Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and camera
- 0:06Speaker 1: j Edge.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Today, I have Nicole Snooky Pulizzi on Watz by myself
- 0:21Speaker 2: because Teddy.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Is well, she's stuck in the air somewhere.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Her flight got canceled and she couldn't make it on time,
- 0:27Speaker 2: so she's really bummed.
- 0:29Speaker 3: But I just do I call her Nicole? Do I
- 0:32Speaker 3: call her Snooky? I think I'm gonna have to ask
- 0:34Speaker 3: her bring her on in.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Well. First of all, I am so happy to actually
- 0:38Speaker 2: meet you. I mean it's virtually but I get to
- 0:41Speaker 2: meet you. Yeah, I mean, you are an og of
- 0:44Speaker 2: reality TV. I think that you started the same year
- 0:48Speaker 2: I started.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I started in I was two.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Thousand and eight when I filmed, but I very aired
- 0:54Speaker 2: maybe two thousand and nine, I can't remember. But you
- 0:57Speaker 2: have done so well for yourself fifteen years on TV
- 1:01Speaker 2: and over you know, over fifteen million followers on Instagram.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Did you ever think when you started Jersey Shore that
- 1:10Speaker 2: this was going to be like this is your life?
- 1:12Speaker 3: You are a career reality TV girl.
- 1:15Speaker 4: I mean, thank god, because I have three kids I
- 1:17Speaker 4: need to like spoil and take care of. But no,
- 1:21Speaker 4: we started the show, so I always wanted to be
- 1:23Speaker 4: a reality star. I was like a huge fan of
- 1:25Speaker 4: like MTV growing up in Real World. Actually tried out
- 1:28Speaker 4: for Real Worlds obviously didn't hear back, but I always
- 1:32Speaker 4: wanted to share lov Yeah, I never you know, I
- 1:36Speaker 4: have like jobs here and there, as like a secretary
- 1:38Speaker 4: and all that stuff, and I just hated working under
- 1:40Speaker 4: someone or like somebody telling me what to do. Like
- 1:43Speaker 4: I just knew I wasn't gonna have an office job,
- 1:45Speaker 4: Like I just can't do that. I went to school
- 1:46Speaker 4: to be a vettech because I love animals, so like
- 1:49Speaker 4: that was going to be like my life. But I
- 1:52Speaker 4: always wanted to do reality. So when Jersey Shore happened,
- 1:55Speaker 4: I thought it was just going to be. Well, from
- 1:57Speaker 4: what they said to us in the beginning was it's
- 1:59Speaker 4: one one season, then the next season they'll have like
- 2:02Speaker 4: different guidos and guiedads come in, so it would just
- 2:05Speaker 4: be like a switching cast. But that's not what happened
- 2:09Speaker 4: because we were just insane and they wanted to keep us.
- 2:12Speaker 2: So how I see it is you were the original
- 2:14Speaker 2: Summer House. Yeah, break it down to Bravo Jersey style.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Though Jersey Style, you didn't have cell phones. Which back then,
- 2:23Speaker 2: I don't think cell phones were that big of a
- 2:25Speaker 2: deal like they are now. People can't even just connecting
- 2:28Speaker 2: their cell phone. But you had a duck phone, so
- 2:30Speaker 2: that worked. But you guys did you were on pause
- 2:33Speaker 2: for a little bit, but you weren't on pause because
- 2:35Speaker 2: you went on to do your show with Jay Wow.
- 2:38Speaker 2: But Jersey Shore on pause. Did you ever think what
- 2:42Speaker 2: was it like off for six years or something like that.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Did you ever think it was gonna get back?
- 2:47Speaker 4: But yeah, So Jersey Shore ended when the original one
- 2:51Speaker 4: when I got pregnant, so literally out of nowhere, I
- 2:54Speaker 4: was like twenty four years old, freaking out and I'm like, Jeanni,
- 2:56Speaker 4: we have to get married, like this is their life now.
- 2:59Speaker 4: So yeah, that happened, and then Jersey Shore was done.
- 3:02Speaker 4: That we did Sooki and Jaywow for like four seasons,
- 3:06Speaker 4: and now I loved because it was just it wasn't
- 3:08Speaker 4: about the partying. It was about like us like turning
- 3:11Speaker 4: into women and moms and wives like me getting married
- 3:14Speaker 4: and then having all my kids. Oh. I just loved
- 3:17Speaker 4: it soaking and Jaywa was like my favorite thing to
- 3:18Speaker 4: the I wish it would come back, but no. Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 4: so that happened, and then we took a break obviously
- 3:24Speaker 4: because you know, everyone's just like being adults and like
- 3:26Speaker 4: living no life. But then when everything started to come back,
- 3:30Speaker 4: like Friends was coming back, the Hills came back, like
- 3:34Speaker 4: all these things are coming back, and we were like, MTV,
- 3:36Speaker 4: we we gotta come back, like it's it's only right everybody,
- 3:40Speaker 4: everybody else is coming back. So we did Jersey Shore
- 3:42Speaker 4: Family Vacation in Miami and now we're still filming.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So you basically went from Summerhouse to the Real Housewives.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Basically, yeah, basically the same thing. Basically.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You know, yeah, I got so many questions for you,
- 3:56Speaker 2: but you know the number one question you have to
- 3:58Speaker 2: know with the number one question, why.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Will you? For you? Will you? Would you love to
- 4:06Speaker 3: be on New Jersey Housewives?
