- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the EDS with Eddie Judge and Edwin Aroyave.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to the EDS podcast. I'm Eddie Judge and
- 0:08Speaker 1: I have my co host, Welcome back Brother, that's good
- 0:12Speaker 1: to be bad. And today we have a special guest.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Everybody who doesn't know Frank Ktanya. He's a very special guy.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Met him a couple of times and we hit it
- 0:23Speaker 1: off right from the start. I think I am like
- 0:26Speaker 1: a mirror image of him, not physically because he's so
- 0:29Speaker 1: much bigger than me, but we have a lot in common.
- 0:31Speaker 1: So I'm really excited to get to talk to Frank,
- 0:34Speaker 1: and I'm really excited for you guys to get to
- 0:36Speaker 1: know him. Frank Katanya is the ex husband of Dolores Katanya.
- 0:41Speaker 1: She's from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. They're sure
- 0:44Speaker 1: two kids together, Frank Junior and Gabby. And what makes
- 0:47Speaker 1: Frank different from other ex husbands is the amazing relationship
- 0:51Speaker 1: he has with Dolores and her now partner Paulie. And
- 0:55Speaker 1: I know you guys know that we had Paulie on
- 0:58Speaker 1: the podcast recently and you got to hear his side.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It was so awesome, So I can't wait to hear
- 1:03Speaker 1: of Frank's side. Plus, he's part of the Jersey Friendships
- 1:08Speaker 1: on the show, and you know how those guys just
- 1:10Speaker 1: get along great and put on a show. And I
- 1:12Speaker 1: believe Frank is part of a of a show with
- 1:16Speaker 1: Joe Gorga, so I can't wait to hear your part
- 1:18Speaker 1: of that as well. So welcome Frank Patania.
- 1:22Speaker 2: It's my pleasure, it's my honor to be on the edge.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So thank you.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Yeah, we're grateful to have you. And first of all,
- 1:30Speaker 3: congratulations on getting married.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Brittany, I heard that was a big, big surprise, big secret.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Honestly, we tried to keep it a secret from everybody
- 1:42Speaker 4: because our wedding we did have a destination wedding and
- 1:46Speaker 4: the hurricane destroyed that. We rescheduled and they weren't ready.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So finally Brittany just said, you know, enough's enough.
- 1:53Speaker 2: You know, that was it.
- 1:54Speaker 4: So we ended up getting married and we might as
- 1:58Speaker 4: well just jump into it. And Brittany and I got married,
- 2:02Speaker 4: and we were married all right, by our dame minister,
- 2:06Speaker 4: who happens to be Dolores's ex boyfriend, David.
- 2:11Speaker 3: This is sexual.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Let's back up a little bit. I want to get
- 2:15Speaker 1: to know you Frank, where did you grow up? You
- 2:17Speaker 1: know and know you're Italian?
- 2:18Speaker 2: Right, Italian.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I'm a Jersey boy through and through and through, although
- 2:25Speaker 4: we may be making the exit from Jersey partly, you know,
- 2:28Speaker 4: part of the year. Okay, one more we call over
- 2:31Speaker 4: here a snowbird. But I go ahead. Initially grew up
- 2:36Speaker 4: in Patterson, and I had a young at a young age,
- 2:39Speaker 4: I left the city winter, the suburb, and I've been
- 2:42Speaker 4: in the suburbs of Jersey, uh, the Jersey Shore as well.
- 2:46Speaker 4: You name it everything Jersey and then Guido persona and stereotype.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I fit it all.
- 2:52Speaker 1: So is Patterson that Guido type? Or how different is
- 2:57Speaker 1: Patterson's from Jersey Shore from suburbs.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Patterson Patterson itself right now, which Dolores knows like the
- 3:06Speaker 4: back of her hand. It is a city, all right,
- 3:09Speaker 4: definitely different than the suburbs. You know, I don't know
- 3:13Speaker 4: so much if you've got the Guido's maybe at one
- 3:15Speaker 4: time coming out of Patterson, but now the Guidos have
- 3:19Speaker 4: more more into the suburbs.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Okay, So what's Patterson about now? Because I know there
- 3:24Speaker 1: was a subject about Patterson. I just wanted to get
- 3:26Speaker 1: to know what Patterson is all about.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Patterson is an urban area. Okay, it's an urban area.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Back in the day, it was when I tell you
- 3:36Speaker 4: it was the silk the factory capital of the world.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Right, that's where something.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I mean, you still see some of the silk factories
- 3:45Speaker 4: as well as the garment factories there and some of
- 3:49Speaker 4: the houses that were built in Patterson. We we do
- 3:52Speaker 4: a lot of real estate, so we we get them
- 3:55Speaker 4: now many many years later. They have wouldwork inside these places, guys,
- 3:59Speaker 4: which you never when you hear about Patterson, you would
- 4:02Speaker 4: never expect inside these they will never be duplicated. They
- 4:05Speaker 4: would never be duplicated. The architecture inside some of the
- 4:09Speaker 4: buildings there. It's a great city. It's a great city.
- 4:12Speaker 4: It truly is. But it's a city. It is a city.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So does it resemble Italian architecture and you know, really
- 4:21Speaker 1: unique things or are we talking about shitholes?
- 4:25Speaker 4: Honestly, it's not so much a shithole. But I gotta
- 4:28Speaker 4: be honest with you.
- 4:28Speaker 2: It's Italians. Italians came here of this. I mean, it
- 4:32Speaker 2: is what it is.
- 4:32Speaker 4: We're at the bottom of a total pole. Okay, Patterson
- 4:35Speaker 4: was already here. The garment districts were already here. The
- 4:38Speaker 4: silk factories were already here, so that they were all
- 4:42Speaker 4: basically by non Italians. We came in and we worked there,
- 4:45Speaker 4: all right, we worked there. You initially, we started at
- 4:47Speaker 4: the bottom of the total pole. So Patterson itself didn't
- 4:50Speaker 4: have Italians one hundred percent. There are certain areas of
- 4:53Speaker 4: Patterson where it was all Italian. Since that time, it
- 4:57Speaker 4: has since changed, all right, it's not so much, which
- 5:00Speaker 4: you know, Italian now anymore. The Italians moved out into
- 5:03Speaker 4: the suburbs. But yes, there it was. When I tell
- 5:07Speaker 4: you that there was definitely an Italian heritage in Patterson. Everybody,
- 5:11Speaker 4: everybody you talked to in this area of New Jersey,
- 5:14Speaker 4: either they or their family came from Patterson.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Did you meet the Laurus in Patterson?
- 5:19Speaker 4: I met the laurd Now, I didn't meet the Lauris
- 5:21Speaker 4: in Patterson, although you know, we had a huge nexus
- 5:25Speaker 4: in Patterson. I went to a retirement dinner for a judge.
- 5:30Speaker 4: When I was there, Delores and her mom were waitresses
- 5:33Speaker 4: all right at this banquet center, and I just said
- 5:36Speaker 4: to myself, holy shit, she's fucking gorgeous, all right, in
- 5:41Speaker 4: a big pussy that I am. Guys, I didn't approach her, right,
- 5:44Speaker 4: I had one of my associate lawyers at that time.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I said, go talk to her for me, go talk
- 5:48Speaker 2: to him anyway.
- 5:50Speaker 4: You know, I got her phone number and ever since
- 5:53Speaker 4: then that was it hit it off.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So you just hit on something really unique that I
- 5:58Speaker 1: wanted to ask about, and that's law. Were you a lawyer,
- 6:01Speaker 1: a law clerk, or aolved in law?
- 6:05Speaker 2: I was a lawyer. I was a lawyer for yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 2: for twenty three years. I was a lawyer.
- 6:08Speaker 4: In fact, yeah, I was the head prosecutor for the
- 6:11Speaker 4: city of Hackensack.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I was a prosecutor another township I was. I was
- 6:17Speaker 2: well respected. You know.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I did a lot of criminal law. I did a
- 6:20Speaker 4: lot of divorced law. I specialized in real estate law,
- 6:23Speaker 4: all right, not only closing but also real estate litigation.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I always wondered as a prosecutor, are you like fearing
- 6:41Speaker 3: for your life at times? Are you always looking over
- 6:43Speaker 3: your shoulder or is it no big deal?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah? You normally?
- 6:47Speaker 4: Possibly, yes, you would have to look at guys. I
- 6:51Speaker 4: was always fair and honestly. I did one good thing
- 6:53Speaker 4: about the Housewives, which I just throw out through real quick.
- 6:55Speaker 4: I love the fact that everybody comes up and says,
- 6:57Speaker 4: oh my god, you're such a good guy in the show.
- 6:59Speaker 4: That's all right, that's truly me, and that passed on
- 7:02Speaker 4: to me being a prosecutor as well. If you come
- 7:04Speaker 4: to if you come to Jersey, you go down to
- 7:06Speaker 4: the Jersey Shore, you got the boardwalk and you're walking
- 7:09Speaker 4: down and people always recognize you and notice it. And
- 7:12Speaker 4: when they come up, it's funny because you don't know
- 7:14Speaker 4: how to act first, because I don't know whether they
- 7:16Speaker 4: know me from I want to come up. I went
- 7:18Speaker 4: to school with them. I don't know if they knew
- 7:20Speaker 4: me from a prosecutor, or they know or they knew
- 7:23Speaker 4: me from the show. Well one, I'm more than a cat,
- 7:31Speaker 4: more than a cat. But the one good thing is
- 7:34Speaker 4: and guys, it's probably a dozen times I've had people
- 7:38Speaker 4: come up to me and you realize that that you
- 7:40Speaker 4: know them as you prosecuted them, and they would say
- 7:44Speaker 4: to me, you know, thank you so much. I said,
- 7:46Speaker 4: if it wasn't for you, listen, I had an addiction.
- 7:48Speaker 4: You didn't put me, you didn't put me in jail.
- 7:50Speaker 4: You believed in me, and look, this is my family.
- 7:53Speaker 4: They'd introduced me to their kids. Then and I was
- 7:57Speaker 4: more than fair. I was more than fair, because guys, listen,
- 8:00Speaker 4: there's many times unfortunately I was on the opposite the
- 8:03Speaker 4: other end of the law. It's out there, you know,
- 8:05Speaker 4: when you get into housewives. I don't have to tell you, guys, it's.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Everything's open book, everything comes out.
- 8:11Speaker 4: I was.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I was arrested when I was at law school, all right.
- 8:14Speaker 4: So as much as I got lawyer, as much as
- 8:19Speaker 4: I got it expunged, I gotta be honest with you.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You know, it's still out there.
- 8:25Speaker 3: What were you What were you arrested for? I don't
- 8:28Speaker 3: know one.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, I was arrested for. I was arrested
- 8:30Speaker 2: for drugs. I was arrested for drugs, and you name it.
- 8:33Speaker 4: I was admitted to practice law in New Jersey while
- 8:36Speaker 4: on probation on a criminal matter, which.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I was the first one out there, all right. Not
- 8:43Speaker 2: only did I had a a.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Period of probation with a probation officer, but I also
- 8:48Speaker 4: had an appointed attorney who was my legal probation officer.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Uh in the attorney aspect, right. So so yes, guys,
- 8:58Speaker 4: there's not.
- 8:59Speaker 2: One side of me, there's no many sides.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I love it.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Any side, well, I guess the good news with that
- 9:05Speaker 3: is you get to think like both sides, right, You're
- 9:07Speaker 3: knowing you're a prosecutor.
- 9:09Speaker 2: One hundred percent.
- 9:10Speaker 4: And that's why I was more than fair, because if
- 9:12Speaker 4: I didn't get it, if I didn't get that chance,
- 9:15Speaker 4: I would never be where.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I was today. I would never be where I was today.
- 9:18Speaker 4: And I always tried to, you know, I always tried
- 9:21Speaker 4: to give everyone a second chance. I've seen, unfortunately, I've
- 9:25Speaker 4: seen the firsthand. I don't care what part of the
- 9:29Speaker 4: spectrum you are on when it comes to wealth, because
- 9:32Speaker 4: there's certain areas of Bergen County which have some of
- 9:34Speaker 4: the richest townships in the country, which would show up.
