- 0:00Speaker 1: I'm so glad you're here. As the person who currently
- 0:03Speaker 1: occupies your attention. I would like to thank you for
- 0:06Speaker 1: listening to John Jaye Rich.
- 0:09Speaker 2: She already got married, you know, with the big thing
- 0:11Speaker 2: with the day in Vegas. But the actual, like kind
- 0:13Speaker 2: of the real part of it is this weekend.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Yeah, we're Saturday.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Yeah, on Saturday, we're having a like a party, a
- 0:19Speaker 3: reception kind of after party, and it's gonna be kind
- 0:23Speaker 3: of open house. People can come through, eat, hang out.
- 0:25Speaker 3: We have a lot of fun stuff that we're gonna
- 0:27Speaker 3: be doing. I'm going to decorate the house. It's gonna
- 0:28Speaker 3: be really excited, but I am pretty nervous about it
- 0:31Speaker 3: because it's a pretty big party and it's really the
- 0:33Speaker 3: first big party that I'm throwing by myself without having
- 0:36Speaker 3: like I think, like the last big, big party I
- 0:38Speaker 3: had was my high school graduation party, and my mom
- 0:40Speaker 3: handled all that.
- 0:41Speaker 4: That's legendary though, the high school graduation exactly.
- 0:44Speaker 3: So you can only imagine how great I want this
- 0:46Speaker 3: to be, you know. And I don't know if it's
- 0:49Speaker 3: the stress that's breaking down, the breaking down my body,
- 0:53Speaker 3: or if I'm catching a little cold or something like
- 0:55Speaker 3: one of my besties, she was a little under the weather,
- 0:57Speaker 3: So I'm like, I hope you didn't get me sick.
- 0:59Speaker 3: But I also feel like the stress is starting to like.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Could you have COVID?
- 1:04Speaker 5: No?
- 1:04Speaker 6: She could?
- 1:05Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, I'm vaccinate. Is it take all
- 1:12Speaker 3: this negative sickness out of the inn?
- 1:16Speaker 7: Stress?
- 1:16Speaker 8: Does?
- 1:17Speaker 9: I think definitely make your immune system weaker. So if
- 1:20Speaker 9: you were if you're stressed out in your immune system's
- 1:22Speaker 9: weekend and you were around your bestie who was kind
- 1:24Speaker 9: of saying you need to start like taking emergency and
- 1:27Speaker 9: extra vitamins.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And SODA's drinking a lot on Saturday and Sunday lowers
- 1:32Speaker 2: your immune system today to no, I mean Monday.
- 1:36Speaker 3: But I don't know. It's been really fun to kind
- 1:38Speaker 3: of set this whole up and you know, throw something
- 1:40Speaker 3: and do something for our friends and family. But I
- 1:43Speaker 3: the stress has gotten even more because my makeup artist
- 1:47Speaker 3: that I've had locked in for the last couple of
- 1:49Speaker 3: months is out of town this weekend and she's not
- 1:53Speaker 3: able to do my makeup, and I'm kind of freaking
- 1:55Speaker 3: out because I'm half black and I'm half white, and
- 1:59Speaker 3: I always struggle when I get my makeup done because
- 2:01Speaker 3: I always come out super pale, like whatever makeup artists
- 2:04Speaker 3: I have just can't get down.
- 2:06Speaker 7: Is it the makeup art make up for your shower?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yeah, she's not there.
- 2:10Speaker 7: She I was like, your makeup looks amazing.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I know, I know, I know, and I'm so sad,
- 2:17Speaker 3: but I want to look good in real life too,
- 2:19Speaker 3: you know what I mean. So I'm kind of pressed
- 2:22Speaker 3: out about that because I'm like, it shouldn't be that
- 2:25Speaker 3: hard to find an MUA for black girls out here,
- 2:27Speaker 3: shouldn't be that dumb, but it is hard out here
- 2:30Speaker 3: in these streets, I promise you. So, if anyone has
- 2:33Speaker 3: a good m u a that can work on you know,
- 2:35Speaker 3: darker complexion, please look.
- 2:36Speaker 2: So if you don't find one, you're gonna do your
- 2:38Speaker 2: own makeup.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I'll probably have my sister do it or something, or
- 2:40Speaker 3: I'll have Kadem's sister do it. But I don't want
- 2:42Speaker 3: to have them do that. I don't want to be
- 2:43Speaker 3: all glammed up and look like a battie. And then
- 2:46Speaker 3: on top of it, I'm kind of stressed out because
- 2:48Speaker 3: yours know, like all the tariffs and stuff.
- 2:51Speaker 7: I don't even know what.
- 2:52Speaker 3: A tariff is from politics, Yeah right, okay, tariffs and politics.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Right.
- 2:56Speaker 3: So I was on Etsy like two weeks ago, and
- 2:58Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my gosh, I have to get one
- 3:00Speaker 3: of those cute LED light signs that say the Stricklands, right,
- 3:04Speaker 3: we can put it over the bar all that stuff.
- 3:07Speaker 3: So I'm so excited. I spent two hundred dollars on
- 3:09Speaker 3: this stupid led Right then I get an email from
- 3:14Speaker 3: UPS yesterday saying that my package will not be delivered
- 3:18Speaker 3: until I pay a tariff fee. And I'm like, so,
- 3:22Speaker 3: you're telling me I just spent two hundred bucks on
- 3:24Speaker 3: this light that's apparently stuck in Dubai right now, twenty
- 3:29Speaker 3: dollars to UPS so I could get my thing because
- 3:33Speaker 3: of the tariffs.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Here's what you do. You just call up my wife,
- 3:36Speaker 4: Stacy Barrett. She loves yelling at FedEx and UPS. She
- 3:38Speaker 4: does it like half her day.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Do you think she can get in touch with the UPS?
- 3:41Speaker 4: You scared them. You're delivering more things than she's ever ordered.
- 3:45Speaker 2: How much is the tariff?
- 3:46Speaker 3: It was twenty dollars for me to pay to release
- 3:50Speaker 3: my goods.
- 3:52Speaker 9: Because, like you figure, you already paid for shipping when
- 3:54Speaker 9: you bought it on Etsy.
- 3:56Speaker 3: You're telling me Kyle and I don't even think it's
- 3:59Speaker 3: gonna here in time. So what do I need the
- 4:02Speaker 3: Strickland life for? I don't. I don't even need it.
- 4:04Speaker 2: It's not like you can't use it after my later
- 4:07Speaker 2: for what.
- 4:09Speaker 9: That's cute because if you guys, like because you and
- 4:11Speaker 9: Kadimar are planning on buying a house at some point
- 4:13Speaker 9: pretty soon down the road, if you had like a
- 4:16Speaker 9: little office or game room or something that's perfect to
- 4:19Speaker 9: put up on the wall.
- 4:20Speaker 2: All right, it's John Jay and Rich.
- 4:22Speaker 10: The next segment we're going to do is called Second
- 4:24Speaker 10: Date Update because that's what we're going to try and
- 4:27Speaker 10: get and that's what the bit is called.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Second Date Update starts right now on John Jay and Ridge.
- 4:33Speaker 2: One O four to seven Kiss f M, John Jay
- 4:35Speaker 2: and Rich. It's time for Second Ate Update. You meet
- 4:36Speaker 2: somebody gone on a great date, think there's going to
- 4:38Speaker 2: be a second date. It doesn't happen. You don't know
- 4:40Speaker 2: why you see you come to us if you want
- 4:42Speaker 2: to hear your story. We'ere to call a person that's
- 4:44Speaker 2: plowing you off.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Jory, Hello, Hey, how's it going.
- 4:47Speaker 2: How's it going? Jory?
- 4:49Speaker 11: I'm matched with this girl on hinge and like I'm
- 4:52Speaker 11: not even joking, like I was talking to this girl
- 4:54Speaker 11: and we were getting so into it, like this could
- 4:57Speaker 11: be like my future wife. Like I I told my
- 5:00Speaker 11: mom about her after like the first day, which is
- 5:04Speaker 11: like super super crazy because like normally, you know, my
- 5:07Speaker 11: family doesn't even hear about me going out with girls
- 5:10Speaker 11: until like I've been with them for like a year,
- 5:12Speaker 11: and so like it was so great, Like we went
- 5:15Speaker 11: to this Chinese place that she had picked out, and
- 5:19Speaker 11: it was awesome. Like we were talking and like sharing
- 5:22Speaker 11: plates and like laughing and you know, kind of like
- 5:25Speaker 11: trauma dumping just a little bit to like kind of
- 5:28Speaker 11: like build a connection, but like not to a point
- 5:30Speaker 11: where like we would like concern the waiter or anything
- 5:32Speaker 11: like that. And then yeah, after that, we decided, hey,
- 5:38Speaker 11: let's go like check out this like trendy bar downtown.
- 5:41Speaker 11: You know, like there's places that like smokes coming out
- 5:44Speaker 11: of the cocktails for no reason. And like we're there
- 5:48Speaker 11: for like an hour, and like we we uber at
- 5:51Speaker 11: home and then like we were we were saying goodbye
- 5:54Speaker 11: and like I kind of leaned in for a kiss
- 5:56Speaker 11: and like, I don't know, it just kind of like
- 5:59Speaker 11: at that point it felt like she was like donating
- 6:01Speaker 11: that kiss to charity, like it wasn't like a real
- 6:05Speaker 11: kid like kind of like community service, you know, Like
- 6:08Speaker 11: just at that moment, just everything kind of changed. And
- 6:12Speaker 11: then she stopped texting me back, and then like I'm like,
- 6:15Speaker 11: what did I do wrong? I thought that we were
- 6:18Speaker 11: having an awesome time, Like you know, I'm just trying
- 6:20Speaker 11: to like figure out at what point I lost her.
