- 0:00SPEAKER_00: You the adventurer?
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Yes, you.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Do you desire knowledge of immense worlds and arcane power?
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: A codex of untold stories and lore?
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Or perhaps simply easy listening for your daily commute?
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: And feast your eyes.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: Or more accurately, yes, upon Dungeon Pedia.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Shit's about to get nerdy in here.
- 0:46SPEAKER_03: Taylor Stanfield.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: And I'm Travisley.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: That was a delay.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, I was like, listening.
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: Alright, everything sounds good.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's me.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: She forgot her name.
- 0:58SPEAKER_03: Uh maybe.
- 0:59SPEAKER_03: She's trying a dramatic pause.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: Taylor Stanfield.
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 1:05SPEAKER_03: So okay.
- 1:08SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:08SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: So we all I say we all know.
- 1:12SPEAKER_03: Uh last time I talked about gem dragons.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: Um that is correct.
- 1:17SPEAKER_03: That is correct.
- 1:17SPEAKER_03: I did do that.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: And I said in that episode that the next episode was probably going to be about Sardior, the gem dragon god, and his buddies.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: Yes, you did say that.
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: I recall.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: I I recall this name.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: So he the the problem is, is uh I thought there was more there.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: There was not more there?
- 1:43SPEAKER_03: There was not more there.
- 1:44SPEAKER_03: I feel like this is the opposite problem that we have most of the time to where you think that something is a manageable amount of information, and then there's a lot more than you think.
- 1:56SPEAKER_03: Well, this is the opposite.
- 1:57SPEAKER_03: I thought there was a whole episode's worth of information on Sardior.
- 2:01SPEAKER_03: And there wasn't.
- 2:02SPEAKER_03: And then there wasn't.
- 2:04SPEAKER_03: I have been there before.
- 2:06SPEAKER_03: I do understand that.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: Sometimes it do be that way.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: So what we're gonna do is we're gonna do a hard pivot into no, we're not.
- 2:14SPEAKER_03: Um no.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: Um no hard pivot?
- 2:18SPEAKER_03: No, no hard pivot into something else completely random.
- 2:21SPEAKER_03: Uh so we're gonna talk about Sardior.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: And we're also going to talk about some other not tangential, but some other things that are basically relating to the zone of dragons and psionics together.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I was hoping you were gonna say truth.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Uh well but I'm okay with the zone of psionics too.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: I mean, i if I mean if you consider the statement of facts to be truth, then this will be a zone of truth because I will be doing nothing but spitting facts.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: I mean, that is generally what facts are is no print only facts.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: Truth, so sure.
- 3:05SPEAKER_03: Um, so well, okay, to give everyone an idea of what this hodgepodge is gonna be, the name of my notes here is Sardior and Extended Draconian Psionics.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: So that's what this episode is.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: That sounds like the title of somebody's like thesis statement.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: In fantasy college.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's exactly it.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: It's a fantasy college thesis statement, and that's frightening.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: Well, I think the thing is with thesis is that like it wouldn't just be sardure and extended draconian psionics, it would be the application of extended draconian psionics in the uh postmodern uh you know kyber giant society.
- 3:49SPEAKER_03: You know?
- 3:50SPEAKER_03: You're exactly right and I hate it.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: Like I dropped out of college and I know I'm right.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: I would not have dropped out of fantasy college, though.
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: So I probably still would have.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I probably would have to.
- 4:05SPEAKER_03: So, uh, we're gonna get started with what was originally supposed to be the whole, and can I just say it's actually a cry and shame, in my opinion, that there is not more about Sardior and his cohorts because I think they all sound very interesting and I feel like there's a lot of missed potential that I will be pointing out a lot.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: I am, I mean, I we haven't even gotten into it, but I am a little sad that you had to start with there wasn't that much information because I was very excited about same.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: Imagine how I felt researching.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: So, Sardior is the god of the gem dragons or the neutral dragons.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: Uh, and he was introduced alongside the five types that I talked about in the last episode in the article That's not in the monster manual from Dragon Magazine issue 37, written by Arthur W.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: Collins.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, I forgot about that.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: That's not in the monster manual.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: That's such a good title.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: Um it is a good title.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: It has the exclamation mark and everything in there, too.
- 5:14SPEAKER_03: So it's like a like the article is always a quote.
- 5:17SPEAKER_03: It's so funny.
- 5:18SPEAKER_03: So uh he also featured prominently in various articles from the series The Mind's Eye, which was a collection of articles for 3.5 focusing on psionics.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:30SPEAKER_03: Which these are all published on the Wizards of the Coast website from 2003 to 2004.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: Um, some of the Mind's Eye articles may have been outside of that time frame, but that's the time frame that all the ones I'm pulling from are from.
- 5:46SPEAKER_03: Because there were like a ton of them, and only a few of them concerned things we're gonna talk about today.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: One of these days.
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: One of these days I'll do a psionics episode.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, we're kind of like working our way towards doing psionics as we do this whole thing.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: You know, I think I'm just gonna do it one of these times.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: Do it.
- 6:05SPEAKER_03: Do it, do it.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Anthony did say that they were not as uh scary as we originally thought.
- 6:11SPEAKER_03: Still don't know if I believe it, but I mean, I'm easily startled, scared, so maybe.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: So um most of the information uh about him directly uh from in 3.5 is from the article The Legend of Sardi R from the Mind's Eye, which is written by Scott Brocius Brocius, Brosifus and Mark A.
- 6:32SPEAKER_03: Gindra, which Mark A.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: Gindra.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: They um wrote I think all the ones I'm gonna be pulling from.
- 6:41SPEAKER_03: So I they probably wrote most of them.
- 6:43SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 6:44SPEAKER_03: So this information about Sardior is gonna be pulling from kind of both of those, and I'll discuss differences where they exist.
- 6:51SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 6:51SPEAKER_03: So Sardior in Advanced Dungeons and Dragons is a giant ruddy-colored red dragon who makes his home in a floating castle called the Ruby Palace.
- 7:02SPEAKER_03: And it's worth noting that red is just describing his coloration.
- 7:05SPEAKER_03: He's not a red dragon, he's the dragon who is red.
- 7:08SPEAKER_03: Right, okay.
- 7:09SPEAKER_03: Dragon first language, guys.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: I'm kidding.
- 7:11SPEAKER_03: I don't want to get into it.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: Um we're not gonna get into that.
- 7:16SPEAKER_03: We're not gonna get into that.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no.
- 7:18SPEAKER_03: Um, so, and also the the fact that his palace is named the Ruby Palace comes from his Blood Wars card, which is fun.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: He was a Blood Wars playing card.
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: Um and he moves the Ruby Palace so and it is high, it's high up in the atmosphere.
- 7:37SPEAKER_03: Right so he moves it so that it always stays in the Earth's shadow.
- 7:41SPEAKER_03: And when sighted, it's said to resemble an unusual red star.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: That sounds exhausting though, moving your palace constantly.
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it really does.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: I mean like I know he's a god, but that still just sounds so exhausting.
- 7:57SPEAKER_03: He's he's very he's extra.
- 7:59SPEAKER_03: Sounds like it, yeah.
- 8:01SPEAKER_03: And this isn't necessarily in the text, and he is a dragon, but he's kind of extra.
- 8:09SPEAKER_03: So um I mean, yeah.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: Fair fair.
- 8:14SPEAKER_03: Uh he's described as a stay-at-home type of god.
