- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's Insight. Tomorrow's headline march them up seven wo r Hey,
- 0:08Speaker 1: It's Tuesday. Tomorrow night the Knicks. We'll play hopefully they'll win.
- 0:12Speaker 1: At Madison Square Garden. Tom Holman has said he is
- 0:16Speaker 1: going to Kathy hokeel Crazy Mom Donnie. They want this
- 0:21Speaker 1: to be the most sanctuary of sanctuary cities, so he's
- 0:24Speaker 1: going to surge ICE. You're going to see more ICE
- 0:28Speaker 1: agents in New York than every before, which is good
- 0:29Speaker 1: because it's law enforcement on the street. It's more protection
- 0:33Speaker 1: for everybody, although it does bring out the crazies. Speaking
- 0:36Speaker 1: to Crazy Mom Donnie.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I want to be very clear about the fact that
- 0:41Speaker 2: I believe that ice raids are cruel, They're inhumane. They
- 0:44Speaker 2: do nothing to serve in the interest of public safety.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I've shared that directly with the President. I've shared that
- 0:49Speaker 2: in public now.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Again he's a left wing Democrat. They don't believe in science.
- 0:55Speaker 1: They never follow the science. If you study the science,
- 0:59Speaker 1: if you get rid of these legal criminals all over
- 1:01Speaker 1: the street, illegal aliens that have come here and started
- 1:03Speaker 1: to commit crimes, if you get them off the street,
- 1:06Speaker 1: it is safer. That's the science. We've tested this fifty
- 1:09Speaker 1: million times and it always works. Now, of course, if
- 1:12Speaker 1: you have more law enforcement, you get less crime, you
- 1:16Speaker 1: get less trouble. That's simply the science. But these Democrats
- 1:19Speaker 1: don't believe in the science. They don't follow it. He
- 1:22Speaker 1: is so anti Ice. Actually he's the one that's cruel.
- 1:26Speaker 1: But again, can't you can't explain this to them. He's
- 1:29Speaker 1: the one that's cruel. I mean, we had a really
- 1:31Speaker 1: good immigration system. If you wanted to immigrate to America,
- 1:35Speaker 1: you'd come in through Ellis Island, was very orderly and nice.
- 1:38Speaker 1: The mom donnie, left wing Democrat method of you swim
- 1:42Speaker 1: across the rio grand you climb over a fence, you
- 1:45Speaker 1: come in illegally. It's a cruel way to have people
- 1:48Speaker 1: come into the country. It's not right.
- 1:50Speaker 2: But mom Donnie, I also do believe that ICE as
- 1:52Speaker 2: an entity is one that should be abolished and that
- 1:54Speaker 2: we should return to an immigration system that has more
- 1:57Speaker 2: humanity at the heart of it.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Again, it's not humane to have people break in, sneak in,
- 2:06Speaker 1: as they say, live in the shadows. Abolish ICE. It's
- 2:10Speaker 1: a law enforcement agency. See, if we're up to them,
- 2:12Speaker 1: there'd be no law enforcement. Everybody would just run around
- 2:16Speaker 1: doing whatever the hell. They want total chaos, and they
- 2:19Speaker 1: like these socialists love that total chaos because then you demand,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you know, if we're up to them, they just hand
- 2:27Speaker 1: your drugs and pot and you just stay home smoke
- 2:30Speaker 1: that all day, depend on the government for everything. To them,
- 2:33Speaker 1: that's a perfect world. They really like that. So hey,
- 2:38Speaker 1: Elon Musk. On Friday, his new stock is new IPO
- 2:43Speaker 1: SpaceX will debut. It will go crazy. Now here's another
- 2:49Speaker 1: thing to remember. When this stock hits the market, he
- 2:53Speaker 1: will become the first trillionaire ever in the world. He
- 2:59Speaker 1: will be a trick billionaire by Friday night. Now, think
- 3:03Speaker 1: about what that means. A trillionaire. You know how Mom,
- 3:07Speaker 1: Donnie and Bernie Sanders, these billionaires, they're gonna have to
- 3:10Speaker 1: change these trillionaires. A trillionaire, think about that means you're
- 3:17Speaker 1: a trillionaire. Let's say you had a hole in your
- 3:20Speaker 1: pants pocket nine hundred billion fell out and you lost
- 3:24Speaker 1: it with us right down the sewer, gone forever. You
- 3:27Speaker 1: wouldn't even care. You'd have a hundred billion left. A trillionaire.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You know, if you just if you put a billion
- 3:35Speaker 1: dollars invested correctly, you'd make yourself like I don't know.