- 6:24Speaker 2: So, not that I don't understand your euphanism, if it will,
- 6:28Speaker 2: but so, when you're donating your kiss to charity, does
- 6:31Speaker 2: that mean it wasn't a good kiss or it was
- 6:33Speaker 2: a good kiss.
- 6:34Speaker 11: It felt like it felt like she was forcing.
- 6:36Speaker 3: It out, just like all people are forced to help charity.
- 6:44Speaker 4: What the whatever great vibes you had at some point
- 6:47Speaker 4: wore off before the good night kiss?
- 6:50Speaker 2: Thought during the kiss or before the kiss?
- 6:53Speaker 11: Maybe I guess right, but that's what I noticed.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It you want to hear some weird I just thought
- 6:58Speaker 2: about right now. I just read this article or not.
- 7:01Speaker 2: It was a short article about certain talents that celebrities have,
- 7:05Speaker 2: and Kim Kardashian one of her talents. Do you guys
- 7:08Speaker 2: know about her talent? She can tell if somebody has
- 7:11Speaker 2: a cavity by smelling their breast. Yes, which is so
- 7:15Speaker 2: gross because because this thing, let me see the fact
- 7:19Speaker 2: if that is really your talent, how terrible this smells
- 7:21Speaker 2: them his bad breath all the time. So I mean
- 7:24Speaker 2: what and I just saw that I was fresh in
- 7:25Speaker 2: my mind. It made me think, what if that's the thing.
- 7:27Speaker 2: What if she could smell you have a cavity when
- 7:29Speaker 2: you're kidding and she's like, oh, cavities, My god, the
- 7:32Speaker 2: breath is terrible, have a cavity.
- 7:34Speaker 11: But like, no, I might make a dentists appointment, Like
- 7:37Speaker 11: I know, I didn't. I think my mouth's pretty cleain.
- 7:41Speaker 2: So what's her name. We'll get her on the phone.
- 7:42Speaker 2: We'll find out. Let's find out why. Okay, so you've
- 7:47Speaker 2: reached out to her and she's just ignoring you.
- 7:49Speaker 11: Yeah, she just goes all right, let's.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Get Lauren on the phone. Guys, let's just do it.
- 7:53Speaker 2: A thank you, all right, let's just do it. Let's
- 7:55Speaker 2: find out by Lawrence blowing them off. Second ate update
- 7:58Speaker 2: continues next with John Jay and Rich.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Jay and Rich, we're like a whole vie.
- 8:02Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich, we're in the middle of second update.
- 8:04Speaker 2: You got Jory who went on a date with Lauren
- 8:07Speaker 2: through Hinge.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Well, they met on Hinge and she gave so many
- 8:11Speaker 4: whitey vibes that Jory actually called his mom to tell
- 8:17Speaker 4: her about Lauren. But like the Chinese food that they
- 8:21Speaker 4: had together, the fullness wore off in an hour, and
- 8:24Speaker 4: she was hungry for a different relationship. Now he's wondering
- 8:28Speaker 4: where did the vibes go. That's why we're here right
- 8:32Speaker 4: now to find out.
- 8:33Speaker 2: All right, Joey going to call Lauren right now, Casey,
- 8:35Speaker 2: stay quiet when we get it on the phone and
- 8:36Speaker 2: find out why she's blowing you off. All right?
- 8:38Speaker 11: Okay?
- 8:55Speaker 12: Hello, Hi?
- 8:57Speaker 3: Is this Lauren?
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yes?
- 9:00Speaker 3: Hi, my name is Peyton. I'm with John Jaye Rich
- 9:02Speaker 3: and we just wanted to talk to you about something
- 9:04Speaker 3: on the radio. If you're free this morning.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm sure we got a call from a guy who
- 9:09Speaker 2: went on a date with you. Okay. He says that
- 9:13Speaker 2: you're ignoring him, and I think I know why, So
- 9:15Speaker 2: we thought we'd call you to see if I'm right.
- 9:18Speaker 12: Oh okay, okay.
- 9:20Speaker 2: We're talking about a guy named Jury. Sound familiar?
- 9:23Speaker 12: Oh yes, yes, Jory?
- 9:26Speaker 2: Does he have a cavity?
- 9:31Speaker 12: Oh my god?
- 9:32Speaker 6: Okay, what happened?
- 9:34Speaker 12: You want me to talk about the date.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, please.
- 9:38Speaker 12: Okay, Well, I mean I want to say, first of all,
- 9:41Speaker 12: like he was genuinely really really sweet. The date itself
- 9:45Speaker 12: was actually super fun, like who were laughing and oh
- 9:49Speaker 12: my god, the food was amazing and the drinks were
- 9:51Speaker 12: flowing and it really felt easy and natural. But I'm
- 9:56Speaker 12: not gonna lie, Like I realized pretty quickly in person,
- 10:00Speaker 12: I just wasn't super attracted to him romantically, which, like
- 10:05Speaker 12: I felt kind of horrible about because his his pictures
- 10:08Speaker 12: are really good, like you guys like so good, like
- 10:12Speaker 12: this man needs to teach a masterclass on lighting and angles.
- 10:18Speaker 12: But yeah, I think just in person, I realized I
- 10:22Speaker 12: just wasn't into it romantically.
- 10:26Speaker 6: Oh my god.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Oh.
- 10:27Speaker 12: But to make matters absolutely worse, at one point during
- 10:31Speaker 12: the date, I accidentally bean dipped him, and I just
- 10:35Speaker 12: I haven't recovered. I have not recovered. Yes, like you
- 10:41Speaker 12: know when you like scoop like your hands accidentally and
- 10:47Speaker 12: it's like a little bean dip you.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Mean on it his like front side that like like
- 10:54Speaker 2: like the game I used to play with Whose balls
- 10:56Speaker 2: are these?
- 10:58Speaker 3: I'd be more of anything. Get somebody on an e.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Wait, so you actually you mean you you grabbed him
- 11:04Speaker 2: in the front of his area.
- 11:05Speaker 7: No Jo, Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous. I don't
- 11:11Speaker 7: want to know.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Isn't gonna hurt, gonna hurt?
- 11:14Speaker 8: Hurt?
- 11:15Speaker 5: Oh?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Bean Dip does that to me all the time.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I hate that.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Dutch Bean dips me all.
- 11:22Speaker 7: The time on the top, not the front, on.
- 11:24Speaker 2: The boxes goes to it's so it reduces you so
- 11:28Speaker 2: bad because it feels like you have like man boots.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So he goes up underneath your your boob and gop
- 11:34Speaker 2: ter do judge, You'll do it to me a hundred
- 11:36Speaker 2: times a day. Yeah, I'm shocked. I didn't get that
- 11:42Speaker 2: right away.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I mean, do you mind doing it again? That's why
- 11:48Speaker 1: I get it on the video?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Oh god, I hate go ahead. He does it like
- 11:55Speaker 2: he goes. He goes the worst. So did you say
- 12:01Speaker 2: bean dipp? Did you just buy mistake? O? Did you
- 12:03Speaker 2: go Bean Dip? Did you do it?
- 12:04Speaker 13: No?
- 12:04Speaker 12: It was literally an accident. I did it, and then
- 12:08Speaker 12: I was like, oh my god, oh my god, and
- 12:10Speaker 12: like you know, in your head, you're like I just
- 12:12Speaker 12: being dipped someone. But I didn't say it out loud
- 12:14Speaker 12: because I was like, maybe it'll just go away. But
- 12:16Speaker 12: then it was just awkward, Like I felt so embarrassed
- 12:20Speaker 12: the night.
- 12:21Speaker 4: And that didn't get more attractive to you.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, a girl in a romantic setting different doing it.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Wow, that's brutal.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Killed cord dog, You guys, a cord dog somehe do.
- 12:36Speaker 2: We need to know what I should do? Paint and
- 12:38Speaker 2: paint you know what, Cord do. I took your bean dip.
- 12:42Speaker 2: You should take my cord dog. You take your finger
- 12:47Speaker 2: and you poke it in their butt? You go, Cord doc.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Corn do.
- 12:55Speaker 14: Well.
- 12:56Speaker 4: At least dog that didn't happen by mistake, did it, Lauren?
- 13:00Speaker 7: These are always.
- 13:01Speaker 12: Divining that I definitely did not.
- 13:06Speaker 4: That would be tough to recover from.
- 13:08Speaker 6: You gotta get married?
- 13:09Speaker 4: How do you do that? On accident?
- 13:13Speaker 8: Well?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Well, at any rate, I gotta tell you something that
- 13:18Speaker 2: the guy that we're talking about, Jory, he's actually on
- 13:20Speaker 2: the phone.
- 13:21Speaker 11: Jory, I'm super embarrassed.
- 13:24Speaker 7: Why are you embarrassed? There's an accident?
- 13:26Speaker 2: Embarrassed at the angles probably takes bad pictures, like, I mean,
- 13:31Speaker 2: he looks bad.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Yeah, there you go.
- 13:33Speaker 11: And I know that the bean dipping thing, I thought
- 13:36Speaker 11: like I had just like kind of like imagined that
- 13:38Speaker 11: because I was drinking too much. I was like, you know,
- 13:41Speaker 11: is this tequila? Like am I hallucinating?
