- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven tor Boy, The Mark Simoon Show starts.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Now. Well, hey, it's Tuesday's a beautiful day's gonna be
- 0:14Speaker 2: near eighty degrees today. Spring is definitely here. We got
- 0:18Speaker 2: a lot to get to. We'll get to a President Trump, obviously,
- 0:22Speaker 2: we'll get to Iran. We'll get to Hey, this is interesting.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Warren Buffett has broken up with Bill Gates. That's the
- 0:28Speaker 2: end of that friendship. We'll get to Bruce Blakeman. He's
- 0:31Speaker 2: making real progress and scaring the hell out of the
- 0:34Speaker 2: local campaign. We'll get the crazy mayor mom. Donnie looking
- 0:39Speaker 2: at the at the President's schedule today, a lot of meetings,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and then tonight he's going to the Kennedy Center with
- 0:47Speaker 2: the Miladnia. They're gonna go see the musical Chicago. Tonight's
- 0:50Speaker 2: opening night at the Kennedy Center. He will sit there
- 0:54Speaker 2: and watch that show. It's a great show, great music.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Although I remember years ago going to a couple of
- 1:00Speaker 2: Broadway musicals with Donald Trump at the time married to
- 1:04Speaker 2: Marlon Maples and sitting next to him and he, you know,
- 1:09Speaker 2: he's just like me. When it comes to a Broadway musical.
- 1:11Speaker 2: They're great. But after about forty five minutes you're like
- 1:14Speaker 2: looking at your watch. How much longer is this? And
- 1:18Speaker 2: he turns to me and he said, how does anybody
- 1:21Speaker 2: sit through this? And does anybody really like this? For
- 1:23Speaker 2: two hours? And then we both turn and look and
- 1:25Speaker 2: there's Marla cheering and clapping and some there are people
- 1:28Speaker 2: that love that stuff. But it's tough for him to
- 1:31Speaker 2: sit through that for two hours, but he'll do it.
- 1:35Speaker 2: The press will be there, of course, trying to get
- 1:37Speaker 2: a picture of him with his eyes closed, pretending he's
- 1:39Speaker 2: fallen asleep, although in this case he may have actually
- 1:41Speaker 2: fallen asleep. But it's a great, great musical. So let
- 1:46Speaker 2: me just explain something about President Trump for all you
- 1:50Speaker 2: Trump haters out there. You know, they call it Trump
- 1:51Speaker 2: derangement syndrome. And there's all these angry people just raging
- 1:57Speaker 2: on the CNN on MSNBC and then the low IQ
- 2:02Speaker 2: shows like The View and all that. He wakes up
- 2:06Speaker 2: every morning and thinks of how to make your heads explode,
- 2:12Speaker 2: how to rile you up. It's deliberate. I mean, most
- 2:14Speaker 2: of what he does is based on longtime principles and
- 2:17Speaker 2: what he thinks would be best for the country. But
- 2:20Speaker 2: he also really does sometimes sit there and think what
- 2:23Speaker 2: could I do to really get them crazy, to really
- 2:26Speaker 2: rile them up, just drive them nuts, And then he'll
- 2:30Speaker 2: do something and just knee jerk Instantly you all start
- 2:35Speaker 2: screaming and yelling about this. And it's a brilliant strategy
- 2:40Speaker 2: because he's now he's got you battling him on an
- 2:42Speaker 2: issue he's chosen. So he'll choose something he wants to do,
- 2:48Speaker 2: like get rid of the Ayatola or whatever it is,
- 2:52Speaker 2: or you know, get all the illegal aliens, the criminal
- 2:55Speaker 2: ones off the street to port and you'll go nuts
- 2:57Speaker 2: and you'll start battling, and you don't realize he picked
- 3:01Speaker 2: the issue. He picked an eighty twenty issue where in
- 3:03Speaker 2: the end you're going to suffer with the public because
- 3:06Speaker 2: you're on the opposite side of them. So he does
- 3:09Speaker 2: that all the time. You know, like the Straits of
- 3:11Speaker 2: Hormoose has become even more important in the last week
- 3:14Speaker 2: than anything else in the war. And you've got all
- 3:17Speaker 2: the left wing of people on television screaming and yelling.
- 3:21Speaker 2: When is it going to get the Straits of Hormose open?
- 3:23Speaker 2: What if it wasn't the straights or first of all,
- 3:25Speaker 2: it has no effect on the United States. We don't
- 3:28Speaker 2: get any oil from the Straits of Hormoose. Doesn't affect us. Now,
- 3:31Speaker 2: you may point out, yeah, but the price went up
- 3:33Speaker 2: to four dollars a gallon. Yeah, but the airlines are
- 3:35Speaker 2: now saying there's gonna be a fuel surcharge. Yeah, but
- 3:38Speaker 2: the price accrude in this country, all artificial, no reason
- 3:42Speaker 2: for it. We don't get any oil the Straits of Hormose.
- 3:45Speaker 2: It doesn't affect the US. Now, these oil companies and
- 3:48Speaker 2: these governments will continue to raise price of state governments,
- 3:51Speaker 2: local governments just because it's a good, perfect time to
- 3:54Speaker 2: cash in. But we don't get any oil from there.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It doesn't affect us. We're totally now, thanks to President
- 3:59Speaker 2: true first term, totally energy independent. We got more oil
- 4:03Speaker 2: than we need. We're actually exporting oil right now. And
- 4:07Speaker 2: the other thing to remember, Straits of horm Moose being closed.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You know who gets damaged the most by that, Iran.
- 4:15Speaker 2: That's how they make money selling oil, exporting oil. So
- 4:19Speaker 2: with the straits closed, they're the ones that suffer. It's
- 4:22Speaker 2: killing them, it's killing their economy. In fact, it's going
- 4:25Speaker 2: to collapse their economy. To keep the Straits of Hormose closed.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It also kills their currency. It causes the tremendous economic
- 4:35Speaker 2: damage to the country. So it's really their problem. Now.
- 4:38Speaker 2: The other thing you'll hear from all these crazies is
- 4:40Speaker 2: why didn't they Why didn't they know that the straits
- 4:42Speaker 2: of Hormose we get closed. Why didn't they anticipate this?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Why didn't they? Now this is the dumbest criticism ever.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Of course, it was the first thing they anticipated. For
- 4:53Speaker 2: two reasons. One, in every battle war, every time in
- 4:56Speaker 2: the Middle East, Iraq War, Iran War, the tanker wars,
- 5:01Speaker 2: remember the Iraq, Iran War, Golf war, every war, the
- 5:04Speaker 2: straits of Hormus is immediately closed. That's the first thing
- 5:06Speaker 2: that always happens. We know that also, you know, you
- 5:09Speaker 2: always hear this with they don't have battle plans. They
- 5:11Speaker 2: didn't plan. There was no planning in this war. There
- 5:13Speaker 2: was not only the most detailed planning imaginable. It had
- 5:17Speaker 2: been taking place over the last forty years. For forty years,
- 5:21Speaker 2: the Pentagon has been planning war with Iraq. Forty years
- 5:27Speaker 2: of this planning and it's been updated every week. This
- 5:30Speaker 2: forty years of planning a war with Iraq, and they've
- 5:33Speaker 2: been not only planning it. They've been testing it. They've
- 5:35Speaker 2: been doing you know, test runs, battle plans, tabletop exercises,
- 5:40Speaker 2: war games. And in fact, there's a general who was in
- 5:44Speaker 2: on this planning. He's out of office. Night's retired, but he
- 5:47Speaker 2: was in on the planning of years ago, and he said,
- 5:50Speaker 2: according to all the planning we did and how it
- 5:51Speaker 2: would go, we're actually way ahead of schedule. It's going
- 5:55Speaker 2: much better than the planning ever indicated. So there's plenty
- 5:58Speaker 2: of planning, you know. And then you'll see the New
- 6:00Speaker 2: York Times yelling and it's going to we have fifty
- 6:02Speaker 2: thousand troops there. This is unbelievable. How did we end
- 6:06Speaker 2: up in it wearing a horrible situation? Fifty thousand troops
- 6:08Speaker 2: are there? Now, that's the New York Times trying to
- 6:12Speaker 2: con the audience, so they don't point out, before this
- 6:15Speaker 2: war began, we had forty thousand troops there, so it's
- 6:18Speaker 2: not that much of a difference. Forty thousand troops were
- 6:20Speaker 2: stationed in the region in the same place before the
- 6:23Speaker 2: war started. So don't get don't get conned by all
- 6:28Speaker 2: of this fake news. But there's a couple of things
- 6:31Speaker 2: coming again. He wakes up every morning and tries to
- 6:35Speaker 2: think of how to make your heads explode, you Trumpeters.
- 6:37Speaker 2: But a couple of things are coming that's really going
- 6:42Speaker 2: to cause some problems. One Governor DeSantis signed it yesterday.
- 6:46Speaker 2: They want to rename the Palm Beach Airport Trump International Airport.
- 6:51Speaker 2: The governor signed it last night in Florida. It will
- 6:54Speaker 2: on July first, the name will be changed to Trump
- 6:57Speaker 2: International Airport. This is going to make left nuts. This
- 7:01Speaker 2: is gonna make Democrats who have to use that airport crazy.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It's not just Palm Beach. You know, if you live
- 7:07Speaker 2: in Boca Ratan or Fort Lauderdale or any of these
- 7:10Speaker 2: other towns, you use that airport because the other airports
- 7:13Speaker 2: is just a mess. The Palm Beach Airport smaller, easier, quicker.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So it's gonna be Trump International Airport's gonna be on
- 7:22Speaker 2: the sign everywhere you look. It's gonna say it on
- 7:25Speaker 2: your ticket, it's gonna say it on your baggage claim.
- 7:27Speaker 2: It's gonna drive the left insane. This will make them
- 7:31Speaker 2: just crazed. You know, they're gonna go to Democrats are
- 7:34Speaker 2: gonna fly to Florida for a vacation. They're gonna get
- 7:38Speaker 2: off the airport, see Trump's picture, his name everywhere. They're
- 7:40Speaker 2: gonna see it on their ticket, they're gonna see it
- 7:42Speaker 2: on the baggage. They're gonna go insane. They're gonna go insane.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It's just gonna rile them up.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Now.
- 7:47Speaker 2: The other thing, it just got announced yesterday by Eric Trump,
- 7:52Speaker 2: the Donald Trump Presidential Library. The plans have been unveiled.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It's gonna be in Miami. We kind of suspected that.
