- 0:07Speaker 1: Reverend Paul. Okay. Okay, oh my God. All right, we're
- 0:27switching this around just a little bit here. Uh-oh. We're
- 0:30gonna put Heidi Little on now, number 26, okay? Heidi Little.
- 0:36And the Heidi Little team, which are a lot of
- 0:40our people who have been with us for years and years.
- 0:45I would say this woman sitting over here is a
- 0:48Peace Parrots woman. She's part of our community. Her parrots
- 0:53are home. They're having a party. And it's been 20
- 0:59plus years. And I'm so happy that Gloria is here
- 1:04with us. A hugger planet. Rob, are you around somewhere?
- 1:09All these are hugger planets. They've been in the moon.
- 1:13And he has a thousand in the Met... What do
- 1:19they call that? The Metropolitan Museum. And in the United Nations.
- 1:23Robert Forensa.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Robert. Robert.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Robert, why don't you come up here? Peter, why don't
- 1:30you come up here now too, okay? And Donna, why
- 1:33don't you come up here now too, okay? Okay? All right,
- 1:36so we're going to try to bring back some of
- 1:38our people that have been with us for a long,
- 1:41long time and show our due respect. In fact, we're
- 1:46going to start. Andrew Cain, why don't you come over
- 1:49and let... Okay.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:56Speaker 1: The big-time producer, the one that really knows what he's doing,
- 2:00Rick Olfek, who we made, the last shows we made
- 2:03was with Dr. Jane Goodall. Oh, you talk.
- 2:07Speaker 4: All right, but don't leave.
- 2:08Speaker 1: You're part of it.
- 2:10Speaker 4: We're in the middle of 11 Days of Global Unity.
- 2:15It goes from September 11th through September 21st, the International
- 2:21Day of Peace. So we started it and as a
- 2:27journey from fear to hope with September 11th and then
- 2:33going to the September 21st, the International Day of Peace.
- 2:40And that 11 days we launched with Jane Goodall and
- 2:44the MC was our good friend, Paul Slatkes. So we've
- 2:50been doing this for 22 years.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Marianne Williamson.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Marianne Williamson and Jane Goodall and Amnesty International, the Million
- 3:03Voice Choir, a long list.
- 3:06Speaker 1: And In the Limelight, a former church.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Yeah, we took over the church. This is 22 years ago,
- 3:15but we've been doing it every year, and you're part
- 3:18of it, so thank you for coming and being part
- 3:22of 11 Days.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Of Global Unity.
- 3:25Speaker 4: You can find out more by going to we.net because
- 3:29it's all about we, right? We.net and 11 Days.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Of Global Unity.
- 3:37Speaker 4: And part of the team up here is Andrew Cain
- 3:43and Heidi Little, who's been part of the We the
- 3:48World team all this time for many years. And she's
- 3:52going to be performing as well. But I wanted to
- 3:56mention Andrew Cain because he was part of the launch
- 4:01team with Paul Slatkes and all of the folks like
- 4:06Jane Goodall and Marianne Williamson. So let's go to Andrew
- 4:12Cain who has an award that you're going to be
- 4:17talking about.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Yes, I am Andrew Cain, founder of PlanetHeart's annual World
- 4:24Peace Earth Day celebration, and it is my honor to
- 4:28present this award to Reverend Susana Bacirica, celebrating the 25th
- 4:33anniversary of the Vigil for Peace and Ecology. The Vigil
- 4:37began as an annual gathering in Central Park in celebration
- 4:40of the International Day of Peace, bringing people together for peace, unity,
- 4:45and our beloved planet. Reverend Susanna couldn't be with us today,
- 4:49so I'm honored to accept this award on her behalf. Congratulations,
- 4:53Reverend Susanna, and thank you for her extraordinary dedication of peace.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Okay, that's a beautiful, it says honoring Susie, actually it's
- 5:06Reverend Susie Basterica, 25 years of leadership vigil for peace
- 5:10and ecology, September 21st, 2026. Andrew Cain, who happens to
- 5:15like my salmon burgers, and Planet Heart. I will also say, though,
- 5:20that I would not be here if it wasn't for
- 5:24Reverend Susanna Basterica and James Cannings. So Susanna contacted me
- 5:3120-plus years ago, 24, 25, 16,000 years ago, and said
- 5:34to me, would you host? This event, which we used
- 5:43to do in the band show in Central Park, okay?
