- 0:02Speaker 1: Here we're going five four three two one. Yes. At
- 0:11Speaker 1: all the fucking people that make me feel lazy in
- 0:13Speaker 1: this world, there's too made me feel you in the
- 0:16Speaker 1: rock You fuckers don't look like you ever sleep, no
- 0:20Speaker 1: days off.
- 0:21Speaker 2: That's what I love is unattractive ass he's uh, he's uh.
- 0:26Speaker 2: He's a person that motivates me, inspires me. In the
- 0:30Speaker 2: fact that we're we're co workers, we're friends. I think
- 0:35Speaker 2: it's a I think it's like a it's a blessing.
- 0:37Speaker 2: It's a blessing to be around that. Yeah, because it
- 0:39Speaker 2: truly it's it's uplifting. You know, it makes you. It
- 0:42Speaker 2: just makes you weed out the circle. When you're around
- 0:44Speaker 2: people that truly give you like uh, give you some
- 0:49Speaker 2: good serve a good value to you and your life.
- 0:53Speaker 2: You then look at those that don't and you can
- 0:56Speaker 2: you can then push away. So I'm big on I'm
- 0:59Speaker 2: big on personality, I'm big on energy, I'm big on
- 1:04Speaker 2: will and once.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I believe that it is contagious.
- 1:08Speaker 2: So if you have a bunch of laziness and a
- 1:10Speaker 2: bunch of bullshit around you, naturally is gonna feed off.
- 1:12Speaker 2: You're gonna find yourself becoming what's in your environment.
- 1:15Speaker 1: So I feel the exact same way.
- 1:17Speaker 3: And when I see it like him, I see that
- 1:19Speaker 3: in you.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I see that in you. I feel like i've seen
- 1:23Speaker 1: in Avatar. I see you, I see you. Yeah, But
- 1:26Speaker 1: a guy like that, like, I always wonder, like how
- 1:28Speaker 1: much of that is? Look, I've had sleep experts on
- 1:30Speaker 1: the podcast to tell you, like, like this real problems.
- 1:33Speaker 1: If you don't get enough sleep, like you could you
- 1:35Speaker 1: have a much higher risk of Alzheimer's all these other
- 1:38Speaker 1: serious issues. But I see a guy like the Rock,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I'm like, how the fuck does he sleep? Well? Where's
- 1:42Speaker 1: the room for sleep?
- 1:43Speaker 2: You know that that's true. I can't say that. I'm
- 1:46Speaker 2: that I've witnessed the sleep patterns. But he's a he's
- 1:50Speaker 2: a late ass, so he does. I know he's sleeping at.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Some point, because.
- 1:57Speaker 2: What are we waiting on DJ God damn it getting
- 2:00Speaker 2: his rest, which is well deserved. But you know, when
- 2:03Speaker 2: you when you say you had these sleep experts and
- 2:05Speaker 2: stuff on, It's always a thing that I go back
- 2:08Speaker 2: and forth about, because what is enough sleep? Like, I'm
- 2:11Speaker 2: a person I function high off of six to seven hours, Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 2: six seven hours, I'm I'm functioning h five hours I'm great.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Do I do the five hour thing all the time? No,
- 2:25Speaker 2: But if I have to, I'm fine. I don't need
- 2:28Speaker 2: the eight and the nine. I feel like that's too
- 2:31Speaker 2: much for me. Like I'm I'm an early riser, and
- 2:35Speaker 2: now that I'm getting older, you know, if I can
- 2:37Speaker 2: get in that bed by nine thirty a ten on
- 2:40Speaker 2: an off work day, I'm very happy with that.
- 2:42Speaker 3: But then I'm up at five thirty. I'm up at five.
- 2:45Speaker 3: So what is enough sleep? What do they tell you enough?
- 2:47Speaker 1: It really depends on the person. There are people that
- 2:49Speaker 1: have a gene where they can just sleep four hours
- 2:52Speaker 1: at night. I got done? I got that?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Is that?
- 2:55Speaker 3: What is that?
- 2:56Speaker 2: Does that mean?
- 2:56Speaker 3: My mood is gold? What is that?
- 2:58Speaker 1: What is this means? You've got special?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Goddamn write am alien?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah? I got some ship. Well, there are there are
- 3:03Speaker 1: people that just don't need as much they can. They
- 3:05Speaker 1: can go a long time without sleep.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Diagnose me. I'm one of those people.
- 3:08Speaker 1: You probably might be. I bet a lot of high
- 3:10Speaker 1: functioning people are. Because your body tends to get more efficient.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You know, like you're always going, you're always burning hard,
- 3:18Speaker 1: so your body's like when it's time to shut down,
- 3:20Speaker 1: it's like shut down, get that five six hours in, all.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Right, then you're good. But I will I will confess this.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I am an amazing cat napper. Yeah, I'm I'm one
- 3:31Speaker 2: of those guys. If you stop talking to me long enough, I'm.
- 3:37Speaker 3: A fall asleep right here.
- 3:39Speaker 2: It's something about silence really and just not doing anything,
- 3:43Speaker 2: and I just well.
- 3:43Speaker 1: That's probably you're probably going on momentum all the time.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You probably you're probably going on motivation and momentum, and
- 3:49Speaker 1: then when your body has this break, your brobaby is like,
- 3:51Speaker 1: we can use a little sleep right here. That's just right.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I'm desious.
- 3:55Speaker 2: That's I know for sure that that's accurate because I'm
- 3:58Speaker 2: our catnapping heartbeat.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Do you feel like you've hit a good balance? So
- 4:02Speaker 1: this is what I always wonder about guys like you
- 4:04Speaker 1: or guys like The Rock, when I look at your
- 4:05Speaker 1: Instagram and your social media and you're just constantly going
- 4:08Speaker 1: like god, damn. Do you ever feel like you do
- 4:11Speaker 1: too much? Like maybe I just need to take a
- 4:13Speaker 1: little break care. Do you ever feel like that?
- 4:15Speaker 2: I think the perception definitely perceives reality. You know, Uh,
- 4:20Speaker 2: what looks like so much isn't always so much? Because
- 4:24Speaker 2: you have a schedule, and you know, within that schedule,
- 4:28Speaker 2: there's the things that mean the most that come and
- 4:33Speaker 2: act as downtime. You know, me and my house is downtime.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Even though it's still active and I gotta be dad
- 4:40Speaker 2: and I'm with the kids and the wife and it's
- 4:42Speaker 2: conversation and I'm running around and them back and forth.
- 4:44Speaker 2: That still acts as downtime for me. Like I'm shutting
- 4:48Speaker 2: the work off. So the phone is in the office,
- 4:52Speaker 2: I'm not going back to get it until the morning.
- 4:54Speaker 2: And it's all conversation, it's all TV, it's all taco Tuesday,
- 5:00Speaker 2: it's couch and cuttling, uh, you know, baby time whatever.
- 5:05Speaker 2: That's my downtime because I'm I've taken a step outside
- 5:09Speaker 2: of the other ship's wise. That's that's what I think
- 5:13Speaker 2: I do very well. I can step outside the other ship.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I can separate it. So I think when you're able
- 5:19Speaker 2: to do that, then you're you're managing your mental you
- 5:23Speaker 2: know what I mean. Like if it's if it's always
- 5:25Speaker 2: one thing all the time, that's how you fucking drive
- 5:28Speaker 2: yourself crazy because you're never you're never shutting it off.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And I think I do a good job of shutting,
- 5:34Speaker 2: shutting this off and focusing on this. Like when I
- 5:38Speaker 2: with my family, I'm with my family, nothing is, nothing
- 5:41Speaker 2: interjects or comes in between.
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's fantastic. That's so important. That's beautiful, that's gigantic.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I think I figured it out.
- 5:49Speaker 1: That's it, man, I figured it out. I mean, you've
- 5:51Speaker 1: got so much success. It's not all you have to
- 5:54Speaker 1: be with that fucking phone all the time. That's that's
- 5:57Speaker 1: the phone is the big one, right, But.
- 5:58Speaker 3: The phone, the phone is the gift and the curse.
- 6:01Speaker 2: You know, I think that we shot out the gate
- 6:04Speaker 2: and saw the gift. Oh my god. It's it's it's community,
- 6:08Speaker 2: it's connecting us. We're able to share, We're able to
- 6:11Speaker 2: meet new people, We're able to stay in communication with
- 6:15Speaker 2: with old people, find new people. As entertainer, I can
- 6:20Speaker 2: engage with my fans. And this is so dope. And
- 6:23Speaker 2: then after that you get hit with the curse and
- 6:27Speaker 2: the curses. There's a there's a high level of negativity
- 6:31Speaker 2: that's out there that's.
- 6:32Speaker 1: On that shit.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You know, there's a lot of people that are you know,
- 6:38Speaker 2: not happy or or going through things, and they interject
- 6:43Speaker 2: a certain amount of negativity and hatred through these devices.
- 6:48Speaker 2: These devices are the easiest way to touch everybody. So
- 6:52Speaker 2: when you're just consumed on that shit all day, you
- 6:55Speaker 2: start to see yourself being a part of the negative shit.
- 7:00Speaker 2: So what I've learned to do is go.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I don't.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I don't need to see that. I don't need to
- 7:04Speaker 3: see that ship.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I don't.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I don't pay that any mind. I don't read that
- 7:07Speaker 2: ship for what it's not. It's not helping me, it's
- 7:09Speaker 2: not making me better, it's not it's not pushing me
- 7:13Speaker 2: to new limits. If anything is taken up, just creative
- 7:16Speaker 2: space by me literally spending time going and navigating through
- 7:22Speaker 2: what I think is is a bunch of bullshit. So
- 7:26Speaker 2: I don't let the device beat me. And at one
- 7:28Speaker 2: point I definitely did. At one point, it was everything.
- 7:32Speaker 2: It was everything it was, you know, now separated when
- 7:36Speaker 2: you realize what it is, when you see when you
- 7:39Speaker 2: see the bad, you know, when you see the bad
- 7:43Speaker 2: side of it. I thought the other day, this is
- 7:47Speaker 2: some real shit, and it really made me think. My
- 7:49Speaker 2: phone died. My phone died, and I'm driving and I
- 7:53Speaker 2: was using the fucking maps, and I was like, oh shit,
- 7:57Speaker 2: what the fuck, how I'm gonna get to wear I
- 7:59Speaker 2: don't know where I'm going. And I sat and I
- 8:01Speaker 2: was like, Yo, how did we how did we get
- 8:03Speaker 2: from point A to point B?
- 8:06Speaker 3: Before the map? Shit?
- 8:07Speaker 2: What what were we doing that? I used to print
- 8:10Speaker 2: out directions from Google Maps?
- 8:12Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 8:13Speaker 2: But then before that, how did you get to the
- 8:16Speaker 2: places where you were going that you didn't know how
- 8:18Speaker 2: to get to?
- 8:19Speaker 3: I don't even remember.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Do you remember Thomas Goot's Did you ever have a
- 8:21Speaker 1: Thomas Scott? I did have a Thomas Guy when I
- 8:23Speaker 1: first moved to LA to get one of them.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I did have a Thomas Guy giant ass one hugo
- 8:30Speaker 2: Bill Bill probably still uses it. Shout out to Bill Burr.
- 8:34Speaker 2: But it really fucked me up because I was like,
- 8:36Speaker 2: how do we don't even know how how to do
- 8:41Speaker 2: the common, the norm anymore? Because the device has made
- 8:45Speaker 2: everything available. And I literally had to drive to a
- 8:51Speaker 2: store where I could buy a charger, charge up my
- 8:54Speaker 2: phone to get back and use the map to get
- 8:57Speaker 2: to where the fuck I was going because I.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Had no idea how to get there.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I had no I didn't know no numbers by heart,
- 9:03Speaker 2: I didn't know who I was gonna call, what phone, Like, Yo,
- 9:06Speaker 2: this was the moment where I was like, what level
- 9:08Speaker 2: of success have I reached? I just pulled over and
- 9:11Speaker 2: I sat there and I was like, how the fuck
- 9:13Speaker 2: am I gonna get the word?
- 9:15Speaker 1: Man?
- 9:15Speaker 2: I don't know what it was. It felt like the
- 9:18Speaker 2: end of the world. It felt like it felt like
- 9:21Speaker 2: it was over. I was like, shit, you are. But
- 9:25Speaker 2: that's when the light bulb started to click. It started
- 9:30Speaker 2: to click, like, how how do we function without?
- 9:33Speaker 3: I want to go backwards a little bit. It's still there.
- 9:36Speaker 3: I still need it.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I still think it's dope with all of the things
- 9:40Speaker 2: that we can do on it, but I still want
- 9:42Speaker 2: to be able to put it down and step away
- 9:44Speaker 2: from it. I want my kids to be able to
- 9:46Speaker 2: step away from it. That's why when I come in
- 9:48Speaker 2: the house, my phone is up because I can't.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I can't bitch you.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Get playing at y'all about being on your phone if
- 9:54Speaker 2: you see me doing the same thing, right, So that
- 9:56Speaker 2: time those conversations, me wanting to know about your day,
- 9:59Speaker 2: you talking to me about your.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Day, your friends, Who you like? Who don't you like?
- 10:05Speaker 3: My daughter? You?
- 10:06Speaker 1: What?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Boy?
- 10:07Speaker 3: Who? What?
- 10:08Speaker 2: Ha?
- 10:08Speaker 1: No?
- 10:09Speaker 3: All right, god, my son? Yeah, I like somebody? Who?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Oh Jesus, here it comes, it's a great thing, and
- 10:18Speaker 2: I want to be able to have those moments. And
- 10:20Speaker 2: you know, I think it's it's it's big to make
- 10:23Speaker 2: sure that you prioritize that.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Are you worried about what comes next? One hundred I'm
- 10:28Speaker 1: worried that something is going to be way more intrusive
- 10:30Speaker 1: than that.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It's it's what you mean, it's already happening. Yeah, the
- 10:33Speaker 2: biggest scare happened already with the FaceTime shit that happened
- 10:38Speaker 2: where well Apple on the iPhones. It was like people
- 10:42Speaker 2: could listen into your.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, if you didn't even pick up FaceTime.
- 10:46Speaker 3: They could just listen into it.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And you know, that was the scariest shit ever because
- 10:51Speaker 2: it's if it's that easy to have a bug like that,
- 10:54Speaker 2: what's the thing that's not a bug that's there that
- 10:57Speaker 2: you just don't know about.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Oh, there's definitely government listening to us everything everybody says.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And then in case one day you do something wrong,
- 11:05Speaker 1: they go back with your side. Mister Hart were like
- 11:07Speaker 1: you sit down for men, why to play something?
- 11:09Speaker 3: Hundred percent.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So the fear is the next level of the intrusive.
- 11:18Speaker 2: You know, I think everything has become intrusive now. Like
- 11:21Speaker 2: the toughest thing for me is that there is no
- 11:24Speaker 2: there is no privacy outside my home, right you know,
- 11:28Speaker 2: the the amount of money that you have to now
- 11:31Speaker 2: spend just on security on you know, people to to
- 11:36Speaker 2: be with me, security to.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Be on my home.
- 11:39Speaker 2: You know, it's like there literally is no privacy. And
- 11:43Speaker 2: it's not that I bitch, you can plan about it
- 11:45Speaker 2: because without the fans, without the people that support me,
- 11:47Speaker 2: I wouldn't be where I am. But there's no middle ground, right,
- 11:51Speaker 2: you know, there is no handshakes anymore. It's it's how
- 11:54Speaker 2: you're doing right. Right, right handshake is so much better
- 11:59Speaker 2: to get a moment like we can talk if that's
- 12:01Speaker 2: what you want, not at all, YO, saying now it's
- 12:05Speaker 2: kind of weird because you're doing this to me. It's
- 12:08Speaker 2: kind of weird to have a conversation. So you're just
- 12:10Speaker 2: starting to see yourself become a little older and wiser
- 12:14Speaker 2: and uh, just really see the times for what they
- 12:16Speaker 2: are and see the direction that we're going in as people,
- 12:20Speaker 2: and just hope and pray that we find a middle
- 12:24Speaker 2: ground because I think right now there is it.
- 12:25Speaker 1: One. Yeah, that's what I'm feeling now. No, I feel
- 12:29Speaker 1: it too, and especially. I mean, what you're talking about
- 12:32Speaker 1: is you being super famous and losing all your privacy.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But everyone's losing their privacy slowly, but surely it's happening
- 12:40Speaker 1: to you because you're very famous and because you do
- 12:42Speaker 1: something that's in the public eye and people want to
- 12:44Speaker 1: see you and they want to stick that camera in
- 12:46Speaker 1: front of you. But there's going to come a point
- 12:48Speaker 1: in time where what we're dealing with now, which is
- 12:52Speaker 1: like you have to turn your phone on. You have
- 12:54Speaker 1: to you know, you have to reach out to somebody,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you have to put something up. That STEP's going to
- 12:58Speaker 1: be out of the way and it's just gonna be
- 12:59Speaker 1: people being able to access your life.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you know the bad Here's what I'll
- 13:04Speaker 2: say that's bad. That really fucks with me. I don't
- 13:09Speaker 2: like that negativity is the want. Like, the thing that's
- 13:19Speaker 2: popular is the failure, the fuck up, you know, the
- 13:26Speaker 2: fight that I can catch, the hateful moment that I
- 13:30Speaker 2: can catch in posts like the bad is being highlighted
- 13:34Speaker 2: and celebrated.