- 9:38Speaker 4: I was in Hackensack, which is basically the hub of
- 9:41Speaker 4: Bergen County, so you would see people coming there who
- 9:44Speaker 4: are just mega rich. And over a period of six
- 9:47Speaker 4: months that I'm handling this case, you'll you'll see the parents,
- 9:51Speaker 4: the parents age aged fifteen years having a child that
- 9:55Speaker 4: they could to hireman. All right, but they go through
- 9:58Speaker 4: and you know, I'm happy. I'm happy, Listen. I am
- 10:02Speaker 4: absolutely no regrets. There's many things I got regrets about,
- 10:04Speaker 4: but not anything to do with me being a prosecutor.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Absolutely not.
- 10:08Speaker 3: At that moment the catalyst to change your life around,
- 10:12Speaker 3: Like just hitting, was that like a rock bottom moment
- 10:14Speaker 3: for you that just kind of made you flip the
- 10:16Speaker 3: switch and say, I want to do some different.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Listen.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Unfortunately, I've had a lot of those rock bottom because
- 10:24Speaker 4: I guys, on a daily basis, I go to the
- 10:26Speaker 4: top of the mountain. At the end of the day,
- 10:29Speaker 4: I may be that's my life, guys, all right, that's
- 10:32Speaker 4: my life. So yes, it was to a point where
- 10:36Speaker 4: you want somebody gave me a second chance, all right?
- 10:38Speaker 2: And what am I to do? Put you in jail?
- 10:40Speaker 2: All right?
- 10:41Speaker 4: Because what we did do sometimes is you know, I
- 10:44Speaker 4: would give someone a jail sentence or recommend the jail
- 10:46Speaker 4: sentence if there was no other way to get them
- 10:50Speaker 4: to stop. Because listen, if you're incarcerated, all right, if
- 10:54Speaker 4: we incarcerate you for less than a less than a year,
- 10:57Speaker 4: you stay in county jail, all right. And if you're
- 10:59Speaker 4: in a county jail, I'm gonna be honest, it's almost
- 11:01Speaker 4: nearly impossible for you to get drugs in there, so
- 11:04Speaker 4: it's almost like a forced detox, all right. And other
- 11:08Speaker 4: than that, no, man, I'm not gonna you know, I'm
- 11:11Speaker 4: not gonna put you in I'm not going to course,
- 11:12Speaker 4: I'm not gonna put you in jail for.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Something that that speaks volumes of you because I you know,
- 11:17Speaker 1: my experience in the law, it's it's changed me a
- 11:20Speaker 1: little bit where I would say the majority of the
- 11:24Speaker 1: lawyers that have ever come across are just pieces of ships.
- 11:28Speaker 1: They may one hundred are actually like respectable and really
- 11:34Speaker 1: care for you know, a good outcome or I should
- 11:37Speaker 1: say a fair outcome, right, So that speaks volume to you, Frank,
- 11:41Speaker 1: and I have a lot of respect for that. You know,
- 11:44Speaker 1: you are a good guy.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You know I appreciate that.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Man. I trying to think so and guys, I put
- 11:50Speaker 4: it out there so many different times. I always consider
- 11:52Speaker 4: myself to be somewhat of a good guy. But I
- 11:55Speaker 4: went further in two thousand and seven my mother passed away,
- 11:59Speaker 4: and guys, that changed everything.
- 12:01Speaker 2: That changed everything.
- 12:02Speaker 4: You realize, you realize you want to know something really
- 12:04Speaker 4: that's that's important. Important things that I things I used
- 12:07Speaker 4: to get mad at that things I used to set
- 12:09Speaker 4: I'm embarrassed now, you know to say you know, I
- 12:13Speaker 4: say it all the time. I have a screensaverer on
- 12:15Speaker 4: my computer at work. It's a big screen and as
- 12:17Speaker 4: this little kid, he's got to be maybe seven years old.
- 12:19Speaker 4: He's crossing a finish line, all right. You can see
- 12:22Speaker 4: he's running a race. He's crossing a finish line. He's
- 12:24Speaker 4: got his hands up in the air. He's got a
- 12:26Speaker 4: huge smile on his face. All right, but we don't
- 12:28Speaker 4: see is he scanned down. He's got two prosthetic legs.
- 12:31Speaker 4: You want to know something, bro, If he can smile
- 12:34Speaker 4: and he could love life, the way is who the
- 12:36Speaker 4: fuck am I to complained about the things that I
- 12:38Speaker 4: can play?
- 12:38Speaker 2: All right? And I mean, you know, I was embarrassed.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I was embarrassed to myself.
- 12:43Speaker 4: My god, I can't believe you're getting met So yes,
- 12:45Speaker 4: truly that that was a changing moment in my life.
- 12:48Speaker 2: And Dolores, Dolorous and her family were also a changing
- 12:53Speaker 2: moment in my life. And now my present wife is
- 12:57Speaker 2: just a sweetheart. She is happy all the time.
- 13:00Speaker 4: You know, it never gives me grief. There's no drama.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Always the glasses half full, ber right.
- 13:06Speaker 1: So I think the key to that is surrounding yourself
- 13:11Speaker 1: with those kinds of people, you know, the people that
- 13:14Speaker 1: see the glass have full instead of half empty, and
- 13:18Speaker 1: everything's positive and we all get kicked down and you know,
- 13:21Speaker 1: shit happens and we got to just get back up
- 13:24Speaker 1: and do life. And it's how you do it that determines,
- 13:28Speaker 1: you know, the true outcome. You can have a good
- 13:30Speaker 1: positive attitude push through the you know, adversaries, or you
- 13:35Speaker 1: can sit back and drink and smoke and do drugs
- 13:38Speaker 1: and mess your life up and say, oh it's it's
- 13:40Speaker 1: you know, I deserve better than this, but you can't
- 13:44Speaker 1: get yourself out of that hell hole. So it's it's definitely,
- 13:48Speaker 1: it definitely helps to be surrounded by good, good, positive
- 13:52Speaker 1: people and it sounds like that's your circle.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Man.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I had Polly on our podcast recently and held me
- 14:00Speaker 1: the dynamics of your relationship and I was blown away.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Wait wait, you guys go to dinner together with the
- 14:07Speaker 1: ex'es and yeah, and even he.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Wasn't initially, it wasn't initially like that. All he came
- 14:13Speaker 2: in and I said, man, do me a favor. I said,
- 14:16Speaker 2: just just see it, you know. And and the thing
- 14:18Speaker 2: is he had he had an issue because one of them.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It was it was new to him.
- 14:23Speaker 4: It was new and that he wasn't used to that.
- 14:25Speaker 4: And I said, and I used to talk to Dolores
- 14:27Speaker 4: because I know Polly had an issue with it. I said, Doloris,
- 14:29Speaker 4: let him just see us together. And when you see
- 14:33Speaker 4: us together, the last thing you got to worry about
- 14:35Speaker 4: is that, you know, honestly, of anything there between me
- 14:39Speaker 4: and Dolores.
- 14:39Speaker 1: All right, how would you describe that relationship then my
- 14:42Speaker 1: brother's sister.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Yes, honestly, this Dolores is an incredible person, and an
- 14:48Speaker 4: incredible person, guys, I'm lucky to have met her and
- 14:53Speaker 4: her family.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I'm honestly at her family.
- 14:56Speaker 4: They they showed me a whole nother caring side and
- 14:58Speaker 4: everything else, and and and delorious Delrius is a realist,
- 15:02Speaker 4: all right, Laurias said to me, listen, do me a favor.
- 15:05Speaker 4: It came into the relations every man cheats, all right,
- 15:07Speaker 4: every man cheats, all right, do me a favorite.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Don't beat me, all right? Come home at night, and
- 15:11Speaker 2: don't make a fool out of me.
- 15:12Speaker 4: All right.
- 15:13Speaker 2: I don't know why I couldn't come home at night.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I try one thing, to do one thing, but you know, and.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Again, even to the point where to show you what
- 15:27Speaker 4: a woman Dolorous was I end up cheating, guys, I
- 15:31Speaker 4: ended up cheating one of my divorce clients, no less,
- 15:33Speaker 4: all right, all right, So after about four months and
- 15:37Speaker 4: I was running around.
- 15:40Speaker 2: The Laurius came up to me and it's the kind
- 15:42Speaker 2: of woman is, Frank, do me a favorite? Honestly?
- 15:45Speaker 4: Come home now, come home now. I will never mention
- 15:48Speaker 4: this woman again. All right, let's move forward. And guys, yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 4: I couldn't do it because I did love her so much.
- 15:56Speaker 4: And I said, Dolorous, I hope you understand what I'm
- 15:58Speaker 4: gonna say. I can't say that I wouldn't do it
- 16:00Speaker 4: again right now. I don't trust myself, and I can't
- 16:04Speaker 4: see putting you through the hurt that I saw her
- 16:06Speaker 4: go through, all right, when I say she was my partner,
- 16:09Speaker 4: all right, so as Dolorus will say, Dolorus divorced me
- 16:13Speaker 4: in order to keep our family together, right, And and
- 16:16Speaker 4: that's exactly it, man, bro. There's no separate vacations, there's
- 16:21Speaker 4: no separate birthdays for the kids, there's no separate kid Christmas.
- 16:24Speaker 4: She saw me go through that with my parents, all right,
- 16:27Speaker 4: and she said that's not going to happen to us,
- 16:29Speaker 4: right quite honestly, I get anoledge you. I don't think
- 16:31Speaker 4: my kids until they were like eighteen years old, you
- 16:34Speaker 4: realize that we were divorced. I think they just think
- 16:36Speaker 4: we lived separate and had separate relationships with different people.
- 16:39Speaker 1: All right, How old were the kids when that happened?
- 16:42Speaker 2: It starts the kids were young, all right, when a
- 16:45Speaker 2: ship hit the fan. My son was just my son
- 16:47Speaker 2: is just that's Eddie and Eddie. Let me tell you
- 16:52Speaker 2: somethingbout my timing could have been a.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Worse Yeah, I could have been, all right, could have been.
- 16:57Speaker 3: And how long were you guys married at that point?
- 16:59Speaker 2: I think yeah, we were probably married is seventy seven?
- 17:03Speaker 2: Eight years all right before we ended up getting divorced.
- 17:06Speaker 2: But she did.
- 17:07Speaker 4: She put her feelings of personal feelings aside in order
- 17:10Speaker 4: that our kids would not suffer in any way whatsoever. Okay,
- 17:14Speaker 4: when I tell you, oh, you know the joint trips,
- 17:17Speaker 4: you name it, all right. Our divorce was nasty. Our
- 17:20Speaker 4: divorce is nasty. What you see now is what the
- 17:24Speaker 4: culmination of a very nasty divorce?
- 17:26Speaker 2: All right?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Well, can you elaborate a little bit more about that?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Because I would imagine with having such a great ability
- 17:33Speaker 1: to communicate and put the bad feelings aside that the
- 17:36Speaker 1: divorce would have been smooth. So what made it nasty?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Exactly what you mentioned before? Attorneys.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Attorney, right, my attorney, because listen, first of all, you
- 17:47Speaker 4: never represent yourself, right yeah, any attorney that represents itself
- 17:51Speaker 4: as a.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Fool for a client, all right, too smart?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Oh listen, hi, guys. I felt guilty, all right.
- 17:57Speaker 4: And at the time that we were getting divorced, we
- 17:59Speaker 4: were doing very very well, all right, So I said,
- 18:01Speaker 4: do Loris, I apologize here, let me get and I
- 18:04Speaker 4: made an offer to her, and it was more. And
- 18:06Speaker 4: I did divorce, so I know it was much more
- 18:08Speaker 4: that the court would give her, all right, Me and
- 18:11Speaker 4: Doris and then her attorney at the time, he kept
- 18:13Speaker 4: saying no, no, no, and I'm like, Delors, please don't,
- 18:16Speaker 4: let's not go to court. We ended up going to court.
- 18:19Speaker 4: And while we're in court and basically judge made a
- 18:22Speaker 4: ruling that Delors was entitled to it.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Was a little bit more than half what I offered her. Yeah, right.
