- 1:29both recently got hurt a couple months ago and they're looking
- 1:32like they're going to be out most of this year.
- 1:34Hopefully they can bounce back sooner but that injury doesn't
- 1:37just affect their job. Their job in the ring but
- 1:40affects their real-life jobs and it's tough for them to make
- 1:42money right now. So if you can go down below and

- 2:03makes that recovery process a lot better.
- 2:04I'm Rob concurrently the feeling Mike Swanson, share it.
- 2:08So one of the things I've been doing a lot on this show, but I
- 2:10didn't really put it over. Is I try to always wear a
- 2:12different independent. Sure when I'm on camera.
- 2:14I'm going. Acknowledging the people I'm
- 2:16wearing so I think that's a cool thing to do.
- 2:19Think that's all, I got. Yeah follow me on all.
- 2:21Social media Anthony Blackwell Junior.
- 2:22A black Will Junior will also get you some places.
- 2:25All the links are above my head. Where are you can find me and we
- 2:27just created literally 15 minutes ago, they brand new, a
- 2:31BJ podcast, Facebook Community page.
- 2:33So we have that and a Discord that you can join and, and meet
- 2:37a whole bunch of new people and talk fun, things like beer
- 2:40wrestling, pop culture, all this crazy stuff, I'm sure right now
- 2:43they're all blowing up with the new news that Stephanie McMahon
- 2:46just step down as the co-ceo of do to be.
- 2:49So that's probably going to be a show that I'll be learning about
- 2:53as this interview concludes in the chat as well as afterwards.
- 2:56But without further Ado, let me bring my guest in 4 episode 16
- 3:00here and what better person to talk about, I'm very excited.
- 3:04I'm going to learn a lot about this person that I didn't think
- 3:05I learned. I didn't know before.
- 3:07And that's what this is all about, is learning about
- 3:09learning about people and discovering new things.
- 3:12So without further Ado skiff, Hey, what's going on, man?
- 3:18It's been a crazy day in about 10 minutes ago.
- 3:21I just found out that I'm going to be co-ceo of the WWE.
- 3:25Congratulations. Thank you.
- 3:27Thank you. Do you get like a budget of hush
- 3:30money? Or is that, is, that is that
- 3:31discussed yet? Is that like a, I mean, they, I
- 3:35don't think I'm getting paid. That's usually pro wrestling.
- 3:39Yeah, hot dog and a handshake. I think it's the hush money.
- 3:43Yeah, what What pays less stand-up comedy or professional
- 3:47wrestling a pretty equal, probably stand up.
- 3:55But, but that's mainly because you also, like, do a lot of
- 3:58shows for free, like, that's gonna wander.
- 4:02Yeah, or like, it's an open mic that you're going to, like, work
- 4:07on your craft, that can be considered, like, similar to
- 4:10like, oh, I the dojo shows like, a lot of companies are doing.
- 4:15That now is at their training center.
- 4:17When their students get to a certain level, they start
- 4:21filming matches their like those matches.
- 4:23They're not getting paid for that.
- 4:24They're they're technically probably still paying tuition so
- 4:28yeah, you're probably paying to wrestle.
- 4:30Yeah. So it's that's similar in that
- 4:32aspect and then I mean if you do like a bar show, you might get
- 4:36$10 $20 or just drink tickets. And yeah, I mean my take a hot
- 4:42dog over that. Yeah, yeah.
- 4:44Sometimes sometimes that Bar food can be sneaky, you know?
- 4:46But yeah. So how, how did you get into
- 4:49this world of professional wrestling?
- 4:51So, I started training when I was 16 and so, I couldn't drive
- 4:59at the time. In fact, one of the first times
- 5:03where, like, my mom, like taught me on a drive was after a
- 5:06training session. But so I had to choose a school
- 5:09that was local to me. I'm in the northern Virginia
- 5:11area. I started training with a
- 5:13company called Qaeda Pro keep your dreams alive at this time.
- 5:20Their training center was in the back of a daycare.
- 5:26It just had like, gymnastic mats.
- 5:29I trained there like, every Saturday for maybe three months.
- 5:35I did not see the ring at all. It was just the just the like
- 5:41gymnastics floor mats and then the owner was living in New York
- 5:46at the time. And if you don't, if you never
- 5:48seen a map in your life, you are kin Virginia.
- 5:51Not not the closest. Yeah, that's a whole.
- 5:55But so I. But I was 16, I was like fine.
- 5:58And like honestly if like there are under cage underage kids
- 6:03training, it's probably probably good to not be in a ring.
- 6:08Like ruining your development and your body.
- 6:12But so, mainly we just learned basic chain and then doing like,
- 6:19rolls and stuff and cardio, but then because owner was in New
- 6:23York, it it ended up shutting down.
- 6:27Essentially one of the people from a previous class was asked
- 6:30to be the head trainer and he's like, no, I'm not qualified for
- 6:35that at all. And so at 16, the dream kind of
- 6:40died a little bit about a year later the company did reopen
- 6:46their training school. This time it was in it was in a
- 6:50strip mall and there there was like a Mexican church next door
- 6:58and then on, like behind us was like a porn shop.
- 7:04Love that, that's that, that is as well.
- 7:07First thing is to get Church porn and wrestling.
- 7:09Yeah. So it's a fun experience going
- 7:12into that but that's where we had a ring that time and so I
- 7:18started training then probably the like at that point I could
- 7:24drive so I could have potentially chosen something
- 7:28else. But again this was fairly close
- 7:31to where I lived and I was still getting the previous rate that I
- 7:35had agreed on in signed a contract.
- 7:37For and so, I decide to stick with it.
- 7:40Maybe if I chose to like drive up to Philly, like that was the
- 7:45other option, but that's still three hours for me and I was 17.
- 7:50So, I saw, I'd like school in the morning and things like
- 7:52that. But but that was fun.
- 7:58I started training there that class with me Nyla Rose was
- 8:04there. They were in my class.
- 8:07Yeah she's at a Virginia. Yeah and then shortly after I
- 8:12started Logan, Eason LaRue was was also there.
- 8:16So, yeah. Criminally underrated.
- 8:19Yeah. I like her.
- 8:21There's no reason why he's not on TV.
- 8:24He's so Good ab. Absolutely.
- 8:27Like, I love Logan and and his great, I was happy when he
- 8:32showed up because when he showed up he asked me like, like what
- 8:39wrestling I watch. I was like, I watch Like, Ring
- 8:41of Honor and he was the only person at that time at her
- 8:45school that did watch anything Independence.
- 8:48Everyone else was like, strictly WWE stuff.
- 8:54And so it was cool that he was there and someone else to talk
- 8:58about things I actually liked and could try and do stuff other
- 9:02than what was on TV. Yeah.
- 9:05And Ring of Honor is a, that's a that's a deep cut at that.
