- 0:15Today I want to start straight with a story when Jesus was on this planet, and it comes from the book of uh Mark, the fifth chapter.
- 0:26And I'm getting straight into it, and uh Jesus is in this place, it's called it's called Gadderens.
- 0:33Uh it was called Gadrens at that time, and it's uh today's Jordan, it's a place in Jordan.
- 0:42And the Bible says that Jesus gets off his boat with his disciples, so he's you know gone.
- 0:47Uh, for most of you who know, he's to travel from one place to the other, spreading the good news of the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, healing people.
- 0:59And there's this time when he sits in a boat and he goes across from the mountain that he's on to the other side.
- 1:04And the Bible says that the moment he gets off the boat, he meets a man with an unclean spirit who's living near the tombs.
- 1:15So the way I see it, he's probably you know reach the outskirts of the city through the mountain, or you know, at the back of the mountain, or maybe um since he's in the boat, clearly he's come from the seaside.
- 1:28And it's probably that part of the land where you know they would bury the dead.
- 1:34And the Bible clearly says that he comes across this man with an unclean spirit near the tombs.
- 1:42And the Bible says that no one could putting it put this man in shackles or in chains, as they have done that before, and the chains would be pulled apart, and the shackles were broken.
- 1:55And the Bible says, always, day and night, he was in the mountains and in the tombs crying out and cutting himself with stones.
- 2:10Wow, that must have been a really difficult situation for this man.
- 2:14And anyway, the Bible says when Jesus sees him from afar, he runs towards Jesus and worships him.
- 2:21Hallelujah.
- 2:24And he cries out with a loud voice, saying, What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?
- 2:31I implore you by God that you do not torment me.
- 2:43Then God uh Jesus says to him, Come out of the man, unclean spirit.
- 2:49And then he asks them, What is your name?
- 2:53And he answers back to Jesus, saying, My name is Legion, for we are many.
- 3:02Scary.
- 3:05And then he also begs Jesus not to put him out of the country, excuse me, and that there's a large herd of swine on the mountain that's there.
- 3:19So this man begs Jesus, the demons beg Jesus to send them to the swines that they may enter them, and Jesus gives them permission to do so.
- 3:29And the Bible says the unclean spirits entered the swine, the herd ran violently down the steep place and drowned in the sea.
- 3:41And the Bible says there were about two thousand.
- 3:47Wow.
- 3:53I told you, I'm just sharing a story from a time when Jesus was on this planet and I think this was um it's a very unique story.
- 4:05And it's not something that you know most people like to hear about, you know, somebody who's possessed by a demon.
- 4:12And in fact, this case is so different that this person is possessed by 2,000 demons.
- 4:19And I've already told the story to you, and I'm not getting into it.
- 4:22And it so goes on that, you know, the herdsmen who were taking care of the swine go and tell the people in the city what has happened.
- 4:30And the people in the city come out and they see this man who they knew was demon-possessed, who they probably tried to uh, you know, put in chains and shackles, and you know, he lived in the tombs and the mountains, and as the Bible says, he would scream day and night and cut himself with the stones.
- 4:48And now they suddenly see this man whole and normal.
- 4:53And the Bible says they get scared at seeing what Jesus has done, and they tell Jesus to leave the place.
- 5:04And without any argument, Jesus, the Bible says, goes and sits in the boat to leave the place, and the demon-possessed man goes after him because he wants to follow him, he wants to go with him.
- 5:20Obviously, he's changed his life, you should imagine, the kind of situation this man was in.
- 5:25And he begs that he wants to be with him, and Jesus, and this is the important part here, does not permit him to do so, but he says to him, Go home to your friends and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you and how he has had compassion on you.
- 5:44Hallelujah.
- 5:48Go home, tell your friends what great things the Lord has done for you and how he has had compassion on you.
- 5:57What a beautiful story for some of you.
- 6:03I know it's uh it's a life-changing experience, and I can tell you it was a beautiful, life-changing experience for this demon-possessed man from Gad Reens when Jesus walked into his life.
- 6:13I can't even imagine what it might be to have 2,000 demons around, and Jesus changes his life completely.
- 6:23Hallelujah.
- 6:24And today I want to leave you with this, and this is the crux of uh the word that I want to get into.
