- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the program. Yesterday
- 0:04Speaker 1: we were talking about Diddy and the fight that he
- 0:06Speaker 1: got into in jail, allegedly with the drug lord, Christopher Koch. Well,
- 0:13Speaker 1: the Department of Justice, the BOP, has clarified and said
- 0:18Speaker 1: that that didn't happen. According to them, that is not
- 0:22Speaker 1: something that occurred. And official sources are saying that the
- 0:27Speaker 1: cause of the injury is private. and that they can't
- 0:31Speaker 1: talk about what happened when it comes to inmates inside
- 0:34Speaker 1: the facility. Now, I don't know if I buy that
- 0:36Speaker 1: or not, but that's the official narrative. So, with that said,
- 0:41Speaker 1: why don't we get updated and dive into this article
- 0:43Speaker 1: from Deadline and see what's what. Headline, Diddy's Prison Head
- 0:48Speaker 1: Injury Mystery Deepens. Fed deny fight with drug kingpin sent
- 0:52Speaker 1: Grammy Award winner to the hospital. This article was authored
- 0:57Speaker 1: by Dominic Patton. A dust-up with the drug lord was
- 1:01Speaker 1: not what sent Sean Combs to the hospital with a
- 1:03Speaker 1: head injury last week. The Bureau of Prisons insists. However,
- 1:07Speaker 1: the actual cause of the injury and Combs' current status
- 1:11Speaker 1: is under lock and key. Well, here's the thing. Christopher Koch, a.k.a. Dudas,
- 1:20Speaker 1: just had another year tacked on to his sentence. Now,
- 1:25Speaker 1: that could be a coincidence, right? Most certainly could be.
- 1:28Speaker 1: But considering the high nature of what went down allegedly,
- 1:31Speaker 1: I would think that you'd end up getting some more
- 1:34Speaker 1: time for doing something like this. Now, there was no
- 1:38Speaker 1: reason provided for that extension, but you have to think
- 1:41Speaker 1: in the wake of what went down with Diddy that
- 1:43Speaker 1: that might have played a role. So we'll have to
- 1:46Speaker 1: keep an eye on that as well as far as
- 1:49Speaker 1: what occurs with Mr. Koch and his punishment, right? That
- 1:54Speaker 1: might give us some clues as to what went down
- 1:56Speaker 1: with Diddy or what didn't go down with Diddy. So
- 1:59Speaker 1: we'll have to wait for that to all shake out.
- 2:02Speaker 1: One thing that we have to keep in mind is
- 2:03Speaker 1: there's a lot of secrecy when it comes to federal prison.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Not a lot of things are available. They're not going
- 2:09Speaker 1: to give you much information. And even if you hit
- 2:11Speaker 1: them with FOIAs, they're very reticent to turn over information.
- 2:16Speaker 1: They'll claim that it's, you know, security, privacy, the whole thing.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And look, that might be true. But it's also true
- 2:22Speaker 1: that they don't want any outside eyes prying. While for privacy, safety,
- 2:26Speaker 1: and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions
- 2:30Speaker 1: of confinement for any individual in our custody, we can
- 2:33Speaker 1: tell you that the story you are referring to is
- 2:35Speaker 1: false and did not happen. Officials at FCI Fort Dix
- 2:39Speaker 1: in Jersey say of reports by TMZ and others that
- 2:43Speaker 1: Diddy got in a fight on October 9th with fellow
- 2:46Speaker 1: inmate Christopher Koch. The reports claim that the alleged brawl
- 2:49Speaker 1: was over the spotlight in cell sweeps, a recent NBC
- 2:52Speaker 1: News expose on Combs' contraband and high living had brought
- 2:56Speaker 1: down on the minimum security facility, and it's more than 4,200 residents. Look,
- 3:02Speaker 1: that is certainly a way to get the big dog
- 3:05Speaker 1: on campus, if you will, pissed off. I mean, you
- 3:08Speaker 1: have drug bosses in here, God knows who else, and
- 3:11Speaker 1: they're running their businesses still. Don't think for a minute
- 3:14Speaker 1: that these people don't have cell phones, access to the
- 3:17Speaker 1: outside world, and access to anything that you or I have.
