- 0:00I don't think the manipulation of gold and silver in the West
- 0:03is going to end until the dollar ends.
- 0:10Today, we're joined by our special guest, Mr. Pat Holland
- 0:14from the Missouri Freedom Initiative.
- 0:16We're going to talk about recent developments in the world, what
- 0:20that could mean for the silver price, the gold price.
- 0:23Of course, we'll even focus on the silver price halfway through
- 0:27this video. And we're going to talk about
- 0:29very important developments within the legislative movement
- 0:34that's going on across the country in many individual
- 0:37states to help citizens reclaim their right to use silver and
- 0:41gold as legal tender. Pat, welcome back to Ron's
- 0:44basement. Ron, thank you so much.
- 0:46It's been a minute. And I missed you, buddy.
- 0:48I missed you so much. Look at this solidarity here.
- 0:51Red shirt, red shirt. Look at this.
- 0:53Oh, yes. Yes.
- 0:53Thank you, yeah. Oh yeah, So and you know, 5:00
- 0:57Shadow. Yep.
- 0:58Normally I'm clean shaven. Look at this.
- 1:00So this is an honor of you, Ron, in solidarity, man.
- 1:03And also also in support of anyone who has ever guest
- 1:06starred on Star Trek and been on an away mission.
- 1:09This is a forgotten demographic. I think we need to rope them in
- 1:12and bring them into the Silver and gold network.
- 1:14And by the way, the silver or, I'm sorry, the gold bear and the
- 1:17platinum bear might need a red shirt too, because we're
- 1:20starting to get chilly in the mornings here in Missouri.
- 1:23Yeah, well, yeah, well, the, the, the, the, the Silver Bear
- 1:26just whispered in my ear that Pat Holland gets better looking
- 1:29every time we see him. So, oh boy.
- 1:32So you can't even see, you know? So I'm not sure we can.
- 1:35Trust this. Oh, boy.
- 1:38I was just exposed. OK, yeah.
- 1:41So I have a I have a question for you, Pat.
- 1:44Sure, buddy. Seems like there's so much going
- 1:46on in the world. I have a real simple question
- 1:49for you. Are Americans asleep?
- 1:51And I ask you that question because last week we got major
- 1:55news, maybe one of the biggest news stories of the decade,
- 1:58maybe of the century that the BRICS nations were expanding.
- 2:01They're adding six new right, expanding by by 6 new countries.
- 2:06Big news story including Saudi Arabia.
- 2:09And the reason I ask you are Americans asleep is because the
- 2:13next morning. I pulled up CNN to see what
- 2:16their coverage of this, just out of curiosity was.
- 2:19They had zero coverage. As a matter of fact, they had
- 2:22like 4 stories detailing different aspects of Donald
- 2:26Trump's mugshot. I thought, it's no wonder
- 2:30Americans don't know what's going on.
- 2:31They're not getting the news. What's the significance of that?
- 2:34And what's the significance of what's going on with bricks?
- 2:37You bet, okay. So let's start with the fact
- 2:41that what's happening in the BRIC nations is not getting
- 2:44exposure in the mainstream media.
- 2:46So let's start with that. Now we could talk ad nauseam
- 2:51about censorship. We could, you know, because
- 2:54that's a real problem we're dealing with in the Western
- 2:56world right now. And it's not just the United
- 2:58States. The censorship extends far
- 2:59beyond us. But the fact of the matter is
- 3:03Saudi Arabia becoming you're joining with the bricks and
- 3:07actually integrating in with the bricks is a big, big deal and
- 3:12you're only going to get this information from the alternative
- 3:15media sources. Why is it a big deal?
- 3:18Because that's the country that heads up OPEC and that's the oil
- 3:23producing nations and Saudi Arabia is the head of OPEC for
- 3:28several reasons. But at the same time people need
- 3:31to understand this is literally the end of the petrol dollar.
- 3:34There's two names for the dollar outside the United States, the
- 3:37Petra dollar and the world reserve currency.
- 3:41Both of those are inextricably linked and it's because of our
- 3:44deal with Saudi Arabia. We we really, truly have this,
- 3:48even though we got it with the the Bretton Wood Accords you
- 3:51know that happened in the, I believe that was 1946, maybe 40.
- 3:5544 I believe 44 Okay and that was in New Jersey, but that's
- 3:59because we had all the gold. That's the reason we got world
- 4:03reserve currency. How we kept it was through oil.
- 4:08So gang, this is big news. This is something that I think
- 4:14surpasses anything that you're seeing now with the circus in
- 4:17Washington DC This will affect all of us.
- 4:21This, in fact, indeed this will affect the entire world.
- 4:25So be careful what you're consuming, and be careful on the
- 4:28time that you spend consuming media and news, because some of
- 4:32the biggest, most important stories are going by the
- 4:36mainstream media without mention.
- 4:39Yeah, it's, it's interesting. And I'm going to get your
- 4:41perspective on this. And I think you know, me
- 4:43personally, I had no idea what the Petro dollar really meant
- 4:46until maybe two years ago. And I think that 99.8% of my
- 4:53fellow Americans still don't understand the significance like
- 4:56you like you described. And I heard somebody describe it
- 4:59like this that let's say just over the last, oh, 1520 years.
- 5:05Let's look at China, for instance.
- 5:06China manufactured a lot of products, right, and shipped
- 5:10them to the United States. the United States paid them with
- 5:13dollars. So I'm sorry.
- 5:15China, once they got those dollars, would typically do one
- 5:18of two things. They would buy U.S.
- 5:21Treasuries or they would use those dollars because oil and
- 5:25natural gas were traded exclusively in the Petro dollar.
- 5:29They would use those dollars to buy oil because they're a big
- 5:32importer of energy now. That's all been thrown out the
- 5:36window and that in that that previous arrangement allowed the
- 5:39United States to to borrow money right at a very low rates
- 5:43because there was demand for the treasuries.
- 5:45Now that's all been is that, is that a fair assessment of what's
- 5:48going on? I think so.
- 5:50And also, you know, I've, I've made a prediction that this time
- 5:53next year that the printing press will be wide open.
- 5:57And I should probably amend that by saying if dollars aren't
- 6:01rushing back to the United States from overseas because
- 6:04that itself will be a hyperinflationary event, you
- 6:07know as well, we can either print it ourselves or just take
- 6:10the dollars back that are literally floating around
- 6:13overseas. There's a lot of dollars in the
- 6:15system, Ron. I mean, you know this, and they
- 6:18are sloshing around, looking for investment vehicles and
- 6:21opportunities. But the fact of the matter is,
- 6:24if the dollar's not wanted for oil anymore or not needed for
- 6:27oil because OPEC has decided that they're going to take a
- 6:30basket of currencies instead of just the dollar, Boy howdy, is
- 6:34that going to change things for us in the United States.
- 6:37How you're going to know this is everything's just going to get
- 6:39more expensive? I meant it's that simple.
- 6:41And I, and I think a lot of people, including myself, don't
- 6:44realize oil is the lifeblood of the world economy.
- 6:50It is, it is the blood of, I mean, it is everything, not just
- 6:55energy, but oils, you know, everywhere, right, Plastics.
- 6:58I mean it is like everything so. This really is a seismic change
- 7:03that's going on and and you know we we know, you know, we know
- 7:06that the Saudis, we know that the the UAE, they're becoming
- 7:10closer and you know I mean they're joining bricks at this
- 7:13point. So what other demonstration do
- 7:15we need that they're now align themselves with China, with
- 7:20Russia, with India for that matter and and what the
- 7:24implications will be for the US dollar but but.
- 7:27You know, of course we don't hear about it.
- 7:29We don't hear about it on Fox News, we don't hear about it on
- 7:31CNNMSNBC anything. People just I think are are
- 7:36asleep and don't really understand what's going on.
- 7:38And let me ask you this question about silver and gold and
- 7:41platinum, any of the precious metals.
- 7:44Is there any scenario as you look at what's going on that's
- 7:48not favorable? I know you're not into making
- 7:51predictions for precious metals, but that mean doesn't this seem
- 7:54to set up a favorable environment?
- 7:56For silver, gold and and platinum for that matter.
- 8:00It does, but but also too, I'm I'm 51 years old and I have been
- 8:05into gold and silver for a long time.
- 8:07The manipulation never ends. Yes, we had a really big high
- 8:13back in 2011 and it did happen and it came back down.
- 8:16But it turns out that was a manipulated high and that was
- 8:20specifically, that was before JP Morgan took over.
- 8:23What's the bank they took over when they failed that actually
- 8:27was manipulating the futures just recently.
- 8:30No, they, they went under in 2008, but it was like, gosh darn
- 8:35it, Bear Stearns maybe. Yeah.
- 8:37Yeah. OK.
- 8:38So at any rate, so to go back and be more precise about your
- 8:43question, I don't think the manipulation of gold and silver
- 8:47in the West is going to end until the dollar ends because
- 8:51that's how they do it is through the dollar, through the power of
- 8:54the dollar. And I'm really sorry.
- 8:56I know this is going to strike folks, a lot of folks the wrong
- 8:59way that we're going to have some sort of victory on true
- 9:03cost, you know, true value of gold and silver before the
- 9:08dollar ends. But I just don't see it coming,
- 9:10not in the West anyway. But look, watch the bricks.
- 9:14The bricks will use gold and silver somehow.
