- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:03Speaker 1: it all means.
- 0:05Speaker 2: He s marks amone on seven tenor.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, it's almost Friday. I'm getting there. Hey, a lot
- 0:17Speaker 1: to get to. We'll get to the King's visit yesterday.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Not a single no Kings sign anywhere. We'll get to
- 0:24Speaker 1: your own Powell. We'll get to a ran, We'll get
- 0:26Speaker 1: to James Comy, We'll get to a crazy mom Donnie,
- 0:29Speaker 1: and a whole lot more coming up. So the King
- 0:33Speaker 1: is gone. He left fast. He was here yesterday the
- 0:37Speaker 1: World Trade Center ceremony where mayor Mom Donnie, I guess
- 0:43Speaker 1: greeted him. You know, if you met the king, what
- 0:49Speaker 1: the hell do you talk to him about? I mean,
- 0:50Speaker 1: I've actually talked to him a few times here and there.
- 0:53Speaker 1: There's not much to talk to him about. He loves clothes,
- 0:55Speaker 1: if you want to talk about Turnbull and Asser and
- 0:58Speaker 1: where he gets a suit. He loves talking about that.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Outside of that, there's not much. But you're supposed to be,
- 1:03Speaker 1: you know, warm and welcome to our country. We are
- 1:06Speaker 1: so happy to have you here. Whatever Mom, Donnie would
- 1:11Speaker 1: what would he do if he met the king? What
- 1:13Speaker 1: would he say to him?
- 1:14Speaker 2: If I was to speak to the king separately from that,
- 1:17Speaker 2: I would probably encourage him to return the coin or diamond.
- 1:23Speaker 1: The glen or diamond is some something back when Britain
- 1:27Speaker 1: had colonized everything with some diamond in India that Britain
- 1:32Speaker 1: still possesses. And you know, of all the issues you
- 1:37Speaker 1: could talk to Britain about, out of all the major
- 1:40Speaker 1: issues they're supporting us in Iran, there's a million issues
- 1:45Speaker 1: we have with Britain.
- 1:46Speaker 2: If I was to speak to the king separately from that,
- 1:49Speaker 2: I would probably encourage him to return the coin or diamond.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I guarantee you he didn't know where the hell the
- 1:55Speaker 1: claim art diamond is or what it is. And when
- 1:59Speaker 1: first of all, when he met you could see the
- 2:00Speaker 1: look on his face when he met Mom Donnie. He
- 2:04Speaker 1: kind of looked at everybody and who is this? And
- 2:08Speaker 1: they had Mayor Bloomberg there, I think as they needed
- 2:11Speaker 1: an actual adult to talk to the king. So it's
- 2:15Speaker 1: pretty embarrassing. Mom Donnie was somewhere there on the sidelines.
