- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's Mark Simone here. Welcome to the bonus segment.
- 0:03Speaker 1: This is for you podcast listeners. We give you an
- 0:06Speaker 1: extra show every week. A lot happened this week. It's spring,
- 0:10Speaker 1: winter is over. Iran continues behind the scenes. People expect
- 0:16Speaker 1: these straits of hormoose to be opened pretty soon, a
- 0:18Speaker 1: week or two. War to be wrapped up in three weeks,
- 0:23Speaker 1: four weeks or so. But not if you watch MSNBC
- 0:27Speaker 1: or Fake News or CNN Fact that crazy MSNBC. You
- 0:31Speaker 1: know that Senator Mark Kelly, that Trump hating, angry, vicious
- 0:36Speaker 1: Senator Mark Kelly, the one that told the soldiers don't
- 0:40Speaker 1: follow any illegal orders and that gotten all kinds of mess.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So there he is on MSNBC, and they allow this
- 0:48Speaker 1: crap to go on. First of all, I know he's
- 0:51Speaker 1: a military guy, a combat veteran, did a couple of twos.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know. But he knows nothing
- 0:56Speaker 1: about what's going on in Iran. But they put him
- 0:59Speaker 1: on the air if he's got some sort of insight
- 1:01Speaker 1: in special knowledge. He's on MBS. Men be seen. They're
- 1:04Speaker 1: let them go on and on and on. The problem
- 1:07Speaker 1: here is Trump has no goal, no plan, no exit strategy.
- 1:12Speaker 1: This is what we had feared the most. He doesn't
- 1:16Speaker 1: know what he's talking about. He has no idea about
- 1:19Speaker 1: the planning on this war, no idea. What I guarantee
- 1:23Speaker 1: you there was tremendous planning. And I know Trump and
- 1:27Speaker 1: those military guys, they'll come in. It's always the same thing.
- 1:30Speaker 1: They give you three choices. When you're the president. The military,
- 1:33Speaker 1: the generals that come in, sir, you have three. They
- 1:36Speaker 1: call them Coah's course of action. There are three possible
- 1:39Speaker 1: courses of action. They lay out the three and the
- 1:42Speaker 1: president picks one. Now, with Trump, that's not going to happen.
- 1:46Speaker 1: He wants thirty choices. He'll sit there and start questioning everybody.
- 1:51Speaker 1: They'll go and do excruciating detail on every choice. Everything,
- 1:55Speaker 1: they'll customize it all to it come up with exactly
- 1:58Speaker 1: the right plan. Trump is a planning freak. He's also
- 2:03Speaker 1: a guy who has to see everything, whatever the situation.
- 2:06Speaker 1: He'll research, investigate, call, make a million phone calls, find
- 2:09Speaker 1: out every detail. So when you watch a Mark Kelly,
- 2:11Speaker 1: there's no goal. Trump always has a goal. Well, there
- 2:17Speaker 1: was no planning. There was endless planning. There's no exit strategy.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I guarantee you they've got six exit strategies ready to go.
- 2:24Speaker 1: So just totally irresponsible for MSNBCCNN to allow people like
- 2:29Speaker 1: that on the air. Now watch, you'll see them on
- 2:30Speaker 1: all the Sunday shows, the same guy who knows absolutely nothing,
- 2:35Speaker 1: and they'll have him on as if he's giving you
- 2:37Speaker 1: incredible insight into what happened. Now these Democrats will does
- 2:43Speaker 1: anything shock you anymore? But the way they vote. They
- 2:46Speaker 1: had a bill they were voting on about deporting people
- 2:50Speaker 1: who commit welfare fraud, and that's a big problem here
- 2:53Speaker 1: in this country, you know, with something like nineteen billion
- 2:55Speaker 1: in Minnesota. This welfare fraud just stealing from our government.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And throughout the history of the United States, we always
- 3:02Speaker 1: deported people when they got caught committing a crime if
- 3:05Speaker 1: they were not full citizens here. But they put it
- 3:09Speaker 1: up for a vote and Democrats voted against it. How
- 3:13Speaker 1: dare you deport somebody committing welfare fraud. We need to
- 3:16Speaker 1: keep them here. Democrats voted against it. The vote was
- 3:21Speaker 1: two thirty one six to approve the Deporting Fraudsters Acts,
- 3:25Speaker 1: but one hundred and eighty six Democrats oppose the measure. Now,
- 3:32Speaker 1: Democrats love having all the illegals here, and you know,
- 3:35Speaker 1: a lot of Republicans do too. Government Republicans, it's a force.
