- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Sugar Spice's Love Love.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nice Sham your hay
- 0:18Speaker 2: straw Shooter. It is Tuesday morning, which means our dear
- 0:20Speaker 2: friend Delayna Dixon joins, are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 1: I am. I'm back in New York after being in
- 0:26Speaker 1: the Bahamas seeing Lenny Kravits at Baja mar Oh my goodness.
- 0:33Speaker 1: It was the Culinary Festival Institute something like that. But
- 0:37Speaker 1: what what matters is that I saw Anny Kravits.
- 0:40Speaker 2: That's what matters. It was amazing and it is he
- 0:43Speaker 2: as delicious, as exciting as we want to believe he is.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Oh my god. He came out in a gold chain
- 0:49Speaker 1: made top, a leather jacket, sunglasses. It was at night,
- 0:54Speaker 1: but he's sang all the greatest look it and he
- 0:58Speaker 1: just you know, he's actually from the Bahamas. His grandfather
- 1:02Speaker 1: is from the Bahamas, and this was his first official
- 1:05Speaker 1: concert there.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Ah, you're the luckiest person. Although we should point out
- 1:09Speaker 2: to it does sound we do have all these perks.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Part of our lovely lives are the perks. The part
- 1:15Speaker 2: that you don't see is the miserable grind behind a keyboard,
- 1:19Speaker 2: like you're there to work, like it wasn't totally a vacation.
- 1:22Speaker 2: There were some lovely elements for it. But while everybody
- 1:25Speaker 2: in that audience was having a great time, you had
- 1:28Speaker 2: to do a little work. I did.
- 1:30Speaker 1: He made a wonderful speech, so he made my job
- 1:33Speaker 1: a lot easier. Recorded that and then it came back,
- 1:36Speaker 1: sat down and just you're right, that's what we do.
- 1:39Speaker 1: We're there, we know why we're there. We're there to
- 1:41Speaker 1: get stories and write wonderful stories about the people we see,
- 1:45Speaker 1: the places we stay, the events we go to. But
- 1:49Speaker 1: you just have to find the fun in it, and
- 1:50Speaker 1: I did. I talked to Marcus Samuelson because it was
- 1:52Speaker 1: a culinary event.
- 1:55Speaker 2: An amazing, amazing chef, the red Rooster, lots of the
- 1:58Speaker 2: restaurants are it signs perfect time? What is this story
- 2:01Speaker 2: up now, Miste? Can we read it?
- 2:02Speaker 1: Where is he up on ebony?
- 2:07Speaker 2: Check it out doc com. We'll check it out. Okay,
- 2:09Speaker 2: let's jump into the show. What time is it? My
- 2:11Speaker 2: Friends and Ears t time. Big story at the top
- 2:13Speaker 2: of the show. So Max from Dancing with the Stars.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I've always liked him, very, very sexy. His brother's on
- 2:19Speaker 2: the show. Max has not been on the show for
- 2:21Speaker 2: a couple of years now, but he's saying, let's be honest,
- 2:24Speaker 2: it might might not be the right thing to say,
- 2:27Speaker 2: but he's certainly saying what everybody is thinking, which is Jan,
- 2:32Speaker 2: who is Taylor Swift's former backup dancer, he should not
- 2:36Speaker 2: be on Dancing with the Stars. So he's saying he's
- 2:40Speaker 2: saying that, no, he shouldn't be on the show. He's
- 2:43Speaker 2: basically implying the only reason he's been cast as a
- 2:46Speaker 2: professional is because he worked with Taylor Swift. There might
- 2:49Speaker 2: be some truth to that. Now, behind the scenes, people
- 2:52Speaker 2: are saying Max isn't wrong and that Jan is talented,
- 2:57Speaker 2: but this isn't the eras tours. This is Dancing with
- 3:00Speaker 2: the Stars, and this is about technique, and this is
- 3:03Speaker 2: about ballroom and he has a massive fan base thanks
- 3:07Speaker 2: to Taylor Swift. But casting him, Max said was quote absurd.
- 3:13Speaker 2: He said, he has no business being called a pro.
- 3:17Speaker 2: What do you think, mist Now, a lot of people
- 3:19Speaker 2: behind the scenes have been very upset that he's there.