- 9:17Or maybe it's just gold, you know, And and one more thing I
- 9:20want to throw out, and it's very important that people, you know,
- 9:24align with the thinking on this. Silver is incredibly important
- 9:29for industry. Gold is not.
- 9:31Now gold's important for industry too, but nowhere near
- 9:35as much as silver. Silver may, pardon me, may never
- 9:38be monetized again, ever, in any country because it's
- 9:43irreplaceable in many, many applications.
- 9:47So go ahead. Well, there's just some crazy
- 9:51statistics out there regarding silver.
- 9:53I mean and and from some reliable sources, right, like I
- 9:57read yesterday, I don't know Saxo Bank or one of the big
- 10:01banks was saying we could we could run out of silver by the
- 10:04year 2035 like the world could actually you know if these
- 10:08projections for solar and and other things that are you know
- 10:12developing in terms of the industrial needs for silver that
- 10:15that it's crazy. The situation and there's no,
- 10:19there aren't any mining companies exploring very few
- 10:23exploration initiatives for silver, very few mines being
- 10:27developed for silver. There's not a pipeline of new
- 10:30silver coming on online. I mean, it could be an
- 10:33interesting scenario that unfolds here in the next 10
- 10:36years. You bet.
- 10:37And if you talk to miners, exploration companies, even
- 10:42analysts like David Morgan, they will tell you the same thing.
- 10:46All of them are in lockstep with Johnny on this.
- 10:50Silver is manipulated so low, it is not worthwhile to explore for
- 10:54it. And I got to tell you too, I
- 10:56meant actually above ground, On ground, sources of silver for
- 11:04mining on land are drying up very quickly.
- 11:08I suspect the next major move for mining silver is going to be
- 11:12in the oceans and that will dramatically increase the price
- 11:16because it's going to be so expensive to do so.
- 11:18And that's if, of course we need it for industry.
- 11:21And and I got, I got it. I got to throw this in before I
- 11:24forget. And 30% of the world's silver
- 11:27now comes from Mexico. Mexico's becoming very mining
- 11:32unfriendly. I can vouch for that because
- 11:35I've had several of the of the companies that I own stock in
- 11:39have had major problems in Mexico.
- 11:42The other big key point is that a lot of the silver that we get
- 11:47now is a byproduct of copper mining, zinc mining and lead
- 11:52mining. And I heard where you know, Ross
- 11:54Beatty, you know, who's a very well respected, you know,
- 11:58executive in the precious metal sector.
- 12:02I've heard him as well as other top level people say that the
- 12:06new copper deposits that they're finding right, the world needs
- 12:10all this copper, the world. So you would think, Oh well when
- 12:12they open these new copper mines, they're going to get all
- 12:13the silver wrong because the low hanging fruit copper that had
- 12:18been mined and is still being mined now has a lot of silver in
- 12:21it. The new copper deposits are
- 12:23deeper and there's hardly any silver.
- 12:26Coexisting with the copper. So really, I mean, I know you
- 12:29love silver, I love silver. Can we talk one more silver
- 12:32subject? And then I want our listeners
- 12:34who are with us to know we are going to do an update on the
- 12:37Missouri Freedom initiative and the legislation.
- 12:40Pat's going to go into all that. But I got to ask you this
- 12:42question about Silver Pat too, because you you're you're a very
- 12:45smart guy and I love to hear your insights.
- 12:47And I know that all the people with us love to hear them as
- 12:51well when I think about the 1970s.
- 12:55And silver, right? We know that silver had some
- 12:58spectacular gains during the 1970s, went from like $1.30 or
- 13:02so all the way up to almost 50, I mean like 35 times from low to
- 13:06high. What?
- 13:08What? What?
- 13:08What intrigues me is that it feels like we are in a similar
- 13:13situation now. Stagflation.
- 13:16Geopolitical risk, the the countries, you know, our our
- 13:21fiscal and monetary situation in the country, like we're in a
- 13:24real similar situation right now.
- 13:26But I think could the argument even be made that we're even in
- 13:30a more extreme situation right now and that the setup for
- 13:33silver potentially could be even better?
- 13:36OK, well, I'll tell you what I'll Those are good points, but
- 13:40I'm going to throw some more into it.
- 13:43In 1980, you had the Hunt brothers, you know, actually
- 13:45starting to corner the silver market.
- 13:47They did nothing wrong. They did nothing illegal.
- 13:50They were seeing silver as an incredibly important asset.
- 13:53Now Fast forward to and and by the way, you're talking about
- 13:56silver at 50 bucks or right. So we almost hit that in 2011,
- 14:01but that was when the pig nations came up.
- 14:04You know, Portugal, Germany, OK, Spain.
- 14:11And I don't remember the I nation.
- 14:13What's that? India.
- 14:15Was it India? I don't, No.
- 14:17These were nations that were on the euro, OK.
- 14:19And so you're catching me early in the morning around my brain
- 14:22is still near. Hey, three out of four.
- 14:24Three out of four is not bad, Pat.
- 14:26You know we don't, we don't, we don't have, we don't have
- 14:28teleprompters to help us, right. Italy, Italy, If Italy, Italy.
- 14:32And there you go. The pig nations, they were in a
- 14:35very, very bad situation with the euro and it was looking like
- 14:40bank closures and the euro starting to die in in 2011.
- 14:45You saw Bitcoin scream up. You saw silver and gold scream
- 14:48up. And that was really the reason
- 14:50why. And so, but there was
- 14:52manipulation by JPMorgan because of they're they're going or not
- 14:55JPMorgan. Yeah, it was JPMorgan.
- 14:57They took over from Bear Stearns.
- 14:59So they're saying, well, yeah, we make a lot of money when
- 15:01silver goes down. Let's figure out how to make a
- 15:03lot of freaking money when it goes up.
- 15:05So they, they spoofed it and they helped it go up.
- 15:08I meant actually this has been proven, folks.
- 15:10I'm not saying anything here that is, you know, left to
- 15:13interpretation here. So at any rate, those events
- 15:17were happening in 1980. Hunt brothers in 2011 Pig
- 15:21nations JP Morgan spoofing. So but okay let's go back to the
- 15:27original question and and also the underlying currents for the
- 15:31economic situation or environment.
- 15:34When we we're going, we're in a recession right now.
- 15:37It's being papered over and this is nothing new.
- 15:40I meant you know this is how we do it now apparently.
- 15:43So in a recession, will gold and silver go up?
- 15:47You know, basically when the dollar apparently is not.
- 15:51So now we had to include the 4X market.
- 15:53So I'm going to take you one step further.
- 15:56Gold is exchanged on the 4X market because it is money.
- 16:00A lot of people don't know this, but on the foreign exchange
- 16:02market for currencies nationwide, when currencies are
- 16:05trading against one another, gold is one of those currencies.
- 16:08Just like the dollar, just like the rupee, you know, just like,
- 16:11you know, the peso. They're all in there with gold.
- 16:15Well, let me, I'm going to ask you.
- 16:18I did not realize that so gold is actually traded on the 4X
- 16:23exchanges. It is indeed.
- 16:25Wow. I didn't know that.
- 16:27Thank you, Pat. Sorry I interrupted you, but I
- 16:29think that I would imagine a lot of our viewers that may be news
- 16:32that's to me, that's significant.
- 16:34So thank you. Well, I'll tell you what, At
- 16:37least 2-3 years ago, the last time I looked into the Forex
- 16:40market, it was still exchanged there.
- 16:42Okay. So these.
- 16:44So gold is the real money, everything else is fake and the
- 16:47trades against it, I mean that's the way it works in the forks
- 16:49market. That's also part of the way they
- 16:51can make the dollar look better or manipulate the price of gold,
- 16:54whatever they're trying to do. So the dollar is still on top
- 16:59with all this stuff going on with the inflation we have in
- 17:02the United States. And boy, boy, how do you?
- 17:04Are we feeling it with, you know, basically not just
- 17:08everything costing more, but the threat to the digital dollar,
- 17:11the Fed now program is going forward right now, right now,
- 17:15right before our eyes. Businesses are being
- 17:17incentivized to drop the dollar, you know it, you know and then
- 17:20you can use your credit card or your debit card, but no more
- 17:23cash, please, or Federal Reserve notes.
- 17:27So that is happening at the same time.
- 17:30Now the dollar always seems to be on top despite all the stuff
- 17:34going on, Ron. And then you brought up the
- 17:35stagflation. Why is that?
- 17:38Why is it that the dollar is so pretty on the forex market?
- 17:42And that's because all currencies are falling at the
- 17:45same time, but the dollar, you know, is falling at the same
- 17:49rate as everything else. It's going to stay on top.
- 17:52But what it is, is a race to the bottom.
- 17:54Which currencies will hit the bottom 1st and it won't be the
- 17:57dollar despite you know the gold and silver community, a lot of
- 18:00folks think all the dollars just going to go away, the euro take
- 18:02over the Chinese you want or remember you know depending on
- 18:06your vernacular, you know will take over.
- 18:09No digital currencies will take over.
- 18:11The paper currencies are finished.
- 18:13So in my view based on how you frame that, I think that you
- 18:19know basically we have to I think readjust our thinking and
- 18:24that gold and silver itself literally is being forced down
- 18:28in those four X markets along with the paper currencies to
- 18:32keep the dollar looking like the shiniest turd in the box.
- 18:37And so I know it's a long answer, but.
- 18:41Pat, that is so. And I'm going to emphasize this
- 18:44again to everyone who's joining us right now.