- 13:36Speaker 3: That's what fucks with me with the social media shit.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Now, what really bothers me is you know when you
- 13:43Speaker 2: see these things online, like you know, a fight and
- 13:47Speaker 2: there's a man hitting a woman and it's captured. That's bad.
- 13:53Speaker 2: The bad thing is that you watched that the video
- 13:55Speaker 2: was more important than the actual help or the moment
- 14:00Speaker 2: to step in. And you know, when you see these
- 14:02Speaker 2: things where you're catching people do these things, the kids
- 14:06Speaker 2: and it's caught, the moment of what you got and
- 14:10Speaker 2: what you want to post and get likes or whatever
- 14:13Speaker 2: on is the focus instead of the help. Yeah, And
- 14:17Speaker 2: that's that's the part that is just I just have
- 14:21Speaker 2: a hard time processing. I have a hard time processing
- 14:24Speaker 2: what the likes mean to certain people.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Well, you get an extraordinary amount of attention, so it
- 14:32Speaker 1: doesn't mean anything to you. It means something to a
- 14:34Speaker 1: regular person. But to a regular person if they can
- 14:36Speaker 1: catch some world star video and put it up there, like, dude,
- 14:39Speaker 1: that's my video, that's my video. Look my video got
- 14:42Speaker 1: five million hits. Yeah, my video has gone viral, my
- 14:45Speaker 1: videos everywhere. For them, it's like the point of excitement.
- 14:48Speaker 1: That's why then they see you like, oh shit, how
- 14:51Speaker 1: often are they going to run into Kevin Hart at
- 14:53Speaker 1: you know, Costco, wherever the fuck you were.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I'm got definitely running right it to me on a
- 14:58Speaker 2: you know, I'm in I'm in a bathroom restaurant and
- 15:02Speaker 2: I go to the bathroom. You know, by the way
- 15:04Speaker 2: that I went to the bathroom, you could definitely tell
- 15:06Speaker 2: I had the shit I was. I was moving fast,
- 15:09Speaker 2: I was you know. It was one of those abrupt
- 15:12Speaker 2: you know, while you're eating and yeah, I'm eating bad.
- 15:14Speaker 2: So I didn't ey bad in a while. My stomach
- 15:17Speaker 2: immediately said this is not gonna happen today.
- 15:19Speaker 1: So I get up and.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I go and literally like like three seconds, I hear
- 15:27Speaker 2: it as I'm walking.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Oh, they go keV Hart.
- 15:30Speaker 2: And as I'm walking by, a guy gets up, follows
- 15:33Speaker 2: me in the bathroom and he's like, yo, I gotta
- 15:35Speaker 2: get a picture man, And I said, let me let
- 15:38Speaker 2: me go to the bathroom. When I'm done, I'll take
- 15:39Speaker 2: a picture with you. I go to the bathroom.
- 15:42Speaker 3: This is a true story. Hand on the Bible. Hand
- 15:44Speaker 3: on the Bible.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I assume the guy is outside the bathroom because as
- 15:49Speaker 2: I'm going, I see him and I say what I say,
- 15:52Speaker 2: I get done, I go to the stake wash my hands.
- 15:55Speaker 2: He was just sitting behind the wall and he's like,
- 15:57Speaker 2: got his phone out, and I'm like he probably he
- 16:00Speaker 2: just take me while I was shitting.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Did he put the phone over the things?
- 16:04Speaker 2: Oh Jesus, like, I'm about to be on Oh my god,
- 16:08Speaker 2: it's over.
- 16:09Speaker 1: This is it? This is my NC mare.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 16:11Speaker 2: They're about to put something up of me shitting. Is
- 16:14Speaker 2: the bottom of my feet, it's whatever. But he just waited,
- 16:17Speaker 2: and in that moment was so it was so important
- 16:22Speaker 2: that he was in the bathroom.
- 16:23Speaker 3: And as soon as I got a call and let's
- 16:25Speaker 3: take it.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I said, let's go outside the bathroom, Let's take a picture.
- 16:28Speaker 3: That's a bathroom. I'm not going away. I'm a nice guy.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Man, I'm gonna take the picture. He's like, I just
- 16:33Speaker 2: ain't want to lose you. And I'm like, there's not
- 16:36Speaker 2: even a thought. It's not even a thought about it's
- 16:40Speaker 2: a bathroom, right, How weird is that it's a bathroom?
- 16:43Speaker 2: And this is a This is a pretty fucking weird moment. Man,
- 16:47Speaker 2: this is weird. You just waited for me to finish shit.
- 16:50Speaker 2: And I don't know what you got on your phone.
- 16:52Speaker 2: You're too big for me to ask to go through
- 16:54Speaker 2: your phone, so I can't whatever you got you got,
- 16:57Speaker 2: but I had to go out and take the picture.
- 16:59Speaker 3: And I remember going back to the table, just like,
- 17:02Speaker 3: what's happening. What's happened at this point? What is happening?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that didn't exist before. I think if you were
- 17:09Speaker 1: famous before, people just wanted to get an autograph or
- 17:11Speaker 1: shake your hand.
- 17:12Speaker 3: We're past the autograph stage.
- 17:14Speaker 1: What was the last time you get an autograph?
- 17:16Speaker 2: It's been a while, it's been a while. I don't
- 17:19Speaker 2: think I know how to write it. I would think
- 17:21Speaker 2: I would know what to put down. It's been a minute, man,
- 17:24Speaker 2: and I don't. And I want to make this very clear.
- 17:26Speaker 2: You know, it's not I don't. I don't get you know,
- 17:28Speaker 2: I understand, Like once again, I want people to more
- 17:32Speaker 2: importantly understand.
- 17:34Speaker 3: The fact that I welcome it.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I welcome the moment that I can talk and converse
- 17:39Speaker 2: with the fan, but it should be that like it's normal. Yeah, people,
- 17:43Speaker 2: the moments are better when they're real, you know. And
- 17:47Speaker 2: after a real moment, you get a picture because you're like, yo, he.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Was actually a nice guy.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Or I had no idea that that you would be
- 17:57Speaker 2: this calm and cool.
- 17:58Speaker 3: You don't even get to see genuine.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Of a person I am, because the first thing you do,
- 18:03Speaker 2: you you stick the camera in the face you, and
- 18:07Speaker 2: that's when people think that you're an asshole because they
- 18:10Speaker 2: they they they have the intrusive moment that then gets.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Met with it. Can you can you please?
- 18:15Speaker 2: I'm sorry, you don't have to stick it in my face.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Damn you ain't gotta be like that.
- 18:19Speaker 1: They'd look for that.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Because now you get your moment, you look for the
- 18:24Speaker 3: negative moment.
- 18:25Speaker 1: When does shit start getting weird for you? The cow
- 18:27Speaker 1: many years in, I.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Know it's been it's been pretty crazy.
- 18:31Speaker 2: It's been pretty crazy for like the last four to
- 18:34Speaker 2: five the last four to five years and the last three.
- 18:39Speaker 2: You know, it's gotten insane because now you know you're
- 18:42Speaker 2: you're on an international level, so it's it's global and
- 18:45Speaker 2: the following is is bigger and it's all ages, which
- 18:51Speaker 2: is which is really really good. But I think, you know,
- 18:53Speaker 2: for comedians, it's a different thing because you feel like
- 18:58Speaker 2: you know comedians. You know, you're laughing, we're in your homes.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Everything is met with warmth. So when you see a comedian,
- 19:07Speaker 2: especially if you're a fan of a comedian, you're associating
- 19:10Speaker 2: everything with funny and you're just looking for the funny moment.
- 19:13Speaker 3: You're you're looking past the normal moment. You know, it's
- 19:17Speaker 3: like you almost are frowned upon if you're normal.
- 19:22Speaker 2: If you're just chill right right right, because everybody wants
- 19:24Speaker 2: the funny moment, right.
- 19:25Speaker 1: They thought you were going to be funny all the time.
- 19:27Speaker 2: It's like I'm supposed to I was supposed to pop
- 19:30Speaker 2: lock right right on site. You know. If it's two
- 19:34Speaker 2: in the morning and you run into me and I say, hey,
- 19:37Speaker 2: how you doing, Man, that's not enough.
- 19:40Speaker 1: When you work out your ship. Now, I've seen you
- 19:43Speaker 1: at the comedy store, but only once. Where do you
- 19:45Speaker 1: work out your ship?
- 19:46Speaker 2: I like to go to random comedy clubs, you know.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I think I'll go to New York first. New York
- 19:51Speaker 2: has always been a home when it comes to building,
- 19:57Speaker 2: putting some structure within a set that you trying to
- 20:00Speaker 2: figure out. Once I got a skeleton of what I
- 20:03Speaker 2: want to do, I'll just go to West Palm. I
- 20:06Speaker 2: love that comedy club, the improv down there, and I'll stay.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I'll stay for two weeks, oh real, and just go
- 20:12Speaker 2: and run through some jokes.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I'll go to Utah, I'll go to Denver.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Like wise, guys, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Go to comedy clubs, just random comedy clubs that you
- 20:22Speaker 2: wouldn't expect to see me at. But I'll do a
- 20:24Speaker 2: hell of a run, and the goal is to get
- 20:26Speaker 2: out of there with just a foundation. It's not to
- 20:29Speaker 2: have a complete set. I just want to get a foundation.
- 20:32Speaker 2: So when I'm done getting a foundation, then I'll do
- 20:36Speaker 2: a little comedy club run. I'll do a full comedy
- 20:38Speaker 2: club run where I'll just put two or three months
- 20:41Speaker 2: in and it's comedy club, comedy club, comedy club, and
- 20:44Speaker 2: I'm doing seven shows a weekend, and people are shocked
- 20:47Speaker 2: that I'm there and that I'm doing it, But you know,
- 20:50Speaker 2: that's my gym, that's how I work, and I end
- 20:53Speaker 2: up leaving that period of time with a complete set
- 20:57Speaker 2: after the first.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Three or four months that I spent.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Now, after that comedy club three to four months on
- 21:02Speaker 2: that run, then I take it to like a small theater,
- 21:05Speaker 2: and I see what my laughter feels like in the
- 21:06Speaker 2: small theater, and I'll do a little run in small theaters.
- 21:09Speaker 2: And then when I finally feel like it's at a
- 21:11Speaker 2: point where I'm getting the laugh consistently and the punchlines
- 21:16Speaker 2: are working, and I flipped it back frontwards forward every
- 21:19Speaker 2: direction and my story is a real roller coaster, and
- 21:23Speaker 2: it has an ending where I feel like we get
- 21:25Speaker 2: off the roller coaster and we're happy and you don't
- 21:27Speaker 2: feel like you were there for an hour. And then
- 21:29Speaker 2: when I go test it out in the arena, and
- 21:32Speaker 2: if the arena, if the last there sounds the way
- 21:34Speaker 2: it's supposed to, then I say, okay, I'm ready. If
- 21:36Speaker 2: it doesn't, then I'll go back to small theaters and
- 21:39Speaker 2: then I'll go to an arena again. So not to
- 21:41Speaker 2: that arena sounds the way it's supposed to do, I say,
- 21:45Speaker 2: I'm going on tour. So sometimes it takes me about
- 21:47Speaker 2: a year, a year, and three months a year and
- 21:49Speaker 2: four months. You know, people don't understand how hard it
- 21:52Speaker 2: is develop an hour of stand up material.
- 21:55Speaker 3: You know, people act like you just turn on.
- 21:56Speaker 2: A new hours an hour to get to an hour,
- 22:00Speaker 2: you're going through four to five hours of bullshit that
- 22:03Speaker 2: you thought was funny.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Yeah, to come up to.
- 22:06Speaker 2: That hour that you finally say, this is gonna be
- 22:09Speaker 2: the representation of me this year. Yeah, it's a lot
- 22:12Speaker 2: for me to do that, especially at this level.
- 22:14Speaker 1: You know, well, especially while you're always doing movies and
- 22:16Speaker 1: you're always busy with a bunch of other stuff too tough,
- 22:19Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, I mean you don't take any breaks.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Why tour?
- 22:22Speaker 2: I actually, you know, when I'm touring, if there's a movie,
- 22:26Speaker 2: I make the movie schedule around the tour. So my
- 22:29Speaker 2: shooting days will go Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, wrap Thursday,
- 22:34Speaker 2: maybe have a show Thursday night, and then I'm going Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Sometimes no show Sunday, sometimes shows Sunday, depending on what
- 22:42Speaker 2: the work schedule and the workload for the following week
- 22:44Speaker 2: will look like. So I'm implementing that in so when
- 22:46Speaker 2: I say I'm out.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I'm out, I'm gone.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Yeah, So I knocked that movie out in two months,
- 22:52Speaker 2: and then when I'm not, that tour schedule shifts. So
- 22:56Speaker 2: the Monday, Twoday, Wednesday, Thursday, dedicated the family, dedicated to
- 22:59Speaker 2: the office everything. Then those weekends are touring. But that
- 23:02Speaker 2: tour lasts for year and a half.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I mean this year, we did one.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Hundred and fifty seven shows on My Irresponsible Tour. Wow,
- 23:09Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty seven shows.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Before you decided to put it on the Netflix special.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Yeah, we did the Netflix the taping.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I think I did it three weeks before we were done,
- 23:18Speaker 2: so we were probably at one hundred and forty three shows.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Oh wow, then I taped it and finished the tour.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Did you always have this kind of structure? Like when
- 23:25Speaker 1: did you how did you design this?
- 23:27Speaker 3: A thought out individual?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you seem like I'm a well thought out individual.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Everything is not random.
- 23:34Speaker 3: No, everything is planned.
- 23:35Speaker 2: If you look at all my stand up specials, there's
- 23:37Speaker 2: a two year gap in between them. So the two
- 23:40Speaker 2: year gap is because at the end of that second year,
- 23:43Speaker 2: my new special should be coming out. When that new
- 23:46Speaker 2: special should be coming out, I'm now focusing on what
- 23:49Speaker 2: the next special is going to be.
- 23:51Speaker 3: So that first year is all development.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Like right now I'm off, I'm not touring, but now
- 23:58Speaker 2: I'm mentally in the gym and throwing all the old
- 24:02Speaker 2: stuff that I talked about away that's now thrown out,
- 24:05Speaker 2: can't repeat it, can't say it.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Now.
- 24:07Speaker 2: It's talking about what the new version of myself is
- 24:10Speaker 2: going to be, what do I want the conversation to be,
- 24:13Speaker 2: what's my thinking?
- 24:14Speaker 3: And just taking notes.
- 24:16Speaker 2: So eventually now I'm going to start just popping up
- 24:19Speaker 2: a random comedy clubs and trying to figure out what
- 24:21Speaker 2: the next thing is. So by mid mid twenty, I'll
- 24:26Speaker 2: probably be doing comedy clubs.
- 24:27Speaker 3: By the end of twenty I.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Should have a full fledged concept of that New Hour,
- 24:33Speaker 2: and by the beginning of twenty one, I should be
- 24:36Speaker 2: ready to go out with My New Hour. End of
- 24:38Speaker 2: twenty one film my New Hour. Mid twenty two, that
- 24:42Speaker 2: Hour would come out.
- 24:43Speaker 1: That seems like a schedule a lot of people are
- 24:45Speaker 1: doing now, the two year schedule.
- 24:47Speaker 3: It's a perfect gap.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all I do. I know Luis ck did
- 24:50Speaker 1: a year every year, and George Carlin did every year,
- 24:53Speaker 1: but I think even he said it really wasn't the
- 24:55Speaker 1: right way.
- 24:55Speaker 3: That's tough. A year's tough.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's a shouts out to those that
- 25:00Speaker 2: can do it. I think that's amazing. I think just
- 25:04Speaker 2: for everything that I have going on and all of
- 25:07Speaker 2: the different things that my hands are in within the brand,
- 25:10Speaker 2: the business, I need to make sure that I'm giving
- 25:12Speaker 2: one hundred percent to those things so they have the
- 25:16Speaker 2: highest opportunity to be successful. If I'm trying to cheat it,
- 25:21Speaker 2: then it's going to show it's not going to come
- 25:23Speaker 2: out to the best of my ability.
- 25:25Speaker 3: And well then stand up.
- 25:27Speaker 2: You gotta fucking magnifying glass on you you know, you're
- 25:30Speaker 2: always being judged off of what you did at one point.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Just like a musician, you're always judged off of the
- 25:38Speaker 2: album that everybody thought was whatever. So the biggest thing
- 25:42Speaker 2: for an entertainer, artists, whatever your craft is, is creation.
