- 0:00Speaker 1: Stirring the pot one morning at a time. Welcome looking
- 0:05Speaker 1: through the Alabama Show.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I did something today that may have been the hardest
- 0:20Speaker 2: thing I've ever done in my entire life.
- 0:22Speaker 3: What would you say that is?
- 0:24Speaker 2: I made my own coffee instead of going to Starbucks.
- 0:27Speaker 3: You know we've been down this road before.
- 0:29Speaker 2: And I brought it in.
- 0:31Speaker 3: It doesn't usually turn out well, is it.
- 0:34Speaker 2: No, I'm trying because I'm trying to lose weight to
- 0:36Speaker 2: fit in this dress for this event that I've got
- 0:38Speaker 2: a host and me and chat GPT had a conversation
- 0:41Speaker 2: about it yesterday and it said my Starbucks order was
- 0:44Speaker 2: not conducive to losing weight because I get vanilla sweet
- 0:47Speaker 2: cream and it's like, no, no, no, honey, you can't
- 0:50Speaker 2: do that. So I tried to make my own coffee today.
- 0:52Speaker 2: So we'll see how today goes.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Did you add vanilla sweet cream?
- 0:54Speaker 2: No, I don't have that at home. I put a
- 0:56Speaker 2: little bit of natural sugar, just the tiniest tiny bit,
- 1:00Speaker 2: and pistaschio milk.
- 1:02Speaker 3: What is pistasio milk?
- 1:04Speaker 2: I'll worry about it. It's a rabbit hole. Just know
- 1:06Speaker 2: that this is better for me, and that's why I
- 1:08Speaker 2: got to work early today. Because I didn't have to
- 1:11Speaker 2: drive thirty minutes out of the way to go get
- 1:13Speaker 2: by coffee.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I was confused while you were here.
- 1:16Speaker 2: We'll see how this week goes anyway. Good morning. If
- 1:21Speaker 2: you make your own coffee at home, tell me what
- 1:23Speaker 2: you do to make it good, because I cannot make
- 1:25Speaker 2: good coffee it is so bad. Eight three three five
- 1:28Speaker 2: oom Bama is the number to call the show. Good morning.
- 1:32Speaker 2: It's what the hell headlines? What the hell are you
- 1:35Speaker 2: talking about? On the Alabama Show, Mark Zuckerberg is making
- 1:40Speaker 2: an AI clone of him to sit in on meetings.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Why how much is it to do that for us?
- 1:46Speaker 2: I know, well, it may be a thing. So the
- 1:49Speaker 2: CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, who created Facebook, is working
- 1:54Speaker 2: on an AI clone of himself, according to the Financial Time,
- 1:57Speaker 2: So they say that they're training the AI avatar to
- 2:01Speaker 2: be just like him, and then they say if that's successful,
- 2:04Speaker 2: Meta may start allowing creators to make AI avatars of
- 2:08Speaker 2: themselves if the experiment succeeds. So basically, AI literally is
- 2:15Speaker 2: taking over.
- 2:15Speaker 3: This can get very powerful, very quick.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Super easy trivia with the Alabama shall eight three three
- 2:23Speaker 1: five I one bemas the number to play.
- 2:25Speaker 2: We have Benson Boone tickets the rest of the week. Tiffany,

- 2:34Speaker 2: Thank you for what you do. I know that's got
- 2:35Speaker 2: to be a hard and stressful job, so we appreciate you.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Thank you. How do you like the new floor? Didn't
- 2:43Speaker 2: y'all just like redo a whole new floor with a
- 2:45Speaker 2: bunch of ICU units at Children's.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, we've had several units move into the big
- 2:50Speaker 4: diom and restl building and get new units.
- 2:52Speaker 2: And it's really young. That is awesome. Okay, Tiffany, I
- 2:55Speaker 2: know why you're really calling. You don't want to talk
- 2:57Speaker 2: about work. You want to win Benson Boone tickets, don't you?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Sure?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:02Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, all right.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I'll ask the questions, you give the answer. It's real easy.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Producer Blake is your lifeline if you need him, Tiffany,
- 3:09Speaker 2: Question number one. Jacob Black is a character in What
- 3:14Speaker 2: Stephanie Meyer book series Jacob Black Jephany Myer Birthday. It's
- 3:19Speaker 2: also a movie series. Oh my gosh, I should ask
- 3:23Speaker 2: my sixteen year You ask your sixteen year old real quick?
