- 2:13Calliope: It is I, Calliope the Muse, ready to serenade
- 2:19Redge: Magnificent! Uh Hermes, how are you feeling on lead guitar and backup vocals?
- 2:25Hermes: And it is I, Hermes the Herald, ready to rock and roll!
- 2:31Redge: Ooh, perfect, and I love your wing sandals.
- 2:34Redge: Looking snazzy.
- 2:37Hermes: Hey, thanks!
- 2:39Redge: Okay, we've got Pan on the pan pipes, of course.
- 2:43Redge: And uh Hercules on the drums.
- 2:45Redge: Are you ready, Herc?
- 2:47Hercules: Um yeah, I I think.
- 2:49Hercules: Uh I mean yes.
- 2:51Redge: Perfect! Herc and the heroes are all accounted for.
- 2:55Redge: Hercules, would you like to count everyone in?
- 2:58Redge: Seeing as Herc and the Heroes is your band.
- 3:03Hercules: Um maybe you should do it this time.
- 3:06Redge: Oh, well, okay.
- 3:08Redge: I did volunteer to be your director of spectacle after all.
- 3:13Redge: I solemnly swore to make Herc and the Heroes sparkle in the amphitheater tonight.
- 3:21Hercules: Uh yeah, absolutely.
- 3:25Redge: So, on my count, a five, a six, a five, six, seven.
- 3:30Hercules: Wait!
- 3:31Redge: Oh what is it, Hercules?
- 3:34Hercules: I just realized uh I I can't practice right now.
- 3:39Hermes: Here we go again!
- 3:41Redge: Oh, why ever not?
- 3:43Hercules: Uh I forgot I promised to walk Cerberus.
- 3:46Redge: The three-headed dog?
- 3:47Redge: Can't somebody else walk Cerberus?
- 3:50Hercules: Everyone knows I'm the only one strong enough to walk him all the way around the lake.
- 3:55Hermes: Ah, but can't you do it later, Herc?
- 3:57Hermes: We've gotta practice this song at least once or twice.
- 4:00Hercules: If I don't walk Cerberus before the show, he'll be whining over the music all night.
- 4:06Redge: Oh, well, that makes sense.
- 4:08Redge: I guess we can practice after you're done.
- 4:10Redge: Uh, but hurry back quickly.
- 4:12Hercules: Uh yeah, uh of course, yeah.
- 4:15Hercules: It won't take long.
- 4:17Calliope: Uh, that's what he always says.
- 4:25Hercules: Uh here, here boy, here boy.
- 4:27Hercules: Gentle, gentle, whoa!
- 4:31Redge: O h dear, he's run off fast.
- 4:35Hercules: Slow down, boy.
- 4:38Redge: Should we go after them?
- 4:41Hercules: I've got him! I've got him.
- 4:44Pan: I think he's got him.
- 4:46Redge: Hercules! Are you okay?
- 4:49Hercules: No, I'm fine.
- 4:52Redge: Look out! Cerberus is running straight for the amphitheater stage! He's going to knock over the set! Are you sure you don't need any help?
- 5:04Hercules: I got it! I know just what to do
- 5:10Redge: Is he grabbing the disco ball from the stage?
- 5:13Hermes: It does look like it, yeah.
- 5:15Redge: Hercules, what are you going to do with that disco ball?
- 5:19Hercules: Alright, Cerberus.
- 5:20Hercules: Are you ready, boy?
- 5:22Hercules: And fetch!
- 5:33Redge: Aww Sweet puppy playing fetch.
- 5:37Hermes: Well done, Herc.
- 5:39Hercules: S ometimes Cerberus just needs a little distraction.
- 5:43Hercules: He'll run around and tire himself out now.
- 5:46Redge: Excellent! That means we can practice.
- 5:49Hermes: Great! I want to make sure to run the chorus a few times.
- 5:52BABS: Oh Hercules! A minute of your time.
- 5:56BABS: The Hydras are all arguing about how to get their keyboards plugged in.
- 6:01BABS: They just have to perform in a lake.
- 6:04BABS: They refuse to come out.
- 6:05BABS: You know, being a big multi-headed lake-drilling beast and all.
- 6:10BABS: Anyways, we're building a whole stage in the lake now.
- 6:13BABS: Can you carry the platform into the water?
