- 0:32Speaker 2: No.
- 0:33Speaker 1: And if you're watching on video, I am recording for
- 0:36Speaker 1: you at another location in the guest room at my
- 0:38Speaker 1: sister's house. And I just like literally everything was on
- 0:42Speaker 1: the bed. I threw it on the floor. And here
- 0:44Speaker 1: we are. We are. So you guys, this coming Thursday,
- 0:48Speaker 1: October 22nd, the day after the best day in the
- 0:51Speaker 1: history of time, October 21st. If you know, you know,
- 0:56Speaker 1: Keisha and I and Kimberly will be doing our Pink
- 1:00Speaker 1: Shade Live on the $ 10 level of Prime. And we
- 1:03Speaker 1: will be talking about our good time that we had
- 1:05Speaker 1: at Libra Fest. That's like the first time we were
- 1:07Speaker 1: able to all get together to do it. So that's
- 1:09Speaker 1: when we're doing it. So if you want to hear
- 1:11Speaker 1: about that, join on the $ 10 level of Pink Shade Prime.
- 1:15Speaker 1: That will be live on Thursday night, 8 p.m. Eastern time.
- 1:19Speaker 1: And if you're on those levels, Supercaster Patreon, you get
- 1:23Speaker 1: the email with the link. If you're on Apple, Ingrid
- 1:26Speaker 1: has a way to like put it in Apple. But
- 1:28Speaker 1: if you don't get it or can't figure it out,
- 1:30Speaker 1: send us an email. Ingrid. at pinkshadepodcast.com. Info at pinkshadepodcast.com.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Don't send it 10 minutes before because we're off email
- 1:40Speaker 1: at that time trying to get ready. But send it
- 1:42Speaker 1: between now, Monday, and Thursday if you're on Apple and
- 1:46Speaker 1: you don't have the link. Otherwise, you will get the link,
- 1:48Speaker 1: Supercast and Patreon. What else do I have to tell you, Keisha?
- 1:52Speaker 1: I was at Ole Miss this weekend. Hotty toddy, we won.
- 1:56Speaker 1: And got to see lots of people.
- 1:58Speaker 2: It was fun. Good. We went to see Somber last night.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Oh, my God. All your dreams coming true. How was it?
- 2:06Speaker 2: It was so good. We had like floor seats.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Scholar and I played a game of like how many
- 2:13Speaker 3: black people were there.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Oh, OK.
- 2:15Speaker 3: So so if it was like a black person who
- 2:18Speaker 3: was with a group of white people, it was one point.
- 2:21Speaker 2: OK. Scholar and I were double points because we were together.
- 2:25Speaker 1: OK.
- 2:25Speaker 3: There was two, three black girls together. So they got
- 2:28Speaker 3: three points. Jace was like, so what was like the total?
- 2:31Speaker 3: I said like seven points in total.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Cause I think the three black girls together should have
- 2:36Speaker 1: been double points. If you were counting a black person
- 2:39Speaker 1: with a group of white people as only one point
- 2:42Speaker 1: and the black girls together should have been double points.
- 2:44Speaker 2: They were triple points. Skylar and I were double. Okay.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I got, okay. I got you. I got you.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I got you. Okay. But it was so good.
- 2:51Speaker 3: He, I mean, there's no shits and giggles. He's saying
- 2:54Speaker 3: the whole time. Um, I was telling you earlier, I
- 2:57Speaker 3: have COVID. I didn't think we were going to be
- 2:59Speaker 3: able to go. But I got medicine in my system.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I'm like, we've been waiting for this.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You have.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So long.
- 3:06Speaker 3: And the doctor says, you're not contagious. And I'm like,
- 3:08Speaker 3: we're going to go. I'm like, I don't care if
- 3:10Speaker 3: they have to will me in here.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah. We're going.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I know. You really wanted to go to that concert.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I'm glad you got to go. Yes.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yes. And it kicked off our birthday week.
- 3:19Speaker 1: You know?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Let's go.
- 3:24Speaker 1: In the car, we were talking about my birthday and
- 3:26Speaker 1: Dave said, well, we don't have anything to do next weekend.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So why don't we get some people together for your birthday?
- 3:31Speaker 1: I go, I don't care. I don't care. He goes, yeah, well,
- 3:34Speaker 1: we've got to do something. I go, well, I don't
- 3:36Speaker 1: really care. I mean, on my actual birthday, he's getting
- 3:38Speaker 1: back in town that night at like 1015 and I'm
- 3:41Speaker 1: going to be knocked out with a foot injection that day.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So that's going to be my day. So I'm just
- 3:48Speaker 1: sort of like, eh, don't worry about it. And then
- 3:49Speaker 1: he reminded me that last time we were in France,
- 3:53Speaker 1: he bought me a purse and that was to count
- 3:54Speaker 1: as my birthday gift. I was like, not really sure
- 3:58Speaker 1: how that works, but all right.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I mean, price wise, I see where he's coming from.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yes. However, it does not count for this year.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 4:08Speaker 1: It was in May of this year. So anyway, I said,
- 4:13Speaker 1: that's fine. I don't need a gift, anything I want.
- 4:16Speaker 1: You know, I don't, there's nothing. Don't get me anything.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm the same way. I never ask for anything.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I don't want anything. If we want to go out
- 4:23Speaker 1: to dinner with my friends, like that's what I like
- 4:25Speaker 1: to do the most is just sit and have a
- 4:27Speaker 1: Cosmo and hang out with my buddies. So if we
- 4:29Speaker 1: do that, that'll be great.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I just want to go get a massage that
- 4:33Speaker 2: day and dinner and a steak. I'm good. I'm good.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I'm going to go get a massage the next day.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I did your birthday photo shoot though.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I can't wait to see it, Keisha. I'm sure you're
- 4:47Speaker 1: going to be incredible.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I can't wait to see it either. Kind of nervous. She,
- 4:51Speaker 2: she doesn't use filters or anything like that.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Oh, well you can apply it in post. I'm always like,
- 4:58Speaker 1: give it to me and I'll try to apply it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You don't need a filter.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I think I do, but she doesn't use filters.
- 5:04Speaker 3: She's like really about like capturing like a person's true beauty.
- 5:09Speaker 2: So I'm just going to go with it.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You look like a filter. Like, I mean, I was
- 5:14Speaker 1: just around you in person last week. I can tell you,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you look like a walking filter. You don't need a filter.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Oh, that's so sweet.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 1: You got nothing going on that we need filtering, girl. So, okay. Well,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I can't wait to see those pictures.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Me too. I'm nervous.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And if there's one that you want Ingrid to use
- 5:33Speaker 1: when she's promoting episodes and things, you send that to
- 5:36Speaker 1: Ingrid and say, from now on, use this picture.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Look, we did not do any of the things that
- 5:41Speaker 2: Ingrid told us to do. She gave us a list.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Of things.
- 5:46Speaker 3: And we just went to New York and balled out
- 5:49Speaker 3: and just sort of forgot what mom told us to
- 5:51Speaker 3: do while we were there.
- 5:52Speaker 1: A lot of good pictures were taken that she can
- 5:57Speaker 1: cut and paste.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Sorry, Ingrid.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. She should have
- 6:02Speaker 1: gotten together with Kristen and made Kristen do it. I
- 6:03Speaker 1: can't be in charge for everything.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Okay. Sorry.
- 6:07Speaker 1: All right. Let's talk about this depressing episode. And also...
- 6:11Speaker 1: I want to tell you guys, I did an interview
- 6:13Speaker 1: with Dr. S, Justine, and Michael, and it is out
- 6:16Speaker 1: today on the free feed. If you're on Prime, you
- 6:19Speaker 1: got it on Saturday. But I wanted to wait until
- 6:22Speaker 1: the episode aired that I discussed, because I'd seen it
- 6:25Speaker 1: on the screener and discussed it with them, but I
- 6:28Speaker 1: didn't want to put it out until the episode aired,
- 6:30Speaker 1: which is the one with Michael, which is this one
- 6:32Speaker 1: that he broke down. So it was a pretty timely interview.
- 6:36Speaker 1: interview because I had just seen the episode that aired
- 6:39Speaker 1: on Friday with Michael really breaking down. And then I
- 6:41Speaker 1: got to interview them. And if you guys didn't hear,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you know, they gave me 15 minutes to interview the
- 6:47Speaker 1: three of them. The three of them were sitting like
- 6:51Speaker 1: in front of a MacBook, you know, not near. So
- 6:55Speaker 1: the sound is not great, but that's just a lot
- 6:57Speaker 1: of times how this happens. And so Christina did a
- 7:01Speaker 1: lot of beautiful editing to make it better. And for
- 7:04Speaker 1: the people that are on Prime, I've gotten lots and
- 7:06Speaker 1: lots of comments saying that they thought it was great.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I mean, when I tell you 15 minutes, like, about
- 7:14Speaker 1: seven minutes left, five minutes left, you have three minutes left,
- 7:17Speaker 1: one minute left, wrap it up. I'm like, jeez. Damn. Okay.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Jeez. A lot of pressure right there. It's not enough time, but.
- 7:24Speaker 1: So you can go watch it on YouTube or you
- 7:27Speaker 1: can listen to it here. I would suggest watching it
- 7:29Speaker 1: because Michael does burst into tears. while we're talking.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Well, I mean, he's also bursting into tears, all three
- 7:35Speaker 2: episodes that we've seen of this show.
- 7:37Speaker 1: This man has been waiting for somebody to send him
- 7:40Speaker 1: to therapy so he could cry. I mean, God bless.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I agree.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Poor thing. So I'm thinking he's cuter and cuter as
- 7:47Speaker 1: we go, by the way, the sweeter he is, the
- 7:50Speaker 1: cuter I think he is.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I'm not saying he has good fashion taste. I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 1: saying the sweet, nor does his wife. No, they don't.
- 8:00Speaker 1: They don't. Um, Okay. Love After Lockup, Relationship Rehab, Season 1,
- 8:05Speaker 1: Episode 3, Breakdowns and Breakthroughs. Okay. So we open with
- 8:12Speaker 1: Justine crying and holding her bands. This was from last
- 8:15Speaker 1: week when they had to pull the exercise bands down
- 8:17Speaker 1: with all the writing on them with their trauma. And
- 8:20Speaker 1: she has told her story about what happened to her
- 8:23Speaker 1: with this other guy that I asked her about when
- 8:26Speaker 1: I talked to her if she was still in touch
- 8:27Speaker 1: with this guy.
- 8:28Speaker 2: No. No. Dr.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Ish says, I'm really proud of you. You know, not
- 8:34Speaker 1: a lot of women live to tell the tale, which
- 8:37Speaker 1: he's so right about that. Like that was horrible.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It would be her pretty bad. A lot.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And so, you know, the worst time for a woman
- 8:45Speaker 1: is when they're trying to leave. So I would one
- 8:47Speaker 1: day like to hear the story of how she just
- 8:49Speaker 1: decided to leave and got the fuck out of there.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Because that's got to be a great story, too. And
- 8:54Speaker 1: she should be very proud of herself.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 1: For safely getting her.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:59Speaker 1: For safely getting her and her children out of that situation.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Justine says, you know, I'll walk around with this every day.
- 9:06Speaker 1: It feels very heavy. And he goes, well, we're about
- 9:09Speaker 1: to get more heavy. Everybody, you're going to wear your bands.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And the talking head, Michael says, you know, I feel
- 9:17Speaker 1: like it's just not right for any man to have
- 9:20Speaker 1: done that, you know, to a woman, to a partner.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Dr.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Ish says, Trauma informs your opinion of yourself and how
- 9:29Speaker 1: you see and navigate the world. So look at your partner,
- 9:31Speaker 1: because now they're all together, and see if you have
- 9:33Speaker 1: any shared trauma, right? So they're looking like they have this,
- 9:37Speaker 1: they have that, that match. And he says, and now
- 9:40Speaker 1: we're going to have that shared trauma really, literally by
- 9:43Speaker 1: having a shared bond. You're going to tie yourselves together,
- 9:46Speaker 1: you know. Now the people that each put their exercise
- 9:51Speaker 1: band on their ankles, each had one and then tied
- 9:54Speaker 1: those together, they had more space. But the people that
- 9:56Speaker 1: put their feet into one exercise band together were literally
- 10:00Speaker 1: like in a three-legged race they could not do anything yeah.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And it kind of like gives you a scale of
- 10:06Speaker 3: smartness like who figured out how this would be easier
- 10:09Speaker 3: and the ones who didn't yeah and I don't know
- 10:14Speaker 3: why Alexis continued.
