- 0:10Speaker 3: 3, 2, 1.
- 0:11Speaker 4: That's Cris X.
- 0:17Speaker 5: Radio.
- 0:17Speaker 6: Cris X Radio.
- 0:18Speaker 7: Cris X Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 8: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 0:23Speaker 8: the people of this country. This message must be read
- 0:26Speaker 8: in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen on every television.
- 0:30Speaker 8: This message must resound throughout the entire interlinked.
- 0:34Speaker 4: And now, your host.
- 0:35Speaker 9: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Chris X.
- 0:55Speaker 6: Man, I do believe it is a manic Monday. Oh, man.
- 1:00Speaker 6: With a side order of early voting. Oh, man.
- 1:06Speaker 10: We got a lot to get into today, kids, as
- 1:10Speaker 10: we normally do.
- 1:12Speaker 6: Good afternoon.
- 1:12Speaker 10: Welcome to Chris X Radio. I am the aforementioned X-Man.
- 1:16Speaker 10: Glad to have you here with us as we have
- 1:18Speaker 10: assumed control of the airwaves and we intend to maintain
- 1:21Speaker 10: control of these airwaves here on your Manic Monday edition
- 1:24Speaker 10: of the program. We got a lot going on today.
- 1:27Speaker 10: Got early voting is underway. So we'll talk about that
- 1:31Speaker 10: here at the bottom of the hour. We'll catch up
- 1:32Speaker 10: with Holly Hanson. She's a reporter with the Texan News.
- 1:35Speaker 10: She'll join us. We'll talk a little bit about early
- 1:38Speaker 10: voting and maybe even The lawsuit, did you see, to
- 1:43Speaker 10: remove Carla Wyatt as Harris County treasurer here a week
- 1:49Speaker 10: before early voting, three weeks before an election? So we
- 1:52Speaker 10: can talk about that and then a whole lot more.
- 1:55Speaker 10: We'll also, at some point during the program today, as
- 1:59Speaker 10: we bring you that gift beyond price that is almost free.
- 2:02Speaker 6: We are giving away a pair of tickets to Wings
- 2:04Speaker 6: Over Houston.
- 2:07Speaker 10: Sometime between now and the end of the show.
- 2:10Speaker 6: So keep listening for your chance to win.
- 2:11Speaker 10: We'll tell you when it is not now, but we
- 2:14Speaker 10: will tell you when here a little later in the program.
- 2:17Speaker 6: So, all right, but I'll give you a hint. It
- 2:20Speaker 6: won't be before Holly Hanson comes on. It'll be after Holly.
- 2:25Speaker 10: It is a manic Monday. Of course, early voting began today.
- 2:29Speaker 10: I was watching on the local news, some long lines
- 2:33Speaker 10: for people in a hurry to get out and vote.
- 2:36Speaker 10: which I'm not, I don't know what that means. I will,
- 2:42Speaker 10: I'll see if Holly has any insight, but it's kind
- 2:44Speaker 10: of early to make any determinations whatsoever with early voting
- 2:49Speaker 10: starting today. It goes through October the 30th, Monday through Saturday,
- 2:54Speaker 10: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday will be noon to
- 2:57Speaker 10: 7 p.m. And then election day is Tuesday, November 3rd.
- 3:00Speaker 10: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 3:03Speaker 6: If you're in Harris County.
- 3:04Speaker 10: It's harrisvotes.com if you want to go take a look
- 3:07Speaker 10: at your ballot. If you're too lazy, you're too complacent,
- 3:10Speaker 10: you're too busy.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Well, whatever.
- 3:13Speaker 10: Just if you want to go vote, a good way
- 3:15Speaker 10: to do it is to go vote. The Republicans are
- 3:17Speaker 10: listed first. So vote for Republicans all the way up
- 3:22Speaker 10: and down the ballot, at the top of the ballot.
- 3:23Speaker 6: All the way to the bottom.
- 3:25Speaker 10: If you vote R, we will be better off as
- 3:28Speaker 10: a city, as a county, as a state, and as
- 3:32Speaker 10: a country.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Guaranteed. So there you go.
- 3:36Speaker 10: Because the Marxists are going to be out in full force.
- 3:40Speaker 10: They're always ready to get out and vote early and
- 3:42Speaker 10: vote often. So they'll be out doing this. So, but
- 3:47Speaker 10: my question to you today is, did you go vote today?
- 3:51Speaker 6: How was it?
- 3:51Speaker 10: Was it crowded, or did you get in and out
- 3:53Speaker 10: in no time at all? What are you guys seeing
- 3:55Speaker 10: in Harris County? What are you seeing in Montgomery County, Brazoria,
- 3:59Speaker 10: Fort Bend, Galveston County? Whichever county you're in, if you
- 4:04Speaker 10: want to call and let us know how it was, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738,
- 4:06Speaker 10: if you want to get in.
- 4:15Speaker 6: The U.S.
- 4:15Speaker 10: Chamber of Commerce announced it has endorsed Ken Paxton over
- 4:20Speaker 10: James Talofrigo ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. So they've
- 4:24Speaker 10: come out and said, hey, listen, we're going to support
- 4:26Speaker 10: the greatest attorney general in state history.
- 4:29Speaker 6: So we got that. We can go through.
- 4:32Speaker 10: Elon Musk says he plans to give a share of
- 4:35Speaker 10: SpaceX to every child in America. Man, at that rate,
- 4:43Speaker 10: it will probably cover.
- 4:47Speaker 6: Each of his kids. He's got a lot of kids.
- 4:51Speaker 10: So we'll get into that. It's going to be about $ 10. 5
- 4:53Speaker 10: billion worth of shares.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Something like that.
- 4:56Speaker 11: What?
- 4:59Speaker 10: It's crazy how much money this guy's worth. But we
- 5:02Speaker 10: can get into it. It's also crazy what he's doing.
- 5:05Speaker 10: He does seem to be a bit of a benevolent,
- 5:08Speaker 10: a strange billionaire, trillionaire. He was the world's first trillionaire,
- 5:13Speaker 10: but he's a strange one. But he seems to be,
- 5:16Speaker 10: I guess, a bit benevolent. He seems to be a
- 5:18Speaker 10: good dude. Katie Zachariah was removed from her role as
- 5:23Speaker 10: press secretary on Friday after merely five days on the job.
- 5:28Speaker 10: A very short run, something the Democrats never do. Remember,
- 5:31Speaker 10: they they kept Kareem Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jean-Luc Picard as
- 5:36Speaker 10: press secretary forever, despite her being.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Completely unqualified for the position.
- 5:42Speaker 10: Yet the propaganda media will trash Trump over removing someone
- 5:46Speaker 10: who was clearly overwhelmed by the position. I think Chris
- 5:49Speaker 10: in spring called in and said it best.
- 5:52Speaker 6: He was like, not a good look. She didn't she
- 5:54Speaker 6: didn't make it long. Somebody who shouldn't make it long
- 5:58Speaker 6: but still is around.
- 5:59Speaker 10: Senator Elissa Slotkin, a Democrat of Missouri— no, Michigan, sorry— said in
- 6:07Speaker 10: an appearance at the University of Chicago that she wants
- 6:12Speaker 10: planned prosecutions of Trump administration figures to deter young people
- 6:16Speaker 10: from taking jobs in the administration. Oh, she's a good
- 6:20Speaker 10: little communist totalitarian dictator that— and she's not the only one.
- 6:27Speaker 10: So the Democrats are already planning on prosecuting Republicans to
- 6:31Speaker 10: make sure that nobody ever makes the mistake of going
- 6:34Speaker 10: against them and their.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Eternal lust for power, folks.
- 6:38Speaker 10: As early voting is underway, you've got Democrats openly calling
- 6:42Speaker 10: for prosecuting Republicans to try to deter— Anyone from becoming
- 6:48Speaker 10: a Republican, anyone working in a Republican administration, I remember
- 6:52Speaker 10: the days back when Democrats said, hey, we need young
- 6:55Speaker 10: people to get out and vote. Oh, wait, we just
- 6:58Speaker 10: need people to get out and vote for us, not
- 7:00Speaker 10: for the other side. You'll be prosecuted. She's already named
- 7:07Speaker 10: Kristi Noem, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, Jeanine Pirro.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Saying they should all be held accountable. Okay, we can
- 7:16Speaker 6: do that. I guess we can hold the Democrats accountable too, right? No,
- 7:20Speaker 6: that is overreach.
- 7:25Speaker 10: The BBC reports on protests in France and are having
- 7:29Speaker 10: their very own fiery but mostly peaceful moment while airing
- 7:33Speaker 10: footage of rioters burning cars. BBC Paris correspondent James Waterhouse
- 7:39Speaker 10: reported on Sunday that the protests and riots, which have
- 7:43Speaker 10: rocked France and Italy— were mostly peaceful, but the footage
- 7:48Speaker 10: the BBC was airing while he was talking didn't quite
- 7:51Speaker 10: back up that claim. There were cars on fire, people
- 7:54Speaker 10: rioting and destroying things.
- 7:57Speaker 6: It is so weird how these left-wing reporters.
- 8:00Speaker 10: Can't even just for one second admit that the reality
- 8:04Speaker 10: is is their side are a bunch of violent thugs
- 8:07Speaker 10: and they encourage that violence and then lie about it
- 8:11Speaker 10: when people see it with their own eyes on television.
- 8:16Speaker 10: You guys remember CNN after the 2020 riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin?
- 8:20Speaker 6: Described it as fiery, but mostly peaceful.
- 8:23Speaker 10: You guys remember that? And now you've got the BBC,
- 8:28Speaker 10: another left-wing journalist. I know it's British, but there's so
- 8:32Speaker 10: left-wing running down the same road. How these networks have
- 8:38Speaker 10: any credibility at this point is beyond me. Now, I
- 8:41Speaker 10: know this is my job to study this all day.
- 8:44Speaker 10: Most people don't have time. They simply want to come
- 8:47Speaker 10: home from work and maybe relax and relax. watch some TV,
- 8:50Speaker 10: but they just don't realize they're being propagandized to all day,
- 8:54Speaker 10: every day, between Hollywood, of course, the media, the propaganda media, constantly.
- 9:03Speaker 10: And that includes the BBC. You're not going to get
- 9:05Speaker 10: fair coverage just because it's in England or France.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Which is.
- 9:11Speaker 10: By the way, folks, if you're not paying attention, if
- 9:13Speaker 10: you're ready to go vote in Democrats, you don't see
- 9:15Speaker 10: what's coming.
- 9:16Speaker 6: That's what's coming. If you vote Democrats in, that is
- 9:19Speaker 6: headed here.
- 9:20Speaker 10: I know the fiery but peaceful has already happened, but
- 9:22Speaker 10: what's happening there is coming here. Because when you elect
- 9:27Speaker 10: an electorate, I'm sorry, the electorate elects leaders who cater
- 9:33Speaker 10: to mobs, cater to thugs, cater to criminals, people who
- 9:38Speaker 10: exercise political violence while claiming they're against it.
- 9:43Speaker 6: That's what you get.
- 9:46Speaker 10: Anyway, well, hopefully we'll get to hear from some people
- 9:48Speaker 10: that went out and voted, maybe early voted today.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Did you get out and early vote? 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Let's
- 9:52Speaker 6: go ahead and go to the phones. Looks like we
- 9:55Speaker 6: got Mike listening in.
- 10:00Speaker 10: Willis uh we'll go to him first Mike thanks for
- 10:02Speaker 10: hanging on welcome to Chris X.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Radio uh yes sir I went to uh Conroe the
- 10:09Speaker 3: library don't waste your time there's plenty of parking in
- 10:12Speaker 3: Willis and you maybe 10 minutes you're in and.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Out Well, hold on.
- 10:19Speaker 10: You said you went to Conroe, but then you voted
- 10:22Speaker 10: in Willis. You said don't waste your time going to Conroe,
- 10:24Speaker 10: go to Willis.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Is that what you're saying?
- 10:27Speaker 12: Yeah, they got it set up. Conroe is a madhouse,
- 10:32Speaker 12: and it's sad. I mean, they need to find a
- 10:35Speaker 12: bigger place with more parking. There is no parking at
- 10:38Speaker 12: the library.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Okay, and that is what county are you voting in
- 10:42Speaker 6: over there? Is that Montgomery County?
- 10:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 10: Okay, so those in Montgomery County, what you saw earlier today,
- 10:48Speaker 10: what time did you go vote today?
- 10:51Speaker 13: I just finished.
- 10:53Speaker 12: I started around 3 o'clock, and by 3.30 I was
- 10:58Speaker 12: through when I drove from Conroe Library up to Willis.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Okay, so did you vote in Conroe or Willis?
- 11:07Speaker 13: I voted in Willis.
- 11:08Speaker 12: I ain't going to stand in line for an hour.
- 11:11Speaker 6: Okay, all right. So it wasn't busy in Willis at all?
- 11:15Speaker 6: How long were you in line at Willis?
- 11:19Speaker 13: About five minutes.
- 11:20Speaker 10: Okay, so it was nice and easy over there. But
- 11:24Speaker 10: the lines were pretty long in Conroe.
- 11:25Speaker 6: Is what you're saying?
- 11:27Speaker 14: Oh, yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 13: They were almost a football field long.
- 11:31Speaker 10: Man, that's crazy for early voting on the first day
- 11:35Speaker 10: that that many people are getting out.
- 11:37Speaker 6: But then again, it's not completely shocking.
- 11:40Speaker 10: So what kind of people would you say were you
- 11:44Speaker 10: seeing that were turning out and voting?
- 11:47Speaker 6: Was there any tells or do you have no idea?
- 11:49Speaker 12: Sir, all I know is I got in.
- 11:55Speaker 3: And out in about five to ten minutes.
- 11:59Speaker 15: Okay.
- 11:59Speaker 5: All right.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Well, thank you for the call, Mike. I appreciate it.
- 12:02Speaker 6: A little sparse on the details there. I was a
- 12:05Speaker 6: little confused. I wanted to clarify.
- 12:07Speaker 10: So he went to Conroe. There was a football field,
- 12:10Speaker 10: long lines or whatever. And then he ended up going
- 12:13Speaker 10: to Willis and voting. So if you're in Montgomery County,
- 12:15Speaker 10: I think you can do that.
- 12:16Speaker 6: If you're in.
- 12:17Speaker 10: Harris County, don't go try to vote in Willis or Conroe.
- 12:20Speaker 10: I don't think you can vote in the Montgomery County elections.
- 12:22Speaker 10: You need to vote in Harris County. But it looked
- 12:25Speaker 10: like things were much better over in Willis. I was seeing,
- 12:29Speaker 10: and I don't know which polling station it was. What
- 12:32Speaker 10: is there, something like 200 of them in Harris County?
- 12:35Speaker 10: I don't know if it's quite that many. In fact,
- 12:36Speaker 10: you know what? Hold on. Before I go lying to you,
- 12:39Speaker 10: let's type in Harris votes, Harris votes. I'd have Lucas
- 12:44Speaker 10: look this up, but his pigeons would probably get lost.
- 12:47Speaker 10: I think, what was her pigeon?
- 12:49Speaker 16: They went to the Conroe Library.
- 12:52Speaker 10: They went there so uh there we go i'm looking
- 12:56Speaker 10: to see uh locations.
- 13:00Speaker 6: I got locations.
- 13:03Speaker 10: Um i'm trying to look and see if we can
- 13:06Speaker 10: find how many locations are available in harris county looks
- 13:10Speaker 10: like not a lot of them are in conroe conroe
- 13:12Speaker 10: you know it's weird because conroe used to be a
- 13:14Speaker 10: very small town Not so much anymore.
- 13:17Speaker 6: A lot of people have moved out that way, and
- 13:19Speaker 6: that's over Montgomery County.
- 13:22Speaker 10: So, all right, Cash, if you can go look up
- 13:24Speaker 10: and find out how many election locations are in Harris County,
- 13:29Speaker 10: and then maybe also, if you get time, maybe look
- 13:31Speaker 10: up how many election locations are in Montgomery County. It'll
- 13:37Speaker 10: be interesting to see. The local news was there, and
- 13:41Speaker 10: there was long lines. I heard from one person earlier
- 13:45Speaker 10: I won't say his name, but he goes by Rosso,
- 13:48Speaker 10: first name Rich. Apparently, he went and voted over in
- 13:51Speaker 10: Harris County in the Champions area, and he said it
- 13:53Speaker 10: was packed over there.
- 13:56Speaker 6: And that was early this morning.
- 13:58Speaker 10: He's one of those crazy weirdo guys that gets out early, early,
- 14:01Speaker 10: early in the morning. Because at halftime, he does his
- 14:07Speaker 10: show in the mornings. So he's out early, but apparently
- 14:10Speaker 10: he went and voted early this morning, and in Champions
- 14:13Speaker 10: it was packed. I'm assuming the one that the news
- 14:16Speaker 10: always goes to is usually the one over there near downtown,
- 14:19Speaker 10: and it's either off West Gray or whatever. There's a couple,
- 14:23Speaker 10: two or three locations over near me. There's one over
- 14:25Speaker 10: there in Jersey Village. There's that Prairie View A & M.
- 14:31Speaker 10: It's sort of an outlet over there, Grant Road near 249.
- 14:35Speaker 10: That's a location near me as well. And then there's
- 14:38Speaker 10: a couple other ones. There was, you know, they bounced around.
- 14:42Speaker 10: So you can go check them out or whatever. But
- 14:45Speaker 10: there's a lot of locations in Harris. So you can
- 14:47Speaker 10: probably look around and find some.
- 14:49Speaker 6: That aren't maybe too terribly busy. But it looked like
- 14:54Speaker 6: they were pretty busy.
- 14:55Speaker 10: So a lot of people are getting out and voting
- 14:57Speaker 10: here on the first day of early voting.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Sometimes that happens. So that's not.
- 15:01Speaker 10: Completely out of the ordinary. But to this degree, I
- 15:05Speaker 10: think it is maybe a little... People are fired up.
- 15:08Speaker 10: And this has been such a negative campaign season. Like
- 15:14Speaker 10: I said, watching the Democrats who claim they're against it
- 15:16Speaker 10: be as negative as they possibly can while trying to
- 15:19Speaker 10: pretend that they're not being negative. But then again, they're
- 15:21Speaker 10: the fiery but peaceful folks. So watching them do what
- 15:25Speaker 10: they're doing. And then, of course, the propaganda media tries
- 15:28Speaker 10: to get everybody hyped up.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Anti-Republican. There was a bunch of, well, I think there
- 15:33Speaker 6: were some around town. I didn't see any.
- 15:36Speaker 10: But there were, quote, no kings protest, which is no
- 15:39Speaker 10: Trump protest. I love how they're saying you got to
- 15:42Speaker 10: get on vote.
- 15:43Speaker 6: No kings. They keep somehow calling Trump a king.
- 15:47Speaker 10: They keep calling him the king while they celebrate Charles,
- 15:51Speaker 10: King Charles of Great Britain.
- 15:53Speaker 6: They celebrate that king. They say no kings here in America.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Get out and vote. We don't have kings in America.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Trump's not a king.
- 16:03Speaker 10: If he was, you dirtbags wouldn't be allowed to vote,
- 16:05Speaker 10: I'm pretty sure. But you dirtbags, anything you can to
- 16:09Speaker 10: manipulate fools into voting.
- 16:13Speaker 6: We need to vote on our side. We need to
- 16:15Speaker 6: get rid of these kings. What kings? Cash, have you
- 16:19Speaker 6: met any kings lately?
- 16:20Speaker 16: No, but I keep hearing about them.
- 16:27Speaker 6: They manipulate.
- 16:28Speaker 10: This is one of the reasons, too, why I try
- 16:29Speaker 10: to say be rational and don't be emotional. We are
- 16:32Speaker 10: emotional beings. I understand that. But when it comes to
- 16:36Speaker 10: voting and then the politics, you try to be rational.
- 16:39Speaker 10: Make sure you're using your brain because the emotional voters
- 16:43Speaker 10: are the ones that are always being manipulated one way
- 16:46Speaker 10: or the other. And we see which way it usually goes.
- 16:49Speaker 10: All right, you're listening to.
- 16:50Speaker 6: Chris X Radio. We're going to come back, take a
- 16:51Speaker 6: very short break, and then we'll come back.

