$44 Silver 🚨 and THIS Happens RIGHT NOW! 🚨 · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
In this video, we're going to talk about major crisis for the
0:05
US dollar, a big warning coming from a new source, and that's a
0:11
big deal if you own silver or gold because it will have a
0:15
major impact on the price of gold and the price of silver.
0:20
We're also going to talk about $44 silver and that is nothing
0:24
basement dwellers, $44.00. We, are we going to be satisfied
0:29
with $44 silver? Heck no, we are not.
0:34
And there's even a secret bonus factor that could drive the
0:38
silver price crazy, crazy high numbers that we don't even want
0:42
to talk about. But let's just say it's above
0:46
$44 per oz. I believe we'll have $44.00 by
0:50
Christmas of this year. Hey, thank you for being here
0:54
today. It's a big deal when you come to
0:55
the basement. You are the most important part.
0:58
Leave a comment. I demand basement dwellers leave
1:02
a comment in the comment section.
1:04
Your thoughts matter. We read all the comments.
1:07
It helps us get a feel from you and most importantly, to learn
1:11
from you. And please subscribe to the
1:14
channel. We're trying to grow our base,
1:16
get the news out there to more and more people.
1:18
And thank you in advance for any super chats.
1:21
Let's talk about dollar doom, right?
1:25
Because it does matter guys, this this thing right here,
1:29
right? The more this goes down in
1:31
value, the more silver and gold go up in value, the more that
1:37
we're proven, I don't want to use the word right, but wise in
1:41
our decision to invest in silver and gold.
1:45
And let's just remember, right, if you'd invested all your
1:49
money, think about this, if you'd invested in 1971.
1:53
Now I was one year old, I don't know how old you were, but if
1:56
you'd invested all of your Fiat paper money into gold or silver,
2:02
but we'll focus on gold for right now in 1971.
2:06
This thing has lost like 98% of its purchasing power versus gold
2:14
and it's not going to stop. And I'm going to tell you why.
2:17
And we're going to get into that one right now.
2:23
The dollar unhinged is the dollar.
2:26
Ask yourself, becoming unhinged. the US dollar is becoming,
2:30
quote, unhinged paper currency, worst it's ever been.
2:36
Radical revolutionary economic policies are needed now.
2:40
This is coming from a person who worked in the Trump and Reagan
2:45
administrations. Hold on, Art Laffer, let's get
2:52
back up here to the top, OK? the US dollar is moving away
3:01
from monetary stability and towards an unhinged paper
3:05
currency, according to Doctor Arthur Laffer, founder and
3:10
chairman of Laffer Association. And who is this guy, right?
3:13
Who are we listening to talking about the dollar crisis, the
3:17
dollar becoming unhinged? He's a former economic adviser
3:22
to President Ronald Reagan and President Donald Trump who says
3:27
the time is running out to reverse the trend.
3:31
He says, quote, what we have, excuse me, in the world economy
3:35
over the last 25 years is what I call a period of economic
3:40
senescence. Darn it.
3:42
I meant to look that word up, Lambert told Michelle McCrory,
3:47
lead anchor at Kitco. The world's growth rates have
3:50
declined dramatically and the red is what my little comments I
3:54
put in here. The world economy, guys, is not
3:57
growing, but the supply of Fiat currencies, paper, Unicorn fart
4:02
dust, funny money, paper money, electronic money.
4:08
It's expanding exponentially. What does that mean?
4:11
That means the real value of what you can get with your paper
4:16
money, right? Is the what you can get with
4:18
your paper money is going down. How do we protect ourselves with
4:22
silver, With gold, this decline? I can't.
4:25
I'm sorry. Hold on one second here,
4:27
basement dwellers. I apologize.
4:30
I was not prepared. Sense definition.
4:36
Let's see what he's talking about here.
4:39
A condition or process of deterioration with age.
4:44
OK, interesting. So he said what I call an an
4:51
economic period of senescence of of breakdown.
4:55
OK. This decline becomes
4:57
dramatically apparent when seen through the lens of Bitcoin
5:01
prices and gold prices, gold and Bitcoin prices.
5:04
The dollar is not doing well at all.
5:06
It's shown by the price of gold. The price of gold is $2500 an
5:11
ounce in Bitcoin, 50K. That's a huge increase in the
5:15
price of alternatives, he said. All these are signs of a
5:20
breakdown of weakness, of fleeing the government policies.