- 6:28And I have a short word actually today, but it's an important one.
- 6:32I want to tell you again, Jesus was asked to leave Gadderens, and he didn't argue, he didn't bat an eyelid, he didn't try and force himself onto the situation.
- 6:46And I want to tell you, the Bible says that he came to seek and save that which was lost.
- 6:52And he was traveling from region to region just to spread his the word of God, to spread the good news of the kingdom of God.
- 6:59He knew his work, but he never batted an eyelid when they asked him to leave Gadderenes, and he left.
- 7:08The Bible does not even mention him going back to Gadderenes, and that's sad for the city.
- 7:12But here's the beautiful thing.
- 7:15Even in the time when Jesus was asked to leave without a single word, when Jesus was asked to leave without even sowing anything about the kingdom of God or the kingdom of heaven or the good news, he has decided to just leave back one seed in the region of Gadderenes, and I'll tell you what that seed is.
- 7:39Jesus asked the man to stay back and tell the people that the Lord has compassion.
- 7:46Hallelujah.
- 7:49The Lord has compassion on you.
- 7:54He says it in the book of Matthew, the fifth chapter, the 19th verse.
- 8:01Go report to your friends, your family, the people that the Lord has compassion on you.
- 8:10Hallelujah.
- 8:12Hallelujah.
- 8:15He has compassion on you.
- 8:19He cares for you.
- 8:22He loves you.
- 8:23Hallelujah.
- 8:28And as I told you, Jesus was not allowed to do anything in the region of Gadderines.
- 8:32And I want to tell you it's not a city, it's a region.
- 8:35It's a big place.
- 8:37And though he was not allowed to do anything, he didn't force himself onto the situation or the place, he just left back one seed, the seed called love.
- 8:47Hallelujah.
- 8:50And what best example to leave than a man who was demon-possessed, known in the entire region, probably feared by most people, even while they were going to the tombs or the mountains, knowing fully well that there's this man that lives there.
- 9:06And he left that man to sow the seed called love.
- 9:12Hallelujah.
- 9:14And I want to tell you this beautiful day.
- 9:16You know, we've all had times, um, all of us have had times where we've had people leave us.
- 9:25Maybe some of you have even had times when people have asked you to leave.
- 9:32You know, people have turned on their word or their promise to you.
- 9:37Family, friends, relatives, spouses.
- 9:44Maybe some of you have had people give false testimony against you, which can leave you in a very low place.
- 9:55Maybe some of you have depended on someone or some people or a group with your life, and they have decided to leave you and go.
- 10:07But I want to tell you this morning, whatever your situation is, and you might feel lost because I know all of us at some point of time in this planet have gone through this.
- 10:19But I want to tell you this morning that Jesus has compassion on you.
- 10:24Jesus loves you.
- 10:26And I want to tell you there's a reason why he came on this planet.
- 10:31It's just one thing is to sow the seed of love.
- 10:36And we all know the meaning of love.
- 10:38And uh, you know, I told you I have a short word today, but um, it's important to understand we all have love on this planet.
- 10:45We love someone.
- 10:45When I say the word love, you'll have somebody who pops up in your head, maybe multiple people.
- 10:51So we know what's love.
- 10:54But I want to tell you that we have our love has a very different understanding.
- 11:01And God's love for you and me and all of us has a very different kind of love.
- 11:11Hallelujah.
- 11:12And I'll come to it from the word of God.
- 11:14Don't don't take my word for it, take God's word for it.
- 11:17And for some, you know, for some of you in this particular this particular morning, maybe you've been seeking love in another place, maybe you've been seeking love, um, I don't know, in another channel.
- 11:29But I want to tell you this morning that love is conditional, that kind of love that you are seeking and that you've probably even got and still not giving you the satisfaction you need is because it's conditional.
- 11:41And just as everything on this planet, God has said, it will melt and fade away and decay and rust.
- 11:54But I want to tell you that his love has always been there for you, and maybe you are pushing it away.
- 12:02Maybe that's not the love that you want.
- 12:04Maybe, as I said, you're going somewhere else to find that love.
- 12:07And I will tell you this morning through the word of God, I want to assure you that that love has limits.
- 12:14Whatever you're seeking, that love has limits.
