- 0:00They're going to have a ton of money to spend.
- 0:01Why not put it in one of the top three offensive players in the
- 0:05league? We're going to be looking at
- 0:14Aaron Judge and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 0:17Jordan said. I played 82 games.
- 0:20You don't see Levon doing that. A game where you got to go
- 0:23before I told you giant feet. Save more Barkley at this point,
- 0:28say Let's do it.
- 1:27You're listening to Jabba and the Mouth.

- 2:57com. Well, I've had an interesting,
- 3:01interesting year. And anybody that has not known
- 3:04me or watched this show over and over and over again, repeatedly
- 3:08as we go in week by week, show by show, episode by episode,
- 3:13would know that my show and my personality could go in many
- 3:19different directions, many different directions.
- 3:23If it's a comedy show you want to hear, this is the one you
- 3:26want to hear. If it's a sports talk show you
- 3:28want to listen to, this is what you want to listen to.
- 3:33But over the last couple of months, and I, I will say this,
- 3:37to be very fond of this industry and what I love about this
- 3:42industry is there's many sports to talk about.
- 3:46And being that we're here in New York, sports is life for all the
- 3:49fans out there. Even though our sports teams are
- 3:53absolutely horrible and mean, If you look at where our football
- 3:57teams are at, you got a chance to watch one team pull off a win
- 4:01yesterday against a Vegas Raider team that didn't want to play.
- 4:04They they really should have just stayed on the bus.
- 4:08There was no reason for the Raiders to play in that game.
- 4:11And then we had a chance to watch the New York Jets, which
- 4:15was an absolute debacle, A divisional game.
- 4:18And you don't show up. You don't show up against the
- 4:22New England Patriot team for years have been daggering it
- 4:25right in your back. And you just absolutely laid up
- 4:30a lousy goose egg. And I, I watch New York sports
- 4:34because, I mean, I'm here in New York and, and I root for our our
- 4:38teams. And there's just nothing to me
- 4:42moving forward in 2026 besides the New York Knicks that makes
- 4:46me excited now. Hopefully it'll change in the
- 4:50offseason. With football, it could change
- 4:52with a blink of an eye. We've seen it.
- 4:54You could go from one of the worst teams to one of the best
- 4:56teams with a blink. In hockey.
- 5:01We have seen the absolute difference in a team when they
- 5:07make or they get a draft pick like Matthew Schaefer with the
- 5:13New York Islanders. And I've seen the twists and
- 5:16turns over the last couple of years of falling out, John
- 5:21Tavares deciding to part ways with the Islanders, go to
- 5:23Toronto just just to absolutely stink.
- 5:26I mean, look at Toronto right now.
- 5:28They're in the last place in their in their in their
- 5:31division. You wonder that maybe it could
- 5:36be the Islander here, maybe with Patrick Wah and the Islanders,
- 5:39they make this unbelievable run. Now that Lou Pinella, I mean Lou
- 5:42Pinella, Lou Pinella because I was writing a story over the
- 5:45weekend. It's not Lou sleeping.
- 5:47Lou is no longer with the New York Islanders.
- 5:51I just when you, when you, when you look at sports and and as a
- 5:55New York fan, you, you only hope and you wonder when these teams
- 6:02are going to change and get better.
- 6:05It will come down to a winner takes all showdown between the
- 6:09Ravens and the Steelers in primetime fashion Sunday night
- 6:15for the final playoff spot and the AFC North division crown.
- 6:21The Ravens blew out the Packers without Jordan Love, 41 to 24,
- 6:26led by 216 rushing yards and four touchdowns from the one and
- 6:32only Derrick Henry. The Packers had already clinched
- 6:36the playoff spot before the game started.
- 6:39After the Lions fell on Saturday to the Vikings, the Packers lose
- 6:44and clinched the NFC North for the Bears.
- 6:49The Ravens season stays alive because Shidor Sanders and the
- 6:53Browns upset the Steelers 13 to 6 without DK Metcalf, who was
- 6:58suspended by the league for striking a fan for two games.
- 7:03The Steelers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers could do nothing
- 7:08against the Browns defense all day.
- 7:10Metcalf will also miss the big match up with the Baltimore with
- 7:14the Baltimore Ravens next week. Both NFC South contenders lost
- 7:21this week with the Buccaneers losing to the Dolphins 20 to 17
- 7:25and the Panthers failing falling to the Seahawks 27 to 10.
- 7:31This sets up another win and you're in scenario for the NFC
- 7:37South title. If the Bucks win, they will be
- 7:42the first team to win their division with a losing record 8
- 7:46and 9 since they did it with an 8 and 9 record in 2022.
- 7:52The Panthers defense was able to hold Seattle in check in the
- 7:57first half, but Bryce Young was only able to go 14 for 24 for 54
- 8:04yards and an interception in the loss as Seattle pulled away in
- 8:10the second-half. The Bucks are lucky to have this
- 8:13shot after they fell to quit and yours LED Dolphins and could
- 8:19only get 54 total rushing yards as a whole team.
- 8:25There's a lot to get into and I I love the Pittsburgh and
- 8:30Ravens. The Pittsburgh Steelers and
- 8:32Ravens scenario and there's a lot of reasons why is because
- 8:36you look forward to games like this.
- 8:37You because these are divisional games.
- 8:40The Ravens can't stand the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 8:42The Steelers can't stand the Baltimore Ravens.
- 8:46You want to see Lamar Jackson in the playoffs, but you also want
- 8:49to see Aaron Rodgers in the playoffs.
- 8:51This could be Aaron Rodgers last hurrah and Lamar Jackson with
- 8:55all the ups and downs all season long, the injuries.
