  We talked about, you know, the 50,000 people at Bristol and the

  people are just mad at me that I won't agree that NASCAR is bad.

  We're going to talk about Rockingham and Tony Stewart.

  But I just want to say this, you're not going to get me to

  get on a roll about how bad NASCAR is.

  We can discuss that there was only 50,000 people there and I

  did, and we can discuss about Kyle Larson giving everybody an

  ass whipping. And then the week before we can

  discuss about, you know, William Byron giving everybody an ass

  whip and then just getting beat in the pits.

  But you're not going to get me to go with you to make you

  happy. And then you mother me.

  All right, so Bristol was a great race, had 50,000 people

  and Kyle Larson put on a clinic. He was unbelievable.

  And that back in the 90s would have been a hell of a race

  because like I said, Darryl Waltrip won seven in a row.

  And I can guarantee you, you know, the grandstands were

  really small back then. And like I said yesterday, was

  there 30,000 people there was there.

  So it don't matter, 30,060 thousand.

  You know, we had a moment in time in NASCAR that was

  glorious. And those days are never coming

  back. Everybody, hell, baseball, all

  sports are the same way except our beloved football, OK.

  And for that fact, golf has the majors.

  And everybody gets jacked up on Mountain Dew about the majors.

  Kenny Schrader and myself are flying down to Charlotte, NC

  We're leaving at noon. We will be at Rockingham on

  Thursday. Tomorrow we'll be downtown at

  5:00. Downtown Rockingham, the

  Marshall Tucker, man, we're going to be celebrating the

  return, the return of the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

  The sight of my last NASCAR win, man, it was a beauty.

  I was on the front stretch podcast and the guy had ATV

  playing in the background. It was it was a green, white

  checkered. I went high past Jeff Green and

  Jason Keller had Matt Kenseth right on my ass.

  But I'll never forget that race. So we're going back and what do

  we got after? After celebrating tomorrow night

  down in Rockingham with everybody in the city, the

  return of NASCAR. Then on then on Friday at about

  2:00, Kenny Schrader and myself will be at the Rockingham
• 4:58
  Speedway. And then the the, the Truck
• 5:01
  Series, they start, they drop the green flag at 5:00 on
• 5:04
  Friday. We got the Orca Series in there
• 5:07
  too. Orcas there.

  We got 3 divisions and then of course on Saturday we got the
• 5:14
  the Xfinity Series sold out. They've announced this, it's
• 5:18
  sold out 32,000 people and it's going to look good.

  I really like that. Makes me happy.

  They, they, I think it was there they said he took, they took
• 5:31
  something off of a billboard and the old Winston logo was on it.

  If they didn't need to advertise something, I'd just leave it

  alone. It's kind of funny.

  It's it's like it's like Rome, you know, or or Europe.

  They start on earning things and they're like, oh, looky here

  what we got Wilkesboro and rocking and they start taking

  things apart and they're like, oh look, a a Winston sign, you

  know, really awesome. So OK, about yesterday we had

  one of the the best conversations with Tony Stewart

  that I think anybody's ever had. Tony Stewart is making his

  digital rounds, but Tony is a dear friend of mine and he got

  personal with me. Tony's Kenny conversation with

  mine was a number one. We celebrated my 100th Kenny
• 6:26
  conversation. It was fantastic.

  One thing Tony said to me that was very heartfelt out of
• 6:36
  nowhere on his own, talking about him getting married to
• 6:40
  Leah, having his baby Dominic and his dad there.
• 6:44
  I'm just going to tell you and give you a highlight because

  everybody is raving about it because it was Tony and Tony did
• 6:51
  a lot of talking. I could I, I couldn't get a word
• 6:55
  in and I didn't want to, I didn't want to, you know, when I
• 6:59
  do Kenny conversation, I got a you know, the people will stop.

  And then I got a, I got to lead the way, right?

  You know, you'll ask him a question, they'll answer it

  pretty quick. And I got to be ready to fire

  back and keep the conversation going.

  What was special about this Kenny conversation is Tony

  Stewart had a lot to say. He had a lot to say.

  I just, I'd ask a question and he'd go on for 10 minutes.

  And the one that was very emotional to me is Tony out of

  nowhere said, you know, I if I had two things to change, Tony

  said if I had two things to change, number one, I would have

  not got on that airplane and went to New York #2 He said

  during my NASCAR career, I would have been a nicer person.

  So this Kenny conversation is a different look.

  And it's all Tony. It's Tony.

  It's not, it wasn't me asking him.

  I just, I just led the way. So Tony did a lot of talking.

  And I think it's going to be worth your while to go on Kenny

  conversation because Tony will talk to me differently than he

  talks to anybody because of our, our, our friendship.

  And I really enjoyed it. And at the very end, I said,

  Hey, your dad, Nelson. I'm seeing them around an awful

  lot. And he responds to that.

  And it's really heartfelt, very emotional, very emotional

  interview. So we start out racing and then

  it gets emotional and I think you're going to want to hear

  this matter of fact, I know you will.