- 3:40Speaker 1: It's a slave labor force. You know, if you're here illegally,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you really don't have as many rights, and employers can
- 3:47Speaker 1: pay you less, they can pay you below minimum wage
- 3:50Speaker 1: if you're here illegally. So it's a great form of
- 3:53Speaker 1: slave labor. Democrats fighting to keep it. Republicans, some Republicans
- 3:58Speaker 1: in Congress. Businesses they kind of like that. Hey, CBS
- 4:04Speaker 1: had a terrible week this week. A lot of layoffs
- 4:06Speaker 1: at the news division. The whole company laying off. They're
- 4:09Speaker 1: probably going to lay off fifteen percent of their workforce.
- 4:12Speaker 1: They got rid of the CBS Radio News division. Wow.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And CBS Evening News. You know they got that new anchor,
- 4:19Speaker 1: Tony Well, here's part of the problem. The hell you
- 4:22Speaker 1: say this name? Tony docal pill, Doca pill, Doca pill.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I don't know what his name is. No one's going
- 4:28Speaker 1: to know. He'll be there another few months. Why bother
- 4:30Speaker 1: to learn the name? But the CBS Evening News now
- 4:33Speaker 1: fell below for the first time and four million viewers.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It's below four million, three point eight million viewers. Wow. Now,
- 4:42Speaker 1: David Muir on ABC eight and a half million. That's
- 4:46Speaker 1: a big difference, eight and a half million, and CBS
- 4:48Speaker 1: has got three point eight nightly news NBC Tom Jamis,
- 4:54Speaker 1: that's not so bad. Six point five million, still way
- 4:56Speaker 1: below David Muir way out in front. He did you
- 5:00Speaker 1: see if you're watching the Oscars, did you see Jane
- 5:03Speaker 1: Fonda on the red carpet and all that stuff. She
- 5:06Speaker 1: looked pretty good for eighty eight. Obviously a lot of
- 5:09Speaker 1: plastic surgery, but really well done. You know, you see
- 5:13Speaker 1: a lot of these people who get their endless plastic
- 5:16Speaker 1: surgery and they look plastic, and it looks fake, and
- 5:18Speaker 1: it looks like they went to a body and fender shop.
- 5:21Speaker 1: But she her stuff looks so real and natural. She's
- 5:24Speaker 1: eighty eight and going to work. She wants to try
- 5:28Speaker 1: for a third Oscar, a new film version of The
- 5:31Speaker 1: Correspondent based on the novel. She will not only be
- 5:34Speaker 1: in it, she'll produce, she'll star in it. That's a
- 5:37Speaker 1: lot of work at eighty eight. She's already won a
- 5:40Speaker 1: few Oscars well, she wants another Oscar nomination. She won
- 5:45Speaker 1: Best Actress Award for Clute, also for Coming Home, and
- 5:50Speaker 1: has a whole bunch of nominations so she could be
- 5:52Speaker 1: up for another one. You know, Bill Gates, he's all
- 5:56Speaker 1: tangled up with Epstein. It is really bad with the
- 5:59Speaker 1: Epstein stuff. Remember his whole fake Well, I had a
- 6:02Speaker 1: meeting with him about philanthropy. Yeah, the meeting was at
- 6:05Speaker 1: night for like twelve hours. He was there multiple times.