- 8:00Speaker 2: But it's gonna be an enormous skyscraper. You see it online.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But it's magnificent. It's black and gold. It looks I
- 8:10Speaker 2: don't know how many start look an eighty story, ninety
- 8:12Speaker 2: story skyscraper this unusual presidential library. Of course, it's usually
- 8:18Speaker 2: a building, not a skyscraper. And it's just unbelievable the
- 8:22Speaker 2: way it looks, absolutely gleaming, magnificent. It'll be the absolute
- 8:27Speaker 2: star of the Miami skyline. And the left will go
- 8:31Speaker 2: nuts and want to spend a billion dollars. Again, it's
- 8:35Speaker 2: not a building, a simple building. It's a skyscraper. You know,
- 8:39Speaker 2: real skyscrapers costs that kind of money. The Trump organization
- 8:42Speaker 2: will build it. Nobody better at building those kind of buildings,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and they're going to raise the billion dollars. So you're
- 8:47Speaker 2: going to see the left go nuts, yelling and screaming
- 8:50Speaker 2: and fighting over this. It's not right now. I guess
- 8:55Speaker 2: we should be a little feel a little bad that
- 8:56Speaker 2: it's not in New York. President Trump, of course a
- 9:00Speaker 2: New York guy, a real New Yorker. Nobody more in
- 9:03Speaker 2: New York than a President Trump. And you kind of
- 9:07Speaker 2: hoped it would be here, somewhere in New York City
- 9:10Speaker 2: because you know, we'd love to have any said, we'd
- 9:12Speaker 2: love to have a presidential library, But where do you
- 9:15Speaker 2: put it? It's the problem with New York City really
- 9:18Speaker 2: is where would you put it? Would you make it
- 9:20Speaker 2: a skyscraper somewhere? And it's tough now. The other reason
- 9:24Speaker 2: I have a feeling deep down he still feels he's
- 9:27Speaker 2: in New York and we would like to have it here,
- 9:29Speaker 2: but he knows you can't. He can't do it here
- 9:31Speaker 2: because New York is right now controlled by the crazy
- 9:35Speaker 2: left city Council, all the zoning boards, mayor governor, all
- 9:39Speaker 2: these left wing Trump hating kook's control new York. So
- 9:43Speaker 2: if he tried to build it here, they'd fight him
- 9:45Speaker 2: at every turn, he'd have nothing but red tape and
- 9:48Speaker 2: hassles and blocking everything he tried to do. So there's
- 9:51Speaker 2: no point in even trying to do it here. So
- 9:53Speaker 2: he'll do it in Miami where you got you know,
- 9:56Speaker 2: Governor DeSantis and everybody, well, you know, just make it
- 10:00Speaker 2: easy for him to build this thing. So it's going
- 10:02Speaker 2: to be a magnificent presidential library. At the same time,
- 10:06Speaker 2: the Barack Obama Library is being built outside of Chicago.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Google a picture of it, and you'll think it's a joke.
- 10:12Speaker 2: It is considered by everybody to be the single ugliest
- 10:16Speaker 2: structure ever built anywhere in the world. It looks like
- 10:20Speaker 2: an absolute joke. Nobody can believe this is really what
- 10:23Speaker 2: he's building. But take a look at the pictures the
- 10:25Speaker 2: Obama Presidential Library. Even the people that live in the
- 10:28Speaker 2: surrounding neighborhoods are complaining like crazy, it's such a hideous
- 10:32Speaker 2: looking iesore. So that will be taking place, and then
- 10:37Speaker 2: the Trump Library. The difference will be staggering when you
- 10:41Speaker 2: look at them. Hey, Bruce Blakeman, Bruce Blakeman, Now you know,
- 10:46Speaker 2: when he started to run for governor, he's he'd be
- 10:48Speaker 2: the perfect governor. Nobody better. He's a governor. Now that's
- 10:51Speaker 2: what a county executive is. And he's been the best
- 10:53Speaker 2: county executive in America. Turned Nassau County into just a
- 10:58Speaker 2: great place. I mean it was right before. But he's
- 11:01Speaker 2: got the best crime record in America, kept taxes down,
- 11:05Speaker 2: and he'd be the perfect governor. But he's a Republican
- 11:09Speaker 2: and he's not that well known around the state. So
- 11:13Speaker 2: you know, when it first started, the polling showed him
- 11:15Speaker 2: twenty points behind. Well, he's Bruce Blakeman. When he ran
- 11:18Speaker 2: in Nassau County, same thing as Nasa County's, same demographic
- 11:22Speaker 2: makeup as New York State, mostly Democrat, he was twenty
- 11:26Speaker 2: points behind and he kept gaining and gaining and gaining
- 11:30Speaker 2: and gaining, and he won, and he won twice, so
- 11:33Speaker 2: expect the same thing to happen in New York State.
- 11:35Speaker 2: He was twenty points behind. Well, now it's eleven points
- 11:38Speaker 2: behind in the real polls, in the even in the
- 11:42Speaker 2: public media fake polls, it's thirteen points bare. So he's
- 11:45Speaker 2: gaining fast on Kathy Hockel, and she just keeps giving
- 11:51Speaker 2: him ammunition. You know, this stuff they do, the new taxes,
- 11:55Speaker 2: new property taxes, congestion pricing. Now the estate tax, it
- 12:00Speaker 2: just gives Blakeman stuff to hit her on.
- 12:02Speaker 4: It's no longer affordable to live in New York, and
- 12:06Speaker 4: now under what they proposed, it won't even be affordable
- 12:10Speaker 4: to die.
- 12:10Speaker 2: In New York. It's absolutely insane. First of all, anybody
- 12:15Speaker 2: that's in your state, you already paid tax on when
- 12:18Speaker 2: you earned it. You paid all the tax on it.
- 12:20Speaker 2: It's already been taxed. Now. Even Mom Donnie's going nuts
- 12:24Speaker 2: now because he you know, if Blakeman gets in, he
- 12:27Speaker 2: can keep control of Mom Donnie, keep him under control.
- 12:30Speaker 2: He can do stuff to straighten out the crazy Mom
- 12:33Speaker 2: Donnie stuff. So he's not too happy about Blakeman.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Someone who looks at what Ice is doing and thinks
- 12:38Speaker 5: it's exactly what the city needs to see. In Nassau County,
- 12:41Speaker 5: his focus is on how to round up as many
- 12:43Speaker 5: people as possible and send them as far away as
- 12:45Speaker 5: he can.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Well, actually, if you look at what he did in
- 12:47Speaker 2: Nassau County, it's what you're supposed to do. Ice shows
- 12:51Speaker 2: up and says, we'd like to arrest We've got a
- 12:52Speaker 2: list here of two hundred illegals who are dangerous criminals.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Gang members, robbers, murderers, rapists. We'd like to arrest them all. Well,
- 13:00Speaker 2: so Blakeman said, well, all right, how do we how
- 13:03Speaker 2: can we help? Well, we need offices, we need to
- 13:05Speaker 2: borrow some jail cells, we need to borrow some whatever.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Fully cooperated sign agreement, cooperate with ICE. That's we're supposed
- 13:11Speaker 2: to do. It's a big law enforcement agency supposed to
- 13:14Speaker 2: cooperate with them. And it was very good. They took
- 13:18Speaker 2: away a lot of criminals. That's one way he got
- 13:19Speaker 2: the crime way down. So they're going to go nuts
- 13:23Speaker 2: because but you know, you go all over New York
- 13:25Speaker 2: State that they kind of like the idea of getting
- 13:27Speaker 2: rid of all these illegals and these criminal illegal aliens.
- 13:30Speaker 2: So Blakeman got a good issue there.
- 13:33Speaker 4: We have deported two thousand illegal migrants with criminal records
- 13:36Speaker 4: from attempted murder to rape, to carjacking to drug dealing.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Where would they like.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Us to put these two thousand people back into the
- 13:45Speaker 4: metropolitan area.
- 13:47Speaker 2: So I think Hoco kind of realizes she's kind of
- 13:49Speaker 2: have a problem with this.
- 13:51Speaker 4: If they are in league together, I.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Know have Mom, Donnie and Hokeel. That's the problem. Hokeel's
- 13:56Speaker 2: got Mom, Donnie, you know, attached her.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Now they together, I now affectionately call the governor Comrade Cathy.
- 14:04Speaker 4: She's lockstep with zo Ron Mundani.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah, she's got a problem. She had to go way
- 14:09Speaker 2: to the left to get the Mamdani crowd on board.
- 14:13Speaker 2: But when it gets to the election, I'm gonna have
- 14:15Speaker 2: a problem. She's gonna have to scramble back to the center,
- 14:18Speaker 2: and I don't think she's gonna make it in time.
- 14:20Speaker 2: So hey, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, they became the
- 14:26Speaker 2: best of friends years ago. Remember there was pictures of
- 14:29Speaker 2: them everywhere, how close they got there. They are playing
- 14:32Speaker 2: bridge together, they're flying somewhere on his playing together, they're
- 14:35Speaker 2: having lunch together. Buffett and Bill Gates. Now, a lot
- 14:38Speaker 2: of people thought that wasn't the most real friendship. You know,
- 14:43Speaker 2: Buffett's a very honest, sincere, humble, real authentic guy. But
- 14:49Speaker 2: but he knows what's good publicity and all that. So
- 14:51Speaker 2: he attached himself. He played up that Bill Gates' friendship
- 14:55Speaker 2: a lot, and also he thought it brought him appeal
- 14:58Speaker 2: with a younger generation. Thought him of Bill Gates as
- 15:01Speaker 2: a guy who you know, understood all the stuff he
- 15:04Speaker 2: did Gates would a Buffett would tell you he didn't
- 15:08Speaker 2: understand all the digital tech stuff back then, so Gates
- 15:11Speaker 2: was a big help for him. But they became great friends,
- 15:13Speaker 2: always traveling together, spend a lot of time together. Buffett
- 15:17Speaker 2: put his money in the Gates Foundation, his billions, you know,
- 15:20Speaker 2: let them distribute it. It started to come apart a
- 15:26Speaker 2: while back, not that long ago. He took his money
- 15:28Speaker 2: out of the Gates Foundation because the Bill Gates Foundation
- 15:31Speaker 2: was always donating these crazy left wing things. And Buffett
- 15:35Speaker 2: is now revealed he does not talk to Bill Gates
- 15:37Speaker 2: anymore since the Epstein Files, since the Epstein Files came out.
- 15:43Speaker 2: He's admitted now he cut off Bill Gates. They've not spoken.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And then somebody asked him yesterday, well why don't you
- 15:51Speaker 2: try to and he said, well, there's no point in
- 15:53Speaker 2: talking to him until he clears it up. Until it's
- 15:57Speaker 2: cleared up, Well, you can read the Epstein file. Just
- 16:01Speaker 2: go to Epstein Files online. It's got a search bar
- 16:03Speaker 2: search Bill Gates and you can see he was really
- 16:06Speaker 2: tangled up with these women. Now, there's a lot of
- 16:08Speaker 2: people in the Epstein files that didn't do much of anything.
- 16:11Speaker 2: They came to a lunch at his house, or he
- 16:14Speaker 2: had a dinner party, they were there something like that,
- 16:16Speaker 2: or they had a business meeting. This is not Bill Gates.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Bill Gates, it was all women. It's all kinds of
- 16:22Speaker 2: dirty stuff. So Buffett saw that, and Gates has been
- 16:28Speaker 2: cut off. Anyway, we'll get back to this and we'll
- 16:31Speaker 2: take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three to two one
- 16:35Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three to
- 16:38Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Get ins and access to Mark by setting a freeset
- 16:45Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor Hey.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:57Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Let's go to Berta and
- 17:00Speaker 2: Queens Roberta. How are you doing?
- 17:02Speaker 6: Yes, good morning, Mark, I hope you're okay.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Let me check, yes, okay?
- 17:08Speaker 6: Good So communist mom Donnie just having a meeting with
- 17:13Speaker 6: the anti American UN officials at the UN behind closed doors?