5:25
The only way of getting around this is with a radical
5:28
revolutionary economic set of policies.
5:31
And again, this guy worked in the Reagan administration and
5:34
the Trump administration. This is coming from ex
5:38
government officials. Jim Rickards is saying $27,000
5:43
gold. I mean guys, these and Rickards
5:45
worked in several presidential administrations.
5:47
We are in a new period of the collapse of the US dollar.
5:53
He said it. Not me, not you.
5:55
Laffer pointed out that the US dollar has made itself
5:57
unattractive as possible to the world transactions, warning that
6:01
the greenback will be removed as the world reserve currency if
6:06
the trust of the US dollar is not restored.
6:08
Wait till you hear the statistics here in a second
6:11
about how far the dollar has already fall fallen.
6:15
We're in a new period of collapse of the US dollar and
6:17
it's quite frightening. What will take its place is
6:20
still up for grabs. People are moving into all sorts
6:25
of alternatives to the US dollar.
6:27
Maybe Bitcoin, maybe gold, maybe some other set of currencies,
6:32
but that is the direction we are headed.
6:34
People, guys, people are waking up.
6:37
All right, it's starting to percolate here in the United
6:40
States and really hasn't happened yet.
6:42
And wait till we talk about later in this video about what
6:45
happens when people do wake up. Here's the stats and green.
6:50
This is backed by the Atlantic Council's Dollar Dominance
6:53
Monitor, which shows that the share of U.S. dollar in global
7:00
reserves has fallen from 72% in 2002 to only 58% today.
7:09
That's a big decrease, guys, which is a loss of 14% in the
7:13
last 22 years. He goes on to say there's
7:17
nothing that can bring an economy to its knees quicker and
7:21
faster than an unhinged paper currency.
7:23
And those unhinged paper currencies lead to high interest
7:27
rates. They lead to high inflation.
7:30
We've talked about that. Inflation is not going anywhere.
7:33
It's the only option that Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve
7:38
has. I ask you, what other option do
7:41
they have but to inflate away the current economic debt?
7:45
The current economic financial crisis, in my opinion, that
7:50
they've let us into, they lead to a huge expansion of the Fed's
7:54
balance sheet. He described monetization of the
7:59
debt, printing of money. You can say it in fancy ways,
8:02
but the bottom line is the only way they can deal with this
8:05
guy's is to devalue the dollar, to pay back the debt with much
8:09
devalued dollars. And it's so important for us to
8:13
remember as gold and silver investors that that is where we
8:18
shine, where we get our protection.
8:21
We're moving away from monetary stability.
8:23
We're moving towards an unhinged paper currency.
8:27
He noted that compared to other currencies, the US dollar is
8:30
still the cleanest dirty shirt in the hop sack.
8:34
It's the best used car on the crappiest used car lot in your
8:38
local city. Imagine going to one of those,
8:41
you know, we we finance anything cars and they got 15 really
8:46
crappy used cars, right? The dollar is the best of the
8:50
15. Still a crappy car.
8:53
I'm sorry. However, when compared hold on
8:58
one second, when compared to goods and services, it's about
9:08
as bad as I've ever seen it. And in red I threw in there,
9:12
like we talked about earlier, the dollars lost 99% of its
9:15
purchasing power when compared to gold since 1971.
9:20
The price of gold is a clear sign that the dollar is less
9:23
trustworthy than it used to be. The fact that people are buying
9:26
Bitcoin and gold is a clear sign of distrust in the US dollar,
9:30
Laffer. Laffer said there's nothing to
9:33
Bitcoin except as an alternative means of payment on a global
9:37
scene. Look, and I'm not trying to
9:40
raise the ire of the Bitcoin people out there, but what he's
9:42
saying is what does it mean when Bitcoin is there is nothing to
9:47
it. I know it's the blockchain.
9:50
I know I'm not anti Bitcoin, don't get mad at me.
9:53
But the this thing that is nothing has become valuable.
9:58
I'll leave it at that. Again, Bitcoin people, gold
10:01
people. We share so much in common.
10:04
Let's be friends, let's not be enemies.
10:06
I'm not anti Bitcoin, I don't own any Bitcoin.
10:10
I own precious metals, actually more silver than gold actually.
10:14
I digress. One of the solutions to the US
10:17
spiraling towards an unhinged currency is a return to sound
10:21
money. However, the question becomes
10:23
how to return global trust to the US dollar, Laffer said,
10:26
pointing to Bitcoin and gold as potential top alternatives.