- 12:18But God's love has no limits.
- 12:20Hallelujah.
- 12:21He's waiting for you with open arms, he's waiting for you to turn to him because his love for you is everlasting love.
- 12:31Hallelujah.
- 12:35I'd like you all to go to this beautiful book and the scriptures for you this beautiful morning.
- 12:39For those of you who, and by the way, all of us have gone through this in our lives, you know, where somebody we love has hurt us.
- 12:48And this is for you a beautiful promise from the book of Jeremiah, one of the most beautiful books by the prophet Jeremiah, the book, uh, chapter 31, verse 3 and 4.
- 13:02Jeremiah 31, 3 and 4 says, The Lord has appeared of all to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love.
- 13:12Hallelujah.
- 13:15Therefore, with loving kindness I have drawn you, and this is for someone, and I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt.
- 13:26Oh, you virgin of Israel, you shall again be adorned with tambourines, hallelujah, and shall go forth in the dances of those with rejoice who rejoice, hallelujah.
- 13:42What a beautiful passage of scripture.
- 13:44Some of you have a different version.
- 13:46Uh, I'm reading the NKJV, and it's just beautiful.
- 13:50And I'm gonna I'm gonna read it to you again from the book of Jeremiah 31, 3 and 4.
- 13:53The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love, an everlasting love.
- 14:02Therefore, with loving kindness, I have drawn you.
- 14:05Again, I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt.
- 14:10What a beautiful passage of scripture.
- 14:12Oh, you virgin of Israel, you shall again be adorned with your tambourines and shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.
- 14:23Amen.
- 14:24Amen.
- 14:25Hallelujah.
- 14:26I want to tell you this beautiful morning.
- 14:28For those of you who are feeling it, and I know you are feeling it, it's God's love.
- 14:34God's love for you is everlasting.
- 14:37God's love for you is unconditional, and with love, he's calling you to him.
- 14:45This beautiful morning, and that's what the scripture means.
- 14:48With everlasting love, I'm drawing you to me.
- 14:53And this, as I said, it's for someone, maybe it's for everyone.
- 14:57He will build you, he will rebuild you.
- 15:01The creator of heaven and earth will rebuild you.
- 15:05Amen.
- 15:09And with the sound of tambourines, you will dance and go forward.
- 15:13Hallelujah.
- 15:14You know, there's this time, and this is not even in my notes, but there's this time when you know, in the old testament, God's presence was in the ark of the covenant, and uh I'm sorry, it was it was man-made, but he had promised his people that his presence will be in the ark, and there's this time when David is taking the ark back to the city, his city, Israel, his country, and the city is Jerusalem.
- 15:43And I want to tell you that there's this time when he's bringing the city back, uh, the ark back to the city of Jerusalem, and he's dancing in front of it.
- 15:52And he's a king, and he dances in an undignified manner, the Bible says.
- 16:00As I said, it can have the meaning that you understand.
- 16:02I don't know the meaning of undignified.
- 16:04I have a definition of it of an undignified dance.
- 16:08I know what that's like.
- 16:10It's one of those local dances, hallelujah! And that's what this passage of scripture is saying with sounds of tambourines, you will dance and go forward, amen.
- 16:21Only and only, not because you've done anything, only because he loves you.
- 16:27Hallelujah.
- 16:30Hallelujah.
- 16:35Hallelujah.
- 16:40Some of you, this beautiful morning.
- 16:42As I said, it's it's only human and only normal to seek love in different places because we don't see God in our daily life.
- 16:53You see people in front of you, you see things around you, but you don't see God, you don't see the spiritual world.
- 16:58And hence we look for love in places which we can see.
- 17:01It's a human thing, I told you before.
- 17:03I've done it too.
- 17:07And there's someone you're thinking, or maybe a group of you who think that God has turned away from you this morning.
- 17:13I want to tell you through his word, I told you all the answers that I will give you will be through his word.
- 17:19I want to tell you this morning he hasn't.
- 17:22The world will make you believe that he has.
- 17:25That guy who comes to lie, steal, and destroy will make you believe that he has, but I want to tell you he has not.
- 17:45And here's your answer from the book of Romans, the eighth chapter, the 39th.