- 13:45Speaker 12: No, So that definitely happened, and like the second that
- 13:50Speaker 12: it did, I was I like looked away. I was like,
- 13:52Speaker 12: oh my god, like I can't even I can't even
- 13:55Speaker 12: make eye contact with this person.
- 13:58Speaker 11: And see I was just over here being like to
- 14:00Speaker 11: talk about like my mom too much, Like did I do?
- 14:03Speaker 11: Like I couldn't figure out like what I did?
- 14:06Speaker 12: No, Oh my gosh, No, your mom was literally like
- 14:09Speaker 12: a green flag. It was so sweet you're talking about
- 14:12Speaker 12: your mom for the record.
- 14:15Speaker 11: I mean I still would have gone out with you again.
- 14:18Speaker 12: Oh my gosh. Well, jeez, Now I feel really really
- 14:23Speaker 12: bad because you're just you're so mature, you're so sweet,
- 14:26Speaker 12: and like I just literally dipped out after pun intended
- 14:30Speaker 12: dipped out after the bean dip moment. But I I'm.
- 14:36Speaker 15: I feel really bad.
- 14:37Speaker 12: But I just I don't think. I don't think you
- 14:40Speaker 12: want to go out again.
- 14:43Speaker 7: That's very honest.
- 14:44Speaker 4: It's okay. That's how you know. You go out one time,
- 14:46Speaker 4: you know, you know doesn't work, It done work, and you're.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Gonna have a good date and it's still not work out.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Sure, you know, Yeah, totally.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, thank you both.
- 14:55Speaker 11: I've got my answer.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Thanks for going on there with us, both of you.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 14:59Speaker 16: Yeah, thank you.
- 15:00Speaker 2: All right, second, ate.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Update, I have an idea for the show.
- 15:04Speaker 17: Today is your day.
- 15:05Speaker 18: Use the iHeartRadio app and talk back to us right now.
- 15:10Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich Kayton. She's quit drinking a
- 15:12Speaker 2: whole bunch of times on our show.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Yeah I have. I think I've just realized I have
- 15:18Speaker 3: no self control. But I am better, Like I know
- 15:21Speaker 3: how to handle my alcohol a little bit better. Like
- 15:23Speaker 3: I don't really struggle as much as I used to
- 15:26Speaker 3: the day after, except for yesterday. I was struggling a
- 15:30Speaker 3: little bit in the morning because on Sunday I had
- 15:32Speaker 3: my bridal shower and those French seventy fives did me dirty.
- 15:37Speaker 3: But yesterday I also after the show had to go
- 15:40Speaker 3: to the dentist. I had to get two fillings. And
- 15:42Speaker 3: if you guys have ever been hungover at the dentist.
- 15:45Speaker 4: No, I have not. Actually I do not recommend.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I brought like you guys, I was a college athlete.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I played basketball basically my whole life. Going to the
- 15:53Speaker 3: dentist hungover is probably harder than any basketball game.
- 15:56Speaker 4: I have ever played well why.
- 15:59Speaker 3: I mean, I like, okay, so you know what, like
- 16:01Speaker 3: you're kind of hungover and you're not feeling well and
- 16:03Speaker 3: you kind of get like those hot flashes and you
- 16:05Speaker 3: don't feel very good. That was me while I have
- 16:09Speaker 3: these teeth things in my mouth wide open and instruments
- 16:15Speaker 3: thinking my mouth. I was literally trying not to get.
- 16:19Speaker 6: That's the thing.
- 16:19Speaker 7: I don't think you'd be super nauseous.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Your hygh genis that you wear a mask.
- 16:24Speaker 4: I think, what about the booze smell comeing out of
- 16:30Speaker 4: your skin. That's got to be something too, right. They
- 16:33Speaker 4: mouth your mouth, sure, but if you're sweating it all.
- 16:36Speaker 2: They're working in her mouth.
- 16:37Speaker 9: I had a thought where Kim Kardashian, she would have
- 16:40Speaker 9: just been like, whoa, I can smell that from here
- 16:42Speaker 9: exactly those cavities.
- 16:44Speaker 3: So it was mortifying. The whole experience was not enjoyable.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Recommend why why do you have to cavities to brush
- 16:52Speaker 2: your teeth?
- 16:52Speaker 3: I do brush my teeth and I flost my teeth.
- 16:54Speaker 3: That actually asked them this yesterday. I have always been
- 16:57Speaker 3: someone that gets cavities, ever since I was a kid.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I don't know why. I think I'm just more prone
- 17:02Speaker 3: to having them. And I asked him, I said, I
- 17:04Speaker 3: don't get it, like I'm tired of Maybe you.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Need to change the way you brush your teeth.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I feel like I scrub pretty well.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I feel like it must be something you got an
- 17:11Speaker 4: electric toothbrush.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I don't. I don't like the electric toothbrush. I don't
- 17:14Speaker 3: feel like it does the job.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Well. What you're doing now doesn't do the job either.
- 17:17Speaker 3: I'm back there scrub a dubbing. I've literally brushed my
- 17:20Speaker 3: teeth so hard before that, Like I like rip my
- 17:23Speaker 3: gums were.
- 17:24Speaker 2: You're not supposed to do.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I know, I know.
- 17:27Speaker 2: If you're getting If you don't like the results you're
- 17:29Speaker 2: getting and you're doing the same thing, you need to
- 17:30Speaker 2: change what you're doing.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I think you're right. He had told me, though, He
- 17:33Speaker 3: was like, don't rinse out your mouth after you brush
- 17:35Speaker 3: your teeth, because the like whatever's in the toothpaste, like
- 17:39Speaker 3: if you rinse it with water, it takes that off.
- 17:41Speaker 9: I also feel like I've heard some people are more
- 17:44Speaker 9: prone to cavities, Like it's just like something with your
- 17:47Speaker 9: enamel or how the teeth are actually made up.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Do you think I want cavities because I don't.
- 17:53Speaker 7: That's terary.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Trying to think of the worst place to be hungover.
- 17:56Speaker 2: The words like going to the densist. Pant's pretty bad, dentist.
- 18:00Speaker 7: That sounds miserable.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I remember going to work when I worked at the
- 18:03Speaker 2: chick ashing Place and I was hungover, and I would
- 18:05Speaker 2: just lay on the floor and make the door be closed.
- 18:08Speaker 2: You know how when you open the door, a bell
- 18:10Speaker 2: goes on. But the door at the chick ash place
- 18:12Speaker 2: she used to just be open so people can come in,
- 18:14Speaker 2: and I had the button would close the door behind class.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I'd close the door. I just lay on the floor
- 18:17Speaker 2: and then when I heard the bell, I'd be like, oh,
- 18:19Speaker 2: I'd had to get up and lean up. I'd pop
- 18:21Speaker 2: up from behind the counter. Hello, I'm just taking it out.
- 18:25Speaker 9: I would think the worst place would be like if
- 18:27Speaker 9: I had to like volunteer at my kids school, or.
- 18:29Speaker 4: That'd be bad. Oh God, what if you're a spin
- 18:32Speaker 4: class instructor got to get those wheels?
- 18:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, workouts when you're hungover is also not fine.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Beverly, you're on the air, good.
- 18:40Speaker 16: Morning, Good morning. So I was just listening to Peyton
- 18:44Speaker 16: say she brushes and flosses, and she gets cavities. And
- 18:47Speaker 16: my best friend was the same way and her whole life,
- 18:51Speaker 16: she was so good at taking care of her teeth,
- 18:54Speaker 16: but she always had cavities. And she finally got her
- 19:00Speaker 16: saliva tested and she had sugary saliva. Like there is
- 19:05Speaker 16: something in her saliva. It wouldn't matter how often she
- 19:10Speaker 16: brushed or floss something in her saliva was like sugary
- 19:14Speaker 16: and it coated her teeth and CAVITYH Well, I'm going to.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Say no because I feel like I tried to do
- 19:20Speaker 3: a really good job and it is an insecurity that's
- 19:22Speaker 3: mine for sure, So maybe I'd get my saliva test. Thanks, Beverly.
- 19:26Speaker 16: Like I don't know what it. I know, I wish
- 19:28Speaker 16: I knew, like you know what the test was or
- 19:30Speaker 16: what it was, but at least provided her an answer
- 19:33Speaker 16: because she just was like, I promise I'm brushing. I
- 19:36Speaker 16: promise I'm brushing. But there was nothing that she could do.
- 19:39Speaker 16: I mean, it literally was her chemical makeup in her body.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Well, Beverly, thanks for calling in check it out. Thank you, Beverly,
- 19:46Speaker 2: Thank you eight seven seven nine three one four seven

- 20:48Speaker 13: Have you ever heard of the Uncle Bear's tap room
- 20:50Speaker 13: that's in like Gilbert mesa Issh area. Yeah, so my
- 20:56Speaker 13: boss and I we we ran cable for that entire
- 21:00Speaker 13: her building and been built from the grown up. So
- 21:04Speaker 13: it was like bare bones, hungover as crap, middle of summer.
- 21:10Speaker 13: And I'm my boss only employee. So and he knew,
- 21:14Speaker 13: he knew it was over. He knew it wasn't the first.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Time, and and and that was that was something to say,
- 21:23Speaker 6: that was horrible.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yeah again, laying five while you're hungover? Oh yeah, Sydney,
- 21:31Speaker 2: worst place to be hungover?
- 21:33Speaker 15: Hi, Yeah, I have a story.
- 21:34Speaker 19: So I was visiting Tennessee with my ex girlfriend. The
- 21:40Speaker 19: night before we came back, we went to some bars,
- 21:44Speaker 19: so we had to fly back home that next morning.
