- 0:08Speaker 1: But I invited you here, thought I made myself perfectly clear.
- 0:17Speaker 2: When you're a guest to my home.
- 0:21Speaker 1: You gotta come to me empty. And I said, no, guests,
- 0:27Speaker 1: your own presences presents enough. I already had too much stuff.
- 0:35Speaker 1: So how did you dare to surbey me?
- 0:49Speaker 2: Welcome to Why I said no gifts? Why did I
- 0:57Speaker 2: go so long? That's fine, I can do that. You know,
- 1:01Speaker 2: occasionally you have to build up suspense, and that's what
- 1:04Speaker 2: that was the big attempt on my part. I'm trying
- 1:06Speaker 2: to make this a more tense show, make it more thrilling,
- 1:09Speaker 2: have your heart pounding throughout. So I hope that set
- 1:12Speaker 2: you off, and now you're in a bad mood the
- 1:14Speaker 2: rest of the time. Ah, I'm Bridger Winecker. This is
- 1:19Speaker 2: I said, no gifts, we're here. What's going on? You know?
- 1:24Speaker 2: I was just absolutely boiling over with anxiety all morning,
- 1:27Speaker 2: and so I got myself a coffee and we'll see
- 1:29Speaker 2: where this leads. Yeah, what's happening. I'm still watching Little
- 1:35Speaker 2: House on the Prairie. We're watching that in my home.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I've got a big episode to recommend. It's called The Raccoon.
- 1:41Speaker 2: If I cannot recommend an episode of television more than
- 1:46Speaker 2: The Raccoon on Little House on Prairie. If you want
- 1:49Speaker 2: an hour of television where you the entire time are
- 1:51Speaker 2: afraid a little girls can get her face ripped off,
- 1:55Speaker 2: this is the episode of TV for you. You've got
- 1:57Speaker 2: to see this thing. You don't have to watch the
- 1:59Speaker 2: rest of it. I recommend it. I'm having a great time,
- 2:01Speaker 2: but this thing unlike any piece of recorded media I
- 2:05Speaker 2: have ever seen. The work that the raccoon is doing,
- 2:09Speaker 2: the danger that every living being is in on this
- 2:13Speaker 2: episode is It's unlike anything I've ever seen or experience.
- 2:16Speaker 2: So get into it. What else is going on Summer
- 2:20Speaker 2: By the time this is released, I think summer will
- 2:22Speaker 2: basically be here June. Summer's happening. School's out. What happens
- 2:28Speaker 2: in the summer. We're going to the beach, We're roller skating.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'll be come September, I'll be in the eighth grade.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So there's that. Patreon is still happening. We always have
- 2:41Speaker 2: to remind you Patreon go to patreon dot com. Slash
- 2:44Speaker 2: I said, no gifts. We're recording exclusive episodes in the backyard.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We're having the time of our life. We're also doing
- 2:52Speaker 2: bonus episodes weekly where I recap Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,
- 2:57Speaker 2: which is potentially the most important podcast currently on the internet.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I may have posted a picture without a shirt on
- 3:05Speaker 2: you know, there's all sorts of erotic things happening on
- 3:09Speaker 2: the Patreon not really, don't get your hoax up, but
- 3:13Speaker 2: go over there. Support the podcast, do what you will.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Thank you to everyone that's already doing it. And if
- 3:18Speaker 2: you haven't already done it, I'll look the other way. Okay,
- 3:23Speaker 2: is there anything else I'm looking at my business that
- 3:25Speaker 2: I need to talk about. I tried listening to a
- 3:27Speaker 2: sleeping podcast last night when I woke up at two am.
- 3:29Speaker 2: It was too engaging. Yeah, it was too coherent. I
- 3:34Speaker 2: was able to just follow along. And that's not a
- 3:36Speaker 2: good sleeping podcast because then I just am listening. I
- 3:39Speaker 2: won't even mention what it was called. I don't want
- 3:41Speaker 2: to give them any business. Oh is there anything No,
- 3:46Speaker 2: I've gone on too long. We have to get into
- 3:49Speaker 2: the episode. I adore today's guest. Everyone adores today's guest.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It's Angela Giritana. Angela.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I'm obsessed with you. I've been holding my tongue over here.
- 3:57Speaker 3: What's the raccoon? Oh?
- 4:00Speaker 2: My god, have you ever seen any Little House on
- 4:02Speaker 2: the Prairie?
- 4:02Speaker 4: Okay, I used to, And I honestly can't believe you're
- 4:05Speaker 4: rewatching it because I saw that there's a reboot.
- 4:06Speaker 2: There's a new one. And I not to brag, I
- 4:08Speaker 2: started watching it before I knew there was a reboot.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It just kind of just, you know, something spoke to me.
- 4:15Speaker 2: A quiet voice came to me and said, the reboot's coming.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Get ready before the reboot ruins the franchise. Yes, you
- 4:22Speaker 2: get into it. So I've now watched probably.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Twelve episodes and The Raccoon.
- 4:27Speaker 2: The Raccoon episode it is called the Raccoon, and it
- 4:30Speaker 2: starts with Laura Angeles Wilder her, uh is that the name?
- 4:35Speaker 2: Oh god, now I'm a fraud.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Her origin of the raccoon's name racoon Jasper? Is it
- 4:43Speaker 3: a pet?
- 4:44Speaker 2: It becomes a pet, and then it becomes I don't
- 4:46Speaker 2: want to give away too much.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Just watch it.
- 4:49Speaker 2: There may be some betrayal, there may be some heartbreak,
- 4:53Speaker 2: there may be rabies, and there might also be a
- 4:58Speaker 2: big surprise. There's it's got it all and this is
- 5:01Speaker 2: all happening in the early seventies, and the Raccoon is
- 5:04Speaker 2: let's be very clear, a real raccoon the entire time
- 5:07Speaker 2: shut up, and the little girl is holding it close
- 5:11Speaker 2: to her face. They've got the raccoon chasing chickens, They've
- 5:14Speaker 2: got the raccoon fighting with a dog.
- 5:16Speaker 3: How'd they get all that?
- 5:18Speaker 2: They just threw the raccoon in front of all of
- 5:20Speaker 2: these things and said, go for it. I guess, but
- 5:22Speaker 2: I think it's like a partially trained raccoon must have been.
- 5:26Speaker 2: But it's also well, maybe they're using so many raccoons.
- 5:29Speaker 2: This This is where I'm always a rube, where I'm like, well,
- 5:32Speaker 2: that certainly is just one raccoon.
- 5:33Speaker 3: There's like three on standby.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, of course, and one of them I think is
- 5:36Speaker 2: a wild raccoon, because how else do you get to
- 5:38Speaker 2: chase to chase the chickens.
- 5:40Speaker 3: One hundred percent, you need one that's like.
- 5:41Speaker 2: A like that's ready to kill a chicken.
- 5:43Speaker 3: And that can't be the one that baby the kids holding.
- 5:45Speaker 2: No, because then it would have ripped the kid's face off.
- 5:47Speaker 3: We need behind the scenes.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Oh, I would love nothing more than behind the scenes
- 5:52Speaker 2: of the raccoon.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Well, that's a sneeze. I think it's because we're talking
- 5:54Speaker 3: about a raccoon.
- 5:55Speaker 2: You're allergic that.
- 6:01Speaker 4: You know it's gone because I brought attention to him.
- 6:04Speaker 2: But it's a must must must see. Uh, the rest
- 6:07Speaker 2: of the series also, I must see, But this one
- 6:11Speaker 2: is a good starting point.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Are they each like Little Bottle Neck episode?
- 6:15Speaker 2: There? There? Everything's pretty individual. They don't really flow into
- 6:19Speaker 2: each other as much. You know, you learn of new
- 6:22Speaker 2: characters as each Epichoes episode goes by, and those characters
- 6:25Speaker 2: will show up. Yeah, but there's one character in particular
- 6:29Speaker 2: named Nelly Olsen, who's the little girl. Look the rich girl.
- 6:33Speaker 3: He ring, Oh, the little rich girl.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's an outstanding character, and I can't imagine
- 6:40Speaker 2: they're gonna nail her with the reboot. It's a big
- 6:43Speaker 2: challenge and they're not going to do the raccoon. There's
- 6:45Speaker 2: no way they're bringing a real raccoon into the new series.
- 6:48Speaker 2: It'll be a CGI raccoon.
- 6:50Speaker 3: It'll be an AI ra that sucks. That sucks.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Machine learning brings raccoon into Netflix. Yeah, So we'll see
- 7:03Speaker 2: how the news then maybe it'll be great.
- 7:06Speaker 3: You know, I can't wait.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on with you.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I I first of all, the Sleeping podcast, I've been
- 7:12Speaker 4: thinking about trying to get into those because I need
- 7:14Speaker 4: sound on when I sleep.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Do you need do you need something?
- 7:17Speaker 2: I don't?
- 7:18Speaker 3: Usually you're one of those good ones.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I'm one of the good ones. I'm one of the angels,
- 7:22Speaker 2: one of the.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Angels that like your mom like probably like I don't know,
- 7:25Speaker 4: like whoever puts you to bed, like let you sit
- 7:27Speaker 4: in the silence. I had shit blasting like what anything.
- 7:32Speaker 4: It was like all like white noise growing up like
- 7:36Speaker 4: or just like anything. I don't know why, but my
- 7:37Speaker 4: mom was like it can't be.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Quiet, say yeah her sleep.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Yeah, or maybe she just was watching TV.
- 7:44Speaker 4: So me and my brother, but it was like we
- 7:46Speaker 4: were never going to bed without the TV.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Oh that sounds incredible.
- 7:51Speaker 3: I know, but it me now like I cannot.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Go to sleep, So what are you putting on now?
- 7:56Speaker 3: So here's the thing is I've been okay.
- 7:59Speaker 4: So here's the bridger is if it's too if it's
- 8:03Speaker 4: too exciting, it's not happening, of course, But then if
- 8:07Speaker 4: I watch, like I have to watch something I just watched.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Oh interesting, like within the last day.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Almost like I was going to like I was doing
- 8:18Speaker 4: like Sex in the City episodes, but these are still
- 8:20Speaker 4: like literally fall asleep talk listen to her talk or
- 8:23Speaker 4: like Seinfeld. But then I was still like, oh, I
- 8:26Speaker 4: don't actually want to see what happens. Yeah, of course
- 8:28Speaker 4: I want to see if they find their car in
- 8:30Speaker 4: the parking. And then like it wasn't working. So now
- 8:33Speaker 4: I'm like dark documentaries is what puts me to sleep,
- 8:38Speaker 4: such as like the Karen Reid doc that's on that's
- 8:42Speaker 4: happening right now about her retrial.
- 8:43Speaker 2: It's just Karen Reid.
- 8:46Speaker 4: She's being framed for the murder of a police officer.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Oh, Karen, and I'm going to sleep to that.
- 8:53Speaker 4: I don't know what it is, but it needs to
- 8:55Speaker 4: be like, it can't be comedy. It has to be
- 8:58Speaker 4: like dark, like a dark Kate Winslet drama. Oh sure, sure,
- 9:02Speaker 4: I'm right to sleep.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I mean, what's the Pennsylvania one? She she's Mayvistown.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's a lullabytom Me literally a woman smoking
- 9:14Speaker 4: like monotone, being like I've had this case for fifteen years.
- 9:18Speaker 2: You can smell the stale coffee. And did you finish
- 9:22Speaker 2: that series?
- 9:24Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 9:25Speaker 2: I loved it until we found out what who the
- 9:27Speaker 2: murder Frome was. It was like the teen Bowl was
- 9:30Speaker 2: the teen boy. I mean, we really gave that away.
- 9:32Speaker 2: So my apologize to everybody.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Major spoiler for an old HBO Max shew Mayrave's down.
- 9:38Speaker 2: You should have seen it. It was excellent. She was great.
- 9:42Speaker 4: I forgot that. You thought at the end, you're like,
- 9:44Speaker 4: finally we learned who the murder was, and then was
- 9:46Speaker 4: like no.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Actually yeah, it was like this whole thing was like,
- 9:50Speaker 2: oh it's him. Oh no, it's him covering up for him.
- 9:52Speaker 2: For a minute, it was just like, okay.
- 9:54Speaker 3: All right, guys, we're done. Call it.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Don't drag me through the teen boys drama.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I don't want to go to this school. Well, now
- 10:02Speaker 3: I feel bad.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I just wanted it to be a villainous adult.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I just wanted to be a stupid white man.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Send him to the chair, yes, by.
- 10:11Speaker 4: And now we're like looking at this kid playing basketball
- 10:13Speaker 4: and you're like, he's misunderstood.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yes, he wasn't raised properly. He was raised in an
- 10:18Speaker 2: atmosphere that led to this horrible consequence. And now we
- 10:21Speaker 2: all have to look at ourselves.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Yes, and now I have to put my phone down. Yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 4: because maybe it was tech.