- 25:48Speaker 2: How are you recreating yourself? How are you constantly showing
- 25:51Speaker 2: that you're growing? For me, the only way to do
- 25:53Speaker 2: that is to talk about my life and the things
- 25:56Speaker 2: that grow along with me. The only thing that grows
- 26:00Speaker 2: along with me my experiences, my family, my marriage.
- 26:05Speaker 3: My mistakes, my ups, my downs.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Those are the things that I can talk about forever,
- 26:12Speaker 2: because as you get older.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Things change, shit gets different.
- 26:16Speaker 2: But it's all coming from my personal opinion of me,
- 26:20Speaker 2: my view on me, and how I see life. You
- 26:23Speaker 2: can't lose material in that state. That's why I stay
- 26:27Speaker 2: away from certain things because those things can become boring
- 26:32Speaker 2: after a while for me, because I don't have the
- 26:35Speaker 2: knowledge of everything that I should. Well politics, I don't
- 26:39Speaker 2: joke in the politics, don't.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I don't joke.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And anything that has to do with the slander of
- 26:46Speaker 2: others or other communities, I don't do anything divisive.
- 26:50Speaker 3: That's my That's my biggest thing.
- 26:52Speaker 2: And you know, this past year was one that got
- 26:57Speaker 2: a little weird because I was like, yo, I've really
- 27:00Speaker 2: dedicated myself to bringing people together.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Like I'm I thought that was my goal, that's my priority.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I damn sure thought that's what I was doing on
- 27:10Speaker 2: a global scale. Everybody, all racists, shape sizes, whoever you are,
- 27:15Speaker 2: whatever you are, you can come to Kevin Hartshaw and
- 27:16Speaker 2: have a good time. So when it came off as
- 27:19Speaker 2: if I was a person that was divisive, that was tough.
- 27:23Speaker 1: You're talking about the Oscar the Oscar shit. Yeah, this
- 27:26Speaker 1: is a time where people are just looking to be
- 27:27Speaker 1: upset about things. They're not looking to looking at you,
- 27:30Speaker 1: Kevin Hart as just a human being, like what, who
- 27:33Speaker 1: is he?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Overall?
- 27:35Speaker 1: Super positive? They're not even concentrating on that. I mean,
- 27:38Speaker 1: think about how positive you are, and yet they tried
- 27:40Speaker 1: to concentrate on some jokes that you did what nine
- 27:43Speaker 1: years ago?
- 27:44Speaker 2: It was a it's a wake up call of understanding
- 27:48Speaker 2: the times. But then more importantly, you know, for me,
- 27:51Speaker 2: it was okay.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I went through it.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I made sure that the people of the LGBTQ community
- 27:58Speaker 2: really understand it. Hey, guys, I apologize before, but I'm
- 28:01Speaker 2: apologizing again.
- 28:03Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I'm not that guy. I don't want you
- 28:05Speaker 3: to think I'm that guy.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Then it just became the constant conversation that it just
- 28:11Speaker 2: became the constant conversation, and now it is guys, I'm
- 28:16Speaker 2: not only sorry, I don't condone anything that has to
- 28:21Speaker 2: do with hate to anybody. This is no longer a conversation.
- 28:26Speaker 2: So guys, I'm going to stop talking about it because
- 28:29Speaker 2: now I feel like I'm feeding into what i'm not.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I know i'm not.
- 28:35Speaker 2: The world in public should understand and know that i'm
- 28:38Speaker 2: not because over this time period I've shown that i'm not.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So the apology once again, I'm sorry, genuinely, I'm sorry,
- 28:50Speaker 2: But then it just kept it just it never stopped,
- 28:53Speaker 2: and at that point, I just made a decision, and
- 28:56Speaker 2: I'm like, guys, at this point, I just I'm making
- 28:58Speaker 2: a decision to not talk talk.
- 29:00Speaker 3: About it anymore.
- 29:01Speaker 2: That doesn't mean that I'm being disrespectful to anybody. That
- 29:03Speaker 2: doesn't mean that I'm shutting down anything. It means that
- 29:07Speaker 2: for me, I'm gonna stop talking about it because at
- 29:10Speaker 2: this point, I don't know what to do. At this point,
- 29:15Speaker 2: I thought, I thought the apology is what you want
- 29:17Speaker 2: me to do.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I did it.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I made sure did you understand that? I'm not a
- 29:21Speaker 2: hateful person. I don'tdon't hate.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I did that.
- 29:24Speaker 2: I stepped down so I don't take attention off of
- 29:26Speaker 2: that night and those people that are there to be celebrated.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I don't want to draw attention to myself and what's
- 29:32Speaker 2: around me.
- 29:32Speaker 3: I stepped down. Everything I did was for the better
- 29:37Speaker 3: of good.
- 29:38Speaker 2: I'm stepping away, guys, because I don't want this to
- 29:41Speaker 2: be a negative night or a negative thing.
- 29:44Speaker 3: And then it still became a conversation. So I waited
- 29:46Speaker 3: for it to die down.
- 29:47Speaker 2: I went on my radio show, gave another public apology,
- 29:52Speaker 2: made sure did he understand it. I'm sorry. I hope
- 29:54Speaker 2: these words didn't hurt anybody. I once again apologize. I
- 29:58Speaker 2: don't condone hate to anyone. I hope that you guys.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Can forgive me for those jokes of old.
- 30:05Speaker 2: So now I say, if you don't understand that, you
- 30:08Speaker 2: don't believe it, I don't know what else to get.
- 30:12Speaker 1: I don't know what else to do. There's nothing else
- 30:14Speaker 1: you can do. That's very wise of you.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 30:16Speaker 1: It's very wise you to step away like that, because
- 30:18Speaker 1: if you didn't, they would probably pursue it forever. But
- 30:21Speaker 1: I means it becomes a point of attention. That's all
- 30:24Speaker 1: it is. They just decided that this is something they're
- 30:26Speaker 1: going to focus on.
- 30:27Speaker 2: What I had, I had a good talk and I'm
- 30:28Speaker 2: gonna talk about this for a minute. Friend of mine,
- 30:30Speaker 2: Lee Daniels, you know me and Lee Daniels. Lee called me,
- 30:34Speaker 2: told me what to talk to me. You know. Lee
- 30:36Speaker 2: Daniels is director, uh producer the show Empires and his
- 30:41Speaker 2: biggest shows, you know.
- 30:43Speaker 1: So he calls me.
- 30:44Speaker 3: He's like, Kevin, want to talk to you.
- 30:46Speaker 2: And in us talking, he's like, look, this is a
- 30:50Speaker 2: time where you could speak up and talk about you know,
- 30:56Speaker 2: the community that's been affected by hatred and you know,
- 31:03Speaker 2: hateful crimes. You can step up and be a voice
- 31:07Speaker 2: and say that you don't condone or don't stand with
- 31:14Speaker 2: any type of hate or whatever. You can take that
- 31:16Speaker 2: stage and do that. And I said, Lee, I said,
- 31:19Speaker 2: that's I understand what you're saying. I said, well, why
- 31:22Speaker 2: did you expect me to know what's been happening within
- 31:28Speaker 2: this community in regards to hate and crimes? I said,
- 31:32Speaker 2: I'm not aware. I said, some people can just not
- 31:36Speaker 2: be aware.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I'm not in the know.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I have no idea what's going on. I have no Ideay, yes,
- 31:45Speaker 2: within that community, I have no idea. When you tell
- 31:48Speaker 2: me this, I'm now educated and I understand, so it's
- 31:53Speaker 2: easy to simply inform. Information is key. When people get information,
- 31:59Speaker 2: they process the information. When you can process the information,
- 32:03Speaker 2: you go, oh, wait a minute, that makes sense. Hey,
- 32:07Speaker 2: if you guys think that I can don't hate, wait
- 32:09Speaker 2: a minute, I don't, and anybody that does, fuck you, man,
- 32:13Speaker 2: that's bad.
- 32:14Speaker 3: You shouldn't.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I can say that. But instead, when this happened, it
- 32:19Speaker 2: was become an ally, become a voice, and that's that's
- 32:25Speaker 2: where there was just a miscommunication. That's where a back
- 32:29Speaker 2: and forth kind of was established that I think people
- 32:33Speaker 2: just started to take things and run with it, and
- 32:36Speaker 2: I'm just not I'm just not one to feed into
- 32:41Speaker 2: what I feel isn't going to eventually evolve into a
- 32:47Speaker 2: positive thing conversation.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, when I'm when I'm trying my best too.
- 32:52Speaker 1: It was becoming tabloid bullshit as opposed to like a
- 32:55Speaker 1: real discussion. Clickbait.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Clickbait.
- 32:58Speaker 1: That's the problem. There's so much clickbait out there because
- 33:00Speaker 1: it's such an effective way to get people to pay
- 33:01Speaker 1: attention to things, because, as you said, people focus on
- 33:04Speaker 1: failure and negative and anger.
- 33:06Speaker 2: That's what we want to see. Controversy, that's what we
- 33:08Speaker 2: want to see. People want to see the anger. Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 2: and you know, we think because it's just the times,
- 33:17Speaker 2: it's it's that's what's cool. Now, what's cool is being negative?
- 33:22Speaker 2: You know how you always have some people. It's a
- 33:24Speaker 2: great example how you have people. Me and you can
- 33:28Speaker 2: talk about a movie, right, we can talk about Titanic. Wow,
- 33:32Speaker 2: Titanic one of the biggest movies of all time. Fucking
- 33:35Speaker 2: great movie. Yo, Yes, it was a great movie. And
- 33:37Speaker 2: one guy for no reason to go, I fucking hated it.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Why you ain't like Titanic? Fucking bullshit?
- 33:46Speaker 3: Why?
- 33:46Speaker 2: I ain't got I know why? Now tell me why
- 33:50Speaker 2: why'd you hate it? I ain't got time to talk
- 33:52Speaker 2: to you about that. The cool thing is just being different.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I want to I want to be completely opposite than
- 33:59Speaker 2: all positive people.
- 34:01Speaker 3: You know what, No, no, no, that ship was ass?
- 34:05Speaker 2: Why why was it ass?
- 34:08Speaker 3: You have people that just like to do that?
- 34:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for sure?
- 34:12Speaker 2: And and and what happens when one person does it
- 34:16Speaker 2: another person for no reason?
- 34:17Speaker 3: I'll go yeah, me too.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that shit was ass man, Ain't I ain't like
- 34:21Speaker 2: it either? Did you see it? What y'all talking about?
- 34:25Speaker 2: You don't even know what they're talking about, but you
- 34:27Speaker 2: just want to hop on the negative train because that's
- 34:31Speaker 2: what's cool. It's not cool to be positive. It's not
- 34:35Speaker 2: cool to be happy.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I don't know if it's a cool thing. I think
- 34:38Speaker 1: it's usually people that are really frustrated with.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Their lives, that's the factual side to it.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I did a joke before it was like, do you
- 34:44Speaker 1: think Michael Jordan leaves YouTube comments like? I bet he does?
- 34:48Speaker 3: Now that.
- 34:53Speaker 1: All the type of people that want to get mad
- 34:55Speaker 1: and complain constantly about ship like that.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Do you know what it takes to do this?
- 34:59Speaker 1: Right here? Mine?
- 35:02Speaker 3: You know?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Right here, I'm gonna tell you how I feel writing
- 35:05Speaker 2: your comments section, Joe Rogan, you can kiss smile.
- 35:09Speaker 3: You know what that takes?
- 35:11Speaker 2: What do you have going on that you have the
- 35:13Speaker 2: time to just simply be that negative and do.
- 35:18Speaker 3: It in this world?
- 35:19Speaker 1: And you know it's just a mismanagement of your time.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Time time is and I don't think people understand how
- 35:27Speaker 2: valuable they can be if they use their time correctly.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Yes, now have you always been like this?
- 35:34Speaker 3: Have fucking guy?
- 35:36Speaker 1: Man?
- 35:37Speaker 3: But always always?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Really, I find a light in every dark tunnel. I
- 35:44Speaker 2: will find a goddamn light.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Man. I hear it all.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Listen when I tell you to wait on my back.
- 35:50Speaker 2: It's so heavy of all the stuff that I deal with.
- 35:52Speaker 3: And I'm fine.
- 35:54Speaker 2: The reason why I'm fine is because I'm genuinely happy.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I'm happy, and I'm not happy just because of the success.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Success acts as a bonus. I'm happy because I truly
- 36:08Speaker 2: know the definition and the feeling that comes with happiness.
- 36:12Speaker 3: I truly know it. I felt it.
- 36:15Speaker 2: I felt it when I said, Yo, what really makes
- 36:17Speaker 2: me happy? And I look at Heaven and Hendrix, and
- 36:20Speaker 2: I look at Zoe, I look at my wife. I go, yo,
- 36:24Speaker 2: I didn't have the family shit when I was coming up.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I got one. I got one. Look what out
- 36:31Speaker 3: and there?
- 36:31Speaker 2: Look what I built. These people depend on me. I
- 36:34Speaker 2: provide these people. That makes me happy. That makes me happy.
- 36:38Speaker 2: When my daughter comes up, Dad, You're not only my dad,
- 36:42Speaker 2: You're my best friend. Yo, I'm happy. That's my world.
- 36:47Speaker 2: So everything else from the outside that comes in, you're
- 36:51Speaker 2: throwing shit at a at a bubble that can't be popped.
- 36:56Speaker 3: It's a force field around me.
- 36:58Speaker 2: It's a force field around me because what matters, what
- 37:01Speaker 2: really matters, loves me wholeheartedly. And when you have that
- 37:06Speaker 2: and you understand that, you're unbreakable. So if you don't
- 37:11Speaker 2: add to that force field, if you don't make my
- 37:14Speaker 2: force field stronger, don't you don't You don't get time
- 37:18Speaker 2: from me, my team, heartbeat productions to people underneath my umbrella.
- 37:23Speaker 2: You're a part of my force field. You believe what
- 37:26Speaker 2: I believe. We all see the same things, we want
- 37:30Speaker 2: the same things, so we march with the same beat.
- 37:36Speaker 2: You can't you can't shake that when you're an individual
- 37:40Speaker 2: that's seen that and understands that. If you've never felt that,
- 37:45Speaker 2: if you have no idea what that feels like, then
- 37:47Speaker 2: it's easy to shake you. That's why some people are
- 37:51Speaker 2: easily broken. Being broken is not a hard thing. It's
- 37:57Speaker 2: not a hard thing. So those that do get broken,
- 37:59Speaker 2: those that do get those that do get depressed. I understand,
- 38:03Speaker 2: I understand. I don't knock people for it. I don't
- 38:08Speaker 2: knock anybody for it. What I also understand is that
- 38:11Speaker 2: the encouragement that can come from so many can add
- 38:15Speaker 2: value for those that may need a little push, that
- 38:19Speaker 2: may need a little a man, pick a chin up.
- 38:22Speaker 2: It's so easy to be that positive reinforcement for somebody
- 38:26Speaker 2: and add value. It's so easy, but some people choose
- 38:31Speaker 2: to throw that aside and kick while you're down. I
- 38:34Speaker 2: try to put out the light of positivity because whoever's
- 38:38Speaker 2: out there, I don't know what it could do for
- 38:40Speaker 2: somebody else, but somebody else may just simply look at
- 38:42Speaker 2: me and say, yo. The way that he embraces his
- 38:44Speaker 2: kids makes me want to be a better father.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Yo.
- 38:47Speaker 2: The way that this man doesn't stop, and the way
- 38:48Speaker 2: that every day he wakes up and he's just positive
- 38:51Speaker 2: regardless of what's going on, makes me realize that this
- 38:53Speaker 2: shit ain't so bad. The way that he gets up
- 38:56Speaker 2: and says, hey, today's another day. It's a morning. Let's
- 38:59Speaker 2: all be better than we were yesterday. Somebody probably needed
- 39:02Speaker 2: to hear that. The more that I can give that
- 39:04Speaker 2: out and I can take my platform to throw good
- 39:06Speaker 2: energy out, I'm doing my part because there's so many
- 39:12Speaker 2: that throw out the complete opposite. Yeah, I don't want
- 39:15Speaker 2: to be.
- 39:15Speaker 3: A part of that. That's beautiful, man's and that's true.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I believe you it's not it's not forced, it's not phony,
- 39:23Speaker 2: it's not fake.
- 39:24Speaker 3: I can ship every day. I hear ship every day.
- 39:28Speaker 1: It's very contagious too.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I had a lady, a lady right later. Lady lady
- 39:38Speaker 3: rolled down the window.
- 39:40Speaker 2: She goes, when you're gonna make a good movie again?
- 39:48Speaker 2: I said, uh, did you see the upside? I thought
- 39:50Speaker 2: the upside was good? What's that?
- 39:53Speaker 1: Oh? Ship, it's a movie.
- 39:55Speaker 3: It's one of my movies. That's out. I think I
- 39:57Speaker 3: think it's a good movie. I ain't see that. All right, ma'am,
- 40:03Speaker 3: you have a beautiful day.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, that's it.
