- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Hey, welcome.
- 0:00SPEAKER_02: My name was Shauna.
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: Sorry I didn't get your name in the beginning, but I'm a Shauna from the DOS House of Loretta, Pennsylvania.
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: So Shauna, so DOS House.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: New to the paranormal world.
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: The question I have to ask, do you guys own it or just help run it?
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: No, we own it.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Danielle and I own it.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: I wasn't sure about that because there's a lot of groups out there now that help run, you know, certain buildings and everything.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: I couldn't really find anything on your Facebook that you guys actually owned it or you guys just ran it.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: So how did that become about then?
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Um the DOS house came about.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Um, everything basically that we're doing, have done, and is coming to do um is all in honor of my mother Holly Coteldo.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Um, she was very much involved in the paranormal community.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: And 2023, she passed away from stage four cancer.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Um, so in the midst of that, we took Danielle and I took over her paranormal group.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: It was Unique Paranormal One.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: We have renamed it Unique Paranormal 1.5.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: And in hindsight, she always wanted to own a haunted Airbnb.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, money tree didn't land in my front yard.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: So Danielle did start looking um after my mom passed away, you know, looking to find a haunted location to open in honor of her.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Um, and we just so happened to stumble across the DOS house about eight or nine months into the search.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Um, we found the DOS house and we got in there and checked it out.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: And needless to say, we bought it and uh opened it up on Halloween of last year, and it's been soaring ever since.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: I mean, I've I've looked.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: I mean, like every paranormal investigator, you know, you kind of look to see oh, what's haunted place out there that we could buy?
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: So what kind of attracted you to the DOS house that you knew was kind of haunted, or did it have a history of like paranormal before?
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: It did.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: So it's it's odd how we came across the place because um Doss, who was the barber, um, actually was Danielle's grandfather.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Um, so the house had sat with the family for years, just abandoned, nobody was really doing anything with it.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Um, we got a call from Danielle's aunt, and she was like, Hey Danielle, do you want to pick up your pap's mantle um from the house?
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to like just sort things out that I know family members would want, and I know you would appreciate it because he made it.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Of course.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: So we, you know, took a drive out to Loretto, Pennsylvania.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: I had never been to Loretto, Pennsylvania in my entire life.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Um, on our way there, um, I'm very sensitive to certain things, like certain locations make me feel sick.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Um, so and I just thought we were going to her her family's house.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: I wasn't thinking anything beyond that.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Um, and on the way there, I just got really sick.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: She had to pull over for me.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Um, and about 20 minutes later, we pull up to this place, and I'm looking at the place, and I'm looking at Danielle, and I said, Danielle, she's like, What?
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: And she kind of was like, she didn't know how to respond to me.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know if she was embarrassed because you know, how the house looked, knowing that it was her grandparents' house, um, or what.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: She didn't really know what I was saying her name for.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: And I said to her in that moment, I was like, You've been looking for a haunted location for over a year, and you're telling me that this is in your family, and you never thought of this being an option.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: She's like, No, like, and I don't know why.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Like, she's like, I had tons of experiences here as a kid.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Me and my sister, you know, my parents, my grandparents, obviously.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Um, and Doss had reported for years that there was a little girl in a dream green dress that always harassed him.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: It was always causing trouble.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: They had, we don't really know exactly what their complaints were.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Um, Doss and his wife.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: All we do know is that they did bring a paranormal investigative team in there in 1976.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: And we learned that information from Frank, the historian who lives across the street, who just so happened to be Doss's best friend for years and years.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: He told us the story, you know, of the little girl in the green dress that Doss had always spoken about, and something that was just didn't feel right, and everybody was starting to, you know, their moods were changing and feeling uncomfortable.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: So they had this team come in, and you know, it was very hush-hush.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: This is a very Catholic town, it wasn't something that you talked about.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Um, so a couple weeks went by, and Frank followed up with Doss, and it was like, hey, you know, whatever happened with that team that came in there.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And Frank told us the only thing DOS had ever said was that um they found something not so nice in the basement, and that was it, and they never spoke of it again.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: He never said if things got better, if things got worse, like there was no follow-up um of anything, so here we are.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, kind of falling your lap.