- 3:42Speaker 1: One hundred one hundred billion a year, one hundred millionaire
- 3:45Speaker 1: is just an interest. You couldn't spend it. If you tried,
- 3:48Speaker 1: you couldn't. There's nothing you could do to no matter
- 3:50Speaker 1: how hard you tried to spend that money, you couldn't
- 3:53Speaker 1: do it. So that'll happen on Friday. Hey, credit to
- 3:56Speaker 1: Elon Musk. He's also doing a great public service. You know,
- 4:00Speaker 1: they got these crazy left wing attack sites, and the
- 4:03Speaker 1: worst of them was this thing called Media Matters. You
- 4:06Speaker 1: don't hear about it anymore, but if you go back
- 4:08Speaker 1: twenty years ago, it was a vicious organization, Media Matters
- 4:12Speaker 1: for America, Media Matters, and they would sit there and
- 4:17Speaker 1: listen to anything conservative on radio, on TV. They would
- 4:21Speaker 1: record it. They would look for anything they could fact check.
- 4:25Speaker 1: They would come after you. They would launch his at
- 4:28Speaker 1: tax and he was a terrible, terrible, awful site. Hillary
- 4:31Speaker 1: Clinton was one of the founders's. A bunch of left
- 4:34Speaker 1: wing Soros types funded it. But Elon Musk started to
- 4:37Speaker 1: go after them about two years ago, massive lawsuits, spending
- 4:42Speaker 1: a fortune suing the hell out of them. Well, he's
- 4:44Speaker 1: just about bankrupted them. They just had another round of layoffs.
- 4:47Speaker 1: They should be out of business by the by the
- 4:50Speaker 1: end of the year. He's really reduced the payroll there
- 4:52Speaker 1: because he's just drained their money. It's a horrible organization
- 4:56Speaker 1: and good for him for finally doing something about it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Hey Scott Pelly, Oh, I love this guy. I just
- 5:04Speaker 1: love watching the interviews of Scott Pelly. He is such
- 5:09Speaker 1: a pompous man. I'm Scott Pelly, and he talks like
- 5:13Speaker 1: this in the interviews, and he's so serious. I've never
- 5:18Speaker 1: seen a guy take himself so seriously. Does this New
- 5:21Speaker 1: York Times interview? It's so cringe worthy. Take a listen
- 5:24Speaker 1: to some of this. Let me see when I saw.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Nick Bilton's email and then saw him reading to my
- 5:34Speaker 3: broken hearted people off his phone.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Now, what's wrong with that? I still understand what his
- 5:41Speaker 1: problem is. He had a something you want to say
- 5:45Speaker 1: to the town hall meeting, and a lot of times
- 5:48Speaker 1: a guy will have it written out and people read
- 5:51Speaker 1: it off their phone. People at weddings they do a toast,
- 5:56Speaker 1: they read it off their phone. What is wrong with that?
- 5:58Speaker 1: He read it all his phone. You know, every company
- 6:04Speaker 1: I've ever worked at, they fire people everywhere. And if
- 6:08Speaker 1: you're in the news business is, Howie Carr said, the
- 6:11Speaker 1: kill rate is higher than the mob. People get fired
- 6:13Speaker 1: all the time.
- 6:17Speaker 3: I felt that somebody had to stand up for the broadcast,
- 6:20Speaker 3: not just the broadcast, but the people of people. There
- 6:25Speaker 3: are people in that room who go to war zones
- 6:27Speaker 3: when they are pregnant.
- 6:31Speaker 1: He's crying. Now, what the hell is he talking about.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I don't know any news organization that is sending a
- 6:41Speaker 1: pregnant woman to a war zoe. He is crazy. What
- 6:45Speaker 1: a pompous asked this guy is?
- 6:52Speaker 3: Newsrooms are sort of like the military or the police,
- 6:55Speaker 3: So they're not the beautiful people at the FD and
- 6:59Speaker 3: WYE on the street. It is a life threatening job
- 7:05Speaker 3: in many what a pompous ask?
- 7:08Speaker 1: Can you imagine being a fireman running into a burning building?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Listen to this pompous blowhard. You ever see where they work.
- 7:18Speaker 1: You've probably passed the CBS building over there on twelfth
- 7:23Speaker 1: Avenue in fifty seventh, that big, long building. You think, wow,
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's not the fanciest. Look, they don't work there. That's
- 7:30Speaker 1: where the studios are and the crew. But the Scott
- 7:33Speaker 1: Pelley sixty minutes they work across the street in that luxurious,
- 7:37Speaker 1: beautiful skyscraper. The one with the BMW dealership is that's
- 7:41Speaker 1: where they work, and they're like fire police. You ever
- 7:44Speaker 1: see where the police work. It's not so fancy. This
- 7:49Speaker 1: guy's in a luxurious, beautiful office and he's just like
- 7:53Speaker 1: the fire department. What as.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And very strong emotional bonds are found are developed in
- 8:06Speaker 3: that kind of setting. And to have people running CBS
- 8:12Speaker 3: News who don't know that, never felt that, and don't
- 8:19Speaker 3: the hell's he.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Talking about this? Barry Weiss comes from New York Times.
- 8:22Speaker 1: She worked in a newsroom. Hey, we got a newsroom
- 8:24Speaker 1: right over there. We went down the hall, we went
- 8:26Speaker 1: over here. I've been in a million newsrooms. They're not
- 8:29Speaker 1: the close knit, bonded family. Half of them hate each other.
