- 1:54Speaker 6: My graduates from my school being false back and drop
- 1:58Speaker 6: thanks rop Mike, drop back drop.
- 2:13Speaker 5: All right, guys, welcome back e y L. This is
- 2:16Speaker 5: a follow up from the legendary invest Fest yeah that
- 2:20Speaker 5: we had, so you know, we had a start started
- 2:21Speaker 5: lineup at invest Fest and one of the people that
- 2:25Speaker 5: was gracious enough to be a part of Investmentest was
- 2:29Speaker 5: Jessica Lane Jessica is somebody that we know logan for
- 2:32Speaker 5: what's that?
- 2:33Speaker 3: What's Jessica Lane? Remember the phase remember the name.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Period that's around with us?
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yeah, we connected a while ago. I think Jason this
- 2:46Speaker 5: is two weeks out person that introduced us really originally.
- 2:51Speaker 5: But long story short, Jessica hosted a dope panel for
- 2:54Speaker 5: US on building investment platforms, and it was really dope.
- 3:01Speaker 5: And part of that panel was, you know, of course
- 3:03Speaker 5: Mike sim shot out to him, who's hedgepoint manager in
- 3:06Speaker 5: Atlanta and he specializes in four X. So Jessica actually
- 3:10Speaker 5: has no MIC for a long time, and she actually
- 3:14Speaker 5: is a four X investor in herself. And this is
- 3:16Speaker 5: a conversation we've been having for a long time. We
- 3:18Speaker 5: did one episode on four X before a shot out
- 3:20Speaker 5: to Justin. But it's not when you look at like
- 3:23Speaker 5: Market Mondays, so if you talk about stocks every week
- 3:26Speaker 5: and crypto, we've been talking about crypto a lot. Also,
- 3:29Speaker 5: you know, one episode out of one hundreds that we've
- 3:32Speaker 5: had from when you combine Market Mondays and Earn your Leisure,
- 3:36Speaker 5: a lot of people just felt that it just wasn't
- 3:38Speaker 5: enough just to cover the wide variety of different strategies
- 3:41Speaker 5: and just you know the depth of it. So we
- 3:44Speaker 5: always can spend the block back and cover topic again.
- 3:48Speaker 5: So and it's dope to have a female perspective.
- 3:51Speaker 3: So having a woman investor is powerful.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Yeah, so she's she's been killing the game. Like I said,
- 3:56Speaker 5: she was on invest Fest stage in front of four
- 3:57Speaker 5: thousand people. Killed that.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Thank you for that.
- 4:00Speaker 5: So we're gonna have a dough conversation about her journey,
- 4:03Speaker 5: four X trading, how people have misconceptions about four X,
- 4:07Speaker 5: how you can make money on four X, and a
- 4:10Speaker 5: variety of other different things. So, first and foremost, thank
- 4:13Speaker 5: you for joining us.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Appreciate it absolutely absolutely for sure. Investments was amazing.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Thank you, thank you, thank you. Shading Atlanta. You're from Atlanta, right.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I'm born and raised was the greatest. That's my whole
- 4:28Speaker 2: life in Atlanta, and then I graduated from Spelman, Like
- 4:31Speaker 2: I'm in Atlanta.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Okay, you the whole Atlanta through going through shoutus Atlanta
- 4:36Speaker 5: that's like our second home. Oh we got so much
- 4:38Speaker 5: love out in Atlanta, so many people, so many connections
- 4:41Speaker 5: out there. So all right, let's let's talk about this.
- 4:44Speaker 5: So you have a unique journey because you're an investor.
- 4:49Speaker 5: But you started as an athlete and not you know,
- 4:51Speaker 5: when you think of women, that's athletes of course, w NBA, basketball,
- 4:57Speaker 5: track and field, really big gymnastics, things like that. But
- 5:02Speaker 5: you were a boxer. And I heard you almost made
- 5:05Speaker 5: to the Olympics something like that.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, sixteen, Yeah, I was. I was training for the
- 5:09Speaker 2: Olympic Trials. I lost in a semifinals at the Olympic Trials.
- 5:13Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. But the Olympics and boxing,
- 5:17Speaker 2: that journey taught me all of my discipline that I
- 5:20Speaker 2: need in investing.
- 5:22Speaker 5: How did you get into boxing?
- 5:23Speaker 3: I'm interested in that. How did we get to I mean,
- 5:26Speaker 3: did you do track and field too?
- 5:27Speaker 2: No? Now, I played basketball my whole life, like when
- 5:30Speaker 2: I was younger. Yeah, my dad and my mom played basketball,
- 5:33Speaker 2: so I was like a basketball baby. But I always
- 5:35Speaker 2: wanted to box. I was upset with Lei Lilie, and
- 5:38Speaker 2: I asked them in sixth grade could I box? They
- 5:40Speaker 2: say no. So then when I literally got a job
- 5:42Speaker 2: in high school, I got a job just so I
- 5:44Speaker 2: can pay for boxing. So I started at like I
- 5:48Speaker 2: would say, fifteen sixteen ish, and then I literally just
- 5:52Speaker 2: paid for my boxing lessons and that was it. And
- 5:54Speaker 2: then I started doing it every single day and then
- 5:56Speaker 2: I started sparring and I was good at it. My
- 5:58Speaker 2: trainer was like the first time I spared, I gave
- 6:01Speaker 2: this girl like I made her nose bleed, right. He
- 6:04Speaker 2: was like, you want to do this for I was like, yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 2: I want to do it for real. And then he
- 6:11Speaker 2: just started like we just started traveling on the road
- 6:15Speaker 2: going to fights and stuff like that, and then I
- 6:17Speaker 2: just started doing national fights and then that lit into
- 6:22Speaker 2: me training for the Olympics and then that journey. It
- 6:25Speaker 2: was just such a women in boxing is not really
- 6:28Speaker 2: a good thing for me because I'm not a girl
- 6:32Speaker 2: that is boyish. So for me, trainers like trying to
- 6:36Speaker 2: hit on you all this stuff. It was just a
- 6:37Speaker 2: very toxic like space because most boxers you see the
- 6:42Speaker 2: glitz and glamor of people on TV. It's not like
- 6:45Speaker 2: that when you're training, especially like for the Olympics, like
- 6:49Speaker 2: you in the trenches. You know what I'm saying, You
- 6:51Speaker 2: got a whole bunch of it was just it was
- 6:54Speaker 2: a lot. It was a lot.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:56Speaker 4: I mean I think people domestic seven when they see you,
- 6:58Speaker 4: they see glamor of beautiful woman.
- 7:00Speaker 3: But she was knocking people out for sure.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Have you knocked you knocked somebody out before?
- 7:04Speaker 2: I knocked somebody out in spine? Okay, not in a
- 7:07Speaker 2: real life match, of course. In real matches you have
- 7:09Speaker 2: like headgear and stuff like that. Your gloves are padded
- 7:12Speaker 2: like this USA regulations. There's no way again around that,
- 7:15Speaker 2: and you have to do the Olympics before you are
- 7:16Speaker 2: able to go pro. I didn't want to go pro
- 7:18Speaker 2: in boxing just because one, women don't make a lot
- 7:20Speaker 2: of money being pro, like it's not like the WNB. Well,
- 7:24Speaker 2: WNBA women don't even make a lot of money compared
- 7:26Speaker 2: to men. But I have friends that are pro boxers
- 7:29Speaker 2: right now. They make three thousand and four thousand, five
- 7:31Speaker 2: thousand a fight stuff like that. There are some women
- 7:34Speaker 2: that make like one hundred thousand, but it's still not
- 7:36Speaker 2: compared to I have a friend, okay that is a
- 7:39Speaker 2: male boxer. He literally made like three million his last fight,
- 7:43Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying.
- 7:44Speaker 3: So it's like, yeah, I'm thinking about it now. I
- 7:49Speaker 3: don't really even like undercards. How does that work?
- 7:52Speaker 4: Do they put female fights on male undercards or it's
- 7:54Speaker 4: just like it just depends.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But it's not even really promoted like that and shout
- 7:59Speaker 2: out to like I have a lot of great friends.
- 8:01Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. That are women boxers, tire Brown,
- 8:04Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. It's a lot.
- 8:07Speaker 5: But okay, so all right, so that doesn't work out.
- 8:12Speaker 5: What happened? You got injured?
- 8:13Speaker 2: No, I just decided the Olympic trials didn't work out.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I was like, this is not the life for me
- 8:17Speaker 2: because I knew I didn't want to go pro after
- 8:19Speaker 2: the Olympics. For women, it's like, what's next. There isn't
- 8:21Speaker 2: anything next, you know what I'm saying, not for me.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Like Clarissa Shield is the one that paved the way
- 8:26Speaker 2: for women's boxers, and then you have like Roquela Miller.
- 8:29Speaker 2: They're like amazing women fighters. But for me, I'm like, okay,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I got to get to the bag now because it's
- 8:36Speaker 2: a very broke grind.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Give me the time frame. Now are we in schooling,
- 8:41Speaker 3: training and doing this.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I was training for all of it the whole time
- 8:43Speaker 2: I was in college, so I did need to have
- 8:44Speaker 2: a college life. And then I was like fighting, fighting
- 8:47Speaker 2: and fighting. I would say I graduated twenty fourteen, so yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 2: from twenty I would say, twenty thirteen is to twenty
- 8:55Speaker 2: sixteen was the fighting gears?
- 8:57Speaker 3: Okay, got true, I got and.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Before that that was just straight training.
- 9:01Speaker 5: So okay, so how did you get introduced to four X?
- 9:06Speaker 2: How did you one of my nils? Okay, I'm a Delta,
- 9:10Speaker 2: I pledged altest moments. So one of my niils she
- 9:13Speaker 2: bought a house. Well, she was buying a house at
- 9:15Speaker 2: twenty three, and I was like, girl, wait what, run
- 9:18Speaker 2: it back real quick, tell me what you're doing. Yeah, okay,
- 9:22Speaker 2: so that's like a girl that pledges under me. Okay,
- 9:24Speaker 2: so she bought a house at twenty three. I was like, wait,
- 9:26Speaker 2: what how? And then she told me she was doing forests,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and I just started researching, research and researching. But of
- 9:32Speaker 2: course it's not like the forest that people see. Okay,
- 9:37Speaker 2: it's not the forest if people see. It's not a company.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I'm not affiliated with the company. I'm a completely independent investor.
- 9:44Speaker 5: So all right, so we'll let's talk about this. A
- 9:48Speaker 5: lot of people think FORX is a scam. They have
- 9:50Speaker 5: a very negative perception of four X. Why is that?