- 8:59This could be the run that he couldn't or should be waiting
- 9:03for. This is this is something that
- 9:06we've seen before. Team sneak into the playoffs and
- 9:09go all the way. I know Aaron Rodgers remembers
- 9:12that. I remember in 2010, we bring it
- 9:14up all the time, a wild card team went from one of the worst
- 9:19teams in the beginning of the seasons to one of the best
- 9:21teams, finished strong, went into the playoffs, made their
- 9:24run, and Aaron Rodgers won his only Super Bowl in 2010.
- 9:29You got to get hot. And the Ravens with all their
- 9:33woes, their defense and all the ups and downs of the way their
- 9:37defense was this year and, and the Ravens are known for their
- 9:39defense. Come on, if you think about it,
- 9:42the Ed Reeds of the world, the Suggs of the world, all the
- 9:46linebackers and we could go through every single one of
- 9:49them. One who to me is an all time
- 9:51great. They've always been an elite
- 9:55defense and this year they weren't.
- 10:00And it would be fitting to see the Ravens get into the playoffs
- 10:03and make a run all the way to a Super Bowl and win a Super Bowl.
- 10:06Lamar Jackson's first Super Bowl and then Lamar could be
- 10:09considered one of the best quarterbacks of this era.
- 10:13Aaron Rodgers has a lot to prove because if you want to be
- 10:17considered with those Peyton Manning's and the Tom Brady's,
- 10:25you have to win your number two. You have to win your second
- 10:28Super Bowl. Peyton Manning did it.
- 10:31Did Peyton Manning do it by himself?
- 10:33No. His defense was elite.
- 10:36Pittsburgh everything what we've seen with high Smith and his
- 10:40defensing and we're going to see Watt come back if they make the
- 10:44play offs. I expect Watt to play in the
- 10:46play offs when Watts in this is an elite defense and that's what
- 10:53you I say this all the time winning championships, you need
- 10:56a good running game and you need an elite defense.
- 10:59Now the Ravens, they don't have an elite defense, but they have
- 11:02an all world type of quarterback that could change every single
- 11:06game. With his legs, he's unstoppable.
- 11:10If Lamar Jackson is healthy all season long, I, I believe the
- 11:14Ravens are one of the top three teams in the NFC, one of the top
- 11:17five teams in all of the NFL. But he's not.
- 11:21And there's some rumblings that John Harbaugh might be out if
- 11:26they get knocked out, he decides to step away.
- 11:28Whatever the Ravens decide to do or decide not to do with John
- 11:33Harbaugh all rests maybe in this game.
- 11:38And that to me, stands out more than anything because when we
- 11:42think of division championships, we think of Pittsburgh and the
- 11:47Ravens. We think of Kansas City and the
- 11:52Chargers. We think about the Eagles or the
- 11:56Giants or the Eagles or the Cowboys.
- 12:00That's what we think about. And that to me, and even this
- 12:05year, we saw Seattle and the Rams go back and forth.
- 12:07Those games were sensational. You want to see games like that.
- 12:11You want to see games that can come down to the wire.
- 12:15And this is right there, Week 18, Sunday Night Football, Aaron
- 12:23Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, one of the greats against maybe soon to
- 12:28be the greatest quarterback of this era.
- 12:33I wrote a story this weekend about the 2018 draft class,
- 12:38draft class of quarterbacks. I don't know if anybody
- 12:41remembers it remembers it, but I can tell you Baker Mayfield went
- 12:44#1 to the Browns. Baker Mayfield is now playing
- 12:48for the Buccaneers. Before that, he jumped from
- 12:50three other teams before he landed with the Buccaneers.
- 12:56Do you remember the second guy that was picked in that draft?
- 12:59I do. I'm going to give it to you #3
- 13:01Sam Darnold, the youngest quarterback in NFL history, He
- 13:05jumped around after leaving The Jets.
- 13:08He went from, I think 2 teams or three teams before he jumped.
- 13:12And he's now in Seattle, 13 and three Seattle Seahawks.
- 13:16And guess what? He has become an elite
- 13:20quarterback. It took him a while.
- 13:23Youngest quarterback in the league, still fairly young.
- 13:25Has a chance to become the quarterback that everybody
- 13:30thought he was going to become coming out of USA #7 went to the
- 13:35Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen, now Josh Allen, we
- 13:40know what he's been and we know what he's turned into.
- 13:43Josh Allen had a weird release when he came out of Wyoming.
- 13:47There was a lot of questions about Josh Allen and, and could
- 13:50he last in the NFL? The way he plays the game, he's
- 13:54become as he leaked as any quarterback in the NFL and why?
- 13:59Maybe it was because of coaching, maybe it was Dabo,
- 14:01maybe the fact that he changed his release or maybe just his
- 14:05understanding of the love of the game.
- 14:08There were a lot of people pressing on Josh Allen his whole
- 14:11career and and why they thought he wasn't going to last.
- 14:14I mean, I've read Ramsay and the G2 Magazine attacked this man
- 14:18and didn't even know him at #10 it was the Arizona Cardinals and
- 14:24the one guy that just got away or thank God got away, and now
- 14:29it's Josh Rosen. It was my favorite at the time
- 14:31and Tyler Harrison's favorite at the time.
- 14:33We were both badly wrong. Tennis tennis champion and maybe
- 14:37he should just stay and play pick up tennis because he was
- 14:40horrible. He jumped ship to many different
- 14:43organizations, even went out there and spoke about the the
- 14:47the teams that passed up on him, said they're going to regret it.
- 14:50I don't think they're regretting it anymore.
- 14:52And then the final pick of the draft, the last pick in Mr.
