted
19:14
that banks are required to have anti money laundering controls
19:17
in place, and that they also required to monitor their
19:20
customers to prevent them from facilitating criminal activity. They did
19:25
none of that. The oversight when it comes to these
19:27
personal banking divisions is lacks, basically non existent, because what's
19:33
going on is everybody's a bazillion trillionaire and they're all
19:36
wheeling and dealing, and these managers who are in control
19:39
of these accounts, like Jess Staley, all they care about
19:43
is stacking another couple of million in their bankroll. They
19:46
don't care about being morally correct. They don't care about
19:50
being compassionate to survivors or to the people that Epstein abuse.
19:54
No way, It's all about those dollars. State Financial servi
20:00
As Superintendent Linda Lacewell said in a prepared statement that
20:04
in each of the cases that are being resolved today,
20:06
Deutsche Bank failed to adequately monitor the activity of customers
20:11
that the bank itself deemed to be high risk. In
20:13
the case of Jeffrey Epstein, in particular, despite knowing mister
20:17
Epstein's terrible criminal history, the bank's inexcusable failed to detect,
20:22
inexcusably failed to detect or prevent millions of dollars of
20:26
suspicious transactions. Lacewell said, this is one hundred and fifty
20:30
million is not enough. They got to be slapped with
20:32
much more stringent penalties. The State Financial Services Department said
20:39
it concluded that Deutsche Bank failed to monitor the activities
20:42
of their bank clients dance Estonia and FBMY with respect
20:47
to their correspondent and dollar clearing business. Dollar clearing business
20:51
huh hmm, sounds like codeword for washing money. The department
20:57
noted that dance Kestonia is at the center of one
20:59
of the the world's largest money laundering scandals and had
21:02
control failures that led to large amounts of money being
21:05
transferred on behalf of Russian oligarchs. Deutsche Bank is so
21:09
wrapped up with so much dirty money from so many
21:13
corners of the world that it's not even funny. We
21:17
could do a whole entire day of podcasts on Deutsche
21:19
Bank and their financial crimes. Over the course of the
21:24
year's long relationship between Deutsche Bank and Dance Gastonia, Deutsche
21:28
Bank was repeatedly put on notice of these failings and
21:32
of the fact that few improvements were undertaken by dance Kestonia.
21:35
The department said, despite the fact that deutsch Bank assigned
21:39
Estonia its highest possible risk grating, Deutsche Bank failed to
21:42
take appropriate action to prevent dance Kestonia from transferring billions
21:47
of dollars of suspicious transactions through Deutsche Bank accounts in
21:51
New York. Wow, this is so significant. This is such
21:57
an absolute shit show. The regulator also said that Deutsche
22:04
Bank's relationship with FBMY representatives of similar failure to act
22:09
on red flags from a high risk client that required
22:13
annual enhanced anti money laundering checks. There you go, folks,
22:19
right there for you to see yourself. They're calling it
22:22
what it is here. It's buried a little bit in
22:23
the article, but it's a money laundering scheme. It is
22:27
most certainly that despite these checks, there was little evidence
22:31
that FBMEME improved the quality of its controls over several years,
22:36
the Financial Services Department, said. Deutsche Bank CEO Christian Sewing,
22:41
in an internal communication to all bank staff about the settlement, said,
22:45
today serves as a reminder of how vigilant we must remain.
22:49
Oh yeah, sure, now, let's remain vigilant. Nobody's buying it.
22:53
Deutsche Bank is on the hook and you're not gonna
22:56
wiggle off this time. And not only marks the anniverse
23:00
of our compete to win strategy, but also our settlement
23:03
just announced with the New York Department of Financial Services
23:06
resolving investigations into our controls and processes in the fight
23:10
against financial crime. Sewing said, oh boy, if you think
23:14
that this is over, mister Suing, you are not paying attention.
23:18
He noted that the settlements cover three issues, Dance Bank,
23:22
the Federal Bank of the Middle East, and our former
23:24
business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein onboarding the ladders at the
23:28
latter as a client in twenty thirteen was a critical
23:32
mistake and should never have happened. The CEO said, Hindsight's
23:35
twenty twenty. My man, that's not good enough for me.
23:38
I certainly will never do any business with your institution,
23:41
nor will I do business with Barclays. In fact, I
23:45
like to use local federal credit unions at this point,
23:47
because every one of these banks is absolutely and utterly corrupt.
