- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with I our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's time for bachelor headlines. We got some headlines this
- 0:08Speaker 2: week coming through. The First one is you know it's
- 0:12Speaker 2: not written here, but it is something we care about
- 0:15Speaker 2: because of the Almost Famous og podcast. Ryan Sutter, Trista
- 0:21Speaker 2: Sutter's husband posted something on Instagram this week that made
- 0:25Speaker 2: us think that, well, trist has been gone. He pretty
- 0:28Speaker 2: much says it, we don't know where she's at. Ashley,
- 0:32Speaker 2: I would love for you to describe this post because
- 0:35Speaker 2: it is a big headline and it made headlines with
- 0:38Speaker 2: people's curiosity of where is Trista Sutter.
- 0:42Speaker 3: I don't think of Ryan as one for cliff bait, but.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I don't think he meant it. I don't think he
- 0:48Speaker 2: meant it to be clickbait. I have to read it.
- 0:51Speaker 3: It's so dramatic. I know you wish you were here
- 0:55Speaker 3: for Mother's Day. We wish you were too. But sometimes
- 0:58Speaker 3: being a mom means letting go of their hands, granting
- 1:01Speaker 3: independence and stimulating their courageous spirit. Sometimes it's necessary to
- 1:07Speaker 3: exemplify the characteristics you preach and to do rather than
- 1:11Speaker 3: to say. Sometimes it takes being uncomfortable and scared to
- 1:15Speaker 3: show them that it's okay to be uncomfortable and scared.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Sometimes you have to go away so that they know
- 1:22Speaker 3: you'll come back, that your love is not limited by
- 1:25Speaker 3: distance or difficulty or time. I'm sorry, I'm laughing a
- 1:29Speaker 3: little bit because it is very dramatic. Sometimes you have
- 1:32Speaker 3: to do what you sometimes have to do. We're proud
- 1:36Speaker 3: of you, Mama pajama or everything that you do for
- 1:39Speaker 3: us near or far. And then there's another post. There
- 1:44Speaker 3: was two posts, he says, Uh, I guess it was Yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 3: most day or the day before. They say that absence
- 1:52Speaker 3: makes the heart grow fonder. I can think of only
- 1:55Speaker 3: a handful of days I have not, at minimums spoken
- 1:58Speaker 3: to this incredible woman. A picture of her. She is
- 2:02Speaker 3: the love of my life and my best friend. I
- 2:03Speaker 3: cannot imagine loving her any more or any more fondly.
- 2:08Speaker 3: But I guess we're gonna find out dot dot dot
- 2:11Speaker 3: miss her already.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Goodness gracious. So we don't know where Tris is at
- 2:15Speaker 2: in the world. It doesn't sound like there's anything responding
- 2:17Speaker 2: to our text though. Guys. Yeah, so she's like around.
- 2:22Speaker 2: We just don't know doing what we'll try to find out.
- 2:24Speaker 2: We'll give you updates as we do, and then once
- 2:26Speaker 2: we do, we'll bring Trista on to do the interview.
- 2:30Speaker 2: There's no trouble in paradise. It just sounds like she's
- 2:35Speaker 2: she's gone doing something fun. Who knows.
- 2:40Speaker 3: The comments are like, why did you have to be
- 2:43Speaker 3: so cryptic? What's going on here? I'm concerned? Why so dramatic?
- 2:48Speaker 2: What's the Yeah, it's wild all right. So onto the
- 2:54Speaker 2: headlines that we do have listed here. A bachelorette, Hannah
- 2:58Speaker 2: Brown details her reuni with ex Tyler Cameron. Also, she
- 3:03Speaker 2: answers the question if Tyler Cameron is invited to her
- 3:06Speaker 2: wedding Ashley, what's going on? Would she say? And is
- 3:11Speaker 2: he invited to the wedding?
- 3:14Speaker 3: Well, she says that he's he's not necessarily invited or
- 3:17Speaker 3: not because she has not come up with a guest
- 3:20Speaker 3: list yet, A good way.
- 3:21Speaker 2: To answer her question.