- 9:55Speaker 2: Why is that because the network marketing companies.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Network get out of fan network marketing company.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Well, so This is the thing. I have no problem
- 10:03Speaker 2: when network marketing companies with a business module, depending on
- 10:06Speaker 2: if it's like if it's herbal Life and you're selling
- 10:08Speaker 2: a protein drink for somebody to get in shape, Okay,
- 10:10Speaker 2: it's helping that person. But when it comes to forest,
- 10:12Speaker 2: a lot of people are like, hey, look at my lifestyle.
- 10:15Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, sign up, join me. You'll
- 10:18Speaker 2: have this lifestyle, you'll have all these calls, you'll have
- 10:20Speaker 2: this house, it's all this stuff. But they're not making
- 10:22Speaker 2: their money from trading. They're making their money from recruiting people.
- 10:26Speaker 2: So then you have a whole wave of people that's
- 10:28Speaker 2: like earn while you learn. Once you join this, I'm
- 10:31Speaker 2: going to teach you, but they don't ever teach you
- 10:33Speaker 2: because the thing is is if they taught you, ultimately
- 10:37Speaker 2: you don't need the company because you're making your money
- 10:39Speaker 2: through trading.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Makes sense.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I mean I feel like over the past five to
- 10:44Speaker 4: ten years, that's what it was like. I got invited
- 10:46Speaker 4: into a bunch of meetings where it was like, we
- 10:48Speaker 4: want to teach you something. I'm like, yes, stop, stop,
- 10:51Speaker 4: I know what you're trying to do. And I feel
- 10:53Speaker 4: like it hit our community hard. Yeah, Like chids were
- 10:55Speaker 4: just like I can make money. I can make money.
- 10:58Speaker 4: It's fast money. It's fast money, but it's not it's hard.
- 11:00Speaker 4: So when you got into the to the fort app
- 11:03Speaker 4: like game, not even gain but investing in forests, what's
- 11:06Speaker 4: the first thing you looked into to study? What?
- 11:09Speaker 2: So I needed to learn about the economy. Actually, the
- 11:11Speaker 2: girl that I told you I was twenty three years old,
- 11:13Speaker 2: she was actually a part on one of those companies.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And then I was like, oh no, this is not
- 11:17Speaker 2: what I want to do. I need to learn the
- 11:18Speaker 2: right way. I spend like over twenty one thousand dollars
- 11:20Speaker 2: to learn how to trade through this guy he like
- 11:24Speaker 2: has this hedge fund. He was this amazing investor. But
- 11:26Speaker 2: the thing is is that people don't realize the foreign
- 11:28Speaker 2: exchange market has been around for years upon of years.
- 11:30Speaker 2: It's just now coming on the map right now because
- 11:33Speaker 2: of these network marketing companies. And it's not even just one.
- 11:36Speaker 2: There are tons of network marketing companies out there that promote, hey,
- 11:40Speaker 2: learn how to trade. It's the systems and it's the
- 11:43Speaker 2: robots that is like, oh, put your money here and
- 11:47Speaker 2: let it automatically trade for you and everybody lose the
- 11:49Speaker 2: money and they're like, oh, I hate for it. No,
- 11:52Speaker 2: forest is just like anything else. Just like if you
- 11:54Speaker 2: decided right now that you want to go you know
- 11:57Speaker 2: what I'm saying, be a doctor. You're not going to
- 11:58Speaker 2: go in on the a floor at a whole at
- 12:01Speaker 2: a hospital and say, hey, I'm going to perform surgery. No,
- 12:04Speaker 2: you have to actually go to medical school and get
- 12:07Speaker 2: your credentials to actually perform that task. It's the exact
- 12:10Speaker 2: same and for it. So you have to learn the
- 12:12Speaker 2: skill set.
- 12:12Speaker 4: You got your guys from a hedge fund advantager? Where'd
- 12:15Speaker 4: you find them?
- 12:15Speaker 3: Because that's not like you don't walk down the street
- 12:18Speaker 3: and say like, oh hey, what do you do? Right?
- 12:20Speaker 4: And twenty one thousand kudos to you for investing in yourself.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Obviously you learn the skill that you have for your lifetime.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's not.
- 12:26Speaker 4: An easy task at the age I mean you're fresh
- 12:28Speaker 4: out of college, right, so at this time, what's that like?
- 12:30Speaker 3: And where'd you find the edge fal manager?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Okay? So let me back up. Okay, because I did
- 12:35Speaker 2: pay for a course first, and then of course I
- 12:38Speaker 2: lost a lot of money. It wasn't the course that
- 12:39Speaker 2: I should have paid for. Then I paid for another course.
- 12:42Speaker 2: So over the last course that I paid for he
- 12:44Speaker 2: was fifteen thousand. Honestly, I found him by the grace
- 12:46Speaker 2: of Guy. Everything in my life is about a grace
- 12:48Speaker 2: of Guy. He just lead me to the people that
- 12:50Speaker 2: I need to have. And so with that, that was
- 12:52Speaker 2: fifteen thousand. So it's fifteen thousand on top of six thousand.
- 12:55Speaker 2: So that corsus the twenty one thousand.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Okay, so let me ask you this. Let's let's get
- 13:00Speaker 5: into this conversation. We talked about stocks a lot. We
- 13:03Speaker 5: have a stock show called Market Monday shot at the
- 13:05Speaker 5: end heard of it. Is there a correlation between four
- 13:11Speaker 5: x and stocks?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 13:13Speaker 5: What is the correlation?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Except well, okay, so think about it like this. In stocks,
- 13:17Speaker 2: people are investing in companies, all right, to make their money.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You're you're literally researching companies. So you're looking at corporate owners,
- 13:24Speaker 2: you're looking at a company's that you're looking at all
- 13:26Speaker 2: these different things to decide whether or not that company
- 13:29Speaker 2: is good to invest in. And for us, we're looking
- 13:31Speaker 2: at different economies. That is telling us whether or not
- 13:35Speaker 2: that economy is a good economy to invest in. So
- 13:38Speaker 2: let's take gross domestic product for instance, Right, So GDP
- 13:42Speaker 2: in stocks, you guys look at GDP in regards to sectors.
- 13:46Speaker 2: So let's say there is a lot of imports coming
- 13:49Speaker 2: from China, and let's say it that's gonna benefit the
- 13:52Speaker 2: tech sectors. So you guys are looking at tech sectors
- 13:55Speaker 2: in the foreign exchange market, we look at imports and
- 13:57Speaker 2: ed sports because that tells us the overall health of
- 13:59Speaker 2: the economy. So if we have a lot of imports
- 14:02Speaker 2: coming in, that's telling us that, okay, consumer spending is there.
- 14:06Speaker 2: If we have consumer spending, then that means that our
- 14:08Speaker 2: economy ultimately is good at that point. So ultimately the
- 14:14Speaker 2: US dollar goes up. So everything adverse to the US
- 14:17Speaker 2: dollar we sell everything with the US dollar is the
- 14:19Speaker 2: base we buy.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, I get that.
- 14:24Speaker 4: So if I'm looking for the GDP right like, I'm
- 14:27Speaker 4: at beginner, where am I going to find a GDP?
- 14:30Speaker 4: I mean, obviously I know in stocks is we know
- 14:32Speaker 4: to go, But what is somebody in the four x space?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Where are they going?
- 14:36Speaker 2: A lot of people look at for its factory. That's one.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I look at market Watch for a lot of stuff.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I watch Bloomberg like literally NonStop like and then you know,
- 14:46Speaker 2: Bloomberg is twenty four hours if you got the subscription,
- 14:48Speaker 2: So I literally watch it and I trade London Session
- 14:51Speaker 2: a lot. So London session is a session and for
- 14:54Speaker 2: its you have different sessions, so depending on what session
- 14:57Speaker 2: you're choosing to partake in. And I mean it's just
- 15:00Speaker 2: like stocks, Like the news comes out, you understand what
- 15:03Speaker 2: that news is and you apply it. This past Friday,
- 15:06Speaker 2: we had non farm payroll. The expectant number was seven hundred.
- 15:10Speaker 2: It came in as two hundred. Literally, that's going to
- 15:12Speaker 2: cause the US dollar to drop. You see what I'm saying.
- 15:15Speaker 2: So it's a lot of correlations. Just it's just how
- 15:18Speaker 2: we apply it is a little bit different.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Can we talk about sessions real quick, because we've had
- 15:24Speaker 4: conversations with people who trade for it's not I mean
- 15:26Speaker 4: just in passing and that's something that gets overlooked. But
- 15:29Speaker 4: like trading, getting up at two o'clock to trade and
- 15:32Speaker 4: going to sleep, you know me during the day, so
- 15:34Speaker 4: you can trade at night.
- 15:35Speaker 3: I even had a young man chout to Ronnie Brown.
- 15:38Speaker 3: She was telling about her son.
- 15:39Speaker 4: He had to get to school by seven, so he
- 15:42Speaker 4: was like, mom, I probably can trade a different different
- 15:45Speaker 4: sector during my lunchtime and I'm like, oh, this kid's
- 15:47Speaker 4: really getting it.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Can you talked about that a little bit?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yeahah, course, of course. So you have different sessions. You
- 15:53Speaker 2: have the most prominent sessions that people trade is London session.
- 15:56Speaker 2: In New York sessions, it's just liquidity that pumps through
- 15:59Speaker 2: the market depending on what's happening in their economy. Our
- 16:02Speaker 2: session opens at eight am. In regards to our particular
- 16:07Speaker 2: New York session trading time, we're trading at eight am,
- 16:11Speaker 2: like I know, like when it comes to stocks wherever
- 16:14Speaker 2: case maybe I know that you guys have the opening
- 16:16Speaker 2: bill at nine thirty black hours. We look at eight
- 16:18Speaker 2: am as our market open for the New York session
- 16:22Speaker 2: for it.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Okay, So those are the two most popular.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Those are the two most popular. And then of course
- 16:27Speaker 2: you have New Zealand session. Well, ultimately you have New
- 16:31Speaker 2: Zealand session, you have Australian session. All of these sessions
- 16:35Speaker 2: correlate their back to back, so the Sydney session is
- 16:38Speaker 2: New Zealand and Australia together. Then you have the Tokyo
- 16:41Speaker 2: session and then you have that flows into London session
- 16:45Speaker 2: and then that flows into New York session.
- 16:47Speaker 3: So somebody could just be doing this all day.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah they chose to. Yeah, they chose to. But you
- 16:53Speaker 2: you choose your favorite pairs. Like, just like stocks, you're
- 16:56Speaker 2: not investing in everything, right, and for it, we're not
- 17:01Speaker 2: well granted, some people probably do. Real good traders have
- 17:06Speaker 2: their favorite peers that they trade. So what I trade
- 17:09Speaker 2: Primarily I trade great British pound versus US dollar. I
- 17:12Speaker 2: trade great British pound versus Japanese yen. I trade eur
- 17:15Speaker 2: O USD because I like those peers. They have the
- 17:17Speaker 2: most solatility, the most liquidity.