10:31
What we've done this is we say this all the time, is had a
10:34
synthetic currency for a long time.
10:38
I've used that word for the last six months.
10:41
It's all synthetic. You know, it's like fake
10:44
leather. It's like fake make believe.
10:46
It's, it's it's Unicorn fart does however you want to say it.
10:49
The whole monetary system, everything except for gold and
10:54
silver has become so synthetic Credit debt, you know, right.
10:58
The whole thing. OK, starting with the 1913
11:03
Federal Reserve Board Act, the government has been monopolizing
11:08
money. And what they've done is they've
11:10
lost the ability to create a usable, trustworthy means of
11:15
payment. Bitcoin is one very real
11:18
possibility in this scenario, and gold is another one that can
11:21
be done as well. Let's go.
11:24
This is fun, guys. OK, so he brought up, wow, thank
11:28
you, guys. We've got 300 people on a Sunday
11:30
morning. Please give this a thumbs up.
11:31
Share it with all your friends. Most importantly, I want to say
11:35
thank you for being here. A lot of us call ourselves
11:38
basement dwellers, right? Because we're talking the real
11:40
truth. We've been right about a lot of
11:43
stuff over the last two years. I don't claim to have a crystal
11:46
ball. I know the silver and gold price
11:48
will continue to go higher. That's my truth that I will
11:52
continue to preach. You need to make up your own
11:55
mind. Don't make any financial
11:56
decisions based on anything I'm saying, OK?
12:00
Listen to me, listen to other people and use that brain that
12:03
you have. Share with us what you think we
12:05
want to learn from you. But let's go check out what
12:08
Laffer was talking about. This I think says it all, guys,
12:12
when we when we think about the Federal Reserve being created,
12:17
OK, This my friends, was Woodrow Wilson in 1919.
12:22
He was the president of the United States.
12:25
What does this mean? When the the guy who was
12:27
president when the Federal Reserve was created says this,
12:32
He says, and this is after the fact.
12:34
In 1919, he signed the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.
12:40
So six years after he helped create the United States Federal
12:44
Reserve, President Woodrow Wilson said this.
12:48
He said I'm the most unhappy man.
12:50
I have unwittingly ruined my country.
12:54
A great industrial nation is now controlled by its system of
12:58
credit. We are no longer a government by
13:01
free opinion, no longer a government by conviction in the
13:05
vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and
13:09
duress of a small group of dominant men.
13:14
That's the president of the United States who signed the
13:18
Federal Reserve Act, reflecting upon his decision six years
13:23
later, saying that he is now the most unhappy man, expressing
13:28
undeniable regret for what he had done.
13:32
I, I, I respect, and I imagine you do, too.
13:35
The fact that he was honest and was able to come out and say,
13:38
hey, I made a mistake, right? We all make mistakes.
13:41
President Woodrow Wilson, we salute you for admitting that
13:45
you made a mistake. What's going to happen this
13:47
week, week with the silver and gold price?
13:50
Let's touch on that and then let's talk on talk about $44
13:54
silver, maybe higher by Christmas.
13:56
I think it's a wild card again this coming week.
13:59
Look, there's been weeks when I told you I thought we'd be
14:01
higher. I thought we've been lower.
14:03
What we know right now is that we have $2500 gold.
14:09
OK. I want to read for you a comment
14:12
that came in from a viewer. I forgot to load it up, but it's
14:16
on this very subject and I think it's something that we need to
14:19
talk about as a prospect for this week.
14:27
Here it is. This is from Father Venice, Los
14:31
Angeles. He says next week I would
14:34
suspect, meaning this coming week, once again profit taking
14:38
would occur. Like since this year following
14:42
each and every all time high spot prices attain profit taking
14:47
happened sending the yellow metal gold price back below US
14:51
$2400 per Troy oz U.S. dollar 100 plus per try oz decline or
14:57
retracement. Ron, you may have to prepare to
15:00
put the basement bears blindfold back on.
15:03
That's the the bear, right? He's got his $2500 blindfold
15:08
taken off. Will we see a retracement this
15:13
week? Look, everything's possible.
15:16
I think this coming weeks a wild card.