- 16:55Speaker 10: with Holly Hanson from the Texan News. She'll join us
- 16:58Speaker 10: here at the bottom of the hour. We're just getting
- 17:00Speaker 10: started here on Chris X Radio.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Don't you go anywhere.

- 18:02Speaker 20: I'm Mike Schofield, and I will always keep you and
- 18:05Speaker 20: your family first. As your state representative, I'm working to
- 18:09Speaker 20: pass tough new laws forcing liberal district attorneys to prosecute
- 18:13Speaker 20: violent offenders... to keep them off the streets and behind
- 18:16Speaker 20: bars where they belong. Protecting our families and our community
- 18:19Speaker 20: is important to me. That's why I passed a tough
- 18:22Speaker 20: new law protecting children from criminals engaged in human trafficking.
- 18:26Speaker 7: Let's keep Mike Schofield working for us. Mike Schofield is
- 18:30Speaker 7: fighting to keep our economy strong by supporting small businesses.
- 18:35Speaker 20: I know that to stop inflation and create better local jobs,
- 18:39Speaker 20: we must cut taxes and burdensome regulations on small businesses.
- 18:43Speaker 20: As your state representative, I believe that small business is
- 18:46Speaker 20: the heartbeat of our local economy. That's why I champion
- 18:49Speaker 20: policies to stop the rising cost on small businesses, helping
- 18:53Speaker 20: them keep more of their hard-earned dollars.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Let's keep Mike Schofield working for us.

- 19:02Speaker 21: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 19:05Speaker 21: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 19:08Speaker 21: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 19:11Speaker 21: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 19:14Speaker 21: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 19:18Speaker 21: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 19:23Speaker 21: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 19:26Speaker 21: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 19:28Speaker 21: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 19:32Speaker 21: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break?
- 19:36Speaker 21: Sap will ooze and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 19:39Speaker 21: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 19:46Speaker 21: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 19:49Speaker 21: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.

- 20:21Speaker 17: Chris X Radio.
- 20:42Speaker 6: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man.
- 20:46Speaker 10: Here on your Manic Monday edition, along with a side
- 20:49Speaker 10: of early voting. Early voting started today, October 19th. It
- 20:53Speaker 10: runs through October 30th, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to
- 20:57Speaker 10: 7 p.m., Sundays noon to 7 p.m., and then Tuesday,
- 21:01Speaker 10: November 3rd, 7 a.m.
- 21:02Speaker 6: To 7 p.m. is Election Day.
- 21:04Speaker 10: If you're in Harris County, you can always go to HarrisVotes.com,
- 21:08Speaker 10: and then that way you can find out the information
- 21:10Speaker 10: you're looking for.
- 21:11Speaker 6: We already heard from at least one caller. Mike called
- 21:13Speaker 6: and said... He went to Conroe, but it was crazy
- 21:16Speaker 6: and it was packed.
- 21:16Speaker 10: And then he ended up going and voting in Willis.
- 21:20Speaker 10: And he said, it's five minutes in and out. No
- 21:22Speaker 10: problem at all. It was, it was a little unclear
- 21:27Speaker 10: what happened. So, but I got him to, to, you know,
- 21:30Speaker 10: of course talk a little bit more and he did.
- 21:33Speaker 10: So apparently Willis was wide open. So if you're up
- 21:35Speaker 10: in Montgomery County, there you go. Apparently Conroe was pretty busy.
- 21:39Speaker 10: She doesn't surprise me. Conroe's population has jumped up pretty
- 21:43Speaker 10: good here in the last few years. I'll ask you,
- 21:48Speaker 10: after we talk with Holly, I'll ask you guys to
- 21:51Speaker 10: call in and tell us if you early voted or
- 21:53Speaker 10: not today.
- 21:53Speaker 6: I did not. Cash, you haven't early voted yet, have you?
- 21:57Speaker 6: That is correct. Are you going to early vote or
- 22:00Speaker 6: are you going to go and vote on election day?
- 22:02Speaker 16: Oh, I'm thinking Wednesday, probably.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Okay, so Wednesday could be a good day. Usually, by then,
- 22:08Speaker 6: things have calmed down a little bit with early voting.
- 22:13Speaker 6: You never know.
- 22:13Speaker 16: When I hear Willis, it's really nice.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Well, are you in Montgomery County or are you in
- 22:20Speaker 6: Harris County?
- 22:21Speaker 16: No, I just want to go visit Willis and check
- 22:23Speaker 16: this thing out.
- 22:26Speaker 6: There you go.
- 22:27Speaker 10: I'll be voting in Harris County. So, uh, the Jersey
- 22:30Speaker 10: village one is usually pretty good. Usually pretty quick. I
- 22:34Speaker 10: usually go about midday somewhere, not directly during lunchtime because
- 22:38Speaker 10: people tend to go then, but a little before or
- 22:40Speaker 10: a little after. And generally when I early vote, I'm
- 22:44Speaker 10: in and out in five minutes and that's.
- 22:46Speaker 6: That's how I like it. So, uh, But we'll see
- 22:51Speaker 6: you on this.
- 22:51Speaker 10: Oh, by the way, don't forget, we're going to be
- 22:53Speaker 10: giving away a pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston. Man,
- 22:56Speaker 10: I heard these tickets are expensive this year. So we're
- 23:00Speaker 10: going to be giving away a pair of tickets to
- 23:01Speaker 10: Wings Over Houston sometime today before the end of the show.
- 23:05Speaker 6: So keep listening.
- 23:05Speaker 10: I'll tell you when to call in, but not now.
- 23:09Speaker 10: We're not giving them away yet. Just letting you know
- 23:11Speaker 10: that we will be. So if you're listening, you need
- 23:14Speaker 10: to keep listening, and then we can give away those tickets.
- 23:17Speaker 10: We got three pair we're going to give away this week.
- 23:20Speaker 10: So we'll give some away probably maybe Monday and Tuesday
- 23:24Speaker 10: and Wednesday. Maybe we'll save a pair for our Friday
- 23:27Speaker 10: show on Thursday.
- 23:29Speaker 6: But I don't know. We'll see.
- 23:31Speaker 10: But Holly Hansen will join us here in the next segment.
- 23:33Speaker 10: In fact, we'll go ahead and take a break so
- 23:34Speaker 10: we can catch up with Holly when we come back.
- 23:36Speaker 10: She's a reporter with the Texan News.
- 23:38Speaker 6: We'll come back. We'll talk to her about early voting.
- 23:43Speaker 6: Have we even talked about Carla Wyatt, the lawsuit? I
- 23:47Speaker 6: guess over the weekend, was it Friday?
- 23:52Speaker 10: Louis LaRoda has filed a lawsuit to remove Carla Wyatt as.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Harris County treasurer. Now, she's in the middle of an election.
- 24:02Speaker 10: The election's coming up here in a couple weeks. So,
- 24:07Speaker 10: it's very strange, but apparently Carla has serious issues, and
- 24:10Speaker 10: we can talk with Holly. She's written some articles about,
- 24:14Speaker 10: at least one article that I remember about Carla.
- 24:17Speaker 6: And then I've heard some other things, too, which is... Just,
- 24:21Speaker 6: we'll see what ends up happening. Anyway, you're listening to
- 24:24Speaker 6: Chris X Radio. We're going to take a break. We'll
- 24:25Speaker 6: come back, catch up with Holly Hanson, a reporter with
- 24:28Speaker 6: the Texan News. She joins us here next.
- 24:37Speaker 17: Chris X Radio.

- 25:40Speaker 26: Do you need money? Want to lower your monthly debt?
- 25:43Speaker 26: Are you thinking about a cash out refinance? Hi, it's
- 25:46Speaker 26: Kathy from Baker Mortgage. A cash out refinance can get
- 25:49Speaker 26: you back in your comfort zone, and that's.
- 25:52Speaker 16: What it's all about.
- 25:53Speaker 26: A recent client who closed with us had his payment
- 25:55Speaker 26: go up about $ 300, but his monthly outgo was being
- 26:00Speaker 26: reduced by $ 1, 200, so giving him a net positive cash
- 26:03Speaker 26: flow of $ 900. It's not about adding debt, but restructuring
- 26:08Speaker 26: it in a way that makes sense. And this math
- 26:10Speaker 26: totally makes sense. And please don't sweat it if your
- 26:13Speaker 26: interest rate is going up a little or if you're

- 26:22Speaker 26: towards your mortgage, you're going to pay it off just
- 26:24Speaker 26: as quickly and you'll be way ahead in the money game,
- 26:27Speaker 26: which is where we all want to be, right? Remember,