- 8:34Speaker 1: People get fired all the time from every newsroom over there.
- 8:37Speaker 1: They got fired a few people over the last few years.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It's not that close knit.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Ure standard is a tragedy. I never expected to see,
- 8:48Speaker 3: Oh my.
- 8:48Speaker 1: God, what a pop has blowhard? This guy is. He
- 8:53Speaker 1: was spotted by the way for the first time since
- 8:55Speaker 1: all this walking around Greenwich, Connecticut. He's a Greenwich red.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I didn't know that. I'd spent a lot of weekends
- 9:02Speaker 1: in Greenwich I've never seen this guy. Never saw him
- 9:05Speaker 1: at Jay House, never saw him at the Prime, never
- 9:08Speaker 1: saw him out. And of course I hear he was
- 9:11Speaker 1: at a bar, but they asked him to leave because
- 9:14Speaker 1: they wanted to start happy hour. I imagine this glovie.
- 9:21Speaker 1: He was photographed by the New York Post walking around
- 9:23Speaker 1: Old Greenwich in the village there. Okay, that's a little
- 9:26Speaker 1: smaller village there. He had lived in Derry Inn for years,
- 9:33Speaker 1: but there he was walking around. He's got dark glasses
- 9:37Speaker 1: on in case anybody recognizes him. Remember he said, the
- 9:42Speaker 1: broadcast is finished. They're firing everywhere. The whole family's wiped out. Well,
- 9:46Speaker 1: from what I'm seeing here, Leslie Stall just resigned, Bill
- 9:49Speaker 1: Whittaker just re signed. John Wartime resigned. They're staying with
- 9:55Speaker 1: the broadcast. Everything is fine. I give you a good
- 9:57Speaker 1: tip if you want to keep your don't go into
- 10:01Speaker 1: the meeting the town hall, in front of everybody and
- 10:04Speaker 1: tell the boss he's incompetent, he's disgusting. In fact, you
- 10:07Speaker 1: know what Pelly said in front of everybody. He actually
- 10:12Speaker 1: said to this new guy, why would you take this
- 10:15Speaker 1: job knowing you will not be welcome by anybody? What
- 10:21Speaker 1: kind of thing is that to say, First of all,
- 10:23Speaker 1: it's a newsroom. You ever see how these people act.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I guarantee you half of them are kissing this guy's
- 10:27Speaker 1: rear end immediately trying to butter them up. But if
- 10:31Speaker 1: you talk like this, you know it's twenty twenty six.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Now get a younger guy there. You don't need a
- 10:38Speaker 1: guy who is going to talk like this. It doesn't
- 10:42Speaker 1: work in twenty twenty six. Get rid of him. So far,
- 10:47Speaker 1: nobody has hired him. I can't imagine anybody's gonna want
- 10:50Speaker 1: to hire this guy. But if you can go see
- 10:53Speaker 1: the video of the New York Times interview, you gotta
- 10:56Speaker 1: watch it. It is so laughable. He is just such
- 10:59Speaker 1: a pompous idiot. Hey remember Trump, Uh, President Trump walked
- 11:06Speaker 1: out on the Meet the Press interview and he said,
- 11:09Speaker 1: you know you're crooked, you're a liar, you're this and
- 11:13Speaker 1: this kind of behave like that, and I've never seen
- 11:16Speaker 1: a president do that. Well, people have been posting online
- 11:19Speaker 1: the clips of Joe Biden doing much worse. There's a
- 11:23Speaker 1: million clips, and it's always a female interviewer of Joe
- 11:27Speaker 1: Biden yelling at the female interview, calling her names, storming
- 11:30Speaker 1: out give him a hard time. Here's Joe Biden. These
- 11:36Speaker 1: are different female interviewers. I said, tell.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Me, hello, what are you doing? Someone that I said
- 11:50Speaker 4: was I said, went on before and got you vote.
- 11:55Speaker 4: I got votes for that bill I convince people to
- 11:58Speaker 4: vote for.
- 11:59Speaker 3: So let's get things straight too, the same things.
- 12:01Speaker 5: You do.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Not know what you're talking about.
- 12:03Speaker 4: No one said that, Who said that said that?
- 12:07Speaker 3: Answer the question?
- 12:08Speaker 1: Who went up and got it fixed?
- 12:10Speaker 3: So you're not.
- 12:11Speaker 6: And even the people in his administration have testified to
- 12:14Speaker 6: my character, testified to my honesty.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Collector, like, we.
- 12:18Speaker 7: Just discovered this yet.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I wish you could see this. It's a video. It's
- 12:20Speaker 1: up on my Twitter if you want to see. Because
- 12:21Speaker 1: he's poking his finger right in her face. Each one
- 12:24Speaker 1: of them's poking a finger right in their face. It's
- 12:27Speaker 1: so ugly to watch. Hey, this crazy mom Donnie wants
- 12:31Speaker 1: to throw this big watch party in Central Park when
- 12:34Speaker 1: the FIFA World Cup starts. Fifty thousand people on the
- 12:39Speaker 1: Great Lawn. This is going to be a real problem.