- 4:08Speaker 4: My god, that is like the I hate it. I
- 4:13Speaker 4: So I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I love
- 4:16Speaker 4: all you housewives, like the drama and everything. I just
- 4:19Speaker 4: love it. But like, I don't like being around drama.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I'm like a positive person. I like getting drunk, coming
- 4:25Speaker 4: fun and going to bed. Like if I have drama
- 4:27Speaker 4: with the roommates or anything, it literally ruins my entire day.
- 4:29Speaker 4: I can't sleep. I loose sleep, I stress out.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Have you always been like that?
- 4:33Speaker 4: Yes, I mean I guess you can't tell back in
- 4:36Speaker 4: the day because we were like young and whatever. But
- 4:39Speaker 4: like now, when I'm older, I have no room for
- 4:41Speaker 4: drama in my life. Like I'm just too old for
- 4:43Speaker 4: that shit, Like I don't want it. Like obviously, if
- 4:46Speaker 4: someone's like stepping on me, I'm gonna come at you hard.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Not be Housewives, that's what it's all about. I mean,
- 4:52Speaker 2: I'm in the middle of most of the drama on
- 4:54Speaker 2: the show. But what people don't know is that when
- 4:57Speaker 2: I put my head on the pillow, I always feel
- 4:59Speaker 2: so bad. Like today right now, we're airing, So i
- 5:02Speaker 2: wake up in the morning and panic, and I'm like.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Oh God, everybody hates me, like it does bother me.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And I feel like the older I get, the more
- 5:10Speaker 2: it bothers me. So I get what you're saying, but
- 5:13Speaker 2: I feel like, you know, not everybody has to be
- 5:15Speaker 2: in the middle of drama on Housewives.
- 5:17Speaker 3: There's always I feel like it, though, but I feel
- 5:20Speaker 3: like you would.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm okay. I'm I'm a huge fan of the show,
- 5:25Speaker 4: but I'm okay.
- 5:26Speaker 3: You're okay. Well, we will.
- 5:27Speaker 2: You know, they're they're boot rebooting it. We don't know
- 5:30Speaker 2: what that means yet, but the fans would love to
- 5:34Speaker 2: see you on a housewives show.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I don't think Andy wants to song on either.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Well I don't think.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Well, Andy's trying to figure out what the hell they're
- 5:42Speaker 2: going to do with that show because right now it
- 5:44Speaker 2: can't continue.
- 5:46Speaker 4: So who knows all the drama and stuff?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Yeah, there's Do.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You are you neighbors with any of the Housewives or
- 5:52Speaker 2: do you know them? Because I think I heard you
- 5:54Speaker 2: were neighbors with one of them.
- 5:56Speaker 4: No, Oh, well Tracy Tracey see Teky Barber's wife. She
- 6:02Speaker 4: did that's right at last. Yeah, she did it last
- 6:05Speaker 4: season and she asked me if she should do it.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I'm like, girl, no because Tracy's just like such a
- 6:10Speaker 4: nice person, and I knew she wasn't gonna like it,
- 6:13Speaker 4: but she tried it then she didn't like it. But yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 4: Tracy's one of my best girlfriends. I met Melissa before
- 6:20Speaker 4: I met Teresa. They're all nice.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Yeah, they're all nice. I love them all.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Actually, so you and Melissa you both have stores, clothing stores.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yes, how long have you had yours?
- 6:35Speaker 4: I opened my first store two thousand and eighteen, but
- 6:39Speaker 4: I always had my online store since like twenty ten.
- 6:41Speaker 4: But I always wanted to, you know, like have my
- 6:43Speaker 4: own store and like play house and go in there
- 6:45Speaker 4: and like be the business woman. So now I'm opening
- 6:48Speaker 4: my fourth store currently right now in Nashville. I'm so
- 6:51Speaker 4: freaking excited.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I love Nashville.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Yes, I know, it's literally said the Vibe.
- 6:57Speaker 3: I just got home from New York and I just
- 6:59Speaker 3: read that you have a door in New York. And
- 7:00Speaker 3: had I known, I would have gone. My daughter, Who's
- 7:03Speaker 3: gonna pop in in a minute and say hi to you.
- 7:05Speaker 2: She is a huge fan, huge she I love that much.
- 7:09Speaker 2: She was just watching reruns of like Their you know.
- 7:12Speaker 3: The early days. Yeah, now do you go by Nicole
- 7:18Speaker 3: or Snooky?
- 7:20Speaker 4: I feel like now it's like Nicole because I'm like
- 7:22Speaker 4: a mom is three, Yeah, you know, thirty, my thirty
- 7:26Speaker 4: six or thirty seven. I'll be thirty seven. But I
- 7:29Speaker 4: mean the fans obviously still call me snooky and the
- 7:32Speaker 4: brand is Snooky and I'm known for being snuky.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of hard to shake that.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it is what it is. It's whatever.
- 7:39Speaker 3: How did you get cast on Jersey Shore.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Well, like I said, I wanted to be a reality star,
- 7:44Speaker 4: and I ended up doing this this like little like
- 7:47Speaker 4: cameo episode on MTV about like boyfriends and girlfriends whatever.