23:54
A deutsch Bank spokesman said, we acknowledge our error of
23:57
onboarding Epstein in twenty thirteen and the weaknesses in our processes,
24:02
and have learned from our mistakes and shortcomings. The spokesman
24:06
said that immediately after Epstein's arrest on child sex trafficking
24:09
charges in July twenty nineteen, the bank contacted law enforcement
24:13
and offered our full assistance with their investigation. Why did
24:17
you even take them on as a client in twenty thirteen.
24:20
You knew what he was, you knew what he did,
24:22
and you took him on anyway. Nice try backtracking here,
24:26
but we're not gonna let it slide. Questions must be
24:30
asked and questions must be answered. We have been fully
24:36
transparent and have addressed these matters with our regulator, adjusted
24:39
our risk tolerance, and systematically tackled the issues. The spokesman said, Look,
24:46
your internal investigations are garbage, Okay, point blank period. Nobody
24:51
believes you're gonna stringently investigate yourself.
24:53
Speaker 2: Stop it.
24:55
Speaker 1: Epstein, sixty six, died last August in a federal jail
24:59
in Manhattan. What authorities ruled was a suicide by hanging
25:03
after being denied bell in his criminal case, where he
25:06
was charged with child trafficking and conspiracy to commit child
25:10
sex trafficking. The multi millionaire pedophile investor was a former
25:15
friend of Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, as well
25:18
as Britain's Prince Andrew. And that's just the beginning of it.
25:25
With the friends, right, Jeffrey Epstein had quite the collection
25:31
of friends, all the pictures on the walls, all the
25:34
people he hung out with, the people on his plane,
25:37
the people at his island, the people in New Mexico, etc.
25:42
Speaker 2: Etc. He also was a registered sex.
25:46
Speaker 1: Offender, pleaded guilty to Florida state charges in two thousand
25:50
and eight, one of which was related to paying for
25:52
sexual services from an underage girl. Epstein served thirteen months
25:56
in jail in that case, a bit much of the
25:58
time was free on work relief. Last week, Maxwell was
26:02
arrested on federal charges while hold up at a.
26:04
Speaker 2: One million dollar getaway in New Hampshire.
26:07
Speaker 1: Prosecutors in New York say that in the mid nineties,
26:10
Maxwell helped Epstein get access to and groom underage girls
26:14
so that they could be sexually abused by him and
26:16
sometimes with her participation. And we know she was very
26:20
much involved in that. We know she abused a lot
26:23
of girls. We know what she did to Annie. And
26:26
she's not going to be able to slither off of
26:28
this one. She's not going to be able to get
26:30
out of this one. She's not going to be able
26:32
to talk her way out of this because guess what,
26:35
Gilane Maxwell is never going to see the light of
26:38
day again. I know other people feel differently, et cetera,
26:42
et cetera, But personally, I think that Gilane Maxwell was
26:47
used as an asset by the intelligence agencies. She was
26:52
burned after the whole entire situation with Epstein the second
26:55
time around, and now she has been abandoned and discarded
27:00
to her fate. That's what I believe, and I don't
27:05
think she doesn't have the pull anymore to get out,
27:08
so I believe that she will spend the rest of
27:11
her life behind bars. Maxwell fifty eight was transported by
27:20
authorities to New York City. Her first court appearance in
27:23
Manhattan Federal Court is set for July fourteenth. She is
27:28
currently being held in a federal jail in Brooklyn, pending
27:31
a decision on whether she should be granted BELL. Prosecutors
27:34
want are held without Belle, calling her an extreme flight risk,
27:38
and for sure an extreme flight risk, she has connections
27:41
all over the world. She should not be let out
27:43
of jail, She should not get BELL. She should be
27:46
forced to sit in there and rot because she is
27:52
a danger to the community. She is a danger as
27:55
a flight risk, and she has spent way too many
27:58
days living the high life. It is now time that
28:02
she begins to understand that that part of her life
28:06
is over and the new part of her life, the
28:11
one that well includes a jumpsuit and a jail cell
28:16
and some solitary confinement.
28:18
Speaker 2: That part of her life has just begun.
28:23
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
28:25
at Bobby Kapucci at ProtonMail dot com. That's Bobby c
28:29

28:38
Speaker 2: Inside of the.
28:39
Speaker 1: Discription, what's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
28:46
On today's episode, we're going to talk a little bit
28:49
more about the US Virgin Islands and the various lawsuits
28:54
that are making their way through the system as we speak.
28:57
And today's article from Inside Edition is pivoting away from
29:01
the JP Morgan conversation and focusing on the Deutsche Bank suit.