- 10:29Speaker 3: That ruined this.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It probably was tech. Did you watch the other show,
- 10:32Speaker 2: the new thing on Netflix. Ah, the one take, one
- 10:35Speaker 2: take Wonder. That's the show.
- 10:40Speaker 3: It's a one take Wonder adolescent.
- 10:43Speaker 4: I like one shots when it's like Broadway and they're like,
- 10:46Speaker 4: like how it's it's like follow Jimmy Fallon through the
- 10:49Speaker 4: dressing room.
- 10:50Speaker 3: This not that.
- 10:51Speaker 2: No, no, no, no no, it's suffocating. Yeah. I wasn't able
- 10:55Speaker 2: to finish it because you know, I was impressed. I thought, Wow,
- 10:59Speaker 2: the drama whatever, bah blah blah. I'm just too impressive
- 11:01Speaker 2: as dazzled. I'm sitting there watching this. I'm dazzled. I
- 11:05Speaker 2: don't think that's a feeling you watched it off.
- 11:07Speaker 3: I'm too dazzled.
- 11:09Speaker 2: This is way too glamorous. No, it became very depressing.
- 11:14Speaker 2: And also it's weird when they're doing these. First of all,
- 11:18Speaker 2: I'm not impressed. I'm not that impressed at this point
- 11:21Speaker 2: in time, or I don't care. I truly don't care
- 11:25Speaker 2: about the one shot, the one take. We have too
- 11:29Speaker 2: much technology to make it easy, first of all. Second
- 11:32Speaker 2: of all, I'm annoyed on the behalf of everyone having
- 11:35Speaker 2: to do it.
- 11:36Speaker 3: You're so right, like, I'm not going to be impressed
- 11:38Speaker 3: by the drone.
- 11:38Speaker 4: That's flying over cares. I want to be impressed by
- 11:41Speaker 4: the human body.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yes, show me more of the human body.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I want someone to like hold a camera like you know,
- 11:47Speaker 4: like shots of like a cameraman like running on their
- 11:51Speaker 4: body and they're like that's.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Stuff all, like which is happening? I guess during this
- 11:55Speaker 2: thing because there's one guy, but it's I'm just annoyed
- 11:58Speaker 2: on the behalf of everyone. It's like there was too
- 12:01Speaker 2: much planning. Is it worth it? Is it worth it?
- 12:06Speaker 3: It's you're right. I like it if it's like people
- 12:10Speaker 3: dancing in feathers.
- 12:11Speaker 4: There we go moment like like like like how.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Theatrical this is?
- 12:16Speaker 4: It's happening one time, but like a sad detective being like.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Who cares truly unless somebody's dancing, unless there's a full
- 12:26Speaker 2: choreograph number, just let's do several different takes.
- 12:30Speaker 4: We had like a choreograph like earthquake, drill, come on,
- 12:35Speaker 4: And that was the closest we got to an ensemble
- 12:37Speaker 4: was the kids.
- 12:37Speaker 2: No, cut to a different shot, cut to a different shot.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I don't I don't know. I don't need the long take.
- 12:42Speaker 2: I don't need the stress of being like, well, what
- 12:44Speaker 2: if they don't nail their line.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Honestly, it's like, just cut, I won't even notice.
- 12:50Speaker 2: No one cares. It's for the buzz.
- 12:55Speaker 3: For that one Instagram realized all and they.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Go, this is how we did it. Okay, well that
- 13:01Speaker 2: was good?
- 13:02Speaker 3: The show is it?
- 13:04Speaker 2: The show stinks?
- 13:06Speaker 3: I'll watch the BTS. I'll watch the Citicam guy'd be like,
- 13:09Speaker 3: I need a water.
- 13:11Speaker 2: This is a You should never be more interested in
- 13:13Speaker 2: the BTS. Boom, there we go. I think we've really
- 13:17Speaker 2: boiled this down.
- 13:17Speaker 4: You're ever making something and you're like, is it more
- 13:19Speaker 4: interesting to see how I made.
- 13:20Speaker 2: This than depends on you have failed? Go back to
- 13:23Speaker 2: the drawing board and make the show more interesting. I'm sorry,
- 13:28Speaker 2: I'll say it. I've said it before, I'll say it again.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Can people if you didn't finish it, well, you.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Know, you find out kind of it's just like, oh, right,
- 13:35Speaker 2: is things are horrible?
- 13:37Speaker 3: Even if something's bad, I gotta finish it, you do.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I've this is in the last few years. I
- 13:42Speaker 2: finally just said to myself, you don't have to. You're
- 13:45Speaker 2: halfway through that book and you you've hated every moment
- 13:47Speaker 2: of it. Powerful stop just stop, what are you going
- 13:50Speaker 2: to get.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Because it's always I think it's especially when I'm taking
- 13:54Speaker 4: some type of media that's got a lot of buzz.
- 13:56Speaker 4: I'm like, I have to stay because it's some fucking moment.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I'm gonna go now, I get.
- 14:01Speaker 2: The bus right right, and then you'll be part of
- 14:03Speaker 2: the conversation. Yeah, and you'll be able to speak to it,
- 14:07Speaker 2: whereas I just have to kind of step back and say,
- 14:10Speaker 2: everybody else, everybody else, have your fun. Ye oh, once
- 14:15Speaker 2: again I'm on the outside looking in.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Well, you know what, I'm actually full you guys, you guys,
- 14:19Speaker 3: dig in.
- 14:23Speaker 2: What's the worst thing you've watched or consumed? All the
- 14:27Speaker 2: way through? Describing like that won't get you in trouble.
- 14:30Speaker 4: No, one hundred percent. Let me think, Well, I like
- 14:33Speaker 4: watching bad TV. Sure, Like I like I'm a reality TV.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Oh right, of course.
- 14:40Speaker 4: And I don't know if that's a response because TV's
- 14:42Speaker 4: gotten too good, right right, But I actually don't want
- 14:45Speaker 4: a lot of twists and turns. I want to watch
- 14:46Speaker 4: like menopausal women yell that actually is like heavy?
- 14:50Speaker 2: Oh that feels great? Are you kidding me?
- 14:52Speaker 4: Like for some reason, I don't know what happened, but
- 14:54Speaker 4: like I was like, I actually don't want to watch
- 14:55Speaker 4: comedy anymore.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Oh, I want to watch like real shit.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yes, yes, even.
- 15:01Speaker 4: If it's like like the vander Pump Cast just getting drunk.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Like I don't know why it makes me feel sad
- 15:06Speaker 4: because I like, I'm a comedian and I love comedy.
- 15:09Speaker 3: That's okay, but I don't want to watch something that's.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Like, Wow, that was the best joke, Wow, what a
- 15:15Speaker 4: what a series, what a cast?
- 15:17Speaker 3: I actually that now makes me go, I don't know
- 15:20Speaker 3: why it's actually so sad.
- 15:22Speaker 2: No, I think that that's a common thing among people
- 15:25Speaker 2: in comedy. You kind of are just like, I think
- 15:26Speaker 2: you're ruined it for yourself, and then I think at
- 15:29Speaker 2: some point you know too much and you've experienced too
- 15:33Speaker 2: much of it where you like it's like, uh, it's
- 15:36Speaker 2: a tolerance.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Yeah, or in my case, I don't know too much.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Just is like watching so it's like, Wow, it's a
- 15:42Speaker 4: lot of magic. Wow, they're amazing, And I honestly, I
- 15:46Speaker 4: actually like it's so exciting to watch someone be funny
- 15:49Speaker 4: when they don't know it, Like all these women and
- 15:51Speaker 4: they have no.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Fucking some of the funniest people alive on these reality shows.
- 15:55Speaker 4: And they're just it's like a cheetah out of the cage.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Just let it run and it's crazy. Yes, I'll watch
- 16:02Speaker 4: that forever.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Is vander Pump your favorite?
- 16:06Speaker 3: No, I'd say Real Housewives of York New.
- 16:08Speaker 2: York canceled, canceled, say goodbye.
- 16:10Speaker 3: It's because they it's well, I've canceled Seinfeld too.
- 16:13Speaker 4: If we took away Jerry and Elaane and we brought
- 16:16Speaker 4: in I don't fucking know.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Some other ladies, not.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Even not even who are the Jerry and Elane of
- 16:25Speaker 2: U N y C. I mean Bethany okay, okay, of course.
- 16:30Speaker 3: To watch her forever. And Sonya Morgan.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know, Sonya Morgan.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Oh my god, get ready, I'm gonna send you Sony
- 16:36Speaker 4: stupid videos please. Just a woman, just you know, just
- 16:40Speaker 4: a woman in madness, spind out.
- 16:43Speaker 2: What So did they just go their own way or yeah?
- 16:46Speaker 3: I think I mean at some point they get bigger
- 16:48Speaker 3: than the show.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Of course, right, yeah, and then they are focus.
- 16:51Speaker 4: My theory is they all get the same lawyer, so
- 16:53Speaker 4: that they all know what's on each other's contract.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Oh right, the one most unprofessional lawyer possible. It's not
- 16:59Speaker 2: keeping anything to.
- 16:59Speaker 3: A Yes, it's like I Snapchad you pictures of it.
- 17:03Speaker 3: We have no paper trail. That's what I think.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Happened with the Jersey shortcast because I also love Jersey.
- 17:08Speaker 3: That's a bad show that Jersey.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Sure did they try to reboot it?
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yeah, they're currently still in their reboot face.
- 17:16Speaker 2: And they're airing the reboot Yeah. And the original cast yeah.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Oh that's kind.
- 17:21Speaker 3: And they're like married and sober and interesting.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Any the opposite of what that show is a library.
- 17:27Speaker 4: I know, they're like, look, Ronnie, he's got his whole
- 17:29Speaker 4: life together, his wife. It's like, no, I want to
- 17:33Speaker 4: see Ronnie like get wasted and like down a cinnamon
- 17:35Speaker 4: roll in one bite.
- 17:36Speaker 2: I want to be everyone to be on the edge
- 17:38Speaker 2: of death, yes, just like someone could die.
- 17:40Speaker 3: On camera in the early two thousands.
- 17:42Speaker 2: In the early two thousands.
- 17:44Speaker 3: That's a period.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Yes, so I'd say that, sorry to be long wounded.
- 17:49Speaker 4: I'm drinking way too much coffee. I also had an
- 17:50Speaker 4: anxious morning and drinking a lot of Oh god.
- 17:53Speaker 2: You're we're all just spiraling here, spinning out in the
- 17:56Speaker 2: biggest possible way.
- 17:57Speaker 3: And why does anxiety make you tired? So then you
- 17:59Speaker 3: want coffee? Yeah, makes you even worse.
- 18:02Speaker 2: It's a very poisonous cycle. I don't I don't know
- 18:07Speaker 2: what I'm supposed to do.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Right, Am I supposed to sleep? Well, I can't.
- 18:10Speaker 2: No, I'm not going to sleep. I'm gonna try to
- 18:12Speaker 2: listen to a sleep podcast. It was about the history
- 18:15Speaker 2: of time. I'll say that.
- 18:16Speaker 3: It was the history.
- 18:17Speaker 2: That's an interesting thing.
- 18:20Speaker 3: I'm going to sleep already. Let me hear about it.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Just the history of what clocks everything we're starting? Uh,
- 18:27Speaker 2: you know Stonehenge? Oh, oh God, don't look at me.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Look me in the eye and tell me you don't
- 18:35Speaker 2: want to learn about Stonehenge and early sun dials.
- 18:40Speaker 4: See, that makes me bored in a way that's not tired.
- 18:43Speaker 4: I'm just bored and mad.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Yeah. If I'm angry and I'm thinking about leaving a
- 18:49Speaker 2: bad review, I'm writing a review in my head. I'm
- 18:52Speaker 2: not going to sleep.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Now.
- 18:53Speaker 3: You're in a creative space, Yeah, I'm.
- 18:54Speaker 2: In deeply creative space. I'm brainstorming. I'm riding down. You know,
- 19:00Speaker 2: these little thoughts here and there.
- 19:02Speaker 4: You're like, I would already too interesting.
- 19:04Speaker 2: So stone Hedge, Wow, Yeah, it's uh, you know they
- 19:08Speaker 2: have stone Hinge stone of a new nursery like a
- 19:13Speaker 2: local nursery Stonehead. I'm opening a plant store near stone
- 19:19Speaker 2: Henge called stone Hedge or that could be a hedge maze.
- 19:23Speaker 4: I always thought it was Hedge.
- 19:26Speaker 2: No, I'm second guessing myself, but I'm pretty sure stowed Henge, stowed.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Hedge, Okay, a fun, fun bar, stud.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Stud Hedge. And now we're so far removed from the
- 19:41Speaker 2: name they do they know what Stonehenge is. Stowed Henge.
