Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Here you see that we have an almost 100% increase of stem cells after irradiation with um laser light.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: They also did telomere measurements, so now we are coming back to this field of anti-aging or longevity.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: We all know that telomares are basically um yeah showing us our lifespan and that the uh enzyme, the telomeras, if we can activate this, um what laser is actually doing, we can basically slow down the shortening of the telomares, and this way we slow down our whole cellular aging process.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: So this is what everybody is looking for, and what Professor Banzer could show in his research after five sessions of IV laser therapy, that telomere lengths overall increased by an average of about 20%.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: So it did not even stop shortening, the telomere length even increased after the treatment.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: So this is a very, very effective longevity or anti-aging tool, um, which is simple to perform but very um effective for everybody who is looking to create um your own effective longevity or lifespan um protocol.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, hi, and welcome everybody to a new episode of our light medicine podcast.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: So today I decided to um yeah make another solo episode on the systemic IV laser therapy because yeah, I just got a lot of feedback, um a lot of interest in this technology because it's very unique, probably the most unique um application we have beside the new transcranial um laser helmet.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, during the last couple of episodes we often talked about IV laser therapy, um, but I feel like I need to or want to give you a more structured presentation on this whole field.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Um, what is unique about applying laser light systemically, intravenously, what is possible, what is the science behind that, and um yeah, what is research showing, what are the protocols and um yeah, how you can make use of this in your clinical um environment, or also if you're a patient, um, how you can benefit from using um laser light intravenously.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: So um let's start by some more words on us um or on our company behind all the uh research and things we are presenting here.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Many of you know that um our business is called Weber Medical.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: So we are a family-owned business here in Germany, and um, we are in working in this field of photobiomodulation and photodynamic therapy for more than 20 years.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: So we I would say we have a good reputation.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: We are a very research science-driven um company where we always focus on um yeah getting good research studies done, treating our own patients in our clinic, and then translate those findings into good publications, and then in the next step, of course, also to get this technology out into the world.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, we are working in this field of laser therapy for IV therapy, for photodynamic therapy, for transcranial applications, and we also have this um ISLA research organization where we do education and research.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Um, actually, we will have our next annual conference in Bangkok and Thailand in early October.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: So, for everyone who is looking into learning more about the applications, uh, you're very welcome to attend our conference in Bangkok.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: And then next year we will also have conferences again in April in the US and in June in Germany.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: So, what I already mentioned, we have family business.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: I guess many of you know my father Michael Weber, who is the inventor of the technology and also the clinical director here in Germany.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: So he's still mainly treating patients, um, especially in cancer therapy and in regenerative applications, and also still very active in lecturing, in teaching, and in um doing research and also developing new protocols.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: While I'm on the other hand, mainly focusing on the business side and the educational part, and also uh coordinating research and educational conferences.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: So let's start again by some basics.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Um, I think we already talked a lot about those things like photobiomodulation or photodynamic therapy, but just in the beginning to differentiate again so that to make sure that really everybody's on the same page when we talk about low-level laser therapy or photobiomodulation, PBM.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: We talk about just the light which is doing um, yeah, or triggering specific cellular effects.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: If you apply it intravenously or locally, we talk just about the laser.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: So this is about stimulating cells, this is about regenerating cells, about stimulating our immune system, and um we mainly talk about treating chronic disease or also regenerative medicine.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: While photodynamic therapy, on the other hand, a term which is very often mixed with PBM, is a different approach because here we always combine the light with a so-called photosensitizer, a light-sensitive substance to kill a tumor cell, to kill microorganisms.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: So this is more like a destructive approach where we always need the combination of both.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: So that's very important.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: PBM is more like a regenerative approach, treating or boosting the good cells, where photodynamic therapy is a destructive approach to kill the bad cells.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: So a couple of pictures, what we are doing or how it all started.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Um, almost 20 years ago, we started with this first multi-channel laser system for topical applications, mainly in the field of pain management and laser acupuncture, which is already very beneficial for local tissue injuries, what you see here for treating back pain, joint pain, and things like that.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Um, then we also applied lasers um transcranially.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: We already covered this um topic a lot during other episodes.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Um, so here you see the older approach with those um treatments on specific points on the skull.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Um, we do intra-articular treatments nowadays, so more invasive treatment for more advanced spinal issues or joint issues.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Um, so you can inject something like PRP stem cells first and then uh basically potentiate it with an application of light inside the tissue.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: Then we do photodynamic therapy, what I already talked about, which is actually the main focus in our German clinic, where we mainly treat tumors by very specific photosensitizing agents which are giving intravenously.