- 7:53Speaker 4: So I did that and I was like, oh cool,
- 7:54Speaker 4: like I really like it. So then I was like
- 7:56Speaker 4: trying to figure out what show I should try out
- 7:58Speaker 4: for if I'll even get on, like you never know,
- 8:01Speaker 4: And then I got a MySpace ad message.
- 8:06Speaker 3: I know, yes, we were on my.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Space and they were like, you know, we think we'd
- 8:14Speaker 4: be a good fit. It's called Widow's wait Us. So
- 8:16Speaker 4: they didn't really like say the show the name of
- 8:19Speaker 4: the show because they didn't know, but they were looking
- 8:21Speaker 4: for people that look like me and you know, all
- 8:23Speaker 4: my roommates. And I just ended up going to an audition.
- 8:26Speaker 4: It was at like this dive bar, but you had
- 8:29Speaker 4: to go like in the basement, and I knew like
- 8:31Speaker 4: I had to like show up because I needed to
- 8:33Speaker 4: like make my presence zone. So I was chugging a
- 8:35Speaker 4: Southern Comfort in the car. Oh yeah, So when she
- 8:39Speaker 4: got there, I was like chugging it. And then I
- 8:42Speaker 4: had like for a leopard what I have a leopard
- 8:45Speaker 4: fur coat on it was fake but a leopard fake
- 8:48Speaker 4: fur coat. And then I had this dress like knee
- 8:51Speaker 4: highs and I walked in and I was like, she's here.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I was like, so dramatic, but I guess it works
- 8:57Speaker 4: because they were like, this girl's crazy. And then I
- 8:59Speaker 4: have to do, like, you know, several several interviews and
- 9:03Speaker 4: I made it through.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Yeah, well they like crazy. Clear Like yeah, they like crazy.
- 9:09Speaker 3: They like when you do that.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I kind of did the same thing when I went
- 9:12Speaker 2: through my castie and I was just kind of over
- 9:14Speaker 2: the top and like whatever, who cares, Yeah, they cast me.
- 9:19Speaker 2: My daughter wants to say hi real quick.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Sure, huge fan, get down a little bit lower. So
- 9:25Speaker 3: this is Sophia. This is Nicolelokie.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Sophia so pretty thank you. You're too How old are you?
- 9:34Speaker 3: I'm eighteen twenty nineteen.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Oh my god, you're still pretty thank you.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Yeah, my mom told me she was interviewing you. I
- 9:42Speaker 3: was like, I have to say hi.
- 9:44Speaker 4: I love it. So I'm like still cool with the kids.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you definitely are. Definitely.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Yeah. See that's why I love TikTok because I feel
- 9:53Speaker 4: like TikTok now like our old viral clips are like
- 9:57Speaker 4: you know, still resonating like with the young people, and
- 10:00Speaker 4: then they end up binging like our old show. So
- 10:02Speaker 4: then they know who we are because I mean, like
- 10:04Speaker 4: I feel like we're all getting so old. It's scary.
- 10:07Speaker 3: You're not that old.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I have that.
- 10:09Speaker 4: I mean like in the industry wise, in the show,
- 10:12Speaker 4: we're pretty old. It's like a show, you know.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well, well you much older.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Yeah, but you look amazing. Thank you you so you
- 10:22Speaker 4: both are very pretty. I love it.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah, oh thank you. Well all right, well I just
- 10:28Speaker 3: want to say hi, nice to meet you. So she Sophia,
- 10:32Speaker 3: my daughter.
- 10:33Speaker 2: She hasn't been able to film for like fourteen years,
- 10:35Speaker 2: so this is her first year filming with me. So
- 10:38Speaker 2: she's really so excited about that.
- 10:41Speaker 3: So can I ask you what is the biggest difference
- 10:44Speaker 3: between the original show and the revival?
- 10:47Speaker 4: Is it a million things? I would say Filming why
- 10:51Speaker 4: this is totally different because back in the day you're
- 10:54Speaker 4: in like the shorehouse, but it's twenty four to seven,
- 10:57Speaker 4: filming for like a month and a half straight. So
- 11:00Speaker 4: you know, pelcos in the wall, there's cameras everywhere. You
- 11:02Speaker 4: can't escape a camera being in your face. Now you
- 11:05Speaker 4: know that we're adults, and no phones. So now that
- 11:08Speaker 4: we're adults and we have children and we have like
- 11:11Speaker 4: lives that we have back at home that we need to, like,
- 11:14Speaker 4: you know, figure out we're allowed to have our phones now.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Right when we came back for Jersey shore Ful on
- 11:21Speaker 4: a vacation, we're like, no, you're not taking our phones.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I have two kids at home. It's too hard. I
- 11:25Speaker 4: can't feel like this anymore. Like we're older, like I
- 11:27Speaker 4: need to be a mom, know what's going on, checking
- 11:29Speaker 4: with my kids and family, and the producers have been
- 11:32Speaker 4: great with evolving with us. So yeah, we get to
- 11:35Speaker 4: have our phones now. We don't fail in twenty four
- 11:37Speaker 4: to seven. So it's like housewives, like how you guys,
- 11:40Speaker 4: you know, you'll you'll schedule your week and like one
- 11:43Speaker 4: one day you're going to meet with somebody than the
- 11:45Speaker 4: next year olds in your group dinner, and then you'll
- 11:48Speaker 4: do like a forty eight hour trip somewhere. So it's
- 11:51Speaker 4: more like how you guys film now, So it's not like,
- 11:55Speaker 4: you know, thrown in the house for thirty days straight.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I could imagine that.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Now.