- 21:47Speaker 19: It was a two hour drive to the airport. I
- 21:49Speaker 19: was having them stop constantly to pull over.
- 21:52Speaker 6: And throw up.
- 21:55Speaker 19: We got to the airport still sick throughout their whole flight.
- 22:00Speaker 19: At the end of the flight, I felt it coming
- 22:02Speaker 19: up again. I stood up and I threw up myself. Yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 1: The worst.
- 22:12Speaker 6: Yeah, that terrible minutes.
- 22:15Speaker 19: And I didn't have a change of clothes, so I
- 22:17Speaker 19: was just sitting.
- 22:17Speaker 3: There with throw up.
- 22:18Speaker 7: You go, people next to you have to smell it.
- 22:23Speaker 2: The worst place to be hungover probably an airplane.
- 22:25Speaker 4: And that's for everybody else too.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Yes, thank you, Sidney gross Kerrie, Hello, Hi, good morning. Hi.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Where were you hungover?
- 22:36Speaker 20: H worst place ever? High school reunion back in Ohio
- 22:42Speaker 20: and we had uh relived our last night of graduation
- 22:48Speaker 20: and gone to Cedar Point the very next day after
- 22:53Speaker 20: the reunion, right, and the wine was flow and everyone
- 22:57Speaker 20: was having a great time. My husband decided he was
- 23:01Speaker 20: gonna tag along, so he basically had to baby me
- 23:05Speaker 20: the whole evening after it was over, and then we
- 23:08Speaker 20: all head out to Cedar Point and he's like, oh, no,
- 23:12Speaker 20: you're gonna pay, You are gonna pay. It was the
- 23:15Speaker 20: worst feeling ever. He's like, you have to ride these
- 23:18Speaker 20: roller coasters.
- 23:19Speaker 6: You brought me here.
- 23:20Speaker 20: I don't care if you're hungover or not.
- 23:23Speaker 6: You are riding these rides.
- 23:25Speaker 20: And he made me ride them until finally, at about noon,
- 23:29Speaker 20: I said, it's time for the beer garden. I've suffered long.
- 23:32Speaker 6: Enough and you made it.
- 23:34Speaker 4: You did it.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I did it.
- 23:37Speaker 20: I had to. I mean, that was my payback.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Wow, you know how to rally girls that I gotta tay.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Something happened to me just now. A couple of days ago,
- 23:46Speaker 2: I saw on Instagram. I saw this certain post and
- 23:49Speaker 2: I didn't really focus on it a couple You know
- 23:51Speaker 2: how you're scrolling, you see something, you move on. So
- 23:54Speaker 2: I see this post and I was like, after I
- 23:56Speaker 2: moved on, I went back and I couldn't find it.
- 23:58Speaker 2: So I found it just I was going to the
- 24:00Speaker 2: bathroom a little bit ago, and as guys, do you
- 24:03Speaker 2: stand at the urinal and You're stand at the urinal
- 24:05Speaker 2: and you're looking at your Instagram scrolling and I see
- 24:07Speaker 2: the post and I'm like, oh, I stop and I go.
- 24:10Speaker 2: So here's what the post says. It says a neurologist says,
- 24:14Speaker 2: if you stick your tongue out for forty seconds, this
- 24:17Speaker 2: clears cortisol faster than any pill or breathing exercises. And
- 24:21Speaker 2: I do breathing exercises all morning. So I'm at the
- 24:24Speaker 2: urinal and I'm like, oh man, So I stick my
- 24:26Speaker 2: tongue out and I'm like like this and forty seconds
- 24:31Speaker 2: a long time. It is at the yurninal reading this
- 24:34Speaker 2: with my tongue out. Now my tongue is starting to
- 24:36Speaker 2: get dry. And I'm all excited about the cortosol, whatever
- 24:39Speaker 2: benefits I'm gonna get. And then I hear this dude
- 24:41Speaker 2: rip one in the stall and I'm like, oh my god,
- 24:45Speaker 2: I'm getting all his boot particles on my tongue. Why
- 24:50Speaker 2: did I try to read this experiment in the bathroom?
- 24:54Speaker 2: And I wish I had paint the toothbrush. Yeah, He's like, oh,
- 25:00Speaker 2: out of myself, so grossed out, but it is something
- 25:03Speaker 2: I definitely want to try.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Yeah, somewhere in a hermetically sealed room.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Yeah, stick your tongue out for forty seconds. This is clear.
- 25:10Speaker 2: You remember when I was a kid, You ever do
- 25:11Speaker 2: that to stick your talent, let it dry, and then
- 25:12Speaker 2: put it back in your mouth. Yes, a really cool feeling.
- 25:16Speaker 13: Yeah, so weird.
- 25:17Speaker 7: I don't know if you said yes, Yeah, I know.
- 25:20Speaker 3: That's like some weird card stuff that I did.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I would let my tongue. You put your tongue this
- 25:25Speaker 2: and let it sit as long as possible to get drive,
- 25:27Speaker 2: and you put it back in your mouth and it
- 25:28Speaker 2: feels weird. You never did that kind of No, it's
- 25:31Speaker 2: got to go longer.
- 25:32Speaker 7: You got to stick out further than that, out for
- 25:34Speaker 7: like five hard hard to.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Like stick like that, and you just wait as long
- 25:39Speaker 2: as you can, and then when you put it back in,
- 25:40Speaker 2: it feels weird.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Stop just yelling at the radio.
- 25:45Speaker 10: Call us eight seven seven nine three seven one o

- 31:32Speaker 15: which I thought you guys might be interested in. So
- 31:36Speaker 15: I had a meeting with my boss. And at the
- 31:40Speaker 15: end of the meeting, as I was signing off, I
- 31:44Speaker 15: said to my boss, I.
- 31:47Speaker 6: Love you.
- 31:49Speaker 14: Meeting and like not even like accidentally like fast either.
- 31:54Speaker 14: It was full on eye contract, clear pronunciation and instead
- 32:01Speaker 14: of just like you know, just trying to like leave
- 32:03Speaker 14: the meeting, like just ending it like a normal person
- 32:06Speaker 14: and forgetting about it, like I got super flustered. I
- 32:10Speaker 14: couldn't figure out how to like how to explain myself
- 32:14Speaker 14: or how to even make an exit. So I just
- 32:16Speaker 14: I doubled down and I told him how much I
- 32:19Speaker 14: love this job, how much this job.
- 32:22Speaker 15: Means to me, am, And it was literally just I
- 32:26Speaker 15: was red in the face. Were you like the most embarrassing.
- 32:29Speaker 4: So the moments before, were you like not paying attention
- 32:32Speaker 4: off on some other world. Are you super tired? What's
- 32:34Speaker 4: happening there?
- 32:36Speaker 15: It was like early in the morning, one of those
- 32:39Speaker 15: like eight a m like meetings, So I was like
- 32:44Speaker 15: a little bit groggy from from.
- 32:46Speaker 4: The morning a morning having a meeting.
- 32:54Speaker 15: It was like, and like, I kid you not, I'm
- 32:56Speaker 15: like the kind of person I worked from home, right,
- 32:59Speaker 15: so I'm like the kind of person somewhere like I
- 33:02Speaker 15: kind of will sleep until ten twenty minutes before I
- 33:06Speaker 15: have to actually be up for work.
- 33:09Speaker 2: So okay, let me, let me, let me try to
- 33:11Speaker 2: get a visual because first, when you started telling the story,
- 33:13Speaker 2: I thought it was over the phone, and the I
- 33:15Speaker 2: love you over the phone happens quite a bit. Then
- 33:17Speaker 2: you said it was like a and then I got
- 33:19Speaker 2: as you were going on, I thought you were in
- 33:20Speaker 2: the room with the person face to face, but it
- 33:22Speaker 2: was a zoom.
- 33:24Speaker 15: Yeah, no, no it was it was a teams meeting.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Oh a teams wow, So do it over like that's weird?
- 33:30Speaker 7: Was everybody else in it in there?
- 33:32Speaker 9: Like, were there other of your coworkers that were like,
- 33:34Speaker 9: oh my gosh. And then now there's gonna be this
- 33:36Speaker 9: rumor swirling around that you guys have got something going.
- 33:38Speaker 1: On, yeah, like, oh no, what we're doing?
- 33:43Speaker 15: Thank goodness no one else was in the call.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Oh yeah, how did your boss respond?
- 33:47Speaker 2: I love you too?
- 33:48Speaker 1: He's like, I've been waiting.
- 33:49Speaker 3: You're like, what moment?
- 33:52Speaker 2: Could I tell you guys? Something? I was in a
- 33:53Speaker 2: meeting the other day speaking of all this technology. I
- 33:55Speaker 2: was in the meeting the other day and Kyle I
- 33:56Speaker 2: was I was thinking of you using this person. So
- 34:00Speaker 2: I'm in this meeting and it's for that, you know
- 34:02Speaker 2: how Kyle's talked a lot about the Death Book. Yeah, right,
- 34:05Speaker 2: so this meeting, I think it's about the Death Book.