- 9:07What year is that 2007? Wow, I mean your head of the
- 9:14curve? Yeah they're probably it's
- 9:18probably still like just when they started to decline but
- 9:22their Popularity was on the rise still?
- 9:24Yeah. Yeah.
- 9:25That's a II didn't realize how big of a deal Ring of Honor was
- 9:31until like maybe a year or two ago.
- 9:34I knew it existed, but I never realized the, the history there
- 9:38and who came out of it and what was built out of that and then
- 9:41learning about it just from doing concentrating and
- 9:43wrestling and kind of going back and re learning things and then
- 9:46being in in the worldwide, dojo. And then being like, wow, we're
- 9:50essentially in the heart of roh. At one point in time, you know,
- 9:54in this place and hearing all the stories about the broken
- 9:57squat racks behind us, because Cesaro shattered.
- 10:00It sitting in the going and Seabees office and being like
- 10:03that's where Punk and Daniel Bryan and people like Kevin
- 10:06Owens walk through the doors. Like this is unbelievable.
- 10:09So yeah. And it's kind of cool that it's
- 10:11in our immediate area in Pennsylvania.
- 10:13Yeah, it like discovering Ring of Honor probably saved my
- 10:18fandom in wrestling because like the Early 2000s, WWE was bad.
- 10:26And then like I started watching TNA and then I that started to
- 10:30get bad too. And then then I found the
- 10:33independence and and that revived everything.
- 10:36Got me checking out stuff from Japan as well.
- 10:40Yeah, so was wrestling. Always a big part of your
- 10:43childhood and growing up. And we're, you always in, like,
- 10:45did you always just like, how did you find wrestling?
- 10:48Like was it, your parents were into it and it kind of stumble
- 10:50across or how did you get that bug?
- 10:53my parents weren't really my the earliest I can remember is it
- 10:58must have been some like WCW, like, see show that my dad put
- 11:02on, I got maybe his WWF but I was like Macho Man and like many
- 11:07Macho Man against like doink and Dink and like I remember
- 11:13enjoying that and then like They would buy me like wrestling
- 11:17wrestling action figures, and like I enjoyed playing with
- 11:19those and everything and I like I had a ring and things like
- 11:21that, but I wasn't like watching all the time and then I started
- 11:28to during that probably right at that Attitude Era, but then I
- 11:33decided to order a pay-per-view without their permission.
- 11:40Which extinction by bucks? It was probably less than that
- 11:44at the time, but I want to was I don't I don't remember the first
- 11:54pay-per-view. My parents ever bit the bullet
- 11:56and ordered for me was was WrestleMania with HBK and razor,
- 12:02bring the ladder match data and I watched it a hundred times.
- 12:06I just kept repeating it all the whole time.
- 12:08Just watching a bag watching back.
- 12:09And back. It was it was I was my first
- 12:11pay-per-view. Yeah I can't it wasn't a
- 12:15WrestleMania. And my parents found out and
- 12:20we're mad about it and my dad and they like ask me of course
- 12:23and I was like, oh, you know, I probably sat on the phone and it
- 12:27did it on its own. It dialed the number and then
- 12:31agreed to it. And yeah, now using the button
- 12:35you can accidentally wouldn't be like, oh yeah, it's no.
- 12:37I was trying to hit back in the remote froze, you know?
- 12:40Yeah. I want to see how much it cost I
- 12:41know is gonna buy it but like clearly you can't sit on the
- 12:45phone and and so, they cancelled my cable.
- 12:53So, so then for a while, I just had basic cable and like, not
- 12:56just like watching wrestling, but just watching TV in general,
- 12:59is like an elementary. Every school kid was rough.
- 13:03So I could really only like, watch Smackdown because I was on
- 13:05like UPN, which was yeah, just barely on basic cable, but I
- 13:11said, watch that. And then I kept watching it
- 13:15after that, that point. Yeah, now from being from the
- 13:19Virginia area and working in that scene, how did you how did
- 13:22you then gravitate up to the Northeast, the Northeast area?
- 13:26So the count the the kind of the company I trained with Ended up
- 13:31closing when I went to college because I did take a year and a
- 13:34half off training. Actually got me to graduate high
- 13:38school early, which is fun. My senior year, I only needed
- 13:44two classes to graduate. And my school is like, hey, you
- 13:50can take five and I was like, I only need two to graduate.
- 13:53Why would I take five? And they're like well you can
- 13:56like work and I was like, no, no, I am not taking classes.
- 13:59I don't need. To.
- 14:00And so they said, I could go to an alternative school if I had a
- 14:04good reason and my reason was trying to be a professional
- 14:06wrestler and they bought it. And so, I just had two classes
- 14:11and I graduated a semester early apart, like this is one less kid
- 14:14we have to worry about like just get them out the door.
- 14:18Yeah, I don't know if they read like in, like I don't think I
- 14:21was training at that time because I think I told them that
- 14:23before they like shut down when I was still in the daycare and
- 14:27that was like a Saturday. So like that didn't impact.
- 14:30It's cool at all but they bought it.
- 14:33I went to the school. I got a is like it was a great
- 14:36school. It was mainly for like kids who
- 14:38get kicked out of other schools and don't like 12 graduate but
- 14:42don't aren't allowed at the other schools and then like
- 14:46pregnant moms who don't have like time to be doing like a
- 14:51full year but they can do a semester.
- 14:54So like it was full of people who wanted to be in school and
- 14:56like the teachers didn't give us homework and stuff.
- 14:58It was great. But yeah, me let me just add
- 15:02that I thought of like kids that were like like Sunday like
- 15:05summer school were just like so our summer school because we
- 15:09live in like a coal region. So it's like all these different
- 15:11like 80 schools and they all send their same just dirtball
- 15:15kids to one area and that summer school.
- 15:18So it's like the All-Star team of just the worst kids of every
- 15:22school and, wow, I had to summer school one year and it is it was
- 15:27a shit show. So the this wasn't because like,
- 15:32If you get kicked out of school you can just not go to school
- 15:35anymore. Yeah.
- 15:36Like these are these are kids that like are going because they
- 15:40wanted to graduate. They did get kicked out.
- 15:42They most likely did have some issues going on but like they
- 15:47didn't have to be there. Yeah.
- 15:50So like it was that it was actually like there's not a ton
- 15:53of fights like it's like there were bad kids but not too bad.
- 15:59Yeah they're there for because they're looking for that.
- 16:02And chance. Yeah.
- 16:05And and so wrestling got me out. So I spent a year and a half
- 16:08without going to college that. I went to college in North
- 16:13Carolina and again like Still kind of mid 2000's, so a lot of
- 16:22the stuff I had done with the company.
- 16:24I trained with I didn't have like access to like send that to
- 16:27promoters and things like that. And so I get to school school,
- 16:31there's a company down there that runs near by so I do hit
- 16:35them up the very first show that they're doing while I'm down.
- 16:39There is an all caged show that was like oh I don't know.