- 12:42Speaker 1: This is going to end in disaster. Most likely it'll
- 12:46Speaker 1: be July nineteenth, Central Park's Great Lawn. They're gonna total
- 12:50Speaker 1: of fifty two thousand tickets are up for grabs. They're
- 12:53Speaker 1: going to do some kind of a lottery or something
- 12:55Speaker 1: for these spots, be a number of spots for local
- 13:00Speaker 1: on profit organizations, NYC service volunteers. This event made possible
- 13:05Speaker 1: through a six million dollar investment from Empire State Development
- 13:09Speaker 1: combined with three point five million in city dollars. Why
- 13:14Speaker 1: are we spending all this money on this? First of all,
- 13:16Speaker 1: fifty you saw what happened in Bryant Park with two
- 13:20Speaker 1: thousand people that ended up in a riot last night.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Fifty thousand people, Central Park, the Great Lawn. Oh, look
- 13:26Speaker 1: at this. Oh, I didn't see this. MC's for the
- 13:32Speaker 1: event will be Charlemagne the God and Elvis Duran, two coworkers.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Charlemagne's in the next studio and Elvis Duran is down
- 13:40Speaker 1: in the hall.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Uh.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Oh, well, hopefully it'll go well. I don't know what
- 13:46Speaker 1: these guys. I don't know if these guys know what
- 13:47Speaker 1: they're getting themselves into. Hey, I mentioned before the fact
- 13:52Speaker 1: that we're having another game. One game brings in about
- 13:55Speaker 1: ninety two million in revenue to New York people spending
- 13:58Speaker 1: money on restaurants, hotels, all that sort of stuff. New
- 14:03Speaker 1: York City hospitality leaders say the whole Knix series, the
- 14:08Speaker 1: Knicks run everything about the Knicks, bringing in about four
- 14:11Speaker 1: hundred and sixty five million dollars. Four hundred and sixty
- 14:15Speaker 1: five million dollars. I remember, people come in and they're
- 14:18Speaker 1: buying tons of stuff, merchandise Knicks, merchandise, Knicks, hats, shirts,
- 14:23Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff. Hey, you know, I'm looking
- 14:27Speaker 1: at the front row, all the celebrities. You know, you
- 14:30Speaker 1: see a lot of these guys. Larry David comes in
- 14:32Speaker 1: a sweater, and Michael Bloomberg comes in a one of
- 14:36Speaker 1: those zip up things that financial guys wear, and Spike
- 14:41Speaker 1: Lee comes with a Knicks uniform on a couple of
- 14:45Speaker 1: these guys. We've got the Knicks unit. What the hell
- 14:47Speaker 1: is that all? What do you think they're going to
- 14:48Speaker 1: be short of player something? They may all of a
- 14:52Speaker 1: sudden call on you to come in the game. They
- 14:54Speaker 1: might need four foot eight Spike Lee to come in
- 14:56Speaker 1: there and help them out. Luigi Mangioni, he has a sister.
- 15:03Speaker 1: She just got a big job at a hospital. Her
- 15:07Speaker 1: name is Maria Santa Mangioni, thirty six, apparently a brilliant woman,
- 15:14Speaker 1: all kinds of degrees and all kinds. She's gonna just
- 15:16Speaker 1: been hired by Johns Hopkins University. That's some job interview.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I notice here that your brother assassinates healthcare officials. Is
- 15:25Speaker 1: that going to be a problem for you. No, No,
- 15:27Speaker 1: I don't do that. I don't do That's that side
- 15:29Speaker 1: of the thing. Okay. But she's got quite a background,
- 15:32Speaker 1: you know, Luigi Manji own Ivy League kid, went to
- 15:35Speaker 1: the University of Pennsylvania. The sister has quite an academic background,
- 15:39Speaker 1: but just took the just took this new job. Hey,
- 15:42Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:44Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Is the number, eight hundred three
- 15:48Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Will Mark Simone show Live from the woor Lifeback studios.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Hey, we'll take some calls. Undred three to two one
- 16:01Speaker 1: zero seven tenors the number. Let's go to John and Florida. John,
- 16:05Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 16:07Speaker 4: Mark? How come to the Supreme Court? Is not stepping
- 16:09Speaker 4: in in townies, states and cities and governors and may there's.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Not a sanctuary city.
- 16:15Speaker 6: They have to follow the constitutions.
- 16:17Speaker 4: We're not anymal As rocks.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Well, yeah, they go back and forth, they find out
- 16:22Speaker 1: in the end, Yes, you're right, federal law supersedes local law.
- 16:27Speaker 1: There actually is no such thing as a sanctuary city.