- 34:08Speaker 2: This meeting was where so I'm in. It's a small
- 34:11Speaker 2: conference room where a big table. There was four of
- 34:13Speaker 2: us at the table, three of us at the table,
- 34:16Speaker 2: and there was a huge flat screen TV which was
- 34:18Speaker 2: a computer monitor, and on the computer monitor there was
- 34:22Speaker 2: an AI note taker okay, and then there was an assistant,
- 34:27Speaker 2: a real person that was on the zoom, and then
- 34:31Speaker 2: there was a person running the meeting in a live
- 34:33Speaker 2: person and the AI note taker was frantically taking notes
- 34:36Speaker 2: as we were talking. It was fascinating. And then so
- 34:40Speaker 2: we're going over like you know, the the clicking on
- 34:43Speaker 2: the thing and dragging, like well, if you die, this
- 34:45Speaker 2: goes here, and here's who, here's who gets Here's which
- 34:48Speaker 2: kid gets this at what age? And all this stuff.
- 34:50Speaker 2: It was so depressing kind of So the assistant her
- 34:53Speaker 2: name was Lulu. The real assistant who's on the zoom,
- 34:56Speaker 2: her name is Lulu, and the woman that's running the meeting,
- 35:00Speaker 2: Carrie is like, well, Lulu, where are we going to
- 35:03Speaker 2: do this? And Lulu's clicking and dragging, and then Carrie
- 35:06Speaker 2: says something like, well, hey, Lulu, I can't figure this out.
- 35:08Speaker 2: All of a sudden, Lulu comes in the meeting, the
- 35:10Speaker 2: real Lulu. She comes walking in and I'm like, whoa,
- 35:13Speaker 2: I go. I figured you were like another part of
- 35:17Speaker 2: town or like another city or another country or something.
- 35:20Speaker 2: She's like, oh no, I'm in the other room.
- 35:22Speaker 9: Well like why not coming in right?
- 35:25Speaker 2: So I go. So then Carrie says, well, the AI
- 35:28Speaker 2: assistant is taking notes and Lulu is on her computer
- 35:31Speaker 2: in the other room doing all the clicking and dragging,
- 35:33Speaker 2: paying attention to the meeting, and then okay whatever. So
- 35:36Speaker 2: then the meeting continues and all of a sudden, Carri's like,
- 35:38Speaker 2: I'm kind of thirsty. Lulu comes in with a bottle
- 35:40Speaker 2: of water, and I'm like, what day? This is such
- 35:42Speaker 2: a weird. It was so weird because of technology. I've
- 35:45Speaker 2: just expected her to be in Denmark. Was when I
- 35:50Speaker 2: got up to leave, the meeting was over. I see you, Lulu,
- 35:53Speaker 2: I said, see you on the zoom and then I
- 35:54Speaker 2: said see it right and there was the doors, the wall, shirt,
- 35:56Speaker 2: the door. I was like, oh, right over there. It
- 35:59Speaker 2: was really weird. But I didn't say I love you
- 36:01Speaker 2: to her, Carla. I didn't say I love you to her.
- 36:04Speaker 15: You know, maybe it does. I don't know.
- 36:08Speaker 6: You just weren't gee.
- 36:10Speaker 15: I mean, hey, like I said, I'd just woken up
- 36:12Speaker 15: like twenty minutes prior.
- 36:13Speaker 2: So, oh glad you called. Didn't share that story.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Now you have to say it every time, so it
- 36:17Speaker 4: doesn't seem like that was the one weird thing. Just
- 36:20Speaker 4: just double triple, quadruple down.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Hey, thanks for listening. Have a great day.
- 36:24Speaker 15: Who things you too, jummy?
- 36:26Speaker 1: If you get free roses, it's a trap. War of
- 36:31Speaker 1: the Roses starts.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Right now on John Jay and Ridge one to four
- 36:34Speaker 2: seven Kiss FM, John Jay and Rich It's time for
- 36:36Speaker 2: War the Roses. This is where you think so much cheating?
- 36:39Speaker 2: Are you Josh thinks so much cheating. So, Josh, we
- 36:41Speaker 2: want to hear your story. Then we're gonna get very
- 36:44Speaker 2: involved and get you results hopefully. Okay, so what is
- 36:47Speaker 2: your story, Josh, Welcome to War the Roses, John, Jay
- 36:49Speaker 2: and Rich.
- 36:50Speaker 17: My wife and I we've been together for ten years.
- 36:52Speaker 17: We've been married for six okay. We have a son together,
- 36:55Speaker 17: and last weekend he had little league. So I watched
- 36:59Speaker 17: the game on game Changer. It's an app where you
- 37:01Speaker 17: can follow the score, you can watch it live stream.
- 37:04Speaker 17: My wife is the team mom, so she was running
- 37:07Speaker 17: the stream during the game and at one point there
- 37:11Speaker 17: was downtime and I could hear like she was talking
- 37:13Speaker 17: in the background, and I didn't know who she was
- 37:16Speaker 17: talking to. She was on the phone, so turned out
- 37:20Speaker 17: was talking to her sister. She has this new coworker
- 37:22Speaker 17: and he's a guy, and I'm like listening to her
- 37:26Speaker 17: basically gush about this guy while I'm watching my kid's
- 37:30Speaker 17: baseball game. It's kind of brutal. So talking to her
- 37:34Speaker 17: saying how attractive she was, how funny he is, and
- 37:37Speaker 17: excited that they get to work together, and like she
- 37:40Speaker 17: was saying she forgot what it was like to blush.
- 37:44Speaker 17: He's basically you know, turning her on, I guess or something.
- 37:48Speaker 17: But anyway, he's charming.
- 37:51Speaker 2: I also, hey, just real quick, just so I understand
- 37:55Speaker 2: you're you're you're on game changer. Your wife is running it.
- 37:59Speaker 2: You hear her talking to her sister, but it's it's
- 38:01Speaker 2: it's your wife talking about the new coworker, not her
- 38:04Speaker 2: sister talking about the new coworker.
- 38:06Speaker 11: Right, Yes, it's my wife's I'm so flustered about Okay,
- 38:10Speaker 11: I know this guy.
- 38:10Speaker 17: I've seen pictures of this guy.
- 38:11Speaker 11: He's like really cute.
- 38:14Speaker 9: So I understand why it would hurt hearing that, Like,
- 38:17Speaker 9: you don't ever want to hear your spouse talking about
- 38:19Speaker 9: someone else in that way, all excited and attracted. But
- 38:23Speaker 9: then what makes you think she's taken it to the
- 38:25Speaker 9: next level where they've actually done something?
- 38:27Speaker 7: And she started something with him.
- 38:29Speaker 17: Because I brought it up to her, and like she
- 38:32Speaker 17: got defensive about it. And now she's like kind of
- 38:36Speaker 17: like hiding her phone from me. You know, like when
- 38:39Speaker 17: she's on her phone, she's acting different, and.
- 38:43Speaker 4: Well, she's probably I just feel she's probably embarrassed to that.
- 38:47Speaker 4: You maybe she's she's defensive because she knew she hurts
- 38:49Speaker 4: your feelings. She got caught up for sure, and not
- 38:52Speaker 4: that it's like terrible, but I get how you feel.
- 38:56Speaker 4: How you feel. It's probably nothing.
- 38:58Speaker 7: I hope it's not.
- 39:00Speaker 17: I won't lie like I feel completely lost on what.
- 39:02Speaker 13: To do they talk about.
- 39:04Speaker 9: When you sit next to the game changer, you better
- 39:05Speaker 9: watch it because I can definitely hear everything you're saying.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Josh, does she say to you it all? Come on, Josh,
- 39:11Speaker 2: it's Jeff sex John Jay. No, Okay, she did not
- 39:17Speaker 2: say that. Okay, well that's a good sign. That would
- 39:19Speaker 2: be jarring, you know, along those lines. I gotta take
- 39:21Speaker 2: something very similar kind of My wife and I are
- 39:24Speaker 2: going for a walk after we uh it was for breakfast.
- 39:26Speaker 2: We go for a long walk and it was a
- 39:29Speaker 2: nice day and we're walking and there's two dudes running
- 39:32Speaker 2: towards us, are jogging because the weather's nice. They have
- 39:34Speaker 2: their shirts off and they are in shape, right, And
- 39:38Speaker 2: there's a guy maybe six feet tall, and there's another
- 39:40Speaker 2: guy who's got to be six or five and just
- 39:42Speaker 2: think Jacob Glory, a good looking guy. And they're jogging
- 39:46Speaker 2: towards us, and I'm like, look, Blake, the weather's so nice.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I go that people are out jogging and the guy
- 39:51Speaker 2: goes hey, Blake, and she goes hey Nick, and that's
- 39:54Speaker 2: it and I go what what? She goes, Oh, I
- 39:57Speaker 2: know him from the gym. And I was like, okay,
- 40:02Speaker 2: it was just like that was so weird.
- 40:05Speaker 7: How friendly they were.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and I do know and I go, oh
- 40:09Speaker 2: from the like, remember we used to have a cabin
- 40:12Speaker 2: in Pine Top. Yeah, and she let him stay there
- 40:14Speaker 2: before I know, she was in the other room. I'm
- 40:19Speaker 2: just kidding. She was just but I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 40:22Speaker 2: what's up with this good looking dude? She it was
- 40:24Speaker 2: her old trainer, a little fishy around. I'm blushing now.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's in fact, I may even say
- 40:32Speaker 4: this out of turn, but I think it's okay to
- 40:34Speaker 4: be a little protective of your person and a little
- 40:36Speaker 4: jelly when somebody news shows up. I think that could
- 40:39Speaker 4: be a little healthy that you got your guard up
- 40:41Speaker 4: for your man or your woman. I mean, experts will
- 40:44Speaker 4: probably tell you you think you shouldn't, but it's okay
- 40:46Speaker 4: to be like, hey, hey, hey, hey, that's my person
- 40:49Speaker 4: right there. Don't be flirting with my person.