- 3:20Speaker 1: They do. There's a lot of corruption when it comes
- 3:24Speaker 1: to the American Bureau of Prisons. And there's a lot
- 3:28Speaker 1: of guards that are on the take. Now, that doesn't
- 3:30Speaker 1: mean all of them are. That's certainly not the case.
- 3:33Speaker 1: There's a lot of honest, hardworking people that work for
- 3:36Speaker 1: the Bureau of Prisons. But there's some bad apples. And
- 3:40Speaker 1: those people cause all kinds of chaos. I mean, how
- 3:43Speaker 1: do you think cell phones get into the prison? How
- 3:45Speaker 1: do you think drugs get in there? Any contraband? It's
- 3:48Speaker 1: not all being stuffed, if you will, and being, you know,
- 3:51Speaker 1: mulled in by people who go to the bathroom and
- 3:55Speaker 1: remove the package, right? This stuff's being brought in by
- 3:58Speaker 1: corrupt guards. And then they're getting profit from what gets sold.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And that's been going on in the prison system for
- 4:05Speaker 1: a very long time. And if you have somebody like
- 4:07Speaker 1: Diddy that shows up and disrupts all of that, there's
- 4:11Speaker 1: going to be a lot of people that want to
- 4:12Speaker 1: get some get back. Koch may not have been involved,
- 4:16Speaker 1: but clearly something went down. because Combs was taken to
- 4:19Speaker 1: a local hospital early on October 10th with something wrong
- 4:22Speaker 1: with his noggin. You know, I was thinking that maybe
- 4:25Speaker 1: it was one of Coke's guys. Like, Coke ordered the attack,
- 4:29Speaker 1: and one of his henchmen carried it out. That's possible. Like,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I had a hard time believing that Mr. Coke himself
- 4:36Speaker 1: is going to put hands on Diddy, because that ends
- 4:39Speaker 1: up getting him in big time trouble, right? Kind of
- 4:41Speaker 1: hard to run your enterprise, your business, from the hole.
- 4:45Speaker 1: So a lot of these guys obviously don't want to
- 4:47Speaker 1: end up in solitary. So I don't know if it
- 4:51Speaker 1: was Coke himself who put his hands on Diddy, but
- 4:54Speaker 1: somebody that was associated with Coke, that's very possible too.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And again, look, we're just spitballing. We don't have all
- 5:00Speaker 1: the information. Now I'm sure that information is going to
- 5:03Speaker 1: come out. Somebody in the jail is going to talk
- 5:06Speaker 1: and we're going to get the real story at some point.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But right now it's still touch and go. He returned
- 5:13Speaker 1: to Fort Dix about 12 hours later without stitches or
- 5:17Speaker 1: any noticeable treatment, I'm told. Since then, the whole situation
- 5:20Speaker 1: has gone on lockdown, literally and figuratively. And originally, when
- 5:25Speaker 1: this story came across my desk, they were saying that
- 5:27Speaker 1: he hit his head on the top bunk. You know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: stood up, hit his head, had to go to the hospital.
- 5:33Speaker 1: But now we got this other story that Diddy got
- 5:36Speaker 1: his ass beat. So I think that somewhere in the
- 5:38Speaker 1: middle of all of that is the truth. What that
- 5:41Speaker 1: truth is, well, I have no idea. Convicted by an
- 5:45Speaker 1: NYC jury of two counts of transportation to engage in
- 5:48Speaker 1: prostitution in July of 2025 at the end of a
- 5:51Speaker 1: lurid and violence-detailing trial, Combs was sentenced in September 2025
- 5:56Speaker 1: to a 50-month stint, with time served. With a release
- 6:00Speaker 1: date that has gone back and forth since, Diddy currently
- 6:03Speaker 1: scheduled to be released on March 2nd, 2028. So look,
- 6:08Speaker 1: he's probably gonna get that Date, right? He's probably going
- 6:12Speaker 1: to get out right around then. Now, it might get
- 6:14Speaker 1: moved a little bit, one month here, one month there.
