- 0:01As the individual Works to understand the Wellsprings of
- 0:04the motives impulses and forces that rise up through his being
- 0:09in the subcontinent and push him into action.
- 0:13A subtler, understanding begins to develop the need to
- 0:18distinguish between the inherited habits and embedded,
- 0:21atavistic movements, the influence of the society and
- 0:25those who interact with one and then distinguishing those Since
- 0:30which arise due to the influence of vital beings attempting to
- 0:34gain some control or result from the individual drive.
- 0:38This subtle understanding The first distinguishing factor for
- 0:43those who work through all the subtle energies to gain this
- 0:46understanding, is that the impulses that arise between and
- 0:50among individuals tend to be relatively similar as we all
- 0:55share. A common human Heritage and
- 0:57background those impulses that arise from the vital beings can.
- 1:01In many cases take forms that could only be considered foreign
- 1:06or strange in some way to the individual uncharacteristic.
- 1:11And not something normally experienced in day-to-day
- 1:14interactions. Thus the influence of vital
- 1:18forces can be found out through this process of patient, sifting
- 1:22of the energies and their impacts on the being regardless
- 1:28of the source. When the individual takes up the
- 1:31process of yoga and determines to undertake the radical
- 1:34transformation of human nature. The process of patient
- 1:39observation. Aspiration and persistent
- 1:43efforts represents the way forward the mother writes quote,
- 1:50there it is a little easier to recognize the influence for if
- 1:54you are the least bit attentive, you become aware of something
- 1:58that has suddenly awakened within you.
- 2:00For example, those who are in the habit of losing their temper
- 2:04if they have attempted ever so little to control their anger,
- 2:08they will find something coming. I'm outside or rising from below
- 2:13which actually takes hold of their Consciousness and arouses
- 2:17anger into them. I don't mean that everybody is
- 2:21capable of this discernment. I am speaking of those who have
- 2:25tried to understand their being in control it.
- 2:29These adverse suggestions are easier to distinguish.
- 2:32Then for instance, your response to the will or desire of a being
- 2:36who is of the same nature as yourself.
- 2:39Another human being who consequently acts on you,
- 2:43without this giving you a clear impression of something coming
- 2:47from outside the vibration. Are too alike to similar in
- 2:52their nature and you have to be much more attentive and have a
- 2:56much sharper discernment to realize that these movements
- 3:00which seemed to come out from you or not really yours but come
- 3:04from outside. But with the adverse forces if
- 3:08you are in the least sincere and observe yourself attentively,
- 3:12you become aware that it is something in the being which is
- 3:16responding to an influence and impulse a Question even
- 3:21something at times very concrete which enters and produces
- 3:25similar vibrations in the being there.
- 3:29Now that is the problem. The remedy it is always the
- 3:34same. Goodwill sincerity in sight
- 3:40patients. Oh, an untiring patients and a
- 3:46perseverance which is sure as you that what you have not
- 3:48succeeded in doing today. You will succeed in doing
- 3:52another time and makes you go on trying until you do succeed and
- 3:59this brings us back to Sri aurobindo sentence.
- 4:02If this control seems to you quite impossible today, well,
- 4:06That means that not only will it be possible that it will be
- 4:10realized later in quote. Reference SRI aurobindo in the