- 40:09Speaker 3: That's it. Yeahright, what you said? She asked the question
- 40:15Speaker 3: with such convention.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Like literally, by the way, I could have set a
- 40:19Speaker 2: lot of ship. Like she rolled the window down. You
- 40:20Speaker 2: can tell she still had the crank. So I'm like,
- 40:23Speaker 2: I could have.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Said a lot of ship.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Girls a lot of things that I can say to you, ma'am.
- 40:30Speaker 2: When you gonna make a good movie, it snapping that
- 40:35Speaker 2: one out?
- 40:35Speaker 3: The upside? You see the upside? What's that? It's a movie.
- 40:40Speaker 1: It's out now, amazing. That's how she chooses to come
- 40:43Speaker 1: at you. I see it.
- 40:45Speaker 3: I get it.
- 40:45Speaker 1: She chooses to come at you with a negative.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I get it every day.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Wh ain't gonna be funny again? Trying my best, trying
- 40:54Speaker 2: my best. If it's not working for you, hopefully I
- 40:56Speaker 2: do better soon.
- 40:58Speaker 1: What do you? What do you?
- 40:59Speaker 2: What?
- 40:59Speaker 3: Are am I going to feed into that?
- 41:02Speaker 1: And why?
- 41:04Speaker 3: Why?
- 41:04Speaker 1: Why?
- 41:05Speaker 3: For what?
- 41:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 41:07Speaker 2: For what?
- 41:09Speaker 3: It seems to have been working thus far.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Are you getting this positive attitude towards life from life
- 41:15Speaker 1: experience or are you getting it from books? Did someone
- 41:18Speaker 1: teach you how to think?
- 41:20Speaker 2: I'm getting it from the experiences and from the real
- 41:27Speaker 2: understanding of perfection doesn't exist. It don't exist, Joe. We're
- 41:36Speaker 2: in a time right now where people expect perfection. You
- 41:40Speaker 2: expect perfection. And I don't know where this came from.
- 41:42Speaker 2: I don't know what happened that this is the criteria
- 41:46Speaker 2: for living. My true understanding is.
- 41:49Speaker 3: All right, you got one life, and that one life.
- 41:54Speaker 2: The goal for us is to live it to the
- 41:57Speaker 2: best of our ability, from the beginning to what said
- 42:01Speaker 2: the end, in the middle. In the beginning, middle, you're
- 42:05Speaker 2: gonna do things, You're gonna make mistakes, you're gonna fuck up.
- 42:08Speaker 2: You're supposed to learn and then move forward with the
- 42:12Speaker 2: understanding of what not to do. And when you move forward,
- 42:17Speaker 2: life may get better, it may not, But somewhere along
- 42:19Speaker 2: the lines is gonna click. And everything that I went
- 42:22Speaker 2: through back here was supposed to happen, so that now
- 42:26Speaker 2: that I'm here, I'm able to go ahead with such
- 42:31Speaker 2: a high level of knowledge and I can make other
- 42:34Speaker 2: people better. I can make myself better. I can do
- 42:37Speaker 2: more for my family. Something happens. My dad is the
- 42:41Speaker 2: prime example, crazy drug addict and and out of jail.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Life was very bad, very fucking bad for my dad.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Son got successful. Son then took money, gave it to
- 42:55Speaker 2: his dad. Here's your house, here's your truck, here's your monthly.
- 43:00Speaker 2: At this age, I want you to live your life.
- 43:04Speaker 2: You're the made mistakes. You can't rebuild and correct.
- 43:07Speaker 3: The things that you've done.
- 43:09Speaker 2: I'm your son, I love you. You can't go back
- 43:11Speaker 2: and redo. You can't try to keep going backwards. Hey
- 43:15Speaker 2: about me? You got grandkids. Go be the best grandpop
- 43:19Speaker 2: you can be for these grandkids. That's your focus. Now,
- 43:22Speaker 2: where's this energy devoted to being a grand pop for
- 43:25Speaker 2: the grandkids. Don't worry about me. But something happened in
- 43:28Speaker 2: your life. Something happened that took you in the direction
- 43:33Speaker 2: to reap the benefits of your son's happiness and success.
- 43:37Speaker 3: My energy is now contagious.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Nothing I handed to you, So now you're able to
- 43:41Speaker 2: give that off to all these other people that you're around.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Something happens, and that's in every single life, in every life.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I understand that there's a payoff for bad. Eventually there's
- 43:55Speaker 2: a payoff. It can't be bad, but for so long.
- 43:59Speaker 2: If you got the s and the understanding to realize that,
- 44:02Speaker 2: shit will change, it will change. It's impossible. Just like poker.
- 44:08Speaker 3: I don't know if you play poker or not. I
- 44:10Speaker 3: don't you play poker.
- 44:11Speaker 2: You can run bad forever, but it will eventually turn
- 44:14Speaker 2: around once you grasp the understanding of the game. Eventually
- 44:19Speaker 2: it's gonna turn around. Blackjack, You're never gonna bet the casino,
- 44:22Speaker 2: but eventually you're gonna have a good run. If you
- 44:25Speaker 2: catch your run, you'll do good. Get the fuck out
- 44:27Speaker 2: of there. You waited long enough for it to happen. Here,
- 44:30Speaker 2: Come catch it.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Leave.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Anything in life will eventually turn good.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Now, but this is coming just from your own personal experience.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Persons have any role models that move to you this way,
- 44:43Speaker 1: Nancy Hart, did she speak to you like this about
- 44:45Speaker 1: positivity and.
- 44:46Speaker 3: About my mom reinforce knowledge?
- 44:54Speaker 2: My mom reinforced you don't start things and not finish them.
- 44:58Speaker 3: You don't quit.
- 45:00Speaker 2: There's nothing that comes out of quitting besides knowing that
- 45:03Speaker 2: you didn't finish. We finish everything. You start it, finish it.
- 45:08Speaker 2: If you're gonna do it, do it to try and
- 45:10Speaker 2: be the best, not be better than other people, be
- 45:13Speaker 2: the best for you. If you're in school and you're
- 45:17Speaker 2: going to class, I'm not asking you to get straight a's.
- 45:20Speaker 2: I'm asking you to get the best grade that you
- 45:23Speaker 2: can possibly get. Give me one hundred percent all the time,
- 45:28Speaker 2: and I'm a happy mother. When you half asked me,
- 45:31Speaker 2: I'm on your ass. Mom, I want to do this.
- 45:35Speaker 2: I want to play baseball. Well, then you're gonna play, mom.
- 45:39Speaker 2: I don't like that no more. Then why did you
- 45:40Speaker 2: start the season because I thought I wanted to do it?
- 45:43Speaker 2: Then you're gonna finish the season. You don't quit. There's
- 45:45Speaker 2: other people that invest the time and energy into you.
- 45:47Speaker 2: You don't just quit on people. But I don't want
- 45:49Speaker 2: to do it. Finish the season, mom, I want to swim.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Then you're gonna finish swimming. It didn't matter what I did.
- 45:56Speaker 2: I was never allowed to quit. So now in anything
- 45:59Speaker 2: I do, when I pick it up and say I'm
- 46:01Speaker 2: gonna start it, I gotta finish it. It all don't work,
- 46:06Speaker 2: it all, ain't the best, it all ain't knocked out
- 46:09Speaker 2: the park. But I walk away saying I finished it.
- 46:13Speaker 3: I did it. I did it right now. I've been boxing.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I saw, I saw you're working out with Rico Verhoven.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I'm fucking, first of all, very strong kicker, a huge,
- 46:25Speaker 2: huge man, huge man. Okay, he's a good guy too, man,
- 46:30Speaker 2: good guy. But I started, I started it, and I said,
- 46:35Speaker 2: why am I doing this. I'm not gonna be a
- 46:37Speaker 2: professional fighter. I'm not trying to be an amateur fighter. I'm
- 46:40Speaker 2: doing it for getting in shape.
- 46:41Speaker 1: All right?
- 46:42Speaker 2: Then I started getting shaped, and I said so much
- 46:45Speaker 2: that I don't know about the sport. I at least
- 46:47Speaker 2: want to make sure that I'm paying how muche to
- 46:50Speaker 2: the people that do this for a living by really
- 46:52Speaker 2: understanding and learning it. You know what, I'm gonna get
- 46:55Speaker 2: real trainer. I'm gonna get some real people to show
- 46:59Speaker 2: me everything. So when it's all set and done, and
- 47:01Speaker 2: I look back after my training, I can go, I
- 47:05Speaker 2: gave it one hundred percent, and look at how good
- 47:06Speaker 2: I got. Look at what I'm a product of a
- 47:09Speaker 2: spar I go getting here really yeah, just to feel
- 47:13Speaker 2: it so I can say I did it.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Is serious. No, that's me yet, that's me.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Come on, that's me, dude, that's me.
- 47:23Speaker 3: It's getting it too. Look at this.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Who is teaching him?
- 47:29Speaker 2: His name is Biggs. He's in Atlanta. That's me learning
- 47:32Speaker 2: how to turtle shell with im punchings. But you know
- 47:35Speaker 2: he's a former Golden Glove guy.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Really good, dude, you were in a cop and everything
- 47:40Speaker 1: what I.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Was after the sparring session when I'm like real tired, Damn,
- 47:43Speaker 2: I'd have got touched. I got my ass whipped it
- 47:45Speaker 2: every a couple of times. You would have guys worried
- 47:47Speaker 2: about that at all, getting because I'm not. I don't
- 47:49Speaker 2: go crazy. We had gear and I'm not in there.
- 47:52Speaker 2: But I'm not in there with guys that Yes, I'm
- 47:55Speaker 2: not in there with guys that have no concept of
- 47:59Speaker 2: reality on control like they're they're just helping me understand.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Here's why you have to keep your hand up.
- 48:06Speaker 1: That is a problem. With celebrities trying to spar like
- 48:09Speaker 1: if you try to like, you know, that's why Mickey
- 48:11Speaker 1: Rourke started getting all that facial surgery. He's sparring James Tony,
- 48:15Speaker 1: Jesus beat the man.
- 48:18Speaker 3: That's just it's just not a smart movie right there.
- 48:21Speaker 1: That's it. James Tony is a mean man.
- 48:23Speaker 2: That's just you can't like, I don't I don't go
- 48:26Speaker 2: in that space.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Have you ever seen James Tony talk ship while he spars.
- 48:30Speaker 1: That's some of the most entertaining things you'll ever foind
- 48:32Speaker 1: on YouTube. He's just he just won't shut the fuck up.
- 48:35Speaker 1: He's beating your ass. He's talking ship.
- 48:37Speaker 3: That's this ain't ship, that's he, that's her.
- 48:42Speaker 1: And he's one of the best defensive fighters ever. So
- 48:45Speaker 1: he's really difficult to hit. He's got that shell going.
- 48:48Speaker 1: I stand right in front of you, and you can't.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Hit the most in the world.
- 48:52Speaker 2: I had a guy who's got an Mikey. I'm sparring
- 48:54Speaker 2: with Mikey. Mikey hit me with three punches.
- 48:59Speaker 3: I thought. I thought Mikey literally had like six arms.
- 49:04Speaker 2: This is the true story, I said, I don't know
- 49:07Speaker 2: what just happened, but I thought I had my hands
- 49:10Speaker 2: up and no matter where I put him, he just
- 49:12Speaker 2: tapped me. He lets me feel it, but not to
- 49:15Speaker 2: where I might get knocked out. But I understand now movement,
- 49:18Speaker 2: I understand pivots, I understand shoulder protection.
- 49:22Speaker 3: And that's my goal.
- 49:22Speaker 2: My goal is just to understand because I can't do
- 49:24Speaker 2: anything halfway. Okay, have you trying to fight somebody?
- 49:27Speaker 3: Nope, nope.
- 49:28Speaker 2: I just want to say that I did it, and
- 49:29Speaker 2: I learned, and I can move and I look the
- 49:31Speaker 2: part because I put time into it.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Well, as you learn it too, and as you watch
- 49:36Speaker 1: it and you start get trained, then you start to
- 49:38Speaker 1: look at a guy like a Terrence Crawford or a
- 49:40Speaker 1: Lomachenko and you go, oh, now, I appreciate what you're
- 49:44Speaker 1: doing because before you'd see like, oh, yeah, you beat
- 49:46Speaker 1: that guy up. Oh yeah, he knocked that guy out.
- 49:48Speaker 1: But then you see like how he ducks under the
- 49:51Speaker 1: left and fires back with the right, saying, oh Jesus,
- 49:54Speaker 1: this is precision.
- 49:55Speaker 3: It's insane.
- 49:57Speaker 2: The respect that I have for people that do that,
- 49:59Speaker 2: or to day, it's through the roof you're in. People
- 50:04Speaker 2: that fight are in the most amazing shape in the universe.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Yeah, you're in the most.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Amazing shape ever to move, get hit for three to
- 50:15Speaker 2: five minutes around, come back, do it, come back, do it.
- 50:21Speaker 2: And these fights go on and on and on. I
- 50:24Speaker 2: take my out off to you. You get three rounds
- 50:26Speaker 2: out of me. I'm breathing out my butt. I don't
- 50:28Speaker 2: know where the air is coming from. I'm searching for it.
- 50:31Speaker 1: It's a crazy way to make a living too much.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Yes, thank god, thank god, I don't. I didn't have
- 50:37Speaker 2: to go down that route. And you know, to those
- 50:39Speaker 2: that do, just make sure you just put your your
- 50:41Speaker 2: body first. Like you said, it's it's hurtful when you
- 50:44Speaker 2: see the damage that it can cause.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we were talking about that earlier, like seeing guys
- 50:48Speaker 1: as they start to deteriorate, and it's hard because nobody
- 50:51Speaker 1: wants to tell them that either everybody wants to tell
- 50:53Speaker 1: them they got one more good fight and what's uh.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Maybe at the end of the year then we'll decide.
- 50:58Speaker 1: But right now we're going to train hard. It's hard
- 51:02Speaker 1: to because there's no options. They don't once you've established
- 51:04Speaker 1: yourself as a professional fighter and you don't have an
- 51:07Speaker 1: exit strategy, you don't want to do. You know, now,
- 51:10Speaker 1: at least thankfully because of the Internet, guys are getting
- 51:13Speaker 1: podcasts and they're starting doing commentary shows and they're talking
- 51:16Speaker 1: about fighting and.
- 51:17Speaker 2: It's the positive. You just found the positive. That's the
- 51:21Speaker 2: positive within the Internet. There is positive.
- 51:25Speaker 3: You just don't. You just don't hear it celebrated as much.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Well, the Internet is very positive for me. I mean,
- 51:30Speaker 1: this is the show we do on the Internet. I
- 51:32Speaker 1: mean all not just podcasts, but YouTube videos and also information.
- 51:38Speaker 1: I know more because of the Internet than I ever
- 51:40Speaker 1: would have about it. There's not a not a doubt
- 51:42Speaker 1: in my mind that a more educated, more aware person
- 51:47Speaker 1: I want the Internet.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you get the things that you're able to find
- 51:50Speaker 2: and search and I mean, like you said, you're you're
- 51:53Speaker 2: able to self educate at a at a very high level.
- 51:56Speaker 2: These are the goods. Yeah, we're talking about the goods.
- 51:58Speaker 2: So when you talk about positive, Kevin, how have you been?
- 52:01Speaker 2: Are you always like that? It's this it's the things
- 52:03Speaker 2: that I look at that are so easy.
- 52:05Speaker 1: You're not just positive though, you're like crazy ambitious. That's
- 52:08Speaker 1: the thing that gets me about you and the Rock
- 52:10Speaker 1: for sure. It's like the ambitions off the charts, Like
- 52:13Speaker 1: I know, you're rich as fuck, like when when do
- 52:15Speaker 1: you think you got enough? You don't have enough, doesn't
- 52:17Speaker 1: know enough.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I don't have enough because it's not over.
- 52:20Speaker 1: It's not over.
- 52:22Speaker 2: So you know, when when you put a cap on it,
- 52:25Speaker 2: you're putting a punctuation to it. And the the the
- 52:31Speaker 2: ambition comes from seeing what's out there that can be obtained,
- 52:37Speaker 2: you know, when you see what's out there.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Like what you mean physical things, like when.
- 52:43Speaker 2: You see what's out there, when you see where people
- 52:48Speaker 2: are really gaining wealth and knowledge from. Okay, the business
- 52:53Speaker 2: relationships that you're able to acquire, the people that you're
- 52:58Speaker 2: able to partner with and create certain things, different revenue streams.
- 53:04Speaker 2: What I found is, as a young black guy from
- 53:08Speaker 2: North Philadelphia, the biggest problem with the biggest problem within
- 53:15Speaker 2: our community is knowledge. We don't know debt. Debt is
- 53:20Speaker 2: welcomed because it's celebrated. That's all we know. Yeah, now
- 53:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna get that credit card. I'm gonna fuck that
- 53:26Speaker 2: credit card.
- 53:27Speaker 3: Up, and it is what it is. They gotta figure
- 53:29Speaker 3: that out. I ain't got it. After that, yeah, well
- 53:31Speaker 3: you know what I'm getting student loans. They gave it
- 53:33Speaker 3: to me. And then after that, shit, it is what
- 53:35Speaker 3: it is. I'm figured out.