- 18:46That is probably the cornerstone concept to why people own silver
- 18:53and gold, but also. Very hard to explain #1 and it
- 18:59can be challenging to understand.
- 19:01So I want to spend just a few more minutes talking about it
- 19:03and maybe I can confuse everybody a little bit more.
- 19:06But I think you did a great job of explaining it, you know, I
- 19:11think one way, one way to think about it is, and I want to get
- 19:14your perspective on this, is if I could imagine.
- 19:18All the gold in the world and all the silver in the world
- 19:21piled up right over here to the left of me in my basement,
- 19:24right? That's a finite, definite
- 19:27number. There's only so much silver.
- 19:29There's only so much gold. And then that's being compared
- 19:32to a pile of dollars and a pile of EUR and a pile of yen, right?
- 19:37Let's just use those three as an example.
- 19:39Are a lot of the other currencies in the world that
- 19:43that those those currencies are being compared to each other I
- 19:47think? One one thing that helped me
- 19:49understand this concept was if suddenly the pile of dollars,
- 19:53the pile of EUR, and the pile of yen doubled in size, each of
- 19:58them doubled in size, their relationship to each other would
- 20:01remain the same, right? But you can't double the size of
- 20:06the gold pile in the silver pot. You can't, right?
- 20:10Good point. But, but eventually, but
- 20:13eventually. Truth and reality went out
- 20:17right, I mean. You would think it doesn't.
- 20:20It doesn't feel that way over the last 50 years, right.
- 20:23But but eventually, you know you can only dam a river for so
- 20:27long, you can only hold a beach ball.
- 20:28But you know, they could quadruple the size of those
- 20:32piles of dollar EUR and and they would all still say, well, you
- 20:35know, the the the the relationship, the exchange rate,
- 20:38the dollar still the strongest, but there's four times more of
- 20:41that paper now, but there's still only so much gold and
- 20:44silver. But once again, we go into
- 20:49nominal confusion with this because the futures market, the
- 20:53futures market dictates to us that the Comex has 10s of
- 20:57billions of Oz of silver waiting to purchase by anyone, right?
- 20:44Does that make sense or did not confuse?
- 21:03That's where the paper futures market works. 10s of billions of
- 21:06Oz. In reality, they're struggling
- 21:09to keep. You know single digit millions
- 21:12of Oz in the Comex and that's the reality.
- 21:15So but the but their reality is papered over with you know
- 21:20basically high ratios in the futures market for gold and
- 21:23silver. How that ties into the Forex,
- 21:25you know, well they're doing the same thing with gold except
- 21:29silver is far more manipulated in the futures market than gold
- 21:32is. I mean I can tell you that
- 21:34straight up you there's probably guests that you could have on
- 21:36your shelf that would go ahead. I'm sorry you got you.
- 21:40You have me so intrigued here by this conversation.
- 21:42So, so the way they went with the example I made where you've
- 21:46got the pile, the euro, yen and dollar and they they they they
- 21:51increase those pile sizes by 4 right.
- 21:55In theory in a fair market that would make the value of gold go
- 21:59up by four times the way that the way that they or even if
- 22:03they increased all those piles by and and let's just use the
- 22:06four times example. I think in on simplistic terms
- 22:09you could say that's what they've done since you know
- 22:12whatever 19801970, whatever year you want to start at.
- 22:16The way they're able to, the only way they're able to keep
- 22:19gold and silver under control then is to create digital, make
- 22:22believe Unicorn fart dust, gold and silver.
- 22:26But paper, gold and silver? Paper, Paper gold, yeah, paper
- 22:30we will be professional. Paper gold and silver make
- 22:33believe digital fairy gold and silver and and that's how they
- 22:37keep the price of of of suppressed.
- 22:41I don't think they can keep it. They couldn't keep it completely
- 22:45suppressed, but they were able to achieve a moderate degree of
- 22:49suppression IS. That right, Yes, and the easy
- 22:53way to fix this, and it's been talked about quite a bit.
- 22:56For years is for people to stand for delivery.
- 22:59Literally physically say okay. Here's my futures contract.
- 23:04It just expired. I'm here to pick up my silver.
- 23:07Hey guys. I've got stories about that I
- 23:09meant there's lots of stories about that and and from people
- 23:12you know but and I won't go into their names but there's a lot of
- 23:16people. Peter Schiff by the way stood
- 23:19for delivery back when silver was shoved down to 12 bucks.
- 23:23Do you remember that in the futures?
- 23:25And Yep, And so of course, Ron, you and I couldn't pick up
- 23:29silver for 12 bucks. I meant even with the premiums,
- 23:32it was about $17.00, you know, for us to physically pick up
- 23:36silver when it was shoved down to 12 in the futures.
- 23:39But that was basically so banks could get out of their shorts.
- 23:43You know, that that's literally, that's the games they play.
- 23:46So if everyone stood for delivery, but they won't,
- 23:49because who are the buyers of these futures contracts?
- 23:53It's hedge funds and banks. They're playing a game.
- 23:57That's it. This is a game.
- 23:59How many people like you and I can afford a single silver
- 24:03futures contract at 5000 ounces? Very We could, we could, we
- 24:09could bind together some of the Ron's basement, the basement
- 24:12dwellers, maybe we could pool our money and see if we could
- 24:14get one of those big bars. You know, I have heard, I have
- 24:17heard from from several, what I consider to be very
- 24:21knowledgeable people in terms of that because it's, I think it's
- 24:25purposely made to be a bit complicated, right, The Commax
- 24:29and the LBMA and it is, you know, and it's really not.
- 24:32That complicated? Yeah.
- 24:34There's all the weird contracts they came up with, you know,
- 24:37because of COVID. Yeah.
- 24:39And it's, it's, it's like legal, legal terminology, right?
- 24:43You know words that they purposely make confusing that
- 24:46really aren't that confusing if you take the time to dig into
- 24:49it. But I've heard these the, the,
- 24:51the several of these people that that that know what's going on,
- 24:54saying that there is a lot of metal that is being sucked out
- 24:58of these Western exchanges and it's moving to the east, whether
- 25:02you're talking about silver or gold.
- 25:04So possibly and it's and it's like we started out this
- 25:07conversation with with the, with the with the world changing and
- 25:11the bricks expanding. And you know we've got you know
- 25:14the Shanghai Gold Exchange, the Moscow World Standard and other
- 25:17international markets that are that are going to start to buy
- 25:21competitively with the Comex and the LBMA maybe, you know, we
- 25:25don't make predictions, but but maybe at some point the, the,
- 25:30the domination by these Western exchanges won't be as extreme as
- 25:36it has been over the last 50 years.
- 25:41That's right. You know that could be, it could
- 25:40be. And go ahead.
- 25:43No, you go ahead. Well, and and to your point.
- 25:47You know, there might be price action because of exchanges
- 25:51overseas, but the LBMA and, you know the COMEX are probably not
- 25:55going to acknowledge that. But once you create a price and
- 25:59and and actually set a price for gold and silver in a nation that
- 26:03sets up an arbitrage situation, you know that anyone can take
- 26:07advantage of anyone, particularly if there's paper
- 26:09markets for that exchange. This is the danger on danger,
- 26:13Will Robinson danger. If these exchanges create
- 26:17futures markets and if they actually hit the ratios like we
- 26:21have in silver, the worst ratio I've ever heard of in the
- 26:24futures market was 525 to 1. So in other words, 520 paper
- 26:32ounces of silver covering the same ounce of silver that's
- 26:36being held in the Comex. So you could have 520 buyers for
- 26:40that single oz. You know, if they do that in
- 26:43their exchanges, I meant it's silver and gold is just never
- 26:46going to go up. Never.
- 26:48And so if they've learned how to manipulate the system, you know,
- 26:52the way the COMEX and the LBLBMA have been doing it for so long,
- 26:55then maybe, you know, basically silver and gold will just have
- 26:59to go up in value because of scarcity.
- 27:01And that's in that alone you know and and that's we have that
- 27:06situation right now Ron and it's called the premiums.
- 27:09People complain about the premiums with gold and silver.
- 27:11This is the free market literally trying to break
- 27:15through that manipulation price. That's why there are premiums
- 27:18and and and by the way, if you were stacking back in
- 27:2220/16/2017, even into 2018, there is a pretty nice situation
- 27:28going on. I meant at 39 cent premiums and
- 27:32that was because you know, basically it wasn't as scarce.
- 27:35It's getting much scarcer. Look at 2015.
- 27:38When the price skyrocketed up to $46 and some odd cents, how did
- 27:43the the free market deal with that situation And that was
- 27:47actually the miners had money and they started high grading
- 27:51the mines. They they were high grading
- 27:54everything. And by the way that creates A
- 27:56precarious situation to go back in low grade.
- 27:59You know the mines and and and by the way, for those of you who
- 28:02don't know. High grading a mine means going
- 28:04for the easiest, biggest Nuggets, if you will, of silver
- 28:08in the ground. Low grading is getting all the
- 28:10tiny tiny flakes and it's a different process, A totally
- 28:14different process. High grading is quick, short
- 28:19sighted, short sighted but leaching a mine with low
- 28:24grading. Is an expensive process, use
- 28:27lots of chemicals and it takes a lot of money to clean up after
- 28:30you're done. So those chemicals that are used
- 28:32to leach the silver out of soil, if you will.
- 28:36I mean it's almost like that. I mean I hate you should have an
- 28:39expert on how silver is mined high grade versus low grade.