- 16:43This is a company I want to do because again like I've trained
- 16:48for at this point, maybe two years.
- 16:53Wasn't really ready to start doing death matches and cage
- 16:56cage shit. And it like, it would be fine
- 17:00now. And eventually after after some
- 17:03time I did go to them and I did work with them a few different
- 17:06times, but it just seemed like not a great situation and then
- 17:13there's not really like companies where I'd have to
- 17:15drive. It's like hard to get get in
- 17:17with them without having stuff. I can send them whether it's a
- 17:20DVD or YouTube link at that time.
- 17:23So I come back from from college, the company that I
- 17:27trained with is now closed, so I don't have it in there.
- 17:31Is that Filly company? No, no, no.
- 17:35That's still, I didn't know if you were, I didn't know if you
- 17:37were chaining out of shekhar or not, because like, a lot of
- 17:41people who were part of Camp LeapFrog were all like shekhar
- 17:43Affiliated know. So I I would have trained with
- 17:48them. But again, it was three hours
- 17:49and there was a school 30 minutes from my house.
- 17:52Yeah I did look into it a bunch though but notice it was Qaeda.
- 17:58We're at originally trained, they were closed and so then
- 18:01there's it's so hard to run shows in Virginia or DC that
- 18:06there just wasn't anything at that time and so at that point
- 18:12kind of I've been out for a few years it's like I don't really
- 18:18have anything to show someone to give me a chance.
- 18:24So I kind of just didn't do anything for a few years, then a
- 18:27company started called Nova Pro in Virginia.
- 18:32And and Logan was was going to be one of their stars and was
- 18:36one of their Stars. So I just want to watch and me
- 18:41and Logan reconnected and so I started helping out at Nova Pro.
- 18:46I started doing commentary there because I really I didn't want
- 18:49to pay for a license and and they were At it, they were
- 18:52bringing in a lot of stars. Like if you look at their cage
- 18:55match, like there's a reason that people weren't getting paid
- 18:59what they were supposed to her at all.
- 19:03And so, I didn't think I belonged on the shows, but I
- 19:07started doing comments here and I really like commentary with
- 19:09them, but then Nova Pro closed down for a lot of different
- 19:17reasons. And, and I just got in my foot
- 19:20in there to start doing commentary, I add a few matches
- 19:23with them as well and they closed down the lat the matches
- 19:27I did with them. Are on shows that never got
- 19:30released. So again, didn't have footage to
- 19:33give to someone else at this point.
- 19:37And so, So then I'm still talk with Logan.
- 19:41He asked me if I want to ride up with him to a camp leaf frog.
- 19:44Show. I was like, yeah, I'm not really
- 19:46do anything, it's the pandemic, there's like nothing to do.
- 19:50So I wrote up with, I wrote up with Logan to Camp LeapFrog and
- 19:55kind of started all over again. Like hey can I help out?
- 19:58Can I do this? I did some commentary for them.
- 20:03Eventually pitched an idea of me essentially being like a Bobby
- 20:07Dempsey type Character where I was just with people that
- 20:10treated me bad. So I think that green suit.
- 20:15Yeah and I started doing some managing up there and that's how
- 20:19I got into can't believe frog up there.
- 20:21Really was just being friends with Logan and willing to keep
- 20:25him company on a long ride that that is so key to like we talked
- 20:30about that on a podcast. Maybe two, you two episodes ago
- 20:32with like we call my car, gateway drug because Mike Mike
- 20:36doesn't drive and he'll just be like, yo, I need a car ride to
- 20:40get to this next show who wants to ride and he's booked, but he
- 20:43just needs a way there. Yeah.
- 20:45And nine times out of ten men, you just take that ride with him
- 20:48and you bring a car full and wrestling companies are like,
- 20:51oh, you're here, three people didn't cancel, or, you know how
- 20:54to do this. This, and this and you can do
- 20:56commentary, and you can do this, like, yeah.
- 20:58Welcome to the team and then you're getting opportunities.
- 21:01And then you find a new needs and new little family and you're
- 21:04Off to the Races. Yeah, like that.
- 21:08That's how that's how I got up there and I had a lot of fun.
- 21:12So I kept coming back and then was getting to do some stuff
- 21:17there. And then, once again, pretty
- 21:22much my entire wrestling career, it's shuts down.
- 21:25You are the bad bug but it's not your fault or something down,
- 21:28but maybe your Yang's. Yeah, yeah, like it's every time
- 21:34it's like, oh now I got to start over thankfully at the time.
- 21:39Flying V with starting starting back up after it had kind of
- 21:44shut down for a little bit as well.
- 21:46And they asked me to do commentary with big dust who I
- 21:49love and I was super excited to do that.
- 21:52I gotta check that out. Flying be yeah, it's on.
- 21:55I WT V. Me and big dust do commentary.
- 22:01He is great. I'm just kind of I'm just there.
- 22:05He loves he loves me, but it's a lot of Us still giving
- 22:10everything that's going on. Respect and attention.
- 22:13But we're also fun, guys. So we are having fun but it's
- 22:17not jokes. Just to have jokes.
- 22:19We're not trying to overshadow the product or anything.
- 22:22Yeah. We're just having fun watching
- 22:24and telling everyone what we're seeing.
- 22:28Yeah, I just wrote that down. I'm going to check that out.
- 22:31We're they based out of Flying V.
- 22:33So that's a Maryland. They run a black box theater and
- 22:38so they tend to have like a theater audience and so they do
- 22:43put a lot of emphasis on like characters and and making things
- 22:48kind of mesh with the theater audience.
- 22:51Their last show. They did a kosho with a company
- 22:56called super art fight which is like they have two artists who
- 23:01are Just drawing on a like a sheet of paper at the same time
- 23:05and it's weird and crazy and fun.
- 23:08That sounds like something. I would absolutely love to be
- 23:11honest with you. That's yeah, amazing.
- 23:14They're incredible artist. Yeah, I fell into the sanctuary.
- 23:19I've gotta buy me. It's an old church.
- 23:21They convert it into a wrestling studio and it's one of those
- 23:23places to you walk in and you kind of look at the history and
- 23:26like holy crap. Look at the people who came
- 23:27through here. But it's kind of like, how you
- 23:29said those Dojo shows where it's Kind of like it's a venue.
- 23:32Do you want to come work? You can the guy who runs it
- 23:35literally is losing money, every month, just keeping the building
- 23:38a float. So we can't pay anybody but it's
- 23:40a good place that the lights look good.