- 5:46And they would be shows that would start at 9
- 5:49in the morning. We'd have like... I don't know. I
- 5:53don't even know if we had microphones. And then we
- 5:56would have... We would just... Maybe... of Gloria with the
- 5:59peace parrots, and then we'd have booths, and it just
- 6:03was a free-for-all for peace. It was called the Vigil
- 6:07for Peace, because she worked at the UN, and she
- 6:10taught me about the International Day of Peace, and then
- 6:13we continued on, and this is where we are, and
- 6:16without her and James Cannings and all these lovely people,
- 6:20this day would not occur, and without the audience and
- 6:23the community. It's a community, local, yokel show. All right.
- 6:29Thank you. Thank you. Would you like to say, everybody
- 6:32just say a little quickie, quickie, quickie.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Hi, I'm Elle Pellegrino of Age New Beginnings. And when
- 6:38I met Susan Basarica, it was a magical experience, full
- 6:43of love. We have all gone to the UN. We've
- 6:46all done many different things of supporting peace. And when
- 6:50you have ever experienced one of her events in Central Park,
- 6:55the most exquisite people in the world, just like this
- 6:57incredible gentleman right here.
- 7:00Speaker 7: I'm so happy to support Paul.
- 7:04Speaker 1: He is a man of peace.
- 7:07Speaker 4: And Rick and all of my friends, we are here
- 7:10for peace.
- 7:10Speaker 1: May peace prevail on Earth. Beautiful. Robert Perenza, who unbelievably
- 7:16Got a new car. And thank God he got his
- 7:18new car, because his new car was able to bring
- 7:21the piano here today, and the microphones here today, and
- 7:26the stools back here. Remember, Ohm is going to go
- 7:29on at 5.30, God willing, and we're just moving along.
- 7:34And Robert has created... What did you do? What did
- 7:40I do?
- 7:41Speaker 8: I brought him down here 50 times for Earth Day
- 7:45and Peace Day. I've been making these for over 45 years.
- 7:56Almost every ambassador at the UN has gotten one or
- 7:59bought one at the bookstore. Every president since Jimmy Carter.
- 8:03The one we're dealing with now did not get one.
- 8:08And it's been up on the space station since 2005,
- 8:11I think. And it probably came over us once or
- 8:17twice while we've been here.
- 8:20Speaker 1: And that's about a little over 100,000 orbits, my Earth,
- 8:23and there's a moon and a Mars.
- 8:26Speaker 8: New York City school system uses this.
- 8:28Speaker 1: In their resolving conflict program.
- 8:31Speaker 8: If my New York friends out there want to contribute
- 8:35to the Morningside Center at St. John's Divine, they are
- 8:39a big reason I'm still here and the.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Hug of Planets are still here. And before some.
- 8:46Speaker 8: Of our other mayors in here, they already had 10
- 8:49years and crime has dropped in New York since the
- 8:54New York students have them. So that program has gone around.
- 8:58And I could go on for hours, but here you go, Paul.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Come on, you couldn't do that. What are you kidding?
- 9:04You could never do that. Okay, Robert has so much
- 9:07in him, he has so much to share, just like
- 9:09everybody on this stage, okay? These are all do-gooders, and
- 9:13that's a beautiful thing. Quickly, there's a television. Anybody ever
- 9:20hear of television? All right, what is that over there? Hello, everybody.
- 9:25Speaker 9: My name is Peter Rogina, and what you see here
- 9:28is Peace Lights. Peace Lights was co-created with Eileen Felix
- 9:32in 2015. These flowing lights have played all around the
- 9:36world and symbolized peace. They've been adopted by peace organizations
- 9:40from 19 countries as their international symbol of peace. The
- 9:44colors represent the different cultures in the world. Not the countries,
- 9:49not the religions, not the races, but the cultures. The
- 9:52motion represents how those cultures interact and work together to
- 9:56achieve harmony and peace and good energy. It says the
- 10:00word peace lights in 55 different languages. We always chose
- 10:04the holiest form of the word light. That was like
- 10:06seven or eight languages. And finally, it's kind of known
- 10:10for its good energy. Wherever peace lights plays around the world,
- 10:13people are encouraged to project their own thoughts and intents
- 10:15for peace into the lights and add to the collective energy. Now,
- 10:19Peace Lights has literally played on seven continents. It was
- 10:21brought to Antarctica last year by a retired Marine and
- 10:24his retired Air Force wife. And it's played over 100
- 10:29times at United Nations-related events, 12th time here today, and
- 10:33has led to other NGOs that are now in 30
- 10:35countries in Africa. And it's always great to be here.