- 53:37Speaker 2: I'm put a caple bill in your name, you put
- 53:38Speaker 2: it in my name, We're gonna switch it up. Whatever
- 53:40Speaker 2: they do it, then let's just put it on somebody
- 53:42Speaker 2: else's name.
- 53:42Speaker 3: It's welcome. The hustle is welcome.
- 53:46Speaker 2: The knowledge of banks and what you can do or
- 53:48Speaker 2: can't do is is fucking You don't even get it
- 53:52Speaker 2: because you go to check cashing places. The reason why
- 53:54Speaker 2: you go check catching places because I don't want to
- 53:56Speaker 2: go through that shit with the banks.
- 53:57Speaker 3: Don't trust that.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Go right there to check catching place. Let me get
- 53:59Speaker 2: my Let me get mine, Now take thirty dollars whatever,
- 54:01Speaker 2: Let me get it. The knowledge isn't given, so it's
- 54:05Speaker 2: not till you obtain that knowledge and understanding that you go,
- 54:08Speaker 2: oh shit, Oh this is why you put money up.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Oh this this is how you increase versus decrease.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Oh this is how you earn on your money.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Oh wow, I can gain wealth by investing in what
- 54:24Speaker 2: the stock world is?
- 54:25Speaker 3: What? How many people partake in the stock world? And
- 54:29Speaker 3: is there a part that isn't necessarily gambling? Is there
- 54:32Speaker 3: a low risk part? The information isn't there, so it's
- 54:36Speaker 3: not why I got to a certain level and a
- 54:38Speaker 3: certain group of people where I got it, and now
- 54:40Speaker 3: that I got it, I want to give it.
- 54:43Speaker 2: So now I'm going to give it. I'm going to
- 54:45Speaker 2: give it to the people that I know need it most.
- 54:48Speaker 2: And for me, that younger generation of black people that
- 54:52Speaker 2: don't understand the cool thing is in financial longevity, not
- 54:58Speaker 2: in the now. It's not in the moment for jewelry,
- 55:01Speaker 2: not in the moment for the car. It's in the longevity.
- 55:04Speaker 2: It's in buildings.
- 55:05Speaker 3: So at the end of the day, you can say,
- 55:06Speaker 3: look at what I have, look at what I worked for,
- 55:09Speaker 3: look at what I have that's mine. Monopoly is real,
- 55:13Speaker 3: but you have to have the financial understanding. And I
- 55:16Speaker 3: teamed up. I got chased on that.
- 55:18Speaker 2: We're doing something called financial fitness, where it's just about
- 55:20Speaker 2: me educating people on money, really how to manage money,
- 55:24Speaker 2: how to be smart with your money. But it's coming
- 55:27Speaker 2: from a person that fucked up money. I didn't always
- 55:30Speaker 2: understand it. I owed in taxes before because I didn't
- 55:33Speaker 2: understand it in the beginning. I've had bad credit. Credit
- 55:37Speaker 2: cards wouldn't take me because I maxed out. Whatever I've
- 55:40Speaker 2: been there, I've done it. Thank God, I was able
- 55:42Speaker 2: to fix it and get on the right path. And
- 55:44Speaker 2: now that I have the knowledge, I want to give it.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Whose simply don't know. So when you say the endgame,
- 55:51Speaker 2: the end game is getting to a point where I've
- 55:53Speaker 2: taken all the knowledge that I've been able to get
- 55:55Speaker 2: over these years and really applying it and providing family wealth.
- 56:02Speaker 2: When it's all said and done, the last name Heart
- 56:03Speaker 2: is going to mean just more, a lot more than
- 56:06Speaker 2: just Kevin harten comedy, Heartbeat Productions, got Heartbeat Digital, you
- 56:10Speaker 2: got Heartbeat Ventures, your heart Beat, real estate. There's so
- 56:14Speaker 2: many things that the last name of Heart will be
- 56:16Speaker 2: attached to.
- 56:17Speaker 1: You sell real estate, Kevin.
- 56:18Speaker 3: Hart doesn't sell real estate. A buy real estate.
- 56:22Speaker 1: About that, I don't sell it.
- 56:26Speaker 3: I buy it. But the reason why is because investment, investment.
- 56:30Speaker 2: But as you get older, you learn this, you learn
- 56:33Speaker 2: it and and you know it's such a thing where
- 56:35Speaker 2: you talk about black versus white.
- 56:38Speaker 1: You know a lot of people do.
- 56:39Speaker 3: That and rightfully so like there is racism.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Racism exists, I'm not unaware of that, but there is
- 56:47Speaker 2: a high volume of it that's that's non existent to
- 56:50Speaker 2: people that are good people. And when you can merge
- 56:52Speaker 2: yourself with good people, and follow the paths that you
- 56:57Speaker 2: see that these good successful people have taken. You then
- 57:02Speaker 2: become a part of a world and group that nobody
- 57:04Speaker 2: expected you to be in. So for me, I now
- 57:06Speaker 2: have the position to do that and take all of
- 57:08Speaker 2: these relationships and all this knowledge and take it back to.
- 57:11Speaker 1: The people that need the most.
- 57:12Speaker 3: I'd like to share. I don't want it all by myself.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Now, are you doing this and the financial stuff? Are
- 57:17Speaker 1: you doing this? In videos like releasing We're.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Starting, We're gonna start, We're gonna start financial fitness, Like
- 57:23Speaker 2: I said with Chase JP Morgan, Chase Jamie Diamond, very
- 57:27Speaker 2: good guy. Uh to Shinda as well, they're they're help leading,
- 57:31Speaker 2: in charge and just saying how can we get to
- 57:33Speaker 2: the people that we feel need the financial information the most?
- 57:37Speaker 2: So I said, put me out there, like, let's let's
- 57:41Speaker 2: go directly to the consumer. So from colleges, from high schools,
- 57:48Speaker 2: senior classes, junior classes, going out and talking to people
- 57:51Speaker 2: before they go into the next stages of their life
- 57:53Speaker 2: about the things that you should know.
- 57:55Speaker 1: So you're gonna speak to them, yeah, and just share
- 57:57Speaker 1: personal information. Are you gonna put this stuff on there?
- 58:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 58:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you'll be able to track and find content from it.
- 58:03Speaker 2: But I'm authentic, So I said, the best way to
- 58:05Speaker 2: really do it is it put me in a position
- 58:07Speaker 2: to be heard. I want to be heard, like it's
- 58:10Speaker 2: a different story what I explained to the people of
- 58:15Speaker 2: JP Morgan Chase just when we were talking about this,
- 58:17Speaker 2: and there's an amazing board of people that are just figuring.
- 58:22Speaker 3: This out and the best way to go and do it.
- 58:24Speaker 2: And I said, you can't have the white guy that's
- 58:29Speaker 2: never been to the hood, or who's not from the hood,
- 58:33Speaker 2: or has no idea how the economy works here and
- 58:37Speaker 2: what the real troubles are. You can't throw that man in.
- 58:40Speaker 3: The situation to talk to people because I'm not listening
- 58:43Speaker 3: to you from the gate because you don't relate. I
- 58:45Speaker 3: don't relate to you.
- 58:46Speaker 2: But throwing somebody in a situation that's lived it, that's
- 58:49Speaker 2: been in it, that's been fucked up in it, made
- 58:53Speaker 2: it out of it, and it's now coming back to help,
- 58:56Speaker 2: it's a different ballgame. And that's what I want to be.
- 59:00Speaker 2: And you know, we have other voices outside of myself,
- 59:03Speaker 2: very powerful voices that are going to do it as well.
- 59:05Speaker 2: But the purpose is to align ourselves to really make
- 59:08Speaker 2: a change.
- 59:09Speaker 3: So you can need to be.
- 59:10Speaker 2: The conversation about making change. You can be actual a
- 59:13Speaker 2: part of the action to do it. I want to
- 59:15Speaker 2: be a part of the action and doing it. You'll
- 59:17Speaker 2: also be able to understand my drive. You'll get why
- 59:21Speaker 2: I do so much. You'll get why my hand is
- 59:24Speaker 2: in so much because I have access to it. And
- 59:27Speaker 2: the question should be why not. Yeah, The question shouldn't
- 59:30Speaker 2: be yo, why is he doing everything? It should be
- 59:32Speaker 2: why aren't you? Why aren't you trying to do everything?
- 59:35Speaker 3: Why not?
- 59:36Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing about a guy like you that
- 59:38Speaker 1: becomes contagious, Like what you were saying about, surrounding yourself
- 59:41Speaker 1: with positive people and people that are constantly ambitious, and
- 59:43Speaker 1: that there's fuel to that. You feel good about that.
- 59:47Speaker 1: That's what you're doing.
- 59:48Speaker 3: I can say seeing you here, right, we walked around.
- 59:54Speaker 2: You show me your facility. Loved it, beautiful facility. You
- 59:58Speaker 2: talk to me about how your podcast is grown to
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: where you are now, the success behind it. I don't
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: leave here and go yo, that's dope as shit. I go, Hey,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: I need to do more work on my radio station,
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: laugh Out Love Radio.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: I own it. It's mine.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I got to show on it. But you know what,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Joe fucking motivated me to do more. I want to
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: make sure that we understand really what's out here within
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: this radio world. Because I just saw my guy in
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: his space and I saw how happy he is, what
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: the success that he has. I don't want to be
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: you or beat you. I want to take this energy
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: and apply it to myself. That's the purpose of seeing. Yeah,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: that's the purpose of being smart with your eyeballs.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: You should be a sponge. So I'm a sponge.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: So I come here and I look at how you maneuver,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I look at your setup. I not only bowed down
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: to congratulate you, I leave and I say, yo, man,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: I'm inspired, dude.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: That's dope at hell, Joe. I can't wait.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: In two years, you're gonna come and you're gonna see
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: my shit. And you remember I said I was inspired.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: You gonna see what I let it grow into. That's
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: the proper way to get encouraged and motivated.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Right as opposed to being a hater.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: A hater and competitive and I'm gonna beat you. It's
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: not a competition.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not interested in that either. I share the
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: exact same.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Feelings it's not a competition at all.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: So if you don't have people like that that are
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: inspiring around you, you might not know how positive it
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: is and how powerful it is. If you see someone
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: that's on television or on social media, and you see them,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: it's hard to be inspired. You don't know them, but
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you're I.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Can say, look at your circle, right and in your circle.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: If the conversation is all about what we hate.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: I can't stand that song. You see the new fucking
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: car came out? Okay, that's shit, is ass?
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: I can't stand that fucking car. Yo, man, I can't
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: stand in the city, a lot of funck we even
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: in the city.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: What we eating?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: I hate that place.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: It's so easy if you people don't even listen to it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: It's so easy.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: It can be the smallest ship in the world, the
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: smallest ship, but if it's always hate.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: You can't stand these headphones while we got these headphones?
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I hate these horrible is it?
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: I can't stand its horrible tab I hate harwar? Why
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: could you get a verging table?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Hate this ship? Fucking cheers?
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: You ain't got better cheers? I hate these ships.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: It's so easy, it's so easy to talk about Ham
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: and so many people don't realize that in a group,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: you do it, you ping pong hate off of one another.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Unless it's funny.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: It can be funny hate.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Sometimes funny funny hate, funny hate, it's just between yourselves.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Patrice was was one of the best, one of the best.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Funny haters. Okay, okay, you you bring up a good point.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: Comedic hate. It's a different kind of hate, comedic hate.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: One of the not one of the probably the best.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Patres Patria used to do. I remember when I would
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: talk and if I was saying something, you would just
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: hear what would you talk about? He's, ugh, what what
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: do you talking about? Just the way you talk bus
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: like what your voice, everything about your voice just makes
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: me want to punch you in the face, like we
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: were talking about.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: When he would go after you too. It kind of
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: made you feel good too, like if you're a comics,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: especially if you're a comic like I called OPI and
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Anthony WinCE. I was talking to him, and Anthony Anthony
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: always has a gun on him. He carries a gun everywhere,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: like he has a concealed carry permit and shit. And
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I said to him, I said, do you ever worry
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: that maybe you're putting out this energy and you're manifesting
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: something like some sort of an attack on you because
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: you're constantly dwelling on it. You always have this gun.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: And Patrice goes, Joe, believe in, Joe, believe me conjuring
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: up the world. Hey man, a positive nagy. It just
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: starts laughing. See he's mad, Joe. And I'm like, but
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: he would go after you. Man, It's like, you just
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: want to step back and watch.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I remember he got Bill Burr so mad at one time.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Oh Bill used to get so fucking mad. Beautiful thing
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: about Bill Burr. But we'd be snapping Bill. Bill has
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: gotta get back. I guess it's not funny. It's none
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: of it's funny.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: You're laughing. Bill be like, where's the.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Punchline in it? There's no punchline. He gets so fucking mad.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: We the comedy Seller, the days that we had there, man,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Bill Bird, Patrisa O'Neil, Keith Robinson, Jim Norton, Colin Quinn, myself.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: When I say we would sit at this table, we
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: would sit at this table for four to five hours,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: and it would be nothing but beautiful trashings to one
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: another when I say they used to give me so
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: much shit.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: That's probably why so hard to bother me.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Now, the trashs that I took from the age twenty
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: to twenty four and my young comedic career about how
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: awful I was. I had a joke. I had a
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: joke way at the beginning of my career because of
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: the times. Let me preface this. This was way in
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: the beginning of my career. This was a joke that
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: I had about about little people nidgets.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: At the time, and it's you know, it was.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: So bad, dude, as I got robbed by cross eye Nidget,
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: and the joke was I didn't know he was robbing
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: me because I was with somebody else, so he was
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: looking at my friend, but he was robbing me.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: It was like a play on being cryed. It was very,
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: very awful joke.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: I remember telling this joke and a phone book comes
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: flying on the stage. Putatrice through a fucking phone book
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: at me. I'm talking, this is the way the Boston
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Comedy Club. It's people in the crowd. All you heard
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: was and you sit back and hits the floor And
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I said, yo, what the what the fuck was saying that,
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: and Patrice said, read it. It's better material in it
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: than what you're saying now. Crowd starts laughing. He's, uh,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: they all gonna say they used to trash me so bad,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: so bad. Man. Give you a legendary patrisea Neil story.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: I caught Patrice jerking off in my house before this is.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: This is.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: I moved to La. I'm staying in the two bedroom apartment.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: I just got there. Patriots coming out. I said, Yo,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: you need to play sass. I got two bedrooms.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: You can come there. It's my ex wife at the time. Uh,
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: you know, I come home. It's like afternoon.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: I was like, Patrice. I'm like, Yo, you home, Patrace. Patrice,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: I go on in the back, opened up the door.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I said, his big ass computer. All I see is
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: his back hunched over. It's like it's like baby oil
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: right here.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: And I come in. I'm like, what you're doing? He's like, Yo,
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: get out, get out, get out? Are you drinking off
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: of my house?
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: He's so sick. He's so fucking sick that he didn't stop.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: We did, get out, get out, get out.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: He was so concerned with finishing that he didn't even
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: break stride he didn't turn around, ignotised.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: Me, nothing ether get out, get out. You just saw
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: his back hunching. He came out. He came out like
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: seven minutes later. It was like, my bad, I ain't
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: know he was coming home. Didn't even acknowledge it. Fucking
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Patrice man. I love him to death, love him to death.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Of Yeah, he had the most don't give a fuck
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: of at most.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Good and bad though, you know there was there was
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: a good to it and there was also some bad.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: You know, a lot of things that didn't have been
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: for patrees probably could have happened, but I think the
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: level of not give a fuck yeah, prevented some of
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: those things.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Well. He was almost too authentic, Yes, like his like
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: did you ever see that? Was it Charlie Sheen's roast?
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Whose roast was it that he did? Where he just
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: tortured everybody else? And then he got up there and
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: after the motherfucker is on on my level, I shouldn't.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Even be here with you guys. Who the fuck is
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: this man? Who is this bitch?
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, Patrice has so many of those things,
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: so many things. One of one of the best to
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: do it if you if you are listening you're not
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: educated on Patris o' neil. Just I asked you just
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: watch Elvi in the room, one of his specialists. Some
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: of the some of the funniest shit ever man.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: And so insightful. He was so wise, very smart the
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: way people thought and behaved. He would say shit like
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: one of the things that he said that I tell
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: people all the time. It's a brilliant thing that he said.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: It was. I forget what controversy it was, but he
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: was on television with some woman. It was saying that
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: you should never tell jokes about certain things, you know,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: and they were they were getting mad at someone, I
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: think it was Opie and Anthony about a joke. And
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: he said, you got to understand that all jokes come
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: from the same place. The ones you like and the
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: ones you don't like, the ones they make you laugh
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: and the ones that make you mad, they all come
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: from the same place. Someone's just trying to be funny,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: like sometimes they just don't work.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: I had to talk. I had to talk with the
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: I forgot her name. I got I forgot her name.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: But it was when I was doing all the promo
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: upside and they kept trying to break down, you know,
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: where where where the jokes come from? You know, Kevin,
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: the'se insensitive jokes that you told back then? Why what
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: makes you why would you even say those things? And
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: the hardest thing for me to explain, I was like,
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: do you think people think of jokes and while thinking
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: of them, think that they're not going to be funny?