- 17:20Speaker 5: So let's back it up a little bit. If anybody
- 17:22Speaker 5: I might not be familiar with to pair. So if pairs,
- 17:24Speaker 5: you got one country's currency versus another countries' currency, right,
- 17:28Speaker 5: So the British pound versus the US dollar. Right, you
- 17:31Speaker 5: put the trade in and you're, for lack of a
- 17:34Speaker 5: better word, you're betting on a British pound for the day.
- 17:37Speaker 5: If the British pound outpaces the US dollar for the day,
- 17:40Speaker 5: then you win. If it doesn't outpace it, you lose.
- 17:42Speaker 2: So I don't want to say bad because it's actual, substantial,
- 17:46Speaker 2: fundamental data that is aligned to to tell you what
- 17:48Speaker 2: actual currency is going to do. So yeah, I don't
- 17:51Speaker 2: really look.
- 17:51Speaker 5: At it or not, Like I said, lack of a
- 17:53Speaker 5: better word, but you kind of you're placing right your judgment.
- 17:58Speaker 2: So Friday, actually let's take it back to invest Fest. Okay,
- 18:02Speaker 2: so invest Fast the day before it invests Fast. Well, actually,
- 18:06Speaker 2: the whole weekend of investm Fest literally starting the twenty seventh, okay,
- 18:10Speaker 2: was Jackson Holes Imposium. All right, So that's literally where
- 18:14Speaker 2: the FED is deciding whether or not they want to
- 18:16Speaker 2: taper off inflation. Okay, So in that if the Fest
- 18:21Speaker 2: decided that they're not gonna taper off inflation, that caused
- 18:24Speaker 2: our whole US dollar to drop, because ultimately, what's that saying.
- 18:27Speaker 2: The fat's been beating around the bush for that forever, right,
- 18:30Speaker 2: So if the Faster are deciding they're not gonna taper
- 18:32Speaker 2: off inflation, our US dollar drops, which means that they drown. Powell,
- 18:38Speaker 2: the FED chair, spoke at eight thirty am that morning
- 18:41Speaker 2: that Friday morning. I bought GBP USD because I knew
- 18:45Speaker 2: the US dollar was gonna tak Okay, So GBP is
- 18:48Speaker 2: the base US dollar is the quote. Basically, I'm saying
- 18:52Speaker 2: that the US dollar is going to be weaker than
- 18:56Speaker 2: the Great British pound at that time, so I buy
- 18:59Speaker 2: gb USD I sold the USDCAD. That was another pair
- 19:03Speaker 2: that I traded that day because it was just amazing.
- 19:08Speaker 2: It was amazing. It's just an amazing day. And then
- 19:11Speaker 2: a lot of people don't know this. And for it's
- 19:13Speaker 2: we use a platform or trade and platform called METI
- 19:16Speaker 2: Trader four okay, So literally we placed trades on gold
- 19:20Speaker 2: as well, even though gold is a commodity, but we
- 19:22Speaker 2: traded as a peer and for it, so it's gold
- 19:24Speaker 2: versus the US dollars. So also I bought gold that morning.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I wish I could show you all these starts on
- 19:29Speaker 2: trade and View because it's just it was beautiful. So fundamentally,
- 19:34Speaker 2: and this is the thing about forests, our fundamentals always
- 19:36Speaker 2: line up with our technicals, right, So technically I had
- 19:40Speaker 2: divergence all day long on the d X Y. The
- 19:43Speaker 2: d s Y is literally the dollar index, so I knew, okay, one,
- 19:48Speaker 2: I was at a level of resistance. I literally was
- 19:51Speaker 2: at this for I used Fibonacci a.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Lot, so I was I'm listening to you now, I'm like,
- 19:55Speaker 4: all right, I'm hearing the stock terms, right, So you're
- 19:57Speaker 4: talking about support and resistance.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so I was at every level of resistance.
- 20:01Speaker 3: OK. Gotcha.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I was at a negative sixty one point a on
- 20:04Speaker 2: my fifth level, which is my reversal level in regards
- 20:06Speaker 2: to my currencies. I also had divergence. Divergence is basically
- 20:12Speaker 2: where the RSI is doing something opposite.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Of price relative strength index.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Okay, yes, I'm not getting too So they were doing
- 20:22Speaker 2: two opposites. So technically I literally had three confluences. Confluences,
- 20:26Speaker 2: it's multiple things to add up to give you a
- 20:28Speaker 2: confirmation on your trade.
- 20:29Speaker 3: So you're looking for those of your signals.
- 20:32Speaker 4: The relative strength, right, that just means how many people
- 20:34Speaker 4: are buying and selling.
- 20:35Speaker 2: It's a check mark and you got your check.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Once I got all my checks on the list, all
- 20:39Speaker 2: of these technicals line up, and then I got this
- 20:42Speaker 2: fundamental data to give me why this is happening.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Oh, I'm going on in This is what Ian would say,
- 20:47Speaker 3: like load the book.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Yes, because you know you know what's gonna happen. If
- 20:52Speaker 2: you know what's gonna happen. And not only that, I
- 20:54Speaker 2: mean ultimately I'm the type of person I really do
- 20:56Speaker 2: feel as though like technicals and fundamentals, some people say, oh,
- 20:59Speaker 2: you only need technical so people say, oh, you can
- 21:01Speaker 2: only trade fundamentals. I'm very big on entries, Like they
- 21:04Speaker 2: call me the entry Queen and for it. So I'm
- 21:07Speaker 2: very big on entries. I think that you should have
- 21:09Speaker 2: the best entry possible, right because of course, the whole
- 21:12Speaker 2: goal is to buy low sell high. You don't want
- 21:14Speaker 2: to literally have a whole but your draw down in
- 21:16Speaker 2: your trades, Like you want to come in with the
- 21:18Speaker 2: best entry possible so you can leverage the most amount
- 21:21Speaker 2: of money to make the most amount of profit on
- 21:22Speaker 2: your trade.
- 21:23Speaker 3: What other platforms can you trade on that?
- 21:25Speaker 2: I mean, I just use Meta Trade. The other ones broke,
- 21:29Speaker 2: so you have different brokers that you can use, but
- 21:34Speaker 2: METI Trader for is the platform. There are tons of
- 21:38Speaker 2: brokers that you can use in the foreign exchange market
- 21:41Speaker 2: because technically a lot of them, like they're offshore brokers.
- 21:46Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I'm assuming, yeah, but it's
- 21:49Speaker 2: fees for everything.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm saying, but if you're doing it yourself.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Yeah, of course, but it's it's it's literally a whole
- 21:56Speaker 2: list of brokers, you know what I'm saying. Like, I
- 21:58Speaker 2: see I use LCM, that's some people use q goes away,
- 22:01Speaker 2: some people use kot For us, there are tons of
- 22:03Speaker 2: brokers you can use.
- 22:06Speaker 5: So okay, as far as entries, since you spoke about that,
- 22:11Speaker 5: how do you determine this is a good entry point?
- 22:13Speaker 5: Use technical analysis, Candlesticks, No, I.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Use technical analysis for all of my entries. My technicals
- 22:20Speaker 2: always tell me, okay, it is about to happen. Then
- 22:22Speaker 2: my fundamentals is like I could foresee the future that
- 22:25Speaker 2: something either good or bad is going to happen based
- 22:28Speaker 2: off of how my technicals are lying up. Right, So
- 22:31Speaker 2: if I'm at a heavy level of support like this,
- 22:33Speaker 2: every Sunday, I mark up the market for like literally
- 22:37Speaker 2: all my mentees around the world, right, I literally tell
- 22:40Speaker 2: them everything that's going to happen every week. It always happens,
- 22:46Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. So in regards to my entries,
- 22:48Speaker 2: what I'll do I'll wait for a break and retest,
- 22:50Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. Structure always tells you so,
- 22:52Speaker 2: like you said, Candlesticks, But of course it's not just
- 22:54Speaker 2: well and for us, it's not just Candlesticks. I'm literally
- 22:58Speaker 2: looking to see what price is doing. So of course
- 22:59Speaker 2: you could say, if it's a lot of volume in
- 23:01Speaker 2: the market or wherever the case is, like, maybe are happening.
- 23:04Speaker 2: But again, divergence is one of my main ones. I
- 23:08Speaker 2: don't really use indicators on my chart, but the only
- 23:10Speaker 2: one I do use as an RSI is only to
- 23:12Speaker 2: determine divergence. Once I see divergence, and then I use
- 23:15Speaker 2: FIBs for everything also, so I understand each FIB level,
- 23:19Speaker 2: each field level I have a meaning for. So a
- 23:21Speaker 2: lot of people be like, oh, sixty one point eight
- 23:23Speaker 2: is the golden ratio and that's the only one. No,
- 23:25Speaker 2: all of them matter, all of them have a meeting.
- 23:28Speaker 2: So if I understand that I'm in my thirty eight
- 23:29Speaker 2: point two, I know price is about to be aggressive
- 23:31Speaker 2: at this point, So I understand, like how I'm going
- 23:34Speaker 2: to carry this trade to the next tape profit level?
- 23:37Speaker 3: Okay? Okay, So I mean in trading, and we.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Always talk about it, we don't want to invest in
- 23:42Speaker 4: a bunch of companies and you say that you do
- 23:44Speaker 4: two pairs. And the reason we tell people not to
- 23:46Speaker 4: invest in so many companies is it's tough to research
- 23:49Speaker 4: and study and get technicals and fundamentals for all these companies.
- 23:53Speaker 4: What does that look like for you on a daily basis,
- 23:55Speaker 4: how much time are you spending on the technicals and
- 23:57Speaker 4: fundamentals before you may because I, like you said, you're
- 24:00Speaker 4: giving information to a lot of people.
- 24:03Speaker 3: What's the time that you're putting them to do that?
- 24:05Speaker 2: So my students know so far the masses I mark
- 24:08Speaker 2: up five fairs because they all know like y'all are
- 24:11Speaker 2: about to throw me off my game because at the
- 24:13Speaker 2: end of the day, I'm giving y'all money ultimately, So
- 24:17Speaker 2: I refuse to look at everything because I mean, you
- 24:21Speaker 2: know the whole saying jack about trades, master of Now
- 24:23Speaker 2: you need to really know what's going on in these
- 24:25Speaker 2: economies if you're going to trade them. I know everything
- 24:28Speaker 2: going on in the US economy, I know everything going
- 24:30Speaker 2: on Japanese economy. I know everything going on in the
- 24:32Speaker 2: London economy in Great British pown because those are peers
- 24:35Speaker 2: that I trade. You see what I'm saying. So I mean,
- 24:38Speaker 2: really that's it.
