- 0:00Speaker 1: Danny and Cole 97 one Hank FM.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome to Wednesday. So far, it's been the perfect week
- 0:07Speaker 1: weather wise.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Yeah, so nice out.
- 0:10Speaker 1: I went to go look at the weather right now
- 0:12Speaker 1: and I just hit the wrong button. I was like, Oh,
- 0:13Speaker 1: that doesn't say whether that says text messages. 82 and
- 0:17Speaker 1: sunny today.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I'll take that. It's a little bit warmer than it
- 0:22Speaker 3: has been. That's okay. As long as we don't get
- 0:24Speaker 3: into the 90s again like we had been for a
- 0:26Speaker 3: while there.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You're good.
- 0:28Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You're settled in.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Yesterday, I ended up buying last-minute Fever tickets, went to
- 0:33Speaker 1: the Fever playoff game.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I saw that. I was jealous. I wanted to go.
- 0:37Speaker 2: We were kind of just talking about this a little
- 0:39Speaker 2: bit off the air.
- 0:41Speaker 1: We've been lucky, fortunate enough to go to a Pacers
- 0:43Speaker 1: playoff game.
- 0:44Speaker 2: You went to the Pacers finals game. Mm-hmm. Uh, I,
- 0:48Speaker 2: now I'm going to the WNBA playoff game. I don't
- 0:53Speaker 2: know if it had the same vibe. I wanted it
- 0:55Speaker 2: to have the same vibe. I wanted it to have
- 0:57Speaker 2: the same energy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And there was a lot of points where the crowd
- 0:59Speaker 1: was super into it, but I feel like we.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Got work to do Indy. It didn't feel that way
- 1:03Speaker 4: on TV when I was watching it. It seems like
- 1:06Speaker 4: it was packed. It seems like the crowd was really
- 1:08Speaker 4: into it.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It was a good time.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. Like when the crowd needed to be
- 1:12Speaker 1: into it, they were into it, but I feel like
- 1:14Speaker 1: the overall buzz.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Needed to be just like a little bit more. I
- 1:19Speaker 2: don't know. We'll see.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Fever are back tomorrow night in Las Vegas, 9 o'clock.
- 1:25Speaker 4: It is a must win. You get to win or
- 1:28Speaker 4: go home for both teams. Win and move on to
- 1:30Speaker 4: the second round, and then we'll get rolling in the
- 1:31Speaker 4: second round. And then the semifinals, and then the finals.
- 1:34Speaker 2: And then, yeah, we're going to just take it all.
- 1:35Speaker 3: And then we're going to take it all.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We've got Indie Scream Park Passes. You want to name
- 1:39Speaker 1: that Scream 635-ish? We're going to give you a chance
- 1:42Speaker 1: to win those. We've also got $ 500 back in the
- 1:45Speaker 1: new country cash.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Jackpot, $ 850. We'll tell you what time to win some money.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It's Annie and Cole, 97.1 Hank FM.
- 1:52Speaker 1: If you are looking for Thanksgiving tickets this Friday, we
- 1:56Speaker 1: are going to be at Moondrop's Distillery in Fortville.
- 1:59Speaker 2: 4 to 6. Free tickets.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Because Thanksgiving is a free concert, but you do need
- 2:04Speaker 1: a ticket.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Yeah, and this isn't the only ticket stop. They're all
- 2:07Speaker 4: around town every Friday during the month of October. You
- 2:10Speaker 4: can head to HankFM.com for all the details.
- 2:12Speaker 2: You're going to see Graylin James and the band Perry
- 2:14Speaker 2: for free.
- 2:15Speaker 3: They did what?
- 2:18Speaker 4: A motorcyclist in Virginia was pulled over for speeding the
- 2:21Speaker 4: other day.
- 2:21Speaker 3: He was going, like, really, really fast.
- 2:24Speaker 4: And when the police officer pulled him over, he told him,
- 2:27Speaker 4: I was moving a little too quick, wasn't I?
- 2:30Speaker 3: I was trying to hit the McDonald's breakfast. Well, I've
- 2:36Speaker 3: been there, right?