- 28:43I think of your listeners would really enjoy hearing that, but
- 28:46also the financial differences between the two.
- 28:49And I'm sorry, maybe I took us off on the wrong track here.
- 28:51No, no, no, no, no. I just, I just wanted to mention
- 28:54when we talked about the Comex, I like to joke around.
- 28:57The Comex is like the the Walmart for precious metals.
- 29:00They like to do price rollbacks, yeah.
- 29:02They do all look out for falling prices and and people are always
- 29:07and and and for everybody listening, we're going to get to
- 29:10the gold and silver legislation movement very, very soon here.
- 29:13But people are always confused about this difference between
- 29:17registered inventory on the Comex.
- 29:20And eligible and I came up with we'll have some fun here for a
- 29:24second I came up with I thought was a pretty good analogy.
- 29:27I said if that means if the Comex were a Walmart, you know
- 29:31like Walmart has a big central warehouse where they store
- 29:34everything, right, Including and we'll just say silver as Ding
- 29:38dogs because our, our good friend of the channel coin shop,
- 29:41Chris loves Ding Dong. So at their at the Comex, I'm
- 29:45sorry, at the Walmart Central warehouse, they've got their big
- 29:47supply of Ding Dongs, right? That's the eligible inventory
- 29:51that's eligible, but it's not yet in the stores available for
- 29:55sale. The the Ding Dongs they have on
- 29:57the shelf in the store, that's the registered inventory that
- 30:00people could buy. But, but the important thing to
- 30:03remember is that registered inventory, right, those Ding
- 30:07Dongs on the boxes of Ding Dongs on the shelf, Walmart would then
- 30:12if they were the Comex, they would be selling each box 30 or
- 30:1540 or maybe even 300 times over through their website.
- 30:19Does that does that make sense? Yes, it does.
- 30:21OK, it does. Last mention of Ding Dongs.
- 30:24The squirrely stuff they do, I mean, it's really insane, but it
- 30:29at the same time, that's a great analogy.
- 30:31So you know folks, you know nothing is real in the COMEX.
- 30:36Nothing is real in the LBMA because the purpose.
- 30:40Of having futures for silver was once again and I don't want to
- 30:45get into politics or anything. Unions started with a great
- 30:48idea. They know an an actual honest to
- 30:51God great idea. But so did futures markets for
- 30:54gold and silver. They started with a great idea,
- 30:57but it's been perverted. Severely perverted in in my
- 31:00argument would be some that's happened with some of the unions
- 31:02as well. Yeah.
- 31:04And I love I'll wrap up with this on this subject.
- 31:06I love the fact that you brought up the premiums and you know
- 31:10people love to complain about the premium they do.
- 31:12You could make, you could make the argument that actually as a
- 31:16stacker of silver, gold or platinum, the premiums are
- 31:19actually your friend because that's that's the that's the
- 31:22pricing mechanism where to a certain degree we can see what
- 31:26the true market value of the metal is at any given time.
- 31:31You know premiums skyrocket and you know I get this question all
- 31:35the time. It's a subject of great debate,
- 31:38right, that that if the market, if we run into some economic
- 31:42troubles in the market goes down that we're going to see silver
- 31:44crash again right down to 16 or 12 like we like we talked about
- 31:49earlier and and I and I bring up the point that hey, you know,
- 31:53look what happened back in March and April when we had a little
- 31:56bit of a, a hiccup with this banking a big hiccup that got
- 31:59papered over the demand. The reaction now is so fast that
- 32:04that I don't think and and I know most people don't agree
- 32:07with me, but I don't think we're going to see like a big
- 32:09downdraft in the price. And even if we do, there's so
- 32:13many people that are going to come running into the silver
- 32:16market that the premiums will more than make up for any
- 32:21artificial temporary phony electronic paper price decrease
- 32:26that we might have. And.
- 32:29And to and to your point again, the premium is more reflective
- 32:33of simple supply and demand, not necessarily rarity okay.
- 32:38So everyone needs to understand that that's actually kind of a
- 32:41different section. Your rarity is much more
- 32:44accurately reflected in the newest nuismatic markets, but
- 32:49supply and demand is what's addressed with the premiums.
- 32:53So that is much more of a free market than what we have with
- 32:56the Comex. In fact, there's no such thing
- 32:57as a free market with the Comex. Everything's manipulated and
- 33:01people will challenge me on this and they're welcome to.
- 33:04And not that I want a lot of, you know, emails challenging me
- 33:08on this. I don't have time for that.
- 33:10But the fact of the matter is JP Morgan has been caught
- 33:12manipulating the price of gold and silver more times than I can
- 33:16even remember, and have paid heavy, heavy fines for doing so.
- 33:21So what about the Comex? Have they been caught?
- 33:23No, because the laws have made what they're doing legal.
- 33:28It's legal. And JPMorgan has cover being
- 33:32called an agent of the government.
- 33:34So they have legal protections for manipulating the price of
- 33:39gold and silver. Guys, you got us understand how
- 33:41this game works. I meant someone recently
- 33:43challenged me, saying Martin, oh gosh darn it, what's his name?
- 33:47Used to be a big silver and gold guy.
- 33:49Armstrong. Yeah.
- 33:50Martin Armstrong, you know, is saying that gold and silver is
- 33:53not manipulated, that it's just not manipulated.
- 33:57That is simply false. That is a false statement.
- 34:00There's so much evidence of this manipulation, but some of it's
- 34:03legal and some of it's illegal. Now the legal stuff is what
- 34:07Martin Armstrong will say. Well, it's not manipulated
- 34:10because that's legal to sell 520 pieces of paper all claiming one
- 34:16ounce of silver. It is legal, Ron.
- 34:19So I'm not saying, but it's legal and the Treasury lets it
- 34:23happen and let me, I'm, I'm, I'm interrupt you because I think
- 34:27that that's again another critical thing that I've never
- 34:30thought about. So thank you, Pat.
- 34:32Right. Just because it's legal doesn't
- 34:35mean that it's not manipulation. I mean it can still be
- 34:38manipulation and be legal. And on top of that the, the, the
- 34:42double zinger on top of that is there's also illegal
- 34:45manipulation going on and that's been proven by the fact that if
- 34:49our darn government could get convictions on these recently,
- 34:53these JP Morgan traders who are going to jail.
- 34:56You know that's just the tip of the iceberg in terms of illegal
- 35:00manipulation. But like you said, and that's a
- 35:02great, awesome point that I think a lot of the people join
- 35:06us right now may not have. There's also manipulation that's
- 35:09legal, and just because it's legal doesn't mean that it's not
- 35:12manipulation. That's right.
- 35:15So if we can remember that in in adjusting our thinking about
- 35:19gold and silver, the way I think of gold and silver and this is
- 35:23me, you know, I know a lot of people are watching and they
- 35:26want gold and silver to go up and they want to make money on
- 35:28their investment and everything. I don't think of gold and silver
- 35:31that way. I think of it.
- 35:33First of all, it's insurance. Number one, you know, do you
- 35:37have health insurance? Do you have car insurance?
- 35:39Why not money insurance. That's what gold and silver is
- 35:42it. It's really, it's money.
- 35:45It's money as well, but but it's insurance.
- 35:48But also, it's a great way to do savings.
- 35:52If you're looking to buy gold, silver, or platinum, do yourself
- 35:56a favor and check out Pin Becks, the online precious metals
- 36:00bullion dealer and sponsor of Ron's basement.
- 36:03I was a happy customer before they offered to support the
- 36:07channel. You'll find they have the best
- 36:09prices, quality, and service. I think Pin Becks is best, and
- 36:14you will too. And be sure to tell them that
- 36:16you're from Ron's basement. Gold and silver are real money.
- 36:20They always have been. They always will be the world.
- 36:23The big wide world we talked about this is, is is moving more
- 36:28toward rerecognizing gold and silver.
- 36:31Israel money individuals throughout the world and even in
- 36:35the United States growing number of people are like you just said
- 36:38realizing gold and silver are at minimum at minimum.
- 36:43This is the way I like to say it.
- 36:44At minimum are a great way to protect your wealth.
- 36:47There's some options that could come through, you know, that
- 36:50could be a very lucrative for people that hold silver, gold.
- 36:53But at minimum it's it's a it's a it's a great way to to to to
- 36:57store wealth and to ensure your wealth and to to protect
- 37:01yourself. Now we got the States and the
- 37:04United States right, a growing number of states over the last
- 37:07what, 5-10 years you are. I hope you're okay with me
- 37:14saying this, but a real warrior in particular for the state of
- 37:18Missouri in forwarding gold and silver legislation.
- 37:22How do you see that landscape right now?
- 37:26I guess we can talk about Missouri, we can talk about on a
- 37:28national basis, but what it's interesting that we have
- 37:32individual states, right? Kansas, Utah, there's a whole
- 37:36list of them that have passed legislation or are in the
- 37:40process. How do you see that developing?
- 37:42I mean, to me it's I'm real to me, you know, Andy Schechman
- 37:46says you, you look at the crumbs and try to put the evidence
- 37:49together. When I when I hear about states,
- 37:52this growing number of states moving to let their citizens
- 37:56reclaim their constitutional right to use silver and gold as
- 37:59money, to me that that that makes, that's very interesting.
- 38:04Well, and I hate to actually reframe it, but in some cases we
- 38:08have to, you know. Claw and scratch our way and
- 38:12we're not being let anything. I mean, we're fighting for it.