- 24:39Speaker 5: So let's have a conversation about the UK. You say
- 24:41Speaker 5: you study the UK a lot, because we have a
- 24:44Speaker 5: lot of listeners in London and in the UK. So
- 24:47Speaker 5: what is something that you know you study that you
- 24:51Speaker 5: notice in that economy? That might be a little different
- 24:53Speaker 5: from American economy.
- 24:54Speaker 2: So a lot of our stuff is very very very
- 24:57Speaker 2: very correlated because it's such a strong e economy. Like
- 25:00Speaker 2: when you're looking at strengths of economies, you're looking at
- 25:03Speaker 2: how strong that economy is compared to other economies. So
- 25:07Speaker 2: you have some countries that are very very big on imports,
- 25:11Speaker 2: and you have a lot of countries that are very
- 25:12Speaker 2: very big on exports. Okay, So like London, just like
- 25:16Speaker 2: the United States, is very very big on imports. Okay,
- 25:20Speaker 2: so their import driven economies. You have some countries that
- 25:23Speaker 2: will literally devalue their currency. Okay, I hope this makes sense.
- 25:29Speaker 2: But some countries I don't know if I'm not going
- 25:31Speaker 2: to because I don't want to go to d but
- 25:34Speaker 2: some countries devalue their currency to combat trade and balance.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yes exactly. Okay, I just made a video on this,
- 25:43Speaker 2: but yes, because it's true. Like so, so basically Japan
- 25:49Speaker 2: is ooh. I'm explaining like this because I feel like
- 25:52Speaker 2: techy people will understand this and stocks. So let's say
- 25:56Speaker 2: Japan produces Let's say, uh, what's something people like like
- 26:01Speaker 2: PlayStations or something like that. Let's say they say, okay,
- 26:04Speaker 2: it's going to take a thousand dollars to manufacture this product,
- 26:07Speaker 2: all right, So ultimately, if it's going to take a
- 26:09Speaker 2: thousand dollars to manufacture this product, I want to keep
- 26:13Speaker 2: my currency weaker than these other economies because I understand
- 26:18Speaker 2: supply and demand. And because I understand supply and demand,
- 26:21Speaker 2: I want to make sure that that the value of
- 26:26Speaker 2: what it costs to produce this product, right, is not
- 26:31Speaker 2: going to cost me a lot, because ultimately, if if
- 26:34Speaker 2: I make my currency stronger than the US dollar, or
- 26:37Speaker 2: make my currency stronger than the Great British pound, that's
- 26:40Speaker 2: going to cost me more to do my my ex sports.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Does that make sense? Okay? Perfect and great? I hope it.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I have you it does, because sometimes I'll be trying
- 26:50Speaker 2: to make sure I ain't going off with you. I mean,
- 26:51Speaker 2: not y'alls, but I'm talking about the audience.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Yeah, if you're exporting, it's more it's better to have
- 26:57Speaker 5: a week of dollar. If you're importing, it is better
- 26:59Speaker 5: to have a.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Short exactly, absolutely, Okay.
- 27:04Speaker 5: So aw right, so you're doing pairings mainly on what
- 27:08Speaker 5: are those three pairings that you're doing again?
- 27:10Speaker 2: So GBP USD, what's GB great British pound versus the
- 27:14Speaker 2: US dollar, Great British pound versus the Japanese yen, and
- 27:18Speaker 2: euros versus the US dollar. And that's it mostly, But
- 27:23Speaker 2: because I have so many students worldwide, I also mark
- 27:26Speaker 2: up USD CAB because I have a lot of students
- 27:28Speaker 2: in Canada also, and so, and that's what I mean
- 27:31Speaker 2: by fundamentals. Always a line. If you know it's a
- 27:34Speaker 2: strike on the oil refinery, you already know what's gonna
- 27:37Speaker 2: happen with USD cat. The Canadian dollar is gonna get weak.
- 27:40Speaker 2: That means everything in verse to it. GBP cat will
- 27:43Speaker 2: go up, USD cat will go up. You see what
- 27:46Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 27:46Speaker 5: So is anything? Is it? Every time I took I
- 27:50Speaker 5: think about for x is trading like day trading or
- 27:54Speaker 5: I heard you could even swing traded. I've never heard
- 27:58Speaker 5: anybody talking about long term hole. Can you long term investments?
- 28:01Speaker 3: That?
- 28:01Speaker 5: Does it make sense to do that?
- 28:03Speaker 2: It just depends. It depends because there's so much It
- 28:06Speaker 2: depends on what currency you're trading. Also, it's so much
- 28:08Speaker 2: volatility that occurs in the foreign exchange market that a
- 28:11Speaker 2: lot of people like. For it's because you can make
- 28:12Speaker 2: an amensible amount of money and on a short term basis.
- 28:16Speaker 2: But you have to know the skill set in order
- 28:19Speaker 2: to do it. That's a fact.
- 28:21Speaker 5: So how long are you holding up? It's just entry day.
- 28:24Speaker 5: It just depends on average, Like what's the longest that
- 28:26Speaker 5: you hold.
- 28:29Speaker 2: No more than a week?
- 28:30Speaker 5: No more in a week?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Man three to five days.
- 28:32Speaker 5: And mats short term swing trading. What's the rate of
- 28:35Speaker 5: returns that you look for?
- 28:37Speaker 2: Listen and they're amencible.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Like what's the average? Like what's the average for you?
- 28:43Speaker 2: But it depends, it depends on what's happening in the economy,
- 28:45Speaker 2: because this is the thing.
- 28:47Speaker 5: Last week, last week? What was your rate of returns
- 28:48Speaker 5: last week?
- 28:49Speaker 2: But I can't do it like this. Let me tell
- 28:51Speaker 2: you why I'm saying I can't do it like this,
- 28:52Speaker 2: because it's not just based off of the amount of
- 28:54Speaker 2: money that you're putting up. You can have one hundred
- 28:56Speaker 2: thousand dollars in your account unless they make twelve thousand.
- 28:59Speaker 2: That we right. That is because it's based off of
- 29:03Speaker 2: the lot size that you place on that position, opposed
- 29:08Speaker 2: to in stocks where you say, like I'm turning this,
- 29:12Speaker 2: I'm looking for a fifty percent return on this or
- 29:14Speaker 2: twenty percent or eight percent return on this. It's not
- 29:17Speaker 2: like that and for its because you're you're placing think
- 29:20Speaker 2: of it as futures to a certain extent.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Okay, So the lot side, so like what you're saying
- 29:27Speaker 4: in a sense is like, all right, when I'm training stocks,
- 29:29Speaker 4: if I get a twenty percent return, that might be
- 29:32Speaker 4: my exit out of the position or I might let
- 29:35Speaker 4: it go.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Yes, So you have a goal that day that you're
- 29:38Speaker 2: trying to make. So typically, on I would say on
- 29:41Speaker 2: an every week basis, I try to shoot for like
- 29:44Speaker 2: twenty to thirty percent. But this is the thing. It
- 29:47Speaker 2: just depends on what's happening that week. Also because if
- 29:51Speaker 2: it's not something that I really like Jackson Hole Symposium,
- 29:55Speaker 2: I mean eighty percent, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 29:59Speaker 2: whatever you said, Ian said, the goal all lit or whatever,
- 30:02Speaker 2: Like well, yeah, like it depends on what's happening, you
- 30:06Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. If I'm just doing my regular
- 30:08Speaker 2: day to day trades, I'm looking at twenty thirty to
- 30:11Speaker 2: thirty percent because I understand, Okay, One, I'm a very
- 30:15Speaker 2: disciplined trader first off, So even when I reach my goal,
- 30:20Speaker 2: I'm out, Like I'm not trying to go be like,
- 30:23Speaker 2: my goal is eighty percent literally over like I would say,
- 30:28Speaker 2: it just depends. I actually have all my goals written
- 30:31Speaker 2: on the back for real. Oh yeah, so you're looking
- 30:34Speaker 2: at it earlier like that, like say.
- 30:36Speaker 3: What's a lot of size? I heard you say that.
- 30:37Speaker 3: What's a lot? You said it depends on a lot
- 30:38Speaker 3: of size? What's that ex happening?
- 30:40Speaker 2: A lot of size is how much you're willing to
- 30:41Speaker 2: put up per trades. So if you have one hundred
- 30:43Speaker 2: thousand dollars account and you say I want to make
- 30:46Speaker 2: twenty Okay, so the market moves and.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Pips pips, that's future too, right, same thing right.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very very similar. So the market moves and pips, right,
- 30:56Speaker 2: So a lot size is based off of that move.
- 30:58Speaker 2: That's why when you ask me that question of like
- 31:01Speaker 2: what's on average? What are you looking at? It just
- 31:03Speaker 2: depends on like okay, so m Forest. Even when I
- 31:07Speaker 2: mark up my student for my students on Sundays, I
- 31:09Speaker 2: will say, okay, this is the short term move. We
- 31:11Speaker 2: have major and minor structure. Minor structure is the right
- 31:14Speaker 2: now money. Major structure is the play for the week. Okay,
- 31:18Speaker 2: because you already know that trades is volatile, so this
- 31:22Speaker 2: is going to happen right now. Then price is going
- 31:24Speaker 2: to pull back and then this longer term play is
- 31:26Speaker 2: what you need to catch for the overall move. Right now,
- 31:30Speaker 2: if I understand that on this shorter term move, because
- 31:33Speaker 2: I know it's not that much in regards to pips,
- 31:35Speaker 2: it could be fifty pips. So fifty pips is like
- 31:38Speaker 2: it's a unit of measurement. So think about if you
- 31:40Speaker 2: say you want to go outside and you want to
- 31:42Speaker 2: go run. If you say I'm about to go one
- 31:44Speaker 2: three miles, you just told me how far you're going
- 31:46Speaker 2: to run, and the market a pip is a unit
- 31:48Speaker 2: of measurement. So if the market pushes one hundred pips
- 31:51Speaker 2: and I trade a dollar per pip, and you trade
- 31:53Speaker 2: five dollars per pip, you now have one hundred dollars.
- 31:55Speaker 2: You now have five hundred.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Dollars or noah in futures as ticks, that's what it was.
- 31:59Speaker 3: It's like how many doesn't move, So it's similar thing. Yeah, okay,
- 32:02Speaker 3: got you. Now.
- 32:03Speaker 4: You said something about being a disciplined trader, and I
- 32:07Speaker 4: know a lot of times we talked about how sports
- 32:09Speaker 4: and Shotty talks about it a lot about how sports
- 32:10Speaker 4: helped him in certain ways about in life. And you
- 32:15Speaker 4: said that boxing was what caused you to be such
- 32:17Speaker 4: a disciplined trader. What are some of those attributes that
- 32:20Speaker 4: you took from boxing to help you in this trading platform.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Well, first off, managing my money and understanding that once
- 32:27Speaker 2: I reached his point, I'm not going to be greedy.