- 6:10Speaker 1: His wife left them over it. So he went from
- 6:13Speaker 1: that to finally confessing that he was with a couple
- 6:15Speaker 1: of Russian women that came from gatesworld, and then the
- 6:20Speaker 1: story Epstein world. The story is that there was some
- 6:23Speaker 1: sexually transmitted disease and Epstein had to arrange for him
- 6:27Speaker 1: to get to a kind of an off the record
- 6:30Speaker 1: doctor and get some medication. You know. One thing Bill
- 6:34Speaker 1: Gates does. He set up this thing called the Giving
- 6:37Speaker 1: Pledge where zillionaires sign up for this Giving Pledge. And
- 6:41Speaker 1: what it is is, when you die, all your money
- 6:44Speaker 1: goes to philanthropy. When you die, all your money goes
- 6:47Speaker 1: to philanthropy. And a lot of big names signed up
- 6:49Speaker 1: for it, a lot of those Silicon Valley guys and
- 6:52Speaker 1: a lot of zillionaires signed up for it, and Warren
- 6:54Speaker 1: Buffett was behind it, and it was put together by
- 6:58Speaker 1: Bill Gates. It's kind of you know, if you want
- 7:00Speaker 1: to give your money to philanthropy, you just give it
- 7:02Speaker 1: to philanthropy, don't need to sign up for the Giving
- 7:05Speaker 1: Pledge and have your plastered all over the website and
- 7:07Speaker 1: take credit for it. But apparently this Giving Pledge is
- 7:12Speaker 1: falling apart. Many of them say it's too Epstein connected
- 7:17Speaker 1: now because of Bill Gates. In fact, the great billionaire
- 7:21Speaker 1: Peter Teal, he's one of the few of these billionaires,
- 7:25Speaker 1: Silicon Valley guys who are a Republican conservative. But he
- 7:28Speaker 1: said the Giving Pledge is now to Epstein adjacent. It's
- 7:32Speaker 1: a fake boomer club. He's now urging fellow billionaires, including
- 7:37Speaker 1: Elon Musk, abandon the Giving Pledge get the hell away
- 7:40Speaker 1: from it. First of all, he said, the whole thing
- 7:42Speaker 1: is ridiculous, and he's right about this is the problem
- 7:46Speaker 1: that Giving Pledge. It's not just you give away all
- 7:48Speaker 1: your money, but they designate the charities, and Peter Tiele
- 7:53Speaker 1: pointing out they're all left wing nonprofits chosen by Bill Gates,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and those left wing nonprofits tend to do the most
- 8:00Speaker 1: useless stuff. I know it's as global health and all that,
- 8:03Speaker 1: but it doesn't do anything pretty in particular climate initiatives,
- 8:08Speaker 1: diversity programs. Again, a total waste of your philanthropy dollars.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Put them into something more practical. And critics have also
- 8:17Speaker 1: pointed out this giving pledge has absolutely no enforcement mechanism,
- 8:22Speaker 1: doesn't track if anybody actually really donates their money or
- 8:26Speaker 1: just says it on the website. Yeah, so forget that
- 8:30Speaker 1: giving pledge. It's now totally totally, just got a cloud
- 8:37Speaker 1: all over it. Now, these crazy democrats in New York
- 8:41Speaker 1: City Council, all these crazy left wing democrats just sit
- 8:44Speaker 1: around dreaming up the most crazy things to do. They
- 8:49Speaker 1: now are planning City Council members, the left wing ones
- 8:51Speaker 1: are considering all kinds of new legislation to crack down
- 8:56Speaker 1: on the self checkout line in the supermarket. You know,
- 9:00Speaker 1: the problem is you've got all kinds of criminals everywhere.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Shoplifting is not a crime anymore in New York. They
- 9:08Speaker 1: don't enforce it. You can do it in the drug store,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you can do it everywhere. So that's why everything is
- 9:12Speaker 1: locked out. But they want to go after businesses. I
- 9:17Speaker 1: don't know why. They just want to shut down these
- 9:19Speaker 1: self checkout things. They'd first, they want to pass a bill.
- 9:23Speaker 1: It's a fifteen item limit on self checkout and at
- 9:28Speaker 1: least one employee has to be there to watch the
- 9:31Speaker 1: self checkout. Well, if you got the employee there, they
- 9:34Speaker 1: could be the cash here. If it doesn't happen, they
- 9:36Speaker 1: want to find one hundred dollars to the business. We've
- 9:39Speaker 1: seen the consequence of removing workers from these spaces. It
- 9:43Speaker 1: means increased retail theft lest oversight. Well, they're not worried
- 9:46Speaker 1: about retail theft. MT's just pass the law that the
- 9:50Speaker 1: district attorney has to prosecute shoplifters and that's the end
- 9:53Speaker 1: of it. Right now, they don't. They let them all go,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and that's why these people shoplift. It's again one Queen's
- 9:59Speaker 1: Republican saying typical backwards leftist logic. So, hey, we're talking
- 10:05Speaker 1: on the show this week about oil prices. Gas prices.
