• 1:12
Uh, this week we start the show with the event of the week. We check in with the Fatty Farm Field Report brought to you today by Quiring Cycles.

• 1:49
We'll talk about s- our spring shearing contest- Baa... and drink shots of pickle juice. We'll reveal who will be taking over our Instagram feed this weekend. It's fat.
• 2:02
And now- It's time for the Fat Bike Event of the Week. The Fat Bike Event of the Week is the, the Chugach [laughs] Fat Bike Bash. [laughs] So I still can't, I'm still butchering it, I'm sure. And we have- Chugach...
• 2:17
but fortunately, we have the events coordinator, Leigh Hard, on the line. She can tell us how to pronounce it properly. Yeah, that's the Chugach Fat Bike Bash. It kind of rhymes. And it's up here in, uh, Valdez, Alaska.
• 2:30
And, uh, gonna be an Alaska kind of event with a bit of a little bit different nature than you're used to.
• 2:36
It's not gonna be those, another long distance suffer fest, 'cause we are in the Chugach Mountains, and we are steep and deep, and that's the way our ri- our premier event of the weekend is going to be. Cool.
• 2:50
So you have quite a list of things that are going on. Why don't you, uh, run us through all of the fantastic events this, 'cause there's something every day. Well, that's right.
• 3:02
We've got a action-packed weekend that starts with a little trade talk.
• 3:07
Um, QBP and Gary Skokist is gonna come to our town and have a regional fat bike summit during the day on Friday the 18th, and then that evening, the festival really kicks off in style with a, a Ursa Major Distilling Northern Lights Criterium in downtown, um, Valdez on the harbor.
• 3:29
So we're gonna run folks around the harbor, up and down boat ramps and all around, and then they get time credits for stopping to take a sample of Ursa Major Distilled products. So that should be pretty fun.
• 3:40
We'll have glow sticks that we'll hand out, out to all the racers, and hopefully make some really awesome pictures on the, on the harbor front here in Valdez. Cool. And that starts Friday.
• 3:50
And then right after that, we go straight to signature part of, um, of our event, which is a nice bonfire party, um, at Dock Point. Um, so we'll have big flames and, um, some more libations for our racers out there.
• 4:06
And then Saturday morning starts with a more traditional approach to fat bike events. We're gonna have a little, um, cross-country race in town. It'll start and end at the ferry terminal on Prince William Sound.
• 4:18
Go over the river and through the woods and out to the sound and back. Um, we'll have a beginner's loop and a, and a loop for more experienced riders. So that'll be Saturday morning.
• 4:29
And then Saturday afternoon, we go back to the ferry terminal and right on the dock with a backdrop of Prince William Sound and the beautiful Chugach Mountains, we're gonna have a fat bike rodeo with things like a foot down demolition derby, um, a, um, a bunny hop contest, a bunny hop high jump contest.
• 4:47
Mm-hmm. We'll have a, we're actually creating, like, I went out there today and looked at how work's coming along, and, uh, we're creating a BMX track out of snow to have a BMX kind of cross event there on the harbor.
• 4:58
Yeah. Um, what else are we gonna have? I, I think that's the future of fat biking, actually. [laughs] No, really, BMX- Fun...
• 5:04
you know, things, I, I like the idea of having s- a short course thing like you're talking about with this BMX thing, where spectators can watch as well as, you know, people can participate. I think that's really cool.
• 5:14
Yeah. And then I think the future of fat- It-... fat biking is actually a dance party sponsored by Hoodoo Brewing. [laughs] That's right.
• 5:22
Well, we're gonna have a dance party, 'cause, uh, we like to have a good time here.
• 5:27
And, um, but anyway, the, that's just the prep, the lead up to we're gonna take all those spectators up to Thompson Pass, um, which is pretty legendary in the realms of extreme skiing, and we're going to debut a free ride event.
• 5:42
We were out on the course yesterday doing some preparation and logistics and figuring out how we're gonna pull out a 1,500 foot descent, um, down a pretty steep mountain that was actually used back in the day of the world extreme skiing competitions, and we're going to have some of the top-...
• 6:00
downhillers in the state give it a go and, and see what, uh, we come up with. Nice. That sounds like you ought to have, like, a couple of drones above that, and maybe some, uh, some video coverage.
• 6:13
Oh, yeah, we're totally, we're gonna load up with cameras.
• 6:15
We're gonna have drones, GoPros, everything, all kinds of cameras rolling, and, uh, one of the finest, uh, still photographers in the state, um, who also does some, uh, does a lot of bike photography, he'll be out there, um, taking some photos, so it will be well documented.
• 6:31
Awesome. Sure. And at the, uh, inaugural Fat Freeride Worlds, that has a, uh, cash- Yep... cash prize for the winner, right? That's right. We've got $2,000 cash prize.
• 6:42
Um, one of our sponsors, Copper Valley Telecom, is, um, offering up the, uh, a cash purse for that event to make it more lucrative for the riders to come out and give a-
• 6:53
Wow, man, it sounds like you've got a lot of fun going on the deck up there for the CFBB. [laughs] Thanks for being on the show with us and telling us what's happening. Bye bye, y'all.
• 7:03
Yeah, thanks so much for having and putting the spotlight on us. I really appreciate it. Yeah, that's up in Valdez, Alaska, there, March 18th to the 20th, 2016. AK's Alaska, right? Not Arkansas? Correct. Okay.
• 7:15
Yeah, [laughs] it's Alaska. Just checking. Just checking. [laughs] Hey, thanks again, Lee. Great to have you on the show, and, uh, I hope the event goes well. Send us some pictures. We'd love to see them.
• 7:25
We definitely will, and send your listeners over to true-fatbikebash.com, where they can learn more about the event and register right online. Yeah, we'll have a link in the show notes. Right on. [bell ringing] Oh,
• 7:37
sound, sound, sound, [laughs] sounds like it's top of the hill there, boys. Top of the hill, boys. Oh, I'm, I'm all out of Jamba Juice. [laughs] I'm all out of love. [laughs] All out of love.
• 7:49
Hey, uh, let's take a quick break, and when we come back to the show, we're gonna talk to our special guest, Matt Acker. You're tuned to Fat Bike Radio.

• 8:17
Learn more about Chumba's American-made Ursa Major at chumbausa.com. [upbeat music] All right, everybody, we're back. And on the horn right now, we've got Mr.