- 17:17Speaker 6: Is that good?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Yes, it's fine because the UN does absolutely nothing. It
- 17:23Speaker 2: has no actual function, It accomplishes nothing, does nothing. Perfect
- 17:27Speaker 2: for him to meet with Let him sit behind closed
- 17:29Speaker 2: doors and discuss nothing and.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Still conspire against us.
- 17:34Speaker 2: They'll conspire against everybody. The good news with the UN,
- 17:36Speaker 2: they get absolutely nothing accomplished, nothing done. It's the worst run,
- 17:42Speaker 2: useless organization. It's a a VIP lounge for dictators. It's
- 17:47Speaker 2: over there on First Avenue tying up valuable waterfront land.
- 17:51Speaker 2: As Trump always said, should throw them out. Let them go,
- 17:54Speaker 2: you know, go upstate and put that thing up there,
- 17:57Speaker 2: and then take that land and build a million buildings there.
- 18:01Speaker 2: If you ever been in the UN building, it is
- 18:03Speaker 2: the most decrepit, decaying, disgusting building you've ever seen. They
- 18:08Speaker 2: built it like in I think it was nineteen forty
- 18:11Speaker 2: eight and that was the last time they did anything
- 18:14Speaker 2: to the building. It's the most awful, decrepit building. Inside,
- 18:18Speaker 2: everything is peeling, crumbling, It's hideous inside. Let's go to
- 18:23Speaker 2: Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich, How you doing pretty good?
- 18:26Speaker 7: Sitting in the sun, sitting by the pool, which was.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Good degree here in sunny right now.
- 18:32Speaker 7: So wow, that's pretty awesome. Now they want to tear
- 18:35Speaker 7: down the UN and put the Trump Presidential Library right there.
- 18:38Speaker 7: Just had a whole building gown start over again. You know,
- 18:41Speaker 7: last week you were speaking about Jerry Garcia's guitar is
- 18:43Speaker 7: selling for eleven point six million dollars. The guy who
- 18:47Speaker 7: built it actually passed away last night. Doug Iwin and
- 18:50Speaker 7: he built a couple of Jerry's guitars. Some of them
- 18:53Speaker 7: took six years and two thousand hours to get everything
- 18:55Speaker 7: exactly right. But that guy's been a legend and a
- 18:57Speaker 7: lot of people been trying to buy his guitars for I.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Know, I know, as you can imagine, I'm not a
- 19:03Speaker 2: grateful dead fan.
- 19:04Speaker 8: I never you know, let me ask you, Let me
- 19:07Speaker 8: ask you, Mark.
- 19:08Speaker 7: I don't see anybody covering the guy who stole the
- 19:11Speaker 7: fob key to the voting machines of the West Palm
- 19:14Speaker 7: Beach trying to flip Trump's county blue. The ever done
- 19:18Speaker 7: it that? They got this guy on a lot of things,
- 19:20Speaker 7: and he's got he had thousands of ballots that was stolen.
- 19:23Speaker 7: I mean, is that going to come out of us?
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. You know, let me ask you. Wait,
- 19:28Speaker 2: wait five or ten minutes. We're gonna have Howie car On.
- 19:31Speaker 2: He's an expert on what goes on in Palm Beach awesome,
- 19:34Speaker 2: and we'll ask him also. Uh, it was kind of
- 19:37Speaker 2: a shock in that a Democrat won the race in
- 19:41Speaker 2: Palm Beach congressional race, right in Trump's home county. How
- 19:44Speaker 2: did that happen? The Republicans usually went, Howie Carr will
- 19:47Speaker 2: be able to explain that to us. Coming up, Let's
- 19:49Speaker 2: go to Clarissa and Queens. Clarissa, how you doing.
- 19:53Speaker 8: Okay? How are you art?
- 19:55Speaker 2: I'm good?
- 19:57Speaker 7: No?
- 19:57Speaker 9: Good?
- 19:58Speaker 8: Yeah, I love your commentary on the Trump Library. Yes,
- 20:02Speaker 8: and I say, why just keep tormenting these poor people
- 20:07Speaker 8: and doing things like this. Let's just put him on
- 20:12Speaker 8: the presidential South Dakota. Let's put him up there with
- 20:18Speaker 8: all the other presidents and let over with Yeah.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I don't think it's actually it's a good idea. I
- 20:24Speaker 2: don't think they have room for another face on Mount Rushmore.
- 20:26Speaker 2: There's something with the I don't know the rock or something.
- 20:29Speaker 2: You can't carve another face there. But knowing Trump, he'll
- 20:35Speaker 2: find his own mountain somewhere. He'll buy a mountain somewhere
- 20:38Speaker 2: and put his face in Reagan's face and a couple
- 20:41Speaker 2: other faces up there. He'll create his own Mount Rushmore
- 20:44Speaker 2: when he leaves. Let's go to Amara in Nevada.
- 20:47Speaker 10: Mara, how you doing good?
- 20:49Speaker 11: I'm talking to you. Chile. Vincent Mark a name from
- 20:52Speaker 11: the past. Looking down. I think he's in heaven and
- 20:55Speaker 11: he's saying I told you. I try to warn you. Now,
- 21:00Speaker 11: you have a communist mayor in New York City, you
- 21:04Speaker 11: have prote But.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Who's looking down?
- 21:06Speaker 9: What?
- 21:07Speaker 2: Who's looking down?
- 21:08Speaker 11: I'm going to tell you.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Gotta tell us now because we're not gonna be on
- 21:11Speaker 2: the phone.
- 21:11Speaker 11: And Joe McCarthy, Joe McCarthy, we screwed it up.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Well, that's a funny uh you know, it's this funny situation.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Joe McCarthy claimed they were communists everywhere, and he was
- 21:24Speaker 2: considered an evil, awful guy. How dare you say they
- 21:26Speaker 2: were communists? You know, because if if they said you
- 21:30Speaker 2: were a communist, you got blackballed, you couldn't work ever
- 21:32Speaker 2: again in Hollywood or television. It's just the opposite. You're
- 21:36Speaker 2: a communist, you're immediately a hero, your biggest hero in
- 21:39Speaker 2: the world if you're in trouble, if you're not a
- 21:41Speaker 2: communist in Hollywood. Now, let's go to John and Long Island. John,
- 21:45Speaker 2: How you doing fine? I love your show.
- 21:49Speaker 12: I just want to make a comment on a Medicare
- 21:52Speaker 12: skim I just got on the phone. Yeah, where a
- 21:55Speaker 12: guy calls you and ask you if you got your
- 21:57Speaker 12: new Medicare card and I said no, and he says, oh, well,
- 22:02Speaker 12: we got to send you the new Medicaid card. And
- 22:05Speaker 12: he asks for my Medicare card number.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Well, you sound like a smart guy, John, I'm sure
- 22:12Speaker 2: you know better. It didn't fool you.
- 22:14Speaker 7: Did it?
- 22:15Speaker 12: So No, it did not, but it might fool other people.
- 22:20Speaker 2: No, yeah, that's the problem. Most people are pretty smart,
- 22:22Speaker 2: but you got older people who aren't used to the
- 22:24Speaker 2: texting and internet and all that. So you'll get these
- 22:27Speaker 2: things in the mail. Supposedly it's from the IRS. Supposedly
- 22:30Speaker 2: it's from the Motor Vehicle Department and they need your information.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Supposedly it's from the credit card. First of all, if
- 22:37Speaker 2: it's IRS, motor vehicle, anything with government, they will never
- 22:40Speaker 2: ever call you or text you ever. Ever. Ever, you'll
- 22:43Speaker 2: get a letter in the mail, they will not call
- 22:46Speaker 2: you or text you. The other thing is, even if
- 22:50Speaker 2: it's your credit card company, they will text you'll say
- 22:52Speaker 2: we found suspicious activity in your card, but they'll say
- 22:55Speaker 2: call us. They will not discuss it by text. They'll
- 22:58Speaker 2: make your call and you can easily make sure you
- 23:00Speaker 2: call him the right number. Hey, when we come back,
- 23:02Speaker 2: Howie Carr will be with us next. Now we've got
- 23:04Speaker 2: a lot to talk to him about Trump stuff and
- 23:08Speaker 2: why did they lose that race in Palm Beach County.
- 23:10Speaker 2: He can explain it to us. We'll get that. Get
- 23:12Speaker 2: to that next on seven to ten WOR.
- 23:15Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on seventen WR.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Well, Howie Carr is one of the best talk show
- 23:23Speaker 2: hosts in America. You said listen to him. You can
- 23:25Speaker 2: hear him on the iHeartRadio app. You can go to
- 23:28Speaker 2: hwicarsshow dot com. You can get his show as podcast.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Also best selling author his books are you'd love his books.
- 23:35Speaker 2: The latest one is called Mass Corruption. Just go to Amazon.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You can get it there. You can get everything else
- 23:40Speaker 2: at Howiecarshow dot com, howiecar How You doing very good?
- 23:45Speaker 3: You can also get Mass Corruption at HOWI caarshow dot
- 23:47Speaker 3: com free shipping through Easter. We just got it back
- 23:50Speaker 3: into stock so it's available again on the website. A
- 23:53Speaker 3: lot of good stuff on the website, howicarshow.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Dot com and cold. While you're there, get his Kennedy
- 23:58Speaker 2: books too. They're great. So Hey, first let me ask
- 24:02Speaker 2: you some Palm Beach questions. Not long ago. Recently, there
- 24:06Speaker 2: was a local race, the Republican loss, the Democrat won.
- 24:10Speaker 2: This is unheard of in Palm Beach County. White guy,
- 24:12Speaker 2: How did this happen in Trump's hometown? How did that happen?
- 24:15Speaker 2: The Republican lost.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Well, there was a vacancy. The the previous occupant of
- 24:23Speaker 3: the office took a courthouse jobs. You know, in other words,
- 24:27Speaker 3: Florida is a lot like other states like New York
- 24:31Speaker 3: and Massachusetts. People always want to bail out to the courthouse,
- 24:34Speaker 3: and this guy did. So there was a vacancy and
- 24:37Speaker 3: two people ran, and the Democrat was you know named
- 24:41Speaker 3: They hid some name like Muffy Pepperidge and you know
- 24:44Speaker 3: she dated Trump. And the Republicans nominated a black business man,
- 24:49Speaker 3: so you know, he was he was.
- 24:51Speaker 6: That was.
- 24:52Speaker 3: It was a tough, tough thing in the in the beginning.
- 24:55Speaker 3: But you saw what happened right about They they had
- 24:59Speaker 3: a they had a poll worker, a poll worker who
- 25:03Speaker 3: is a Democrat with a record as long as his arm,
- 25:07Speaker 3: and he stole apparently one of the election apparatusus that
- 25:12Speaker 3: you know, one of these little things, and you know,
- 25:14Speaker 3: the the elections supervisor who, by the way, is a Democrat.
- 25:19Speaker 3: She said, oh no, no, nothing happened, Nothing could have happened.
- 25:22Speaker 3: That was just a you know, just a dummy document.
- 25:26Speaker 3: But you know, hey, it was eight hundred votes. It
- 25:29Speaker 3: was a very very close election, fifty one forty nine.
