- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone show delivering news before one line. Well, Bill O'Reilly,
- 0:08Speaker 1: number one TV anchor for decades, number one best selling author,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and you can watch his TV show, get his message
- 0:16Speaker 1: of the day, the columns, everything at Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Also make sure you watch his YouTube channel. Great stuff there,
- 0:22Speaker 1: and he's got a new venture we'll talk about in
- 0:24Speaker 1: a second. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing?
- 0:27Speaker 2: You know I'm busy like you never ends, right, the
- 0:32Speaker 2: cycle never ends.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I know that you keep adding stuff. Now you've got
- 0:35Speaker 1: a new podcast. Tell us about this.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yeah, we're calling it We'll do it live. Basically, that
- 0:43Speaker 2: comes from a phrase I said when I was twelve
- 0:45Speaker 2: years old on television. Yeah, but you know that you
- 0:48Speaker 2: have bombs that everybody remembers that the missing story behind it.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I was anchoring Inside Edition and the tech people could
- 1:01Speaker 2: not get the the stuff to work, so we usually
- 1:08Speaker 2: taped our leads and I just exploded because I was
- 1:11Speaker 2: sitting there for like a half an hour and they
- 1:13Speaker 2: were just screwing up one after another. So I said,
- 1:16Speaker 2: I do it live and you know if you have
- 1:18Speaker 2: bombs that. They recorded that and somebody sold it to
- 1:25Speaker 2: a website for pretty big money. I understand really, and
- 1:30Speaker 2: that's how it got out into the public. So of
- 1:33Speaker 2: course we try to use all of that stuff to
- 1:36Speaker 2: our advantage. So my staff, younger people say, let's call
- 1:41Speaker 2: a new podcast, We'll do it live. I didn't want
- 1:44Speaker 2: to do that, you know, they insisted. So podcast every Thursday,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and we kick it off this week with Rob Schneider.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It was very good, the SNL guy, and you know,
- 2:02Speaker 2: he's an only Adam Sandler movies and he's a Trump
- 2:04Speaker 2: guy and he's played a big price for it. So
- 2:08Speaker 2: that's our first one coming up on Thursday. Thursday.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Let me just say this about We'll do it live.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Every TV host I've ever known, every TV studio I've
- 2:16Speaker 1: ever been in, there's always a moment where the control
- 2:19Speaker 1: room screws up and he yells like that at the
- 2:21Speaker 1: control That's every host ever in the history of television.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Can you of course, anybody that didn't do that.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Right? And when you're working is intensely as we have
- 2:33Speaker 2: to work. You're included in this simone, yeah, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: and and somebody just continues to screw up time after
- 2:40Speaker 2: time after time, you lose patience. Unless you're a robot.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't regret doing it, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 2: But the mercenary aspect of oh yeah, we'll get some
- 2:52Speaker 2: money for this, that's a little that's a little tortury.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think I can vouch it's every TV host ever
- 2:57Speaker 1: and every radio host has done that. It's common. So
- 3:01Speaker 1: where where do we go to watch this podcast?
- 3:04Speaker 2: It's on bill O'Reilly dot com and in all of
- 3:07Speaker 2: our ansleres, YouTube everywhere but bill O'Reilly dot coms where
- 3:13Speaker 2: we live, and people just punch that up very easy.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Shows you where the notespin news is shows you where
- 3:20Speaker 2: the podcast is shows you where the columns are very easy.
- 3:24Speaker 2: One stop shopping.