- 14:58Newsome, Ozzy Newsome's, you know, pocketbook or pockets was
- 15:05Lamar Jackson. And I believe Lamar Jackson has
- 15:09been the best quarterback out of all these quarterbacks in any of
- 15:13these classes that we've mentioned over the last, I would
- 15:16say 15 years. Not because he has become an
- 15:21elite runner in this league, not because he's become a thrower in
- 15:25this league, just because the guy plays at such a high speed,
- 15:32so dominant when he is at the top of his game, almost
- 15:35impossible to stop. You could talk about Joe Burrow
- 15:38and his elite way of watching the field and scoop, scooping
- 15:42and and plopping the ball into different spots to Jamar chasing
- 15:47and Higgins. To me, what makes Lamar Jackson
- 15:52so unique is he doesn't have an elite wide receiver.
- 15:57I mean flat is Flowers, an elite wide receiver.
- 15:59Andrews was an elite tight end but he couldn't stay healthy.
- 16:03Lamar Jackson has never had an elite wide receiver to throw to
- 16:08in his whole career. Could you imagine if he had
- 16:11Jamar, Chase or Higgins? How about TK Metcalf, he doesn't
- 16:17have any of those guys. He has an elite running back in
- 16:20Derrick Henry finally. But that just tells you and I, I
- 16:25believe when you look at quarterbacks and that's why I
- 16:28look at Tom Brady. Also have another article out
- 16:31there, Tom Brady and Joe Montana.
- 16:33I believe Joe Montana is just a tad better than Tom Brady.
- 16:37But if you look at Tom Brady's career, your argument is he's
- 16:40had different running backs. He's never had the same running
- 16:43back. He's never had the same
- 16:45offensive line more than three years.
- 16:49The only thing that he's had the same practically his whole
- 16:53career is his coach before he went to the Buccaneers.
- 16:57So to me, elite quarterbacks can play with anything around them.
- 17:02You don't need a superstar, you don't need an elite player.
- 17:05And that goes to what I'm saying about Aaron Rodgers.
- 17:09Aaron Rodgers made everybody around him better, everybody.
- 17:16And that's where this is coming, this is going.
- 17:18We're going into a game where this could be the crown King, a
- 17:22lot of people believe is the greatest quarterback.
- 17:24I do in a 10 year or ten C, you know, 10 seasons comparable to
- 17:31the Tom Brady's and Peyton Manning's and Drew Breeses.
- 17:34I believe Aaron Rodgers has been the best, not with the greatest
- 17:40talent, not with superstar players.
- 17:42He's made everybody around him because he's special.
- 17:44Lamar Jackson too. That's what I think about this
- 17:47game. This could be the end of Aaron
- 17:50Rodgers career moving on to bigger and better things, to
- 17:54Brittany, his so-called wife or his so-called hand, whoever he's
- 17:58married. See I see him wearing his ring
- 18:00every time he plays. It's a it's a black ring.
- 18:03So I guess he's married unless he's fibbing.
- 18:06But that's the game that's I'm looking forward to the
- 18:08Buccaneers and and and the Carolina Panthers.
- 18:13Nothing sticks out to me in this game except this is the
- 18:17Buccaneers game to win. Caroline is still building.
- 18:21Caroline is still figuring things out.
- 18:23Canalis is still figuring things out as a head coach.
- 18:26I think he's going to be a great one.
- 18:28He's got a young quarterback that I don't think is ever going
- 18:31to be elite. You can win with them, but he's
- 18:34never going to be elite. He found out all he's got a a
- 18:37star wide receiver. He's got weapons now he can
- 18:41build around those weapons. His defense still needs a little
- 18:44bit of cleaning, but this Carolina team is going to be
- 18:49good for many, many years to come.
- 18:50They're young and up and coming. But this is the Buccaneers year
- 18:54because if they don't make the playoffs, Todd Bowles is gone.
- 18:58He is gone. Swim to the fishies, swim to the
- 19:02sharks because Todd Bowles is gone.
- 19:05Sayonara, this is their year. Mike Evans did not look happy
- 19:10this past weekend. I didn't look happy because it
- 19:12was on my fantasy team. And thank God I didn't need Mike
- 19:14Evans because of what Brock Purdy did on Sunday night, which
- 19:19was absolutely ridiculous. I mean, I got a lot to say by
- 19:23the way Owen and me went back and forth yesterday.
- 19:25It was. I heard that phone call that was
- 19:28quite. Interesting.
- 19:28It was fun, definitely funny and I love you.
- 19:31But the game that really sticks out to me is, is obviously the
- 19:36Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ravens, but this could go down
- 19:39to the wire and, and really the Carolina Panthers in the last
- 19:42three or four weeks, they'd be, their defense has been one of
- 19:44the best defenses in all the football.
- 19:47And if they show up to this game and the Buccaneers do not show
- 19:50up and they don't have, I know Baker Mayfield didn't have
- 19:53worth. I know the offensive line is not
- 19:55protecting him. There's no excuses anymore.
- 19:57Baker was an to me, an MVP candidate for the 1st 8 or 9
- 20:02weeks and that's falling off. And I don't want to hear about
- 20:05injuries. There's no reason why this team
- 20:09is really crawling into a playoff run now.
- 20:13Hey, the Buccaneers can get into the playoffs and and make noise.
- 20:16I'm going to tell you right now and we'll get into it in just a
- 20:19few moments. The Eagles look damn good.
- 20:22I, I don't, I told you guys about the Eagles when they
- 20:25figure things out, watch out for them.
- 20:27And you're you're watching it right now.
- 20:31But the Dolphins give a shout out to Mike McDaniel, guys, Mike
- 20:35McDaniel was practically done. Everybody was throwing them out.
- 20:40Gone. Mighty Mouse was gone, gone to
- 20:44the bleachers, say goodbye. And then all of a sudden they
- 20:48make a couple of trades, They trade fill UPS, they move
- 20:50players. Tyree kill goes down and they
- 20:54figured things out. Tua was Tua was actually sitting
- 20:58and riding the bench. They bring in Quinn.
