- 0:01In this video, we're going to talk about major crisis for the
- 0:05US dollar, a big warning coming from a new source, and that's a
- 0:11big deal if you own silver or gold because it will have a
- 0:15major impact on the price of gold and the price of silver.
- 0:20We're also going to talk about $44 silver and that is nothing
- 0:24basement dwellers, $44.00. We, are we going to be satisfied
- 0:29with $44 silver? Heck no, we are not.
- 0:34And there's even a secret bonus factor that could drive the
- 0:38silver price crazy, crazy high numbers that we don't even want
- 0:42to talk about. But let's just say it's above
- 0:46$44 per oz. I believe we'll have $44.00 by
- 0:50Christmas of this year. Hey, thank you for being here
- 0:54today. It's a big deal when you come to
- 0:55the basement. You are the most important part.
- 0:58Leave a comment. I demand basement dwellers leave
- 1:02a comment in the comment section.
- 1:04Your thoughts matter. We read all the comments.
- 1:07It helps us get a feel from you and most importantly, to learn
- 1:11from you. And please subscribe to the
- 1:14channel. We're trying to grow our base,
- 1:16get the news out there to more and more people.
- 1:18And thank you in advance for any super chats.
- 1:21Let's talk about dollar doom, right?
- 1:25Because it does matter guys, this this thing right here,
- 1:29right? The more this goes down in
- 1:31value, the more silver and gold go up in value, the more that
- 1:37we're proven, I don't want to use the word right, but wise in
- 1:41our decision to invest in silver and gold.
- 1:45And let's just remember, right, if you'd invested all your
- 1:49money, think about this, if you'd invested in 1971.
- 1:53Now I was one year old, I don't know how old you were, but if
- 1:56you'd invested all of your Fiat paper money into gold or silver,
- 2:02but we'll focus on gold for right now in 1971.
- 2:06This thing has lost like 98% of its purchasing power versus gold
- 2:14and it's not going to stop. And I'm going to tell you why.
- 2:17And we're going to get into that one right now.
- 2:23The dollar unhinged is the dollar.
- 2:26Ask yourself, becoming unhinged. the US dollar is becoming,
- 2:30quote, unhinged paper currency, worst it's ever been.
- 2:36Radical revolutionary economic policies are needed now.
- 2:40This is coming from a person who worked in the Trump and Reagan
- 2:45administrations. Hold on, Art Laffer, let's get
- 2:52back up here to the top, OK? the US dollar is moving away
- 3:01from monetary stability and towards an unhinged paper
- 3:05currency, according to Doctor Arthur Laffer, founder and
- 3:10chairman of Laffer Association. And who is this guy, right?
- 3:13Who are we listening to talking about the dollar crisis, the
- 3:17dollar becoming unhinged? He's a former economic adviser
- 3:22to President Ronald Reagan and President Donald Trump who says
- 3:27the time is running out to reverse the trend.
- 3:31He says, quote, what we have, excuse me, in the world economy
- 3:35over the last 25 years is what I call a period of economic
- 3:40senescence. Darn it.
- 3:42I meant to look that word up, Lambert told Michelle McCrory,
- 3:47lead anchor at Kitco. The world's growth rates have
- 3:50declined dramatically and the red is what my little comments I
- 3:54put in here. The world economy, guys, is not
- 3:57growing, but the supply of Fiat currencies, paper, Unicorn fart
- 4:02dust, funny money, paper money, electronic money.
- 4:08It's expanding exponentially. What does that mean?
- 4:11That means the real value of what you can get with your paper
- 4:16money, right? Is the what you can get with
- 4:18your paper money is going down. How do we protect ourselves with
- 4:22silver, With gold, this decline? I can't.
- 4:25I'm sorry. Hold on one second here,
- 4:27basement dwellers. I apologize.
- 4:30I was not prepared. Sense definition.
- 4:36Let's see what he's talking about here.
- 4:39A condition or process of deterioration with age.
- 4:44OK, interesting. So he said what I call an an
- 4:51economic period of senescence of of breakdown.
- 4:55OK. This decline becomes
- 4:57dramatically apparent when seen through the lens of Bitcoin
- 5:01prices and gold prices, gold and Bitcoin prices.
- 5:04The dollar is not doing well at all.
- 5:06It's shown by the price of gold. The price of gold is $2500 an
- 5:11ounce in Bitcoin, 50K. That's a huge increase in the
- 5:15price of alternatives, he said. All these are signs of a
- 5:20breakdown of weakness, of fleeing the government policies.
- 5:25The only way of getting around this is with a radical
- 5:28revolutionary economic set of policies.