- 2:18Speaker 1: But it was Mayor Bloomberg who laid the reef with
- 2:21Speaker 1: the king. It was Mayor Bloomberg who talked to him,
- 2:25Speaker 1: who was basically the host of this whole thing. Now,
- 2:28Speaker 1: Mayor Bloomberg has quite a relationship with Great Britain. Bloomberg
- 2:33Speaker 1: has major, major offices in London, has for years, Bloomberg
- 2:36Speaker 1: has lived in London, has always had a place there,
- 2:40Speaker 1: very very very big on Great Britain. So and if
- 2:44Speaker 1: Mom Donnie had to ad said to him, returned the
- 2:48Speaker 1: later diamond, I'm sure the King would have looked at
- 2:52Speaker 1: him and said, no, what a silly thing. I mean,
- 2:58Speaker 1: this guy's the mayor of New York. How the hell
- 3:01Speaker 1: did he get to be the Mayor of New York.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Except after that they split up. Camilla went to the
- 3:06Speaker 1: library for some literary book event. They called it a
- 3:11Speaker 1: literary event, the library literary. The host showed her around
- 3:17Speaker 1: was Sarah Jessica Parker, and then there was Anna wind Tower.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I really don't think these are two great figures in
- 3:25Speaker 1: American literature. But I like the book section in the City,
- 3:28Speaker 1: the original book, but literature I don't know. So this
- 3:33Speaker 1: was the literary luncheon. Then the King went to Harlem
- 3:39Speaker 1: to look at some organic farming. And normally, when you're
- 3:43Speaker 1: the King of the Queen, they show you these things
- 3:45Speaker 1: and you got to pretend you're interested. But in this case,
- 3:48Speaker 1: it is something that Prince Charles for all those years
- 3:51Speaker 1: was very big on organic, this organic farming. He was
- 3:55Speaker 1: very green all that kind of stuff. And then I
- 3:59Speaker 1: don't know, they disappeared for a couple hours, and then
- 4:02Speaker 1: they came to Christie's Auction House in Rockefeller Center for
- 4:06Speaker 1: a big gala, a dinner auction. It was to be
- 4:13Speaker 1: a massive event and everybody was there and it was huge.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It was at Christie's, but I noticed the King and
- 4:20Speaker 1: Queen stayed about twelve minutes. They were not there that long.
- 4:24Speaker 2: You know.
- 4:24Speaker 1: It said, they'll be a cocktail reception, there'll be an auction,
- 4:28Speaker 1: they'll be a gala dinner. But if you were watching
- 4:31Speaker 1: carefully in that cocktail reception, they kind of disappeared. They
- 4:34Speaker 1: got out of there pretty fast. It didn't last long,
- 4:37Speaker 1: the whole thing. But they continued along with this great
- 4:40Speaker 1: gala dinner. And you know, interestingly, they had the state
- 4:44Speaker 1: dinner at the White House the night before and there's
- 4:49Speaker 1: a million people that were I mean not a million,
- 4:51Speaker 1: but the people were there. Put a million pictures on
- 4:53Speaker 1: Instagram of everything that happened. Brett Baar was there, Laura Ingram,
- 4:58Speaker 1: a lot of media people, Marie Barbaromo, Senator McCormick, a
- 5:02Speaker 1: lot of senators, and they all posted all the pictures
- 5:05Speaker 1: they took that night. I notice one thing. It's two
- 5:09Speaker 1: long tables, like a horseshoe kind of thing. So everybody
- 5:13Speaker 1: are these very very long tables. So most people at
- 5:18Speaker 1: the long, long table, you're miles away from the king.
- 5:22Speaker 1: And then notice people took pictures with each other, but
- 5:25Speaker 1: nobody had a picture with the king. So apparently he
- 5:27Speaker 1: just stayed up in the front, never went around greeting everybody.
- 5:32Speaker 1: But tomorrow today they're in Virginia. They'll visit a park,
- 5:38Speaker 1: a national park, they'll visit a horse farm, and you see,
- 5:43Speaker 1: you might be thinking, you'd love to be the king.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Could you imagine being the King of England? Oh my god,
- 5:48Speaker 1: the King of England. This is what you do all day.
- 5:51Speaker 1: They take you to national park and show you around,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and you've got to pretend you're interested. Then they take
- 5:57Speaker 1: you to a horse farm. I mean, you could be
- 6:01Speaker 1: interested in horses. I think she is, but you know,
- 6:06Speaker 1: after you've toured four hundred horse farms around the world,
- 6:08Speaker 1: it's not that exciting. So you got and you got
- 6:10Speaker 1: to pretend you're interested the whole time, and then I
- 6:14Speaker 1: think that's it. Yeah, then they'll leave, they'll go back
- 6:17Speaker 1: to Great Britain. I'm sure they'll be back soon. He
- 6:19Speaker 1: was actually, he's actually been here a lot. He was
- 6:22Speaker 1: here in twenty fifteen, he was here in twenty eleven,
- 6:25Speaker 1: he was here in two thousand and five. She doesn't
- 6:28Speaker 1: come that often, but it was quite an exciting visit.