- 38:15And in Missouri is a great example, but there was one man
- 38:18that stopped our bill in the state of Missouri.
- 38:21His name is Dean Plocker and he's the speaker of the House in
- 38:24the state of Missouri. Other states got through without
- 38:28any grassroots movement pushing it through or with very little.
- 38:32So it's different for every state.
- 38:34We have a lot of corruption in Missouri, so we're exposing that
- 38:37corruption. That's what we do.
- 38:39But you know it it the best way to get rid of corruption is to
- 38:43have an honest monetary system. Period.
- 38:46End of story. I meant it's the beginning and
- 38:48end of of of freeing America from the yoke of the dollar
- 38:52because the dollar is used to enslave us.
- 38:54And I don't want to get into a big long thing about that
- 38:57because actually I can, I can filibuster, I can literally take
- 39:00over of how we're enslaved through the use of the dollar
- 39:04and how the world is enslaved by the use of the dollar.
- 39:07So taking what I said earlier. The, the allegory, you know,
- 39:12arguments for insurance or for savings is, is very, very
- 39:17important for people to understand because that applies
- 39:20to my thinking, even when it comes to getting gold and silver
- 39:24as legal legislation in the state of Missouri and indeed in
- 39:27any other state, and this is paramount when we know the
- 39:33dollar is going to collapse. Don't worry though, The Federal
- 39:36Reserve has a digital dollar ready to go.
- 39:38Ready to get all of us on it. But first thing they're what
- 39:41they're doing right now through Fed Now is creating a cashless
- 39:45society. We've heard about it for years.
- 39:47It's been threatened for years. We have for years been hearing
- 39:51all We're going to be cashless someday.
- 39:53That's happening right before Eyes right now, gang.
- 39:55That's the Fed Now program. That's what it's designed to do.
- 39:58Among other things. They say they're going to make
- 40:01everything much easier and make everything happen much faster
- 40:04through the Fed Now program. The Fed now is literally a way
- 40:07to literally get the cash out of the system.
- 40:10I ask you a quick question, your opinion on this Fed Now system.
- 40:14You know, I love my analogies, but is the Fed Now system like
- 40:20the infrastructure that the CBDC can be plugged into?
- 40:25And let me okay. Let me let me let me use this
- 40:28analogy for the for the listeners and and tell me if you
- 40:32think this is yet another. Unbelievably great analogy from
- 40:36Ron's basement, haha. But imagine if you if you live
- 40:40on the outskirts of a city and you paid $15,000 out of your
- 40:46pocket 10 years ago to build a well.
- 40:48So you would have your own water supply, right?
- 40:51And then all of a sudden one day, the city's expanding.
- 40:54And some trucks show up and they start digging your yard up and
- 40:57you go out there and you say, hey, what are you guys doing?
- 40:59And they say overlaying the new, the new supply, the new water
- 41:02supply lines throughout your whole, your whole neighborhood.
- 41:06And and you think, well, that's interesting.
- 41:09I didn't know that was going on. And don't worry about it.
- 41:12It's just, you know, just there for the future.
- 41:15We're putting new, you know what we're we're we're expanding the
- 41:18city water system to your neighborhood.
- 41:21And then at some point, cuz I think where I live in St.
- 41:23Louis County, it's illegal for me to have my own well in my
- 41:25yard. At some point you get a letter
- 41:27in the mail two years later saying you are now legally
- 41:30required to hook on to the city water system.
- 41:33You can no longer you does that. Is that a good analogy?
- 41:36That's an excellent analogy, and that's precisely what they're
- 41:40doing. And by the way, there's probably
- 41:42versions of the Fed Now program going on all over the West, all
- 41:47over the West. There's probably an Australian
- 41:50central bank version going on in Australia right now.
- 41:52There's probably a Canadian version going on in Canada right
- 41:55now. But it's all the same thing.
- 41:57Get the cash out of the system, go digital on everything.
- 42:01You know that's what they're trying to do.
- 42:03And by the way, you can, I'm on Twitter and I've seen people
- 42:07literally posting pictures on Twitter they're taking with
- 42:10their phone at businesses in their area saying that we no
- 42:13longer accept cash. You know, it's, it's happening
- 42:16again. And the banks are incentivizing
- 42:18the businesses to do this. They're somehow benefiting by
- 42:21going to the system. So who's incentivizing the
- 42:24banks? That's the government and the
- 42:26Federal Reserve. You can go to Six Flags in Saint
- 42:29Louis, the amusement park, and you can get into the park, but
- 42:34you can't use cash, just to your point.
- 42:37And the last year they've made it a requirement that if you
- 42:39want to buy anything in the park, you either.
- 42:42Load cash into this little card or you use a credit card, right.
- 42:45I mean it is happening. Yeah, it is happening.
- 42:48And I see it more and more in Saint Louis County where you
- 42:51know, restaurants or we're saying up no cash, you know, we
- 42:54don't take cash anymore. So I don't know what else to
- 42:59say. I mean, it's happening.
- 43:00And the fact that it that's a conspiracy theory, gosh darn it,
- 43:04Ron, if I had a nickel for every time someone called me a
- 43:07conspiracy theorist and then whatever I said, you know,
- 43:09actually came true. And that's only because I read
- 43:11the documents. You know, I read Fed now and
- 43:15like I said, that's a big, complicated program.
- 43:17But the end result is the same no matter how you read it or how
- 43:20many times you read it. It comes down to the same thing,
- 43:22getting rid of cash, period. And the story that is the
- 43:25purpose of Fed Now. Now it does other things too,
- 43:28but that's the main purpose of it.
- 43:31So, so go ahead. I'm sorry.
- 43:33No, I was glad the states are moving to help protect their
- 43:36citizens. What, what's what?
- 43:38What, what? What are you seeing in that
- 43:39regard? You bet.
- 43:40So the states need to actually acknowledge the fact that the
- 43:44dollar is being used to enslave the people.
- 43:48And the when you go to a digital dollar and you go to social
- 43:52credit scoring. Or in the case of larger
- 43:54organizations such as a state government to county government
- 43:57to city government, ESG, Environmental, social
- 44:00governance. So think of that.
- 44:02Is the Social Credit scoring for a business or for a government?
- 44:06Even though it's a city government, they can be
- 44:09controlled by the Federal Reserve and the federal
- 44:11government through their digital wallet and ESG.
- 44:15The compliance with ESG will be mandatory.
- 44:19You do exactly You don't. You run your business under
- 44:23these COVID rules. You run your business under
- 44:27these environmental rules. Otherwise we'll just shut down
- 44:31your wallet or we'll bring down your score, you know, which will
- 44:35reduce your ability to get, you know, discounts on the supplies
- 44:40you need to run your business. Because those guys you're
- 44:43partnered with, you're getting supplies from are also under ESG
- 44:47and social credit scoring and a digital wallet.
- 44:51And I can go into further that affect you and me more, but I
- 44:54think it's really important to understand that most folks are
- 44:57thinking about, oh, Social Credit scoring.
- 44:59We see this in China and it looks horrible that we don't
- 45:01want it here in the United States.
- 45:02What they're not thinking of is right now through Fed.
- 45:06Now we're basically starting to get the same thing with
- 45:08businesses that we will be doing business with if they stop
- 45:12taking cash. And before long, they'll have
- 45:14little cameras in their doorway like they do in China to, you
- 45:17know, get an image of your face to determine whether or not you
- 45:20can even go into that store because you have, you know, a a
- 45:23Social Credit score that's too low.
- 45:25You you've been denied access. You can't come in here.
- 45:28You know, you said something critical about the government on
- 45:31social media. Here's your punishment.
- 45:33You can't go anywhere for the next 30 days, but think.
- 45:36About it. You can't buy gasoline.
- 45:38You can't. That's right.
- 45:40That's right. Getting an airline ticket,
- 45:41right? Yeah, interesting, okay.
- 45:43So now let's do a big picture, Ron, before we get into more on
- 45:46legislation. The big picture is what if your
- 45:50state is under basically the same yoke because they have a
- 45:56digital wallet, They're also dealing in digital dollars.
- 45:59And ESG says they have to adhere to the these weird policies and
- 46:05procedures. And the World Health
- 46:07Organization is one that we need to be very wary of.
- 46:09I meant and not to. I'm get.
- 46:11I'm not trying to get into politics, but the World Health
- 46:14Organization has a lot of control over health policy in
- 46:17the United States. In the event of a pandemic that
- 46:23will be tied into ESG and Social Credit scoring, my friends, we
- 46:28this is not good stuff coming down the Pike.
- 46:31We need another option in our States and the federal
- 46:35government is not going to give us gold and silver.
- 46:37I mean, I'm sorry, I'm. I'm here to tell you right now,
- 46:40as much as I love Eric Thrasher and I've talked to him, he's a
- 46:43great guy and he is savethedollar.org.
- 46:47Not that I'm promoting his site or anything, but he was talking
- 46:49about gold backing the dollar. You know, that's what he's
- 46:52trying to accomplish. That ain't going to happen.
- 46:54The federal government is not going to go back or silver back
- 46:57anything. They want us digital.
- 47:00They want us under their yoke. They want us under their
- 47:02control. So the only way to do it is to
- 47:05reinstate silver, gold and silver.
- 47:07Yes, we can have electronic versions, you know of
- 47:09transactions for Golden over the the free market has had this for
- 47:13a long time. We can have gold backs.