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: That's cool, though.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, yeah.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: I try not to do too much history on places, so I have heard something dark in a basement.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: You know, there's T and Young.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: She was she was able to pop in there, so I'm sure she could answer questions in the comments too.
- 5:10SPEAKER_02: So, what do you think?
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: Is there something dark in a basement there then?
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: All I will say is this is that the DOS house has very low vibrational energy and very high vibrational energy.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: I am by no means an expert.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: I have only really been in the paranormal field with both feet for about two years since my mom passed away.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'm still learning.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: All I can tell you is that the feeling down there is not very nice.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: We have and several other teams have have heard growling.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Uh, they get some very not nice communication coming back at them.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: We have had one of our friends, Sarah Lee and Jim Houston, um, both got scratched down there at one point.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, there's definitely, and then that we had an event this past June that there was a bench set up next to the stairwell, and they were doing a seance down there with uh Patty Negri, and they kept getting bum rushed from behind those steps, and the bench was actually moving.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Um, so there's definitely a strong energy that's pretty darn mad for whatever reason.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: That's how I kind of look at it, um, and enjoys scaring people.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: I I don't know what it is.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: There's speculations of what I think it is, but I don't really know.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Um, there's two spots in the house that have a very low vibrational energy to me, um, and that is the basement, and then um the crawl space at the top of the second floor stairwell.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: That's also a not so nice spot.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I don't know what it is, but it's it doesn't feel very good down there.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: What is up with basements and people being scratched?
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: Like the only time I've ever been scratched, like are in basements.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't I don't know.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, knock on wood, luckily I've never been scratched or poked.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, obviously poked, but you know, touched on the back of the neck and stuff like that, but never scratched, and I'm hoping that that never happens.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've been doing this about 20 years.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: I've never been scratched.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, better knock on something, men.
- 7:14SPEAKER_02: Um I've had a feeling of like an ice pick going in my back a couple times down at LR.
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: I mean, not really, it's kind of just more of a burning sensation.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, never scratched and no marks on me.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, me neither.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: A few of my team members have been scratched a few times, but yeah, we're maybe we're just the lucky ones, Ryan.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Maybe we're just the lucky ones.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, everybody like there's people out there like, oh, I want to be scratched, I want to be slapped until you're scratchers.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: I don't wanna.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: I don't wanna.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, so how did you all get into the table tipping?
- 7:56SPEAKER_02: What is table tipping?
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Okay, um, so table tipping is basically a three-legged older table.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: In my opinion, it should be completely smooth.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: They kind of resemble like a plant stand table.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: That's best, that's the best way I could describe it.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: So, this was something that I encountered for the first time at the historic 1912 Hoover House in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Um, one of my mother's most favorite places on on the planet.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Her closest best friends um are always there and run it.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: And they basically use the table as a means of communication um with spirit.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So, from what I have observed, and for lots and lots of years, I was the one who was like on the floor looking at everybody's feed and watching the table, and you know, making sure nobody's whites are the tips of their fingers were so basically what you do is you set it, you know, you can gather, you know, however many people you can fit around this table, and you place just your fingertips on the table.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: There's usually one person in charge of starting, opening, and closing in, you know, communication.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: Jim Weirick is who we Jim and his sister Jen, we watch the most.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: They, you know, everybody introduces themselves, they put some type of oil on that.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: Danielle might know what type of oil it is.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Basically, like to cleanse your fingers before you place them on the table.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: Usually each table has a name, it belongs to someone.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: So uh our friend Jen, her table's name is Emma.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Uh, we have another friend Jerry, his name, his table's name is Murphy.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: So you always address the table by its name, and you basically use it um as a form of communication.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: Like if there's you everybody's fingertips are on there, you you know, you ask whose spirit is here that they're here to communicate with, and the table genuinely leans in a direction or a yes or no answer, you'll get a slight lean.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: There has been times that I've seen the table actually levitate come straight up off of the floor.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: There has been times it goes from standing to completely smack on its face where everybody's like they don't know what to do.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: So to me, it's just a tool of communication.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I'm not a hundred percent experienced in it.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: My mother loved it, she um participated in it quite frequently.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's very interesting.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Lots of, you know, people that really still aren't unsure about it, which is understandable.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: But all I can say is until you actually experience it with an experienced group of people, it's pretty neat.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: It's pretty neat.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: So, do you guys have a table there at the DOS house that you can do this?