- 17:53Romans the 8th chapter, the 30th and the 39th verse says, For I am persuaded, hallelujah, that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- 18:23Amen.
- 18:24Hallelujah.
- 18:27And I'm gonna I'm not gonna read this passage of scripture again because this is one of those that you want to sit and you want to meditate on, because the words that are used in the scripture will encompass everything that ever has been, ever will be, and that will ever come, whether real time, or whether in the spiritual world will still not be able to separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
- 18:56Oh, hallelujah! For those of you who understand this, this will be a life-changing moment for you, just as that man in Gadderenes, whose life changed.
- 19:06The Bible doesn't even say how long he was in that state, but I can tell you his life changed the day he met Jesus, and that's the one seed Jesus decided to leave.
- 19:16Because he came on this planet just to sow one seed.
- 19:19That seed is love.
- 19:20Hallelujah.
- 19:23Nothing, I want to reassure you this morning, nothing can separate you from the love that God has for you.
- 19:31If you think it's not there, it's because you have shifted focus and that you are looking for that love in other places.
- 19:40I can assure you that because I've done the same thing at some time in my life, and we all do it.
- 19:47Hallelujah.
- 19:49Just as the ball is round, just as the fish are to the water, how the sun is to the earth, how the seasons are there to follow the plan.
- 20:07How there's life followed by death, and how the moon revolves around the sun, I want to tell you, uh, the moon revolves around the earth.
- 20:16I want to tell you, Jesus' love will never leave you.
- 20:24Hallelujah.
- 20:27Hallelujah.
- 20:28He will never turn his love from you, he will never turn his love from you.
- 20:34Never turn away.
- 20:36Hallelujah.
- 20:39This is for someone this morning, and as I said, I have a very short word because the Bible says God is love, just to let you know.
- 20:52God is love.
- 21:00Some of you can feel the presence of God and enjoy it because that's the reason why he wants you to feel his presence is because he loves you.
- 21:13So someone this morning you're feeling stuck, and I've come to the end of the word, but it's important.
- 21:19You feel like you're not moving in any direction, you feel abandoned and lost and alone.
- 21:29Feels like you're in a fix, a state of state of inertia, where you just can't, nothing's moving, everything's just there.
- 21:39I'm gonna give you a secret ingredient from the word of God, from the kingdom of the most high.
- 21:47And I've taken the secret from the incident of Gadarines just as he left one man, one notorious demon possessed man in the land that.
- 22:02One man with one seed.
- 22:16You've tried everything You've tried everything.
- 22:51You need to infuse love into that situation.
- 22:59I can give you the ingredient, but I can't give you something to do with it.
- 23:04That's on you.
- 23:05And this is the ingredient abide.
- 23:08Faith, hope, and love are these three.
- 23:12The greatest of these is love.
- 23:16Oh, hallelujah.
- 23:17I want to tell you the entire kingdom of God balances on love.
- 23:23Your life on this planet, your redemption, your salvation was an act of love.
- 23:31Everything else follows after that.
- 23:33And this passage of scripture encompasses the whole Bible, if you ask me.
- 23:39Because if you ask me, hope equals faith.
- 23:43And the this passage of scripture is calling out faith and hope.
- 23:46You can only hope in God, and you can only have faith in God.
- 23:50But yet, in all these, the greatest of these is love.
- 23:55I can assure you, Gadderenes would have been saved because of that one man.
- 24:02The Bible doesn't mention Jesus going back to Gadderines, but I'm if Jesus left that seed, that seed will grow.
- 24:11Hallelujah.
- 24:12Some of you know what I mean.
- 24:13And this beautiful morning, as I said, I don't know what your situation is, but maybe you need to infuse love into that situation.
- 24:20You've tried everything and nothing has worked.
- 24:23And this beautiful morning, I'm here to tell you love will work.
- 24:28It's the only thing that works.
- 24:31Go and infuse love into that situation.
- 24:33I don't know what it is.
- 24:34I don't know how you're gonna do it.
- 24:36And as I said, I'm not here to tell you how to do it.
- 24:38I'm here to give you the ingredient to the secret sauce in life.
- 24:42Hallelujah.
- 24:44Hallelujah.
- 24:48Remember, he came on this planet, he gave up his life on a cross for you and me.