- 21:00Yours he was what, a six round draft pick?
- 21:05This guy at one point was a first round talent pulls out and
- 21:09they're finding ways to win with these guys.
- 21:11It's pretty amazing. I I have been very impressed
- 21:16with the out of all the teams that have fallen back and forth
- 21:19and a lot of people giving up on him, the Miami Dolphins have
- 21:22been the most impressive, impressive team.
- 21:24And and the most impressive team making it to the players right
- 21:27now is the Seattle Seahawks, which I think could be
- 21:30unstoppable. If Najigua plays at a top game
- 21:33at the top of his game like he's been doing all season long.
- 21:37And obviously the playoffs, you're playing against better
- 21:39defenses and better teams and better coaching.
- 21:41No question Seattle could absolutely go to the Super Bowl
- 21:45and win the Super Bowl this year.
- 21:47No question they can't. They have the running game.
- 21:50Sharpen a has been unbelievable. Walker's been great.
- 21:53They can do so many things so very well.
- 21:56And they got a quarterback and I just mentioned him, Sam Darnold.
- 21:58So I look at all these games. I gave you my take on it,
- 22:02Speedy. I want to hear your.
- 22:03Yeah, I want to mention it from this standpoint, from the
- 22:05Panthers and Bucks to start, because you were talking about
- 22:08that like the losing record standpoint and sometimes you see
- 22:10those teams still. Do I don't care about that?
- 22:12I never even mentioned. That in the playoffs you
- 22:13mentioned in the read off like the losing record.
- 22:15And I think you you still get the talent of those teams for a
- 22:19Buccaneers team that when healthy is still a lot better
- 22:21than they are record wise and a Panthers team that has nothing
- 22:24to lose because this is a team that doesn't have a lot of big
- 22:26contracts on the team. They had a really good rookie
- 22:28class that's really helped their offense play as well as they
- 22:31have and their defense play a lot better than expected.
- 22:33They're supposed to be one of the probably bottom 10 defenses
- 22:35in the league. They've been amazing.
- 22:36But I had a schedule and pressure to come with Canalis on
- 22:41with Bryce Young. Bryce Young trying to make a
- 22:43statement in Year 3, which you're right, he's been very
- 22:45underwhelming for a first round pick, but first overall pick.
- 22:47But he still had some really good games this year and he's a
- 22:49great comeback quarterback, which is interesting.
- 22:52Then you shift to the Buccaneers side where Todd Bowles, is there
- 22:55a sense of desperation for his job at this point?
- 22:57If they miss the playoffs or even if they may get in, just
- 22:59still go out in the first round. Does he get an injury pass from
- 23:03somebody like Jason Light? Jason Lights been a very good GM
- 23:05and the Buccaneers obviously won a Super Bowl with Tom Brady.
- 23:08But since then, they've only won two playoff games to beat the
- 23:10Eagles when the Eagles fell apart two years ago and they
- 23:12beat really bad and they beat a really bad Eagles team.
- 23:16I think it was the year before that when they were a seven
- 23:18seed. Like those are the only two
- 23:20playoff wins they've won since then.
- 23:21So could there be pressure on getting a high, I guess
- 23:24potential coach type thing, whether it's one of these big
- 23:26name offensive coordinators like a Kubiak in Seattle or whether
- 23:29it's somebody like you've mentioned, a veteran coach like
- 23:31Mike McCarthy or something like that that could be available.
- 23:34Then on the Steelers and Ravens standpoint, it's the opposite
- 23:37where both these coaches, there are two of the longest tenured,
- 23:40they're the two longest tenured coaches in the NFL with their
- 23:43respective teams. How much is the clock ticking
- 23:46for them? I know we were joking about it
- 23:48with after the Senate. Your same point with your phone
- 23:50call with oh, and he was like, oh, John Harbaugh doesn't want a
- 23:52Super Bowl in forever and all that.
- 23:53Yeah, but he won one. He won one and there's been a
- 23:56kind of Rep. How many did Kyle win?
- 23:58He hasn't won any yet. He hasn't won any yet and I
- 24:01don't think he's going to win any with the San Francisco. 49
- 24:04Kyle Shanahan is basically Eagles Andy Reid with a little
- 24:07more talent at this point. Do not diss Andy Reid.
- 24:10No Eagles. Andy Reid, not overall.
- 24:12I I still I would not diss Andy Reid.
- 24:14Andy Reid has won multiple Super Bowls.
- 24:17I know it was with Patrick Mahomes, but even with the
- 24:20Eagles, the Eagles still were. And I'm I'm not saying that like
- 24:23the San Francisco 49ers are not a an organization.
- 24:26They are, they're a regular season team.
- 24:28But in the playoffs, they're a bombshell.
- 24:31They fail and I don't want to hear it.
- 24:33There's no complaining anymore. You have Christian McCaffrey and
- 24:36then in the second-half of the game, you stop running the ball
- 24:40in a Super Bowl and you are up 6:50, I think.
- 24:43I think the score. Yeah.
- 24:45It doesn't make any sense how you have a great running game
- 24:49and then automatically in the fourth quarter you say, you know
- 24:51what, I'm going to stop running the ball.
- 24:52Makes no sense. Why am I running the ball?
- 24:54I just led the league in all and and offensive touchdowns with a
- 24:58running back or yards bar by a running back.
- 25:01It makes no sense, but it's typical Kyle Shanahan.
- 25:05I want to reference to the other coaches though, too, with Tomlin
- 25:07and with Harbaugh too. It just seems like usually
- 25:09there's something missing. And again, Harbaugh I think is
- 25:11still a good coach. I think he'll still get hired
- 25:12anywhere else. I was, but I.
- 25:14He's not going anywhere. That's what I'm reading.