- 47:14Those are really cool. If you've never seen a gold
- 47:16back, look it up, You guys are going to love it.
- 47:18It's like carrying cash in your wallet.
- 47:21Here, hold on one second, Pat. Sure, give me one second.
- 47:24Here this is an example of show and tell I might have.
- 47:29One, This is a gold back. Yeah.
- 47:31Yep. Yep.
- 47:32There you go. From Utah?
- 47:35Yep. Okay.
- 47:37So go ahead. So this is guys.
- 47:40This is much more fundamental than wanting gold and silver to
- 47:43go up in value. This is literally keeping your
- 47:46freedom, your kids freedom, your grandkids freedom.
- 47:48People who come after you, you know, basically will need some
- 47:52kind of freedom for transactions, and it won't exist
- 47:56with a digital dollar. There's no freedom there.
- 47:59There's tyranny there from beginning to finish, its
- 48:01tyranny. And for people who think all the
- 48:04government loves us and they're going to take care of us and
- 48:06they really do want what's best for us are fooling themselves.
- 48:10We have seen the manipulation of gold and silver, the inflation
- 48:15that we've been under, you know, which was, you know, because of
- 48:17all the the money printing under COVID.
- 48:20I meant honest to God, folks, I meant and then ratcheting up of
- 48:23interest rates, that's hurting everybody.
- 48:25They hurt us with the inflation and now they're hurting us with
- 48:27interest rates. They don't care if we're
- 48:30hurting. Let me let me, let me, let me
- 48:37throw this in real quick If, if, if people question whether or
- 48:42not the government's going to take care of them, look no
- 48:45further. I mean, it's actually really
- 48:33simple to see it. From my point of view, it's
- 48:35very. The government took care of a
- 48:47certain segment of the population.
- 48:49The government took care of the wealthy.
- 48:52The one. Percenters, Yeah, the one
- 48:53percenters, if you look back to, I mean, you know, let's just say
- 48:572008, for instance, and you look at the.
- 49:00The amount of wealth that's been transferred from the middle
- 49:03class, not to the lower class? No, it was all transferred from
- 49:07the middle class to the top 1%, top .5%.
- 49:11The numbers are staggering. And of course that's not
- 49:14reported to us on the CNN, the Children's News Network or Fox
- 49:19or any of the major networks, right?
- 49:21But the reality is. Yeah, the government took care
- 49:23of some people. They took care of the wealthy
- 49:26and they did. Sorry, I had to throw that in.
- 49:28No, you would be correct because my assessment actually didn't
- 49:32account for that And you were absolutely correct.
- 49:34The 1% are always well taken care of by the government.
- 49:38They get all the contracts, you know, they own the companies
- 49:40that get the contracts, they get the tax breaks, you know, they,
- 49:44they get well served by our government.
- 49:46But that proves one thing and if you believe what Ron and I just
- 49:49said, that the 1% or taken care of, we do not have a
- 49:54constitutional Republic. What we have is, you know,
- 49:57something much closer to the old definition of fascism or what
- 50:01people to call today, corporatism or mercantilism or
- 50:04crony capitalism. Pick your word.
- 50:07That's the government we have here today.
- 50:09And gold and silver does not play well in that environment.
- 50:14It it literally breaks that system.
- 50:17This is how you get your freedom back, folks.
- 50:19You have got to literally have real, honest to God money again.
- 50:23It will change everything for the better.
- 50:25And unfortunately, some of the things that we love, you know,
- 50:29like NASA. I'm going to throw something
- 50:30weird out, Ron. I'm going on a tangent now.
- 50:34NASA couldn't exist under an environment of of gold and
- 50:38silver is money. There's not enough money to send
- 50:40you know, stuff into space that way.
- 50:43But there's not enough money to fund our military either.
- 50:46It just ain't there. There's no money for entitlement
- 50:49programs under gold and silver. See where I'm going with this
- 50:52run. See, the way they expand
- 50:54government and get people under the yoke won't exist under a
- 50:58true monetary system. We can be freed by this.
- 51:02But the people go, gosh darn it, I I need my entitlements, you
- 51:07know? You know.
- 51:09Well, this is what I can say. If you do math, and I love math,
- 51:13if you do math for how much money you paid into Social
- 51:15Security your entire life, and if you did something else with
- 51:18that, for instance, put it in gold and silver as well, you
- 51:21would be much, much better off when it comes time to retire.
- 51:25I can tell you this, Look at the last 40 years, gold and silver.
- 51:29What was gold 40 years ago? You know, 200 bucks?
- 51:33That sounds about right. You know, in the $200.00 range.
- 51:37Now it's 2000, so it's gone up 10 times.
- 51:41And that's and that's within an environment where there's been a
- 51:44concerted operation to keep the the price down.
- 51:47That's correct. I need to throw that one in
- 51:49there. Yeah, right.
- 51:50Consider that. Consider that.
- 51:52Yep. But silver, you know, has done
- 51:54basically kind of the same thing.
- 51:56And then if you add premiums on top of it, you're doing even
- 51:58better. So this is the and and by the
- 52:02way and and I know it gets kind of political when I bring that
- 52:05stuff up and I'm trying not to do that even though we're in an
- 52:08environment of politics. We operate the Missouri Freedom
- 52:11Initiative. We operate in politics.
- 52:14I mean that's where we operate. But we don't do the right left
- 52:16paradigm thing. We just don't do it.
- 52:19It serves no purpose. We just try to appeal to common
- 52:22sense and the Constitution of the United States in in.
- 52:25Go ahead. Do you?
- 52:26You do. Is it?
- 52:28Is it a safe assessment? You don't do Democrat.
- 52:30You don't do Republican. I'd like to say this and you
- 52:33correct me if I'm wrong, but you do truth you.
- 52:36Do you do truth and transparency because transparency and the
- 52:40Constitution and the Bill of Rights, Yeah.
- 52:43Yeah, because Pat Holland and and and I and I failed miserably
- 52:47and talking about your organization during this, during
- 52:50this talk that we're having the Missouri Freedom Initiative, you
- 52:53do that work. Basically for free, right?
- 52:57I mean, you're you're, you're you, you do go out of your way
- 53:02to be very transparent. And what you're after is I'm
- 53:07going to say the truth, I guess in a nutshell.
- 53:10That's right. That is correct.
- 53:11The truth and also freeing the people.
- 53:15And. And it doesn't matter what color
- 53:17skin you have. It doesn't matter if you
- 53:19associate with Republican or Democrat, or if you think you're
- 53:23a dolphin. We don't care.
- 53:25Everyone needs to be served by the Constitution of the United
- 53:28States. Everyone needs to be served by
- 53:30the Bill of Rights. Everyone deserves and not only
- 53:34deserves, but has a right to gold and silver as money.
- 53:39Everyone and the And by the way we have it, it's it's beautiful.
- 53:43It's an Article One, Section 10 of the Constitution.
- 53:45But look at other countries, Ron, that don't have the
- 53:47Constitution of the United States.
- 53:49Look at India. We're gold and silver.
- 53:52It's part of their culture as how you save for future
- 53:55generations. Yeah, it's a big part of their
- 53:58culture. And in fact, basically I think
- 54:00it's frowned upon in India if you spend any of it.
- 54:03Yeah, you know, it's the inverse.
- 54:05It's the inverse of what we have in the United States.
- 54:08Like here we're the. We we are kind of the, for lack
- 54:12of a better word, the, you know, the the the rebels or the black
- 54:16sheep or whatever, right, Silver and gold stackers.
- 54:18Whereas over there, like you just said if you're a person who
- 54:21spends your silver or gold or maybe doesn't have it, you're
- 54:25considered you know a black sheep.
- 54:27You're it's a completely opposite situation.
- 54:30Yep. Because this is how you pass on
- 54:32your wealth to the next generation.
- 54:35Yeah. And we used to do that here in
- 54:36the United States, too. It used to be cultural here too.
- 54:40And what focus of that, the inclusion of the Federal
- 54:43Reserve? Yeah, yeah.
- 54:45Imaginary money. Imaginary money, right.
- 54:48I mean, look, I mean, this is, I mean, you know, whatever, it
- 54:55still blows my mind that you can convert this paper into real.
- 55:00At all. And that's because people are
- 55:02still accepting it. Faith and confidence is really
- 55:05the only thing that gives value. Ron.
- 55:07If you and I did not pay taxes in dollars, dollars would be
- 55:11worthless. It's not even about oil at that
- 55:13point. What gives the confidence for a
- 55:15country to buy dollars to to our, you know, exchange for
- 55:19dollars? May I don't know what the
- 55:20terminology is here in order to buy oil.
- 55:23It's because American, American people work for the dollar.
- 55:26They pay taxes in it. We fund our government with it.
- 55:29That's what gives. It's also a faith game, a faith
- 55:32and confidence game. So go ahead, Go ahead.
- 55:35Well, I'm gonna interject this cuz I thought of this based on
- 55:38what you just said. So, so yeah, right.
- 55:41Faith and confidence. Right.
- 55:43I've heard several people recently say that the biggest
- 55:46asset that our government has is the student loan debt money
- 55:50that's owed to them. Okay.
- 55:52And I've also heard several reports of surveys, right,
- 55:56there's, but there was a, whatever you want to call it, a
- 55:58three-year pause on people having to pay on their student
- 56:01loans because of the health crisis that we had in 2020.