- 32:30Speaker 2: That's first off, because I'm a very very disciplined person.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Like when it came to my eating, when it came
- 32:35Speaker 2: to me just waking up and working out, nobody ever
- 32:37Speaker 2: had to get me to do that. Right when it
- 32:40Speaker 2: comes to trading, you always have to make sure that
- 32:42Speaker 2: you are the best way to say it is literally
- 32:46Speaker 2: dotting your eyes and crossing your tea's. Like some people,
- 32:49Speaker 2: because it's money and money is so accessible, especially in
- 32:52Speaker 2: a foreign exchange market, they place trades without doing their
- 32:54Speaker 2: due diligence to see if that's a good trade that
- 32:56Speaker 2: they should be in or not. So somebody could just
- 32:59Speaker 2: place the position position without like adequately researching that position.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Some people don't wake up for the session that they're
- 33:07Speaker 2: trying to trade. Like. It's so many different things, but
- 33:11Speaker 2: ultimately boxing med me who I am in regards to
- 33:17Speaker 2: even learning this skill set. Trading is hard, Like I
- 33:22Speaker 2: ain't gonna sugarcoat it, you know what I'm saying. But
- 33:24Speaker 2: because I'm such a disciplined person, I was willing to
- 33:28Speaker 2: go through the fire, you know what I'm saying. And
- 33:30Speaker 2: now it's at the point where I mean, you should
- 33:34Speaker 2: never tell somebody that you don't lose. Like I'm not
- 33:37Speaker 2: about to be like, oh, you know what I'm saying,
- 33:39Speaker 2: you don't lose. But at the end of the day,
- 33:41Speaker 2: when you understand your craft and you understand everything surrounding
- 33:48Speaker 2: it and what makes the market move, some people just
- 33:51Speaker 2: be like, oh, I'm a trader, but they can't even
- 33:52Speaker 2: tell me, Okay, what's happening with our economy right now?
- 33:55Speaker 2: Break it down for me, tell me what's happening. If
- 33:57Speaker 2: you don't understand fundamentally what is moving price, how can
- 34:00Speaker 2: you call yourself a trader. You can't just say, oh,
- 34:03Speaker 2: it's a level of support, this level of resistance, buy here,
- 34:05Speaker 2: sale here, or the RSI is overbought or over sold,
- 34:08Speaker 2: so you should place a body no, because it could
- 34:10Speaker 2: keep going down, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:12Speaker 3: I think that's what what was caught.
- 34:15Speaker 4: My attention was because I saw so many young people
- 34:17Speaker 4: involved and their perception was like, it's easy money.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I can make money very.
- 34:21Speaker 4: Easily without having the proper education for young people. What
- 34:26Speaker 4: are some of the skill sets that you would say
- 34:28Speaker 4: that are mandatory if they were going to get into
- 34:30Speaker 4: the space.
- 34:31Speaker 2: One learning fundamental analysis. A lot of people don't like
- 34:35Speaker 2: to read. You can't. You can't learn fundamentals without reading,
- 34:39Speaker 2: like like, you can't learn fundamental analysis without reading. Now,
- 34:46Speaker 2: I will say that if you're a very technical sound trader.
- 34:49Speaker 2: I have friends that are great technical traders. But you're
- 34:52Speaker 2: going to lose a lot of money before you're consistently profitable.
- 34:55Speaker 2: And that's a fact because you don't you don't have
- 34:58Speaker 2: anything to guide you. So in trading you have the
- 35:01Speaker 2: literally the opposites of hope and fear. Some people, especially
- 35:05Speaker 2: in for Its Right, they have anxiety in a market
- 35:10Speaker 2: as soon as it turns blue, they like me.
- 35:13Speaker 4: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 38:02Speaker 2: He swiped this over close disposition out and they don't
- 38:06Speaker 2: really understand how it works, like psychologically, right, A lot
- 38:13Speaker 2: of people are fearful when they're in profit that their
- 38:16Speaker 2: profits are just gonna go away or something like that,
- 38:18Speaker 2: so they'll close out their positions. But when they're in
- 38:21Speaker 2: losing trades, they hold them and they're hopeful that they're
- 38:24Speaker 2: going to turn around. But they never even had the
- 38:26Speaker 2: adequate like reasonings or reasons to be in this trade.
- 38:30Speaker 2: And in the first place, you see what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 38:35Speaker 2: So it's like that's the main thing. You got to
- 38:38Speaker 2: master psychology and that's how like discipline helped me. You
- 38:42Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, You got to master your psychology
- 38:44Speaker 2: psychology to everything in the market. You cannot be a
- 38:46Speaker 2: trader without having proper psychology.
- 38:50Speaker 5: So what is spreads on trades?
- 38:54Speaker 2: A spread is literally where what's the best way to
- 38:58Speaker 2: explain this? A spread is where the best way I
- 39:01Speaker 2: can just sprain it is where a broker will literally
- 39:04Speaker 2: increase the spread for them to make money.
- 39:09Speaker 4: So, in a sense, we talked about it like it's
- 39:12Speaker 4: a car, right. The asking price is what you're going
- 39:14Speaker 4: to when you walk into a dealership. That's what they're
- 39:16Speaker 4: telling you. Got to pay for your bid is what
- 39:19Speaker 4: you're saying that you're willing to be for. That difference
- 39:21Speaker 4: in between is where the brokes is usually the money.
- 39:24Speaker 5: Yeah, so the.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Similar so yeah, so they make they make their money
- 39:27Speaker 2: off of spreads. Brokers make their money off of spreads
- 39:29Speaker 2: in the posits period and.
- 39:30Speaker 5: It could be either variable or fixed. Yeah, okay, so
- 39:34Speaker 5: I would as the way.
- 39:36Speaker 2: But this is the thing when it comes to spreads
- 39:38Speaker 2: and for it, your trading times are increased spreads.
- 39:44Speaker 5: So I explain that, so.
- 39:46Speaker 2: When you are in high volume trading sessions, they're going
- 39:49Speaker 2: to be larger spreads because at the end of the day,
- 39:51Speaker 2: the broker they know you want to trade during this time,
- 39:53Speaker 2: so they're going to charge you more to find a
- 39:56Speaker 2: buyer for a seller and a seller for a buyer
- 39:57Speaker 2: in this particular time.
- 39:59Speaker 3: So usd that at eight am.
- 40:00Speaker 2: That's how literally the spreads will increase and then you'll
- 40:03Speaker 2: see them gradually go back down as soon as the
- 40:06Speaker 2: market opens, especially on Sunday. Sunday is literally where Sydney
- 40:10Speaker 2: session opens and five pm our time, So we can
- 40:13Speaker 2: trade at five pm our time on Sunday, it's right,
- 40:16Speaker 2: But that's eight am their time, right, So that's when
- 40:20Speaker 2: the first like trading session begins. As soon as Sunday hits,
- 40:23Speaker 2: the spreads are and then they gradually go back in.
- 40:28Speaker 5: So what's what's the best time to trade?
- 40:32Speaker 2: New York session or London session? But also it's just
- 40:36Speaker 2: New York session is literally eight am Eastern time and
- 40:40Speaker 2: then three am that's London. London sessions three Eastern Standard time.
- 40:45Speaker 5: Those are the best time to trade, yes, but this
- 40:46Speaker 5: is the thing.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Also, it depends on what type of trader you are
- 40:49Speaker 2: and how good you are. If you're somebody that is
- 40:52Speaker 2: not a good trader and you like slower trades, then
- 40:56Speaker 2: you might think Australian session is better, you know what
- 40:59Speaker 2: I'm saying, or Tokyo. So it just yeah, it's not
- 41:01Speaker 2: as volatile at all. New York session and London session
- 41:04Speaker 2: are the most volatile sessions. Everybody's up trading, everybody's uptrading.
- 41:09Speaker 2: But also because they are such strong economies, that is
- 41:13Speaker 2: where the most movement happens.
- 41:15Speaker 3: So let's go to this.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Since during the pandemic right, what was I mean, what
- 41:21Speaker 4: was the effect on the forest market? I know what
- 41:23Speaker 4: it was on obviously the stock market similar impacts.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Or no, completely different, it was different because okay, so
- 41:32Speaker 2: first off, coronavirus affected everywhere, period, point blank. But from
- 41:37Speaker 2: a forests perspective, like, okay, how can I explain this
- 41:41Speaker 2: from a forest perspective, every single economy was affected differently, right,
- 41:46Speaker 2: So from a fundamental perspective, there was a lot of
- 41:50Speaker 2: fear in the market. But when you understand your technicals
- 41:53Speaker 2: and then you're at certain levels that you understand, price
- 41:56Speaker 2: still followed structure, if that makes sense. Does that make sense?
- 42:01Speaker 3: Okay?
- 42:01Speaker 2: Grateful? Okay, so probably still followed structure. That's how so
- 42:06Speaker 2: we make money whether the market goes up or down,
- 42:08Speaker 2: like if the market crashed tomorrow that is you remember
- 42:12Speaker 2: on when Michael's on stage and I asked him, I
- 42:15Speaker 2: specifically asked him this question because again we trade gold,
- 42:18Speaker 2: and well, gold is a commodity. However, on a METI
- 42:21Speaker 2: trade or for a platform four x traders trade gold. Okay,
- 42:25Speaker 2: So I asked Mike, I said, hey, right now, with
- 42:28Speaker 2: all everything that's going on with the Taliban in Afghanistan,
- 42:31Speaker 2: like Afghanistan literally sits on one trillion dollar worth of
- 42:34Speaker 2: resources and precious metals, So how do you think gold
- 42:37Speaker 2: is going to be affected? He was like, were about
- 42:39Speaker 2: to make a lot of money, like literally that that's
- 42:42Speaker 2: that's the truth. Anything that happens, good or bad will
- 42:46Speaker 2: cause us to make money. If you understand the skills
- 42:49Speaker 2: and if you under like if you have the proper
- 42:52Speaker 2: knowledge one, but also understand again your entries, your exits,
- 42:58Speaker 2: like all of that.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Okay, margin can you can you trade on margin with
- 43:04Speaker 5: for X just.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Like everything is leverage positions. All of our positions are leverage.
- 43:11Speaker 5: All of your positions, so you can't just you have
- 43:13Speaker 5: to use margin.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah, explain that all of our positions are leveraged. So ultimately,
- 43:19Speaker 2: if we place the trade, like even banks, when banks
- 43:22Speaker 2: trade in the foreign exchange market, they literally hedge their
- 43:25Speaker 2: positions to mitigate risks, but they're using margin to do so.