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: We did.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: There are several tables in there, but none of the tables that Danielle has felt um was type of a like had an energy about it, I guess you could say, kind of like how certain people look at dolls and they hold energy.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: I guess that's the same type of thing with these tables.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Um, they're supposed to like call to you, I guess.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: I mean, I never has happened for me yet.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: We did pick up one table thinking that possibly, and it hasn't really been anything yet.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Um, so as of right now, Jen and Jim just bring their tables along when we do stuff with them.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: And they're actually coming up um because we're celebrating our one-year anniversary at the DOS house on Halloween.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: So we invited them up to celebrate our one-year anniversary with us doing some table tipping at the house.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's cool.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: I've never even heard of that.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: Interesting though.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's definitely interesting.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: We will be uh live on our TikTok page that night, so it usually gets pretty wild, you know.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: Because like I said, you get a lot of anytime you anytime you use any tools like that, you get a lot all the skeptics come out of the woodwork, and you know, they are trying to debunk it from behind a camera screen like I am, being there crawling on the floor and watching everybody's fingers, you know what I mean?
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: So it took me a lot of years to actually slightly believe in it, and yeah, it took me actually being at the table to truly understand and feel what it was about.
- 11:56SPEAKER_02: So, quick question.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: So, you said you've been in like got really into the paranormal for just a couple years.
- 12:03SPEAKER_02: So, your mom sounds like she's been she was in it for a long time.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: She was, she was in it for a very long time.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: How did you not like kind of well a hundred percent transparency?
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I always went to do things with my mom, but I was that kid was like, Yeah, you're full crap, like you're so full crap, like and and I was, and I would I you know, she knew that I felt that way, but um, she was constantly teaching me, const I was, you know, always putting me in situations of learning and at least seeing and experiencing things, and it wasn't until I was probably in my early 30s, I want to say, you know, that along the way there are bits and pieces of things that happen, but a friend of mine, and I'm not even sure how my friend knew about my mom, but she got a hold of me and she was like, Hey, you're I saw your mom's coming in town.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: Do you think she'll do a reading for me?
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: And I was like, sure, I guess.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: So I asked my mom, and she was coming in town to visit me and the kids, and um, my friend she came over and I sat in the living room with my mom, and my mom told things about a recent tragedy that had happened within her family in the last couple of months that my mother would have known nothing about this.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: She never met this person in her life.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: And when she nailed everything and spoke of you know, the horrible accident in detail, my mind was changed forever.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Um, so in that moment, I started looking at things a lot differently.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Um, I actually went to a couple investigations with her and her team, um, and there was just too many unexplained things, like even just as simple as a mag light turning on and off in response intelligently blew my mind.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: A piano playing itself on its own with nobody over there.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: So, and then I was hooked.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: I just I was hooked.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: I did a couple more things with her.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: We would go to the Gettysburg Bash every year together, but it wasn't it was kind of like my mom's thing that I would just go, or me and Danielle, you know, the last couple years, we would just go and hang out with her and just be there for the experience.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: Um, it wasn't until she passed away that I really dove into it because honestly, for me, within my grief journey, it was something that she loved so much and was so much a part of, it helped me to feel closer to her by doing these things.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, it makes sense to me.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: I mean, like my mom, she liked it, but she never really did it.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: Like she bought me the tickets to like you know go down to Mansfield for Christmas and all that fun stuff.
- 14:45SPEAKER_02: But I'm like, why don't you come with me?
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: She's like, No, take a friend.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: I think my mom talked a good game.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: I think she was uh she was a badass in mine, but when it came to it, she was like, Yeah, I don't want to deal with this stuff, so you go do it and tell me about it.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, your mom was like, take a friend, and I was telling my mom that, yeah, I'm good, you take a friend.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: Just you know, when you get older, Christmas presents are harder to come by, so go to a hollow location.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: Um we're actually if if anybody if y'all are interested in coming out, we're actually um for the month of October, we're running a special, it's gonna be our last special of the year.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Um, that if y'all want to come out, you can if you book within the 2025 calendar, which we have like six or seven dates left available.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: Um, you get a 2026 investigation for up to eight people for absolutely free.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: So finish the year off at the DOS house and then come back again next year.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Two for the price of one.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: Can't beat it.