- 10:17Speaker 2: To wear those bands because On her head? On her
- 10:20Speaker 2: fucking head. It was at that moment I said, you
- 10:23Speaker 2: know what?
- 10:24Speaker 3: Maybe they are made for one another because they are
- 10:28Speaker 3: equally stupid. Now, she has a little bit educational smarts,
- 10:32Speaker 3: but they're both dumb.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Because why?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Every time we saw her with that stuff on her head,
- 10:37Speaker 1: I was like, this is very serious what we're talking about,
- 10:39Speaker 1: but we can't take you seriously.
- 10:41Speaker 2: No. And did you see the way he was looking
- 10:44Speaker 2: at her?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Listen, he's already got stuff written all over his face.
- 10:48Speaker 1: but that's permanent.
- 10:50Speaker 2: At that moment, I'd rather look at his face. I mean,
- 10:53Speaker 2: it was covering her eyebrows. It was going, I mean,
- 10:57Speaker 2: I was like, girl, you can take them off your head.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Everyone else is taking them off. Take them off your
- 11:02Speaker 2: fucking head.
- 11:03Speaker 1: You can do it around your arm. You know?
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Pretty funny. I agree. Every time I'm like, and she
- 11:10Speaker 1: still has those things on her head.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And I know everyone's just like, who's going to tell her?
- 11:15Speaker 1: Like, I don't, maybe she was trying to add some
- 11:18Speaker 1: levity to be funny, but it just like made the
- 11:20Speaker 1: serious situation like, I can't even look at you with
- 11:22Speaker 1: that thing on your head, girl.
- 11:23Speaker 2: No, it was crazy.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Y'all, everybody's got that thing in your closet. You know,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you always reach for it. It's your favorite jeans or
- 11:31Speaker 1: that sweater that looks good or your favorite shoes, those boots,
- 11:35Speaker 1: you know, that you love. Those are the pieces that
- 11:38Speaker 1: earn a permanent place in your wardrobe. And that's exactly
- 11:41Speaker 1: what Quince does so well. So whenever I come on
- 11:44Speaker 1: here to talk to y'all about Quince, I go and
- 11:46Speaker 1: check out what's in my cart. Well, right now, nothing
- 11:48Speaker 1: is in my cart because I already bought it, okay?
- 11:51Speaker 1: The latest thing I just bought, and I'm saying it
- 11:53Speaker 1: whispering so everybody goes and gets it before anybody sees it.
- 11:57Speaker 1: It's the wool cashmere tailored long coat. There's lots of colors,
- 12:03Speaker 1: but the one I got is a jacquard leopard. Oh
- 12:06Speaker 1: my God, it's so cute. I'm going to wear it
- 12:08Speaker 1: with like jeans and a black shirt and my new
- 12:10Speaker 1: Quince black booties. Perfection. So be sure when you log
- 12:14Speaker 1: on to Quince, you always go to that new arrivals tab.
- 12:17Speaker 1: That's where all the new stuff is. You know that
- 12:20Speaker 1: Quince makes these elevated everyday essentials using the premium materials
- 12:24Speaker 1: like Mongolian cashmere, and those sweaters start at $ 50. So,
- 12:29Speaker 1: they use the organic cotton that I love, the premium
- 12:32Speaker 1: stretch denim, and the designs are timeless and made to
- 12:35Speaker 1: be worn again and again. Again, these are the things
- 12:38Speaker 1: you always reach for. And as the weather gets colder,
- 12:41Speaker 1: Quince has everything you need to round out your wardrobe.
- 12:43Speaker 1: From warm, responsibly sourced down jackets and cozy cashmere scarves
- 12:48Speaker 1: and gloves, and Everything at Quince is priced 50 to
- 12:52Speaker 1: 80% less than similar brands. They work directly with ethical
- 12:55Speaker 1: factories and cut out the middlemen. So if you're paying
- 12:58Speaker 1: for quality, not that markup. It's luxury without the luxury price.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Quince has everything. They have furniture, jewelry, candles, gifts, skincare.
- 13:09Speaker 1: And I just noticed in that new arrivals tab that
- 13:12Speaker 1: they have Christmas jammies. It's really just a one-stop shop.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Find the fall pieces you'll reach for most at Quince.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Download the Quince app for app-exclusive offers or go to quince.com.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Get free shipping on your order and 365-day returns. Now
- 13:29Speaker 1: available in Canada and the UK, too. And when Quince
- 13:33Speaker 1: asks where you heard about them, let them know it
- 13:35Speaker 1: was Pink Shade. It's the best way to support the show.
- 13:40Speaker 1: The talking head, Michael and Justine are together. Michael's like, okay,
- 13:44Speaker 1: I might feel a little bit different about Dr. Ish now.
- 13:47Speaker 1: And Justine's like, oh my gosh. So all the couples
- 13:51Speaker 1: now sit together and they're looking at what they have
- 13:55Speaker 1: together to talk. So we see Brittany and Marcelino walking
- 13:58Speaker 1: really far apart because they tied their ankles really far
- 14:01Speaker 1: apart so they didn't have to touch because they were smart.
- 14:03Speaker 1: And they hate each other too. And so Kimberly sits
- 14:08Speaker 1: and talks to Joey and he says he has the
- 14:11Speaker 1: word betrayed on him because he felt betrayed by his
- 14:13Speaker 1: own dad because he had to sell drugs for his dad.
- 14:18Speaker 3: I was actually surprised that he even knew what the
- 14:20Speaker 3: definition of betrayed was, because when I look at him,
- 14:24Speaker 3: I see nothing behind the eye.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I agree. And later on, I was thinking he doesn't
- 14:29Speaker 1: know what some of these words mean. I was, I
- 14:30Speaker 1: was thinking. There's no way he does.
- 14:32Speaker 2: No, everything is going over his head. Unless Kimberly is like,
- 14:36Speaker 2: and we don't see it as whispering to him what
- 14:38Speaker 2: it means. Yeah. And then he can answer the question. Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 2: He's dumb. And then Lord knows how many fucking holes
- 14:45Speaker 2: he has in his head just from doing drugs. Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I think maybe he could have started off.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But I do think that years of drug abuse have
- 14:51Speaker 1: really pickled his brain.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:54Speaker 1: So, um, you know, and you know, she goes, but
- 14:57Speaker 1: you can understand now that you're saying this about your dad,
- 15:00Speaker 1: how I never want my kids to be around anything
- 15:02Speaker 1: like that. He goes, I get it. I get it.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Um, and she goes, that pissed me off because duh, you, you,
- 15:10Speaker 3: you knew why he was in jail.
- 15:14Speaker 2: You open a re your own personal rehab for him.
- 15:18Speaker 2: He has continued to do drugs. He's gone back to jail. What? Huh?
- 15:24Speaker 1: So quit bringing him back to your house. Right.
- 15:26Speaker 2: You keep bringing him around your kids. When your kids
- 15:28Speaker 2: have a dad, he may not be the greatest dad.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I mean, but God damn, I don't, I don't get it.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I was just like, Kimberly, you probably should have kept
- 15:35Speaker 3: that one close to the chest.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And not said it.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Because it just gets worse later.
- 15:39Speaker 2: It does.
- 15:40Speaker 1: She says, I don't want my kids being around anything
- 15:43Speaker 1: like that. And I don't want, and you can understand.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And he says, yeah, he says, you know, I think
- 15:49Speaker 1: we're starting to understand where some of our behaviors are
- 15:51Speaker 1: coming from and what we did wrong. Huh? We?
- 15:55Speaker 2: We?
- 15:56Speaker 1: We?
- 15:56Speaker 2: It's all you. We?
- 15:59Speaker 1: She hadn't done anything other than she's stupid. I told you.
- 16:02Speaker 2: But yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So she's just like, mm-hmm. So we're talking to him together.
- 16:07Speaker 1: He says, yeah, I love Kimberly. You know, I want
- 16:10Speaker 1: to break all the bands off because it's stuff we
- 16:13Speaker 1: carry with us every day. And we not be able
- 16:16Speaker 1: to break them, but we need to be able to
- 16:18Speaker 1: understand them. Now, sometimes in these talking head, he makes
- 16:21Speaker 1: a little sense.
- 16:23Speaker 2: But it doesn't last long.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I know, but it doesn't, God bless.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It's very short-lived.
- 16:28Speaker 1: So we see Brittany and Marcelino sitting, and he says,
- 16:32Speaker 1: she goes, so what happened when you had to explain
- 16:35Speaker 1: your bans? And he goes, I forgot. And she goes,
- 16:39Speaker 1: now why do you do that? You know, why don't
- 16:40Speaker 1: you just say, I don't want to talk about it?
- 16:43Speaker 1: And he goes, okay, so what did you explain? I
- 16:47Speaker 1: see sexual betrayal. And she goes, yeah, I don't think
- 16:51Speaker 1: you understand that whether it was physical or not, what
- 16:55Speaker 1: you did hurt me. And maybe deeper than the average person,
- 16:59Speaker 1: because I was abused for 12, I was abused for
- 17:02Speaker 1: years and bore two children from this abuse. And then
- 17:07Speaker 1: she reminds us, and we know this story, but every
- 17:09Speaker 1: time she tells it, a new detail comes out and
- 17:11Speaker 1: we're just like, what the fuck? She says at 12,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I ran away. And shortly thereafter, hooked up with a
- 17:19Speaker 1: 30 year old man who abused me and got me
- 17:21Speaker 1: hooked on meth. And for one full year, I never
- 17:24Speaker 1: saw daylight. I was locked in a hotel room. And
- 17:28Speaker 1: I remember just lying on a blanket, crying and starving
- 17:32Speaker 1: and asking God to help me and a God I
- 17:35Speaker 1: didn't believe in to please help me. And this man
- 17:38Speaker 1: was sitting next to me, smoking meth. And she goes,
- 17:42Speaker 1: she just goes, yeah, I went through a lot. I mean,
- 17:44Speaker 1: it's just, it's a wonderer. that she is standing and
- 17:50Speaker 1: thriving and is such a great mom and trying so
- 17:53Speaker 1: hard to work through all this stuff.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Like, yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 3: And I, people would have used that as an excuse
- 17:58Speaker 3: to just be a fucking horrible person.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And I really do wonder if we're going to get
- 18:02Speaker 1: into her mom. Like, I wonder if that's going to
- 18:05Speaker 1: come up. Cause I'd like to know.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Like, it's a piece of shit.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I mean, sure.
- 18:10Speaker 1: So she tells Marcelina, you don't know how hard I
- 18:12Speaker 1: had to work on myself to be able to trust you.
- 18:16Speaker 1: You know, I trusted you and I loved you and
- 18:18Speaker 1: I never let any of that shit bleed over into
- 18:21Speaker 1: our marriage. And then that's why when you hurt me,
- 18:24Speaker 1: it took me to levels of anger that were uncontrollable,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know, with the screaming and the hitting and the
- 18:29Speaker 1: resentment and thinking I'm never going to be good enough
- 18:33Speaker 1: for you. And he hugs her and she puts her
- 18:37Speaker 1: head on his shoulder and And she cries and said,
- 18:39Speaker 1: you left me alone in our marriage. I was alone.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And I was alone to try to pick myself up again.