- 18:28Speaker 4: We walked out of the courtroom. Dolors looked to me
- 18:31Speaker 4: and she goes this, and I'm not going to fight you.
- 18:34Speaker 4: I'm not going to fight you.
- 18:36Speaker 2: And ever since then, Dolors and I have never looked
- 18:40Speaker 2: at our property sell grieving.
- 18:41Speaker 4: All right.
- 18:41Speaker 2: When it came to money, if.
- 18:43Speaker 4: I had it, she had it, all right. She knew
- 18:45Speaker 4: the business that I was in. She knew that that
- 18:47Speaker 4: that we had peace and valleys throughout the year. So
- 18:50Speaker 4: there are certain times where she got much more. There
- 18:53Speaker 4: were certain times that we're slow. I said, the work
- 18:54Speaker 4: with me, all right, And Dolores is a beast in
- 18:57Speaker 4: a good way, all right. When things got rough, Delorius
- 19:00Speaker 4: went back to school to become a surgical tech.
- 19:03Speaker 2: All right.
- 19:03Speaker 4: She bartended at night. And then when things are good,
- 19:06Speaker 4: I mean the listen she did. She reaped the benefits,
- 19:09Speaker 4: all right. She reaped the benefits. And one of the
- 19:11Speaker 4: thing which I do say is, you know is I
- 19:14Speaker 4: tried as hard as I could to make sure that
- 19:15Speaker 4: my children and Dolores, all right, didn't suffer whatsoever. I
- 19:19Speaker 4: was a single guy at the time. I was living
- 19:21Speaker 4: on my own, all right, listen, and I lived comfortably.
- 19:23Speaker 4: But if someone had to take a hit.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I would it would be me, all right.
- 19:29Speaker 4: And so yeah, we went through and it finally got
- 19:31Speaker 4: to a point where Delorus do me favor, just gave
- 19:34Speaker 4: me a shorthouse. We just ended up building a new shorehouse,
- 19:36Speaker 4: all right. And Dolores said, okay, came down, packed her
- 19:44Speaker 4: bag down here, so and she wasn't upset. And next
- 19:48Speaker 4: thing you know, she went from the third floor where
- 19:50Speaker 4: the bedroom is, down to the second floor and unpacked
- 19:54Speaker 4: her suitcase on the second floor. And I said, what
- 19:55Speaker 4: are you doing? Guys like guys when she said to me,
- 19:59Speaker 4: she says, I said you can have the house. I
- 20:02Speaker 4: didn't say I wasn't going to use it. She basically
- 20:04Speaker 4: took another bedroom in the house. And guys still to
- 20:08Speaker 4: this day, de Laurius comes down. It's it's the one
- 20:11Speaker 4: place where the kids get older and they have their
- 20:14Speaker 4: own lives. It's the only place that everyone gets together,
- 20:16Speaker 4: all right. And that's the and that that that signifies
- 20:21Speaker 4: the type of relationship Dolorus and I.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Have, yeah, you know.
- 20:25Speaker 4: But and so Paulie came along, and Paulie wasn't used
- 20:27Speaker 4: to it. And you asked, You asked, daddy, you know
- 20:31Speaker 4: what kind of relationship. It got to the point where,
- 20:33Speaker 4: almost like exactly that De Laius. I love Delorius probably
- 20:37Speaker 4: as much as I love anyone else in my life.
- 20:38Speaker 4: My children. Brittany you name it, all right, She's that
- 20:41Speaker 4: important to me because of what she allowed to keep
- 20:44Speaker 4: our family together, all right, where she sactified personally in
- 20:48Speaker 4: order to keep our family together. I can never thank
- 20:50Speaker 4: her for, all right.
- 20:52Speaker 2: So we've always been good. But again to the point,
- 20:54Speaker 2: it's it's it's.
- 20:55Speaker 4: More like she's my younger, my younger sister, right where
- 20:59Speaker 4: I protect her, I will, I will. She calls me
- 21:01Speaker 4: at three o'clock in the morning, she needs me, I
- 21:03Speaker 4: will go. And I can tell you right now, Brittany
- 21:05Speaker 4: wouldn't have a problem with it.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Brittany. Brittany saw Mina Dolores's relationship like eight years before
- 21:11Speaker 2: you know we got serious.
- 21:13Speaker 1: You were friends, right, yes, yes, exactly. There's a lot
- 21:18Speaker 1: of history there.
- 21:20Speaker 4: So she saw, she saw the relationship with Dolores and I,
- 21:23Speaker 4: so she knew that there was nothing to worry about.
- 21:26Speaker 4: So that's when when Polly came around initially, all right,
- 21:30Speaker 4: And one thing about Paulie, I can tell you something
- 21:32Speaker 4: place in Paulie and I are in the same certain ways,
- 21:34Speaker 4: but we're different. You don't have to guess where you
- 21:38Speaker 4: staying with Polly, right, paul Polis is straightforward as they come.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Man, he's got an issue. He'll tell you, all right,
- 21:43Speaker 2: he'll tell you. That's one good thing about him.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Man.
- 21:46Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, So I kept saying, just let Holy be
- 21:49Speaker 4: around us when we're all together, so little, but little
- 21:52Speaker 4: by little, all right, he did. And now, honestly, guys,
- 21:56Speaker 4: the relationship amongst all of us is great.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It was surprising to hear his side, and he said
- 22:02Speaker 1: exactly the same thing. He was a little apprehensive at first,
- 22:05Speaker 1: but the minute he got comfortable. I mean, he loves
- 22:08Speaker 1: the entire family, including you, including your family, her family, everybody.
- 22:12Speaker 1: It's just incredible family.
- 22:15Speaker 4: He's got incredible boys. He's got great, two great sons.
- 22:18Speaker 2: All right.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Good, So I said to them all the time. You
- 22:23Speaker 2: know the fact, if they didn't, they weren't so irish.
- 22:26Speaker 4: All right, Yeah, I said to Paulie, I didn't check
- 22:28Speaker 4: the DNA because I don't believe they're yours.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Way too nice.
- 22:40Speaker 3: So I have an interesting question for you. So obviously
- 22:42Speaker 3: you met Dolores. You, you were obviously very attracted to her.
- 22:45Speaker 3: You like, who is this I need to talk to
- 22:46Speaker 3: the scroaches, the most gorgeous gro I've ever seen, probably
- 22:49Speaker 3: at the time, right, at what point did you go
- 22:51Speaker 3: more towards friend zone, like did you were you still
- 22:55Speaker 3: married or was it after that you started seeing her
- 22:57Speaker 3: as a friend or was it during the marriage that
- 22:59Speaker 3: you guys sort of became friends and then that's what
- 23:02Speaker 3: ultimately led you to, you know, start doing your thing.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Delorius.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I always to this day I think Delorius is a
- 23:10Speaker 4: beautiful woman, attractive, you name it all, right.
- 23:13Speaker 2: A right.
- 23:16Speaker 4: It was the point in time where I think where
- 23:21Speaker 4: said I can't come home, I can't pretty metre of fact,
- 23:23Speaker 4: I can't hurt you yet, I can't hurt you again,
- 23:26Speaker 4: and and and then and then and then it then
- 23:28Speaker 4: it changed right then it then it changed so and again.
- 23:32Speaker 4: You know, it's just I still absolutely care for her,
- 23:36Speaker 4: love her like the way I did when we're married
- 23:38Speaker 4: and everything.
- 23:38Speaker 2: It's just a different love guys.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I totally understand that. Yeah, very selfless
- 23:44Speaker 1: of you.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Yeah, most would just keep on doing it if they
- 23:47Speaker 3: get the chance to just continue to do that, just
- 23:49Speaker 3: keep on doing it. It was very selfless of you
- 23:50Speaker 3: to actually walk away at that point, because that's you know,
- 23:53Speaker 3: when you can get the best of all.
- 23:56Speaker 4: The worlds it, you know, the Lawyusser, the Wrus doesn't cry, right,
- 24:01Speaker 4: the lorus doesn't cry.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Oh no, man, you have no idea.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I think I think, I think I know like maybe
- 24:07Speaker 4: three instances that the ruses ever crist all right, and
- 24:11Speaker 4: and I knew how upset you know, our relationship, and
- 24:15Speaker 4: and and and me being unfaithful hurt her. Guys, I
- 24:18Speaker 4: just couldn't. I couldn't do it again. I couldn't do
- 24:20Speaker 4: it again, all right, me, honestly, I'm different. You know,
- 24:24Speaker 4: I watched Extreme Makeover on TV. I start crying, right,
- 24:28Speaker 4: I'm a pussy, Guys, I'm gonna emotional. And as you
- 24:31Speaker 4: get older, you get.
- 24:32Speaker 1: More and more. Oh, by the way, Frank, I wanted
- 24:36Speaker 1: to before I forget to mention this nice teeth like them,
- 24:41Speaker 1: we got the same teeth.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I love those guys. They did such a great job.
- 24:47Speaker 1: You guys went to the same people Texas.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, they're awesome. Let me tell you, I have nothing
- 24:53Speaker 2: but great things to say about that.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I really enjoyed being with, you know, just meeting them,
- 24:57Speaker 1: getting to know them, and how they take care of us.
- 24:59Speaker 1: And you know, they did tell me they took really
- 25:03Speaker 1: good care of you too.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Well. Listen that Eddie and Eddie both of you is
- 25:07Speaker 4: all right. Listen, Like I said, I'm an open book.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I don't know if they told you this down smile Texas.
- 25:12Speaker 4: All right now I told you before I'm gonna win,
- 25:14Speaker 4: all right, So you got to put me under, all right?
- 25:17Speaker 1: Oh you went under?
- 25:18Speaker 2: Oh I went under. I went up. Oh dude, yeah yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 2: I'm a pussy bro.
- 25:23Speaker 4: So next day, so next thing, you know, now, Britt, Britt,
- 25:25Speaker 4: we went together, right, we went one time, and we
- 25:28Speaker 4: knew we had to come back in two weeks. So
- 25:29Speaker 4: the first time we come down, they do the grinding
- 25:32Speaker 4: and everything else. They make the molds. You know, Britt
- 25:34Speaker 4: stays awake all right, she can handle pain. It's amazing me.
- 25:38Speaker 1: And I'm okay.
- 25:40Speaker 2: They put me under. All right, we wake up. Brittany's
- 25:43Speaker 2: already up standing next to me. I get up, all right,
- 25:47Speaker 2: wake it up. This and that.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Lady says to me, I'm sorry, I spilled you know,
- 25:52Speaker 4: water all over you. Brittany said, no, no, no, tell
- 25:55Speaker 4: the truth.
- 25:56Speaker 2: All right. I pissed myself okay while I'm under. So
- 25:59Speaker 2: now we got to come back in two weeks.
- 26:02Speaker 4: So the lady says to me, you know, you do
- 26:04Speaker 4: you get like those male diapers, you know, you don't
- 26:06Speaker 4: even know.
- 26:08Speaker 2: So next time we fly back down to Houston, we're
- 26:10Speaker 2: driving there. We stopped at either wal Grade or CVS.
- 26:14Speaker 2: So I look at brit I said, Brittin, I'm not
- 26:17Speaker 2: going in, all right. She goes, I'm not going in.
- 26:19Speaker 2: I said, no, you need to go in at least
- 26:22Speaker 2: at least if you get them, all.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Right, like you're buying tampons, bro at least if you buy.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Them, they know they're not for you, all right. So
- 26:30Speaker 4: she goes inside. She comes back in the car. She
- 26:33Speaker 4: tossed them at me.
- 26:33Speaker 2: All right, she was really I thought it was gonna
- 26:36Speaker 2: be at least twenty five years before I had to
- 26:38Speaker 2: do this for you, all right. Anyway, I got him,
- 26:42Speaker 2: and this time I was under and I didn't even
- 26:44Speaker 2: pissed myself. It was a waste, right, better be sorry exactly.
- 26:52Speaker 2: So yeah, that's why. But they were still they were
- 26:54Speaker 2: They felt so bad for me. They won't to even
- 26:57Speaker 2: tell me the truth. Yeah right, got a smile.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Texts amazing. Yeah, I always recommend them. They just the
- 27:05Speaker 1: way they take care of you, the hospitality and everything
- 27:07Speaker 1: about Texas. I really enjoy it. But people were super,
- 27:11Speaker 1: super good to us.