- 6:34Speaker 1: It looked good. I mean, the conversation not too cinhilating,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but it looked good. Hey, Jerome Powell, he's out as
- 6:43Speaker 1: FED chairman. Kevin Warsh took one step forward yesterday to
- 6:47Speaker 1: getting confirmed. It looks like he will get confirmed. He's
- 6:50Speaker 1: a good choice. He's everybody's choice. President Trump wanted him,
- 6:53Speaker 1: and all the top guys. You know, we'll talk to
- 6:55Speaker 1: Steve Moore later about this, but Kevin Hassett and Scott
- 7:01Speaker 1: Bessant and all the top financial guys wanted Kevin Warsh.
- 7:05Speaker 1: So it'll be him now. When you take over to
- 7:08Speaker 1: the FED chairman, the other chairman leaves. Technically he's still
- 7:11Speaker 1: on the board, but he leaves. It's just tradition. Paul says,
- 7:15Speaker 1: he's not leaving. He's gonna stay on the board. Now
- 7:18Speaker 1: this is like the tenant. You can't get out. You
- 7:20Speaker 1: got to go to landlord tenant court. So this is embarrassing.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Paul's going to stay, he said it has to do
- 7:25Speaker 1: with the criminal investigation. But they've dropped the criminal investigation.
- 7:30Speaker 1: That turned it over to an inspector general, which is
- 7:33Speaker 1: the appropriate thing to do. But he still won't leave.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I've said that I will not leave the board until
- 7:37Speaker 1: this investigation is well and truly over, with transparency and finality,
- 7:42Speaker 1: and I stand by that. Yeah, now they can torture
- 7:44Speaker 1: him out. He can stay on the board, but they
- 7:48Speaker 1: can torture him out. They could just never let him
- 7:50Speaker 1: speak in the meetings. They can move his parking space
- 7:53Speaker 1: to two miles away, they can take his locker away.
- 7:57Speaker 1: They can do stuff to get him out of there.
- 7:59Speaker 1: But he's a bad guy. He's the Comy of the
- 8:03Speaker 1: FED speaking to Komy yesterday. Kombe was brought in yesterday.
- 8:10Speaker 1: He surrendered to the FED yesterday on charges he threatened
- 8:13Speaker 1: to kill the president in the Instagram post. Komy sixty
- 8:18Speaker 1: five surrendered at Federal Courthouse, Alexandria, Virginia. Now the last
- 8:22Speaker 1: time they charge, you know, they didn't get him. But
- 8:24Speaker 1: this is a little different because this is going to
- 8:27Speaker 1: be in the Eastern District of North Carolina. That's a
- 8:30Speaker 1: conservative Republican sort of US Attorney Republican sort of district,
- 8:35Speaker 1: So he won't get the crazy left wing jury that
- 8:38Speaker 1: will automatically let Comy out. So he's got a problem
- 8:41Speaker 1: with the venue. He's got Patrick Fitzgerald once again in
- 8:45Speaker 1: as his lawyer. Patrick Fitzgerald was a prosecutor a couple
- 8:52Speaker 1: of major, major cases. He was always considered a real
- 8:55Speaker 1: left wing sort of a prosecutor. But he'll be the
- 9:01Speaker 1: attorney now. I don't you know. They're both former US Attorney's,
- 9:05Speaker 1: former Justice Department. They're obviously close friends. I don't he
- 9:09Speaker 1: may not be charging him.
- 9:10Speaker 3: You know.
- 9:10Speaker 1: One of the things when you get charged with this
- 9:13Speaker 1: stuff and you have to fight it, it drains you.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It just cats you millions. But that Gerald may be
- 9:18Speaker 1: doing this for free. Now, Comy's a very very wealthy guy.