- 18:45Speaker 1: And then she just cries and he is trying to
- 18:48Speaker 1: like console her.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And she goes, I just, I don't want to do
- 18:51Speaker 1: this dude. And she just takes off the bands and
- 18:53Speaker 1: walks off. And that's surprising because normally it's him doing that.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But I mean, I think actually now she's able to verbalize.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I don't know if she was able to verbalize it before,
- 19:05Speaker 1: but with this like three days of therapy, she's like,
- 19:08Speaker 1: this is why I was so mad at you because
- 19:10Speaker 1: you don't understand what I went through. And then what,
- 19:12Speaker 1: what you did triggered that, you know?
- 19:15Speaker 2: So it was interesting.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Number one, I see why Marcelino is a poker player
- 19:19Speaker 3: because that man has a fucking poker face.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah, he does. You cannot tell what he's feeling, what
- 19:24Speaker 2: he's thinking or anything.
- 19:25Speaker 1: A hundred percent.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Like later on, he says something like, I didn't know
- 19:28Speaker 2: how bad it was with her. She wrote a fucking
- 19:32Speaker 2: book about it. Did you not read the book? There
- 19:35Speaker 2: was a whole TV episode where she broke everything.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Did you not watch that? I just find it hard
- 19:40Speaker 3: to believe that she didn't tell him everything.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I think he just.
- 19:44Speaker 2: It's weird. He was being a man and didn't fucking listen.
- 19:47Speaker 1: But you're right. I was thinking that the same... episode
- 19:50Speaker 1: about how his face lets you know nothing.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Nothing at all.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Thank God the face is pretty because shit.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And so when you do see those rare instances when
- 20:01Speaker 1: he's laughing, you're like, whoa.
- 20:02Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 20:03Speaker 1: It's weird. It's weird.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I feel like he needs a girl's trip.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Because he was with the girls. I'm like, this is
- 20:11Speaker 3: the happiest that we've ever seen this man. Book him
- 20:14Speaker 3: a cruise with all girls, like a Disney cruise, and
- 20:17Speaker 3: let him have fun.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Put the Mickey Mouse ears on him. Like he needed
- 20:20Speaker 2: that therapy. Yeah.
- 20:21Speaker 1: He really did. Completely. And it's funny. I was thinking
- 20:24Speaker 1: the same thing. I was like, this man never cracks. Never.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Nope.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So she walks off. And the talking head Marcelino in
- 20:32Speaker 1: his dead behind the eyes face says, I'm not a therapist.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I don't know how to deal with trauma, not the
- 20:39Speaker 1: kind Brittany has. I don't know how to deal with
- 20:41Speaker 1: the trauma that she brought to the relationship. I don't
- 20:45Speaker 1: know if I can be her husband in the way
- 20:47Speaker 1: she needs me to be. Well, no, you can't. I mean,
- 20:50Speaker 1: you've been separated for two years. I mean, you know.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Here's the thing about it is that, you know, someone
- 20:55Speaker 3: like Brittany needed immediate therapy after the fact. Because I
- 21:02Speaker 3: feel as though when you've been through that much trauma
- 21:05Speaker 3: and then you find someone who loves you, expectations that
- 21:09Speaker 3: you have for that person are unachievable because they become
- 21:12Speaker 3: your everything. And there's no way that any just regular
- 21:15Speaker 3: person can understand what she's been through.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You just, you can't. I mean, that is.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Something that she really needed to work through herself instead
- 21:25Speaker 3: of getting in a relationship, which I get it, but
- 21:28Speaker 3: that's a lot. And I still don't think she's like,
- 21:31Speaker 3: I still don't know if she's been a therapy about it.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I don't either, but she does not do, they're not
- 21:36Speaker 1: doing interviews. So I don't know. Julius and Alexis talk.
- 21:42Speaker 1: And I just said, she looks fucking crazy with these
- 21:44Speaker 1: bands on her head, but trying to have a serious conversation.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Maybe she forgot they were on her head.
- 21:50Speaker 1: No, there's not. Anyway, those things are like, they grab
- 21:52Speaker 1: at your hair and stuff. They're like, they hurt, you.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Know, this is a person who lives with Julius.
- 21:57Speaker 1: That's true.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:58Speaker 1: That's true. So she says to him, like, wow, all
- 22:01Speaker 1: this has kind of turned out to be a good thing.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And he goes, yeah, a lot of the time I
- 22:06Speaker 1: don't talk. I'm just in my own zone. And she goes,
- 22:09Speaker 1: but you shouldn't suppress how you feel. And then she goes,
- 22:12Speaker 1: but we both need to work on that. She says,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I act out of emotion and I fire to the fire.
- 22:17Speaker 1: And that comes from my childhood. I always wonder if
- 22:21Speaker 1: I'm enough. And she says, I want to come To
- 22:25Speaker 1: a solution of how to fix this. Because it should
- 22:27Speaker 1: be us against the problem. Not the two of us
- 22:30Speaker 1: against each other. But in my mind. He is the problem.
- 22:33Speaker 1: In my mind.
- 22:35Speaker 2: He is the problem. But I also feel as though
- 22:38Speaker 2: he's her show pony.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah I know.
- 22:41Speaker 3: I mean I just do. I mean it's unfortunate. That
- 22:45Speaker 3: I feel like if he looked differently. She would not.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Accept the same.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Tolerate this behavior.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Yeah I think she thinks he makes her look. more
- 22:54Speaker 3: attractive because it's like, ooh, she got him.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Even though to people like us normal people, that shit
- 23:00Speaker 2: ain't cute.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I could see because when they showed pictures of him
- 23:05Speaker 1: when he first went in before he scribbled all over
- 23:07Speaker 1: his face, he's a very good looking guy.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but now he's dead behind the eyes and got all.
- 23:13Speaker 1: The shit on his face.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Then he has his dress that kind of cover up
- 23:17Speaker 3: his face a little bit.
- 23:19Speaker 2: They look like they have sucked each other's souls out.
- 23:21Speaker 2: They do.
- 23:22Speaker 1: They both do.
- 23:23Speaker 2: He looks just as bad as she does. Like either
- 23:25Speaker 2: one of them looks like they're living a good life.
- 23:27Speaker 1: No, they both seem very unhappy.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:30Speaker 1: So Melissa and Louie talk and she says, so what's
- 23:33Speaker 1: the difference if I'm affectionate or not? And he goes,
- 23:37Speaker 1: it's a huge difference. It's showing the other person that
- 23:40Speaker 1: you're wanted. Like this morning I tried to kiss you
- 23:44Speaker 1: and you pull away from me. Like, why are you
- 23:46Speaker 1: not affectionate? And she goes, that's what we're here trying
- 23:49Speaker 1: to figure out. And she goes, I don't know. Maybe
- 23:52Speaker 1: it's because being affectionate never got me anywhere. He goes,
- 23:55Speaker 1: but this is all stuff from your past relationships. And
- 23:58Speaker 1: she goes, yeah, I thought having all this stuff, having
- 24:01Speaker 1: this life was like a great thing, but it turned
- 24:03Speaker 1: out I was just being controlled. And then I decided,
- 24:06Speaker 1: you know, going back to the guy locking her out,
- 24:09Speaker 1: she goes, then I would never depend on anybody. And
- 24:11Speaker 1: the only person I can ever depend on is myself.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And he goes, okay, so how can we fix it?
- 24:17Speaker 1: And she goes, that's why we're here. I don't know.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm not a doctor. And he goes, why can't we
- 24:23Speaker 1: just talk? Like, why do you have to go right
- 24:25Speaker 1: to that and be a smart ass? Like, I feel
- 24:27Speaker 1: like you're trying to push me away. And you know,
- 24:30Speaker 1: how much can one person take?
- 24:34Speaker 3: Well, I'll tell you what, while they're trying to figure
- 24:36Speaker 3: that out, we, the viewers are all trying to figure
- 24:39Speaker 3: out why does it look like Melissa's working the fry
- 24:41Speaker 3: station at McDonald's?
- 24:43Speaker 2: Her face is so greasy.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Why was it so greasy?
- 24:46Speaker 2: What is that?
- 24:48Speaker 1: They weren't hot.
- 24:50Speaker 3: No, because no one else's face looked like a grease ball,
- 24:53Speaker 3: but hers is just getting greasier and greasier with each episode.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Like her face is, I don't know, like the tip
- 25:00Speaker 3: of her nose looks like there's no blood circulation to it.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Well, she definitely had a second nose job and fixed
- 25:05Speaker 1: it because the first nose job, and you guys, this
- 25:07Speaker 1: is like all on the show. She wasn't happy with it.
- 25:10Speaker 1: And then anytime she would post, she would block out
- 25:13Speaker 1: her nose because she obviously got it fixed to show
- 25:16Speaker 1: that she fixed it, which is great. She wasn't happy
- 25:18Speaker 1: with it. She got it fixed. It wasn't what she
- 25:20Speaker 1: wanted it to look like. She got it fixed. But
- 25:23Speaker 1: I think probably she's recovering from that. And I wonder
- 25:27Speaker 1: if she has something. Oh, sorry. I hit my microphone.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I wonder if she has something else done to her
- 25:31Speaker 1: face before she went like a laser or a peel.
- 25:34Speaker 1: And she's literally just putting an aquaphor on it because
- 25:37Speaker 1: that's her walk.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Time it right so it'd be fresh and done.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Well, you didn't ever watch Real Housewives of New York,
- 25:46Speaker 1: but Ramona on there one time literally went on a
- 25:51Speaker 1: Mexican vacation to a retreat in Mexico two days after
- 25:56Speaker 1: she had gotten a peel and her face looked red
- 25:57Speaker 1: like when my face looked red after that peel. You
- 26:01Speaker 1: cannot go in the sun. Your skin has been burned off.
- 26:03Speaker 1: You cannot take that raw skin in the sun. She's like, what?
- 26:06Speaker 1: I just thought I'd wear a hat. And she looks insane.
- 26:09Speaker 1: So some people, sometimes people just don't time it right.
- 26:12Speaker 1: You know? So I'm, so I'm wondering if she is
- 26:15Speaker 1: trying to treat that new skin and because it's, there's
- 26:19Speaker 1: no sun there wherever they are, but nobody else is
- 26:22Speaker 1: hot and sweaty.
- 26:23Speaker 2: No. And we're used to her being like almost unhealthy
- 26:27Speaker 2: looking white because she put so much powder on her face. Yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 3: To go to this, it's just like, what the fuck
- 26:34Speaker 3: is going on?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Like, it's just, I didn't understand the grease. I didn't
- 26:37Speaker 1: understand the greasiness. I was like, either she has slathered
- 26:40Speaker 1: Aquaphor all over her face or she is premenopausal and
- 26:45Speaker 1: just sweating her ass off.
- 26:47Speaker 3: It looks more like grease than sweat. And I wanted
- 26:49Speaker 3: to say, just listening to the two of them talk.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, she went so hard to get Louie.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I know.
- 26:57Speaker 2: For her to like pivot. And it's almost like she
- 27:00Speaker 2: can't stand him. And I'm thinking to myself, she was
- 27:03Speaker 2: in love with Louie, who was the bad guy. And
- 27:06Speaker 2: here we have Louie 2.0, who's Mr.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Raw, raw, raw cheerleader, physical fitness. I want to pump
- 27:12Speaker 3: everybody up and be positive.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yeah. And she doesn't like it.
- 27:17Speaker 1: It could be. Unless they're faking it. And I had
- 27:20Speaker 1: a smidge of thinking that during this particular scene, because
- 27:24Speaker 1: they're both doing that smile talking a little bit, like
- 27:28Speaker 1: a little bit, like they're faking it for the cameras. I, I,
- 27:33Speaker 1: I don't know. We'll see. So then we see Justine
- 27:36Speaker 1: and Michael talking and she's saying, you know, I know
- 27:39Speaker 1: a lot of my baggage holds me back. And Michael
- 27:43Speaker 1: tells us way before prison, I was numb to my
- 27:47Speaker 1: feelings and I shut people out way before prison. He
- 27:51Speaker 1: says prison just heightened it, you know, made it worse.