- 23:42They will cameras look good, their Productions good and you
- 23:44can get your footage because it's on YouTube, right then and
- 23:46there alive, you know and it's a good way to get your resume
- 23:49upswell to because that's what you brought up is to is a really
- 23:53good point when it comes to this business, like you go and work
- 23:56your ass off at a school, or you go, work yourself up in a
- 23:58company and then some promoters. Is a is a, is a juror ball or
- 24:04something crazy shit happens. And then you lose your entire
- 24:06category, our catalog. And now you can't promote
- 24:09yourself because no one knows who you are, because that's a
- 24:13huge thing to when you take a step back and the independent
- 24:15wrestling scene is, you are one in a million like, you think
- 24:18wrestling in General on TV is Big Independence, three times as
- 24:21big and it's everyone trying to fight and Claw on their way up
- 24:24to the next level. And that's why one like company,
- 24:28shut down. And then like you're like oh
- 24:30well the entire catalog is now Erase because that person was so
- 24:33bad. Like we can't show their footage
- 24:35anymore and I kind of I'm all I'm kind of in that boat were
- 24:38like I get it that person shouldn't get paid like because
- 24:41we don't want to support them but the work that the people put
- 24:45in in the ring, shouldn't be shut down or shut off or like
- 24:49because that's what it's for them.
- 24:50That's that's opportunities for them to Showcase what they can
- 24:53do, you know. Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:56Yeah, but yeah. Also Virginia, seen as you work
- 25:00with, besides like a nylon Laura Logan, that we may know.
- 25:06So at our school, Christian York was my head trainer from ECW,
- 25:17which he wasn't, he was kind of by name the head trainer, but he
- 25:22was there for a little bit and then mainly, John Kerman was was
- 25:28my trainer who I think he's great.
- 25:31I think he could have done more, he had a few hours, Eh matches.
- 25:37I think he was in ECW as Herman, the German or ecwa, I'm sorry.
- 25:42Yeah, yeah. I got to meet Jonny Fairplay.
- 25:47He loved my gimmick at the time. Well, what were you doing there?
- 25:53So I had a cut-off poison shirt and then just bright green
- 25:57pants. So not the full bodysuit, I was
- 26:01in my jewelry like that green. That's that's my signature
- 26:07that's why I mean that's why I bought the green body suit is I
- 26:10bought a silver one but I was like well I used to wear the
- 26:13green, so if I ever have to do something, And then like and and
- 26:18then just I was like, What if I just tried to wear the weirdest
- 26:20outfits possible? We always joked around.
- 26:24I was like what if we had a production to just green screen
- 26:27different outfits on you because you had the more suit like if we
- 26:30were just good enough with CGI in special effects like put you
- 26:34in different things and and I would have loved it.
- 26:39I think there was the last Halloween special not like the
- 26:43high-tension one but the previous one.
- 26:46It was like they were I got murdered because of course I
- 26:50did. Yeah.
- 26:52Is that what you we drowned you in the pool?
- 26:53No, that was killing Vision which is fantastic.
- 26:56Yeah it was the first time I got to use my GoPro and water.
- 26:59So that was kind of fun. They're like we need to shoot a
- 27:01water scene. I was like I have a GoPro
- 27:04because I have everything in my car.
- 27:05Yeah it was like the joke is Blackwell has literally anything
- 27:08of equipment wise in his trunk of his car.
- 27:10Like I have a GoPro and then we stand Devon under the water and
- 27:14then he filmed you dying and yeah.
- 27:15Yeah, and then killing and she was asking me if I can stay
- 27:19underwater longer, what if you just did it longer this time?
- 27:24What'll be just legit round. Yeah, but then, but then but
- 27:28then the, the next, the Halloween episode I got, I got
- 27:32murdered and I was like, well, what if we had the villain just
- 27:36like, I'm in my green suit and he's just holding me by the
- 27:39head. And then you CGI like my body
- 27:44out of it, with the, with the green suit.
- 27:47But I don't think they were able to make it work, but I was like,
- 27:49yeah, we're not that we weren't that good yet.
- 27:51On the production side is like, well let's film it.
- 27:55If you can give it a go and see if it works but yeah and spend
- 27:58too much time on it. Yeah.
- 28:00Yeah. We are still in the very early
- 28:02stages of production. It's crazy.
- 28:04Honestly, what what they were able to accomplish and then me
- 28:08coming in later on because I had no, No idea what I was doing to
- 28:12come to video editing. And I think the first thing I
- 28:14was thrown into is frog Sport and then the like, all right, we
- 28:17did these matches and do this, this, this, and this.
- 28:19And I was like, I had to learn how to put the ball and then we
- 28:22did the WCW video games, where was like photos?
- 28:26And then it would play like a little.
- 28:28I'm going to beat you up and then a pause, and then the next
- 28:30word play. And I was like, I have no.
- 28:32And I learned I'd like YouTube and because I didn't want to,
- 28:35like, tell people, I don't know what I was doing and I also want
- 28:37an opportunity and I wanted to get good and better and be a
- 28:40part of it so that I can Do this is like yeah no problems like
- 28:44how do I do this? Yeah work it.
- 28:48No one no one, no one seemed to not hate what I did and people
- 28:52liked it when it aired so fake it till you make it brother.
- 28:58I mean, that's what that's just what everyone's doing.
- 29:00Yeah, every single person like inner commentary, bro.
- 29:04I've been commentary since I'm born.
- 29:06You're like first show ever that?
- 29:08Like, that's another thing like my like Sometimes I regret the
- 29:12school. I did choose their train at
- 29:15because really, we just kind of learned the basics and like, a
- 29:18lot of it was bumping and selling and then like we would,
- 29:22we would learn how to, like put together a match but like, I
- 29:26wasn't taught a lot of moves. So whenever someone wanted to do
- 29:33a move I'm like, yeah. Sure.
- 29:35How do I take that? And it's just like, just let me
- 29:37know. I'll do it.
- 29:39And like, because because I have to pay like, if there was two
- 29:44things I learned, it was how to bump and how to sell and like
- 29:49wrestling was just getting out of the era.
- 29:52When like, you needed to be able to do a lot of moves,
- 29:55essentially. And like, all I really wanted to
- 29:59do was I wanted to be a big guy who just got squashed like, Like
- 30:07that in comedy matches. But like, yeah, it was just,
- 30:10like, squash matches, especially on the Indies were gone at this
- 30:13point and it's just like, how do we never put you in ABS
- 30:18together? I to big giant, take a lot of
- 30:22losses and, and like, yeah, you and abs in an Iron Man match,
- 30:27that just because, no one can actually beat the other one
- 30:31would have been gold. Yeah, like I was like, yeah.
- 30:34Like I always do Probably withdrawal every time.
- 30:44But yeah, like essentially like a eventually my character like
- 30:47just like what if I'm just a wrestler, who doesn't know how
- 30:50to wrestle? I love that.
- 30:52And it's like anything I do is surprising to me.
- 30:59That's a great character and that's the thing is sometimes
- 31:01when you take herself less serious, and just go out and
- 31:03have fun. That's the stuff that sticks to
- 31:05people man, like that's that's the moments of people like, oh,
- 31:08that's hilarious, that's funny. That's what I want to keep
- 31:10watching is sometimes when it gets goofy, you know, and then
- 31:13Some people, listen, the cornet and they hate it because he told
- 31:16you not to like it, but that's neither here nor there but like,
- 31:19it makes sense. Yeah.
