Lucas: Yeah, and they'll point you to the paskamer — fitting room. Next up: 'Hoeveel kost dit?' — How much is this? Luna: Hoeveel kost dit? Hoeveel kost dit? Lucas: Good. Hoeveel kost dit. Now if the size is wrong, you say 'Hebt u dit in een andere maat?' — Do you have this in another size? Luna: Ooh, that's a long one. Hebt u dit in een andere maat? Lucas: Exactly. And what if I'm looking for something specific, like a pair of pants? Lucas: Then you say 'Ik zoek een broek.' — I'm looking for pants. Luna: Ik zoek een broek. Easy enough. Lucas: Right. And after you try it on, someone might ask 'Past het?' — Does it fit? Luna: Past het? Past het? Lucas: Yeah. And you can answer 'Het past goed.' — It fits well. Luna: Het past goed. So let me try a little scene. I walk into the store and say 'Ik zoek een broek.' Then I find one and ask 'Mag ik dit passen?' Lucas: Exactly. And after trying it, if it's too big, you say 'Hebt u dit in een andere maat?' Luna: Right. And then 'Hoeveel kost dit?' and if it fits, 'Het past goed.' Let me put it all together. Lucas: Go for it. Luna: Ik zoek een broek. Mag ik dit passen? Hebt u dit in een andere maat? Hoeveel kost dit? Het past goed. Lucas: That's fantastic, Luna. You just did a whole shopping dialogue in Dutch.