- 25:32Speaker 3: And you know, it's one of those things, Mark, you
- 25:34Speaker 3: know how it works. If the Republican Maples had had
- 25:38Speaker 3: won by one vote, there would have been nothing about
- 25:42Speaker 3: it except in the local paper. Maybe not even in
- 25:45Speaker 3: the local paper. But as it is, it's Trump is
- 25:49Speaker 3: remuniated in his home town.
- 25:53Speaker 2: But that's the way they played it.
- 25:55Speaker 3: And I actually saw one one website said Trump loses
- 26:01Speaker 3: a special election in his congressional district. Congressional district. There
- 26:06Speaker 3: was a state reps district come.
- 26:08Speaker 2: On and it was extremely low turnout, right.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Uh, yeah, it was pretty it was pretty low turnout.
- 26:14Speaker 3: It wasn't it wasn't super low turnout. But you know,
- 26:17Speaker 3: they Republicans knew they had a problem, so they weren't
- 26:20Speaker 3: they losing everybody, all the all the Republican base with
- 26:23Speaker 3: people tried getting trying to get them to come out.
- 26:26Speaker 3: But actually we had a municipal election two weeks earlier
- 26:29Speaker 3: and that got that got a higher turnout. And then
- 26:31Speaker 3: and they were also poll workers for the municipal election.
- 26:33Speaker 3: These to uh, these two swells uh you know, wearing
- 26:37Speaker 3: both eyes, you know, campaigning to get on the town council.
- 26:41Speaker 10: You could you.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Could they were both from Boston. I don't have to do.
- 26:45Speaker 3: I need to stay New Market, you know. But they
- 26:48Speaker 3: got a higher turnout with that, and they spent a
- 26:49Speaker 3: lot more money on that thing than they did on
- 26:51Speaker 3: the state reps race. But you know, look, I you know,
- 26:54Speaker 3: if you've seen what happened in New York when they
- 26:56Speaker 3: lost when you guys lost the state Senate, or you've
- 26:59Speaker 3: seen what happened in Massachusetts when you have Democrats supermajority,
- 27:04Speaker 3: you never want to lose a legislative seat, no matter
- 27:08Speaker 3: how minor you think it is. You know, you've got
- 27:10Speaker 3: to get out there and vote. I mean, it's you know,
- 27:13Speaker 3: it's you're only one election away from from disaster, as
- 27:17Speaker 3: you guys are finding out in New York City.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Oh, Ali Carno. Another thing they're going to rename the
- 27:23Speaker 2: Palm Beach Airport Trump International. What how are Democrats supposed
- 27:27Speaker 2: to get to Florida? They're not going to land at
- 27:29Speaker 2: any airport called Trump International. What are they going to do?
- 27:33Speaker 3: They you know, it'll it'll take a while, but they've
- 27:36Speaker 3: gotten used to Reagan and International, right, so they can.
- 27:39Speaker 3: And you know, if you fly out to Vegas, you
- 27:41Speaker 3: have to they don't they have the Harry Reader in
- 27:43Speaker 3: a national airport. That that would frosts me if I
- 27:46Speaker 3: had to go, if I don't land at Harry Reader
- 27:49Speaker 3: in the national airport. But hey, you get used to it.
- 27:52Speaker 3: It's it's it's better than you know, spending time in
- 27:56Speaker 3: New York City and getting mugged and uh, you know
- 27:59Speaker 3: and robbed and you know, uh shripped of all your
- 28:04Speaker 3: estate after your death by Mam Donnie and hochel.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Hey President Trump, uh afters Eric Trump announced yesterday the
- 28:11Speaker 2: plans for the Trump Presidential Library. It's going to be
- 28:14Speaker 2: a big, unbelievable skyscraper in Miami. Did that surprise you
- 28:19Speaker 2: that it's going to be in Miami. Wouldn't you think
- 28:21Speaker 2: it would be in New York? No?
- 28:24Speaker 3: I don't think I don't think so. I mean, he
- 28:26Speaker 3: is from New York, and he mentioned he still mentions
- 28:29Speaker 3: New York and being from there. But no, I mean,
- 28:32Speaker 3: why why go through all the crap of that.
- 28:35Speaker 10: You know.
- 28:36Speaker 3: I mean again though he's got you know, one thing
- 28:39Speaker 3: about these recent presidents, he has such a low bar
- 28:42Speaker 3: to to go go over. I mean, this thing in
- 28:46Speaker 3: Chicago with Obama is just a complete fiasco. It looks
- 28:51Speaker 3: like it was designed you know in the Kim Junks, uh,
- 28:54Speaker 3: you know, the John School of Government, and it's North
- 28:58Speaker 3: Korean like, and the neighbors are suing and it's the
- 29:01Speaker 3: cost overruns. And you know what I love about the
- 29:04Speaker 3: you know, unlike unlike say that the Kennedy uh Study
- 29:10Speaker 3: Center for the Study of the Senate or the Obama Library.
- 29:13Speaker 3: They always say, oh, we'll pay for it our private donors.
- 29:16Speaker 3: They're they're so grateful for what Ted Kennedy or Barack
- 29:19Speaker 3: Obama did and then once they're once they're gone, once
- 29:22Speaker 3: you're out, you're out, you know, And they these libs
- 29:25Speaker 3: don't have any sense of gratitude. But I guarantee you
- 29:28Speaker 3: the Trump's library will be uh, you know, taken care of.
- 29:31Speaker 3: It'll be like the ballroom, It'll be taking private donors
- 29:34Speaker 3: will will will take care of this.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You know, It's funny the Biden Presidential Library doesn't exist,
- 29:41Speaker 2: no plans, no donors nothing. But you're right, they abandoned
- 29:45Speaker 2: him like crazy.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's uh, you know, I mean I don't know.
- 29:50Speaker 3: There needs to be a place to stash his comic
- 29:53Speaker 3: books and his coloring books. You know he's got I
- 29:56Speaker 3: heard he's got a really good selection of you know,
- 29:59Speaker 3: DC from his from his youth back in the days,
- 30:03Speaker 3: back in the days before they even had Batman, it
- 30:05Speaker 3: was just Superman when he was collecting.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I see him more as a Beatle Bailey kind of
- 30:10Speaker 2: comic books or Blondie kind of comic books.
- 30:13Speaker 13: So, uh, maybe a little Lottiett.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yeah, So he tell us about mar A Lago. This
- 30:19Speaker 2: is like where the season winds down and when when
- 30:21Speaker 2: does it close for the year.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Is it Mother's Day it closes for the year. I
- 30:25Speaker 3: think on Mother's Day that's the That'll be the last day.
- 30:28Speaker 3: I mean it's like the club will still be open
- 30:30Speaker 3: on the on the seaside, you know, where you can
- 30:34Speaker 3: come in. But you know, the the the dinners and everything.
- 30:38Speaker 3: That's the that's the big thing, the dinners, you know,
- 30:41Speaker 3: And especially when when he's in town on on the
- 30:45Speaker 3: weekends and he and you know, he hasn't he doesn't
- 30:47Speaker 3: come down every weekend, but he comes down most weekends
- 30:50Speaker 3: during this during the season, and then he he stops
- 30:53Speaker 3: by and and says hello, Like last week, Uh, the
- 30:57Speaker 3: Republican candidate for forgot or Pennsylvania. She's a she's pretty good,
- 31:02Speaker 3: but she's a real underdoctor Shapiro and uh, you know
- 31:06Speaker 3: she she had a big fundraiser at mar A Lago
- 31:08Speaker 3: and it was Friday night and he wasn't supposed to
- 31:11Speaker 3: be there, but he just came in and you can imagine,
- 31:14Speaker 3: you know that that's that goose fundraising for Her name
- 31:18Speaker 3: is Garrety. And you know, so he comes in and
- 31:21Speaker 3: he sees people and just hangs out and then he
- 31:24Speaker 3: and he plays golf. He usually goes down to either
- 31:27Speaker 3: to to one of his own West Palm That's what,
- 31:30Speaker 3: you know, that's what That's what a nut from North
- 31:32Speaker 3: Carolina tried to shoot him and uh, you know, or
- 31:36Speaker 3: he just you know, he hangs out. I mean, he's
- 31:39Speaker 3: it's I like having him around, and you know, you
- 31:42Speaker 3: can you see the little Coastguard boats. I you know,
- 31:45Speaker 3: I'm on the Inner Coastal Waterway Lake whith they call it,
- 31:48Speaker 3: and I can and you know, you see the Orange
- 31:50Speaker 3: Coast Guard boats with mounted machine guns. You know, what
- 31:53Speaker 3: they kind of look like is those Iranian speedboats that
- 31:58Speaker 3: they don't exist anymore, but they used to exist still
- 32:02Speaker 3: about two weeks ago. They look like those things. And
- 32:05Speaker 3: they they come, they come in and they they changed
- 32:09Speaker 3: the shift at noon and they go up to Riviera
- 32:12Speaker 3: Beach where there's a Coast Guard base. It's I mean,
- 32:14Speaker 3: it's really it's really interesting and it's yeah, it's just
- 32:17Speaker 3: so it's so strange because when I was a little,
- 32:20Speaker 3: a tiny little boy, Jack Kennedy was the president and
- 32:24Speaker 3: he he lived up on the other side of the island,
- 32:27Speaker 3: the north side of the island. Nobody ever thought there'd
- 32:30Speaker 3: be another there would be another presidential winter white house.
- 32:33Speaker 3: But now there has been. Now there is. It's great, wonderful.
- 32:36Speaker 2: So when they closed mar Alaga, they close it to
- 32:38Speaker 2: like a Halloween like till October Halloween. What what do
- 32:41Speaker 2: these painted up old ladies do for six months that
- 32:44Speaker 2: all hang out at mari Alaga. Where do they go
- 32:45Speaker 2: for six months?
- 32:46Speaker 3: Well, I mean a lot of them go, you know,
- 32:48Speaker 3: they head north, they go to the Hampton, you know,
- 32:52Speaker 3: I mean it's a few were you know, there's more
- 32:55Speaker 3: and more of a yearly presence here. But you know,
- 32:58Speaker 3: like the country club. Yeah, the club in West Palm
- 33:01Speaker 3: is open. It's really a nice place, and it's like a,
- 33:04Speaker 3: you know, one of the best golf courses in Florida,
- 33:07Speaker 3: and he's very proud of that. And you know, there's
- 33:11Speaker 3: all all the other the Everglades is still open. The Breakers.
- 33:16Speaker 3: You know, the Breakers used to be a seasonal place,
- 33:18Speaker 3: but it's it's open year round, and so most of
- 33:21Speaker 3: the places are open year Since air conditioning, I mean,
- 33:23Speaker 3: I know, I'm dating myself because that's been like fifty
- 33:26Speaker 3: years now, but since air conditioning came in big you know,
- 33:30Speaker 3: South Florida, it's just it's just gotten much bigger. I
- 33:33Speaker 3: mean it used to it used to just have like
- 33:36Speaker 3: a you know, a relative handful of congressman here, and
- 33:40Speaker 3: now it's like the third largest state in the country,
- 33:42Speaker 3: I believe, after California and Texas.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Palm Springs. Nobody lived in Palm Springs until air
- 33:48Speaker 2: conditioning was invented in the late forties. That's when the
- 33:51Speaker 2: first people started to live there.