- 9:23Speaker 1: In between government jobs, he worked at hedge funds, so
- 9:26Speaker 1: he's a very wealthy guy. Lived in Connecticut for a while,
- 9:28Speaker 1: worked for Ray dalya. Now he's going to argue that
- 9:34Speaker 1: he just came along saw these Seashells. But if you
- 9:38Speaker 1: check back, there was another incident way before that with
- 9:42Speaker 1: seashells on a beach that Komy Instagram. This is the
- 9:45Speaker 1: second time he's happened to come upon seashells. Something sounds
- 9:49Speaker 1: off fishy there. The real problem is Komy is actually
- 9:53Speaker 1: you know, when you see him as the prosecutor, he
- 9:56Speaker 1: just stands there all you know, somber. But in real
- 9:59Speaker 1: life he's an awkward, uncomfortable sort of a guy to
- 10:03Speaker 1: be around. He's a weirdo, which is fine if you're
- 10:07Speaker 1: the prosecutor. You know, you can be awkward and uncomfortable
- 10:09Speaker 1: and have no personality and be the prosecutor. But for
- 10:12Speaker 1: some reason a few years ago, he decided he would
- 10:14Speaker 1: become the next Kim Kardashian. He decided he would become
- 10:18Speaker 1: this fun influencer on Instagram. And when you're a big, weird, awkward,
- 10:23Speaker 1: somber guy, you don't know how to do it. You
- 10:25Speaker 1: can't do it, you have no idea. And over the
- 10:27Speaker 1: last couple of years he has put out some of
- 10:29Speaker 1: the most cringe worthy videos where he's trying to be
- 10:32Speaker 1: cute or funny or cool or they're just I mean,
- 10:37Speaker 1: the most cringey videos. You've ever seen the Seashells thing.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Even if it was not a threat, it's just kind
- 10:43Speaker 1: of stupid. Comy's going to argue that, you know, having
- 10:48Speaker 1: been working worked in restaurants, eighty six just meant get
- 10:51Speaker 1: rid of something unruly customer, throw them out. Okay, it
- 10:57Speaker 1: did mean that in restaurants. But also, as Trump points out,
- 11:00Speaker 1: eighty six, you know it's a mob term for kill him.
- 11:04Speaker 1: You know, you ever see the.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Movies eighty six? The mobster says to one of his
- 11:09Speaker 3: wonderful associates, eighty six, that means kill him.
- 11:13Speaker 1: There you go. I think I've seen every mob movie
- 11:16Speaker 1: a thousand times. I never did you ever once hear
- 11:18Speaker 1: in a mob movie eighty six? I don't think so.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Did you ever hear Daniro say eighty six? I've never
- 11:26Speaker 1: heard that. Did you ever hear Michael Corleone say eighty six?
- 11:29Speaker 1: And I've never heard that? But again, from what I hear,
- 11:34Speaker 1: this other stuff coming. They got more on him. This
- 11:36Speaker 1: is just to get the ball rolling. There'll be other
- 11:39Speaker 1: charges added into this later. Be call me a bad guy.
- 11:42Speaker 3: He knew exactly what that meant. A child knows what
- 11:45Speaker 3: that meant. If you're the FBI director and you don't
- 11:49Speaker 3: know what that meant, that meant assassination, and it says
- 11:54Speaker 3: it loud and clear.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Well, he's got a point there. If you're the FBI director,
- 12:03Speaker 1: you know, well it's vague, it's borderline, but still if
- 12:07Speaker 1: you're a former FBI director, you shouldn't be doing that.
- 12:12Speaker 1: It was again, call me a very very very awkward guy.