- 3:24Speaker 2: That Jan is there not necessarily because of his skill level,
- 3:28Speaker 2: but because of his association with the most popular person
- 3:32Speaker 2: in the world, and he could win the season. He
- 3:35Speaker 2: could not his dancer, not his star, but he could win.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I think Max forgot where he was. We are not
- 3:44Speaker 1: in a ballroom competition. We are on a TV show,
- 3:48Speaker 1: a reality TV show that depends on ratings, and the
- 3:54Speaker 1: best way to get ratings is to cast a dancer.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You're pro who happened to dance on the Errors Tour. Now,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I understand you want this to be about technique and skill.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So because he does not have ballroom dance experience, that
- 4:08Speaker 1: is not on his resume. He's more of a commercial dancer.
- 4:11Speaker 1: He's not gonna have that technique and skill. But is
- 4:14Speaker 1: he gonna be a show man? Is he gonna razzle dazl?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Is he gonna get every single Tailor Swift fan to
- 4:19Speaker 1: watch the show? Hell? Yes, and you're gonna see it
- 4:22Speaker 1: reflected in the numbers. This is a show that's been
- 4:25Speaker 1: on what twenty thousand seasons. They have to keep giving
- 4:30Speaker 1: people a reason to come back, and this is one
- 4:33Speaker 1: of them. And the fact that we're talking about it
- 4:36Speaker 1: means that it's working.
- 4:37Speaker 2: It's working, mister. That's why they cast Hilaria Baldwin, That's
- 4:41Speaker 2: why they cast Kate Gostin. You're right, and it is working,
- 4:44Speaker 2: mis Day. This season is one of the highest rated
- 4:48Speaker 2: Dancing with the Stars in years. Let's not forget this
- 4:51Speaker 2: show fell so low in the ratings they pulled it
- 4:54Speaker 2: off TV and they just had it on streaming. It's
- 4:57Speaker 2: back now on TV and the producers want to make
- 5:00Speaker 2: it stays there. You just got as you always do.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Delaya to the heart of this debate, what is Dancing
- 5:08Speaker 2: with the Stars? Is it about the quality of the
- 5:11Speaker 2: dancing or is it about the showmanship of putting on
- 5:15Speaker 2: a show? Is it about ratings? Television is a business.
- 5:19Speaker 2: We've learned that MISDI. We've worked in TV now over
- 5:22Speaker 2: a decade. It's a business and if they can make money,
- 5:26Speaker 2: they don't care about the quality of the show. It
- 5:29Speaker 2: doesn't have to win Emmy Award. It doesn't have to
- 5:32Speaker 2: be smart like sixty minutes. If you get a lot
- 5:34Speaker 2: of people watching, it can be the Real Housewives. It
- 5:37Speaker 2: doesn't matter how sloppy it is, as long as people
- 5:40Speaker 2: right now, some shows try to have a balance. They
- 5:43Speaker 2: do want professional, but they also want commercial. I think
- 5:47Speaker 2: Kelly Ripper's probably the best example of that. It's very professional,
- 5:50Speaker 2: but it's also very very commercial, and that's why it
- 5:53Speaker 2: has stayed on for so long. Dancing with the Stars
- 5:56Speaker 2: is not a dancing show, Max, if you are listening,
- 5:58Speaker 2: and you might be, it's a business. It's a business.
- 6:02Speaker 2: And if you go into the show thinking it's a
- 6:04Speaker 2: dance competition, then half of the celebrities dancing would not
- 6:08Speaker 2: be allowed on that show. They would not and the winner.
- 6:11Speaker 2: This is the other thing about the show. It's not
- 6:13Speaker 2: the best dancer that wins. It's a popularity competition. It's
- 6:18Speaker 2: the most popular that's who wins the show.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Absolutely. If you think about the other dance show that
- 6:25Speaker 1: was on Fox, they said it was America's favorite dancer,
- 6:29Speaker 1: not America's best dancer. Flu America gets to vote, and
- 6:35Speaker 1: maybe some people are voting on technique and skill, but
- 6:37Speaker 1: you're voting for the person you like, or maybe you're
- 6:40Speaker 1: voting for the person who you feel put out the
- 6:42Speaker 1: most effort. Maybe you're voting for the villain because you
- 6:45Speaker 1: like to see a villain win. Most people aren't voting
- 6:48Speaker 1: because they're like, oh, they did that pod? Do you
- 6:51Speaker 1: know that so so incredibly well, so, it's a TV show,
- 6:58Speaker 1: it's a reality show.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Do you think this is a good look for Max?