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Everything that you think of in a joke form, you're
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: thinking of it because you think you're going to get
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: a laugh behind it. The gamble is if I get
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: the lab versus not get the laugh. If you don't
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: get the laugh, the joke was not funny. If I
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: get a laugh, then I guess I'm onto something. There
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: isn't a bunch of thought that goes into the funny
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: moments that we think maybe great bits. I wish that
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: I had a more logical answer to put behind it,
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: I said, but I don't, especially at that time in
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: my career. I just thought it would be funny, the
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: same way that some people think certa jokes funning it
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: on front. It's a thought. Comedians are constantly throwing shit
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: out there. You're constantly rolling the dice and throwing shit
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: out there. Have the shit you roll ain't good it's
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: not gonna be good. The other half maybe all right,
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: may be kind of good. But it's all with the
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: intent of entertaining. It's not with the intent of being malicious,
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: it's not with the intent of sparking hatred.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: It's all trying to make you laugh.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Like it's literally that simple, from a thought within a
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: comedian's mind.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: Nothing nothing else. And they kept trying to look for
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: this like hard definition of why, and it's like, I
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: don't have it.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: I don't have the reason why. I thought it would
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: be funny and it wasn't. That's the downfall.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: That's it.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: That's it. It's it's And the thing is about this
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: art form is that up until ten fifteen years ago,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: there was never any discussion like this. It wasn't so
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: when we developed and when we were coming up, there
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: was never it was just like and there was always
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: guys that would push the huvel up. Wait far Jesus Christ,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: you see his new bid? What the fuck?
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: And you'd be laughing. You tell it to each other
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: and be like ah. And it didn't matter what it
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: was a joke about murder or rape or what. Some
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: people just they choose those dark subjects. It's like they're
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: trying to make us laugh in the comedians, the comedians, comedian,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: there's always going to be those were you just about you?
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Oh do you know Brian Holtzman. Brian Holtzman's that guy
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: of my funniest dudes.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: And and and there's no way that I could say
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: some of the stuff that I heard say.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Remember Susan Smith, that lady who drowned her kids.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: I I know, I know who you're talking about, and
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: I know the moment, but I'm not familiar with all
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: all that involved.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Holtzman was on stage that week and he's like, I
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: heard those kids were bad. I heard they sat that
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: close to the TV. They never put away their blocks,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: they were spilt their milk. Those kids will not be missed.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: And you were just like, what the fuck was like?
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Nine eleven? Nine eleven happened?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: They wouldn't let him on stage. Well, Mitzi Shore would
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: not let him on stage for months after nine to eleven.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: She's like, no way, keep him off the stage.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: I can't. I mean, do you have do you have
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: the people that just are that they go for that.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: They go for it because they want to hear you
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: howl in the back of the room. They know that, Like,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: if it's you know, comics are there in the back
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: of the room, they're gonna laugh their fucking assh off
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: at that shit.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: And and you know, it's weird because right now, within
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: the times, I'm I'm the comedian that chooses to be
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: sensitive to the times. You know, I've made the choice
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: to say I understand, I get why you shouldn't say
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: certain things and why you should avoid this that or this.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: I understand and I am.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: But then there's other comedians that go, you know what,
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: I'm on stage and I'm gonna be me, and I'm
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: not gonna do that because people are telling me that
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: this is what I'm gonna go hard and do that.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: That just exists. It just exists. But I think it's
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: easier to just say I'm not a fan, that comedy
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: isn't for me.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: You know what I don't.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: I don't like the taste of this particular comedian, So
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: I'm not going to support or watch that comedian. I'm
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: going to find another comedian there's more to my liking.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: I'm going to go and just turn my head, like
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: I want us to get back to just understanding that
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: you just don't have to support it.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. Well, there's a lot of fucking options.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: It's very I mean, there's so many today, yet there's
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: never been more, never been more comics. I think about
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: how many people are doing Netflix special cyst so many,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: it's never been more.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: It's so many.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: So I don't understand why there's a push to destroy
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: which you just don't have to support her.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Like, I think it's just a bunch of people that
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: have an ability to influence things now that didn't have
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: an ability before, and it's like they see a window
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: and they want to throw rock. It's right, there makes sense.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: I think there's something, But I also think for us,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I mean for me in particular, I really like fucked
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: up comedy. It's one of my It's like I like
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Quentin Tarantino movies where people get shot and killed. I
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: don't want anybody get shot and killed in real life,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: but I like fucked up comedy. Do you know what
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Tim Dillon is? Yes, pull up that fucking video that
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: him being Megan McCain. Have you seen this? No, he
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: is a savage dude. He goes so hard. But I
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: saw this video. I was tears are rolling down my eyes.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I was crying and I was like, Okay, this guy's needed.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: We need this right now because during this political correct push,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: he got this big, giant gay dude who doesn't give
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: a fuck. He's an animal. Watch this ship. My father died,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I had a baby with, and we're going it will
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: be raised in captivity. It'll be raised privately to be
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: the greatest politician that he's ever there. My name is
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Megan McCain and I'm on a news show we have
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: to see and Donald Trump's that fucking riverboat casino captain
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: is talking shit about my father again. My father was
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: tortured for a hundred years for this fucking country, and
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: he came back and he started seven wars because he's
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: a gentleman. Fuck you Trump.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: I'm gonna wear my father's skin mask and I'm gonna
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: primary Trump from the right.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Come on the view, bitch, if you're that tough, come
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: on the view.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: You want an alasade as, You don't desk you want
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: that ship?
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: You wanna fuck he titch Trump? No, you don't. You
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: want to suck cops And I won't fuck you because
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: the only person off fuck is dirty his CRMBS off dirdy.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Before my father died, I had a baby.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Wait a minute, he's an animal.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: He's wearing folks, you don't know. He's wearing lipstick and
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: a wig, and he's smoking a cigarette in a dress,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and he's all of three hundred pounds. He's such a
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: fucking animal. It's such a fucking animal.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: You want to fuck you, You.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Just want to suck fuck you only daddy. Oh my goodness.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Oh that's pretty, Dare, That's pretty.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: It's out there.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: They need that guy, we need him.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: It's out there.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: We need guys like that.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: I mean, the thing of what we're just talking about,
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: what we said, it's like, it's just it's very easy.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: To just to just say, you know what, that's not
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: for me.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I'm fine.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: What it is like, say yes, everybody, everybody's humor is different.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: I laugh, I laugh.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: There's a there's a there's a viral video this uh,
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: this old guy trying to harve a board. He's like, fuck,
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: he's got to be like sixty nine seventy and you know,
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: his grandkids there and he's like, let me, let me
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: try all, let me try it. And this man gets
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: on this hoverboard and takes. If you saw Mike Tyson
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: fall on the hoverboard, his fall was worse than Mike Tyson's.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: I've never seen somebody hit their head harder in my life.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: And I didn't laugh out of wanting to see this
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: old man hurt herself. I laughed because it was stupid
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: to try to get on this hoverboard in the first place.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: And when he got up, he tells the kids, why
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: is it moving like that?
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: I played this video for everybody because that shit made
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: me laugh.
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: Some people were watching it go oh no, no. Some
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: people were watching it go oh whoa oh, and others would.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: Just die fucking laughing because everybody's humors different.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: Yeah, everybody's fucking humor is different. My humor is different.
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: Falling makes me laugh.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: I don't care who's falling makes me laugh. I don't
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: give a shit who you are. If you fall in
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: front of me, no shot, I'm holding it laughing. There's
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: no shot. There's no shot.
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: You don't stand a chance if you fall in front
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: of me.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: There's no shot that I'm not a bust your ass.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: Something.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: Something's got to come out right. Falling is funny. I
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: still think it's hacky. I still think far it a
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: funny When my kids fart, I laugh. I still to
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: this day it's the funnies. Shit efter to me, it
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: goes ou steak, get out of here, steak gass. My
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: little son seventeen months when he far a laugh something
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: something within just the ability to just be fucking silly
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: and stupid. Oh yeah, it doesn't always have to have
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: a meaning behind it.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: Some shit is just stupid.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: My eight year old farts on Q. She thinks it's hilarious.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: Well, that's genius.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: She'll tell you listen, I gotta talk to you about something.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: And she starts laughing. She thinks it's hilarious. She'll fall
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: down the couch. She can't stop laughing.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: I say, in the world, that's we're talking about.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: It's a kid.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: That's all you got. That's your only bit as a kid.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: You got nothing else but farts. That's all you got.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: That's all you got to make people laugh. You should
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: enjoy it. Yeah, it should. I still think it's funny falling,
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: but falling is number one for me. Falling is number one.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: My wife fell down the steps. She got so mad
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: because I didn't rush to help her. I laughed a
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: good She had a wine glass. Wine was all over
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: the walls. Oh my god, one of the worst falls
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: I've ever seen in my damn laugh got up. Her
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: shoe was on one step, the other shoe was all falling.
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: Is funny, I like it.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I don't laugh at falling that much. I just deal
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: with too many injuries. I've seen too many people get hurt.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: It's not for you.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not for me, especially old dudes falling down
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: hitting their head. I'm like, fank, I start thinking about
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: brain trauma and CTE, long term repercussions.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: Last, after the laugh, I'm near.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I'm right there with you. After this is probably better.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: I'm right there with you.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: It's the one that's going on today of this dude
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: trying to come up to ars on this other dude.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Did you see that one? And the guy stumped him
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: and sent him flying. Like, all I could think of is,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: we don't see it in the video, but that guy's
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: head has got to be smitherings. Oh my god, he
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: had to hit his head the way he fell back.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: You have seen one of the guy who slipped and
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: fell down a bunch of steps at the museum and
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: he falls in the water.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: He just keeps going to the goals in the water.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Brilliant, brilliant.
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: You can't you can't beat that.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: There's this dude. This dude's walking up the stairs and
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: this dude's like, get the funk off my porch, stop,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: leave me alone, and he keeps coming. He's like, don't
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: do it, don't do it, and he got boom. The
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: way he fell back, he was no hands behind him.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: That's all head, that's all head.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: First of all, to not see that kick coming from
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: a guy that size, it's sad.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: But you also have to realize a guy that size
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: is carrying all that weight, the equivalent of a donkey
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: kicky get stomped.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: But to not see it once again.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I always thought that about fat people that if you
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: really fat, imagine how strong your fucking legs must be.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: It's just strong at shit. Ever, Yeah, if you really
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: get some power behind that kick.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: And also if you've lost the weight you have these
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: incredible legs, that's that's always a theory. Just what's out of there? Well,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: I always wonder if their knees are gonna shrink weight
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: what because you see someone from behind their like five
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: hundred pounds like their knees are that wide. I'm like, okay,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: is that the bone Like is that fat around the bone?
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Like has the bone grown really wide? Because your body does,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Your bones do get denser if you do like heavy weight,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Like if you look at like powerlifter dudes, they're they're dense.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Part of it is not just their frame, it's that
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: they're constantly lifting heavy things. So your body thickens up.
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: To you as you go.
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: But you know, when when you know people that are
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: larger make the dedication to actually losing the weight and
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: they stay away from like the weights and stuff, and
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: just through cardio it sheds off so fast. Yeah, but
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: they can't Like I know, I know a couple of
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: friends of mine and lost like one hundred and thirty
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: one hundred and forty pounds and like now just falling
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: in love with fitness to the point where it's unbelievable,
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: like how their body is transformed and taking a liking
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: to the new the new process that they're now in.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: They get addicted instead of food, they get addicted to
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: being healthy exactly. It's totally possible, totally possible. I've had
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I don't know how many people come up to me
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: and said they've lost one hundred pounds plus because of
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: listening to my show and having fitness experts on diet
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: experts and just talking about staying the fuck away from sugar. Say,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: don't eat late at night, stop sweating, stop eating at
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: a certain time, and give yourself more than enough time
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: to digest, call your calories, start exercising.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: Well with me, I think the thing with me that
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: helps me so much is I'm not a foodie. You know,
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: I'm not a foodie. Man, I'm just not you know,
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: born guy to go eat with. I'm just making a turn,
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: that's it. I'm literally just what is that?
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: That's fine?
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: Me get that it's baked chicken, some brown ricet.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: You don't worry about eating healthy clean.
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: I'm a healthy eater because I'm not a foodie.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: So it's not like it doesn't it doesn't matter, like
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: I don't have the will or want to eat the
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: bad shit.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: So if you're passing by in and out Burger, nothing, no, nothing.
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: No man, I'm black fried chicken, fried chicken. Now you
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: showed me a pocost. Pope's roscos is good too, but.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Popeye's really pops roscos, Yes, man, Pope's Popa's is fucking
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: I don't know what.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: I don't know what's in that chicken?
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: Better that it's pretty damn good. The spicy damn it?
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: Do you like? The spicy?
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: Spicy? Set my ass on fire? But I'm still gonna
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: do it. Yeah, I'm still gonna do it.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: But I'm just not I I can consistently eat the
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: same thing and be fine.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: How was Papa is the only one who figured out
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: that red beans and rice is a great thing to
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: have on the side. No one else has it.
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: It's the best thing ever, you know what I mean?
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Why doesn't Burger King or McDonald's. Po Pae's red beans
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: and rice pot.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Pae's is so good, so good that when I was younger,
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: I was about twenty two, I was on the bike.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: I got hit by a car right, not too hard
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: to where I was damaged. But I had pop Pease
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: in my hand like the bag. I was riding on
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: my bike and holding it one hand. Bop got hit.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Never let go of the bag. That's how good po
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Pase is. The bike everything else boom, I'm there, Popas
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: held on to it. Nothing was damaged. Still took a
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: home finished that meal. That's how good Papas is. So
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: that's my cheat. My cheat is Popa's all day. Other
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: than that, I'm gonna consistent either. I'm a healthy guy.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: So do you take vitamins or supplements or anything.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: I used to take multi vitamins, which inspired me to
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: start doing my own Like right now, we got Vita Courts, Yes,
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: we got, we got I'm gonna start my own supplement line,
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: Vita Hustle, the lovety vitamin that we.
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: Were putting out.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: But let me tell you why though, I'm gonna tell
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: you why I'm even getting into this space. So when
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: I look at physical fitness and I look at this world,
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: I noticed.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: That, you know, you.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: Have a great want in need to look like everything
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: around you that you see, like everybody, like everybody that's
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: a part of this world. They look so fucking great
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: and fit when they're talking about these products and the
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: things that they can do.
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: And I said, you know what I'm able to.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: Do and what I've done in my past, I'm always
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: bringing people together of all like in whole, like there
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: is nobody's alienated. You know, when I did my runs
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: with Nike and before I got signed by Nike. It
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: was about bringing a bunch of people that never ran
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: before and getting you guys to get up, Just come
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: run with me, just try it.
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: And you notice I got people out there never thought
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: they would fucking do it.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: And we're doing five miles, we're doing ten miles whatever,
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: just a group run something to say we did. I said,
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: how can I create a product where I'm putting people
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: in a position to understand there's a hustle in all
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: of us. That's what my MOSTI vitamin is about. It's
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: the energy, It's the recharge, it's the ability to focus,
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: is to approach your day with all of the tools
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: that you basically need. It's not just about the physical
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: fitness aspect, it's about the health. So if I can
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: actually motivate people to take the step in the right
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: direction of health with a line of supplements that are
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: driven for the everyday individual that may not know or
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: be aware, but once to engage. But you're not in
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: it to look like all these different people.
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: You're in it to be the best version of yourself.
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: How can I do that?
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: Team that up with a great group of people to
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: create the best possible products that I want to do,
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: and I said, I want to be patient. So it
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: took me four years, four years to create Vita Hustle.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: And how many different products you know right now?
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: Just vitas Vita Hustle is my only one right now.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: So it's just a vitam just a multivitamin.
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: But it's an amazing multivitamin.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Is it a single pill or is it a packet?
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: No, it's it's a jar. I should have fucking bought one.
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: Good job, jar, Jesus Christ, So mix it. No, it's
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: a jar full of like pills, yes, pills. Okay, I'm
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: telling the dope stuff that's in it because I don't
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: want to not say anything and have it to where
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: it's wrong.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: So I always he's got up on the screen. Man.
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: Look how good is he?
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: Jesus Christ. I get it?
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: Man, Hey, you I see it. That's why you hear
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: doing the same thing on my phone.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Blueberry Fruit extra. Scroll back up there, boron biotin beta carot.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: It's all good ship.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: It's all good ship. It's more than a multi vitamin.
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: It's good.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: What is that stuff? Toco trend vitamin family? You ever
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: heard of that?
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: Jim?
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: Look it up?
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: Look it up.
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: The good thing too, is that everything that's in it,
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: you know, it's not only is it researchable, but you'll
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: see why. Like my biggest thing, like as a guy
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: that's not as familiar with the space, I said, who
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: are the people that are that do it at a
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: high level that I can incorporate into helping me build
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: this product. So I feel like, you're never going to
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: do it by yourself. You shouldn't try to do it
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: by yourself. And you don't cut corners, you don't go
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: to cheap route, you don't, you don't do it wrong.