- 8:17SPEAKER_03: So while all the gem dragons revere him and honor him, he typically doesn't have much involvement in their day-to-day lives.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 8:26SPEAKER_03: Because you know he's a stay-at-home dad.
- 8:27SPEAKER_03: He's a stay-at-home, he's a stay-at-home god.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: That's beautiful.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: He's a stay-at-home dad.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: That all he does is just push his palace around.
- 8:36SPEAKER_03: This guy.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: And throw parties.
- 8:41SPEAKER_03: Um, though he's described as ruddy in appearance, he's also described as having handsome features and being a fantastic, witty conversationalist.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: Oh boy.
- 8:50SPEAKER_03: So he's very charming.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: Does does he tell dad jokes?
- 8:54SPEAKER_03: I hope he does.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: I hope so too.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: I That's my head canon, if not.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: He tells dad jokes, it doesn't matter.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: Sardador.
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: Not another one.
- 9:05SPEAKER_03: Sard Sardadior.
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: Sardadior, because it's got the eye.
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: I've some of the art of him, actually, the art of him's not very daddy.
- 9:15SPEAKER_03: So um in advanced Dungeons and Dragons, uh, he could use the shrieking breath weapon of Amethyst Dragons, which was a banshee shriek essentially, and the dazzling cone of light of the crystal dragons.
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: So he had two different breath weapons because fuck you.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: He's a god, he can do what he wants to do.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he can do whatever the fuck he wants.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Shriek and make beautiful crystal colors that blind you and hurt you.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: Let's just ignore that part.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: It's fine.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: They're pretty while you can see.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 9:45SPEAKER_03: So in 3.5, more information is given about him as well as his worship.
- 9:50SPEAKER_03: He was conspicuously absent from the monstrous manual.
- 9:54SPEAKER_03: And also everything after 3.5.
- 9:56SPEAKER_03: Rest in peace, Sardior.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: Poor, poor Sardior.
- 10:00SPEAKER_03: Poor, poor Sardior and poor, poor gem dragons.
- 10:03SPEAKER_03: Um, he is this in 3.5.
- 10:05SPEAKER_03: He is described as having ascended to his position as a lesser deity.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: No context is given for for that for that so that bombshell.
- 10:16SPEAKER_03: So and there's nothing, there's nothing ever given about his origins.
- 10:22SPEAKER_03: Of course not.
- 10:23SPEAKER_03: Why would you need that?
- 10:25SPEAKER_03: Why would?
- 10:25SPEAKER_03: So it's not clear if he is an aspect.
- 10:31SPEAKER_03: Well, and uh again, with the the origins of Tiamat and Bahamut is also unclear, but in an in a Dungeons and Dragons unclear kind of way.
- 10:41SPEAKER_03: Like, here's what some people say, here's what other people say.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: Okay, it's shrouded in mystery.
- 10:46SPEAKER_03: Like, obviously, because we talked about that in the Tiamat episode.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: That some schools of thought are that they came from Ayo's body when he was killed by the primordials.
- 10:56SPEAKER_03: Some, you know, people say that they are actually like his actual children.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: There's nothing like that for Sardior.
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: So it's unclear if he maybe is that there's nothing.
- 11:08SPEAKER_03: Nothing.
- 11:09SPEAKER_03: There's nothing.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: There's literally nothing about his origins.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: They just left it like just blank.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: It's just a blank page.
- 11:16SPEAKER_03: He's he's a lesser god and he likes to party.
- 11:20SPEAKER_03: Good to know.
- 11:22SPEAKER_03: So anyway, he's here.
- 11:25SPEAKER_03: He's here.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: He has a palace, he has a castle in the sky and he likes to party.
- 11:31SPEAKER_03: That's that's that.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: Castle in the sky with dragons.
- 11:35SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 11:36SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 11:37SPEAKER_03: Dream, dream life.
- 11:38SPEAKER_03: Um, so his appearance is no longer described as ruddy, instead as sinewy with deep red scales and a playful glimmer in his eyes.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: Okay, can I just say um stop describing your stuff as sinewy was a lot better imagery than sinewy, yeah.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: Well, he's got he's like a he's he's a long boy.
- 11:59SPEAKER_03: He's like a he's got like a serp a more serpentine.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: But why did you have to go with sine sinewy?
- 12:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: Stop it.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: You're bad and you know it.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: Or like in the last one, undulate.
- 12:12SPEAKER_03: Ungulate was the worst.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: I'm well.
- 12:16SPEAKER_03: Listen, this was uh Scott Brossius in Mark A.
- 12:21SPEAKER_03: Ginger's words, not mine.
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: So talk to them about it.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: You know what you've done.
- 12:26SPEAKER_03: You know what you did.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Uh he has a portfolio of neutral dragons, knight, scions, and psychic warriors.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 12:35SPEAKER_03: And domains in Knowledge, Trickery, and Scaly Kind, which that last one is only in the Forgotten Realms.
- 12:42SPEAKER_03: Because I guess that's only a domain in the Forgotten Realms.
- 12:45SPEAKER_03: Also, worth noting?
- 12:46SPEAKER_03: Scaly Kind.
- 12:47SPEAKER_03: So like dragons, lizard full.
- 12:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I just the Never heard them described that way.
- 12:53SPEAKER_03: The fact that that is a domain just kind of caught me off guard.
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: I know the the modern verbiage is usually scalies, but most of them prefer scaly kind.
- 13:00SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 13:01SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, I'm I'm so stupid.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: I'm done with you.
- 13:04SPEAKER_03: Also, it's worth noting that apparently I didn't like I'm sorry, I didn't look this up, but apparently Ed Greenwood tweeted and said that Sardior is worshipped in the Forgotten Realms, but gave no context about that.
- 13:21SPEAKER_03: So Sardior is also worshipped in the Forgotten Realms, I guess.
- 13:25SPEAKER_05: Hmm.
- 13:25SPEAKER_05: Hmm.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: Because it's it's worth noting that this is where Sardior is, is exclusively in this collection of articles.
- 13:34SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: Like he's not in any doesn't appear in any of the like books or monster manuals or Deity Pantheon.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: I don't believe I don't believe so.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: That's so very strange.
- 13:47SPEAKER_03: But the the source that I saw given was Ed Greenwood's Twitter.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: So that's funny.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: Any anytime like the sources uh someone's Twitter?
- 13:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like like public figures, which it also says something about me that I think of Ed Greenwood as a public figure.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: Like the fact that public figures have Twitters, like it just it makes me laugh, but also makes me want to die.
- 14:09SPEAKER_03: Like the Pope has a Twitter, and that makes me want to die.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: The wait, the Pope actually has a Twitter at Pontifex.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: Does he use it regularly?
- 14:18SPEAKER_03: I I don't know.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: So anyway.
- 14:25SPEAKER_03: So anyway, um he maintains his hands-off approach as a deity, and while he obviously, because of that, does not require much from his followers, they consider him to be an example to strive toward.
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: So he's not a commanding type of god, he's a lead by example type of god, which I gotta say is pretty good.
- 14:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 14:48SPEAKER_03: Like, that's the way I think you should do it.
- 14:51SPEAKER_03: I I mean, I agree.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: I'm with it.
- 14:54SPEAKER_03: I I'm totally okay with that.
- 14:56SPEAKER_03: Um, his followers comprise all types of people and dragons of neutral alignment, though his temples are few and far between.
- 15:03SPEAKER_03: Uh, they tend to be in high places with clear views of the night sky.
- 15:07SPEAKER_03: I don't know why exactly it's so special to him, but he likes the night.