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: They bind to tumor cells and then are irradiated with specific wavelengths of light, mainly infrared light for deep penetration.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: And this way you have a very selective approach against tumors without killing or harming healthy tissue.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: And of course, the same principle also works against microorganisms if you think about acute or chronic infections.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, here you see the helmet again.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: Um, what I already mentioned.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: We nowadays do a lot of research in this field of brain health for treating neurodegenerative conditions with a helmet.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: And we also have other home use devices like this endolite watch, what you see on the left here, which is also nice for patients for steady continuing treatment at home to really, yeah, especially when you're suffering from chronic disease or if you're just looking for some extra energy, you can use those tools at home as well.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but today again we want to focus a little bit more about this very unique application of intravenous laser therapy.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: Um, what you see here in the picture, where we use um special cannulas or butterflies to go into the vein.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: It's basically the same procedure like doing a simple IV infusion, but instead of inserting a fluid, you insert a fiber optic sterile caseter, and then you connect the laser um cable, and this way you bring the laser light in a very focused way directly into the bloodstream.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: And this way we really achieve something on a systemic level because the blood, of course, during a one-hour treatment, all the cells in our blood are circulating, they are hit by the light, they are absorbing the different wavelengths of light, the cellular structures absorb the light, and there a lot of things are happening then um due to the light um stimulation, which I will um talk about in the next slides.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: But yeah, what is very unique, we know photobiomodulation laser therapy these days is really booming, but it's very often limited to so-called red light therapy.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Because all other technologies are mostly focusing on an external topical approach, especially for treating local issues, and there you are limited to red and infrared light for penetrating through the skin.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: But with IV technology, we are directly inside the tissue, so we can also use, for example, blue light with very strong anti-inflammatory um properties, or yellow light, or UV light.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: And this way we can use all the different wavelengths of light, and we can bring it into the bloodstream for systemic effect.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: And this is opening so many doors in the treatment of chronic disease, in longevity protocols, in performance enhancement, um, in immune stimulation.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: So, this is just something which is very unique about our technology and which is giving um yeah amazing possibilities for your clinical work.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: So, there are a lot of studies already um yeah um proven basically, or many research um applications have been published over the last 10 or 20 years.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: As I mentioned, we work in this field for more than 20 years.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Our first IV laser technology device has been approved um 21 years ago.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: And as you can imagine, we have been quite active with a lot of good research cooperations with different institutions and also private clinics.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: So we published a lot of research, and I will um show the most important studies on the later slides.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Then, of course, we still also have still have a lot of ongoing um yeah partnerships with different universities, research institutions all over the world, because what I mentioned at the beginning, science and research is most important for us to really prove it's working.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: And then in the second step, we want to bring it in into the world.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: But first of all, we have to show it's safe and it's effective.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: So we also still have many ongoing research projects, especially in the field of transcranial therapy, in the field of cancer therapy, and also in antimicrobial treatments.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: What is unique about the technology is that it's a multimodality um unit where you can add all the different wavelengths of light, what I already mentioned.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, we got a lot of different approvals.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: We just got the new MDR approval here in Europe, we got FDA and um in the US and some others as well.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: We developed special um disposable needles which are transporting the light into the tissue in a very effective way.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: We are using real laser light.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: This is always very important.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: Same with our helmet technology.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: No, it's not about cheap LED technology, which is losing a lot of power during the way due to the lack of currency.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: And therefore, um we really focus on real laser technology.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, again, the advantage is you can use it IV, you can use it inside the tissue, you can use it topically, transcranially.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Everything is possible these days with the um yeah, most modern technology of low-level laser therapy.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so what is systemic light therapy?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: So, actually, we did not really invent this principle or this um therapeutic idea, because already in um yeah, 1903 a Nobel Prize was given for the observation that UV light was able to kill uh tuberculosis.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: Um, and as you all know, these days ultraviolet light is very effective in killing pathogens and killing microorganisms.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: But um we have to differentiate because the very low wavelengths of UV light, like UVB or UVC, which are very effective on killing pathogens, they cannot really use um yeah in patients because they are also like damaging DNA or might lead to cancer growth.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Therefore, we also have to be careful what we are using in UV.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: In the UV spectrum, we only UV uh use UVA light.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: So that's a higher um spectrum with about 370, 380 nanometers, which is safe.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: And um, this is also very effective, especially when you combine it with substances like riboflavin.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but any um how?