- 5:31And again, this guy worked in the Reagan administration and
- 5:34the Trump administration. This is coming from ex
- 5:38government officials. Jim Rickards is saying $27,000
- 5:43gold. I mean guys, these and Rickards
- 5:45worked in several presidential administrations.
- 5:47We are in a new period of the collapse of the US dollar.
- 5:53He said it. Not me, not you.
- 5:55Laffer pointed out that the US dollar has made itself
- 5:57unattractive as possible to the world transactions, warning that
- 6:01the greenback will be removed as the world reserve currency if
- 6:06the trust of the US dollar is not restored.
- 6:08Wait till you hear the statistics here in a second
- 6:11about how far the dollar has already fall fallen.
- 6:15We're in a new period of collapse of the US dollar and
- 6:17it's quite frightening. What will take its place is
- 6:20still up for grabs. People are moving into all sorts
- 6:25of alternatives to the US dollar.
- 6:27Maybe Bitcoin, maybe gold, maybe some other set of currencies,
- 6:32but that is the direction we are headed.
- 6:34People, guys, people are waking up.
- 6:37All right, it's starting to percolate here in the United
- 6:40States and really hasn't happened yet.
- 6:42And wait till we talk about later in this video about what
- 6:45happens when people do wake up. Here's the stats and green.
- 6:50This is backed by the Atlantic Council's Dollar Dominance
- 6:53Monitor, which shows that the share of U.S. dollar in global
- 7:00reserves has fallen from 72% in 2002 to only 58% today.
- 7:09That's a big decrease, guys, which is a loss of 14% in the
- 7:13last 22 years. He goes on to say there's
- 7:17nothing that can bring an economy to its knees quicker and
- 7:21faster than an unhinged paper currency.
- 7:23And those unhinged paper currencies lead to high interest
- 7:27rates. They lead to high inflation.
- 7:30We've talked about that. Inflation is not going anywhere.
- 7:33It's the only option that Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve
- 7:38has. I ask you, what other option do
- 7:41they have but to inflate away the current economic debt?
- 7:45The current economic financial crisis, in my opinion, that
- 7:50they've let us into, they lead to a huge expansion of the Fed's
- 7:54balance sheet. He described monetization of the
- 7:59debt, printing of money. You can say it in fancy ways,
- 8:02but the bottom line is the only way they can deal with this
- 8:05guy's is to devalue the dollar, to pay back the debt with much
- 8:09devalued dollars. And it's so important for us to
- 8:13remember as gold and silver investors that that is where we
- 8:18shine, where we get our protection.
- 8:21We're moving away from monetary stability.
- 8:23We're moving towards an unhinged paper currency.
- 8:27He noted that compared to other currencies, the US dollar is
- 8:30still the cleanest dirty shirt in the hop sack.
- 8:34It's the best used car on the crappiest used car lot in your
- 8:38local city. Imagine going to one of those,
- 8:41you know, we we finance anything cars and they got 15 really
- 8:46crappy used cars, right? The dollar is the best of the
- 8:5015. Still a crappy car.
- 8:53I'm sorry. However, when compared hold on
- 8:58one second, when compared to goods and services, it's about
- 9:08as bad as I've ever seen it. And in red I threw in there,
- 9:12like we talked about earlier, the dollars lost 99% of its
- 9:15purchasing power when compared to gold since 1971.
- 9:20The price of gold is a clear sign that the dollar is less
- 9:23trustworthy than it used to be. The fact that people are buying
- 9:26Bitcoin and gold is a clear sign of distrust in the US dollar,
- 9:30Laffer. Laffer said there's nothing to
- 9:33Bitcoin except as an alternative means of payment on a global
- 9:37scene. Look, and I'm not trying to
- 9:40raise the ire of the Bitcoin people out there, but what he's
- 9:42saying is what does it mean when Bitcoin is there is nothing to
- 9:47it. I know it's the blockchain.
- 9:50I know I'm not anti Bitcoin, don't get mad at me.
- 9:53But the this thing that is nothing has become valuable.
- 9:58I'll leave it at that. Again, Bitcoin people, gold
- 10:01people. We share so much in common.
- 10:04Let's be friends, let's not be enemies.
- 10:06I'm not anti Bitcoin, I don't own any Bitcoin.
- 10:10I own precious metals, actually more silver than gold actually.
- 10:14I digress. One of the solutions to the US
- 10:17spiraling towards an unhinged currency is a return to sound
- 10:21money. However, the question becomes
- 10:23how to return global trust to the US dollar, Laffer said,
- 10:26pointing to Bitcoin and gold as potential top alternatives.