- 2:37Speaker 1: You know, I know there's, like, no excuse for, like,
- 2:42Speaker 1: speeding or anything like that. But do you think police
- 2:45Speaker 1: officers sometimes....
- 2:48Speaker 2: Like, when they're given these excuses, they're like.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Maybe we'll let them go this time.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It's Annie and Cole, 97.1 Hank FM. Our friends at
- 3:02Speaker 1: Indie Scream Park were like, hey, we got a bunch
- 3:04Speaker 1: of tickets. Would you like to give a bunch of
- 3:05Speaker 1: tickets away?
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yes, we would. Of course we would. We always would.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Four pack of tickets to Indie Scream Park this morning.
- 3:11Speaker 4: If you can name that scream, Annie.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Play it for us.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I will say the background music is what you should
- 3:25Speaker 1: be listening to.
- 3:27Speaker 3: That's what gave it away for me, too.
- 3:29Speaker 2: And I think she might be like the queen.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Of horror movies. That is also helpful.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 1: 317-663-9797.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I'm going to text your answer to us. Can you
- 3:38Speaker 3: name that screen this morning?
- 3:47Speaker 1: Did you think to yourself, I want to wake up
- 3:51Speaker 1: a winner? Or maybe you're like, I wake up a
- 3:53Speaker 1: winner every day. I just need an extra bonus, like
- 3:55Speaker 1: Indie Scream Park tickets.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Can you name that scream this morning a chance to
- 4:00Speaker 4: win a four-pack of Indie Scream Park tickets?
- 4:03Speaker 3: Take a listen today.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Scream.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I was trying to find better screams and it's literally
- 4:14Speaker 1: just the character Lori running around all the time doing that.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And then at one point she's like trying to, I
- 4:22Speaker 1: never realized how cheesy the first couple of these movies
- 4:25Speaker 1: were because I was little and I was scared.
- 4:28Speaker 3: She's like at the.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Door and she's like, door open, door open. And I'm like, oh,
- 4:33Speaker 2: come on, Lori. What are we doing?
- 4:35Speaker 3: The movie we were looking for today is.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Halloween.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Halloween.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the music is what gave it away
- 4:41Speaker 3: for me.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah, the little Michael Myers music.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Congratulations to our winner going to Indie Screen Park.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Another chance for you to win a four-pack of tickets
- 4:48Speaker 4: tomorrow morning with Annie and Cole on Hank FM.
- 4:51Speaker 2: 97.1 Hank FM with Annie and Cole.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Michelle, a winner yesterday of $ 1, 000 of new country cash.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And I love how the universe works. Like, she's already
- 5:00Speaker 1: putting in a deck in the backyard. Need to pay
- 5:03Speaker 1: it off.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Here's $ 1, 000.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Love that. That way you can take whatever money you're
- 5:07Speaker 1: going to spend on the deck... And do some new fun.
- 5:10Speaker 3: And like throw a party on the new deck.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I didn't even think about that. When it's finished, you're
- 5:15Speaker 2: ready to go.
- 5:16Speaker 1: We've got $ 500 back in that jackpot again today.
- 5:18Speaker 2: $ 850. We're going to tell you what time to be
- 5:20Speaker 2: listening to win.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yesterday had a last minute decision.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I was sitting at home. It was so nice out.
- 5:27Speaker 1: And I was like, you know, we've been talking about
- 5:30Speaker 1: the Fever playoff game. And I was keeping an eye
- 5:32Speaker 1: on tickets. And I was like, you know what? Like
- 5:34Speaker 1: you can get a ticket for like $ 11 to go
- 5:38Speaker 1: see a playoff basketball game That starts at 630. Yeah, I'm.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Going to go.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Bought a ticket last minute, went.
- 5:46Speaker 2: And when I was there, I had sort of a
- 5:47Speaker 2: moral dilemma.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And I don't know if it should have been this
- 5:51Speaker 1: big of a deal in my own head as it was,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but I'll share with you coming up.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Annie and Cole.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Who's in the wrong?