- 33:52Speaker 3: So yeah, and you know they never had like central
- 33:56Speaker 3: are like the Breakers, the Breakers was went to Central

- 34:11Speaker 3: of dollars, but they've they've made it back obviously, you know,
- 34:15Speaker 3: many times over. It's just it's just changed everything.

- 35:06Speaker 2: noon today, you got Buck Sexton, Clay Travis. You got
- 35:10Speaker 2: a great show there every day. But I heard them,
- 35:13Speaker 2: they got into it. I was like, I was telling
- 35:15Speaker 2: you yesterday about JFK. Junior, how awful he was flying
- 35:19Speaker 2: that plane, how he probably would have got charged with
- 35:22Speaker 2: manslaughter it was so reckless. They had an expert on
- 35:25Speaker 2: on going through all that stuff yesterday. But a great
- 35:28Speaker 2: show Buck and Clay every day at twelve noon. Then
- 35:31Speaker 2: you got the most listened to radio show in America,
- 35:34Speaker 2: Sean Hannity. You got Jesse Kelly at six, Jimmy Fayla
- 35:38Speaker 2: very funny show every night nine to midnight. Right here
- 35:42Speaker 2: on seven ten WR.
- 35:45Speaker 13: The Mark Simone Show, delivery the news before it is
- 35:49Speaker 13: on seven ten Wry.
- 35:54Speaker 2: All right, look at this eighty one today. That'll be
- 35:56Speaker 2: the high eighty one tomorrow, seventy eight degrees. Oh, it's
- 36:02Speaker 2: gonna be cold on Thursday, fifty and then sixty five
- 36:07Speaker 2: on Friday. Looks like seventy two all weekend. A lot
- 36:10Speaker 2: of rain in the forecast, but that's okay, that's okay,
- 36:13Speaker 2: gonna be very very very warm. So coming up in
- 36:18Speaker 2: the next hour, we've got a lot to get to.
- 36:19Speaker 2: We'll get to Tiger Woods and all the latest on him.
- 36:23Speaker 2: We'll get to the Democrats. There's another guy that wants
- 36:26Speaker 2: to run. You know, the Democrats love to pick the
- 36:29Speaker 2: dumbest people that can find. I mean, there's some very
- 36:31Speaker 2: smart Democratic candidates, but sometimes they like to go with
- 36:34Speaker 2: the dumbest one. There's another guy, with another really low
- 36:38Speaker 2: IQ guy that wants to run. And we're talking about
- 36:40Speaker 2: presidential libraries and the Trump Library. They're gonna raise a
- 36:45Speaker 2: billion dollars. The Obama Library, which it looks hideous, but
- 36:48Speaker 2: still they raised about nine hundred million. There's the Biden
- 36:52Speaker 2: Presidential Library. Well wait, let me take that back. There
- 36:55Speaker 2: isn't a Biden Presidential Library. There's really nothing going on
- 36:59Speaker 2: with that. They can't raise any money nothing, there's no donors.
- 37:03Speaker 2: He's totally forgotten about. They can't stand him, there's no
- 37:06Speaker 2: sentiment for him. They can't raise any money so far.
- 37:09Speaker 2: So it could be right now they're talking about, well
- 37:12Speaker 2: maybe they'll do it in a university or get them
- 37:15Speaker 2: to pay for it, something like that. But we got
- 37:17Speaker 2: a lot to get to in the next hour. Don't
- 37:18Speaker 2: go away. Mark Simone here every day ten to noon
- 37:22Speaker 2: or listen to anytime get the podcast seven to ten
- 37:25Speaker 2: WR He's mister New York Mark Simone WR. Well, it's
- 37:37Speaker 2: going to be eighty degrees today, a beautiful day in
- 37:40Speaker 2: New York, and get lots to get to this hour.
- 37:42Speaker 2: So Tiger Woods, I don't know what he's I don't
- 37:48Speaker 2: know what's gonna happen here. He's got a real problem here.
- 37:50Speaker 2: He's been picked up for. It's not drunk driving, it's
- 37:55Speaker 2: driving on drugs, medication that made them impaired. It's not
- 37:59Speaker 2: the first time. It's in Florida. He's a powerful guy
- 38:03Speaker 2: in Florida. I don't know. It's gonna be tough. He's
- 38:06Speaker 2: gonna have to stay out of jail. Normally you'd get
- 38:09Speaker 2: locked up, maybe not first offense, and maybe not if
- 38:11Speaker 2: you're a big, famous, beloved guy like Tiger Woods. But
- 38:16Speaker 2: if it's the third time, fourth time, you're gonna have
- 38:18Speaker 2: a problem. And he's got a problem here. Now remember
- 38:26Speaker 2: his first wife, Elin Nordegren, that beautiful blonde first wife,
- 38:31Speaker 2: when she's the one that caused the first crash. She
- 38:36Speaker 2: found some stuff on his phone, apparently him carrying on
- 38:39Speaker 2: with other women. I mean, really, graphics. It really got
- 38:42Speaker 2: her crazy, and she chased him out of the house
- 38:45Speaker 2: with a golf club. She's chasing him with a golf club.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Imagine that the irony. The guy gets killed with a
- 38:51Speaker 2: golf club by his own wife. But he jumps in
- 38:54Speaker 2: the car, backs up like eighty miles an hour down
- 38:57Speaker 2: the driveway, hits a tree, hits a fire hydrant. That
- 39:00Speaker 2: was the first accident she caused. So then there have
- 39:03Speaker 2: been a lot of accidents since. But the first wife
- 39:05Speaker 2: yesterday actually spoke about this. She said she's very worried
- 39:09Speaker 2: about him following this crash. Show. As angry as she was,
- 39:13Speaker 2: she's not angry anymore. And she said, you know, they
- 39:16Speaker 2: have kids together. The kids are now eighteen and seventeen.
- 39:19Speaker 2: He said the kids are great, and she said they
- 39:21Speaker 2: love spending time with their dad, and she's really concerned,
- 39:26Speaker 2: really concerned. Now here's an interesting detail that has not
- 39:29Speaker 2: been mentioned. As you know, Tiger Woods is now dating
- 39:34Speaker 2: Donald Trump Junior's ex wife, Vanessa Trump. They have been
- 39:38Speaker 2: dating for a long time now. She has kids, one
- 39:42Speaker 2: of Miss kay Trump, who's going to be one of
- 39:44Speaker 2: the greatest golfers ever. And she has kids, so those
- 39:48Speaker 2: would be Donald Trump's grandchildren, and those kids are protected
- 39:53Speaker 2: by the Secret Service, and an order came down when
- 39:56Speaker 2: she started dating him that the Secret Service is never
- 40:00Speaker 2: ever to allow those kids to ever get in a
- 40:03Speaker 2: car driven by Tiger Woods. So throughout this relationship, he
- 40:07Speaker 2: has not been allowed to ever drive a car with
- 40:10Speaker 2: those kids in it. And the Secret Service has been
- 40:13Speaker 2: very careful to make sure that never happened. But he's
- 40:17Speaker 2: getting a lot of flak right now. And the big
- 40:21Speaker 2: question is, you know, why doesn't he have a driver? Well,
- 40:26Speaker 2: apparently he can't have a driver, because I remember us
- 40:32Speaker 2: explaining this to you yesterday. The reason he got caught
- 40:35Speaker 2: by the first wife with the stuff on his cell phone. Normally, big, big,
- 40:39Speaker 2: big famous people who cheat like crazy. And that's a
- 40:41Speaker 2: lot of them, those stars. And I've been around a
- 40:45Speaker 2: lot of them, and I've seen out all works a
- 40:47Speaker 2: lot of them. Many of them they not only have
- 40:50Speaker 2: a driver, but they got a little athourized. There's a
- 40:53Speaker 2: bunch of people in the antourage that are very close
- 40:55Speaker 2: to them. And it's one guy's job to take care
- 40:57Speaker 2: of the women. A woman wants to see him, they'll
- 41:01Speaker 2: text this guy. This guy will pass it along and
- 41:04Speaker 2: there's usually a code name. Yeah, there's always a code name.
- 41:09Speaker 2: So the woman texts the guy, and the guy will
- 41:12Speaker 2: text the big star and say, talk to David. He'd
- 41:15Speaker 2: like to get together. That's the code word for a woman.
- 41:19Speaker 2: So if the wife found the phone, she'd see nothing.
- 41:22Speaker 2: And he never did that. He did it all himself
- 41:26Speaker 2: on his phone. And he can't have a driver because,
- 41:30Speaker 2: and he's kind of said to his closest friends, he
- 41:35Speaker 2: can't have anybody see what he's really doing or what
- 41:37Speaker 2: he's really up to. Doesn't want anybody to know what
- 41:41Speaker 2: he's doing. Now, that usually implies a couple of things.
- 41:46Speaker 2: If you're just cheating on your wife, you can usually
- 41:48Speaker 2: have a driver. You know, every billionaire, billionaire, every big
- 41:50Speaker 2: star with a driver. The driver sees him cheating on this,
- 41:54Speaker 2: But usually he's having a little affair with somebody. That'd say.
- 41:57Speaker 2: If he can't even let anybody see it, it usually
- 41:59Speaker 2: means it's something really kinky, weird, or it means it's
- 42:04Speaker 2: in numbers that are so great you don't want anybody
- 42:07Speaker 2: to see how how many. It's just it's off the
- 42:10Speaker 2: charts numbers. So I have a feeling that's what it
- 42:13Speaker 2: is with tiger Woods. It's massive numbers that he doesn't
- 42:18Speaker 2: want anybody to see. So that's why no driver. He's
- 42:22Speaker 2: getting a lot of flak. Now there's a big golf analyst,
- 42:25Speaker 2: famous golf analysts said he really should just leave golf
- 42:29Speaker 2: and retire. He should find something else to do. He's
- 42:31Speaker 2: going to try to play in the Masters, but these
- 42:34Speaker 2: car crashes have left him with the most awful injuries.
- 42:37Speaker 2: His body is so damaged. And he's an unbelievable guy
- 42:41Speaker 2: with discipline and training and working hard to come back
- 42:44Speaker 2: from these injuries. But he's never going to play like
- 42:48Speaker 2: he used to play. He's never going to be a top,
- 42:50Speaker 2: top player. He's just too banged up, injured, damaged. So
- 42:54Speaker 2: this golf analyst said, what's the point. I mean, you're
- 42:57Speaker 2: Tiger Woods and you know, the most disciplined guyd Well,
- 43:00Speaker 2: you can train hard enough so that you could still
- 43:01Speaker 2: get in the tournament and get through it, But what's
- 43:04Speaker 2: the point. It's like running the marathon. It's great to
- 43:07Speaker 2: say you ran it, but you came in four hundred
- 43:09Speaker 2: and eighty seventh place, you know, which is fine for
- 43:12Speaker 2: anybody to still be proud. But if you're Tiger Woods,
- 43:15Speaker 2: what's the point if you're not going to finish in
- 43:17Speaker 2: the top ten or twenty. And then Dave Portnoy coming
- 43:21Speaker 2: after him. Portnoy says he has absolutely no sympathy for
- 43:25Speaker 2: Tiger Woods. When it comes to Dui, he said, no sympathy.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Put him in jail, you know, he said. Port Noiser goes,
- 43:33Speaker 2: I got a lot of vices, but my vice has
- 43:34Speaker 2: only put me in jeopardy. Nobody else. When you get
- 43:37Speaker 2: behind the wheel totally impaired, you're going to really you
- 43:41Speaker 2: could really hurt somebody, you could kill somebody. Says I
- 43:43Speaker 2: have no sympathy. Put the guy in jail, and there's
- 43:47Speaker 2: going to be a lot of that when he gets
- 43:48Speaker 2: into court. That's the problem. So Vanessa Trump, who's been
- 43:52Speaker 2: going out with him, she's was finally asked about it,
- 43:55Speaker 2: said he's very disappointed and a little bit pissed is
- 43:59Speaker 2: her quote, if I'm being honest, she said, so not
- 44:04Speaker 2: too happy about but this is not gonna If he
- 44:07Speaker 2: can get out of this one, it's pretty amazing. But
- 44:09Speaker 2: I think everybody's right that he's got to give up golf.