- 43:29Speaker 2: In the foreign exchange market, we use leverage on every position.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Is that like like dangel I know, like in Soca, it's.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Definitely if you don't know what you're doing. That's why
- 43:39Speaker 2: a lot of people say for it's a skim and
- 43:41Speaker 2: they lose all their money. But that's because they don't
- 43:42Speaker 2: have proper education. You got to learn how to do it.
- 43:46Speaker 5: So what are some of the biggest mistakes that people
- 43:48Speaker 5: making for.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Us getting out there too soon? Not not having proper knowledge?
- 43:55Speaker 2: All right? Because for X is something that I would
- 43:59Speaker 2: say is what we all know has been around for centuries.
- 44:02Speaker 2: But because it's the market with the least barriers and entry,
- 44:07Speaker 2: which meaning which means that like a options contract, a
- 44:10Speaker 2: good options contract, somebody cannot come in with a good
- 44:13Speaker 2: options contract with no less than two thousand dollars for
- 44:15Speaker 2: a good one. Right now, if they come in with
- 44:19Speaker 2: a good options contract, let's say that they do all
- 44:21Speaker 2: their research or whatever case, maybe they're not putting up
- 44:23Speaker 2: two thousand dollars unless they do their research. And afore,
- 44:26Speaker 2: in a shange mark, you got people getting in with
- 44:27Speaker 2: one hundred dollars, one hundred and fifty dollars, three hundred dollars,
- 44:31Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. So it's just like you say,
- 44:32Speaker 2: kids playing in the market, like ooh, it's a video
- 44:35Speaker 2: game by seale by sale, Like no, you know what
- 44:38Speaker 2: I'm saying. So the main thing that I could say
- 44:40Speaker 2: is not having proper knowledge, like that's the biggest mistake.
- 44:46Speaker 4: So that's good for the people. But you also said
- 44:48Speaker 4: that you failed when you started.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so what I's also over one hundred thousand dollars.
- 44:53Speaker 2: I literally lost my entire saviors in the account and
- 44:55Speaker 2: I was depressed.
- 44:57Speaker 3: It was let's not skip that point.
- 44:59Speaker 5: It was that was.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Nothing but the grace of God. Like I'm telling you,
- 45:02Speaker 2: like I literally knew that it was real, and I
- 45:04Speaker 2: was like, God, like I need like I remember corn
- 45:07Speaker 2: in the middle of the floor. I fasted for twenty
- 45:10Speaker 2: one days, was in a prayer closet, slipped in my
- 45:13Speaker 2: prayer closet, like I'm talking about journal like it went
- 45:16Speaker 2: on a streak like fast, like because I'm like, this
- 45:20Speaker 2: is a block after you. Yeah, that was after I.
- 45:25Speaker 5: Had So you did that to get the money back?
- 45:27Speaker 2: No, no, no, Jesus.
- 45:38Speaker 3: In the closet.
- 45:47Speaker 5: Human sacrifice.
- 45:48Speaker 2: See you see that down and no.
- 45:51Speaker 3: I didn't even noticed you.
- 45:53Speaker 2: See them down to me right now, time coming down here,
- 45:55Speaker 2: trying to get it true. Hey, y'all, plow hair play
- 46:00Speaker 2: God looking at y'all like y'all laughing at my back.
- 46:03Speaker 5: I trying to understand.
- 46:05Speaker 3: That that boy, right, God, y'all God's watching.
- 46:07Speaker 2: God literally looking at y'all like y'all laughing at my
- 46:09Speaker 2: baby right now.
- 46:10Speaker 4: No, No, we never need you because you didn't lose
- 46:15Speaker 4: you learn that. So I want to because there's a
- 46:16Speaker 4: lot of people that are losing money, and so I
- 46:18Speaker 4: want you to go through your experience because you're a
- 46:21Speaker 4: season trader now, and so I don't want them to
- 46:23Speaker 4: go down the same route.
- 46:25Speaker 3: I don't want them to end up in the closet.
- 46:26Speaker 3: I don't.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I'm just trapped in a closet.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Shout all right now. But like so one of the
- 46:40Speaker 3: things that you learned from that, obviously, Okay.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Let me just go back, let me just go back. No,
- 46:46Speaker 2: I did not sleep in the closet to say, hey, God,
- 46:49Speaker 2: can you give me my back my money back if
- 46:51Speaker 2: I make this sacrifice.
- 46:52Speaker 4: No.
- 46:53Speaker 2: But what I will say is that when you are
- 46:55Speaker 2: in certain places and spaces in your life where you
- 46:57Speaker 2: know that there's a void, you just have to do
- 47:00Speaker 2: certain things to get closer to God and like really
- 47:03Speaker 2: to hear from him, to really even understand is this
- 47:05Speaker 2: your path? Because regardless for the same my path, I
- 47:08Speaker 2: ain't gonna be successful at a period. You know what
- 47:10Speaker 2: I'm saying, like God has an annoying on every single
- 47:13Speaker 2: calling that you have in your life, even y'all doing this.
- 47:16Speaker 2: You know how many people start pass who start podcasts,
- 47:20Speaker 2: but they're not successful. Y'all have an anointance to do this.
- 47:24Speaker 2: That's why it's skyrocketed in the way in which it has.
- 47:27Speaker 3: You appreciate that, just.
- 47:29Speaker 2: My life and for it, my students have the testimonials
- 47:34Speaker 2: that they do because I was anointed to do this,
- 47:37Speaker 2: and I truly know and believe that because of how
- 47:40Speaker 2: many people's lives I've changed in the process. So when
- 47:44Speaker 2: it came to me fast and I'm like God, Like,
- 47:46Speaker 2: first off, is this even for me? You know what
- 47:48Speaker 2: I'm saying, like I wanted to hear from God. I
- 47:51Speaker 2: think a lot of people don't believe that they can
- 47:52Speaker 2: hear from God or have a conversation with Him, Like
- 47:54Speaker 2: God come to me in my dreams. God comes to
- 47:56Speaker 2: me like God literally speaks to me. You know what
- 47:59Speaker 2: I'm saying on different things in different places and situations.
- 48:02Speaker 2: That is just like should I be doing this or
- 48:04Speaker 2: should I not? Am I following the money or is
- 48:07Speaker 2: this my purpose? Is this something that you calling me
- 48:09Speaker 2: to do? Or am I just looking at everything else,
- 48:11Speaker 2: trying to figure out how I need to be financially stable,
- 48:14Speaker 2: like lead me to what it is that I need
- 48:15Speaker 2: to do or who I need to be in order
- 48:18Speaker 2: for me to literally manifest greatness.
- 48:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's that's so powerful because a lot
- 48:22Speaker 4: of people get that misconscrewed. They're chasing the money and
- 48:25Speaker 4: they forget that there's a purpose on their life, right,
- 48:28Speaker 4: and so they just feel like, since I'm making money,
- 48:30Speaker 4: this must be the purpose.
- 48:31Speaker 3: A lot of times it's not.
- 48:32Speaker 4: And so you see that happening, especially in the business world,
- 48:36Speaker 4: where people will up and change careers because it wasn't
- 48:39Speaker 4: my purpose, you know what I mean.
- 48:40Speaker 3: So that that's powerful, that's powerful.
- 48:41Speaker 5: Tess'm so like when you lost on that, what was
- 48:43Speaker 5: the reason how you lost it? Just uneducated? Trade?
- 48:48Speaker 2: I educated? And then once you at that time.
- 48:52Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 48:52Speaker 4: Earnest, Look at twenty six, I made one of the
- 48:55Speaker 4: most important decisions of my life. That's right. I didn't
- 48:58Speaker 4: have family at the time, but I did have a
- 49:00Speaker 4: life insurance policy. A wise man told me life assurance
- 49:03Speaker 4: isn't about the people who die, It's about the people
- 49:05Speaker 4: who live. It's one of the best ways to secure
- 49:08Speaker 4: generational wealth for your family's future, and it makes perfect
- 49:11Speaker 4: sense why people get life insurance, especially term coverage, which
- 49:14Speaker 4: surprisingly is affordable. Why not pay a little bit each
- 49:18Speaker 4: month to secure the future of the people you love
- 49:21Speaker 4: long term. If you're asking yourself that question, I want
- 49:24Speaker 4: you to check out Ladder. Ladder makes it impressively fast
- 49:27Speaker 4: and easy to get coverage. You just need a few
- 49:29Speaker 4: minutes in a phone or a laptop to apply. Ladder's
- 49:32Speaker 4: algorithms work instantly, so you'll know right away if you're
- 49:35Speaker 4: approved for coverage, no hidden fees, and you can cancel

- 49:42Speaker 4: now is the time to get started, So check out
- 49:45Speaker 4: Ladder to day to see if you're instantly approved. Go
- 49:47Speaker 4: to Ladder life dot com slash ey l that's l
- 49:51Speaker 4: a d d er Life dot com slash eyl that's
- 49:56Speaker 4: Ladder Life dot com slash eyl. You know how this word.
- 50:00Speaker 4: Don't wait, don't hesitate. Secure your family's future right now.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Once you don't really understand why you're taking the losses
- 50:08Speaker 2: and you keep doing the same thing but also not
- 50:11Speaker 2: managing your risk properly and then staying in positions too
- 50:16Speaker 2: long again, hoping that it's going to turn around without
- 50:19Speaker 2: the proper education for even like it's just so much
- 50:23Speaker 2: that I know now that I didn't know then you
- 50:25Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, And it was just like, Okay,
- 50:31Speaker 2: I got it. Do you know what I'm saying at
- 50:33Speaker 2: that moment?
- 50:34Speaker 5: Yeah, let me ask you this. Do you have stop
- 50:36Speaker 5: losses in trading?
- 50:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 50:38Speaker 5: What's your usual stop loss? No?
- 50:41Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, it's based off a structure. I think
- 50:43Speaker 2: that's where you have the differences between for it and stocks. Yeah,
- 50:49Speaker 2: because I based all my stop losses off a structure.
- 50:51Speaker 5: What does that mean?
- 50:52Speaker 2: Structure last whole, last high, last low in the market
- 50:56Speaker 2: depending on what time frame I'm trading, So you have
- 50:59Speaker 2: different trends inside of last lea's high and last low,
- 51:02Speaker 2: last low and last high based off of different trends
- 51:05Speaker 2: that I'm trading. So of course you have. And like
- 51:07Speaker 2: I had mentioned in regards to like the Sunday calls
- 51:10Speaker 2: that I do when I'm talking about major and minor structure,
- 51:12Speaker 2: that minor structure is a structure that is entire side
- 51:16Speaker 2: of an overall structure. Right, So if I'm trading minor structure,
- 51:20Speaker 2: I'm not going to go past the last low on
- 51:21Speaker 2: that minor structure. Because if that's the case, then your
- 51:24Speaker 2: direction is wrong. You see what I'm saying.