- 3:29Speaker 2: Is it Twilotte Twilight is it? Did your sixteen? Did
- 3:33Speaker 2: you just giggle that? I actually just thought about it? Okay, Tiffany.
- 3:40Speaker 2: How many legs does a dog have? Poor? For? Is it?
- 3:43Speaker 2: And last one for the win? Much easier than the
- 3:46Speaker 2: first one? How many continents are there? Seven would be correct?
- 4:01Speaker 2: If I would have said, Edward Cullen, would you have known?
- 4:04Speaker 2: Would you have known?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Twilight?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Then? Y okay, God, okay, yourengratulations, you're going to Benson Boone?
- 4:11Speaker 4: Yay, thank you.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You with the Alabama Show, we are officially under a
- 4:18Speaker 2: state wide fire alert due to drought conditions. The Alabama
- 4:21Speaker 2: Forestry Commission just issued the alert. Fifty wildfires were reported
- 4:26Speaker 2: across Alabama this weekend and it burned more than twenty
- 4:29Speaker 2: three hundred acres. There's no rain in sight, so this

- 4:55Speaker 2: do first class, you got to send it by May
- 4:57Speaker 2: first for your mom to get it. Billy Eilish has
- 5:01Speaker 2: a puppy room on tour. Do you see she dropped
- 5:03Speaker 2: her trailer for her upcoming concert film.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I didn't see the trailer, but I know she dropped
- 5:10Speaker 3: the trailer yet.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So it shows her and her crew playing with puppies.
- 5:14Speaker 2: And this is what she had to say about it.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Who are is so brutal and so like taxing? And
- 5:20Speaker 5: oh I like to have a puppy room for the
- 5:23Speaker 5: guys to kind of go chill in. We try to
- 5:27Speaker 5: have whatever rescue organization is around and available to bring
- 5:32Speaker 5: the dogs and puppies and Janie's.
- 5:34Speaker 2: That need homes.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Multiple people on my crew have adopted dogs from tour.
- 5:39Speaker 5: Everyone needs some dog love.
- 5:41Speaker 2: This would be me if I were a pop star. Actually,
- 5:44Speaker 2: you know what, how do we get a puppy room
- 5:46Speaker 2: outside the studio every day every day? If you are
- 5:49Speaker 2: a local animal shelter and you would like to sponsor
- 5:52Speaker 2: our new puppy room that we're going to do Inspired
- 5:54Speaker 2: by Billy Eilish called the show that's three things you
- 5:57Speaker 2: need to know. More at the Alabama Show. See Alabama
- 6:02Speaker 2: Show onto Me.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It's free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Good Morning. I went what's your issue for? Ask Alabama.
- 6:08Speaker 2: My roommate wants me to split the bill on streaming services,
- 6:11Speaker 2: and I don't think I should. Oh no, that's why
- 6:15Speaker 2: we do ask Alabama. If you ever have an issue,
- 6:17Speaker 2: we try to help. Call the show. Eight three thirty five.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I one Obama is the number? What's going on?
- 6:22Speaker 3: So, like we split bill fifty fifty at our house? Okay,
- 6:26Speaker 3: but he just asked me to split.
- 6:27Speaker 2: The bill for like all the streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Max,
- 6:33Speaker 2: like all the streaming.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Stuff that he uses. Okay, but like I don't really
- 6:38Speaker 3: want any of it.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I work full time and I'm always exhausted when I
- 6:41Speaker 1: get home from work, and like I don't.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Care about it.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Do you ever watch anything?
- 6:46Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I might watch sometimes if you've got
- 6:48Speaker 1: it on, and I'll sit down.
- 6:49Speaker 3: And watch it with him, But like, I don't go
- 6:51Speaker 3: out of my way.
- 6:52Speaker 2: To log in and find stuff to watch. So what'd
- 6:55Speaker 2: you say when he asked you to split those bills?