- 19:49Speaker 2: That's like a luggage store or something, or or a
- 19:54Speaker 2: storage facility. Oh yeah, stowed Hedge.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Yeah, now I'm going too far.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Um No, stone Hedge, Stonehenge, cheesez.
- 20:09Speaker 3: You're yeah, we're kind about different.
- 20:11Speaker 2: And I only got as far as early Egypt and
- 20:14Speaker 2: their sun dials and.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Was the voice sleepy.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Kind of no more than you know, what have you
- 20:23Speaker 2: ever heard in our time? That podcast? Yes, that level
- 20:26Speaker 2: of sleep okay, but I could probably fall asleep to
- 20:29Speaker 2: in our time better because they get into topics that
- 20:32Speaker 2: become probably above my reading comprehension.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Yes, and you're like, now I'm just barely hanging on.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I can barely understand what we're talking about. And
- 20:40Speaker 2: it's like six British people with quiet, polite voice.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:44Speaker 3: You want to, like, chase your tail till you get tired.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, Like what are they talking about? Yes, that's
- 20:48Speaker 2: what I need. I don't need elementary level history on
- 20:52Speaker 2: time because I can keep up.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Leave me in the dust, next one shot, next.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Well, I don't want to keep talking about that because
- 21:05Speaker 2: I don't want to give them any more press. No,
- 21:07Speaker 2: I would give in our time more press. I think
- 21:09Speaker 2: that's a good podcast. But there's something else I need
- 21:12Speaker 2: to talk to you about. Yeah, sure need. I don't
- 21:15Speaker 2: want obviously, the last thing I want to do is
- 21:19Speaker 2: talk about this or bring it up. But I feel
- 21:22Speaker 2: like it's unavoidable at this point. I was excited to
- 21:25Speaker 2: have you here on the podcast.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I was so excited.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I thought, Angela is wonderful. How could anything possibly go wrong? Yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 2: it's going to be a perfect, perfect record. And then
- 21:36Speaker 2: I'll move on with my day. Angela will move on
- 21:38Speaker 2: with her day. No bad feelings. Ah, So I was
- 21:43Speaker 2: a little surprised you look. I look at you as
- 21:46Speaker 2: a professional. I assume you kind of know how the
- 21:50Speaker 2: industry works. You show up and do your job, and
- 21:54Speaker 2: I do consider you being here a job.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, and you do what you're talking.
- 21:58Speaker 2: The podcast is called I said, no gift. I think
- 22:01Speaker 2: you're I would hope you know the title of the
- 22:05Speaker 2: podcast you're coming to. I'm sure you've got emails, messages,
- 22:11Speaker 2: so it's a little surprised when I heard you screech
- 22:14Speaker 2: into the parking lot and I looked out the window
- 22:17Speaker 2: and I saw you kind of trotting into the studio
- 22:20Speaker 2: holding a what could not more clearly be a gift bag,
- 22:27Speaker 2: this beautiful kind of brown paper bag. The podcast is
- 22:33Speaker 2: called I said, no gifts. Sure, is this a gift
- 22:36Speaker 2: for me?
- 22:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 22:40Speaker 2: I like a quiet confidence.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a gift for you.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Bridger. Okay, Well, I don't know what to say. Should
- 22:48Speaker 2: I open it here on the podcast? Should I save
- 22:51Speaker 2: it for later? No?
- 22:52Speaker 4: I think you should open it now.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I listen.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I'm Italian. I can't show up somewhere without something to
- 22:57Speaker 4: give you people.
- 23:01Speaker 3: It just feels wrong for me to not have something
- 23:03Speaker 3: in my hand.
- 23:05Speaker 2: And I can say you people because I'm in a
- 23:07Speaker 2: relationship with an Italian. I have a free pass.
- 23:10Speaker 3: You do you have you have a single path? Yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 3: you could do that.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I do it all the time at home. Why can't
- 23:16Speaker 2: I bring it to the office doing it well? Should
- 23:21Speaker 2: I open it here? Yeah, I think okay, let's reach
- 23:27Speaker 2: into the have to reach in.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Yes, that out Bridger. I'm so sorry, but it's blocking
- 23:32Speaker 3: your face.
- 23:33Speaker 2: That's okay. I'm in control here. I'm allowing this to
- 23:36Speaker 2: block my face for a minute. My face can be blocked.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Sometimes people are like, thank god, his face is being blocked.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I can finally look right at the video rather the coding.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Where he blocked his face, so you can watch it.
- 23:47Speaker 2: We're leaving all of this in listener. If you're just
- 23:50Speaker 2: listening now, you can tune in because there's a moment
- 23:52Speaker 2: where you don't have to look at my face. Viewer,
- 23:56Speaker 2: you're welcome that you don't have to look at my
- 23:58Speaker 2: face for a minute. But now we're gonna pull us out.
- 24:03Speaker 4: What I painted that you painted this?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Why? Why am I? I'm not acting that surprised, of course.
- 24:10Speaker 4: How can you find the human brushstroke? And that it
- 24:15Speaker 4: looks like it's it's always.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Busy, looks like you printed ko, this is gorgeous.
- 24:22Speaker 4: I paint a lot, okay, and my paintings never see
- 24:25Speaker 4: the light of day.
- 24:25Speaker 2: How often are you painting a lot? Listener? If you're
- 24:29Speaker 2: not watching, it's a painting of a kind of an
- 24:32Speaker 2: orange little person in a pink boot, blue pant and
- 24:35Speaker 2: pink shirt. Yeah, kind of a turtleneck, short sleeve.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I cannot believe I brought this.
- 24:43Speaker 2: To be honest, I'm thrilled you brought this.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I okay.
- 24:45Speaker 4: So I love painting, and I feel like everyone is
- 24:48Speaker 4: so good about talking about their hobbies and I just
- 24:50Speaker 4: am not because I think when people I'm like, oh
- 24:53Speaker 4: I like to paint, people think oh, yeah.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Yeah, we can stick on this for a bit.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Because this is yeah, people are like, oh.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Like do you post your paints?
- 25:04Speaker 4: And I'm like trying to bridge that gap, but I
- 25:07Speaker 4: don't think anyone's expecting I'm making like balloon.
- 25:10Speaker 3: People like what is this? Bridger?
- 25:13Speaker 2: Like, I love this. It's got a distinct style to it.
- 25:16Speaker 2: This is like somebody who this feels intentional? Do you
- 25:19Speaker 2: know what I mean?
- 25:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 25:21Speaker 4: So I recently moved and I've just been keeping all
- 25:24Speaker 4: my paintings just in a big pile.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 25:27Speaker 4: So then when I moved, I was like, oh, maybe
- 25:29Speaker 4: I hang up some of my old ones. And I
- 25:31Speaker 4: was going through them and I was like, oh my god.
- 25:34Speaker 3: There's nothing artistic, funny or anything about this?
- 25:37Speaker 2: What are you talking well to you? I think that
- 25:39Speaker 2: that's when somebody makes their own thing. That's I think
- 25:42Speaker 2: that's a common feeling.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Yeah, but not like this, maybe right, I don't know,
- 25:47Speaker 4: but I'm trying to get out there more with my work.
- 25:50Speaker 2: It's hard. I understand that feeling.
- 25:52Speaker 4: But I don't want to believe in it, and I
- 25:54Speaker 4: don't believe in.
- 25:55Speaker 3: It, and I'm not doing that in a way like
- 25:56Speaker 3: when I'm like, I'm.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Too scared of how good I am. This is just
- 26:00Speaker 4: a balloon man with uggs on.
- 26:02Speaker 2: What was going through my brain.
- 26:04Speaker 3: When I painted this? I don't know. It's usually when
- 26:06Speaker 3: I watch Bravo at.
- 26:07Speaker 2: The paint Oh this is how long have you been
- 26:09Speaker 2: painting for?
- 26:10Speaker 4: I mean when I was a kid, I used to
- 26:12Speaker 4: like be like, I'm going to be a painter. And
- 26:15Speaker 4: then I think it was during the pandemic, I like
- 26:17Speaker 4: or no, it was like a couple boyfriends ago. For
- 26:20Speaker 4: some reason, everyone buys me paints because I say that
- 26:22Speaker 4: I love painting so much, but.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Then I don't. Really that sounds kind of annoying.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Yeah, so now I just have a lot of pain.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Of course, that's my GID gifts. Just so.
- 26:33Speaker 4: I got really into it during the pandemic when everyone
- 26:36Speaker 4: was making bread, was making these little guys.
- 26:39Speaker 2: And how many do you think you've made?
- 26:41Speaker 4: I have so many, and I saved you and I
- 26:46Speaker 4: didn't bring you one on a canvas.
- 26:47Speaker 2: You did canvas?
- 26:48Speaker 3: I have so many and those are bulky?
- 26:51Speaker 2: How big are they?
- 26:52Speaker 3: I have some that are really big, badger.
- 26:56Speaker 4: I should have brought you a big, fat one.
- 27:00Speaker 2: But you send me some pictures to share, Yeah, if
- 27:02Speaker 2: you want.
- 27:02Speaker 4: No, I think this is good because I went, how
- 27:04Speaker 4: could I just get rid of these in a funny,
- 27:06Speaker 4: good way?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Right?
- 27:08Speaker 3: Why not bring it on a visual Yeah?
- 27:11Speaker 2: It kind of horses it out into the world. Yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 2: little therapeutic in a way.
- 27:15Speaker 3: And it's kind of just like, yeah, so there's another
- 27:18Speaker 3: one this.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Okay, you're you turn on the TV and is it like, oh,
- 27:24Speaker 2: I'm bored, I'm gonna start painting, or it is like
- 27:26Speaker 2: setting up the what is this called.
- 27:28Speaker 3: The no, I'm usually on the ground.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Okay, you're on the ground over like a like a ground.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I'm worried about your floor? Yeah, me too, nothing underneath
- 27:39Speaker 2: paint on it? Okay, there is paint on it.
- 27:41Speaker 3: But now I've been putting down you know, like a
- 27:45Speaker 3: cardboard box.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Okay, okay, couldn't get an easel, could I don't even try.
- 27:51Speaker 2: And easel feels like a bit of a an.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Affect, right, And I'm like, could you imagine this on
- 27:56Speaker 4: an ease?
- 27:57Speaker 2: Sure?
- 27:58Speaker 4: Because if I got an easel bridgel, then I have
- 28:00Speaker 4: bridger then I'd have to paint.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Well, well, no, I don't think so.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Anyone that's stands.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Anytime you see someone standing in front of an easel,
- 28:08Speaker 4: you're like, oh, they know what they're doing.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah. If there's like a reveal from behind to the
- 28:12Speaker 2: front of the easel and it's like a mass.
- 28:14Speaker 3: It's exactly I want to do paint.
- 28:16Speaker 4: I want to paint like a kid, is like getting
- 28:18Speaker 4: busy work at Sunday school or something.
- 28:20Speaker 2: I love that feeling. I love. Years ago, I had
- 28:23Speaker 2: like a real craving to draw with crayons, and I
- 28:27Speaker 2: went and bought a massive box of crayons, and then
- 28:29Speaker 2: the feeling went away and they just stayed in my closet.
- 28:32Speaker 2: But there was, I know, that feeling of like it's
- 28:34Speaker 2: just satisfying. There's like, yeah, there's low pressure, the stakes
- 28:37Speaker 2: are not that high. Yeah, and if it's a bad
- 28:41Speaker 2: you can just throw it away.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Or something truly like I want to do this in
- 28:44Speaker 4: a sense where it's like your parents are like go
- 28:46Speaker 4: upstairs and be busy for a second, you know what
- 28:50Speaker 4: I mean.
- 28:51Speaker 3: I just need to like do that to my brain.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Right, But when you're for me, when I'm drawing, if
- 28:56Speaker 2: I'm sincerely trying, there's a there's a fear that someone's
- 29:00Speaker 2: going to see and I'm going to be embarrassed. Yeah,
- 29:02Speaker 2: do you have that feeling?
- 29:03Speaker 4: So that's what I tried to like lose lose during
- 29:07Speaker 4: the pandemic, where I was like, just paint as much
- 29:09Speaker 4: as you can right forever, and then you stop thinking,
- 29:12Speaker 4: like what even is this? As you write, right, because
- 29:15Speaker 4: there was no beginning idea to him or her, Oh
- 29:18Speaker 4: so you just started or whatever. So I think it
- 29:22Speaker 4: was in the middle of that pile during the pandemic
- 29:24Speaker 4: where I had let go of the result. Okay, And
- 29:27Speaker 4: if this doesn't say that I let go the result,
- 29:29Speaker 4: I don't know what does. But that was a freeing
- 29:31Speaker 4: place to be.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Right of course. And so does this even begin with
- 29:34Speaker 2: a pencil drawing? No straight up paint.
- 29:38Speaker 4: Yeah, we're just going paint to paper and just just
- 29:40Speaker 4: straight to white, Like, what.