- 27:14Speaker 11: From the KSEV Weather Center, tonight expect partly cloudy skies
- 27:17Speaker 11: with a low of 55. Tomorrow will bring sunny conditions
- 27:20Speaker 11: with a high of 83. Tomorrow night will be mainly
- 27:23Speaker 11: clear with a low of 58. Moving on to Wednesday,
- 27:26Speaker 11: anticipate sunny and warm weather with a high of 86.
- 27:29Speaker 11: Thursday will also be warm with plenty of sunshine and
- 27:32Speaker 11: a high of 87. As we head into Friday, it'll
- 27:35Speaker 11: be mostly sunny and remaining warm with a high of
- 27:37Speaker 11: 87 as well. With the KSEV Weather Center forecast, I'm
- 27:41Speaker 11: AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 27:47Speaker 17: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 27:50Speaker 17: of Texas.
- 28:00Speaker 10: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man.
- 28:03Speaker 10: It is time to catch up with our guest. Our
- 28:06Speaker 10: guest is Holly Hanson. She is a reporter with the
- 28:09Speaker 10: Texan News. She joins us here now. Always good to
- 28:12Speaker 10: catch up with Holly. Holly, it seems like it's been
- 28:14Speaker 10: a while since we've had you on the program. Good
- 28:16Speaker 10: to get you back on the show.
- 28:17Speaker 9: Well, thanks for having me on, Chris. Love coming on.
- 28:21Speaker 10: Well, it's always fun to get you on the program
- 28:22Speaker 10: because you do a great job over there along with
- 28:24Speaker 10: your colleagues over at the Texan News, which if people
- 28:28Speaker 10: aren't reading and checking out, it's the texan.news.
- 28:30Speaker 6: They need to be checking that out.
- 28:31Speaker 10: And they also need to follow you on social media
- 28:35Speaker 10: at Holly S. Hansen on Twitter because not only do
- 28:39Speaker 10: you post your work, but you post your colleagues' work
- 28:41Speaker 10: who also do a good job and you post other
- 28:43Speaker 10: things as well. And I use you as a reliable
- 28:46Speaker 10: source when I actually want news, because I know sometimes
- 28:50Speaker 10: when I'm going to other outlets, I don't always get news.
- 28:53Speaker 10: But you are always bringing us the news, at least
- 28:56Speaker 10: definitely the way that.
- 28:57Speaker 6: You see it.
- 28:57Speaker 10: But for sure, you you sort of cover it the
- 28:59Speaker 10: way it is, which has been a lost art, I believe,
- 29:01Speaker 10: in journalism. But I'm glad to see that you're still
- 29:04Speaker 10: doing this. And that's why one of the reasons why
- 29:06Speaker 10: I always enjoy talking with you.
- 29:07Speaker 6: All right.
- 29:07Speaker 10: So good to get you back on the show. So
- 29:09Speaker 10: today's the first day of early voting. You going to
- 29:13Speaker 10: have any early voting stories coming up for us here
- 29:15Speaker 10: in the next.
- 29:16Speaker 6: Day or two?
- 29:18Speaker 9: I'm sure that we will. But, you know, we're so
- 29:21Speaker 9: busy trying to keep track of all of the election news.
- 29:24Speaker 9: And it seems like every time we turn around, there's
- 29:27Speaker 9: something new to report. And I think you were talking
- 29:30Speaker 9: a little bit about the situation in Harris County with
- 29:33Speaker 9: the Harris County treasurer, Carl Wyatt, who has been arrested
- 29:39Speaker 9: several times. twice for DUI. She was also arrested and
- 29:44Speaker 9: charged in a burglary, although we saw those charges dropped.
- 29:48Speaker 9: And then she was involved in a high-speed car crash
- 29:53Speaker 9: last month. And so there's been a lot of concern
- 29:56Speaker 9: about this elected treasurer of Harris County. Her office was
- 30:02Speaker 9: found to have not exactly been scrutinizing some of the
- 30:07Speaker 9: payments they were making. Commissioner's Court is aware of the problem.
- 30:11Speaker 9: In fact, they stripped her of some of her authority.
- 30:15Speaker 9: And they opted not to give her a raise along
- 30:18Speaker 9: with the other elected officials. But otherwise, they've been pretty
- 30:22Speaker 9: quiet about Carla Wyatt, who is a Democrat. She is
- 30:27Speaker 9: on the ballot this year, and she has a Republican opponent.
- 30:30Speaker 9: But a citizen has now filed a lawsuit to just
- 30:35Speaker 9: forcibly remove her from office since the county's been pretty
- 30:39Speaker 9: quiet about it.
- 30:41Speaker 10: Yeah, you know, it's interesting because I know these officials
- 30:43Speaker 10: can be removed from office. And now that someone has
- 30:46Speaker 10: stepped up here really close to an election that she is,
- 30:49Speaker 10: as you mentioned, is in the middle of the election.
- 30:51Speaker 6: The election's coming up.
- 30:54Speaker 10: It's very— the situation with her is very weird because, one,
- 30:58Speaker 10: you've got the two DWI arrests, they're driving into the
- 31:00Speaker 10: influence or whatever, and then you had the one where
- 31:03Speaker 10: she broke into a car. Now, I saw an interview
- 31:05Speaker 10: with the owner of the car who said they didn't
- 31:08Speaker 10: know Carla. They don't know why she was in her
- 31:10Speaker 10: vehicle doing what she was doing. They don't know what happened,
- 31:13Speaker 10: yet somehow a grand jury failed to indict her, and
- 31:15Speaker 10: those charges were ultimately dropped. And then you throw in
- 31:18Speaker 10: the fact that this wreck, that they say, I don't
- 31:21Speaker 10: think they tested her for DWI at the wreck. But
- 31:24Speaker 10: I've heard somewhere else, someone told me, now maybe you
- 31:26Speaker 10: can verify or verify if this is true or not,
- 31:28Speaker 10: or if you've heard, is that when she went into
- 31:31Speaker 10: one of her scheduled, you know, she has to go
- 31:33Speaker 10: because she's had the DWI thing to go get checked for,
- 31:36Speaker 10: you know, making sure she's following the, I guess, the
- 31:38Speaker 10: protocols that she was actually drunk upon attending one of
- 31:43Speaker 10: those events where she went in and they checked her to,
- 31:47Speaker 10: I guess, supposed to be an Alkabah Hall rehabilitation program
- 31:49Speaker 10: or something along those lines. Do you know anything about that,
- 31:52Speaker 10: or is that simply something that you haven't heard of?
- 31:56Speaker 9: Yeah, I have heard that allegation. You know, I have
- 31:59Speaker 9: not verified that. I want to be very careful about
- 32:02Speaker 9: what I say here, but she is known to have
- 32:05Speaker 9: violated her bond conditions. and reportedly, and I believe this
- 32:09Speaker 9: was in the lawsuit that was filed last week, reportedly
- 32:13Speaker 9: showed up for one of these visits, according to her
- 32:16Speaker 9: release conditions, and she was intoxicated at the time she
- 32:20Speaker 9: showed up, according to a breast laser there. Now, one
- 32:24Speaker 9: of the problems is that you've got this lawsuit to
- 32:27Speaker 9: try to remove her from office, but things would have
- 32:31Speaker 9: to move pretty quickly for it to be effective. I
- 32:34Speaker 9: had one attorney tell me that they think There's a
- 32:37Speaker 9: provision in the law that even though you can remove
- 32:41Speaker 9: an elected official for drunkenness, if they win a reelection,
- 32:45Speaker 9: then the clock starts all over again because they're in
- 32:49Speaker 9: a new term. And so this resident may have to
- 32:54Speaker 9: refile once she's re-sworn in for her next term if
- 32:58Speaker 9: she wins her election next month. So it is a
- 33:02Speaker 9: very weird legal situation. But it's very strange that, you know,
- 33:08Speaker 9: most of the Harris County officials have been very quiet
- 33:11Speaker 9: about what to do about Carter Wyatt.
- 33:15Speaker 6: It is such a strange situation. Like I said.
- 33:18Speaker 10: Generally, when you're electing officials, you expect them to hold
- 33:21Speaker 10: themselves to a certain level of decorum. But this situation
- 33:24Speaker 10: has seemed to have spiraled completely out of hand.
- 33:27Speaker 6: And and you're right.
- 33:28Speaker 10: I don't think it doesn't seem like anyone is willing
- 33:32Speaker 10: on a certain side of the aisle to do anything
- 33:34Speaker 10: about it. And then, of course, you've got the whole
- 33:36Speaker 10: election process, which is she's in the middle of. I
- 33:39Speaker 10: do believe she's running against the Republican candidate who is Mark.
- 33:42Speaker 10: Is it Mark Cowart who is running against her?
- 33:45Speaker 9: That's right. Mark Tower would be her Republican opponent. But,
- 33:49Speaker 9: you know, the problem is, Chris, and your listeners are
- 33:52Speaker 9: probably really well informed about what's on the ballot and
- 33:55Speaker 9: even down ballot. But most voters are not. We're just
- 33:59Speaker 9: looking at a poll today from the University of Houston
- 34:03Speaker 9: about some of the races near the top of the ticket,
- 34:06Speaker 9: such as the attorney general's race, where you have about
- 34:09Speaker 9: half of the respondents not knowing enough about the candidates
- 34:13Speaker 9: to even form an opinion of them. So what do
- 34:16Speaker 9: they know about the county treasurer on the ballot? Probably
- 34:19Speaker 9: very little.
- 34:21Speaker 6: No, I think you're dead on.
- 34:23Speaker 10: When you're talking about talk radio, you're talking about the
- 34:25Speaker 10: most informed part of the electorate, and we're a small
- 34:28Speaker 10: percentage of it, as you just pointed out. So the
- 34:30Speaker 10: vast majority of people out there voting have no clue
- 34:34Speaker 10: who and what they're voting for, which is why they
- 34:36Speaker 10: typically vote for the letter next to their name. And
- 34:39Speaker 10: when you get into Harris County, Things have moved drastically
- 34:42Speaker 10: towards the D over the last few years. And then,
- 34:45Speaker 10: but like I said, when you have someone like Carla Wyatt,
- 34:49Speaker 10: who has been featured on the news, which less and
- 34:51Speaker 10: less people watch the news now. So people are watching
- 34:54Speaker 10: the nightly news and this situation going on and on again.
- 34:57Speaker 27: And then.
- 34:58Speaker 6: You hear of a lawsuit that, as you pointed out,
- 35:00Speaker 6: could simply have to.
- 35:01Speaker 10: Be refiled here in a few weeks, I guess, if
- 35:05Speaker 10: in fact she goes back and win it. As far
- 35:07Speaker 10: as any of the polling saying, I know that we've
- 35:09Speaker 10: seen most of the races, many of them are well
- 35:11Speaker 10: within the margin of error. The last few polls that
- 35:14Speaker 10: I've seen, at least they have that within either Governor
- 35:19Speaker 10: Abbott was up, Lieutenant Governor Patrick was up. But when
- 35:21Speaker 10: it came to Attorney General Ken Paxton, they had him
- 35:24Speaker 10: down by about two or three points. but that's all
- 35:27Speaker 10: well within the margin of error. So basically things are
- 35:30Speaker 10: really close here going into the election. Have you seen
- 35:32Speaker 10: any polling regarding, is there any polling regarding the Harris
- 35:36Speaker 10: County treasurer position?
- 35:39Speaker 9: I have not seen a thing. You know, we did
- 35:41Speaker 9: have a poll last week that was just on Harris County,
- 35:45Speaker 9: and it was done by the University of Houston's Hobby School,
- 35:48Speaker 9: which is one of the more reputable state polling firms.
- 35:52Speaker 9: But they didn't bother going down ballot that far. They
- 35:55Speaker 9: talked a bit about the county judges race where you
- 35:58Speaker 9: have a Democrat, Letitia Plummer, leading the Republican Orlando Sanchez
- 36:03Speaker 9: by about seven points. But still quite a few voters
- 36:08Speaker 9: being undecided in the statewide poll that they just released
- 36:12Speaker 9: late last night. As you said, Tallarico and Paxton are
- 36:17Speaker 9: separated by about two percentage points, but that is within
- 36:21Speaker 9: the polls margin of error. One area of concern, of course,
- 36:25Speaker 9: is what's happening with the independent voters who do seem
- 36:29Speaker 9: to be breaking this year for the Democrats, probably out
- 36:33Speaker 9: of frustration with economic issues. And so that's, you know,
- 36:38Speaker 9: one of the trends that we see. And in that race,
- 36:42Speaker 9: you know, Chris, I think there's been an estimated $ 425
- 36:46Speaker 9: million spent on the U.S. Senate race in Texas so far,
- 36:51Speaker 9: and very few voters don't know anything about that race.
- 36:55Speaker 9: But again, you get down to your county treasurer, you
- 36:58Speaker 9: get down to some of these down-ballot races, even at
- 37:01Speaker 9: the statewide level, there's just not a lot of awareness.
- 37:06Speaker 9: And that's where people like your listeners come in to
- 37:09Speaker 9: be very important in these elections because they are generally
- 37:14Speaker 9: more informed about these races and have the opportunity to
- 37:19Speaker 9: talk to their friends and neighbors and so forth about
- 37:22Speaker 9: what's on the ballot and what some.
- 37:24Speaker 28: Of these issues are.
- 37:26Speaker 6: Boy, that is no joke.
- 37:27Speaker 10: That's one of the reasons why we encourage people to, one,
- 37:29Speaker 10: get informed, but also to make sure that they're voting
- 37:32Speaker 10: because you don't want to sit it out.
- 37:34Speaker 6: You speak of the situation, too.
- 37:36Speaker 10: Historically speaking, the party that is not in power usually
- 37:40Speaker 10: tends to do better in these sort of midterms around
- 37:43Speaker 10: this time. So, you know, historically speaking, the Democrats should
- 37:46Speaker 10: do pretty well. But then again, we have a time
- 37:48Speaker 10: now where there's some pretty radical support. Democrat candidates running,
- 37:52Speaker 10: which sort of evens it. And then, of course, when
- 37:54Speaker 10: it comes to polling, Republicans are historically under-polled. Many of
- 37:58Speaker 10: the Trump voters don't ever show up in the polls.
- 38:01Speaker 10: They never answer the phone. They don't take online polls,
- 38:04Speaker 10: and they darn sure don't do text messaging polling.
- 38:07Speaker 6: So they're underrepresented.
- 38:09Speaker 10: So it seems to be anybody's game at this point,
- 38:14Speaker 10: But that's just once again, that's just in the election.
- 38:16Speaker 6: But that's not all that's going on. In fact, I
- 38:18Speaker 6: know you're covering a lot of things.
- 38:20Speaker 10: I saw your latest article today, which, by the way,
- 38:23Speaker 10: before we move on, you did have an article regarding
- 38:26Speaker 10: Carla Wyatt and her problems before the lawsuit was even filed.
- 38:30Speaker 10: I'm assuming you'll eventually probably have a follow up once
- 38:33Speaker 10: we know regarding this lawsuit and what ends up happening
- 38:36Speaker 10: with the election, which, of course, could be a few
- 38:38Speaker 10: weeks from now.
- 38:40Speaker 9: That's right, Chris. And thank you for mentioning my social
- 38:43Speaker 9: media account on X, as we old folks call it, Twitter.
- 38:48Speaker 9: And a lot of times, you know, I don't always
- 38:50Speaker 9: have the bandwidth to write a lengthy article about every issue,
- 38:54Speaker 9: but I will do what we call a tweet thread.
- 38:56Speaker 9: And there's quite a lot that I posted last week
- 38:59Speaker 9: about Carla Wyatt in that situation. So I hope folks
- 39:03Speaker 9: will check that out.
- 39:04Speaker 10: Yeah, I hope people are following Holly on Twitter X,
- 39:08Speaker 10: as what I call it, because to me, it's eternally.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Twitter, at Holly S.
- 39:12Speaker 10: Hansen on Twitter X. Make sure you're following, because once again,
- 39:15Speaker 10: you do, you cover a lot of issues. And once again,
- 39:18Speaker 10: you post not only your colleagues, but also various other
- 39:21Speaker 10: news articles and things. So it's a really good follow,
- 39:24Speaker 10: at Holly S. Hansen on TwitterX. So to do that,
- 39:28Speaker 10: one of the articles that you did, I know, once again, unfortunately,
- 39:31Speaker 10: you can't write an article about everything all the time,
- 39:33Speaker 10: even though I wish you'd just quit slacking and do that.
- 39:37Speaker 10: But nonetheless, you actually do some work. And when you
- 39:41Speaker 10: do work, you actually do really good work. And one
- 39:43Speaker 10: of the latest articles, there's a– It's an interview, I guess,
- 39:47Speaker 10: with Speaker Burroughs, the Speaker of the House here in Texas,
- 39:50Speaker 10: the Texas House, will be investigating truthfulness of testimony from
- 39:54Speaker 10: the Travis County DA's office. Now, a lot of people
- 39:58Speaker 10: aren't informed enough, especially, I guess, in Harris County, about
- 40:01Speaker 10: what's going on in Travis County as well.
- 40:03Speaker 6: Let's talk a little bit about your latest article.
- 40:07Speaker 29: You bet.
- 40:08Speaker 9: Yes, I had an opportunity to talk to Texas House
- 40:11Speaker 9: Speaker Dustin Burroughs last Friday yesterday. And the reason we
- 40:15Speaker 9: have this conversation is because there was a recent hearing
- 40:18Speaker 9: in Austin about rogue district attorneys. And we don't see
- 40:23Speaker 9: as much of a problem in Harris County. I know
- 40:26Speaker 9: there are a lot of concerns about Harris County. But
- 40:29Speaker 9: Travis County has kind of been ground zero in the
- 40:32Speaker 9: state of Texas for seeing a district attorney's office that
- 40:36Speaker 9: routinely drops charges or reduces charges. During the hearing, we
- 40:41Speaker 9: heard about things like a murder suspect for which there
- 40:45Speaker 9: were eyewitnesses who claimed they saw this person shoot a
- 40:49Speaker 9: man in the back of the head. But the district
- 40:52Speaker 9: attorney there, a man by the name of Jose Garza,
- 40:56Speaker 9: dropped the charges. In another case, a murder suspect was
- 41:01Speaker 9: instead convicted of tampering with a corpse. And so there
- 41:05Speaker 9: was a lot of concerns about what's happening there. And
- 41:08Speaker 9: what was uncovered is that that Travis County District Attorney's
- 41:12Speaker 9: Office actually has a nondisclosure agreement with the far left
- 41:17Speaker 9: progressive criminal justice group. Interestingly enough, right next to Harris
- 41:22Speaker 9: County in Fort Bend County, that's District Attorney also seems
- 41:27Speaker 9: to have a relationship that we don't really know too
- 41:31Speaker 9: much about with this far-left progressive group. They're called the
- 41:36Speaker 9: Wren Collective. But what happened is they asked Jose Garza,
- 41:42Speaker 9: the Travis County District Attorney, to come to this hearing
- 41:45Speaker 9: and provide some answers. When he did not show up,
- 41:49Speaker 9: one of the state representatives suggested that they subpoena him.
- 41:54Speaker 9: And then he sent a representative to speak on his behalf.
- 41:58Speaker 9: But that representative was, as we might say, very evasive.
- 42:04Speaker 9: She failed to provide very many answers. Many of the
- 42:07Speaker 9: committee members were very frustrated. And not just Republican committee members.
- 42:13Speaker 9: We saw some Democrats get very irritated, including state rep
- 42:18Speaker 9: Richard Raymond. It kind of went viral because he talked
- 42:22Speaker 9: about his own county's prosecuting attorney failing to bring charges
- 42:27Speaker 9: against someone who had threatened the representative. And he said,
- 42:31Speaker 9: what do you do? Well, you carry this. And he
- 42:34Speaker 9: actually pulled out his handgun and displayed it there. from
- 42:39Speaker 9: the dais. But, you know, that's the reality for a
- 42:43Speaker 9: lot of people when you have a district attorney or
- 42:46Speaker 9: a prosecutor that will not pursue some of these repeat
- 42:50Speaker 9: violent offenders or people who seem like they really are
- 42:55Speaker 9: a danger to public safety. So Burroughs, I asked him about,
- 43:00Speaker 9: you know, this testimony from Travis County, and he said,
- 43:04Speaker 9: you know, there are a lot of concerns Some of
- 43:07Speaker 9: the evidence that came out after this hearing indicates that
- 43:10Speaker 9: this woman who came to talk to the committee maybe
- 43:15Speaker 9: wasn't completely truthful about the relationship with this progressive group
- 43:20Speaker 9: since she herself had been copied on emails and then
- 43:24Speaker 9: exchanged emails with this group. So, what the speaker told
- 43:30Speaker 9: me is that they will continue to investigate this issue.
- 43:34Speaker 9: and that they will expose whatever the truth is, and
- 43:39Speaker 9: they plan to do something about it, and that we
- 43:41Speaker 9: should expect some action in this next legislative session.
- 43:45Speaker 10: Well, I can imagine it will be a very busy
- 43:49Speaker 10: legislative session, and people, like I said, a lot of
- 43:52Speaker 10: the listeners of KSCV understand that Travis County is a very,
- 43:56Speaker 10: very liberal county, and that Harris County has, of course,
- 43:58Speaker 10: moved to the left in recent years, since about 2018,
- 44:01Speaker 10: and then.
- 44:03Speaker 6: Seems to be.
- 44:03Speaker 10: Heading that direction. But Harris County is a much larger
- 44:06Speaker 10: county than Travis County. So they're two different beasts, to
- 44:10Speaker 10: say the least. But I'm glad that you're covering this
- 44:13Speaker 10: and staying on it. And I really do appreciate all
- 44:15Speaker 10: the work that you do over it. I was joking earlier,
- 44:17Speaker 10: saying you don't work hard enough. But I know you
- 44:19Speaker 10: stay very busy over the Texania. The joke is the
- 44:22Speaker 10: craziness never ends, which is a good job security, I guess,
- 44:26Speaker 10: for us these days. But the things that you have
- 44:29Speaker 10: to cover and you cover frequently pretty well over at
- 44:32Speaker 10: the texan.news uh holly hansen always good to catch up
- 44:35Speaker 10: with you and of course you always cover it very
- 44:37Speaker 10: well on your your your twitter x site at holly
- 44:39Speaker 10: s hansen as well always good to catch up with
- 44:41Speaker 10: you thanks for coming on the program and keep up
- 44:43Speaker 10: the great work you.
- 44:45Speaker 9: Bet chris thanks for having me on and yes you're
- 44:48Speaker 9: right as long as people keep doing crazy things those
- 44:51Speaker 9: of us in media will continue to have uh job security.
- 44:56Speaker 6: Yeah, no kidding. It may not pay as well as
- 44:58Speaker 6: it should, but, boy, we got that kind of job
- 45:00Speaker 6: security is out there. So, all right, thanks again. Holly Hansen,
- 45:04Speaker 6: a reporter with the Texan News. If you want to
- 45:06Speaker 6: go check out.
- 45:06Speaker 10: Her work and the work of her colleagues, they do
- 45:09Speaker 10: a lot of good work over at the Texan.news. It's
- 45:12Speaker 10: a little different than the lamestream media. In other words,
- 45:14Speaker 10: it's not controlled by the leftist propaganda machine. So you
- 45:18Speaker 10: actually get fair stories and fair information, and you just
- 45:21Speaker 10: heard Holly. She's an actual journalist, and I always enjoy
- 45:24Speaker 10: catching up with Holly. And she is a definite follow
- 45:28Speaker 10: on social media, on Twitter X. If you're on Twitter,
- 45:31Speaker 10: Holly S Hanson is her handle. You need to follow
- 45:33Speaker 10: her on Twitter X. And then of course we got
- 45:36Speaker 10: to wrap up with the Van Halen. She's a big
- 45:38Speaker 10: Van Halen fan. I think Van Hagar is better, but
- 45:41Speaker 10: that's okay. We always enjoy our conversation. It's okay that
- 45:45Speaker 10: she's wrong on that one.
- 45:48Speaker 6: All right, we'll take a short break. We'll come back,
- 45:50Speaker 6: wrap up this first hour, and then start taking your
- 45:51Speaker 6: phone calls. How was your voting experience? Did you get
- 45:54Speaker 6: out and vote on early voting here on the day one?
- 45:57Speaker 6: Was there a long line? Was there a crowd?
- 46:00Speaker 10: Some of the Houston lines, they seem to be pretty packed.
- 46:03Speaker 10: Same with apparently Conroe, as we heard earlier.
- 46:05Speaker 2: 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back.