- 10:31What we've done this is we say this all the time, is had a
- 10:34synthetic currency for a long time.
- 10:38I've used that word for the last six months.
- 10:41It's all synthetic. You know, it's like fake
- 10:44leather. It's like fake make believe.
- 10:46It's, it's it's Unicorn fart does however you want to say it.
- 10:49The whole monetary system, everything except for gold and
- 10:54silver has become so synthetic Credit debt, you know, right.
- 10:58The whole thing. OK, starting with the 1913
- 11:03Federal Reserve Board Act, the government has been monopolizing
- 11:08money. And what they've done is they've
- 11:10lost the ability to create a usable, trustworthy means of
- 11:15payment. Bitcoin is one very real
- 11:18possibility in this scenario, and gold is another one that can
- 11:21be done as well. Let's go.
- 11:24This is fun, guys. OK, so he brought up, wow, thank
- 11:28you, guys. We've got 300 people on a Sunday
- 11:30morning. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 11:31Share it with all your friends. Most importantly, I want to say
- 11:35thank you for being here. A lot of us call ourselves
- 11:38basement dwellers, right? Because we're talking the real
- 11:40truth. We've been right about a lot of
- 11:43stuff over the last two years. I don't claim to have a crystal
- 11:46ball. I know the silver and gold price
- 11:48will continue to go higher. That's my truth that I will
- 11:52continue to preach. You need to make up your own
- 11:55mind. Don't make any financial
- 11:56decisions based on anything I'm saying, OK?
- 12:00Listen to me, listen to other people and use that brain that
- 12:03you have. Share with us what you think we
- 12:05want to learn from you. But let's go check out what
- 12:08Laffer was talking about. This I think says it all, guys,
- 12:12when we when we think about the Federal Reserve being created,
- 12:17OK, This my friends, was Woodrow Wilson in 1919.
- 12:22He was the president of the United States.
- 12:25What does this mean? When the the guy who was
- 12:27president when the Federal Reserve was created says this,
- 12:32He says, and this is after the fact.
- 12:34In 1919, he signed the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.
- 12:40So six years after he helped create the United States Federal
- 12:44Reserve, President Woodrow Wilson said this.
- 12:48He said I'm the most unhappy man.
- 12:50I have unwittingly ruined my country.
- 12:54A great industrial nation is now controlled by its system of
- 12:58credit. We are no longer a government by
- 13:01free opinion, no longer a government by conviction in the
- 13:05vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and
- 13:09duress of a small group of dominant men.
- 13:14That's the president of the United States who signed the
- 13:18Federal Reserve Act, reflecting upon his decision six years
- 13:23later, saying that he is now the most unhappy man, expressing
- 13:28undeniable regret for what he had done.
- 13:32I, I, I respect, and I imagine you do, too.
- 13:35The fact that he was honest and was able to come out and say,
- 13:38hey, I made a mistake, right? We all make mistakes.
- 13:41President Woodrow Wilson, we salute you for admitting that
- 13:45you made a mistake. What's going to happen this
- 13:47week, week with the silver and gold price?
- 13:50Let's touch on that and then let's talk on talk about $44
- 13:54silver, maybe higher by Christmas.
- 13:56I think it's a wild card again this coming week.
- 13:59Look, there's been weeks when I told you I thought we'd be
- 14:01higher. I thought we've been lower.
- 14:03What we know right now is that we have $2500 gold.
- 14:09OK. I want to read for you a comment
- 14:12that came in from a viewer. I forgot to load it up, but it's
- 14:16on this very subject and I think it's something that we need to
- 14:19talk about as a prospect for this week.
- 14:27Here it is. This is from Father Venice, Los
- 14:31Angeles. He says next week I would
- 14:34suspect, meaning this coming week, once again profit taking
- 14:38would occur. Like since this year following
- 14:42each and every all time high spot prices attain profit taking
- 14:47happened sending the yellow metal gold price back below US
- 14:51$2400 per Troy oz U.S. dollar 100 plus per try oz decline or
- 14:57retracement. Ron, you may have to prepare to
- 15:00put the basement bears blindfold back on.
- 15:03That's the the bear, right? He's got his $2500 blindfold
- 15:08taken off. Will we see a retracement this
- 15:13week? Look, everything's possible.
- 15:16I think this coming weeks a wild card.
- 15:18It'll be interesting for us to watch today this later on today,
- 15:22Sunday night when the futures markets open up, what the price
- 15:26action is in gold and silver. I have a feeling, OK, I'll make
- 15:31a prediction that on Monday, that'll be tomorrow, we'll start
- 15:35the week with either a big 1% or more up move in gold and silver,
- 15:41could be two or three percent or down move.
