Stolen BMW Chase Ends in Arrest | Cork News
At 2:30 AM in Cork, Gardaí intercepted a stolen BMW—stolen just hours earlier from Rochestown—that sped off after being pulled over, crashing into a patrol car. A high-speed chase ensued, involving multiple units including the Armed Support Unit, ending near Ballinhassig with a stinger device stopping the vehicle just before 3 AM. Four young men, three teens and a 19-year-old, were arrested and held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. The BMW X5 is now under forensic examination. Thankfully, no one was injured.