29:07
So let's get into this article from Inside Edition and
29:11
let's see what the author, Chris Spargo, has come up
29:15
with headline Jeffrey Epstein rape victim who got seven point
29:20
four million dollars after fifteen years of abuse gets trial
29:24
date in Deutsche Bank suit And once again the author
29:28
of this article is Chris Spargo. Details of the woman's settlement,
29:33
as well as the document she had to sign in
29:35
order to receive that money, have been made public due
29:39
to her ongoing lawsuit against Deutsche Bank. The estate of
29:42
Jeffrey Epstein paid seven point four million dollars to one
29:46
of the pedophiles survivors, according to court documents obtained by
29:51
Inside Digital details of the women's settlement with Epstein's estate,
29:56
as well as the document she had to sign in
29:58
order to receive that money, have been made public due
30:01
to her ongoing lawsuit against Deutsche Bank. The woman, identified
30:06
as Jane Doe Number one in court papers, claims in
30:10
her complaint that Deutsche Bank knowingly benefited from participating in
30:14
a sex trafficking venture, and I don't think there's any
30:17
doubt at this point that Epstein, in his behavior, was
30:21
one of the worst kept secrets within the financial sector.
30:24
Deutsche Bank, for their part, denies Jane Doe's allegations and
30:29
any wrongdoing. A trial date has now been set for September,
30:33
and we also know that in October there is the
30:36
trial date for JP Morgan, So we're going to have
30:40
consecutive months, it looks like anyway, with some new information
30:44
coming out from the start of these trials, from two
30:48
thousand and three, when Doe was first introduced to Epstein
30:52
and through her eventual separation from Epstein and his organization
30:56
fifteen years later, Epstein and his co conspirators used extreme measures
31:01
of force, fraud, and coercion to cause Jane Doe Number
31:05
one to engage in commercial sex and to remain obedient
31:09
to the organization. Doe alleges in a one hundred and
31:13
sixty three page complaint, having been conditioned that the sexual
31:17
abuse was normal, and knowing that everyone surrounding Epstein, including accountants, lawyers, bankers,
31:23
and other people, were aware of the sex abuse, Jane
31:27
Doe number one was coerced into a cult like life
31:30
controlled by Epstein and others to be sexually abused and
31:34
sexually trafficked. And once again, if you put the pieces together,
31:38
I think it's relatively obvious who Jane Doe number one
31:41
might be here. And if that is the case, and
31:44
it is who I think it is, I don't see
31:46
how the banks are going to wiggle out of this one.
31:49
And that's because of all of the intimate knowledge this
31:51
person would have of the inner workings of Jeffrey Epstein's
31:55
criminal enterprise. Now think about it. You're purchased from your
31:59
parents by Jean Luke Brunel as the middleman. Then you're
32:03
brought to America and sold to Jeffrey Epstein, and then
32:06
from there the grooming process begins, and then from that
32:10
it turns into the normalization process, right like she says
32:13
here and when you have all of society's heavy hitters
32:16
hanging out down at Epstein's house and nobody is saying
32:19
that this shit is wrong, and not only that, but
32:22
also engaging in it with Epstein. Some of these folks,
32:25
what's a little fourteen year old kid who has sold
32:27
to Jeffrey Epstein supposed to think? Of course, they're going
32:30
to think what they're doing is normal, And that once
32:33
again brings in the focus just how dangerous enabling somebody
32:37
like Jeffrey Epstein is. The more these movers and shakers
32:40
validated Jeffrey Epstein's existence, the easier it was for him
32:44
to carry out his bullshit. It's pretty clear what happened here. Finally,
32:49
after being sexually abused, in trafficked by Epstein for fifteen years,
32:53
Do says she made her escape in twenty eighteen. She
32:57
later alleges that in those years under epstein control, the
33:00
pedophile committed the following sexual offenses sexual misconduct as Epstein
33:07
engaged in sexual intercourse with Jane Doe without her consent. Remember,
33:11
she was purchased fourteen years old. Rape in the first
33:15
degree as Epstein engaged in sexual intercourse with Jane Doe
33:19
by forcible compulsion, criminal sexual act in the first degree,
33:23
as Epstein engaged in oral sexual conduct with Jane Doe
33:28
by forcible compulsion, forcible touching, as Epstein intentionally and for
33:34
no legitimate purpose, forcibly sexually touched Jane Doe for the
33:38
purpose of degrading or abusing her, or for the purpose
33:41
of gratifying his own sexual desire, sexual abuse in the
33:46
third degree, as Epstein inserted a foreign object in the
33:50
vagina of Jane Doe by forcible compulsion, Aggravated sexual assault
33:55
in the first degree, as Epstein inserted a foreign object
33:58
in Jane Doe's vagin causing physical injury by forcible compulsion.
