- 0:00Speaker 1: Now, much more Mark. Mark Simone. Now, 9 till noon weekdays.
- 0:06Speaker 2: On 710WOR.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Well, hey, there's open lines. Don't tell me you couldn't
- 0:13Speaker 1: get through. I see open lines right now. If you
- 0:15Speaker 1: want to call, it's 800-321-0710 is the number.
- 0:16Speaker 3: 800-321-0710.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Give us a call.
- 0:18Speaker 4: 800-321-0710.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Are you a big Atlantic City fan? One of the
- 0:32Speaker 1: landmarks of Atlantic City, the Steel Pier. You remember the
- 0:35Speaker 1: Steel Pier? It's for sale. You could buy it if
- 0:39Speaker 1: you want. It's $ 85 million. That's a lot. That's a
- 0:47Speaker 1: lot for a pier, especially in Atlantic City. $ 85 million.
- 0:51Speaker 1: It's a historic attraction. It's right across from the boardwalk.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It's actually right across from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's 5.2 acres. It's listed by Ryan Serhant. You know
- 1:02Speaker 1: that Serhant? He's like the new hotshot top real estate guy.
- 1:06Speaker 1: A little annoying, that guy. But it's 1,000 feet long.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Classic jersey shirt. It's got the amusement park on it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's got a big towering Ferris wheel. It's got games.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It's got food. And it's unusual. It's only pure with
- 1:20Speaker 1: a built-in helipad. All right. It's a good deal, I guess.
- 1:28Speaker 1: It's a good deal. Anyway, let's take some calls. Let's
- 1:30Speaker 1: go to Keith in Massapequa. Keith, how are you doing?
- 1:34Speaker 5: Hey, Mark, how are you doing? First, I want to
- 1:35Speaker 5: say I enjoy you on Kudlow.
- 1:37Speaker 1: You're talking too fast. I can't think that fast. A
- 1:39Speaker 1: little slower. Oh, sorry.
- 1:41Speaker 5: I enjoy you on Kudlow when you're on with Joe Conch. Really?
- 1:44Speaker 1: You've got a TV now. Look at that.
- 1:46Speaker 4: The reason I was calling, Mark, is I heard.
- 1:51Speaker 1: That Kudlow is the smartest show on television. It is
- 1:54Speaker 1: the smartest show. Everybody should watch that every day. You're
- 1:57Speaker 1: obviously a high-brow fellow if you're watching Kudlow every day.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Well, he does a great job. You know what I mean?
- 2:02Speaker 5: He's very bright, seriously. Very bright. Almost as bright as
- 2:06Speaker 5: you are, seriously.
- 2:07Speaker 1: But whatever. Not quite that bright. But, no, it's the
- 2:09Speaker 1: smartest show on television. You can learn more watching Kudlow.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Go ahead. What did you want to say?
- 2:14Speaker 5: The reason I'm calling is this thing with Netanyahu, with
- 2:17Speaker 5: the mayor. Beside from getting himself in more trouble, Mamdani,
- 2:23Speaker 5: that is, with the mayor, with Netanyahu and wanting to
- 2:25Speaker 5: arrest him or whatever, wouldn't it be smart for the
- 2:30Speaker 5: Jewish Americans in the city, and I'm just saying this
- 2:34Speaker 5: as a Catholic man, wouldn't it be smart for them
- 2:36Speaker 5: to rise up and say, why don't you leave the
- 2:37Speaker 5: leader of Israel alone? It's our greatest ally.
- 2:42Speaker 1: They say that every day. They've been saying that.
- 2:44Speaker 4: They always say that.
- 2:45Speaker 5: It don't seem like they're too organized, though. They're very organized.
- 2:48Speaker 1: They say it all the time. The president says it.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Everybody says it all the time.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Well, Trump I know does, yeah, but I just, It
- 2:54Speaker 5: just seems like there'd be more rallies against the mayor
- 2:56Speaker 5: or something like that with the Jewish Americans.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Well, there have been a few. You don't want to
- 2:59Speaker 1: get into the rally business. That's for crazy left-wing Democrats.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But the Jewish community, very well organized, and they do
- 3:05Speaker 1: say that all the time. But thanks for calling. Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 1: they do. The mayor, just an anti-Semite. It's just in
- 3:12Speaker 1: his blood. Netanyahu's not a criminal. There's no real court
- 3:16Speaker 1: that's ever accused him of anything. Well, well, maybe in
- 3:19Speaker 1: Israel he was accused of– What was he accused of?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Taking a gift or something? But outside of that, I mean,
- 3:24Speaker 1: that's just little stuff. But the International Criminal Court is
- 3:28Speaker 1: not a real court. It's not recognized by anybody except
- 3:31Speaker 1: a couple of lunatics. It's not an actual court. It
- 3:34Speaker 1: was formed by a bunch of left-wing nuts who put
- 3:37Speaker 1: it together. Let's go to Colts Neck. Who is this
- 3:42Speaker 1: in Colts Neck?
- 3:44Speaker 6: This is Jeff.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Hi, how are you doing? Hi, Jeff. What do you
- 3:47Speaker 1: want to say?
- 3:49Speaker 6: Well, I tell you, first time caller, I love your program.
- 3:52Speaker 6: I was saying it years ago. You should go to
- 3:54Speaker 6: three hours. I'm glad you're at three hours.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Oh, you're the guy that's responsible for this. I am.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I am.
- 4:00Speaker 6: What the hell's wrong with you?