- 44:12Speaker 2: And that's it. So the shutdown at the airports, the TSA,
- 44:17Speaker 2: all of that disaster looks like it's pretty good now
- 44:20Speaker 2: with ice in there. You know, there's only a fifty
- 44:24Speaker 2: thousand TSA people and I think like fifteen thousand of
- 44:29Speaker 2: them are not there called in sick. But you can
- 44:31Speaker 2: send in fifteen thousand ice agents to make up the difference.
- 44:35Speaker 2: And they've been very good in the airports. But there's
- 44:38Speaker 2: still lines, and apparently Friday was a really ugly thing
- 44:42Speaker 2: for passengers to watch. Friday, it was still out of control,
- 44:46Speaker 2: three four hour lines. And that's the day the Senate
- 44:50Speaker 2: and the Congress adjourned for their three week vacation. Three
- 44:54Speaker 2: week vacation in the middle of this shutdown, with people
- 44:57Speaker 2: going through hell in the airports, they take three weeks off,
- 45:00Speaker 2: they fly home. Well. TMZ and other news organizations were
- 45:03Speaker 2: there photographing these senators going through the airports, these congressmen,
- 45:08Speaker 2: and there they were with vip escorts taking them right
- 45:12Speaker 2: through the right through the gate, no line, no inspection,
- 45:16Speaker 2: no TSA. Things has got escorted right through, vip escorts,
- 45:21Speaker 2: strolling him right past the line. The worst offender was
- 45:24Speaker 2: John Thune, Senate majority leader, Republican. He was still worst.
- 45:29Speaker 2: He just they saw him just breeze past the lines
- 45:32Speaker 2: at Reagan National Airport with a big grin for the cameras.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Really really annoying. Now, as I've explained to you, one
- 45:43Speaker 2: thing that goes on, you'll never hear anybody in Congress
- 45:47Speaker 2: ever criticize the Secretary of Transportation, because when you're the
- 45:51Speaker 2: Secretary of Transportation, the first thing you do, because you
- 45:54Speaker 2: end up meeting everybody in Congress, the first thing you
- 45:57Speaker 2: do is give them all your cell number, and you
- 45:59Speaker 2: tell everybody in Congress, every big player in Washington. Any problem,
- 46:04Speaker 2: you call me. You're going through the airport, anything you
- 46:06Speaker 2: need call me. So if John Thune, anybody, anybody in Congress,
- 46:11Speaker 2: if they're going to the airport, they call up the
- 46:13Speaker 2: Secretary of Transportation, who immediately get some vip escort to
- 46:17Speaker 2: meet their car when they pull up at the airport,
- 46:19Speaker 2: take them right onto the plane. And Duffy in the
- 46:23Speaker 2: current Secretary of Transportation does it, Buddha Jedge did it.
- 46:27Speaker 2: All secretaries of transportation do this. Everybody important in Congress
- 46:31Speaker 2: everywhere has the phone number. They'll never have to wait
- 46:34Speaker 2: for anything transportation wise. So that's why they never criticize
- 46:38Speaker 2: the Secretary of Defense. Boy, this is thinking about Facebook.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Here's all these things, these protests that these teenagers got addicted.
- 46:48Speaker 2: They're so addicted. Here's this mother. Now the mother is
- 46:52Speaker 2: going to sue what they did to her teenage daughter.
- 46:54Speaker 2: They addicted her to Facebook. Can you really blame Facebook?
- 46:59Speaker 2: I mean, take away the computer, take away the phone,
- 47:04Speaker 2: fix it so they can't have a Facebook app in there.
- 47:07Speaker 2: But is it really addictive? I know they have an
- 47:11Speaker 2: algorithm where as soon as you've done watching something, if
- 47:15Speaker 2: they can figure out what you like, and they'll show
- 47:17Speaker 2: you something you like next and they'll keep doing But
- 47:19Speaker 2: everybody does it. We do that on the radio. Go
- 47:23Speaker 2: put on any music station on the radio. Hey, coming
- 47:25Speaker 2: up next, We're going to do this. It's and as
- 47:27Speaker 2: soon as the song ends, they know what else you'd
- 47:29Speaker 2: like and they play it. They can keep you listening
- 47:30Speaker 2: for a lot. It's normal. Everybody does that. You can't
- 47:35Speaker 2: really blame Facebook, can you. It's crazy? And what does
- 47:39Speaker 2: that mean they're addicted to Facebook? Why they just sit
- 47:41Speaker 2: on it for hours? Well, Hey, when I was a kid,
- 47:43Speaker 2: I was addicted to television. I could do it for hours.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Your mother would yell at you, go outside, play do something,
- 47:50Speaker 2: turn that TV off. It's been you sitting there for
- 47:52Speaker 2: four hours. When I was a little kid, I could
- 47:54Speaker 2: watch TV for eight hours. I could watch everything. It
- 47:57Speaker 2: just and my mother would yell at me, your homework,
- 48:01Speaker 2: This is my homework watching This is my homework. So
- 48:06Speaker 2: it's nothing new, you know, as people are pointed out,
- 48:09Speaker 2: with all the technology and digital and everything, everybody's doing
- 48:14Speaker 2: the same thing they always did. The behavior doesn't change. Well,
- 48:16Speaker 2: now you've got online bullying. Yeah, well it used to
- 48:19Speaker 2: be schoolyard bullying. It's the same behavior. It just moves
- 48:22Speaker 2: to a new medium. So Facebook has really got to
- 48:26Speaker 2: do something. They really got to fight back.
- 48:27Speaker 10: You know.
- 48:27Speaker 2: The biggest problem is not the team's getting addicted to
- 48:31Speaker 2: Facebook or the big problem is is gen Z. Generation Z.
- 48:36Speaker 2: They and it might be a result of all this
- 48:38Speaker 2: digital stuff. They're just weak and flabby and they can't
- 48:42Speaker 2: work and they you know a lot of employers now,
- 48:44Speaker 2: studies are showing gen Z people can't work nine to five.
- 48:49Speaker 2: It's too long, it's too much. They can't take nine
- 48:52Speaker 2: to five, normal eight hour office day. Everybody always did that.
- 48:55Speaker 2: They can't take it. So a lot of them are
- 48:59Speaker 2: saying they have to have an in the middle of
- 49:00Speaker 2: the day. You get an hour for lunch, but they're
- 49:02Speaker 2: using it to take a nap, which you know, many
- 49:06Speaker 2: people can't do that in an office because it's a
- 49:07Speaker 2: big open office. You can't sleep in the so, believe
- 49:11Speaker 2: it or not, a lot of gen Z people would
- 49:16Speaker 2: go to an AMC movie theater. If you go to
- 49:18Speaker 2: any AMC movie theater, they got these beautiful recliner chairs.
- 49:22Speaker 2: They're really nice. If you haven't been to a movie theater, well,
- 49:26Speaker 2: go to an AMC theater. I mean, it's an unbelievable recliner.
- 49:29Speaker 2: You can lie back and you can. So they go
- 49:31Speaker 2: pay fifteen dollars in the daytime on their lunch shower
- 49:34Speaker 2: to go to AMC movie theater, Go go into one
- 49:37Speaker 2: and sleep for an hour on the recliner. They put
- 49:39Speaker 2: their earbuds in alarm on the Apple Watch. But there's
- 49:44Speaker 2: people now making money off these gen Z idiots. There's
- 49:49Speaker 2: companies that are opening up nap rooms where you can
- 49:51Speaker 2: come take a nap on your lunch hower. Little pods
- 49:54Speaker 2: where you can nap. There's a big one called Nap York.
- 49:57Speaker 2: It's opening all over the place. Come pay whatever it
- 50:01Speaker 2: is twenty bucks. You can go in that little pod
- 50:03Speaker 2: and nap for an hour and they're doing a hell
- 50:06Speaker 2: of a lot of business. Unbelievable.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Uh.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Now, Curtis leiwa our Curtis Leeway. He's on here every
- 50:14Speaker 2: morning six to ten, getting a lot of flak from
- 50:16Speaker 2: some not a lot of people, but some people give
- 50:18Speaker 2: him flak for why did you do a video with
- 50:22Speaker 2: mayor Mom Donnie? That's terrible? How would you do something
- 50:26Speaker 2: like that? Well? Uh, and he's been all over I'm looking.
- 50:29Speaker 2: I see him seen on three TV screens, heeries on
- 50:31Speaker 2: New York one. Everybody's asking him about it. Hey, it's
- 50:34Speaker 2: perfectly normal. I'm not a big fan of mayor Mom Donnie.
- 50:38Speaker 2: I mean, you think he's terrible everything he believes in
- 50:41Speaker 2: and his mayor. But if he called up and said
- 50:46Speaker 2: can I come on the show, I'd say yes, yeah,
- 50:49Speaker 2: be a very polite, nice, you know, not a hostile interview.
- 50:54Speaker 2: But he he'd ask him tough questions. And if he said, Uh,
- 50:59Speaker 2: could you come do a video with me? For what
- 51:02Speaker 2: do you mean? It's a comedy sketch. We're going to
- 51:03Speaker 2: show it at a charity event. Okay, maybe I would
- 51:06Speaker 2: do And actually I've done that many times with mayors
- 51:09Speaker 2: that I thought were terrible. Deblasio or whoever you know,
- 51:13Speaker 2: be a big charity lunch where I'd introduce him and
- 51:15Speaker 2: give him a nice introduction. You don't say he's a
- 51:17Speaker 2: great mayor, but you find something nice to say about him.
- 51:21Speaker 2: And so Curtis was asked about doing that video. Just
- 51:25Speaker 2: about anybody would say, Okay, it's the mayor of New York.
- 51:27Speaker 3: You do.
- 51:27Speaker 2: That's why you see all these top business leaders who
- 51:29Speaker 2: can't stand what he's doing, but thet's still go meet
- 51:32Speaker 2: with him. Even President Trump, he's the mayor of New York,
- 51:34Speaker 2: you meet with him. So here's Curtis.
- 51:36Speaker 5: What New Yorkers want to see is a city where
- 51:39Speaker 5: we can vehemently disagree with each other and also still
- 51:42Speaker 5: know that we live in the same sa.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Actually this is Mayor Mondanni. So everybody was asking Curtis
- 51:46Speaker 2: about why did you do that? So the Mamdani lovers,
- 51:49Speaker 2: why would you do a video with Curtis?