- 51:27Speaker 5: So you pay the base you stop loss or a
- 51:29Speaker 5: technical analysis, Yeah, off of previous lows and high previous highs.
- 51:34Speaker 5: If it hits that previous lowest, it's automatically sells it
- 51:37Speaker 5: because if it hits that high, it sells it.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Is that correct, Not if it hits the low, it
- 51:42Speaker 2: sells it because we take profit opposed to sales. You
- 51:48Speaker 2: see what I'm saying. Like we we placed bids, we
- 51:50Speaker 2: play sales, but when we close out, we just hit
- 51:53Speaker 2: take profit. You see what I'm saying.
- 51:55Speaker 5: But like if it goes if it doesn't go as
- 51:57Speaker 5: expected and it starts to like it closes out, what
- 52:01Speaker 5: closes it.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Out hitting your stop loss?
- 52:04Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying. The stop loss is based off
- 52:05Speaker 5: of a previous law.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, Okay, I'm learning a lot here.
- 52:11Speaker 4: I want to talk about your superpower and that's being
- 52:13Speaker 4: one of one of your superpowers, because I think you're
- 52:15Speaker 4: an amazing huven being, but as being a woman trader
- 52:19Speaker 4: and shout out with at invest vest Ryan Leslie talked
- 52:22Speaker 4: about the power of women traders and how they're more rational,
- 52:24Speaker 4: more discipline, more measured. Now that you're actually teaching it,
- 52:29Speaker 4: are you noticing that at.
- 52:30Speaker 3: That pattern as well with your students? And can you
- 52:33Speaker 3: talk to that?
- 52:36Speaker 2: Okay? So yes, And though in regards to my students,
- 52:39Speaker 2: I think that it is. I have some amazing students. Okay.
- 52:43Speaker 2: I has this lady name is Barbara, Mims Barbara sixty five.
- 52:45Speaker 2: She literally make about ten thousand a week. Okay, Ms
- 52:49Speaker 2: Barbara saying pretty shout shout out toms Barbara, because I
- 52:53Speaker 2: love me some is Barbra. I love me some is Barbara.
- 52:59Speaker 2: I will say my older women's students are. I have
- 53:04Speaker 2: some that are in their twenties thirties that are not
- 53:10Speaker 2: as disciplined as my older women's students. But of course,
- 53:13Speaker 2: I think that's life. You know what I'm saying. I
- 53:16Speaker 2: think that's like a life thing, live experience. But then
- 53:19Speaker 2: at the same time, I'm twenty eight and I'm super disciplined,
- 53:22Speaker 2: so it's like I can't really say it. I know me, okay,
- 53:26Speaker 2: and I know I can't be outwork, and I just
- 53:28Speaker 2: got that mentality when it comes to Miss Barbara. I
- 53:31Speaker 2: think Mss Barbara and Angelica and all of these other students.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Like I have a student her name's Angelica. She flipped literally,
- 53:38Speaker 2: I think it was like two hundred and fifty dollars
- 53:40Speaker 2: to ninety one hundred and three weeks right now. Of course,
- 53:45Speaker 2: the more your capital grows, you're going to be more
- 53:48Speaker 2: conservative about your trades, which is why I say that
- 53:51Speaker 2: twenty thirty percent a week, I'm good because the balance
- 53:53Speaker 2: that I'm at, I don't like. I don't have a
- 53:56Speaker 2: reason to risk like a lot. But I have a
- 54:00Speaker 2: lot of students that will start an account with small
- 54:03Speaker 2: amounts of money because if they start with a small
- 54:06Speaker 2: amount and they turn it like ultimately, they don't have
- 54:08Speaker 2: fear because they know they're not losing this submit significant
- 54:12Speaker 2: amount of money. So Chantel is another one. She lives
- 54:17Speaker 2: in Jamaica. Chantail April of twenty twenty started her account
- 54:22Speaker 2: with two hundred and fifty dollars. In December, seven months later,
- 54:25Speaker 2: she literally flipped it to six hundred thousand USD. So
- 54:30Speaker 2: it's not Jamaican money.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds like a Jamaican thing to do. I know,
- 54:35Speaker 3: no playing that's what I'm saying, that's what we do.
- 54:40Speaker 3: That's not what we do.
- 54:41Speaker 2: But the psychology behind that is because I talk to
- 54:45Speaker 2: all of them about it, because I've never started an
- 54:47Speaker 2: account with anything less than five thousand. So the psychology
- 54:50Speaker 2: behind theirs was if they lose it all, they only
- 54:54Speaker 2: know they lost two hundred and fifty dollars, and that's
- 54:56Speaker 2: how they got over their fear. You see what I'm saying.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's.
- 55:02Speaker 5: I want to ask you a question, taxes. How is
- 55:05Speaker 5: taxes meaning that you're dealing with foreign currency? Does that matter?
- 55:09Speaker 5: It's just taxes, regular capital gains American.
- 55:12Speaker 2: It's tax regular capital gains American. Okay, yeah, because anything
- 55:16Speaker 2: that you put into your US bank account is going
- 55:18Speaker 2: to be tax it's just like US dollars. But while
- 55:21Speaker 2: it's in your your foreign exchange accounts, like.
- 55:26Speaker 3: Technically, so I mean typically that's a good question.
- 55:31Speaker 4: It's most predominantly short term capital gains, right, so they're
- 55:34Speaker 4: gonna pay the highest tax on yeah, past the year
- 55:37Speaker 4: in the day.
- 55:37Speaker 2: But this is the thing we put our money. Like,
- 55:40Speaker 2: when we trade, we're still trading US currency. All of
- 55:43Speaker 2: our money is in US dollars, even though when we
- 55:48Speaker 2: are trading it, we're trading against another currency. But it's
- 55:52Speaker 2: still in the US dollars, like I can trade let's
- 55:55Speaker 2: say something GBP JP Y great British trown versus Japanese. Yeah,
- 56:00Speaker 2: but I'm not trading my US dollars. My US dollars
- 56:04Speaker 2: is just trading that peer.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Okay, okay, got it?
- 56:10Speaker 5: Okay that makes sense?
- 56:11Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I got it?
- 56:13Speaker 5: So is this something? Is this something that you all right?
- 56:18Speaker 5: So do you think in order to be a successful trader?
- 56:22Speaker 5: How how many hours a day do is? Is it take?
- 56:25Speaker 5: Because I know people that make a lot of money trading,
- 56:27Speaker 5: whether it's four X crypto stocks whatever. Do you have
- 56:31Speaker 5: to sit in front of your computer all day? What's
- 56:33Speaker 5: the time frame? How many hours a day do you
- 56:35Speaker 5: have to be dedicated to do this?
- 56:36Speaker 2: Once you learn a skill set, I just mark up
- 56:38Speaker 2: all my charts on Sundays and set my alerts, and
- 56:40Speaker 2: where price gets to where I needed to go, it's
- 56:42Speaker 2: going to alert me and that's when I place my trades.
- 56:44Speaker 5: So how many hours a day?
- 56:47Speaker 2: Not even one?
- 56:48Speaker 3: So you're like it's automated for you at this point.
- 56:51Speaker 2: Today you set the trades Sunday, I mark up Sunday.
- 56:54Speaker 2: I will probably spend about two hours analyzing everything I
- 56:57Speaker 2: need to learn. I mean, analyzing everything I need to analyze,
- 57:00Speaker 2: mark up all the peers that I'm a trade for
- 57:01Speaker 2: the week. Yeah, all right, Then when the market is open,
- 57:05Speaker 2: I'm not just scaring at the charts waiting for price
- 57:07Speaker 2: to get to where I wanted to go. I said
- 57:08Speaker 2: an alert, and then the alert noticefies me when price
- 57:13Speaker 2: is there. At that point, I'm gonna look to see Okay,
- 57:16Speaker 2: it's just doing my break and retest, make sure I
- 57:18Speaker 2: got all my eyes doted and my te's crossed, and
- 57:21Speaker 2: then I placed the trade. Now, from a fundamental perspective,
- 57:24Speaker 2: I research, like, but I'm not really just staring at
- 57:28Speaker 2: my charts. I'm just like always abreast to what's happening
- 57:30Speaker 2: because that's my craft.
- 57:33Speaker 5: Okay, because yeah, I know people that you know are
- 57:38Speaker 5: doing this all day. So I was interesting to know.
- 57:41Speaker 2: I think that those are scalpers though, So in trading
- 57:46Speaker 2: where we talked about where you just asked me like,
- 57:47Speaker 2: do you have like position traders. So you have scalpers,
- 57:50Speaker 2: you have entry day, you have swing traders, and then
- 57:53Speaker 2: you have positions. Okay, So the scalpers are the ones
- 57:57Speaker 2: that literally wake up and it's like okay, let me
- 57:59Speaker 2: look at that candlestick. Okay, there's a lot of volume
- 58:01Speaker 2: in here. Let me plus a buy, let me catch
- 58:03Speaker 2: ten pips. All right, I'm about to close it out
- 58:05Speaker 2: and let me move on. And now I want to
- 58:06Speaker 2: place these trades and then they end up placing like
- 58:08Speaker 2: seventy eighty trades in a day. No, No, great traders,
- 58:12Speaker 2: you only need really two three trades a week to
- 58:17Speaker 2: make your week, and it would be a beautiful week.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Some you know what I'm saying, some who are position
- 58:24Speaker 2: traders Like I'm not a position to trader. I don't
- 58:26Speaker 2: even really consider myself a swing trader. Because the thing
- 58:29Speaker 2: is is when I say, like, okay, I'll hold a trade,
- 58:32Speaker 2: let's say sometimes three days, it's because sometimes the trade
- 58:34Speaker 2: can be in consolidation before the move actually happens. So
- 58:37Speaker 2: I could get in at the top of that consolidation
- 58:40Speaker 2: where I still don't go and draw down while the
- 58:42Speaker 2: market is moving. It's just moving in that consolidation up
- 58:45Speaker 2: until the point where it hits my TP. I entered
- 58:47Speaker 2: the trade on Sunday, it closed out this morning. You
- 58:51Speaker 2: see what I'm saying. But that's because that great British
- 58:54Speaker 2: pown it hit pushed down a little bit. Going into
- 58:56Speaker 2: Monday morning, it hit my minor structure. It consolidated a
- 58:58Speaker 2: little bit, and then this morning and felt.
- 59:00Speaker 3: Some more and then automatic, Yeah, it.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Hit my tap profit Like I don't even have to
- 59:05Speaker 2: look at it for it to take profit. The most
- 59:07Speaker 2: people that like stare at their charts twenty four to seven,
- 59:09Speaker 2: they're the ones that's literally like scalping and like just
- 59:14Speaker 2: looking at volume and just present by yourself based off
- 59:17Speaker 2: of the volume that's occurring in that moment, opposed to
- 59:20Speaker 2: really understanding that, you know what I'm saying, the monetary
- 59:24Speaker 2: ecosystem of what's happening.
