- 0:19Speaker 1: Looking at before.
- 0:21Speaker 3: It is that classic thing of someone that has a
- 0:23Speaker 3: little secret. Oh you know what I mean, And they're.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Just smirking and smiling away, just going.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I just can't wait, like a kid in a candy
- 0:34Speaker 3: sort of reveal what it is that that I'm going
- 0:38Speaker 3: to put on the fellows or something.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:40Speaker 3: And I said to Pugson when I came in, Mogi,
- 0:43Speaker 3: what the fuck is going on with Keysy?
- 0:45Speaker 4: He said, fucked if I know.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Yeah, And so it's like, okay, al, yeah, something is afoot.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, I wouldn't get too worried about it. No,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm trying not to worry about it. I worried about
- 0:58Speaker 1: these things.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I worry less and lest these days about most things.
- 1:03Speaker 3: But I was just it was just an observation.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Something to yeah, yeah, it's not making.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, and his little cold there on his headphones.
- 1:14Speaker 2: You there's nothing to worry about.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Jason I'm not worried about anything, but there's just something afoot,
- 1:20Speaker 3: something of foot.
- 1:21Speaker 4: There's foot, there's a stench in the air.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it's just I'm just in a good mood, man.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I just you know, today it was the first day
- 1:28Speaker 2: and a we while that I've had nothing on other
- 1:30Speaker 2: than the radio show What you Were Naked? Yes, other
- 1:34Speaker 2: than the radio show, which I wore. Yeah, And so
- 1:37Speaker 2: I'm just well rested. Had a delicious lunch cheese rolls
- 1:40Speaker 2: and spicy pumpkin soup. Oh wow, winter it was delicious.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Terrible day to day, wasn't it. Yeah, weather bomb funnily
- 1:51Speaker 3: it'll be enough, funnily enough. You know what I hit
- 1:54Speaker 3: for lunch, well, a tomato soup with a cheese toasty Yeah.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I love a cheese, cheese and kimchi.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Toasty kim chie.
- 2:03Speaker 4: There's bloody good man. Highly recommend that it's very nice.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Okay, So because the All Blacks are playing at nine
- 2:11Speaker 2: am again, an't they?
- 2:12Speaker 1: Is that tomorrow or Sunday? I believe, I believe.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Well, no, I'm going fishing on Sunday morning.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Ten past nine again. I think against France, we've got
- 2:23Speaker 2: the bit of a tradition at my place of after
- 2:26Speaker 2: one weekend of Lucy making a kim Chie pancake for
- 2:29Speaker 2: breakfast and us eating it while watching The All Blacks
- 2:31Speaker 2: and how long is that be going for one weekend?
- 2:34Speaker 2: And I was like, sho, we did it again. She's like, yeah, okay, okay,
- 2:36Speaker 2: now it's a traditional.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Well, I just want to put it out there right now.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I'm going to be out on Sunday morning, so no
- 2:42Speaker 3: posting on the year away from it, and I'll watch
- 2:50Speaker 3: a highlight why not highlights?
- 2:51Speaker 4: I'll watch a replay hopefully at like midday.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Sure do you have to go out first?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Thing?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Is that when it's smoothest?
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah? Well no, that's when the high tiders feedy high tide.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Adam ri Tai.
- 3:03Speaker 2: There high tied Maritai.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Man, what have you got on this weekend? Mad? Bad?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 3:10Speaker 4: Pugs and I be naked again.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Pugs and I. I'm pretty sure this is still on.
- 3:15Speaker 2: We're going to the movies. You see Gladiated Gladiator too,
- 3:19Speaker 2: Although I saw a review for a quick like two
- 3:21Speaker 2: sentence review for it, yeah, and my my expectations and
- 3:25Speaker 2: have been lowered slightly.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Well, every review I've seen for it has been positive right, Okay, yeah, okay,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that's good. All right?
- 3:32Speaker 3: Can I start? Can I just ask well that I'm
- 3:34Speaker 3: not wanting a review. Who's the star of it?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Poor miss Scale? And Denzel Washington is also in it.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Okay, I don't have an issue with either of those two.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But Pascal, Yeah, I quite like Drove Pescal.
- 3:48Speaker 3: He's my wife's Sam really yeah, kind of a step
- 3:52Speaker 3: of a man.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I find him. I actually I was quite I
- 3:57Speaker 1: think I like him as an actor, but more of
- 3:59Speaker 1: as a human. He's a of a set, you know
- 4:00Speaker 1: when you see interviews with them and stuff. Sure, so
- 4:03Speaker 1: you don't want him as Jason's wife's hall pass. I'm
- 4:06Speaker 1: disappointed that that is what I was.
- 4:08Speaker 4: I was very surprised.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yea, but because he's attainable.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And then she was like, actually no, she changed it.
- 4:18Speaker 3: No, yeah, she's always had kind of the same hall
- 4:21Speaker 3: pass all the way through.
- 4:23Speaker 1: No.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Oh god, his name is just to scrape. He was
- 4:27Speaker 4: in Dark Waters, Mark Ruffalo.