• 8:33
Matt Acker, and his rather legendary lead, or l- lead, [laughs] red beard. How's it going, Matt? Hey, guys. Good. How are you doing? Uh, Gomez, why do we have Matt on the show?
• 8:45
Matt holds the points lead in the Great Lakes Fat Bike Race Series, where there's only 470 points separating the top five positions. A race win is worth 500 points.
• 8:57
So it looks like the season is gonna come down to the Fat Bike Birkie in Cable, Wisconsin. Right on.
• 9:04
So Matt, let's start with, um, let's start with how you got into fat bike racing, just a little, uh, a little, uh, history lesson here. Yeah. So, uh, a couple years ago, the shop I was riding for at the time,
• 9:18
um, I stopped in there at the end of the mountain bike season, and they said, uh, "Hey, we got this sweet shipment of, you know, carbon fat bikes coming in," and asked if I was interested in demoing one for the winter, you know, just try it out, uh, maybe get the word out there.
• 9:32
And, um, I said, "Sure." You know, you never, never look a, well, a sweet bike towards it in the mouth, so- [laughs]... they hooked me up with a, a carbon fat bike. It was a pretty nice setup. Um,
• 9:46
you know, 45 North tires, all the goodies, uh, one by 11. I just started riding that and some local things, kinda getting used to, uh, riding in the different snow conditions.
• 9:58
We had a pretty good snow season that year here in Grand Rapids, Michigan, so that got me going.
• 10:05
And then the, uh, the next year, I did the Great Lakes Fat Bike Series, which was last year, and then that ended up going pretty well.
• 10:13
I had a good time traveling, meeting all the fine folks in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and of course my home state, Michigan. And then here we are now, doing the, uh, Great Lakes Fat Bike Series this year, so.
• 10:27
Leading the Great Lakes. Leading. Yeah. We're talking to the leader. [laughs] So- Yeah...
• 10:34
and we're, uh, we're d- probably eight races, eight, nine races into the season, tell us how, uh, how this season has been going for you.
• 10:42
Well, the, I mean, obviously, the, the standings kinda show I'm, I'm pretty stoked to be leading it right now. I- obviously, the Fat Bike Birkie's gonna be kind of the, the final showdown, uh, so to speak.
• 10:56
But really, it's just, it's been, uh, an awesome time. I mean, hooking up with the 45 North crew this year, riding with that team. Mm-hmm.
• 11:05
They got a lot of great riders, and, and really just being able to, to travel to Minnesota on a couple weekends and, and throw down with all the fast folks over there on that side of the, the Great Lake.
• 11:16
And, uh, it's been a pretty good time. I mean- Yeah... doing the races the, the way they are laid out, where, you know, the winners kinda find out where all the good snow is, or- Right... or isn't. Right.
• 11:30
So, uh, you know, there's a lot of travel, and it's kind of a taxing thing to, you know, every weekend get in the car, drive 10 hours sometimes, and, and race.
• 11:39
But, you know, just hanging out with all the good people and having some beers and stuff afterwards, dance parties, you know, that makes it all worth it, so. Absolutely. Dance, dance party. Whoop. Whoop.
• 11:49
So is it, is it safe to say that your, uh, your race speed has improved at the same level as your beard's manliness?
• 12:01
I mean, like, I remember, I remember you being around last season, but you didn't have the beard that I just saw up in Marquette.
• 12:10
Is it, uh, do, do you think that there's some sort of a biblical Samson beard thing going on with your speed? Yeah, you know, I, I think so.
• 12:19
I mean, it just seems like as the, as the beard has come into, into full bloom really, my legs have really just kind of followed suit. I mean, I think there's, there's some kind of geological happening going on
• 12:33
that it just, uh, the stars have all aligned, and it felt pretty good this year on the bike, and, and yeah, the beard's been coming right along too. So just kind of goes hand-in-hand, I think. Right on.
• 12:44
Do you use beard oil to kind of luster it up a little bit? You know, I, for a while I didn't, but, um,
• 12:52
like with the long winters and being out, I ride most of my miles outside, like my face and like my beard gets all coarse and dried out, so I checked out a few...
• 13:02
There's some pretty cool products made, like right in hipster central Michigan. So- [laughs]... uh, picked a few things up, tried it out.
• 13:10
I have to say, it, it seems to help, you know, kind of tame the mane, if you will. Yeah. [laughs] Yeah.
• 13:14
Well, well Gomez brought, uh, both JK and I back some Alaskan beard oil when he was up there last year, and, you know, it lasts a long time, and it smells good, and it's, you know, not just for the, for the fur, but also for the, the skin underneath the fur.
• 13:29
It's awesome. Oh, yeah. And his beard is, is magnificent, and it, it lived up to...
• 13:34
I mean, I was out there slogging through the, through the soft snow for many miles pushing my bike there in the race, and, uh, there were like, there were billboards about Matt's beard. Well, little signs. Right on.
• 13:49
So, yeah. So we're talking more about his beard than the [laughs] than the fact- I know... that he's racing some of the fastest guys in racing.
• 13:55
I noticed, uh, you know, when we're looking at the list of, of guys you're contending with, some of these guys are like perennial Chequamegon Fat 40, uh, fast guys. Have you done that, uh, that Chequamegon race before?
• 14:07
You know, I, I did a few years ago. The first time I did it, uh, I came out on single speed.
• 14:12
I just, I heard a lot of people talk about it, and I mean, here in Michigan, we've got, uh, races, like similar ones would be like the Oreshore up in Marquette. Mm-hmm.
• 14:21
And so I, I made the migration over there and, and gave it a shot, and I had a good time. And, uh, I really haven't managed to squeeze it back into the schedule though.
• 14:31
I mean, the fall is so packed with all kinds of good events. I'd, I'd like to get back over there, if not this year, but maybe the next year. Yeah, very cool.
• 14:39
So i- i- it's, having done it before, at least you, you have some idea of what the, the course is like, so that must be awesome. Yeah.
• 14:48
Yeah, I mean, the, the area's just, especially on that, you get on that Birkebeiner ski trail, it's just super rolling.
• 14:56
If you can, if the conditions allow you to carry your momentum, it, it makes a huge difference, but if you get bogged down at the bottom of those big rollers, I mean, it's just a dog fight trying to get back up and- Always seems like there's-...
• 15:08
really just a bit of a sprint... small lakes at the bottom of many of those parabolic hills. [laughs] Yeah, and during the, the, the Chequamegon race it's like sand, so- Yeah...