34:04
And all of this, remember, was happening while she was
34:08
basically a slave of Epstein. And when we say that
34:11
about this person, we mean it. When you're bought by
34:15
somebody at fourteen years old and brought to a different
34:18
country and put into this environment where all of this
34:21
bullshit is normalized, what else should we call you? In
34:25
the documents, Doe does not say how old she was
34:28
when she met Epstein, nor does she explain how she
34:32
made her escape. She sought a settlement from the victim's
34:35
compensation fund after Epstein's death. Well, that sounds like a
34:38
no brainer. If she was abused from the time she
34:41
was fourteen years old and purchased by this sick bastard
34:44
in his pal Jean Luke Brunel, I would think that
34:47
whatever money she got is probably not enough. Geordana Feldman,
34:53
the administrator of the fund, said in an August twenty
34:56
twenty one press release that the fund paid one hundred
34:59
and twenty one million dollar to more than one hundred
35:02
and thirty five victims, a little more than one million
35:05
dollars per Meanwhile, the government got the lion's share of
35:09
all of this with taxes. It had previously been revealed
35:13
in court during the federal trial of Glenn Maxwell that
35:17
one victim received one point five million dollars from the fund,
35:21
and a second witness testifying against Epstein's British born enabler,
35:25
received a five million dollar settlement. In exchange for their settlements,
35:29
the victims were required to sign a five page document.
35:33
Inside Edition Digital obtained that document, which states that in
35:37
consideration of the settlement amount, the individual releases and forever
35:42
discharges any current and former principles officers, directors, stockholders, managers, members, partners,
35:51
limited partners, trustees, beneficiaries, administrators, agents, employees, attorneys, predecessors, success
36:00
assigns and affiliates, and any entities or individuals who are,
36:06
have or ever been engaged by, whether as independent contractors
36:10
or otherwise employed by, or worked in any capacity for,
36:15
Jeffrey E. Epstein and or the Epstein estate, from any
36:19
and all claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, suits, debts, dues,
36:25
sums of money, accounts, variances, trespasses, damages, and judgments, whether
36:31
sounding and equity, tort, common law, contract, statute, regulation, or otherwise,
36:37
and whether now existing hereafter existing or revived in the future,
36:42
whatsoever in law, admiralty, equity, or otherwise, including without limitation,
36:49
any and all claims or causes of action that arise
36:52
or may arise from, or which otherwise concern acts of
36:56
sexual abuse or sex trafficked by mister Epstein. Once signed,
37:01
the full settlement amount would be wired to the claimant
37:04
within fifteen days. So basically, take your few pennies and
37:07
shut up the whole. Entire settlement fund turned out to
37:11
be not so great of an idea in my opinion. Now,
37:14
of course, people getting made whole and getting taken care
37:18
of as far as financially for the abuse they suffered
37:22
is something that should have been done a long time ago.
37:26
But with hindsight as our guide, it certainly looks like
37:29
this fund was set up with the hope that after
37:32
these payments were paid out, that all of this would
37:34
go away. And like usual, their hope was meaning people
37:39
like Epstein and the people that were participating in Epstein's
37:42
criminal enterprise and enabling it. They figured, throw a few
37:46
dollars at this and it's all going to go away,
37:49
because that's what history tells us. Rich people can throw
37:52
money out of problem and it goes away. And that's
37:55
been the favorite strategy for anybody involved with Jeffrey Epstein
37:59
and Jeffrey Epstein himself, and we saw it with this fund.
38:02
That's what it was. The estate knew. The estate knew
38:05
that they were in jeopardy, they were exposed, so setting
38:08
the fund up was a good idea for them. And
38:12
once again, just to reiterate, how is it okay that
38:15
the government got the lion's share of that money? Deutsche
38:19
Bank unsuccessfully tried to use this settlement agreement to dismiss
38:23
the case against them in court plaintiff's claims are released
38:27
by the April twenty eighth, twenty twenty two General Release
38:30
end Settlement agreement that plaintiff entered into with the Epstein Estate,
38:35
which contains a broad release of any and all sex claims,
38:39
including those related to acts of sexual abuse or sex
38:42
trafficking by Epstein, against not only Epstein and his the State,
38:47
but also against a wide array of other individuals and entities,
38:51
including any entity that was ever engaged by or worked
38:55
in any capacity for Epstein. Deutsche Bank writes as an
38:59
affirmative defense in their response to Doe's complaint. In exchange
39:03
for giving that broad release, plaintiff received a substantial settlement
39:07
payment from the Epstein Estate. So, in other words, if
39:10
you want to be cynical about it, the whole entire
39:13
settlement fund was set up to protect Jeffrey Epstein's buddies,
39:17
to protect people like this. The judge ultimately agreed to
39:21
dismiss eight of the twelve counts, but four of the
39:24
claims asserted by Doe are still part of the case.