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: So at that point, it has been proven to be effective.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Therefore, they developed the first external blood irradiation device.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: I think many of you are familiar with that.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: Um, those older machines where you took out the blood from the patient, you irradiated externally with ultraviolet light and then reinfused it into the body.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Um, this has been proven to be effective, but of course, just to a certain extent, first of all, we have to keep in mind we were just treating a small amount of blood, and it has been limited to um the ultraviolet light.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: So it was mainly good for bringing down stimulating the immune system and bringing down um yeah, infectious um properties in the bloodstream.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so um, but also then later on, this therapeutic approach disappeared a little bit because antibiotics have been developed and um yeah, people did not really look into that further.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: However, in the um late 70s, early 80s in Russia they developed the first real intravenous laser therapy unit.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: Um, so here they treated with red light um with very low power for up to an hour, but it um has been proven to be very successful.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: They used it in many university clinics, they published a lot of good studies, especially for internal issues.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: They could prove, for example, faster recovery after surgeries, they could show very good effect in chronic chronic diabetes patients, in chronic liver disease.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: All of this have been published, but it never really came into our Western world because of the um yeah, war between um Russia and um the Western world.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And therefore, it was more like um yeah, a funny story in the end that we had an assistant doctor in our clinic, um, and he was yeah, seeing in our treatment that we were using laser light at that time, mainly for topical for pain management.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: So he was telling us, hey, you know, and here in Russia, um, we were using this technology even intravenously for more than um 20, 25 years.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: We had amazing success.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, we got interested, and he just brought a little device from Russia to us so we could try it on our patients.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: We went into our clinic, took the yeah, the most chronic patients, I would say, like those people um with very high or bad lab values, chronic liver disease, diabetes, um metabolism disorders.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: And we just did very simple lab tests before.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: Then we did, I think, 10 treatments with a um IV laser, with red laser, and then we did the lab afterwards.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: And basically everyone showed improvement.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: First of all, um, from a subjective point of view, they could sleep better, they had more energy, they just felt overall in a very uh highly improved state.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: But it was also very interesting to see that those values, those lab values who did not react to any medication any uh longer, they really improved most of them.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: And this was basically the starting point for us, the motivation to say, okay, this technology looks so promising, let's create our own device.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: And this is what we did in 2003 with a lot of funding also here from the European Union.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: And we got this machine approved in 2005, also just started with red laser in the beginning, um, based on the older literature.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: But then in the following years, of course, we developed more ideas, better understanding on the mechanisms, and we realized okay, there we can do more by using different wavelengths of light.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: So, first of all, the idea was to develop a green laser to stimulate more the red blood cells, then the blue laser, because we know that blue is very good for bringing down inflammation in the body.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: Next step was a yellow laser, so we had basically the full spectrum, and last but not least, we also developed an ultraviolet laser, which is again great for uh doing antimicrobial treatments.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: So, in the end, now we have the full spectrum of all the spectral colors, and therefore we can create very um effective protocols on a systemic level.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: So, how does it work?
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't I think we already covered this a lot during um other episodes, so just short repeat here.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: We very often talk about mitochondria.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: In general, of course, we have cellular structures.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: We all know our body, our cells, we all developed in light.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: We need sunlight for our whole life, for our metabolism.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: We all know that just sunlight can be effective in accelerating certain metabolic processes.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Just a very rough example, who ever which everybody knows when we go into the sun um in the summertime we produce more vitamin D, which is of course very um important for many um of our um yeah health issues.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: And um therefore, of course, we can do more if we just take out very specific wavelengths from the sunlight and we give it into the bloodstream.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Of course, we can target specific cellular structures with that.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: We have so-called photoreceptors in the cells, and this way they can make use of this light energy for their own metabolism to create more cellular energy, for example, more ATP to improve the microarchic, microcirculation, you have a better blood flow for immune for immune stimulation.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: So there are a lot of um things you can do with systemic application of light.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: And um this is what we do when we bring light over um for a certain period of time directly into the bloodstream.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: Mitochondria is, of course, a very important term in this context.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: We know um probably the most known effect of especially red light therapy is that it's stimulating uh complex um for the cytochrome C oxidase.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: It this is absorbing red and infrared light, and by absorbing this, it's producing more cellular energy, more ATP.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: And in the end, of course, if your cells are producing more ATP, your whole system will work in a more effective way.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Your whole regenerative potential will increase.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: And um, this is not only limited to red light.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: What you see here, the different complexes in the mitochondria can be stimulated by different colors or wavelengths of light, and therefore you have a full mitochondrial activation.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: But this is just one part, the other part is what I mentioned with other colors, you can bring inflammatory um cytokines, for example, down, you can stimulate stem cells, a lot more on a cellular level, what I will talk about in a couple of minutes.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: So, this is actually what we talk about now.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Um, I will just give you a brief overview what the different colors are doing, and also what many practitioners and also patients are always asking us um yeah, when do we use which color, or what is a good protocol?