• 15:19
it, it just has momentum killers down there. So Matt, Matty Matt- Yeah, I think the- What's your plan of attack for Fat Bike Birkie? Uh, you know, you're only 15 points ahead of Jeff Hall in the standings.
• 15:32
Are you gonna, are you gonna sit in like Jeff's back pocket and, uh, you know, attack, or are you gonna, gonna wait till the turnaround? Uh, h- how are you gonna play it?
• 15:40
You know, I, Jeff and I have, have gone kind of head-to-head a couple of times this season already, where it's ended in a sprint and, and a coup- all those times he's gotten the better of me, whether it's been by a wheel or a bike length.
• 15:53
But, uh, I mean, that always helps the confidence factor coming in, knowing that we're, we're stacked that close, so I think I'm just gonna continue the same strategy, just, you know, hammer, hammer along.
• 16:05
I mean, Jeff's not a shy guy, like he's not afraid to put the power down, so, uh, you know, stay right with him, uh, try to throw in my digs when I can, and I'm always down for a good dog fight.
• 16:17
I mean, that's what makes it fun, so. Man, you know, I'm, I'm totally Facebook and excited to be up there and, and s- and see you, uh, the, you know, the top level guys do this.
• 16:26
Uh, I'll be shooting pictures on the sidelines and, uh, cheering you guys on. Yeah, there should be a, an elite group of about 10 to 12 riders that, uh, that it's gonna be hard to put time in on, and, uh, time will tell.
• 16:41
So, uh, I know we'll see you in that lead group, and, uh, we really appreciate you coming on the show. Yeah, we do. Yeah, thanks for having me, guys.
• 16:52
It was good chatting with you, and I look forward to running into you at some more events this year. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Hey, just, just as an aside, I think we, we got Ms. April Morgan on.
• 17:02
Uh, she's actually leading the ladies side of things, and, uh, uh, how you doing April? We got, uh, we got Matt Acker on the line too. Good. How are you guys doing? Oh, we're fantastic.
• 17:13
So since we have the two points leaders, I wanna stir the pot and see if, uh, April, you wanna challenge Matty Matt to a race? [laughs] Yeah, maybe if we could race on unicycles or something like that.
• 17:28
[laughs] Can you ride a unicycle there, Matt? Or if I could race against, maybe if I could race against Matt's beard. Oh. Oh. Oh. Yeah, that might be a tough one.
• 17:39
I mean, my beard always takes me to the line, like it's always beating me by a hair. [laughs] Oh. [laughs] Well, we're going to, uh, bid farewell to Matt and Matt's beard and rev up some вопросы для госпожи Апрель.
• 17:56
So hey, uh, see you later, Matt. Yeah, good luck, uh, this weekend. I'll be, uh, I'll be cheering for, well, everyone, but you in particular and your beard. Dude, I'm, I'm totally in your beard's corner. All right.
• 18:09
Thanks a ton, guys. All right, man. See you, Matt. All right, see ya. So, uh, you gonna welcome April to the show again? No. [laughs] Do I have to welcome her again? [laughs] Y- How welcoming do I have to be? Hmm. Hey.
• 18:26
Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey, welcome to the show, April. We're just, uh, we're just winging it right now. [laughs] We're just, uh, we're, we're aghast at, at Matt's beard, and now we have to focus.
• 18:40
So, uh, April's actually been on the show. It is kind of distracting. [laughs] I know. April's been on the show before. That she has. She's been- I have... a guest and she knows how things work here at Fat Bike Radio.
• 18:51
Yeah, we got the polar bears on gold chains, and she's used to helicopter rides or maybe hovercraft rides- Hovercraft... to the, to the starting line at one of them. The hovercraft.
• 19:01
[laughs] That would, that would be the 45 North, uh- Do they have, do they have a-... hovercraft... can I have a hovercraft? You should have me as your agent there, April- Do they have-...
• 19:10
'cause then, uh, you, I would get you, like, hovercraft rides and stuff. I'm just kidding. [laughs] Yeah, we'll have to work on that.
• 19:20
[laughs] Hey, so April, you have a slim lead, very similar to Matt's, and the ladies are even more tightly grouped in the first top, the top five podium spots.
• 19:31
Only 95 points separate four 45 [laughs] North girls and some interloper named Anna Sawadowski. Four 45 Ford Frick, Ford and North in front of the things.
• 19:46
How the hell did you girls let some interloper ruin your- [laughs]... total sweep of the podium? Well, um, technically speaking- [laughs]... there's only four of us 45 North girls, so- Oh...
• 19:59
that certainly leaves at least one spot, um, for someone else on the podium. But no, Anna's been having a really- Uh-oh. Uh-oh. April, [laughs] April's been abducted by aliens. [laughs] April, are you with us still?
• 20:18
Ruh roh. Uh, yeah. Oh. Oh, there she is. Yeah? Yeah, we just kinda lost you for a sec. Now we found you again. Okay. So we were talking about Anna and, and her interloping, and, uh, you were saying?
• 20:30
I was saying that what's, you know, that Anna's been having a really good year, and, you know, I think she's kind of an example of, you know, what's kind of happening with the, I think with the women's side of the Fat Bike series this year, is really, um, just been a tremendous increase in a lot of women out there racing.
• 20:45
I think she pa- in particular has been having an awesome year. Um, had, had a really great race, I remember, at, um, Penn Cycle Fat Tire Lopit, um, nabbing the third spot on the podium there.
• 20:55
So, um, really neat, and, and Anna actually comes from a triathlon background, so- Oh, wow...
• 21:00
um, seeing other, I guess, other disciplines kinda pick up fat biking is, is really great for the sport, and, you know, I'm pretty excited about her.
• 21:07
She's a, she's a Minneapolis local, so I definitely get to see her and, and, uh, her to stay in some local events, um, with her throughout the year. So- Cool...
• 21:16
um, yeah, so right now it looks like she's got that fourth spot, um, on the podium there, at least throughout the Birkie, right? Right on. So April, what is your favorite race out of the Great Lakes Fat Bike Race Series?
• 21:33
Ah, yeah, so my, my favorite race is, um, it's always kind of been Fat Bike Birkie. I think mostly, um, you know, they just do such a phenomenal job. They put on a really epic event. It's a great course.
• 21:44
It's got great grooming. It's got a really awesome post-race party. Um- Sponsored by fatbike.com. Thank you... you know, I think they just put cool packages together, and yeah, there you go.