- 6:58Speaker 2: I told those straight up. I was like, hey, man,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I would rather not pay for half of it, and
- 7:03Speaker 2: he says it's part of a living together, and I'm
- 7:05Speaker 2: being unfair. I like like, okay, not mine. Does that
- 7:10Speaker 2: seem unreasonable? Like Producer Blake, you.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Don't pay a half for no streaming. That's not how
- 7:16Speaker 3: that works. If I don't use it, I ain't paying.
- 7:18Speaker 3: It's like if I don't go eat a meal at
- 7:20Speaker 3: a restaurant.
- 7:21Speaker 2: For you, man, you're also the guy who has left
- 7:24Speaker 2: all of your stuff at your old landlord's house and
- 7:28Speaker 2: won't move it out of the room. And you're not
- 7:30Speaker 2: paying rent anymore.
- 7:32Speaker 3: This isn't about me.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I don't listen to Producer Blake. He's being cheap. This
- 7:35Speaker 2: is about you.
- 7:36Speaker 3: No, this is about Owen.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Does it matter?
- 7:38Speaker 3: Oh my opinion doesn't matter. And I need you to
- 7:41Speaker 3: understand something you don't pay.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Do you eat his groceries or like use more water
- 7:47Speaker 2: than he does?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Or no way we're going this route? No way?
- 7:51Speaker 2: No, like we pretty much lit like groceries, like I
- 7:54Speaker 2: buy my own groceries.
- 7:55Speaker 3: He might say, we kind of keep.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It separating the bridge, but like utilities, of course we
- 8:00Speaker 2: spit the rent, the water, electricity, gas, whatever. This is
- 8:05Speaker 2: why I don't have roommates. Called the show, what's the
- 8:09Speaker 2: most ridiculous thing your roommate has ever asked you to
- 8:12Speaker 2: help pay for? Eight three three five I one Bama
- 8:15Speaker 2: is the number. That's eight three three five oh one
- 8:17Speaker 2: two two six two.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Y Alabama show on to Man Free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I have a ridiculous thing a roommate asked me to
- 8:25Speaker 2: pay for one time?
- 8:26Speaker 3: What did they ask you to pay for?
- 8:27Speaker 2: By the way, called the show? Eight three three five
- 8:29Speaker 2: O one Bama is the number because Owen called his
- 8:31Speaker 2: roommate wants some to split streaming services and they're fighting
- 8:34Speaker 2: over it. I had a roommate right out of college
- 8:38Speaker 2: asked me to pay the whole water bill because I
- 8:41Speaker 2: had a boyfriend come over and take a shower one time.
- 8:44Speaker 3: The whole water bill because he took a shower. That
- 8:48Speaker 3: seems like an unreasonable person.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I know, what did your roommates ask you to pay for?
- 8:52Speaker 2: You've had a bunch of roommates, You've lived with a
- 8:54Speaker 2: bunch of dudes.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, but we were I've never had an issue, really,
- 8:58Speaker 3: yeah never. We were all just like, pay for what
- 9:00Speaker 3: you do. We're good. I don't care I do not
- 9:02Speaker 3: care what you do. That's so chill.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Girls are not like that.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I didn't I've never heard someone saying, you had somebody
- 9:08Speaker 3: come over one time, you pay for it all. I
- 9:11Speaker 3: don't understand that. That seems crazy.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I know it was so weird. Call the show eight
- 9:15Speaker 2: three three, five o one and Bama is the number.
- 9:17Speaker 2: What's the craziest thing you've ever had a roommate ask
- 9:19Speaker 2: you to pay for? That's eight three three, five oh
- 9:21Speaker 2: one two two sixty two.
- 9:23Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know you with the
- 9:26Speaker 1: Elemmma Show.
- 9:27Speaker 2: The Painted Tree just closed their two eighty location after
- 9:31Speaker 2: less than a year. So this was a boutique mall
- 9:33Speaker 2: where different local vendors had booths and they made the
- 9:36Speaker 2: announcement yesterday they're closing more than sixty of their stores nationwide,
- 9:40Speaker 2: so the one on two eighty was one of the stores.