- 5:59Speaker 3: I haven't done anything wrong. Did I explain it wrong?
- 6:01Speaker 2: Okay, explain to me exactly what I did wrong. Go Fever!
- 6:06Speaker 1: Woo!
- 6:08Speaker 2: Picking up a dub yesterday at home.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Game two of the WNBA playoffs back in Vegas tomorrow
- 6:14Speaker 1: night since winner go home once again. Got a chance
- 6:19Speaker 1: to go to Cambridge Fieldhouse yesterday and it was a
- 6:22Speaker 1: red out. So they put T-shirts on every seat in
- 6:26Speaker 1: the arena.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I have one issue with this because I saw that
- 6:30Speaker 4: it was a red out when I turned it on.
- 6:31Speaker 4: I was like, oh, it looks cool. Why were the
- 6:33Speaker 4: Fever not also wearing red?
- 6:36Speaker 2: You're right.
- 6:37Speaker 3: That's my only issue with this.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I didn't think about that either.
- 6:40Speaker 1: But it's so funny because I'm wearing this gray Fever
- 6:42Speaker 1: shirt today and I put it on to go to
- 6:44Speaker 1: the game.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I was like, wait, I can't wear.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I mean, even though they're giving me a shirt to
- 6:47Speaker 1: wear when I get there, I was like, I can't
- 6:48Speaker 1: wear gray.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So I ended up getting the Fever shirt you ended
- 6:51Speaker 2: up giving me from a game.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I don't know, last season, whatever it was, this season.
- 6:56Speaker 1: And so when I went there, there was a lot
- 6:59Speaker 1: of seats that were not taken. And so the question became,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I have my one t-shirt that I got from my
- 7:05Speaker 1: seat that I paid for, but.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Does my buddy Cole need a t-shirt?
- 7:11Speaker 1: And is it wrong for me to take one off
- 7:13Speaker 1: another seat? So I sat with it for like the
- 7:16Speaker 1: first half. I didn't take a shirt. And I'm looking
- 7:19Speaker 1: and there's still like rows in the 200 sections that
- 7:22Speaker 1: have not been touched.
- 7:23Speaker 2: At this point, it's halftime. They're not. No one's coming
- 7:27Speaker 2: to get those. Can you take an extra shirt? I.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Think you can as long as you are confident that
- 7:39Speaker 4: nobody else is coming for that seat and that shirt
- 7:42Speaker 4: now if somebody does and they're like where's my shirt
- 7:44Speaker 4: maybe like oh sorry yeah here's your shirt back oh
- 7:47Speaker 4: i think it fell here you go yeah i'm sorry
- 7:50Speaker 4: um i usually to myself when i've been at a
- 7:56Speaker 4: pacers game or a fever game or whatever they have
- 7:57Speaker 4: shirts and then there's open seats and i'm eyeing that
- 8:01Speaker 4: shirt We'll wait until the end of the game. However,
- 8:06Speaker 4: other people are usually ahead of me there. And they'll
- 8:10Speaker 4: wait until halftime. They'll wait until the third quarter. And
- 8:13Speaker 4: I'm just sitting there watching it. And then someone comes
- 8:14Speaker 4: and snags it.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I'm like, dang it.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Because that's what happened.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I came back from getting ice cream, which, by the way,
- 8:21Speaker 1: was phenomenal at the game yesterday. And someone had taken
- 8:24Speaker 1: the one off the seat that I was in. I
- 8:26Speaker 1: was like, okay, well, now I got to make a decision.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Am I going to grab one or am I going
- 8:29Speaker 1: to wait and not get any?
- 8:30Speaker 2: And so I settled on getting one.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Extra brought it into the studio. But when I was leaving.
- 8:35Speaker 1: The stadium, there was people like stacks of shirts on
- 8:38Speaker 1: their shoulders.
- 8:40Speaker 3: That might be too much.
- 8:41Speaker 4: I think if you grab like one or two for
- 8:43Speaker 4: a friend or a family member or whatever, I think
- 8:46Speaker 4: one or two is fine. 15 is probably too much,
- 8:49Speaker 4: but also like the venue doesn't want to deal with them.