- 15:44It's going to be volatile One Direction or the other.
- 15:49You know, they may, they may pull out the cannons, the
- 15:51manipulators and try to knock down the price of gold tonight.
- 15:55Maybe a 50 or $100 decline, who knows.
- 16:00OK. But I think there's also equal
- 16:03chance that we're going to see a big increase this coming week.
- 16:07So what I'm saying is I'll be very surprised if at the end of
- 16:12trading tomorrow and in particular the end of trading
- 16:15this coming week that we have a gold price around $2500.
- 16:20I think we're going to be near 24 or 26.
- 16:24That's my prediction. Let me know what you think in
- 16:27the comments. Where do you think next Sunday
- 16:30the gold price will be? I'm going to go optimistic.
- 16:33I want to hear you what you have to say.
- 16:36And so do the other basement dwellers.
- 16:39I think we'll be at 2600. OK, let's talk about silver
- 16:45guys. Gold is at an all time high.
- 16:47We can still say that right now. But what about silver?
- 16:50Why is silver lagging behind? I have a more extensive video on
- 16:55this subject coming out later today.
- 16:57But right now we need to talk about the silver price, right,
- 17:00$29.00 Yes, it's good, I'm not complaining, right?
- 17:04But far, far from the $50 price that it hit in 1980 and in 2011.
- 17:13And we're going to talk about both of those scenarios.
- 17:15When will we get a new all time high in the price of silver?
- 17:21I think we'll get $44.00 by Christmas, OK?
- 17:26I think there's also a pretty good chance that we could go
- 17:28even beyond $44.00, that we could get that new all time high
- 17:32this year. There's a lot going on
- 17:35politically and otherwise, but let's take a look.
- 17:38Let's compare where we are now with what happened in 1980.
- 17:42And I've got about nine quick points we're going to run
- 17:44through that I think will indicate to you and me, right,
- 17:49that we really are on the launchpad for silver.
- 17:52Do you feel it? Us face from the dwellers.
- 17:56We're ready for it, right? Who doesn't love this stuff?
- 17:59Here's here's three of my favorites.
- 18:02You know them, you love them, OK, right.
- 18:05A Morgan and two Peace dollars. Just listen, right?
- 18:09That's not Jingle Bells, baby. That's the sound of silver.
- 18:13And I hear the sound of $50 silver in the near horizon.
- 18:16So as we compare 1980 to now, OK #1 back then it was easier for
- 18:24the mining industry to ratchet up mine output.
- 18:27There was still more low hanging fruit guys.
- 18:29It's almost darn near impossible for a silver miner right now to
- 18:34increase their silver output. The other thing, have you
- 18:37thought about this? There was a lot more of this.
- 18:40This is pre 1964. These are these are a Morgan and
- 18:44Peace silver dollars. OK, that you're hearing there
- 18:47was a lot more of this around in 1980.
- 18:52It had only been what, 16 years since they've taken silver out
- 18:56of money. So there was a lot more
- 18:58available supply of silver to get fed in back in 1980.
- 19:02What about from a demand perspective?
- 19:04What's different now compared to back then?
- 19:07Back then, if you wanted to buy silver, you had to go wait in
- 19:10line at the local coin shop. Now, if you want to buy silver,
- 19:14how much more quickly can the supplies be drained?
- 19:17Literally in the matter of hours?
- 19:20Think about that. Compare now to then.
- 19:23I don't think we pay enough attention to this.
- 19:25We just take for granted that we can get as much silver as we
- 19:29want, but when there's a squeeze, when there's a run on
- 19:33silver now, it's wiped out in hours instead of days or weeks
- 19:39like back in the 80s where you had to get into your your
- 19:42Volkswagen Bug and drive to the local coin shop and wait in line
- 19:45for three hours just to buy some silver.
- 19:48Now, if there's a run on silver, it takes hours, minutes, maybe
- 19:52days at most for the entire supply to get wiped out.
- 19:56We saw that previously, right during the little banking crisis
- 20:0016 months ago. We saw that during the C19
- 20:03crisis. OK, that's different now than
- 20:061980. There's no China, no India
- 20:10demand. Let's go take a look here.
- 20:14OK, let's, let's remember our friend Woodrow.
- 20:17But let's take a look at this. This is 800,000 people lined up
- 20:23after the, after the Chinese lunar holiday, 800,000 people to
- 20:29buy gold at like 1 store. I mean, it was unbelievable.