- 16:30Speaker 1: You can declare yourself that. It just means that the locals,
- 16:33Speaker 1: which they control local law enforcement, will do nothing to
- 16:36Speaker 1: look the other way. But the Feds again can come
- 16:39Speaker 1: in and do what they have to do. And that's
- 16:41Speaker 1: what's going to happen here. Federal law always supersedes local law.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Let's go to Joe in Westchester. Joe, how you doing?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Good morning?
- 16:50Speaker 5: Mark?
- 16:51Speaker 1: How are you good?
- 16:52Speaker 5: I've enjoyed you. You wad w days and for the
- 16:55Speaker 5: most part, appreciate your view of the world. Where they
- 16:59Speaker 5: thought comment that drag any Luigi Mangeolite's sister into this
- 17:05Speaker 5: and Kaye hurt in some way which he just got
- 17:08Speaker 5: a nice job because Hopkins was a bit distasteful.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Well, every time, we'd like to have a very very somber,
- 17:17Speaker 1: serious guy like you call up and rain all over
- 17:20Speaker 1: our parade. Thank you wait, way too serious, listen. Let's
- 17:26Speaker 1: go to uh uh. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 17:30Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 17:31Speaker 6: Good morning?
- 17:32Speaker 8: Mark?
- 17:32Speaker 6: I have Mark.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I don't appreciate you laughing like that. This is very serious. Sorry,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I know. Joe from West. You should you should team
- 17:42Speaker 1: up with Scott Pelley. You two can go around scolding everybody.
- 17:47Speaker 1: That's right, you've made it.
- 17:49Speaker 6: You're really killing it today in the show, it's unbelievable
- 17:52Speaker 6: how many points that I totally ammitten down with. One
- 17:55Speaker 6: is the soccer watch parties. Have they never heard of
- 17:58Speaker 6: soccer riots, which are like a worldwide phenomenon. I mean
- 18:01Speaker 6: there have been wars for it over soccer games in
- 18:04Speaker 6: the past. And the other one is the Knick's court
- 18:06Speaker 6: side seats. You know who, I didn't see you're sitting
- 18:09Speaker 6: in any of those very expensive seats stillyl Aliens.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah, well, yeah, that's true. Hey, every time they show
- 18:17Speaker 1: where Trump is sitting with Dolan, it looks so beautiful, luxurious.
- 18:21Speaker 1: You see that, it's the most beautiful, like leather reclinery.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Sitting in your courtside, You're sitting on a folding chair.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you want to go sit in the box
- 18:29Speaker 1: there and sit in a luxury suite as much?
- 18:31Speaker 6: That box is so the food right outside, there's catering.
- 18:34Speaker 6: I mean, I've sat in boxes in other stadiums in
- 18:38Speaker 6: New York. You never want to, you know, you could
- 18:41Speaker 6: live there. They're phenomenal. It's so luxurious. I don't know
- 18:44Speaker 6: why you would want to sit getting sweated on.
- 18:47Speaker 1: No, and it's you ever go to the Yankee game
- 18:48Speaker 1: and sit in the front row on the first baseline.
- 18:51Speaker 1: You think that's the greatest seat there is. It's horrible.
- 18:53Speaker 1: It's scary because you can't take your eye off the
- 18:56Speaker 1: ball the whole game. You have to keep watching because
- 18:58Speaker 1: you could get killed if a fall is coming at you.
- 19:01Speaker 1: You're like right there.
- 19:02Speaker 6: And not only that, and not only that, but once
- 19:04Speaker 6: the guy stands up in the back and on on
- 19:06Speaker 6: deck circle, you can't see anything.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, now, sit back, Hey, the owner can have a
- 19:13Speaker 1: seat anywhere he wants. You Notice he always sits up
- 19:15Speaker 1: in that box. You never see the owner sitting in
- 19:17Speaker 1: one of those folding chairs in the front. All right,
- 19:20Speaker 1: thanks for calling. Let's go to Marco in the Bronx. Marco.
- 19:24Speaker 8: How you doing, hey, Mark, thanks for taking the call.
- 19:28Speaker 8: Everybody's talking about Spike Lee and wearing a jersey for
- 19:32Speaker 8: the Knicks. Did you see what they had written on it? No,
- 19:35Speaker 8: it had Pope Leo forty two for the forty second Pope.
- 19:41Speaker 7: You know why?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Right?
- 19:42Speaker 8: Well, Hope is not coming to New York because of
- 19:46Speaker 8: Trump saying that the you know, the immigrants or worried,
- 19:52Speaker 8: you know, so he wore that Jersey. How ridiculous that
- 19:56Speaker 8: nobody's saying anything about it. Well, we know how Spike
- 19:59Speaker 8: Lee is.
- 20:00Speaker 1: He's a nice guy, kind of goofy. But listen, when
- 20:02Speaker 1: it comes to major political issues, foreign policy, I don't
- 20:05Speaker 1: usually look to Spike Lee for guidance on any of that.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Don't worry about what he thinks. Let's go to uh
- 20:13Speaker 1: Joe in New Jersey. Joe, how you doing? Wait a minute,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I got to push the button. Joe. Go ahead.