- 15:12SPEAKER_03: Uh well.
- 15:13SPEAKER_03: Because it's one of his portfolio.
- 15:14SPEAKER_03: Like in the world.
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: That's when you see his uh palace.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: True.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: So maybe they just chose temples to see the night sky.
- 15:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: Maybe.
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: So his his dogma is one that is very strongly in support of learning.
- 15:30SPEAKER_03: Um, I didn't write this quote down, uh, but the I believe the quote provided was quote, the more you know, the better you are the better off you are, end quote.
- 15:41SPEAKER_03: Which I enjoy.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: Uh however, the this I don't you'll see what I mean in a second.
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: Um however, he isn't into learning just for the sake of learning and knowledge.
- 15:56SPEAKER_03: Quote, the trick for Sardior is to get someone else to read the book than tell him about it.
- 16:02SPEAKER_03: End quote.
- 16:04SPEAKER_03: Which I don't really vibe well with his whole knowledge thing.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Which I like, I I I get for that as like a personality trait of his, but that I mean, but yeah, that doesn't really mix well with the knowledge aspect, like Tony said.
- 16:21SPEAKER_03: So I see that as like for his his personality, but I don't know exactly how that gels with the rest of his dogma.
- 16:27SPEAKER_03: Um whatever.
- 16:29SPEAKER_03: So the clergy of his temples who uh embellish themselves in jewels and jewelry, of course, naturally.
- 16:37SPEAKER_03: Um, are considered sages on various subjects and are often set out for their knowledge, which they give for a price, which is how they fund the temple, keep it going.
- 16:48SPEAKER_03: Right, right.
- 16:49SPEAKER_03: Um, the higher ranking members of his temples are also popular at parties because they're great conversationalists.
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, of course.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: There's nothing else going on.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: They're I mean, listen, Sardior loves to converse.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: I I you know.
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: Um also just side note real quick, I looked up the Twitter of uh confirmation the Pope or Ed Greenwood?
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: Ed Greenwood, the confirmation that Sardior is in the realms.
- 17:21SPEAKER_04: Uh-huh.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: It is literally a thread of three tweets.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: Uh one was someone by the name of John Gomez tweeted him and said, Just for completioness sake, do you know if Sardior is worshipped as a god in the realms?
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: Ed Greenwood responded, Yes, I do, and yes he is, with a winky face.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: And John Gomez replied, Thanks.
- 17:44SPEAKER_03: Well, okay, the winky face is all the context that we needed.
- 17:47SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: That that that's all that that's all we got.
- 17:52SPEAKER_03: Thank you, Ed Greenwood.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: Ed Greenwood, I don't know if you listen to us, but if you do, can you like talk about Sardior some more?
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, can you like give us more information about Sardior?
- 18:02SPEAKER_03: Please, just like write a little something up.
- 18:05SPEAKER_03: Just a little something, something.
- 18:06SPEAKER_03: My birthday was a few weeks ago.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: God.
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, Ed Greenwood.
- 18:13SPEAKER_03: Uh also, uh, on his the higher ranking members of his clergy.
- 18:18SPEAKER_03: Um, they also appear to have no interest in politics, meaning some people are more comfortable sharing secrets with them.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: Ooh.
- 18:28SPEAKER_03: I I like that that that sentence, it actually kind of left it up to interpretation.
- 18:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, me too.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: Because it's like, do they do something nefarious with it?
- 18:38SPEAKER_03: We don't know, but they could.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: They have the ability to.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: But if they actually do, well, we just don't know.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: Um, his clergy tend to be welcome everywhere.
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: Um, but a small subset of them called the Ruby disciples trained to be the martial arm of the clergy.
- 18:59SPEAKER_03: So they're kind of the like they don't they don't tend to come in conflict with other people very much, but it's like they do have that kind of martial aspect to the church there.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: The church there.
- 19:14SPEAKER_03: Um, so in 3.5, uh his he gets another breath weapon.
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: Oh he has three.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: Okay, he needs to stop.
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: Um, but they're they're different.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: Um basically they are a line of force, a line of light, and a cone of fire, I believe.
- 19:31SPEAKER_03: So it's just your basic you know, force, radiant, fire damage.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: So I mean, three breath weapons is still a lot.
- 19:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's ex that's bordering on excessive.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: I mean, really, I feel like two is bordering on excessive.
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, three is just excessive.
- 19:48SPEAKER_03: Tiamat's just over there with her five, like.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but at least Tiamat has, you know, the heads.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: Five heads?
- 19:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:55SPEAKER_03: Oh, we'll we'll talk about dragons with more than one head later.
- 19:58SPEAKER_03: Oh boy.
- 19:59SPEAKER_03: Um so here's where he he really gets broken.
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 20:04SPEAKER_03: Um he knows all psionic powers, which makes sense, and can create new ones as he desires.
- 20:10SPEAKER_03: Bitch! And has the ability to transform any gem dragon into one of his thanes.
- 20:17SPEAKER_03: Those are his his cohorts, his buddies, as I've been referring to them.
- 20:22SPEAKER_03: Um these thanes, apparently, represent different parts of his personality.
- 20:28SPEAKER_03: Nothing about their personalities is ever given.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: Naturally.
- 20:32SPEAKER_03: And he has a constant mental link with them unless he chooses to block it.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: So Okay, there is a lot of uh There's a lot going on there, eh?
- 20:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: And a lot of open-ended questions, but okay.
- 20:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so now we're gonna talk about his Thanes.
- 20:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: So just go into the Thanes because that's all we got on him.
- 20:54SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 20:55SPEAKER_03: Well, kind of.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: That's the core information about that so the Thanes, each is a type of dragon that we talked about last time.
- 21:06SPEAKER_03: So all of the Thanes are advanced dragons, which is the highest age category.
- 21:12SPEAKER_03: Um, they have advanced psionic powers, naturally.
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: Uh these are traits common to all of them.
- 21:18SPEAKER_03: Uh, advanced psionic powers, blind sight of, I believe, up to 420 feet, which is nice.
- 21:24SPEAKER_03: Um frightful presences, and the ability to pass freely between the prime and the inner planes.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, okay.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: I'm on the last two, okay.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: I can kind of see.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're thanes of this dragot.
- 21:41SPEAKER_03: Of this god, yeah.
- 21:42SPEAKER_03: They're like Bahamas Iarks, you know.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: Still just like a little out there, but alright.
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: We'll let that slip through the planes.
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: You'll you'll nice.
- 21:52SPEAKER_03: Nice, okay.
- 21:53SPEAKER_03: You'll you'll accept it.
- 21:54SPEAKER_03: And these guys are all, I believe, CR twenty-seven, twenty-eight, or twenty-nine.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: So they're big boys.
- 22:01SPEAKER_03: They're they're girls.
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: The big boys.
- 22:03SPEAKER_03: The big boys and girls.
- 22:05SPEAKER_03: So uh the first I'm gonna talk about is Hrodal.
- 22:09SPEAKER_03: Uh Hrodel is a female crystal dragon with a primary psionic discipline of telepathy, which is the same as other crystal dragons.
- 22:18SPEAKER_03: Theirs is the same.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: That's all about her.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, that was quick.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, cool.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: Good job, everyone.
- 22:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we did it.
- 22:26SPEAKER_03: Job then.
- 22:27SPEAKER_03: So next we have Smargad, uh, who is a male emerald dragon with a prior prior uh primary psionic discipline of clairsentience.