- 25:16Yeah, it's funny because when I posted your article last week
- 25:18about Michigan, it's your own more what are the people in the
- 25:21in the Reddit comment section, which you'll go, What would it
- 25:23be funny if John Harbaugh Michigan sex head coach?
- 25:25That's not going to happen. But again, you look at Tomlin
- 25:28too, like the clock is ticking. We talked about all the time he
- 25:30hasn't won a playoff game and who knows how long the last
- 25:32playoff game he won was against a Miami Dolphins 6 seed with
- 25:35Adam Gates and Matt Morris, their starting quarterback.
- 25:38Put that in perspective. And then John Harbaugh, he says
- 25:40some, certainly some underwhelming playoffs as well.
- 25:43And even recently last the last couple years, they've been a
- 25:45Texans team that was very inexperienced and again, a
- 25:47Titans team that was kind of up and down.
- 25:49So it's not like they really had a lot of quality wins either.
- 25:51And then it's the Steelers. Forget about it.
- 25:53Aaron Rodgers is interesting though, because does he does he
- 25:56feel like this is the last reputation?
- 25:58I think he's liked by the Steelers and he's liked by the
- 26:00Steelers players and obviously he's better than the
- 26:02quarterbacks that they've had. And then the other thing is he
- 26:05is he Mason Rudolph and Kenny Peckett.
- 26:07Yeah, Mason Rudolph, when he came in for Aaron Rodgers when
- 26:10he was injured, he played pretty well.
- 26:12He actually looked better than Aaron Rodgers did.
- 26:14So to say that he's better than Mason Roule, again, I would say
- 26:18this about the Pittsburgh Steelers and Mike Tomlin.
- 26:20You mentioned Tomlin and and John Harbaugh.
- 26:22Both guys might not have a job at the end of the year.
- 26:24Both guys who I believe we're the elite of elites.
- 26:29When you look at AFC and coaching, you would say besides
- 26:34Andy Reid, John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin are amongst the best
- 26:37in the AFC. Am I wrong or right?
- 26:38No, I think they're definitely Hall of Famers, no doubt.
- 26:41And now both of them might be looking for another job, yeah.
- 26:43Again, it's just a matter of of like a reputation thing, like
- 26:46how long can they go on with that kind of thing because
- 26:48again, they still haven't gotten the pinnacle in this modern era
- 26:51since it's kind of changed more to a spread offense type of the
- 26:53league in the probably the mid to 20 tens before.
- 26:56Before we move on, I just want to reference some of the
- 26:58comments. Shout out to Evan and shout out
- 27:00to Sean Browning in our comment section.
- 27:01Sean was talking about six straight NFC championships with
- 27:03the Eagles with Donovan McNabb. And the reason the reason I
- 27:06brought that up, Evan is mainly to compare.
- 27:09They made it. The 49ers made a lot of NFC
- 27:11championships too with Kyle Shanahan in years that they've
- 27:13fallen short of the Super Bowl. And also Kyle Shanahan, like
- 27:16Errol saying similar clock management issues to Andy Reid
- 27:19with the Eagles. Andy Reid with the Eagles,
- 27:20there's a lot of double digit blown leads in the playoffs too.
- 27:22And even with the Chiefs when he first started, they had that 28
- 27:25point lead they blew to the Colts or whatever it was in that
- 27:27first year in the playoffs. So that's why I bring that up.
- 27:28And then Evan in the comments, even Seahawks defense and he
- 27:31needs to sell their defense been pretty good this year.
- 27:33Andy Reid never blew it in the Super Bowl in the second-half of
- 27:36the game. That's OK.
- 27:37I know we played the Patriots, but let's be honest, that's Tom
- 27:40Brady and he didn't blow that game.
- 27:42That game really came down to the end and, and who wanted it
- 27:46more. And, and Terrell Owens was
- 27:48playing with a broken leg in that game and he still found a
- 27:50way to get almost 100 yards in the game and a touchdown.
- 27:53It was pretty impressive. Shanahan is not going to live it
- 27:55down arrow until he wins the Big 100.
- 27:57Percent. That's the thing, you know, he's
- 28:00not, he's never going to figure it out until the day he does.
- 28:02And maybe he only gets it right one time and that's all it takes
- 28:06to win a championship, to be good that one day and not screw
- 28:08up the late game mechanics of the game.
- 28:10He, you know what he did with the Falcons thinking that he'd
- 28:14have the hubris to keep throwing and not run the ball in that
- 28:17that situation and eat the clock and just not to play smart
- 28:20football. And just what are you doing?
- 28:22You don't need to score again. You just need to not let them
- 28:25score again. And it was just really like mind
- 28:29blowing arrogance. And I think that's why people
- 28:32really turn are turned off by him because of what happened
- 28:35there and then, you know, his subsequent failures in the Super
- 28:37Bowl. But look, I mean, look at what
- 28:39he has, though. He's got a good roster.
- 28:40He's 12 and four. He did this with Mac Jones at
- 28:42quarterback for about 6 or 7. Games.
- 28:44That was Owen's boy that he stood by what he what he called
- 28:46Daryl, always. Say what you feel, maybe he's
- 28:48better than an average backup quarterback, but he's still a
- 28:51backup quarterback in this league and that is good
- 28:54coaching. Trent Williams hasn't been
- 28:56himself. He's hurt.
- 28:57Now they're still finding ways. That's the coach.
- 29:00CMC #1 fantasy running back this year again, 1000 yards
- 29:06receiving, 1000 yards rushing. He's this his third time in his
- 29:11career. He's unbelievable.
- 29:13He just keeps doing it. You know, he looks like he's
- 29:17maybe a little bit more worse for wear than when he was
- 29:19younger. Maybe he doesn't have the same
- 29:20burst still. Pretty well, he's not going to.