- 20:34We, we didn't have that. There were not, there were not
- 20:39billions of people in China and India in 1980 that were wanting
- 20:43to buy silver. That's different now then then
- 20:47the world is different. The bricks thing coming up is
- 20:50different. OK, in October.
- 20:53We're living in different times. You can't argue that.
- 20:57I'll argue with you if you want, but we are living in much
- 21:00different Times Now than in 1980.
- 21:02The the overall growing demand profile now compared 1980, we
- 21:08had $50.00 an ounce. Think about now how we've got
- 21:14the EV, Samsung's got some new battery that's going to take a
- 21:17kilogram of silver, solar panels, AI, microprocessor
- 21:22chips. I mean, the the demand for
- 21:24silver is through the roof. Sure, there was demand for
- 21:27silver in 1980, but nothing, no growth prospects like we have
- 21:32now. Things are different.
- 21:35Things are different right now. The national debt, the US debt
- 21:40clock didn't even exist in 1980. You couldn't go onto the
- 21:45Internet in 1980 and get it up-to-the-minute reading on how
- 21:50in debt. I mean, we had some debt, no
- 21:53doubt, but not like we have not the complete cluster bomb
- 21:58financial situation that we find ourselves in now in the United
- 22:01States, which will only result, like we talked about earlier in
- 22:05this video, in dilution in the value of the money going down.
- 22:10It wasn't the case back then. You know, guys, we're, we're,
- 22:13we're past the threshold. We're spending more money right
- 22:18now, right, on interest, just interest, not paying off the
- 22:22debt, just paying the interest on the debt.
- 22:25Then we are on National Defense. That's the point of no return.
- 22:28We got what, a debt to GDP ratio of whatever it is.
- 22:33So that's different. Major difference.
- 22:37Major, major. Oh boy.
- 22:40And this one's going to get you excited.
- 22:42Do you want to be excited? Us basement dwellers want to be
- 22:45excited. Major, major, major difference.
- 22:50OK. Back then, there was a lot more
- 22:53of the world's financial assets already invested in the precious
- 22:58metals. I hear numbers like 2%, three
- 23:00percent, 4 percent, 5%. I don't know exactly what it was
- 23:04in 1980, but it was a heck of a lot higher than it was now.
- 23:07We'll conservatively say 2% of the world's money financial
- 23:13assets were invested in precious metals, silver and gold.
- 23:17That is whoa. And this is good, right?
- 23:21This is good, right? Now it's like .5%, right?
- 23:25We'd have to go up by four times.
- 23:27I want to give you an analogy. What we've done, what you've
- 23:30seen up to now with the silver price and the gold price.
- 23:34This is why I know, I know. That doesn't mean you have to
- 23:40know. Again, use your own judgement,
- 23:42right? I'm a silver pumper.
- 23:45This is what I believe. I could be wrong, although
- 23:48usually I'm right. I know that the price of silver
- 23:52is going higher because it's just a as we go from that .5% to
- 23:57two or three percent, that's multiple more times money coming
- 24:02into not just silver but gold as well.
- 24:05I want you to, I want you to to come with me on a little story.
- 24:09OK, What silver and gold in particular?
- 24:13Gold's at an all time high. Oh, take a breath.
- 24:17Gold is at an all time high, the godfather of precious metals,
- 24:26right? The leader of the pack, the
- 24:28alpha male, alpha female. However you want to say I don't
- 24:30want to offend anybody is at all time highs.
- 24:36Silver's doing OK. We don't, we don't like, we love
- 24:39and hate $29.00 silver. But I want you to come with me
- 24:44on the story. They have done that.
- 24:46They have accomplished this, OK, right.
- 24:50Under unfavorable circumstances, it's like this.
- 24:55Like, I'm not a big sports guy, but we'll use a sports analogy
- 24:59and I'm going to date myself. But Michael Jordan was the
- 25:01world's greatest basketball player, played for the Chicago
- 25:04Bulls, right? OK, what gold and silver have
- 25:08done in the last year months, right?
- 25:13This unbelievable rally is, is like like the Chicago Bulls
- 25:18being in the NBA Championship series.
- 25:20They got 7 games, but for the first two games, Michael
- 25:24Jordan's injured. So they don't have their star
- 25:27player, but they still win the games without their star player.
- 25:32And that's what the gold and silver price have done over the
- 25:34last year or so. They've performed well, but
- 25:38without their star player, and their star player is the Western
- 25:43investor. When that Western when Michael
- 25:46Jordan comes back to the bowls, right?
- 25:49When the when the Western investor comes back.