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: In the end, the answer is pretty simple.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: In 95 of our patients, we combine all the colors because what I mentioned, all of the colors are stimulating different parts in mitochondria, different cellular structures, they all have certain benefits, and therefore um we always combine.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Sometimes, of course, if you are focusing more on inflammation, you do more of the blue and maybe the other colors shorter.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: If you're focusing on energy, someone with chronic fatigue, you really focus on red to boost the energy, and then you give the other colors maybe for a shorter period.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: But overall, we typically combine the colors in a typical IV session, and um it's always 10 to 15 minutes per color.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: So the overall treatment time for a good IV laser therapy session is typically about an hour.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: So red laser, what I already mentioned, um, this is probably the most known also because of this hype of red uh light therapy right now in the field of longevity or biohacking.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: We know red laser stimulating mitochondria, boosting ATP production.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: We know it's stimulating our immune system, it's improving um microcirculation significantly.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Um, so therefore.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, red light, especially if you bring it into the body by the IV application, is very effective.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: And it's also opening like the door in your metabolism.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Also, if you combine it with different infusions, nutrients, everything can be absorbed by the body in a much more effective way.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: And therefore, it's um the IV laser therapy, or even just the external treatment with the endolyte on the arteries to bring it into the bloodstream, is an amazing base therapy to make other things you're giving into your body more effective.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Here you see some of the pictures from older studies, like the ATP production increase after red light therapy, the activation of macrofax, um, the activation of mitochondria, or also the enhanced immune system function.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Green laser, on the other hand, is mainly stimulating the red blood cells.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: We know that it increases oxygen delivery significantly.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: It's also great in uh decreasing lactic acid, for example.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: So it's very good for regenerative purposes and um, yeah, it's also um helpful for improving blood flow and um for platelet activation.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: So green light is also very important in all our protocols when we use IV laser therapy.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, more studies, uh, but I won't go through all of this now in detail.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: Blue laser is, in our opinion, a very effective tool.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: Um, first of all, it's very effective in releasing nitric oxide NO.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: Um, so we all know how beneficial or how important um nitric oxide is.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: But to me, also very important is of course the anti-inflammatory effect of blue light.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: So we have so many people suffering from chronic or even silent inflammation, and here the blue light has really proven to be very effective in um reducing pro-anti-inflammatory cytokines.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: Um, therefore, if you have people suffering from that, a longer period of blue light is very effective.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: And also in the treatment of chronic or acute infections, if you combine it with um photosensitizers like curcumin or riboflavin, which you can give intravenously or also orally if you have a good formulation, and then you stimulate with blue uh with blue light, you have a very effective therapy for killing microorganisms or pathogens in the bloodstream.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, we also know that um especially blue light, but also the other colors have a strong anti-aging or longevity effect.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: We have new research from Professor Banzer, but this will um uh I will talk about this um at a later stage.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, then yellow light can be compared a little bit to the effect of sunlight.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Um, some people always tell it feels like a little bit the sunshine, the sun shines into your bloodstream.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: Um, we really see with patients with chronic pain, with depression, with mood disorders, that this is really lifting um the mood of the patient.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: It's working on serotonin dopamine levels, and um we feel this is also very important because this is the laser patients typically feel the most during the treatment, because it um it's really boosting the mood of the patients.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, therefore, so many people from chronic disease suffering from chronic disease um are having issues with um yeah, with general mood, with depression, with chronic pain.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: And here the yellow laser is a very effective tool.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: And then last but not least, the ultraviolet light.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: I don't think I need to go into detail here.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: We all know the main effect of ultraviolet light is that it's able to kill pathogens, and therefore you can combine it in a very nice protocol.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Blue NUV combined with some riboflavin, you have the most effective protocol for pilling uh for killing pathogens in the bloodstream.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: We have proven this in very good um research studies, which I will also show in a couple of minutes.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so in summary, um here's a summary again of all the effects which IV what IV laser is doing.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: Um we already talked about energy increased immune stimulation, improved microcirculation, um, we have a protective effect on heart and metabolism, um, increased oxygen release, increased um nitric oxide.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: We see with many patient people that we have a positive effect on blood pressure, we have this anti-inflammatory effect, we have pathogen deactivation, we have a detoxifying effect, uh, mainly with yellow and blue light, pain relief in chronic pain, and also important and positive effect on the hormone system.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: And very effective, uh very important also is the activation of our of our body's own stem cells, um, which the research from Professor Bantal has proven.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: So, this is actually what we are talking about now.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: Um, we know from a lot of good um in vitro studies that when you treat stem cells with light, there are a lot of very positive effects.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: The proliferation is better, the survival rates are better, the differentiation is better.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: So, either if we talk about just your body's own stem cells, we know after IV laser therapy that your body is producing more stem cells for sure.