- 22:38SPEAKER_03: Um, I was trying to find something about their names to see if maybe that gave something about their personality.
- 22:46SPEAKER_03: Uh, his name is very close to the word Smar smargd S M-A-R-A-G-D, and I triple triple checked that I was not misreading his name.
- 22:59SPEAKER_03: Um, his name is very close to that, and that is an archaic word for emerald or green gemstone.
- 23:06SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 23:06SPEAKER_03: So it's basically like they looked at that word smarged, I think it's pronounced, and just like did a little anagram.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: Just kind of rearranged a few things and called it good.
- 23:15SPEAKER_03: Um, so next we have Charisma, which is that was where I got the idea that maybe their name, like the key to something about their personality, was in their names.
- 23:25SPEAKER_03: Uh charisma is a female sapphire dragon with a primary psionic discipline of psychoportation and the ability to climb up walls per the spider climb spell.
- 23:34SPEAKER_03: Remember, sapphire dragons live in like caves and shit.
- 23:37SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 23:37SPEAKER_03: And they like to eat spiders.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: But I mean, also they're dragons.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: So, like, was that particular addition really necessary?
- 23:46SPEAKER_03: I mean, they have they they're clumsy flyers because they're so big.
- 23:50SPEAKER_03: So it might be better to just climb up a wall.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 23:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's fair.
- 23:56SPEAKER_03: Fuck it, drag it on the ceiling.
- 23:58SPEAKER_03: Uh that's just a or like a fucking hereditary moment.
- 24:02SPEAKER_03: Anyway.
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: Oh god, don't.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: Oh god.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: Nope.
- 24:06SPEAKER_03: Nope.
- 24:06SPEAKER_03: Nope, nope, nope.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: Um, so then we have Tith Tithonas, I think would be how his name is pronounced.
- 24:14SPEAKER_03: Um, and he is a male topaz dragon with a primary psionic discipline of psychometabolism and the ability to breathe underwater.
- 24:22SPEAKER_03: Because they're the ones that live by the sea.
- 24:24SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 24:25SPEAKER_03: Um, so finally, uh, the final of the current Thanes is Take your time.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: I I I believe in you.
- 24:37SPEAKER_03: Alethelith.
- 24:41SPEAKER_03: Alethelithos.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
- 24:46SPEAKER_03: Oh yes.
- 24:47SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 24:48SPEAKER_03: Um he is a male amethyst dragon.
- 24:51SPEAKER_03: Uh his main psychotic discipline is that of psychokinesis.
- 24:55SPEAKER_03: In addition to that, he can use the abilities amethyst telekinesis, which these are available to amethyst dragons of that very advanced age category, like I was talking about.
- 25:08SPEAKER_03: Um, but I realized I didn't talk about them last time.
- 25:11SPEAKER_03: Um, he can use the ability amethyst telekinesis.
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: Uh, once per day, he can lift a creature up to 10 tons and hurl it to inflict up to 25 d6 for the largest age category.
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: So that's um a lot of 10 tons is a lot.
- 25:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you don't say yeah.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: Now I'm just gonna have to like convert this because I just need to know.
- 25:36SPEAKER_03: Uh 20,000 pounds, I believe.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: I don't know how to spell.
- 25:40SPEAKER_03: Uh about, yeah.
- 25:42SPEAKER_03: And that would be what, like 12.
- 25:45SPEAKER_03: 12,000 kilograms.
- 25:47SPEAKER_03: I don't know how to do kilograms.
- 25:49SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry to our people who don't use the Imperial system, we're dumb Americans.
- 25:54SPEAKER_03: Um and uh Explosive Gem, which is the exploding shrapnel, purple lozenge, not cough drop that was the breath weapon for Amethyst Dragons from Advanced Dungeons of the Dragons 2nd edition.
- 26:10SPEAKER_03: Um, so and and and when I mentioned earlier that uh Sardior has the ability to transform any gem dragon into one of his thanes, it it literally they they take on the personality and characteristic of this person.
- 26:29SPEAKER_03: So it's not to say that you know Protal is his current Crystal Dragon Thane.
- 26:35SPEAKER_03: Like the that that Protal has always been the Crystal Dragon Thane and will always be because Sardir literally basically transforms them in body and soul to another person, which is crazy.
- 26:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he can do that because psionics and also fuck you.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: Like, I was just thinking, like, okay, if he chooses a different thing, it becomes a different person.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: No, that he physically transforms them into the disperson.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: What the hell?
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, also, uh 9,071.8 kilograms.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: Oh, thank you.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: Damn.
- 27:15SPEAKER_03: Okay, yeah.
- 27:16SPEAKER_03: No, this because it's like 2.2, I think, yeah pounds on a kilogram.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I'm bad at math.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: I just use Google.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: I mean, fair.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: So, um, I I immediately was the attention was drawn to the fact that I was struggling to say this person's name, this dragon's name.
- 27:35SPEAKER_03: Um, but I said final of the current fanes.
- 27:39SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I caught the current part.
- 27:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so there used to be a sixth.
- 27:47SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: Did he eat them?
- 27:50unknown: Oh.
- 27:50SPEAKER_03: I'll tell you.
- 27:52SPEAKER_03: Oh damn.
- 27:52SPEAKER_03: After we take a break.
- 27:54SPEAKER_03: Damn it.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: God, you suck sometimes.
- 27:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.

- 33:14SPEAKER_02: With that, back to the podcast.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: More sardi orders.
- 33:24SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: You can't just do that to us.
- 33:27SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 33:27SPEAKER_03: Um, well, hold on.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 33:29SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 33:30SPEAKER_03: So uh there is somebody that I have to introduce into this picture.
- 33:37SPEAKER_03: His name is Blythin Paxon to Dra Dravos.
- 33:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 33:45SPEAKER_03: Um we're just gonna do that.
- 33:47SPEAKER_03: Lythen Paxenta Dravos.
- 33:49SPEAKER_03: I did it! Good job.
- 33:51SPEAKER_03: I'm proud of you.
- 33:51SPEAKER_03: I didn't practice that.
- 33:52SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna even attempt it, but um, now referred to only as Blythen.
- 33:57SPEAKER_03: They knew.
- 33:58SPEAKER_03: They knew Blythen.
- 34:00SPEAKER_03: They knew that that was that was something, and they were.
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: They looked at that and they're like, okay, even we have trouble pronouncing that.
- 34:06SPEAKER_03: They were like, we need to give them something they can actually say.
- 34:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:10SPEAKER_03: So Blythyn was a three-headed gem dragon.
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: Um, and this abnormality is what drew Sardior to him initially.
- 34:18SPEAKER_03: Um, and he brought Blythen to his court where he began to act as a keeper of knowledge for Sardior.
- 34:25SPEAKER_03: So he was a very powerful dragon in his own right.
- 34:28SPEAKER_03: Um, eventually Sardior confided in Blython that he wanted to create a thane to represent each type of gem dragon and also all the things that would mean about, you know, the mind link and all that stuff.
- 34:40SPEAKER_03: Um and Blython, I guess, it it wasn't it didn't explicitly state the reason why he wanted Sardior to more or less only rely on him.
- 34:51SPEAKER_03: Maybe he was jealous.
- 34:53SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 34:54SPEAKER_03: Maybe he was power hungry.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: I it did not say, but more or less he didn't think this was a good idea, and he basically wanted Sardior to turn back to him.