- 7:01Speaker 2: He's quite happy to play the villain, like I'd actually
- 7:04Speaker 2: forgotten about him. He's not been on the show for
- 7:06Speaker 2: several years. He does go on professional tours. He makes
- 7:08Speaker 2: his money now doing shows with his wife, with his
- 7:12Speaker 2: friends and their professional dancers who go around the country
- 7:15Speaker 2: and they're fabulous. I saw one of his shows. He's brilliant.
- 7:18Speaker 2: He's an absolutely brilliant answer. He sexy, but he's also
- 7:21Speaker 2: to a show man. He puts on that villain role.
- 7:24Speaker 2: I would argue here, it's not Young's talent that upsets Max,
- 7:31Speaker 2: it's his popularity. He's the new heart thrub of the ballroom.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Not only does he have a fan base and Taylor Swift,
- 7:38Speaker 2: he's really cute Misty, and he has the most beautiful
- 7:42Speaker 2: bottom and when he is shaking it, everybody is watching
- 7:46Speaker 2: this guy. He's got Taylor and he's got the looks. Yeah.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I think when you think about Max, it's like you
- 7:53Speaker 1: could have told this to your friends, You could have
- 7:55Speaker 1: told this to the producers and said maybe this isn't
- 7:57Speaker 1: the best angle to go down to, but you decided
- 8:00Speaker 1: to do it in a public forum. So just like
- 8:04Speaker 1: they're using Yan's populariat, are you writing on his cotail
- 8:08Speaker 1: so you stay in the news cycle? Are you following
- 8:12Speaker 1: the Bethany Frank.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Frank model. You find the most successful person in the
- 8:19Speaker 2: media of the moment, who were all talking about, and
- 8:21Speaker 2: you criticize and you always get attention. I think Max
- 8:26Speaker 2: is up to no good here. But what do you
- 8:27Speaker 2: think naughties? Max has had a fiery takedown of Taylor
- 8:32Speaker 2: Swift's dancer John. I think that's how I pronointed. It
- 8:35Speaker 2: is John who has divided the cast? Is Max right
- 8:42Speaker 2: or wrong? What do you think here? Right or wrong?
- 8:45Speaker 2: Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rama.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Facebook page is naughty yasip and be sure to check
- 8:52Speaker 2: back to Marouter here your results. Hey, miss Steeler, what
- 8:55Speaker 2: are you working on?
- 8:56Speaker 1: We're going to talk about Lori Laughlin and her husband Massimo,
- 9:00Speaker 1: who never trusted her on screen husband John Seamos. Massimo
- 9:05Speaker 1: could not stand their friendship. Now it looked wholesome, but
- 9:08Speaker 1: you know, he just hated seeing how close she was
- 9:12Speaker 1: to John Stamos, who played her husband, you know, on
- 9:15Speaker 1: Full House they had twins together. She was aunt Becky
- 9:19Speaker 1: and look John and Laurie always had incredible chemistry, but
- 9:23Speaker 1: Massimo never believed it was just acting. He thought John's
- 9:27Speaker 1: charmed didn't stop when the cameras did, and sources tell
- 9:32Speaker 1: us that tenons flare during public events and Cherry Gilla's
- 9:35Speaker 1: when they were together. Laurie would light up when John
- 9:38Speaker 1: walked in, and Massimo would just shut down because he
- 9:42Speaker 1: saw John as competition. And that's so silly. Look, we know, Rob,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you are my work husband, and we have those and
- 9:52Speaker 1: we are so close. But of course you have a
- 9:54Speaker 1: wonderful husband at home, and I've got a wonderful husband
- 9:57Speaker 1: out there in the ether somewhere. Come to me. I'm RDA,
- 10:00Speaker 1: So I don't understand why Marsima would get so jealous.
- 10:04Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Let me ask a question. I've been thinking about this
- 10:08Speaker 2: and it is something that I think people sometimes struggle with.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Like when you and me are out together, mister, if
- 10:16Speaker 2: I wasn't as gay as a goose, it would be
- 10:18Speaker 2: easy for some people to think we are a couple
- 10:21Speaker 2: because we giggle and we laugh, and we talk close,
- 10:24Speaker 2: and we hold hands, and we share food and we
- 10:26Speaker 2: gossip away. We have the best time out. Would it
- 10:30Speaker 2: make a difference to somebody that you were dating if
- 10:34Speaker 2: I was a straight man, if you had that relationship
- 10:37Speaker 2: with the straight we touch each other mistery. We touch
- 10:39Speaker 2: each other's faces, we giggle together, we hold hands. I
- 10:43Speaker 2: wonder what, like if I was at if you, if
- 10:45Speaker 2: you were a gay man, and I reacted to you
- 10:49Speaker 2: the way that I do, would Bruce be as comfortable.