- 11:58Speaker 2: There's a lot of competition show that are coming out.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I just recently did Traders last year, and it's a
- 12:04Speaker 2: situation where they take your phone away. I had such
- 12:06Speaker 2: bad aniety going to another country having you know, a pod,
- 12:11Speaker 2: several podcasts, a business, a daughter at home.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Still, Yeah, and you can't contact them, And would.
- 12:17Speaker 4: You do the worse?
- 12:19Speaker 3: It's the worst.
- 12:20Speaker 2: It's absolute where it's very very difficult. Would you do
- 12:23Speaker 2: Traders or House.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Of Villains or anything like that. Yeah, it's it's difficult.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Because I can't even so, like we do our longer trips,
- 12:31Speaker 4: so that would be like a week we go to
- 12:33Speaker 4: like Margaritaville, Orlando. Everybody brings our kids, but I can't
- 12:37Speaker 4: do that because my daughter is in sports. She can't
- 12:40Speaker 4: leave sports. My kids are in school. I can't just
- 12:42Speaker 4: pick up my kids for a week and bring them
- 12:44Speaker 4: with me. And also we hardly see them. They're just
- 12:47Speaker 4: in the room and it's like the comfort of knowing
- 12:48Speaker 4: that they're there with us, but you don't really see them.
- 12:51Speaker 4: So everybody brings our kids, but I don't. So they're
- 12:54Speaker 4: there for like seven days. I'll go for three nights
- 12:57Speaker 4: only because that's the that's the maximum maximum amount of
- 13:00Speaker 4: time that I can like physically leave my children. Like
- 13:03Speaker 4: I can't be away from my kids for more than
- 13:05Speaker 4: three days.
- 13:06Speaker 2: And it doesn't get me easier, honestly. Like Sophia, she's
- 13:09Speaker 2: eighteen going on nineteen, and we have a second house
- 13:12Speaker 2: in Big Bear, and she doesn't like to go because
- 13:14Speaker 2: you know, her friends are here and everything else is here.
- 13:16Speaker 2: So like, I get so anxious just leaving her more
- 13:20Speaker 2: than three days.
- 13:20Speaker 3: So just you know, it doesn't.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Especially now that they're older and she can like drive
- 13:24Speaker 4: and go wherever. I feel like it's it's more scary.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it is, especially if something happened, so it's like
- 13:32Speaker 2: you got away.
- 13:34Speaker 3: So I have to ask you.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Do you feel like social media and being you know,
- 13:40Speaker 2: more aware of fan reactions has affected how people film
- 13:44Speaker 2: on the show. For instance, for Housewives, if you've been
- 13:47Speaker 2: on a few years and maybe you have a bad season,
- 13:50Speaker 2: there are certain people that react differently or try to
- 13:53Speaker 2: play into the comments on social media.
- 13:58Speaker 4: You mean kind of like censoring yourself because you.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Don't self producing yourself.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Like do you have do you feel yeah, I feel
- 14:06Speaker 2: like people on the cast that play for you know,
- 14:10Speaker 2: the fandom, I.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Feel like no. I mean obviously, like we we some
- 14:16Speaker 4: of us do get a lot of heat in certain
- 14:18Speaker 4: situations if there's like a fight and people get so
- 14:21Speaker 4: nasty on the internet. I'm just like, calm down. It's
- 14:24Speaker 4: literally a reality show. We're here to entertain you.
- 14:28Speaker 5: You know.
- 14:28Speaker 4: We get into a little bicker, but like we're we're
- 14:31Speaker 4: not going to kill each other. Like at the end
- 14:32Speaker 4: of the day, Like especially with all of us, like
- 14:34Speaker 4: we end up fighting or whatever, but at the end
- 14:37Speaker 4: of the day, we're like, oh, sorry, I was nasty.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Yeah sorry, So there's always a resolution with all of us.
- 14:43Speaker 4: So yeah, I feel like even if we did want
- 14:45Speaker 4: to censor ourselves, I just feel like when you're in
- 14:49Speaker 4: that moment of like being upset with someone or you know,
- 14:53Speaker 4: just like being drunk and crazy, I mean, you just can't.
- 14:56Speaker 4: You can't handle yourself. Yeah, you can't. You can't censor yourself.
- 15:00Speaker 4: And I feel like we are so used to being
- 15:02Speaker 4: in front of the camera that it's like we don't
- 15:04Speaker 4: even see it. Sometimes we forget that we're on camera.
- 15:07Speaker 4: 're like whispering and yeah, they can hear everything, So.
- 15:11Speaker 3: That makes it good.
- 15:11Speaker 2: That makes a good reality star, honestly. Yeah, Like the
- 15:14Speaker 2: people that start censoring themselves, it just it looks like
- 15:17Speaker 2: it and they're not fun.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Like for me, the fans can see it.
- 15:20Speaker 5: The fans can be like, oh, you're not being real, Like, yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Do you get a lot of hate on social media?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Not really.