- 40:51Speaker 2: She's hiding her phone.
- 40:52Speaker 7: Now, which is exactly different.
- 40:54Speaker 2: So he feels lost. So Josh, we'll call her up.
- 40:57Speaker 2: We'll do the thing that we do when it's a
- 40:58Speaker 2: when it's a guy checking on a girl. All right,
- 41:01Speaker 2: so you hang tight, we'll get We're gonna get a
- 41:03Speaker 2: number form me you. We'll call her right now. Okay,
- 41:05Speaker 2: all right? So War the Roses continues next with John
- 41:07Speaker 2: Jaye Rich.
- 41:08Speaker 1: John jay and Rich. We're like a whole bu John.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Jane Richel in the middle of War of the Roses.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Here's the deal you got. Josh thinks that his wife
- 41:15Speaker 2: Rachel could be pulling around behind his back. They've been married,
- 41:17Speaker 2: the men together ten years. And the thing is that
- 41:19Speaker 2: they were at a house game Changer work, Huh.
- 41:22Speaker 9: It's basically an app where you can watch the game
- 41:24Speaker 9: and it live streams it. So if you're sitting next
- 41:26Speaker 9: to the camera or anywhere near the camera, you hear everything.
- 41:29Speaker 9: You hear the game and you hear the conversations around
- 41:31Speaker 9: the game.
- 41:31Speaker 2: So his wife was next to the next to the camera,
- 41:34Speaker 2: and you heard her talking to her sister about her
- 41:37Speaker 2: hot coworker that made her blush. Am I right, Josh?
- 41:41Speaker 11: Yes?
- 41:42Speaker 2: And then you brought it up and now she's acting
- 41:44Speaker 2: weird and hiding her phone. Yes, okay, let's go Kyle,
- 41:47Speaker 2: you ready, Let's go.
- 42:06Speaker 7: Hell, Hi, there is Rachel available.
- 42:10Speaker 12: Yes, it's a she perfect good morning.
- 42:12Speaker 7: So my name is Laurie. I'm actually brand new at
- 42:15Speaker 7: this new company called Jan R.
- 42:16Speaker 9: Flowers, and I get to kind of like give you
- 42:18Speaker 9: some great news today. Now I kind of also like
- 42:22Speaker 9: maybe need your help a little bit since I knew
- 42:24Speaker 9: I really need this job and like kind of messed up.
- 42:26Speaker 7: So the great news for you, Rachel is that.
- 42:29Speaker 9: Somebody is really trying to impress you because we have
- 42:32Speaker 9: one of our incredibly romantic flower arrangements going out today.
- 42:36Speaker 9: It's our Fever Dream bouquet. So it's like a dozen
- 42:38Speaker 9: road roses. It's super sexy, and.
- 42:41Speaker 7: Someone's sending it to you.
- 42:42Speaker 9: The only problem is I've got two of these arrangements
- 42:46Speaker 9: going out to Rachel's and I want to make sure
- 42:48Speaker 9: that you don't get like a random message with it,
- 42:51Speaker 9: which would be so weird. Is there any possible way
- 42:54Speaker 9: you you have a name of someone that would maybe
- 42:57Speaker 9: want to surprise you in this way, and then I
- 42:59Speaker 9: can get the right hard to you and and it's
- 43:01Speaker 9: still going to be just like the most beautiful surprise.
- 43:06Speaker 21: I mean, I would think that it's my husband probably.
- 43:11Speaker 12: I mean, it would be nice to do with somebody
- 43:12Speaker 12: else though, right, I'm sure.
- 43:14Speaker 7: I guess it's always good to have a little questions.
- 43:17Speaker 17: Was that supposed to mean, Rachel, it's Josh, But I
- 43:21Speaker 17: don't understand. And what is that supposed to be to
- 43:23Speaker 17: be nice if it was somebody other than your husband? Uh,
- 43:28Speaker 17: we set you up, by the way. You're on a
- 43:30Speaker 17: radio show, by the way, if you didn't know.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you're on John Jaye Rich War the Roses.
- 43:36Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 43:38Speaker 17: Okay, Well, you've been weird ever since the game change
- 43:42Speaker 17: your thing. You've been acting weird and then so we
- 43:45Speaker 17: do this, we call you, we set it up or whatever.
- 43:47Speaker 17: And that's a really weird thing to say, by the way,
- 43:49Speaker 17: because who else would you be sending flowers to other
- 43:53Speaker 17: than me? And then to even say that, after what
- 43:56Speaker 17: we've been.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Through, I.
- 43:59Speaker 7: Could a little more gotten a name.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Yeah, like, we don't have the full answer here.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Well, she said it'd be nice if they came from
- 44:06Speaker 2: somebody else's weird Josh, her husband. Go ahead. I mean
- 44:10Speaker 2: I would feel terrible if I heard what you heard too,
- 44:13Speaker 2: So Rachel, do you mind? Is there somebody else who
- 44:15Speaker 2: do you wish would have sent that to you?
- 44:17Speaker 21: Oh my god, it's I'm just being silly. I'm just joking, like,
- 44:24Speaker 21: are you.
- 44:25Speaker 17: I mean, it's a little confusing because were you joking
- 44:28Speaker 17: with your sister. I mean, you were saying, this guy
- 44:30Speaker 17: makes you blush, and oh my god, you're excited to
- 44:34Speaker 17: like go to work just because he's there.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 44:38Speaker 21: I mean, you're being so extra right now. This is
- 44:41Speaker 21: so so spinning this out of proportion and making like that.
- 44:46Speaker 17: I mean, I'm not though, you're just booking me, and
- 44:48Speaker 17: I mean I'm seriously I really want to know, and
- 44:52Speaker 17: what you said it made me. It made me feel
- 44:55Speaker 17: like I mean, I'm really uneasy about it here. And
- 44:57Speaker 17: you're acting weird and you're acting shady lately. You're not
- 45:00Speaker 17: let me see your phone. You ordered a privacy screen
- 45:02Speaker 17: for your phone so no one can see what it
- 45:04Speaker 17: is what you're texting. I mean, I don't know what
- 45:06Speaker 17: the hell's going on, but I feel disrespected. Does that
- 45:09Speaker 17: make sense?
- 45:10Speaker 21: Okay, I'm completely disrespected, all right, And I'm sorry that
- 45:14Speaker 21: you're feeling disrespected. I just feel like you're doing the absolute.
- 45:17Speaker 15: Most right now, I think that.
- 45:19Speaker 3: This is.
- 45:22Speaker 17: To talk about it, and you ignored me and then
- 45:24Speaker 17: you put a privacy screen, So me doing this is
- 45:27Speaker 17: really not the absolute most. This is kind of like
- 45:29Speaker 17: my last resort.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Yeah, let her answer, though, Josh, She's been trying to
- 45:33Speaker 4: put in perspective for you.
- 45:36Speaker 21: I'm very sorry that I hurt your feelings, Josh. And
- 45:38Speaker 21: I'm not cheating on you. I would never cheat on you.
- 45:41Speaker 21: I have no prims to cheat on you. But have
- 45:45Speaker 21: you never seen somebody who you think is so attractive
- 45:51Speaker 21: and you're just like, they make you blush a little bit?
- 45:53Speaker 12: Not that you would follow.
- 45:54Speaker 21: Up on that, there's not you're not attracted, you wouldn't
- 45:58Speaker 21: act on that attract and but it just it feels
- 46:01Speaker 21: like a little exciting to maybe have a little crush
- 46:03Speaker 21: that there's nothing, there's nothing more than that, not to
- 46:07Speaker 21: the point where.
- 46:08Speaker 11: I'm talking to people about it.
- 46:10Speaker 6: Not really Okay, Okay, it just doesn't feel right.
- 46:14Speaker 17: I don't know, this doesn't It just doesn't feel right
- 46:17Speaker 17: to have you gushing over somebody else like that when
- 46:20Speaker 17: we're married and raising a child.
- 46:22Speaker 15: Gushing is a lot.
- 46:24Speaker 21: Gushing is an exaggeration, you.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Know, it's interesting.
- 46:27Speaker 22: I think I think I think it's funny because you
- 46:30Speaker 22: were eavesed because you could hear makes it so much
- 46:33Speaker 22: worse because I think a conversation between two sisters about
- 46:35Speaker 22: a cute guy, you could be normal, you know, like
- 46:39Speaker 22: it's okay, but you would never talk like that in
- 46:40Speaker 22: front of your husband to your sister.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Right, So it's like, oh, I got this guy. He's
- 46:43Speaker 2: like I could see you know, the kind of the
- 46:45Speaker 2: way guys talk in the locker room, Like guys talking
- 46:48Speaker 2: to the locker room doesn't mean that they're just guys
- 46:50Speaker 2: talking in the locker room. But if you're listening to
- 46:52Speaker 2: what the guys talking the locker room, damn you know
- 46:54Speaker 2: what I mean.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's also not like he was eavesdropping or
- 46:56Speaker 3: trying to smile, like he was just watching his kids
- 46:58Speaker 3: game and she was just you know.
- 47:00Speaker 9: But I feel like this isn't a complete bust here,
- 47:02Speaker 9: Like what I feel like this is actually can be
- 47:06Speaker 9: turned into such a really good thing for your relationship.
- 47:09Speaker 9: See what this is is like an exclamation point, a
- 47:13Speaker 9: highlight to there is maybe some disconnect between you too.