- 3:26Speaker 3: And as far as what this article is about, it's
- 3:29Speaker 3: basically saying that what she said on id for them
- 3:33Speaker 3: to address some unresolved feelings and the potential of moving
- 3:38Speaker 3: forward as friends. And then the question of friends is like, okay,
- 3:42Speaker 3: well how much friends are you going to be? Are
- 3:44Speaker 3: you going to invite him to the wedding, and she says,
- 3:48Speaker 3: no one has gotten an invite yet because we don't
- 3:50Speaker 3: have a list.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It'll be interesting to see. I don't know why he'd
- 3:56Speaker 2: be invited. I mean, especially if they've spent the last
- 3:59Speaker 2: few years not being like super close.
- 4:02Speaker 3: It's yeah, that would be weird.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I doubt that, Yeah, it would be odd. Emily Ferguson
- 4:10Speaker 2: Emily Ferguson Carlson celebrates Mother's Day. Life has been more
- 4:14Speaker 2: meaning now. That is the quote on Bachelor Nation.
- 4:18Speaker 3: They had a Mother's Day article about Emily. Her son
- 4:22Speaker 3: just celebrated one year. He's a year old and she
- 4:26Speaker 3: is now a new aunt as of two weeks ago
- 4:28Speaker 3: with Haley giving birth, and she says being a mom
- 4:31Speaker 3: is such an honor. To be here to witness his
- 4:34Speaker 3: life and all the milestones is truly the honor of
- 4:36Speaker 3: a lifetime. I will never take motherhood for granted. It's
- 4:39Speaker 3: a love like no other, unexplainable, truly blissful and perfect.
- 4:43Speaker 3: I'm the happiest I've ever been, and my heart is
- 4:46Speaker 3: so full. That's so sweet.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I love that.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I always knew that Emily and Haley would both be
- 4:50Speaker 3: such good moms. They are Oh yeah, they're gret full
- 4:54Speaker 3: of love and emotion and affection.
- 4:56Speaker 2: They sure are. We're speaking of affection or black. Later off,
- 5:03Speaker 2: Victoria Fuller breaks silence about split from Greg. Breakups are
- 5:07Speaker 2: never easy, she says.
- 5:09Speaker 3: So she kind of ignored the fact that they broke
- 5:11Speaker 3: up on social media for a few weeks. He was
- 5:13Speaker 3: the one that kind of came out and talked about
- 5:15Speaker 3: it a little bit earlier, I think on Jason's podcast,
- 5:18Speaker 3: and she cant from the split on her side by saying, Hi,
- 5:25Speaker 3: not really sure we're to start here, but I haven't
- 5:28Speaker 3: felt up to talking about my breakup. To put it bluntly,
- 5:31Speaker 3: breakups are never easy, and especially when it's so public.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I absolutely love sharing my life with you guys, but
- 5:37Speaker 3: some moments are meant to be private. We are all
- 5:39Speaker 3: going through something, so just remind her to be kind.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Everyone handles breakups differently, and I'm choosing to process mind
- 5:45Speaker 3: in peace. Thank you to the people who have reached
- 5:47Speaker 3: out and been supportive. She ended the post by saying
- 5:50Speaker 3: that she wishes Greg nothing but the best and can't
- 5:53Speaker 3: wait to see where life takes them both.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Is it weird, Ashley for me to have a hard
- 5:59Speaker 2: time imagining them not together now, like it felt like
- 6:02Speaker 2: it was so meant to be, and it did feel
- 6:04Speaker 2: like they made so much sense together that you know,
- 6:08Speaker 2: there's some breakups that are hard for me to like
- 6:10Speaker 2: kind of move past, and I know we're going to
- 6:12Speaker 2: get into the longevity of a breakup story here, but
- 6:15Speaker 2: like Caitlin and Sean, for example, was one. I was like,
- 6:18Speaker 2: it's still in my mind at times, Pops in that
- 6:20Speaker 2: they're like, it's hard for me to imagine them not together.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Victorian Greg kind of sit in that same space.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I can feel that on I can figure on that. Yeah,
- 6:30Speaker 3: they definitely seem to have some powerful chemistry and I
- 6:37Speaker 3: felt I felt them together, but I also know I
- 6:41Speaker 3: also knew that, like they had their ups and downs, right,
- 6:44Speaker 3: there was always break up.