- 29:43Speaker 3: In the world, I don't even know where I began
- 29:45Speaker 3: with this? Do you do art?
- 29:46Speaker 2: Do you do? I know? I wish I could. I'm
- 29:49Speaker 2: a very I will say I'm a very good doodler.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I love a doodler.
- 29:53Speaker 2: But that's only when I'm like at work, you know,
- 29:56Speaker 2: like in a room and like just trying to focus
- 29:59Speaker 2: on what's being said, and so I'm just do And now,
- 30:03Speaker 2: of course the listeners who have said I have ADHD
- 30:05Speaker 2: or to say, gotcha, look at there's another thing.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Pull it another instance of Bridger having ADHD. There we go,
- 30:13Speaker 3: we trapped him.
- 30:15Speaker 2: But often I'm like, oh, wow, that's a great little
- 30:18Speaker 2: drawing that I did. But then when I try when
- 30:20Speaker 2: i'm just like at home, I'm like, it ends up
- 30:22Speaker 2: looking like trash.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Yeah, especially when you doodle and you're like, will someone
- 30:25Speaker 3: see this?
- 30:26Speaker 4: Yes, exactly exactly where you got to like do it enough,
- 30:31Speaker 4: the Ira glass thing and fill the gap where you're like,
- 30:33Speaker 4: just do it enough and then whatever.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Do you name your paintings.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I'd love for you to name this, if you'd like.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Oh, this is Angela's miracle, Angela's miracle. See I uh,
- 30:48Speaker 2: if anyone needs me to name their art that just
- 30:52Speaker 2: came right, That came right out of me. And that
- 30:54Speaker 2: was that, you know, And this is what I do
- 30:58Speaker 2: a home. I just name art over and over until
- 31:00Speaker 2: it doesn't mean anything to me.
- 31:01Speaker 4: That Okay, Now I want to just give you all
- 31:03Speaker 4: my art and have you.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Name it all.
- 31:05Speaker 2: It'll be my gallery.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Angela's miracle that came right. You didn't even take a.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Breath, not even a second. People are gasping. People cannot
- 31:15Speaker 2: believe my ability.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Well, i'll tell you what that is. That's Angela's miracle.
- 31:23Speaker 2: So you haven't named any of them. You haven't titled anything.
- 31:26Speaker 3: And there's another one in there that I'm excited for
- 31:27Speaker 3: you to name.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Okay, let's pull this up. Okay, Oh, I've already seen
- 31:30Speaker 2: another thing in there, which I don't think is what
- 31:32Speaker 2: you're referring to. But I'll pull out the first piece
- 31:34Speaker 2: of art.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Oh, you're kind of on both sides.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Oh, it's on both sides.
- 31:40Speaker 4: So I think I, during the pandemic must have went
- 31:41Speaker 4: through a little painting boobs face.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yes, there's like this, let's see.
- 31:45Speaker 4: So those are big boobs and then the other one
- 31:47Speaker 4: I did a boob smiley face.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah. The boobs have eyebrows.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know what you want to name those,
- 31:57Speaker 4: but this is uh autumns Autumns miracle, Autumns Knockers, a
- 32:07Speaker 4: knockers miracle.
- 32:08Speaker 3: No, I'm sorry, I'm getting in the way. I'm just
- 32:09Speaker 3: was excited.
- 32:10Speaker 2: No, we've got to start over. We've got to start over.
- 32:13Speaker 2: This is September's Hall. There we go, and it's on
- 32:18Speaker 2: both sides, so you get two pieces of art. It's
- 32:22Speaker 2: a bundles hall. That's what I'm gonna start calling all boobs.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Well look at your September's Hall.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Well it's fall. Look at your Septembers all.
- 32:34Speaker 2: That so quite a corn harvest. Wow, there are two
- 32:39Speaker 2: different types of boobs.
- 32:40Speaker 4: So that I think was like because I have I
- 32:42Speaker 4: have things that are like on official posters or canvas,
- 32:44Speaker 4: and then I have ones that are just on paper
- 32:46Speaker 4: where I was obviously just practicing for something else.
- 32:48Speaker 2: For a bigger project, for.
- 32:50Speaker 3: A bigger set of Septembers Hall. And I don't know why.
- 32:55Speaker 4: I think it was when like all the instagram are
- 32:57Speaker 4: girlies were posting like like gorgeous, like maybe this is
- 33:01Speaker 4: just my feed, but like like silhouettes of like women's bodies.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Oh sure, I'm.
- 33:06Speaker 4: Celebrating all types of feminine bodies.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Boobes with eyebrows, And I.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Was like, let's get in here and give it a mouth.
- 33:15Speaker 2: This actually speaks to something that's always a that has
- 33:19Speaker 2: happened to me too many times at this point when
- 33:21Speaker 2: I'm doodling and you often start with the eyes yes,
- 33:25Speaker 2: and someone will say often sincerely, they're asking are those boobs?
- 33:28Speaker 2: It's like, I'm in a public place drawing. What makes
- 33:33Speaker 2: you think I'm the person who would start just drawing.
- 33:35Speaker 3: A set of you think we are.
- 33:37Speaker 2: You can't imagine one other thing that someone might be
- 33:40Speaker 2: drawing that looks to be too.
- 33:41Speaker 3: I mean, I will say, yeah, my eyes in Angela's Miracle.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Look like those are boobs.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Boobs look like September holes.
- 33:48Speaker 2: But again, if you were in the office.
- 33:51Speaker 3: And you were like those two circles, you wouldn't be like,
- 33:56Speaker 3: I mean, if.
- 33:56Speaker 4: You're on the playground, you'd be like, okay, sure, Jimmy's
- 33:59Speaker 4: drawn big.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Old yeah, big old rack.
- 34:03Speaker 4: But now you're like, those are eyes because we're in
- 34:05Speaker 4: the workplace.
- 34:06Speaker 2: We're in the workplace. I'll let you know if they're boobs,
- 34:09Speaker 2: you'll see a lot more happening here. My hand will
- 34:13Speaker 2: be shaking Jesus.
- 34:14Speaker 3: My eyes would be like my eyes would be in
- 34:17Speaker 3: front of my face.
- 34:17Speaker 2: My job will be on the table, and you'd.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Hear, oh god if I was drawing boobs. But I
- 34:22Speaker 4: mean quiet because I'm drawing eyes.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I think too many people do that. The other
- 34:28Speaker 2: thing that I get often when I'm doodling is oh,
- 34:29Speaker 2: is that you It's like, what this is a witch?
- 34:34Speaker 2: I'm drawing a witch. Why would I be drawing myself.
- 34:39Speaker 2: That's a weird thing to be drawing. Suddenly you're drawing yourself.
- 34:41Speaker 4: I do remember in early art classes, the self portrait
- 34:44Speaker 4: was always a lesson in everything.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Oh, now do a self portrait. Yeah, take a look
- 34:49Speaker 2: at your seventh grade just awkward s Yeah, and now
- 34:52Speaker 2: look at yourself.
- 34:53Speaker 3: I don't know what it is. Why would anyone ever
- 34:56Speaker 3: draw themselves?
- 34:57Speaker 2: I guess a lot of artists are psychos. Yeah, there's
- 35:00Speaker 2: a lot of people that do portrait and you're.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Like, oh, this is how I view myself. Cool.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Cool, There's no way you actually, you know, absolutely no way.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Anyone who's ever done a self portrait has viewed themselves.
- 35:13Speaker 3: That that way.
- 35:14Speaker 2: It's a big love.
- 35:15Speaker 4: You were being creative, you were being that was your hour.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Fuck up, and tell yourself that when you made your
- 35:21Speaker 4: face a little disfigured, it's because you thought it would
- 35:24Speaker 4: be cool to think about yourself that way.
- 35:26Speaker 3: You don't actually look in.
- 35:27Speaker 4: The mirror and go, oh, my chin's down there like
- 35:30Speaker 4: a Picasso, you know what I mean?
- 35:32Speaker 2: Absolutely not zero chance, zero chance, but yeah, these these
- 35:37Speaker 2: do look like eyes or boobs. These look like boobs.
- 35:42Speaker 3: I'm going back, and I'm like, I really should have
- 35:43Speaker 3: just went full force. I kind of did.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Like the I was like, I'll just bring like baby paintings,
- 35:48Speaker 4: not like I should have just brought like a big
- 35:50Speaker 4: old cad and I'll send you picture.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Do you have an absolute favorite? Is there one you're
- 35:54Speaker 2: genuinely like, I'm kind of proud of this one.
- 35:56Speaker 4: I mean this one in a sense where I'm like,
- 35:59Speaker 4: I'm proud I got out of my way enough because
- 36:02Speaker 4: anyone actually wanting to make good art.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Wouldn't do something like this, Sure they would.
- 36:07Speaker 4: I think this is a sign to me of the
- 36:09Speaker 4: freedom and like loneliness that I was, like, no one's here,
- 36:14Speaker 4: and it actually doesn't matter what I paint like, Actually
- 36:16Speaker 4: nothing matters because we're in a pandemic.
- 36:19Speaker 2: It's so healthy.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Why I think I like this one because all my
- 36:22Speaker 4: other ones it's hard to look at because I tried
- 36:23Speaker 4: so hard.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Yeah, is everyone you can talk about that you've tried
- 36:27Speaker 2: way too hard on Okay, a show.
- 36:29Speaker 3: I have a recent one, but I can show you.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Okay, we got a picture of it to show me now. Yeah,
- 36:36Speaker 2: you don't have to.
- 36:37Speaker 4: No, no, because I've brought it up because it might
- 36:39Speaker 4: be the funniest thing I've ever done.
- 36:41Speaker 3: So I simply got to bring it up.
- 36:42Speaker 4: So I moved into this new place and I was
- 36:47Speaker 4: my friend was like, you, my friend that's a designer.
- 36:49Speaker 4: She was like, you need to make a Pinterest board
- 36:51Speaker 4: And I was like, what are we in eighth grade?
- 36:52Speaker 4: I haven't been on Pinterest in forever. I was like,
- 36:55Speaker 4: can I at least make a tumbler instead? So then
- 36:59Speaker 4: I was on Pinterest and so this this is a
- 37:02Speaker 4: painting I saw and I was like, I kind.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Of like this. It takes over this girl's hole.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Oh sure, okay, So I like.
- 37:09Speaker 4: How abstract it is, right right? And I think what
- 37:11Speaker 4: I liked about it was I was like, I can.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Do that, right, it's kind of like a horseshoe or
- 37:17Speaker 2: a big.
- 37:17Speaker 3: You or yeah, I think I just like how big
- 37:20Speaker 3: it is?
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah? Right, it takes up so much space and it's
- 37:22Speaker 2: kind of an Ora coral color. Yeah, okay, so you
- 37:26Speaker 2: were looking at this.
- 37:27Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I'm gonna and then I was like,
- 37:28Speaker 4: I'm not going to measure my wall. I'm just gonna
- 37:32Speaker 4: buy a canvas that I think will fit. And I'm
- 37:35Speaker 4: just going to do this in ten minutes. And who
- 37:39Speaker 4: would have thought it would have been bad?
- 37:40Speaker 3: Bridger? Are you ready for this?
- 37:43Speaker 2: I'll be the judge.
- 37:44Speaker 4: It's it's it's it's so sad, doesn't fit the wall.
- 37:54Speaker 2: It's not the right size. It's unfortunately not the crux.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Was it what that girl was? It's like a McDonald's red.
- 38:02Speaker 2: It's a it's a very deep it's yeah, it's like
- 38:06Speaker 2: a pumpkin orange suor something. And it's probably the size
- 38:10Speaker 2: of it looks like the perspective might be wrong here,
- 38:13Speaker 2: but the size of a pillow. Yeah, it's I mean,
- 38:15Speaker 2: whereas that girl had essentially a wall sized mural. This
- 38:21Speaker 2: is how big of a canvas is that.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I'm really bad at to mentions.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And you did this thing where it's a you put
- 38:28Speaker 2: a little curve too. Is that to make it your own?
- 38:32Speaker 2: To say I'm not a.
- 38:33Speaker 3: You just like riped this woman off.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I love it. I mean, I wonder what you like,
- 38:41Speaker 2: what my feelings on this would have been if you
- 38:43Speaker 2: had just shown it to me.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Yeah, well here's the thing that we can You can
- 38:47Speaker 4: stay tuned because I've doubled down and I'm gonna make it.
- 38:50Speaker 2: You're gonna work. You're gonna make it work.
- 38:52Speaker 4: So I've already I'm already like on draft three of it.
- 38:55Speaker 4: Oh your kid, And I'm just adding to the same canvas.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Oh interesting.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and it got bigger okay, like the.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Three or the you of whatever that red thing is.
- 39:04Speaker 4: It's gotten bigger. Okay, And now I'm painting over it.
- 39:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna crack it.