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: So then you have to go back and do it again.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: So I went and I looked at the people that
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: were involved with creating the quote unquote best markets, the
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: best things on the market, and I put that team together,
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: put up a team in like four to five. And
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: when I tell you four years, I spent a lot
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: of money developing the shit because it wasn't right in
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: the beginning. Had to go back, had to do it again,
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: wasn't right, had to go back, found out the other
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: things that made other things better, other things great. Had
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: to go right, Go get it again, go try it,
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: go do it again.
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: Not right? What else is out there? What do we
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: compare it to?
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: Until I felt that now when I launch, there's going
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: to be a place for my product in the market
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: where people will understand that it's exactly what I said
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: it was lying. There is no you know, false presentation
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: behind the product. Kevin Hart's multiviem is much more than
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: multi vitamin, but more importantly, it's something for everybody. And
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: more importantly, it's to spark the hustle within all of us.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: And this is the first. There will be more, but
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: it will be after I've mastered and I've done this
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: at the highest.
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: Level that I moved to product number two. Then I
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: moved to product number three.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: Before you know it.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: You want to see a fucking whole line that Kevin
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: Hart is slowly developed and that people can actually believe in.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: Because I'm gonna be a product of my own product.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: That's the best thing in the world. When you're a
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: product of your product, it has to work for me
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: before I say it's gonna work for everybody else.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: So you take this stuff, you God damn right, I
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: take it? How long you'm been taking it?
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: I spent all this fucking money, all I better take it.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: I've been taking the one that's launching now for about
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: five to six months. Nice, I've been taking this one.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: I'm very happy because I actually feel the difference. And
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: the difference is just in the energy that you have
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: within to day. It's not an energy fucking pill, but
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: I do feel a difference in my ability to last
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: throughout my day. Like I'm I do a lot, man,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: I do a fucking lot. So I told you I'm
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: starting at that five five thirty and I'm not shutting
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: down till at nine to ten.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I saw a video once where you were taking a
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: video of your your trainer passed out. Yeah, and you're
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: like this lifestyles for.
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: Everybody, everybody, everybody around. Very unattractive sleeper, by the way,
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: it shouts out to Boss Ronald every line. One of
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: the worst sleepers.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: You'll ever see. So you take him with you everywhere. Yeah,
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: my train is with me everywhere. Wow, everywhere. So you
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: train every day every day?
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: Wow, every day. Sundays are light days. Light cardio maintenance
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: is what we call it. Uh, not doing the same
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: thing all the time.
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: We switch it up. Love switching it up.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: Love finding new things within fitness to make it fun.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: You never want to get bored within it.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: So your your whole purpose is just to keep your
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: vitality up, keep your energy up, just to keep it.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: If I don't do it, then there's a lag. I
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: need to train. I need to do it because I'm
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: mentally so investing in it now that when I don't
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: do it, I feel like I've cheated myself in a
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: day or a week that I've taken off, I feel like, yo, man,
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: I'm not myself because when I am doing it, I
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: feel like I'm always I'm committed, committed to constantly building
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: and reshaping and molding.
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: I'm working on me. So when I'm not working on.
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: Me, I don't feel like my day that's supposed to
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: be about me. It's starting off with the biggest bang.
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: This is my advantage to starting off like nobody else.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: My day starts off before fucking worms and birds get up.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: We're time to get up five five and that's when
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: you start working out.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: At gym five fifteen five five fifteen five twenty.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: No food. I don't eat.
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: I don't eat before workout.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not an eat it before I work out,
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: never have been though what I am now because I'm
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: getting older, I'm more conscious of my body.
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: So I'm big with sports massages.
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: I'm big with you know, making sure that I'm not
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: putting myself in a position to get injured and overwork,
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: so getting stretched, you know, trying to to do as
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: much movement.
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: That as I possibly can.
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: Like when I say I'm a little walking muscle, I
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: really am. So my flexibility is limited. So right now
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: that's my biggest focus. So I'm about to start yoga,
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: trying to do that things that can just kind of
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: keep me in a position to to not tighten up
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: so I don't pull anything because I do so much.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: You're gonna do hot yoga yoga, Yeah, YOA do that
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: all the time. Love it amazing, do it every week.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: The only thing that's kept me from doing it is
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: the smell that's possibly in there. That's the only thing
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: that's kept me.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: Out of it.
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: I was like, you gotta move past that.
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I hear it get pretty bad.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: So sometimes it can. I heard. The place I go
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: to is nice. You just gotta make sure that the
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: people take care of themselves. You're going to be around
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: smelling people.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: I'll be honest with you. I'm worried about myself. I
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: don't know what I'm gonna give.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: Especially if you get there early in the morning. You know,
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: eat you won't worry about farting. Yeah, but the people
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: that eat breakfast they're going there are letting off and
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: everything explained that the killer Mike, he was talking to
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: me about farting and yoga class. Oh my god, I
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: can't be eating. No, I can't be eating before that.
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: How early are you going?
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: I like to go either six am, which is rare
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: most of the time, eight eight, eight thirty depends on
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: where which place I go to to. But you love
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: it though, Yeah, I love it. It's great for your
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: head too. It's ninety minutes of suffering. You know. It's
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: hot as fucking one hundred and five degrees one hundred
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: and fury degrees. When you get out of there, you
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: feel like you did something. You feel like yeah, and
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: it just changes the way your body feels too, in
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: terms of your range of motion, your flexibility, all those
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: weird connecting knots and everything just get opened up.
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: And my question is when you when you're just starting though,
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: like like I will be, is it extremely tough in
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: the beginning.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: Because you just just gotta bring a lot of ice water.
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: Just bring a big old fucking sixty four ounce one
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: of those, uh you know, thermal flasks of ice water.
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: Make sure you have enough water and drink enough water
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: before it.
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: I'm telling to put me in the back. Yeah, when
- 1:35:21Speaker 2: I'm starting out, I don't need to be where people
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: can see me. Just where did they got? Like a
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: section in the back.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but you turn left and you turn right, Everyone's
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: gonna see you.
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:35:29Speaker 2: Can I be in a place where they don't see
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: me in the beginning, Like, I don't want anybody to
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: see You're athletic.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: Man, You're gonna be fine. You're gonna be tight. It's
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: gonna be difficult for you to pull off certain poses,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: but you'll be fine.
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: I'm definitely gonna do it.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: I'm definitely realize it's a challenge.
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: I'm definitely one to try.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: You ever fun with jujitsu?
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: No, that's next, Yeah, that's next.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: I want to hear that.
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: That's next. Just just down here, listen.
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: This is where Rico was laughing, because I say, yo, man,
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: don't laugh on the tabe is. I've never thrown a kick.
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: I said, so whatever you show me right now, it'll
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: be my first time doing it.
- 1:36:02Speaker 3: I don't I don't kick. I don't know how to
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: kick right.
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: So whatever you show me this is, this will be
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: me processing it for the first time. And that day
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: we did it. We worked on it, and I think
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: I threw a couple good kicks, a couple of good
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: front kicks, and I said, I said, look, after I'm
- 1:36:16Speaker 2: done with boxing, I said, this will be my next
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: task to learn how to properly throw some kicks.
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: And to move with my bottom half. Now that I've
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: worked on my top, that's my next hobby.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: That's your next hobby, you know. Jiu jitsu is like,
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: that's the tuling, and that's what we're talking about. You
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: want to do that too.
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: I'm just this stuff. As you get older, you have
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: to find ship to do. Right, If you don't find
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: shit to do, you're gonna lose your mind.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: You would get addicted to that. I just want to
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: learn shit. You would like it because there's so much
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: to learn. That's the thing about it. It's a long, long.
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: Never ending, never ending, never ending journey of ship.
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: And there's also there's so many different variations of each
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: different individual move and entries into new moves and defense,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: and then the structure of it is it gets so crazy,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: it's it's super complicated.
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: My son, my son does my son is heavy into
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: boxing and karate. I got him into those, so he
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: he does them both. So the reason why I want
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: to do I just like to keep up with him
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: so we can, you know, do things together. I have
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: trainers come to the house and we'll work out together.
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: He loves it, so I just don't want to get
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: left behind, so I can't do it. I don't want that,
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: you know when he gets seventeen eighteen, which you say.
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: That, hold on, well, yeah, you don't want that.
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: We better back up when he start getting that much confidence.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: I just want to be able to keep up and maintain.
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: So that's why I like to do it with them.
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: What's good for a kid to have them in your
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: head is confidence.
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: Confidence. You need that for confidence.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: It'll help you avoid things too well.
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: I tell my kids, you know, your last name puts
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: a target on your back that you didn't ask for.
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: And we don't go and create problems, but you should
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: always be prepared for problems if they were to occur,
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: and if they do I just want you guys to
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: know how to defend yourself. So the things that I
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: have my kids doing is just have the knowledge and understanding.
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: The worst thing is just not knowing. You know, they're
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: growing up completely different than I grew up. Where I
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: grew up, you had no choice but to know. If
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: you ain't know how to fight, that's your ass because
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: you're gonna get tested, there's no way around it. You're
- 1:38:25Speaker 2: gonna get tried, you're gonna get robbed, you're gonna get
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: your book bag taken, somebody gonna try to take your
- 1:38:30Speaker 2: sneaks like it's the reality.
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: It's not a false reality, that's real.
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: So if you're not prepared for it, if you don't
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: have any type of heart, you won't last. From where
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: I grew up, heart was everything, and heart was sometimes
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: saying I don't care if I get my ass, well,
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: I'm not gonna be a bitch. I'm not gonna I'm
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: not gonna allow y'all to think that this can happen.
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: So I'm gonna lose today, but tomorrow I'm gonna come
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: pack and I'm gonna find you.
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk.
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: Whatever that moment was, it was about establishing any level
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: of respect that you could and have respect eventually turned
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: into friendship from all. So my kids don't know what
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: that world is like. They're never going to have it.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: So as a parent, I just have to make sure
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: that you have all the tools that I can possibly
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: equip you with, because my parents didn't have the ability
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: to provide me with that. They weren't in a financial
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: space to take me here and have this actually curricul activity,
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: this actually curricular activity and learn this or learn that
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: didn't exists.
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: That is the big conundrum of successful people. When successful
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: people have kids, what made them successful is dry And
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: I grew up poor too. We were on welfare and
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: food stamps, the whole deal when I was a little kid,
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: and that always stuck in my head, this thought like
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: we might not have enough food. Like I remember thinking
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: that when I was little, what if we don't have
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: any food? What if we run out of food? My
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: kids will never feel that. They don't understand what that is.
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: And everybody that I've ever met that's interesting came from
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: some crazy struggle when they were young. Yeah, and that's
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: the thing of you and I and most people that
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: are doing well in life. You're raising your kids in
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: a completely different way than literally what brought you to
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: the dance, and the first with the hunger of not
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: being one of those people that's left behind is what
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: makes you successful in the first place.
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: And it's scary.
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: It's scary because you know, my wife, My wife told me,
- 1:40:22Speaker 2: she was like, you know, I love that you're not
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: hard on your kids, but you always make sure there's
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: a lesson within your conversation, like I don't yell.
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: I don't yell at my kids.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: Nothing's going to register when I'm yelling, So I try
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: my best to talk to you, even when I'm at
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: my angriest. I'm gonna talk to you so you can
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: process this, because you need to understand what's the problem.
- 1:40:43Speaker 3: You need to understand what's wrong.
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: And what I had to really realize is they didn't
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: ask to be born into this, you know what I mean, Like,
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: it's not their fault that they're coming up completely different
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: than how we were raised. And we have anger or
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: frustration that's dedicated and thrown towards them because they got
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: it so much better than what we had. How do
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: we make sure that we pass down to proper lessons
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: so that they appreciate and understand and not take for
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: granted what they have for me. It's tough because I
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: got good kids, the good students. They apply themselves in school,
- 1:41:23Speaker 2: they listen, they don't do dumb shit. Yeah, they want
- 1:41:28Speaker 2: to play video games and stay up like any other kid.
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: There's no signs of bad or crazy, And the fear
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: and panic is that you gotta know that bad and
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: crazy exists.
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: This fairy tale that we're in isn't real.
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: And at some point, when I'm not around, when your
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: mother's not around, when you have friends or other family
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: are around, you may get tested with the other side
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: that's out here that you've never seen.
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: Brian.
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: So I gotta prepare you for the ship that you
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: don't know exists. I gotta take you.
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: To Philadelphia so you can see.
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: I try to show my kids where I grew up,
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: thinking it's going to be like a Oh my goodness backfired.
- 1:42:14Speaker 3: It's so cool. Can we live here?
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: Shut up?
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: You talking about goodness?
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: Car?
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: Everybody hit a car right now, everybody. We're talking about
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: this when we get back. This is not the way
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: I supposed.
- 1:42:24Speaker 3: To Oh my god, so cool, Dad, It's so different.
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, walked them around the neighborhood, and it's like,
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: it's it's it's not a reality.
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: You didn't have grass. Goodness, Dad, would you play when
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: you hear?
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: When you hear these things, it's so different, man, these
- 1:42:47Speaker 2: were your steps.
- 1:42:48Speaker 3: The steps are broken. How did you even play?
- 1:42:52Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: My god? Dad?
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: So wait, where was yours? We lived on the top floor,
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: not the whole thing. No, this is three separate units.
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: So the top floor was me and grandmoms, the middle
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: that was somebody else. That was a neighbor in downstairs
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: with somebody else. Three different people lived in this one
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: thing together. Y'all are strangers. Hey, shut up, everybody, my
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: own answers to everybody in the car.
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: Get in a car.
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: I don't know what to do.
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: I don't know what to say at this part. Get
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: right in the car.
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: But when you see that, that's the reality that you
- 1:43:26Speaker 2: get hit with of. I gotta make sure that I'm talking.
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: I gotta make sure that I'm constantly teaching. If I'm not,
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: then I'm not doing my part. I'm failing, you know.
- 1:43:37Speaker 2: Took them to the neighborhood and showed them how stores
- 1:43:40Speaker 2: are in the neighborhood. It's where we got candy from.
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: Here's where we would get little sandwiches from.
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: Y'all walk.
- 1:43:46Speaker 2: We don't have no stores like this. We can't walk
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: to stuff. It's a completely different world. It's a completely
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: different world. See people standing on the street corners. What
- 1:43:57Speaker 2: they doing there? Would they selling drugs? That's tough right there.
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: Those are people that your dad still knows, they've been
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: there forever. That's what you don't want to do, but
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: they're forced with these decisions just because of what.
- 1:44:10Speaker 3: They have to do. You just need to see this.
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: Dad is taking you here to see this.
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: Drove them all around, all around North Philadelphia, all around
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: South Philadelphia. Made sure that they can see it. You
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: got to physically see. We go out the country, we
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: go to these resorts and islands.
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: Before we go there, we're gonna drive around.
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: So you can see what exists before you get to this.
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: This is why we have to be good people. This
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: is why we treat everybody with respect. This is why
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: your dad likes to give everybody doesn't have. I'm constantly
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: beating my kids with that information because if you assume
- 1:44:48Speaker 2: that everybody does, you come off like such an asshole.
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: When you're around people that don't, Yeah, how did you?
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: You don't Also, the advantage that they had growing up
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: the way they are now, it's such a rare thing
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: and they don't understand it. There's the way they very.
- 1:45:05Speaker 2: Small percentage, very small percentage, and that's something that I
- 1:45:09Speaker 2: never want to let go of either. So I was
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: in the back of my head or how you're talking
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: about how you know, are we going to have enough food?
- 1:45:15Speaker 2: When you were coming up. Chris Rock's joke is so
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: great that he used to tell about how he keeps
- 1:45:20Speaker 2: a bag packed at the front door because he don't.
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: Believe that this shit is his.
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: He said, I truly believe that at any point somebody
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: gonna go, gotcha. You thought you lived here? This is joy?
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: And I was like, it's so real because even though
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: you have it, you can't lose the sight a reality
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: of what he once was.
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: Do you are you comfortable where you are now or
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: do you still have those thoughts like this is this real?
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: Because you're you're at this stratosphere of fame and success.
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: That's it's rare amongst the rare, you know. It's like
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: David Goggin says, you are uncommon amongst uncommon men.
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: I will be one hundred percent honest and say I'm comfortable.
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: With the understanding of hard work brings great rewards. This
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: is a reminder of the hard work and dedication that
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: I put into everything that I've done. I'm not content
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: because I know where I came from, and I don't
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: ever want to go back. That doesn't mean I don't
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: want to go back to the city. That doesn't mean
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: I want to go back to the people. That means
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: I don't want to go back to living like I
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: once was. I want to go back and I want
- 1:46:44Speaker 2: to help.
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: I want to.
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: Inspire, I want to motivate.
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: I want to show people that there is a way out,
- 1:46:48Speaker 2: that there is a way to do more, to get more,
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: to obtain more. But I personally don't want to lose
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: all that I've been able to get, so I need
- 1:46:59Speaker 2: to make sure that I do everything to keep it.