- 51:51Speaker 5: What New Yorkers want to see is a city where
- 51:53Speaker 5: we can vehemently disagree with each other and also still
- 51:56Speaker 5: know that we live in the same city. And a
- 51:58Speaker 5: sense of humor, I think is a prerequisite to being
- 52:00Speaker 5: a New Yorker.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's not like he went partners with
- 52:04Speaker 2: him on something. It's a it's a comedy, little little
- 52:07Speaker 2: comedy skit. It's for a charity dinner, all right. And
- 52:11Speaker 2: what about everybody going crazy at all.
- 52:13Speaker 5: Of these people who can't distinguish between a sketch and reality.
- 52:17Speaker 5: I think it shows some of the problems they're having
- 52:19Speaker 5: with their politics.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, a lot of people run for the Democratic nomination.
- 52:25Speaker 2: You got the slick Gavin Newsom, fast talking, slick, quite
- 52:29Speaker 2: a salesman, but the world's worst manager. California is an
- 52:32Speaker 2: absolute disaster. People are fleeing California like crazy. H And
- 52:37Speaker 2: then you got who else? You got Josh Shapiro is
- 52:40Speaker 2: a pretty bright guy, but maybe he's not. You know,
- 52:44Speaker 2: none of pizaz to be the Democratic nominee. And by
- 52:49Speaker 2: the way, with Gavin Newsom three years out, two and
- 52:55Speaker 2: a half, three years out, there's always in every Democratic
- 52:57Speaker 2: race study history, there's always guy who looks like he'll
- 53:01Speaker 2: be the nominee so far out in front, and it's
- 53:02Speaker 2: always a flashy, good looking, pretty boy type, and in
- 53:06Speaker 2: every case they never get the nomination. There's always been
- 53:09Speaker 2: one of these. It was Gary Hart. It was John Edwards.
- 53:13Speaker 2: There's always one of these guys, but they never get
- 53:15Speaker 2: the nomination. Then the other thing in the Democratic Party,
- 53:17Speaker 2: they got really stupid people who aren't very bright. Kamala
- 53:21Speaker 2: Harris would be a good example. And now you got
- 53:23Speaker 2: another one. There's talk of Corey Booker, who's a nice guy,
- 53:27Speaker 2: nice looking guy, got a nice smile, but he's dumb.
- 53:31Speaker 2: That's the problem, and every Democrat will takes it's not
- 53:33Speaker 2: a very bright guy. He's dumb. But now he's being
- 53:37Speaker 2: asked about running. Sounds like you're saying she would be
- 53:40Speaker 2: open to your running for presidents. So you're not ruling
- 53:42Speaker 2: it out, Senator, I am definitely.
- 53:45Speaker 14: Not ruling it out. I'm running for reelection. I hope
- 53:48Speaker 14: New Jersey will support me for another six years.
- 53:52Speaker 2: And again, nice guy. He was the mayor of Newark
- 53:54Speaker 2: at one time. He was a terrible mayor. Newark got
- 53:57Speaker 2: much worse when he was the mayor. He was never
- 53:59Speaker 2: even there most of the time. But it's just a
- 54:02Speaker 2: dumb guy, and he perfect for Democrats.
- 54:04Speaker 14: This is going to go down as one of the
- 54:05Speaker 14: worst foreign policy follies, blunders, costly mistakes that have been
- 54:10Speaker 14: made in the modern era, and it's outrageous that the
- 54:13Speaker 14: Republicans won't even call the administration in and have hearings
- 54:17Speaker 14: where we can provide oversight and frankly demand accountability, which
- 54:21Speaker 14: is what the American people deserve.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Now thist's not dumb, this guy.
- 54:23Speaker 14: This is going to go down as one of the
- 54:25Speaker 14: worst foreign policy follies blunders cost This.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Is the biggest blunder in the history of foreign policy.
- 54:32Speaker 2: They went and wiped out the worst terrorist, most evil
- 54:35Speaker 2: leader on the face of the and the top forty terrorists.
- 54:39Speaker 2: They wiped out the worst, most evil, awful, evil terrorist
- 54:45Speaker 2: government in the world. And he thinks it's the biggest
- 54:48Speaker 2: blunder ever. So Republicans should pray that this guy gets
- 54:54Speaker 2: the nomination. Hey, well, take some calls next. Eight hundred
- 54:57Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven to ten is the number.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Set up, pre said on the iHeartRadio app to doubor
- 55:08Speaker 1: to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to
- 55:12Speaker 1: hear him anytime. Yew back to Mark Simone on do wor.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Hey, you'll take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 55:21Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Mike
- 55:23Speaker 2: in Beth Page. Mike, how you doing, Heay, Good.
- 55:27Speaker 9: Morning, Mark.
- 55:28Speaker 15: I'm wondering if you're hearing anything on replacements of Supreme
- 55:32Speaker 15: Court justices. If the Republicans lose the midterm, what's gonna happen?
- 55:37Speaker 10: Have you heard anything?
- 55:38Speaker 3: Well, there's maybe Clarence Moomas retiring.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Nothing to hear yet. No, nobody's gonna retire that soon.
- 55:44Speaker 2: And I don't don't worry about Republicans losing the midterms.
- 55:48Speaker 2: And it's way too soon than know anything. You know,
- 55:51Speaker 2: who's going to win the World Series? Too early in
- 55:54Speaker 2: the season to know. Let's go to doctor John and Newark.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Doctor John, how are you?
- 56:00Speaker 10: While I'm fine?
- 56:01Speaker 15: I was calling because I'd like to talk a little
- 56:03Speaker 15: bit about making America great again by improving our healthcare,
- 56:09Speaker 15: by changing our system to one. I've worked and lectured
- 56:13Speaker 15: in two of the top six healthcare systems in the world,
- 56:18Speaker 15: and the one rated six. The government pays two percent
- 56:22Speaker 15: of GDP for healthcare guarantees it for all citizens. They
- 56:27Speaker 15: live five years longer than we do, but we're rated
- 56:31Speaker 15: thirty seventh and die younger than thirty five other countries.
- 56:34Speaker 15: Now I've written two articles about day I can.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Tell you're a lecturers. So far you haven't given me
- 56:38Speaker 2: a good idea yet, give me a good idea. There's
- 56:41Speaker 2: a lot of a lot of intro. But what's the idea?
- 56:44Speaker 15: Okay, in the two articles I've.
- 56:46Speaker 2: Written about again with the articles.
- 56:49Speaker 15: Well, okay, okay, the way they do it, I'll tell
- 56:51Speaker 15: you the way they do it.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get to that point. Give us the solution.
- 56:54Speaker 15: Yeah, all all doctors and hospitals have to put what
- 56:58Speaker 15: they do and what they chald on the incident.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Now, well, a lot of people have been pushing for that,
- 57:04Speaker 2: and that's a great idea. A lot of people have
- 57:06Speaker 2: been pushing for that. You know, you get you Sometimes
- 57:09Speaker 2: you see these bills cat Scan twenty six hundred dollars
- 57:12Speaker 2: and then oh my god, twenty two insurance covers it.
- 57:15Speaker 2: But the insurance really only got billed three hundred dollars
- 57:17Speaker 2: and they only paid one six. I mean, it's all ridiculous.
- 57:21Speaker 2: You know what you pay for these medications. You're absolutely right.
- 57:23Speaker 2: A lot of people have been pushing for this, even
- 57:25Speaker 2: the President themselves saying, make it transparent, show the real cost.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Stop playing this game for the insurance companies. Let's go
- 57:33Speaker 2: to Jim in New Jersey. Jim, how you doing? Are
- 57:36Speaker 2: you going to have O'Reilly on in a little while,
- 57:39Speaker 2: in about ten minutes.
- 57:41Speaker 13: Now, I'm not going to tell you what to do.
- 57:43Speaker 7: Mark.
- 57:43Speaker 13: We however, maybe you could do me a favor. I
- 57:47Speaker 13: saw a great special on a great president. I already
- 57:49Speaker 13: knew about him. His name is James Monroe. He died
- 57:52Speaker 13: penniless in New York City in eighteen thirty one on
- 57:55Speaker 13: the fourth of July. Now, Washington was proclaimed president by proclamation.
- 58:00Speaker 13: As you know, Nixon won forty nine states.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Reagan we know only what's the point. What do you
- 58:06Speaker 2: want to ask.
- 58:09Speaker 13: If he knows if there was any president to win
- 58:11Speaker 13: every state?
- 58:12Speaker 2: Okay, there's a good question. We'll ask him that when
- 58:14Speaker 2: he gets here in a few minutes. Let's go to
- 58:16Speaker 2: Tom and Queen's.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Hey, Mark, good morning.
- 58:21Speaker 12: You think with Trump, with his sense of human do
- 58:23Speaker 12: you think that the airport change in Palm Beach, they
- 58:27Speaker 12: would change the airport.
- 58:28Speaker 3: Code from PBI to TDS.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Well, yes, that's actually a good idea. No, they have
- 58:34Speaker 2: to change the code. It will no longer be PBI,
- 58:37Speaker 2: It'll probably be DJT Donald J. Trump. But you're right,
- 58:41Speaker 2: that would be You know what, that's a brilliant idea,
- 58:44Speaker 2: absolutely brilliant. They have to you know, the airport code
- 58:49Speaker 2: never quite matches the name, so I would think DJT
- 58:52Speaker 2: Donald J. Trump. But you're right, TDS would be the
- 58:56Speaker 2: code for the Trump airport. I'll pass that along. It's
- 58:58Speaker 2: a great idea. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 59:02Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 59:02Speaker 10: Yeah, that is a great idea. Good morning, Mark of
- 59:05Speaker 10: morning matter. Mark Biden should get communists China to pony
- 59:10Speaker 10: up the money for his library. After all, she had
- 59:15Speaker 10: Biden in his back pocket all the time, all during
- 59:18Speaker 10: these years. Mark, people are forgetting that the gas prices
- 59:24Speaker 10: now across the country are the average prices that they
- 59:29Speaker 10: were all throughout the Joe Biden presidency. They were high
- 59:35Speaker 10: all dooring Joe Biden's presidency. And let's not forget Barack
- 59:40Speaker 10: Obama ware. At one point in New York we were
- 59:44Speaker 10: paying Here in Brooklyn, I was paying four sixty nine
- 59:48Speaker 10: a gallon and that was for regular You know, Mark,
- 59:53Speaker 10: every life, every soldier's life is precious and we don't
- 59:57Speaker 10: want to lose any and Donald Trump's doing everything he
- 1:00:01Speaker 10: can to keep losses down to a minimum. But let's
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: not forget that during World War two went on for
- 1:00:09Speaker 10: four years. There were four hundred and nine thousand and
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: seven hundred and thirteen people lost their lives, over a
- 1:00:19Speaker 10: million people wounded, and we're no, we're near. I was
- 1:00:25Speaker 10: talking about this, what Mara. They used to ration gas, coffee, sugar,
- 1:00:32Speaker 10: most things that people.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: You know why I called it, That's why they called
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: it the Big War, and went for years. This is
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: going to be another.