- 47:17Speaker 9: It's like your wife is saying she's excited to like
- 47:20Speaker 9: think about other people and like as much as that hurts,
- 47:24Speaker 9: and she's acknowledging that that hurts, and that probably does.
- 47:27Speaker 7: It's like this could be a wake up call to like.
- 47:29Speaker 9: Hey, maybe me and my wife need to reconnect and
- 47:31Speaker 9: make things more exciting again and look at our own relationship.
- 47:34Speaker 9: And why is it so exciting that she thinks somebody

- 48:26Speaker 4: Right, well, wait when you were going to be a magician.
- 48:28Speaker 2: I went through magician phase.

- 48:55Speaker 16: No.
- 48:55Speaker 2: So do you remember when I was going to kind
- 48:57Speaker 2: of I want to be like a talent scout over talent. Yes,
- 49:00Speaker 2: So I was in this face So I really I
- 49:02Speaker 2: thought it was really good at discovering.
- 49:03Speaker 4: He recruited a guy in the gym that was in
- 49:04Speaker 4: a towel.
- 49:05Speaker 2: That's exactly where I'm gonna go with his story.
- 49:07Speaker 4: I thought he was a what he recruited a guy
- 49:09Speaker 4: in a towel at the gym. He just told him
- 49:11Speaker 4: he's really good looking in a towel. Want to turn
- 49:13Speaker 4: him into a model.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 49:16Speaker 2: So I'm going to send you a picture of this
- 49:17Speaker 2: guy Peyton. Okay, I'm at the gym. This is fifteen
- 49:21Speaker 2: years ago.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Okay, we still have the picture like readily available.
- 49:27Speaker 7: Yes, of course, of course, O yes, why would I
- 49:29Speaker 7: even question?
- 49:30Speaker 2: So I have it ready available and I will post
- 49:32Speaker 2: this online because I bumped into him yesterday.
- 49:34Speaker 7: Oh way, is he a model?
- 49:35Speaker 17: Now?
- 49:36Speaker 2: He's so good looking this okay okay.
- 49:38Speaker 7: Was it like he in finance or something that? Like
- 49:40Speaker 7: very model?
- 49:41Speaker 1: Okay, I see him.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Okay, he looks like he could be on season eight of.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Love Islands exactly.
- 49:46Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 49:47Speaker 3: He's like brown hair, kind of hazel eyes. He's got
- 49:50Speaker 3: a one two, three four five six pack.
- 49:53Speaker 1: He's got it in.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay. So I am getting a haircut at the
- 49:59Speaker 2: barber and I'm sitting the barber chair and I look
- 50:02Speaker 2: and it was and there's this guy like four rolls
- 50:04Speaker 2: and four chairs down and I look at him and
- 50:06Speaker 2: and he's really good looking. And I look a him like,
- 50:08Speaker 2: oh my god, that's the guy I discovered fifteen years
- 50:11Speaker 2: and I discovered so I get all like starstruck. His
- 50:15Speaker 2: name is TJ. And we had it so Peyton. I
- 50:17Speaker 2: remember what was I'm at the gym. This guy comes
- 50:20Speaker 2: walking out of the shower with a tower run his waist,
- 50:23Speaker 2: and I just said, I go, hey, man, I gotta
- 50:24Speaker 2: tice outhing. I'm not hitting on you, but I think
- 50:27Speaker 2: you're really handsome. I think I can make you a model.
- 50:30Speaker 2: She was like, he was like twenty years old, twenty one,
- 50:32Speaker 2: twenty two years old, right, So I'm just like and
- 50:34Speaker 2: he's like, huh. I brought him in. I said, I
- 50:37Speaker 2: got a professional photographer. The picture I just sent you
- 50:40Speaker 2: was from the photo shoot I did with him fifteen
- 50:42Speaker 2: years ago, and you.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Air dropped it to me.
- 50:43Speaker 3: So I'm like, I needed to remove this from my
- 50:45Speaker 3: camera before I get in trouble with my husband, Like,
- 50:47Speaker 3: who is this shirtless dude?
- 50:49Speaker 7: I'm on your phone.
- 50:52Speaker 2: So I took a bunch of pictures with him and
- 50:54Speaker 2: of him, and it was I really thought I could
- 50:56Speaker 2: get HM discovered, and I sent it to modeling agencies
- 50:58Speaker 2: and I was and then surprise, surprise, I kind of
- 51:01Speaker 2: just got tired of that because you're.
- 51:03Speaker 4: Trying to make news anchors too. At the same time.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Oh, that was another way I was going to discover
- 51:06Speaker 2: news anchors. I was really good at that little I
- 51:07Speaker 2: know that TV news is a fading.
- 51:09Speaker 3: Business, So is there anything that's like picking your interest
- 51:12Speaker 3: right now?
- 51:13Speaker 2: But wait? So so I'm sitting there at the barber
- 51:16Speaker 2: shop and I started talking and I'm like, finally, I
- 51:18Speaker 2: tell my barber, I go, do you see that bear
- 51:20Speaker 2: right there? I go and I go, yeah, the really
- 51:23Speaker 2: good look guy in the black shirt. He goes yeah,
- 51:24Speaker 2: and he goes. He says to me. The barber says
- 51:26Speaker 2: to me, that's your man crush, isn't it. And I go, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 51:29Speaker 2: I go, I tried to discover him. It wasn't a
- 51:32Speaker 2: it wasn't an attraction then professional yeah, And he goes,
- 51:34Speaker 2: oh no, no, he's told me about you.
- 51:38Speaker 1: He told me about the middle model.
- 51:41Speaker 2: And I have had the same barber the whole time,
- 51:43Speaker 2: and our paths never crossed.
- 51:46Speaker 9: And he told the barber that he was your man crush.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Yes, that's embarrassing. Yeah, so here he is.
- 51:54Speaker 2: I just said to what he looks like now, Peyton
- 51:56Speaker 2: looks like that. Okay, So his name is TJ. He's
- 51:59Speaker 2: married now, he's got four kids. Hands, he's that hands.
- 52:04Speaker 1: He could definitely still be on love.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Yes, he's almost forty. He's obscenely successful. He does commercial
- 52:12Speaker 2: real estate. He has like Elefante, He's got all these wrestles.
- 52:17Speaker 2: He owns a new place that opened up called pool Boy.
- 52:20Speaker 4: Yeah, that's his place. Taco Places, that's his place.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Yeah. So if you guys when you tried Tuesday there,
- 52:24Speaker 2: he even told me. He goes by the way, he goes,
- 52:27Speaker 2: it's not your normal tacos. He goes, if you come
- 52:29Speaker 2: to Taco Place, I guess, I just want to main
- 52:31Speaker 2: to manage your expectations that he goes, think old school
- 52:33Speaker 2: taco bell and I'm like ground beef. He goes everything
- 52:35Speaker 2: but different, and I go. The women I work with
- 52:38Speaker 2: do a thing and he's like, let me know, so
- 52:39Speaker 2: anyway place, He's like, he just bought this new house
- 52:42Speaker 2: he's got for he just had a assected me reversal
- 52:44Speaker 2: because he wants to have another kid with his wife.
- 52:47Speaker 2: And I'm like, so you're in commercial real estate. He goes, yeah,
- 52:49Speaker 2: I'm in commercial real estate. And I go. He goes, yeah,
- 52:51Speaker 2: the modeling thing didn't work out, I guess, and I go,
- 52:54Speaker 2: but you probably got into commercial real estate because of
- 52:57Speaker 2: what happened on the radio show and he goes O
- 52:59Speaker 2: one hundred percent. Really, well, you're.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Welcome's so funny, head?
- 53:05Speaker 2: What about it? Like he was single at the time.
- 53:07Speaker 2: I don't remember what happened was when I brought him
- 53:10Speaker 2: on to make him a model. I wasn't trying to
- 53:11Speaker 2: find him a girlfriend, but a woman did email and
- 53:15Speaker 2: they're married.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:23Speaker 2: I will post a picture on our Instagram stories. You
- 53:25Speaker 2: can see who is who is? His name is TJ.
- 53:28Speaker 2: So in a way, I kind of successfully did something
- 53:31Speaker 2: once in my life, right right side hustle.
- 53:35Speaker 4: It just it just led down a different open path.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah it did.
- 53:40Speaker 4: It's kind of fun.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah. So if you go to our Instagram John Jay
- 53:43Speaker 2: and rich in our stories or maybe are even our
- 53:46Speaker 2: it's up to pay if you feel it's worthy of
- 53:47Speaker 2: a post.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll see. I don't know, we'll.
- 53:51Speaker 1: See you let me know.
- 53:52Speaker 3: You want a real post, you want a story, I'll
- 53:55Speaker 3: do it.
- 53:55Speaker 2: It's John Jay and rich Rich. I woke up this morning.
- 54:00Speaker 2: I went to bed pretty early yesterday, really early, like
- 54:04Speaker 2: seven fifteen ish, and when I woke up this morning,
- 54:07Speaker 2: I had like miss calls from Peyton and I was like,
- 54:10Speaker 2: oh no, why she's calling me? And then I saw
- 54:13Speaker 2: the Shi had left me a couple voicemail messages, and
- 54:15Speaker 2: just to let you know as we tell this story,
- 54:17Speaker 2: which I think is amazing, the story that Peyton's about
- 54:20Speaker 2: to tell you our boss. When we talk about Mark,
- 54:23Speaker 2: that's our boss. Mark is our boss, and he's a
- 54:27Speaker 2: how would you describe Mark Rich?