- 35:04SPEAKER_03: And to achieve this, Blython corrupted one of the Thanes through unknown means in basically the hopes that this dragon would fail and cause Sardior to scrap that idea and then immediately like, you know, go back to relying on Blythen.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: But I'm I mean, obviously that didn't quite work the way he had planned.
- 35:27SPEAKER_03: No, it uh it backfired.
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: Um because while Sardior destroyed this thane, um, he discovered Blythen's deception and banished him.
- 35:40SPEAKER_03: So Blythen kind of got depressed and he languished around the astral plane for a while.
- 35:46SPEAKER_03: Like you do.
- 35:46SPEAKER_03: As you do when you get depressed.
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: Um, and then eventually was reawakened by a surge of energy from Sardior poking around the demiplane of ectoplasm.
- 36:00SPEAKER_03: What the what now?
- 36:02SPEAKER_03: The demiplane of ectoplasm.
- 36:04SPEAKER_03: What?
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: What okay.
- 36:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'll tell you.
- 36:09SPEAKER_03: I'll tell you about that in a minute.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: Um so now he has teamed up with this other powerful scion to try to figure out what's going on.
- 36:18SPEAKER_03: And I guess he's plotting something now.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: Because I mean, does that does that surprise you?
- 36:25SPEAKER_03: No, no.
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: That's how dragons do be.
- 36:28SPEAKER_03: That do be that way.
- 36:29SPEAKER_03: Um, so in his time as a keeper of knowledge at Sardior's side, he developed a special psionic power called Blyden's Calling, which Sardior would later repurpose to Sardior's Calling.
- 36:40SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 36:40SPEAKER_03: Um, this allowed the user to teleport a gem dragon to their side in exchange for compensation.
- 36:47SPEAKER_03: So you literally like summon them and then pay them.
- 36:50SPEAKER_03: Um if the user knew the name of a specific dragon, they could call it, and that dragon would be summoned, but otherwise it literally pulled a random gem dragon.
- 37:02SPEAKER_03: And the type is dependent on like a roll against a table.
- 37:06SPEAKER_03: So the dragon could be one of the three types of Bliven's heads: crystal, emerald, or obsidian.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: Obsidian?
- 37:17SPEAKER_03: Obsidian.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: Okay, I like that.
- 37:22SPEAKER_03: Also, like that's hilarious.
- 37:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 37:25SPEAKER_03: You just like use the psionic power, and this gem dragon was like eating their dinner, and they just get teleported to the dude, what the fuck?
- 37:35SPEAKER_03: The side of this random adventurer is in trouble, and they're like, I'll pay you after.
- 37:42SPEAKER_03: Then they just waste their enemies, and they're like, okay, listen, I was really in the middle of something important.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: So like This is gonna cost you a lot of money.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: Pay me and send me back.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: Wait.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: It made no mention of being able to send the dragon back.
- 37:57SPEAKER_03: Oh no.
- 37:59SPEAKER_03: I believe they are I believe they might be teleported.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: Oh man, I hope so.
- 38:06SPEAKER_03: I hope so.
- 38:06SPEAKER_04: If not, then that's what I'm gonna do.
- 38:09SPEAKER_04: I think that's how it works.
- 38:10SPEAKER_04: I hope so.
- 38:11SPEAKER_04: I think that's how it works.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: Oh my.
- 38:13SPEAKER_03: Oh, that would be even worse.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: I'd be so mad.
- 38:16SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 38:17SPEAKER_03: Was called upon by adventure friends 45 minutes earlier than expected.
- 38:22SPEAKER_03: Was a bit inconvenient as I was balls deep in the wife at the time.
- 38:26SPEAKER_02: I knew exactly what meme you're referencing.
- 38:28SPEAKER_03: You knew exactly where I was going to.
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 38:31SPEAKER_03: Oh man.
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: So uh ectoplasm.
- 38:34SPEAKER_03: Ectoplasm.
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: Following that.
- 38:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we're gonna talk about gooey stuff now.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: Um, so the I just want you guys to know that the name of this subsection is ectoplasm and stuff.
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: Beautiful.
- 38:48SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: Ectoplasm and stuff.
- 38:51SPEAKER_03: So the demiplane of ectoplasm is a dome-shaped pocket dimension within the astral plane.
- 38:57SPEAKER_03: So there's dead people and goo.
- 39:00SPEAKER_03: Um it's separated into three sections.
- 39:04SPEAKER_03: So the most central section is a jagged mountainous region with an active volcano in the center that's constantly ravaged by earthquakes, uh, severe storms, yada yada.
- 39:14SPEAKER_03: It's also worth noting that everything in the demiplane of ectoplasm is made of either ectoplasm or minerals.
- 39:23SPEAKER_03: There's no like it's not like trees and yeah, there's no real living matter there.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: So, like, you can't eat anything on the plane of ectoplasm because it's not made out of.
- 39:36SPEAKER_01: So, what is even the point to the plane of ectoplasm?
- 39:39SPEAKER_03: You'll see.
- 39:41SPEAKER_03: Um, so the second ring is a relatively stable forested area with fake trees.
- 39:48SPEAKER_03: Um, and the outermost part is an ectoplasmic swamp with similar extreme storms to the central part.
- 39:56SPEAKER_03: Just imagine that.
- 39:58SPEAKER_03: An ectoplasmic swamp.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: That sounds awful, but kind of cool though.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: At the same time, I kind of want to touch it.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: Me too.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: I want to know what ectoplasm feels like.
- 40:11SPEAKER_03: It probably feels like Instagram slime.
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: What is Instagram slime?
- 40:16SPEAKER_03: It's just pretty slime.
- 40:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean that that's all that's what it's like.
- 40:21SPEAKER_03: It's just that there's a a a meme genre of like oddly satisfying videos on Instagram, and a lot of them are slime.
- 40:27SPEAKER_03: Yes, it's fun to watch people touch it and to watch it like jiggle around and it's sparkly.
- 40:32SPEAKER_03: I've made some slime in my time.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: I have too.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: I just didn't know that that was a thing on Instagram.
- 40:38SPEAKER_01: Okay, well.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: You learn something new every day.
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 40:41SPEAKER_01: Look at that.
- 40:41SPEAKER_01: We learned about dragons and Instagram.
- 40:44SPEAKER_03: And slime.
- 40:45SPEAKER_03: And slime.
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: Um, so the entire landscape, as I mentioned, is made up of ectoplasm and metals.
- 40:52SPEAKER_03: And the only source of light is from the ectoplasm that happens to be bioluminescent.
- 40:58SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: Um also sounds really fucking cool.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 41:02SPEAKER_03: So it's like the but the sky is like an eternal night sky.
- 41:06SPEAKER_03: Um, so the reason this is important to what we're talking about is because ectoplasm and there's a lot of cool stuff on the plane of ectoplasm.
- 41:15SPEAKER_03: Um, but this is important because ectoplasm is what is used in the new to third edition metacreativity discipline of psionics.
- 41:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:27SPEAKER_03: So, which is what I mentioned, is what replaced metascionics.
- 41:31SPEAKER_03: Oh, right, right, right.
- 41:33SPEAKER_03: So when a shaper, which is a scion who specializes in metacreativity, uses a psionic power, it pulls ectoplasm from the demiplane of ectoplasm to shape into anything from a simple piece of cloth to a whole new demiplane.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: Jesus.
- 41:52SPEAKER_03: Well so it's essentially the goopy stuff that you make new things from.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: Including a whole new demiplane.
- 42:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:03SPEAKER_02: So it's literally the primordial gunk.