• 21:53
[laughs] Um, but no, it's, uh, you know, I think really they just, you know, any race that draws 1,000 people is, is gonna be pretty epic and, and awesome, so. The stars do come out.
• 22:04
Yeah, I think for that reason it's, it's kinda my favorite. It, it draws a big crowd. It's competitive. Um, yeah. Killer. Fat Bike Birkie.
• 22:12
And now you're coming up to the Fat Bike Birkie against, dun, dun, dun, two-time winner, Jenna Reinhardt. So, uh, do you have a plan to totally conquer Jenna, or if all the...
• 22:29
Or, and she's not, she's not part of your team, but if you and Danielle and Jill and Anna are all, all in one big elite group and you're just, you're just watching each other, looking for cracks, when are you going to attack?
• 22:45
Or are you just hanging together and try and sprint for the line? Or, or is that a secret? Yeah, you know, I think... [laughs] Yeah, you know, Jenna's a really, obviously, a very strong racer.
• 22:56
She's been pretty talented for a lot of years and, um, she doesn't necessarily show up to a lot of Fat Bike races, but- Right... when she does, um, she always kinda brings her A-game.
• 23:04
So definitely don't expect anything different from her this weekend.
• 23:08
Um, what's kind of, I guess what's kinda unique to Birkie and maybe to a lot of the races in the Fat Bike series is it's got that whole mass start component.
• 23:15
So we certainly have that opportunity early on in the race to mix it up with the men, and, um, for the women at times, it is very difficult to, to really form women's packs in races like that.
• 23:27
It becomes really, you know, just kind of a mass event. And so I know early on I'll be looking to, um, try to make that good break. Jenna's generally a very good starter, um- Mm-hmm...
• 23:37
in the beginning of races, [laughs] and so, um, my goal will certainly be able to, um, be able to match her pace initially and, and really try to get in, get in with a great group initially.
• 23:47
I think the beginning of the, the Birkie race is, is quite hilly, and so, um, I think the second half probably suits me a little bit better as an, as a racer.
• 23:55
And so, um, that will be kind [laughs] of my strategy is, is to try to get in that front group with her, and then, um, yeah, hope that a season of Fat Bike racing has, uh, done me well. Yeah.
• 24:05
Yeah, this season's just a little different with how they start it out, because you get, like, you get, like, a mile rollout that's pretty much on a gravel road before you actually hit the trail, so- Right...
• 24:14
it's gonna be a little bit different- Yeah...
• 24:16
than, than previous Birkies, and, uh, uh, I think that's gonna be interesting because, eh, maybe it'll, uh, it'll, it'll let you get, you know, maybe a little, a little bit of a break on some of the- Hmm.
• 24:27
How about- Ci- citizens [laughs] How about, how about forming that 45 North train with Matt Acker's beard right up front? [laughs] And just- It would be nice to, to get some- [laughs]... behind the handlebars.
• 24:39
Skitch off, skitch off a beard. Yeah. I'm not gonna lie. [laughs] I would just say maybe bring a- It'd be cool... maybe bring a bungee cord and just hook on Matt's seat post for just the first mile or so and...
• 24:49
And here's the thing about Jenna. Ooh. Jenna knows that course like the back of her hand. Right. And I've always thought, "Ah, she's, she's got this thing dialed.
• 24:58
She knows where to punch it, where to, where to hold the line." Her line. So, uh, yeah, if you can keep Jenna in, in sight, that, uh, that'll be half the battle, then you just gotta beat her at the line. Right? Yeah.
• 25:13
[laughs] Yep. So I imagine it'll, it'll definitely be a challenging race.
• 25:18
I'm certainly looking forward to it, and, uh, yeah, that's what makes that race so exciting is, you know, it always draws the toughest competition year in and year out, and it's a really good, good chance for all of us to kinda see how we stack up, so looking forward to it.
• 25:28
Well, I'm hoping you save, uh, I, I'm hoping you save enough energy for the after party. Are you gonna be able to make the after party? [laughs] I always, I always make the after party. Come on.
• 25:39
Um, there's some awards It's the, the, the 45 Lim-... given that- The 45 North limo or helicopter will drop her off at the red carpet. Right in front of the sawmill there in downtown Seeley. [laughs] Yep.
• 25:51
And then, uh, you know- Yep... who, who will you be wearing that evening? Um, Chanel or... Oh, 45 North, of course. [laughs] 148, right? Duh. [laughs] [laughs] You got it. No, it'll be, it'll be an awesome party.
• 26:06
It is every year. Um, they always put on a great deal there, and I'm truly looking forward to it. It's kind of, for a lot of us, it's kind of the celebration of the end of the year.
• 26:14
And, you know, we kind of look at Fat Bike Birkie as kind of the, you know, the finale of, of an awesome winter of racing.
• 26:21
So I'm really looking forward to the race on Saturday, and then, um, of course, being able to relax and have a few beers afterwards, so. Right on. Well, well thanks for being on the show.
• 26:31
Thanks for- You've been a, an awesome guest. Well, thanks, well, thanks for having me, guys. All right. All right. That's April Morgan. There she is.
• 26:39
And we're gonna go ahead and take a break here, uh, 'cause that's what we do at this time in the show. Indeed. You're tuned to Fat Bike Radio. So I heard you need a fat bike. Come to Zion Cyclery in Zion, Illinois.
• 26:57
We have all brands: Trek, Borealis, Salsa, Felt, Surly, and more. Yo, we have all the cold weather gears by 45 NRTH and Bund Trigger. Keep those fingers and toes nice and toasty. We fix bikes also.

And, uh, on the horn, we've got a, we've got a caller from Idaho. Who's on the line? Tell us what your name is, sir, and, uh, how do you do? Chris Stewart. I'm doing good tonight. How are you guys? Chris Stewart.
• 27:43
Chris Stewart. [laughs] Sorry, our, our timing wasn't very good. Oh. I knew it was coming. What's up, Chris? [laughs] How are you, dude? And welcome to the radio program.
• 27:50
So I wanted to know what your guys' predictions were for the men and the women for Fat Bike, uh, Birkie. That's gonna be a tough call. Men is... The, the men? That's a tough one. The men's, we don't, we don't have Mr.
• 28:03
Ned Overends this year, do we? I'm going with Jordan Wakeley. Wow, really? That's bold. I know. I'm gonna go with Jeff Hall. Jeff Hall? Yep, 'cause he knows that course. He's been up there about 9,000 times.