- 10:38Thank you very much to Paul and all of the organizers,
- 10:41all the people behind me, and Susana Bastarica's involvement in
- 10:45the Vigils for Peace. We're very, very early involved and
- 10:49made a big difference to the trajectory of Beastlights.
- 10:52Speaker 1: So thank you very much.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Great.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Thank you, Peter. Thank you, Peter.
- 10:55Speaker 10: All right.
- 10:55Speaker 1: A new friend. This guy's an interesting friend. All right.
- 11:00He's doing something called blockchain and Bitcoin.
- 11:04Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:04Speaker 1: How many people have a Bitcoin and they bought it
- 11:07for $ 1, 000 or $ 50 or they bought it for $ 2, 000?
- 11:09Do I hear three? Do I hear four? Do I
- 11:11hear five? Who has a Bitcoin? Oh, do I hear 10?
- 11:18Do I hear 50?
- 11:21Speaker 10: 100?
- 11:22Speaker 1: No, it was 100. These people are hurting. It now
- 11:25went down to 80. Okay, so let's... No. Okay, so
- 11:32he has this whole conference. He has this conference called...
- 11:37Tell us about it. He did it right here at
- 11:39the Hard Rock. We had the lovely bling ladies come
- 11:43over and perform. I spoke. It was nice. I tried
- 11:48to get a Bitcoin out of everybody in the room.
- 11:51I did not succeed. So this is your chance to
- 11:55tell your community that International Day of Peace needs to
- 11:59give me a Bitcoin and Maria, who's now here, Maria,
- 12:03who's talking to Michelle, a Bitcoin, and Michelle, a Bitcoin,
- 12:08and Sonny, a Bitcoin, and my wife, wherever she is,
- 12:11and everybody else in this room. All right, go ahead.
- 12:13I have to see what you do now.
- 12:16Speaker 7: Well, thank you so much, Paul. It's a real honor
- 12:18to be here with everybody. And, you know, we've been
- 12:20interviewing people and singing. And, you know, guys, it's a
- 12:24really amazing moment that's being put together here by Paul Slackus,
- 12:29led by Paul Slackus, the United Nations International Day for Peace,
- 12:33the Pause the World for Peace concert. So hats off
- 12:36to you, Paul Slackus, for making this all happen. We
- 12:40just did Blockchain Week. Blockchain Week UNGA edition, and we
- 12:45did it right here in Times Square and some other
- 12:48different locations as well.
- 12:50Speaker 2: And the reason we put.
- 12:51Speaker 7: It together was because we saw that or we felt
- 12:54that people didn't have a voice. And we wanted people,
- 12:57normal people, to have a voice. And that's kind of
- 12:59what blockchain is all about. Distributed ledger, being able to
- 13:03hold your own keys, hold your own money. So it's blockchainweek.ai.
- 13:08And peace in the community is really important in the
- 13:12blockchain community.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I always say, as we.
- 13:15Speaker 7: grow and work together and learn that across borders, across
- 13:20race and religion and creed, we all believe in the
- 13:23same things. We believe in freedom, privacy, and we believe
- 13:26in ownership. And those three things we can agree on.
- 13:28Speaker 9: And we don't have to agree on.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Anything else, but we can agree on those three things
- 13:33and work together to make the world a better place.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And I'm really honored and I'm humbled. You gave me
- 13:38the mic, sir. Paul Slackus.
- 13:40Speaker 7: Check us out. We'll be back again next year, blockchainweek.ai.
- 13:45Blockchain Week, UNGA edition. Thank you so much.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Okay, Bruce, thank you. Listen, I want to add one
- 13:50thing about blockchain and this new AI and new technologies
- 13:56and so on and so forth. Because I've spoke a
- 13:58couple times about it. I don't know that much about it.