- 25:53Think about this and we go from .5%.
- 25:57Are you kidding me? That means one in every $200.00
- 26:02in the world is invested in silver and gold.
- 26:05Well, what about when that one in $200.00 becomes four in 200?
- 26:11That's new money coming in to buy gold, new money coming in to
- 26:15buy silver. We can't emphasize that enough.
- 26:18And I have proof here. Here I want you want some inside
- 26:22information from the CEO of a bullion company.
- 26:26Well, let's go out. Let's go out and let's say thank
- 26:32you to channel sponsor Pembex. But I got a message from Mike,
- 26:35the CEO, Co CEO him and his brother owned, I don't know, I
- 26:39think there's Co CEOs how whatever it is, I have a message
- 26:42I want to read to you from him about what's going on and it
- 26:45relates directly to what we just talked about.
- 26:48Michael Jordan, the Western investor still hasn't come back
- 26:52in force. OK, but first, let's say thank
- 26:54you to channel sponsor 10 backs. It's real easy guys, real easy.
- 27:00If you want to buy silver, gold or platinum group metals, spend
- 27:04a little time, do a little research, OK?
- 27:07Compare all the online bullion dealers.
- 27:10Compare them all, compare their reputation, compare the price
- 27:15that you get, compare the selection.
- 27:18OK, I did that. I did that about what 16 months
- 27:22ago after a couple of you guys, basement dwellers said you
- 27:25should check out this company Pembacs, couple of them.
- 27:28OK, I'll check them out. I did and I made a couple
- 27:31purchases and I was very happy, right?
- 27:33They checked all the boxes for me.
- 27:36I knew I could trust them. I knew that I knew that I was,
- 27:40that they had what I wanted and I knew that I was getting a
- 27:43great price. To me, those are the important
- 27:46things. So if you're out shopping around
- 27:48for silver, gold, platinum, group metals, throw them into
- 27:51the mix. Find out for yourself.
- 27:53I think you'll find what I found.
- 27:54They really do check all the boxes.
- 27:56Now when we talk about when we talk about what is going on
- 28:00right now with the retail investor, welcome to the bubble.
- 28:06All right, we live in a little bubble.
- 28:08We have to recognize that. A little fish aquarium, but then
- 28:10that's great because we need to stick together.
- 28:13We're basement dwellers. We love our silver, love our
- 28:16gold, but everybody else is outside the bubble, OK.
- 28:20And right now we're still waiting for them to come back
- 28:23because I got a message here from Mike.
- 28:25He's, I asked him, I said, have you, did you see about a big
- 28:28uptick in sales when we hit record level gold prices, when
- 28:32the silver price came roaring back from 2650 to $29.00 per oz?
- 28:36He said, Ron, it's been exciting to watch the gold price
- 28:40officially breach $2500 and bring silver along for the ride.
- 28:47From what we're seeing, retail, state retail sales are still
- 28:52coming in but not yet elevated. I'm sure a lot of folks are
- 28:56waiting to see how this one plays out.
- 28:59Either way, we're living in interesting times and we expect
- 29:02much higher numbers from here. Hold on.
- 29:07So what we're hearing and I and I, and I don't want to put words
- 29:10in the coin shop Chris, you know, guys all know coin shop
- 29:13Chris, good friend of the channel.
- 29:16He now runs the world's fastest growing precious metals YouTube
- 29:19channel, coin shop Chris. You can check that out as well.
- 29:23But I'm getting my, you know, we, we talk on a regular basis
- 29:26and it seems like sales are good, but not great is what I'm
- 29:31feeling. And I think that's what I felt
- 29:33from Mike, right? Like there hasn't been a mad
- 29:35rush. The mad rush hasn't even
- 29:38happened yet. And buckle up, buttercup,
- 29:41because when it does, it's going to be, it's going to be crazy.
- 29:45And what else do we know? So here, what else?
- 29:47Imagine we hit all time high, all time high in gold this week.
- 29:53Are you seeing that being it's not being mentioned in the
- 29:57mainstream media yet? That's another major catalyst,
- 30:02right? When they can't ignore it any
- 30:04longer, when CNBC has to talk about gold, has to talk about
- 30:10silver, guys, it could be an absolute avalanche of new people
- 30:16coming into the precious metal sector.
- 30:18Look at this great piece. This comes from our friends over
- 30:25at the Silver Academy, OK. And this is about the lack of
- 30:33media coverage on silver and gold, but we're going to talk
- 30:36about gold as well. And I think this puts things
- 30:39into perspective. A little story about a shiny
- 30:42rock. I'll give you a hint.