- 6:16Redge: Oh, I'm sorry, Babs, but we were just about to practi
- 6:19Hercules: Oh, I can't leave the hydras hanging.
- 6:21Hercules: Of course I can carry the platforms.
- 6:24BABS: Tanks, Herc!
- 6:27Hydra Heads: Hi, Herc.
- 6:28Hydra Heads: Hi, Herc.
- 6:28Hydra Heads: What's up, Herr?
- 6:29Hydra Heads: Hi.
- 6:29Hydra Heads: Hi.
- 6:30Hydra Heads: Hi, Herc.
- 6:31Hercules: Hello, Hydra.
- 6:32Hercules: Let me just lift this.
- 6:34Hercules: Up
- 6:36Redge: Uh Hercules, are you sure you can carry that on your own?
- 6:41Hercules: No problem.
- 6:42Hercules: Just gotta push through the water here.
- 6:46Hercules: Oh, uh okay.
- 6:52Hercules: Just moving back over.
- 6:54Hydra Heads: Uh no, no, the lights won't reach.
- 6:57Hercules: Okay.
- 6:58Hercules: Even for a strong guy, this platform is getting a bit heavy.
- 7:04Hydra Heads: Put it in the middle.
- 7:06Hydra Heads: No!
- 7:08Hercules: I got it! I got it! I got it! We'll just grab two other platforms on top of this one.
- 7:16Pan: Eh, are you sure you don't need help?
- 7:18Speaker 2: I got it! I didn't earn a gold medal in the boulder toss event at the Legend Lake Olympiad for nothing.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Graceful toss.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Stylish Toss.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And Epic Toss!
- 7:43Bandmates: Yeah! Woo! Yeah! Woohoo!
- 7:50Hercules: Whew, there.
- 7:52Hercules: Now we have three platforms.
- 7:54Hercules: One on the right, one on the left, and one in the center.
- 7:58Hydra Heads: Ah, thanks, Herc! Well done, job.
- 8:01Hydra Heads: Thank you so much!
- 8:03Redge: That was very impressive, Hercules.
- 8:06Hercules: Thanks.
- 8:07Hercules: I'm just glad the Hydras can play in the concert now.
- 8:11Pan: So can we practice now?
- 8:15Calliope: I need to warm up those high notes on the verses.
- 8:19Redge: Oh, yes, let's go ahead and Sorry.
- 8:25Redge: That's my acorn phone.
- 8:27Redge: Uh one moment.
- 8:28Redge: Hello?
- 8:29Redge: Oh hi, Jonathan! It's my best friend Jonathan.
- 8:34Redge: He's going to bring some of the surprises I have set up for the spectacle.
- 8:39Redge: How's it going?
- 8:41Redge: Oh what?
- 8:43Redge: Oh no!
- 8:45Hercules: Uh, what's wrong, Redge?
- 8:48Redge: No, that's all right, Jonathan.
- 8:49Redge: I'm glad you called.
- 8:51Redge: I will see you at the concert soon.
- 8:53Redge: The golden deer has run away again.
- 8:59Hermes: Uh golden deer?
- 9:00Hermes: That sounds familiar.
- 9:03Hercules: Are you talking about Artemis' precious golden deer companion?
- 9:08Redge: Oh yes.
- 9:08Redge: We asked if the deer could come and prance across the back of the stage during your song, since
- 9:14Hercules: uh it leaves a golden trail of light behind it.
- 9:17Redge: Exactly! But the deer is so fast, it slipped away again.
- 9:22Redge: This is the third time.
- 9:25Hercules: I know exactly what to do.
- 9:27Hercules: I've caught the deer before, after all.
- 9:30Hercules: The only one in Legend Lake who has.
- 9:33Redge: Oh, that's okay, Hercules.
- 9:35Redge: Herc and the heroes need to practice.
- 9:37Redge: We will just scratch the deer performance and
- 9:40Hercules: Nonsense! All I need to do is go to the west side of the lake.
- 9:45Redge: But that's far.
- 9:46Redge: But I'm fast.
- 9:47Redge: And it's simple from there.
- 9:50Redge: I just need to climb up the small hill, grab some of Legend Lake's dandelions.
- 9:55Redge: They're the deer's favorite.
- 9:57Redge: Then run back down the hill, spread the petals to lure the golden deer to us.