- 15:39Speaker 4: I mean it used to be really bad. It used
- 15:41Speaker 4: to be so bad back in the day. Like when
- 15:43Speaker 4: I got pregnant. I remember they were putting me on
- 15:47Speaker 4: they were putting me It was obviously a big picture,
- 15:50Speaker 4: but they put I forget what magazine it was, but
- 15:52Speaker 4: they were pretending that I had this big belly and
- 15:54Speaker 4: I was smoking a cigarette.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And oh I remember that.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Yeah, And I'm like, do these people I think it
- 16:00Speaker 4: would be a shitty ass mom, because you saw me
- 16:02Speaker 4: party on the show, like so ridiculous. So I feel
- 16:04Speaker 4: like now I have the last laugh because I'm a
- 16:07Speaker 4: phenomenal mother. I would never spoken with my kids, of
- 16:11Speaker 4: course not now.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I see I followy on social media and your daughter
- 16:16Speaker 2: is amazing. She's in cheerleading. Yeah, you were also in
- 16:20Speaker 2: cheerleading right growing up?
- 16:21Speaker 4: Yes, So I'm like so glad that we share the
- 16:23Speaker 4: same passion. And she's literally she's incredible. She's like one
- 16:27Speaker 4: hundred times better than I ever was.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Well, I feel like the trainings insane different. It's different now,
- 16:33Speaker 3: like it's like a career.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Back in the day, I just did like school cheer
- 16:37Speaker 4: so I was captain, you know, my cheer squad in
- 16:40Speaker 4: high school. But it wasn't like us as a sport.
- 16:43Speaker 4: We were like cheering on football. But the cheerleading that
- 16:47Speaker 4: she does is all star cheerleading, which I only did
- 16:49Speaker 4: for like a year after high school. But that is like,
- 16:53Speaker 4: that is the sport. It's not like you're cheering for
- 16:55Speaker 4: a football team or any other team like you are
- 16:58Speaker 4: the team.
- 16:58Speaker 3: It is a sport team.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Now does she want to?
- 17:03Speaker 2: I know she's still pretty young, but does she want
- 17:05Speaker 2: to cheer for like a huge team when she gets older?
- 17:09Speaker 3: Does she want to?
- 17:10Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like she definitely she doesn't even
- 17:13Speaker 4: know colleges yet because she's only not she's turning ten September.
- 17:17Speaker 4: But for her age, she's just incredible. But I feel
- 17:20Speaker 4: like she's not really thinking about like college or like
- 17:22Speaker 4: big teams yet. But I told her, I was like, honey,
- 17:25Speaker 4: you you're doing what you love and you're amazing at it.
- 17:27Speaker 4: I was like, you're going to get a scholarship somewhere
- 17:29Speaker 4: and it's going to be amazing, and I'm so proud.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Of you.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, oh that's so cute. Okay, So I need you
- 17:34Speaker 2: to be honest. Does everybody on the cast like Angelina?
- 17:40Speaker 4: We all I feel like all of us love each
- 17:43Speaker 4: other and we're all siblings and best friends to the
- 17:47Speaker 4: day we die. But Angelina, it's sometimes hard to deal
- 17:52Speaker 4: with her because she does get in her head a lot,
- 17:55Speaker 4: and like we had this conversation which is going to
- 17:57Speaker 4: air the season, but I was like, girl, like you
- 18:00Speaker 4: you always think people are coming after you, and you
- 18:02Speaker 4: think like she always thinks she's a victim because she
- 18:05Speaker 4: always thinks people are targeting her and coming after her,
- 18:08Speaker 4: especially with all of us, and we're just like, girl,
- 18:11Speaker 4: it's not like that. It's not that serious, and it's
- 18:14Speaker 4: just do.
- 18:15Speaker 2: You have a problem dealing with cast members that play
- 18:18Speaker 2: victim all the time?
- 18:19Speaker 3: Because I do. It drives me crazy.
- 18:21Speaker 4: I mean yeah, I mean I definitely have sympathy and
- 18:23Speaker 4: when it's due and I'm like, I feel for you whatever,
- 18:26Speaker 4: but like to be every single time and like we're
- 18:29Speaker 4: the bad guys. I That's when I'm like.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Come on, I can't deal with the poor mes.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Like it sends me over the edge, send me over
- 18:38Speaker 2: the edge, Like just take ownership for what happened and
- 18:41Speaker 2: stop creating the victim.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Now the fans want.
- 18:43Speaker 2: I don't know if you still talk to your best
- 18:45Speaker 2: friend writer that appeared on the original series.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Oh my god, somebody just asking this on another podcast.
- 18:52Speaker 4: So no, I haven't talked to her in years, and
- 18:56Speaker 4: I don't think like we had a falling out, but
- 18:58Speaker 4: I think we just grew apart because Rider, to me,
- 19:02Speaker 4: she was a great friend, one of my best friends.