- 10:53Speaker 1: No, Bruce would be totally fine because he is the
- 10:56Speaker 1: cillo's coolest, the most smartest man in the world. And
- 10:59Speaker 1: he'd be like, that's just his friend and whatever. He
- 11:01Speaker 1: comes home to me at night. And I actually do
- 11:04Speaker 1: have a best male friend who's straight and he's married.
- 11:07Speaker 1: But our friendship dates back way before I met his wife.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And in fact, she kind of came to me and said, hey,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you know, tell me about him. So I think you
- 11:16Speaker 1: have if you have that brother sister relationship, which he
- 11:19Speaker 1: and I have. She's never been worried once. I mean,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe I should be upset you're not worried,
- 11:26Speaker 1: but I'm sure it makes it easier for everybody that
- 11:29Speaker 1: you're fabulously gay.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I think it makes it easier. This is so interesting. Friendships, relationships, husbands, wives,
- 11:37Speaker 2: How does it all mix together? John Stamos has been
- 11:40Speaker 2: trashing Mossamo. He's been saying he never liked him, he
- 11:43Speaker 2: was a narcissist. And now Mosamo's team are pushing back,
- 11:45Speaker 2: saying he never really liked you either, and so maybe
- 11:49Speaker 2: now's not the moment. And whatever Laurie and Mossamo are
- 11:52Speaker 2: going through, John's not helping me. I get it. You
- 11:55Speaker 2: do want to defend your friend. If you broke up
- 11:57Speaker 2: with somebody, mister, and I didn't like them, I would
- 12:00Speaker 2: trash them because I think I would think that I
- 12:03Speaker 2: was protecting you, but actually I wouldn't be protecting you.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I'd just be shooting off my mouth. Sometimes saying nothing
- 12:09Speaker 2: is the best way to help your friends. And that's
- 12:12Speaker 2: a difficult lesson for us all to learn, because we
- 12:14Speaker 2: want to fight for our friends. But in this case,
- 12:17Speaker 2: I think George h John, Sorry, I think John zip it,
- 12:21Speaker 2: Uncle Jesse, Enough, Okay, moving along. Hugh Jackman has said
- 12:25Speaker 2: enough hiding and now he's stepping out in public with
- 12:28Speaker 2: Sutton Foster. So we broke this story, but they were dating.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Other outlets are going to say they broke it. It
- 12:33Speaker 2: was not it was us. I know theater sources. My
- 12:36Speaker 2: husband's worked in theater. I have tons of friends in theater.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Miss d We're at Sardi's at least once a week.
- 12:42Speaker 2: We know theater, we know theater, and so I'm not
- 12:45Speaker 2: ever going to reveal the source, but you know it's
- 12:47Speaker 2: in the theater world. Sutton and you were in The
- 12:49Speaker 2: Music Man together, and they got together. They're in the
- 12:51Speaker 2: Music Man, and several little whispers, one very loud, one
- 12:55Speaker 2: very very senior, was in my ear. So I broke
- 12:58Speaker 2: this story well after it went public, after it exploded.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Then they sort of took a step back. They didn't
- 13:05Speaker 2: confirm it, they didn't deny it. He broke up with
- 13:08Speaker 2: his wife, she broke up with her husband. Now that
- 13:10Speaker 2: on the red carpet together, sources are telling me that
- 13:13Speaker 2: he's done hiding. Sutton is now his person and if
- 13:17Speaker 2: you don't like it, goodbye. This is who he's with.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It was sloppy, it was messy. Should he have broken
- 13:23Speaker 2: up with deb his wife of over twenty years before
- 13:27Speaker 2: he got together with Sutton, Yes, he should. He knows
- 13:29Speaker 2: that too. Didn't happen, and so I don't want to
- 13:31Speaker 2: give him a pass here. But I also understand that
- 13:34Speaker 2: love is very, very tricky.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, this is when your work wife or
- 13:38Speaker 1: husband goes awry. You're working together, you're doing a romantic
- 13:42Speaker 1: part together. You're on stage together, which I think is
- 13:45Speaker 1: even more intense than TV because it never stops. You're
- 13:48Speaker 1: going through a whole show of falling in love together,
- 13:52Speaker 1: night after night after night after night. But still I
- 13:55Speaker 1: think you made the clear point. I mean, we saw
- 13:58Speaker 1: Hugh and Deborah together and we thought, you know, hashtag
- 14:01Speaker 1: relationship goals, So for him to break up with her
- 14:04Speaker 1: and this kind of be all in the middle. You know,
- 14:06Speaker 1: if you find that you fall out of love, have
- 14:09Speaker 1: the respect to end your first relationship, even if you've
- 14:13Speaker 1: done the kiss and you know, stop for a moment,
- 14:16Speaker 1: tell the other person, let me end my first relationship.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I remember I was actually in this situation. Ooh, let's
- 14:22Speaker 1: get into delaana life. And I met a guy and
- 14:24Speaker 1: I thought, this was my man, my man, my man.