- 31:20Like and in cornets World, it makes sense that like oh, this
- 31:24guy doesn't know how to wrestle. Exactly, that's the character I
- 31:28don't make. The character makes sense and
- 31:31you'll be fine. Yeah, so talking about the Nile
- 31:36eyes. Like I was bombed, I think I
- 31:37missed her by a year and a half like by the time I was just
- 31:41getting in. She was breaking into like the a
- 31:43Aw side of things. But every single person I know
- 31:46that worked with with her said she's amazing and giant nerd and
- 31:50had just been fun to conversate with all the pop culture stuff.
- 31:53Because that's another thing I love at wrestling shows is just
- 31:55like in the down time when people aren't talking wrestling
- 31:57and we're just sitting around talking, like, video games and
- 31:59movies and horror movies and just stupid shit for hours.
- 32:04But yeah, so LeapFrog, not a lot of people know to is your kind
- 32:09of a little bit of an unsung hero with LeapFrog.
- 32:10You're you're you're helping a lot on the back of the things as
- 32:14well still to this day. You're still helping out with a
- 32:15lot. All right.
- 32:18I'd try and I would do notice. Trust me it's definitely noticed
- 32:23your keep it. You're keeping the spirit alive
- 32:24without even people knowing it's you doing it.
- 32:26But I wanted to give you your roses there LeapFrog.
- 32:29Looks like it's pot. It's looking like it's slowly
- 32:33rising from the ashes. This is like Christmas trios.
- 32:35We got a little trios actions which was a little nod.
- 32:38And then we had some storylines telling of who's going to be in
- 32:41charge of Camp LeapFrog and that kind of culminated if you want
- 32:44to go check it out, it is free right now on YouTube, go watch,
- 32:47Christmas tree, owes over on Camp on high tension wrestling
- 32:51YouTube channel. I will put the link in the chat
- 32:53in one second here that you guys can go and subscribe and check
- 32:56it out. Let me yeah, don't watch it
- 32:58right now y-yeah not right now. Don't they'll watch this first
- 33:01and then go back and check it out.
- 33:03But you can definitely go and subscribe.
- 33:05There are currently sitting at 257 subscribers, so if we can
- 33:09get them, a bump and get more people to check them out.
- 33:11That be unbelievable. And I would love you guys
- 33:13forever, but absolutely. Yeah, a lot of cool stuff coming
- 33:17there soon and a lot of opportunities to see some really
- 33:20good matches that you guys may be missed out on with I WT V.
- 33:24That'll maybe some of them Swift shifting, over and opportunities
- 33:27for you guys to see some fun stuff because there has been a
- 33:30lot of Great Moments. I can't believe frog, but I
- 33:33That's what I want to propose to you.
- 33:35Here next is what were some of your favorite moments.
- 33:38I can't believe frog even if they didn't involve you, just
- 33:41some matches that stand out or some feuds or anything like
- 33:43that. I mean, Killian Vision was
- 33:46fantastic. Everything they did with.
- 33:49That was great. I me dying was one thing, but
- 33:54like everything else, with how they made every match, feel
- 33:58different feel like a different error was great.
- 34:02And then like the wish to that shows spectacular.
- 34:06It's it like it'll make you cry. It's it's that good.
- 34:12The goons are gold, man. They're just good at what they
- 34:15do and they deserve everything. They get because they put the
- 34:19work in. Yeah yeah.
- 34:23And like I'm thankful for them because I think like them going
- 34:26to LeapFrog and and me just thinking of a dumb bit to go up
- 34:31and say to them, I think Got me to connect with dust.
- 34:36I had no Neil for a little bit as well but that helped me get
- 34:40probably the Flying V job but essentially I just went up to
- 34:43him and I was like hey can I join the go?
- 34:46Ons. And they're like, what?
- 34:48I was like, can I join the go ons?
- 34:52You know, and like it took him a second to figure it out and
- 34:57like, what I'd been waiting, like monster, say it to, and I
- 35:01was it was so happy and it landed.
- 35:03Yeah. I love watching them put matches
- 35:06together because usually nine ninety percent of the time,
- 35:09they're all just they're not even characters.
- 35:12That's just who they are in real life.
- 35:15But like you see people put them out.
- 35:16Stealing our, we're going to do the lock-up and here and then
- 35:19they have like every special spectacular name for everything
- 35:22and then like you see them at the goes but a man's together
- 35:25and they're like, all right things like I'm gonna put you
- 35:27here and I'm going to get you the WAP and the Bing and the
- 35:29bow. And the dust is like the Bing,
- 35:31the bow, then the and they're legit putting them out together,
- 35:34but they're just. So like they're just always
- 35:37entertaining. They should always have cameras
- 35:39on them. They're funny as fuck.
- 35:41But yeah, the aisle. I what I miss about Lee fraud
- 35:45was filming. It was Was I liked filming the
- 35:48matches and doing commentary but almost taking a camera.
- 35:51Be like, you know, go off. And you're going to help these
- 35:53people film a bit. They were just as fun as any
- 35:56wrestling things we did. Like watching people try to put
- 35:59bits together and like I'm I was super happy that I got picked to
- 36:02do the the Friday skit with Julius and I got the film that.
- 36:08So like acting like I was getting knocked out and then
- 36:11rolling with the cat like it was so much fun and any time you get
- 36:15to work with CC boo Moose and and his crew as well as Julius
- 36:19smokes is going to be absolute fucking blast of a time.
- 36:23Yeah. I think I think that's part of
- 36:25the reason like I fit in so. Well there was that like their
- 36:30the wrestling was there but like we were essentially just
- 36:35shooting B. Mmm, like it was like Saturday
- 36:38Night Live meets wrestling. So like a bit that a wrestling
- 36:40mats and a bit that a wrestling match and it was fun.
- 36:43Yeah. And like that like because
- 36:47essentially that time period when I wasn't doing wrestling
- 36:49for a while like I got into stand-up like I know how
- 36:53sketches work I know bits and things like that, so like even
- 36:57if like I wasn't like even the first time I was there all I was
- 37:02was like a background in whatever but I would new like
- 37:05when to pitch something and like how to make something work or
- 37:08funny. Yeah so like that got me some
- 37:11credit there and eventually moved.
- 37:13Where is it? Was just a wrestling show.
- 37:15It's like harder to just pitch something to get.
- 37:19Get yourself credit for, for knowing what to do.
- 37:22And that was a good thing about LeapFrog to is there.
- 37:25Everybody was very receptive of that.
