- New Mexico Player Scores Two Million! This is The Lottery Rundown for Wednesday August 26th Mega Millions drew Tuesday night with 7, 10, 47, 48 and 50, plus Mega Ball 14. Nobody matched all six, but one lucky ticket holder in New Mexico scored 2 million dollars. Ten now owns the third-highest white-ball total of the past six years, with 56 appearances. Forty-eight repeated from Friday’s draw; it must have left its keys in the machine. Seven also returned after 34 drawings away. Did you notice it had been missing? Friday’s jackpot rises to 145 million dollars, with a cash value of 61 million 900 thousand dollars. That could buy a warehouse full of life-size ceramic giraffes. The jackpot has gone eight drawings and 28 days without a winner, still a fairly ordinary stretch. Moving to Powerball, the last draw was Monday, August 24, with 3, 16, 33, 38 and 68, plus Powerball 2 and a 2X multiplier. No player matched all six. Among the white balls, 16 had the longest wait in that lineup, returning after 23 drawings away. Tonight’s jackpot is 96 million dollars, with a cash value of 41 million 200 thousand dollars. The run sits at five drawings and 12 days without a jackpot winner, so it remains young. Wednesdays have produced 21 of the 46 jackpot wins over the past six years, a stronger share than their place on the schedule.