- 42:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, literally.
- 42:07SPEAKER_01: I okay.
- 42:08SPEAKER_03: Um I still want to touch it, but Oh, yeah, no, I mean you can probably touch it.
- 42:13SPEAKER_03: Probably.
- 42:14SPEAKER_03: Some of it, maybe not.
- 42:15SPEAKER_03: Some of it maybe you don't want to touch, but a lot of it I think you could touch.
- 42:20SPEAKER_03: Um, so this we we keep moving like through things.
- 42:28SPEAKER_03: It's like, this is this, and this is important to this.
- 42:30SPEAKER_03: So metacreativity is the primary discipline of ectoplasmic dragons.
- 42:36SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah.
- 42:39SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 42:39SPEAKER_02: Again, like audio medium here, but we're both making a face.
- 42:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:46SPEAKER_01: Our faces were confused, and honestly, I don't even know what the other emotion I just tried to convey with my face was, but I don't either.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: But okay.
- 42:56SPEAKER_01: Um ectoplasmic dragons?
- 42:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:59SPEAKER_03: So um the the thing that I mentioned earlier when I was talking about Blibbin, the aforementioned uh energy burst was uh from Sardior meddling around in the demiplane of ectoplasm.
- 43:15SPEAKER_03: Um it never said specifically what he was trying to accomplish, but however much of it was an accident, uh what happened was the ectoplasmic dragons.
- 43:28SPEAKER_03: They are pretty rare to see in the world because they are just starting to hatch and leave the what is said this uh hatchery in the demi plane in any number.
- 43:43SPEAKER_03: So it didn't say this explicitly, but my guess based on context is that Sardior wanted to fuck around and make some new dragons out of goo, and then he did.
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: I was saying it sounds just about that about that, yeah.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Like, hmm, ectoplasmum.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: Eh, we'll see if we can make dragons.
- 44:03SPEAKER_03: And it worked.
- 44:04SPEAKER_03: And then he did.
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: And he made ectoplasmic dragons.
- 44:07SPEAKER_03: Um Yeah, so uh ectoplasmic dragons have no scales.
- 44:11SPEAKER_03: Cool.
- 44:12SPEAKER_03: They are born milky white with sheens of pale blue and silver that overtake them as they age, uh, which leaves the adult ectoplasmic dragons looking like mirrors with translucent wings.
- 44:25SPEAKER_03: This is badass.
- 44:27SPEAKER_03: There is no art of them that I could find.
- 44:30SPEAKER_03: No, which is fucking criminal, can I just say?
- 44:34SPEAKER_03: And there's also no art of the Thanes.
- 44:36SPEAKER_03: That is criminal.
- 44:37SPEAKER_03: And there's so little about them.
- 44:40SPEAKER_01: And that's probably why that there's no art for them, which I'm not giving is like, you know, the greatest excuse.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: It's just like, come on, guys.
- 44:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's fucking criminal.
- 44:49SPEAKER_03: This is such a cool idea.
- 44:53SPEAKER_03: It'll be okay.
- 44:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:55SPEAKER_03: So uh once ectoplasmic dragons leave their nest, they tend to settle elsewhere in the astral plane or in the prime.
- 45:04SPEAKER_03: Um, they have a breath weapon of white fire, uh, which is a blob of raw ectoplasm that explodes on contact.
- 45:12SPEAKER_03: I not about that.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: They also can activate a white fire aura, which is giving me flashbacks to fourth edition, or flash forwards, I guess.
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: Um basically they coat themselves in an ectoplasm that damages attackers that make contact.
- 45:31SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 45:31SPEAKER_03: So it's very much, you know, it was what it says on the tin, it's an aura.
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: Ectoplasmic dragons are described as erratic, which is in line with their always chaotic neutral alignment.
- 45:43SPEAKER_03: So even though they're not, they're not gem dragons, they do fall in line with that pattern of being neutral in my association with Sardior.
- 45:54SPEAKER_03: Um an encounter can go a number of ways depending on the dragon's mood, from a lively conversation to the party being attacked simply, quote, because someone was wearing pink, end quote.
- 46:07SPEAKER_01: So ectoplasmic dragons are temperamental little bitches?
- 46:11SPEAKER_03: They're um they're certainly something.
- 46:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 46:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: Um they wouldn't like mean girls.
- 46:20SPEAKER_02: Only on Wednesdays, though.
- 46:26SPEAKER_02: On Wednesdays we wear pink.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: I've seen Mean Girls, but it has been so long.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: I thought you haven't seen Mean Girls.
- 46:35SPEAKER_01: No, I've seen it.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: I just it's been a long time.
- 46:40SPEAKER_01: Ten fucking years or some shit.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: It's been a long time.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: So I remember nothing about it other than the clips I've seen on the memes.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the memes.
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: Um, so uh ectoplasmic dragons are fun.
- 46:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I I mean definitely that.
- 46:56SPEAKER_03: And also definitely one that I feel in kind of is in line with the original.
- 47:03SPEAKER_03: That's not the monster manual spirit.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 47:06SPEAKER_03: Because they don't even look like a lot of other dragons.
- 47:09SPEAKER_03: So it, if you saw one of those in the prime material plane, you would be like, what the fuck?
- 47:13SPEAKER_03: And then it would open its mouth.
- 47:15SPEAKER_03: What is that?
- 47:15SPEAKER_03: And then it would open its mouth and spit ectoplasma at you and be like, that's not in the monster manual.
- 47:21SPEAKER_01: Just like freeze frame, like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: That's not in the monster manual.
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: I bet you're wondering how I ended up in this situation.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: Legitimately, yes.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: I would very much be wondering how the fuck someone ended up in that situation.
- 47:34SPEAKER_03: So, um, metacreativity is also the main discipline of the obsidian dragons.
- 47:42SPEAKER_03: So, the final of Sardior's Thanes was Cerades, a female obsidian dragon.
- 47:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 47:50SPEAKER_03: Obsidian dragons, including uh Cyradus, have a fire affinity.
- 47:56SPEAKER_03: So they are either completely immune or resistant to fire damage and weak to cold damage.
- 48:02SPEAKER_03: Um, her breath weapon was a cone of fire, which I gotta say, good on her.
- 48:07SPEAKER_03: Very simple, yeah, very classic.
- 48:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not weird.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: Fallen in line.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: It's not like she's shooting out like shards of obsidian glass or something.
- 48:18SPEAKER_03: Nothing and not broken.
- 48:20SPEAKER_03: Just Oh yeah, no, most importantly, not broken.
- 48:22SPEAKER_03: Not broken.
- 48:25SPEAKER_03: Not not disintegrates people.
- 48:28SPEAKER_03: Um and her high-level metacreative ability has allowed her to create whole demiplanes, as I mentioned earlier, or store her consciousness in a gemstone.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: Hell yeah.
- 48:42SPEAKER_02: That's just a phylactery.
- 48:45SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 48:46SPEAKER_02: Like Yeah, that's kind of just a phylactery.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: Well, okay.
- 48:49SPEAKER_01: I mean I mean, not not exactly.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: Because phylacteries just hold like a life essence.
- 48:56SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, true.
- 48:57SPEAKER_01: Not a not a good one.
- 48:58SPEAKER_01: This is her literal consciousness inside this gemstone.
- 49:03SPEAKER_03: This is like a oh what's it?
- 49:04SPEAKER_03: Uh what's it called?
- 49:05SPEAKER_03: Um I don't know.
- 49:08SPEAKER_03: Um, um, magic jar.