- 37:26Like I remember my first show was the Frog Sport, and I
- 37:29remember being there and I was just like, Alex, do you think of
- 37:32they tried this? I would make sense like cuz I'm
- 37:34what I love MMA and I was like instead of people, like kind of
- 37:37sitting in the corner. Like, if you have people like
- 37:39black stream, whose legit trained producing Jutsu in
- 37:42somebody else like yo-yo, who's Is to training like kickboxing,
- 37:45have them yell out like, past the guard look, like, and how
- 37:48you would hear in a UFC fight or an MMA fight, and they're like,
- 37:52that's a good idea. And then mccaskill.
- 37:53Yeah, here's we're going to do like so everyone was always just
- 37:56so accepting to people's input and making the show better man.
- 38:00Like it was, I know it said all the time like you know this
- 38:04Locker was better than any other locker room.
- 38:06You know I mean but it what it was like to be a part of a
- 38:10locker room like that where everyone feels valued valued and
- 38:12everyone can Tribute and everyone's able to input
- 38:15something and even if it's not good, they'll be like, hey, we
- 38:18appreciate it. But we're going to go this
- 38:19direction because maybe we're you're swerving us a little bit
- 38:22but everyone's had opportunities to put things out there and it
- 38:25was that's what made it special. Is everyone kind of you could
- 38:28watch something and every single person who is involved in the
- 38:30show even if it wasn't their match was like oh I contribute a
- 38:33little bit. They're like and it was it was
- 38:35fun now. Yeah it was it was great.
- 38:39Yeah so you said there you your kind of during the pandemic kind
- 38:42of shifted gears and start. And stand up what?
- 38:44Uh, what drove you to do that. Like how, what was the
- 38:47motivating factor. So it was longer than that.
- 38:49It was, it was when I got back from college.
- 38:51And so, there wasn't any wrestling in Virginia, in
- 38:56college, I had like lied and and told people at my school that I
- 39:01did comedy. And I got on a few shows that my
- 39:04school put on and did terrible, but, but I had written jokes.
- 39:09I think I started by saying it, like saying these jokes on
- 39:13Friend was playing, like, Call of Duty or whatever.
- 39:16When, you know, how you can always hear what people are
- 39:19saying. I was doing that, well, he was
- 39:21playing, which I'm sure everyone needed me.
- 39:24But, but I had jokes written and I had done a few shows that my
- 39:30school. I actually had it in my like
- 39:32OKCupid profile that I did comedy again because you lie on
- 39:37a dating app. Yeah.
- 39:39And and you listen, even if we're not, like if you're if
- 39:41you're not baby, Brad Pitt, man. I'll ever girls.
- 39:44I want a guy to make me laugh. So you gotta shoot your shot.
- 39:47Yeah, yeah. And so someone because on on
- 39:50that site you could just message me at least you used to could
- 39:53just message someone instead of having to like match.
- 39:56And so someone messaged me asking me if I had done this
- 39:59person show or I said, check out this person show and I was like,
- 40:03oh, and so they had an open mic. I started doing doing that open
- 40:06mic and then I started doing more and more.
- 40:09It's been quite some time like 7 years or so.
- 40:13That way, I don't know. I've been doing comedy.
- 40:16I wish I had done it before, like, starting wrestling.
- 40:19Because like afterwards, I knew so much more of how to connect
- 40:24with an audience and like, Mayola in like probably early on
- 40:31in wrestling at you're just worried about not fucking up but
- 40:35like connecting with an audience means so much more.
- 40:39Yeah. You don't even have to be
- 40:40amazing in ring. If you can, if the crowds buying
- 40:43into what you're selling, you can go all day long.
- 40:46Yeah and exhausting wasn't the greatest wrestler, but he knew
- 40:50how to work the Crowd. Oh, that's stuffs great.
- 40:55I still won it hands down. Probably my favorite thing that
- 40:57ever happened in the wrestling business.
- 40:59Like that story I can listen to that being told by 14 different
- 41:02people and just hearing everyone's little input of what
- 41:05Kaufman did. And those little things of like
- 41:07call an ambulance, I'm selling this like I'll sit in the
- 41:10hospital for three days to sell this but you know what I mean?
- 41:12Like I eat that up man. I don't know if they are still
- 41:17selling because I think they got rid of DVDs but high spots.
- 41:20Had had a DVD of like everything Kaufman did and in there and I
- 41:26picked it up for like five or ten dollars.
- 41:28I the look there in the Dynamic. But that's great to check out
- 41:32Tim Russell and random chicks when the crowd.
- 41:35Yeah. And then like the wall and like
- 41:36all the promos that he filmed and and everything.
- 41:40Yeah. Now what are some Comics that
- 41:44that, you know, that you like or that inspired you to get into
- 41:47this? So, normally Donald's problem,
- 41:51he's not number one, but he's normally the one I say, because
- 41:53he's the most well-known, he's probably number two, if that
- 41:57helps but Yeah, I loved norm and like he's probably the funniest
- 42:04person. There is yeah. 100%.
- 42:07I love norm and then there's a comedian named John doar who I'm
- 42:15handling. He had like a Comedy Central
- 42:17half hour which is fantastic that I loved and he was like
- 42:24he's not he's not like weird weird but it's just like
- 42:29Slightly different. He has some of the funniest
- 42:33Conan sets I've ever seen. Like, there's two different ones
- 42:40where him and Rory scovel are both on Conan one.
- 42:44They got double-booked and they were going to split the time
- 42:47except they just both were telling their jokes at the exact
- 42:51same time. Did you watch something on
- 42:53Netflix with a tell and Ross pumping Mike's?
- 42:57Mmm. Well, they just go up together
- 42:59and just roast each other and talk.
- 43:01It was so fucking funny. So, this is similar, but they
- 43:05could not care less at the pump. A person's next to them, they
- 43:10are saying their own jokes to do with no regard to who's next to
- 43:15them. Then there's another one where
- 43:18they like interact and Rory's like a Usher there and then they
- 43:21just start yelling back and forth and then Conan and Andy
- 43:27are like, what are you guys doing?
- 43:29And they're like, oh you think this is easy and they switch
- 43:32places with with Conan handy. It's brilliant.
- 43:38I found him because he had like a TV show in Canada called the
- 43:41John Dory show, which was airing on IFC here, and this is after
- 43:48I've gotten cable back. So I was able to see it more in
- 43:52order and pay reviews. I mean, uh, no, no, no, no.
- 43:57And I watch and like, that's what I like really started to
- 44:01like them. And I saw as Comedy Central a
- 44:02half hours, like this is great, this is something I would like
- 44:06to do, and then I was able to start doing.
- 44:10Yeah, I don't think I'd ever have the balls to do stand-up
- 44:13comedy, but I love it. I Friday nights.
- 44:17I remember like you coming out to the football game.
- 44:20I was like, now, I'm like what you mean?
- 44:21That's like I wouldn't tell anybody what he's doing, but I
- 44:23would literally stay home and watch Comedy Central presents
- 44:25because it was like every Friday, A night, and they just
- 44:27play. All those comedy specials.