- 8:53Speaker 4: You're asking like some probably intern or part-timer from the
- 8:58Speaker 4: Pacers in the fever game bridge field house that has
- 9:00Speaker 4: to go around and collect all of them.
- 9:03Speaker 2: So is there a limit?
- 9:03Speaker 1: What is the limit of free shirts that you can
- 9:05Speaker 1: take when they're just sitting there?
- 9:07Speaker 2: Text or give us a call.
- 9:09Speaker 3: 317-663-9797.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Annie and Cole on Hank FM.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Who's in the wrong?
- 9:17Speaker 3: I haven't done anything wrong. Did I explain it wrong?
- 9:19Speaker 2: Okay, explain to me exactly what I did wrong.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Imagine this. You're at Cambridge Fieldhouse. It's a red-out fever game.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Empty seats. Nobody's claimed their shirts.
- 9:31Speaker 2: How many... It's too many to take home with you. Okay.
- 9:36Speaker 4: So on the Armory or text line at 317-663-9797, nobody
- 9:42Speaker 4: has a problem with taking extra. Okay. And I'm cool
- 9:45Speaker 4: with that. It's the amount that we are debating now.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Because maybe one or two is fine. This one says,
- 9:56Speaker 4: this one says it's a free shirt. It's just sitting there.
- 9:59Speaker 4: I don't think they're a limit take as many as
- 10:01Speaker 4: you want give them to your family and friends and
- 10:06Speaker 4: this one says i don't see anything wrong with taking
- 10:08Speaker 4: them it helps the stadium they don't have to collect
- 10:09Speaker 4: the shirts later.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, what is it like if you work at the
- 10:13Speaker 1: CDM and you have to put out all those shirts?
- 10:15Speaker 3: I bet it takes forever.
- 10:16Speaker 2: There's a shirt on every seat inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
- 10:19Speaker 3: And they all look, like, perfectly nice.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yes.
- 10:22Speaker 4: And perfectly set, so you can read, like, this one
- 10:24Speaker 4: says we don't do quiet.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Like, they all look perfect. Yeah, I bet it takes forever.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Because how many seats are in Gainbridge Fieldhouse?
- 10:33Speaker 3: Like, 17,000 or something like that? Too many to be putting.
- 10:36Speaker 2: A shirt on every seat. I don't know off the
- 10:37Speaker 2: top of.
- 10:37Speaker 3: My head, but... That's a lot. It would take a
- 10:40Speaker 3: long time.
- 10:41Speaker 4: You don't want to have to go back and pick
- 10:42Speaker 4: those up. I'm slowly inching my way to no limit.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Take as many as you want because of this. At first,
- 10:50Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, whatever.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Take one or two. No big deal. But if they're
- 10:54Speaker 3: just sitting there, if nobody's going to take them.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't see the problem with you taking maybe
- 11:00Speaker 4: five or six or whatever.
- 11:02Speaker 2: And we got another Annie and Cole Up Close concert tonight.
- 11:05Speaker 2: We're going to one.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Yeah, we are.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Preston Cooper going to be hanging out with us at
- 11:10Speaker 4: Slippery Noodle with our friends from Jack Daniels, too. And
- 11:13Speaker 4: we will get as much as we can posted up
- 11:15Speaker 4: on our social media pages. Annie and Cole on Facebook
- 11:17Speaker 4: and Instagram. Hank FM on those platforms as well. If
- 11:19Speaker 4: you didn't make the VIP list today. But there's a
- 11:23Speaker 4: VIP list still open for you on our website. Hankfm.com
- 11:27Speaker 4: to see Corey Kent, who is one of our favorites.
- 11:29Speaker 4: That is coming up next Friday. So make sure you
- 11:33Speaker 4: get registered to be on that VIP list.
- 11:34Speaker 1: That's coming fast, man. We just want you to be
- 11:37Speaker 1: a part of all the fun that we have here.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So again, Hankfm.com for all of those details. Do you
- 11:44Speaker 1: ever think that you would move somewhere based on the weather?