- 6:46Speaker 2: It was going to be. Yeah, I mean they're passionate peoples.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yeah, right, there's gonna be a little turbulence in the relationship.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And there had been times where they had gone without
- 6:56Speaker 3: posting and people were speculating and then they would end
- 6:59Speaker 3: up posting like a month or so later. So I mean,
- 7:02Speaker 3: I'm not one shocked, but I completely agree. I associate them.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I will probably always associate them together.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so much more than Victoria Fuller and Chrystals.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah it was well, I forgot about until they were
- 7:16Speaker 3: in the same room together.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah I did too. Yeah, I introduced the two of
- 7:20Speaker 2: them kind of knowing that they they did, but just for.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Fun, yes, for her giggles.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Ta Booth gets candid about struggling with mental health and
- 7:40Speaker 2: taking a social media break. Yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I watched all of TIA's content about her social media break.
- 7:49Speaker 3: I was quite intrigued by it. I understand. I understand
- 7:52Speaker 3: what she was talking about a lot in there. It's hard.
- 7:56Speaker 3: It's also like she and I both acknowled, it's like
- 8:01Speaker 3: we have the greatest jobs in the world as influencers,
- 8:05Speaker 3: being able to work from home and just all the opportunities,
- 8:08Speaker 3: and it's just it's great. But it also is hard
- 8:12Speaker 3: when your job is to be on social media, which
- 8:16Speaker 3: everybody knows is often not the best thing for your
- 8:20Speaker 3: mental health. And there's a lot of comparison, and there's
- 8:24Speaker 3: a lot of just like a competition and when is
- 8:29Speaker 3: this going to be over? And I can to take
- 8:31Speaker 3: advantage of everything that comes at me. So she just
- 8:34Speaker 3: was talking about that and said that she really needed
- 8:36Speaker 3: to take a break, even though it was just three days.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Even she said that she wanted to take a break. Ideally,
- 8:42Speaker 3: she talked with her husband about possibly taking like a
- 8:47Speaker 3: week or so to like go to like a retreat
- 8:49Speaker 3: and like really like turn in her phone. But she
- 8:52Speaker 3: said that a lot of this started when she lost
- 8:56Speaker 3: her dad and she started feeling disconnected to herself, and
- 9:01Speaker 3: she just feels like lately it's been building up more
- 9:04Speaker 3: and more. She's back on social media, but she is
- 9:09Speaker 3: just trying to navigate it now in a little bit
- 9:13Speaker 3: of a different way, so it's not all consuming in
- 9:15Speaker 3: her life. Yeah, it makes sense, like recently. Put this
- 9:19Speaker 3: is just like a little tip for anybody out there
- 9:21Speaker 3: who feels like they are on Instagram too much. And
- 9:25Speaker 3: just like whenever they grab their phone before they without
- 9:28Speaker 3: even thinking you click the app, if you move the
- 9:30Speaker 3: app over a couple pages so it's not right there
- 9:34Speaker 3: on your home screen, it does.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Help a lot. There's a few things that my wife
- 9:39Speaker 2: has taught me. One is she sets a timer on
- 9:43Speaker 2: her phone so she cannot get into certain apps after
- 9:46Speaker 2: a certain point in time during the day. And it
- 9:49Speaker 2: also is an app is a setup that she has
- 9:52Speaker 2: where she spent more than a few hours or an
- 9:55Speaker 2: hour I think on an app it no longer allows
- 9:59Speaker 2: her to get in that day, and so she's said
- 10:01Speaker 2: that late. Yeah. And then also for me, and she
- 10:05Speaker 2: taught me this, it is and it's a great habit.
- 10:08Speaker 2: When I wake up in the morning, I don't like
- 10:11Speaker 2: check social media or get on social media until after
- 10:16Speaker 2: like my breakfast and coffee and workout. It's not a
- 10:18Speaker 2: thing that I look at until probably nine thirty nine
- 10:21Speaker 2: o'clock in the morning, so I'm not starting my day
- 10:24Speaker 2: with it. Actually, just a quick note for anybody listening
- 10:27Speaker 2: struggling like Tia is, and we feel for her because
- 10:29Speaker 2: it is a thing that so many are struggling with.