- 4:30Speaker 1: She's got a type the Hulk. Yeah, was he the Hulk?
- 4:36Speaker 2: He's the new right Mark ruff him in the same camp.
- 4:41Speaker 4: She likes Mark Ruffle. I quite like him too, like as.
- 4:44Speaker 2: An actors Again, if he grew a mastache. She looks
- 4:47Speaker 2: like me.
- 4:50Speaker 1: If he grew the stage, she looked like Pedro pest gal.
- 4:53Speaker 1: That's right. The whole Lucky Big Show week days from
- 5:02Speaker 1: four on Radio Hurarchy, remember the Hacky Big Show podcast.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Well, what is interesting because you were saying your wife's
- 5:11Speaker 3: all passed was luxome Chris.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Luxem that's yeah, as a pakia, bald and older than
- 5:20Speaker 2: she's pretty keen.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, so he's only forty three, is he?
- 5:25Speaker 2: I don't believe that really, See he seems like the
- 5:28Speaker 2: kind of guy that would go around telling everyone he's
- 5:30Speaker 2: forty three.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I'm not gonna won't break this out on TV check
- 5:36Speaker 1: because I know to toll annoy you, Jase. But I
- 5:38Speaker 1: was watching a Seinfeld last night and they had a
- 5:41Speaker 1: real the guy had a real good trick. This guy
- 5:43Speaker 1: had a real good trick where he would make a
- 5:45Speaker 1: bet with a woman. He made a bit with Elaine
- 5:49Speaker 1: and he said he said that Dustin Hoffman was in
- 5:52Speaker 1: Star Wars and she's like, what are you talking about?
- 5:54Speaker 1: On Stars? He's like, oh, well, if whoever's wrong, he
- 5:57Speaker 1: is to buy dinner him, knowing very well that Dustin
- 6:00Speaker 1: Hoffman wasn't in it. And then he gets to take
- 6:02Speaker 1: her on a date without saying to her, hey, do
- 6:04Speaker 1: you want to go out on a date and risking
- 6:05Speaker 1: getting rejected.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Great, a great, great tactic, very good. So it's funny
- 6:11Speaker 2: because there's also one with George Costanza intentionally tries to
- 6:14Speaker 2: leave stuff at her apartment so that he'd have an
- 6:17Speaker 2: excuse to come back. That's right, but she keeps finding
- 6:20Speaker 2: it and busting him trying to leave.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I watched, funnily enough, a blooper clip of Signed Out Today.
- 6:28Speaker 3: What's her name, Elaine? Elaine and the father, Yeah, the father. Yeah,
- 6:36Speaker 3: she just couldn't do it.
- 6:37Speaker 1: There was talk that they were going to have a
- 6:38Speaker 1: spin off, right George's parents, Yes, which would have been
- 6:43Speaker 1: fucking magnificent. That's so funny. That's ridiculous, ridiculous. Yeah, anyway,
- 6:48Speaker 1: that was a good time.
- 6:49Speaker 2: One of the funniest things, and it's been brought up
- 6:51Speaker 2: a few times I've seen on social media, is when
- 6:52Speaker 2: they they flash back to Jerry Costanza that his name
- 6:57Speaker 2: is Jerry Stiller, Frank Costanza. They've flash back to him
- 7:00Speaker 2: in the army when he was like twenty, and it's
- 7:02Speaker 2: just him playing himself with no makeup and he's clearly like.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Mid fifties in the rest. Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and so they didn't even try to make it
- 7:11Speaker 2: look like he was younger. It's very funny.
- 7:15Speaker 1: A good show, yeah, really good show. You. Oh, Marge
- 7:19Speaker 1: is meant to be coming this weekend?
- 7:20Speaker 2: Oh Marge min Yeah, she's.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Meant to flying tonight and just got a phone call.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Her flat's been canceled.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Oh is it the same down there?
- 7:28Speaker 1: I don't know, it must be. Yeah, well maybe it's
- 7:30Speaker 1: because of here that they couldn't leave.
- 7:32Speaker 4: It really has shat the beard today, but actually is
- 7:34Speaker 4: quite nice.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But only on two occasions has she even not driven
- 7:37Speaker 1: to the airport. Right, So on two occasions she's not,
- 7:41Speaker 1: she got someone to drop her off, and then on
- 7:43Speaker 1: both occasions her flight has been canceled, leaving her stranded
- 7:46Speaker 1: and about an hour's drive from home.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Oh no, because she's on.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Nor have Okay, that is such a pain in the
- 7:55Speaker 1: isn't it both times stitched out? Yeah?
- 7:58Speaker 2: Can you uber?
- 8:00Speaker 1: Yeah? Both, she probably can to pick her up. It's
- 8:03Speaker 1: just a ball light.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Do they do that scenario where they just cancel the
- 8:07Speaker 3: flights for all the entire day?
