- 0:00Speaker 1: Rich, today's national... One Hit Wonder Day. Oh, wow!
- 0:04Speaker 2: That's a big one.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Why don't we roll in some Hot Shell Ray later on? Oh, yeah. Wow.
- 0:09Speaker 2: It is also National Quesadilla Day, National Comic Book Day,
- 0:15Speaker 2: National Lobster Day, National Daughters Day, and National Roadkill Day.
- 0:22Speaker 2: And this one I think is interesting. Hug a Vegetarian Day.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Remember when it used to be Vegetarian or vegan?
- 0:27Speaker 1: I was vegan. Vegan. Remember? You were going through that
- 0:30Speaker 1: whole thing?
- 0:30Speaker 3: Remember that phase?
- 0:31Speaker 1: I did that for a year and a half. You
- 0:33Speaker 1: were pretty hardcore with it. It's Friday today. Bring it
- 0:39Speaker 1: on home. Bring it on home.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, guys, we're celebrating because it's Friday.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I saw my brother the other night, and he's celebrating
- 0:47Speaker 3: because he's about to go to Hawaii. And I was like, oh,
- 0:50Speaker 3: must be nice. And he was like, well, it is
- 0:53Speaker 3: pretty nice because me and my wife are getting... 80%
- 0:57Speaker 3: off to go on this trip. And I asked, how
- 0:59Speaker 3: do you get a trip to Hawaii 80% off? That's unholy.
- 1:03Speaker 3: And he said, well, we got invited on this trip
- 1:06Speaker 3: because they want us, because we agreed to sit down
- 1:10Speaker 3: in a 90 minute meeting for a timeshare.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Oh, they're going to end up with a timeshare.
- 1:15Speaker 3: That's what I said. I said, oh, okay. Everything I've
- 1:18Speaker 3: ever heard about, I've never done one of these before,
- 1:20Speaker 3: but everything I've ever heard about them is that those
- 1:22Speaker 3: salespeople are the most convincing salespeople. Like you can't say
- 1:25Speaker 3: no in these 90 minute meetings.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Kind of makes sense.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29Speaker 3: And then you're stuck in this timeshare, which everything I've
- 1:31Speaker 3: heard about timeshares, you have to literally get a special
- 1:34Speaker 3: lawyer to get out of, like it's a big pain
- 1:36Speaker 3: in the butt. And he goes, well, I'm not really
- 1:39Speaker 3: worried about it. And I was like, what do you
- 1:40Speaker 3: mean you're not really worried about it? He's like, cause
- 1:42Speaker 3: we already went on a different trip with them. And
- 1:43Speaker 3: I already said no in the 90 minute meeting. And
- 1:45Speaker 3: the same people, the same people said that he said, no,
- 1:49Speaker 3: it was like, I think it was a timeshare in
- 1:51Speaker 3: California and like wine country or something like that. And
- 1:53Speaker 3: then he said the same people after he said no
- 1:55Speaker 3: to them, then sent them another invite to try this
- 1:58Speaker 3: other 90 minute timeshare meeting in Hawaii. And now they're
- 2:02Speaker 3: going and he's like, I could definitely say no.
- 2:04Speaker 1: All you got to do is sit in a meeting for.
- 2:06Speaker 3: 90 minutes and you.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Get 80% off everything. You stay in the timeshare. Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 3: He's like staying. I think you said he's staying in
- 2:12Speaker 3: a hotel and it's like $ 1, 200 a night originally and
- 2:15Speaker 3: they're paying 200.
- 2:16Speaker 1: That's literally, yes. That's so legit and nice.
- 2:18Speaker 2: So what?
- 2:19Speaker 1: All you have to do to do that is just
- 2:21Speaker 1: be able to.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Hold your own and stand your ground and say no.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Don't be a pushover and.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You can get 80% off to Hawaii.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Most people probably cave on those things, especially if it's
- 2:29Speaker 2: nice to be like, But we should come back here.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Well, you're a sucker if you do that.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I'm with your brother. That's how they make their sales.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I know.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Because they make it sound like too good to be true.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Do they make you do other things? Like you got
- 2:39Speaker 1: to go horseback riding?
- 2:40Speaker 2: No.
- 2:40Speaker 3: He said literally a 90-minute meeting. That's your requirement. They
- 2:44Speaker 3: offer other things on the trip. But your only requirement,
- 2:48Speaker 3: I guess, is the 90-minute meeting.
- 2:50Speaker 4: So the salesperson from the winery thing that you went
- 2:53Speaker 4: on last time, they must have been like, I got
- 2:55Speaker 4: a hot one.
- 2:56Speaker 1: He was close.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:57Speaker 1: We got to invite this unfug guy. He'll probably go.
- 2:59Speaker 1: He'll probably go.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Like, would you like to stay in the wine country
- 3:02Speaker 2: and Hawaii at your leisure?
- 3:03Speaker 4: But you think about him reporting to management saying, oh,
- 3:06Speaker 4: you guys got any prospects?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Who you guys got? And they go, I got this guy.