- 27:12Speaker 2: So, yeah, for sure, for sure, I didn't know that Eddie,
- 27:15Speaker 2: I didn't know he learned something along the way.
- 27:20Speaker 1: So we talked about a little bit about you growing up.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Do you have siblings? I do?
- 27:27Speaker 2: I do I have a sister.
- 27:27Speaker 4: She's shoking at me, all right, she's a doctor, all right.
- 27:32Speaker 4: At my initially growing up, because I get into my
- 27:35Speaker 4: children as well. I wanted to be a vetinaryan, all right.
- 27:38Speaker 4: I wanted to be a vetnaariry and I always worked
- 27:40Speaker 4: for vetinary in high school. My dad pulled every string
- 27:44Speaker 4: he could and got me into Cornell, all right. At
- 27:47Speaker 4: that time was the number one veterinary school.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Yeah right, now.
- 27:49Speaker 4: My father, my father was a lawyer, all right, well respected,
- 27:53Speaker 4: and I got there the guys, when I tell you,
- 27:58Speaker 4: I fit in like a whore in church, okay, all right,
- 28:00Speaker 4: that's put it lightly right.
- 28:03Speaker 2: So I'm dad, I'm leaving. I gotta get out of here. No,
- 28:06Speaker 2: you got to state here in this way. I said,
- 28:08Speaker 2: I don't. I don't want to even be a veniry, naymore,
- 28:10Speaker 2: I don't want to be a lawyer. Oh my god,
- 28:12Speaker 2: don't be a lawyer. I'm a lawyer. That's not what
- 28:14Speaker 2: he used to be.
- 28:15Speaker 4: I ended up believe I ended up leaving, all right.
- 28:17Speaker 4: I went to the University of Delaware. My dad didn't
- 28:19Speaker 4: even talk to me. I didn't even see him for
- 28:21Speaker 4: like six months, all right. So anyway, is that Dad's
- 28:26Speaker 4: why I went there, ended up becoming a lawyer that way.
- 28:28Speaker 4: But my daughter basically finished what I couldn't do, and
- 28:33Speaker 4: he became a veterinarian.
- 28:34Speaker 3: That's very cool.
- 28:36Speaker 1: That's a great story. What does your son do?
- 28:39Speaker 2: My son? One thing? I have both my children, all right,
- 28:43Speaker 2: which to both work on pollocks.
- 28:45Speaker 4: My son, my son works up Park Avenue, New York,
- 28:49Speaker 4: all right, for a huge a huge investment in fact,
- 28:51Speaker 4: I think believe it's the second largest in the country.
- 28:55Speaker 4: It's it's a large investment firm of which he's there.
- 29:00Speaker 4: He's part of a very elite group there, and he's
- 29:03Speaker 4: he's doing great. Both and then knockout one guys. Both
- 29:06Speaker 4: my children, you know, both my children are doing fabulous.
- 29:10Speaker 4: So it goes to show you that divorce children do
- 29:13Speaker 4: not need to be offended by divorce.
- 29:16Speaker 3: I think, what do you think instilled that work ethic
- 29:19Speaker 3: in them to succeed on their own? Obviously you were,
- 29:21Speaker 3: you were already successful and you know a lot of
- 29:23Speaker 3: people that's one of the hard things. When you're successful
- 29:26Speaker 3: and you're bringing up your kids. A lot of times
- 29:29Speaker 3: they feel like they don't have to work for it
- 29:30Speaker 3: because they sort of get everything right. What do you
- 29:33Speaker 3: think you did to instill that mindset for both of them,
- 29:36Speaker 3: because again, both of those careers aren't easy to get.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly right. And there's three things with respect to that.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Number one, Dolores has always worked more than one job
- 29:45Speaker 4: since she was fourteen years old, but always worked, all right.
- 29:49Speaker 4: But education in her family was not a big thing,
- 29:52Speaker 4: all right. That was the decided to go to you know,
- 29:54Speaker 4: the college great if not, you know, not a big
- 29:56Speaker 4: deal all right. In my family, education was everything, all right.
- 30:00Speaker 4: So I think between on her side, all right, being
- 30:04Speaker 4: the work ethic, and on my side being the education
- 30:08Speaker 4: all right. And then also Dolorus and I at the
- 30:11Speaker 4: same point is my kids growing up pretty much did
- 30:14Speaker 4: not want for anything but for one second, all right,
- 30:17Speaker 4: if you act spoiled, if you ever act like when
- 30:19Speaker 4: we'll spoil children, we will take everything away from it.
- 30:22Speaker 4: We'll take everything away from you, all right. And Delorus
- 30:24Speaker 4: is more to displaying every than I am. All right,
- 30:26Speaker 4: not that I won't yell and scream like a normal Italian.
- 30:29Speaker 4: And five minutes I'm back to normal, all right. But
- 30:32Speaker 4: they're afraid of them, they're afraid of the laws. Delrius
- 30:34Speaker 4: is a badass. I'm not gonna lirie to you.
- 30:36Speaker 2: She's tough. She's tough, all right.
- 30:39Speaker 4: She after we met, she became a correction officer, all right,
- 30:44Speaker 4: in the jail into jail, transporting prisoners.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Wow.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Eight months, eight months into.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Her pregnancy for our daughter, I get a call from
- 30:51Speaker 4: her chief Frankie got to get her out of here.
- 30:54Speaker 4: He goes, I can't be responsible, all right, she's an animal,
- 30:58Speaker 4: all right.
- 31:00Speaker 2: But that was it. The Lauria stopped working at that point.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Wow, that's amazing.
- 31:08Speaker 2: We got some good story. Wait, we got some good stories.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Maybe one day, Bonzie, when when all maybe all four
- 31:14Speaker 4: of us will come on, the Laurus will tell you
- 31:16Speaker 4: some of the stories along the way. When when, oh yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 4: when I got caught cheating, Guys, everybody gets everybody gets accused, all.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Right, not me.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I want to hear her side.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Bro, you don't have to.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Say, because the Lorius, the Laurius can be more absolutely normal. Guys,
- 31:35Speaker 4: She'll kiss you hug you even if she suspects anything,
- 31:39Speaker 4: because she's building a case against you, right, And when
- 31:43Speaker 4: the Laurus confronted me, all right, back then, it was
- 31:45Speaker 4: the VHS tapes, right, she had she had me dead
- 31:49Speaker 4: to right here, debt to right there.
- 31:51Speaker 2: And you know, do it guys, listen, did she play
- 31:55Speaker 2: the video for you? No, not the video, she.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Played the videos because when she put the first video in,
- 32:03Speaker 4: and I, guys, I'm stunned, I'm like, funk, what do
- 32:05Speaker 4: I do now? I'm like that that's not me?
- 32:09Speaker 2: She was, Are you really gonna try this?
- 32:11Speaker 4: This is not you? I said, no, I mean it
- 32:13Speaker 4: looks like maybe that's not me. Sounds did you put
- 32:20Speaker 4: you in the next VHS? All right, that's not you again?
- 32:23Speaker 2: All right? Well that whoever it isn't you was driving
- 32:25Speaker 2: your fucking car, all right, dude.
- 32:28Speaker 4: So I remember she grew up in a family of
- 32:30Speaker 4: all cops, all right, so she knew she had me
- 32:34Speaker 4: dead to write. And I never suspected anything because I
- 32:37Speaker 4: would come home and she kissed me, hugged me while
- 32:39Speaker 4: she's investigating me.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Man, she should have been a lawyer. So did she
- 32:47Speaker 3: take those tapes to the court? You said it was
- 32:49Speaker 3: a messy divorce court. Did she show up with the tapes?
- 32:53Speaker 4: She would have in a second. But the thing about
- 32:55Speaker 4: New Jersey, I'm like California, all right, where what's called
- 32:58Speaker 4: an equital distributions. It's a no full no full divorce,
- 33:02Speaker 4: all right. So if you're getting divorced, it's fifty to fifty. Yeah, okay,
- 33:05Speaker 4: you no matter who's right, who's wrong, you name it,
- 33:08Speaker 4: all right, thank god?
- 33:10Speaker 2: All right? Or I would have to defend myself way
- 33:12Speaker 2: beyond that.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's funny.
- 33:17Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 33:18Speaker 1: So I wanted to ask you another question that I
- 33:22Speaker 1: really really enjoyed. I mean, Paulie and I were laughing
- 33:27Speaker 1: her ass off. But he when he was talking about
- 33:30Speaker 1: you and how amazing you guys are together, he mentioned
- 33:33Speaker 1: that you came up with a nickname for him.
- 33:35Speaker 2: And oh, buzz light Year, that's the light Year.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Come on, bro, guys, guys, tell me the truth when
- 33:41Speaker 4: you're when you guys are having a podcast, when you're.
- 33:43Speaker 2: At you're telling me. Once you mentioned it, he don't look.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Like yes, it made a lot of sense.
- 33:49Speaker 2: He's a good looking guy.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Man, he's a good looking guy. Listen, one thing, one thing,
- 33:53Speaker 4: paul He's got on me. All right, Well, you got
- 33:56Speaker 4: your teeth, I got teeth.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I do everything, all right, I got much first of all,
- 33:59Speaker 2: I got much more uch, bigger legs than he does too. Right,
- 34:02Speaker 2: But the one thing I can't, guys, I can be honest,
- 34:04Speaker 2: is that fucking hair his he's got hair. You got
- 34:08Speaker 2: a beautiful head of hair. Bround myself next week or something,
- 34:12Speaker 2: you know.
- 34:14Speaker 1: But now that makes sense now because he actually came
- 34:17Speaker 1: back and said, he calls you potato, mister potato head,
- 34:20Speaker 1: and mister h has no hair.
- 34:22Speaker 2: He's got no hair. Bro, You ever see you ever
- 34:24Speaker 2: see mister potato heads arms and legs?
- 34:29Speaker 3: Come on?
- 34:32Speaker 2: I was like, bro, come on, man, I give you
- 34:34Speaker 2: something better than that. But can I tell you something.
- 34:38Speaker 2: I think that that almost opened up.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Opening his eyes a little bit, right when he realized
- 34:46Speaker 4: honestly busting his balls, he started busting back in the sea,
- 34:50Speaker 4: you know. And you know so as much as as
- 34:53Speaker 4: much as it was a little bit serious both ways,
- 34:55Speaker 4: all right, it was joking, and I think it opened
- 34:58Speaker 4: up some avenues for me and him.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Well, I think anytime you can laugh about anything, you know,
- 35:03Speaker 1: just make light of things, even some serious things. You
- 35:06Speaker 1: just have to be able to laugh about them, because
- 35:09Speaker 1: life doesn't that be that serious. It really doesn't.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Since you and Delores are obviously great, great friends, did
- 35:22Speaker 3: you get to give approval on who she dated or
- 35:25Speaker 3: do you give a ship for guys that she dated?
- 35:26Speaker 3: Like why are you dating that loser? Why are you
- 35:28Speaker 3: dating this guy? Or did you stay out of the way.
- 35:30Speaker 1: It's a great question, Edwin.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Can I tell you something.
- 35:35Speaker 4: Listen, Delorius Delriss. She's very very strong will all right,
- 35:40Speaker 4: very strong will. All right.
- 35:42Speaker 2: So she was dating this one guy at one time,
- 35:44Speaker 2: all right, and I know they had to a fight
- 35:46Speaker 2: and he said something or another which was not nice.
- 35:48Speaker 2: All right, all right, So I call him, I call
- 35:51Speaker 2: him up, all right, I.
- 35:52Speaker 4: Said, this is me, right, you treat her respect. I
- 35:54Speaker 4: swear to God, I will suck you up. All right,
- 35:57Speaker 4: all right, I sure it.
- 35:58Speaker 5: I got to call out of my relationship. That's all
- 36:03Speaker 5: you had to say. No more last time I got approval,
- 36:06Speaker 5: last time I was asked. I didn't even get involved anymore.
- 36:09Speaker 5: If you need me, I'm here, all right.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I thought I was.