- 19:04Speaker 4: You know, I brought her on the show, but she
- 19:06Speaker 4: was like my best friend that I would like know
- 19:08Speaker 4: that we're going to party, Like we're going out, We're
- 19:10Speaker 4: going to have a good time. Like if I want
- 19:12Speaker 4: to go get drinks and get wasted, I'm calling Rider,
- 19:14Speaker 4: Like she was like my Rider died, so like having
- 19:16Speaker 4: a good time. And then on Snooky and Jaywow, we
- 19:21Speaker 4: ended up going to where did we go? I think
- 19:24Speaker 4: we went to Cancun or something. We went to Mexico,
- 19:27Speaker 4: I don't remember, but I was pregnant and I brought
- 19:30Speaker 4: Rider and Jenny brought one of her friends. And I
- 19:33Speaker 4: remember one night like being pregnant there and I was
- 19:36Speaker 4: like I just felt so uncomfortable, Like they were going
- 19:38Speaker 4: to club and I was probably like five months pregnant,
- 19:41Speaker 4: and I just didn't feel comfortable going to a club.
- 19:43Speaker 4: I didn't want to be around the party scene, Like
- 19:45Speaker 4: I'm pregnant for the first time. I want to like
- 19:48Speaker 4: old night, you know, like inside, and the girls obviously
- 19:52Speaker 4: wanted to go out and party, so I was like,
- 19:53Speaker 4: all right, you guys go. So that's when I started
- 19:56Speaker 4: to feel like, okay, like maybe we're going in different
- 19:59Speaker 4: directions and our life. So after that trip is when
- 20:02Speaker 4: like we kind of just stopped hanging out because I
- 20:05Speaker 4: was having a baby at twenty four and she was still,
- 20:07Speaker 4: you know, wanting.
- 20:08Speaker 2: To so you're just different times of your life, so
- 20:11Speaker 2: you kind of just dripped it away.
- 20:13Speaker 4: But I have no bad to say about her. We
- 20:16Speaker 4: had a great friendship. I wish we did have like
- 20:19Speaker 4: a like a a talk about it, because we kind
- 20:22Speaker 4: of just like went our separate ways.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Day.
- 20:26Speaker 4: She was she was a good time.
- 20:27Speaker 3: She was a great friend, good time.
- 20:29Speaker 2: So the fans also want to know if you still
- 20:31Speaker 2: have your stuffed crocodile.
- 20:34Speaker 4: I do I still have Crocodilly crackadile. I was just
- 20:38Speaker 4: looking for him the other day. Lorenzo Lorenzo, when he
- 20:42Speaker 4: was a baby. He's twelve now. He used to sleep
- 20:45Speaker 4: with Crocodilly, but it's somewhere in the playroom. Still have him.
- 20:49Speaker 4: His stuffing's coming out, so I have to restuff him.
- 20:52Speaker 4: He's so old and disgusting. Yes, I still have Crocodilly.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Good.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Also, how do you feel about being named on Variety's
- 21:01Speaker 2: forty More Powerful Woman in Reality TV?
- 21:04Speaker 4: Oh? Was that last year?
- 21:05Speaker 3: That was last year.
- 21:07Speaker 4: I actually have the magazine right over there.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I have it on my wall too. Yeah, we were both.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Named in that there was It was obviously you would
- 21:15Speaker 2: have to fly in to go to the event, and
- 21:16Speaker 2: I think that your daughter had to cheer competition or
- 21:19Speaker 2: something like that.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Yeah, make it. I was so bombed because I really wanted.
- 21:24Speaker 4: To meet you. Yeah, I was so upset I couldn't
- 21:26Speaker 4: make it. But you know, kids come first with all
- 21:28Speaker 4: that stuff. But this was like one of the things
- 21:30Speaker 4: that I was so upset that I was missing. But me,
- 21:33Speaker 4: me and Jenny made it. So Jenny ended up going.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I don't know, I met her, Yes, yeah, I met her. Yeah.
- 21:40Speaker 4: So I mean what in honor? I mean I feel
- 21:42Speaker 4: like we serve it because we like show everything in
- 21:45Speaker 4: our lives and like you know, we show everything to
- 21:47Speaker 4: the point where everywhere everyone could judge us, and and
- 21:51Speaker 4: they did all times. Yeah, it's just like it's hard
- 21:55Speaker 4: to share all of that when you're not comfortable. So
- 21:58Speaker 4: I'm so great Fall. That's amazing.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Yeah, so is there going to be a season eight?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Maybe I'm going to take that as a yes, we
- 22:08Speaker 2: will see. Now, you also have a podcast. Do you
- 22:12Speaker 2: have two podcasts or one?
- 22:14Speaker 4: I have two?
- 22:15Speaker 3: Two It's Happening and is it the Meatball?
- 22:19Speaker 4: Yeah? So I have my my first podcast that I
- 22:22Speaker 4: had literally for ten years with my gay best friend Joey.
- 22:25Speaker 4: It's Happening with Joey. Yeah. So we've had our podcast
- 22:29Speaker 4: for so long and literally it's just like a conversation
- 22:33Speaker 4: of us. You're just listening to our conversation on the
- 22:35Speaker 4: phone of the recap of the week, you know, talking
- 22:37Speaker 4: about celebrities that like, I love it, Like we talked
- 22:40Speaker 4: about the news, but we're not like saying the news correctly,
- 22:43Speaker 4: so you know, don't come to us for like the
- 22:45Speaker 4: hard hitting facts. Yeah, it's probably it's probably not right.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Do you prefer podcasting over filming the show?
- 22:55Speaker 4: Well, I definitely think podcasting is you have more control
- 23:00Speaker 4: over it. Yeah, and it's way easier. I feel like
- 23:05Speaker 4: filming is just like such a big production and you
- 23:08Speaker 4: don't know how they're going to edit it or whatever.