- 48:12Speaker 2: As a Texan, you deserve your court system to deliver
- 48:15Speaker 2: justice that is fair, understandable, and within reach. Chief Justice
- 48:20Speaker 2: Jimmy Blacklock says that starts with judges applying the law
- 48:23Speaker 2: as written so the rules don't change depending on who
- 48:25Speaker 2: walks into the courtroom. But fairness also means a court system.
- 48:29Speaker 6: That works for the people it serves.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Blacklock has called for reducing unnecessary delays and expenses, simplifying
- 48:36Speaker 2: court procedures, and making legal services more affordable. Because a
- 48:40Speaker 2: case should be decided on the facts and the law,
- 48:43Speaker 2: not on who can afford the longest fight. Texas courts
- 48:46Speaker 2: belong to the people. That means judges should be accountable,
- 48:50Speaker 2: rules should be clear, and the system should be accessible
- 48:53Speaker 2: to those who rely on it. For Blacklock, equal justice
- 48:56Speaker 2: means more than a principle. It means a court system
- 48:59Speaker 2: Texans can understand, trust, and afford to use. Chief Justice
- 49:03Speaker 2: Jimmy Blacklock.
- 49:04Speaker 7: Clear rules.

- 49:43Speaker 10: I remember when you could rock in America. Those were
- 49:47Speaker 10: good times. Man, we were going over, me and my
- 49:50Speaker 10: brother were going over some of the bands that we
- 49:52Speaker 10: got in the 70s between Journey and of course Van
- 49:54Speaker 10: Halen and Led Zeppelin and just these amazing bands.
- 49:59Speaker 6: And then some.
- 50:01Speaker 6: Industry people who control.
- 50:04Speaker 10: Things decided no no no no rock and roll isn't
- 50:06Speaker 10: good enough anymore no nobody likes that anymore we're just.
- 50:09Speaker 6: Going to move on yeah how about no it's still
- 50:17Speaker 6: good that's why this stuff still gets played even though
- 50:20Speaker 6: we don't have radio stations to play anymore what do
- 50:22Speaker 6: we have one classic rock station now in houston Ridiculous.
- 50:27Speaker 10: Anyway, welcome back to Chris X radio. You reached the
- 50:29Speaker 10: final segment of the first hour of the program. I
- 50:32Speaker 10: want to thank Holly Hanson for joining us from the
- 50:34Speaker 10: Texan dot news. You need to go read their work
- 50:37Speaker 10: over the Texan dot news. And of course, follow at
- 50:40Speaker 10: Holly S Hanson on Twitter X, make sure you're following Holly.
- 50:44Speaker 6: She does a great job.
- 50:45Speaker 10: She's definitely one of my regular go-tos on Twitter X,
- 50:48Speaker 10: because then if you're looking for those stories in Texas
- 50:51Speaker 10: or Harris County, She's a pretty good source because she's
- 50:54Speaker 10: not just tweeting her work. She does it from her
- 50:57Speaker 10: colleagues and from various other sources as well. So it's
- 51:01Speaker 10: totally worth it. And I always enjoy catching up with Holly.
- 51:03Speaker 6: Holly was great.
- 51:04Speaker 10: She came out to some of our pizza parties. She
- 51:07Speaker 10: didn't eat much pizza. So, man, she's a cheap.
- 51:09Speaker 6: Date, I guess. But no, she always does a great job.
- 51:14Speaker 6: So there you go. All right.
- 51:16Speaker 10: So has anyone got out early voting started today? here
- 51:20Speaker 10: on our Manic Monday edition. Anyone get out and vote.
- 51:23Speaker 10: It goes from today through October 30th, Monday through Saturday,
- 51:26Speaker 10: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday noon to 7 p.m. Cash,
- 51:30Speaker 10: you were telling me, so Gary called in while I
- 51:32Speaker 10: was talking with Holly from Egypt, Texas, which I know
- 51:35Speaker 10: where that is, believe it or not.
- 51:36Speaker 6: That's a real location.
- 51:38Speaker 10: And he tried to go vote in the Woodlands, but
- 51:41Speaker 10: he said it was over an hour wait?
- 51:43Speaker 24: That is correct.
- 51:44Speaker 6: Man, I got all that right. Man, I did good.
- 51:47Speaker 10: Okay, so the Woodlands was busy. Some places that I
- 51:50Speaker 10: guess that would be Montgomery County. Some places in Harris
- 51:53Speaker 10: County also, too, had long lines.
- 51:55Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 51:56Speaker 10: Apparently, it was very packed over in Champions. I heard
- 51:58Speaker 10: from somebody earlier in the day. So, yeah, you want

- 52:06Speaker 10: Don't forget, we'll be giving away some Wings Over Houston

- 52:23Speaker 10: hanging on mike welcome to sex radio.
- 52:25Speaker 32: Yeah chris yeah chris i was just at a meet
- 52:28Speaker 32: and greet with governor abbott out on the west side
- 52:30Speaker 32: of town and uh he was he was talking a
- 52:34Speaker 32: lot about the upcoming elections and how important it is
- 52:37Speaker 32: to get out the vote and um Just, you know,
- 52:41Speaker 32: getting pictures taken and just meeting and greeting voters. And
- 52:45Speaker 32: I would guess there was probably around 1,000 to 1,500
- 52:48Speaker 32: people there.
- 52:49Speaker 31: Wow.
- 52:50Speaker 6: Where was it at? Do you remember the name of
- 52:52Speaker 6: the location?
- 52:53Speaker 32: A place called Clay's Restaurant. Oh, I love Clay's. It's
- 52:59Speaker 32: on Clay Road. It's out past Eldridge Parkway, and it's
- 53:04Speaker 32: a ways out on Clay Road. It's about seven miles
- 53:06Speaker 32: west of Beltway 8 on Clay Road.
- 53:09Speaker 6: Yeah, if you're at Highway 6 and Clay Road, it's
- 53:12Speaker 6: probably just about a mile or two west of Highway
- 53:15Speaker 6: 6 right there on Clay Road. Thanks for the update, Mike.
- 53:17Speaker 6: I appreciate that. Man, that's a good turnout. That's a
- 53:21Speaker 6: good sign. So it looks like.
- 53:24Speaker 10: Governor Abbott has a decent lead, so we shall see.
- 53:28Speaker 10: But early voting kicked off today.
- 53:30Speaker 6: We'll talk to you guys here in hour number two.
- 53:32Speaker 6: Thanks for the update, Mike. We'll be right back. Don't
- 53:34Speaker 6: go anywhere.
- 53:36Speaker 23: AM 700 KSCV, Tomball, Houston, and streaming online at kscvradio.com.
- 53:42Speaker 6: The Voice of Texas.
- 53:45Speaker 29: News this hour from Town Hall. I'm Keith Peters in Washington.
- 53:51Speaker 29: President Trump is creating a division dedicated to women's health research.
- 53:55Speaker 29: He was joined by First Lady Melania Trump as he
- 53:58Speaker 29: signed an executive order establishing the new division within the
- 54:01Speaker 29: National Institutes of Health. First Lady Melania Trump says the
- 54:05Speaker 29: initiative will revolutionize the approach to women's health issues.
- 54:09Speaker 6: That will ensure a woman can live her life in
- 54:13Speaker 6: health and to the fullest.
- 54:15Speaker 29: The task force will promote women-focused medical research to help
- 54:19Speaker 29: develop better treatments. The founder of SpaceX is giving away
- 54:24Speaker 29: a big part of his company to benefit every child
- 54:27Speaker 29: in the country. Rory O'Neill reports.
- 54:29Speaker 27: Posting on X, Elon Musk said he would give one
- 54:32Speaker 27: share of SpaceX stock to every kid in America. There
- 54:36Speaker 27: are roughly 72 million people under 18 in the U.S.,
- 54:39Speaker 27: and at today's SpaceX valuation, the donation would be worth
- 54:43Speaker 27: well over $ 10 billion. No details were given in the
- 54:47Speaker 27: short post about how next year's stock distribution would work, but...
- 54:51Speaker 27: Musk did call it, quote, the first of many. I'm
- 54:54Speaker 27: Rory O'Neill.
- 54:55Speaker 29: Russian President Vladimir Putin is proposing a summit with President
- 54:59Speaker 29: Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping to discuss ending Moscow's
- 55:04Speaker 29: war in Ukraine. Correspondent Tammy Trujillo has the details.
- 55:08Speaker 33: The Wall Street Journal reports that Putin made the offer
- 55:10Speaker 33: to meet in November during a phone call with Trump
- 55:12Speaker 33: earlier this month. It's the same call that led Trump
- 55:15Speaker 33: to a deal to buy Russian diesel fuel. The summit
- 55:18Speaker 33: would seemingly exclude Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Trump reportedly hasn't
- 55:22Speaker 33: agreed to the summit. I'm Tammy Trujillo.
- 55:25Speaker 29: Flu season is starting early in the U.S. The CDC
- 55:29Speaker 29: says it's been climbing since early September with a 3.6
- 55:32Speaker 29: nationwide positivity rate for influenza. On Wall Street, the Dow
- 55:37Speaker 29: down by 36 points. More details at townhall.com.