- 14:02My wife knows more than I do. But one of
- 14:06the things that I spoke about since we do Earth Day,
- 14:10we're concerned about Mother Earth. we're concerned about the environment,
- 14:14and we're gonna soon have a whole environmental outreach here,
- 14:18is that one of the things that is of interest
- 14:22is the fact that we potentially won't need money if
- 14:29more blockchain and use of Bitcoin and use of electronic
- 14:36media money occurs. Think of all the money. I don't
- 14:43know the statistic, but how much paper made of cotton
- 14:49or linen is used for money? Then nickel, that's a
- 14:55natural resource. You gotta dig it up to make a nickel, okay?
- 15:00And so on and so forth. So there is some advantages.
- 15:03We also know there's some concerns. Data centers are being
- 15:06talked about, worrying about the pollution, water, and so on,
- 15:11electrical usage. But let's all pray, let's pray, because it's here,
- 15:17and I don't think it's going anywhere, AI. Let's pray
- 15:21that it gets resolved. Let's pray the data centers end
- 15:24up in technically an advanced way that they don't need
- 15:29so much electricity. Let's pray that either they put it
- 15:33up in the sky and it doesn't fall down on
- 15:35our heads. Whatever these things are, let's pray that some
- 15:40of our new technology comes along with consciousness. This is
- 15:46a show about consciousness. Om's whole show will be about
- 15:51calming of the brain, calming of your mind, calming of
- 15:55your being. Let's all take a breath. We're going to
- 16:01do something for our ancestors now. Donna. I'm not going
- 16:08to forget Heidi. I love Heidi. Use this mic. We're
- 16:13going to do something. Please explain what it's all about.
- 16:16They saved my life twice. What do they call that place?
- 16:22Mount Sinai.
- 16:23Speaker 11: Hello, my name is Donna Tsufuda-Dariaco, and I honor these
- 16:29peace efforts by all the people here, and especially Paul,
- 16:33for bringing us together as a family for peace. So
- 16:36I work with many, many NGOs, and I know the
- 16:38power of culture to bring us all together. So we
- 16:42are here. I'm here to celebrate... that our ancestors, with
- 16:48all of us, and we're going to do this with
- 16:50a little dance. It's from a Japanese ceremony, Obon, from
- 16:54the Obon Festival, that honors ancestors. We welcome the spirit
- 16:57of our ancestors, and they have many dances and powerful drumming,
- 17:02and one of the dances is Tankobushi, the coal miners dance, okay?
- 17:08And so we're going to do just a little excerpt
- 17:11from it. And I would love for everyone to join in.
- 17:14You in the audience can either stand up or in
- 17:18the chair and follow with the movements. And it's a
- 17:21way to think of somebody you love who have contributed
- 17:25to your life and to the world.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And we're honoring them with this dance. Okay?
- 17:31Speaker 1: All right.
- 17:32Speaker 2: And we have Layla here.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Layla Lula.
- 17:35Speaker 11: And she will be just providing an excerpt of the song.
- 17:40Speaker 10: Okay?
- 17:41Speaker 1: All right.
- 17:42Speaker 7: And, oh, wait.
- 17:43Speaker 12: Here, I'll just.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Here, wait.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Quickly, I'll show you. Can you hold the mic?
- 17:47Speaker 11: Yeah, hold the mic. I just want to show you
- 17:49the dance really quickly.
- 17:50Speaker 4: So it's shovel.
- 17:52Speaker 13: Wait.
- 17:53Speaker 10: Shovel. Shovel.
- 17:55Speaker 14: Shovel.
- 17:56Speaker 12: Shovel.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Roll the ball.
- 17:58Speaker 12: Roll the ball.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Wipe your sweat. Wipe your sweat. Push the cart. Push
- 18:04the cart.
- 18:06Speaker 8: Oh, God.
- 18:07Speaker 1: All right, everybody, come on. Show me what you got.
- 18:09Come on. Yeah, get up. We need some exercise. Anyway,
- 18:12do you know if you climb steps, if you live
- 18:14in a place that you climb steps, you have a
- 18:1640% better chance of having a healthy heart. So instead
- 18:21of taking escalators, walk upstairs and walk up to the
- 18:26top of the Statue of Liberty, walk up to the
- 18:29top of the Empire State Building.
- 18:42Speaker 2: The moon is out, the moon is out.
- 18:46Speaker 15: The moon is out, the moon.