- 27:54Speaker 1: So Justine says, I only lash out at you because
- 27:58Speaker 1: I'm I know that you'll never walk out. He goes,
- 28:00Speaker 1: I don't believe that. And he says, and I don't
- 28:03Speaker 1: think you really believe that. And that's why you don't
- 28:05Speaker 1: trust me fully. And she goes, no, I don't think so.
- 28:08Speaker 1: And he goes, that's how I see it. And now
- 28:10Speaker 1: you try to shut me down. But if I did that,
- 28:12Speaker 1: you'd be all mad. And she goes, I disagree with you,
- 28:16Speaker 1: but I'm still here letting you talk. I didn't take
- 28:19Speaker 1: the bands off and walk away and run back to
- 28:22Speaker 1: the room. I'm still connected to you. I'm still letting
- 28:24Speaker 1: you talk. I think that's a great point because he's like, Oh,
- 28:28Speaker 1: but if I disagree with you, you know, and she goes, no,
- 28:31Speaker 1: but I'm still talking. We're still having the conversation. He
- 28:34Speaker 1: disagrees and then just runs and gets pissed and goes,
- 28:36Speaker 1: I'm leaving. You know?
- 28:37Speaker 2: She didn't do a Britney.
- 28:38Speaker 3: She didn't take the pants off and run and say,
- 28:42Speaker 3: I can't do this shit.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Poor Britney. I mean, Marcelina was trying to hug her
- 28:45Speaker 1: and she's like, I can't take it.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I mean, she still really loves him. I really do.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think, but I don't think she wants
- 28:53Speaker 1: to be married to him anymore. I think that one
- 28:56Speaker 1: betrayal was too much. And she, she would always be
- 28:59Speaker 1: looking over her shoulder, always be looking at his phone,
- 29:01Speaker 1: always wondering what he was doing, you know?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Oh, that's sad.
- 29:05Speaker 1: So everybody is all sitting together to talk and Alexis
- 29:09Speaker 1: still has the bands on her face. And, um, literally
- 29:13Speaker 1: they're on her face, literally on her face, on her face. And, um,
- 29:17Speaker 1: They're all laughing a little bit, you know, but, you know,
- 29:20Speaker 1: kind of joking around. So Kimberly says, they're all kind
- 29:22Speaker 1: of joking around. And Kimberly says, you know, we all
- 29:25Speaker 1: know what happened to us, which is interesting, but we
- 29:28Speaker 1: didn't know how it was coming out. Like, look at us.
- 29:30Speaker 1: We're doing the work. And they're all like, yeah. And
- 29:33Speaker 1: then we see Marcelino walk in with no bands and
- 29:36Speaker 1: they have this dramatic music. And he's like, we out
- 29:39Speaker 1: of here tomorrow. And he literally does have the poker face.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And they're all like, no, no, we're not done yet.
- 29:45Speaker 1: We've got so much more to do. And he obviously
- 29:48Speaker 1: is joking, but because Brittany comes in and she sits down,
- 29:51Speaker 1: she's also got her bands off and she sits down
- 29:53Speaker 1: next to him and she touches his hand and they
- 29:55Speaker 1: hold hands and They do. And it's very nice. It's
- 29:59Speaker 1: very nice.
- 30:00Speaker 2: And they are smarter than the rest of them who
- 30:02Speaker 2: still have bands on. Yeah. Dr.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Ish comes in and goes, okay, listen, what we learned
- 30:08Speaker 1: is we all push stuff down. There are conversations that
- 30:11Speaker 1: we don't have. So let's take the bands off, you know.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Thank God. He's talking to you.
- 30:18Speaker 1: She's like, oh, I like it. I think it's a
- 30:20Speaker 1: good look. He says, see you tomorrow. And he walks out.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I have to say this. Mm-hmm.
- 30:26Speaker 3: As someone who has followed Dr. Ish, I'm not quite
- 30:30Speaker 3: sure what is going on with his wardrobe.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I like the sweater he has on the next day
- 30:36Speaker 1: that's just kind of gray with the one big flower
- 30:38Speaker 1: on it.
- 30:39Speaker 2: All of his outfits have been very zesty. And we're
- 30:42Speaker 2: used to him. Like, he is a sweater guy.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 2: He usually is in, like, neutrals or a suit. I...
- 30:51Speaker 2: He just... I don't know. I don't know if he's
- 30:53Speaker 2: trying to be hipper because it's a different crowd.
- 30:55Speaker 1: I don't, I don't know.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Maybe La Roche is his new stylist. I don't know,
- 31:01Speaker 3: but who is this new feller with all these bold
- 31:06Speaker 3: colors and things like that going on?
- 31:08Speaker 2: Like, okay.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I do like the one he has on the next
- 31:13Speaker 1: day though. But in the talking head, Marcelino says, I'm
- 31:18Speaker 1: trying not to give up, but it is a long road.
- 31:21Speaker 1: So we see them all like chatting in the kitchen
- 31:23Speaker 1: and Brittany's making a joke like, damn, like I'm so
- 31:25Speaker 1: stressed out. I can't even have a drink. Like it's
- 31:27Speaker 1: not fair. But Marcelino takes Michael outside and Michael's like, man,
- 31:34Speaker 1: do you really leave it? He goes, no, I'm staying.
- 31:36Speaker 1: He goes, here's the thing about Brittany. You know, I
- 31:40Speaker 1: knew what she went through, but not like that. And
- 31:43Speaker 1: it was, you know, really triggering for her what I did,
- 31:46Speaker 1: but we're trying to work it out. And then Marcelino says,
- 31:49Speaker 1: spend the time with my besties, all the girlfriends today,
- 31:52Speaker 1: with the women. You know, I learned that all of
- 31:55Speaker 1: them are just telling us what we need. They're telling
- 31:58Speaker 1: us what we need. And he says in Spanish, and
- 32:02Speaker 1: your wife, if you will allow me. And Michael goes, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 32:07Speaker 1: But he's already starting to cry. And Marcelino goes, softer.
- 32:11Speaker 1: You got to be softer. And Michael says, I don't
- 32:16Speaker 1: know how to be soft. Like, that shit kills me, bro. Well,
- 32:20Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 32:20Speaker 2: That that came from Marcelino, considering he's not soft.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Oh, he's hardcore to the floor. He never breaks a smile, nothing.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Now, you have to remember, this is a person who's
- 32:32Speaker 3: never been to prison. So he's the hardest out of
- 32:35Speaker 3: all of them.
- 32:36Speaker 2: He is.
- 32:36Speaker 1: He's very. He's hard to read, everything.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:40Speaker 1: And Marcelina says, I know, I know. And Michael just
- 32:43Speaker 1: falls into his arms crying. And Marcelina says, with her,
- 32:50Speaker 1: she needs you to be a little bit softer. And
- 32:55Speaker 1: Michael's like, I don't know. I don't know. And he says,
- 32:57Speaker 1: you have to try. You have to just try. Because
- 33:00Speaker 1: not trying is damaging. He's like, okay. And he hugs
- 33:04Speaker 1: him again. I mean, poor Michael. He's really going through it.
- 33:08Speaker 2: He's really going through it.
- 33:09Speaker 3: And I think there's a lot of stuff happening behind
- 33:11Speaker 3: the scenes that we just don't know yet.
- 33:14Speaker 1: There's definitely lots of stuff they're not showing us. I
- 33:16Speaker 1: think some of these sessions that they're doing are lasting
- 33:19Speaker 1: way longer because like the one coming up where they
- 33:21Speaker 1: throw the rock on the ground, we only see one
- 33:23Speaker 1: person's side. We don't see both sides. And you can
- 33:25Speaker 1: see that tons of things have been broken on the
- 33:27Speaker 1: ground that we haven't seen. So they're definitely just showing
- 33:31Speaker 1: us what they think are the highlights.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Right. We're way nosier. Like we like a lot of details.
- 33:36Speaker 1: We'd like both. We'd like all the information.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 1: So talking to him, Michael says, you know, I'm not
- 33:42Speaker 1: a weak person. I'm a strong motherfucker. And that's where.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Everywhere I go.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Well, I mean, what's what he means before this, I think.
- 33:51Speaker 1: And he goes, and that's why everywhere I go, that
- 33:53Speaker 1: shit radiates. And sometimes I feel like I'm not even
- 33:56Speaker 1: equipped to be in a relationship. But I mean, when
- 34:01Speaker 1: you think of what his persona was as a very
- 34:06Speaker 1: high level fentanyl dealer, like super high level drug dealer.
- 34:12Speaker 1: And you know, you're always watching your back and you've
- 34:16Speaker 1: got this, you know, rapper, you know, mentality of like,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I'm a rapper. I'm hard. I'm for the street. So
- 34:22Speaker 1: you see all the pictures of him where he looks
- 34:24Speaker 1: all hardcore. You know, that's, that is what he radiates.
- 34:28Speaker 2: It is.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Um, it would be hard.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Did you hear the rumor? We all know that his
- 34:35Speaker 2: 15 year old sister passed away, but, Did you hear
- 34:38Speaker 2: that the rumor is that she died of a fentanyl overdose?
- 34:43Speaker 1: I did not hear that.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I don't know if that's true or not.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I want somebody to take to the Reddit to find
- 34:49Speaker 1: out because he mentioned his sister on our interview. He
- 34:52Speaker 1: mentioned his sister dying. I did not mention it.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Because I said.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I mean, there's a GoFundMe to get her for the
- 35:00Speaker 3: funeral expenses.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I mean, I said, how are you doing with your family?
- 35:06Speaker 1: And he said, fuck my family. Okay. So that's the answer.
- 35:11Speaker 1: So there's some things to work through there. But you know, I,
- 35:14Speaker 1: when I was kind of trying, when I was looking up,
- 35:15Speaker 1: like I looked up on Reddit, like Michael's sister, Michael's
- 35:19Speaker 1: sister that died, you know, I was trying to find,
- 35:21Speaker 1: I couldn't find anything, but what kept coming up was
- 35:24Speaker 1: his sister that we saw on the show. That was
- 35:27Speaker 1: the lesbian that was married.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 1: That she was also arrested along with him for the dealing.
- 35:34Speaker 1: So it was a family.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Never heard that. Never heard. I'm not surprised though.
- 35:38Speaker 1: It was a family affair. And like I've said before,
- 35:40Speaker 1: it seems to me from viewing the show that his
- 35:44Speaker 1: whole family benefited from his success. Of course.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Look, that's what happens most of the time when you
- 35:49Speaker 3: have a drug dealer in the family. Like everyone knows
- 35:52Speaker 3: they're doing something wrong, but oh, mom's house is getting
- 35:55Speaker 3: paid for. Oh, little sister got a new car. So
- 35:58Speaker 3: everyone is kind of lets it slide, you know? And
- 36:01Speaker 3: then what happens is that person gets sent to prison.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Right.
- 36:05Speaker 1: And then who's taking care of them now? They need
- 36:06Speaker 1: to all, you know, Y'all, if you know me, you
- 36:10Speaker 1: know how obsessed I am with The RealReal. I have
- 36:12Speaker 1: been a member since January of 2019, and I'm on
- 36:16Speaker 1: that site every week. I mean, maybe every day, but
- 36:19Speaker 1: sometimes I go on the app and I'm just browsing.
- 36:21Speaker 1: But a lot of times I have something very specific
- 36:24Speaker 1: in mind that I'm hunting for. Lately, my mission has
- 36:27Speaker 1: been gifts. I love to get gifts. Yes, I do.

- 36:48Speaker 1: the cutest small pink patent leather Louis Vuitton bag. It's
- 36:52Speaker 1: perfect for a night out. It was very reasonably priced.