• 28:15
And, uh, on the women's side, I'm, I'm going with J- That, that's about a, that's about a five-way horse race... I, I'm going Jenna Reinhardt 'cause she- She won the last two years. That's pretty easy to pick, you know.
• 28:25
We just talked to April. We, we... I'm gonna go with April 'cause- April. Oh... she was a nice guest on the show. She was so nice. Fun is just being like a weather vane. [laughs] Well, she was on the show. Well, yeah.
• 28:37
Gotta give her props. It's true. It's true. I know. Where's Jenna Reinhardt on the show? Nowhere. Right. Exactly. You know- She's never been on the show. You know who's gonna be on the show next week? Maybe Tim Berntson.
• 28:49
Ooh, fresh from his, uh, ITI 350 win. I know. Mm. Dude, he'll be back on the show. Right now, we have Chris Stewart. Chris, did you go to the US Nats there in Ogden? I did. I did. And did you race?
• 29:02
I, uh, raced the o- open elite category this year and- Uh-huh... uh, got myself, uh, fifth place. Whoa. Awesome. That's pretty cool. Yeah. So you were, uh, on le podium. Did you see, did you see Tinker Juarez and, uh...
• 29:18
Who else was there? And Mark Peterson's beard. Travis Brown. You probably- I didn't see the beard. [laughs] I saw Tinker. Nice. Isn't that...
• 29:26
You know, I think this is pretty cool that, that guys like Ned and Tinker are, are tinkering around with, uh, fat bike racing. It's just really fun.
• 29:33
I mean, I, I, I'm an old guy and I remember those guys back when they were, you know, the gods of mountain bike racing and just fantastic. I remember back in '92. [laughs] 19-0-2 back there. [laughs] Yeah.
• 29:46
That's pretty cool. So, uh- So Chris, are you, are you a younger dude or an older dude? I don't, you know. I'm in middle age, 32, so. That's, that's young. Yeah, that's, that's- Son, that's young, son...
• 29:57
way, way younger than us. God, I wish I was 32 again. Yeah, that'd be sweet. Oh, dude. So what did you think of the Nats there in Ogden?
• 30:05
Uh, we got some preliminary reports and some nice photos, but, uh, what did, what did you think of the event? It was good. It definitely was bigger than last year. Um, it was windy.
• 30:16
It was a bluebird day, but I mean, we're talking 20, 30 mile an hour winds, so it was definitely a, a tactical race. Mm-hmm.
• 30:23
Um, but- I saw an echelon with Will Ross and, like, four other guys that they were just like, "The wind is brutal." [laughs]Yep, uh, I, I think I was in that photo actually Oh, right on. So you're like, you're- Yeah...
• 30:36
photogenic and a star. See, Sven saw a picture- Yeah... of Will Ross- I saw a picture of Will... but I saw a picture of Will Ross in you. [laughs] Yeah. How's that for being a weathervane? All right, polar bear.
• 30:48
[laughs] On a gold chain. On a gold chain. Chris listens to the show. Yeah. He's listener number, like, four. [laughs] He, he's, he's the n- he's the new listener. He's our other listener. Right on. Yeah.
• 31:03
So Chris, have you heard of, uh- No, but I'm ex- I'm excited to, uh, for next year already, and, uh, head out to Grand Rapids, and then hopefully maybe even the Birkie next year. Dude, we will see you there.
• 31:16
I think that, uh, not to, um, m- put too fine a, a, a point on it, but Grand Rapids is gonna kick ass for the Nats compared to Ogden. Yeah. You know that- I-... big plateau- I mean, it's gonna be awesome...
• 31:30
surrounded by mountains in Ogden? We got a golf course [laughs] in Grand Rapids that's gonna kick that thing's ass. Yeah. Just kidding. It's gonna be fantastic.
• 31:41
The view might be a little different, but- Slightly different... yeah, I think the racing is gonna be- The air-... top-notch out there, for sure... the, the air, Chris, is gonna be, like, thick, like pudding to you.
• 31:52
Yeah, it'd be like you're at, like, 1,200 feet or... No, you're even lower than that. You're, like, 700 feet above sea level in Grand Rapids. Yeah, yeah. So- So much awesome- Breathe in the air.
• 32:02
You're gonna have, like... You remember that, that time that you put the hairdryer, uh, turbocharger on, on your lawnmower and rode that around the block? It's gonna be like that, even if you don't remember that.
• 32:15
Did you do that? That was- [laughs] Yeah. You force-fed your lawnmower? Who does- Hey, hell's the matter with you, boy? [laughs] Uh, we don't have enough time. It's only an hour show.
• 32:27
We really can't talk about [laughs] what's wrong with me. True that. That'd take a long time. All right. Hey, Chris. Awesome. Hey, congratulations on the fifth place there. That's- Yeah, man...
• 32:38
that's, uh- And thanks for pointing out all the disinformation that we're getting out of, uh, Ogden from our normal sources. Yes, I know it.
• 32:45
I think that, I think maybe, uh, Al-Qaeda or ISIS has turned our source, so, uh- Damn those guys. [laughs] Insurgency in the Greater Salt... What, what, what do they call the Great, the Great Salt Lake area?
• 33:01
Uh, Intensity in Ten Cities. [laughs] Ay, yay, yay. Hey, Chris, could you, uh, maybe- Yeah... introduce the next segment? It's, uh, it's the Fatty Farm Field Report.
• 33:14
Hey, this is Chris Stewart with, uh, Fatty Farm Field Report. Hey, this week's Fatty Farm Field Report is presented by Quiring Cycles.
• 33:22
Scott Quiring is an award-winning frame builder who handcrafts fat bikes designed to run up to 5.6-inch tires, or the maximum flotation exploration platform.
• 33:32
Visit quiringcycles.net to see the fattest rides on two wheels. No, it's supposed to be fastest. Fattest. The fattest tires. Didn't I say fastest? [laughs] Ah. So click that, uh, click that link.
• 33:48
Be whisked away to the Quiring Cycles, Quiring Cycles, uh, website, and then, uh, go shopping, for God sakes. And- Right on. Hey, thanks to Chris Stewart for introducing this segment. Yeah, thanks, Chris.
• 34:02
So my latest hair- You're welcome, guys. Oh, oh my God, I'm talking over the guest again. Oh, my God. Oh. All right. Call in anytime, Chris. We love to hear from you. Thanks. See you, dude.