15:18
It'll be interesting for us to watch today this later on today,
15:22
Sunday night when the futures markets open up, what the price
15:26
action is in gold and silver. I have a feeling, OK, I'll make
15:31
a prediction that on Monday, that'll be tomorrow, we'll start
15:35
the week with either a big 1% or more up move in gold and silver,
15:41
could be two or three percent or down move.
15:44
It's going to be volatile One Direction or the other.
15:49
You know, they may, they may pull out the cannons, the
15:51
manipulators and try to knock down the price of gold tonight.
15:55
Maybe a 50 or $100 decline, who knows.
16:00
OK. But I think there's also equal
16:03
chance that we're going to see a big increase this coming week.
16:07
So what I'm saying is I'll be very surprised if at the end of
16:12
trading tomorrow and in particular the end of trading
16:15
this coming week that we have a gold price around $2500.
16:20
I think we're going to be near 24 or 26.
16:24
That's my prediction. Let me know what you think in
16:27
the comments. Where do you think next Sunday
16:30
the gold price will be? I'm going to go optimistic.
16:33
I want to hear you what you have to say.
16:36
And so do the other basement dwellers.
16:39
I think we'll be at 2600. OK, let's talk about silver
16:45
guys. Gold is at an all time high.
16:47
We can still say that right now. But what about silver?
16:50
Why is silver lagging behind? I have a more extensive video on
16:55
this subject coming out later today.
16:57
But right now we need to talk about the silver price, right,
17:00
$29.00 Yes, it's good, I'm not complaining, right?
17:04
But far, far from the $50 price that it hit in 1980 and in 2011.
17:13
And we're going to talk about both of those scenarios.
17:15
When will we get a new all time high in the price of silver?
17:21
I think we'll get $44.00 by Christmas, OK?
17:26
I think there's also a pretty good chance that we could go
17:28
even beyond $44.00, that we could get that new all time high
17:32
this year. There's a lot going on
17:35
politically and otherwise, but let's take a look.
17:38
Let's compare where we are now with what happened in 1980.
17:42
And I've got about nine quick points we're going to run
17:44
through that I think will indicate to you and me, right,
17:49
that we really are on the launchpad for silver.
17:52
Do you feel it? Us face from the dwellers.
17:56
We're ready for it, right? Who doesn't love this stuff?
17:59
Here's here's three of my favorites.
18:02
You know them, you love them, OK, right.
18:05
A Morgan and two Peace dollars. Just listen, right?
18:09
That's not Jingle Bells, baby. That's the sound of silver.
18:13
And I hear the sound of $50 silver in the near horizon.
18:16
So as we compare 1980 to now, OK #1 back then it was easier for
18:24
the mining industry to ratchet up mine output.
18:27
There was still more low hanging fruit guys.
18:29
It's almost darn near impossible for a silver miner right now to
18:34
increase their silver output. The other thing, have you
18:37
thought about this? There was a lot more of this.
18:40
This is pre 1964. These are these are a Morgan and
18:44
Peace silver dollars. OK, that you're hearing there
18:47
was a lot more of this around in 1980.
18:52
It had only been what, 16 years since they've taken silver out
18:56
of money. So there was a lot more
18:58
available supply of silver to get fed in back in 1980.
19:02
What about from a demand perspective?
19:04
What's different now compared to back then?
19:07
Back then, if you wanted to buy silver, you had to go wait in
19:10
line at the local coin shop. Now, if you want to buy silver,
19:14
how much more quickly can the supplies be drained?
19:17
Literally in the matter of hours?
19:20
Think about that. Compare now to then.
19:23
I don't think we pay enough attention to this.
19:25
We just take for granted that we can get as much silver as we
19:29
want, but when there's a squeeze, when there's a run on
19:33
silver now, it's wiped out in hours instead of days or weeks
19:39
like back in the 80s where you had to get into your your
19:42
Volkswagen Bug and drive to the local coin shop and wait in line
19:45
for three hours just to buy some silver.
19:48
Now, if there's a run on silver, it takes hours, minutes, maybe
19:52
days at most for the entire supply to get wiped out.
19:56
We saw that previously, right during the little banking crisis
20:00
16 months ago. We saw that during the C19
20:03
crisis. OK, that's different now than
20:06
1980. There's no China, no India
20:10
demand. Let's go take a look here.
20:14
OK, let's, let's remember our friend Woodrow.
20:17
But let's take a look at this. This is 800,000 people lined up
20:23
after the, after the Chinese lunar holiday, 800,000 people to
20:29
buy gold at like 1 store. I mean, it was unbelievable.