- 30:44He's referring to gold that skyrocketed from $35 to 2500 in
- 30:49exactly 53 years. That's a staggering 71.4% 71
- 30:56times. Gold went up 71 times in value
- 30:59during that period. Keep this fact in mind.
- 31:01It could be a question on Jeopardy.
- 31:04They talk about the history of gold after World War Two.
- 31:07If you guys don't know, right at the end of World War Two when
- 31:11the United States with Russia essentially conquered the world,
- 31:15they had the Bretton Woods conference.
- 31:17It was in 1944 established the US dollar as the world's global
- 31:22reserve currency. This system allowed countries,
- 31:25other countries, to peg their currencies to the dollar.
- 31:29And the dollar was we were on the gold standard.
- 31:31The dollar was convertible to gold at a fixed rate.
- 31:35The French did not like that. OK.
- 31:37French President Charles de Gaulle famously criticized the
- 31:40system, coining the term exorbitant privilege to describe
- 31:44EU s s ability to print money and exchange it for tangible
- 31:48goods. This is the Nixon shock.
- 31:51The Nixon shock in the end of gold convertibility.
- 31:54This all is to be considered within the context of the fact
- 31:58that gold became the enemy of the Federal Reserve, gold became
- 32:04the enemy of the US government. And this all happened in 1971
- 32:14because in 71 the situation reached a critical point when
- 32:17France, under de Gaulle's influence, sent the Navy ship to
- 32:20the United States to demand conversion of its dollar
- 32:25reserves into gold. This action highlighted the
- 32:28growing distrust in the dollar's value and the sustainability of
- 32:34the Bretton Woods system. In response, President Richard
- 32:37Nixon announced the suspension of the dollars convertibility
- 32:43into gold, a move known as the Nixon shock.
- 32:48This effectively closed the gold window, ending the Bretton Woods
- 32:52system and transitioning to a Fiat currency system where in
- 32:57green the dollar was no longer backed by gold.
- 33:01And how did that work out for the dollar?
- 33:04OK, here we go. In August of 1971, Gosh, it was
- 33:12just a few days ago Nixon decoupled the dollar, ending the
- 33:15$35 per oz fixed rate. Just yesterday, that would be
- 33:20Friday. 53 years later on pretty much the exact same day, gold
- 33:26hit $2500 an ounce. A staggering is almost 72%
- 33:30increase, but there was 0 coverage from Bloomberg, Yahoo
- 33:36Finance, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal.
- 33:40U.S. media ignored this milestone reflecting the Federal
- 33:44Reserve influence. The Federal Reserve hates gold
- 33:48and silver. The situation echoes the Nathan
- 33:52Meyer Rothschild quote on monetary control.
- 33:55This is where the Rothschild said hey, I don't care here,
- 33:59let's just read this. This is the Rothschilds.
- 34:01I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to
- 34:05rule the Empire on which the sun never sets.
- 34:08The man who controls the British money supply controls the
- 34:13British Empire and I control the British money supply.
- 34:17Let's see what Frank Gestra Gestra had to say.
- 34:20Gestra, here he is, right, this guy, super rich, gold and
- 34:26silver. Frank is like big time respected
- 34:29in the precious metal sector, he said.
- 34:31Gold hits an all time high in U.S. dollars, the highest ever
- 34:36and not a mention in C on CNBC's on the CNBC's of the world.
- 34:41The US mainstream media has done a great disservice to its
- 34:45audience by never acknowledging the one asset class that has
- 34:49outperformed everything else for the past two decades.
- 34:54OK, that's the situation, guys. That's the world that we're
- 34:58living in right now. We'll just ignore what's going
- 35:02on with silver. We'll just ignore what's going
- 35:06on with gold. But I want you to think about
- 35:08this. Who's not ignoring what's going
- 35:11on? You're not ignoring.
- 35:13I'm not ignoring, right? And the whole group of people,
- 35:16there's a lot of other people out there that Chris Marcus, the
- 35:19Andy Scheckman's, the bald guy monies.
- 35:22We're not ignoring what's going on, right?
- 35:26But we are a big minority in the West.
- 35:28We got to stick together, OK? We got and we are.
- 35:31I'm proud of us silver and gold enthusiasts, and I'm especially
- 35:35proud of you basement dwellers, right?
- 35:36We know what's going on, but who else is not ignoring what's
- 35:41going on? Pretty much everybody else in
- 35:44the world that's not in a Western country, right, The 2.8
- 35:50billion people, that's almost 10 times the population alone of
- 35:56the United States. Think about that. 10 times the
- 36:00population of the United States. That's the combined populations
- 36:05of India and China. And we know the people.