- 23:11Speaker 4: So I like podcasting way more because it's like a
- 23:14Speaker 4: diary of you, just like you know, talking and no
- 23:17Speaker 4: one controls it.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I feel the same way.
- 23:19Speaker 2: It's just kind of like your your chill, you're just talking,
- 23:22Speaker 2: you're with friends, and yeah, you get your words out there.
- 23:25Speaker 3: You're not manipulated, so exactly.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Now you have multiple businesses three three stores now,
- 23:45Speaker 2: total of three or is it going on four?
- 23:47Speaker 4: Well, it's going to be four. And when Natal.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Opens Snooky shop, I want you to have my brand.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Yes, Oh my god, So I'm so late. I was
- 23:56Speaker 4: supposed to launch my my white wine like a week ago,
- 24:01Speaker 4: and I've just been so busy with somewhere and the kids.
- 24:03Speaker 4: So yeah, it's crazy Mama brand of wine. It's delicious,
- 24:07Speaker 4: it'll get you drunk quick and it doesn't give you hangovers.
- 24:10Speaker 3: So where can people buy it?
- 24:13Speaker 4: Only online?
- 24:14Speaker 3: Uh huh?
- 24:15Speaker 4: Yeah, so Messy Mama Wine by Snooky.
- 24:17Speaker 2: So it's safe to say it's hard to balance everything
- 24:19Speaker 2: because being a mom, you know, just taking care of
- 24:22Speaker 2: the house, having a husband, having podcasts, shooting a show, Yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 2: having a wine brand, having your stores.
- 24:30Speaker 3: It's a lot. It's definitely a lot.
- 24:32Speaker 4: But I just feel like I love to be busy
- 24:35Speaker 4: and I'm really good at multitasking, which is great. So
- 24:38Speaker 4: I just love like sitting in my office and getting
- 24:41Speaker 4: things done, you know, my stores, my wine, filming schedules, podcasts.
- 24:46Speaker 4: I just like, I like like keeping it moving.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think we probably have the same
- 24:51Speaker 2: mentality when it comes to it.
- 24:52Speaker 3: I want to.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Be super busy because if I'm not, my mind is
- 24:56Speaker 2: a little destructive.
- 24:58Speaker 3: And just keep it going because you don't know.
- 25:01Speaker 2: With with reality TV and you know, the things that we
- 25:04Speaker 2: go through, it can be gone literally overnight, and it's like,
- 25:09Speaker 2: just do everything you can do right now and just
- 25:11Speaker 2: keep it going because you don't know.
- 25:12Speaker 3: You don't know it's gonna end. Honestly agreed.
- 25:16Speaker 2: So let's get into real housewist a little bit. So
- 25:18Speaker 2: you say that you're super fan. Is there any shows
- 25:21Speaker 2: that you don't watch?
- 25:23Speaker 3: Do you watch them all? Do you have a favorite?
- 25:27Speaker 4: Well, my favorite is obviously Jersey. Jersey relate to like
- 25:31Speaker 4: everything that's happening, And you know, I've had I've met with,
- 25:36Speaker 4: you know, Melissa and Teresa, so I definitely love Jersey
- 25:41Speaker 4: Beverly Hills obviously, And yeah, I don't really watch the others.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Well, thank you, thank you. I appreciate it.
- 25:51Speaker 4: That's like my top two.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Just to say, you're not watching Orange County right now,
- 25:56Speaker 2: I'm wat watch it.
- 26:00Speaker 4: But okay, so yeah, three, that's my top three.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Okay, I have to ask mose right, are you team
- 26:08Speaker 3: Teresa team Melissa?
- 26:10Speaker 4: I'm not. I'm not going there if I say one,
- 26:14Speaker 4: team giand I like both, they're both great.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Do you have a house in the shore at the shore?
- 26:23Speaker 3: At the shore it's called Jersey Shore.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Yeah. My my shorehouse is in the same town as Melissa's.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Oh really, do you ever see her there?
- 26:30Speaker 4: No? No, because I don't really leave my house. I
- 26:33Speaker 4: like to like just stay there and like go on
- 26:35Speaker 4: the boat or whatever, So I don't really leave.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Oh okay, now I get that. I'm hurt. Like I'm
- 26:42Speaker 3: a homebody.
- 26:44Speaker 2: It's hard for me to even travel because I hate
- 26:46Speaker 2: being away from my house.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Okay, we have I have a little I guess you
- 26:51Speaker 2: would call it a game about your castmates thing, and
- 26:56Speaker 2: you tell me who fits it cast clown Vinny Always
- 27:02Speaker 2: right even when they're wrong?
- 27:06Speaker 4: Am I seeing always right? Or they think they're always right.
- 27:08Speaker 3: When they wrong.
- 27:08Speaker 2: They think they're always right even when they're wrong. Best
- 27:13Speaker 2: comeback King or Queen.