20:34
We, we didn't have that. There were not, there were not
20:39
billions of people in China and India in 1980 that were wanting
20:43
to buy silver. That's different now then then
20:47
the world is different. The bricks thing coming up is
20:50
different. OK, in October.
20:53
We're living in different times. You can't argue that.
20:57
I'll argue with you if you want, but we are living in much
21:00
different Times Now than in 1980.
21:02
The the overall growing demand profile now compared 1980, we
21:08
had $50.00 an ounce. Think about now how we've got
21:14
the EV, Samsung's got some new battery that's going to take a
21:17
kilogram of silver, solar panels, AI, microprocessor
21:22
chips. I mean, the the demand for
21:24
silver is through the roof. Sure, there was demand for
21:27
silver in 1980, but nothing, no growth prospects like we have
21:32
now. Things are different.
21:35
Things are different right now. The national debt, the US debt
21:40
clock didn't even exist in 1980. You couldn't go onto the
21:45
Internet in 1980 and get it up-to-the-minute reading on how
21:50
in debt. I mean, we had some debt, no
21:53
doubt, but not like we have not the complete cluster bomb
21:58
financial situation that we find ourselves in now in the United
22:01
States, which will only result, like we talked about earlier in
22:05
this video, in dilution in the value of the money going down.
22:10
It wasn't the case back then. You know, guys, we're, we're,
22:13
we're past the threshold. We're spending more money right
22:18
now, right, on interest, just interest, not paying off the
22:22
debt, just paying the interest on the debt.
22:25
Then we are on National Defense. That's the point of no return.
22:28
We got what, a debt to GDP ratio of whatever it is.
22:33
So that's different. Major difference.
22:37
Major, major. Oh boy.
22:40
And this one's going to get you excited.
22:42
Do you want to be excited? Us basement dwellers want to be
22:45
excited. Major, major, major difference.
22:50
OK. Back then, there was a lot more
22:53
of the world's financial assets already invested in the precious
22:58
metals. I hear numbers like 2%, three
23:00
percent, 4 percent, 5%. I don't know exactly what it was
23:04
in 1980, but it was a heck of a lot higher than it was now.
23:07
We'll conservatively say 2% of the world's money financial
23:13
assets were invested in precious metals, silver and gold.
23:17
That is whoa. And this is good, right?
23:21
This is good, right? Now it's like .5%, right?
23:25
We'd have to go up by four times.
23:27
I want to give you an analogy. What we've done, what you've
23:30
seen up to now with the silver price and the gold price.
23:34
This is why I know, I know. That doesn't mean you have to
23:40
know. Again, use your own judgement,
23:42
right? I'm a silver pumper.
23:45
This is what I believe. I could be wrong, although
23:48
usually I'm right. I know that the price of silver
23:52
is going higher because it's just a as we go from that .5% to
23:57
two or three percent, that's multiple more times money coming
24:02
into not just silver but gold as well.
24:05
I want you to, I want you to to come with me on a little story.
24:09
OK, What silver and gold in particular?
24:13
Gold's at an all time high. Oh, take a breath.
24:17
Gold is at an all time high, the godfather of precious metals,
24:26
right? The leader of the pack, the
24:28
alpha male, alpha female. However you want to say I don't
24:30
want to offend anybody is at all time highs.
24:36
Silver's doing OK. We don't, we don't like, we love
24:39
and hate $29.00 silver. But I want you to come with me
24:44
on the story. They have done that.
24:46
They have accomplished this, OK, right.
24:50
Under unfavorable circumstances, it's like this.
24:55
Like, I'm not a big sports guy, but we'll use a sports analogy
24:59
and I'm going to date myself. But Michael Jordan was the
25:01
world's greatest basketball player, played for the Chicago
25:04
Bulls, right? OK, what gold and silver have
25:08
done in the last year months, right?
25:13
This unbelievable rally is, is like like the Chicago Bulls
25:18
being in the NBA Championship series.
25:20
They got 7 games, but for the first two games, Michael
25:24
Jordan's injured. So they don't have their star
25:27
player, but they still win the games without their star player.
25:32
And that's what the gold and silver price have done over the
25:34
last year or so. They've performed well, but
25:38
without their star player, and their star player is the Western
25:43
investor. When that Western when Michael
25:46
Jordan comes back to the bowls, right?