- 15:50SPEAKER_02: Can't beat it.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: You do you just book in October for like any other month, like November?
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's just for that like uh the rest of 2025.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: So if you if you pick a date, October, November, December, and then you get a completely free whenever you want in 2026.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: All right, I have to look for me.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: I like to throw lots of little specials and deals out there all the time to try to make it more intriguing and more affordable for everybody.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, I think that's why you guys have gotten you guys have gotten pretty popular, the DOS house.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: Just popping up, and it's about the paranormal for you and groups.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: That's what I love about you guys.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: And we have heat.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: We have heat.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I'm a fan of heat.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: Like I like heat, but and a flush-up toilet.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: That's always a bonus.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: Of course, bird has to Mike Michael Massino, we call it Bird.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: So say cold like your heart.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they know me too well.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: So I make my group do stuff like auto solos and all that fun stuff.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: Um, they don't like it, but I well, I always get voted off the island because I'm probably the biggest chicken in the group, so you know it's I understand.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: I understand, Michael.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm usually that one.
- 17:20SPEAKER_02: I'll just wait.
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: Like, I think it's December 5th.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: I call it the Fellowship of the Spirits.
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: I think there's seven groups coming up to Madison.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: Um wow, they have no idea what's in store for them, like the games we're gonna play.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, how many paranormals on here?
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, you guys, Caden.
- 17:39SPEAKER_02: Uh just wait.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: That's there's gonna be like yeah, there's gonna be blindfolds and oh boy, lock in room solo.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: So everyone says they can't wait till it happens, but no, it's gonna be fine.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: We're gonna play a lot of games.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: No, I I need to get down to DOS house sometime.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: This year I've been flying pretty much solo a lot lately with other groups.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: So maybe we can try to when you you're down there, maybe I come do invest you know, join us.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, we're up, we're always up for anything, of course.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 18:24SPEAKER_02: So, what other places have you investigated since you just kind of got into this?
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: And well, our list obviously isn't lengthy because it's you know a year of opening the DOS house and uh just doing this stuff, but we have done obviously Madison and Fairfield.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Um, we have done Pennhurst.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: We recently just took a trip out to Michigan.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: We did Eloise Asylum out there, awesome place, love it there.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Um, the Bel Air House.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: Oh shoot.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: Um the hotel in Windur.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Actually, what's the name?
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Um Blair owns it.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: It's like the it's a hotel in Windburgh.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: I can't remember the name of it.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: Help me out, y'all.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Um, Crescent Sanatorium and Prison.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: Uh, the Old Stone, the Cambria County Old Stone Jail here in Evansburg, uh, the Nanny Glow Theater.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: Um help me out, guys.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Yes, the Grand Midway.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: That's the one that's a cool place.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: Um trying to think of where else we've gone.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: The Reliquary of St.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: John's.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: That's in Fredonia, Pennsylvania.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: That's a brand new location.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I missed anything, Danielle.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: I'm sure it's on me.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: And then obviously the DOS House Unlimited.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Uh Indiana Sanatorium.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: That was cool.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: That was a good one.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: I mean, for a couple years, you knocked off pretty a lot.
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's it's a pretty impressive group.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: It's uh it's pretty addictive, Ryan.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: You know this.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: It's pretty addictive.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: If I don't work 67 hours a week, I do the same thing.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, see, I just do podcasts now.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, Hillview Manor.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: We've done that too.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Look at look at all my people having my back out here.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: Hillview Manor.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: Have you have you done Hillview Manor yet?
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: I have not done Hillview Manor.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: So, what do you think about Bel Air House?