- 36:12Speaker 4: I thought I was doing a good thing. And I
- 36:14Speaker 4: got screaming, yelled at by her. And there are two
- 36:18Speaker 4: people I don't like being screamed and yelled at by dolorous.
- 36:21Speaker 1: And my daughter, all right, I bett, is your daughter
- 36:24Speaker 1: a lot like Dolores.
- 36:26Speaker 4: My daughter is a lot like Dolorous And I right, okay,
- 36:30Speaker 4: she when it comes to humans, she is so non sympathetic.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Okay, okay, come doing animal animals, guys. Is our house.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Our house is a free dolorous old houses, a free
- 36:43Speaker 2: for all.
- 36:44Speaker 4: But she's everything's about animals, and everything's about animals. But
- 36:48Speaker 4: at the same time, this my daughter, guys, you know
- 36:51Speaker 4: iticed I got a story for everything, all right. So
- 36:54Speaker 4: we just don't gyms, all right, We just dont big gems,
- 36:56Speaker 4: you know, the golden gyms, the powerhouse gyms. And we
- 36:59Speaker 4: had one real big gym, and in there we had
- 37:01Speaker 4: the mma training, right. So as soon as we opened
- 37:04Speaker 4: up and we had the hands of Gracie jiu jitsu
- 37:06Speaker 4: in there, now my daughter wants to get involved. So
- 37:09Speaker 4: she's there and next thing, you know, look, there's no
- 37:13Speaker 4: teenagers in the class. There's no females in the class,
- 37:16Speaker 4: all right. So she's sporn with grown ass men, all right,
- 37:19Speaker 4: disocated he elbow, dissipated her shoulder. You know, she don't
- 37:23Speaker 4: care my daughter is. She's tough, all right. So now
- 37:27Speaker 4: we start seeing her doing the jiu jitsu, all right,
- 37:29Speaker 4: I go and bring this guy in from Russia, all right,
- 37:32Speaker 4: to start down with the takedowns, all right.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Then we do it.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Then we do the way tie with the kicking. Now
- 37:36Speaker 4: we got a guy striking. So my daughter's a badass,
- 37:39Speaker 4: all right, he really is before, all right. So we're talking,
- 37:43Speaker 4: Me and Dolores are talking to her, and we say, listen, gab,
- 37:46Speaker 4: this is for more your protection. You don't ever go
- 37:49Speaker 4: out in sight a fight with somebody and use this,
- 37:52Speaker 4: all right. So as I'm explaining to her, Dolors is
- 37:55Speaker 4: there and say, you know, someone starts with your gab,
- 37:59Speaker 4: you you make sure that they know, all right, you
- 38:02Speaker 4: get them down you don't, and you'll tell them don't
- 38:04Speaker 4: screw with you again, all right.
- 38:05Speaker 2: And that's basically where I stopped. Right Then Dolores, you know,
- 38:08Speaker 2: jumps in and then you stomp on their head like
- 38:11Speaker 2: they're around fire. All right, right.
- 38:15Speaker 6: I was like, that goes to show you the difference
- 38:17Speaker 6: of personality the Laurus and I all right, yeah, And
- 38:21Speaker 6: it also it also goes over into the Housewives of
- 38:23Speaker 6: New Jersey don't push the lris, all right, but the
- 38:26Speaker 6: ones who know.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Her know not to get her beyond that point because
- 38:29Speaker 2: the laws.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Listen, guys, the hardest I haven't been many many fights
- 38:32Speaker 4: in my life, and the hardest I've ever been punched
- 38:34Speaker 4: is by the worse.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about the real Housewife experience since you
- 38:42Speaker 1: mentioned it. How was the experience going on the show? Like,
- 38:46Speaker 1: how did you guys find out? You guys were cast
- 38:49Speaker 1: or invited to be on the show.
- 38:52Speaker 4: And when the New Jersey initially started, all right, Delorus
- 38:56Speaker 4: is part of that initial group, okay, right, And even
- 39:00Speaker 4: we weren't married, as I said, we were very close.
- 39:03Speaker 4: She came to me and asked me, and she basically
- 39:07Speaker 4: said our kids were too young.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Okay, all right? That she passed on it, all right.
- 39:12Speaker 4: But for the first I think it was seven seasons,
- 39:15Speaker 4: Dolores was almost a friend of or she'd appear as
- 39:19Speaker 4: because she was friends with everybody on there, all right,
- 39:21Speaker 4: whether it be Teresa, whether it be Dina, you name it,
- 39:23Speaker 4: all right. And my kids, my kids were on little
- 39:25Speaker 4: by little, so they came back to her, I think
- 39:27Speaker 4: it was season seven or season eight, and then they
- 39:29Speaker 4: asked her again and she said yes. All right, she
- 39:32Speaker 4: said yes because our kids were now older. All right, guys,
- 39:36Speaker 4: how I got involved? I have absolutely no idea. She's
- 39:39Speaker 4: my ex wife at the time. She had a boyfriend
- 39:41Speaker 4: at the time, all right. And when I first came on,
- 39:45Speaker 4: you know, because I was building a house for her. Guys,
- 39:50Speaker 4: I got hit pretty hard social media. Right, Thank god,
- 39:53Speaker 4: they listen. I told my kids everything beforehand. My kids
- 39:55Speaker 4: knew everything about me. They've always known it, all right.
- 39:57Speaker 4: So now comes out that I'm arrested. Now comes out
- 39:59Speaker 4: that I'm You're gonna get this bored?
- 40:01Speaker 2: All right? You name it? Guys said everything everything.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I was like, wow, this isn't for me. Man,
- 40:07Speaker 4: get my ass kicked you, all right. I made the
- 40:10Speaker 4: mistake and what you guys understand of responding to people.
- 40:13Speaker 2: On social media. Okay, but you can never win.
- 40:16Speaker 4: All right, you can never win. So then, you know what,
- 40:20Speaker 4: I just started acting myself. I just started acting myself.
- 40:23Speaker 4: And then it turned. It turned dramatically, where, oh what
- 40:27Speaker 4: a nice guy Frank is?
- 40:29Speaker 2: Wow, this and that? Why doesn't Polly like him? All right?
- 40:31Speaker 2: You name it. So for the most part after that,
- 40:34Speaker 2: it's been ninety five percent, all right, good. It's been
- 40:38Speaker 2: ninety five percent good. And guys, let me tell you,
- 40:42Speaker 2: you know, you do cameo cameo.
- 40:44Speaker 4: I've done over five thousand cameos because I enjoy it,
- 40:50Speaker 4: all right, I enjoy it. Some people call me who
- 40:53Speaker 4: tell me, oh, my friend so who her mom passed? Guys,
- 40:56Speaker 4: And I'm true, I'm true. I'm doing a cameo for somebody.
- 40:59Speaker 4: I start crying. I start crying.
- 41:00Speaker 2: They almost like, oh, man, so, and it's me. It's
- 41:03Speaker 2: really what you see is what you get. So for
- 41:07Speaker 2: the most part, I gotta be honest. There's nothing.
- 41:11Speaker 4: I love with the consequences that have come from the
- 41:14Speaker 4: Real Housewives, all right, And we found out no matter
- 41:17Speaker 4: where you go anywhere in the world. You know, we
- 41:21Speaker 4: went down to the Bahamas down down there, and guys,
- 41:24Speaker 4: you could have walked fifty feet without being approached and
- 41:26Speaker 4: everything else. And Brittany's great that way because it's normally
- 41:30Speaker 4: very very respectful. Yeah, so, you know, I try to
- 41:32Speaker 4: keep it nice every morning still to this point. And
- 41:36Speaker 4: then britt has total access to my phone. I get DMS,
- 41:39Speaker 4: I get videos where like, guys, you know, you gotta
- 41:41Speaker 4: like turn the phone like like, what the hell is this.
- 41:45Speaker 1: And then I realized, you know, is Brittany on the show.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Brittany's been on the show many of times, all right,
- 41:53Speaker 4: but Brittany, Brittany is just a good, happy person, all right,
- 41:58Speaker 4: and you know, just a nice person. So they've asked
- 42:02Speaker 4: her to come on more and more, all right. Well,
- 42:05Speaker 4: I basically limit her on the show coming to good
- 42:07Speaker 4: events where I know there's gonna be a free for
- 42:09Speaker 4: all breakdown, right because she's she's doesn't have a thin
- 42:15Speaker 4: skin anymore. And then one good thing about it, which
- 42:17Speaker 4: is a great storyline, is the ex wife protecting a
- 42:21Speaker 4: new wife.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she sticks up for her, right, she sticks
- 42:25Speaker 2: up for her. But anybody on the show she got
- 42:27Speaker 2: break kids alone, basically everybody on the show, all right.
- 42:30Speaker 4: And our experience, our experience on the show, and a
- 42:32Speaker 4: lot of it has to do with the guys on
- 42:34Speaker 4: our show. I think it takes a step further than
- 42:37Speaker 4: all of the other franchises.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Guys.
- 42:42Speaker 4: We we always even if our wives had problems or
- 42:45Speaker 4: ex wives or whatever, it normally would not allow that
- 42:48Speaker 4: to get in the way of us.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Okay, and that's a normal thing. That's what a normal
- 42:53Speaker 1: guy does experience. I have experience on our show, exactly
- 43:00Speaker 1: what you're getting at. My friendship with David and David
- 43:05Speaker 1: and I were probably one of the only ones that
- 43:07Speaker 1: got along on the show the many years that have
- 43:10Speaker 1: been on. Now you know, I've grown to like Terry.
- 43:13Speaker 1: He's he's actually a really cool, down earth stateforward guy.
- 43:17Speaker 1: And then Shane of course again straight shooters. It goes
- 43:20Speaker 1: back to being authentic and real, just being themselves. That's
- 43:24Speaker 1: that's all you need to avoid or kind of skate
- 43:28Speaker 1: through all the stupidity of the show where people say, Hey,
- 43:32Speaker 1: your hair's not long enough, your eyes aren't blue enough,
- 43:35Speaker 1: you're you know, your smile is not big enough. You're
- 43:37Speaker 1: never gonna make everybody happy. But the relationships you guys
- 43:41Speaker 1: have in Jersey, I've always talked about that, always said,
- 43:44Speaker 1: you guys, there's a dynamic there where you have a history.
- 43:49Speaker 1: You guys really know each other, and that's why you're
- 43:52Speaker 1: having so much fucking fun.
- 43:56Speaker 4: You know, I enjoy I get the cool anytime I
- 43:59Speaker 4: have the guys night where if the guys are going
- 44:00Speaker 4: to be involved, they would say, you know, I get
- 44:04Speaker 4: to call from Dolores, Brittany will call me it. Do
- 44:07Speaker 4: not like Joe, do not like Joe and next thing,
- 44:10Speaker 4: you know, it's as carrying me out. Here's Joe's the
- 44:12Speaker 4: littlest one on the show. And Joe he could just
- 44:14Speaker 4: drink and drink and drink.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I don't know. Oh my god. I was Joe's lawyer.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I've known Joe probably close to thirty five years.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I used to be his lawyer.
- 44:24Speaker 4: And you know, now we have a comedy show together
- 44:27Speaker 4: the guys, which I never planned on whatsoever?
- 44:30Speaker 1: You got to tell us about that? Because I know
- 44:32Speaker 1: you guys did a skid at the Bravo Khan two
- 44:34Speaker 1: years ago and you your shirts off.
- 44:37Speaker 4: And here's how he says, well, let me remember Bravo
- 44:42Speaker 4: Bravo Khan when it was in New York. All right,
- 44:44Speaker 4: So Joe is he's a comedian, and I gotta be
- 44:47Speaker 4: honest with me. Bro he's kind of funny. He's kind
- 44:49Speaker 4: of funny.
- 44:50Speaker 2: He is funny.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:51Speaker 2: So anyway, listen, I.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Know the guy choosing me, and I tell him. I
- 44:55Speaker 4: tell him all the time. So now he's appearing at Carolines.