- 9:42Speaker 2: But a lot of the shop owners were told about
- 9:44Speaker 2: the closure yesterday. And these are a lot of local
- 9:46Speaker 2: vendors who came in and had a booth and that
- 9:49Speaker 2: was their source of income. So if you're a fan
- 9:51Speaker 2: of a local business who is at the Painted Tree,
- 9:53Speaker 2: I would go order from their website today and show
- 9:55Speaker 2: them your support. It is tax Day. If you've not
- 9:59Speaker 2: done your t yet, get on it. Also, there's a
- 10:01Speaker 2: ton of places doing deals for today. Subway has a
- 10:04Speaker 2: free foot long when you buy a foot long. Krispy
- 10:06Speaker 2: Kreme is giving people who buy any dozen donuts say
- 10:09Speaker 2: second original glaze donut dozen for free. Pizza Hut has
- 10:13Speaker 2: a large three topping pizza for ten bucks. Some other
- 10:16Speaker 2: places with deals Popeye's, Qdoba, Burger King. There's a lot.
- 10:20Speaker 2: So just wherever you go today, I would say, hey,
- 10:23Speaker 2: do you have a deal today for text Day and
- 10:25Speaker 2: see if you can save some money? Do you see?
- 10:28Speaker 2: Nick Jonas is going to star in a new Netflix
- 10:30Speaker 2: rom Calm.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I've seen about this, I don't know anything about the
- 10:33Speaker 3: info yet, and.
- 10:34Speaker 2: He's playing a lifelong bachelor who becomes the guardian of
- 10:36Speaker 2: his cousin's baby. So he's going to be a dad
- 10:39Speaker 2: overnight and I cannot wait to see this. He'd be
- 10:42Speaker 2: a hot dad. I love Nick Jonas. He's also he's
- 10:46Speaker 2: busy on screen right now. He's starring in an upcoming
- 10:49Speaker 2: Paul Rudd comedy. There's a new holiday scary movie that
- 10:52Speaker 2: he's in, and then he's also gonna bring back his
- 10:55Speaker 2: role in this year's Jimunji three. So he's real busy
- 10:58Speaker 2: on screen right now. I don't think he takes a
- 11:00Speaker 2: hot dad thick Jonas coming to a theater near you,
- 11:04Speaker 2: actually to your TV screen because it's on Netflix. That's
- 11:07Speaker 2: three things you need to know more at the Alabama
- 11:10Speaker 2: Show dot com.
- 11:12Speaker 1: The Alabama Show on to men. It's amazing free on
- 11:15Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app.
- 11:16Speaker 2: We had Tennessee representing on Artemis two. How so, there
- 11:21Speaker 2: was an American Paper Optics. They are out of Bartlet.
- 11:25Speaker 2: They made the solar eclipse glasses that the astronauts wore
- 11:30Speaker 2: while they were going around the Moon because they saw
- 11:31Speaker 2: a solar eclipse around there.
- 11:33Speaker 3: That's sick, I know, so cool.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I know. It's also the same kind of glasses that
- 11:37Speaker 2: we're going to need for the next solar eclipse in August.
- 11:40Speaker 2: So if you want to be cool and be like
- 11:42Speaker 2: I'm like the astronauts on Artemis two, go to Bartlet
- 11:44Speaker 2: and go to American Paper Optics and be like, hey,
- 11:48Speaker 2: I need some of your eclipse glasses like they wore
- 11:50Speaker 2: on Artemis.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I want to be as cool as an astronaut.
- 11:52Speaker 2: But yeah, we do have a solar eclipse coming in
- 11:54Speaker 2: August two. But they are what's awesome so American paper optics.
- 11:58Speaker 2: That is super cool.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Alabama Show on demand free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Eight three three five Am Bama is the number to
- 12:06Speaker 2: call the chef if you want to share good news. Katie,
- 12:08Speaker 2: good morning, Do you have some I do? What's your
- 12:11Speaker 2: good news?
- 12:12Speaker 4: I have lost one hundred pounds.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, let's go, Katie.