- 10:32Speaker 2: This last week, I was able to be in Maine
- 10:36Speaker 2: speaking at an event, an HR event for sure, and
- 10:41Speaker 2: very interesting discussion popped up while I was there about
- 10:45Speaker 2: the difference between you know, anxiety is such a thing
- 10:49Speaker 2: that people are struggling with right now, the anxiety and
- 10:52Speaker 2: depression and feeling disconnected, and very interesting conversation about where
- 10:58Speaker 2: the thing we're not discussing with, and that is the
- 11:00Speaker 2: envy of that is sometimes we're calling it anxiety and
- 11:03Speaker 2: we're actually struggling with envy, which is, you know, you
- 11:06Speaker 2: confront envy and you treat envy, and you kind of
- 11:10Speaker 2: handle envy in such a different way than you would
- 11:12Speaker 2: maybe anxiety, because you know, with anxiety, you you know
- 11:17Speaker 2: kind of need to decompress, You need to understand where
- 11:19Speaker 2: your thoughts are at. You also need something uplifting maybe
- 11:23Speaker 2: in your life to kind of help, you know, show
- 11:26Speaker 2: you the truth of where you're at with envy. That
- 11:29Speaker 2: chase of getting something uplifting oftentimes leads to you seeing
- 11:33Speaker 2: more stuff that will make you feel down and kind
- 11:36Speaker 2: of make you feel like you're not doing enough. So
- 11:38Speaker 2: just an interesting thing if you're out there and you're
- 11:40Speaker 2: feeling disconnected and you're struggling. You know, envy is a
- 11:44Speaker 2: very or anxiety is a very real thing. But also
- 11:46Speaker 2: maybe ask yourself if you're struggling with envy and I
- 11:50Speaker 2: know I struggle with it a lot, uh, and what
- 11:53Speaker 2: you do in those situations and how you should confront
- 11:56Speaker 2: if you are struggling with envy.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Tia was also talking about how she gets basically dopamine
- 12:01Speaker 3: hits by the reactions that she gets on social media,
- 12:05Speaker 3: and I totally can relate.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Yeah, Raven Gates gets emotional about figuring out new body
- 12:13Speaker 2: postpartum and celebrates new moms for Mother's Day.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Well, Raven was so sweet. She was on Instagram and
- 12:22Speaker 3: she was in a store and she well, she wasn't
- 12:26Speaker 3: on an Instagram store. She was in the store and
- 12:28Speaker 3: she got in her car and she explained how this
- 12:30Speaker 3: whole story went down. She saw a mom who was
- 12:34Speaker 3: like struggling with you know, a baby, not struggling, but
- 12:37Speaker 3: you know, like shopping with a baby, and that's an
- 12:40Speaker 3: adjustment in general, and she just said that there was
- 12:44Speaker 3: something about watching this mom that really struck a chord,
- 12:49Speaker 3: and she was just thinking about the multitasking that comes
- 12:51Speaker 3: up being a mom and the fact that like, you know,
- 12:54Speaker 3: this mom is trying on clothes for the first time
- 12:56Speaker 3: with her new body, and she just felt for her.
- 13:02Speaker 3: It wasn't like there was like not like a real
- 13:04Speaker 3: story to it. She just kind of got on Instagram
- 13:08Speaker 3: and was like, you know, I saw this mom and
- 13:10Speaker 3: like I could relate to her, and I just had
- 13:12Speaker 3: a lot of emotion for her. And I was thinking
- 13:16Speaker 3: about all the moms out there that are in similar
- 13:20Speaker 3: places because it's just such an adjustment period. So just
- 13:23Speaker 3: saying like I see you. And then she also posted
- 13:27Speaker 3: a poll about like whether moms feel lonely, and the
- 13:35Speaker 3: majority of moms do feel lonely, So.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Do you relate with that? Do you feel lonely as.