- 44:29I remember, watching so many of those and then, like five, six
- 44:32years later, like those, some of the people who did those half
- 44:35hour, specials then became monsters like in the comedy feel
- 44:38like I'm never watching Dane Cook before Dane Cook became
- 44:41Dane Cook like Kevin Hart God like Donna me even though I'm
- 44:45not a really dumb guy but I never seeing all those people in
- 44:47the in the stand and those specials.
- 44:50Like this is like amazing. I remember the first one who I
- 44:53seen two people that I remember just being like I I absolutely
- 44:57love them. Well, three, I loved Patrice
- 44:59O'Neal. I was a hue.
- 45:01I loved him. I really liked Mitch Hedberg,
- 45:04unfortunately, passed away and the third.
- 45:07Wow, shit! Fuck!
- 45:09It was a third one that you killed me every time.
- 45:15I just I literally had it and I lost it, but Patrice was
- 45:17definitely very, very high up. Oh, Greg Giraldo, I love Greg
- 45:21Giraldo, I really liked him a lot too and we lost him but
- 45:24yeah, I love stand-up comedy. I think the first CD I ever
- 45:27bought was like, the Adam Sandler comedy bit CDs.
- 45:31Like, they're all going to laugh at you.
- 45:32Like, yeah, always been into comedy was like, yeah, it's so
- 45:38much fun. And then we, I had we have some
- 45:39people in our area who just started like comedy stuff help
- 45:42here. So they do like open mics, and
- 45:44it's starting to To gain some traction or a little tiny coal
- 45:46region. When I when I when I did my
- 45:49music festival, I had like six bands, three covers three
- 45:52original than to like Headliners and then in between each band, I
- 45:56had a stand-up comic go up from our local area and do a small
- 45:59set but it's definitely something that I think more
- 46:02people need to support and look into.
- 46:05And when you go there don't be that heckling piece of shit
- 46:07asshole. Yeah, I mean, I'm lucky.
- 46:11The DC areas is really big with comedy A it we don't have like
- 46:18the industry that New York or La has, or even Chicago has some
- 46:22but like, with DC, like, there's just so many quality shows that
- 46:30you can, you can do each night whereas like New York, you can
- 46:36do all those shows but they're all bad until you get on the
- 46:40good ones. Whereas like DC, like most of
- 46:44the shows are very Very good and they're still bad ones.
- 46:50But this is, this area is growing.
- 46:53A lot of people that leave our scene to go, somewhere else are
- 46:57like going on. The do big things like they're
- 47:01prepared for New York or La when when they get there.
- 47:04Yeah, actually, well, DC, I mean, maybe if you're not a fan
- 47:08of some of his most recent comedy, but I think one of the
- 47:12one of the goats, right now, when it comes to just just Just
- 47:15good at what they do. Chappelle's from the DC.
- 47:17Yeah, and it's yeah it's it's awesome and I it's a great thing
- 47:22and I think like right now I think one of the biggest things
- 47:26you'll see even if it's not in your algorithm you'll be
- 47:28scrolling through Tick-Tock or YouTube shorts.
- 47:30And a lot of its just stand up comedy like Clips like people
- 47:33flipping their stand-up comedy and I think that's really
- 47:36helping a lot of new comic people get out.
- 47:38There's this one guy from Canada who just came to America after
- 47:42the pandemic. I don't know, his whole thing is
- 47:46he like fought like watches like a girl and he'll be like what
- 47:48you looking at, what are you looking at?
- 47:50You little fucking creepy, like, follow me, you fucking idiots
- 47:53but then he like, did skids, and then he'll post his stand-up and
- 47:57the guys blowing up because of that.
- 47:59Like, it's just, I don't know, man.
- 48:01It's right now, I think is a coal generation to be in with.
- 48:04So should be like everyone hates.
- 48:06Like, I'm not getting on this or I'm not getting on that and I
- 48:08can you create content or your, your put anything out there.
- 48:12If you're not using these platforms, you're missing the
- 48:14boat. Like that's why I said, would
- 48:16like the LeapFrog and the wrestling.
- 48:17I was like, everyone wants a photographer ringside.
- 48:20And everybody wants film Crews and Productions but like, you
- 48:24should honestly at anything you do, if you're a podcaster, if
- 48:27you're a stand-up comic anything set a camera up, our just have
- 48:31someone of your buddies, come with you if you can do it and
- 48:33just put your phone on, you like ringside there should be someone
- 48:37who's just a digital media person ringside with a cell
- 48:39phone and just getting small little clips and just like, hey,
- 48:43boom, 30 Second clip of a spot during a match or this or that.
- 48:47And that should just be your Tick Tock and just pump it out
- 48:50because you never know who's going to see it.
- 48:52And it can help you blow up and get a lot new, a lot more eyes
- 48:55on your product. Yeah, of course.
- 48:56I mean it's promoting the promotion you're at and
- 49:00yourself. Yeah.
- 49:01And getting people to watch that stuff as well.
- 49:04Yeah. So if anyone in the chat has
- 49:07anything else they want to ask, we are getting close to that
- 49:09time. Is there anything skip that we
- 49:11didn't cover that you want to talk about?
- 49:14I mean, I'm sad. It's taking this long but I love
- 49:17Taco Bell. Okay, if you knew that about me
- 49:21II, am I purposely don't want to learn how to pronounce the menu.
- 49:26Because I think it's funny in my little, that's my bit with my
- 49:29wife is when we go to Taco Bell, I just wrote and I make up new
- 49:32names every time. So like I like the I can't even
- 49:35really say it now because I just, I've so used to saying it
- 49:38wrong. I can't say she just could go.
- 49:41Is it she just got home from work?
- 49:43I heard her sneaking Gordon Gordon.
- 49:45Gordita. I call him garrigues.
- 49:47I don't know why. All right, makeup, like these
- 49:50stupid names and she'll be at the drive-through, like, shut
- 49:53the fuck up. Well, that's the beauty with
- 49:57with their app. Is you don't have to pronounce
- 49:58it. He's got to go through the drive
- 50:01through and just make her embarrassed that.
- 50:03I'm just butchering names this. Like they're going to fucking
- 50:05spit in your food. $45 later with this one.
- 50:13But yeah, I love Taco Bells. Once I did have a podcast about
- 50:18it's called Taco Bell, there is an episode with Logan East and
- 50:23lauro on there. So what's that like what's the
- 50:27premise of the podcast with Taco Bell?
- 50:28Like what do you do? So we go and eat Taco Bell
- 50:31before the podcast and then we just talked about it.
- 50:34There's a, there's a little bit back story.
- 50:35Like, who are you? What not.
- 50:37But like, mainly I just go through different segments.
- 50:40I have like, how did you get into?
- 50:43How did you start eating? Taco Bell.
- 50:44L, love you should bring this back.
- 50:49I searched their Twitter to see what they were saying about Taco
- 50:51Bell and make them defend whatever they said.