- 44:57Speaker 4: He's got two shows at Carolines, which every comedian wants
- 45:00Speaker 4: to get to. I was like, how the hell did
- 45:02Speaker 4: he get the Caroline. I wake up and I wake
- 45:06Speaker 4: up in the morning and I'm I'm going through Instagram
- 45:08Speaker 4: laying in bed, and you know, every day you see
- 45:11Speaker 4: Joe Gorga's Instagram all right, where normally he's got a
- 45:15Speaker 4: shirt off, all right, and he gives you your your
- 45:18Speaker 4: life advice.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Okay, you know the usual.
- 45:21Speaker 3: You know, do keep you does that too once. I
- 45:26Speaker 3: need to learn. I need to take the shirt off
- 45:28Speaker 3: more often.
- 45:28Speaker 2: That's what Joe's always got the shirt off.
- 45:31Speaker 3: That's what I'm missing. I needed. I need to take
- 45:32Speaker 3: off the shirt off all the time.
- 45:34Speaker 4: Bro. Listen, Joe Gorgan takes off the shirt so it
- 45:37Speaker 4: takes your attention off of his height, right, So now
- 45:43Speaker 4: I see his thing, Joe.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Gorga appearing at Carolines.
- 45:45Speaker 4: All right, Bravo kan blah blah blah, all right, the
- 45:48Speaker 4: guy's true story, all right. Then I see featuring Frank
- 45:51Speaker 4: Contana that I called you, Joe, Hey man, what's going on?
- 45:57Speaker 4: I said, I said you yeah, oh yeah, you're gonna
- 46:01Speaker 4: come out. You're gonna introduce me beat You're like five
- 46:03Speaker 4: ten minutes introduce me? I said, Bro, you think you
- 46:07Speaker 4: should have asked me? Am I getting paid? Am I
- 46:09Speaker 4: doing anything, So, guys, I gotta be honest. That's probably
- 46:12Speaker 4: about that's probably about thirty shows ago. We've been to
- 46:15Speaker 4: three countries. I can't even tell you how many different cities.
- 46:18Speaker 4: So now my I come out before him and go
- 46:21Speaker 4: on from maybe like fifteen to twenty minutes, right, and
- 46:23Speaker 4: Joe comes out, And I never planned on it.
- 46:25Speaker 2: I gotta be honest.
- 46:26Speaker 4: I never planned being a comedian. I was scarce shit
- 46:29Speaker 4: of it, all right, but that's how I started. We
- 46:33Speaker 4: just had one not too long ago, and they're not big.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Listen. We we had some in Atlantic City where we
- 46:38Speaker 2: had like twelve thirteen hundred people. Most of our venues
- 46:40Speaker 2: are anywhere from maybe one fifty to two fifty. But
- 46:44Speaker 2: it's nice. It's nice, usually sell out and it's a
- 46:48Speaker 2: housewife crowd.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Do you think he'll uh, you'll ever he'll ever open
- 46:52Speaker 3: for you?
- 46:53Speaker 2: Yeah? Never bow yeah, Joe listen.
- 46:58Speaker 4: And I let him do that because obviously, you know,
- 47:01Speaker 4: God God shorted him when I came to his height,
- 47:03Speaker 4: so I feel bad for him.
- 47:04Speaker 2: All right. So we're saying at and you'll be honest.
- 47:08Speaker 4: I want part of my part of my skin. I
- 47:09Speaker 4: come out there, I said, listen, guys, you think you
- 47:12Speaker 4: feel bad about your life. I said, let me just
- 47:14Speaker 4: tell you something, all right. I'm driving here tonight, all right,
- 47:17Speaker 4: And I used to dress up. I used that these
- 47:19Speaker 4: tailor made suits and I looked pretty good man. I
- 47:21Speaker 4: was jack backdad everything. I'm in front of a judge,
- 47:24Speaker 4: I was a pretty damn good attorney, and I was
- 47:26Speaker 4: Joe Gorga's attorney. All right, I said, since then, I
- 47:29Speaker 4: fucking got this bored, and now I'm the opening act
- 47:31Speaker 4: for Joe Gorgon.
- 47:32Speaker 2: You think your life is bad?
- 47:33Speaker 3: I said, mind, I have a question for you, Frank.
- 47:39Speaker 3: But I wanted before I forget, you mentioned Brittany has
- 47:43Speaker 3: access to your phone and access to your DM's access
- 47:46Speaker 3: to all that good stuff. Was that your idea or
- 47:48Speaker 3: her idea?
- 47:49Speaker 4: Dude?
- 47:49Speaker 2: Can I tell you something?
- 47:50Speaker 4: It was my idea because when we go out and
- 47:54Speaker 4: I'm always getting you know, the people coming up, And
- 47:57Speaker 4: that's the one good thing about the Housewives. My buddy,
- 48:00Speaker 4: my buddy who moved away, who's still one of my
- 48:02Speaker 4: best friends, came to Jersey walking down the boardwalk and
- 48:05Speaker 4: he said to me, one day, he goes bro first,
- 48:06Speaker 4: I hate the fact that people recognize you, all right,
- 48:08Speaker 4: because he grew up on me, all right, but he
- 48:10Speaker 4: goes after you take a picture with him, they walk
- 48:13Speaker 4: away and they're smiling.
- 48:14Speaker 2: It's any unit you guys, deal.
- 48:17Speaker 4: It's it's like a big thing for them to meet you,
- 48:20Speaker 4: all right, but it's just as big for me and
- 48:22Speaker 4: to see that you make them happy like that, all right.
- 48:25Speaker 4: So but then you get a little bit beyond where
- 48:28Speaker 4: you get women who had something to drink. If you
- 48:29Speaker 4: get a group of women, you know, and they get
- 48:32Speaker 4: very touchy feely in your name it all right? So
- 48:35Speaker 4: what happened is you know at that point, guys, I
- 48:37Speaker 4: wanted her to make sure she felt comfortable.
- 48:39Speaker 2: So be honest.
- 48:41Speaker 4: Britt has access to everything through my phone, all right,
- 48:43Speaker 4: but she never goes guys, as far as I know,
- 48:46Speaker 4: probably when I'm sleeping, she goes through everything, all right.
- 48:48Speaker 2: But yeah, she just walked in the house. She just
- 48:49Speaker 2: walked in from shopping. Was it?
- 48:52Speaker 3: Would you say? It's a form of uh what was it?
- 48:55Speaker 3: A form of accountability for you as well? And then
- 48:58Speaker 3: the show help with accountability?
- 48:59Speaker 2: Is well?
- 49:01Speaker 3: I know, like for me that was a huge like
- 49:04Speaker 3: it helped me a ton. When we came out on
- 49:06Speaker 3: the show, it was like oh shit, Like, now you
- 49:09Speaker 3: the most random person will know who you are and
- 49:14Speaker 3: is someone going to try to blackmail you for some stuff?
- 49:16Speaker 2: Right?
- 49:17Speaker 4: Always if in fact I know something, if whoever they're
- 49:20Speaker 4: blackmailing you with already knows.
- 49:21Speaker 1: About it, Yeah, well I got I got my wife
- 49:26Speaker 1: got a private DM on social media saying hey, I
- 49:29Speaker 1: saw Eddie at the beach having lunch with a friend.
- 49:32Speaker 1: And that's when the light went off. I'm like, oh shit,
- 49:34Speaker 1: there goes my privacy. I mean you not that I
- 49:36Speaker 1: have anything to hide, but I can't do anything now.
- 49:39Speaker 4: No, It's crazy, isn't it. It's crazy, you know, and listen,
- 49:44Speaker 4: it's I don't care how cool you got cool partners,
- 49:47Speaker 4: and you know it's nice and I consider myself to
- 49:49Speaker 4: have one as well, you know. But at the same time,
- 49:51Speaker 4: when you got people just I don't understand why people
- 49:55Speaker 4: do it, all right, I guys, let me ask you
- 49:57Speaker 4: guys a question. If you look at an Instagram, remember
- 49:59Speaker 4: you look Instagram. If you see a post and you
- 50:02Speaker 4: don't like that post, all right, do you even nasty comment?
- 50:05Speaker 2: I just keep scrolling.
- 50:06Speaker 1: He just sort of on, Yeah, why why do people.
- 50:10Speaker 4: Find it necessary? And then usually it's somebody who's got
- 50:13Speaker 4: no pictures has like four followers, okay, exactly, which I can't.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I hate the keyboard Warriors. I hate the keyboard Warriors.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it also at this stage in this
- 50:29Speaker 1: world of social media and reality TV, I think there's
- 50:33Speaker 1: a kind of a conspiracy going on out there with
- 50:36Speaker 1: certain cast members that are putting stupid shit stories out there.
- 50:39Speaker 1: And that's what those take accounts are for, right, Combine
- 50:43Speaker 1: that with the bots, and then they just hire a
- 50:45Speaker 1: bot to keep repeating you know, stupid posts. It's just dumb.
- 50:50Speaker 1: But I mean I know that that's part of the
- 50:53Speaker 1: or maybe the biggest reason Jersey was shut down because
- 50:56Speaker 1: of what happened with you know, the bloggers and the
- 50:58Speaker 1: stupidity of what happened over there. But on that note,
- 51:03Speaker 1: let me ask you if if Jersey was to be
- 51:05Speaker 1: asked back and Brittany was asked to be a housewife,
- 51:08Speaker 1: would you sign on for that or what would you do?
- 51:14Speaker 2: Get? Truthfully, guys, I think that is entirely her choice.
- 51:18Speaker 4: That's a great answer, babe, They ask you, what would
- 51:20Speaker 4: you say, She's like, I don't know, I don't know. Yeah,
- 51:27Speaker 4: Like she just said, she goes I think I'm too nice,
- 51:29Speaker 4: all right, which I got to be honest with.
- 51:31Speaker 2: You, so do I right. And our relationship, guys, our
- 51:34Speaker 2: relationship is close to perfect as it comes. It really does.
- 51:37Speaker 2: We don't ever fight. We have a big age discrepancy,
- 51:39Speaker 2: which nobody's ever made an issue of.
- 51:42Speaker 4: I laugh more heart than I've ever laughed with any
- 51:44Speaker 4: of the corner ever in my life. They have more
- 51:46Speaker 4: in common, all right, and in less drama than anything.
- 51:50Speaker 4: And worried she's worried morey about it if we go
- 51:52Speaker 4: on the show, because there's been great relationships. Was gone
- 51:56Speaker 4: to ship when you go in the show, So I
- 51:58Speaker 4: don't have to tell you guys that deal.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you know my experience has been, you know,
- 52:04Speaker 1: putting us in a room with four or five other
- 52:08Speaker 1: people that we have never met in our life and
- 52:10Speaker 1: say do a show. And that's why I go back
- 52:13Speaker 1: to the Jersey thing, Like you guys don't knew each
- 52:15Speaker 1: other before, and you have some history, and you guys
- 52:18Speaker 1: can actually talk about stuff, and you know, having that
- 52:22Speaker 1: mentality of getting over it because it's just the show.
- 52:26Speaker 1: You know, it's it's easier.
- 52:30Speaker 3: What's the age difference between you and Brittany By the
- 52:32Speaker 3: way twenty five years. Twenty five years. Okay, twenty five Bro,
- 52:36Speaker 3: I just.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Turned sixty one, Bro, sixty one.
- 52:39Speaker 3: There's no way you're seventy one years old.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I believe you. Fortunately, Yes, for you, Thank you, man.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Wow, I'm blown away. I had no idea you were
- 52:47Speaker 3: sixty one, Bro. If you saw me in the morning,
- 52:50Speaker 3: only fifty is worst case.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Thank you, bro. Honestly, I knew I liked you. Bro.
- 52:55Speaker 2: I believe me.
- 52:56Speaker 4: If you saw me getting out of bed in the morning,
- 52:58Speaker 4: I say, ship that motherfucker's sixty one years vault.
- 53:01Speaker 3: All right, Yeah, speaking of that was your How your
- 53:05Speaker 3: daughter and son take it that you married someone so young?
- 53:07Speaker 3: Were they like, dad, what are you doing?
- 53:10Speaker 2: Let's go to my son. My son is the most
- 53:13Speaker 2: non confrontational person. Do whatever me. Okay.