- 14:26Speaker 1: And then he's like, I got this other woman right,
- 14:29Speaker 1: And I said, and he gave me all this BS
- 14:31Speaker 1: and I just said, look, when you sat down and
- 14:34Speaker 1: talked to her and you end it, then you come
- 14:37Speaker 1: back to me. Obviously that did not work out because
- 14:40Speaker 1: he ain't here. But the lesson learned you got to
- 14:43Speaker 1: have the respect for the other person in that relationship,
- 14:47Speaker 1: and most of the time you're afraid, and that's not fair.
- 14:49Speaker 1: If you're gonna do the deed, then you have to
- 14:52Speaker 1: take the consequence.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yes, yes, well said mister. I'm giving you applause here
- 14:58Speaker 2: we are at church today to look at you. And
- 15:01Speaker 2: it would never have worked Outmsphy. Had you not said anything,
- 15:03Speaker 2: you would have ended up with an even more broken heart.
- 15:05Speaker 2: So even though it didn't work out, don't think that's
- 15:08Speaker 2: because you spoke up. It's not. It wasn't going to
- 15:10Speaker 2: work out. He never was going to have. I better
- 15:12Speaker 2: get out of it with your head held high. Okay,
- 15:15Speaker 2: talking about heads not held very high? Did He's team
- 15:19Speaker 2: already planning a freedom party for his release. He's been
- 15:22Speaker 2: announced he's going to be released on May eighth, twenty
- 15:25Speaker 2: twenty eight. If I go miss in on May ninth, mister,
- 15:28Speaker 2: you know who to call. And so he's out on
- 15:31Speaker 2: May eighth. Now his team of planning a huge party.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I don't think it's going to be a white party,
- 15:36Speaker 2: but you never know. With Diddy, he's absolutely shameless. Can
- 15:40Speaker 2: he have a comeback? I would argue yes, there's people
- 15:43Speaker 2: out there that actually support him now more than ever,
- 15:46Speaker 2: and Puffy knows how to play the game. I worked
- 15:49Speaker 2: with him, I've seen the pr stunts. He is going
- 15:52Speaker 2: to be back whether we like it or not. Okay,
- 15:55Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:57Speaker 2: be back. Hopefully you like it. Welcome back to the
- 16:01Speaker 2: naughty but nic sham your headstrom shooting with that dear friend, mistery, Hey, mistery,
- 16:04Speaker 2: let's get to the poll. Last year we talked about
- 16:07Speaker 2: Katie Perry and Justin Tradeau. I've learned how to say
- 16:11Speaker 2: that go official with their new romance. Do you like these?
- 16:14Speaker 2: To us a couple, Katie and Justin Do you like them? Oh?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Seventy five percent said yes, you do like them. The
- 16:19Speaker 2: pictures are gorgeous. They're both so beautiful. He's like this
- 16:22Speaker 2: big powerful politician. She's this big powerful pop star. I
- 16:27Speaker 2: like it too. Don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rom Our
- 16:33Speaker 2: facebook page is Naudy Gossip and be sure to check
- 16:36Speaker 2: back tomorrow to hit your results. And now it's done
- 16:39Speaker 2: for nist of the.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Day are nicest? Excuse me? Our nicest of the day
- 16:46Speaker 1: is Taylor Swift because she's not just performing, she's dominating.
- 16:50Speaker 1: So she's got that new album The Life of a
- 16:53Speaker 1: shore Girl, and it's officially locked down and the number
- 16:55Speaker 1: one spot on the Billboard two hundred charts for the
- 16:59Speaker 1: third consecutive week, making it one of the biggest pop
- 17:03Speaker 1: plays in twenty twenty five. I mean, it's got all
- 17:05Speaker 1: these fan favorite songs. I mean, if you know, you know,
- 17:08Speaker 1: hello Elizabeth Taylor, and it's just every breaking streaming record sales,
- 17:15Speaker 1: and she's just rewriting the rules again. I mean, music
- 17:19Speaker 1: right now is Taylor.