- 50:56And then I make them invent a new item because that's Taco
- 51:00Bell's gimmick is there's always a new gimmick.
- 51:02Yeah. Please bring this back.
- 51:04It's like this has to be and you can even do this remote like
- 51:07like I can go to my local Taco Bell and get stuff and then you
- 51:11get it and we just eat and talk at the This can even happen.
- 51:16You don't need any. With the person, another fun
- 51:19thing is it is a Taco Bell Gauntlet.
- 51:21I don't know if you've ever had that because like the what's the
- 51:23bit and Taco Bell is usually, after you eat it, you're
- 51:26probably going to use the bathroom.
- 51:30So what you do is you get the like the taco box where it's
- 51:32like a shit ton of tacos and you just keep consuming them.
- 51:36And the last one standing, like a between a bunch of people like
- 51:39his everyone starts running and Gauntlet Style.
- 51:44People always say, Taco Bell makes you shit.
- 51:46But you know what makes you shit?
- 51:48McDonald's food food. McDonald's.
- 51:52I literally put it in and I'm like, see you later.
- 51:55I'm gone. Absolutely.
- 51:57The worst part of my night is realizing it's after 2:00 a.m.
- 52:01and I have to go to McDonald's because Taco Bell's closed.
- 52:04Yeah, that's the worst absolute worse.
- 52:06But please bring back that podcast and it's called talk
- 52:09just Taco. Taco Bell, a podcast, Taco Bell
- 52:13a podcast. As I'm concerned, you can Still
- 52:15find episodes there up there. That is amazing.
- 52:19Please bring that back skiff. I think that's genius.
- 52:21Where can people find you on social media?
- 52:24So Twitter is at just ask if you have to include the word just to
- 52:29make that clear at just skiff Instagrams.
- 52:33Just that's gift because I guess someone stole it before I could
- 52:35get it. But Twitter is the main main
- 52:38thing I use Probably the biggest way to find me.
- 52:42I promote the wrestling shows. I'm doing Flying VM, I'm doing
- 52:47commentary on all those there on iwt V and then I promote the,
- 52:52the comedy shows that I'm doing on Twitter as well.
- 52:55So if you're in the northern Virginia DC area, you can find
- 52:58that, or if you're in Texas, I'm going to be there later this
- 53:01month for for comedy. But I like the Virginia area
- 53:05because that's where all my sports teams.
- 53:06Are at all. My teams are, Virginia teams,
- 53:08I'm a Washington fan. I'm a Capitals Nationals DC
- 53:13United. That's that's like, that's my,
- 53:15that's my, that's my zen. That's my area.
- 53:17Look, the Cowboys were just practicing on Sunday.
- 53:20It's like I'm backed up by a third Stringer.
- 53:22I love to see that. Do we literally threw away our
- 53:26season on a Carson Wentz experiment?
- 53:27Like what I had never wanted. I never got so angry at a
- 53:32football team organization. I hate Dan Snyder, by the way, I
- 53:35think he should. He should be like like drawn and
- 53:39quartered through the streets of See, you're not an outlier on
- 53:42that. I just hate that human being and
- 53:45I almost not became a fan of that team because of just him
- 53:48because he just dirt ball human. But man, I went off on Twitter,
- 53:52like I'd never do that. And I was just like, hey, at
- 53:55Commander's remember that time, you could have went to the
- 53:56fucking playoffs, and you throw away our season, you scumbags
- 54:01like fun. But in the last offseason,
- 54:04Carson, Wentz felt like a good good.
- 54:07No, we didn't know, I've played an experiment living in PA.
- 54:10Play with the doll and McNabb and then they're like, we're
- 54:12going to take our some like we've done this.
- 54:14It's not going to work. Taylor Hanukkah is your guy.
- 54:16We drafted how? Well let's just roll with that.
- 54:19Nope let's bring in Carson and give him all that fucking money
- 54:21and then they're probably not even going to keep them next
- 54:23year. That we're going to take a hit
- 54:24in our cap because fucking because we had to bring them in
- 54:28annoyed. Annoying annoying.
- 54:30Hateth are you? Are you a Cowboys fan?
- 54:32I am. Oh, yeah.
- 54:33Sorry, you had all those points. But listen, it's been a great
- 54:36podcast, I'm sure. But yeah, it's just I don't
- 54:40know. The fun thing, definitely start
- 54:42making more clips of your comedy.
- 54:43You sent me the one that I thought was very entertaining,
- 54:45but I think I think we should cash in on that man.
- 54:47Start start clipping, some more, your sets and put them out there
- 54:50for people to see ya did some of that during the pandemic.
- 54:54It's just a lot of the times. It's you don't get the best
- 54:59video or you're like that. It doesn't hit quite as well as
- 55:02you wanted it to. And so you start overthinking
- 55:05things, I wish there was more of a comedy like, and I also like,
- 55:10I don't have enough time in my day to do, what I want to do and
- 55:13also help others because that's my biggest problem is I jump in
- 55:15and I can jump in here and help you guys grow and then I just
- 55:19don't help myself. But, like how wrestling showed
- 55:22need to cameraman and need good equipment.
- 55:23Just someone show up at a comedy show and just put a camera up
- 55:26there, you know what I mean? Just put a camera there and
- 55:29figure ways out to get the audio still sound good and help these
- 55:32people get seen. That's my biggest thing, man.
- 55:34As I hate when, when there's such talented independent people
- 55:37and they're not being seen by just because there's a lack of
- 55:39way of getting it done, you know?
- 55:40No, Mmm. Yeah, they the issue is like
- 55:43it's almost true to form. Like if you if you set up your
- 55:48camera, Things are going to go as good as when you don't set it
- 55:52up when you like get to stand up, you're like shoot I should
- 55:55have set it up and then when you do set it up it's like I could
- 55:59have done better. Yeah.
- 56:00Yeah. You just got to just kind of
- 56:01always have it there because you never know, but okay, I was
- 56:05gonna say it's just like trying to get the right the right
- 56:09moment and so it is a lot of filming everything and then
- 56:13trying to make sure everything is as good as it's going to be.
- 56:16Yeah, absolutely. Well the since give I want to
- 56:19thank you so much. We are coming up to that, our
- 56:21Mark, I've learned so much about you and I'm excited to see you
- 56:25more and with a high tension and the return of camp Lee frog.
- 56:29We do need the skiff and abs time limit draw bit.
- 56:34I think that needs to be a thing where just you just can't be
- 56:38each other and and the participation trophy just sits
- 56:40in limbo because nobody can lose it.
- 56:43I think that'd be a fun bit. But yeah, man and maybe one of
- 56:47these days if I'm down see The game will I'll see if it's the
- 56:51same time as a comedy things going on and come down and
- 56:53support you man. Yeah, definitely let me know.
- 56:55Thanks for having me on here. This is great.
- 56:57Any time on the door's, always open.