- 54:29Speaker 4: Mark is a legend in the radio world, and he's
- 54:33Speaker 4: been around us for the very beginning of the show.
- 54:37Speaker 4: Then he moved to New York. I mean his personality,
- 54:39Speaker 4: his personality, he's very funny, but you know, you dry,
- 54:42Speaker 4: a very dry wit. So sometimes you don't know when
- 54:44Speaker 4: he's kidding, right, he might be hating you, Yeah, he
- 54:47Speaker 4: might taking you apart.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. So so Peyton's wedding, essentially party is next week, right,
- 54:57Speaker 2: you sent everybody in invitation. We know exactly it's a
- 54:59Speaker 2: next Saturday, where it is and everything. It's next Saturday.
- 55:02Speaker 2: So let me play for you the voicemail messages I
- 55:03Speaker 2: got yesterday last night.
- 55:05Speaker 19: John Jay called me back.
- 55:07Speaker 8: Literally, Mark pulled up with his eight kids and his
- 55:10Speaker 8: wife with a fourteen piece cutlery set from kitchen aids.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Okay, So I get that message, and then I get
- 55:17Speaker 2: another message.
- 55:18Speaker 3: John Jay How are you not answering my phone call
- 55:21Speaker 3: right now? Mark literally just pulled up to my house
- 55:25Speaker 3: with a fourteen piece cutlery set from Kitchen Aids.
- 55:28Speaker 6: Call me back.
- 55:31Speaker 7: Why does the cutlery?
- 55:34Speaker 2: First of all, I think Peton might have been a
- 55:36Speaker 2: little under the employerence.
- 55:39Speaker 3: I hadn't been drinking all day. I mean, yesterday was
- 55:43Speaker 3: my bridal shower, and those a French seventy five's did
- 55:46Speaker 3: me dirty. And of course the party doesn't stop with me, right,
- 55:49Speaker 3: So of course we all went after the fact, and
- 55:51Speaker 3: I did have a gummy or two, okay, And I
- 55:56Speaker 3: was really excited because it was on my registry and
- 55:58Speaker 3: I really wanted the most.
- 56:00Speaker 4: A whole family showing up at your doorstep with cutlery.
- 56:03Speaker 4: You might have thought that that wasn't real for at
- 56:05Speaker 4: least a few seconds.
- 56:06Speaker 3: No, when I tell you so, last night is probably
- 56:09Speaker 3: around seven thirty, and the sun was still kind of
- 56:13Speaker 3: up but still kind of coming down, and I'm talking
- 56:14Speaker 3: to my grandma. We're just like debriefing, and I'm sitting
- 56:17Speaker 3: on the couch and we hear the doorbell ring, and
- 56:20Speaker 3: I'm like, it's kind of late for like a Sunday
- 56:22Speaker 3: for someone who be at the house and I look
- 56:24Speaker 3: out to the side and I see like a striped shirt.
- 56:27Speaker 3: So just probably twenty minutes before that, me and my
- 56:29Speaker 3: grandma had actually walked around the neighborhood to give our
- 56:33Speaker 3: neighbors like baked goods to kind of butter them up
- 56:37Speaker 3: for next week, to let them know, hey, we're having
- 56:39Speaker 3: a huge party exactly. And so I'm thinking maybe like
- 56:43Speaker 3: the neighbors are like stopping by, and so I get
- 56:46Speaker 3: up and I'm in my pajamas and I open up
- 56:49Speaker 3: the door. And when I open up the door, it's
- 56:53Speaker 3: our boss Mark, all of his kids and his wife
- 56:58Speaker 3: with this huge gift. And I'm like looking i him
- 57:01Speaker 3: and I'm like, what is going on?
- 57:03Speaker 4: I was like, why are you here?
- 57:05Speaker 7: And He's like, it's kind of casual for you.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Soot it was the party next week and he came
- 57:13Speaker 3: a week early.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Okay, we have our boss Mark on the line. Good
- 57:17Speaker 2: morning Mark. Hello, So can you tell us your point
- 57:22Speaker 2: of view of this story?
- 57:23Speaker 6: Two three weeks ago? Peyton, Well, I don't know if
- 57:26Speaker 6: everybody got it, but I'm assuming they did. The text
- 57:28Speaker 6: with the invite on it, right, so I filed it away.
- 57:31Speaker 6: I'm like, okay, whatever, we'll put that on the calendar.
- 57:35Speaker 6: And then late last week she sent it again. So
- 57:39Speaker 6: I'm thinking, Okay, this must be like this weekend, it
- 57:42Speaker 6: must be coming up because she just like sent a
- 57:44Speaker 6: reminder and I was even texting back and forth with her.
- 57:47Speaker 6: I'm like, Hey, I don't know if I can make it.
- 57:49Speaker 6: We've got my father in law's birthday dinner. And she's like, well,
- 57:54Speaker 6: it's it's just stop by if you can. It's a
- 57:56Speaker 6: come and go blah blah. I'm like, is there a registry?
- 57:59Speaker 6: So anyway, I put this in my head that it
- 58:01Speaker 6: was Sunday night and there was this conflict, and when
- 58:06Speaker 6: we the funniest part is when we were gonna leave
- 58:08Speaker 6: my father in law's house, he was like he thought
- 58:10Speaker 6: we were just making an excuse to get out of there.
- 58:12Speaker 6: He's like, oh, yeah, sure, sure, there's a Sunday night
- 58:16Speaker 6: wedding reception. Could just say you don't want to be here.
- 58:22Speaker 5: Seriously.
- 58:23Speaker 6: It's like when it worked and like, you know, we
- 58:26Speaker 6: gotta go, and like normally we wouldn't mob deep like
- 58:29Speaker 6: that with eight people at the house. He's gonna have
- 58:31Speaker 6: four kids of me and my wife, and I'm like,
- 58:34Speaker 6: let's just let's stop by and he's the funny. On
- 58:36Speaker 6: the way home or on the way to Peyton's house,
- 58:38Speaker 6: my wife's like, do you think John Jay and Richard
- 58:40Speaker 6: and the rest of the guys are there. I'm like,
- 58:41Speaker 6: I'm sure they've already been and left. Like, if I
- 58:44Speaker 6: know John Jay, he's already dipped out.
- 58:46Speaker 11: It started at.
- 58:47Speaker 6: Five, he was probably gone by five forty five. And
- 58:53Speaker 6: so we rolled up and she goes, she goes, it's
- 58:55Speaker 6: kind of there's not a lot of cars here, and
- 58:57Speaker 6: I go, there's a ton of cars here, because there
- 58:59Speaker 6: was was like you had three in your driveway and
- 59:02Speaker 6: they were like six or seven cors just right in
- 59:04Speaker 6: front of that house. I was like, no, I think
- 59:07Speaker 6: it's cool. I go, probably a lot of people already left.
- 59:09Speaker 6: It's you know, it's work tomorrow. Like, so we go
- 59:12Speaker 6: momming up there, me, him, my wife and four kids,
- 59:16Speaker 6: and there's all these teenagers like from across the streets
- 59:19Speaker 6: staring at us like you guys doing. And I'm carrying
- 59:21Speaker 6: this big old box the skiff, and then we ring
- 59:25Speaker 6: the doorbell and I see Peyton look out the window
- 59:27Speaker 6: at me like confused, and instantly I'm like, like, are
- 59:32Speaker 6: we too late, like did everyone go home already? Like
- 59:35Speaker 6: what's going on? Why is she looking at me like that?
- 59:38Speaker 6: And then I knew something was was like off and anyway, yeah, so.
- 59:42Speaker 2: There, yeah, you and you realize it's a mistake. How
- 59:48Speaker 2: long do you hang out at Peyton's house before he's
- 59:50Speaker 2: time to leave?
- 59:53Speaker 6: Well, you know, she was polite, she invited us stand
- 59:56Speaker 6: and stuff, and we were like no, it's cool, like
- 59:58Speaker 6: we're just we'd start wars. Sorry, Just like I didn't
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: really know what to do. I was like, this isn't
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: really like because you know, usually you do something bonehead
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: like that, you're like you can get out of it.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: You could like make an excuse or a reason. And
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: I was just like, man, I got to wear this.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: I got to own this light out. And if you
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: look in in my offense, if you look at the
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: invitation just on your text, like pull it up just
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: on your text, the date isn't the clearest thing. It
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: is when you know it's there and you blow it
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: up because it's like this really it's like red on peach.
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: But they're just like in like this script font. So
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: even after even when we got back in the car,
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: I'm looking at him like, this doesn't even have the
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: date on it, And then I blew it up more
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: and I was like, oh yeah it does.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: So when you leave, When you leave, what kind of
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: conversation do you and your wife have after you leave?
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: We were just dying and all my kids are like,
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: you got to own this one.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, your kid's just roasted you after that.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: Oh yeah, all the jokes about you know.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Next week, he shows up Merry Christmas everyone.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: You know, when I saw the picture, I just thought
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: maybe you bumped into Peyton somewhere it first, and it's
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: like I showed up a week early. I'm like, ha haha,
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: I didn't really realize he really showed up a week earl.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: Yeah, the picture.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: I don't know if I want to post the picture
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: because I took the picture, sent it in the group
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: chat and I was like, I'm literally in my pajamas
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: and I'm like, th look cute.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: She was Sam's brazier.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: What the Oh wow?
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: I'm like so embarrassed that my boss and his family
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: saw me in my pajamas. But I got to tell
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: you guys, like the joy, the joy that I had
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: because like Rich you were saying earlier, you and Mark