25:49
When the when the Western investor comes back.
25:53
Think about this and we go from .5%.
25:57
Are you kidding me? That means one in every $200.00
26:02
in the world is invested in silver and gold.
26:05
Well, what about when that one in $200.00 becomes four in 200?
26:11
That's new money coming in to buy gold, new money coming in to
26:15
buy silver. We can't emphasize that enough.
26:18
And I have proof here. Here I want you want some inside
26:22
information from the CEO of a bullion company.
26:26
Well, let's go out. Let's go out and let's say thank
26:32
you to channel sponsor Pembex. But I got a message from Mike,
26:35
the CEO, Co CEO him and his brother owned, I don't know, I
26:39
think there's Co CEOs how whatever it is, I have a message
26:42
I want to read to you from him about what's going on and it
26:45
relates directly to what we just talked about.
26:48
Michael Jordan, the Western investor still hasn't come back
26:52
in force. OK, but first, let's say thank
26:54
you to channel sponsor 10 backs. It's real easy guys, real easy.
27:00
If you want to buy silver, gold or platinum group metals, spend
27:04
a little time, do a little research, OK?
27:07
Compare all the online bullion dealers.
27:10
Compare them all, compare their reputation, compare the price
27:15
that you get, compare the selection.
27:18
OK, I did that. I did that about what 16 months
27:22
ago after a couple of you guys, basement dwellers said you
27:25
should check out this company Pembacs, couple of them.
27:28
OK, I'll check them out. I did and I made a couple
27:31
purchases and I was very happy, right?
27:33
They checked all the boxes for me.
27:36
I knew I could trust them. I knew that I knew that I was,
27:40
that they had what I wanted and I knew that I was getting a
27:43
great price. To me, those are the important
27:46
things. So if you're out shopping around
27:48
for silver, gold, platinum, group metals, throw them into
27:51
the mix. Find out for yourself.
27:53
I think you'll find what I found.
27:54
They really do check all the boxes.
27:56
Now when we talk about when we talk about what is going on
28:00
right now with the retail investor, welcome to the bubble.
28:06
All right, we live in a little bubble.
28:08
We have to recognize that. A little fish aquarium, but then
28:10
that's great because we need to stick together.
28:13
We're basement dwellers. We love our silver, love our
28:16
gold, but everybody else is outside the bubble, OK.
28:20
And right now we're still waiting for them to come back
28:23
because I got a message here from Mike.
28:25
He's, I asked him, I said, have you, did you see about a big
28:28
uptick in sales when we hit record level gold prices, when
28:32
the silver price came roaring back from 2650 to $29.00 per oz?
28:36
He said, Ron, it's been exciting to watch the gold price
28:40
officially breach $2500 and bring silver along for the ride.
28:47
From what we're seeing, retail, state retail sales are still
28:52
coming in but not yet elevated. I'm sure a lot of folks are
28:56
waiting to see how this one plays out.
28:59
Either way, we're living in interesting times and we expect
29:02
much higher numbers from here. Hold on.
29:07
So what we're hearing and I and I, and I don't want to put words
29:10
in the coin shop Chris, you know, guys all know coin shop
29:13
Chris, good friend of the channel.
29:16
He now runs the world's fastest growing precious metals YouTube
29:19
channel, coin shop Chris. You can check that out as well.
29:23
But I'm getting my, you know, we, we talk on a regular basis
29:26
and it seems like sales are good, but not great is what I'm
29:31
feeling. And I think that's what I felt
29:33
from Mike, right? Like there hasn't been a mad
29:35
rush. The mad rush hasn't even
29:38
happened yet. And buckle up, buttercup,
29:41
because when it does, it's going to be, it's going to be crazy.
29:45
And what else do we know? So here, what else?
29:47
Imagine we hit all time high, all time high in gold this week.
29:53
Are you seeing that being it's not being mentioned in the
29:57
mainstream media yet? That's another major catalyst,
30:02
right? When they can't ignore it any
30:04
longer, when CNBC has to talk about gold, has to talk about
30:10
silver, guys, it could be an absolute avalanche of new people
30:16
coming into the precious metal sector.
30:18
Look at this great piece. This comes from our friends over
30:25
at the Silver Academy, OK. And this is about the lack of
30:33
media coverage on silver and gold, but we're going to talk
30:36
about gold as well. And I think this puts things
30:39
into perspective. A little story about a shiny
30:42
rock. I'll give you a hint.