- 36:55Speaker 1: I use it constantly and people always ask me where
- 36:58Speaker 1: I got it. It's adorable. And yeah, okay. I love

- 38:14Speaker 1: I don't know where we went wrong. I never gave
- 38:18Speaker 1: you any reason to be so fierce. And she says,
- 38:21Speaker 1: I don't know how many times I can say this.
- 38:24Speaker 1: After you hurt me the way you did, I lost
- 38:26Speaker 1: control of myself. I spiraled. I apologize. I am sorry.
- 38:31Speaker 1: I should have never put my hands on you. Never.
- 38:34Speaker 1: I just wanted to find something in my life where
- 38:37Speaker 1: I felt safe and I thought I had it with you.
- 38:40Speaker 1: And then it was ripped out from under me. But
- 38:44Speaker 1: I do feel like they're really hearing each other and
- 38:46Speaker 1: we're making progress.
- 38:47Speaker 2: For the first time. Yeah. Even if the result is
- 38:51Speaker 2: them not being together, which we know they're not.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:53Speaker 2: They still have to get along for the sake of
- 38:55Speaker 2: the kids. Yeah. I mean, who wants to go pick
- 38:57Speaker 2: up their kids and be like, oh, I got to
- 38:59Speaker 2: see this fucking bitch.
- 39:00Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 39:01Speaker 2: Go get my kids. Yeah.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Happens every day of the week. I mean, you know.
- 39:04Speaker 1: So he says, I apologize for what I did. I
- 39:07Speaker 1: know you didn't deserve it and I didn't deserve it,
- 39:10Speaker 1: but it is what happened. And I'm sorry you had
- 39:13Speaker 1: to go through what you went through. And I want
- 39:15Speaker 1: you to know that. And she says, I'm so grateful
- 39:19Speaker 1: we could hear each other and apologize to each other
- 39:22Speaker 1: and really feel it. You know, she says, I had
- 39:24Speaker 1: a breakthrough I didn't know I needed to have. And
- 39:26Speaker 1: so I feel like really she's telling the truth, like, wow, this.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Day three, Joey's in the kitchen cooking with his sunglasses on,
- 39:49Speaker 1: which is always suspect.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Joey, there's no need to hide behind the sunglasses. We
- 39:54Speaker 2: all know.
- 39:55Speaker 1: And he says, what is this cooking these eggs make
- 39:58Speaker 1: you think about? And they all laugh like, this is
- 40:00Speaker 1: your brain. This is your brain on drugs.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Brain on drugs. Yeah. Especially his. Especially his.
- 40:05Speaker 1: If you guys are like super young, that was an
- 40:08Speaker 1: ad that we used to have back in the day.
- 40:10Speaker 1: It would be just an egg. And they say, this
- 40:13Speaker 1: is your brain. Then they would put it in a
- 40:15Speaker 1: hot pan and it would start to fry and it
- 40:17Speaker 1: would say, this is your brain on drugs. Let me
- 40:19Speaker 1: tell you what is an effective ad campaign because we
- 40:21Speaker 1: all remember it. And then there was.
- 40:23Speaker 2: The one, I learned about watching you, dad. I learned
- 40:26Speaker 2: about watching you.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yes, yes. How did you learn to do these drugs?
- 40:30Speaker 1: I learned from watching you, dad.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I learned from watching you. We're so old.
- 40:34Speaker 1: We're so old. Oh, everybody. Current references only.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Now we're in Justine and Michael's room and he's got
- 40:43Speaker 1: a suitcase on the bed. So it's unclear. Is he
- 40:45Speaker 1: like packing or is he like looking for his underwear? Right.
- 40:49Speaker 1: And so she says to him, how was your group?
- 40:53Speaker 1: And so we don't know if they had a group
- 40:55Speaker 1: that morning.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:57Speaker 1: And I feel like there was, I feel like there
- 40:58Speaker 1: were all these breakout groups and we didn't see that.
- 41:01Speaker 1: And he goes, I don't want to talk about that shit.
- 41:03Speaker 1: I'm going outside. And she goes, And she goes, okay, well,
- 41:07Speaker 1: how can I find you when I'm all set? Because
- 41:09Speaker 1: I think it's like they had separate groups that morning
- 41:11Speaker 1: and then they were going to do something together. And
- 41:13Speaker 1: he goes, this place ain't that big. So she goes, okay.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing.
- 41:19Speaker 3: He can most definitely spot her in her outfit, no
- 41:21Speaker 3: matter where he is on the property.
- 41:23Speaker 2: He can spot her.
- 41:24Speaker 1: It's a beacon.
- 41:26Speaker 2: I was just like, she's looking like a.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Black gym Barbie, which is fucking neon pink. And then
- 41:31Speaker 3: the glasses that look like she got it from the
- 41:32Speaker 3: local 7-Eleven.
- 41:33Speaker 1: It was a lot. It's definitely 80s workout Barbie.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Yes. Yes.
- 41:39Speaker 1: It's a Jane Fonda and one and two and three
- 41:42Speaker 1: and four.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:44Speaker 1: And so in her talking head, he goes, I woke
- 41:46Speaker 1: up aggravated and I woke up thinking this shit can't
- 41:49Speaker 1: help me, you know? So she walks out in her
- 41:52Speaker 1: Barbie get up and is like, Like, hey, what's up? Like,
- 41:55Speaker 1: don't leave me hanging. And he goes, I don't give
- 41:57Speaker 1: a fuck. That's it. And she goes, so, okay. So
- 42:01Speaker 1: I'm left to just decode what's going on. Like, she's like,
- 42:04Speaker 1: I literally.
- 42:05Speaker 2: No idea what's going on.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I don't know what's happening. She goes, so I'm just
- 42:09Speaker 1: left to decode what's going on. He goes, you can
- 42:10Speaker 1: just decode yourself. You don't have to decode me. I'm
- 42:13Speaker 1: checked out just to let you know. And she goes,
- 42:16Speaker 1: I mean, you don't have to let me know. I mean,
- 42:19Speaker 1: I can tell. And when did you check in? You know,
- 42:22Speaker 1: great point.
- 42:23Speaker 3: And he's doing this, talking to her like crazy in
- 42:27Speaker 3: front of all these people.
- 42:29Speaker 1: And everybody's like looking over like, what the fuck's going
- 42:32Speaker 1: on over there?
- 42:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 42:33Speaker 3: And my thing is always do not embarrass me in
- 42:35Speaker 3: front of all these white people. Like, I'm really big
- 42:37Speaker 3: on that.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Okay. Do not do that to me. Okay.
- 42:43Speaker 1: So Louie yells, hey, Mike, Mike, come get some breakfast.
- 42:47Speaker 1: And so all the women are like, what's going on?
- 42:49Speaker 1: What's going on? And we see him and he's packing
- 42:52Speaker 1: in the room and she cries. She goes, all I
- 42:54Speaker 1: said was, how was your group? Like, that's all I said.
- 42:59Speaker 1: So she calls her mom, which is interesting. She doesn't
- 43:01Speaker 1: really get along with her mom.
- 43:03Speaker 3: She always says how much her mom's never there. Her
- 43:05Speaker 3: mom doesn't pick up the phone. Her mom doesn't do this.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Their dynamic is weird because we know for a fact
- 43:11Speaker 2: that Sherry helped her financially a lot with those kids. Yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. We also know Sherry
- 43:18Speaker 2: likes to hit the bottle too. I did work.
- 43:21Speaker 1: I asked her about Sherry on the interview, too. So
- 43:25Speaker 1: so so she says, Mom, how can I do the
- 43:27Speaker 1: program with him if he won't do it with me?
- 43:30Speaker 1: We see Mike. He's like taking off his mic pack.
- 43:32Speaker 1: He's trying to give it to production. So Louie's like,
- 43:35Speaker 1: come talk to me. So Louie walks off with Michael
- 43:37Speaker 1: and Michael is like, you know, I don't have a
- 43:42Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with me. It's her. It's her.
- 43:46Speaker 1: You hear me, Justine? Fuck you. It's crazy. It's crazy.
- 43:50Speaker 1: So I think he's trying to say like, I'm fine.
- 43:51Speaker 1: I don't need any help. That's what he's saying.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Kimberly says to her, why is he so mad? And
- 43:59Speaker 1: Justine goes, I don't know. It's so embarrassing. Like, I
- 44:01Speaker 1: don't know. She keeps like turning around. So she's saying
- 44:05Speaker 1: to the girls, if he leaves, like, don't come back
- 44:08Speaker 1: to our house in Vegas. It's done. You know, I
- 44:11Speaker 1: just hold him up all the time, but I'm underneath
- 44:14Speaker 1: and nobody ever comes to help me.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Yeah. So you add on nine kids.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Exactly. It seems like five live with them. I think.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Right. Because Kylie's, of course, at school. And I think
- 44:25Speaker 2: Melanie's at school.
- 44:26Speaker 1: So I think.
- 44:27Speaker 2: So that's seven. And then the two little ones still
- 44:29Speaker 2: live up north. Yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I think.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:32Speaker 1: I think the two little ones. And then her two
- 44:38Speaker 1: middle ones, Bentley and.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Santana.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Santana live with her. And then one of his. Because
- 44:44Speaker 1: that makes five.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Michael Jr.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Maybe Michael Jr. So Michael is talking to Louie and
- 44:51Speaker 1: he's like, this is just too emotionally draining. I'm feeling
- 44:54Speaker 1: emotions for me and for other people. Like, I'm giving
- 44:57Speaker 1: a fuck about Brittany and Marcelino and you and Melissa.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Why do I give a fuck? I don't even know y'all, bro.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I get it. I mean, it's true. It's
- 45:06Speaker 2: a lot of emotion. He needs to go wash his
- 45:08Speaker 2: hands with some salt. It's just too much going on.
- 45:10Speaker 1: And Louie goes, look, you got a lot of shit
- 45:13Speaker 1: going on inside you. And Marcelino goes, it's called being
- 45:17Speaker 1: a human, man. And Louie goes, man, when do you
- 45:20Speaker 1: ever let yourself just like let it out how you feel?
- 45:23Speaker 1: Like you just think about how much shit you got
- 45:25Speaker 1: pent up inside. And Marcelino, he wanted to leave, but
- 45:28Speaker 1: he's still here. And Michael goes, I know. I was
- 45:32Speaker 1: just talking to him, man. I'm the biggest fucking hypocrite.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I don't want to take it out on her, dog.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Like I don't want to take it out on her. Well,
- 45:38Speaker 1: four seconds ago, you just yelled fuck you to her
- 45:40Speaker 1: for no reason.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:42Speaker 1: So then he just collapses onto Louie and hugs him.
- 45:46Speaker 3: There's so much trauma, I think, just from his childhood alone.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:52Speaker 1: And nobody's safe. Nobody's safe from the hugging either. He's
- 45:56Speaker 1: going to get you.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Oh, God, no. He bear hugs. I mean, and that's
- 45:59Speaker 2: a lot of man right there.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Louis is a little.
- 46:02Speaker 3: You know, thank God he pumps iron because, I mean, just,
- 46:05Speaker 3: you know, it's a lot.
- 46:06Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 46:07Speaker 2: And he's snot cries and everything.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Oh, my God. He doesn't even get a tissue.
- 46:12Speaker 2: No, he doesn't. So Dr.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Ish comes out and goes, Hey, what's going on here?
- 46:17Speaker 1: And Louie goes, yeah. So he's struggling because he's feeling
- 46:21Speaker 1: his own stuff, but everybody else's. And Dr. Ish goes, yeah,
- 46:25Speaker 1: you have empathy and we all struggle, but you, where
- 46:29Speaker 1: you lived, um, where you lived a life where you
- 46:32Speaker 1: had to push everything down to maintain. Now this is
- 46:35Speaker 1: what happens because you live that life where you pushed
- 46:37Speaker 1: it all down and now you're letting it all out. And, um,
- 46:42Speaker 1: Michael says to Dr. Ish, we are broken. How do
- 46:45Speaker 1: two broken people build a foundation? And it says slowly,
- 46:52Speaker 1: like brick by brick, that's how you do it. So
- 46:55Speaker 1: Michael goes to talk to Dr. Ish alone and he said,
- 46:59Speaker 1: he's bawling, crying. And he says, Justine has been such
- 47:02Speaker 1: a blessing to me and I can see how broken
- 47:05Speaker 1: she is and I can't fix it. And I keep
- 47:09Speaker 1: adding to it and I have no, idea why she
- 47:12Speaker 1: stuck around and i feel like maybe i should leave
- 47:16Speaker 1: to salvage what's left in her sort of.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Like he's trying to sabotage the relationship and.