- 18:48Speaker 10: Is out, the moon is out, the moon is out.
- 18:55Speaker 12: Thank you so much.
- 18:58Speaker 2: It was tankou bushi.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 19:24Speaker 11: And we hope that this will be at the Olympics
- 19:26closing ceremony. So put your energy for that. For all
- 19:30the world to come and dance the Tonka Pushy. Athletes
- 19:33on the field, fans in the stands, whoo! And everyone
- 19:35around the world at the same time. So put that
- 19:38energy toward that.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Thank you! Domo arigato. All right, so this is going
- 19:42to be at the Tokyo Olympics, okay? So you're getting
- 19:45a little head start here. And if you could do it,
- 19:49wipe the sweat. Wipe the sweat. Okay, all right. Now,
- 19:53our dear friend, Heidi Little, is going to thank you, everybody.
- 19:57Let's give everybody, let's give them all applause. Because they've
- 20:00been doing this all with us for 20 years, and
- 20:04it could not be, it couldn't happen. And you got
- 20:06one of the greatest photographers sitting there with a dog.
- 20:09Rose Billings, okay? And next to her is Gerard. And
- 20:13this guy is super. Black Tie Magazine. One serious, serious
- 20:18magazine with a darn good person. And Kathy is still here.
- 20:21She's going to play the piano soon. But in a
- 20:24little bit, she fills up Carnegie Hall, okay? So stick around.
- 20:28And that's just us. And then the Ohm Group, which
- 20:31is still us, keeps going and going and going. So
- 20:35Heidi will be doing her thing. Hello, Heidi.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Hello, Heidi.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Okay, so, Kaia, I think is her name. Let's wait
- 21:06a second, we're gonna get a reverb-y mic, okay? I'll
- 21:11give our friend Heidi, let me say something about Heidi, okay?
- 21:14She's one of those people, she's one of those people
- 21:18that will drive up here from Austin, Texas, okay? Does
- 21:23anybody know where Austin, Austin? Last time was, she was
- 21:30in Nashville doing some shows. She's part of the We
- 21:33The World Tour, which is part of Rick Ulfic and
- 21:36the WE organization. Who would drive half of the America
- 21:41to be here to sing one, two songs, okay? She's
- 21:49milking me. No, two songs, okay? Who would do that?
- 21:53I mean, come on. And what? She receives credit? Oh,
- 22:01she's the greatest? She is the greatest. I love her dearly. Plus,
- 22:04she's helping young people, helping those that are in need,
- 22:08those that are challenged children. She's no fooling around woman.
- 22:13She gets it done. She made one of our logos.
- 22:16She's unbelievably fantastic. And she deserves a little more reverb,
- 22:23so it sounds like six Heidis. All right, we're doing
- 22:28really well here. We're doing really well. We still have,
- 22:32Andreas is gonna come up here. He's gonna tell a
- 22:34little lamb story soon. And it's an environmental story, which
- 22:39is interesting. We're gonna have the American Oriental Arts Foundation.
- 22:44That's gonna happen soon with Alice Liu and my wife,
- 22:51Ivy Ma. And David Katzmeyer's gonna talk. And we're gonna
- 22:56show a Dr. Jane Goodall video. And then we're going
- 23:00to have Luma, Valon, she's going to do something. And
- 23:03Kathy is going to do something before then. And I
- 23:07kind of think, oh, well, I guess they're not going
- 23:09to do another show. But we were going to have
- 23:12the bling do some more. But I think they have
- 23:16to go on a plane and fly away back to Chicago. Okay,
- 23:21Heidi Little, but I don't know if you have your mic,
- 23:24but you want to talk without a mic. You can
- 23:26tell them, you can do the whole thing. You should
- 23:28be doing the whole thing. I love you. I love you, too.
- 23:33Speaker 16: Isn't this guy fantastic? Thank you, Paul Sladkis and Times
- 23:36Square New York and all y'all for being here. God
- 23:38bless you.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Yay.
- 23:41Speaker 16: So my name is Heidi Little, and I decided a
- 23:46couple of weeks ago I was going to move into
- 23:48Aria Lightness, which is a stage name that I made
- 23:51for a musical in 2017. So I'm a part of
- 23:56something called We The World Tour. And for the last
- 23:5930 years, I kind of pioneered social-emotional learning in 1993,