- 10:02Redge: Then I will sit and wait for one, uh maybe two hours, until the golden deer appears at the edge of the woods eating the petals.
- 10:10Redge: Now this is where the plan really begins.
- 10:15Hermes: Hey, Herc!
- 10:16Pan: That sounds uh complicated.
- 10:19Calliope: Are you sure
- 10:21Redge: you don't need help?
- 10:23Hercules: I got it.
- 10:25Redge: But Hercules, I
- 10:27Hercules: I know I'll be able to catch this fast little guy.
- 10:29Hercules: Me and this golden deer, we go way back.
- 10:33Redge: Hercules?
- 10:34Hercules: H e's fast, but I'm faster, and I always remember someone's favorite snack.
- 10:39Hercules: The last time, my good pal Artemis needed
- 10:42Redge: Hercules.
- 10:43Redge: You've been avoiding practice all afternoon, and we're mere hours away from the show now.
- 10:50Calliope: I need to warm up my voice.
- 10:53Pan: I need to play these pipes.
- 10:55Hermes: And I need to practice my guitar riffs! And Cy Well, cy's doing fine.
- 11:03Redge: Hercules, what's going on?
- 11:06Hercules: I I
- 11:09Redge: I t's okay, Hercules.
- 11:10Redge: You can tell us.
- 11:12Hermes: Yeah, tell us.
- 11:14Hercules: I keep breaking the drums.
- 11:17Hermes: What do you mean?
- 11:19Calliope: Oh dear.
- 11:20Pan: That's kind of rock and roll.
- 11:22Hercules: Not if I can't even get through our song once.
- 11:25Hercules: I think I'm too strong.
- 11:28Hercules: Every time I try to rock out, I just break everything, and I can't play at all.
- 11:33Redge: Oh dear.
- 11:34Redge: But I'm sure we can help you with this.
- 11:37Redge: Why didn't you tell us?
- 11:39Hercules: Ask for help?
- 11:41Hercules: Me?
- 11:41Hercules: I'm strong enough to walk Cerberus and carry a stage for the Hydras and catch the golden deer.
- 11:52Hercules: I can set up the lights, lift the backdrops, and hold up the amphitheater columns while they're getting repaired.
- 11:59Hercules: I'm I'm used to helping.
- 12:03Hercules: Not asking for help.
- 12:05Hercules: I'm sorry I'm letting you down.
- 12:08Hermes: You're not letting us down, Herc!
- 12:11Redge: Of course not.
- 12:12Redge: Everybody needs some help sometimes.
- 12:14Redge: Even the strongest among us.
- 12:17Calliope: I've asked for help learning how to hit the high notes.
- 12:20Pan: I've had great teachers instruct me so I can get better at playing the pipes.
- 12:25Hermes: And I'm super awesome! Ah, just kidding.
- 12:30Hermes: Of course I've asked for help.
- 12:32Hermes: I've always struggled with bar chords.
- 12:35Hercules: Well, what are we going to do?
- 12:36Hercules: I can't play these drums.
- 12:38Hercules: Every time I hit them, I break them apart.
- 12:41Hercules: I'm not so used to being subtle.
- 12:45Redge: As your director of spectacle, I will not rest until the spectacle sparkles.
- 12:52Redge: And that includes your drums.
- 12:54Redge: Let's brainstorm people!
- 12:57Pan: We should call Hephaestus.
- 12:59Redge: The legend Lake Blacksmith, craftsman, and metal expert?
- 13:04Hermes: Maybe he can make you sturdier drums.
- 13:07Redge: Oh, and I have a good friend, Frank Rubbish.
- 13:10Redge: He's a great drummer.
- 13:12Redge: I can call him up and get some of his tips.
- 13:15Hercules: That would be amazing.
- 13:18Calliope: And maybe we can look through Cerberus's pile of sticks.
- 13:22Redge: Oh wait! Oh yes! Brilliant! He might have some sticks that we can shape up a bit.
- 13:29Redge: Carve into sticks that might fit your drumming style better.
- 13:33Hercules: That's so true.
- 13:35Redge: You see, I knew we'd be able to get you drumming in no time.
- 13:39Hercules: Thanks, everyone! I guess it's not so bad to ask for help after all.
- 13:45Redge: No one needs to face challenges alone.
- 13:48Hercules: Alright, Herc and the heroes, let s rock!