- 56:46Speaker 28: Join me this weekend for the Backyard Bay radio program.
- 56:50Speaker 28: Now at our new time, Saturday mornings at 9 a.m.
- 56:54Speaker 28: right here on AM 700 KSEV The Voice.
- 56:59Speaker 20: This True Sand commentary is brought to you by Ability
- 57:02Speaker 20: Tree Experts.
- 57:03Speaker 4: Ability Tree Experts, Houston's leading tree care professionals. Call 281-441-4179.
- 57:10Speaker 4: From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 57:15Speaker 35: Most polling shows that Republicans are going to have a
- 57:18Speaker 35: tough time winning majorities in both houses of Congress in November.
- 57:22Speaker 35: Voters blame Trump for inflation and believe that many of
- 57:26Speaker 35: the necessities they need to purchase have become unaffordable.
- 57:30Speaker 24: Two out of three.
- 57:31Speaker 35: Voters don't believe that preventing Iran from building a nuclear
- 57:35Speaker 35: weapon is worth the higher gas prices that they are paying.
- 57:38Speaker 35: Voters never give a president credit for preventing bad things
- 57:42Speaker 35: like a nuclear war from happening. President Trump should realize
- 57:46Speaker 35: by now that the Islamic Republic will never agree to
- 57:49Speaker 35: a deal that results in a Trump win. The mullahs
- 57:53Speaker 35: read the polls and see the domestic political pressure to
- 57:56Speaker 35: end the war. It's part of their strategy. We should
- 57:58Speaker 35: stop chasing a bad deal. This does not mean that
- 58:02Speaker 35: we should resume unlimited airstrikes, but rather targeted decapitation strikes
- 58:07Speaker 35: against their leadership, as the Israelis used effectively.
- 58:12Speaker 24: If Iranian leaders won't cut a deal, then let's get
- 58:15Speaker 24: new ones. The real leverage we have against Iran is economic.
- 58:19Speaker 35: We destroyed what Iran took decades to build, their defense
- 58:23Speaker 35: industrial base used to manufacture drones, missiles, and nuclear weapons.
- 58:29Speaker 24: Inflation in Iran is running at 40%.
- 58:32Speaker 35: The blockade collapsed the revenue stream used by the Revolutionary
- 58:37Speaker 35: Guard Corps, their security services, and all the government infrastructure.
- 58:43Speaker 35: If our blockade is allowed to continue and not stopped
- 58:46Speaker 35: by Democrats... and a few lame-duck Republicans in Congress, we
- 58:51Speaker 35: can eliminate.
- 58:52Speaker 24: The mullahs' leverage over its people.
- 58:55Speaker 35: We don't need regime change to pressure them into a
- 58:58Speaker 35: better deal for us.
- 59:00Speaker 6: Just perseverance.
- 59:02Speaker 35: Intercepting what leaks out via Iran's shadow tanker fleet.
- 59:06Speaker 24: Will speed the process. The best guess is.
- 59:09Speaker 35: this pressure will take six months to show results, right
- 59:13Speaker 35: around the time of the elections.
- 59:15Speaker 24: I'm Ben Strewsand, and that's my view.
- 59:20Speaker 4: Ben Strewsand, only on AM700 KSEV.
- 59:26Speaker 21: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 59:29Speaker 21: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 59:32Speaker 21: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 59:35Speaker 21: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 59:38Speaker 21: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 59:42Speaker 21: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 59:47Speaker 21: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 59:50Speaker 21: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 59:53Speaker 21: completely blown over and tree limbs broken. causing terrible damage
- 59:56Speaker 21: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 1:00:00Speaker 21: sap will ooze, and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 1:00:03Speaker 21: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 1:00:10Speaker 21: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 1:00:13Speaker 21: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.
- 1:00:16Speaker 21: Visit their website at AbilityTrees.com. That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts,
- 1:00:24Speaker 21: Houston's leading tree care professional.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: KSEV, 700 AM.
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: We are going to launch. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
- 1:00:41Speaker 17: That's Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 1:00:49Speaker 22: What we need.
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: Right now is a clear message to the people of
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: this country. This message must be read in every newspaper,
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: heard on every radio, seen on every television. This message
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: must resound throughout the entire interlinked.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: And now, your host.
- 1:01:04Speaker 9: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: Chris X.
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: Good evening and welcome to the second hour of Chris
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: X Radio. Glad to have you here with us as.
- 1:01:30Speaker 10: We are rocking and rolling through your Manic Monday edition
- 1:01:32Speaker 10: of the program.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: With the side of early voting, early voting started today.
- 1:01:37Speaker 10: Some long lines around town here in Harris County, apparently
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: up in Conroe, apparently in the Woodlands. People are getting
- 1:01:44Speaker 10: out and voting, which is... Not completely uncommon, but here
- 1:01:48Speaker 10: on the.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: First day of early voting.
- 1:01:50Speaker 10: So a lot of early voters we've been seeing across
- 1:01:53Speaker 10: the country is a lot of Republicans had been turning
- 1:01:56Speaker 10: out to vote. I don't know here in Texas if
- 1:01:58Speaker 10: that is the case yet, but we shall see. I
- 1:02:01Speaker 10: know there's a big push by the Republican side to
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: get Republicans out vote because the Democrats, the Marxists, the communists,
- 1:02:08Speaker 10: they're always motivated. Oh, man, they are motivated to get
- 1:02:11Speaker 10: out and vote. So they're definitely going to show up
- 1:02:13Speaker 10: early voting. We shall see how the Republicans are going
- 1:02:17Speaker 10: to do here in Harris County, Montgomery County, Fort Bend,
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: some of those places. But we've heard from a few
- 1:02:23Speaker 10: of you guys that have gone out and voted. Did
- 1:02:26Speaker 10: you go early vote today or did you try?
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: How was it?
- 1:02:29Speaker 10: Was it crowded or did you get in and out
- 1:02:32Speaker 10: in no time at all? We had a caller, was
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: it Mike, in the first hour mentioned that he went
- 1:02:36Speaker 10: to Conroe and it was packed.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: It was like probably an hour wait.
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: And he ended up driving over to Willis, which is
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: Montgomery County, and voted in five minutes, was in and out,
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: no problem at all.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: So there are still some places. I did not go
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: early vote today. I asked Cash.
- 1:02:52Speaker 10: He didn't go early vote today. But he's thinking maybe Wednesday.
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: I might early vote on Wednesday. I sort of play
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: it by ear. That's one of the things I love
- 1:03:00Speaker 10: about early voting.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: I play it by ear.
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: And any time, you know, you've got basically 10 days
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: to go early vote, 11 days. So I may vote
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: any time between now and the 30th. which the 30th
- 1:03:11Speaker 10: is going to be busy at Wings Over Houston. By
- 1:03:14Speaker 10: the way, you've been hearing the ads. We do have
- 1:03:16Speaker 10: a pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston. We will
- 1:03:19Speaker 10: be giving away sometime today before the end of the show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: So keep listening for your chance to win those. We'll
- 1:03:24Speaker 10: tell you when. Now is not the time. By the way, Lucas,
- 1:03:27Speaker 10: I just saw apparently we had an extra ad, a
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: commercial that we didn't play during the break there. Do
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: you have time to go ahead and play it right
- 1:03:35Speaker 10: now so we can just go and get that knocked out?
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:37Speaker 16: Here we go. Loading it up.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: Three, two, one.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: What?
- 1:03:44Speaker 14: June, I'm so tired of filling out these New York
- 1:03:47Speaker 14: tax forms. Thank goodness we moved to Texas. Texas doesn't
- 1:03:51Speaker 14: have an income tax, so this is the last year
- 1:03:54Speaker 14: I have to file a New York.
- 1:03:55Speaker 36: Income tax form.
- 1:03:56Speaker 14: Those scum-sucking pigs can kiss my you-know-what.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: I'm out of here. Oh, yes, dear.
- 1:04:02Speaker 14: Texas is a great place to live, and they have
- 1:04:05Speaker 14: such nice-looking politicians, like that good-looking young man running for
- 1:04:09Speaker 14: the Senate who takes care of his grandfather.
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: It's literally a profession. Now hold on there, June.
- 1:04:13Speaker 14: That guy Tallarico wants Texans to.
- 1:04:16Speaker 13: Pay an income tax.
- 1:04:17Speaker 14: He's a Democrat just like the bozos we left up
- 1:04:21Speaker 14: there in New York City.
- 1:04:22Speaker 37: Oh my God, did you say Tallarico wants us to
- 1:04:26Speaker 37: pay a state income tax?
- 1:04:28Speaker 24: That's what I said, honey.
- 1:04:29Speaker 14: Tallarico wants us to pay a state income tax, and
- 1:04:34Speaker 14: he'd take away my guns to boot. Well, my Marjon.
- 1:04:37Speaker 33: Friends from around here are proud of the fact that
- 1:04:40Speaker 33: Texas doesn't have an income tax.
- 1:04:42Speaker 24: I thought that boy said he voted for tax cuts.
- 1:04:45Speaker 14: Well, he did, but he wants to take my money
- 1:04:48Speaker 14: back with an income tax.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 1:04:51Speaker 14: All my friends that moved to Texas say they don't
- 1:04:54Speaker 14: like the weather, but.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: They are sure glad.
- 1:04:56Speaker 24: That they don't have to screw with that crap anymore.
- 1:04:59Speaker 14: Well, we've got to get to the polls and vote
- 1:05:01Speaker 14: for Republicans for Texas.
- 1:05:02Speaker 24: We're running out of places we can afford. Honey, let's
- 1:05:06Speaker 24: go vote.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: Man, how long was that ad, Lucas?
- 1:05:11Speaker 16: A minute and a half.
- 1:05:13Speaker 10: Okay, it seemed like about an hour and a half,
- 1:05:15Speaker 10: but nonetheless, clearly voiced. Sounds like a political ad to me.
- 1:05:20Speaker 10: Clearly voiced by a professional voiceover person.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: It definitely wasn't that Ben Folds character. It wasn't him.
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: Or that Strew character.
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: May have heard this or at least some of it
- 1:05:34Speaker 10: on the Amigos on Friday. What's hilarious, as ridiculous as
- 1:05:39Speaker 10: that ad is, it actually drives home a pretty poignant point.
- 1:05:43Speaker 10: Imagine all these people coming over here from these other
- 1:05:46Speaker 10: places like, wait a minute, Texas is considering voting in
- 1:05:49Speaker 10: people that are running the areas that we left?
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: Really?
- 1:05:52Speaker 10: And it's hard to believe, but yeah, there are a
- 1:05:55Speaker 10: lot of people in Texas that don't believe, some either
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: don't believe or are just willfully obtuse because they just,
- 1:06:03Speaker 10: they're told to hate Republicans all day, every day, all
- 1:06:06Speaker 10: day long, and especially hate Trump because no kings and
- 1:06:09Speaker 10: we can't have kings and.
- 1:06:15Speaker 10: It's really, it's sort of insane. But I enjoyed that.
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: That was rather entertaining. Did you enjoy the ad, Lucas?
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: Did you like it?
- 1:06:24Speaker 17: Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:25Speaker 16: I mean, full cast, male, female, everything.
- 1:06:28Speaker 10: I mean, they brought in the whole crew for that one.
- 1:06:30Speaker 10: I mean, I wonder who the female character was who
- 1:06:33Speaker 10: did that voiceover part. It was clearly a real female.
- 1:06:36Speaker 16: Yeah, we all had to sign an NDA. Can't talk
- 1:06:39Speaker 16: about it.
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: Oh, man, I should have known. Made you guys sign that.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: I missed it. So wait, since I didn't sign the NDA,
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: I can talk about it. Okay.
- 1:06:47Speaker 10: I won't say whether she was hot or not, but
- 1:06:49Speaker 10: she comes from New York. New York chicks can't hang
- 1:06:52Speaker 10: with Texas women.
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: I'm sorry. That doesn't happen. Anyhow, that's a pretty good
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: ad for the first day of early voting. Did you
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: get out and vote today? How was it? Was it crowded?
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: Was it not too bad? Were you in and out
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: in no time at all?
- 1:07:06Speaker 10: That's one of the things I love about early voting
- 1:07:08Speaker 10: is generally you can get in and out. Apparently not
- 1:07:11Speaker 10: today in a lot of areas on the first day
- 1:07:14Speaker 10: of early voting.
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced.
- 1:07:22Speaker 10: It has endorsed Ken Paxton over James Talafrico ahead of
- 1:07:27Speaker 10: the 2026 midterm elections. By the way, I saw during
- 1:07:30Speaker 10: the break, apparently Bernie Sanders is here in Texas today.
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: He's here, but he's not campaigning with Talafrico. Hmm.
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: So meanwhile, Bernie Sanders, the socialist, he's a communist, is
- 1:07:44Speaker 10: in Texas today, but not taking the stage with James Talafrico.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: I just wonder. We've seen the polls. There's been a
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: couple of polls that have.
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: Come out here in the last week that showed Paxton
- 1:07:57Speaker 10: leading by a couple of points, still within the margin
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: of error. But most of the polls had Talafrico leading.
- 1:08:03Speaker 10: I really wonder if the internal polling that the candidates
- 1:08:10Speaker 10: get are saying the same thing.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: I really don't think they are. I just.
- 1:08:17Speaker 10: Because because Teller Frigo is not acting like a candidate
- 1:08:20Speaker 10: who's been leading now, of course, it's been how many
- 1:08:23Speaker 10: years since we've had a Democrat win a statewide race
- 1:08:25Speaker 10: here in in Texas has been a.
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: Very long time.
- 1:08:29Speaker 10: And I know he wants to win it, so he's
- 1:08:31Speaker 10: going to try to do everything he can. And Ken
- 1:08:33Speaker 10: Paxton has been a flawed candidate because they focused on
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: everything except the job that he has done as attorney general.
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: He is hands down been the best attorney general probably
- 1:08:44Speaker 10: in state history. I can't think of another one in
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: my lifetime that has been as good as him. Of course,
- 1:08:51Speaker 10: we haven't needed an attorney general to go to the
- 1:08:54Speaker 10: lengths that he has had to because the Democrat Party
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: has gone.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: Even more in more insane, even further and further to
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: the left.
- 1:09:05Speaker 10: So and then what's funny is watching them ignore Ken
- 1:09:09Speaker 10: Paxton's record, but then also ignore James Talafrico's record. A
- 1:09:14Speaker 10: guy who is literally running a campaign against everything that
- 1:09:17Speaker 10: he has advocated for, everything that he has voted for,
- 1:09:20Speaker 10: and everything that he has talked about over the last
- 1:09:22Speaker 10: eight years. They're trying to memory hole all of that
- 1:09:26Speaker 10: to get you to believe he's a moderate.
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: He's anything but.
- 1:09:30Speaker 10: But they also understand that there's a lot of women
- 1:09:32Speaker 10: out there. Now, you women who do listen to talk radio,
- 1:09:35Speaker 10: don't be offended. There's a lot of women that don't
- 1:09:37Speaker 10: listen to talk radio that are easily manipulated and will
- 1:09:40Speaker 10: vote for Democrats because they're fooled by the propaganda media.
- 1:09:45Speaker 10: That's what they consume. That's why they'll believe people like
- 1:09:49Speaker 10: Elon Musk is.
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: A horrible monster. He's a terrible human being.
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: He just came out and said he's going to give
- 1:09:56Speaker 10: a share of SpaceX to every child in America here
- 1:09:59Speaker 10: in 2027 and the next year. He wants to give
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: every child in the country a share in his company.
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: What a horrible monster. He said he'll be the first
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: of many, he said on Twitter X. He currently owns
- 1:10:17Speaker 10: approximately 4.8 billion shares in SpaceX. This is according to CNBC.
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: There are 72 million children under the age of 18
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: in the U.S., Handing a share to every one of
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: them would be, what, roughly $ 10. 5 billion worth of shares
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: based on the stock prices closing on Friday. I don't
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: know how this is going to affect the stock price or,
- 1:10:43Speaker 10: you know, what's going to happen. Elon Musk is the
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: world's first trillionaire. His net worth was estimated on Monday
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: to be $ 929.
- 1:10:49Speaker 28: 2 billion.
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: So the guy's losing money like crazy. He's over.
- 1:10:57Speaker 10: I mean, Lucas, could you live on $ 92. 92 billion?
- 1:11:03Speaker 16: I would give it my best shot.
- 1:11:07Speaker 10: I think I might be able to barely make it, sorry,
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: on $ 929.
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: 2 billion.
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: I undersold it to cash because I'm going to keep
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: the rest of.
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: It for myself.
- 1:11:17Speaker 16: Fair play.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: By the way, haven't talked much about this.
- 1:11:22Speaker 10: Katie Zachariah was removed from a role as press secretary
- 1:11:24Speaker 10: on Friday after five days on the job. Trump was
- 1:11:28Speaker 10: talking about it. He was like, Katie, do you even
- 1:11:31Speaker 10: need this job? Honestly, if it were you, I'd reconsider
- 1:11:35Speaker 10: because she was eviscerated by the media. Now, she had
- 1:11:39Speaker 10: a very lousy one and only press briefing on Tuesday.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: She was clearly not prepared. And just just she came off.
- 1:11:47Speaker 10: According to her, she was up all night the night
- 1:11:48Speaker 10: before and just didn't do well. She didn't and then
- 1:11:51Speaker 10: didn't seem to get really any better. And then so
- 1:11:55Speaker 10: she was basically removed and they will replace her with something.
- 1:11:59Speaker 10: But it's funny watching him do something the Democrat Party
- 1:12:02Speaker 10: never does. Removing this press secretary who was not up
- 1:12:07Speaker 10: to the job. And of course, the way he put it,
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: he was correct. He was saying, you know, hey, this is.
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: It's a tough job.
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: They're going to be at your throat every day, constantly,
- 1:12:15Speaker 10: all the time. And she wasn't quite ready for that.
- 1:12:19Speaker 10: I mean, the media is always going to go after
- 1:12:21Speaker 10: people like her. Especially when you're a blue-eyed murderer in
- 1:12:26Speaker 10: a size 5 dress. I didn't even know what that meant.
- 1:12:30Speaker 10: But I think I know what it means now. But
- 1:12:32Speaker 10: he did something the Democrats never do. They appoint inept
- 1:12:37Speaker 10: press secretaries like Kareem Jean-Claude Van Damme. Jean-Luc Picard, Jean-Pierre
- 1:12:45Speaker 10: as press secretary, and she was there forever, despite her
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: being completely unqualified for the job. Yet they go and
- 1:12:52Speaker 10: they try to convince everyone with their propaganda media that
- 1:12:56Speaker 10: she was great at it, and anyone who says anything
- 1:12:59Speaker 10: about it is simply racist, which wasn't the case. She
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: was inept, as you could possibly get, her and all
- 1:13:05Speaker 10: of the people who reside in Canada. But the propaganda
- 1:13:09Speaker 10: media is going to trash Trump over them removing this woman,
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: Katie Zachariah, only after on the job for a week.
- 1:13:17Speaker 10: She just wasn't up to it, which is sad. To
- 1:13:22Speaker 10: give you an idea on what the Republicans face now,
- 1:13:27Speaker 10: we're going to take a break, and when we come back,
- 1:13:29Speaker 10: we're going to talk about Senator Alyssa Slotkin. See, we
- 1:13:35Speaker 10: can rock in America so hard, we do it back-to-back, twice.
- 1:13:39Speaker 10: Alyssa Slotkin is a Democrat of Michigan. She was at
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: the University of Chicago and says she wants planned prosecutions
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: of Trump administration figures to deter young people from taking
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: jobs in the administration. In other words, she wants to
- 1:13:54Speaker 10: terrorize the young people of America to stay away from
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: Republicans so she can consolidate power because she's a good Democrat, communist, totalitarian,
- 1:14:04Speaker 10: and that's.
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: How they work.
- 1:14:06Speaker 10: And she's not the only one. We'll play her audio
- 1:14:08Speaker 10: when we come back. You're listening to Chris X Radio.