- 39:10Speaker 2: But you don't think that just the size itself is
- 39:13Speaker 2: part of the problem, the size of the canvas.
- 39:15Speaker 3: But I won't I won't go back and get another one.
- 39:18Speaker 4: So now I've turned it to the side, okay, and
- 39:21Speaker 4: I've added another canvas next to it.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Oh okay, So this is yeah, you are making sense
- 39:25Speaker 2: of it where you're making it more purposeful.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Because I was like I need a big canvas to make.
- 39:30Speaker 2: That r right, that's it, and I bet that's expensive.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:33Speaker 4: So I was like, I gotta make this one thirty
- 39:35Speaker 4: dollars canvas work and I won't stop.
- 39:39Speaker 2: And you did it ever occur to you, like I'll
- 39:42Speaker 2: paint the wall or is that two high stakes?
- 39:44Speaker 3: So I so I that did occur to me.
- 39:46Speaker 4: But I was like, not with Angela's miracle dance, Like
- 39:50Speaker 4: that's just scary.
- 39:51Speaker 2: That seems kind of like it could be a life
- 39:53Speaker 2: ruining experience. Yeah.
- 39:54Speaker 4: I just also, I I've always loved crafting and art
- 39:59Speaker 4: and stuff, but I'm.
- 40:00Speaker 2: So impatient, Like, right, you want it done.
- 40:02Speaker 3: I just wanted to be absolutely done.
- 40:04Speaker 4: I think the reason why I liked that original painting
- 40:07Speaker 4: is because it looks like you could do it in
- 40:08Speaker 4: an hour.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, it does. It's kind of deceptive, I guess.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Where it's like then you start and you're like, well this,
- 40:15Speaker 2: I guess I have to take some time and care.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Even just like doing a first coat. I was like, fine,
- 40:20Speaker 4: then it has to dry for hours.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Don't talk to me about a second coat. No, no, no,
- 40:26Speaker 2: no no no.
- 40:26Speaker 4: If it's not there, Yeah, if you live in a city,
- 40:29Speaker 4: you're not doing a second coake.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Give me a break, Taxi, I gotta go.
- 40:35Speaker 4: I feel like I'm being so jokey, jokey anytime I
- 40:37Speaker 4: put podcasts ear mote, it's to go.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Here's your clip joke jokes. Taxi, I gotta go.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Take me to the Empire's stake.
- 40:48Speaker 3: I have a meeting.
- 40:48Speaker 2: No any type of painting. Like, I can't remember what
- 40:51Speaker 2: I was trying to paint, but it was something within
- 40:53Speaker 2: my home, a wall or something, and I look up,
- 40:56Speaker 2: like how to paint properly, and they're like, first, put
- 40:58Speaker 2: a coat of primer. I'm like, well, I'm not doing primer. Nope,
- 41:02Speaker 2: I guess I'm not painting or the very best. I'm
- 41:06Speaker 2: doing a bad job. Yeah. Actually, now I remember I
- 41:08Speaker 2: had to paint some brick in my yard and they
- 41:10Speaker 2: were like, first of all, you've got to put down
- 41:11Speaker 2: two layers of primer or whatever the hell.
- 41:14Speaker 3: For a brick.
- 41:16Speaker 2: I'm going straight to brick with paint.
- 41:18Speaker 3: We can't just paint brick.
- 41:20Speaker 2: You're looking at somebody who did.
- 41:22Speaker 4: You a badass, and the brick took it.
- 41:27Speaker 3: It didn't need a like a appetizer.
- 41:30Speaker 2: And it's lasted at least a year, okay, and that's
- 41:32Speaker 2: all you need. I could have died in that year,
- 41:35Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 41:36Speaker 4: I honestly, in this conversation, I'm like, why do I
- 41:38Speaker 4: like painting if I'm like so impatient? And I'm like,
- 41:42Speaker 4: my friend has her grandmother's painting hanging up and it's
- 41:46Speaker 4: gorgeous and she never met her grandmother. It's like really abstract,
- 41:50Speaker 4: and I'm like, I think that's when I was like
- 41:52Speaker 4: I want to paint, because I was like, whoa, it's
- 41:54Speaker 4: crazy that and maybe it is so fucking theatrical and
- 42:00Speaker 4: losory of me, but I was like, this is cool that.
- 42:02Speaker 3: She like lives on.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, of course, And I.
- 42:04Speaker 3: Think like movies and stuff that doesn't feel like that
- 42:06Speaker 3: to me.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Will that all be destroyed soon, I'm sure.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Or like any type of comedy ever, I'm like, that's
- 42:13Speaker 4: just gonna live and die that character or whatever. That's
- 42:16Speaker 4: that's a joke that was for somebody, But like a
- 42:19Speaker 4: painting from like your family.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 42:22Speaker 3: So I was like, I want to do that and
- 42:24Speaker 3: have my daughter hang up her my painting.
- 42:25Speaker 2: I think that's lovely. Your daughter's gonna have to pull
- 42:28Speaker 2: a heist to get this one.
- 42:30Speaker 3: She's gonna have to get into your house.
- 42:31Speaker 2: She's just gonna have to steal from my grand niece
- 42:33Speaker 2: or something.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Yeah, because this will be hanging up.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Oh, of course it will. Of course, this is gonna
- 42:37Speaker 2: be worth so much, and it's gonna ruin your family.
- 42:40Speaker 2: It's gonna tear them apart, and they're gonna be like,
- 42:41Speaker 2: why does Bridger have that? Why does Bridger's great grand
- 42:44Speaker 2: niece or whatever.
- 42:45Speaker 4: Yeah, they're gonna go like, was there any legal document
- 42:48Speaker 4: where Bridger took ownership of Aara Angela's Miracle?
- 42:51Speaker 2: And because this podcast is purely digital, no one will
- 42:54Speaker 2: put it to physical tape, which I beg for. Come on,
- 42:57Speaker 2: this is gonna vanish and there'll be no record of.
- 43:00Speaker 4: No unless someone transcribes it, transcribe, publishes that transcribed.
- 43:04Speaker 2: It's on vinyl.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Yes, it's a power of attorney. I don't know what
- 43:08Speaker 4: I'm adding more red tape here?
- 43:10Speaker 2: How many times do I have to hint that this
- 43:12Speaker 2: podcast needs to be put to vinyl?
- 43:15Speaker 3: Just do it, guys.
- 43:17Speaker 2: You know you love to put a record on the
- 43:19Speaker 2: turntable and suddenly.
- 43:20Speaker 3: It's this, yes, or just a book of it, a book.
- 43:23Speaker 2: A full transcribed book, beautifully.
- 43:26Speaker 4: Beautiless for the podcast, so you can read it. Audiobooks
- 43:31Speaker 4: go backwards, we can go the other way.
- 43:33Speaker 2: That's not the worst idea. What will be the first
- 43:37Speaker 2: podcast that's turned into a book fully transcribed book? Heartless?
- 43:43Speaker 2: You know, I'm reading chapter or the third book and SmartLess,
- 43:48Speaker 2: God bless.
- 43:48Speaker 3: But we make a joke, a bridge of that could
- 43:51Speaker 3: truly happen.
- 43:52Speaker 2: There's somebody in a publishing house right now and her
- 43:55Speaker 2: the wheels are turning. She's like, I'm gonna get in
- 43:57Speaker 2: touch with the SmartLess guys.
- 43:58Speaker 4: And it's the same lady who was like, I think
- 44:00Speaker 4: we should keep doing like Alice in Wonderland and all
- 44:02Speaker 4: those books and just change the cover art, of course,
- 44:04Speaker 4: make them look old, and then you'll have SmartLess and
- 44:07Speaker 4: it'll look like the Bible for your dad for Father's Day.
- 44:12Speaker 2: The King James version of SmartLess. I would look I
- 44:18Speaker 2: would look into it. I would browse it at an airport.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Literally, and you and I think it's a it's a
- 44:22Speaker 4: gift to give someone and when they're like, oh, my
- 44:24Speaker 4: kid loves this podcast, so I got him the book
- 44:27Speaker 4: of it.
- 44:30Speaker 2: SmartLess boys, reach out. This is now our idea.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Yeah, we have it written down.
- 44:36Speaker 2: We will sue you. Literally, we'll sue whatever publisher you
- 44:40Speaker 2: get in touch.
- 44:41Speaker 3: With, whoever they are.
- 44:45Speaker 2: The ground.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna suit up. We'll suit up to.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Should I get this final thing out here? This I've
- 44:53Speaker 2: already gotten a peek at it I had to bring.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I'm gonna set this up here so we can get
- 44:58Speaker 2: just kind of boobs all the time. I'm on the podcast.
- 45:01Speaker 2: This is a very straight show, got a very horny
- 45:05Speaker 2: straight audience. Uh, okay, this gorgeous cake.
- 45:13Speaker 4: You'd bring a strawberry shortcake.
- 45:16Speaker 2: This is a stunning little cake you've got here. Why
- 45:19Speaker 2: did you bring that? Do people bring food on occasion?
- 45:21Speaker 3: On occasion?
- 45:22Speaker 2: On occasion?
- 45:23Speaker 3: I just was like, I think.
- 45:27Speaker 4: Because this is like an like you sit together, I
- 45:30Speaker 4: was like, I should bring food.
- 45:32Speaker 2: I think this is a great idea.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and I just thought she was gorgeous.
- 45:35Speaker 2: She's such a pretty little cake.
- 45:37Speaker 3: It's so funny how we stopped icing the whole thing.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a new It's the like, oh, let's
- 45:43Speaker 2: see the roughness, let's see the reality of the cake.
- 45:46Speaker 3: Yeah, we like seeing the scaffolding.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Right exactly? Should we? I wish we had forks or something.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Honestly, I was more.
- 45:54Speaker 2: On topic.
- 45:55Speaker 3: But here's the thing. I didn't know your diet terior restrictions.
- 45:59Speaker 2: You could and I'll die on podcasts. No, I'm willing to.
- 46:03Speaker 4: Die unless it's put in on paper. Put it on
- 46:06Speaker 4: a vinyl when you die, that's.
- 46:08Speaker 3: What they'll do it.
- 46:09Speaker 2: No, we'll get into this.
- 46:10Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 46:11Speaker 4: I just felt I like, I like bringing people. I'm
- 46:14Speaker 4: one of those girls that brings donuts to work.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Oh that's such a nice thing to do.
- 46:17Speaker 4: But I think it. I think it's because it makes
- 46:19Speaker 4: me feel good.
- 46:20Speaker 2: It makes you feel good. It's a selfish thing.
- 46:22Speaker 4: For you, or like like in theater school, I would
- 46:28Speaker 4: always like bring cookies for rehearsal, a fucking loser.
- 46:31Speaker 3: But for some reason it just made me happy.
- 46:33Speaker 2: So do you ever make any of the goods you bring?
- 46:35Speaker 1: No?
- 46:36Speaker 2: No, no, no, too impatient?
- 46:38Speaker 3: And I hate I like cooking because you can fuck around.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Oh right, this is where you and I are making
- 46:44Speaker 4: No way, are you a baker?
- 46:45Speaker 2: I love to bake. I love to bake. And it's
- 46:49Speaker 2: such a feeling when you bring a baked good and
- 46:51Speaker 2: people like it. Oh you know, I have to like
- 46:53Speaker 2: really keep myself in check because my ego is going
- 46:56Speaker 2: through the roof when people are showing my baked goods,
- 46:58Speaker 2: really really stop it. You know they're good. I know
- 47:05Speaker 2: these are great cookies. Yeah, that's why I brought them.
- 47:07Speaker 3: And you're exact with your yes.
- 47:09Speaker 4: See yeah, that's why I can't do that because I'm like,
- 47:12Speaker 4: you fuck up one little thing.
- 47:13Speaker 3: And the sponge cake is not a sponge cake. It's pudding.
- 47:17Speaker 3: And that was a flour thing that wasn't a I
- 47:20Speaker 3: don't know.
- 47:20Speaker 2: See this is where but I only I essentially only
- 47:23Speaker 2: make cookies, which I think there's a little bit more
- 47:25Speaker 2: the only guy cookie only man, I make brownies. I'll
- 47:29Speaker 2: make brownies, but that's a cookie bar essentially.
- 47:32Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'm like, I don't know what your order
- 47:36Speaker 4: of operations is, but I'm number one brownie.
- 47:38Speaker 2: I love a brownie.
- 47:39Speaker 4: But then cookie, Oh then cookie or then cake maybe
- 47:43Speaker 4: brownie cake, brownie cake, cookie?
- 47:45Speaker 2: You love a thing in a bar shape? Yeah?
- 47:47Speaker 4: I think they're like, yeah, okay, thank you so much.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Oh look at this on Lisa's brought a whole tea set.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, you can cut the cake.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Let's cut the cakes.