- 36:10There's two big components we need to consider.
- 36:13The people, the individuals, right, that make up the silver
- 36:16and gold market in those countries is staggering and
- 36:20they're buying more and more guys in China.
- 36:24They don't trust the stock market.
- 36:26If we were Chinese people, we wouldn't be speaking English,
- 36:30but we also wouldn't trust the stock market.
- 36:34We wouldn't trust the real estate market.
- 36:36They've all been burned in the residential real estate market,
- 36:40and we certainly as Chinese people wouldn't trust the banks
- 36:44or the paper money. They're waste.
- 36:48They're not smarter than us, but the average Chinese person is
- 36:52like us and way smarter than the average American person.
- 36:57Again, I'm not talking about you because you're here, right?
- 37:00Learning, right? And involved and enthused about
- 37:05silver and gold. But wait, there's more.
- 37:10Because it's not just the Chinese population, the Indian
- 37:14population. India is the precious metals
- 37:16capital of the world. They're importing more silver.
- 37:22They import like 20% of the world's silver production every
- 37:28year, right? India alone.
- 37:31And we know that Indian households, average Indian
- 37:34people. If we were Indians living in
- 37:36India, guess what? If we're average, we've got
- 37:40gold. Indian housewives, they invest
- 37:44in gold through jewelry, right? Because they're afraid that if
- 37:47their husbands leave them be, like the only thing they can't
- 37:50take, it's the gold jewelry. Indian households have 25,000
- 37:54metric tons of gold. That's more than three times
- 37:57what the United States supposedly has in Fort Knox.
- 38:02And they're importing silver like crazy.
- 38:05We know that in China, the government think about this
- 38:10there, there there's so much demand for gold that the Chinese
- 38:13government is now recommending influencing their citizens to
- 38:21buy silver. It gets even crazier when you
- 38:25think about this fact Now the Chinese, the Chinese companies,
- 38:31Chinese government, right is making direct off take deals
- 38:37with Mexican silver miners. They are bypassing all together
- 38:42the Comex and the LBMA saying we'll just take the raw or we'll
- 38:48process it ourselves. The what do they call that
- 38:50stuff? Not sludge, but whatever it is
- 38:52the, the actual, you know, not we, you don't need to send us
- 38:55silver bars refined. We'll handle that.
- 38:58Just send us over. The the things are changing.
- 39:02Things are changing massively. And on top of it all, we know.
- 39:08And if we just focus in they, I think they've lost control.
- 39:11Do you feel that way? It feels like the West has lost
- 39:15control of gold. It feels like with silver,
- 39:19there's still a little ways to go, right?
- 39:23We know we have proof. We've read it a million times,
- 39:29this memo that was written back in the 1970s when they were
- 39:32setting up the futures markets, the paper right, the paper
- 39:37market for silver where there's 200 paper oz 300, whatever 150
- 39:43depends on the day paper ounces of silver traded for each one
- 39:48real ounce of silver that's out there.
- 39:51I think they still have a little more control over silver, but
- 39:55their grasp. Did you, do you feel it?
- 39:59You feel it? Their grasp, right?
- 40:01They're losing it. They're losing it.
- 40:04It's changing now. And when you think about this
- 40:07fact that for so many years, decades, guys, there are people
- 40:12that came before us, some of them have passed away, who spent
- 40:16their entire career. Working to prove that the silver
- 40:20price is manipulated. It's like a beach ball they've
- 40:23held underwater and it's starting to get harder and
- 40:27harder for them to hold it underwater.
- 40:30I think gold is broken free. But do you feel that with
- 40:33silver, things are still still have a little ways to go?
- 40:36But it's happening and it's happening right now.
- 40:40Hey, I really appreciate you joining.
- 40:41On behalf of Susie and myself, our whole family, thank you for
- 40:45being part of the basement. You really are the most
- 40:48important part. Please, if you haven't already,
- 40:52subscribe to the channel. Press the bell, the little Ding,
- 40:55a Ling bell. That way you'll get notified.

- 41:00Thank you for all the support. That's what I want to say.
- 41:02And I really look at it as a big privilege.
- 41:05When you spend this time with us in the basement, I want you to
- 41:09feel like you found a little home away from home.
- 41:12We can have some fun. We can joke around, right?
- 41:14But we're serious business when it comes to silver and gold.
- 41:18And we're serious business when I'm telling you, I want you to
- 41:21come back, have a great rest of your day, OK?
- 41:24And I will see you soon.