- 24:56He was beaten, he was scourged, he was pierced.
- 25:04They put a crown of thorns on his head.
- 25:07They spat on him.
- 25:12They took a reed and they beat him with it.
- 25:16They put a cross on his back and made him carry it.
- 25:21And then they hung him to that cross.
- 25:28That's how much God loves you.
- 25:30And I want to tell you this beautiful morning, wherever, in whatever corner you're going for and looking for it, you will only find it in Jesus because he loves you and he came down on this planet for the ultimate act of love, and that is to give up his life on a cross for you and me.
- 25:49He didn't have to do it, he could have sent anyone.
- 25:52He could have made something just to send it down on this planet to give up for us, but he didn't.
- 26:00He became that sacrifice, the ultimate act of love, and that's why I tell you this beautiful morning.
- 26:06As I said, through the word of God, remember he has compassion on you, he loves you, he has an everlasting love for you.
- 26:16Love that will never change, it's unconditional.
- 26:19It doesn't matter what you look like, it doesn't matter what's your weight, it doesn't matter if you've put on 10 kgs or you've lost 10 kgs, it doesn't matter if you're going through something, it doesn't matter if you have friends or not, it doesn't matter if your bank account is enough, it doesn't matter if you don't have enough of friends on Instagram or followers or YouTube or whatever you want to call them this day and age.
- 26:42He loves you unconditionally.
- 26:45Hallelujah.
- 26:46Unconditionally, unconditional love, and he will build you this beautiful morning, just leave it at his feet and bring his love into the situation because the Bible says God is love.
- 26:59And I told you, I don't know what you need to do for your situation, but I am giving you the answer today.
- 27:05Bring love into the situation.
- 27:10Maybe it needs for you to just pick up the phone and say, Hey hi, how are you?
- 27:14And believe me, the entire situation will change.
- 27:16Maybe it needs you to get up and go and ring someone's doorbell or knock on their door.
- 27:22Maybe it's a text.
- 27:27Maybe it's a kick message, maybe it's a WhatsApp.
- 27:32I don't know what it is, but you need to infuse love because the only thing that will work is love.
- 27:39This beautiful morning, don't be mistaken.
- 27:42God is not moved, his love for you is unconditional, he will rebuild you according to his word, and he will play the tamarind for you that you may dance into the streets of life.
- 27:55Because he is your father and he loves you.
- 27:59Hallelujah.
- 28:00I'd like to pray.
- 28:03Thank you for your beautiful word, Lord.
- 28:06Thank you for your beautiful presence that people can feel.
- 28:16Hallelujah.
- 28:19Hallelujah.
- 28:21Some of you can feel the presence of God tremendously.
- 28:24Enjoy his presence.
- 28:26It's because he wants to reassure you that he loves you.
- 28:32Irrespective of what you have done, irrespective of what you are going through, irrespective of who's around you.
- 28:42He loves you, he has made you, he loves you.
- 28:44Hallelujah.
- 28:46Thank you, Lord, for watching over your word to perform it.
- 28:49Thank you, Lord, for what you are doing amongst your people.
- 28:55Thank you for showering your love upon us.
- 28:58Thank you, Lord, for being faithful, though.
- 29:01We are faithless.
- 29:04And thank you, Lord, for some of us that you are rebuilding, that you will build us.
- 29:12And you will go ahead and make every crooked path straight straight, as your word says.
- 29:19Thank you that you rejoice over us with singing.
- 29:22Thank you for the tambourines that are playing.
- 29:25For us to walk into the streets and dance and rejoice.
- 29:30For you are our Father.
- 29:36Thank you, Lord, for the love that you've showered upon us.
- 29:39Thank you for being obedient to death and death on a cross because you love us.
- 29:44Thank you for taking up a curse for us.
- 29:50Thank you, Jesus, for your beautiful presence that people can feel.
- 29:54Thank you for your everlasting love that is unconditional upon us.
- 29:59Thank you for changing hearts.
- 30:05Some of you can feel a tremendous presence of God.
- 30:08Enjoy his presence because he's here to tell you that he loves you.
- 30:12Hallelujah.
- 30:13In Jesus' name I pray.
- 30:15Amen.