- 1:15:48Speaker 2: As a Texan, you deserve your court system to deliver
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: justice that is fair, understandable, and within reach. Chief Justice
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Jimmy Blacklock says that starts with judges applying the law
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: as written, so the rules don't change depending on who
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: walks into the courtroom. But fairness also means a court
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: system that works for the people it serves. Blacklock has
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: called for reducing unnecessary delays and expenses, simplifying court procedures,
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: and making legal services more affordable. Because a case should
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: be decided on the facts and the law, not on
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: who can afford the longest fight. Texas courts belong to
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: the people. That means judges should be accountable. Rules should
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: be clear and the system should be accessible to those
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: who rely on it. For Blacklock, equal justice means more
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: than a principle. It means a court system Texans can understand,
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: trust and afford to use. Chief Justice Jimmy Blacklock. Clear rules.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Accountable courts. Equal justice under law.
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: Political ad paid for by the Jimmy Blacklock campaign. Chris

- 1:17:33Speaker 4: And now, back to Chris X Radio.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Chris X Radio.
- 1:17:37Speaker 7: On The Voice of Texas.
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: This is back when U2 had some good music. Do
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: they still make albums? I don't know. Rock and roll
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: doesn't get played anymore.
- 1:17:55Speaker 10: But this is probably the last U2 album that I
- 1:17:58Speaker 10: really liked. And it was probably the only U2 album
- 1:18:02Speaker 10: that I ever liked, actually. Not that I hate U2,
- 1:18:06Speaker 10: but I was not a big fan. When I was
- 1:18:07Speaker 10: a kid, I remember my friend got there, like it
- 1:18:10Speaker 10: was the first album or whatever, and I called them.
- 1:18:12Speaker 10: I said, U2 is headache music. It gave me a
- 1:18:16Speaker 10: headache listening to it. And then they got more commercial
- 1:18:19Speaker 10: on Joshua Tree. And then Bullet the Blue Sky, great song. Boy,
- 1:18:24Speaker 10: with deer season kicking off here in a couple of weeks,
- 1:18:26Speaker 10: there's going to be a lot of bullets over the
- 1:18:28Speaker 10: blue skies of Texas.
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: Flying up in the hill country.
- 1:18:31Speaker 10: What's so funny, all my friends who are hunters, they've
- 1:18:35Speaker 10: all got buck fever, man.
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: They can't stand it.
- 1:18:38Speaker 10: They're already posting about hunt season and pictures of bucks
- 1:18:41Speaker 10: on their game cams, and they're all ready to go
- 1:18:44Speaker 10: deer hunting. It's so funny because, like I said, you
- 1:18:47Speaker 10: guys know I go up to the Hill Country. I
- 1:18:49Speaker 10: like going up. during deer season at that time, basically.
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: Not necessarily during deer season, but I like going up
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: when it's fall weather, when it's cool, when it's cold.
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: That's hunting season. I don't hunt deer.
- 1:19:00Speaker 10: I haven't hunted them in a long time. But I
- 1:19:03Speaker 10: do hunt the hogs, and there are plenty of those. Oh,
- 1:19:05Speaker 10: my God, it was a hog convention at my feeder
- 1:19:08Speaker 10: the other night. So watching out, there's some big ones too,
- 1:19:12Speaker 10: so it's time to terrorize some of those hogs and
- 1:19:14Speaker 10: get them to eliminate, try to cut down some of
- 1:19:17Speaker 10: that population. They just cause so much damage. Anyway, we'll
- 1:19:22Speaker 10: get back up there. Welcome back to Chris X Radio.
- 1:19:24Speaker 10: Early voting has begun today. It'll go through the 30th,
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, Sunday noon
- 1:19:31Speaker 10: to 7. Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd, 7 a.m.
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: To 7 p.m.
- 1:19:37Speaker 10: Are you an Election Day voter? Did you go out
- 1:19:39Speaker 10: and vote today? If you did, how was it? Was
- 1:19:41Speaker 10: it crowded or did you get in and out? Some
- 1:19:43Speaker 10: of the voting locations, apparently there's some pretty long lines
- 1:19:46Speaker 10: in Conroe, in the Woodlands, some places in Harris County.
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: But I also heard there were some other places. What
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: was it?
- 1:19:53Speaker 10: Willis was five minutes in and out. So we've heard
- 1:19:57Speaker 10: from a few of you guys.
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: If you want to weigh in, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:20:04Speaker 10: Let's go to the phones, pick up with Chris, listening
- 1:20:06Speaker 10: in spring. Chris, thank you for hanging on. Welcome to
- 1:20:08Speaker 10: Chris X Radio.
- 1:20:11Speaker 39: Yeah, buddy, you made an outstanding point, as usual. We
- 1:20:14Speaker 39: had to put up with Kareem for two and a
- 1:20:17Speaker 39: half years, walking into that room with a binder that
- 1:20:20Speaker 39: had about 1,500 pages of nothing, butchering the English language
- 1:20:25Speaker 39: every day. And they made us sit there and you
- 1:20:30Speaker 39: know it was a bad look, but they want to
- 1:20:33Speaker 39: disrupt nature and disrupt this country, Chris. And you just
- 1:20:36Speaker 39: said it. We have to put up with that incompetency
- 1:20:39Speaker 39: for two and a half years because Joe Biden is
- 1:20:42Speaker 39: a moron. Thank you, buddy.
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: Thank you for the call. Appreciate it.
- 1:20:46Speaker 10: And, yeah, talk about calling it the way he sees it.
- 1:20:49Speaker 10: Chris called in last week, and after Katie Zachariah's first
- 1:20:53Speaker 10: press conference, he said it was.
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: A bad look.
- 1:20:56Speaker 10: She came off very nervous.
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: It was a very shaky start.
- 1:21:01Speaker 10: Didn't look good. It ended up being her only press briefing.
- 1:21:03Speaker 10: That is the difference, the point that I was making.
- 1:21:06Speaker 10: And thank you, Chris. I always appreciate your calls and
- 1:21:08Speaker 10: your points. Is that the Democrats literally did that, what,
- 1:21:11Speaker 10: two and a half years with Kareem Jean-Luc Pierre.
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: She was absolutely awful.
- 1:21:16Speaker 10: And his point that she had this binder with like 1,500 pages,
- 1:21:20Speaker 10: I swear it was 1,500 pages of probably just drivel
- 1:21:24Speaker 10: and drawings and things. There had to be no information
- 1:21:28Speaker 10: on there because she had no information. She was always lost.
- 1:21:32Speaker 10: You talk about her butchering the English language. How do
- 1:21:34Speaker 10: you think the people who live in Canada feel?
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: She was so bad at.
- 1:21:42Speaker 10: Her job, she was absolutely abysmal. Once again, I didn't
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: like the other, what was the redhead?
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: I can't remember her name.
- 1:21:52Speaker 10: She's a pundit on one of those left-wing networks that
- 1:21:55Speaker 10: somehow pretends they're not propaganda, but she is definitely a propagandist.
- 1:21:59Speaker 10: Jen Psaki was her name. Jen Psaki, the propagandist. She
- 1:22:03Speaker 10: was competent. She's also a Democrat dirtbag evil monster. But
- 1:22:08Speaker 10: she was competent enough And then they replaced her when
- 1:22:11Speaker 10: she left with Kareem Jean-Luc Picard Van Damme Pierre. She
- 1:22:17Speaker 10: was so terrible at the job and she stayed there forever.
- 1:22:20Speaker 10: And as he said, that was the Biden administration. Incompetence
- 1:22:24Speaker 10: on top of incompetence. Trump got rid of, well, he
- 1:22:29Speaker 10: eliminated Ms. Zachariah within five days. One press briefing, that's it.
- 1:22:34Speaker 10: He will replace her with somebody who's more competent, somebody
- 1:22:36Speaker 10: who's more prepared. Because the other thing, too, is the press,
- 1:22:39Speaker 10: they handle the Kareem Piers and the dirtbags on the left,
- 1:22:44Speaker 10: the Joe Bidens, with kid gloves.
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: They did it for the entire four.
- 1:22:47Speaker 10: Years where they are vultures from anyone regarding the Trump administration.
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: They got their talking points, they got their hit points,
- 1:22:56Speaker 10: and they go in and try to take down anyone
- 1:22:58Speaker 10: that they can. And they got a scalp, and it
- 1:23:01Speaker 10: was Katie Zachariah. As I mentioned, what was it? A
- 1:23:05Speaker 10: blue-eyed murder in a size 5 dress? I don't know
- 1:23:07Speaker 10: what size her dress is. I love that line because
- 1:23:10Speaker 10: I didn't know that was an old, apparently 50s line.
- 1:23:14Speaker 10: The dame was blue-eyed murder in a size 5 dress.
- 1:23:19Speaker 10: And it's a great line from a song. I won't
- 1:23:21Speaker 10: tell you which song, see if you guys know it.
- 1:23:23Speaker 10: All right, let's get one more call here before we
- 1:23:24Speaker 10: have to break. 281-558-KSEV. Anybody getting out and voting today?
- 1:23:29Speaker 10: What are you seeing?
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: Long lines? What's going on?
- 1:23:32Speaker 10: Let's catch up with Frederick listening in Richmond. Frederick, thank
- 1:23:35Speaker 10: you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:23:38Speaker 13: Always a joy to call you, Chris. Taking all four
- 1:23:42Speaker 13: of the Sundermans to vote today here in Fort Bend County. But,
- 1:23:47Speaker 13: you know, there are always some stray districts. And we
- 1:23:53Speaker 13: looked at the Fort Bend appraisal district, and we found
- 1:23:59Speaker 13: two CARE-supported candidates. So if you're in Fort Bend and
- 1:24:06Speaker 13: you're going to go vote, make sure you check down
- 1:24:09Speaker 13: ballot and be informed at who CARE is supporting in
- 1:24:14Speaker 13: Fort Bend County.
- 1:24:17Speaker 10: You know, Frederick, let me ask you, do they happen
- 1:24:19Speaker 10: to have a D next to their name on the ballot?
- 1:24:23Speaker 13: No, see, when it's a nonpartisan race, like for Fort
- 1:24:27Speaker 13: Penn Appraisal District, they don't have to have a D
- 1:24:30Speaker 13: or an R beside their names. You have to research them.
- 1:24:34Speaker 13: That's true. Now, Chad, GBT can be wrong, but that's
- 1:24:39Speaker 13: what we found, two CARE-supported candidates. And I think I
- 1:24:47Speaker 13: can't state for a fact that I recommend people do
- 1:24:50Speaker 13: their research.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: Boy, I couldn't agree anymore. Thank you for the call, Frederick.
- 1:24:55Speaker 10: And very nice bringing out all four of the Fredericks.
- 1:25:00Speaker 10: We'll mention the last name again. I don't want anybody
- 1:25:03Speaker 10: coming after you guys while you're trying to vote. But, yeah,
- 1:25:06Speaker 10: all of the Fredericks and Frederick Juniors or Mrs. Frederick
- 1:25:09Speaker 10: and get the whole family out.
- 1:25:11Speaker 6: Hopefully they're all betting ours today. They're all voting ours.
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: That's what we need. All right, you're listening to Chris
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: X Radio. We'll take a break. We've got two segments remaining, 281-558-KSV.
- 1:25:25Speaker 10: When we come back, I'll go ahead and I'll play
- 1:25:27Speaker 10: the Alyssa Slotkin audio, let you hear what the Democrats
- 1:25:30Speaker 10: are talking about now. They're talking about arresting Republicans, get
- 1:25:33Speaker 10: rid of them, to make sure that nobody wants to
- 1:25:37Speaker 10: ever consider being a Republican. I would say that's a dirtbag, totalitarian, communist,
- 1:25:45Speaker 10: in other words, a Democrat move.
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: She's not the only one. We'll be right back.
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: Chris X Radio.
- 1:25:56Speaker 15: Roland, we're getting a lot of calls from people getting
- 1:25:59Speaker 15: strange bids from roofing contractors lately.
- 1:26:02Speaker 40: They call Tejas Roofing because you tell them the truth.
- 1:26:04Speaker 40: They know you shoot straight with them, whether it's a
- 1:26:06Speaker 40: question about materials, workmanship.
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: Or pricing.
- 1:26:08Speaker 15: We love answering questions and providing that peace of mind
- 1:26:12Speaker 15: people need to move forward on their roofing project. Call

- 1:26:23Speaker 40: we know that Tejas Roofing is the best company for
- 1:26:25Speaker 40: most jobs.