- 29:22At 30 years old, he's going to have to do a lot more with based
- 29:25on shifting. So, so I just wanted to bring
- 29:27that up before we get into, I just quickly want to touch on
- 29:29some of these playoff potential teams like Rogers has nobody to
- 29:34throw to in that game. His number one receiver might be
- 29:36Fryer Muth at this point. Four tight ends on the field.
- 29:41They, they're going to play a lot of 13 personnel speedy.
- 29:44They they just have to like I will not, they will not have a
- 29:48single play without 2 tight ends on there unless they're in like
- 29:51third and 20 and they have to go.
- 29:52In, you'll see a lot of Gainwell catching the ball on the.
- 29:55Backfield, you know, you'll see Gainwell, you'll see a couple of
- 29:58like they'll probably have Warren in the backfield and
- 30:00Gainwell split out in the flank for like the screen on one side
- 30:03at times because they don't have anybody they got like you're
- 30:07going to see when we do save your tears later, they're in it.
- 30:09There's you can't believe who the receivers are on that team.
- 30:12Like Adam Thielens, they're leading receiver right now.
- 30:15There's nothing he's like Arthur Smith loves more.
- 30:17They're having to put random guys on the field.
- 30:20I mean, Thielen was going to retire they he got cut, he got,
- 30:23he asked to be released and just wanted to pick up somewhere so
- 30:26he could keep playing football a couple more weeks in his career.
- 30:29And here he is, biggest game of the year for this squad and he's
- 30:34their number one option. I mean, just think about how bad
- 30:37of a spot that is for Aaron Rodgers.
- 30:39I'm surprised they don't call up his boy Alan Lazar to get some
- 30:42get his get the pads on for this.
- 30:44Game. I don't want to see how.
- 30:44He's not doing anything. And go back in.
- 30:48We can make jokes about obviously where the Pittsburgh
- 30:50Steelers are sitting as far as their talent is concerned, but
- 30:54Mike Tomlin finds a way to win these regular season games.
- 30:56He's the playoff. He's great though, but that's
- 30:58the point. Errol, he's great.
- 31:00Their GM, this guy Khan, yeah, not great.
- 31:02No. That's the problem there with
- 31:04Pittsburgh. They don't have a good roster.
- 31:06Their GM is not good and I think they are realizing it may be a
- 31:10little, little late. He's with them for a long time
- 31:12in that organization. Sometimes the wrong guys get
- 31:14promoted, and I think this might be what we're seeing here.
- 31:17They don't have a good roster. Those Ravens, on the other hand,
- 31:19do a pretty good roster. Maybe not at the receiver
- 31:21position, but Lamar Jackson got hurt.
- 31:24You know, if Lamar Jackson's not playing well and he can't move
- 31:27around and do some of the things that he can do that the team's
- 31:29just not built to be successful without him.
- 31:32The only way that they can win without him is to Derrick Henry
- 31:35to run 36 times and have 216 yards and four touchdowns like
- 31:40he did last yesterday. It's the only way.
- 31:42But you know what teams are going to do in the playoffs. 8-9
- 31:45guys in the box. Every single play, they're going
- 31:46to clock the. Boxes dare you to dare you to do
- 31:48it, and that's exactly what Tomlin's going to do.
- 31:50He knows that that's their fatal flaw.
- 31:52And if they can contain Jackson and just turn him into a pocket
- 31:55passer, he's not healthy, he's not accurate.
- 31:57I still like their chances to beat the Ravens, even though
- 32:00they have no one to throw to and a 41 year old quarterback.
- 32:04That's how crazy that game is on the other side.
- 32:08You're right. It's kind of like 2 not very
- 32:09good teams. The Bucks just can't run the
- 32:11football. I don't really understand why
- 32:14they can't run the football. Bucky Irving's back, they can't
- 32:16run the football. So they just have Baker chucking
- 32:19it. The teams know that.
- 32:20They're pinning their ears back. If the Panthers had more of a
- 32:23pass rush, this game wouldn't be close.
- 32:25They just, they just have young guys.
- 32:26Their defense is OK. They're getting there.
- 32:28They're just, you know, they're a year behind, you know, ahead
- 32:31of schedule. If they We do remember that the
- 32:33Carolina Panthers did beat the Buccaneers a couple of weeks
- 32:35ago, so a. Couple of weeks ago they.
- 32:37They know know how to beat this Buccaneers team and the
- 32:40Buccaneers have an offensive line that is shell of themselves
- 32:43what they were in the beginning of the season worth is not
- 32:45healthy. They they don't have enough
- 32:48depth on the offensive side of the ball.
- 32:51And with Mike Evans let yesterday you could see how
- 32:54frustrated he was. He was frustrated the whole game
- 32:56the way Miami was playing up on him, playing hard on him and and
- 33:00really playing rough at the line of scrimmage on him.
- 33:02And it was a completely different game.
- 33:04Mike Evans is a big, tall, strong guy.
- 33:07And really until the end of the game, he really had what, 3-4
- 33:11catches? He was horrible yesterday.
- 33:13And even at the end of the game when they were interviewing him
- 33:15and he said, like, what do you think your chances are at the
- 33:17end? You know, at the end of the
- 33:18season in Week 18, he says, I don't know if I can't get the
- 33:21ball or they can't get me the ball, I don't expect us to win.
- 33:25So I, I mean, honestly, it just shows you what it's a tale of
- 33:30two tapes. You have a Carolina Panther team
- 33:32that has nothing to lose. They're going to Week 18 where
- 33:35they believe they shouldn't be and have a chance to get into
- 33:38the playoffs there. I believe a year.
- 33:41I I think they're year in position than they should be.
- 33:45I thought next year was going to be the year that they, if they
- 33:48were going to make the players, are going to sneak into the
- 33:49playoffs in a division that's so wide open.