- 56:05And then in October those paint, they're going to have to start
- 56:07making payments again. But that like almost 50% of the
- 56:11people that are surveyed are saying like I'm not going to
- 56:14pay. I can't afford it.
- 56:16I can't. You know, right, the, the, the,
- 56:18you know, real incomes have decreased by whatever 1015,
- 56:22probably more like 20 or 25% over the last year.
- 56:25These people are like, I'm just not going to pay.
- 56:27I mean, I'm not saying that's going to catalyze a collapse of
- 56:33the dollar, but what does that tell like people, it's like, you
- 56:36know what? I don't care.
- 56:37I'm just not going to pay. Do what you want with me, Put me
- 56:40in jail. I don't care.
- 56:41People are like. You know, it is based on
- 56:44confidence, but that confidence is fragile, right?
- 56:47And it's delicate. And I'm sorry I had to
- 56:49interject, but you just really sparked that in my mind.
- 56:52Like it is delicate. It is fragile.
- 56:55Well, and not to put too fun, I say this a lot.
- 56:58Not to put too fun a point on it, but the fact of the matter
- 57:01is under gold and silver that school, that student debt
- 57:03wouldn't even exist in the 1st place and and we wouldn't have a
- 57:08crisis. So the dollar allows for lots of
- 57:15crisis. Let me, let me, let me go ahead.
- 57:18Go ahead. But I got one more thing I got
- 57:19to say. But go, please.
- 57:20I'm sorry I keep interrupting you.
- 57:21Credit card debt. Keep an eye on that, gang.
- 57:24We've never seen it so high before.
- 57:27We don't have a good economy. People are living on debt where
- 57:30that's another crisis. And think about student loan
- 57:34debt. Think about student loan debt.
- 57:37We live in a country where. People go into debt, right?
- 57:42Enslave themselves basically so that they can get an education,
- 57:46so that they can enslave themselves further.
- 57:49I mean, you know, you know, I mean like, what?
- 57:51What? What a system, what a great
- 57:52deal, right? Go into debt so you can work for
- 57:55the rest of your life paying off the debt.
- 57:57That you got into so that you could work for the rest of your
- 58:00life. I mean, it's crazy.
- 58:01It's crazy. It's all headed up by Marxist
- 58:03professors in the college just to.
- 58:06I mean, they couldn't be more perfect.
- 58:08Anyway, you can't make this stuff up.
- 58:10No, it's crazy. I apologize.
- 58:13I've interrupted you several times, but you.
- 58:15Say things that spark me, that I just can't help myself.
- 58:18It's the red shirt. It's got to be what it is.
- 58:21Yeah, so. Go ahead.
- 58:24So let's move you know out of that arena into real quick, you
- 58:28know the the thrust, the drive, you know and also hopefully the
- 58:32complimentary move across the United States.
- 58:36Not a movement, a revolution of gold and silver legislation for
- 58:40all the reasons we talked about today.
- 58:42Pardon me again. And I think it's it's a good
- 58:46time for me to point out something that we're doing in
- 58:49the Missouri Freedom Initiative. Now we've got a new Webmaster,
- 58:52his name is Tom, great guy, Godsend actually, and he is
- 58:59actually in this is announcement I've made on another YouTube
- 59:03channel, but I'm making it here too.
- 59:05We're actually including forums in our website specifically with
- 59:10other states in mind. We need a central location for
- 59:13states that are running gold and silver and for the people who
- 59:16support that legislation in their states to come together.
- 59:19For, you know, anything from ideas to literally putting
- 59:25together a coalescing a group of people in in one place where
- 59:28they can actually get their people together to support their
- 59:30legislation in their state. And also it serves another
- 59:33purpose because of Ron's basement and the popularity
- 59:37thereof. During 2023 when we were running
- 59:40legislation in Missouri and Ron was kind enough to let us come
- 59:43on the channel and deal with him real time with the Missouri
- 59:46legislature in the state we both live in.
- 59:48By the way, I I as a result over a long period of time got
- 59:53thousands of emails asking questions, needing help trying
- 59:58to get it the legislation in their states.
- 1:00:00And that takes a lot of time to answer that many emails.
- 1:00:03And I believe every single person got an individual
- 1:00:06personalized e-mail back to them answering their questions or it
- 1:00:10providing the assistance they needed.
- 1:00:11But that's really, really tough for me to do.
- 1:00:14That takes a lot of time. If we have a forum and someone
- 1:00:18asked a question, boom, the answer can be for everybody.
- 1:00:22And that way we don't have to work it that way.
- 1:00:23So we're working smarter this time around in 2024.
- 1:00:28And we should have by the way, Ron, because that's, I know this
- 1:00:31is your next question. What are we going to have the,
- 1:00:33the final draft of the rough draft of the silver and gold
- 1:00:36legislation for everyone to see for the state of Missouri?
- 1:00:40Because we're kind of the godfather of this and I talked
- 1:00:43to Senator Igel's office yesterday and I'm pretty sure
- 1:00:46within two to three weeks we should see that legislation And
- 1:00:50we can post it publicly so everyone can see it and they can
- 1:00:54take it over to their state and literally start the basis of of
- 1:00:58drafting the legislation for their state, using ours as a
- 1:01:01template, a starting starting point.
- 1:01:04So that's a big announcement we're making and it's going to
- 1:01:08help everyone. And we're also going to have all
- 1:01:11kinds of resources on this website, all kinds of resources
- 1:01:15for people to go to if they need additional assistance.
- 1:01:18Or you know, basically the 10th Amendment Center is a great
- 1:01:20example. But also any YouTube channel
- 1:01:24that wants to carry news on what's going on, on the state's
- 1:01:28battles to reclaim their right to gold and silver as money will
- 1:01:32be prominently displayed in the website.
- 1:01:35Ron, I think you know who I'm talking about.
- 1:01:39It'll be my honor. I just can't.
- 1:01:41I think that is a great idea. This forum, because I can tell
- 1:01:44you from my community, yeah, it was.
- 1:01:47I know you were overwhelmed with interest, which is great, right?
- 1:01:50And I was as well. I just sensed it in the comments
- 1:01:54section. Emails that I got as well, many
- 1:01:56of which was easy for me. I just forwarded them to you, I
- 1:02:00think a central meeting place for people.
- 1:02:04To support each other in this cause and develop a sense of
- 1:02:10community within that causes a great idea.
- 1:02:12And I'll do everything I can on my end to help support it and to
- 1:02:16point people in that direction. And I I just get a real strong
- 1:02:21feeling in my bones that it's going to be a raging success.
- 1:02:24So I can't wait to see, you know, the final product and when
- 1:02:28I can then, you know, talk to my audience about going there.
- 1:02:32To learn to get support and to help further this cause that,
- 1:02:36you know, to help us, you know, reclaim our right to use silver
- 1:02:41and gold is real money. That's right.
- 1:02:43And also a limitation on the federal government that they
- 1:02:46can't go beyond silver and gold. We got the 16th Amendment out of
- 1:02:49that puppy. And also, you know, we just have
- 1:02:53to have confidence that it was ratified by all 50 states.
- 1:02:57That's another story altogether, Ron.
- 1:02:58We won't get into today, but but the website ismofree.org, it's
- 1:03:03the same website. It's been redesigned.
- 1:03:05We're doing it from scratch, from the ground up.
- 1:03:08And the forums are there right now, but they're in a somewhat
- 1:03:11of an embryonic state. They're being developed and
- 1:03:14actually that's going to happen very quickly.
- 1:03:17And I encourage everybody and also too if you want to get on
- 1:03:21the e-mail list, particularly if you are in Missouri, please get
- 1:03:25on the e-mail list. And because we'll and when we're
- 1:03:30in the legislative session, if you're not in that e-mail list
- 1:03:33and if you're interested in this gold and silver legislation, you
- 1:03:35are missing out because everything that we do is it goes
- 1:03:39out by e-mail and that was born run out of the censorship that
- 1:03:43we've enjoyed. You know, unfortunately for many
- 1:03:45platforms such as YouTube on our channel, many people have asked
- 1:03:49why aren't you using your YouTube channel.
- 1:03:51We've been censored too many times there.
- 1:03:53We constantly get strikes and even with the, you know,
- 1:03:56subjects, well, there's different than gold and silver
- 1:03:59subjects that we talked about, but we deal with other things
- 1:04:01too. And that has been something that
- 1:04:04has forced us to go to Odyssey. But also we're branching out
- 1:04:08into Rumble, I believe, starting this Saturday.
- 1:04:11So they know people want to follow what we're doing, but
- 1:04:14it's not all gold and silver. We do other things in the state
- 1:04:17of Missouri as well. But if you're in another state,
- 1:04:20you might want to pay attention to what the Missouri Freedom
- 1:04:22Initiative is doing. I think you might want to take
- 1:04:24some of our ideas and try to employ them in your states.
- 1:04:27And also, we have never claimed to be the smartest people out
- 1:04:30there, ever. If people have great ideas, we
- 1:04:33want to hear them. Of course we do when it comes to
- 1:04:36dealing with state legislation, you know, and and then how we
- 1:04:40actually operate, you know, basically.
- 1:04:43And once again, we're not right left paradigm folks.
- 1:04:46So we deal with even the Democrats.
- 1:04:47We deal with Republicans. We have Republicans that are
- 1:04:50just as interesting to deal with as Democrats and that's if
- 1:04:54that's just the truth up in Missouri.
- 1:04:57So but we want to deal with everyone up there.