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: Well, that's a loaded question.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: I we I need to go back because what what happened there we were not prepared for.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: We yeah, let's just that's how I'm gonna put it.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: We just were not prepared.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: Um, a couple of our team members were taken down.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: Uh from the from the attic.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Basically, I was outside of my mind the whole time, pretty much.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: Everybody was telling me.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: I wandered off by myself when we got there.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: We usually all you know say a prayer together before we go in, put protections in place, you know, because even though we're, you know, seeking higher vibrational energy, we do acknowledge that there are lower vibrational energies, right?
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: So we just we implement those things for our group to make sure everybody's safe and educated and all these things.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: And I don't know what.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: Like, I just I walked in, was walking around the house, went uh alone, and I never do that.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: I never do that.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: I ended up in the attic.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: The next thing I know, another teammate of ours, Amy, was right behind me.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: She never does this either.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: We went up there, next thing we come downstairs, and everybody was concerned.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Um, after about two hours of being in there, you know, there was some things that were happening that were cons that were concerned.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Amy and I were acting, um, not as ourselves, obviously.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: Quite a few members of our group felt uncomfortable.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: We did later learn out learn some extra things about the place, what people have done there or do there, or can place there, or things like that, being as discreet as possible.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: Um, but But yeah, it was a very interesting um experience.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: Now, when we first got like I felt like it there was nothing really.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: So for that to have happened, it's kind of thrown me for a loop a little bit.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: So I do want to go back.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: Um, having you know certain things in place and really trying to figure out what exactly happened.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Um, and then that'll be it.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: I would I would never have to go back again.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: It'll be fine.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I've heard like all over stories from people that have gone there, but we went in there blind, and that was probably a really bad idea.
- 22:38SPEAKER_02: Are you the type of person that would drive by something and just feel like there's something there?
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: All right, oh yeah.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: I mean, of course, I mean that's what drew me to DOS house.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: I mean, oh for sure.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's kind of one of those things that you do like I'm sure how psychic mediums feel, like you wish that's you could just switch that switch off and not have to deal with that stuff for a little while.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: But yeah, nope, happens all the time.
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: Uh so what what are the big plans at DOS House next year?
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: Uh big plans at the DOS house, like I said, not not much of anything um big and planned besides our one-year anniversary, and we're just gonna, you know, let the DOS house do the DOS house thing, like just you know, be there for the community, and that's what it was established there for.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: My mom wanted to have a nice place that people could come and investigate that actually was haunted, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, that place is definitely haunted.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: But yeah, next um June we're we're talking about doing our creep at Real Festival again.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: Last June it was pretty awesome.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: We held that at the um Cambria County Old Stone Jail in Evansburg.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Um, had quite a few big name people turn up for that.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: Um, so we're talking about doing that again.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Outside of that, kind of just uh I want to focus more on uh going to events and meeting more people, you know, talking about the DOS house, talking about my experience.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: I've been doing some guests speaking about, you know, my grief journey and you know, turning my pain into power, things like that, just kind of uplifting people, you know, encouraging, giving people some hope.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: We are gonna we're looking at some avenues to create some type of a platform for people who are struggling with, you know, coming into knowing that they do have psychic mediumship abilities.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: Um, my mom was ridiculed most of her life and wasn't able to express that she had abilities until she was much, much older.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: So we're trying to put together uh kind of like a safe space for people to turn to for guidance, people that can mentor people who are struggling.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: Because yeah, I think that's a big, a big thing in the community right now is people are afraid to speak up.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: They're afraid to tell their friends and their families and their co-workers because they look at them like they're crazy.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: And you know, so having having a safe space for people um who are discovering those things about themselves, I think is important.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: So we're trying to throw something together to support that right now, hoping to have something up and running by January.
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: Do you do you think it's more accepted now, though, that it's out there?
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: I do, I do think it is a little bit more accepted, um, but I think the worldly community that isn't accepting of it never is going to be certain, you know, religious, you know, towns, beliefs, especially one that the DOS house is sitting in, um, those types of communities are never going to change.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: So I think teaching individuals that that are getting ridiculed from people like that, putting things into place to help them cope and understand perspectives, and that you know, at the end of the day, everybody is entitled to feel that they want to, and but it doesn't give you the right to treat them any less of a human being just because you have differences in different views and opinions.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Because honestly, if you look at it in a whole, that's all it is is views and opinions.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: Nothing in this world, you know, from paranormal to religion is actually factual.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: So all I care about at the end of the day is if you're a good human or not.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: And if you're not a good human, we can't be friends.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: If you're a good human, we can be friends.