- 11:50Speaker 3: I think about it quite often, actually.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Because do we like Indiana weather?
- 11:55Speaker 4: This is what my parents are doing. They are moving
- 11:57Speaker 4: to Florida because they are tired of the winter. And
- 12:00Speaker 4: that is pretty common.
- 12:01Speaker 3: You hear of the snowbirds, right? They go south to
- 12:07Speaker 3: be warm in the winter.
- 12:08Speaker 2: They fly south for the winter.
- 12:09Speaker 3: And then they come back.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 3: But I have this list of the 10 worst weather
- 12:15Speaker 3: states ever. In the U.S. And I thought it was interesting.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Let's see what you think about it coming up. Do
- 12:20Speaker 3: you really want to know? Annie and Cole want to know.
- 12:24Speaker 4: I love living in Indiana. And I love so many
- 12:27Speaker 4: things about living here. The weather is not one of them.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I think about that a lot as somebody who's always
- 12:35Speaker 1: had winter in their life. But I have friends who
- 12:38Speaker 1: have moved from Indiana to a place that doesn't have winter.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And then they miss.
- 12:42Speaker 3: They miss winter.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Having Christmas.
- 12:45Speaker 3: With snow.
- 12:45Speaker 2: With snow.
- 12:48Speaker 4: There was snow like maybe a quarter of the time
- 12:50Speaker 4: on Christmas.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Before this year, which, I mean, we just got hit.
- 12:55Speaker 1: With so many weather things.
- 12:58Speaker 3: A couple of big things of snow.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Usually, we're pretty mild when it comes to extreme weather.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Usually.
- 13:04Speaker 2: This year, not the case.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I have a list for you from the Farmer's Almanac,
- 13:09Speaker 4: the 10 worst weather states in the U.S.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Oh, the book I read on the toilet.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Indiana is not in the 10 worst.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Number 10 was North Carolina. Nine, Illinois. Eight, Georgia. Seven, Missouri.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I'm surprised Illinois was on there and not Indiana.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty connected.
- 13:25Speaker 3: They feel pretty similar. Okay, so eight, Georgia. Seven, Missouri. Six, Colorado.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Five, Oklahoma.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Four, Kansas. Bottom three here. Louisiana, number three. Florida, number two.
- 13:39Speaker 3: My parents are moving down there here real, real soon.
- 13:44Speaker 4: And for Florida, it talks about how hot it is
- 13:46Speaker 4: in the summers and it Just how many hurricanes do
- 13:49Speaker 4: they get?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Number one, the top spot goes to Texas. Because they
- 13:55Speaker 3: get like everything. It's hot. They have tornadoes. They have hurricanes.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Ew, Texas.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah, they get a lot of stuff. But let's flip
- 14:05Speaker 3: this around.
- 14:08Speaker 4: If you were to move somewhere solely because of the weather,
- 14:11Speaker 4: kind of what my parents are doing, they don't mind moving.
- 14:14Speaker 3: The heat in the summers in Florida.
- 14:17Speaker 4: They want to escape the brutal winters here in the Midwest.
- 14:20Speaker 4: So that's why they're going. If you were to move
- 14:22Speaker 4: somewhere because of the weather, where would that be? If
- 14:26Speaker 4: you were to move somewhere because of the weather, Where
- 14:45Speaker 4: are you headed to? My parents are off to Florida
- 14:48Speaker 4: here in a few weeks, although Florida just making a
- 14:51Speaker 4: list of one of the worst weather states in the U.S.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:55Speaker 3: But they're not alone.
- 14:56Speaker 4: A lot of people move south because they want it
- 14:57Speaker 4: to be warm.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Everywhere you go, there's.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Always like some threat of something, right? Because if you're
- 15:02Speaker 1: like in the middle of the country, you get tornadoes.
- 15:05Speaker 1: If you're on the coast, you get hurricanes, you get earthquakes,
- 15:09Speaker 1: you know, cold weather, hot weather if you're in the desert.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So I was trying to think of the most perfect
- 15:14Speaker 1: place temperature that I experienced in all my travel because
- 15:17Speaker 1: I've been to all 50 states. And I think that
- 15:20Speaker 1: San Diego, California has the perfect temperature.