- 47:22Speaker 1: So right it's like what joey said i feel like
- 47:25Speaker 1: sometimes i should just leave and that's what's best for
- 47:27Speaker 1: them you know.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Well i would have left if he yelled across the
- 47:30Speaker 2: yard fuck you i know well you ain't got to
- 47:33Speaker 2: worry about me.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Anymore so um Justine is saying to Melissa and Kimberly,
- 47:39Speaker 1: she's like, I just want to fix him. And they're like,
- 47:41Speaker 1: that's not your job. That's not on you. And she says,
- 47:45Speaker 1: nobody is going to come and help him. Nobody. And
- 47:49Speaker 1: she says, I just want to make the best of
- 47:51Speaker 1: this experience. And I don't want to go back home
- 47:53Speaker 1: to the same shit. Like we've got to stay here,
- 47:55Speaker 1: you know, and fix this.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 47:57Speaker 1: So, but here's what, you know, when she's saying nobody's
- 48:00Speaker 1: coming to rescue him, I think she's like his whole
- 48:02Speaker 1: family abandoned him because now he's not making a million
- 48:05Speaker 1: dollars a year selling drugs.
- 48:06Speaker 2: And that's what happens. That's exactly what happened. Yeah.
- 48:09Speaker 1: So all the people he was supporting now don't support him. Yep.
- 48:14Speaker 1: So Dr. Ish tells Michael, as a guy, we want
- 48:19Speaker 1: to put the fire out, but you got to let
- 48:21Speaker 1: this one burn. Like, what do you think she needs
- 48:24Speaker 1: the most? And he says, love and support. And Dr.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Ish says, love. And Michael goes, I do love her.
- 48:32Speaker 1: And Dr. Ish says, that's why she stays. Because you
- 48:35Speaker 1: can see that you're full of love and you're feeling it,
- 48:37Speaker 1: not just for her, but for everybody here.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 48:41Speaker 1: So you're not a narcissist because you're feeling everybody else's pain.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Here, right? Yeah. And crying about it too.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Just crying about everybody else's problems.
- 48:49Speaker 2: He's crying for everybody.
- 48:50Speaker 1: He's Brittany comes to the door and goes, Hey, I
- 48:54Speaker 1: don't want to interrupt, but like Justine is really struggling
- 48:57Speaker 1: out here. Can she come in?
- 48:59Speaker 2: Well, she wasn't struggling as bad as Michael was.
- 49:02Speaker 1: So she comes in and she sits down next to him.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Now they're both in their stupid sunglasses, but she takes
- 49:07Speaker 1: hers off and then he takes his off. Thank God.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Thank God.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I was like, we are not on a show like
- 49:14Speaker 1: the traders or something where you're supposed to be in
- 49:16Speaker 1: a getup. Do you know what I mean?
- 49:18Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Look, say that they were, these two have no sense
- 49:23Speaker 3: of fashion whatsoever.
- 49:25Speaker 1: God bless.
- 49:25Speaker 2: They don't. And the sad part about it is, is
- 49:28Speaker 2: that they try. You can tell they try.
- 49:31Speaker 1: They try. And I don't think that's sad. I think
- 49:33Speaker 1: that's positive. um, Mike says, okay, so Justine comes in.
- 49:40Speaker 1: So she tells Dr., he says, what are you feeling?
- 49:43Speaker 1: She goes, confused because I have no idea what I
- 49:48Speaker 1: did wrong. And Dr. Ish says, Michael's just confused about
- 49:52Speaker 1: everything he's feeling, everyone's pain. And for a large part
- 49:56Speaker 1: of his life, he had to shut that all down.
- 49:59Speaker 1: And you can't care and do the things he was doing,
- 50:04Speaker 1: can you?
- 50:05Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 50:06Speaker 1: So Michael just has his head in his hands crying.
- 50:09Speaker 1: And I think a lot of that is coming back
- 50:10Speaker 1: to him too. Like now that he's out in the,
- 50:13Speaker 1: out in the world and he sees the opioid epidemic
- 50:16Speaker 1: that we're in and that he was such a large
- 50:19Speaker 1: contributor to that, a huge contributor to that. And now
- 50:22Speaker 1: he's thinking like, as all these things are coming up,
- 50:24Speaker 1: you do wonder if he's like, what the fuck have
- 50:26Speaker 1: I done to the world? I've helped this problem.
- 50:30Speaker 2: That if the rumor is true that his sister was
- 50:34Speaker 2: using fentanyl, He's got that on his back too. Now
- 50:37Speaker 2: my sister is a, and I don't know if this
- 50:39Speaker 2: is true or not. It's just what I keep seeing. Yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 2: And then he probably knows there's something going on with
- 50:43Speaker 2: his sister.
- 50:43Speaker 3: So, and then here's the thing that you cannot tell
- 50:46Speaker 3: me they don't struggle financially.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Those two for sure. They do. Yeah.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Especially when you're so job is being a Las Vegas rapper.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Well, he's a manager at like a warehouse.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Remember?
- 51:02Speaker 1: Is it still?
- 51:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:04Speaker 1: I mean, he's got like a nine to five job.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I mean, last time we saw him, he had a
- 51:07Speaker 1: nine to five job. Now they're, they're trying to do
- 51:09Speaker 1: their rap stuff on the side and that's fine. Everybody
- 51:10Speaker 1: should have dreams, but he does have like a nine
- 51:13Speaker 1: to five job. I don't think she does because there's like,
- 51:15Speaker 1: what would be the point? So many kids.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:19Speaker 1: So, um, so, you know, like he says, you can't
- 51:23Speaker 1: do what he did and care about anything. So he's crying.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Michael's crying. And Dr. Ish says, he's not just feeling
- 51:31Speaker 1: it for you. He's feeling it for himself and for
- 51:35Speaker 1: everybody here. So she goes over like right away and
- 51:38Speaker 1: sits right by him. And she says, if you're feeling
- 51:41Speaker 1: those heavy emotions, just talk to me. Pull me aside.
- 51:45Speaker 1: You can tell me everything. You can cry. You can scream.
- 51:48Speaker 1: You can break things. You can kick shit. And he goes, no,
- 51:51Speaker 1: I can't. And Dr. Ish says, no, he can't because
- 51:54Speaker 1: he knows what you've been through. And that makes him
- 51:56Speaker 1: feel like shit.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Uh, so much here, so many layers.
- 52:01Speaker 1: And here's what now that we're talking it through. I
- 52:03Speaker 1: think that when Dr. Isha says he's not just feeling
- 52:06Speaker 1: it for you, he's feeling good for everybody here. I
- 52:08Speaker 1: think when she said to him this morning, what happened
- 52:10Speaker 1: in your group? I think they had had like a,
- 52:12Speaker 1: like a before breakfast coffee group.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:15Speaker 1: And one of those guys said something and he was like,
- 52:18Speaker 1: this is my new friend and I'm really feeling it
- 52:20Speaker 1: for my friend.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:22Speaker 1: And he just doesn't have a way to get it out.
- 52:24Speaker 1: So I think when she said, what happened in your group,
- 52:26Speaker 1: that just set him off. And it was something from
- 52:29Speaker 1: the morning, not from the night before. Right.
- 52:32Speaker 3: I'm just glad we're not playing take a shot every
- 52:34Speaker 3: time Michael cries.
- 52:35Speaker 1: No, no, no. Take a shot of water. Get hydrated. Yeah.
- 52:41Speaker 1: So she says, you know, you could kick, you could scream.
- 52:43Speaker 1: He says, no, I can't. And Dr. Ish says, he
- 52:45Speaker 1: knows what you've been through. And that makes him feel
- 52:48Speaker 1: like shit. And he goes, you're never going to be
- 52:51Speaker 1: happy with me. You're just not.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 52:53Speaker 1: And she's trying to touch him and he's like pulling away.
- 52:57Speaker 1: And Dr. Ish says, but Michael, that's your narrative talking,
- 53:01Speaker 1: isn't it?
- 53:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 53:02Speaker 1: And so again, somewhere along in this therapy, Dr. Ish
- 53:05Speaker 1: has explained to these people, like your inner narrative is
- 53:09Speaker 1: telling you one thing that's not the truth on the outside.
- 53:11Speaker 2: But I don't... A lot of people are like that.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 3: And then they self-sabotage because they've convinced themselves in their head.
- 53:20Speaker 3: This person is going to leave me. I am not
- 53:22Speaker 3: good enough for this person. When the whole time that
- 53:25Speaker 3: person is choosing to stay every day and love that person.
- 53:28Speaker 2: You know, he needs some major therapy.
- 53:32Speaker 1: So Michael says, I'll navigate the world thinking everything is
- 53:35Speaker 1: cool until one day you wake up and you say
- 53:37Speaker 1: you hadn't been happy in 10 fucking years. And she's like, what?
- 53:41Speaker 1: I mean, this is just something he's made up in
- 53:42Speaker 1: his head, you know? And he says, I can't be
- 53:45Speaker 1: gentle because I was raised like a fucking animal. And
- 53:49Speaker 1: that really hit me because it really does seem like
- 53:52Speaker 1: he was.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Being denied food.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Being denied food. And so he got so hard to
- 53:58Speaker 1: just block all that out, you know?
- 53:59Speaker 3: And when he says raised like an animal, we're not
- 54:02Speaker 3: talking about like how we raise our dog.
- 54:04Speaker 2: They live very low life.
- 54:05Speaker 3: These are like abused circus animals that are not treated well.
- 54:10Speaker 2: And maybe they were treated better than what he was
- 54:12Speaker 2: treated like.
- 54:12Speaker 1: It's awful. And he goes, and I can't be gentle
- 54:16Speaker 1: because I was raised like a fucking animal. And if
- 54:18Speaker 1: I can't do that, be gentle, then you won't be happy.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Because he's like spiraling. And she's like, you just assume that.
- 54:27Speaker 1: You don't know that. I believe in you because I
- 54:29Speaker 1: love you. And I love you if you're rotten. And
- 54:32Speaker 1: I love you if you're sweet. And I love you regardless.
- 54:34Speaker 1: And he's just like shaking his head. And she's like,
- 54:37Speaker 1: I loved you in that fucking jumpsuit. And I love
- 54:39Speaker 1: you now. Even if you go to bed like an
- 54:42Speaker 1: asshole and wake up, I love you just the same.
- 54:44Speaker 1: You're still my person. Right. And I didn't let you
- 54:48Speaker 1: fall in there. And I'm not going to let you
- 54:50Speaker 1: fall out here. And now she's got her hands like
- 54:52Speaker 1: on his face, which is probably got just like snot
- 54:54Speaker 1: all over it. And she goes, She's hugging him and
- 54:58Speaker 1: he's crying and he's like leaning on her shoulder. And
- 55:01Speaker 1: she's like, I love you. You are my best friend.
- 55:04Speaker 1: And this man has gone from for the streets to
- 55:08Speaker 1: crying and snotting over any person that gets within four
- 55:11Speaker 1: inches of him. So Dr. Ish is a miracle worker.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Everybody done got a little snot and a couple of
- 55:17Speaker 2: tears on them.
- 55:17Speaker 3: I think except for Alexis and Julian because I think
- 55:19Speaker 3: they're kind of scary ones.
- 55:21Speaker 2: I think they give everyone the ick.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Well, they're like, this is not a real couple. He
- 55:25Speaker 1: doesn't like her. It's really sad.
