Lucas: Of course. That's exactly what we're doing today. So, you walk up to the ticket counter and you say, 我想睇戲. Luna: 我想睇戲. That means I want to watch a movie, right? Lucas: Exactly. Now, the person behind the counter asks, 你要幾多張票? But you already know the key question: 一張票幾多錢? Luna: 一張票幾多錢. How much is one ticket? Lucas: Perfect. And if you want two tickets, you say, 兩張票. Luna: 兩張票. I want two tickets. But what if they ask about popcorn? Lucas: Then they might say, 你要唔要爆谷? Do you want popcorn? Luna: 你要唔要爆谷. That's a handy one. So if I want some, I say, 我要爆谷. Lucas: You're a natural. And after the movie, if your friend asks, 好唔好睇? they're asking if it was good. Luna: 好唔好睇. So I can answer, 好睇, or 唔好睇. Lucas: Exactly. Let's do a quick practice. I'm the ticket seller. You say, I want to watch a movie. Luna: 我想睇戲. Lucas: How many tickets? Luna: 兩張票. And how much is one ticket? Lucas: 一張票幾多錢? Good. And would you like popcorn? Luna: 你要唔要爆谷? Wait, no, that's your line. I should say, 我要爆谷. Lucas: You got it. So, you're all set. Now, let's imagine you're actually at the cinema with a friend. You want to ask if they think the movie will be good. Luna: 好唔好睇? Lucas: Nice. And they might answer, 好睇, or 唔好睇. Simple, right? Luna: Yeah, I feel much more confident now.