- 20:21Speaker 7: Oh hey, Mark, how you doing. I'm doing great, buddy.
- 20:25Speaker 7: So Mark, two quick statements and then a question.
- 20:28Speaker 1: So first, these guys that call the whole outline of
- 20:30Speaker 1: the call, they've got at laid out. They've got a whole,
- 20:33Speaker 1: very structured program for the call. Yes, okay, go ahead.
- 20:37Speaker 7: I know I should be for your audience right now.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Just you're very lucky. We have to kill about a
- 20:41Speaker 1: minute and a half here.
- 20:42Speaker 7: We love you, We love you so much. I just
- 20:45Speaker 7: you know, conservatives all around that listen to your show.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Like you're really enough enough, buttering up in preamb, Well,
- 20:52Speaker 1: what's there.
- 20:53Speaker 7: I'm sorry man, so uh so, listen, you know, here's
- 20:56Speaker 7: why Maga and all conservatives can't stand our party. The
- 21:00Speaker 7: Republicans are in a position they have the House, the Congress,
- 21:03Speaker 7: they can get to save Act passed. I can't think
- 21:06Speaker 7: of a better stake to drive through the heart of
- 21:08Speaker 7: the wicked left than voter integrity, and our party won't
- 21:14Speaker 7: get it done.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Now my question Republicans, Well, I'm not a Republican, I'm
- 21:20Speaker 1: not a Democrat. I can't stand either of them.
- 21:22Speaker 7: Well, I'm looking at the party that's in power that
- 21:25Speaker 7: we have the best chance to get this stuff passed,
- 21:27Speaker 7: and these fools are in there and they have the
- 21:29Speaker 7: power and they can't get it passed. Get it passed.
- 21:31Speaker 7: It's that important. My question, do you think with Trump's
- 21:35Speaker 7: thirty seven uh you know backings that he just pulled off,
- 21:41Speaker 7: if let's say most of those guys, you killed.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Them in that and that's what we needed. And we've
- 21:46Speaker 1: got to go do the news. But hey, you made
- 21:48Speaker 1: your point. We don't know what it is.
- 21:50Speaker 5: We love you.
- 21:51Speaker 1: We love you, bro, Thanks for killing some time for us.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Thank you. Anyway, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly will
- 21:58Speaker 1: be with us. Hey, he's always I will ask him.
- 22:01Speaker 1: We see him sitting in those seats in the front,
- 22:03Speaker 1: those nick seats, in the folding chairs. But we'll talk
- 22:05Speaker 1: to him about that. All kinds of things coming up
- 22:07Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wor it's the Mark Simone Show.
- 22:12Speaker 1: On sevent ten WOR Well. Bill o'reiley, the great TV
- 22:19Speaker 1: anchor for decades, the best selling author. It's got a
- 22:22Speaker 1: million things going on if you if you want to
- 22:25Speaker 1: know everything, go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly
- 22:28Speaker 1: dot com. It's got the new podcast. We'll do it live.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Make sure you see the latest episode. Victor Davis Hansen.
- 22:34Speaker 1: It's riveting. And of course his YouTube channel Bill O'Reilly
- 22:38Speaker 1: at YouTube. But if you go to his website you
- 22:40Speaker 1: can get the links to everything there. Just go to
- 22:42Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing n
- 22:47Speaker 1: and chat you good? Let me ask you something these
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm watching the Knicks games. I see Trump in the suite,
- 22:55Speaker 1: big leather chair. You couldn't be more luxurious, comfortable. These
- 22:58Speaker 1: people in the floor seats, it's a folding chair with
- 23:01Speaker 1: people sweating all over you. What is the attraction of
- 23:04Speaker 1: the floor.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Notoriety? So a guy like Ben Stiller really didn't have
- 23:11Speaker 4: much of a career.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Correct.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I'm not disparaging him, but he's not
- 23:19Speaker 4: a guy that people are talking about. He gets four
- 23:24Speaker 4: or five shots on national television sitting in the front
- 23:28Speaker 4: row at the Nick game. That hypes him up. And
- 23:33Speaker 4: that's why these celebrities do it. I think, you know
- 23:37Speaker 4: most of them like basketball too, they're Nick fans. But
- 23:41Speaker 4: it's it's a big POI thing for them to go
- 23:45Speaker 4: to the Garden and have people sweat on you.
- 23:50Speaker 1: But you've actually sat there, So what is it like,
- 23:52Speaker 1: I you're about to get crashed into it any second.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a little tight. I'm six four, about one ninety.
- 24:00Speaker 4: It's a little tight. But the reason I go is
- 24:06Speaker 4: to watch the game. I mean, they're ever going to
- 24:09Speaker 4: put me on the jumbo tron. I mean, that's not there.