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: So you already lift or boost your body's own regenerative potential.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: But then, of course, you can even make do more when you work in a clinical setting.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: You maybe work with stem cells, with exosomes, with PRP, whatever.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: And then you stimulate with laser light, you can make those therapies in your regenerative or longevity protocols much more effective when you add the laser therapy after injecting those cells.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: So we know from different institutions like Harvard, uh, where they could prove that the late light activation of the stem cells is leading to significant improved regenerative potential.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, we know this from PRP research, and um, this is the latest research from Professor Bantzal, also very interesting when they did PRP.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Um they gave patients because PRP is um created from the patient's own blood.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: We all know this.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: So they compared just taking PRP from the patient, or they did um in the other group, they did five sessions of IV laser on the blood before, and then they um took the blood and did the PRP, and they could show significantly higher numbers of growth factors in the PRP after doing five treatments of IV laser.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: So this is also a very nice approach, and then of course the gold standard would be then inject the PRP and then also give the laser inside the tissue into the joint to even boost it in another way.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: So here we see some more pictures of stem cell colonies after activation with photobiomodulation compared to non-activated stem cells.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: Here you see that we have an almost 100% increase of stem cells after irradiation with um laser light.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: They also did telomere measurements, so now we are coming back to this field of anti-aging or longevity.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: We all know that telomares are basically um yeah showing us our lifespan and that the uh enzyme, the telomeres, if we can activate this, um, what laser is actually doing, we can basically slow down the shortening of the telomares, and this way we slow down our whole cellular aging process.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: So this is what everybody is looking for, and what Professor Banzer could show in his research after five sessions of IV laser therapy that telomere lengths overall increased by an average of about 20%.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: So it did not even stop shortening, the telomere length even increased after the treatment.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: So this is a very, very effective longevity or anti-aging tool, um, which is simple to perform but very um effective for everybody who is looking to create your own effective longevity or lifespan protocols.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: So then a couple of words on photodynamic therapy, what we already talked about in the beginning.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: Um, with IV laser therapy, you can also do very good um photodynamic protocols.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: When you give infusions of so-called photosensitizers, photolight-sensitive agents, which are binding in the bloodstream to tumor cells, to microorganisms, and then you stimulate them by specific wavelengths of light, you can kill those bad cells like the tumor cells or the pathogens in a very effective way.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: So, this is great for people who look who are looking for killing um circulating tumor cells.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: Um, if you have um an active cancer disease, for example, this is a great preventive approach to for prevention of metastasis, um, but also for killing microorganisms in the bloodstream.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: So, the principle again is giving a photosensitizer uh into the bloodstream, wait for a while to have it bind to the bad cells and then stimulate with the light in the bloodstream.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: So, here you see the procedure.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: We use different substances for that.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: There are chlorophyll-based substances like chlorini6, we use curcumin, which is very effective, hypericin from Zan John's ward, we use ICG in the more um endocyne green in a special uh liposomal form for the more advanced local tumor treatments.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: And then for the antimicrobial treatments, the most effective one is the IV riboflavin.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, here you see the big advantage compared to antibiotics that PDT has been proven to be effective not only against bacteria but also against fungi, parasites, or viruses as well.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: Here is again a list of photosynthesizers we are using.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: And um, of course, when we started those protocols, we looked at the safety profile and um at the data we had, at the lab data we had available, and in the end, um we had the choice between methylin blue, which seems to be very effective, or riboflavin, but we ended up with riboflavin because it's just vitamin B2, it has the best safety profile, and it's very effective when you combine it with blue and um um ultraviolet light.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, other um IV compounds we use in combination with the laser are artisinate, resveratrol.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: I think many of you know those substances.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Um, so either you can use photosensitizers for killing bad cells, but what is also very common these days is to create regenerative protocols with other substances which work in great synergy with the IV laser.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: So, this is what I mentioned in the beginning.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: If you infuse something into the body and you boost it with light, you make those infusions much more effective.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: And um, therefore, you can create also very good protocols when you combine it even with vitamin C, with Boswellia for inflammatory purposes, with NAD plus or spermidine for longevity protocols.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: So, this is like a very nice package you can create for all those different um protocols.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: So, back to the riboflavin.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: This is in the end the one we went for when we talk about the antimicrobial protocols.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: Um, we know the absorption spectrum very well in the blue and ultraviolet light.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: So we created actually the laser diets for that to match the absorption spectrum.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: Uh, we checked the safety profile.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: And of course, it was great to see that we had all the lab data from a company in the US which is um doing deactive or like reduction of pathogen loads in blood products.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: So this is an external approach.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: They take the blood and then they give into uh give riboflavin into the bloodstream and then treat it with ultraviolet light.