- 53:17Speaker 4: Remember they both knew Brittany beforehand, all right. And my
- 53:21Speaker 4: son was fine, all right. My daughter, I got to
- 53:22Speaker 4: be honest with my daughter had a little bit of issue.
- 53:24Speaker 2: All right.
- 53:25Speaker 4: They would have had a little bit, because guys, they're
- 53:27Speaker 4: basically five years apart.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Oh yes, and I was gone and my daughter has a.
- 53:33Speaker 4: Very very strong personality. But now, guys, I be honest.
- 53:37Speaker 4: The two of them are like best friends. They joke around,
- 53:40Speaker 4: they laugh. You know when I tell you, guys, I
- 53:44Speaker 4: knock on wood. Probably have between the X between my
- 53:48Speaker 4: beautiful wife, now between my kids, I probably have the
- 53:50Speaker 4: closest thing to a perfect life. Well, and it's good,
- 53:54Speaker 4: you know my daughter. And my daughter is funny and
- 53:56Speaker 4: now she busts our chops right like people around. Hey,
- 53:59Speaker 4: I want to introduce you. Step off right, Brittany.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I love those dynamics, brother, I really do admire that,
- 54:07Speaker 1: you know, And I can sense and see the beauty
- 54:10Speaker 1: of it and and the harmony, and I can tell
- 54:13Speaker 1: why you're so happy and just having a great life.
- 54:15Speaker 1: You have such good people around you. Man.
- 54:17Speaker 2: That's it makes all the difference, guys, doesn't it.
- 54:20Speaker 4: Man?
- 54:21Speaker 2: Listen, I think God can call my number tomorrow. You
- 54:24Speaker 2: know I'm not. I'm not gonna be one of those
- 54:26Speaker 2: people that it could have should have.
- 54:27Speaker 3: Man. I did it.
- 54:28Speaker 2: I did it. I did good, bad, and different, you
- 54:31Speaker 2: name it so and I live it.
- 54:33Speaker 3: I live it, bro, I love it. Frank. Your energy
- 54:45Speaker 3: is contagious. Man, You're full of energy, full of enthusiasm. Man,
- 54:51Speaker 3: I can see why you landed such a young girl. Man,
- 54:55Speaker 3: I can see it.
- 54:56Speaker 2: She keeps me honestly, she keeps me young.
- 54:59Speaker 4: And the thing is, she places these freaking tiktoks on
- 55:02Speaker 4: me all right, like well, I'll be eating and.
- 55:04Speaker 2: She scares the ship out of me. What don't stuck
- 55:08Speaker 2: next to you and her?
- 55:10Speaker 4: You see her in a TikTok laughing, and then you
- 55:12Speaker 4: have comments, Oh my god, he needs anger management.
- 55:15Speaker 3: Oh my god, he must be her all right, going.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Going down to day. She keeps me up. I gotta
- 55:22Speaker 2: be honest, keeps me young. Guys, when I tell you,
- 55:24Speaker 2: we laugh all the time, all right.
- 55:27Speaker 4: I can't remember the last time either one of us
- 55:28Speaker 4: raised our voice of bad or yeah, you know cool
- 55:32Speaker 4: it is, man, it.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Is, and they do. I know we didn't touch on this,
- 55:35Speaker 1: but it just hit me. Does she have kids or
- 55:38Speaker 1: do you guys plan on having kids?
- 55:39Speaker 2: She doesn't. That's that's that's the one sort of subject
- 55:42Speaker 2: a little bit there.
- 55:43Speaker 4: So now we we we talked about that in depth
- 55:48Speaker 4: many and many of times, many times. You know, we
- 55:50Speaker 4: have we have our two rescue dogs. Basically they can't
- 55:55Speaker 4: they can't even sleep in the bed with us anymore
- 55:56Speaker 4: because my Moe's snores so.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Loud like man of animals too, but I can't live
- 56:01Speaker 1: with them right exactly.
- 56:02Speaker 2: Oh, I saw my bro, you got you got a
- 56:05Speaker 2: pity pity rescue.
- 56:07Speaker 1: He's right here, right here, you know. Yeah, he's just
- 56:14Speaker 1: the biggest love bug.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Oh my god, I see a Rams fan, bro, all right,
- 56:19Speaker 2: big time?
- 56:20Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:20Speaker 2: Who's your What happened to Cooper Cup? Come on, man?
- 56:22Speaker 3: Why did you get the man? I know that that
- 56:24Speaker 3: one hurt. He was one of my favorites.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Yeah, that one was one of my favorites. So for sure,
- 56:30Speaker 2: are you a Rams fan? I listen, I'm I'm an
- 56:34Speaker 2: everybody fan, honestly.
- 56:36Speaker 3: I like.
- 56:37Speaker 2: I like rooting for teams with some good people on it,
- 56:39Speaker 2: all right, And.
- 56:41Speaker 4: If I see something good, you know that that somebody
- 56:43Speaker 4: did something nice with a fan or something like that
- 56:45Speaker 4: for them that week. You know. I was always a
- 56:48Speaker 4: Tom Brady fan and followed him. You know, we watch
- 56:50Speaker 4: his games, whether be in New England down to Tampa.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Then when he left, uh Britain Bridge A huge, huge
- 56:57Speaker 4: Dallas fan.
- 56:58Speaker 3: All right, cool? All right, Well, whenever you want to
- 57:00Speaker 3: come down to a Rams game, you would love to.
- 57:02Speaker 3: I have a ton of tickets. We have tickets, Yeah,
- 57:05Speaker 3: we have nine season tickets.
- 57:07Speaker 2: Here man in the house.
- 57:09Speaker 3: They're literally the best seats in the now. Yeah, no,
- 57:14Speaker 3: hit us up, like whenever you want, any game will
- 57:16Speaker 3: have fun. I love your energy, man, I would love
- 57:17Speaker 3: to hang dude, I do man.
- 57:19Speaker 1: So last question, you guys go into Brava kan this year.
- 57:25Speaker 4: I listen, there's only four people from Jersey, all right
- 57:28Speaker 4: and their spouses who are going. All right, from what
- 57:31Speaker 4: I understand, you know, it's I think it's only Dolores, Melissa,
- 57:35Speaker 4: Margaret and Teresa. I don't know if that's an insight
- 57:40Speaker 4: into the future or not. All right, so they basically,
- 57:43Speaker 4: you know, I didn't expect it to be invited this year,
- 57:47Speaker 4: but guys, I get down.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I love Yeah, it was funny.
- 57:51Speaker 2: I got I know you guys, but I.
- 57:52Speaker 4: Get hollered at all the time my production because when
- 57:55Speaker 4: we walk out the building and like all the people
- 57:57Speaker 4: are behind the barricades, did you know I got to
- 58:00Speaker 4: go and take a picture, and everybody wants They're.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Like, oh, Frank, Frank, let's go Frank. I was like, no, man,
- 58:05Speaker 2: these people waiting here for an hour? Yes, you're serious,
- 58:08Speaker 2: Well you guys can wait fifteen twenty minutes. You come on. Well,
- 58:12Speaker 2: I love you know vis Oh my god, she goes
- 58:15Speaker 2: yes you you just said, yes, I do, I don't.
- 58:18Speaker 2: I love it. You know, first of all, this this
- 58:20Speaker 2: coul this could all be gone tomorrow.
- 58:22Speaker 4: You all know that, all right, Yeah, But at the
- 58:24Speaker 4: same time, while it's here due it needs so much
- 58:27Speaker 4: to these people and say.
- 58:29Speaker 1: That's exactly why we do it. You know, it's not
- 58:32Speaker 1: because it makes us feel it feels our ego or
- 58:34Speaker 1: anything like that. It feels our feeling to help other
- 58:38Speaker 1: people feel happy. If it makes them feel happy and
- 58:41Speaker 1: they just want a simple picture. It's not hard, right,
- 58:45Speaker 1: It's not that hard.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Not that hard.
- 58:47Speaker 2: It takes more energy. It takes more energy to be mean, yes, okay, right,
- 58:53Speaker 2: I'm sing. There was a There was a beef between
- 58:55Speaker 2: Ramona from New York and Dolores. Okay, all right, I
- 58:59Speaker 2: get that.
- 58:59Speaker 4: So to watch what Happens Live, okay, and Ramona they
- 59:03Speaker 4: did some kind of dating games. So Ramona didn't know
- 59:05Speaker 4: who the three guys were, and I was one of them,
- 59:07Speaker 4: all right, so she didn't pick me, thank god. Right,
- 59:11Speaker 4: But anyway, afterwards, you know, you know, I basically we're
- 59:14Speaker 4: all leaving and Ramona is not taking pictures with anybody.
- 59:17Speaker 2: I didn't know that.
- 59:18Speaker 4: I told him looking to take a picture, all right.
- 59:21Speaker 4: Next thing, you know, she's like hendon hoard all right.
- 59:25Speaker 4: So after that somebody must have said something to her,
- 59:27Speaker 4: well that's frank, you know, that's.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Dolorus's ex husband. So then she goes you know, they no,
- 59:32Speaker 2: come on back, we take a picture, right, So.
- 59:34Speaker 4: Now I'm going back to I'm going back to take
- 59:36Speaker 4: a picture. And in the background you hear the loorus.
- 59:39Speaker 4: Get the fuck away from her, don't you dare?
- 59:42Speaker 2: All right? I was like, oh sorry, but that that's
- 59:48Speaker 2: the point I'm being is man, I don't care who
- 59:50Speaker 2: it is.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Guys, I've always been talve. You treat you the same
- 59:53Speaker 4: as you treat the janitor. Right then you're going back
- 59:58Speaker 4: down that ladder. And I've gone down that ladder man
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: of times seeing people. Are you shore going up?
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Hmm, I agree, one hundred percent for sure.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: I listen, guys, I do across my back. I got tattooed,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: and I'm not even kidding.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: I used to be a big Nickelback fan, all right,
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: and that every day, every day is a gift, not
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: a given right.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: And that's not a cliche. I live by that. Wake
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: up in the morning. I said, I'm grumpy.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: Man. There sometimes I'm grumpy and Britt just pulls me
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: out of it. And you really, guys, you when you
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: said I enjoyed life.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I'm just glad you didn't see you had a picture
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: of his face tattooed to your back.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Hold out, hold out, bro, there's got to be now
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: that that goes to a story again.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: We're going We're going to the NBC building in the
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: New York all right, So we had some kind of event.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: I forgot what it was. In fact, Britt was with me.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: And so now when you go there, you got to
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: go to security first and they give you a tag. Right.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: But while I'm standing there, I look next to me,
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's Chad all right, the lead singer
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: from the Now I look at him. Everybody coming over
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: by me and taking pictures with me. So I see
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: him looking, say who's this guy right now? I'm seeing him,
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: and I'm like starstruck.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Coming yeah, I'm like stuttering. I'm like, hey, hey man,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: I'm a huge fan. Bro.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: I said, I even got you on my back. I said, no, no, no,
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I got one of your verses on my
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: back one of your songs. He's like, okay, thanks, so yeah,
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: but I did have a picture of him on my back.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: That's too, buddy, That's very cool. Oh sure.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Anyways, you know, it's been great, Frank. I know we
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: can go on for hours and hours.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: But that was one of my favorite interviews.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I love to hear I love you. It's been
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: a lot of fun. I'm finally connected and hopefully we
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: get to see each other soon.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Guys, I would love to. I would love to. You know,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: for sure, any you're still doing that would say you're
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: still doing your motocross.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I am, I am. You know I'm still doing the
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Harley thing too. I I gotta I had an idea
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: that I wanted to pass by you, because that's why
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I asked you about Bravo Con. But we'll talk offline.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: It's a Harley Davidson deal that I really I got
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: to put together if you guys are interested in doing it.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: But absolutely, And I can tell you something. Some of
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: the best time Brittany and I spend. You know, I
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: have a full dresser now and she loves just sitting
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: on a back and relaxing. I'le go out for a
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: ride some of the best quality time that we spend.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Do you have a ride with Joe uh with Joe Banango?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Yes, In fact, Brittany and I went with Margaret and
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: Joe and it was a beautiful sunday here. We went
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: up into upstate New York, stopped for a bite, t
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: eat and everything else there.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, non living.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: I mean, I'm close with pretty much everybody on the
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: show except for maybe one person, all right. But other
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: than that, you know, Joe and Joe, Joe Gorga, I'm
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: very good friends with. He lives right down the block
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: for me up north. He lives right right down the
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: block for me down at the Jersey Shore. And but
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: Joe Banango were close, honestly, and me and Joe were
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: also very close.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: And he loves the Yeah.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: No, I I love Joe Binninga and they're great people.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Is anybody else fried over there? Do you know on
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: the show?