- 33:52Atlanta, I expect if Raheem Morris is not fired this year,
- 33:56I'd be shocked. I mean he should be gone with
- 33:59the talent that Elena has. Atlanta has the most talented
- 34:02team in that division. I mean if you look from top to
- 34:05bottom, Bijon Robinson is one of the top 2 running backs in the
- 34:09league. They had Kyle Pitts there that
- 34:11they're finally using and you can see how talented he is.
- 34:14You have London who's one of the more underrated wide receivers
- 34:18in the league. The offensive line is a much
- 34:20better than it really looks. Their defense has been up and
- 34:23down all season, maybe because it's the coaching.
- 34:26I I mean, this team could absolutely be the best team in
- 34:29that division. But guess what?
- 34:31You're in a division that has a young team that looks like they
- 34:35have a coach that's up and coming and they have another,
- 34:38another team with Baker Mayfield that I mean, he looks like he
- 34:42could be a star. But then there are games that
- 34:44you're wondering what the hell is this guy doing in the pocket?
- 34:47Why is he moving outside of the pocket and making a throw like
- 34:49that? You question what Baker is doing
- 34:52in in very important parts of the the game.
- 34:55I want to mention to your article, you were mentioning
- 34:56comparing the the the draft quarterbacks and obviously Rosa
- 34:59was a bust obviously, but you look at the other. 4 The only
- 35:02bust, yeah. Yeah, you look at the other four
- 35:03and you look at Baker and Darnold.
- 35:05We've seen them have their great flashes.
- 35:06We've also seen them like crumble kind of later in the
- 35:08season. You saw that last year with the
- 35:10Baker, too, kind of stumbled down the stretch.
- 35:12Obviously, he had injury issues to do, but they lost to
- 35:14Washington. He made the mistakes in that
- 35:15game. And then Sam Darnold, the last
- 35:17three games with the Vikings really fell apart too.
- 35:19And you hope that same kind of thing doesn't happen with
- 35:20Seattle. And then there's Lamar Jackson,
- 35:22who it seems like when the Ravens are a higher seed, he
- 35:25plays not as well, but the Ravens a lower seed.
- 35:27Now you wonder if he has a sense of adversity now being a four
- 35:29seed, which the Ravens, that's the last time they won the Super
- 35:31Bowl, were a four seed and they've done very well as a six
- 35:33seed too. You want.
- 35:33You want to hear something crazy about that draft?
- 35:36It was a great draft, and it could go down as one of the
- 35:38greatest quarterback drafts of all time.
- 35:40But guess what? None of those players played in
- 35:42a Super Bowl yet. None of them.
- 35:44None of them with all that talent, Lamar Jackson, who won
- 35:47how many MVPS? So Josh Allen, who just won his
- 35:51first, Baker Mayfield was up for an MVP this year.
- 35:54Sam Donald was up for an MVP this year.
- 35:57I mean, just think about it, how talented all these quarterbacks
- 36:00are and none of them have played in a Super Bowl yet.
- 36:02None of them. And that's why you were saying
- 36:04before with Aaron Rodgers, too, Like Aaron Rodgers maybe isn't
- 36:06considered one of the greatest, like overall quarterbacks over
- 36:10Tom Brady and stuff like that. But at the same time, Aaron
- 36:12Rodgers and also Drew Brees played in the NFC, where there's
- 36:14a lot more parody. Whereas even now with the AFC
- 36:17there's like barely any parody because until this year the
- 36:19Chiefs were just running away with everything.
- 36:20It's been a great year and it's been a full year with Jabba
- 36:24Chamberlain. It's been a full year with Fish.
- 36:27It's been a full year with all of you guys.
- 36:29It's been a great one. The factor where we are and
- 36:33where we're going to be next year could be special.
- 36:36I, I couldn't have done it without any of you guys.
- 36:39I again, specifically the work that gets put on on put in on
- 36:45the back end is, is amazing and I appreciate everybody's hard
- 36:50work and dedication. I, I have a lot of love for
- 36:53everybody, all the fans out there listening to us and TuneIn
- 36:55and download and look out for the craziness that could come
- 37:00about this show. We appreciate you guys and I, I
- 37:04guess I'm going to speak for, I guess unless Jabba wants to
- 37:07speak to for, for the fans. I, I appreciate everybody that
- 37:13puts the work into this show. So.
- 37:15Yeah, I mean, I don't, I don't know if words can express.
- 37:18You guys have literally, I thought I was a sports fan.
- 37:23I wasn't. And you guys have opened my eyes
- 37:26to so many things and where I pay attention to so many things
- 37:30different because I don't want to sound like a Jackass.
- 37:33And you guys have just like opened me up where I look at
- 37:37sports so differently and it's made me look at life
- 37:41differently. And, you know, just embodying
- 37:45what sports can do for all of us and not only opening us up to,
- 37:52to different perspectives and different thoughts and views,
- 37:56but opening us up as people and bring us the greatest thing
- 37:59about sports. And I think that's the greatest
- 38:01thing about this show cuz you don't ever know what you're
- 38:03going to get. And it's been awesome.
- 38:06It's been frustrating at times. It definitely has.
- 38:09I love you guys, but it has been and you know, we crawl before we
- 38:14walk and it's just been it. It's going to be a fun journey.
- 38:19And I know it's frustrating sometimes for, for all of us in,
- 38:22in different ways, but I'm so grateful to have these moments
- 38:29and, and where I can, I can share my thoughts and I can be
- 38:33me. And, and you guys don't judge me
- 38:36and our fans don't because I love them because they're the
- 38:41reason why we do this. We love sports, but we love
- 38:45giving a different perspective and maybe a different thought or
- 38:48a different view. So man, I hope it's been a fun
- 38:52year. I think we've learned a lot from
- 38:55each other and I, I truly, genuinely appreciate that.
- 38:59And it's been a tough year for everybody.