39:28
The claim that the defendants knowingly benefited from participating in
39:32
a sex trafficking venture. The claim that the defendant obstructed
39:36
enforcement of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, the claim that
39:40
the defendants negligently failed to exercise reasonable care to prevent
39:44
physical harm, the claim that the defendants negligently failed to
39:48
exercise reasonable care as a banking institution providing non routine banking.
39:55
The judge also weighed in on how much legal protection
39:58
in the settlement agreement signed by Doe affords Deutsche Bank.
40:02
Deutsche Bank also argues that the settlement agreement was intended
40:06
to resolve a broad class of claims potentially asserted by
40:11
dB Jane Doe, including claims against Deutsche Bank. Judge Jed
40:15
ray Koff wrote in his opinion allowing the case to
40:19
proceed in trial in September, but this argument is sheer
40:23
speculation at best, and hardly sufficient to meet the high
40:26
standard of evidence third party beneficiary status. Among the counts
40:32
dismissed by the court were intentional infliction of emotional distress,
40:37
participating in a sex trafficking venture, RICO violations, and aiding
40:42
a betting and inducing a sex trafficking venture. So of
40:46
course they dropped the RICO right. We can't have RICO
40:48
in this case at all, not even a cent of it.
40:51
Not even one little whiff of Rico. But Rico's good
40:54
enough for Keith Rayniery. Rico's good enough for R. Kelly,
40:58
but not Jeffrey Epstein. What is the difference between Jeffrey Epstein, R.
41:04
Kelly and Keith Rayniery. They're all rich, right, they all
41:07
have a bunch of dough. But the one thing that
41:09
Epstein has that the other two knuckleheads couldn't even dream
41:12
of is political power, political connections, and of course protection.
41:19
So it really shouldn't be a shock that we've never
41:21
seen a real Rico case or Rico statutes used when
41:25
it comes to Epstein.
41:26
Speaker 2: But we see it used with everybody else.
41:29
Speaker 1: In twenty twenty, Deutsche Bank, is part of their settlement agreement,
41:32
agreed to pay one hundred and fifty million dollars fine
41:35
for its dealings with Epstein between twenty thirteen and twenty eighteen,
41:40
after an investigation by the New York Department of Financial
41:43
Services alleged that bankers overlooked multiple red flags about the
41:48
pedophiles past and failed to properly monitor how his funds
41:52
were being distributed. A regulator claimed that very few problematic
41:57
transactions were ever questioned, and evil when they were, they
42:01
were usually cleared without satisfactory explanation. In that twenty twenty report,
42:06
which was obtained by Inside edition Digital. Deutsche Bank did
42:11
not respond to Inside Digital's request for comment about the
42:15
allegations made by Jane Doe in court filings. Well, we
42:19
all know that Deutsche Bank is the preferred destination for
42:22
scumbags worldwide. So is it a shock that they were
42:26
balling out with Jeffrey Epstein profident making a bunch of dough,
42:29
all the while piggybacking on Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise.
42:34
I mean, it's not a shock to me. You know
42:36
what would be a shock to me if these financial
42:39
institutions didn't have these kind of allegations against them, because
42:43
they're filled with absolute scumbags, and the people at the
42:46
very top. When we're talking about these financial institutions, they
42:50
don't care about anybody. You really think they care about
42:53
you or are you feeding your family? Or are you
42:56
paying your bills? They don't give one single shit, and
42:59
they continue with the behavior time and time again because
43:02
there's never ever any real repercussions. It's always some kind
43:07
of financial fine, a slap on the wrist, and the
43:10
same old story gets told over and over again, and
43:13
we're gonna see the same thing here. Nobody's gonna get
43:16
in trouble as far as legally, nobody's gonna do prison time. Oh,
43:20
we'll get some apologies and we'll hear about how they're
43:22
gonna fix their internal workings and make sure this never
43:26
happens again. But the reality is inside of the financial
43:30
sector right now as we speak, many, many people as
43:34
scummy or scummier than Jeffrey Epstein are up to the
43:37
very same things that Jeffrey Epstein was up to, And
43:41
these financial institutions are right on board once again, going
43:45
along for the ride. All right, folks, that's gonna do
43:49
it for this one. All of the information that goes
43:51
with the episode can be found in the description box.