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: So I can't be content.
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: So there is an understanding, but I refuse to click
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: on the switch of.
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: So even if you like, even if you have more
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: money than you'll ever spend for the rest of your life,
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: that's not what it's about. No, It's about the inspiring
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: people and the influence and constantly giving back and moving
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: forward in a positive way. And the only way you
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: can do that is a stay actor.
- 1:47:31Speaker 3: It's the story man.
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, we're we're we're all writing a book.
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: What's your book look like? What does your fucking book
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: look like like? Your your life is a book. You
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: got a bunch of chapters in your book. But when
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: they close that book, how good was the book? How
- 1:47:52Speaker 2: good was your book? What was the ending to your book?
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: If the ending to my book can be so amazing
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: because of all that was done, not the money, all
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: that was accomplished, the first to do the man that
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: did this, he calls the merger between this because of
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: his commitment and growth to this.
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: The communities were then given.
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: This made education, This changed the way the schooling was
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: blah blah blah. Gave books, gave computers, gave all of
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: the things that can be associated with you, and your
- 1:48:27Speaker 2: existence become a part of the chapters in your book.
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: So my drive is about my book. I was a
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: New York Times number one bestseller. People will be done.
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: They did it writing another book.
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: Right now?
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: Yeah, what's it happened? What happens if you are two
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: times New York Times number one bestseller if you get
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: the two? What happens if you get the three?
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: Hey man?
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: How the books become successful? Who publishes them? I want
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: to start a publishing company, heart be publishing?
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: Why not? That's the thing.
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: All I'm doing is sparking the awareness and others to go.
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: Why not?
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: Why can't I create? Why can't I start? Why can't
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: I be a business? Why can't I be a CEO?
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: Why can't I be a tech guru? Why can't I
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: fucking create cooking products? Lotion sense?
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: There's so much that some people just don't understand they
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: can do.
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: Let me be a spark to show how much, how
- 1:49:29Speaker 2: many different that you don't have to do just one thing.
- 1:49:31Speaker 2: When it's all said and done, my book is gonna
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: be full of all the shit that Kevin Hart.
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: Did because I never was content with doing just one,
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: two or three? Why not? Kevin? Why are you creating
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: fucking health and wellness products? Why not? I'm big on
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: health and wellness?
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: Why can't I Why can't I try to create something
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: that I feel is fucking great and jump into a
- 1:49:58Speaker 2: space that I'm already in. I already give one hundred
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: percent of me in this space why not. Why can't
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: I talk about financial wealth? Why can't I.
- 1:50:09Speaker 3: Go back and educate those that don't know? Why not?
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: You don't got the time? I make time?
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: Well, you certainly can, but it's just so unusual someone
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: dedicates that much energy and time to giving back and
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: getting involved with the kind of projects that you're talking about,
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: as well as be super ambitious with your own career.
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: It makes me happy, Yeah, I could tell.
- 1:50:30Speaker 2: I'm genuinely happy. Discovery makes me happy, like when you
- 1:50:36Speaker 2: find different things to be excited about. It makes me happy.
- 1:50:41Speaker 2: And it's weird when it clicks and school days to
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: tell you all the time, information is key. Read these books.
- 1:50:47Speaker 2: There's so much knowledgey man, fuck that book. Got time
- 1:50:51Speaker 2: to read that book?
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: I want to go home.
- 1:50:53Speaker 2: Goddamn signing the Hedgehog. I want to play. I'm at
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: level three. I ain't got time to read this book.
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: The information and stuff that was forced down your throat
- 1:51:02Speaker 2: at a certain age, you just may not be receiving
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: it correctly. But then it clicks and you may gain
- 1:51:10Speaker 2: information differently, and what you do with that information.
- 1:51:13Speaker 3: Is up to you.
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: But people people have different roles and they can go
- 1:51:17Speaker 2: down the education wasn't my pick of choice.
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: It didn't do it for me.
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: But the knowledge and the common sense that I have
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: naturally allowed me to gain information apply it differently. It
- 1:51:33Speaker 2: allowed me to grow smart in so many different avenues
- 1:51:37Speaker 2: to where I said, oh my god, I found my niche,
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: I found my talent, and now there's other things that
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: my talent can take me to. I don't have all
- 1:51:46Speaker 2: the knowledge and awareness, but I can allow myself for
- 1:51:49Speaker 2: people to do that can teach me because now guess what,
- 1:51:52Speaker 2: learning is cool?
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's what happens to me. You don't have
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: to do it anymore, right, it's your kid. They force
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: you into this school, don't want to learn. But then
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: when you get out and you realize, like, oh, this
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: actually benefits mate. This makes me a better person. It's
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: making me wiser.
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: It's one hundred percent through reality, and it's weird how
- 1:52:11Speaker 2: it happens. But when you go, oh my god, learning
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: and knowledge is power.
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: Fuck.
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: They used to tell me this when I was ten,
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: and you're like, what, yes, ten eleven years old. I
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: heard that shit all the time. Now I finally get it.
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: Damn I'm about to be forty.
- 1:52:29Speaker 3: It took me all this time to get the goddamn code.
- 1:52:33Speaker 3: But I got it.
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it hits you at a different time, and when
- 1:52:37Speaker 2: it does, be excited about it.
- 1:52:39Speaker 3: Man, you excited.
- 1:52:41Speaker 2: I'm excited about with fifty is I'm just now getting
- 1:52:45Speaker 2: a forty.
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: Do you read books?
- 1:52:47Speaker 3: I don't read a lot of books.
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: Do you listen to books on tape?
- 1:52:51Speaker 3: I have listened to books. You know what I listened to?
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: What Tony Robinson? He's great.
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: Tony's a I like. I like his approach to giving information.
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: I like his attitude in general. I like podcasts. I
- 1:53:10Speaker 2: like things that are real and that are presented in
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: front of me. I like information that I can go
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: to the source and touch and talk. So if I'm
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: reading a book, it's a book that was recommended by
- 1:53:24Speaker 2: such and such a personally gave it to me, And
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: after reading that book, I learned more about the individual
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: that I thought I already knew, and now I gain more.
- 1:53:32Speaker 2: Michelle Obama's book, great book, Great fucking book. I met her,
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: I talked to her. I've been in the same rooms.
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: I've seen her success. What is her book gonna be about?
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: Or read a book? Wow?
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: I get it, I get why it's moving all the
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: units that it's moving. I get while women are reading
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: this book and walking away feeling better, feeling like they can't.
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: I get it. Oh wow, h certain friends.
- 1:54:06Speaker 2: Dwayne Wade wrote a book focused on being a father,
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: his road to becoming a better father, what he went
- 1:54:12Speaker 2: through with his kid's mother, how he developed a relationship
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: in the bond with his son's like nobody else, Wow,
- 1:54:20Speaker 2: didn't know that day.
- 1:54:21Speaker 3: That's dope.
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: I love how you put it on page. There's certain
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: things that you just want to know. Certain books help
- 1:54:30Speaker 2: I understand why people read books. I get what the
- 1:54:34Speaker 2: information does you know? The book that I'm working on
- 1:54:38Speaker 2: now is all about the mental approach that you have
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: with life and people not understanding that your biggest enemy
- 1:54:49Speaker 2: is you. My whole book is about you battling yourself.
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: People don't understand you, against you. The only person that
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: gets in your way is you.
- 1:54:59Speaker 3: Nobody else, it's you.
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: Now, when you write a book like this, and especially
- 1:55:04Speaker 1: about something like this, this is like the way you've
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: managed to navigate through life? Do you do you write
- 1:55:10Speaker 1: it out in essays? Do you do you do? You
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: have like bullet points that you you think about, and
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: then once you have those bullet points you have, then
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: you write on those. How do you do it? You
- 1:55:21Speaker 1: keep it on your phone.
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: It's all all voice notes and transcripts.
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: Okay, So because of your.
- 1:55:29Speaker 2: Time you don't have, you don't have the time to
- 1:55:34Speaker 2: sit and actually write. So you need somebody that you
- 1:55:38Speaker 2: can talk to for hours hours hours on it. Hey, hey,
- 1:55:45Speaker 2: I need an hour, but I got an hour for me.
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: I got some stuff I want to talk to you about, keV.
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: What what's that all?
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:55:51Speaker 2: Book title, ideas, subtitle, ideas, my dedications, my introductions, within
- 1:55:56Speaker 2: my introductions. These are all powerful power. The things that
- 1:56:00Speaker 2: I've just said that are now transcript I get to
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: go back and read it. Let me see here, there's
- 1:56:07Speaker 2: no conversation at all.
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: I read one of them.
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: No conversation at all. And that's what the Internet has
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: allowed people to do. The Internet has allowed people to
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: skip steps one through thirty, has allow people to jump
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: straight to one hundred. Fuck you put a job off,
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: take them down. You should be dead. Oh god, fucking
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: can't stand this. Whatever. The hate of the anger is
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: when listen, When listen, Okay, when I listen and I
- 1:56:32Speaker 2: can change, I'm not that guy. We're doing these weird
- 1:56:35Speaker 2: things now that people aren't taking the time to sit
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: and think through. What I've understood is that what people
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: are doing has nothing to do with me. I should
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: always be a step ahead because I'm thinking differently, because
- 1:56:49Speaker 2: I'm thinking about myself. Making myself better puts me in
- 1:56:53Speaker 2: a position to make others better.
- 1:56:56Speaker 3: Be the example, not the problem.
- 1:56:58Speaker 2: The best way to take away the problem is to
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: alienate yourself from it.
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: These are this is just thoughts. It's thoughts. I can
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: go through and just read it.
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: This is a so you just have these philosophies the
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: life and you just just speak it. Just speak it. Damn.
- 1:57:16Speaker 3: So now this is all transcript. Look as long as
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: says that's incredible, it's all fucking transcript.
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: This is all so I just go back throughout the
- 1:57:23Speaker 2: day and I read it and I say, this is great,
- 1:57:25Speaker 2: this makes sense. This didn't let me reword this. Let
- 1:57:28Speaker 2: me make sure that it's all flowing together. And at
- 1:57:31Speaker 2: the end of the day, what's my reason for the book.
- 1:57:34Speaker 2: My reason for the book is to make people better.
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: My reason for the book is to make people understand. Yo,
- 1:57:40Speaker 2: we all are great. We all should think that we're great.
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: There's no reason for you to not think that you're great.
- 1:57:47Speaker 2: If you don't think you're great, ask yourself, why why
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: don't you think the highest of yourself? When you do,
- 1:57:55Speaker 2: people have no You have no choice but to follow suit.
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: M You have no choice but the final suit.
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: A lot of people that base it on their past,
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: they base it on the life that they've experienced up
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: until this moment. Makes you better, Yeah, it does make
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: you better, makes.
- 1:58:08Speaker 3: You better, makes you smarter.
- 1:58:10Speaker 1: Yeah, like you say it. Yeah, man, that's what's interesting
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: about it. That's what's interesting about life. You can hear
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: a guy like you say that, and then it changes
- 1:58:17Speaker 1: your perspective, and then you'll go out and take action
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: that you might not have taken before.
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: I got a five eighty five on my SAT confessions.
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: I didn't even take my confessions.
- 1:58:27Speaker 3: They give you four hundred for putting your name on
- 1:58:28Speaker 3: the paper. It's true story.
- 1:58:30Speaker 2: Wow, I guessed aba c A d A. I did
- 1:58:32Speaker 2: abacadaba all the way down. It's a true story. I
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: swear to guy hand on my mother's grave, Aba c
- 1:58:39Speaker 2: A d A all the way down. I didn't care
- 1:58:42Speaker 2: because there was a class trip that saved day. I
- 1:58:44Speaker 2: wanted to go great Adventure. I was told that not
- 1:58:48Speaker 2: taking my sat seriously but prohibit me from furthering myself
- 1:58:54Speaker 2: in life, I said, I was told. At the moment,
- 1:58:57Speaker 2: I said, Damn, maybe I should have. Maybe I should
- 1:59:00Speaker 2: have applied myself. Maybe I should have did different. When
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: I saw all my friends get their test scores back
- 1:59:04Speaker 2: and they were static eight hundreds, nine hundreds, nine sixties
- 1:59:08Speaker 2: everybody's going to college, felt out the biggest idiot in
- 1:59:10Speaker 2: the fucking world, the biggest idiot in the fucking world.
- 1:59:13Speaker 3: Because the same people that I went and rush to
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: go to Great Adventure.
- 1:59:15Speaker 2: With, they had taken the essayt the week before, They
- 1:59:18Speaker 2: already got their work done, They did everything they were
- 1:59:21Speaker 2: supposed to do, so that moment of fun was real
- 1:59:23Speaker 2: fun for them. I was the only dumb ass that
- 1:59:26Speaker 2: didn't prioritize and take care of my shit.
- 1:59:29Speaker 3: So I'm the only one going to community college.
- 1:59:32Speaker 2: Everybody's else off the Villa Nova Temple University, Drexel University.
- 1:59:36Speaker 2: God damn, I just got left behind. Why didn't y'all
- 1:59:41Speaker 2: tell me that y'all did it the week before? How
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: come y'all ain't telling me that we was serious about
- 1:59:46Speaker 2: the college shit? Y'all ain't tell me y'all was trying
- 1:59:48Speaker 2: to go to Temple or Drexel.
- 1:59:50Speaker 1: All.
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: Wait, it's because my life isn't their life. They're focused
- 1:59:57Speaker 2: on themselves.
- 2:00:00Speaker 3: Wow, they're doing.
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: What they're supposed to do.
- 2:00:03Speaker 2: Hey, jackass, go sit by yourself and figure it out,
- 2:00:06Speaker 2: because this is where you should be lesson learned. Any
- 2:00:10Speaker 2: opportunity given should be taken serious from this point on,
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: because if not, you can find yourself feeling just like this.
- 2:00:17Speaker 3: So I got to get down on myself for the
- 2:00:18Speaker 3: fucking moment. I learned from it. I learned from it.
- 2:00:23Speaker 2: Now, if I gotta take a goddamn test, you best
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: believe I'm studying for that test because I don't want
- 2:00:27Speaker 2: the feeling like I'm the guy that didn't prepare. Now,
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: I got a story to tell my kids about what
- 2:00:33Speaker 2: it feels like to be the kid in class that
- 2:00:35Speaker 2: didn't prepare, that's got the worst grade when they give
- 2:00:37Speaker 2: all those grades back. But it's because of my experience.
- 2:00:41Speaker 2: I don't look down on those moments. You take those moments,
- 2:00:44Speaker 2: you make the best of them, because they're life lessons.
- 2:00:46Speaker 3: It's that simple. You're saying it's positive, but it's really
- 2:00:50Speaker 3: just simplicity. That's real.
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: It's real, it's real, and it's your life experience and
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: it's your life's lessons. But the fact that a guy
- 2:00:59Speaker 1: like you out and talks about it like that, that's
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: where it makes it really powerful, because it's not just
- 2:01:03Speaker 1: something that you learn from, but now other people can
- 2:01:06Speaker 1: learn from your past too. That's what I'm hoping they
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: look at themselves and they realize, like we all start
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: from a different spot.
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: You're not the same. Yeah, this is why I'm so candid.
- 2:01:18Speaker 2: I'm so candid.
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: I'm so open.
- 2:01:20Speaker 2: There there is no like guys. I'm fine with being
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: an open book. I'm fine with the good, the bad,
- 2:01:29Speaker 2: the ugly. I'm fine being flawed. I'm fine with all
- 2:01:33Speaker 2: the things that have happened to me, that have been exposed.
- 2:01:36Speaker 3: I'm fine with it all.
- 2:01:39Speaker 2: I don't hide from it, I don't run from it,
- 2:01:42Speaker 2: don't I don't avoid any of it.
- 2:01:45Speaker 3: I'm fine.
- 2:01:47Speaker 1: It's all right.
- 2:01:49Speaker 3: It's a bed that I made for myself.
- 2:01:50Speaker 2: I happily lay in it, and I'll be fine figuring
- 2:01:54Speaker 2: it out moving forward. Sun don't stop for nobody, man, Sun,
- 2:01:59Speaker 2: don't fucking stops. I'm gonna be up in the morning,
- 2:02:00Speaker 2: regardless that sun is gonna be up in the morning,
- 2:02:05Speaker 2: of regard, regardless of how I fucking feel and how
- 2:02:08Speaker 2: depressed I am, the sun is gonna fucking shine in
- 2:02:11Speaker 2: the morning and the nighttime, the moon gonna be there,
- 2:02:14Speaker 2: and you're gonna look up. These days gonna keep going by.
- 2:02:17Speaker 2: So do you let the days go by and look
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: up and you don't waste.
- 2:02:20Speaker 3: It a year doing what?
- 2:02:22Speaker 2: Or do you just pick it up? All right, figure
- 2:02:25Speaker 2: it out? Made some mistakes. Life goes on.
- 2:02:27Speaker 3: Let me figure out life.
- 2:02:28Speaker 2: From this point, I'm a life goes on type of God.