- 3:25Speaker 1: All right, Well, the first podcast, the first episode comes
- 3:27Speaker 1: out Thursday. Hey, also, you got this YouTube channel? Now
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm reading that Phil Rosenthal, who's got a big, big
- 3:34Speaker 1: hit on Netflix for years, big Netflix show is moving
- 3:38Speaker 1: to YouTube next year. What is it with this YouTube?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Everybody wants to be there because.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It's easy for younger people to access it. So older
- 3:48Speaker 2: people they don't know. But if you're under fifty, chances
- 3:53Speaker 2: are you're not watching linear TV at all. Yeah, and
- 3:57Speaker 2: so your entertainment then comes from YouTube, where you can
- 4:01Speaker 2: get music, you can get movies, you can get shows,
- 4:04Speaker 2: you can get whatever you want, and that surge and
- 4:07Speaker 2: it's a worldwide thing. It's not just national. So I
- 4:11Speaker 2: get letters in Thailand and Sri Lanka and South Africa
- 4:15Speaker 2: and you know, all these places because there's no boundary
- 4:18Speaker 2: to it. And the audience is enormous. So we get
- 4:24Speaker 2: millions of hits, which means millions of people come in
- 4:28Speaker 2: to watch certain things that we post on YouTube, and
- 4:31Speaker 2: then we can sell those as far as advertising is concerned,
- 4:35Speaker 2: because the younger people are watching that and that's who
- 4:38Speaker 2: the advertisers want to reach. So it's extremely lucrative and
- 4:41Speaker 2: it cuts out the corporations so they can't control it anymore,
- 4:47Speaker 2: and it goes right into the entrepreneurs. The danger on
- 4:52Speaker 2: that is there isn't any editing, and people do irresponsible
- 4:56Speaker 2: things on YouTube to try to make money. So that's
- 4:59Speaker 2: a day. But the good news is that the freedom
- 5:03Speaker 2: of expression has expanded by one thousandfold since YouTube is dominating.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Wow. Well watch Bill O'Reilly YouTube, great channel. And let
- 5:13Speaker 1: me ask you about the war. I Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer.
- 5:16Speaker 1: They keep talking about the endless war. Trump promised no
- 5:20Speaker 1: endless war. It's day eleven, what endless war? It's one
- 5:24Speaker 1: week and a half, sure.
- 5:25Speaker 2: But the Democratic Party is doing what it did in Vietnam.
- 5:30Speaker 2: It's setting itself up as the dissent for any kind
- 5:34Speaker 2: of military action, and I'm not sure that is a
- 5:39Speaker 2: good move right now. So it's risky and a part
- 5:42Speaker 2: of President Trump, no doubt. And if the Iran thing
- 5:45Speaker 2: does not work out, then you're gonna have our time
- 5:49Speaker 2: the Republicans are in November. But if it does work
- 5:52Speaker 2: out and those mullas are tossed and you get a
- 5:56Speaker 2: more moderate government than the Democratic Party once again is
- 6:00Speaker 2: going to be the wrong side of the issue once again.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I mean, they don't want voter IDs, they want trans
- 6:07Speaker 2: people playing against women on the field. I mean, how
- 6:11Speaker 2: many how many mistakes you're gonna make. So rather than
- 6:16Speaker 2: being neutral on it and saying, okay, we understand the
- 6:20Speaker 2: threat Iron poses the world, radical elements of the Democratic
- 6:26Speaker 2: Party and the leadership as well, they go, well, we
- 6:30Speaker 2: don't really want to take out the moments we're content
- 6:35Speaker 2: in letting them have a nuclear weapon. That's insane. So
- 6:40Speaker 2: there's big risk political risk on both sides here.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah, But when you would think if we came back
- 6:50Speaker 1: a month and a half from now, this will all
- 6:51Speaker 1: be wrapped up.