- 12:17Speaker 2: How did you do that? Because I have three weeks
- 12:19Speaker 2: to fit in a dress and I gotta drop some pounds.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Well, I had surgery, so oh yeah, we.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Ain't doing that well. Good for you. And I'm sure
- 12:29Speaker 2: you had to change your diet too when you had
- 12:30Speaker 2: the surgery, didn't you? I did? How has that been?
- 12:34Speaker 4: It was hard at first?
- 12:35Speaker 2: Girl. Have you gotten to go buy new outfits yet
- 12:38Speaker 2: and go out?
- 12:39Speaker 4: Yes? Yes?
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yes? What was that like?
- 12:42Speaker 4: It was very emotional.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I love that. That is so amazing. One hundred pounds
- 12:47Speaker 2: is a big deal. I'm giving you.
- 12:49Speaker 4: The erborn kid is another funny thing, real quick. I
- 12:55Speaker 4: grew up in Locas Fork, Okay. And I'm throwing through
- 12:58Speaker 4: Facebook the other day and somebody there was peacock in
- 13:00Speaker 4: their yard and somebody tagged you and said it's Troy, Alabama.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Only in Black County. You see people tagging people got
- 13:12Speaker 4: a peacocks?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what in the blank county? Has my life become.

- 13:23Speaker 3: I don't know. When I was younger, probably better than
- 13:26Speaker 3: I am now.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Thanks for listening to the Alabama Show.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I'm Alabama.
- 13:29Speaker 2: My producer Blake, Well, you're going to be a camp
- 13:31Speaker 2: counselor again this summer and you've got to be out
- 13:34Speaker 2: in the wilderness with kids showing them how to survive.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah, so where are you going with this? What are
- 13:41Speaker 3: you trying to do right now?
- 13:42Speaker 2: Well, I was walking my property the other day.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Is this to relate to anything you've posted in the
- 13:48Speaker 3: past few days?
- 13:49Speaker 2: And I live in the middle of the wood.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I don't want it.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I'm nowhere And in country life you find random crews
- 14:00Speaker 2: in your yard.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I know where that.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Okay, so this is.
- 14:03Speaker 2: The most random critter and I am terrified, like I
- 14:08Speaker 2: want to burn my house down.
- 14:10Speaker 3: I know what you did, and I don't don't put it,
- 14:14Speaker 3: do not do not put it up here. I need
- 14:16Speaker 3: to know.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I caught the snake. I caught found the snake. I
- 14:20Speaker 2: found the actual snake. Yeah, and I need you to
- 14:23Speaker 2: tell me if it's poisonous.
- 14:26Speaker 3: This is gonna end bad for whatever. Okay, Well, first
- 14:32Speaker 3: of all, I don't want to touch this. I don't
- 14:35Speaker 3: know where you're you're supposed to scream louder than that.
- 14:38Speaker 3: It's snake skin. You can take your eggs back. I
- 14:43Speaker 3: don't want that.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Have you ever seen a snake head?
- 14:46Speaker 3: Yeah, like the face.
- 14:47Speaker 2: It's a fully intact, freaking snake skin. It was fresh
- 14:53Speaker 2: when I found it. It even has skin over where
- 14:55Speaker 2: the eyeballs were. What kind of thing? How long is this?
- 15:00Speaker 3: That's about Oh that's a good like four and a
- 15:02Speaker 3: half five foot.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's a big, well wild blake. Tell
- 15:09Speaker 2: me if this is poisonous or not touch it.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I don't want to touch it. I don't want touch it.
- 15:12Speaker 3: I don't touch it. I don't touch it.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I touch it.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I don't touch it.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I'm touching you with it. Pick it up like a man.
- 15:17Speaker 2: You gotta be in the wilderness. Pick it up like
- 15:20Speaker 2: a man. I don't like this. I don't like it.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I don't like scales, scales, scare me, I'm not joking.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Skin, don't break it. That's the coolest snake skin I've
- 15:29Speaker 2: ever found. Trying to not okay, literally has the head
- 15:32Speaker 2: all the way to the tail.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Well.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Based off the head shape, it does not look venomous. No,
- 15:36Speaker 3: it looks like a common garden snake.
- 15:40Speaker 2: That's not a garden snake. That's a snake or a
- 15:42Speaker 2: king snake. Eight three three five Obama is the number
