In Episode 7 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure Of Dai Maam Saves Dai from the Villain Crocodine who had paralysed Dai in his battle against him and using the spell Tingle which unparalyses and gets rid of Numbness Dai sprung back up on to his feet to cut crocodine on his eye leaving him a permanent mark and was successful in pushing him to retreat away. After the battle all three returned back to Maams Village where they took up shelter and did some more training to improve their strength all whilst trying to hide the secret of Avan's Death from Maam.
