- 2:59before the new mayor of Everett was sworn into
- 3:01office, the outgoing mayor announced a major
- 3:04development agreement with Wynn Resorts. The
- 3:07agreement paves the way for up to two new hotels
- 3:10on Wynn -owned property across from Encore Boston
- 3:13Harbor. Effort resident Dolores Lattanzi stated,
- 3:18I think it's good business, especially in that
- 3:21area. The hotels will generate nearly $12 million
- 3:26in annual revenue through property taxes and
- 3:29hotel taxes. Wynn Resorts has also pledged approximately
- 3:33$15 million for transportation improvements and
- 3:37$25 million for a future MBTA commuter rail stop.
- 3:43Instruction on the hotels, which will total around
- 3:45800 rooms, could begin this spring with an expected

- 3:59made a significant move and have fired John Harbaugh
- 4:02after 18 seasons in Baltimore. This vacancy is
- 4:07highly coveted, as it offers the opportunity
- 4:10to work with a top five quarterback. Harbaugh,
- 4:14the fourth winning guest, active head coach,
- 4:17has sparked interest, with reports of his agent
- 4:19receiving seven calls. The Ravens' job is considered
- 4:23the most desirable since the openings at the
- 4:26Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers. Expect
- 4:30a seismic shift in coaching dynamics. As organizations
- 4:34reassess their strategies in light of this development,
- 4:38the coaching carousel has truly begun. In local
- 4:42sports, the Seattle Kraken beat the Bruins 7
- 4:46-4 on Tuesday night with Kapo Kakko scoring two
- 4:50goals and an assist. Berkley Katten also shined,
- 4:55netting his first two and 8 -0 goals. Jared McCann
- 4:59contributed a goal and an assist. while Jordan
- 5:02Eberle opened the scoring and led the team with
- 5:05his 15th goal of the season. The Dakot Pasternak
- 5:08scored two goals for the Bruins, and Mason Laurie
- 5:12added another. But the Bruins will look to rebound
- 5:15as they host Calgary on Thursday night. In top
- 5:20news, the Department of Homeland Security announced
- 5:23Tuesday that it has launched what it describes
- 5:26as the largest immigration enforcement operation
- 5:29ever in Minnesota. Approximately 2 ,000 federal
- 5:34agents and officers are expected in the Minneapolis
- 5:37area to address allegations of fraud involving
- 5:40Somali residents. The operation includes agents
- 5:44from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and
- 5:47focuses on identifying suspected fraud. Minnesota
- 5:51Governor Tim Walz criticized the enforcement
- 5:54surge as a war that's being waged against Minnesota.
- 5:58immigrant rights groups reported increased sightings
- 6:01of federal agents. In business news, Lego has

- 7:54back to the show. Let's talk science. Japan's
- 7:59streets remain impressively clean, despite the
- 8:02scarcity of public trash cans. Travelers are
- 8:06often surprised to find no bins on the streets,
- 8:09forcing them to carry their waste. Some visitors
- 8:13report this lack of bins as their biggest inconvenience,
- 8:16according to a survey. Historically, trash cans
- 8:20were removed from public spaces due to security
- 8:23concerns. Japan's cultural values of cleanliness
- 8:27and personal responsibility also play a significant
- 8:31role in this practice. To adapt, travelers can
- 8:35carry small bags for their waste and use recycling
- 8:38bins at vending machines. And in entertainment
- 8:44news, Sebastian Stan is considering a move to
- 8:48the DC Universe to store alongside Robert Pattinson
- 8:52in The Batman Part 2. The Romanian -American
- 8:56actor, known for his role as Bucky Barnes in
- 8:59the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is reportedly
- 9:02in talks for this role. Production is set to
- 9:05begin in the spring of 2026. Scarlett Johansson
- 9:09has also been linked to the sequel, despite her
- 9:12character, Natasha Romanoff, dying in Avengers
- 9:16Endgame. The sequel is planned for release on
- 9:19October 1, 2027. following the success of the
- 9:23first film, which grossed $772 .3 million. Well,
- 9:31all righty, folks. It's time for the quote of
- 9:33the day. And today, our quote comes from the
- 9:37American aviation pioneer, Amelia Earhart. And
- 9:42she said, adventure is worthwhile in itself,
- 9:46for it pushes the boundaries of what we know.
- 9:48and inspires us to dream beyond the horizon,
- 9:52daring us to explore the unknown. And that's
- 9:56a wrap for this morning. You can check out our