- 39:00Like, I mean, that's, that's life though.
- 39:03But what we look forward to is, is the things that lie ahead and
- 39:08just very fortunate to be in this opportunity and and do
- 39:12these things with you guys. So I appreciate first and
- 39:15foremost, because I know time is precious and I appreciate your
- 39:19guys's time. And more importantly, I
- 39:22appreciate you use the effort and the fact that you care about
- 39:26what we're doing and just thank you guys so much.
- 39:29I mean, there's, there's not much more I can say.
- 39:31I want to before I let everybody go and I want to thank everybody
- 39:36on Apple and Spotify that TuneIn and download and write all these
- 39:42crazy things on all the Reddit fans that say the the most
- 39:48derogatory funny things I've ever seen in my entire life.
- 39:52And on Instagram and TikTok and Facebook and all the fans, Jabba
- 39:58the Mouth fans in Worldwide Sports Radio network fans out
- 40:01there and all the guys that do their shows, you know, from you
- 40:05know. Josh Silverberg and his father
- 40:08and Eric and and then Snowman. Thank you to them for really
- 40:12putting out a good product. And and like I said, next year
- 40:17is a week away or less than a week away, actually a couple
- 40:20days away. And I'm going to say one thing
- 40:23to all the fans and all the people out there and all the
- 40:26podcasts out there, watch out. That's all I'm going to say.
- 40:31You can take it whatever way you want.
- 40:33Watch the F out. That's it anyways.
- 40:37I'm just going to give you 2 lines, Errol, that no one has
- 40:40got a more original show than what we do here.
- 40:43Everyone's got sports takes, but no one has the creativity.
- 40:47People are stealing segments from us that we see on the big
- 40:50shows. 100% that I know that I came up with with you on the
- 40:53phone, Errol. You know, so I'm real proud of
- 40:58kind of being a trendsetter as well in an industry that seems
- 41:02to be a lot of the same. Lost, Absolutely lost.
- 41:06You're absolutely right. Fish lost.
- 41:08And that's what you're seeing right now with WFAN and they're
- 41:12firing people and letting people go and Trinity Sports is gone
- 41:16and everything is flopping around and they're trying to
- 41:19figure out what to do next. Here's what you do.
- 41:22Watch out and look at the the talent that's out there and
- 41:25realize that there is talent right in front of your faces.

- 41:37sitting for such a long time and you're going to be paying.
- 41:41That's all I'm going to say. That's it.
- 41:43I, I had to add that because I'm just disgusted with the garbage
- 41:47that I've seen on television and radio over the last couple of
- 41:50years and it makes me sick to my stomach.
- 41:53Anyways, I'm going to let you guys say your final goodbyes for

- 42:23doing what you guys do. You know, it's all appreciative,
- 42:26of course, even Nathan. Shout out to the man.
- 42:28Nathan is in here, the PR manager, the man himself.
- 42:33But you, it's been a whole hell of a 365 days and looking
- 42:38forward to another 365 with y'all.
- 42:41Yeah, it's I've definitely been appreciative of all you guys are
- 42:44bringing me in eight years ago and seeing all different people
- 42:47come and go with this network too, but always supporting me
- 42:49and always helping me out with everything on the on this show
- 42:53and throughout the network as well.
- 42:54And all the guys that have been coming and going on this show as
- 42:57well. Fish, you brought a new new vibe
- 43:00since you joined the show back in January of 2024 and you've
- 43:03done a lot of great things. Tommy, You've been always the
- 43:06social media guy, fun guy to talk with offset a lot of the
- 43:09time even before Jabba, you came along and Jabba reaching out to
- 43:12you for the first time as a guest.
- 43:13I reached out to a lot of different Yankees and first time
- 43:15you ever had you in the show, you were a tremendous
- 43:17storyteller and and reached out at the time with the Yankees
- 43:21playoffs. And obviously we built something
- 43:22very nice and Nathan as well, and Nick Goody Nathan.
- 43:25Nick Goody that shout out to Goody.
- 43:28Yeah, Goody, Goody. The first time we had him on the
- 43:30show, it was funny. It was actually the first week
- 43:33we had Sylvester Williams on the show last year too.
- 43:35It was also the same week we had Goody on the same day and, and
- 43:37Goody Goody. I remember Goody because he came
- 43:39in 10 minutes early. I never saw a guest come in that
- 43:41early ever. And he was so fired up.
- 43:43He was so funny and always brought that good vibes.
- 43:46And of course, Nathan is our PR guy doing some great things.
- 43:49All this event planning, all that stuff.
- 43:50Fantastic. And shout out to all the fans,
- 43:52all the ones I've met in person, all the ones I have it in
- 43:53person, for supporting what we do here.
- 43:55I don't want to say something else before I go to Job a
- 43:57Chamberlain. I didn't think this was going to
- 44:00work. I didn't all right, I did.
- 44:02I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't think it was going to
- 44:05work, but it's been a fun ride and it's going to be a fun ride
- 44:09in 2026 because I I feel like we've built a good, good vibe
- 44:15and a good relationship. We have our differences at
- 44:18everything that we do, but that's what partners usually do.
- 44:21But I, I've grown to understand who you are as a person, not
- 44:25just as an athlete that I followed as a kid and or like to
- 44:30watch you throw a ball. I, I, I like throwing pitches at
- 44:33you and I'm sure you like to throw jabs at me, but I, I feel
- 44:37like we've built something and we're, we're building something
- 44:40that could be something really, really special.
- 44:43And I think fans, and I say this with with love and compassion,
- 44:49if if it wasn't for the people that understand what we're
- 44:52trying to do here, we wouldn't be here.
- 44:53So thank you to all of you guys. Anyways, that's it, Good night.
- 44:59Thank all of you, appreciate it well. 2026 here we come.