- 1:05:00So that's thank you for letting me make that announcement
- 1:05:02because I think that will be helpful for all the states, all
- 1:05:06the states as particular ones that want to get gold and silver
- 1:05:09legislation done. Ron, this all started with you
- 1:05:12on your channel in February of 2023.
- 1:05:16You had only one carrying the news on what the states were
- 1:05:20doing, so I won't forget that and I hope hopefully the other
- 1:05:25people in other states will see you as a resource as well.
- 1:05:29I'm I'm honored that you said that and I'm flattered that you
- 1:05:32said that and you know, the the the, you know, I think the world
- 1:05:37of you, you know, most people watching will probably realize
- 1:05:41that you've done just a tremendous amount of work to you
- 1:05:45know help further this cause not just in Missouri but other
- 1:05:49states as well. So thank you, Pat.
- 1:05:52And it's been, you know, it's been great getting to know you
- 1:05:55and and thank you for coming on today.
- 1:05:57You're very intelligent and every time I talk with you I
- 1:06:01learn. I mean that's how we learn.
- 1:06:03And this even relates back to your forums that you're going to
- 1:06:06have opened up. We learn from each other.
- 1:06:08You know there, there there's, you know if I just stick in my
- 1:06:12own head all day long, the chances of me learning something
- 1:06:14new are almost zero. And when I'm, you know, when I
- 1:06:17or the people that are joining us right now have an
- 1:06:19opportunity. To hear from somebody else,
- 1:06:22especially somebody who, and I'm not trying to butter you up, it
- 1:06:25is as bright and well spoken as you are.
- 1:06:28It's a real opportunity to, you know to open some new doors and
- 1:06:32to see things a little differently and and that's what
- 1:06:35we're all here for to help each other.
- 1:06:37So I I can't wait to see the success of the Missouri Freedom
- 1:06:42Initiative, but also those forums is I really have a strong
- 1:06:45feeling that there's going to be a lot of people.
- 1:06:47Who get a lot of help and get a lot of growth from from that
- 1:06:51platform. Thank you for your kind words,
- 1:06:53Ron. I'm I'm going to disagree with
- 1:06:55you on being you know, me being real smart, but fake it.
- 1:06:59I totally, 100% fake it. But any rate I'll tell you what
- 1:07:03gang of 1 more thing. I'm just going to throw
- 1:07:05something out there. If you're in Missouri and if you
- 1:07:09want to partake in gold and silver, we're going to do our
- 1:07:11first knock and shock operation on January 9th of 2024.
- 1:07:16It's also known as Gold and Silver Day and we intend to have
- 1:07:20a very large presence at the capitol in Missouri.
- 1:07:24So if if you're inclined to do so, if you live in Missouri,
- 1:07:28mark it on your calendar, come join us in person in real life.
- 1:07:32These are really fun events. And then Ron, I I want to say
- 1:07:36one more thing and this isn't, you know, basically the mutual,
- 1:07:39you know, association here or anything like that.
- 1:07:42Your help and when we're up at the Capitol and you do a live
- 1:07:45stream and I can call you and let you know about a bottleneck
- 1:07:49we're experiencing up at the Capitol in real time and call
- 1:07:54you up and then ask for people to make phone calls has been
- 1:07:57very helpful. And I hope we can count on your
- 1:07:59help for that again to get this legislation, silver and gold
- 1:08:03through in the state of Missouri.
- 1:08:05I'll do whatever I can to help the cause and I and I want to
- 1:08:08point out to people to these knock and shock.
- 1:08:10Events are perfectly legal. It's your right as a citizen to
- 1:08:14go to the Capitol and and what? And correct me if I'm wrong, but
- 1:08:18essentially what you're doing is walking around the Capitol and
- 1:08:22talking, going to offices of different legislatures, which is
- 1:08:26there, that's what they're there for.
- 1:08:27They work for you, right. This is perfectly legal.
- 1:08:29It's actually, it's what it's what George Washington and
- 1:08:33Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson would want you to be
- 1:08:36doing. Am I correct in saying that I
- 1:08:38would think so. Yeah, and going and Abraham
- 1:08:41Lincoln can't forget about him and going to these legislators
- 1:08:45offices and presenting to them, you know, your thoughts and in
- 1:08:50particular, you know on the gold and silver legislation that's
- 1:08:54exactly what we do. So this isn't a rally.
- 1:08:58This isn't. You know, you know?
- 1:09:00There's no tear gas or anything. I don't want people to go, you
- 1:09:04know, this is this is a. Professional operation.
- 1:09:07I'm sorry. It is, but it's not corporate.
- 1:09:10It's very organic. So I'll develop a flyer and a
- 1:09:15flyer I I printed out myself and I bring up, you know, a big
- 1:09:19stack of these Flyers to hand out to the groups for knock and
- 1:09:21shock. And what they do is they go
- 1:09:23around in large groups and literally stuff themselves into
- 1:09:27a legislator's office, either a representative or a senator, and
- 1:09:32literally talk to the Silver and Gold bill and have a discussion
- 1:09:36with them. They want to get their feedback
- 1:09:37too. It's so it's not like we're
- 1:09:40shoving something down a legislator's throat.
- 1:09:42Nothing could be further from the truth.
- 1:09:44We're having a conversation and it.
- 1:09:47But of course, you know, there's like 30 of us and there's one of
- 1:09:50them, you know, so we have a captive audience.
- 1:09:53Make sure you wear your red shirt.
- 1:09:55Okay, that brings you good luck. Yep, Wear the red shirt.
- 1:09:58That's right. I'm going to get one of those.
- 1:10:00I'm going to get one of those fancy vests next time we're on.
- 1:10:03I have one on the bear for you, right.
- 1:10:05There you go. Yeah, I have a silver and gold
- 1:10:07Paisley vests that I wear along with ties when I go up to the
- 1:10:11Capitol for knock and shock. You know, of course, supporting
- 1:10:13gold and silver. But that's exactly what we do.
- 1:10:16There's nothing more to it than that.
- 1:10:17It's it's just we're going up in large groups and we're
- 1:10:19advocating for the Gold and Silver Bill with legislators and
- 1:10:24we're also giving them a print, you know, a handout so they
- 1:10:27remember us. It's kind of like a
- 1:10:29commemorative memorabilia for that legislator to remember that
- 1:10:33the Missouri Freedom Initiative was there to talk about the
- 1:10:36Silver and Gold Bill. So we have the, you know the
- 1:10:39information that we're conveying that day for that knock and
- 1:10:42shock operation in a very nice flyer full color and so.
- 1:10:47You know, you know. You know what?
- 1:10:48You know what might be an. This is just an idea that popped
- 1:10:50into my mind, but. What could be cool is if the the
- 1:10:53guys from Gold Back gave you like some gold backs that you
- 1:10:56could you know, staple on there or they wouldn't want you to
- 1:11:00staple on. But you know, so you can say
- 1:11:01here, here you go, here's a that idea may be employed and.
- 1:11:05Here's a gold direct contact with Alpine right now.
- 1:11:07But I'm and I'm talking to other people right now.
- 1:11:10So at any rate, that actually may be happening on the 9th.
- 1:11:14Oh, interesting, interesting. Thank you, Pat.
- 1:11:17It's always so awesome to talk with you and.
- 1:11:20You know, I I hope that you're a fan favorite.
- 1:11:24Everybody who's joined us today I'm sure has benefited as much
- 1:11:28as I have. So thank you from everybody in
- 1:11:31the Ron space, all the basement dwellers, including me.
- 1:11:34Thank you. Thank you, Ron, for having me
- 1:11:37back. And I remember now red shirt
- 1:11:40solidarity here Susie. I think this is going to
- 1:11:43continue on. You know, I think, you know,
- 1:11:45bald guy economics might come out of the red shirt next.
- 1:11:48And that, you know, we'll coin shop Chris.
- 1:11:50If he ever comes on the channel, it'll be red shirts and Susie.
- 1:11:53I mean, I hate to say it, but the numbers are not in your
- 1:11:56favor, Susie. Poor Susie.
- 1:12:01I'm going to let you fight. I'm going to let you fight that
- 1:12:03battle, my friend. Yeah, I'm afraid, you know.
- 1:12:06Yeah, That's funny. Thank you.
- 1:12:09Yeah. My wife is, you know, you know,
- 1:12:11she's actually a black belt in three different disciplines.
- 1:12:14So I've kind of learned from her, you know, that be very
- 1:12:17careful how you tread. And so, Susie, I'm sorry for
- 1:12:20anything. I just said it, particularly if
- 1:12:22you're into martial arts. But I I will say one more time,
- 1:12:26the gold bear and the platinum bear are going to start getting
- 1:12:28chilly in the mornings here in Missouri.
- 1:12:30So they didn't need a red shirt, is all I'm saying.
- 1:12:32Yeah, well, that. You know what?
- 1:12:34There's a reason why I'm in the basement, You know, That's all I
- 1:12:37can say. Okay.
- 1:12:40Gotcha. Well, I'll tell you what.
- 1:12:41Yeah, I'm in a basement too right now.
- 1:12:44And Susie, we're going to, you know, politically, we're, you
- 1:12:47know, a big group here and we might have to start some kind
- 1:12:49of, you know, petition or even a demonstration to save the red
- 1:12:53shirt, you know? That's right.
- 1:12:55Save the red shirt. We'll see you soon, Pat.
- 1:12:58Thank you. You care, Ron.
- 1:12:59God bless you. Thank you.