- 10:08Speaker 1: You know, they plunged everywhere under President Trump, but not
- 10:11Speaker 1: in New York, not in California. In New York they
- 10:14Speaker 1: continued to stay high because of state tax and all
- 10:17Speaker 1: that stuff. Same thing in California. They tax that stuff
- 10:20Speaker 1: to death, and they don't have a pipeline to California.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's one reason they don't have as much oil as
- 10:27Speaker 1: they should, as much gas. In California, there's no pipeline.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Why isn't there a pipeline. They wouldn't allow it because
- 10:33Speaker 1: of environmental reasons. They wouldn't allow the building of a pipeline.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So they got to get more oil in California. President
- 10:40Speaker 1: Trump is now going to sign an executive order ordering
- 10:44Speaker 1: drilling operations in California. The Energy Department said there's a
- 10:48Speaker 1: couple of facilities there that can produce fifty thousand barrels
- 10:52Speaker 1: a day. President Trump will order them to resume drilling
- 10:56Speaker 1: operations and start producing oil. Now, this is going to
- 11:01Speaker 1: get newso and those people nuts, they'll start going crazy.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Speaking of Newsom, he got a lot of flak this week.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell he was thinking. He just,
- 11:10Speaker 1: you know how he rants and raves and makes all
- 11:12Speaker 1: kinds of crazy claims. So he talked about how Florida
- 11:16Speaker 1: and Texas are the real high tax states, not California.
- 11:19Speaker 1: It's Florida and Texas that have the high taxes. Well,
- 11:23Speaker 1: they don't have any tax. There's no state tax in
- 11:25Speaker 1: either state. Obviously, DeSantis spoke up and everybody just amazed,
- 11:31Speaker 1: even the Washington, D C. Based Tax Foundation said Newsom's
- 11:36Speaker 1: claims there just insane, insane, It's just crazy. Of course,
- 11:41Speaker 1: of course there's no tax in Texas or Florida, so
- 11:43Speaker 1: you got to wonder about a guy that desperate. It'll
- 11:46Speaker 1: just start out and outlying. Now, people leaving California like crazy.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Even the guy that founded Uber, Travis Kalanak, he's the
- 11:56Speaker 1: founder of Uber, leaving California. Just announced he's moving to Texas.
- 12:01Speaker 1: The states are pushing They don't only have the highest taxes,
- 12:04Speaker 1: but they want to push this special, big, one time,
- 12:07Speaker 1: enormous tax on billionaire. So many of them are moving
- 12:11Speaker 1: out of the state just to get away from that thing. Hey,
- 12:14Speaker 1: Barack Obama the Presidential Library. You know, every ex president
- 12:19Speaker 1: builds a library, usually a beautiful building. People work there.
- 12:23Speaker 1: In case of Obama, it's the ugliest building ever seen.
- 12:28Speaker 1: They're asking for unpaid volunteers. They don't want to pay you,
- 12:31Speaker 1: they just want you to volunteer. Meantime, the CEO of
- 12:34Speaker 1: the Obama Presidential Center, Valerie Jarrett, remember her making eight
- 12:39Speaker 1: hundred thousand a year. Eight hundred thousand a year. That's
- 12:42Speaker 1: a lot for a nonprofit, you know, nonprofit. Maybe the
- 12:46Speaker 1: head gets three hundred maybe four hundred, eight hundred thousand
- 12:50Speaker 1: a year, a little ridiculous. Total salaries and benefits at
- 12:53Speaker 1: this nonprofit went up to about nineteen million, then they
- 12:58Speaker 1: went to forty three million. It keeps expanding. Apparently financially.
- 13:03Speaker 1: The whole thing is totally out of control. They're building
- 13:05Speaker 1: the ugliest building anybody's ever seen. Supposed to be fifty million.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I think they're up to a billion and a half
- 13:12Speaker 1: now for this building. Absolutely ridiculous. More than fifty percent
- 13:17Speaker 1: of the construction contracts went to diverse firms, and they say,
- 13:22Speaker 1: as a result, most of the work is not getting
- 13:24Speaker 1: done on time, not getting done very well. It's just
- 13:27Speaker 1: a total disaster. Another example of the management skill of
- 13:32Speaker 1: baronck Obama. Hey we're out of time, but I'll be
- 13:35Speaker 1: back Monday. I'm here every weekday ten to noon. You
- 13:38Speaker 1: can listen live on iHeart or a seven to ten
- 13:41Speaker 1: WR or get the podcast any place you get podcasts.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Welcome to Spring twenty twenty six. Mark Simone here, Thanks
- 13:48Speaker 1: for listening.