- 6:17Speaker 1: But I think at this point, that's around the time
- 6:20Speaker 1: you can expect Diddy coming home. It's extremely rare for
- 6:23Speaker 1: the BOP to reveal anything about a prisoner, no matter
- 6:26Speaker 1: how high profile they are. Yet in the Combs case
- 6:29Speaker 1: and leaks about what went down last week, it seems
- 6:32Speaker 1: some information or misinformation allegedly was coming from inside Fort
- 6:37Speaker 1: Dix and officials felt compelled And that's exactly what you
- 6:42Speaker 1: should expect from the BOP. Like I was saying earlier,
- 6:43Speaker 1: they very rarely give out any kind of information. Not
- 6:45Speaker 1: something they're into doing. Because they don't want to open
- 6:48Speaker 1: themselves up to legal trouble, right? They don't want people
- 7:10Speaker 1: suing them, they don't want family members going after them,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and they don't want the situation to mushroom and get
- 7:16Speaker 1: out of control. So the policy is, keep your mouth shut.
- 7:22Speaker 1: In fact, even those close to Combs have little information
- 7:25Speaker 1: I've learned. We appreciate the BOP's clarification, which confirms our
- 7:29Speaker 1: concerns about the accuracy of the initial reports. Combs spokesperson
- 7:34Speaker 1: Judah Engelmeyer told Deadline on Thursday. I wonder if Judah Engelmeyer...
- 7:39Speaker 1: is related to Judge Engelmeyer. Be an interesting link, huh?
- 7:45Speaker 1: We have not independently verified the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident,
- 7:49Speaker 1: and I don't want to speculate about what may or
- 7:52Speaker 1: may not have happened. At this point, we have not
- 7:54Speaker 1: verified information indicating that Sean was attacked by Christopher Koch
- 7:58Speaker 1: or anyone else, or that he sustained injuries. So, kind
- 8:02Speaker 1: of clouded, right? Two competing storylines. Did Diddy get attacked
- 8:06Speaker 1: or didn't he? Did he have an accident? Did he fall?
- 8:09Speaker 1: Did he hit his head? Or was he attacked by
- 8:11Speaker 1: Christopher Coke or somebody else? And as of right now,
- 8:15Speaker 1: we just don't have that information. Combs has been in
- 8:18Speaker 1: solitary confinement since images of him with a smuggled in
- 8:22Speaker 1: smartphone and other luxuries were made public. Stuck in the shoe,
- 8:26Speaker 1: special housing unit as it's termed, Combs has very limited
- 8:29Speaker 1: communication with the outside world. That communication is limited by
- 8:34Speaker 1: design and by choice it seems. Yeah, once you're in solitary,
- 8:38Speaker 1: you know, you're locked down basically. Now, of course, you
- 8:41Speaker 1: have some rights still. You're going to be able to
- 8:44Speaker 1: go eat. You got to go out every now and then.
- 8:46Speaker 1: But when you're in solitary, there's a reason. More times
- 8:49Speaker 1: than not, you've broken the rules and now you're being punished.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Think about it like being grounded when you're a kid.