- 1:26:29Speaker 15: the best in the business.
- 1:26:30Speaker 40: Your new roof will only be as good as the
- 1:26:32Speaker 40: crew that installs it.
- 1:26:33Speaker 15: If you get a bid that doesn't look right, call

- 1:26:57Speaker 41: A Soros-funded Democrat district attorney. More than 900 people charged
- 1:27:03Speaker 41: with murder, free on bond. Democrat judges who don't care
- 1:27:07Speaker 41: about your safety. We must stop the insanity in Harris County,
- 1:27:12Speaker 41: and 495th Criminal District Court Judge Lori D'Angelo is working
- 1:27:17Speaker 41: hard to do just that and keep our families safe.
- 1:27:20Speaker 41: Twice appointed by Governor Greg Abbott, Republican Judge Lori D'Angelo
- 1:27:25Speaker 41: needs your vote to continue to fight for us by
- 1:27:28Speaker 41: holding criminals accountable. Unlike her Democrat opponent, Judge DeAngelo's 20
- 1:27:34Speaker 41: years of experience as a felony prosecutor in the Harris
- 1:27:37Speaker 41: County District Attorney's Office has enabled her to run an efficient, fair, prepared,
- 1:27:43Speaker 41: and principled court. Vote as if your life depends on it.
- 1:27:47Speaker 41: Vote for tough-on-crime Republican Judge Lori DeAngelo. Political advertising paid
- 1:27:53Speaker 41: for by the Lori DeAngelo Campaign.
- 1:27:55Speaker 26: Hi, y'all. It's Kathy from Baker Mortgage. You know, with
- 1:27:58Speaker 26: all the scary stuff we've been through, it's still true
- 1:28:01Speaker 26: that timing is everything and the time to buy is now.
- 1:28:04Speaker 26: But don't go looking without a solid pre-approval in hand.
- 1:28:07Speaker 26: And this includes an application and a detailed discussion about
- 1:28:11Speaker 26: property taxes. If you didn't have the talk, You know,
- 1:28:14Speaker 26: about property taxes, you really don't know what you're pre-approved for.
- 1:28:18Speaker 26: That should make you wonder what else they may have
- 1:28:20Speaker 26: left out. Mortgages are personal. Let's face it, we're dealing
- 1:28:23Speaker 26: with your home and your money, and it doesn't get
- 1:28:25Speaker 26: much more personal than that. When it's the largest transaction
- 1:28:29Speaker 26: that most people will ever be involved in, imagine having
- 1:28:32Speaker 26: someone on your side looking out after you. What a concept.
- 1:28:35Speaker 26: We audit your closing statement to make sure you're not
- 1:28:38Speaker 26: paying for things that you're not supposed to. Do you
- 1:28:40Speaker 26: think your big bank's going to do that? Probably not.
- 1:28:43Speaker 26: For all of your mortgage needs, call us at Baker Mortgage.
- 1:28:46Speaker 26: I promise you'll be glad you did. We're at 281-313-MOVE

- 1:29:12Speaker 11: Thursday will also be warm with plenty of sunshine and

- 1:29:32Speaker 4: Fake news hates us fake news hates.
- 1:29:35Speaker 17: Us chris x radio chris x.
- 1:29:37Speaker 42: Radio you know the hate is mutual fake news hates
- 1:29:47Speaker 42: us but i hate fake news.
- 1:29:51Speaker 10: All right welcome back to chris x radio It's time
- 1:29:53Speaker 10: to talk about Alyssa Slotkin and what sort of a
- 1:29:56Speaker 10: dirtbag she is. But before we do, I guess it's
- 1:29:59Speaker 10: time to go ahead and let's give away a pair
- 1:30:01Speaker 10: of tickets to Wings Over Houston. All right, this is
- 1:30:06Speaker 10: a pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston. You'll have
- 1:30:07Speaker 10: to have your email address, and Luke Cash will take
- 1:30:10Speaker 10: care of that. Hey, Cash, what number caller do we
- 1:30:12Speaker 10: want to give a pair of tickets to Wings Over
- 1:30:14Speaker 10: Houston to?
- 1:30:15Speaker 16: I think we're going to go to the fourth. Fourth caller.
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: Fourth caller.
- 1:30:18Speaker 10: Fourth caller right now will win a pair of tickets
- 1:30:21Speaker 10: to Wings Over Houston coming up on, what is it,
- 1:30:24Speaker 10: Halloween weekend. So if you want to win, now's your
- 1:30:27Speaker 10: chance to call. The fourth caller will win those tickets. 281-558-KSEV.
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: 281-558-5738.
- 1:30:36Speaker 10: The fourth caller will win a pair of tickets to
- 1:30:39Speaker 10: Wings Over Houston. Cash will get your info, get everything
- 1:30:42Speaker 10: lined up, and of course will let me know once
- 1:30:44Speaker 10: we've had a winner. So, If you're going to call,
- 1:30:46Speaker 10: you better hurry.
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: 2-8-1-5-5-8. One down. Do we already got a winner?
- 1:30:53Speaker 17: No, no.
- 1:30:54Speaker 16: One caller in. We need three more.
- 1:30:56Speaker 10: Okay, all right. If you're listening, you want tickets. The
- 1:31:00Speaker 10: tickets are expensive now, too. Which, everything's expensive, but... Man,
- 1:31:05Speaker 10: I don't even know how much they are. All right,
- 1:31:08Speaker 10: but if you want to call right now, fourth caller, 281-558-KSCV. Remember,
- 1:31:12Speaker 10: there's a bit of a delay. So that first caller
- 1:31:15Speaker 10: was in quick. All right, Cash, whenever you get your
- 1:31:18Speaker 10: fourth caller, feel free to put it on the screen
- 1:31:20Speaker 10: so we'll know, and I can tell everyone to stop
- 1:31:23Speaker 10: calling at that point.
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: But 281-558-KSCV. So fourth caller.
- 1:31:28Speaker 10: Will win wings over Houston tickets. And if we don't
- 1:31:32Speaker 10: get four calls with it, I'm just going to take
- 1:31:33Speaker 10: them for myself. May even give them to Cash.
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: I don't know. It's possible.
- 1:31:38Speaker 10: But anyhow, I do believe they're going to go like hotcakes.
- 1:31:44Speaker 10: We'll have another couple of pairs to give away later
- 1:31:47Speaker 10: on in the week. So we'll be giving those away.
- 1:31:49Speaker 10: But once again, fourth caller right now. And then Cash
- 1:31:52Speaker 10: has to get all their information. But 281-558-KSEV if you
- 1:31:57Speaker 10: want to win a pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston.
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: Yay! I may go fly with Gregster again. I talked
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: to him. Was it last week?
- 1:32:06Speaker 10: And he said we may go fly.
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: Was it the last time? I don't think we flew
- 1:32:10Speaker 6: last year. I think the weather was bad. I don't remember.
- 1:32:14Speaker 10: But we go on that Friday, that media day ahead
- 1:32:16Speaker 10: of time, and they take us up in a plane
- 1:32:18Speaker 10: and fly us around the San Jacinto Monument and over
- 1:32:21Speaker 10: the Fred Hartman Bridge.
- 1:32:23Speaker 6: Now, that's always fun.
- 1:32:24Speaker 10: It's kind of cool. I told you a couple years ago,
- 1:32:28Speaker 10: they made Greg sit in a plane without a seat
- 1:32:29Speaker 10: in it. But I was in the plane with the smoke.
- 1:32:34Speaker 10: It was the ones from the Torah, Torah, Torah. So
- 1:32:37Speaker 10: at a certain point, the smoke was coming out of
- 1:32:38Speaker 10: the plane. I'm like, is this normal? Is this supposed
- 1:32:40Speaker 10: to be happening?
- 1:32:41Speaker 6: He's like, yeah, it's part of the bit. I was like, oh,
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: thank God. Thank God it was just that. So dear Lord.
- 1:32:50Speaker 10: But all right, I'm assuming we have a winner by now, Cash,
- 1:32:54Speaker 10: unless our phones are broke. So he'll put that information
- 1:32:59Speaker 10: up and then I'll let everybody know. OK, so because
- 1:33:02Speaker 10: we do have time and since I won't be soliciting
- 1:33:05Speaker 10: your phone calls anymore now that we've once we get
- 1:33:07Speaker 10: a winner or that we already got one. Senator Alyssa Slotkin,
- 1:33:11Speaker 10: a Democrat out of Michigan, said during an appearance at
- 1:33:15Speaker 10: the University of Chicago that she wants planned prosecution of
- 1:33:20Speaker 10: the Trump administration figures to deter young people from taking
- 1:33:24Speaker 10: jobs in the administration. The dirtbag Michigan Democrat made the
- 1:33:30Speaker 10: remarks at the Chicago University Institute of Politics during a
- 1:33:35Speaker 10: live recording of Vox's America Actually podcast, a podcast I've
- 1:33:41Speaker 10: never seen and don't know anything about. A clip of
- 1:33:43Speaker 10: the exchange circulated on Twitter X. Slotkin said she wants
- 1:33:48Speaker 10: to examine what she called signature cases and target not
- 1:33:52Speaker 10: only the president, but officials around him.
- 1:33:56Speaker 6: Let's take a listen. This is Alyssa Slotkin being the
- 1:34:01Speaker 6: totalitarian dirtbag communist that we say they are while accusing
- 1:34:06Speaker 6: the other side of being dirtbag communists.
- 1:34:09Speaker 43: So that's what I'm saying. I want to look at
- 1:34:11Speaker 43: these signature cases and not just focus on the president,
- 1:34:15Speaker 43: but on the people who enabled him. I want young
- 1:34:18Speaker 43: people coming out of school to say, should I go
- 1:34:20Speaker 43: work for the Trump administration? Like, that sounds fun. I
- 1:34:23Speaker 43: might get an opportunity. I want them to be like, Lord,
- 1:34:26Speaker 43: that might be buying myself a ton of problems that
- 1:34:29Speaker 43: I don't want. And so let me avoid participating in that.
- 1:34:33Speaker 43: I want that deterrence message.
- 1:34:39Speaker 22: Hmm.
- 1:34:41Speaker 10: Is that where we are in America, folks? Is that
- 1:34:44Speaker 10: where we are now? Okay, by the way, we do
- 1:34:46Speaker 10: have a winner. Greg is the winner. So, Greg, enjoy
- 1:34:49Speaker 10: your tickets to Wings Over Houston. I hope you have
- 1:34:51Speaker 10: a great time.
- 1:34:52Speaker 6: Have fun.
- 1:34:52Speaker 10: I don't know what side of town Greg was calling from,
- 1:34:56Speaker 10: but Cash could let me know. But congratulations to our winner, Greg.
- 1:35:00Speaker 6: Have a great time. We'll have a couple more tickets,
- 1:35:02Speaker 6: a couple more.
- 1:35:04Speaker 10: Pairs of tickets that we'll be giving away later this
- 1:35:05Speaker 10: week as Wings Over Houston will be coming up next week.
- 1:35:10Speaker 10: Not this coming weekend, but the following. So he called
- 1:35:13Speaker 10: from Pearland. So Greg out in Pearland.
- 1:35:16Speaker 31: All right.
- 1:35:16Speaker 10: Well, hopefully you have a great time at the show.
- 1:35:19Speaker 10: And Wings Over Houston is a lot of fun. Like
- 1:35:21Speaker 10: I said, I don't know if you've ever been, but
- 1:35:23Speaker 10: it's very cool.
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: Now, the rest of you guys.
- 1:35:25Speaker 10: Generally tend not to get to go fly in the plane,
- 1:35:28Speaker 10: but I've always enjoyed that part of it.
- 1:35:31Speaker 6: So anyway, okay, let me get back to this. Since
- 1:35:33Speaker 6: we have a winner, you can stop calling to win
- 1:35:35Speaker 6: the tickets.
- 1:35:36Speaker 10: If you actually just want to call in now, to
- 1:35:39Speaker 10: comment on what we're talking about, 281-558-KSEV. But no more.
- 1:35:45Speaker 10: We've given the tickets away. We'll give more away later
- 1:35:47Speaker 10: in the week, so make sure you keep listening. So
- 1:35:50Speaker 10: the account that posted the video of Alyssa Slotkin saying
- 1:35:54Speaker 10: we need to imprison, prosecute Trump officials to deter anyone
- 1:36:00Speaker 10: from wanting to be a Republican, basically, anyone from getting
- 1:36:02Speaker 10: involved on that side, shows such a blatant, power-hungry, mindset
- 1:36:09Speaker 10: that everyone should be aware of. The ad thinker Chicago
- 1:36:13Speaker 10: claimed the Senator hopes planned prosecutions will frighten young conservatives
- 1:36:17Speaker 10: away from politics altogether. In the September 30th speech to
- 1:36:24Speaker 10: the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Slotkin argued Democrats should
- 1:36:29Speaker 10: pursue prosecutions of Trump officials if they retake Congress, comparing
- 1:36:34Speaker 10: the effort to post-authoritarian cleanups in Europe. In Poland, they
- 1:36:41Speaker 10: called the plan Iron Broom, cleaning the place up, Slotkin said.
- 1:36:46Speaker 10: The goal here is to have a list of signature
- 1:36:48Speaker 10: cases that go after some of the most obvious and
- 1:36:51Speaker 10: harmful abuses of taxpayer dollars. Notice she's blaming the other
- 1:36:56Speaker 10: side for the things that Democrats do most often. In
- 1:37:01Speaker 10: that speech, the former CIA officer named Homeland Security Secretary
- 1:37:06Speaker 10: Kristi Noem, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and U.S. Attorney Jeanine
- 1:37:12Speaker 10: Pirro as figures, she argued, should be held accountable, telling
- 1:37:17Speaker 10: the audience that misusing taxpayer money can land you a
- 1:37:21Speaker 10: sentence of up to 20 years in prison. She's a
- 1:37:28Speaker 10: good Democrat, communist, totalitarian woman. And she's not the only one.
- 1:37:35Speaker 10: But I'm not the only one. You guys remember that song?
- 1:37:40Speaker 10: That is today's Democrat Party. That is what they want
- 1:37:44Speaker 10: to do. They prosecute Republicans in the public eye every
- 1:37:47Speaker 10: day with the propaganda media.
- 1:37:49Speaker 6: They do that every single day.
- 1:37:51Speaker 10: But they want to actually prosecute them to make sure
- 1:37:54Speaker 10: that no one ever wants to run as Republicans again.
- 1:37:57Speaker 10: Can anyone other than me see how this is a
- 1:38:00Speaker 10: bad idea? Can anyone other than me, am I the
- 1:38:03Speaker 10: only one left in the world that thinks, hey, this
- 1:38:06Speaker 10: is insane?
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: This leads to communist totalitarianism. This is the party of
- 1:38:13Speaker 6: Democrats now. That's who's running the party. They've embraced radical Islam.
- 1:38:24Speaker 10: They've embraced, I don't know, Molotov cocktail throwing protesters at
- 1:38:30Speaker 10: fiery but mostly peaceful protests they've got the propaganda at
- 1:38:35Speaker 10: their behest and now they want to start arresting people
- 1:38:38Speaker 10: who serve in the administration and for claims that any
- 1:38:44Speaker 10: time a Democrat, you saw what happened last week, they screamed,
- 1:38:48Speaker 10: the Democrats from the rooftops, you can't raid Ilhan Omar's home.
- 1:38:54Speaker 10: Ilhan Omar is corrupt on so many different levels, it's
- 1:38:57Speaker 10: not even funny. And they all know it, and they
- 1:39:00Speaker 10: don't care. They will scream governmental overreach, weaponization of the
- 1:39:06Speaker 10: agencies to go after Elon Musk, their side, when blatant
- 1:39:11Speaker 10: malfeasance occurs on a regular basis. From the looks of things,
- 1:39:18Speaker 10: Elon Omar has committed immigration fraud on multiple levels. From
- 1:39:22Speaker 10: the looks of things, she has also been involved in
- 1:39:25Speaker 10: financial fraud, too, regarding the massive amount of hundreds of millions,
- 1:39:31Speaker 10: if not billions of dollars of Somali fraud in Minnesota.
- 1:39:38Speaker 10: She has been over backwards to accommodate that portion of
- 1:39:41Speaker 10: the electorate because that's what Democrats do. They circle the wagons,
- 1:39:47Speaker 10: if you will. And they'll take the other side, put
- 1:39:53Speaker 10: them on a pike, and say, look, this is corruption.
- 1:39:58Speaker 6: Accuse the other side.
- 1:39:59Speaker 10: They're always on offense, always accusing the other side of
- 1:40:02Speaker 10: doing the things that they do on a regular basis.
- 1:40:04Speaker 10: And any attempt to look at their malfeasance, any attempt
- 1:40:08Speaker 10: to look at what they're doing, is met with utter
- 1:40:12Speaker 10: derision from not only their propaganda allies, but their pals
- 1:40:17Speaker 10: in the Democrat Party. The dirtbags who lie, you know,
- 1:40:20Speaker 10: like Jamie Raskin, like Adam Schiff for brains, that guy,
- 1:40:26Speaker 10: they lied about Russia collusion over and over and over again.
- 1:40:30Speaker 10: They lie constantly. And then when it's over, they're just like, oh, whatever.
- 1:40:33Speaker 10: Harry Reid ring a bell, lied about Mitt Romney, and
- 1:40:36Speaker 10: then it was over. It's like, well, he didn't win,
- 1:40:37Speaker 10: did he?
- 1:40:38Speaker 6: It was worth it.
- 1:40:40Speaker 10: When you get to that point in your republic, because
- 1:40:43Speaker 10: believe it or not, we're actually still a republic. When
- 1:40:45Speaker 10: you get to that point in the republic, that's when
- 1:40:48Speaker 10: things are bad. The other side went from not only
- 1:40:51Speaker 10: lying about you, but now they're going to prosecute you
- 1:40:54Speaker 10: for those lies, a.k.a.
- 1:40:56Speaker 6: What they did to Trump.
- 1:40:58Speaker 10: They will take laws and change the laws and then sunset.
- 1:41:03Speaker 6: It so they can't be caught in their own traps.
- 1:41:08Speaker 6: You know, they.
- 1:41:08Speaker 10: Changed the statute of limitations to go after Donald Trump
- 1:41:12Speaker 10: because they knew all they had to do was get
- 1:41:14Speaker 10: a sympathetic jury who would vote for a woman who
- 1:41:17Speaker 10: was never behind closed doors with Donald Trump.
- 1:41:19Speaker 6: And then not only did they convict Donald Trump of
- 1:41:22Speaker 6: a sexual abuse, not rape. He was never convicted of rape.
- 1:41:25Speaker 10: He never raped a woman, even though she said he did,
- 1:41:27Speaker 10: and then said rape was somehow kind of sexy and
- 1:41:30Speaker 10: then claimed she was wearing a dress that she didn't own.
- 1:41:32Speaker 6: At the time.
- 1:41:32Speaker 10: Her story didn't add up. It's never added up. It
- 1:41:35Speaker 10: was absolutely ridiculous, the conviction they got. And then they
- 1:41:39Speaker 10: turned right around and convicted Trump for, what was it,
- 1:41:41Speaker 10: $ 90 million for defaming her because he said she was
- 1:41:44Speaker 10: a crazy woman who was going after him, which from
- 1:41:47Speaker 10: all accounts, he was 100% correct. But when you have
- 1:41:52Speaker 10: a corrupt judicial system, a corrupt Department of Justice, this
- 1:42:01Speaker 10: is where you find yourself. And this is where we are.
- 1:42:08Speaker 6: All right, we'll take a break. You're listening to Chris
- 1:42:09Speaker 6: X Radio.
- 1:42:10Speaker 10: Once again, congratulations to Greg who won the tickets to
- 1:42:12Speaker 10: Wings Over Houston. We'll be giving away more tickets later
- 1:42:15Speaker 10: this week, so keep listening. We got two more pairs
- 1:42:17Speaker 10: of tickets to give away here between now and Friday
- 1:42:21Speaker 10: because I'm not going to be giving anything away on Friday.
- 1:42:25Speaker 6: That would be the Amigos. And I think they gave
- 1:42:29Speaker 6: away some tickets last Friday. Cash, did they give away
- 1:42:31Speaker 6: tickets on Friday? Two Fridays ago. Oh, two Fridays ago.
- 1:42:36Speaker 6: I think they gave some away last Friday, too. But
- 1:42:40Speaker 6: then again, I don't know. That guy who was actually
- 1:42:44Speaker 6: there running their show, he might know better than me.
- 1:42:46Speaker 6: But nonetheless, they may have some this week, too.
- 1:42:48Speaker 17: Who knows?
- 1:42:49Speaker 6: Anyway, all right, you're listening to Chris X Radio. Let's
- 1:42:51Speaker 6: take a break. We'll come back, wrap up today's show. Man,