- 24:15Speaker 4: The Garden is not that hospitable to me, whereas all
- 24:20Speaker 4: the other stadiums that Arena is in the New York
- 24:25Speaker 4: area and across the country are I never quite figured
- 24:28Speaker 4: it out, but I pay for my seats and then't
- 24:32Speaker 4: take anything for a lot of these cellibs, you know,
- 24:35Speaker 4: they take it gratis, not me. See you see me there.
- 24:39Speaker 4: You know I paid the freight, and but you know
- 24:42Speaker 4: the folks are there. It's just nice chat. I'm happy
- 24:46Speaker 4: to go.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Hey, but here's a picture somebody put online. This is
- 24:49Speaker 1: you and Donald Trump sitting together at the game I
- 24:51Speaker 1: think twenty fourteen.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I went to a number of Nick
- 24:55Speaker 4: games with him. In fact, at one of them, he
- 24:58Speaker 4: told me he was going to run for president and
- 25:00Speaker 4: I looked at him, I said of what country? And
- 25:04Speaker 4: I thought he was going to buy up Bolivia and
- 25:07Speaker 4: then install himself. But yeah, we used to go to
- 25:11Speaker 4: MIT and Yankee and Nick games all the time, and
- 25:18Speaker 4: it was before he had any interest in politics. Simply
- 25:23Speaker 4: a businessman. But I'd known him for thirty five years
- 25:27Speaker 4: and I knew he was a sports fan, so occasionally
- 25:31Speaker 4: we go to see the games. Always had a good time.
- 25:33Speaker 1: So when Kathy Ogle says he doesn't know any about
- 25:35Speaker 1: the next he's not really a Knicks fan, you can
- 25:37Speaker 1: testify that she's one hundred percent wrong.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Kathy Hogel, who's at the governor Yeah that one, Yeah,
- 25:47Speaker 4: I mean, look on way beyond Governor Hopel. At this point,
- 25:53Speaker 4: once she came out and Quasi supported the banishment of
- 25:59Speaker 4: the words mom and dad in state correspondence. I mean,
- 26:03Speaker 4: I just hung it up. That's it for me. If
- 26:08Speaker 4: she's gonna be she didn't sign it, and she won't
- 26:11Speaker 4: sign until after the election. But I mean she should
- 26:15Speaker 4: have condemned it, and she didn't. You know, we're in
- 26:18Speaker 4: his zone there that I guess some New Yorkers feel
- 26:21Speaker 4: comfortable in it.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I don't for people listening to don't know, you're not kidding.
- 26:25Speaker 1: There's a bill that has passed that you're not allowed
- 26:28Speaker 1: to use word mother or father in any government, state, anything.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Yeah, and once you get into that zone, that crazy
- 26:37Speaker 4: lunatic zone, I check out. I'm not not even gonna
- 26:43Speaker 4: bother with you anymore, both professionally and personally, because life
- 26:48Speaker 4: is short and I don't have time to deal with morons.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I really don't. And she doesn't care one way or
- 26:53Speaker 4: the other. She's just doing to try to assemble political power.
- 26:57Speaker 4: She's trying to beat Blakeman, and she feels her progressive masters,
- 27:01Speaker 4: the people who control her, want this, which they do,
- 27:05Speaker 4: so she sits on it.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Wow, only giving Blakeman Moore ammunition if they ever have
- 27:10Speaker 1: to debate, which I'm sure they will but hey, you've
- 27:14Speaker 1: spent your whole life in newsrooms, news organizations. I'm sure
- 27:18Speaker 1: you've been fired a few times. We all have. It's
- 27:20Speaker 1: perfectly normal. Shows get canceled. Have you ever seen anything
- 27:24Speaker 1: like Scott Pelly, the way he just stood up like
- 27:26Speaker 1: this pompous asked and told off the boss.
- 27:29Speaker 4: Well, I have, And that's a good question you're asking,
- 27:36Speaker 4: because I've been in the business more than fifty years,
- 27:40Speaker 4: forty two of them working for corporations, which I'll never
- 27:43Speaker 4: do again. I have my own corporations now, and I'm
- 27:47Speaker 4: a lot happier run on my own show. But Kelly
- 27:51Speaker 4: lives in a world where he basically feels noble. That's
- 27:57Speaker 4: a keyword. He's noble. So he hates Trump, and as
- 28:02Speaker 4: Odottie does. I mean in six years that Donald Trump
- 28:06Speaker 4: has been president six years, sixty minutes, has run one
- 28:10Speaker 4: favorable SoundBite in six years, and that was some guy
- 28:14Speaker 4: saying the tariffs might work. Okay, that's it. And all
- 28:19Speaker 4: the rest of the coverage John Trump has been negative.
- 28:24Speaker 4: So don't tell me that you're some kind of journalist
- 28:27Speaker 4: looking for the truth. You're not. You are a left
- 28:31Speaker 4: wing zealot who is trying to impose his point of
- 28:36Speaker 4: view on the country. That's what Scott Pelly is. But
- 28:40Speaker 4: he's never going to admit that because the circle that
- 28:44Speaker 4: he runs in both socially in Connecticut Greenwich and in
- 28:49Speaker 4: New York City at CBS headquarters, they're all like he is.
