  three that I feel like have been the most viral

  and that are the most relevant to all of us.

  Okay, so the first is that

  internet users are calling out veneer techs popping up

  all over TikTok. So veneer tech talk is the
• 1:03
  latest side of the internet to go viral and for good
• 1:06
  reason because people are literally terrified of
• 1:10
  what's going on over there. Veneers
• 1:12
  have been popping off online for a couple of
• 1:14
  years now and veneer tick talk is this big side of
• 1:18
  the app where people share their experiences before and
• 1:21
  afters and even travel blogs to different countries
• 1:24
  to get these procedures. It's
• 1:26
  kind of like veneers at the moment are like the
• 1:28
  new BBLs in terms of popularity and content. But
• 1:32
  now because of this popularity, a new scammy
• 1:36
  profession is sweeping TikTok, veneer tech. So
• 1:40
  just straight off the bat, there is no such thing as
• 1:43
  a veneer tech. So when I say veneer tech and
• 1:45
  I call it a profession, I am putting that in big
• 1:47
  quotation marks here. The only profession that is
• 1:50
  legally allowed to give a patient veneers is a
• 1:53
  dentist. So that includes cosmetic
• 1:55
  dentists, orthodontists, but either way, you need to be
• 1:59
  a dental professional that has gone to university for
• 2:02
  years and years and years to do veneers. However,
• 2:06
  in the US, primarily, it seems to be like in
• 2:09
  Atlanta, there are all of these veneer techs that are
• 2:12
  popping up who are performing almost like
• 2:14
  surface level dentistry on patients and it is starting
• 2:17
  to go viral. But I will say it's going
• 2:19
  viral because people are like, do not do this, what
• 2:22
  the fuck is going on? Okay,
• 2:23
  so veneer techs, quote unquote, they take this two
• 2:26
  day course where they learn to basically glue veneers
• 2:29
  over top of people's existing teeth or gums.

  Going to a veneer tech is
• 2:35
  obviously much cheaper than going to a dentist to get
• 2:38
  like real veneers, which is why people are doing this.

  One of the biggest questions

  from users who are on veneer tech talk, which is
• 2:46
  my side of the algorithm right now, is how are they
• 2:50
  getting the supplies? Like if you're not a dentist,
• 2:53
  how are you able to order the materials and the
• 2:55
  supplies to do quote unquote veneers? But
• 2:58
  TikTok creator at Nishmad has been looking into
• 3:01
  veneer tech talk and she found that you can buy
• 3:03
  temporary veneers and the associated materials on
• 3:08
  Tmoo. So it's safe to say that
• 3:10
  being a veneer tech is not a real profession. And
• 3:13
  it's also illegal as far as I can tell. So
• 3:15
  I don't really know, like these people are promoting
• 3:17
  their services, their companies, their businesses
• 3:20
  all over Instagram and TikTok. I
• 3:21
  have no idea how they're not getting in legal
• 3:24
  trouble for this, but it's also incredibly unsafe and
• 3:28
  unhealthy. So if you look at many of
• 3:30
  the popular veneer tech pages, like on Instagram or
• 3:33
  TikTok, you'll see that for the most part, their
• 3:36
  strategy seems to be gluing temporary veneers over top
• 3:41
  of decaying teeth, gums with gum disease. Obviously
• 3:45
  they're not treating the root of the problem because
• 3:47
  they're not dentists. So they don't know how to do
• 3:49
  that. That is just a sepsis infection
• 3:54
  waiting to happen. And so many people online are
• 3:57
  saying it's going to take someone unfortunately passing
• 4:01
  away probably from an infection that they get
• 4:03
  from these like quote unquote veneer techs to
• 4:07
  actually implement any kind of parameters around what's
• 4:11
  going on and to really crack down on this new
• 4:14
  profession and industry. And while that probably is the
• 4:17
  reality of what it's going to take, hopefully because
• 4:19
  there are so many people talking about this and it's
• 4:21
  become such an amplified conversation on TikTok that
• 4:25
  there will just start to be some crackdowns on this,
• 4:27
  I don't know, industry profession, whatever. I
• 4:30
  don't even know how to categorize it. It's
• 4:31
  so scammy. Do not go to a veneer tech.

  That is not a real job. If
• 4:37
  you want veneers, first of all, everybody needs to
• 4:39
  just stop getting veneers like we're in such a
• 4:41
  veneer epidemic. Like I said before, it's kind
• 4:43
  of like the new BBL like we just need to like just
• 4:46
  rock your real teeth. Okay. Unless you need veneers,
• 4:49
  it's so much upkeep. It's so expensive. Nobody
• 4:52
  should be getting veneers in my opinion, unless they
• 4:55
  need them. All right, the next story that

  I have for you guys is that Emma Chamberlain has

  rejoined TikTok. So Emma deleted TikTok in

  2021, claiming that she was spending too much time
• 5:06
  scrolling her for you page and that having TikTok

  essentially just made her much lazier. At

  the end of last week, however, Emma rejoined

  TikTok without explanation. And

  there are a couple of theories as to why. So

  first, some people think it might have to do with

  Chamberlain coffee, her business. So

  Chamberlain coffee recently collaborated with Kendall

  Jenner's tequila 818 on an espresso martini. Clearly

  Chamberlain coffee is starting to make some
• 5:31
  really big moves, some big collaborations like
• 5:33
  collaborating with Kendall Jenner is massive. So

  it would make sense that Emma being on TikTok would
• 5:40
  be part of this kind of growth strategy for
• 5:43
  Chamberlain coffee. But the other theory, which I

  think is more plausible, at least for right now, is

  that it's related to the Met Gala. So

  Emma has done Vogue red carpet Met Gala interviews
• 5:53
  for years now, as we know, and the main sponsor of
• 5:56
  the Met Gala for the last few years has been YouTube.

  But this year, the main sponsor

  is TikTok. And this was actually first, I

  first saw this on Coco Moko's TikTok. So

  I don't want to take credit for this theory. She

  was the first person that I saw share this theory.

  And now it's kind of a widely

  spread theory. But yes, so obviously, if Emma

  wants to continue doing these Vogue red carpets, it

  makes sense that if TikTok is the main sponsor, the

  Met Gala and just Vogue in general are going to say,

  okay, well, you need to be on TikTok, like you can't

  just not have a TikTok account and still

  participate in such a visible way when the main

  sponsor is TikTok. So we will see how this

  interviewed his ex Daniel on his YouTube segment,

  Spill or Spiew. Joey asked Daniel who he was

  most jealous of during their relationship. And

  Daniel said, Connor Frantha. So

  yes, Daniel said he was jealous of Connor. And

  then he said, quote, but then I realized that he's

  the most boring person I've ever met. And