- 1:00:38Speaker 10: Couple of weeks, yeah, exactly. And it went on for
- 1:00:41Speaker 10: four years. And I remember I used to work for
- 1:00:44Speaker 10: a butcher and he was telling me how it was
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: back then, that sometimes he would get meat on the
- 1:00:50Speaker 10: black market and.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: It was rationing every Yeah, we should do that. We
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: should try rationing for two days, Vincent, great point, Thanks
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: for colling. Hey, when we come back. Bill O'Reilly will
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: be with us next on seven to ten wor.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Here's more Marks alone on seven to ten WR.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Well. Bill O'Reilly the number one TV anchor for decades,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: the biggest nonfiction author on earth. You should get his
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: latest book, Confronting Evil Now. You can go to Bill
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: O'Reilly dot com get the TV show, the column, everything,
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: but also make sure you watch the YouTube channel, Bill
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: O'Reilly's YouTube channel, great stuff, and you got to watch
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: this new podcast it's called We'll Do It Live. Great episodes.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: The latest one is Steve Sharrippa. Make sure you see
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: or listen to the Bill O'Reilly podcast Will Do It Live.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, How you doing.
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: I'm busy just like you.
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: Mark Hey.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: I love the podcast. Steve Sharippa, that's my favorite episode.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: They're all good, but he's great.
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: Thank you. And we got Steve Kroft coming up on Thursday.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: The sixty Minutes.
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: Steve Kroft, Yeah, you that should be an interesting conversation.
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: He's an old time reporter like I am. Came up
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: the traditional way. He was Obama's go to guy. You
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: may remember on sixty Minutes. Knew all the legends, Mike
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: Wallace and Hewett and all those guys. And you know,
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: CBS in the News now a lot of changes going on.
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: I'm looking forward to that chat.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: You used to work there at CBS News, and back
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: then it was a kind of a rational, sane place,
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: wasn't it.
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean it was always intense. I worked for
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: Channel two for two years with Jim Jensen and Ron
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: Smith and Warner Will for all those guys. And then
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: I got promoted to the national news Dan Rather, who
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: not particularly fond of and covered the wars in Central
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: America and the Falklands, things like that. So I was
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: busy there.
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: But it was I.
- 1:03:01Speaker 9: Would say, it was a traditional place with problems.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Yeah, well but compared to today's CBS News a little
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: more normal. You think they'll ever get these networks back
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: to normal?
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: No, it's too expensive.
- 1:03:20Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:03:20Speaker 9: Back when I was there, we used to whip around
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: the world first class airfare and best hotels and you
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: were like James Bond. Now it's Motel six and it
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: is that Jet Blue on time And the answer is no, Well.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: But that's every business. That's most businesses.
- 1:03:42Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean, but when you were at tasked to
- 1:03:45Speaker 9: really do an honest shob covering the news and you don't,
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: then there's a problem. And CBS has really gone down.
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: Now they try to bring it back, and I give
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: them credit for that.
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:03:59Speaker 9: Whether it will work or not.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Now, Bill O'Reilly, the great historian listeners calling in questions
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: for you. Ronald Reagan re election wins forty nine states unbelievable,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: But what was what was the most successful election ever.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Nobody ever won fifty, did they?
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: Washington? Nobody dissented. Yeah, and he could have been King
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: of America. Talking about no kings, they could have been
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: Washington could have been the king. Boy, they loved him
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: and rightly so. There were other landslides, but Reagan wiped
- 1:04:37Speaker 9: out Jimmy Carter because Carter was so inefficient on a
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: par with Joe Biden. You know, Biden was worse because
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: of the border. But boy, oh boy, they were both terrible.
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: And there's been a lot of terrible presidents, but these
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: two were really, really in the forefront of modern times.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Now, Bill Ridley, would you give advice to the Democrats
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: they want to go after Trump. They kid seem to
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: put their finger on what it is that's bothering them.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: It's he's not a king. This no King's made no sense.
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: Well that's the problem because No King's demonstration was really
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: no solutions demonstration, That's what it was. So where we
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: don't like choump okay, I understand, and dissent is fine,
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: and it's it's a strength of our country. We should
- 1:05:31Speaker 9: be able to protest and responsibly. But if you're going
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: to hate the guy and think he's the worst, Then
- 1:05:37Speaker 9: what do you have that's better? So the best example
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: is that, according to just about every nuclear expert in
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: the world, Iran was very close to enriching uranium to
- 1:05:52Speaker 9: the level where it could have manufactured a knew very quickly. Well,
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: what's the Democratic Party solution to that? Nothing?
- 1:06:05Speaker 10: Nothing?
- 1:06:06Speaker 9: And what's your solution to controlling immigration? We'll let them
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: all in give him amnesty. And that's Trump's strongest card
- 1:06:17Speaker 9: going into the midterms. So you may not like them,
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: and you may not support the youron war, although if
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: you don't support it, you really should have a reason.
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: Not just I at Trump Trump's war, but what are
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: you replacing Trump with? What is a Democratic Congress is
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: going to deliver. It's going to deliver higher taxes, it's
- 1:06:39Speaker 9: going to try to get amnesty for all the millions
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: of a document that people that are here with some exceptions.
- 1:06:47Speaker 9: But you really have to be a miscreant for the
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: Democrats that turn on you. If you're an illegal alien,
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: you really got to be bad. So Trump is on, okay,
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: is this what you want? And that's why the Democratic
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: Party really they think that they're gonna sweep. But I'm
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: not so sure about that.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it's months and months and months where anything could happen. So, hey,
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: you're a Nassau County resident. Bruce Blakeman, great county executive,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: he's coming up in the police, he's closing the gap
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: with Kathy Hokeel. I think he's got a good chance.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:07:27Speaker 10: I do.
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: He's got to get this funding thing, and that'll go
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: to federal court if they deny him in Albany the
- 1:07:34Speaker 9: funding because they did make a clerical error, the Blakeman
- 1:07:38Speaker 9: campaign did. But I don't think you can alter an
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: election financing an election for a clerical era that has
- 1:07:49Speaker 9: been corrected. And if the Democrats you know, so no,
- 1:07:54Speaker 9: you're not getting any matching funds. I think has to
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: go to federal court and Blakeman will win. The problem
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: that Blakeman has is that people in New York don't
- 1:08:03Speaker 9: know him, and it's still to this day. I mean,
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: you go north of Dutchess County, then people don't know
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: Bruce Blakeman, and he's got to buy that. He's got
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: to get on television and establish himself. The advantage he
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: has is Hopel because Hochel is now tied to Mandami
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: and she wants to get away from him, but she's
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: not going to be able to do that. And the
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: worst it gets in the city, the worse it's going
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: to get for Hope.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Yeah, so Blakeman could be this could be a very
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Pataki like race. We didn't know him either, but he
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: just looked more genuine, more authentic, and people loved him
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: as they got to know him. So I could see
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: that happening here.
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: What do you think, Well, it just depends on New
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: York as tolerance for pain. You know, how much of
- 1:08:54Speaker 9: pain do we have to experience here with this democratic
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: one already leadership and it's you know, people are fleeing.
- 1:09:03Speaker 9: Everybody knows that the big money is going to south.
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: The budget deficit is insane. Mandami is confused, He's thirty
- 1:09:13Speaker 9: four years old. He can't run the city. It's going
- 1:09:16Speaker 9: to get worse and worse and worse. He making every
- 1:09:19Speaker 9: mistake you could possibly make. He's allying himself with the
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: most radical elements. He himself is a communist and he is.
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: You know, all you have to do is look at
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: the estate tax and what he wants to take away
- 1:09:31Speaker 9: from hard working Americans who save their money and want
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: to pass it along to their family, to their heiress.
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: He wants to take it all. I'm wants to take
- 1:09:41Speaker 9: it all. Yeah, that's communism.
- 1:09:45Speaker 10: And so.
- 1:09:48Speaker 9: The people of New York State, a lot of them
- 1:09:51Speaker 9: are distracted, a lot of them are poor, and they
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: want the handouts above all else. And I don't mean
- 1:09:58Speaker 9: to diminish poor people, but come on, we all know
- 1:10:01Speaker 9: what's going on there, and how much pain do you
- 1:10:05Speaker 9: want to absorb? And you know, I hate going into
- 1:10:10Speaker 9: that city now I used to love it. I got
- 1:10:13Speaker 9: to go tomorrow into the city. You know, it's dirty.
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: I don't feel threatened. I mean, you know when I'm
- 1:10:19Speaker 9: walking around, but I'm not walking around late at night.
- 1:10:23Speaker 9: But there's marijuana smoke on every block. You know, kids
- 1:10:27Speaker 9: got to look at these indignities of people on the
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: street doing all this crazy stuff. It's gonna get worse.
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: So that's the key question in November. How much pain
- 1:10:38Speaker 9: do you want to absorb to keep the democratic structure
- 1:10:41Speaker 9: in place?
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Well, hey, the Trump Presidential Library, it has been announced
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: it'll be Miami. If this were ten years ago, wouldn't
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: you think he want that library in New York? But
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: now he can't do it because of the crazy left
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: wing controlling.
- 1:10:57Speaker 9: Yeah, if he does it, will be indicted for whatever
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: it may be. He got five exits and you need eight,
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: so we're taken into federal court. Look, Donald Trump epitomizes
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: New York. He epitomized this the swagger of the city.
- 1:11:17Speaker 9: I wrote a book called The United States of Trump
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: that demonstrated how he did what he did as far
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: as building himself up into this unbelievable real estate colossus
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: when his father didn't want any part of it. The
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: guy is a quintessential New Yorker and now he can't
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: come here. Yeah, there's something wrong about that.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Hey, even though I read in California there's an exodus
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: from there, biggest dropping population have experienced in many, many years.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: So I assume we can blame Gavin Newsom for that. Correct.
- 1:11:49Speaker 9: Well, I did a special this week on San Francisco
- 1:11:53Speaker 9: in the Collapse of It. It's on Billowilly dot com.
- 1:11:57Speaker 9: It's harrowing, absolutely harrowing, and it's mirrored on La County.
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: It's not La County is not quite as bad as
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: San Francisco yet, because San Francisco is a smaller situation
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: than a forty thousand drug addic substance abusers running around
- 1:12:15Speaker 9: causing all kinds of problems. They're in a certain area,
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: so you're overwhelmed. Whereas La County's biggest county in a country.
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: It's spread out, but it's the same problem. No law enforcement, none,
- 1:12:30Speaker 9: And so when you have that kind of anarchy, people
- 1:12:33Speaker 9: feel afraid because they shouldn't. And if you get in
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: trouble in La County, I don't know where you go.
- 1:12:42Speaker 9: It's not the cops. The cops they're good, but the
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: judges and the prosecutors won't bring you cases. So forty
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: thousand homeless drug addicts running around San Francisco, it's ruined
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: the city. You got to watch that, Simon. It's really something.
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: You go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. Just punch it
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: right up and there I am in the middle of
- 1:13:04Speaker 9: the Tenderloin district and I'll stow on it out for you.
- 1:13:08Speaker 9: It should never happen in America. Something like that should
- 1:13:11Speaker 9: never happen in this country.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Everybody should go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. Make sure
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: you watch the San Francisco special. Also you get the
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: TV show the column. Make sure you watch the new