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: Um they did all the safety tests um on toxicity and all those things, and they did basically research on all different types of pathogens, on parasites, on all those difficult-to-treat viruses, what you see here, like HIV, um, but also hepatitis or even COVID, for example, and they could show a very effective deactivation of all those viruses by the combination of riboflavin and ultraviolet light.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: And therefore, we basically took this lab research and brought it into human research by doing the first studies by infusing riboflavin into the bloodstream and then treated it by blue and ultraviolet light and to check if we can get rid of pathogens directly into the bloodstream.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: So, this is what you see here on the pictures, infusion, the device, and then the IV laser application.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: And the very first um study we did um was took place in Nigeria uh with Dr.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: Ali.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: So we had a great cooperation here, and we uh decided to make a study on the very severe form of malaria, because we also have a research or an educational nonprofit organization which is working in the field of global health.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: So we still feel like it's very important to target global killer diseases like malaria, HIV, and others.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: And therefore, we had a good network here for treating malaria, the most aggressive form was um caused by plasmodium um philciparium parasites.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: Um, and this is a disease where we still have about half a million people dying every year, a lot of children, and where we still have um lack of good effective therapies, and therefore, um, and of course, the big issue with drug resistance, and therefore, we felt like this is a very good um yeah opportunity for us to see if our protocol is working in a very severe acute infectious disease.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: So here you see obviously malaria is still an issue mostly in Africa, but then of course, if the protocol is effective in such a um yeah, bad infectious disease, we can for sure translate this into other infectious um systemic treatments as well.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: And therefore, we feel like if it's effective here, we can also make use of that for other chronic or active infections, which are more common in our parts of the world.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: So, first pilot study has been carried out with 20 patients in total.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: We did a control group and uh 10 um people in the treatment group receiving um our treatment protocol, just the riboflavin with the laser, while the control group got the conventional um artisinate-based um therapy.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: So we did five treatments in total during um 10 days.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: So every other day, we did the riboflavin IV and then all the lasers, and then did parasite counts, and also, of course, we checked symptoms like fever, diarrhea, and things like that.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: But most impressive, of course, we saw um a reduction symptoms right away.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: But here you see black and white, um, that we had after the five treatments, nine out of ten patients in our um treatment group was totally parasite-free compared to just 50% in the other group.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: So this was very, very promising, very, very effective.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: And therefore, um, of course, just to mention in this context, we also did also safety measurements, which is very important.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: If you do something like that, you want to make sure you do not damage anything in the bloodstream.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: So we did all the safety measurements as well, and we could prove that the therapy was totally safe and we had no adverse reactions at all.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: So, because of this huge success, we did a follow-up study um in 2021.
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: And here we had more than 120 patients, so a large study populations again divided into a treatment and the control group with our PDT compared to the um attisinate therapy.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: And we did again safety data and parasite count.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: Safety data again, totally safe, white blood cells, hematocrit, everything was totally fine.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: But again, what is even more impressive here, we did not only do the check after the five treatments, we did already check after four after two treatments, then again after four treatments, and then um after the full treatment course.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: And what was very exciting to see was that we had after just two treatments of PDT, more than 70% of the patients have been totally free of any parasites in the bloodstream.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: So this was hard to believe, almost incredible, that we just that it just took two treatments um to get rid of it in um 70%.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: And in the end, after 14 days, you see here 95% 95% of the patients had no more parasites detectable.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: So it was very, very impressive to see how effective it is and how fast the parasite clearance happened with PDT.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: Um, this was the very first um human antimicrobial PDT study, which has proven how effective the protocol is.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: And because of this, nowadays many people are using it also, what I mentioned, also in infectious diseases, which are more common here in Europe or in the US, also in chronic um infections like Lyme.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: Um, it has been proven to be very effective.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: So here we can always support you with very good and effective protocols.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: So, in summary, areas of application of IV laser therapy, what we talked about are all those systemic internal diseases like chronic diabetes, liver, kidney issues, metabolic this metabolic disorders, cardiovascular issues, chronic pain, difficult to treat, things like fibromyalgia, rheumatism, um, autoimmune conditions, allergies, hypertensions, um, yeah, depression, chronic fatigue, burnout.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: Um, we see very good success.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: Infections, we talked a lot about this, longevity, anti-aging, stem cell therapy.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Then, of course, a big field is performance enhancement in athletes.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: Um, here you have to be a little bit careful because um because we have proven how um beneficial IV laser therapy is and published all the data, IV laser therapy is now on the anti-doping list as well.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: So athletes have to be careful.
- 40:41SPEAKER_00: Of course, you cannot really prove that you got something infused, so you would never observe something in a check, but you should just not talk about it if you're an athlete and you want to do get some extra enhancement of your performance or of your general recovery, um, then IV later is great, but keep in mind it's um on the anti-doping list.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: And of course, um in the field of integrative cancer therapy, um, it's also a big tool now.
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: So, studies, um I already mentioned we have all those studies, so I won't go into all into detail here, but this those are the studies I talked about in the beginning where we just did lab checks um on all our chronic patients where we see dramatic improvements.