- 59:27Speaker 3: So at this.
- 59:28Speaker 4: Level, I mean, and I'm sure you had some mentors
- 59:31Speaker 4: along the way. What was that process like of seeking
- 59:35Speaker 4: them and finding a trusted one?
- 59:38Speaker 2: Y'all gonna laugh when I say this, but it was
- 59:39Speaker 2: god Like. Think about this, Even me meeting y'all, even
- 59:44Speaker 2: this whole investments thing, it was nothing but god Like.
- 59:48Speaker 2: I didn't say, hey, God Like, you know what I'm saying.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Even me meeting Michael, I literally just so happened to
- 59:54Speaker 2: be at an event. You know what I'm saying, Shout
- 59:56Speaker 2: out to Michael. I just don't happen to be at
- 59:59Speaker 2: an event to Michael. Then literally even before investmentest, like
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: I was like, dang, I want to speak an investment,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: but it was just a thought. I literally was dreaming
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: and then I was on stage an investments.
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: Then this is true.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: I'm serious, dreams come true.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Like you, It's real though, Like my mentors, I truly
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: believe that everybody that is in my life happens because
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: God puts them there and they are supposed to be
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: a part of my path and they are supposed to
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: be a part of my annoyancing if not. Like I
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: don't force relationships, I don't force friendships. I don't try
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: to meet people whoever it is supposed to be in
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: my life for the calling which God has for me
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: on this earth is going to be there. So the
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: mentors that I have, one of them, I don't even
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: know how I found on him, Like I really don't.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: He came to me like I legit manifested it.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: Say so, how'd you get in to the teaching And
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: we'll talk about your platform that you have where you're
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: actually educating people, because this is one of these things
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: that it's like a lot of times I get this
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: question a lot, like in my financial planning course. But
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: it's like people want to They got the long term investing,
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: they got that, but they want to try to find
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: a way to supplement their income and they want to
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: make money through investing. And it's like it's hard to
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: really make money through investing with long term unless you
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: have a lot, a lot of money. Then you have dividends,
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: but you have to have a lot of money just
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: to live off with dividends. So it's like, you know,
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: sometimes that's why people go into like the short term
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: options of the world or futures four x trading. So
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: this is a way where people actually can make you know,
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: money theoretically thousand dollars a day, two thousand whatever, you know,
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: whatever your skill set is, whatever you can do. So
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: this is something that I understand why people are interested
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: in this because it allows you a form of cash
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: flow through investing outside of the long term. So how
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: did you get into teaching this? And what is that
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: look like as far as like you're building out your platform,
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: what do you teach your students? Like, what's that include?
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Yeah, So how I got into teaching was I just
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: wanted to travel and trade. Once I got through the
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: fire and learned it. I was consistently profitable. I would
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: say April twenty nineteen was when I started seeing big profits,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: like because your four age journey. I was trading for
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: five years, but that onlyan you profitable for five years
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: you in your learning process. So April twenty nineteen that
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: was when I first made January February March was when
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I started first making my profits. April I went to
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Thailand for two months and I'm just going to travel
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: this trade like that was it. And then one of
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: my friends see me. He was like, you know, god,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: dn't get the skills there to keep it to yourself.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: And then I was like, okay, whatever. I just kept traveling,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: like for real. I went to Malaysia, I went to Singapore.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: It was beautiful. And then he hit me up again
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: and he was like, he did this free Monday night call.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: He was like, he taught Mondays and Thursdays. He was like,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: I want you to take over Mondays. So I don't
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: want to do that. I didn't want I didn't want
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: the headache of people Like that might sound so terrible
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: to say, but I really just didn't want the headache
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: of people. So I was like not just want to travel,
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: and trade kept doing it and then it just kept
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: replaying in my head. And then I had called him back,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: probably like a month and a half later, and I
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: was like, all right, I'll do it. So June June
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: going into well really June, I had started teaching. I
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: just just started doing his free call on Mondays. And
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: then this lady was like, I want you to be
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: my private mentor. Her name was Dang Maria. She was
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: my first student. I was like, girl, me what no?
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Not?
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Me Like it's okay, just keep hopping on the calls,
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: you'll learn. She was like no, I'm serious. And then
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: that was August twenty nineteen. Then I got Maria to
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: the point where she was able to retire herself and
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: her mom, and then I was like dang. And then
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: people kept asking me, can you just teach? Can you
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: just teach? And then that's when I started doing it.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: And so I had this twelve week long course where
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: literally I take them through how to be profitable. In
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: my course, none of my students start from scratch. It's
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: so crazy because I didn't even leverage my social media
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: following because I felt like people off of Instagram just
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: wanted to get rich quick money. I didn't want nobody
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: from Instagram. So they literally had a process. They had
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: to hop on my Sunday calls first, my Sunday and
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Monday calls first before they can even be accepted as
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: a student. Then they had to go through this whole
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: like testing portion. Most students that I have, they lost
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: like over fifty thousand dollars before I started teaching them
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: twenty thousand, Like they just was through the fuire, but
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: they understood the basis and then I just make them profitable.
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: So like, what are some of the things that you teach.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Structure is one of the main things, because a lot
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: of people don't realize and for it, trading is not
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: a strategy, it's structure. Some people would have like a
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: London breakout strategy where they'll be like, oh, person, body
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: stop and the sales stop and when London session opens,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: it's gonna shoot up and whichever one goes grant like
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: whichever one turns the blue close it out. No, that's
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: not it's not trading. Some people will be like, oh,
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: when the SMA across the ema literally carry it twenty
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: pips and then close out like that's that's all these
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: different strategies. But strategies will always fail you if you
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: don't understand structure in the economy. So literally I teach
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: structure in my course. The second assignment is the literally
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: the hardest, but I teach you how to literally read
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: the market. You need to be able to read the
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: market like the back of your hand, like I know
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: what's gonna happen based off of seeing it. You see it.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: Yeah, And it's one of these things like the more
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: you not just good, the more you do it, the
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: more you the more you become comfort anything. It's like
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: riding the bike, and then I guess you you have
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: like different strategies as far as like technic cortnolysis and
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: stuff like that. So it's crazy because one of my
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: friends actually was out in vis Fait Investments and he
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: met somebody and they was the long story short. He
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: gave him like five hundred dollars to invest with him
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: in four X and crypto, like a combination force and crypto.
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: And I was with him yesterday, so it was like
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: a week later and he was like at twenty eight hundred,
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: He's like, I don't know what he's doing. That hopefully
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: is not a scam. He's like, what he's showing it
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: to me? And da da da da. He was like,
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: so he was really excited to buy it. So literally,
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: we just had that conversation yesterday. So yes, if anybody's interested,
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: I believe the website. And once again, if you watch EYL,
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: you know that any program that you know we have
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: on our show, that you know we let people promote
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: on our show. One of the stipulations that we always
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: have to have a discount for the earners is something
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: that we are very passionate about. We feel like, you know,
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: we always support business, especially black business, and education. That's
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: not said I invest in education because he wasn't privy,
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: so I always I personally invest in my education. I
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: buy a bunch of courses. I've been very vocal about that,
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: and I support the entrepreneurs in the online space to
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: have courses. I feel like it's just a fraction of
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: what you would pay if you go to Harvard or
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: any of these institutions, and it's something that you can
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: implement right away, as opposed to getting sixty thousand dollars
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: student loans and having to wait, you know, four years
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: to try to get a job, and then you know
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: you can't get a job, and I can go on
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: the whole rant about that. So I'm very, very big
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: in the online education space. But like I said, anybody
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: that we have on that has a course a program,
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: we always try to have the cheapest price on the
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: market for that. So Jessica obliged to that. So she
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: took five hundred dollars off of her program. And this
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: is the only place where it's discounting on this price,
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: so it's the cheapest place on the market that you
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: can actually buy the program. And the website is just
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: j E. S. S invest eyl dot com. That is
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: just j E. S. S invest eyl dot com. If
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: you want that special promo for all the earnings five
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: hundred dollars off of the program which will teach you
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: how to get up and running and make a profit
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: trading four x of the information that you need to know,
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: you can go there. Once again, thank you for doing that.
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: I appreciate it absolutely. Yeah, yeah, for sure. So what's next?
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: What's next for you? What's what's the on the vision board,
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: what's your plans on scaling business anything else.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna own a hedge fund M m that's next.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Remember the face, remember the name.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Not for real, I'm gonna own a Hedge fun Like,
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: even when you ask about mentors, even Mike coming into
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: my life like that, I mean him and my mentor
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: for years, but like it's I don't know, I can't
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: even explain it. It's got you know what I'm saying.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, shout out to Mike, Mike Simpsons, and that's
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: how we've had conversations about that.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: So we gotta make this happen. We're gonna make it happen, right.
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: Mike, Yeah, good dude. So yeah, sure, the Hedge Fund
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: is definitely on the list.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm definitely. I'm gonna be the richest woman in America.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna be the Warren Buffett a woman.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: And I know it.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: It's already happening.
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Anything else outside
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: of that.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: So I'm building a school in Africa. I'm super excited.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: Like that's big. I'm building a school in Africa.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: I got I'm building a school in Africa. No, you
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: gotta use that in No, So I've built in a
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: school in Africa. I mean, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: it's just a lot of people that need it there.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Their poverty is not like our proverty. I feel like
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: our poverty, not to say it's by choice, but the implicant,
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: the implications of colonialism is just real, real, all right.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: And we're talking about I know here and I went
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: to Spelman, so I studied literally like African diaspora all
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: of that, right, but we have that better off here,
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: even after slavery, even with racism, than they do there,
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: and that is terrible to me.
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: So during you're traveling the trade times, when you were
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: traveling this is yeah, yeah, so.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: I was just yeah. So I was in Africa and
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: I realized how many people well really, I did an
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: event in Africa. It's so crazy. Trapp said he was
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: going to Africa, and I was like, I want to
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: go to Africa, and I swear I manifested it is.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: It's so crazy. This person hit me up and was like, hey,
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: I want you to do any event in Africa. A
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: week later, I did the event. I met a whole
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: bunch of people. I really realized how real, real, real
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: poor people were. And then I was like, oh, I
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: got to go to school here, and that's how.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: It happened, Dope.
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: What's the name of the school going to be?
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: I don't know. I ain't decided yet.
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: All right, all right, it's going to be. What grade
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: is it going to be?
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: It is going it's a financial literacy school, so.
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: It's not great to anybody.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Okay, it's a financial literacy school.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: I'm inspired, dope, don't go say I usually do it
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: because they believe it.
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: That's a fact. How can people follow you social media
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: website all that information?
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Usclane I T S J E S S
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: I C A L A I N E.