- 15:25Speaker 4: San Diego was very, very high on my list. It's
- 15:28Speaker 4: always mid 70s all the time.
- 15:31Speaker 1: It never really gets too cold. It never really gets
- 15:35Speaker 1: too hot. I don't hear about many earthquakes, although I
- 15:39Speaker 1: don't know.
- 15:39Speaker 3: They keep saying that.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Part of California is going to fall into the ocean eventually.
- 15:43Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 15:45Speaker 4: San Diego is a great choice. That was in my
- 15:47Speaker 4: top two. My other one is like Pacific Northwest.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I love that feel too.
- 15:53Speaker 4: When it's typically kind of foggy and it's a hoodie
- 15:57Speaker 4: weather and it usually stays pretty consistent there too. Although
- 16:01Speaker 4: the one time I was there, it was like upper 80s.
- 16:04Speaker 4: I'm not sure what that was about. But typically it's
- 16:07Speaker 4: like foggy and like hoodie and like low 60s, high 50s.
- 16:13Speaker 3: How do you feel?
- 16:13Speaker 4: Because both of those places that we just described, they
- 16:17Speaker 4: stay pretty consistent.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yes.
- 16:18Speaker 4: They don't really go through the waves of the seasons.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Is that something you think you would miss?
- 16:24Speaker 2: No, I'm not going to miss it. I don't think
- 16:26Speaker 2: so either.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I don't think I would either. It's Clickbait Cole on
- 16:32Speaker 3: Hank FM.
- 16:33Speaker 4: When is the earliest acceptable time to put up Halloween decorations?
- 16:37Speaker 3: I was driving around yesterday. I saw some up already.
- 16:41Speaker 4: I think I saw some that were up over the weekend,
- 16:44Speaker 4: this past weekend. Less than 20% of people think Halloween
- 16:48Speaker 4: decorations should be up in September. So.
- 16:53Speaker 4: But most people think it's perfectly acceptable to put them
- 16:55Speaker 4: up the first couple weeks of October.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's too late if you wait until weeks.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Because there are some people who are doing a lot
- 17:02Speaker 4: of work and you're only going to have it up
- 17:04Speaker 4: for a couple weeks.
- 17:05Speaker 1: No.
- 17:06Speaker 4: That doesn't feel like enough time to me. I think
- 17:08Speaker 4: I'm okay if you put them up this past weekend.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I think the correct time is probably this coming weekend.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Do as you feel is always how I think.
- 17:21Speaker 1: However, I have a husband who has strict rules on
- 17:24Speaker 1: this because he is a man who loves his yard.
- 17:27Speaker 2: He loves his grass.
- 17:29Speaker 1: And so he's always like, you can't put up your
- 17:32Speaker 1: cemetery in the grass, Annie, if I'm still trying to.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Mow the lawn.
- 17:35Speaker 4: I also think for someone like you that loves Halloween,
- 17:39Speaker 4: do it early if it makes you happy. I think
- 17:42Speaker 4: we keep moving up the Christmas decorations every year.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Well, my sister-in-law, again, this is different than putting up
- 17:48Speaker 1: at your house, but my sister-in-law works for Walmart, and
- 17:50Speaker 1: she sent a Snapchat last week that they were putting
- 17:53Speaker 1: out the Christmas trees, like in the garden center.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we'll do Christmas decorations this weekend, too.
- 18:00Speaker 1: No, absolutely not. We settle on the 1st of October,
- 18:04Speaker 1: so tomorrow... They're going up?
- 18:05Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't look at the weather.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I know we got rain at some point this week,
- 18:09Speaker 1: so I got to check the forecast.
- 18:12Speaker 2: No, tomorrow, 85 and partly sunny.
- 18:15Speaker 4: That could work for some Halloween decorations. Annie and Cole,
- 18:19Speaker 4: weekday mornings 6 to 10 on 97.1 Hank FM.