- 3:09Speaker 1: He came to the winery thing, but I might be
- 3:11Speaker 1: able to get him a Hawaii.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Because I wonder if they have like a stat or something.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Oh, for sure.
- 3:15Speaker 3: That like you can't say, you can say no to
- 3:18Speaker 3: the first one. Maybe the second one, but by the
- 3:21Speaker 3: third time, you get him.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You're hooked. It's like he didn't fall for the what?
- 3:25Speaker 2: The winery one. Yeah, but once we get him on
- 3:29Speaker 2: our soil, we're going to do this trick. He's probably
- 3:31Speaker 2: ripe for that. That's why they gave him 80%.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Well, I know a guy similar to what your brother's doing.
- 3:35Speaker 4: There's a very foo-foo place, and the houses are really,
- 3:39Speaker 4: really expensive.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It's not timeshare. You have to buy a house at
- 3:43Speaker 1: this place.
- 3:44Speaker 4: And his son was celebrating his 30th birthday, And his
- 3:48Speaker 4: son wanted to go to this resort. And so he
- 3:51Speaker 4: called the resort and said, I'm interested in buying a
- 3:53Speaker 4: house here. And they said, okay. They had the verified
- 3:57Speaker 4: funds that he could pay for the house.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Oh, dang.
- 3:59Speaker 4: And then they put him up in his house for
- 4:00Speaker 4: four days for free. And he had to do a
- 4:03Speaker 4: tour of the property and do all that stuff.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And they stayed there for four days. And his son
- 4:07Speaker 1: got to play golf and do everything he got to do.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And then that was it. He didn't buy it? He
- 4:10Speaker 1: didn't buy it.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like maybe those foo-foo places do
- 4:14Speaker 3: that kind of stuff all the time, like prospecting. Like,
- 4:17Speaker 3: they have to sell it somehow. And how better to
- 4:19Speaker 3: sell it than to have you there on the property saying,
- 4:22Speaker 3: isn't this amazing?
- 4:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:24Speaker 3: And they probably account for all of the other things
- 4:26Speaker 3: that you're doing on the property, too, and paying for.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It'd be like when they go, we need to verify funds. Okay, well,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm out.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Yeah. There is no funds to verify.
- 4:33Speaker 1: We're not going to do that. Can't do that.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Are you just going to stay there?
- 4:36Speaker 1: We're not going to do that. But I mean, it's
- 4:38Speaker 1: a pretty smart move. It's like, you could live here.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Yeah, or you know what, John Jay, you could do,
- 4:43Speaker 3: what was that, oh my gosh, what was the girl's name?
- 4:45Speaker 3: We all watched the Netflix show and she faked her
- 4:49Speaker 3: way into like, she was coming into money. And that's
- 4:52Speaker 3: how she got her, yes, yes. Yeah, she just faked everything.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Maybe that's how you do it.
- 4:57Speaker 1: People gave her money and they kept comping her everywhere. Yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 1: very good. All right, so when's your brother going on
- 5:03Speaker 1: this trip and did the airfare come with it?
- 5:05Speaker 3: I didn't ask about the airfare, but I believe it's soon.
- 5:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 5:09Speaker 3: I'll keep you posted if he gets roped in.
- 5:11Speaker 4: My wife and I have some friends that have a
- 5:13Speaker 4: timeshare in Utah, in Deer Valley, and they love it.
- 5:18Speaker 3: They do? They actually use it?
- 5:20Speaker 1: They use it.
- 5:20Speaker 4: And I guess you could trade weeks with people or
- 5:22Speaker 4: something like that. So if it doesn't work out for you,
- 5:24Speaker 4: but they love it, which is, and I know my
- 5:27Speaker 4: sister is gone and she said it's fantastic, but it's
- 5:30Speaker 4: like something really foo-foo though.
- 5:32Speaker 1: That must be a different kind of thing. Like they
- 5:33Speaker 1: pick you up at the airport. They stock the fridge
- 5:35Speaker 1: with the food. Oh, wow. That is fancy.
- 5:37Speaker 4: So you don't have to whatever. I wonder if that's
- 5:39Speaker 4: what they're going to offer your brother. Because maybe that's
- 5:41Speaker 4: the thing about that. If you're going to go and
- 5:43Speaker 4: you're like, man, what a beautiful view.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's on the beach. Yeah, you get it for two
- 5:46Speaker 1: weeks a year. Oh, and by the way.
- 5:48Speaker 4: You tell us what you want, and we're going to
- 5:49Speaker 4: pick you up at the airport. We're going to fill
- 5:50Speaker 4: the refrigerator for all your food you want. You have
- 5:53Speaker 4: everything you need here.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Wow, that sounds great. Where do I sign? Don't send
- 5:56Speaker 1: me to that. I'll sign up for it.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I almost wonder if that's what they do. He said
- 6:00Speaker 3: no the first time, so now we have to give
- 6:02Speaker 3: him package B.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, if anyone knows this, call and let
- 6:07Speaker 1: us know, 877-937-1047.