• 34:13
Thanks for putting it on, guys. This is awesome. Can I have a beer, man? So my latest hair-brained scheme literally involves hair that's growing out of my skull. The spring shearing of the beards.
• 34:31
Sheared down to a quarter of an inch, and then, then we weigh the bounty of the beard harvest, and the person that guesses closest
• 34:42
to the 10th of a gram, so that's, like- So we have to buy a $10,000 scale to weigh it- Maybe... to the 10th of the gram? No, no, no. We just weigh it on the old Park, uh, tool scale, dude. Oh. Yeah. All right.
• 34:56
And, uh, they win everything in that prize package, which is, you know, a bunch of crap that I- Yeah, we're looking at a picture of it.
• 35:03
You people should see this, and if you check the show notes out I bet you could see what we're talking about. Hey, JK, tell the folks- [laughs]... what the buzz with the buzz. What's the buzz? What's the buzz?
• 35:14
Tell me what's happening. What's the buzz? Tell me what's happening. Yeah. A set of SKS Germany fat board fenders, an extra large Sweaty Yeti T-shirt, a 906 Poler Roll Palm Hat for closures, a Bontrager Palm Hat, decals,
• 35:31
and a sample of electrolyte-rich Pickle Juice. I just hatched this plan. So, uh,
• 35:38
we've asked many of our industry amigos to pitch in with some prizes, 'cause, you know, this is all just stuff that I won or got in goodie bags.
• 35:48
But just today, the Big Ride Ask, our friends at Specialized are gonna send a couple of helmets. Bontrager sent us some stuff. Frame Bikes is sending some stuff.
• 35:59
And, uh, and- Mm, you're good at getting shit out of people. Well, it's free. Especially this freaking Pickle Juice. Yeah, they, they kept on sending me these news releases.
• 36:09
[laughs] I just thought, "My God, this is like out of The Horse. This is a joke. This is, like, a for real section Pickle Juice," right?
• 36:16
So this is actually a, uh, "Supplying athletes since 2001 with neural inhibitors and 10 times more electrolytes." Hey, I like the idea of my, my neurons being inhibited. I did notice there's no vodka in it, though.
• 36:32
Yeah, so we're doing shots of pickle juice- Yes, I like this... live on the radio. So the last time I'm like, "Fine, you w- c- you gonna bug me with like the 10th email?
• 36:40
I'll taste your pickle juice live on the radio show taped." So- It's not just pickle juice, it's extra strength pickle juice. Extra strength pickle juice, 100% natural, which means dick. It doesn't mean anything. Right.
• 36:51
Natural flavors. It tastes like sweat. [laughs] Oh, no. Oh, no. [laughs] Oh. Did you just try to slam the whole thing? That is horrible. It does kind of- Tar...
• 37:05
okay, n- notwithstanding, there's actually no pickle juice in here. Ugh. It does- Oh, that's part of the natural flavor... it, it does have a semi pickle juice.
• 37:13
Yeah, it's pickley flavored, but it's kind of like those hamburger pickles. Speaking of hamburger pickles. Yeah? Travis is on the line. [laughs] Travis, I'm sending you some pickle juice.
• 37:25
I'm sending you one of these little 2.5 fluid ounce McThingers. I got another present for you too, but this is a lifetime supply. You'll never- [laughs] You'll never be in want of pickle juice.
• 37:38
I'll put it in my CamelBak. Oh. Better than putting it in your camel toe. I'm actually thinking of drinking more of this. It was horrible. Oh, I thought- What is wrong with you?
• 37:47
I thought you choked because I made a funny, but you- [laughs] I choked because you made a funny, but then pickle juice up the nose and, yeah, this is not my kind of pickle. Uh- Well, yeah, that's the thing...
• 37:57
I like a sweet- It's a different kind of brine... I like sweet baby gherkins myself. [laughs] I need some spices. Little more spicy. Oh, what would Freud say about drinking shots of pickle juice?
• 38:08
Well, I'm just saying that- It just sounds like code. [laughs] That somebody thinks this is a good idea. Yeah, like- I used to drink pickle juice. Yeah, but that was real pickle juice. Yeah.
• 38:17
Well, it's the same kind of s- And that was, and that was also a head trippy thing. Did you think that, did you think that this tasted- [laughs]... that this tasted good?
• 38:24
Maybe they have to make it taste bad for some people. I think it does taste pretty good. I think it- I would like, I would like it a little stronger. I was kind of- [laughs] I like, I like- You so sweatier.
• 38:37
[laughs] I like the funk. I- I want the funk house pickles- Whoa... in the pickle juice. So Travis is on the horn. Fat ambassador- What's up, guys?... to the Alaskan Range.
• 38:53
He's been, uh, providing us with lots of information from the ITI encrusted Alaskan racing scene. I feel like Travis is, you know, a rare and beautiful orchid that is in full bloom, full fat bike bloom there.
• 39:08
Yes, it is full fat bike blooming season up here, for sure. Yeah, it was an awesome weekend. The, uh, the expo went really well.
• 39:16
The ride, the big fat ride turnout was awesome with, uh, 468 showing up and, uh, went up on Sunday and caught the, caught the, uh, start of the ITI.
• 39:30
Yeah, it was, it has been, uh, awesomely busy, guys. So in the, I saw in the photos at the start there, they start right on Knik Lake, right? It- Correct. Right at the Knik Bar.
• 39:42
It looked like, uh, it was, uh, it looked like there was ice, but maybe, I don't know, an inch or two of water on top of it. It looked kind of wet. It was wet. Yeah.
• 39:53
At the start, yeah, the, the lake was covered in wet ice, and basically, I don't think they were looking to see much snow until they got about 15, 30 miles up trail.
• 40:05
Uh, basically once they kind of got around the Willow area, they started catching snow. And it might not even...
• 40:11
Yeah, it was probably more around the, you know, 10 to 15 mile range before they, they started hitting snow. But it's been really warm. Yeah, I mean, you know, they were, uh...
• 40:20
None of the guys even needed their heavy duty Arctic gear. Yeah, man, and Tim won. Tim and Heather. Tim. Tim. Brave Sir Tim. Yeah, isn't that awesome? Person. So another, uh, fat back sweep, man. That Greg- Yeah...
• 40:37
Mattis guy, he got it done. Is there- Why do, why do I keep- Why do I keep on drinking this pickle juice?... why do I keep drinking this? I, I, I'm not- I like, I'm not drinking the rest of mine.