- 47:58Speaker 3: Sorry I should have warned y'all or brought plates.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Can you imagine? Okay, I'm trying to not pull this
- 48:05Speaker 2: apart and throw it on the floor. Let's see here. Oh,
- 48:10Speaker 2: very nice. Okay, I'm going to cut that boot. Yeah,
- 48:14Speaker 2: I would love to try, but it's also got this
- 48:17Speaker 2: insane little maybe pull the tape off of the thing. Yeah,
- 48:23Speaker 2: it's got a little thing holding apart. Yeah. I don't
- 48:29Speaker 2: understand what the need for the plastic is. I guess
- 48:31Speaker 2: they didn't trust themselves.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it's giving insecure baker.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Here we go on. Lisa is slowly pulling the tape
- 48:39Speaker 2: plastic ring. There we go. Oh, that seems kind of satisfying. Actually,
- 48:46Speaker 2: the big reveal gorgeous.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Gorgeous, Sorry about that, my pleasure?
- 48:52Speaker 2: Wow beautiful? That is wow. Look at that stunning little cake.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Gorgeous cake. People have got to see that cake.
- 49:00Speaker 3: What's your cookie?
- 49:01Speaker 2: Okay? My go to baking cookie is a chocolate chip cookie.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I've slowly developed the recipe using you know, all the
- 49:10Speaker 2: recipes I've ever used.
- 49:12Speaker 3: How many years?
- 49:14Speaker 2: It's been years and years at this point. I mean
- 49:16Speaker 2: I started. My mom is a big baker.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Oh she is, but she started with her recipe.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Yes, And I didn't really start baking for myself until
- 49:23Speaker 2: I moved to LA and I had one of those
- 49:25Speaker 2: little ovens that was basically from nineteen twenty seven. Yeah,
- 49:28Speaker 2: that you didn't know what temperature it was or anything.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Cleaned it, yes, And now then that started in probably
- 49:34Speaker 2: twenty twelve, so it's been about thirteen years that I've
- 49:37Speaker 2: been baking and not the recipe. I would say, it's perfect.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Can I ask off the bat? Are you freezing the
- 49:42Speaker 3: no the night before?
- 49:44Speaker 2: This is a whole other thing. Of course. The impatience. Yeah,
- 49:47Speaker 2: I'm I will bake part. I bake part of it
- 49:50Speaker 2: to begin with, because I need my cookie now and
- 49:52Speaker 2: I'm not a planner.
- 49:53Speaker 3: And my friends lives and dies by this, and we've
- 49:55Speaker 3: had arguments.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Oh interesting.
- 49:57Speaker 3: She was like, if you're not freezing, I don't know.
- 50:00Speaker 3: I'm bored.
- 50:02Speaker 4: She's like, if it's if you're not making the dough
- 50:03Speaker 4: the night before, it's not a good cookie.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Okay, So I love I'm going to hold a knife
- 50:08Speaker 2: for every episode of the podcast.
- 50:09Speaker 4: I feel so casual with you with the knife.
- 50:11Speaker 2: It's fine. You do refrigerating, it always helps, it always
- 50:19Speaker 2: some genius. But this is the thing. A cookie. If
- 50:22Speaker 2: the recipe is good will taste good when you bake
- 50:24Speaker 2: it the first time as well. Yeah, the next day
- 50:26Speaker 2: it'll be a little better. The next day it will
- 50:28Speaker 2: be even better. The next day will probably be the
- 50:31Speaker 2: very best. Really, then you've got some diminishing returns. And
- 50:34Speaker 2: at that point, if you still have dough, you want
- 50:37Speaker 2: to turn it into balls. Put it on the cookie sheet.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Put all of them on the cookie sheet, Put them
- 50:42Speaker 2: in the freezer for ten to twenty minutes so that
- 50:44Speaker 2: they're hard, and then you can put them in a
- 50:47Speaker 2: bag and freeze them all and you know.
- 50:49Speaker 3: Later, freeze it as a unit.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Freeze it as a unit. You can't freeze the whole
- 50:53Speaker 2: dough together, because then that's gonna be a nightmare to
- 50:54Speaker 2: pull apart. Oh yeah, but if it's in the fridge
- 50:58Speaker 2: too long, you're you're playing with fire. Yeah, you want
- 51:00Speaker 2: to refrigerate it. Those flavors are mashing together, they're becoming
- 51:03Speaker 2: The sugar is taking on the butter, Yeah, the vanilla,
- 51:07Speaker 2: all of this.
- 51:07Speaker 4: See, now I understand it does make sense because I
- 51:11Speaker 4: I have like a I have a bowlin aise that
- 51:13Speaker 4: I that I've perfected that makes sense.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Is a flavor thing.
- 51:16Speaker 4: A long time and it took my mom's recipe and
- 51:18Speaker 4: my granm and I figured out mine, and it's better
- 51:22Speaker 4: than the next thing.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Right, the flavors have all kind of teamed up.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and they've like we've met, they've stewed century.
- 51:29Speaker 3: Yeah, we found our chemistry. Now we're ready to room.
- 51:33Speaker 2: But yeah, I usually will make an entire thing of
- 51:36Speaker 2: dough and then make one two cookies, one for me,
- 51:39Speaker 2: one for my boyfriend a night, for like a week. Essentially.
- 51:44Speaker 3: That's so sweet.
- 51:46Speaker 2: How big. I think it's like, I think it is
- 51:47Speaker 2: kind of like I mean, I just talk about it
- 51:50Speaker 2: casually now, but I think it's psycho Well.
- 51:52Speaker 4: I think a lot of people do one cookie in
- 51:54Speaker 4: the sheet.
- 51:55Speaker 3: It's like a new thing.
- 51:56Speaker 2: You gotta because otherwise I'm going to eat all of them.
- 51:58Speaker 3: A lot of my TikTok girlies.
- 52:00Speaker 2: That interesting curlies. I did it first.
- 52:03Speaker 3: He did it first, writing.
- 52:07Speaker 2: It's in the Bible version of I said, okay, okay,
- 52:12Speaker 2: let me let me sl Yeah.
- 52:13Speaker 3: I don't think I cracker open here.
- 52:16Speaker 4: Oh you're just doing this to one half each. I've
- 52:20Speaker 4: never seen anyone cut a cake like that.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Boom, there's your half. Enjoy, thank you, and then for
- 52:30Speaker 2: me it's just a sliver there. It is okay. Oh,
- 52:39Speaker 2: I love a whipped cream.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 52:41Speaker 2: I love a strawberry.
- 52:42Speaker 3: Take it.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Although I'll say that it seems like they put some
- 52:45Speaker 2: sort of sugar glaze on the straw strawberry.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Jesus, we just can't do hy berry.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Let it shine. The strawberry is one of the perfect foods.
- 52:53Speaker 3: I know.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I'm going to try all of this at once, though.
- 52:57Speaker 3: Oh this is a lot.
- 52:58Speaker 2: I try to get this mashed into my mouth.
- 53:01Speaker 4: Wow, it's you know, fine, we'll look at that.
- 53:09Speaker 3: A fine strawberry shork cake.
- 53:11Speaker 2: It's good.
- 53:12Speaker 3: I should have sought out a really nice one for you.
- 53:15Speaker 2: I think that's very good. This isn't another thing where
- 53:17Speaker 2: like it's hard to say, but like contextually, if you
- 53:20Speaker 2: had brought this and said you had made it.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Then i'd have ye at gunpoint, yeah, you would have.
- 53:25Speaker 2: It would be interesting to see what my reaction would
- 53:27Speaker 2: have been. I may have been like, this is the
- 53:29Speaker 2: best strawberry shortcake I've ever had.
- 53:31Speaker 4: You know, are you one to blow something up if
- 53:33Speaker 4: someone put along?
- 53:34Speaker 2: No, But I think the context matters. I think to
- 53:37Speaker 2: be like, wow, do you work? And yeah, effort? That
- 53:41Speaker 2: was put into this and it's good. It's not disgusting. Yeah,
- 53:44Speaker 2: I would have been dazzled, and I am dazzled. I
- 53:47Speaker 2: think it's good. I love whipped cream, I love strawberries,
- 53:51Speaker 2: and poundcake I think is decent. That's my big problem
- 53:54Speaker 2: with all strawberry shortcake. I'm like, well, it's just vanilla cake.
- 53:57Speaker 3: I love poundcake.
- 53:58Speaker 2: You do just pure pound cause it's not asking a
- 54:01Speaker 2: lot of me, right, it's just a simple vanilla flavor.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a muffin, but dessert. And I think
- 54:06Speaker 3: I like that. It is piffany and I'm not an
- 54:08Speaker 3: icing girl. I like it. Not a loser.
- 54:12Speaker 2: But you could just eat a plain vanilla cake.
- 54:15Speaker 3: If it's good.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's impressive, Thank you so much. I need a
- 54:19Speaker 2: little little razzle dazzle.
- 54:21Speaker 3: You need like a little swirl.
- 54:22Speaker 2: A swirl. I need a chocolate or something like this
- 54:26Speaker 2: where we've dressed it up.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Yeah, she's formal. She's got her shoes on and a scarf.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Wow, but you're a brownie person first.
- 54:35Speaker 4: Yeah, here's how it is. I'm just gonna raw brownie cake.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Okay, cookie ice cream, okay?
- 54:44Speaker 2: Pie? Interesting? And can you name out of those categories
- 54:47Speaker 2: like well, brownie is a brownie or is there a
- 54:49Speaker 2: type of brownie you like?
- 54:50Speaker 3: See, I'm going just like the bare bones what they are?
- 54:53Speaker 2: Right?
- 54:53Speaker 3: Just a chock, I'd say, just like, Yeah. Not a
- 54:56Speaker 3: blondie isn't a brownie.
- 54:57Speaker 2: Blondie is not a brownie. It's a different bar. It's
- 55:00Speaker 2: a blondie.
- 55:01Speaker 4: To me, a blondie is close to a biscuit or
- 55:05Speaker 4: a biscottie.
- 55:07Speaker 2: A blondie is more in the line of cake almost.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hard cake.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's old stiff cake.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Or blondie is a thick cookie?
- 55:15Speaker 2: Yeah? Or a too soft cookie?
- 55:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I like with brownies.
- 55:19Speaker 2: I like the.
- 55:21Speaker 3: I like them to be dense and cake.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Leg right, I need it to be in a very
- 55:25Speaker 2: intense flavor.
- 55:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:26Speaker 3: What's your what's that your top.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Cookie of chocolate chip cookie within the cookie category? Yeah,
- 55:31Speaker 2: I mean almost all cookies, all cookies, Yeah, as long
- 55:34Speaker 2: as they have some type of chocolate in them. Okay,
- 55:36Speaker 2: a lot of like like a ginger snap. I could
- 55:40Speaker 2: never thought.
- 55:40Speaker 3: That there's like a lot of fruit in cake and pie.
- 55:43Speaker 4: Not a lot of fruit cookies.
- 55:45Speaker 2: No, there are very few fruit cookies. My mom makes
- 55:49Speaker 2: it an apricot cookie very good. But it's almost like
- 55:52Speaker 2: a little pie.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a mini little pie.
- 55:55Speaker 2: But chocolate chip cookie cookie. Category Next is brownies. Yeah,
- 56:00Speaker 2: exact type of brownie as you or a peanut butter
- 56:03Speaker 2: brownie or a cheesecake brownie, almost any type of brownie,
- 56:06Speaker 2: as long as I don't like a frosting on a brownie.
- 56:08Speaker 2: I don't really care for that either.
- 56:09Speaker 3: I kind of like a corner piece.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I love a corner I could essentially as long
- 56:13Speaker 2: as it doesn't have some something slathered across the top.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Third for me, ice cream slash milkshake. Great, I love
- 56:22Speaker 2: a milkshake. Fourth, I think is a tie between cake
- 56:26Speaker 2: and pie, and they have to be very good because
- 56:30Speaker 2: they're both commitments.
- 56:32Speaker 4: They are you did cut yourself a small cookie like piece.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I think you haven't finished yours. Is there something wrong
- 56:38Speaker 2: with the cake? Ansela? You don't like the cake?
- 56:43Speaker 3: The half a cake?
- 56:45Speaker 2: Are you not hungry? No? Cake and pie I think
- 56:51Speaker 2: are higher steaks. They're a bigger commitment and it's very
- 56:55Speaker 2: rare that I will seek out a cake the one
- 56:57Speaker 2: place I'll get cake. Have you ever been to Quarters
- 57:00Speaker 2: Sheets in Los Angeles?
- 57:01Speaker 3: Quarter Sheets Place?
- 57:03Speaker 2: Oh?
- 57:03Speaker 3: Yes, I was gonna say, are you talking about I've
- 57:05Speaker 3: never had their cake.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Their cake is I never ordered desserted any restaurant ever there.
- 57:10Speaker 2: This is the one place that every single time they
- 57:13Speaker 2: have a princess cake that is so beautiful, so delicious.