- 28:55Speaker 4: They all hate Trump, so there's a normalcy for that.
- 29:00Speaker 4: And then when Kelly gets gets called out on it,
- 29:03Speaker 4: which is what this is all about, he's indignant, Oh,
- 29:09Speaker 4: how can you do this to me? I'm just a
- 29:11Speaker 4: journalist and you're trying to tell me I can't do X,
- 29:14Speaker 4: Y and c. Hey, Scott, the fix was in from
- 29:18Speaker 4: the moment Trump got into politics, and you know it.
- 29:23Speaker 4: So don't give me it. You're a noble guy because
- 29:26Speaker 4: you didn't even try to cover him in a balanced way. Yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 4: and that is the truth. But I know tons of
- 29:35Speaker 4: people in the journalistic world like that, far more than
- 29:39Speaker 4: our traditional conservatives.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Wow. Hey, Kristen Welker, that meet the present of youew
- 29:48Speaker 1: where Trump got up in Walker. You've interviewed a lot
- 29:51Speaker 1: of presidents, You've been in that seat a lot. She
- 29:54Speaker 1: was a little over the top with.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Her, I mean, a bit rude, but it's the same
- 29:59Speaker 4: Scott Pellice that Ms. Walker Welker has the same exact thing.
- 30:07Speaker 4: So she's from a family that are ardent Democrats who
- 30:10Speaker 4: have given thousands of dollars to advance the Democratic Party.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Nothing wrong with that she's in the family. But don't
- 30:18Speaker 4: tell me, Kristen that you're going in looking for a
- 30:22Speaker 4: fair interview. You're not. So there are two ways to
- 30:26Speaker 4: ask questions, as you know, I mean, you're an interviewer
- 30:31Speaker 4: of the highest level in radio. There are two ways
- 30:36Speaker 4: to ask the question. Informational like President Trump, you say
- 30:43Speaker 4: the California election was rigged? What are you basing that on? Well,
- 30:52Speaker 4: what is the main thing that the Americans should know
- 30:55Speaker 4: about your opinion? That's informational confrontation is hey, there's no
- 31:02Speaker 4: evidence of anything. What are you talking about? And that's
- 31:06Speaker 4: what Wilger did I mean last night, the coverage on
- 31:12Speaker 4: the California elections was on every network. Trump's baseless assertion
- 31:20Speaker 4: that there was fraud in California. How can you say
- 31:24Speaker 4: it's baseless? Did you investigated NBC News? Did you send
- 31:29Speaker 4: Kristen Welker out there to see if there was something wrong? No,
- 31:36Speaker 4: you didn't. You slap on the description baseless because you
- 31:43Speaker 4: don't like Trump. And so getting back to Scott Kelly,
- 31:50Speaker 4: this is a whole crew. This is what they do.
- 31:54Speaker 4: My job is to make Trump look bad, not to
- 32:00Speaker 4: get information. Listen. I interviewed five presidents, and every one
- 32:06Speaker 4: of them I asked the toughest questions I could think of,
- 32:09Speaker 4: but they weren't disrespectful. I didn't say that George.
- 32:15Speaker 7: W.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Bush, you're a moron? Or what are you doing in Iraq?
- 32:20Speaker 4: I didn't say to Obama, why are you unfreezing assets
- 32:25Speaker 4: to Iran? I didn't do that in an accusatory way.
- 32:31Speaker 4: I would say, you did this, mister president, can you
- 32:36Speaker 4: explain the rationale behind it? Now? With Trump, to be fair,
- 32:44Speaker 4: you're not going to get a thoughtful answer. You're going
- 32:48Speaker 4: to get what he believes, and he believes the election
- 32:51Speaker 4: two twenty and the California election were fought. You are
- 32:55Speaker 4: not going to get him out of that ever. Okay,
- 33:00Speaker 4: But you can say, give me your best shot, mister
- 33:04Speaker 4: president on to twenty. Give me one thing that I
- 33:09Speaker 4: can take home and say, you know, President Trump may
- 33:13Speaker 4: have a point. Give me one and he'll probably go, well,
- 33:18Speaker 4: here's a million of them. Okay, But you're asking the
- 33:23Speaker 4: question to get information not to make him look bad,
- 33:28Speaker 4: and that's what Kristen Welker did and always does.
- 33:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Well, Bill O'Reilly wish we had more time. But hey,
- 33:37Speaker 1: everybody should watch Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. There's great stuff
- 33:41Speaker 1: up there. If you want to get the show and
- 33:44Speaker 1: the newsletter and the message of everything's at Bill O'Reilly

- 34:04Speaker 4: the Nick game. That should be quite an interesting segment.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Yeah, well watch that tonight. But if you missed the
- 34:12Speaker 1: Victor Davis Hanson, go back and watch that.
- 34:14Speaker 7: There.