- 27:17Speaker 4: I would say Mike because he's like completely sober now
- 27:20Speaker 4: and a different person.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Oh good for him. Biggest drama queen.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Drama queen, yep, I feel like we're all drama queens,
- 27:28Speaker 4: but I'll go with Angelina.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Most likely to ghost you after filming is over.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Angelina.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Most likely to be late to filming angely. Most likely
- 27:46Speaker 2: that's funny. Most likely to go off on the crew, Oh,
- 27:52Speaker 2: Angelina sound.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Most likely to know show on.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Vacation Angelina, She's no showed before.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Most fun to party with on vacation. That can't be Angelina.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Well she she has a good time. I would see
- 28:11Speaker 4: my meat Baldina.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Ah.
- 28:13Speaker 2: The biggest regret you did on camera if any.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Let's just say Italy. I want to erase you do
- 28:23Speaker 4: why the whole season in Italy? I just want it
- 28:25Speaker 4: gone because it wasn't my proudest moments and I was
- 28:30Speaker 4: just like homesick. I hated it.
- 28:32Speaker 2: What was the most shocking thing that happened on the
- 28:35Speaker 2: show that never made it to air.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Oh, there were some makeout, some makeout real people that
- 28:42Speaker 4: never made it, and it's crazy that that happened. But yeah, Miami,
- 28:47Speaker 4: there was a few people that made out that never
- 28:50Speaker 4: and we saw it, but the cameras didn't see it,
- 28:52Speaker 4: and it was great.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Okay, to close it up, let's talk about your husband.
- 28:57Speaker 2: You guys met season three, I believe, Yeah, and you've
- 29:03Speaker 2: been married.
- 29:03Speaker 4: How long it's gonna be ten years in November? How crazy?
- 29:08Speaker 3: Congratulations?
- 29:09Speaker 4: I know. I was like, can we renew our vowels? Like?
- 29:11Speaker 4: I would love that? Oh?
- 29:12Speaker 3: You should.
- 29:14Speaker 4: He doesn't even want to be on camera. Let alone.
- 29:15Speaker 2: That's time I's gonna ask you. I feel like he
- 29:17Speaker 2: doesn't want to be on camera.
- 29:19Speaker 3: I can relate. My husband's exactly the same way. Yeah,
- 29:23Speaker 3: how do you entice him? You know what I had
- 29:25Speaker 3: to do this season?
- 29:26Speaker 2: I'm like, babe, just film, go buy yourself and New Harley.
- 29:29Speaker 3: And he's like, oh, really, yeah, but you have to film.
- 29:33Speaker 4: He's like, oh, okay, I know, maybe I should do that.
- 29:36Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know. I just feel like he's
- 29:39Speaker 4: filmed before obviously. And then Sookie and Jaywow, he's filmed.
- 29:44Speaker 4: It's just like not his thing. He's like not comfortable.
- 29:48Speaker 4: It doesn't feel natural to him, even though he's like
- 29:51Speaker 4: so natural on camera. Like we did the last show
- 29:54Speaker 4: that we did together was a flip show on FYI
- 29:57Speaker 4: called Short Flip and it was just me and him
- 30:00Speaker 4: like flipping our shorehouse, which we ended up keeping and
- 30:02Speaker 4: then we sold. But he's just like such he's so
- 30:05Speaker 4: funny on camera. Everybody loves him, and I just wish
- 30:09Speaker 4: he would like it. I mean, I asked him all
- 30:12Speaker 4: the time. I'm like, bab, just one scene of like us,
- 30:14Speaker 4: just like catching up, like so the fan sits you
- 30:17Speaker 4: and we could like show the family. So trust me.
- 30:20Speaker 4: I'm trying, but I don't want to push him as
- 30:23Speaker 4: he's like that uncomfortable.
- 30:24Speaker 2: But it's like you have to respect your family members
- 30:26Speaker 2: because I don't know, you know, your show works, but
- 30:29Speaker 2: on ours, I'm really the only one that gets paid.
- 30:32Speaker 2: So like I'll ask my son to film and it's
- 30:35Speaker 2: not his thing, and he's like, mom, no, I don't
- 30:37Speaker 2: want to film. There's nothing in it for me. You
- 30:39Speaker 2: know they always talk that's my son. Make me feel
- 30:42Speaker 2: bad and you know, look bad. And I just don't
- 30:45Speaker 2: want to do you need to respect that. I'm like,
- 30:47Speaker 2: I respect it, but I'm not accepting it.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Yeah, like I'm not. It doesn't make me happy, but.
- 30:51Speaker 3: It doesn't make me happy, So just get home.
- 30:54Speaker 4: I know.
- 30:55Speaker 2: I think for people like us, it's just in our
- 30:57Speaker 2: blood and it's natural and we don't care or do
- 31:00Speaker 2: and we don't really.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Care too much about the backlash. And for other people
- 31:03Speaker 3: it's like it's a hard pass.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Oh yeah. My husband's like, absolutely not. I don't want
- 31:08Speaker 4: the bullshit.
- 31:08Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, My final question, are you gonna
- 31:12Speaker 2: have any more kids?
- 31:14Speaker 5: You know?
- 31:15Speaker 4: I always so four is my number. I always said
- 31:18Speaker 4: I was gonna have four kids when I was little,
- 31:20Speaker 4: like growing up. But you know, now that I have three,
- 31:24Speaker 4: I feel complete. Like when I had two, I was like,
- 31:26Speaker 4: you know, I still feel like there's babies up there
- 31:28Speaker 4: waiting to come down for me. I don't feel like
- 31:31Speaker 4: there's any more babies. I got a dog, Rockey. He