- 57:17Speaker 3: That's a princess cake.
- 57:18Speaker 2: It's you've probably seen one before.
- 57:19Speaker 3: They have like a barbie in the middle. That's what
- 57:22Speaker 3: a princess cake is to me.
- 57:25Speaker 2: It's full of plastic doll parts.
- 57:27Speaker 3: But have you seen those the barbie?
- 57:28Speaker 2: Oh wait, that's a real thing.
- 57:29Speaker 3: So it's a barbie. And then the cake is on
- 57:32Speaker 3: the side.
- 57:32Speaker 2: It's like her dress right now, that's a skirt cake.
- 57:38Speaker 2: That's a skirt.
- 57:39Speaker 3: That's a princess cake.
- 57:41Speaker 2: No, a princess cake is like a green, like beautiful,
- 57:44Speaker 2: like minty green color on top. Yes, And then which
- 57:48Speaker 2: and I'm not crazy about Actually it's Marsapan. That's why
- 57:51Speaker 2: I like it because it's more of a flavored thing.
- 57:54Speaker 2: It's more the thinking man's fondant, because Fonda is essentially.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Plastic and Marzapan.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Is it's like an almondy got it stuff. And then
- 58:04Speaker 2: it's got white cake, raspberry and lack cream. I know
- 58:07Speaker 2: exactly what this is, and I will say a lot
- 58:09Speaker 2: of princess cakes are not that good. They're too sweet,
- 58:11Speaker 2: They're like too almondy quarter sheets. I think it's a
- 58:15Speaker 2: husband and wife duo, and they are. The piece is unbelievable.
- 58:20Speaker 2: The cake is unbelievable. And weekly they have a different cake,
- 58:23Speaker 2: sheet cake. So if you can get there in time,
- 58:26Speaker 2: you get to try this thoughtful sheet cake that's always
- 58:29Speaker 2: interesting and fantastic.
- 58:31Speaker 3: I'm doing that this week.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Bridger, good luck. You got to get a reservation. This
- 58:35Speaker 2: place is impossible to get into at this point.
- 58:38Speaker 3: They should reach out.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Reach out.
- 58:41Speaker 3: I got cake and art for you. Just invite me
- 58:45Speaker 3: reach out.
- 58:46Speaker 2: No, the cake is unlike any cake I've ever eaten before.
- 58:49Speaker 2: But so that's the sort of cake that I enjoy. Okay,
- 58:51Speaker 2: a regular birthday cake. If I'm at a birthday party
- 58:53Speaker 2: and someone says, you want some cake, I ate before
- 58:56Speaker 2: I came, I ate cake.
- 58:58Speaker 3: I had cake on the way. So for your birthday,
- 59:03Speaker 3: you're not.
- 59:04Speaker 2: I had some can it on the bus.
- 59:05Speaker 3: I had car cake. Are you so for your birthday
- 59:08Speaker 3: you're never? Are you blowing a candle out of a cookie?
- 59:12Speaker 2: I'll usually have a cake. Yeah, you're like whatever and
- 59:14Speaker 2: I'll be like everybody, does everyone else want some of
- 59:16Speaker 2: this cake that some somebody thoughtfully got for me?
- 59:20Speaker 3: I'm so glad I brought this cake.
- 59:22Speaker 2: I liked it. And it's morning, you know, it's like
- 59:24Speaker 2: we're not even where. It's like lunchtime at this point,
- 59:27Speaker 2: and this is a nice mort. I consider anything without
- 59:30Speaker 2: chocolate breakfast.
- 59:31Speaker 4: I completely agree, especially if you put a fruit on it.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Oh, of course, it's just like this is essentially I
- 59:36Speaker 2: could have woken up and had this with coffee.
- 59:38Speaker 3: This is a parfay.
- 59:39Speaker 2: This is this is a parfay. I should have more
- 59:42Speaker 2: parfas for breakfast.
- 59:44Speaker 3: Oh that I went through a huge parfae phase in.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Your case, what were you putting in your parfay?
- 59:48Speaker 3: I was just really obsessed with the Starbucks one.
- 59:51Speaker 2: I didn't know Starbucks had a parfa I don't.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Think they still do. But it was like I would
- 59:54Speaker 3: get like a frappuccina and.
- 59:55Speaker 2: A parfect Oh my god.
- 59:57Speaker 4: And my digestive says, was a cake when I was
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: in middle school, and I was.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Gone, you have to take advantage of that, you do.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: We don't talk about that anymore.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: We are adults telling children. Roll for it? Do it?
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Now absolutely go crazy.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Like you are. You will be fine. The window is closing, literally,
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: like do it now.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Your body is a furnace and you can throw whatever
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: you want in there.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: Oh and you can. You can like prap and have
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: a veggie every once in a while. That will be
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: the rest of your life.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Yes, she'll get used to the idea.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Yeah, but you could do whatever you want.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Have a frap and parf.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, crap and parf parf.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: Frap in your breakfast, your lunch are having hot cheetos,
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: Maybe another.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Frap, wash it down with some grave Yeah.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: And for dinner I was having.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: My mother would come home at nine pm with Elco
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: and be like sorry, and she'd throw it on the
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: table and.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Get into the bird feeder and have some sugar water.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: If I ate that, if I ate what I used
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: to eat that days, I.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Would be oh, my life, my health would eat frazier.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: It would be like I went to like Coachella for
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: like three weeks.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: I'm like, put me away. It's just not a thing.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: It's not a possibility for an adult body. It doesn't
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: like it feels bad.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: It's almost like I broke my arm last year, and
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: I remember like the the guy was like, I was
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: like the vet. The doctor was like, he was like,
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: you need to keep this on for like months this
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: And I was like, wow.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: When I was little, I remember breaking my arm all
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: the time, and it was.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Like a week breaking your arm all the time.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: I was like, I mean I broke around twice.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Are you a pro skater?
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: No?
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: I was just like one of those kids right right.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: But it was crazy to me because there was like, yeah,
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: a lot of kids sometimes we don't even need a cast,
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: we just put it on there. But like their bodies
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: just heal really fast, and this doctor is and we're
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: slowly dying.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: So yeah, of course your body's like, well, why why bother,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I'll leave.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: He's just gonna take me so long to rebuild this.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Wow. So how long did you have the cast on? For?
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Like two months?
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: How did you break your arm?
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Oh here's a story, dear friend, Patrick.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Mcton, Oh my god, we love Patrick McDonald.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: I went to a birthday party at a roller rink okay,
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: and I was just roller skating, took a mighty tumble,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: landed on my wrist in such a way that was
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: so bad because I was like dancing.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: I think it was like, okay, I was like dancing and.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Fell on my wrists so bad.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: And Patrick was there, and I've never seen him like
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: completely like does.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: He go to like an emergency mode.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: No, almost in the opposite one of you.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: Or he was just like, oh my god, oh my god,
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: And I was like, yeah, what am I doing?
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: For some reason and I both thought in that state
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: where my wrist was like this, and he was like,
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: we have to get the doctor at the Moonlight Roller
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: rank and we were like, do you guys have the
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: doctor doctor d And for some reason we both were like,
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: We'll just wait here for the doctor. And then like
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: twenty minutes later, a sixteen year old comes up with
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: like ice pack, a frozen thing of pease.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Hey Gurley, Yeah, hey Gurley, I'm so sorry. This happens
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: all the time. Just put this on there. And we
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: were like, what about the doctor? And I was so
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: out of it and Patrick was so like, oh, no,
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: we need a doctor.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Oh And so then were you driven to the hospital.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: What happened? Yeah?
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Patrick?
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: I was like, Pat, I think you need to sit
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: here and have some water, yeage. I wasn't well and
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: my friend was like, my, my friend, that's the opposite,
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: which is.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Like, get in my car.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: I already haven't rooted it, got me in my car,
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: and got me in her car and we handled it.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Why was I?
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I like to think I'm that that person
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: that in an emergency, the adrenaline kicks in and I
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: become this calm like we can. I can figure it.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: Out, and I don't want to find out.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: You don't want to find I would rather not find out.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: I think I'm like I'm very much at like make
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: that person feel not in panic, right, And I think
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: I can like downplay because I'm like.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: You're fine, you're fine to you're now gas lighting?
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and yeah.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: My friend had something on her eye and I was like,
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: you don't. And it was so actually that it was
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: like a wedding and we're all bridesmaids.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: She's like, it's really in my life. I like really
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: can't take.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: Pictures and I went, yes, you can. I did it
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: in a thoughtful while, but like what cunt of me?
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: I was like, there's honestly, I'm looking at your eight.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: I don't see anything that's very stage mom.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, we just got to keep going.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: We need to take the picture. The pageant is almost over.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: We need just smile and sit up a.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Trophy on the line. There's a tr on the line. Wow, okay,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: I don't want you or Patrick around.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: For my emergency. I want to be alone in an
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: emergency and see how I deal with it.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: And just hey, Alexa, finish me off.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Okay, well, uh, I think we should play a game.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: Yeah, let's do it.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Let's play a game called Let's see onnals. What was
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: the last game we played.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: I think that it was Gift or a Curse?
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Okay, I think we should play Gift Master. I needed
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: a number between one and ten from you.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: Four.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Okay. I have to do some light calculating to get
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: our game piece game pieces. Okay, so you can promote, recommend,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: do whatever you want with the microphone. Well you're calculating
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: right back.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Yes, okay, Hey guys.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: What's up.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: I'm gonna promote. Oh yeah, I'll up promote me and
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: Patrick's podcast.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: Bridger has been on it. It's really fun. Artists on
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: artists on artists on artists for artists. We have a Patreon.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: We also do funny silly things. Bridgers episode super fun.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: Besides that, I'm gonna promote anyone making an authentic strawberry
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: shortcake good for you because the store bought ones.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: They don't hit as hard. They just don't. My god,
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: what are you calculating? I can't focus. I tried it
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: a second time.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: It's fine stuff.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: It's a good cake.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: You'll let it's it for twenty minutes. Still tastes the same.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: It's a good cake. I've got our game pieces. This
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: is how we play gift Master. I'm going to name
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: three things, three gifts that you can give away, three objects, experiences,
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: what have you. I'm going to name three celebrities. You're
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: going to tell me which celebrity you would give yes, yes,
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: which gift and why that makes sense?
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: I hope you totally failed. I go, hey, what fifty nine.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: That gift? Kill that gift, marry that gift.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Okay, you understand perfectly. Do I have anything to recommend? No,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: I already talked about the Patreon listener get into it.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Do I have any thing outside of my own selfish
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: self promotion to recommend? I alreadycommended the Little House on
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: the Prairie, thinking, yeah, I guess we got nothing else.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: To recommend my apologies forgive me artists of the world.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Artists on Artists on Artists is an excellent podcast. It's
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: so funny and I had such a good time doing it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: So funny.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna name the three gifts you're gonna and
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: the celebrities you'll you know, you get it, got it? Okay.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: The three celebrities today are number one Benson Boone copy,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Number two Erica Badoo, Oh my god, kind of opposite
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: ends of the taste spectrum.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: I would say, different playlist.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: And number three is Dennis the Menace. Dennis the Menace
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: is just a cartoon character.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Uh, It's like little friend.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Dennis the Menace is just kind of a local menace,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: blonde menace. It was I believe it started as a
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: comic strip probably in the eighteen seventies, okay, became a cartoon,
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: became a movie movies maybe, I don't know. And the
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: three gifts you're going to be giving away today are
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Number one one weird long hair on their neck.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: Okay, it belongs on them, It's on them, Yes, it belongs.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Okay, it belongs on them.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Number two four star accommodations, so not five star, not.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Three star, four.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Star accommodations and number three a sense of play.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: We don't need to give Benson Boone a sense of
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: play because I.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Think he's goad enough.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: What a playful guy, what a playful.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: If he's not flipping around, I don't know what else
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: is playful. He's playful, he's a playful spirit, and he's like,
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: let me try to be Harry styles, let me be playful.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Sorry, that was rude. That was so rude.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: That was cruel. That was so rude.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: Okay, I'm giving my girl Erica about to do a.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Sense of play, oh wow, because I think she needs it.
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: But I'm doing it because I think just she deserves it.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: And I think, yeah, she like I think she has it.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Exactly. I think like a new dose of it, like
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: a vitamin. It's always good, you know what I mean.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: And I don't want to give Dennis the Menace or
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: Benson Boonett. And that's kind of why I'm giving it
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: to Erica.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: That's logical, perfect, and I think I.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: Actually trust her to regift.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: It well right right, if she should she need to, Yeah,
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: she can have that gift clause.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: Then I'm giving.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: I'm giving Dennis the Menace a long hair, one gross
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: one gross long hair on him. I'm giving him that
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: because I think comic strips don't have a lot of
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: good facial hair.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: Oh, interesting, they really don't.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: There's a lot of just like just like cartoons too.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: It's just like we don't see like disgusting ingrown hairs.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of clean faces, a lot of clean face.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: You're not seeing clean legs. I feel like you're not
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: even seeing beards that often within the comic strips. No bushes,
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: zero bushes.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Show me a comic strip with a.