- 17:21Speaker 2: It's Taylor's with, It's Taylor's. There's nobody else. It is
- 17:24Speaker 2: Taylor's with. She deserves it to add nicest of the day.
- 17:27Speaker 2: She's a really nice person as well as been really
- 17:29Speaker 2: really talented. And now I noticed the dayteen naughty Naughty
- 17:32Speaker 2: Palace inside us are whispering that Virginia Duffrey's death might
- 17:37Speaker 2: not have been a suicide. It could have been something
- 17:40Speaker 2: much darker. So her ex boyfriend is saying that Virginia
- 17:43Speaker 2: was terrified and that she told him if she disappears,
- 17:48Speaker 2: she knows you know who did it. And she went
- 17:52Speaker 2: on to say he's powerful enough. She's talking about Prince Andrew.
- 17:56Speaker 2: He's powerful enough to make me disappear like Diana now
- 18:02Speaker 2: her father. Virginia's father said that he just did not
- 18:06Speaker 2: believe the suicide. He thought somebody had got to her,
- 18:11Speaker 2: and that the whole case is full of question marks.
- 18:14Speaker 2: We're not big on conspiracy theories on the Naughty but
- 18:17Speaker 2: Nice Show, but when the Palace starts to whisper like this,
- 18:21Speaker 2: I've got better sources in Buckingham Palace than any other
- 18:24Speaker 2: working journalists. Not only am I a reporter, I used
- 18:28Speaker 2: to be a publicist for the British Royal family, for
- 18:30Speaker 2: Princess Michael of Kensel. I've worked with this family. I've
- 18:34Speaker 2: had a paycheck each month from this family, so I
- 18:38Speaker 2: know this family. These whispers are really really loud. Misty
- 18:42Speaker 2: the person that knows everything is gone. That is very
- 18:46Speaker 2: very suspicious. Her book, though, is going to live on forever,
- 18:51Speaker 2: and it's like she's talking to us from the grave.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I'm reading the book right now, Misty, really disturbing, really upsetting.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Don't read it if you're looking for some entertainment, But
- 19:01Speaker 2: if you really want to sit down and get deep,
- 19:03Speaker 2: this might be the book for you. Hey, let's end
- 19:06Speaker 2: with a moment of rob Protecting your peace is more
- 19:11Speaker 2: important than proving your point. That's hard, isn't it mystic?
- 19:14Speaker 2: Because I love to prove my point. I love to
- 19:16Speaker 2: be right, But you know what, protecting my piece is
- 19:18Speaker 2: actually more important than proving my point. I don't need
- 19:22Speaker 2: to win every single argument. It doesn't make me any better.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is just
- 19:28Speaker 2: let it go. And that's not because you're weak. It's
- 19:31Speaker 2: because your value your energy more than anything else. Peace
- 19:36Speaker 2: is the prize. Let's say that again. Peace is the prize.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Not proving your point. Proving your point it might make
- 19:42Speaker 2: you feel better for a moment, but protecting your peace, mister,
- 19:46Speaker 2: that will change everything. So breathe, walk away and be
- 19:52Speaker 2: calm in the storm. That's your real power. Somebody's going
- 19:57Speaker 2: to upset you today. Maybe this week, let's try something
- 20:01Speaker 2: different instead of snapping, instead of being a bit bitchy,
- 20:05Speaker 2: instead of proveing how smart you are. And I'm gonna
- 20:08Speaker 2: get them, walk away, shake it off, just let them be,
- 20:13Speaker 2: try it. I've been trying this lately, mistery, and I've
- 20:17Speaker 2: gotta say I really like the results. I feel better
- 20:20Speaker 2: about myself twenty minutes later, two hours later, two days later,
- 20:24Speaker 2: I feel really good. Well, if I've given you a
- 20:27Speaker 2: piece of my mind, which I love to do. I
- 20:30Speaker 2: never feel that good about myself, so try a different option.
- 20:33Speaker 2: It might not work for you. If it doesn't work,
- 20:34Speaker 2: you go back to proving your point. But if it
- 20:37Speaker 2: does work, you're welcome. Hey, that is it for today.