- 6:54Speaker 2: So but you just know because it's a police state
- 6:59Speaker 2: in it's not a cube. But Cuba is going to
- 7:02Speaker 2: fold any day now, has to. They can't feed their people,
- 7:07Speaker 2: all right. Ra's still got that police state intact. So
- 7:11Speaker 2: you saw these revolutionary Guide guys going out and killing you.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I mean, the estimate is thirty thousand protesters have been
- 7:18Speaker 2: killed in the last month or so in Iran. I mean,
- 7:21Speaker 2: people are fighting. They don't want to get a bullet
- 7:23Speaker 2: in the head, and that is very difficult to dislodge
- 7:29Speaker 2: from the air and from the sea. But Americans are
- 7:33Speaker 2: not going to support Grand troops in Iran. They will not,
- 7:37Speaker 2: and that would be the end of the Trump administration
- 7:39Speaker 2: if he did that.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Yeah, go back to what you said, Cuba is going
- 7:44Speaker 1: to fall at any really.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah. And the way that's going to come out
- 7:50Speaker 2: is they're going to make it a deal or a
- 7:52Speaker 2: treaty with the United States, whereby they are going to
- 7:58Speaker 2: repudiate their minist approach, going to open up the free marketplace,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and the USA will help them quote unquote rebuild their
- 8:10Speaker 2: economy and it'll pretty much be Venezuela, Washington will dictate
- 8:15Speaker 2: to Havana what they're going to do, and that's the model,
- 8:20Speaker 2: and I think that's going to happen.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Wow. Now Cuba could make a fortune. It's a beautiful
- 8:26Speaker 1: Caribbean paradise.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Oh, it's incredible. I was there a few years ago
- 8:31Speaker 2: at Varadaro Beach, which is about eight miles outside Havana,
- 8:36Speaker 2: one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The
- 8:39Speaker 2: hotel was a disaster. They didn't even have towels. They
- 8:44Speaker 2: didn't have towels, So look at the other well, how
- 8:48Speaker 2: is it dry off here? Oh? But the property was unbelievable.
- 8:55Speaker 2: And the big money in Dade County is going to
- 9:01Speaker 2: go right back into Cuba. Boom wow. And that place
- 9:05Speaker 2: is going to be in five years an unbelievable destination
- 9:11Speaker 2: and they'll have gambling. It'll be just like it was
- 9:15Speaker 2: before Castro took over in nineteen fifty nine, with the
- 9:18Speaker 2: exception of it's not going to be run by gangsters.
- 9:21Speaker 2: You know, the Godfather too is true if you watch
- 9:25Speaker 2: that movie. I mean, gangsters were controlling the Baptista government.
- 9:29Speaker 2: But now you could probably make the case that d
- 9:33Speaker 2: C full of gangsters too, but the American government will
- 9:37Speaker 2: be calling the shots in Nevana.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Wow, it'd be great to bring back Mayer Lansky and
- 9:42Speaker 1: those guys. And haven't got the live Yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 2: The Lanski Hotel a boutique experience.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Well that's great news. Well, everybody watched Bill O'Reilly. Go
- 9:54Speaker 1: to YouTube, you watch this channel there. Make sure you
- 9:57Speaker 1: go to Bill O'Reilly dot com and get the TV
- 9:59Speaker 1: show the Message of the Day, And once again, Thursday.
- 10:04Speaker 1: When does it come out? Thursday? The new podcast.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we dropped probably about six o'clock or something like that,
- 10:12Speaker 2: so everybody will be amused. It's it's it's different. You know,
- 10:15Speaker 2: most podcasts the moona a guy sitting around and sweatshirts,
- 10:19Speaker 2: smoking pot, you know, that's what they do. It's somebody's garage.
- 10:23Speaker 2: That's not what we do. This is a real upscale,
- 10:26Speaker 2: a good information flow, and Schneider really does a nice
- 10:30Speaker 2: job with it. And then the following a week from Thursday,
- 10:34Speaker 2: we got Steve Shirrippa.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Oh we love him. Well, all right, everybody watched the
- 10:39Speaker 1: new podcast called We'll Do It Live. Bill O'Reilly's new
- 10:42Speaker 1: podcast debuts premieres Thursday around six o'clock. Make sure you watch.
- 10:47Speaker 1: It will remind you and Bill O'Reilly, thanks for being with.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Us, Thanks for having me. Mark appreciate it.