- 13:39Speaker 3: We totally totally. Yeah, it's different. It's when you're home
- 13:43Speaker 3: alone and you're not a mom, you like figure out
- 13:47Speaker 3: things to do, right, You're like, oh, I have to
- 13:49Speaker 3: do this, I have to do that, and then like
- 13:51Speaker 3: you're like, I'm gonna watch TV, I'm gonna zone out,
- 13:53Speaker 3: good do things for myself. But when you're home alone
- 13:56Speaker 3: as a mom, it just has a different feel and
- 14:01Speaker 3: I cannot put it into words why, but that's when
- 14:04Speaker 3: you feel most lonely. And then sometimes you're overly careful
- 14:08Speaker 3: even talking to like the other people in your lives
- 14:10Speaker 3: that are moms, because then you get a little bit
- 14:13Speaker 3: wrapped up in the comparison where you're like, oh, if
- 14:16Speaker 3: your kid's doing that and my kid's not doing that,
- 14:18Speaker 3: or it's like can you relate to this thing that
- 14:20Speaker 3: I'm going through or you cannot, and there's a little
- 14:22Speaker 3: insecurity around it. So sometimes and then you also like
- 14:27Speaker 3: how are insecure? Because you're like, wait, shit, can I
- 14:30Speaker 3: talk about anything other than being a mom anymore? Or
- 14:33Speaker 3: is it that when I'm with other moms, I just
- 14:35Speaker 3: feel like the need to invent about being a mom
- 14:37Speaker 3: because they understand.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Catherine Lowe reveals biggest pet peeve about Sean Lowe
- 14:43Speaker 2: and his quote is she secretly hates me.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Okay, this was hilarious. They did the most epic Instagram
- 14:51Speaker 3: reel in which they pretend like they're eating cereal together
- 14:55Speaker 3: at the counter, like one year into their relationship and
- 14:58Speaker 3: then ten years into the relationship. In the first year
- 15:01Speaker 3: she's like, oh, I didn't realize that you choose that lad,
- 15:04Speaker 3: and then ten years later it's like, I'm going to
- 15:07Speaker 3: stab you with that spoon. It is one of my
- 15:12Speaker 3: biggest pet peeves with Jared. I think it's just like
- 15:16Speaker 3: a woman, there's a thing for it, you know, hating
- 15:19Speaker 3: the sound of chewing. Caitlin Burstow has this thing I
- 15:22Speaker 3: don't can't call it a fear. It's just a elevated
- 15:26Speaker 3: annoyance and it's, uh, it's a real thing, and it's
- 15:31Speaker 3: it's a turn off, and it's led to a lot
- 15:35Speaker 3: of the times with me being like can you just
- 15:36Speaker 3: please turn up the TV? Or I should just get
- 15:40Speaker 3: out of this room. It's really not that big of
- 15:43Speaker 3: a deal, but it is. It is a big deal
- 15:46Speaker 3: because it's so annoying.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I love it.
- 15:49Speaker 3: My mom has the same thing with my dad. Do
- 15:52Speaker 3: you do you have a similar situation in your life?
- 15:57Speaker 2: No, not yet. I mean I think Jess.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Has never said you're chewing too loud?
- 16:02Speaker 2: No, breathing heavy?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yes, chewing too Oh okay similar?
- 16:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we here's the deal though. We travel so much.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I'm gone so much that I think when I am here,
- 16:12Speaker 2: she doesn't care what I'm doing as long as i'm home.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Oh well, that's sweet.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we're still in that phase. Uh, that's our producer
- 16:20Speaker 2: just said this.
- 16:20Speaker 3: It's called miss miss so Fiana, Miss sophie Fiana, miss
- 16:27Speaker 3: so fauna what miss aphonia? Okay, So you're triggered by sounds,
- 16:36Speaker 3: typically or originating in the facial activity area. Most famously,
- 16:41Speaker 3: the sound of chewing mathsnia can be experienced so severely
- 16:46Speaker 3: that it can affect relationships and prevent suffers from engaging
- 16:50Speaker 3: in social situations. I'm not there, and it's like it's
- 16:53Speaker 3: the fury caused by the sound.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Okay, you guys are gonna make me insecure anytime we
- 16:59Speaker 2: hang out.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Now.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Hey, that's all the headlines we have for you today.
- 17:04Speaker 2: We'll be back obviously next week. With so much talking
- 17:08Speaker 2: about the Golden Bachelorette this upcoming Bachelorette season, we'll have
- 17:13Speaker 2: more interviews coming out. Also, stay tuned for Almost Good Advice.
- 17:18Speaker 2: A really great episode is coming. We got some great
- 17:20Speaker 2: questions from you all, So until next time, I've Been Ben,