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: Bush, please listeners, that's recommend me some it's insane. And
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: then yeah, I'm giving Benson Boone the four star accommodations
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: because it's nice. Sure, and it's not that nice.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Yeah. It feels like he's probably at this point he's
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: probably being showered with five star accommodations. He's probably getting spoiled.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: Yes, And I think it's good for someone popping off
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: to not have the best of everything. I think he should.
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: You should change it up and you should get a
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: four star something.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: And go hmmm mm hmm. His sense of play is
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: at risk.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: I think I answered it correctly, and I know, no, I.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Think that you know, maybe first time of the history
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: of this game. It's just correct, so annoying.
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: I get it right.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: That's an A plus, an absolute A plus.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Oh my god, I didn't know we reingraded.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Uh you are now, and I think you did a
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: great job at Benson. Good luck with the good but
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: not perfect hotel. Just be nice, do a backflip off
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: the bed.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: Yeah, they're doing their best.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: They're doing their best. They're doing their absolute best. Okay.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: And now Anally's has a gift or a curse? That
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: or yes, we didn't play this game. Analiz is going
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: to give us a thing and they're going to ask
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: us if it's a gift or a curse and why Okay,
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: and then we'll answer and see who's correct, because An's
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: has the correct answer.
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: Okay, gift or a curse. The Fast and Furious franchise, h.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Do you want to go or should I go?
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: I'm gagged. You have to go first to people.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Or to us, And again we don't get any more information,
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: so you have to. Really we have to think about
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: this international blockbusting franchise.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: Ten years of stuff.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: It does great numbers in every territory and is about
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: a sense of family and maybe a sense of play,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: maybe a little. I'm going to say the Fast and
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: the Furious franchise, ooh for me, I'm going to say
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: it's a curse. I'm going to say, these are the
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Fast and the Furious films. I've seen number one. I've
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: seen oh and I think what I think. I've seen
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: that one, and then I've seen the spinoff called Hobbs
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: and Shaw, which was the most top three most exhausting
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: film experiences of my entire life. It was worse than
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: watching a video game cut scene. There was absolutely nothing
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: there for me. I'm going to say, ultimately, curse. I
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: they're not for me, and I've This is the other thing, people,
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: This is the thing about Fast and the Furious. Well,
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: they're actually really good movies. Yeah, this is the every
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: time start with number four. They're amazing movies. You've got
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: to see the They're great movies. And then I watch
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: them and I say, I don't think so.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: But that's what we're saying.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Just because it's about men getting along with each other
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: over stolen cars. And you know there's one girl always, yeah,
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: there's one girl. She's one of the guys. She's always
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: got to be one of the guys. I've been told
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: too many times they're great movies. They're actually great movies.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: And then I watch them like I for I guess
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: for what it is, but yeah, I don't care. And
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: then I saw this Hobbs and Shop. Well now I'm
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: I guess I'm lying because I've only seen the Hobbs
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: and Shown, which I think people hate. I think, yeah,
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: And then I saw the first one, which I will
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: say is a bad movie. And now the Car and
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Fast and Furious community is gonna come after me. They're
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: not for me, not my cup of tea. I think
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: it's a curse.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: Well, if it's coming after you, it's coming up to
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: me too, because I think it's a curse.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: I think it's a curse to me and to others.
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: That movie's got to be like that.
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: Once we passed like four or five of them. Now
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: I was like, now every now it's kind of got
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: to be like that. And that's what a curse is.
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: It's things repeating over and over and over again, and
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: it's being stuck in the same sin inescapable, inescapable, And
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: I think that and I am mixing it up with
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: the Transformers franchise. Oh yeah, that's worse, same shit, I think,
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: same curse, different machine. One's family on Robots. I do
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: love a family story.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: I love an ensemble movie.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: We'd love to see everyone getting along.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: But I think this is a curse because it's the
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: kind of the same thing. It's kind of putting audiences
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: on the same like male let's drive fast thing.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: Yes, this is the other thing. I'll say, fast and
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: furious is a curse because you know, every man that
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: goes to see those movies, as he's driving out of
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: the parking lot of the movie theater is going a
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: little bit too fast. He's thinking, I'm in the movie now. Yes,
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: he's blasting his music. Yes he thinks I'm Hobbes. Truly.
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: I think every time you see someone like be a
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: little dickish on the.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Road, they're thinking, look at me.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: I'm sure they're like listening to like a flow Rita
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: song in there.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: Yes exactly, I gotta go.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: And like that's really fun and good escapism, And I
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: get it, and I do that with other shit in
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: my life, but not on the road.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Boys, No, keep it off the road. Keep it off
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: the highways is.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: They're a girl boss, fast and furious. Oh like a
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: foal where it was like sheesus daughter.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Oh interesting, interesting that all was there? Who did Ocean's eight? Yeah,
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: get them on this Fast and the Furious girl boss?
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Yeah, fast in the furious, curly hair. That was so bad.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: I'm hitting such a massive wall. I'm becoming a bad time.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: Next, what's the answer.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: I'm sorry?
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Oh, turn it's a gift.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: It's a gift.
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: It unites so many different kinds of people. I've met
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: the most random people who happen to love this franchise.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: They're so little that brings us together. And you know what,
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: isn't family always a gift? Let's be let's be real.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: No, watch any movie about Thanksgiving.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: It's awful. It's a trap, a curse and.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Bad on a Lisa. I wish this window could like
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: darken and I could push a tint so I didn't
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: have to even look at you.
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: You're gonna have to stare directly into my eyes when
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: I tell you the Fast and the Furious franchise a gift.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: If you wouldn't mind an editing, just remove you saying
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: it's a gift and say it's a curse. You can
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: use my voice. Curse curse, curse, curse, curse, curse.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: This is Analise's clean audio saying it's a curse. Beep
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: beep put in like a car run engine, yeah, revving.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Uh men screaming and fighting with each other. Okay, Well
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Anally's unfortunately is out of control and wrong. Uh. But
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: and we were correct this time. Thank you, Analis And uh.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: This is the final segment of the podcast. It's called
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: I said no emails. People right into I said no
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: gifts at gmail dot com. They'll send their voicemails. They'll
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: send emails. They're begging for questions. We hope me answer
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: a question. Okay, this first one. Uh, actually, let's do that.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: I got a quick one. This is from a Patreon Uh.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: It's from a listener named Rick. What is your favorite
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: nineteen nineties TV show? I think this is a nice
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: quick answer. One oh.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Seventh Heaven.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Oh I never saw it.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: I really love it. It's so weird.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: And is this, I hate to say it, the one
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: where the guy ended up being a.
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: Oh no, really the main actor I don't know, probably
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: name of nineteen nineties show that wasn't I'm not normalized you.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Know what I mean.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: I need to see Seventh Heaven. I bet I would
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: love that.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: Now, I don't think you need to but on the
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: same lines as you need to see The Raccoon.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Now, don't put those two in the same category. But
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: I bet I would love Seventh Heaven. This feels like
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: it would be a weird show to watch.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it was so weird, And I think it has
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: a funny memory in my heart because my mom used
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: to use it as like a teaching mechanism for me.
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: Oh real, like anytime, like the daughter in the show
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: would lie to her mom, and mom would be in
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: the other room, like.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: You see, that's not good. She's lying. That's not that good,
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: don't you think that? And it worked every time for me.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: So I think that's a great answer. It's a great
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: classic piece of sperience. I mean, my sincere answer is
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: probably Strangers with Candy. I think Strangers with Candy is
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: probably number one. But I feel like there's a bunch
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: of ties. It's like that. I love New Radio, I
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: love Futurama. There are a bunch of great shows, of
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: course from that decade, all kinds of wonderful programs.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: I don't know if cat Dog on Cartoon Network was
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: the two thousands. That feels two thousands, right that came
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: to mind for some right.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: We'll count it. Okay. Now let's answer a problem real
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: quick here. This is dearest bridget okay. And I don't
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: know if that was on purpose or autocorrect or whatever,
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: but I'm insulted either way and shameful guest. My step
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: mom was at my house before going on a vacation
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: and asked if I had any good books she could borrow,
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: and said she promises she'd give it back. It's been
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: over a year and she hasn't returned to the book.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: I asked her if she ever finished it, and she
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: said she accidentally left it on the plane and that
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: she'd get me a replacement copy. That was months ago.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: I want my book back because I really liked the book,
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: and it's the principle of it all. How do I
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: get her to get my book? Many thanks? And that's casey,
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: step mom trouble.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: How do you get your book back?
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: How do you get the book back?
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: So she said she would replace it, and she has not.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: And she left it on the plane. She would get
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: it back, come hell or high water, and it hasn't
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: come back to her yet, So how do you? I mean,
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: my mind immediately goes to the ultimate lender of books
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: is the library. Yes, what happens when you don't return
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: the book to the library, they start to find you. Yes,
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: when you don't pay the fine, what happens They call collections.
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: That may or may not be true, but that's where
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: my mind goes.
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: I still have a UCLA book that I have from
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: going there destroying email recently, and I was like, what
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: do you have on me?
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: Your credit is negative fifty?
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Oh give me a bad grade five years later, six
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: years later.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: So I mean, now you know, when I think library
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: calling collections on you, maybe the repo man is now
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: driving away in your car. Yeah why not? Why not
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: you care? Yes? Stepmom?
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: Stepmom? So sorry?
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: Or your mother in law? You just have that sense
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: of play we're all talking about. That's all about.
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: I heard her leaving it on the plane. I went,
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: that's a mother in.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: Law, that's a real mother, and that's got it.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Got it.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know how you call collections on somebody,
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: or if that's something you have to do through official channels,
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: or if you just fill out a report, but to
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: destroy this woman's credit and maybe have her car repode
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: or yeah TV taken take to Reddit, take to Reddit.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: There we go kind of just docs air complete.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: I don't know what you do in a way that's
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: like get.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: How many times do I have to ask you?
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: Like for Christmas? Do you get her the book again?
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: And go? Now, make this right, give it to me.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: That's not a bad idea. But then you pay for it.
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: I know, and that's not the right thing. But then
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: do you get the satisfaction of seeing her know that
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: she messed up and you paid for it and fixed
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: her problem.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: But you're right, it's the principle of.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: It, principle of it, and this person's out of control
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: and irresponsible. I you know, Ultimately, I think the most
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: you can do is take some money from her wallet
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: and just and then buy yourself the book. Treat yourself
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: with the fifty dollars you took out a stepmom's wallet.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Go into her wallet. But it's your money.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: It is your money.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: Find out however much that book is goes for right now?
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: Yes, okay, And whatever money she's holding that is that amount,
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: that's your money.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: And maybe a little money for ice cream, a little
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: something for the drive home.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I get something for the drive home.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: And then the step mom will hopefully learn her lesson.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: If she doesn't, Dad can divorce her. He's done it before,
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: I'll do it again. That's all I'm saying. Well, Casey,
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: there you got the perfect answer. Don't write back in Wow,
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Well we've got this gorgeous cake. I have these beautiful paintings.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: I'm so thrilled about them. I'm so thrulled that you're
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: coming out into the light. You're bringing your hobby into
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: the light. I think that's a genuinely terrifying thing to do. Yeah,
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: if I had ever done any if I had any
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: skill or hobby that I was able to present to
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: other people, I just couldn't do it.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: Especially when you want it to be private.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: Yes, when you want it to be a deeply private
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: affair and then you blow it out publicly.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: Then it feels weird to throw it away.
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: Oh yeah, And it feels weird to genuinely give to someone, right,
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: So why.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Not genuinely giving a piece of your art to somebody
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: that seems that's like writing a song about somebody.
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: That's like a self portrait, a little bit.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a little What are you doing now? Our
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: relationship is what? Wait you think for that? Good of friends?
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: Someone painted my face and their face together and gave
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: it to me once and true. Yeah, an old boyfriend.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: Oh it's over, it's done, walk it up.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: No, thank you, noodank.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: You and I looked ugly in it.
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: At least give me big and knockers.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Well, I've had a wonderful time with you.
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: Thank you for having me. I'm sorry about this.
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: Thank you for the apology. Listener, The podcast is over.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: If you have some cake, do with that what you want.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Go do something nice for yourself, get your dad to
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: divorce your step mom. I don't know. The podcast is over.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: I love you, goodbye. I said No Gifts is an

- 1:25:04Speaker 2: the gifts.
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: But I invited you, hear.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Thought. I made myself perfectly clear.
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: But you're a.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: Guess to my home.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: You gotta come to me empty, and I said, no guests.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Your own presences presents enough. I already had too much stuff,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: So how did you dare to surbey me?