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: I think everything I think we're being more accepted to psychic mediums, but I think what's washing it down a little bit is the fakes because of social media.
- 26:27SPEAKER_02: So it's it is hard to believe some people.
- 26:33SPEAKER_02: I always say, like, I always need proof.
- 26:35SPEAKER_02: Like if you're a psychic medium, you know, prove it.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: I'm not saying you're not, you know, I'm not gonna say you're not what you say you are, right?
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: But if you want to go out there on social media and claim to be like the most powerful psychic medium, I see it every day.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, people pretending to be something that they're not, or claiming that they're one thing until that doesn't work out for them, and then they claim that they're something else.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: I I just tell everybody, you know, your intuition is your most powerful tool.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: And if your intuition says anything, even just the slightest little hiccup, um, then it you probably should steer clear.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: So, and it is, it's very hard to trust in anybody, it truly is.
- 27:21SPEAKER_02: That that hurts the people that are being legit too.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Absolutely does.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: It absolutely does.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: They have to prove themselves tenfold.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: So I mean, go on TikTok and go on the lives and see how many psychics you see.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, too many to count.
- 27:41SPEAKER_02: Then they message me.
- 27:42SPEAKER_02: Like I just scroll through them and they message me.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 27:45SPEAKER_02: I'll have a feeling.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: You pay me money, I pull you card.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what I get all the time.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all the time.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: No, I think that's cool.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: You're trying to do that.
- 27:58SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's there's a lot of stuff out there that paranormal is so unknown, and we will never know.
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: No, that's why we keep going, that's why we keep doing it.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what I tell people all the time, like, why do you do this?
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: And why this, why that?
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: And I said, Hey, listen, like, you know, it's it is truly my grief journey.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: All of this is my grief journey.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: And if I can have, you know, the opportunity to speak to my mom for a half of a second, I'm gonna do it, and I'm gonna keep doing it in hopes that I get that half of a second.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: I'm sure, you know, anybody out there that has lost somebody, this was the biggest loss I've ever experienced in my life.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: And, you know, anybody who's lost anybody that close to them, the thought of possibly having a couple seconds of validation that you're actually speaking with them, I think that makes it makes all the difference.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: I also ask that since you know this was like your mom's dream.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: Have you ever felt her at the DOS house?
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Or we I um predominantly, you know, I I sense her around occasionally, but I like I tell everybody, I never really know when she's here or when she's not.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: There was only a couple, maybe like three instances.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Uh, one was the day she passed away.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: The other one was um speaking, Ashley and Mike had came to the DOS house and they had brought a piece of equipment with them that had they had never gotten a response out of ever.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: And I can't remember who in that moment, I was just having an emotional day that day.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: I don't know why.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: Um, but somebody had mentioned that my mom was there, that they sensed that she was there with us.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Yeah, no, she's not, she's never around, she never lets me know that she's here.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: Like, that's where my headspace was.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: Um, so through the investigation, I said, Okay, mom, if you are here, light that piece of equipment up all the way that it can possibly light up because it was like stacked colors on this thing, and within that moment it blared and blared and continuously blared off.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: And then I said, Okay, if that's for real you, then you can back away now, and it did.
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: So do do will we ever know if that was really her?
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: No.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: Was it comforting to me to know that that piece of equipment had never gone off and it did like that when I specifically asked her to do it?
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: Makes you wonder, makes you feel good, and it yeah, it was pretty neat.
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, lots of families have been coming through for people at the DOS house lately.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: That's been really um unique change of events that's been going on there.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: So I'm really curious to see what's gonna happen Halloween night when we do the table tipping.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: Um, because we're gonna have, you know, some of our team members there, some regulars, and then quite a few people from the community.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Um, we opened that up uh free of charge.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: Nobody pays to come to this.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: And anybody who wanted to check it out and see what table tipping was about, so you know, there's gonna be familiars and unfamiliars at the table tipping.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: So I'm really excited to see how that's gonna go and who's gonna come through for people there.