- 4:01Speaker 1: I got to get up an hour earlier every day
- 4:03Speaker 1: because of you.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Oh, well, come on.
- 4:06Speaker 6: It works out.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I never got up that early in my life.
- 4:11Speaker 6: I just want to thank you for the support of
- 4:12Speaker 6: Trump and the support of the country. We need calm heads,
- 4:17Speaker 6: solid heads. and sane heads to get this country back online.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Thank you very much.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. You're a wonderful guy. You'll believe this
- 4:25Speaker 1: guy asked because of him I got to get up
- 4:27Speaker 1: at 7 in the morning. It'd be great to be
- 4:31Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan. You don't need an alarm clock. They
- 4:35Speaker 1: don't have an alarm clock. What do they need it for?
- 4:36Speaker 1: They don't have anything to do all day. It's quite
- 4:40Speaker 1: a life they lead. They wake up and try to
- 4:42Speaker 1: figure out what the hell to do all day. They're
- 4:44Speaker 1: big activity. Go to lunch. Then spend the afternoon figuring
- 4:49Speaker 1: out where to go to dinner. That's about it. Then
- 4:51Speaker 1: back to sleep. Let's go to Kathy in North Carolina. Kathy,
- 4:55Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 4:56Speaker 3: Hey, listen, don't make fun of Mondami for the, the toilets.
- 5:02Speaker 2: That's a great idea.
- 5:03Speaker 3: It is the number one complaint of New York city
- 5:09Speaker 3: for tourists or anybody is that there's no availability for
- 5:12Speaker 3: toilets anywhere.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And safe ones.
- 5:15Speaker 3: And these sound very safe to me.
- 5:17Speaker 2: And, The reason that he, I think, put one of those.
- 5:19Speaker 1: There's toilets everywhere. Everywhere there's toilets.
- 5:23Speaker 2: There's not. You tell me where there's toilets that you
- 5:25Speaker 2: can use that are safe.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Okay. Let's take where I'm standing right now. I'm standing
- 5:29Speaker 1: here right now. You go one block that way, you
- 5:31Speaker 1: got the New York Hilton. You go into the lobby.
- 5:34Speaker 2: You can't go inside there. Yes, you can. You cannot
- 5:37Speaker 2: go inside there.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I do it all the time. Now, listen to me.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You walk into the New York Hilton.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I can't believe you just admitted that.
- 5:43Speaker 1: All the time. You walk into the New York Hilton,
- 5:46Speaker 1: go to the back of the lobby. There's a Big,
- 5:48Speaker 1: huge men's room and ladies' room. They're really nice.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You can use them all. I can tell you 30
- 5:54Speaker 1: places within two blocks of here where you can use
- 5:55Speaker 1: the bathroom.
- 5:56Speaker 3: If you want to keep a place clean and people
- 5:59Speaker 3: not urinating under overpasses, the homeless people, let them have
- 6:03Speaker 3: a effing toilet. That's a great idea.
- 6:07Speaker 1: All right, but I'm just telling you this toilet. I
- 6:08Speaker 1: could name 15 toilets you could use. Within two blocks
- 6:12Speaker 1: of here.
- 6:12Speaker 2: That's the whole thing about Starbucks. People couldn't go there.
- 6:16Speaker 2: They were using it, and then they shut that down.
- 6:18Speaker 2: And I don't blame them.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Starbucks, you can't just walk in and use the bed.
- 6:22Speaker 1: They got codes.
- 6:23Speaker 2: But don't.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Yeah, anyway.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So, hey, by the way, if you're worried about a restaurant,
- 6:28Speaker 1: how clean is the kitchen? Always, when you go to
- 6:31Speaker 1: the restaurant, just go look in the bathroom. If the
- 6:34Speaker 1: bathroom is clean, the kitchen is clean. If the bathroom's
- 6:37Speaker 1: a mess, hasn't been cleaned in a while, the kitchen's
- 6:39Speaker 1: a mess. Because the same exact people clean both the
- 6:42Speaker 1: bathroom and the kitchen. You got time for one more?
- 6:45Speaker 1: Let's go to Gus in Long Island. Gus, how you doing?
- 6:49Speaker 4: Hi, how you doing, Mark?
- 6:51Speaker 1: Good. What's going on?
- 6:52Speaker 4: I wanted to tell you, you know, the way the
- 6:55Speaker 4: diners are closing.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 4: We've got a brand new diner, the Peter Pan in Bayshore.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Oh.
- 7:01Speaker 4: It just opened up last month. Beautiful. Everything brand new.
- 7:06Speaker 4: It's on Sunrise Highway and Bayshore Road in Bayshore.
- 7:10Speaker 1: All right. Very good. You know, I've noticed that in
- 7:12Speaker 1: Long Island, a couple of places, brand new diners are
- 7:17Speaker 1: opening up, old-fashioned diners. So maybe it's going on a
- 7:21Speaker 1: lot in Long Island. Maybe it's a new trend. They've
- 7:24Speaker 1: been closing for years, but there's a couple that have
- 7:26Speaker 1: opened recently. The Carnegie Deli, as you know, just reopened.
- 7:29Speaker 1: That's like a real, you know, delis, diners, they were
- 7:32Speaker 1: kind of on the outs. Maybe they're all coming back. Hey,
- 7:35Speaker 1: when we come back, the hunt for Steve Moore. I
- 7:37Speaker 1: think he'll be here. We'll see if we can talk
- 7:40Speaker 1: to Steve Moore about the Fed rate, about Kevin Warsh,
- 7:43Speaker 1: about all of that. Coming up next on 710WOR.