- 1:44:17Speaker 44: The country and the world are changing for the good.
- 1:44:20Speaker 44: If you're watching the mainstream media, that's not the message
- 1:44:22Speaker 44: you're getting. They've been brainwashing you for years. Dig into
- 1:44:26Speaker 44: the real news and wake up. You were born free
- 1:44:28Speaker 44: and freedom was given to you by God. The word
- 1:44:31Speaker 44: government is derived from the Greek words meaning to steer
- 1:44:34Speaker 44: a rudder. That should tell you something. God put us
- 1:44:37Speaker 44: here to love one another no matter what race, religion.
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: Or ethnic group.
- 1:44:40Speaker 44: And I'll admit, sometimes I have a problem doing this,
- 1:44:43Speaker 44: but I'm working on it. If you need a real

- 1:45:06Speaker 24: This is Cason Martinez. God bless America and God bless Texas.
- 1:45:10Speaker 6: One more thing.
- 1:45:11Speaker 18: God bless my pawpaw.
- 1:45:13Speaker 20: I'm Mike Schofield, and I will always keep you and
- 1:45:16Speaker 20: your family first. As your state representative, I'm working to
- 1:45:20Speaker 20: pass tough new laws forcing liberal district attorneys to prosecute
- 1:45:24Speaker 20: violent offenders to keep them off the streets and behind
- 1:45:27Speaker 20: bars where they belong. Protecting our families and our community
- 1:45:30Speaker 20: is important to me. That's why I passed a tough
- 1:45:33Speaker 20: new law protecting children from criminals engaged in human trafficking.
- 1:45:37Speaker 7: Let's keep Mike Schofield working for us. Mike Schofield is
- 1:45:41Speaker 7: fighting to keep our economy strong by supporting small businesses.
- 1:45:46Speaker 20: I know that to stop inflation and create better local jobs,
- 1:45:50Speaker 20: we must cut taxes and burdensome regulations on small businesses.
- 1:45:54Speaker 20: As your state representative, I believe that small business is
- 1:45:57Speaker 20: the heartbeat of our local economy. That's why I champion
- 1:46:00Speaker 20: policies to stop the rising cost on small businesses, helping
- 1:46:04Speaker 20: them keep more of their hard earned dollars.
- 1:46:06Speaker 7: Let's keep Mike Schofield working for us.
- 1:46:10Speaker 20: Paid political ad, Mike Schofield campaign.
- 1:46:14Speaker 6: And now, back to Chris X Radio.
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: Chris X Radio.
- 1:46:17Speaker 7: On the voice of Texas.
- 1:46:30Speaker 10: You know, Outshined by Soundgarden, which is a great song,
- 1:46:33Speaker 10: is playing now, is one of those songs where it
- 1:46:36Speaker 10: sounds very easy, it's drop-de-tuned, and I learned that riff,
- 1:46:40Speaker 10: and then learn the chorus part and some of the
- 1:46:41Speaker 10: other stuff, it is one of the hardest damn songs
- 1:46:44Speaker 10: in the world to play.
- 1:46:45Speaker 6: It freaks out in.
- 1:46:46Speaker 10: The middle of a chorus and goes back into a
- 1:46:48Speaker 10: verse and then repeats the chorus and a part of
- 1:46:50Speaker 10: the chorus.
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: It just makes no sense.
- 1:46:53Speaker 10: I can't tell you how many bands I went and
- 1:46:55Speaker 10: watched live that played it and did a bang-up job.
- 1:46:58Speaker 10: They were good bands, and then they crashed that part
- 1:47:02Speaker 10: because it just doesn't make sense. But it's a cool song. Anyway,
- 1:47:08Speaker 10: welcome back to Chris X Radio. You reached the final
- 1:47:10Speaker 10: segment of the program here on your Manic Monday edition.
- 1:47:13Speaker 6: Early voting still underway. Just started today.
- 1:47:16Speaker 10: It's going to go through the 30th of October, which
- 1:47:19Speaker 10: I cannot believe today is already the 19th of October.
- 1:47:23Speaker 10: But it goes through the 30th, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m.
- 1:47:26Speaker 10: to 7 p.m. So you still have another hour to
- 1:47:28Speaker 10: get out and vote. If you're in line at 7 p.m.,
- 1:47:31Speaker 10: they'll let you vote. I don't know how long the
- 1:47:33Speaker 10: lines will.
- 1:47:34Speaker 6: Be this evening.
- 1:47:35Speaker 10: Some places in Harris County, the Woodlands, Conroe, they had
- 1:47:38Speaker 10: lines today. Some places like Willis didn't have a line.
- 1:47:43Speaker 10: So if you're getting out and voting, you still got
- 1:47:44Speaker 10: an hour to get out and vote. I'm going to
- 1:47:46Speaker 10: go vote sometime between now and the 30th. I always
- 1:47:48Speaker 10: early vote and I'll try to get out whenever there's
- 1:47:53Speaker 10: not much going on. I like to get in and
- 1:47:55Speaker 10: out in five minutes. I don't like to wait in line. Tuesday,
- 1:47:58Speaker 10: November 3rd, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. is election day.
- 1:48:01Speaker 10: I'll vote before then. So you still have time to
- 1:48:04Speaker 10: get out and vote today if you want. If you
- 1:48:05Speaker 10: can't make it today, don't worry about it. You got
- 1:48:07Speaker 10: tomorrow and then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 1:48:11Speaker 10: all the way through next Friday. So just remember, Sunday's
- 1:48:15Speaker 10: only noon to 7, not 7 a.m.
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: To 7.
- 1:48:16Speaker 6: So if you want to get out and vote, I
- 1:48:18Speaker 6: think a lot of people are going to vote. of
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: people are going to vote. I heard there was something like.
- 1:48:22Speaker 10: 19 million Texans registered to vote in this election. And
- 1:48:28Speaker 10: it's funny because we've got that voter ID here in
- 1:48:30Speaker 10: Texas and the Democrats keep telling us how that deters voters.
- 1:48:34Speaker 10: And it did just absolutely, you know, makes problems and
- 1:48:37Speaker 10: for voters and it's just trouble. And yet our voter
- 1:48:40Speaker 10: base keeps expanding. And we have, we tend to have
- 1:48:44Speaker 10: less voter fraud in Texas, but it still exists.
- 1:48:49Speaker 6: Anyhow, so there you go. Hopefully you can get into that.
- 1:48:51Speaker 10: I just saw on social media that the Indiana Democrat
- 1:48:56Speaker 10: who went on and said that she'd fire all Republicans
- 1:49:00Speaker 10: and that we have guns, too.
- 1:49:01Speaker 6: You remember her? Jamie West was her name.
- 1:49:04Speaker 10: She went on Piers Morgan and said she only had
- 1:49:07Speaker 10: three beers before that interview.
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: I'm thinking maybe she had more than that.
- 1:49:13Speaker 10: But then again, that's basically every Democrat caller that ever
- 1:49:16Speaker 10: calls into our program. I'm just going to do a
- 1:49:20Speaker 10: demonstration for you. Hello, typical Democrat. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:49:24Speaker 10: What's on your mind today?
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: Firing all Republicans. I wouldn't let them.
- 1:49:28Speaker 29: I mean, I don't even talk to them.
- 1:49:31Speaker 6: I don't like them.
- 1:49:32Speaker 44: I mean, they voted against our own state representative voted against.
- 1:49:38Speaker 6: Her own party. Stone State Representative. What do you want
- 1:49:44Speaker 6: me to say?
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: I don't like being around them.
- 1:49:45Speaker 6: I mean, y'all did this to us.
- 1:49:48Speaker 5: You all voted for us.
- 1:49:49Speaker 14: You made this happen, this ICE.
- 1:49:53Speaker 5: Coming into our communities, stealing people's jobs.
- 1:49:57Speaker 6: ICE is stealing so many jobs.
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: I've been threatened so many times to my face.
- 1:50:03Speaker 6: To my face.
- 1:50:05Speaker 41: MAGA, we'll call them, because there's Republicans.
- 1:50:09Speaker 9: Who actually get it.
- 1:50:11Speaker 6: You know, there are good Republicans out there.
- 1:50:14Speaker 14: But then there's these MAGAs who are just racist and
- 1:50:19Speaker 14: aren't very intelligent at all.
- 1:50:22Speaker 4: They call you names.
- 1:50:24Speaker 14: My sheriff's nephew threatened to blow my head off.
- 1:50:29Speaker 6: But, you know, what are you going to do?
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: We have guns, too.
- 1:50:36Speaker 10: That may be my favorite new audio right now. Cash,
- 1:50:39Speaker 10: is that one of your favorite pieces of audio?
- 1:50:41Speaker 6: Do you like it?
- 1:50:42Speaker 7: Oh, it's awesome.
- 1:50:42Speaker 6: I mean, it's pretty good. It's not... See, I listen
- 1:50:45Speaker 6: to her, I'm like, okay, this is a crazy woman
- 1:50:47Speaker 6: who's had too much to drink.
- 1:50:48Speaker 10: And then I listen to another Democrat constituency who ran
- 1:50:51Speaker 10: for what was trying to run in Maine.
- 1:50:54Speaker 30: We.
- 1:50:56Speaker 10: Ashley Webb was her name, his name, whom we have
- 1:50:59Speaker 10: affectionately referred to as Translove.
- 1:51:01Speaker 6: But I actually like Translove. Translove seems like a nice person.
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: Oh, I ran for office several times. Didn't win, but
- 1:51:06Speaker 5: I did run. And then I'm a songwriter, and then
- 1:51:11Speaker 5: I write my own books.
- 1:51:12Speaker 6: And then.
- 1:51:14Speaker 5: expose my transparency I wouldn't lie to the people and
- 1:51:18Speaker 5: I wouldn't deceive the people like we're being deceived right
- 1:51:21Speaker 5: now like we get lied smoking mirrors like what's going
- 1:51:26Speaker 5: on with ICE pretending like these victims did something wrong
- 1:51:31Speaker 5: like that's unacceptable um And I suppose the biggest thing is, like,
- 1:51:37Speaker 5: I'm just an angry citizen now, and if I got elected,
- 1:51:40Speaker 5: I'd be an angry senator, and I think that would
- 1:51:41Speaker 5: probably be their worst nightmare.
- 1:51:45Speaker 6: Songwriter looks shockingly like Meatloaf. It's kind of weird. But
- 1:51:51Speaker 6: the caller Transloaf, and it's actually Ashley Webb, who's actually
- 1:51:54Speaker 6: a dude, who, when you hear the voice, you can
- 1:51:57Speaker 6: pretty much tell it's a dude. When you looked at Ashley,
- 1:51:59Speaker 6: you could tell it was a dude. It was a
- 1:52:01Speaker 6: dude who looked like Meatloaf, because Meatloaf had that long,
- 1:52:04Speaker 6: dark hair like that. And it was kind of crazy.
- 1:52:07Speaker 10: But Transloaf actually seemed kind of like, it was kind
- 1:52:09Speaker 10: of a sweet person. Transloaf seemed okay. James Tallarico would
- 1:52:15Speaker 10: love Transloaf. In fact, I can't believe James Tallarico hasn't
- 1:52:18Speaker 10: gone and recruited Transloaf to come be his running mate
- 1:52:21Speaker 10: here in Texas. Because the BBC is reporting on protests
- 1:52:27Speaker 10: in France and having their very own fiery but mostly
- 1:52:30Speaker 10: peaceful moment while airing footage from rioters burning vehicles in
- 1:52:35Speaker 10: In France, Paris correspondent James Waterhouse reported on Sunday that
- 1:52:39Speaker 10: the protests and riots, which have rocked France, the riots
- 1:52:43Speaker 10: in Italy and then, of course, France have been really bad.
- 1:52:47Speaker 10: But the footage didn't quite back up when he was saying, well,
- 1:52:52Speaker 10: they were mostly peaceful, though, as we saw in the Capitol,
- 1:52:55Speaker 10: in the wings of those who wanted to take advantage
- 1:52:57Speaker 10: of the disorder. You guys remember when CNN described a
- 1:53:02Speaker 10: 2020 riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, as fiery but mostly peaceful? Yeah,
- 1:53:08Speaker 10: that's what you call propaganda, folks. Don't believe your lying eyes.
- 1:53:12Speaker 10: Believe what we're telling you. We will tell you what
- 1:53:15Speaker 10: it is. It's not what you see. The media has
- 1:53:20Speaker 10: been in the business of manipulating people a very long time.
- 1:53:24Speaker 6: All right, gang, we're out of time. We're done. We'll
- 1:53:26Speaker 6: be back for Taco 2 for Tuesday tomorrow. Maybe we'll
- 1:53:29Speaker 6: give away some more Wings Over Houston tickets. I think
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: we will. We'll see you tomorrow. Have a good night.
- 1:53:33Speaker 2: Be safe.