• 40:46
I put my foot down or my cap back on, something. [laughs] He's putting a gnome on top of it. That'll stop him. No, that's just gonna break the gnome. [laughs] He put, he put that up a gnome's butt. Yikes.
• 40:59
So what else is going on, T-Bone? Well, uh, working on my ride up for you for the expo and the ride and the ITI kickoff, and, uh, next weekend we're gonna miss you, Gomez. The Big Fat Bike Festival in Homer.
• 41:17
Oh, and the Talkeetna Trio, too. Uh, yes, yes, and the Talkeetna Trio. Uh, I was- Which is the Real World Championships, after all. Right. Right. Yeah, I was really
• 41:30
sad to hear that, uh, they were both on the same weekend and I had already booked myself to the festival. Oh, man. You know, I mean- Homer's so cool... nothing wrong with going to Homer for the festival.
• 41:39
Yeah, and this year we're riding from Anchor Point back to Homer, 16 mile beach ride. They're busing us all over and dropping us off at Anchor Point, ride back to Homer. Yeah, they're busing you out there.
• 41:49
It's like government busing, taking all- Yeah... taking all of you out to, to integrate with the seals and the walrus and whatnot. Do, do they have government cheese too? 'Cause I like me some government cheese.
• 42:00
Government cheese. They better have some government cheese. [laughs] And then the after party at Alice's Champagne Palace. Woo. Hell yeah. No finer place to get drunk in Homer.
• 42:18
[phone ringing] Oh my God, my wife's calling me. [laughs] Should we get her? Why doesn't she just call the show? Hello? Hello. I'm, I'm recording the radio station. Hello? Tell her to call- I have to-...
• 42:30
tell her to call 818-918-2453. [laughs] Once again, that's 818-918-2453. She obviously doesn't listen to the show, does she? Um, I'm, I'm pretty sure she listened to one.
• 42:43
[laughs] Tra- Travis, does your wife listen to the show? Yeah, she does. Yeah, she likes to listen to it. Typically, uh, we'll throw it on Friday night, you know, after work.
• 42:56
Long week, couple cocktails going, and, uh, that's pretty mu- pretty much weekly routine, unless we're out Friday night. Nice. Yeah, she likes listening to it, for sure. Both of you in a set of silk pajamas.
• 43:08
Yeah, I was ama- I had several people come up to me at the expo, uh, tell me that they love the Weekly Dose of Fat. It was really cool. Oh, that's pretty good of us.
• 43:18
Like, "Wow, I'm not the only o- I'm not the only listener." [laughs] He said several, so now we have several listeners. Wow. Nice. Dang. Yeah.
• 43:27
Yeah, b- four or five different people told me that, uh, yeah, they listen every week. It was awesome. And, like, if it weren't for the guy from Alaska- If I'd have a pipe, I'd bomb love...
• 43:34
we wouldn't even listen to that show. [laughs] I just, uh, opened up this crazy real ginger bite agave nectar ginger spectacular ginger ale. So yeah, it's a mouthful. Can you say ginger more? Ginger.
• 43:52
So, uh- Speaking of gingers. Yeah. Out of Brooklyn, New York. I'm a ginger. That's what I'm saying. I was just saying, speaking to gingers. [laughs] Really? Travis, you're a ginger? A ginger. Crazy. Yeah, yeah.
• 44:05
It's been so long since I've seen you. Well, there's a lot more gray in it, a lot more gray now. My beard used to be, like, fire red, and it is no longer that really cool color. Hmm.
• 44:15
I always had brown hair, but I had a red beard for a while. I don't know what the hell happened to it. Huh. Probably too much old in my beard.
• 44:23
[laughs] Yeah, somebody commented on Instagram this week, "Whoa, you're older than I thought that I thought you were." Like, thank you. Yeah, but did they say you're cooler than I thought you were? [laughs] 'Cause-
• 44:36
Yeah, well, yeah. That, that- No... that go, that goes without saying. No, but I've drank more pickle juice than they have brown liquor. Oh, my God, I can't finish that. [laughs] I'm gonna finish it.
• 44:46
[laughs] He's gonna finish it. Can w- I'm gonna go get the bottle of vodka- I'm s-... just put a little... I'm sick. Quitter. [laughs] So, uh- Mike's already way done with his. Oh, yeah.
• 44:55
You've been rubbing elbow- elbows with, uh, with fat bike royalty. Or you had, uh, you had a Ray Molina sighting, right? Yeah. Yes, got to meet Ray. Uh- That's fantastic...
• 45:08
dude, I've never even, never even seen a picture of the guy in my life, and I'm sitting at the back door of the expo Friday morning, uh, helping people get their stuff inside.
• 45:20
And, uh, these two guys walk up, and one of them is this shorter, little older guy, and he's walking in with, uh, what I at the time wasn't quite sure what the hell it was, old school fat bike. Yep.
• 45:35
And I'm like, "That's gotta be Ray." And, uh, yeah, walked up, introduced myself, and man, that dude is so cool. Super nice guy. Nice. And he loves stock fat bikes. Yeah.
• 45:47
Yeah, we, we mostly owe our fat bike- Yeah, he's, he's so pumped... existence to Ray in no small part. Correct. Correct. And that was one of the super, it was my favorite part of the expo.
• 45:57
It closed out Saturday night with the round table with the pioneers, Mark Grunwald, Craig Madrid, Greg M- uh, Matheus, uh, John Evingston. Um, it was, it was awesome just sitting there listening to these guys talk
• 46:15
about evolution of the fat bike from the creators. It was super cool, man. Yeah, it was- Did, did you ask him-... coolest thing ever... did you ask him what they thought of roadies getting involved in our fine sport?
• 46:28
[laughs] Oh, no. No, I think if I'd have asked that question, I'd have been strung from the rafters, man. [laughs] I believe you'd, you'd get your ass kicked saying something like that.
• 46:39
Yeah, like, you know, he's got a bad case of the Mondays. That sort of- Ba, da, da, da... yeah, Tim- [laughs]... Tim gave a, Tim gave a talk. No, keep on talking. Yeah, it was, uh- We're, we're, we want you to talk...
• 46:52
it was cool, man. The, the, the, hearing, hearing, uh, Jay and, and Tracy and Tim Bernsten and Jeff Olely, uh, give talks about their experiences on the trail, man, it was out of this world. It was...