- 41:24SPEAKER_00: We have good publications in the field of diabetes where we could see significant reduction of um yeah long-term sugar measurements um after IV laser therapy.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: We have very good research um in cardiovascular disease, um, for example, here published in great institutions in Iran.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: We have very good publications in multiple sclerosis showing significant improvement of fatigue syndrome and of uh general like movement, um, yeah, motor um disturbances, um, also here, very significant improvement after IV laser therapy.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: And this is old research, uh, limited to red and green laser in the beginning.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: I think nowadays we can even do much better in the field of treatments of MS.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Fibromyalgia, we um could show significant improvements in overall pain, depression, and general well-being of patients.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: And we all know how difficult this condition is to treat with conventional medicine.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: Lyme disease is something I already talked about.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: So, after creating those effective protocols for um yeah, mike treating microorganisms or chronic and acute infections, we followed up with Lyme disease um patients as well, and we could see very good improvements, especially with a riboflavin and blue laser protocol.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: Um, has been shown here, especially by Professor Um Zorn from Germany.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: This is what I talked about general physical fitness, performance enhancement in sports.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: We see after that we are we saw in all the measurements significant enhancement, for example, in maximum power strength, like in lifting.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: Um, also in um in endurance tests like running or cycling, we see significant enhancement.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: But also very important, the whole recovery process.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: This has been done in cyclists, um, is much faster.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: So muscle pain is reduced faster, the heart rate, the whole recovery process is faster after IV laser therapy.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: In children's health, it's also very effective.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: We see here um data, especially from Romania.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: We had a great um cooperation with Dr.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: Aliola, and she published very good results in treatment of children, for example, here with chronic um arthritis issues.
- 43:52SPEAKER_00: And then I already mentioned autoimmune conditions, and I want to talk about one very um specific case report.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Report of a very good friend of mine who was suffering from Crohn's disease in the worst way you can imagine when she came to us.
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: She was like treated with all different things or regular school conventional medicine had to offer, like all those biological treatments, like all the codizone steroid treatments.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: But still, she had such a bad flare up where the um inflammatory markers exploded, where she could not eat anymore, she could not get out of bed anymore, her pain levels were like 10 out of 10, cramps like hell, and um not all the medication like totally failed.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: There was nothing helping at all.
- 44:43SPEAKER_00: So we said, okay, we have to try something else.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: We have to create a protocol for this.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: So, first of all, we checked the literature and found that especially Boswellia is very effective in managing symptoms of Crohn disease.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: Um there are good studies about this, and due to our very good cooperation with our compounding pharmacy here in Germany, uh, we could um get high dose IV boswellia for her, and we also took um IV cure cumin, which is also great for bringing down inflammation in the body.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: And we also did riboflavin because very often in Crohn's disease, you also have an issue with um yeah, too much of the bad bacteria, and um therefore, many people are also given also for her, she got antibiotics and everything, but again, all of those um procedures totally fade in the end.
- 45:39SPEAKER_00: So our protocol was to give her the anti-inflammatory substances of Boswellia and Cumin and riboflavin for the um antimicrobial properties, and then combine it with the IV laser therapy.
- 45:51SPEAKER_00: Basically, we did it every day for five days, just a break for the weekend, and then another week of five days.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: So it was a total um treatment of 10 days with this protocol.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: And um, during the treatment, what uh we observed right away was how the general uh look of the patient changed in a very dramatic way, you know, when she came to us in the beginning because of the lack of sleep, she had yeah, like um rings under the eyes, and um, she looked very weak, very thin.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: And um, so during the treatment, the pain levels went down significantly.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: She could she could sleep again, she could start to eat again.
- 46:31SPEAKER_00: So, of course, during this whole process of the 10 days, you saw a significant change of her all overall look.
- 46:40SPEAKER_00: But then, of course, she also told us like simple things like her all her um her blood pressure, her um her blood rate, everything went or went down significantly again, the pain went away.
- 46:53SPEAKER_00: So, this was already very interesting to see from a subjective point of view.
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: But of course, we also did all the lab values, like the especially the inflammatory markers, and everything normalized, not right away, right away after the treatment, it dropped significantly.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: But then we gave her also a good follow-up treatment for home use, like the same um ingredients, the same um substances like Boswellia, curcumin, riboflavin, and oril form very high-quality capsules in combination with a systemic um andolite tool.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: So she followed up with this treatment.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: So step by step, the values normalized.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: Then you see here what I already talked about the change of her all overall look um within this um 10 days, so dramatic change here.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: And then the CRP, the inflammatory markers, dropped step by step um until they came back into the normal range.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: Leukocyte, same thing.
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: Cortisone, she got totally rid of that, pain level from 10 to zero within a couple of weeks.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, best thing.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: This case report is now already six years old.
