- 0:29Good morning from the Chicken Coop, bit noisy.
- 0:32Today girls are already laying eggs and letting us know where
- 0:35they're up to. So, today, we are talking about
- 0:40contrast and the power that contrast has to offer, you
- 0:44moment to moment. So, when you're not getting what
- 0:48you want, or you are getting what you want, that's
- 0:51information. It's basically hardcore
- 0:54information that you are being provided by the universe by God
- 0:58to tell you that you are on. Track or off track to your
- 1:03desires. Not necessarily to the things
- 1:06that you think other people want for you, but your own.
- 1:09So in other words, your own energetic vibration.
- 1:12The things you're putting off out there the energy, the non
- 1:15woowoo stuff, but the energy, you know, like attracts like so
- 1:18that piece is coming off of you and it's putting you on a path
- 1:24and the contrast is a great way for you to quickly delineate.
- 1:30If You are on or off path. And one of the challenges that
- 1:34we often have is reading our contrast because we get so stuck
- 1:38in the Fate. The fact that we have this
- 1:41information and it's not what we want.
- 1:44So we get frustrated with it. We take it on as a big point of
- 1:48frustration, rather than information and showing that,
- 1:54oh, listen, this is the exact opposite of what you want.
- 1:56So what would you like to do about this?
- 1:59See I look All the emotions and I look at all the actions and
- 2:03everything like that is information for us to be able to
- 2:08use apparently Dottie agrees right dot.
- 2:10Yeah. That's exactly what's happening,
- 2:13of course. So when you have that
- 2:15information coming to you, you have to use it, you can ignore
- 2:19it. Sure.
- 2:20And most people do, I want to be really clear about this.
- 2:23Most people ignore the information that they are being
- 2:26given in contrast they get frustrated with it.
- 2:29They get Angry about it. They have issues with it and all
- 2:33kinds of ways but they don't use it to their best benefit.
- 2:37I know this is, she's got a lot to say about this today.
- 2:41So when that happens, you have all this information that's
- 2:44being handed to you, you have to pause, you have to kick your ass
- 2:48out of the emotion. You have to say, wait, stop.
- 2:52I'm frustrated, I'm irritated, I'm angry.
- 2:55And instead of staying right there in that emotion, which is,
- 3:00Giving you that contrast you have to say wait what can I
- 3:04glean from this? What can I take away from this?
- 3:06The information that's in front of me provided by this contrast
- 3:09and I actually use that language with myself because I want to
- 3:14recognize that it's the opposite of what I want and buy me
- 3:19recognizing that it's the opposite of what I want.
- 3:22Then I have a really good chance of pushing my brain to shift out
- 3:28of that energy that emotion that I'm in quicksand.
- 3:30Occur because it's a huge contrast.
- 3:33So the power of it is not just that you're not getting what you
- 3:36want. Because I mean there's a huge
- 3:40power in that but it's not just that it's the lesson that you're
- 3:44learning in the process of how to stop yourself from going
- 3:47down. An emotional road, that does not
- 3:49feel the way you want it to be. And saying this isn't going to
- 3:53help me in the long run. So again the contrast is huge.
- 3:57It's like think about it this way.
- 4:00When I'm going to use for my chocolate people out there.
- 4:02I'm going to use a metaphor with chocolate because I think it's
- 4:05so important. You're at a chocolate bar and
- 4:07you're at a tasting and you've got all different types of
- 4:10chocolates there. And, you know, that you're not a
- 4:15fan of really dark chocolate. Let's say that 85% that ninety
- 4:19percent dark chocolate. You just know, you're not a fan
- 4:21of it. And somebody at the chocolate
- 4:24bar, who's the chocolatier says to you here.
- 4:28Let's take a taste of this one. We'll start here.
- 4:30And we're going to start with the dark one so that you can
- 4:33taste the level of sweetness. Because if you started at the
- 4:36sweet end, it's very difficult to get all the way that taste
- 4:40out of your mouth for the bitter.
- 4:42The bitter will become bitter. So you start at the bittern and
- 4:45you're like, oh no, I know. I don't like that.
- 4:48I know. I don't like that and they're
- 4:50like, yes, but it let's just try it and you keep resisting it
- 4:54instead of just saying, you know what, what information could I
- 4:57get from this and you take a little taste of it and it's not
- 5:00quite as bad. As you thought it's not quite as
- 5:02bad as you thought because the starting the taste of that was
- 5:06the first thing that you had. So I like to think of it as like
- 5:09you're at a tasting Bar with chocolate and I'm going through
- 5:12all these different opportunities of contrast.
- 5:15That's all it is just think of the different opportunities of
- 5:18contrast and eventually we all know we want to get to our
- 5:21favorite one. Whether you are the dark or you
- 5:23are the light, it doesn't matter how you want to think of the
- 5:26scale. You're just taking the tastings
- 5:28up the scale to find the one. That's Your best.
- 5:31And then, you know, that's where you are.
- 5:33Emotionally going to be moved the quickest.
- 5:37So contrast By Its nature is supposed to be different.
- 5:44It's supposed to give that to you does it mean it's bad?
- 5:48No, we have a connotation of thinking contrast, it's bad.
- 5:53Typically, it's kind of like, when someone says, oh, there
- 5:56will be repercussions or you will have consequences.
- 5:59Oh, God. That Word consequences.
- 6:01I never like that growing up because my father, used it all
- 6:04the time. But now thinking of the scale
- 6:07thinking of all the chocolate thinking about all this, I know
- 6:10it's just more information. So in contrast shows up, I don't
- 6:14have a bad Association to it and I don't have that feeling, I
- 6:18just think, okay, I have to have a little taste of this.
- 6:21So I know this is not where I want to be, and then I can start
- 6:24to move up the scale because that's what it does.
- 6:26You take a taste of it, you're like okay, it's not as bad, it's
- 6:28not great. I don't love it, not as bad.
- 6:30Bad, but I can move up. So visit a chocolate bar today.
- 6:34Figure out your contrast, enjoy it.
- 6:37I hope you guys have a blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:40Bye.