- 49:10SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:11SPEAKER_03: This is like a high-level, a very high uh advanced magic jar situation.
- 49:17SPEAKER_01: So she just possesses the ability to do that?
- 49:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I I guess still pretty cool.
- 49:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 49:24SPEAKER_03: Uh also, by the way, the ability to create a demi plane is called Genesis.
- 49:29SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 49:30SPEAKER_03: Which is hell yeah.
- 49:31SPEAKER_03: A name for it.
- 49:33SPEAKER_03: Um, so she was destroyed by Sardior.
- 49:36SPEAKER_03: Um she was the one who was destroyed.
- 49:38SPEAKER_03: After being corrupted by Blythin.
- 49:41SPEAKER_03: Um, so interestingly, earlier articles, such as the Legend of Sardior that I mentioned earlier, um, claim that this was for unknown reasons.
- 49:50SPEAKER_03: Um and later in Blythens, it claims that he corrupted her again through unknown means.
- 49:57SPEAKER_01: Um So they kind of gave a reason Yeah, sort of.
- 50:04SPEAKER_03: But they didn't.
- 50:05SPEAKER_03: I feel like there could have been like a a story there.
- 50:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I it like because all I can think is like, God, I want to know the story about it.
- 50:13SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 50:13SPEAKER_03: I feel like there could have been a really cool kind of like the story of um um oh what was Lolt's original name?
- 50:20SPEAKER_03: Uh Arashni.
- 50:21SPEAKER_03: Arashni, yeah.
- 50:23SPEAKER_03: Like, I feel like that could have been a story, it would have given me uh big vibes of like Arashni and Karelin and everybody.
- 50:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but but they were just kind of like eh.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: I wonder if they just like dropped a lot of it because they were like, these aren't gonna gain that much popularity, and they just kind of like stopped and I mean, I don't know why they wrote like 57 of them then.
- 50:45SPEAKER_03: If they were gonna do that.
- 50:47SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 50:48SPEAKER_03: Like, I mean, I and there was a lot of cool stuff in these articles, and I'm sure there's a lot more uh specifically about psionics that don't have to do with dragons.
- 50:59SPEAKER_03: Well, yeah, did not read, but at the same time, it feels like I'm finding I have found a lot of areas in these that contain a lot of missed opportunities.
- 51:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 51:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I I get that.
- 51:13SPEAKER_03: We've stumbled upon that quite a bit.
- 51:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and I know like not everyone would be as interested in the you know, court drama and intrigue of a dragon god story as me, but like some people would.
- 51:28SPEAKER_02: I mean I mean it's Dungeons and Dragons.
- 51:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you know, our whole viewer base is people who would enjoy court drama of dragons.
- 51:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, not even get a front on that one.
- 51:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and it and it really man, and it it really does bother me that that nothing is given about any of their personalities.
- 51:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 51:49SPEAKER_03: And especially in the case of the one who really sticks out, which is Sarades, because she's the one that had that that was involved in that conflict with Sardior.
- 51:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 51:58SPEAKER_03: That there's nothing about her personality.
- 52:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that that bothers me too.
- 52:03SPEAKER_03: That bugs me.
- 52:04SPEAKER_03: So after Sarades was destroyed by Sardior, um, the other Obsidian dragons were either banished from Sardior's court or withdrew themselves, depending on which article you read.
- 52:20SPEAKER_03: Some of them are the kind of thing where one claims one thing and the other claims another, and then some of them are like, it's unclear which one of these actually happened.
- 52:28SPEAKER_03: Um I mean, it could be either.
- 52:31SPEAKER_03: I could see them getting really pissed off and leaving because their god killed their thane.
- 52:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 52:37SPEAKER_03: Or I could see I could see Sardior just um kind of just coming down on the obsidian dragons for no particular reason.
- 52:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, just to try to kind of like um I think Corelin did with the the sun elves.
- 52:53SPEAKER_03: It's kind of just like to over something like to just find blame to put somewhere.
- 52:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 52:57SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 52:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and like prove a point.
- 53:00SPEAKER_02: Or kind of like what he did with the Drow, where all the Drow were kind of blamed.
- 53:05SPEAKER_01: Even though it was kind of just like one to a few.
- 53:09SPEAKER_03: A few, yeah.
- 53:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I so I could see either.
- 53:13SPEAKER_03: Um, it's also debated whether or not they were banished for their evil natures, or if they became evil due to these events.
- 53:21SPEAKER_02: Well, good job, everybody.
- 53:24SPEAKER_01: I feel like it would make more sense that they just became evil due to these events, but I could see either way, really.
- 53:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 53:32SPEAKER_03: Um, because again, there's not there was not a lot that was put into any of these stories before the actual hammer came down.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: So there's not much about maybe if Sardior had any history before he became a god or what life was like for Ceredes and the Obsidian dragons in Sardior's court.
- 53:57SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 53:58SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 53:58SPEAKER_01: So like we just don't have the information to Exactly, which missed opportunities, guys.
- 54:06SPEAKER_03: So uh Obsidian dragons are neutral evil dragons with black skin and razor edge scales that deepen and blend together as they age.
- 54:16unknown: Beautiful.
- 54:16SPEAKER_03: I know they they sound gorgeous.
- 54:19SPEAKER_03: They really do.
- 54:20SPEAKER_03: I there might have been art of obsidian dragons.
- 54:23SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 54:24SPEAKER_03: Um, so they are the most intelligent of the gem dragons, but also the most cruel, uh loving to toy with their prey before finishing it.
- 54:33SPEAKER_03: They also um the other gem dragons uh did not they didn't understand Sardior's decision to banish the obsidian dragons and destroy Ceredes, but they kind of went along with it.
- 54:48SPEAKER_03: So there's a lot of animosity between gem dragons and obsidian dragons.
- 54:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 54:54SPEAKER_03: Um, so encounters with them usually end in a fight.
- 54:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 55:00SPEAKER_03: They go south very quickly.
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: Rivalry there.
- 55:03SPEAKER_03: So in on the yeah, on the toying with their prey route, um, a favorite move of theirs is to teleport their prey into a hostile location for the finishing blow.
- 55:16SPEAKER_03: Which is so that's so extra, also.
- 55:20SPEAKER_01: That like that's such a dick move.
- 55:23SPEAKER_03: Because if uh because uh of course, remember, these dragons also have psionic powers.
- 55:28SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 55:29SPEAKER_03: They can just teleport you into another dimension.
- 55:33SPEAKER_01: Hey, you know what?
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: At least you're gonna get to see something you've never seen before.
- 55:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like before you die violently.
- 55:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like a giant volcano that's on fire.
- 55:42SPEAKER_03: Like even more fire.
- 55:44SPEAKER_01: There's no good way to die, but I disagree.
- 55:48SPEAKER_01: That I mean, like, oh, that's cool and then dead.
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: Like, I mean, at least you have a decent final memory.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: I said decent.
- 55:57SPEAKER_02: Do you though?
- 55:58SPEAKER_02: Do you though?
- 56:00SPEAKER_02: Uh I mean, also let the I don't know how long it takes to burn to death.
- 56:05SPEAKER_01: Depends on the heat of the fire.
- 56:07SPEAKER_03: Depends on where you are, I suppose.
- 56:09SPEAKER_03: Um so like Ceradust, they have a breath weapon of fire and a weakness to cold.
- 56:15SPEAKER_03: Um and many great worms have uh access to the same level of metacreative powers that Ceradus did.