- 55:26Speaker 3: He's just living there so they can split the rent.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:31Speaker 1: And split the rent is a stretch. So Dr. Ish,
- 55:36Speaker 1: because Michael's crying and she's hugging him, and Dr. Ish says,
- 55:39Speaker 1: this is what manhood looks like and it's strength. Because
- 55:42Speaker 1: for sure, Michael thinks this looks wimpy that he's.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Well, yeah, of course.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Because you can't fucking cry like that in prison.
- 55:47Speaker 1: No. Oh, God, no. And he says, manhood looks like
- 55:50Speaker 1: this strength. Like, see how he's fighting for you right now.
- 55:54Speaker 1: And he's fighting for himself. This is strength. And he's
- 55:57Speaker 1: saying to Justine, I'm sorry. I really am. I really am.
- 56:01Speaker 1: And it says, you got one job in the next
- 56:02Speaker 1: hour is to unpack that bag. And then Justine says,
- 56:06Speaker 1: you just sat through a therapy session. And Dr. Ish goes,
- 56:10Speaker 1: you sure did. Surprise, surprise. And Mike goes, and I
- 56:13Speaker 1: didn't give him any drugs. If I would have had
- 56:17Speaker 1: more time to talk to Dr. Ish, which I didn't,
- 56:20Speaker 1: I would have asked him, how many therapists do you
- 56:23Speaker 1: know that have been on drugs? Like, is this like
- 56:25Speaker 1: a common thing that we should be looking out for?
- 56:27Speaker 1: Like Michael acts like half his clients were therapists.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing. You know, they say that doctors
- 56:33Speaker 2: and nurses, I mean, when it comes to drug users,
- 56:35Speaker 2: they are super high on the list. So, yeah, I
- 56:39Speaker 2: won't be surprised if therapists are, I mean, they're people.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Yeah, right. I know, but it's super interesting, you know.
- 56:45Speaker 2: I mean, Dr.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Ish made a joke about it, like he didn't sell
- 56:47Speaker 1: me any drugs or whatever.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Okay, over in the group, everybody's laughing. And Joey, Marcelino
- 56:55Speaker 1: just smiling. We're like, who's that guy over there? Oh,
- 56:59Speaker 1: that's Marcelino. Everybody's laughing and telling jokes. And Joey goes,
- 57:03Speaker 1: I keep telling her, like, we need to do more
- 57:05Speaker 1: things together. We need to go work out.
- 57:08Speaker 3: And she goes, you will fucking have a heart attack
- 57:10Speaker 3: on a stair climber.
- 57:13Speaker 2: No.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Also, go work out by yourself. Louie does it.
- 57:19Speaker 2: That is true.
- 57:20Speaker 1: And she goes, I'm tired. I'm working. And he goes, oh,
- 57:24Speaker 1: but you ain't too tired to go out to dinner.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I was like, oh, well, now I'm going to slap
- 57:28Speaker 1: you across the face. Because what the fuck did you
- 57:30Speaker 1: just say to me?
- 57:31Speaker 3: Just because you've been smoking enough crack to get rid
- 57:33Speaker 3: of your woman bearing hips this season.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Doesn't mean you need to be talking about what she
- 57:37Speaker 2: eats and doesn't eat.
- 57:38Speaker 1: She, you don't need to be saying to any, she
- 57:41Speaker 1: needs to go out to dinner. You shut up. Let
- 57:42Speaker 1: her take herself.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Gross. So, um, Michael and Justine come back and
- 57:48Speaker 1: everybody's like, you guys okay?
- 57:49Speaker 2: Yay.
- 57:49Speaker 1: And everybody claps. And Michael's like, oh man, I just
- 57:52Speaker 1: want to apologize to y'all. And Marcelina says, you don't
- 57:55Speaker 1: need to apologize to us. You're growing. You got a,
- 57:58Speaker 1: you got a breakdown to build up and none of
- 58:00Speaker 1: us have anything figured out. Like it's okay. Marcelina is like,
- 58:03Speaker 1: also don't hug me again, man. It's not my turn.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Okay. This snot on my leather jacket. Yeah. Take a
- 58:10Speaker 2: look right here. Just, you know, come on.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Y'all know how you see the social media posts like,
- 58:14Speaker 1: what's in your bag? Where's this girl going? What are
- 58:17Speaker 1: you doing? Well, let me tell you what's in my bag, okay?
- 58:19Speaker 1: It's very exciting. It's breath mints, my reading glasses, my wallet,
- 58:23Speaker 1: my keys, and my Thrive Cosmetics liquid lash extensions mascara,
- 58:28Speaker 1: my lip stain, and their Focus eyeshadow palette has a
- 58:31Speaker 1: mirror so you can check yourself before you wreck yourself. Like,
- 58:34Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I used that
- 58:36Speaker 1: mirror while we were in New York. And lately, I'm
- 58:38Speaker 1: just super into Thrive's Lasting Mark Lip Defining Stain. That's
- 58:42Speaker 1: also a great thing to have in your bag because
- 58:44Speaker 1: you can use it all day. I'm like lining my
- 58:46Speaker 1: lips with that stuff as much as Lisa Barlow is, okay?
- 58:49Speaker 1: But sometimes really a lip stain will dry your lips out.
- 58:52Speaker 1: But this one is hydrating and kind of feels like
- 58:54Speaker 1: your bare lips instead of being, ew, like a dry lip.
- 58:57Speaker 1: So for me, I can throw on Thrive's mascara and
- 59:00Speaker 1: this lip stain and be ready to go out into
- 59:02Speaker 1: the world for the entire day. That's all I need.
- 59:05Speaker 1: And did you know, I'm sure you did, for every
- 59:07Speaker 1: product purchased, Thrive Cosmetics does products and funds to help
- 59:11Speaker 1: communities thrive. Over $ 185 million in product and cash donations
- 59:17Speaker 1: to over 700 plus giving partners. Hello. They really, really
- 59:20Speaker 1: put their money where their mouth is, you guys, with Thrive.
- 59:22Speaker 1: And all of their products are, of course, 100% vegan,
- 59:26Speaker 1: cruelty-free and made with clean, skin-loving ingredients that work with
- 59:30Speaker 1: you and not against you. And that is what we
- 59:33Speaker 1: need as ladies of a certain age. So, get your
- 59:36Speaker 1: new everyday favorites and have 20% off your order. That's
- 59:39Speaker 1: 20% off your first order at thrivecosmetics.com slash pinkshade, okay?
- 59:44Speaker 1: 20% off your first order at thrivecosmetics.com slash pinkshade. That's
- 59:49Speaker 1: Thrive Cosmetics, C-A-U-S-E-M-E-T-I-C-S.com slash pinkshade and tell them we sent you.
- 59:59Speaker 1: So Dr. Ish goes to talk to everybody and goes, okay,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: all right, we've all heard the term fight or flight.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: So now we're going to talk about how we handle
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: combative situations. And Brittany goes, are we going to have
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: to argue again? God, I'm so tired of that. So
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: they all kind of laugh and they go outside. Now,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: think this scene was way longer because they obviously had
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: stuff on the ground that was broken and we only
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: saw each person do one side we didn't get to
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: see the other side so they just picked out what
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: was most interesting i guess so there's blocks in the
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: barrels and they're made of chalk and you pick out
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: things like what do you say during arguments so alexis
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: and julia's come up and she picks up verbal attacks
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: is how he acts during arguments and she goes he
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: just says like Why are you so dumb? Why are
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: you an idiot? You're a dumbass for doing that. Like
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you're stupid. And he goes, you know, that's just how
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I talk. And Dr. She goes, okay, but what if
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: somebody talked to your daughter like that? He goes, he goes, well, yo,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: that's different. Cause that's my daughter. And she goes, well,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I'm your woman. And I birthed that daughter.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Well, first of all, he doesn't think you're his woman.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: He doesn't. Let's just start there. No, he doesn't.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: And I don't think it would matter if he did consider.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I think that's just, I mean, and again, like her.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: But also he made a great point last week or
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: the week before where he said, I was in prison
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: from what age 17 to 27. Yes.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: That's all he knows.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: It's all he knows. Um, he grew up in prison
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: and that that's how he learned how to talk to people.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: And Dr. Ish says, but you can pick different words.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Like I'm confused right now. Can you give me a minute?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Let me think that would help. Can you, and he goes,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: let's smash it. And they do. And I was like, well, this,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I'd like to have seen way more than this.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: And I just don't think that Julius does much thinking
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: at all.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I would like to have seen what he said that
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: he's unhappy with about her or whatever. And then Dr.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Ish goes, and I want to tell you guys about
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: ABT therapy, always be touching. So they walk off with
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: their hands around each other.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: So that was nice. And he probably like wiped it. No, no.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Wiped it off on his jeans when they were done. He,
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: he just says, I, he does not like her at all.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: It's so obvious.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I think he maybe is doing this for the paycheck.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: And then also in his mind, he's like, can I
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: figure out a way to coexist with this person and,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: and co-parent and not have to deal with her on
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the daily, you know? And really we, we, we think
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: she would be way better off. She could go back
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: to nursing school. She could not look so depressed. I mean,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: She needs to love herself so that she doesn't have
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: to depend on this guy, I think.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: I think she would, if he left, I think she
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: would beg him and plead and do whatever he says
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: for him to come back.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: That's just where she's at right now.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Right now.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: So they're talking head together. They're sitting together. And he goes,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: that's just how I talk. And he goes, you know,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: and other people, you can see it, Melissa and Louie,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: that's the way she talks. And Alexis goes, okay. but
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: that doesn't make it okay.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: You know, Melissa shouldn't talk to Louie like that either.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: That's why they're there.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: So Melissa and Louie are now up there. And again,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: with the, you know, verbal abuse and he's like, that's
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: how she talks to me. You're so dumb. You're so mature.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Stop asking me this. Are you a little kid? And
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: she goes, he asks me everything. Everything. And we get it.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: We've already talked about this. And I got lots of
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: response from me, like, explaining about how that happens in
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: our house, too. So I'm like, quit putting that on me. So,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I mean, where were we? Oh, just several hours ago,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: we had to stop at a gas station. I had
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: to get coffee, and Dave got, like, a Celsius for
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: our car ride.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Oh, God, no. He did not drink that. That is
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: like cracking a can.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: He loves a Celsius. But all, all three of them
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: in my family will have one a day. John doesn't
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: have them every day, but Anna has one every, Anna
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: has one every morning and Dave will have one if
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: we're driving. Oh my God. And so I got a coffee.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: And so he walked as literally this just happened. So
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I'm over at the little coffee machine trying to figure out,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: like get my coffee, get my French vanilla cream or whatever.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: And he comes up and goes, did you pay for
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: that already? I mean, it's pouring. So obviously, and I go, no.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: And he goes, where do you think we pay? Like,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: We're by the guy who is behind the cash register.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I've also never been in this gas station. So how
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: the fuck would I know? Do you know what I mean?