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: So this whole treatment happened in mid-2020.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: And until now, she's totally fine.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: She's because she's a big believer in this, she's now even working with us.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: She's doing her naturopathic studies because she wants to help others with the same issues as well.
- 48:18SPEAKER_00: And believe it or not, she's totally free of any medication.
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: She never went back to taking steroids or biologics or whatever.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: So for six years, free of medication, free of any issues.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: It's unbelievable.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: Um, but in the end, you know, it's just giving you an example how powerful this whole treatment is.
- 48:38SPEAKER_00: If you want to learn more about this case, we did we already did an extra episode where I talked directly with her and she told it, uh, she explained from her point of view.
- 48:48SPEAKER_00: But I feel like even in such severe cases of autoimmune conditions, um, of infectious disease, you can do a lot of good things when you use effective IV protocols.
- 48:59SPEAKER_00: When you combine good IV infusions with a laser, you can create amazing protocols.
- 49:05SPEAKER_00: And we are always happy to help.
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: If you're a patient, if you're a clinician looking into this, um, we can always support with the most effective protocols because that's our job.
- 49:15SPEAKER_00: Research protocol comes first, and um this is why we're doing this educational podcast here, of course.
- 49:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so um I think time is coming to an end now.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: So, of course, there are many, many more studies, case reports.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: We see very good results in non-COVID, for example.
- 49:33SPEAKER_00: We already talked about Lyme disease, um, but I won't go into detail here anymore.
- 49:39SPEAKER_00: Of course, you can always get more information, information and material from us.
- 49:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, we can share presentations.
- 49:45SPEAKER_00: We just published our new book with all the research.
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: You find more information in other podcast episodes on our YouTube channel.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: You can also watch how the procedure of the IV application is performed here.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: Actually, it's quite easy because you're just puncturing the vein.
- 50:02SPEAKER_00: There's no fluid necessary.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: It's a very clean and simple procedure and it's not painful.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: There are no adverse reactions.
- 50:10SPEAKER_00: Uh, we have the special three-way cannula available where you can do infusions at laser at the same time.
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: Um, this is what I mentioned already.
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: We just this is still a picture from the third edition, but this year we already published um now.
- 50:23SPEAKER_00: This is the second edition, but this year we published the third edition, which is really up to date with all those status protocol protocols I talked about during this presentation, all the latest research, everything is included in this third edition.
- 50:36SPEAKER_00: So if you're interested in that, that's available now as well.
- 50:41SPEAKER_00: But it's obviously a more scientific book.
- 50:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for the patient, what I mentioned, it's totally safe, it's very very relaxing.
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: You can sit down, you can lie down and just gut the treatment for uh for an hour.
- 50:53SPEAKER_00: And um, but yeah, you will have a great regenerative um effect on your whole body with a systemic application.
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: No safety, no issues.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: Not only from our 20 years of experience, also all the Russian data confirmed that.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: And it's important to um also mention that we are using higher powers now than the Russian um, and we also always followed up with safety data, and we know that this the amounts of energy we are supplying into the tissue is totally safe until now.
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: We never had a severe adverse reaction, and there are basically also no real contraindications for IV laser therapy.
- 51:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so here are a lot of references studies.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: Um, what I mentioned, the field is exploding, the research is there, it's proven to be effective.
- 51:43SPEAKER_00: Um, so either if you're a patient suffering from um from chronic disease um and you want to try something else, something new, then IV laser therapy might be a very good approach for you.
- 51:57SPEAKER_00: If you're a click clinician who want to optimize your own protocols, uh you can there are so many synergies with other therapies like what I already talked about with Michael Ellenberg in one of the last episodes.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: You have great um synergies with hyperbaric oxygen, with ozone treatments, with infusion therapies, with stem cell therapies.
- 52:18SPEAKER_00: So you can really optimize or potentiate the things you're already doing in your clinic by adding lasers either systemically, intravenously, or by inserting it into the tissue.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: You can really boost the regenerative potential of the body.
- 52:35SPEAKER_00: And therefore, we feel like it's a very unique, very potent therapy, and we just want um, yeah.
- 52:42SPEAKER_00: I hope that we want people to learn about this, we want people to use it um to may to get the best effect on the patient.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: And um, we are always here to support you.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: And if you want to learn more, feel free to reach out to us.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: We can supply you with more information material, or you can join us at one of our next conferences and um yeah, talk to us, learn more about it.
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: And yeah, thank you for your attention.
- 53:10SPEAKER_00: Next episode will be actually with my father Michael Weber, there we will um have like a presentation again mainly focusing on cancer therapy.
- 53:21SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, I'm already looking at getting more good um and exciting topics for the next episodes.
- 53:29SPEAKER_00: So thank you again, and um yeah, talk to you soon again.
- 53:34SPEAKER_00: Bye.