- 8:11Speaker 1: They can, but they do it gradually. Yeah, they'll do
- 8:14Speaker 1: it one by one start it's all over. They'll cancel
- 8:18Speaker 1: a flight by flight right like we had when we
- 8:20Speaker 1: last went to the and they'll try and move as
- 8:23Speaker 1: few things as possible so they won't try and get
- 8:25Speaker 1: the flight at seven am to leave at one o'clock
- 8:28Speaker 1: in the afternoon. They'll cancel the seven eight nineteen twelve,
- 8:31Speaker 1: and then the one o'clock in the afternoon. One can go.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Speaking of flights, my wife was having an anxiety attacked
- 8:38Speaker 3: today about the flights she's booked for us when we
- 8:41Speaker 3: go to was He next week China East China Easter
- 8:44Speaker 3: and she's gone, Is that even a fucking thing because
- 8:48Speaker 3: there's China seven and stuff.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Well, the other thing is is that you can claim
- 8:53Speaker 1: that back. You know you can claim that back? Yes, yes,
- 8:55Speaker 1: And I've never done it. I've always felt a bit
- 8:59Speaker 1: weird about going to the airline having to I think
- 9:01Speaker 1: you have to provide a death certificate. Arah, we have
- 9:04Speaker 1: to cut this out so that you can get a
- 9:08Speaker 1: bereavement discount or something rother because we obviously it's always
- 9:11Speaker 1: short notice, right and so yeah, they give you like
- 9:14Speaker 1: eighty percent of the money bag or something.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, we've also booked China seven. I've never heard of
- 9:22Speaker 3: these guys.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I've flown China something highly recommend. Yeah, yeah, as long
- 9:26Speaker 2: as you don't bloody good deal. The food's really good. Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 2: the entertainment was great and the attend stripped. The hosts
- 9:32Speaker 2: and stuff are really nice. There was no strippers.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Are you good? Question?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Though?
- 9:35Speaker 4: I might see if I can upgrade premium economy.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Oh you can't, I've already looked into it. Yeah. So
- 9:44Speaker 2: China easton what it's like to fly China Eastern from
- 9:46Speaker 2: Shanghai to Auckland would not recommend?
- 9:48Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was this is kezy reading.
- 9:52Speaker 4: There is a stop over in between and China.
- 9:55Speaker 2: No about China Eastern. Where're going? You're just going to Aussie?
- 9:57Speaker 2: So that's she said. That's it's a budgety aligned to
- 10:00Speaker 2: stop over in China on the way to Yeah, that's
- 10:02Speaker 2: not good.
- 10:02Speaker 4: No, I mean I'm going to stop over in China
- 10:05Speaker 4: on the way to Vietnam. Oh yeah yeah.
- 10:09Speaker 2: How long is your stop over?
- 10:10Speaker 4: Four hours?
- 10:11Speaker 2: So good Guangzhoo and China Southern. If you stop over
- 10:14Speaker 2: for longer than eight hours, they'll put you up in
- 10:16Speaker 2: a hotel. And so we intentionally got a flight with
- 10:19Speaker 2: like a twenty hour stopover. We went to Sri Lanka.
- 10:22Speaker 2: They put us in a hotel in the middle of Guangzhou,
- 10:23Speaker 2: which is just a random industrial city, and we just
- 10:25Speaker 2: went to spend like ten hours adventuring around China in
- 10:28Speaker 2: this weird part of town.
- 10:29Speaker 4: That's good to know.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And as we're walking around, I was like, well, look
- 10:32Speaker 2: at this, and Lucy was looking around and everyone we
- 10:34Speaker 2: walked past was just eyeballing.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Lucy.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they're all like the Chinese hoidy j you know,
- 10:40Speaker 2: in their fifties, sixties sorry, forties, spit everywhere and just
- 10:44Speaker 2: like just and then I'd look at them and they
- 10:46Speaker 2: wouldn't avert eye because you know, someone, what are you
- 10:48Speaker 2: going to do? Exactly the hell am I?
- 10:51Speaker 4: Well, they just looked at your mail went no threat there.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it was.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah, So it's interesting. That's something to keep in mind.
- 10:57Speaker 3: See quite seriously, because I was thinking, I was saying
- 11:00Speaker 3: to my wife and my daughter, you know, i'd be
- 11:01Speaker 3: quite cold.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Actually have a little ticky tour.
- 11:03Speaker 2: We We're like, why the helloween in the middle of
- 11:05Speaker 2: industrial China right now, and like this weird city that
- 11:07Speaker 2: you wouldn't go to. And it was brilliant.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Did you have some Chinese food?
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, man, no, I did, had dumplings and sing poos
- 11:16Speaker 2: and spicy noodles.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Still, I've only been to Where have I been? Shanghai,
- 11:26Speaker 1: maybe Beijing, I can't remember. Anyway, that was a stop over.
- 11:30Speaker 1: That's where I ate the dumplings and ended up shipping
- 11:32Speaker 1: my pants.
- 11:34Speaker 3: That's also good to know, Magie, don't eat the dump points.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Shook my caps having shat all over the plane, and
- 11:40Speaker 1: then shat my pants and met Hillary Berry another day.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Listen cha,