30:44
He's referring to gold that skyrocketed from $35 to 2500 in
30:49
exactly 53 years. That's a staggering 71.4% 71
30:56
times. Gold went up 71 times in value
30:59
during that period. Keep this fact in mind.
31:01
It could be a question on Jeopardy.
31:04
They talk about the history of gold after World War Two.
31:07
If you guys don't know, right at the end of World War Two when
31:11
the United States with Russia essentially conquered the world,
31:15
they had the Bretton Woods conference.
31:17
It was in 1944 established the US dollar as the world's global
31:22
reserve currency. This system allowed countries,
31:25
other countries, to peg their currencies to the dollar.
31:29
And the dollar was we were on the gold standard.
31:31
The dollar was convertible to gold at a fixed rate.
31:35
The French did not like that. OK.
31:37
French President Charles de Gaulle famously criticized the
31:40
system, coining the term exorbitant privilege to describe
31:44
EU s s ability to print money and exchange it for tangible
31:48
goods. This is the Nixon shock.
31:51
The Nixon shock in the end of gold convertibility.
31:54
This all is to be considered within the context of the fact
31:58
that gold became the enemy of the Federal Reserve, gold became
32:04
the enemy of the US government. And this all happened in 1971
32:14
because in 71 the situation reached a critical point when
32:17
France, under de Gaulle's influence, sent the Navy ship to
32:20
the United States to demand conversion of its dollar
32:25
reserves into gold. This action highlighted the
32:28
growing distrust in the dollar's value and the sustainability of
32:34
the Bretton Woods system. In response, President Richard
32:37
Nixon announced the suspension of the dollars convertibility
32:43
into gold, a move known as the Nixon shock.
32:48
This effectively closed the gold window, ending the Bretton Woods
32:52
system and transitioning to a Fiat currency system where in
32:57
green the dollar was no longer backed by gold.
33:01
And how did that work out for the dollar?
33:04
OK, here we go. In August of 1971, Gosh, it was
33:12
just a few days ago Nixon decoupled the dollar, ending the
33:15
$35 per oz fixed rate. Just yesterday, that would be
33:20
Friday. 53 years later on pretty much the exact same day, gold
33:26
hit $2500 an ounce. A staggering is almost 72%
33:30
increase, but there was 0 coverage from Bloomberg, Yahoo
33:36
Finance, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal.
33:40
U.S. media ignored this milestone reflecting the Federal
33:44
Reserve influence. The Federal Reserve hates gold
33:48
and silver. The situation echoes the Nathan
33:52
Meyer Rothschild quote on monetary control.
33:55
This is where the Rothschild said hey, I don't care here,
33:59
let's just read this. This is the Rothschilds.
34:01
I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to
34:05
rule the Empire on which the sun never sets.
34:08
The man who controls the British money supply controls the
34:13
British Empire and I control the British money supply.
34:17
Let's see what Frank Gestra Gestra had to say.
34:20
Gestra, here he is, right, this guy, super rich, gold and
34:26
silver. Frank is like big time respected
34:29
in the precious metal sector, he said.
34:31
Gold hits an all time high in U.S. dollars, the highest ever
34:36
and not a mention in C on CNBC's on the CNBC's of the world.
34:41
The US mainstream media has done a great disservice to its
34:45
audience by never acknowledging the one asset class that has
34:49
outperformed everything else for the past two decades.
34:54
OK, that's the situation, guys. That's the world that we're
34:58
living in right now. We'll just ignore what's going
35:02
on with silver. We'll just ignore what's going
35:06
on with gold. But I want you to think about
35:08
this. Who's not ignoring what's going
35:11
on? You're not ignoring.
35:13
I'm not ignoring, right? And the whole group of people,
35:16
there's a lot of other people out there that Chris Marcus, the
35:19
Andy Scheckman's, the bald guy monies.
35:22
We're not ignoring what's going on, right?
35:26
But we are a big minority in the West.
35:28
We got to stick together, OK? We got and we are.
35:31
I'm proud of us silver and gold enthusiasts, and I'm especially
35:35
proud of you basement dwellers, right?
35:36
We know what's going on, but who else is not ignoring what's
35:41
going on? Pretty much everybody else in
35:44
the world that's not in a Western country, right, The 2.8
35:50
billion people, that's almost 10 times the population alone of
35:56
the United States. Think about that. 10 times the
36:00
population of the United States. That's the combined populations
36:05
of India and China. And we know the people.