• 47:05
Yeah, you guys gotta make it out next year. It, it's on the bucket list- And, yeah... for sure. Sven's afraid to go. For sure. Yeah. I'm not, I just can't leave the family or they'll yell at me too loudly.
• 47:15
[laughs] I'll, I'll hear them up there. They'll be like, "Where the hell are you?" I'm not afraid to go. Not, Gomez isn't afraid to go. But that's, you know, we have- Yeah, that was-... we have you now, Travis.
• 47:26
You are our fat ambassador to Alaska th- and the Brooks Range and, and Wasilla and, and everyth- everywhere. And Valdez, which apparently is on the ocean, and I didn't know that. Yeah. It is. Valdez is awesome.
• 47:42
Super beautiful place. One of my favorite spots in Alaska, and I, uh, I got to meet Lee at the expo this weekend. She was telling me all about her event. And, uh, that's gonna be hair ball, man.
• 47:54
That mountain and that downhill thing, that, I can't imagine anybody doing that without full face and full body armor kind of stuff. Wow. Sounds fun. Did Lee say anything? Did Lee mention me? Yeah. [laughs] She did.
• 48:11
[laughs] Oh, I'm just kidding. So yeah. Hey, hey, JK, do we have our taco order in yet? I don't believe so. Is there a Denver number calling in? Should we, should we text, should we text Agent Colin? Agent Colin.
• 48:28
Tim, can, can you put- The taco, the taco, the taco avatar is not in place. Can you, can you put our taco order in? Call up, uh, call up Z and tell him to make some chicken tacos, damn it.
• 48:39
You know, the, the, the, the, the, the pub we stop at, at right after the show stops serving tacos at 9:00, so we gotta get our taco order in. Stat Stat.
• 48:51
I'm, I can't do two things at once, so I might not talk for a little while. Um- That's okay, Travis'll talk. What's the order? [laughs] I, I'll have two chicken tacos or- All right... whatever Dave feels like making.
• 49:05
So Sven is actually our Instagram takeover. It's not much of a takeover since he's always able to post on there. So- Not, not that he does at all much...
• 49:15
that's before we give you the special designation and you visited a fascinating place like the Fat Bike Birkie with literally 999 other fat bikers to shoot pictures of, encouraged to do stupid things and- Oh, oh, oh.
• 49:32
This is making- Oh, oh... this makes it better. I get to encourage them to do stupid things? You, you could bring- I, um... along a hand- a handful of those magic beans or- This is way better now...
• 49:41
or fatbike.com, like, stickers or, or buttons and be like, you know, "Do something stupid and you get one of these." Yeah, I have a new purpose in life. Boom. Make people do stupid shit. Boom.
• 49:53
We, we had our, uh, we had an open house down there at the Schlick Cycles, uh, thing the other day, uh, and did a stupid skid mark contest thing right in the hallway here [laughs] at the old, uh, building. Yeah?
• 50:05
Was that fun? It was. Nice. When do I get to, when do I [laughs] get to ride that trike again? Mm. Have you like- We, we, we have not strengthened it- [laughs]... to ride it yet.
• 50:15
[laughs] We bent the crap out of that thing. It's a, it's a Schwinn trike that we made into a fat bike thing. It's really cool looking, but apparently they use, um, subpar aluminum in their frame tubing area.
• 50:28
I, yeah, yeah. We bent the crap- Mm... out of that thing. It's bent back now. Yeah. [laughs] Nice. Cold forging. Oh, my God. Maybe it should've been heat treated a little bit longer. I don't know.
• 50:41
Yeah, so as Sven's taking over the old Instagram- All right, I'll-... you can, uh, you can click- I'll endeavor to, uh, put pictures of my food and maybe the tire on my car, stuff like that.
• 50:52
Doesn't have to be anything that exciting. [laughs] Oh. But it should have something to do with fat bikes maybe. My car took me up there in fat bike. I gotta, I gotta eat food and- To fuel you to ride your fat bike...
• 51:05
to fuel to... No, I got an electric fat bike now. [laughs] I don't need that fuel crap. I, I thought it was only pedal assist. Oh, that thing was awesome on the beach.
• 51:13
I took it out to the beach last Sunday when it was, like, 78 degrees out or whatever it was here, and you can go 20 miles an hour on the beach, which I'll tell you what, it's way different than going like- I bet you would...
• 51:23
  80. Normally we go about 8, 9, 10 miles an hour. Right, right. This is a much different animal, 'cause you can make, like, cool sounds when you're doing it. You're like, [blows raspberry]
• 51:33
'cause the motor doesn't make any noise on it. Oh. It's quiet. So you're making those noises- So I just said-... with your mouth... you, I said y- I said you can, but I meant I can. But when you say you, it means me.
• 51:43
[laughs] No. So you don't make those noises. [laughs] It goes like this. [blows raspberry] The show has devolved into fart noises. It's not a fart noise. It's a [blows raspberry] I think that perhaps we should maybe
• 52:01
go into the, skip the special segment. What special segment? And we, and we, there's no Denver Dope Report, so. Oh, 'cause Colin's probably sampling the, this week's yield. Yeah. He, he said he had a chest cold- Oh...
• 52:14
so- Oh... he might not be able to call in. But- Is there an a- is there an, is there an Anchorage, uh, Dope Report? We, we should have a, we should have, like, a Seattle Dope Report.
• 52:22
We should have a, uh, or maybe what about MEAL? Anywhere where, anywhere where it's legal. Exactly, 'cause we, we don't do the illegal things. We're just happy that, happy for all those folks in Colorado. Right.
• 52:36
Et cetera. Oh, dear Lord. Now, oh, what is it? "Hey, Tim Berntson's gonna be on the show next week." That was a text that just came through. Right on. Tra- Oh, and Colin just, "Dude, I feel like total shit.
• 52:50
I'm nearly asleep already. I'll have to call next week. Sorry." I think we can expect this on a regular basis. Yeah. To- All right, Travis... till we, till we get rid of all our pesky, pesky listeners and sponsors.
• 53:07
[laughs] Well, I don't know, the wellness clinics, they make pretty good money. Maybe they should start sponsoring this. That's, I have to talk to Colin. I'm like, "You know, come on." Wellness clinic.
• 53:18
It's a wellness center. Clinic, center, whatever. Whatever. All right, Travis, we're gonna wrap this bad Oscar up and get the hell out of here. Hey, Travis, our show this evening- Well, man, you guys have a good night...
