Kansas Bans Kratom Effective July 1
Kansas just became the latest state to crack down on kratom, officially banning it starting July 1st after linking it to over 160 hospital visits last year — many involving dangerous overdoses or withdrawal. Now classified as a Schedule I drug alongside heroin, kratom and its derivative 7-OH are now illegal statewide, with no exceptions for users.