36:10
There's two big components we need to consider.
36:13
The people, the individuals, right, that make up the silver
36:16
and gold market in those countries is staggering and
36:20
they're buying more and more guys in China.
36:24
They don't trust the stock market.
36:26
If we were Chinese people, we wouldn't be speaking English,
36:30
but we also wouldn't trust the stock market.
36:34
We wouldn't trust the real estate market.
36:36
They've all been burned in the residential real estate market,
36:40
and we certainly as Chinese people wouldn't trust the banks
36:44
or the paper money. They're waste.
36:48
They're not smarter than us, but the average Chinese person is
36:52
like us and way smarter than the average American person.
36:57
Again, I'm not talking about you because you're here, right?
37:00
Learning, right? And involved and enthused about
37:05
silver and gold. But wait, there's more.
37:10
Because it's not just the Chinese population, the Indian
37:14
population. India is the precious metals
37:16
capital of the world. They're importing more silver.
37:22
They import like 20% of the world's silver production every
37:28
year, right? India alone.
37:31
And we know that Indian households, average Indian
37:34
people. If we were Indians living in
37:36
India, guess what? If we're average, we've got
37:40
gold. Indian housewives, they invest
37:44
in gold through jewelry, right? Because they're afraid that if
37:47
their husbands leave them be, like the only thing they can't
37:50
take, it's the gold jewelry. Indian households have 25,000
37:54
metric tons of gold. That's more than three times
37:57
what the United States supposedly has in Fort Knox.
38:02
And they're importing silver like crazy.
38:05
We know that in China, the government think about this
38:10
there, there there's so much demand for gold that the Chinese
38:13
government is now recommending influencing their citizens to
38:21
buy silver. It gets even crazier when you
38:25
think about this fact Now the Chinese, the Chinese companies,
38:31
Chinese government, right is making direct off take deals
38:37
with Mexican silver miners. They are bypassing all together
38:42
the Comex and the LBMA saying we'll just take the raw or we'll
38:48
process it ourselves. The what do they call that
38:50
stuff? Not sludge, but whatever it is
38:52
the, the actual, you know, not we, you don't need to send us
38:55
silver bars refined. We'll handle that.
38:58
Just send us over. The the things are changing.
39:02
Things are changing massively. And on top of it all, we know.
39:08
And if we just focus in they, I think they've lost control.
39:11
Do you feel that way? It feels like the West has lost
39:15
control of gold. It feels like with silver,
39:19
there's still a little ways to go, right?
39:23
We know we have proof. We've read it a million times,
39:29
this memo that was written back in the 1970s when they were
39:32
setting up the futures markets, the paper right, the paper
39:37
market for silver where there's 200 paper oz 300, whatever 150
39:43
depends on the day paper ounces of silver traded for each one
39:48
real ounce of silver that's out there.
39:51
I think they still have a little more control over silver, but
39:55
their grasp. Did you, do you feel it?
39:59
You feel it? Their grasp, right?
40:01
They're losing it. They're losing it.
40:04
It's changing now. And when you think about this
40:07
fact that for so many years, decades, guys, there are people
40:12
that came before us, some of them have passed away, who spent
40:16
their entire career. Working to prove that the silver
40:20
price is manipulated. It's like a beach ball they've
40:23
held underwater and it's starting to get harder and
40:27
harder for them to hold it underwater.
40:30
I think gold is broken free. But do you feel that with
40:33
silver, things are still still have a little ways to go?
40:36
But it's happening and it's happening right now.
40:40
Hey, I really appreciate you joining.
40:41
On behalf of Susie and myself, our whole family, thank you for
40:45
being part of the basement. You really are the most
40:48
important part. Please, if you haven't already,
40:52
subscribe to the channel. Press the bell, the little Ding,
40:55
a Ling bell. That way you'll get notified.
40:58
And did I say subscribe? I don't know.
41:00
Thank you for all the support. That's what I want to say.
41:02
And I really look at it as a big privilege.
41:05
When you spend this time with us in the basement, I want you to
41:09
feel like you found a little home away from home.
41:12
We can have some fun. We can joke around, right?
41:14
But we're serious business when it comes to silver and gold.
41:18
And we're serious business when I'm telling you, I want you to
41:21
come back, have a great rest of your day, OK?
41:24
And I will see you soon.