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: I know, listen, I know, I know the doc doesn't
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: all right, I know Doctor Aiden, all right, Jennifer's husband
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: doesn't all right.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: I'm trying to think you know, Nate Daniel's husband, I
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: know he doesn't either.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: And Joe, Joe Gorga doesn't either, right, stop broke.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: He can't reach the ground. He can't reach the ground.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Get him a little bike.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I get it. I got him like one
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: of those eighty eighty c C.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Hondas well, right, they got They have strikes too. You know,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: you don't have to put your feet down on listen.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: The thing with Joe Gorga, is this all right? If
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: you want Joe Gorgan to do anything a right, you
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: don't call Joe. You might as well just call Melissa directly.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: Yes, yes, he's not allowed to do anything unless he stays.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: Okay, all right, And we all know that, we all
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: know that's right.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: But the best is there because because Joe, Joe always
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: thinks he's like, yeah, he's the man, he's Tarzan.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: You know, yeah, yeah, towards any aloud out of the
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: house without saying.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Okay, let him think he does you know, you know
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: it for sure.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: I love Hey guys. I had a great time, man,
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: I had a great time.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Frank, and uh definitely hopeful to
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: see you soon.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Hey guys, it's been a pleasure.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Manwise, likewise, brother, you can't care yourself, Frank. That was fun.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: That was a lot of fun. Oh man, great interview.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: He is so much fun.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, he was great. I think he might
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: be my favorite interview of all time.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He has so much energy. And that's
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: part think part of the reason why I don't think
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: he's sixty or sixty one however old. He can't be
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: in his sixties. He's awesome. But you know, he does
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: work out, so that has a lot.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Of help with so put you in a good mood. Man. Yeah.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Yeah, So let me ask you this, you know, because
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: while we're having this conversation, I can't I couldn't help
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: but think about what you're going through obviously in your divorce,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: and how what you can take away, if anything, from
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: the the dynamics and you know, of what we just
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: learned about him. Do you think you can do like
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: things like they did.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: Well, it's very interesting because as he was saying it,
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: I'm like, this is a lot like Teddy and I
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: right now, we're just you know, we're great friends, and
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: you know, I want to make sure she's she's taken
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: care of, and you know, but it's we we've maintained
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: that great relationship. So even though we're separated and we're
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: strange and you know, we're you know, still planning on divorcing,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: like we're still like friends, yeah, you know, and I
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: still see her as a friend, Like this is probably
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: the best we got along that we've gone along in
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: a while. We always got along, but we're like really
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: getting along really well.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm really hoping that that is true for
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you guys, that you guys can just maintain that friendship
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: and able to amicallee you know, go your separate ways,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: but still maintain that relationship for the sake of the kids.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: And well, it's interesting. I think he mentioned something about
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: like the kids not even knowing when they were separated,
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: and I kind of feel like, you know that we're
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: you know, we we when when we stay at the house,
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: even before she got sick, it was just like the
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: kids never left and they're not really seeing anything different,
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Like we're not fighting. It's great energy in the house.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: So you know, it's very it's it's it's interesting you
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: asked that question because as he was talking, I'm like, Wow,
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: this is a lot like what I'm going through.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: So can you see yourself ever having like Christmas dinner
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: with your girlfriend or wife and then her.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: Yeaheah. I mean we've so you know, I have a daughter,
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: my oldest daughter, right, yeah, and we've hung out with
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: her mom, her step who's a great, great man. I mean,
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: I couldn't have picked a better step dad. And yeah,
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: I mean we've we've hung out for Mother's Day. So
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: I'm all about that. Yeah, you know, it's all about Yeah,
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: I'm all about leading with love and all that. So yeah,
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: to totally see that vacations together.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: They can't wrap my head around it, but it sounds
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: so ideal, like I could.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Totally do that right now, you know if obviously you
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: have to respect your significant other, right and sometimes you
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: know that's not something that you do right away, you know.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: With with Bella's mom, I mean I think that took
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: thirteen years to happen. Yeah, that took a while. That
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: wasn't just like you know, but that took thirteen years.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: But then it happened. But you were younger too, lot, Yeah,
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: we were younger. Yeah, I was younger and all that,
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: But I mean I could have done it at you know,
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: you're two. You know, like I've just always been very
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: cool that way. But again, you have to you have
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: to respect your significant other and just you can't push it.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: It's just got to be when the time is right,
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: it's right. And but yeah, I mean ideally it's great
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: for the children and if you know, and I think
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: when you really that's why I ask that question about
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: when did you really become friends? Right, because I think
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: that's when you can do it makes I think when
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: one person still has feelings for the other, you can't
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: do or resentment exactly. It's you got to get over
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: the resentment and you got to get over the like
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: you have to really now be on the friend zone,
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: and then you could easily do it because you just
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: don't look at each other that way anymore. You literally
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: look at each other like friends.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: You know how long that's going to take, you know?
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it depends right that that you know,
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: it can be pretty short, you know.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I mean you've heard of relationships where they they break up,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: they get divorced, and they have sex, they get remarried,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: and then they break up again and they get divorced,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: they have sex, and they get married again. It's crazy, crazy.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: But my point is is that for me, when I
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: have those you know, passionate feelings with the woman, I
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: don't know if I could turn them off.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: You know, ever.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Me like, well, if you break up like for me,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: my motto has always been, you know, once we're broken up,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: we're broken up, because obviously there were.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Some attraction and you don't see each other anymore.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: God, and you don't see each other anymore. Even with
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: one of my relationships when I was younger, it was
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I was very much in love and it broke my
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: heart and everything. And it was a very mature conversation
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: that I had with her, and it was you know,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I love you, and I know that you know this
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: is not going to be a forever relationship, and I
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: have the respect that we're going our separate ways. And
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: it was one of the hardest things I've ever done,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: but it taught me like, yeah, I can't have just
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: a friendly relationship with a woman I love this much. Right.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I don't know if that could happen with camera, although
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: you know, I guess when you when you've been with somebody.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: This is my experience so far. It's not that the
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: passion is not there or the desire is not there.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: But we've been together, gosh, fifteen years now, and it's
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: it's more of a I can see myself with this
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: woman for the rest of my life. I can do
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: anything with her, and we're friends, we're like partners, were
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: everything together. So if maybe twenty years from now that
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: was to change, maybe that would be a different perspective,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you know, because I have that friendship, I have that connection,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: and you know, I could probably see it happening. But
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: young when I was younger, like done, I don't want
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: to see you again.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: I think the key point is when that if one
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: person still loves the other, it's really hard. But I
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: think when the love is over that you know, the
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: passion and all that stuff. I think that is when
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: you can probably do it, and especially if you have
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: a like I've always had a very short memory, Like no,
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: I've never held remorse, Like there's not one person right
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: now that I could say I'm pissed off at right
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: I think that's been a little bit of a gift
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: of mine, because that's not easy for me. It's always
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: been I'm not saying I never get mad, like I've
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: been mad for two three months. Then once once I'm
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: over it, I'm over it, and I don't I don't
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: hold any grudges, and it's just easy for me to
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: just forget and then move forward. And I think that's
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: what I mean. I'm still friends with girls I.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Used to date. Oh you are okay? Yeah?
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like I'm friends. I'm still friends. In fact,
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: you know when I when all that stuff happened, I
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: you know, some of them started texting me back just
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: just to check up on me, not trying to connect
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: in a let's get back together, but just you know, hey,
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: how you doing. Hope you're doing well. And it's funny.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: I was having a conversation with with a good friend
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: of mine actually today and he was just saying, how,
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: you know I've always had good relationships. I've always ended
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: things well, you know, and how he never ended things well.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: So he was like, man, people always reach out to
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: you because you've always ended things well, whereas I always
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: ended badly. And you know, I have no friends that
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: I used to date, you know.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean that's sort of me. I don't.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I'm not friends with anybody any of my day, any
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: of my exes.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Two reasons, you know. First is the reason I just explained,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: like when you've had sexual relationships or attractions to that
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: other person, it's hard to turn those off unless you
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: know there's something, you know, major that caused to break up,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: like infidelity or something. But there's there's always going to
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: be that attraction. I think the other is out of
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: respect for my current relationship, so that she doesn't feel
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: like there's something there right. And that's why I couldn't
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: understand the dynamics with Paulie and Frank and the whole
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: relationship with the families and how they don't have those insecurities.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: If he will, but after he explained it to us
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: the way he explained it to us, you know, he
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: respects her so much that even though she said I'm sorry,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you know, I forgive you and I'm willing to go
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: past this. He had so much respect for her that
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: he elevated her to a point where it's more than
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: just a sexual attraction with this person. It's a respect,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: it's an admiration. It's like, I don't want to hurt
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: this person. And I could see that. I could totally
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: see having a relationship with a woman like that, like,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: you know what, it's not you, it's me, and I
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I respect you so much I don't want to put
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: you through this ever again. So it made sense.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: But I think that the key thing that he said
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: as well is that he brought Dolores's husband around when
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: they were around, and then that made everything, you know,
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: work because then he got to see it for himself
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: that there wasn't any you know, things going on behind
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: the scenes, because you know, you could very easily think
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: differently if you're not really there, But once you bring
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: them on and they get to see each other, you're like, okay,
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: there's there's definitely nothing happening. This is a legitimate just
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: friendship because it can very easily be interpreted. The interpretation
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: of that could be easily different. Yeah. So but again
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: I think it takes to you, you know, and and
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: that's why it's so hard to do. That's why you
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: don't have too many people. That's why you don't have
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: too many.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: People pull that off, right, because both people.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: Have to feel the same way, andally that's not the
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: case because one typically has a grudge.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Yeah, but I also think it's a maturity thing. I
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: think the older you get, the more you realize that that's.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I followed this account on Instagram that does all these
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: funny videos, and they did one recently where the guy
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: and the girl are just walking down the street holding hands,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: and they run into the girl's ex boyfriend and she
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: totally gets excited, jumps on his lap, and the guy
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: that's holding her hand, that current boyfriend's looking over. They're
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: imagining all these things, and the ex picks her up,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: you know, kisses her and makes her you know, this princess.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: He's just looking at her, starts crying, and the next
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: scene is, oh, let me introduce you to my ex boyfriend.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: It's hilarious, but that's you know, how young men's minds work,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Like what the fuck? Yeah, anyways, it was great catching
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: up brother. Likewise, I'm so happy it's you and hear
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: from you. How are things good going with you?
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: Going well? I mean, yeah, Teddy's obviously doing better, so
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: she's improving, so that's good news there. The kids are great.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: You know. I'm working a ton and I just came
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: back from Europe. That was a great trip. Now he
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: took a break. Yeah, I went to Central pay for
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: unfortunately only for a day. But then I went to
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: Capri for about six days and it was sort of
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: a last minute trip that I went on. And it
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: was the first time in sixteen years being by myself. Yeah,
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: so I found myself fourth of July just doing nothing
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: and my kids were out of town, a lot of
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: my friends were out of town. And it was the
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: first time on a fourth of July I did not
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: have plans, like you know, normally there's someone having a
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: cool party whatever, or I was always with the kids
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: for a lot of for a lot of years. And
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: a buddy of mine who was in Central Page just
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: called me and said, hey, I got this yacht. It
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: was a three hundred foot yacht, fifty million dollar yacht,
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: which I've never been on, and it's just like, hey,
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: grab a flight. I got everything covered and uh, you know,
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: we're only going to be here for one more day
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: in santro Pe, but come down and then we'll go
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: to Capri. And it was so spontaneous. I'd never done
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: something like that in a long long time, where I
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: literally literally bought the trip on fourth of July, I