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: But that is, it is a thing that people do.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: And they just like, I've never been here before. And
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I'll go, I don't know. I've never been here before.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: He goes, I know. You know.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: James is like that about movies. Like he'll ask questions
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: and say, just like it's your first time seeing this movie,
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: it's also my first time seeing this movie. So I'm
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: fucking a But around the house, I am the question asker.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Well, it's hard. It's hard. So Dr. Ish says,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: because she says, he asks me everything. And Dr. Ish goes,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: but do the verbal attacks help? And she says, no,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: it doesn't help you. It doesn't help you get what
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: you want. And he goes, let's try a new tactic.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: And she laughs and goes, as long as it's not ABT.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: She says not as a person who's not very affectionate.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: With adults.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I understand that. And I am with someone who's like Louie,
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: who's overly affectionate. So like, literally like James has, that
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: means that he has to have a therapy session about that.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: Because it makes them feel like, I show you love
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: and all these other ways. I just don't want to
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: smother on a person that, all day, every day. So
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: I kind of get what they're both saying right there.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I get what they're both saying and they've had different
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: sort of ways of showing love, but that's a whole
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: separate issue.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: But she also talks to Amin.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: She talks to Amin. So then she laughs and goes,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: as long as not ABT. And he goes, oh, I'm
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: about to prescribe a lot of ABT for you. So
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: just get ready. And they're like, oh shit.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: I'm packing my bags now.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Brittany and Marcelino, she says, for four years, we were
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: so awful to each other But yesterday we both apologized
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: to each other and I think we really hurt each other.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: And he goes, I knew her story, but I didn't
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: realize how my mistake cut her and affected her so deep.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: And she goes, I really heard him. I heard his
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: apology and I've got no reservations about it anymore. Like
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: it's gone now. And no matter what way we go,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for him and all the things I've
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: learned in the last 10 years. And I've genuinely made
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: peace with it.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: I don't believe her.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: And Dr. Ish says, all right, so you guys don't
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: have this, right? Like you don't want to, you don't
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: want to do this because you worked it out yesterday.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: So let's imagine the word on the block is the past,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: which I was like, why don't you just have a
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: marker so you could write anyway. And we'll say, this
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: is the past and you both smash it. And they do.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: And she, she goes and hugs him and it's sweet.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: And it's sweet.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I'm sick. I don't feel like that's going to.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Be, I'm sick. They can't work it out. I am.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: but I'm hopefully they can just like be friends. Yeah.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Justina Michael. She says he does verbal attacks and they,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: and now remember they just had this whole breakdown thing.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: And he goes, what do you mean? Like how? And
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: he goes, she says, he will say things like, if
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: this is how you are, I understand why he was
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: like that with you.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: The way that Dr.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Ish went, like, The way he looked at him, like
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: everyone was shocked.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: I was shocked too.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I was shocked.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Like, Whoa, like that's below the belt.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: And then he says, this is how I be feeling.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: And then he says, um, if you act like a female,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: then see how I act because I can be gentle,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: but you boss up and act like a dude.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: And she goes, but you come at me like an inmate.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: And if you think I'm about to be on the
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: floor again, I'm not about to be. It's never happening again.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: So I think it's good. I think that he speaks
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: rudely to her and she doesn't just take it. She
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: gets limpy back. And then he says, you act like
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: a dude. Well, that's not acting like a dude. That's
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: just somebody who's standing up for yourself. And he says,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I'm not him. And she says, yeah, but when you
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: act like that, I think to myself, wow, I was
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: a dumb bitch for 12 years. And now I'm about
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: to be a dumb bitch again. And don't start with
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: the like, it's just talk because his started with the
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: talk too.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: That's why it always starts.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: And I was like, great point. Great point.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: And he goes, but man, I don't do that shit.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: And she goes.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: I can't see him putting his hand. on her. I
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: really can't.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I can't either. And she goes, I know that. And
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: he starts crying again. And Dr. Ish says, he did.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: He started crying again.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Really? Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: He did.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: He cried this whole goddamn episode.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: And Dr. Ish says to Justine, you're accusing him of
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: being somebody he's not. And we have a thing called
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: hypervigilant where we overreact when we're in a situation where
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: we don't feel safe. And Michael, the man I've seen,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: you're better than that, bro.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: And Michael nods and he goes, can you drop the
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: verbal attacks? And he says, yes. And he smashes the
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: block and they hug.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Again, I think this went on way longer and they
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: cut it way down.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Of course.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: So Kimberly and Joey. All right. Think about what they do.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: what she does in a fight. So we're trying to
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: like put a little bit on Kimberly, like maybe she's mean.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: And he goes, oh, okay, great. I'm actually about to
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: get to say something about her. Okay, here we go.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: So he pulls out all these blocks, emotional withholding.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: He doesn't know what that means. No, I didn't know.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Verbal attack. He's like, I know what an attack is.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: I don't know what verbal means.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Aggression, ultimatums.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: And so he doesn't know what that word means. He
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: didn't even say that word.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: And Dr. Ish goes, okay, so what is an ultimatum that,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: now production, tell them what it means, that she gives you?
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: And he goes, oh, she might say you better tighten
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: up or it's over. And she says, I do that
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: because I've done it for two years. I've taken all
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: I can take. And didn't I say quit doing drugs
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: or I'm leaving? And he goes, yeah. And she goes,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: and what happened? He goes, I quit. And she goes,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: so it worked.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: It didn't work.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: And she says, I mean it when I say it.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: And I'm not saying it to hurt you. It's to
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: make you understand how deep I feel. I need you
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: to focus on your sobriety by going to the meetings.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: He goes, okay. And she goes, prove it. You're not
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: proving that you're sober by going to the meetings. You
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: have to focus on it. So I think he's sort
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: of like, yeah, I'm going to go to a meeting tomorrow.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: But I mean, this guy needs to be in a
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: meeting every day, if not twice a day.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Yeah, because I doubt he has a job.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: How can he hold a job?
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: They can't.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: So people that are this early in their recovery or
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: trying so hard. And I think Brittany could tell you,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and I think Louie could tell you, you got to
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: go to a meeting every day or sometimes twice a day.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Right. He's got the time.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: He's got the time. And if he doesn't have the time,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: he can go after work. I mean, there's a meeting
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: every hour all around that town. So he goes, I
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: don't know how to change it. He goes, I went
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: through so much trauma trying to call it quit. So
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: now he's saying, He went through trauma just trying to
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: quit drugs. So he goes, you know that story about
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: that time I woke up at this stop sign. I
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: was at a stop sign. I nodded out and I
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: had a car and my foot was on the brake,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: but I had a car next to me, a woman saying,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: do you need Narcan? And a tractor trailer was coming
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: my way. Holy shit. That would have been a wake
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: up call. So that day he went to a methadone clinic. Okay.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: We know that people then get addicted to methadone. So
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: he goes, but I got the methadone and they move
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: me up from 30 to 130, whatever he was saying,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: the milligrams. And Dr. Ish goes, that's a lot.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: That's a lot.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: That's a lot. And he goes, I know. He goes,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: they give it away like water. And he goes, and
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: so a few weeks after I went and picked the
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: kids up, but then I woke up the same way
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: at a stop sign with the kids in the back.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: She goes, what? He goes, so that day I stopped
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the methadone. So he's trying to say my trauma was
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: that I woke up with the kids in the car.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: He's trying to say that's his trauma.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: No, you traumatized those fucking kids. It's what you did.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: And you just traumatized Kimberly. And I can't believe neither
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: one of those kids, because they're seven and five, didn't say.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: I can't believe they didn't say something. I think.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: He fell asleep in the car and somebody almost hit
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: us or something.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: I honestly feel like she already knew. But I feel
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: like she was like, I can't believe you just said
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: it in front of all these people. Because her reaction
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: wasn't big enough.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: But I think we're going to see the reaction next week.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I think they cut it there. So you see everybody
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: else going, wait, is he saying... God bless Alexis, you know,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: that she had to put those bands around her head
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: and squeeze her brain a little bit. She goes, is
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: he saying he did that with the kids in the car?
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: She can't even think right.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: And Justine's like, yeah. So they're all like, whoa. So
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: he's saying... His trauma is that he got so fucked
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: up that he fell asleep at a stop sign with
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: the kids in the car. And I'm like, bro, that's
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: not your trauma. You did it. You did that. So anyway, listen, listen,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I understand he traumatized himself by realizing what a piece
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: of shit he was. Like, I get what he's saying.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Like he realized right that day, I have a real
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: problem that I can't control around these children.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: But he wasn't the victim.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: But he wasn't the victim here. The kids were, but anyway,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Joey's got a lot of work to do. So anyway,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Next time on, Melissa asked Louie, you know, are you
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: second guessing getting married? And he was like, well, why
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: would I want to get married to somebody who doesn't
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: want to get married? You know? So Alexis, and it
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: seems to be like this is in a group session
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: that Alexis asked Julius, if we didn't have the kid,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: would you be with me? Because you see her bawling,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: crying and him walking out of the room and we
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: see everybody else's faces like, we already knew the answer
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: to that.
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: I was going to say, sometimes you don't need to
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: ask a question when you already have the answer.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: God bless her. So then we see Brittany saying to
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: somebody like, I'm not in love with Marcelino anymore. I mean,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: they've been separated two years. She's not in love with
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: him anymore, but she loves him. Yeah. And then we
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: just see Dr. Ish say, what did you do? And
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Joey goes, I snorted it. And Dr. Ish says, will
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you do a pee test? We see Dr. Ish go
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: into the bathroom with Joey. and joey is telling the
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: camera i ain't never been able to say i'm completely
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: clean and then we see him doing that calling uber
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: i'm out and we see a van door close now
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: we this is a matt sharp fake out we don't
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: know if it's him left we don't know if joey's
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: saying i snorted it was from a different occasion like
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: he snorted the methadone or something right um But anyway,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: if he is high, whatever, we don't know. We don't know.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: And this is a good thing. And also, guys, we
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: have access to like three ahead screeners.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Well, we don't watch.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Well, I don't watch ahead because I want to like
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: watch it as you guys are watching it. Now, a
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: lot of people also, as we're ending here, a lot
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: of people do ask, where can I watch this? So
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: if you don't have just regular cable and you can
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: DVR it, you can get it on that app. It
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: used to be called All Black and now it's called
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: All Reality. That's where Kimberly watches it. Other people say
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: they watch like a terrible bootleg version on YouTube, but
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: somebody posted this week that if you wait long enough
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: to where enough episodes in and you pay for a
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: month of, or you just pay for a trial of
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: all black, you can watch them all. You can watch
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: them all. So I will tell you that it's nine
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: episodes total. We're on episode three. So if you want
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: to like, um, you know, pace it out and see,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: then you can watch all. I would really recommend watching
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: this show. Some people say like, it's such a downer
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: and it is, but I really think that it's kind
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: of making us see these.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: People that we talk about differently.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: For years. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Listen, I mean, I still think Joey's got a serious problem,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: but I would like to see how this is going
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: to resolve if she's going to leave him or, or what?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: I just be the biggest fool if she didn't.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I agree, but, you know, I used to be with addiction.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I felt bad, and then I just wanted to get better.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: But he's got a long way to go.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: Well, he hasn't even started.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: God bless.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Bless.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Everybody, send good healing vibes to Keisha's COVID.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm going to get my COVID and flu
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: shot next week. I got to get all vaccinated myself.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: And my son's already had the flu, so I guess
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: he's good to go.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: He should come in a year.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: We went to pick him up this morning. It was
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Sunday morning at his house to go take him to
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: brunch before we left. And he came out of that
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: house limping worse than me on my worst plantar fasciitis day.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I was like, what happened? What happened? He goes, oh,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: rolled my ankle last night. I was like, okay, dummy.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: So I just went to the Walgreens and bought him
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: an ankle brace. I was like, go to the medical
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: center if you need to. I don't know. Because I
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: was like, should we take you to the urgent care?
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: And he's like, no, I'll walk it off.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: That's a typical boy.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I'm going to walk it off.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Typical boy. Okay. Now, the girls, they're claiming they need
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: an orthopedic surgery. ER.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Directly to the ER.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Yeah.

- 1:18:22Speaker 1: It's The Libra Lounge with Keisha, not Peisha. I'm tired.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Okay. Not Peisha. I don't know a girl named Peisha.

- 1:19:00Speaker 1: going to talk about Salt Lake and all that stuff too,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: but that he specifically asked to come on to talk
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: about that. Oh, nice. I'll be recording that on our birthdays.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: You guys, Keisha and I are, turning very different ages,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: but on the same day, October 21st.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: Yes, we are.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Jace was asking me last night. I was like, I
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: think she's five, eight this year.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: We don't have to talk about it, but yeah, I'll
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: be 58. I'll be 58.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: And I'll be four, seven, four, seven.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Not like, no, seven. Okay. All right, guys, we'll see
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: you next week.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Bye. Bye.