- 56:25SPEAKER_03: So many of them create their own pocket dimensions to live in.
- 56:30SPEAKER_03: That's cool.
- 56:31SPEAKER_03: Which is fucking awesome.
- 56:33SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 56:34SPEAKER_03: Just, you know, don't like your apartment, take some ectoplasm, make a new one.
- 56:37SPEAKER_01: God, I wish I could make my own pocket dimension.
- 56:40SPEAKER_03: Same.
- 56:42SPEAKER_03: Maybe I should do a psionics episode just to teach everybody how to do that.
- 56:46SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 56:47SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 56:48SPEAKER_03: I wish.
- 56:49SPEAKER_03: Um, otherwise, they tend to reside near volcanoes or in the plane of fire, which is why I mentioned volcanoes.
- 56:55SPEAKER_03: So they literally will teleport someone like right above a volcano.
- 56:58SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 57:00SPEAKER_01: Just drop just throw them in the volcano.
- 57:04SPEAKER_01: And in that case, it would be pretty much instantaneous death.
- 57:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 57:09SPEAKER_03: That's good.
- 57:09SPEAKER_03: I could, I could be, oh, I don't, I wouldn't like falling like that though, because I'm afraid of heights.
- 57:14SPEAKER_03: Just teleport me so I'm like already in the lava.
- 57:18SPEAKER_03: The falling part would suck.
- 57:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 57:20SPEAKER_01: But like the death would be damn near instantaneous.
- 57:22SPEAKER_03: I will tell you lava.
- 57:23SPEAKER_03: It would be better than dehydrating to death.
- 57:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 57:27SPEAKER_03: Like the fucking Topaz Dragons.
- 57:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what the fuck, Topaz Dragons?
- 57:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what was calm down.
- 57:32SPEAKER_03: What was up with that Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition?
- 57:36SPEAKER_03: Topaz Dragons.
- 57:37SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna fucking dehydrate you like a piece of human beef jerky.
- 57:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, human jerky.
- 57:42SPEAKER_03: Delicious.
- 57:43SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 57:43SPEAKER_03: So that's extended draconian psionics.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: Or draconic psionics.
- 57:50SPEAKER_02: Draconic.
- 57:50SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait, no.
- 57:52SPEAKER_02: That that just sounds like I'm saying never mind.
- 57:55SPEAKER_03: Don't worry about it.
- 57:56SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 57:57SPEAKER_03: Okay then.
- 57:58SPEAKER_03: I won't worry about it.
- 57:59SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, so I'm I'm sorry this one's a bit a little shorter.
- 58:02SPEAKER_03: Um It's okay.
- 58:04SPEAKER_03: Because by the by the time that I had researched enough about Sardior and realized that this was not necessarily gonna be able to comprise a full episode, like I didn't want to leave it alone because I wanted to talk about some of the things that I thought were cool about all that stuff.
- 58:21SPEAKER_03: And there's also some some other things to do with Sardior.
- 58:25SPEAKER_03: Like, he has these golems that he made to guard his palace that are just statues of ruby dragons that operate like golems from uh Jewish folklore where they like follow um, which I don't know a lot about golems from Jewish folklore, but where they basically follow instructions to a T and they take it very literally.
- 58:49SPEAKER_03: Oh my god, but they're essentially animated statues of Sardior, which is crazy.
- 58:56SPEAKER_03: Uh, that is pretty awesome.
- 58:57SPEAKER_03: And there was also this evil variety of psionic drake that was created in the plane of ectoplasm by the negative energy that was released when Sardior destroyed Ceradus.
- 59:08SPEAKER_03: Um, but it's basically just that.
- 59:10SPEAKER_03: They're just evil psionic drakes that don't shoot ectoplasm out.
- 59:15SPEAKER_01: Kind of falling in line with everything else where there's just not a lot of information.
- 59:19SPEAKER_03: And it's just like there's so there's so much missed opportunities, I feel like.
- 59:24SPEAKER_03: I like I feel like I know that they by the time Psionics was in third edition and 3.5, a lot of it had essentially been adapted in a way that just made it feel like a slightly different type of magic.
- 59:38SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 59:39SPEAKER_03: And I know that they had trouble, have had trouble integrating it into later editions, but I feel like it's such a shame that there's this really cool character with this cool kind of dogma and religion and and these things and stuff surrounding him that was presented that I think would have been very cool if it was elevated all the way with Tiamat and Bahamut.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_03: And then it just wasn't, yeah.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it just didn't get elevated to anything the proper position where it should have, honestly.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because I I feel like it like I get it.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_03: But at the same like I I and I get like Tiamat and Bahamut are iconic.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_03: But I do think that they could have have had this neutral in an interesting triad.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and where did he come from?
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_03: Like, you know We don't know.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_03: Tiamat was the problem was the one half of Io and you know, Bahamut was the other half.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_01: Was was Sardior like his his like just a random scale or his butt or something?
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_02: I was gonna say the elemental chaos.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, that too.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_01: But like I don't know chaos, wouldn't they be chaotic rather than neutral?
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_02: Oh right.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_02: Well Yeah.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_02: Maybe it's fine.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_02: The the elemental not all neutral things are chaotic.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_03: The the elemental neutral.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, also I didn't mention this earlier.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_03: Sardior's alignment is true neutral.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: I mean Which I mean makes sense, but I didn't mention it.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_01: I just kind of assumed so.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_03: But yeah, it just I like I I and I hate to be so like persistently negative on something that isn't fourth edition, but I just do feel like there was a lot of missed opportunities here, and it makes me sad.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_03: Who wants to come who wants to come join my cult of Sardiore?
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_01: I will.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_01: In this case, I don't think it's so much as like negativity, it's just freshed opportunities and sadness that there's not more information.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I definitely get that too.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_03: Anyway, I'm starting a cult of Sardior.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_03: Um, meet me on Zoom at uh 4 a.m.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_03: Because that's when I'm awake.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_01: So that is when we are awake.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and that is the optimum time to worship Sardior, because he has a portfolio of night.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_03: So meet me on Zoom at four in the morning.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_03: Make sure you have your rubies on your altar, and we'll just talk about stuff because that's what they do, apparently.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_03: They just conversation.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_01: Thank you everyone so much for listening.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_02: Um I really enjoyed it.
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_01: Even though it was uh not as much information as we were hoping.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but that's not from lack of research, that's lack of material.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_04: It happens.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_04: Bring back Sardior.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_04: Bring back psionics.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_01: I want to do chemistry while I play DD.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_01: Well, they are trying to bring back psionics, so give it time.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_01: I want it now.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_01: Uh don't forget to follow us on all of our various social media platforms.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_01: You know, we plug those in the brick there.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so that way we can arrange our Zoom call.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_03: Uh spread the word, tell your friends.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_02: Uh if you have anything to suggest, uh you can email us at dungeonpedia.podcast at gmail.com.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_02: Uh we are probably gonna do psionics at some point here soon.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_02: I'm not volunte I'm not doing it.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_02: I have too much on my plate right now.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_01: Nope, that's Louin.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_01: You've already got this far into psionics, it's all you.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_01: It's all you, buddy.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_02: But either way, thank you once again for listening, and we will catch you next week with something exciting.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_02: Here on Dungeon Pedia.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, can I just say I'm sad that the Obsidian dragons wound up being the bad ones?
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_03: I'm just I mean, does that surprise you?
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_03: So think about how our our our our narratives view light and dark and night and stuff, of course.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_03: It's played.