- 8:55Speaker 1: You got to go to your room. Got to go
- 8:58Speaker 1: to your room now. You're grounded for a week. Same
- 9:01Speaker 1: kind of deal. Over the past week, Diddy has not
- 9:05Speaker 1: used the daily call he's permitted to touch base with
- 9:07Speaker 1: his attorneys, nor has he contacted other reps from Solitary.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Because 56-year-old Combs is over 18, the Bureau of Prisons
- 9:17Speaker 1: is not required to pass along any info to anyone
- 9:19Speaker 1: about him. To put it simply, if Combs wants someone,
- 9:23Speaker 1: anyone to know what's going on, it's his call to make.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So that's interesting too. Maybe Diddy's embarrassed. Maybe he doesn't
- 9:30Speaker 1: want anyone knowing that he got his ass beat That'll
- 9:34Speaker 1: kind of damage the image, right? The tough guy image
- 9:37Speaker 1: that he tries to broadcast. Can't be getting your ass
- 9:40Speaker 1: beat if you're some kind of tough guy. The Bad
- 9:44Speaker 1: Boy Records founder has not been making that call. The
- 9:48Speaker 1: mitigating factor might be when he's released from the shoe.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Unless there's another incident, Combs will be in solitary confinement
- 9:54Speaker 1: for at least one more week, sources say. So that
- 9:57Speaker 1: has to do with the contraband, right? It has nothing
- 10:00Speaker 1: to do with this fight. Now, if he gets some
- 10:02Speaker 1: time added onto it, that might give us a little
- 10:05Speaker 1: bit more of an idea of what went down. In
- 10:08Speaker 1: the free world, and having failed to secure a pardon
- 10:11Speaker 1: from old party pal Donald Trump, Combs is pursuing a
- 10:14Speaker 1: fast-track appeal of his case. At the same time, the
- 10:18Speaker 1: much-accused three-time Grammy winner is battling multiple civil suits and
- 10:22Speaker 1: a possible sexual battery indictment by the LA district attorney.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Now that's something I've been keeping an eye on. And
- 10:29Speaker 1: I think that Diddy might be in some jeopardy. I
- 10:33Speaker 1: think that it's going to be some very dangerous waters,
- 10:37Speaker 1: if you will, for Diddy when it comes to this
- 10:39Speaker 1: possible indictment. Now that doesn't mean that it's definitely going
- 10:43Speaker 1: to go down, but I think they have enough information
- 10:46Speaker 1: and they're building a pretty strong case. Now keep in mind,
- 10:50Speaker 1: they had a pretty strong case against Diddy when it
- 10:52Speaker 1: comes to the trafficking and Rico as well, and we
- 10:55Speaker 1: see how that ended up. So there's nothing that's a guarantee.
- 10:59Speaker 1: But it's certainly something that's troubling for Diddy, without a doubt.
- 11:05Speaker 1: After a trial in the summer of 2025, the Southern
- 11:08Speaker 1: District of New York U.S. Attorney's Office fell far short
- 11:11Speaker 1: in its efforts to convince a Manhattan jury that Combs
- 11:14Speaker 1: was guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. If
- 11:19Speaker 1: Combs had been found guilty in the trial, full of
- 11:21Speaker 1: film sex parties and freak-offs, Cassie Ventura beating, drug binges, threats,
- 11:26Speaker 1: exploding cars, and allegedly hanging people off of balconies, the
- 11:30Speaker 1: one-time mini-mogul could have received a life sentence. And look,
- 11:35Speaker 1: that was certainly something that was on the table. The
- 11:38Speaker 1: problem was, the prosecution couldn't get it done. Not having
- 11:42Speaker 1: Coram come in, you know, we talked about this a
- 11:44Speaker 1: little bit, but not having her up on the stand
- 11:46Speaker 1: was a big deal. If you're going to say a
- 11:48Speaker 1: guy's running a Rico enterprise, then you have to bring
- 11:52Speaker 1: charges against other people, the co-conspirators, the captains, if you will.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And we didn't see that. And not only that, they
- 11:59Speaker 1: lost one of the accusers and her testimony. She decided
- 12:04Speaker 1: she wasn't going to testify. And that was a big shot.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And that really helped Diddy's defense out a whole lot.
- 12:11Speaker 1: And we see what the end result was. So when
- 12:14Speaker 1: it comes to Diddy, and charges against them, especially the
- 12:17Speaker 1: second time around, they better have things locked in. But
- 12:20Speaker 1: as far as what happened to Diddy in this prison,
- 12:23Speaker 1: we just don't know yet. So we'll keep an eye
- 12:26Speaker 1: on it, and when we get some updates, we'll get
- 12:28Speaker 1: those added to the catalog as well. All the information
- 12:32Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 12:34Speaker 1: description box.