- 12:18Speaker 1: So you know that cop that was beat up in
- 12:21Speaker 1: the liquor store, I mean, not in the cop, the
- 12:23Speaker 1: guy the cops beat up in the liquor store. He's
- 12:26Speaker 1: now suing the city. You've seen the video. They think
- 12:30Speaker 1: he's the criminal they're looking for, and it was just
- 12:34Speaker 1: a bunch of very very very bad coincidences. He looked
- 12:39Speaker 1: exactly like the description, and part of the description is
- 12:43Speaker 1: the guy who's wearing like green neon shorts. So the
- 12:47Speaker 1: guy looks exactly like the guy and he's wearing green
- 12:50Speaker 1: neon shorts. I mean, the odds of this, so they
- 12:53Speaker 1: had pretty good reason to think that was the guy.
- 12:56Speaker 1: And I mean you could argue that this guy, I mean,
- 13:01Speaker 1: you can't even argue it is true. This guy is
- 13:03Speaker 1: committing a crime. He's resisting arrest. You can't do that.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You have to submit to the arrest and then get
- 13:08Speaker 1: it straighten out. But they are beating them and punching them,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and you know, when you got that video, it doesn't
- 13:16Speaker 1: look good, and you got Mamdani as mayor, and you
- 13:18Speaker 1: got a certain atmosphere on now. So the guy was
- 13:23Speaker 1: not charged with resisting arrest and the cops have had
- 13:26Speaker 1: their guns and shields taken away. His name is Timothy Brown.
- 13:30Speaker 1: He's forty six. If you saw the video yesterday, he's
- 13:35Speaker 1: a sympathetic guy. He's an articulate guy. He'd be great
- 13:38Speaker 1: on the witness stand. That's a problem, you know, you'd
- 13:41Speaker 1: probably have a big problem if he testifies. Now, he
- 13:44Speaker 1: came in with a neck brace and he's on crutches
- 13:47Speaker 1: and he's bandaged up all over. Now people are pointing
- 13:50Speaker 1: out the day after the beating, when he was on TV,
- 13:53Speaker 1: he didn't have all of that stuff. It's like the
- 13:54Speaker 1: old gangsters in Casino. You know, as soon as they're indicted,
- 13:58Speaker 1: they got a neck brace, they got crushed. They're in
- 14:01Speaker 1: a wheelchair. So he's suing for one hundred million. The
- 14:07Speaker 1: city will probably settle it. They're not going to want
- 14:09Speaker 1: to take this to court. Again, he's a good sympathetic figure,
- 14:13Speaker 1: a good talker. They're not going to want to take
- 14:14Speaker 1: this to court, so they'll settle, probably, I hate to
- 14:17Speaker 1: say it, probably fifty million. Now, normally it'd settled this
- 14:21Speaker 1: for twenty million. But it's Mom, Donnie, and you know
- 14:25Speaker 1: how he just throws away taxpayer money left and right.
- 14:29Speaker 1: If he'll spend fifty if he'll spend thirty million for
- 14:32Speaker 1: a grocery store, he'll spend fifty million to settle this.
- 14:34Speaker 1: So this guy's going to do very very very well. Uh.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Price of oil we'll get to I Ran coming up.
- 14:41Speaker 1: We'll talk about Iran. The price of oil, for some
- 14:44Speaker 1: reason just spiked briefly. It went up to one hundred
- 14:48Speaker 1: and twenty six dollars. Again, it was all over the news,
- 14:50Speaker 1: breaking news. Oil has spiked a one twenty six. This
- 14:53Speaker 1: is all you kept hearing, ending where you turned New
- 14:56Speaker 1: York Times. It just dropped twenty one points. No mention
- 15:00Speaker 1: into this anywhere, the SPI I didn't know what the
- 15:02Speaker 1: cause of spike. It went up one twenty six. It's
- 15:05Speaker 1: now one oh four. The spike is breaking news. That's
- 15:12Speaker 1: all you've heard on MSNBC. It just dropped twenty one
- 15:17Speaker 1: points and no mention of it. No mention of it.
- 15:19Speaker 1: They don't mention it anyway. We got a lot to
- 15:21Speaker 1: get to. We'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three
- 15:24Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 15:28Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten
