- 0:00Well, it's going to be back. I hope everybody had a happy Merry
- 0:02Christmas. Yeah, I'm going to miss I'm gonna miss playing the It's the
- 0:05holidays, you know, But I know all good things come to an end.
- 0:08Until next November, I'll be back in full force. But Happy New
- 0:12Year to everybody as well. I was on a long extended holiday in the
- 0:16state of Florida, where we had just moved from, to visit my wife's
- 0:18dad's a little in law vacation. Amanda. I know you went through this
- 0:22for the Thanksgiving. I did. Yeah, they were actually here for a
- 0:25nice long weekend as well. Yeah, they were here at the yesterday.
- 0:31Yeah all good. Yeah. No, did they leave any potatoes out like
- 0:34they did on Thanksgiving? Nope, nope because it was my kitchen, so
- 0:37there were there were no potatoes. Yep. I got to got to handle
- 0:40all of that. Good good. I went through a little bit of the
- 0:43same thing my wife's dad, who we don't see very often, and when
- 0:46we do it's for short periods of time. So spending ten days with them
- 0:49you find out things. I mean, this has got to be the longest
- 0:52you've probably stayed with any anybody there's a long strip I've ever taken. So
- 0:55it's weird coming back to work, you know, the feeling, it's like,
- 0:57what's my job again? What do I do? I realized that he
- 1:00is also much like your in laws when it came to the condiments, Amanda,
- 1:03that are in the fridge. And this brought me right back to when
- 1:07my grandma moved into the nursing home and we moved her out of her house.
- 1:08We were finding things, you know, from the eighties that's just unbelievable,
- 1:12unbelieving. And this isn't non perishable food, Adams. We're talking condiments
- 1:17that are being used, maybe not daily, but they're in the fridge.
- 1:21We were making sandwiches one day. He had got some sandwich stuff from the
- 1:23store, so we knew that was like good. The bread was good,
- 1:26the meat was good. But when it came to the condiments, he said,
- 1:27what do you want some mustard? And I thought, well, yeah,
- 1:30of course I love some mustard on a sandwich. And so he gets
- 1:34out the mustard bottle and hands it to me and I thought, oh,
- 1:36what the heck, let's just take a peek. It expired, Amanda in
- 1:38twenty fifteen in the shelf life on a bottle of mustard. I feel like
- 1:42it's pretty long, so that that had to have been purchased. I know
- 1:47Obama was in office. It might have been Bush, I'm not sure.
- 1:51And so it was just really awkward to me, going like, actually,
- 1:53you know what, I don't want any much? So was it crusty?
- 1:57You know how sometimes like if you open it it's a little crusty or is
- 2:00it a fresh bottle? I mean, by all appearances other than the label
- 2:02being a little outdated, you know, well, he's a single guy.
- 2:06I mean probably how often is he using the mustard? So this was not
- 2:12the only occasion. There were several other ones where he brings something out and
- 2:15now I know, now I'm on high alert. There was there was some
- 2:19cocktail sauce offered up that had expired as well, over a decade ago.
- 2:23Yeah, so it's just really I was really shocking stuff. But over I
- 2:25mean, great house, great guy, but just yeah, reminded me of
- 2:29my grandma, and I guess maybe just that generation. Yeah, I tell
- 2:32you all the time about Lance Pants. I mean, we don't even know
- 2:35what is in a couple of the deep freezes that he has, and I
- 2:38am scared to death to know. Yeah, you mean I found you think
- 2:40there's a guy in there? Well, I did find a heart and the
- 2:44freezer in the house that was like a mysterious heart. I'm like, what
- 2:49are we going to do with this? A heart? A bread bag is
- 2:53not? Is it from a dark Well, I would assume so I haven't
- 2:59been a name. I did it. I'm just kidding Rex of all the
- 3:04names, Amanda in her heads like all right, let's pull out a human
- 3:07name, and you went with Rex. Oh, Rexy if anybody's missing him.
- 3:14But yeah, he'd have like, so we love BLTs during the summer.
- 3:17Yeah, Bob, Bob, Larry and Tom's famous belt. I will
- 3:27I will just think, like on a Sunday we'd be leaving and there'd be
- 3:30a little plate left and sure enough you show up, like he will keep
- 3:36just this half piece of bacon, just like in a little baggy, just
- 3:42in case he wants to eat it and maybe of a nuclear war. You
- 3:47gotta love a BLT. Hold the tim please. Now here's what you need
- 3:53to know. Well, a lot of people were really sad when we found
- 3:55out Mexican Village downtown was closing. Some people I know they got thee I
- 4:00know, but it's the og it was. There's so many memories made there,
- 4:02Amanda, totally. Some people feel this way about the old Moorhead High
- 4:05School. Well, there is there is an auctioneer who is auctioning it off
- 4:11more than twelve hundred item. Give them a shot out. It's my buddy's
- 4:14dad. It's McLoughlin Auctioneers. There you go. Yeah, they are going
- 4:18to be auctioning off. They've got microscopes, musical instruments, supplies, furniture.
- 4:24I mean, think about having a Mexican village booth in your home.
- 4:27I mean, wait, but that was your first date, you know.
- 4:30I went on several dates there. Yeah, spilled salsa all over the place.
- 4:33I just love it, the little found they had in the back,
- 4:35Like it's just the vibe in there. And now there's just so many Mexican
- 4:39restaurants, which is great. Yeah, but well they would always be the
- 4:43og that in the Taco bell that was on East ten and Morehead. Oh
- 4:46my gosh, yes, I forgot about that. So you can get items
- 4:49from those, I sure can. Yeah. So the auction is going on
- 4:53right now and it's going to be going through like January fifteenth, So get
- 4:56after it all right? Is a silent auction, yes, assuming we do,
- 5:01like because I know they do the live auctions where it's like, uh,
- 5:04but I want to I'm a dirty booth. That from Gauzently people said
- 5:09on the God be for you, this could be for you, all right.
- 5:13Do you remember the burger king guy during COVID who ended up going online
- 5:16and talked about how for twenty seven years he's worked there and they gave him
- 5:19a small little goodie bag. He never missed a day. That was his
- 5:23big thanks. Yes, they got him pens and like a coffee cup for
- 5:27working there. It was nice for them to recognize it, but it was
- 5:30just so underwhelming. It was literally like the manager realized on the way to
- 5:32work is like, oh crap, so he stopped at a dollar store.
- 5:34But it was also the joy that he had. He's like, yeah,
- 5:38been doing this, kind of not unhappy about it either. Yeah, he
- 5:41was happy. I mean, let's be honest, it's a twenty seventh anniversary.
- 5:45I mean who celebrates that. Yeah. No, it was definitely an
- 5:47interesting situation because it ended up going viral. The daughter put together a gofund
- 5:53me. He raised four hundred and forty thousand dollars and he just announced to
- 5:57the world he bought himself a brand new house in that good for him.
- 6:00So we use the money wisely too, which, like you know, sometimes
- 6:02people do these things, you know, like where is this money going,
- 6:05what's happening? Not this guy just wiped out his mortgage. I mean,
- 6:10to be able to work at burger king that long, because you know,
- 6:13the minimum wage is not increased the way it should. You know, just
- 6:15the fact that you can survive on that is impressive. And to never miss
- 6:18a day, I mean, that's just it. I mean, never missing
- 6:23a day of work. Also kind of gross to think about all the days
- 6:25because surely he was sick at one and he's still going in to whip up
- 6:30your burgers and fries. Now that I think about it, Yeah, you
- 6:32should probably take that house back. They're like whooping cough burgers instead of a
- 6:36whopper. I don't know why I went there. This guy. This guy's
- 6:43whipping a whooping cough burgers the nerve. Okay, there's more, there's what's
- 6:48another menu? Bg. I spend so much time as the competitor. I
- 6:53love the chicken sand, the long chicken sandwich more like long covid sandwich.
- 7:00The original. That one is classic, but it hard to be just a
- 7:02good old whopper French fries more like got the French flu. There you go,
- 7:11Okay, we need to be done with us. You're on today.
- 7:14I'll just sit back and watch. All right. There's a woman who gave
- 7:18birth, you guys, to twins on New Year's She had one and eleven
- 7:23fifty nine on December thirty first, the other at twelve oh two on January
- 7:28first. So you think that's kind of rare, This has actually happened every
- 7:30year in the past three years. Really, so what twins? I think
- 7:34about it. There's just sheer number of babies being born. But to have
- 7:38different birthdays as your twin and different year, I know, holy cow.
- 7:43But I kind of love that for them have their own little identity. You
- 7:46don't have to share. You share everything you're gonna have to your whole life,
- 7:49but you get your own birthday. That's the way to do it.
- 7:53Yeah, I love like my my wife's younger brothers are twins and so yeah,
- 7:57like same clothes, growing up, same every their birthday party is the
- 8:00exact same. They share a room, you know, because the twins.
- 8:03So of course, why wouldn't they you know, it's a tough life speaking
- 8:07of that. So how many twins are on your well yeah, well she
- 8:11has twin brothers, and then on her like the other side there's twins as
- 8:15well apparently, So definitely I like the odds a smothered in twins. Yeah,
- 8:20Like, don't be shocked if we weren't ever conceive. I'm not saying
- 8:22it's happening or not, but if it did, it might be two of
- 8:26them. The joy that would bring me, Oh my goodness, what it
- 8:31really? Yes? Okay, because you'd be helping two of them. You
- 8:35can eat all hands on deck, you know. If somebody just asked me
- 8:37that recently, like, oh my gosh, don't you miss the baby stage?
- 8:41And again, I'm not saying this to detur you from having kids,
- 8:43but I don't. I don't miss that stage that wasn't for me. Well,
- 8:46I mean we just talked about the other day too. It's like that
- 8:50baby fait, Like, I don't know, it seems kind of boring that
- 8:52or is it because I am still so fresh out of it so I'm still
- 8:56enjoying the stages. Yeah, a little bit where I'm like, oh,
- 8:58no, this is it's getting better as it goes. So when you have
- 9:01kids, maybe then it would be Oh my gosh, I would love to
- 9:05have those bundles of joy, one of them over. Absolutely, we're getting
- 9:11ahead of ourselves here, But speaking of fun bird, I just love that
- 9:13we're talking about. I know I was talking about something. My buddy Miller.
- 9:16He had to his first baby. His wife gave birth to the child.
- 9:20Miller. Guess what day, Chrischristmas Day? Oh gosh, I have
- 9:26an aunt. Jesus, they did not. I have an Miller middle initial
- 9:35Miller. Oh my god, ess is c Miller? No, we uh
- 9:41have an aunt that her birthday is on Christmas. And I feel bad because
- 9:43we forget all the time. I sent her a text on New Year's I'm
- 9:46like, oh, happy, belleated person. I don't know how I missed
- 9:52it. I guess we got busy. We had a few things going on
- 9:56that day. But I always complained because mine's exactly a week before Chris.
- 10:00Yeah. And I feel like I've made such a stink about it over the
- 10:03years that people are like, oh, this is your birthday, guard,
- 10:05this is your Christmas card? Oh, geez, but it's only one check
- 10:09in the morning, Big ninety eight points seven. All right, so we're
- 10:11back. Happy New Year everybody. Yeah, it feels good to be back.
- 10:15And hey, by the way, we're live on Facebook. I think
- 10:18wow on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. If you ever want
- 10:20to see what we look like, if you've only ever heard us, prepare
- 10:24to be disappointed. Boo, here we are. Listen in this case what
- 10:30a man wants. Okay, I'm going to tell you these are the traits
- 10:33that men look for in a wife and not just a girlfriend. Amanda A
- 10:37White Oh what okay? By the way, you're a married woman, yeah
- 10:39I am. Yeah, okay, So it's see if you check these bobs
- 10:43through the holiday pike, good good, good good. No love and affection,
- 10:46Amanda, that's all men want. You might think that we're just these
- 10:48big tough guys. I know you think that about me. But at reality,
- 10:52we want some love and we want some affection. Okay when you say
- 10:56that, because explain what you would want for love and an affection like that
- 11:00is going to fill your cup. Because I also feel like some guys are
- 11:01like, eh, well, I don't like being touched and this is what
- 11:05I'm wondering I should clarify. We had my husband and I we were out
- 11:09the other day and I like had my hand. He's like, we're in
- 11:11public. I'm like, I'm literally just like rubbing your leg. You do
- 11:15a little bit of rubbing from what I've seen in the Empire. I was
- 11:18like, oh, like, you know, come after him a little,
- 11:20or like I want to hold hands or something like that. And he it
- 11:22depends. Sometimes he gets he's like he just doesn't want to be that PDA
- 11:26couple, which I totally get. Well, totally somebody has got it.
- 11:30Even it out because there's a lot of people out there doing quite the opposite,
- 11:33you know, in the top. For me and my wife anyway,
- 11:35you'd be lucky if you see us holding hands or arm around each other.
- 11:39I'll basically I'll just give you these little like kind of pokes, a little
- 11:41little just little pinches, little squeezes, just get But for me, sometimes
- 11:45she'll try to like rub my head and I like I just start like,
- 11:48oh, I cringe. I hate it. Really I do not want to
- 11:50be touched. So love and affection, is that right? That's correct?
- 11:52Yeah, Well, in a way, man in a way. Sometimes we
- 11:56just want to know that you still have feelings for us, got it,
- 11:58It's not too much to task. Also that men want in a wife a
- 12:01sense of humor, a sense to humor, I mean, yeah, for
- 12:03sure. I mean that goes both ways. If you don't have that,
- 12:07you're not gonna last. That's just one of I guess that's a really strong
- 12:09one for me. You have to laugh at pretty much everything to some degree.
- 12:13Yeah, you have to take things serious, but overall, you're not
- 12:16going to survive even in like the worst of worst, if you can't giggle
- 12:20or like right, make light of a situation, you're not gonna get past
- 12:24it. As a married couple, of the stuff you got to go through
- 12:26together, like, it's not always fun, So you got to be able
- 12:28to find some some laughter in those moments. You're absolutely right in for your
- 12:31husband's part, I mean, did he get the jackpot or what? Just
- 12:35I mean, so funny the messages we get about how funny Amanda is on
- 12:39our Facebook page. I'm waiting for one that might that might mention me.
- 12:43But every time I open a message like that Amanda is so funny, you
- 12:46got a little sarcasm going to twenty twenty. We really do. We get
- 12:50a lot of people saying that you're funny, and I'm glad people think that.
- 12:54Maybe I don't. I probably don't give you enough credit, but you're
- 12:56very full. My husband doesn't think so. No, No, he's because
- 13:01we have that we both don't think each other are funny, which is what
- 13:05is so funny? Oh good, Yeah, that kind of feeling. That's
- 13:07a good set of arrangement for couples, just to be generally annoyed of each
- 13:09other. If LEARNING an't think I was funny, we'd have been done so
- 13:13a long time. Agore, because I try really hard. All right,
- 13:16somebody something else that men want in a wife, Amanda, Physical attraction obviously,
- 13:20Yeah, shared values. Just feel like you share that. I mean,
- 13:24you're both family people. When you got together, it was like,
- 13:24all right, boom, we both want families about a being about a boom.
- 13:28You did the thing. Yes, as far as certain things go,
- 13:31yes, but there are some things that we don't have the same political views
- 13:35all the time on certain things. Yeah, that's not a bit. I
- 13:37will credit your husband because I know he's pretty opinionated in maybe ways that I'm
- 13:41not or you're not but I will say I brought something up we were at
- 13:46a dinner or that we were out at our Christmas party and I mentioned something
- 13:48that could be construed as political, and he just immediately he's like, shut
- 13:52up, no, not here, not at the table, No politics at
- 13:56the table. I'm like, well that is respectable. Yeah, he just
- 13:58doesn't He doesn't ever want to talk about it, which I like, like,
- 14:01he's just nope, we're not here for this. He knows he's nuts.
- 14:07But as far as values go, especially with raising a family and going
- 14:09through that portion of life, which is to me, the highest priority,
- 14:15we're on the same page. Yeah. Good. And the number one thing
- 14:16that men secretly want in a wife. Secret there, These have all been
- 14:20big secrets until now. Is a kind heart. A kind hearted woman who's
- 14:26thoughtful, loving and caring. When she smiles at a man, he's got
- 14:30no choice but to smile back. Wow. Yeah, my husband did say
- 14:35to me when he goes, you don't look at me like the way you
- 14:37used to. I'm like, what he goes, I don't know. Sometimes
- 14:39you just have this weird like he used to just gaze at me. I'm
- 14:43like, oh boy, I'm so sorry. He did use the gaze.
- 14:46I used to just that, Yeah he was smitten. I mean I still
- 14:50am. But well, it was not sustainable. I will say the way
- 14:54that you were when you guys first met, it was like, there's no
- 14:56way that you can't live like this. I mean, flash every marriage now
- 15:01in a minute in the morning. Seven. No, I'm personally gonna wait
- 15:07till next week to get serious about dieting. Okay, well, you're just
- 15:09coming back from a vacation. Yes, I get it having this week and
- 15:13so I'm going to push it off yet another week, which I've been saying
- 15:15for about a year. I was a little different than you. I started
- 15:18working out on Saturday, just like random, I know, but didn't quit
- 15:24drinking until yesterday was my first day. Right, what are you doing dry
- 15:28January? I'm gonna attempt. Yes, I'm gonna do dry January eight.
- 15:33Last year I did dry is January. I felt great. I didn't say
- 15:37like, I'm not drinking, and I feel like when I say that,
- 15:41then it's like, yeah, I don't need to. Like when you put
- 15:43that kind of pressure on yourself, I'm a weirdo. Then I feel like,
- 15:46oh, I want it, but I don't really care. You know,
- 15:48we want what we can't have. You know what they say, if
- 15:50you shoot for the stars, even if you don't make it, you might
- 15:52end up somewhere around the moon something like that. But if you're changing your
- 15:58eating habits, like such as fasting, what is something that I've done before
- 16:00and I find that it worked for me and you might not work for everybody,
- 16:03like Intermitte fasting, where you don't you basically eat for an eight hour
- 16:07window every day, so basically skipping breakfast and kind of having an early dinner
- 16:11and not eating anything else in that meantime. But they say that that the
- 16:14skipping the breakfast part could increase your chance of dying due to your cardiovascular disease,
- 16:19stroke, things of that nature. Yeah, they say skipping breakfast and
- 16:23then also eating a later dinner. And you've heard that, you know,
- 16:26like eating before bed, that's not good, right, sitting right? Also,
- 16:32Yeah, acid reflux, Like last night we're getting in bed and I
- 16:34was pretty much chewing the last bite of a Mick double as I was getting
- 16:37in bed. That or you could just like feel like you ate a play
- 16:41Aposta, You're like, it's just sitting there, it's awful. Yeah.
- 16:45Yeah, they say that the longer duration of quote nighttime fasting, the period
- 16:49between the last meal of the day and the first meal of the day,
- 16:52it's associated with a reduced risk of stroke. They say, the longer that
- 16:56you're basically fasting overnight, that's going to be the best for your heart and
- 17:00everything. See, and this is where I struggle because everything I know,
- 17:03or every time I've ever been successful, it's like waking up and having something
- 17:07in your system, you know what I mean, eating like yogurt or some
- 17:11sort of protein in the morning, really a protein in a fat and I
- 17:14just and for me, I'm not a big breakfast person. I'm like,
- 17:17I'm genuinely not hungry until most people like you kind of have to force breakfast
- 17:22because for the longest time, it was really stuffed in your head that it
- 17:25was, you know, the most important meal of the day. Remember when
- 17:26you're a kidding, you had to take like a standardized test or something,
- 17:30and they would wheel in this card of like muffins and juice and they'd give
- 17:33you all this Gosh, I forgot about that. Yeah, they'd give you
- 17:36all this like brain food, but all it did was make you like tired.
- 17:41No thanks, giant chocolate muffin and this is me Heppy and Amanda in
- 17:45the morning on Big seven. And now Amanda stills that Sea whoop see whoops.
- 17:52Sea is all right. Jimmy Kimmel and Aaron Rodgers are beefing already.
- 17:56I think it's the first beef of twenty twenty four. And it's all over
- 18:00Jeffrey Emstein's list of associates. Now I read this, I'm like, Okay,
- 18:03is this a joke? Is this a skit? What's going on here?
- 18:07Well, Aaron Rodgers, he was on a talk show yesterday as it
- 18:10Pat McAfee guys on every week with Pat McAfee on ESPN, and he had
- 18:14made some comments about how because he has always said he can't wait for the
- 18:18Epstein list to be released, and he had made a comment about Jimmy Kimmel
- 18:22being on there. Yeah, he said, Jimmy Kimmel's not looking forward to
- 18:25the list being revealed, basically saying he's on it. Now. This goes
- 18:29backaways because throughout COVID, obviously Aaron Rodgers had a lot to say about it,
- 18:33Jimmie Kimmel being on the total opposite then correct had a lot of fun
- 18:36with him on the show would make fun of Aaron Rodgers a lot, and
- 18:40so Aaron Rodgers obviously hates him. Yeah, they definitely do not care for
- 18:44each other, and anytime they can have a platform to fire back at one
- 18:47another, they're going to. But I woke up this morning to a tweet
- 18:49from Jimmy Kimmel, and you know how Aaron like a rod out. People
- 18:53call him that a little bit. He called him an aa hole. That's
- 18:59how we started it. Say that his reckless words are putting my family in
- 19:03danger, called him a soft brained wacko and can't seem to distinguish what's going
- 19:07on in reality. So there's that. Yeah, he threaded legal action.
- 19:11He said, if you want to keep it up, we'll debate this in
- 19:12a court. Yeah, I mean, would that be I guess that'd be
- 19:15defamation. I guess defamation because I really though, I don't think there's any
- 19:19ties between Jimmy Kimmel and Jeffrey Epstein, not that I know of. I
- 19:23think Aaron Rodgers just being a jerk. He seems very sensitive, he feels
- 19:27like he's he's very like, oh, everyone's so offended easily in blabbo.
- 19:32But then when you say anything about him. They both kind of feel this
- 19:33way to me. Yeah, they really do. They're both a little soft,
- 19:37gradual. They're coming after us. Kanye West, he is overseeing is
- 19:45welcome at the Four Seasons. I guess he's kind of hunkering down there.
- 19:48Him and his wife have been staying there for a few weeks. He has
- 19:49a recording studio set up there. He has late night guests. Suv is
- 19:53rolling in. Like, why does he have a home? I thought he
- 19:56had a place in Calabasas, just down from where else. Yeah, just
- 20:00a little staycation. Yeah, I know he can't go back to Italy,
- 20:03that's for sure. He overstayed his welcome there. As for the gondola performance,
- 20:10But her performance, I guess speaking of her performance, I am so
- 20:14uncomfortable. Do you remember probably back in November, her family and friends kind
- 20:18of sat down and said, Hey, we don't even know who you are
- 20:21anymore. You're acting really weird now that you've been with Kanye. Well,
- 20:23then yesterday Kanye West posted like four different pictures of Bianca. In this it
- 20:29looks like the hotel in the bathroom, and she's like staged, but she's
- 20:33not really wearing clothes it's so uncomfortable. Yeah, there's not a lot of
- 20:37tops or bottoms being worn at all. It's it's very revealing, which is
- 20:41odd. And there's no like, no caption, just no, it's just
- 20:44weird. Well, one of the captions said no pants this year, by
- 20:48the other one said drop something. Okay, was she bending over? It's
- 20:52so bizarre. And he was so anti Kim being this girl because she's putting
- 20:56a lot of Kardashian vibes out there. So it's all very odd to me.
- 21:00But also I feel like she's just his puppet. It's it's gonna be
- 21:04some really weird vibe. He seems very controlling, and I mean, I'm
- 21:08down with the no pants thing for twenty twenty four, but otherwise, and
- 21:11then also there's so much uncomfortableness for me because she's just sitting there posed as
- 21:15though like he looked at her and goes go stand in the shower and look
- 21:18at me, Well, I take your picture, right, and she's just
- 21:22like looking there. And Kip Kardashian is getting backlash over her holiday decorps.
- 21:33Not everyone is feeling as magical as she was this holiday season. I don't
- 21:37know if you saw her real, but she hosted their big Christmas Eve party,
- 21:41so she has all of these huge Christmas trees everywhere. I mean there's
- 21:45got to be a thousands of them. And then there's finks in the house,
- 21:48so they're in the house, and then there's also outside of the house.
- 21:51It is bizarre. So you know her because Kanye designed their house.
- 21:55It's all white, yeah, and so in it she has just rose and
- 21:59rose and of trees. But then outside in I guess her outdoor area where
- 22:04you would have your pooling stuff. Yeah, it's just full. And she
- 22:08had like this little pathway of fake snow and people are like what and then
- 22:12she did a oh Christmas is over, and then the snow was gone,
- 22:17and people are going, first of all, this is ridiculous, how much
- 22:19should it cost? There's people dying, this is bad for the earth and
- 22:23all of this. I know, Geez, and I'm not one to back
- 22:26up her for any of this because it is so ridiculous. But if you
- 22:30had the money and the ability to create a magical Christmas and you were able
- 22:34to also live in Calabasas, you probably would probably would. Yeah, And
- 22:37people do the fake snow thing all the time, like in Florida when we
- 22:41were living there. We went to this fake snow thing and turns out it
- 22:42was just a dish. So I'm not even kidding you wait, like a
- 22:47whole party of foam party with kids running around. I'm like, this is
- 22:49really weird. Happy Holidays in the morning on big Nutty eight points. You
- 22:56know what. I love that, no matter how old you aren't, everybody
- 22:59grew up with Mickey Mouse, unless you're like two hundred years old, in
- 23:02which case, thanks for listening. Prous you are, I'm still being alive.
- 23:07But you know what public domain is? So like when something that has
- 23:10a copyright, you know, like any movie, character, book or whatever,
- 23:12After a certain amount of time, the copyright expires and it becomes public
- 23:17domain. Okay, not that there. Anybody can use it for whatever you
- 23:19want. Nobody can see you, it just exists. Mickey Mouse, Remember
- 23:23the old one, like have you ever seen the Yes? So like Anastasia,
- 23:26I remember seeing that. I think Mickey Mouse was in that. That
- 23:29was very Yeah, before he was Steamboat Willie. So Walt Disney created the
- 23:33first Little Mouse, right. I never knew that. Oh yeah, So
- 23:37before they decided they would call him Mickey Mouse, they were trying on some
- 23:41names, and I'm going to see it's my uncle's nickname. You didn't like
- 23:51it. I'm thinking of the Mickey Mouse Club song like sta. You know,
- 24:00personally, I like Steave o' Willie. Boh that got me good.
- 24:03Obviously, people reacted in nineteen twenty eight much like you reacted now because they
- 24:07changed the name. But in nineteen twenty eight they created Steamboat Willie and well,
- 24:11on Monday the copyright expired, meaning Steamboat Willie or Mickey Mouse is now
- 24:17part of public domain. So somebody is already in the works of creating a
- 24:21movie with Steamboat Willie or Mickey Mouse as a character. Amanda, it's a
- 24:25slasher film titled Mickey's mouse Trap. Oh boy, Well, see the name
- 24:30sounds I'm like, oh, Mickey's mouse Trap. That kind of sounds fun.
- 24:33Yeah, but it's a trap where like you're gonna get killed. Yeah,
- 24:36pieces, so see it. That's not okay the kids now, tell
- 24:38me if this doesn't sound like a good flick. The plot has a group
- 24:41of teens fleeing for their lives as a knife wielding man in a Mickey costume
- 24:48Unleasha's Terror. My God had an amusement Park. Let me just give you
- 24:52a little taste of the trailer. Okay, said the best part of the
- 24:53week. Control all over in the jungle channel. Yes, yeah, Blood
- 25:02all over the Jungle gym. And then it goes to the scary room where
- 25:04there's like an old projector and it's showing the old Mickey film Steamboat Willie,
- 25:08And all of a sudden, a guy appears in a Mickey mask. So
- 25:11this is kind of like a knock off of Scream in that it's a slasher
- 25:15film. Sure, well, that and the Scream Mask. It's just gonna
- 25:18be Steamboat Willie. It's not the first and it won't be the last horror
- 25:22movie that's somebody in a mask. I don't like it. I don't like
- 25:26it. Well, it's the stuff nightmares are made of. But it does
- 25:29remind me of some other cause it's gonna be a horrible movie. It's gonna
- 25:32be like one of the have you ever seen? Because I used to on
- 25:33Netflix. I remember this was kind of thing where if you like sorted by
- 25:37like the rating of the movie, if you go to the end, it's
- 25:40got the worst rated movies on Netflix, and you would watch those amazing stuff
- 25:44really some gems. Like there's a film called thanks Killing, which is a
- 25:47horror movie h surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday, which one of a kind. I
- 25:52mean, name another Thanksgiving horror movie. Yeah, I've never heard of one
- 25:56until now. So it's about a horror It's about a killer turkey, turkey
- 25:59getting its revel and how do you not just bust out laughing? What you
- 26:02do? I mean, there's one scene in the movie, and I don't
- 26:04want to spoil it because I know a lot of people are going to want
- 26:07to go home and watch thanks Killing. But the killer turkey at one point,
- 26:11all these college kids, it's always college kids. They have no idea
- 26:15what's about to hit them. But you know, there's always like scenes of
- 26:18horsing around and then somebody gets killed. Then there's more horsing around, then
- 26:21they get killed. But this turkey goes where they're supposed to go home to
- 26:25have Thanksgiving dinner. The dad is like cooking, so he goes home before
- 26:26the kids get there, kills the dad and horrific fa and this is gross,
- 26:32but he basically removes the dad's face, oh stop it hangs it on
- 26:36his own face. And imagine a turkey with this human face right draped over
- 26:41the beak in the the kids get home for the dinner, they've got no
- 26:45idea. They think it's dad. Get they think it's dad. They can't
- 26:53believe it. Well, it's his face. So you're not going to bring
- 26:56the kids to see Mickey's mouse Trap. No, but I have a feeling
- 27:00you and I are gonna have a couple of beers and watch it someday,
- 27:06like an in the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven? Would you agree
- 27:10with the statement that society tends to look more critically at women who date younger
- 27:15men versus men who are dating much younger women. Right, yes, on
- 27:21fairness, but yes, Well, they did a study to find out exactly
- 27:25how happy these women these quote Amanda Cougars. Gosh, been a while since
- 27:30I've heard of the old cougar. Yeah, how happy are cougars? Actually?
- 27:34So, they did some research over here at the renowned London Metropolitan University.
- 27:40Isn't that where you went? No, that was Metropolitan Street College in
- 27:45Colorado. It's not the London branch, Nolle. I was in the Denver
- 27:48branch of that. Well, the folks over here in the psychology department did
- 27:53a survey of twenty four women. So they took this this sample sites twenty
- 27:57four women, seventeen of which were dating men that were seven to ten years
- 28:00younger. Aka they were cougars sven a ten years. I guess, I
- 28:04mean, you're younger than your hutsman, Nick, right, I am five
- 28:07five beers. Oh so we've got a certified sugar daddy. Oh yeah boy.
- 28:12But they found the women who were dating the younger men were much happier
- 28:18than the other women in the U in the survey who are dating men approximately
- 28:22their own age. Really yeah, So I wonder why that would be.
- 28:26You know, I don't think, I mean, what would the appeal be.
- 28:29I mean, yeah, you know, I get men when they get
- 28:30older, if you know, you want to date a man your own age,
- 28:33Like sometimes they can get you know, lazy and stuck in their ways.
- 28:37And we all see the commercials or maybe I just see the commercials because
- 28:41I've served them. But you know, men with testosterone levels dropping, they're
- 28:45just not the they're not the bulls they used to be. Well, and
- 28:48I feel like it's the opposite. And that's also kind of this weird like
- 28:52ladies getting you know a little bit more frisky as time goes on and feel
- 28:56it. I don't know. I guess it depends when menopause and all that
- 28:59kind of stuff. I think it's kind of depends on who you are.
- 29:02But well, we are just talking, you and I. We before I
- 29:03had left for a vacation, we had our big staff Christmas party, and
- 29:07somehow the conversation got brought up of when the best time intimately is in your
- 29:11life, and it seemed like there was somebody there representing, you know,
- 29:14people older than not's and saying it just gets better. It's like that's the
- 29:17peak is when you're in that cougar state. Yeah, yeah, I could
- 29:19see it probably gets better once your kids are like out of the house and
- 29:23out of your bed, lay down like in a minute in the morning,
- 29:29get up on dig. Well we're back back in the saddle. I know
- 29:33you've been here, but I'm back from a nice little vacation. Oh it's
- 29:37good to be back in happy New Year. But you know how vacation goes.
- 29:41It's the most unhealthy thing. It's like you look forward to it so
- 29:44much, but then just the way I've you know, and I think you're
- 29:45probably the same. It takes like weeks to recover from a vacation, especially
- 29:49one of this length. See for me, it's just even through the holiday
- 29:52season, you just you get that one week You're like, ah, it's
- 29:56no big deal after the holiday, and then that's another week and another week.
- 30:00Finally this weekend, I just kind of stopped him, like, I'm
- 30:03actually gonna work out on Saturday. Regroup a little still a language to me,
- 30:08I know, and you just oh, like even my family, like
- 30:11the kid's routine. I'm like, we just need a reset, man.
- 30:15And is that time? Because a new survey was done in Americans, they
- 30:18say they feel just seventy percent healthy, so not completely healthy. Seventy percent.
- 30:22Would you if you had to put a percentage on how healthy you feel
- 30:26overall physical health, mental health, I would say probably sixty ish. Yeah,
- 30:32somewhere around there. I mean there's a lot of work to be done,
- 30:33which is why we're here in the new year. And you know,
- 30:37going into with this vacation at the end of the year, my god,
- 30:38and first of all, you got the holidays and then you got this vacation,
- 30:41and you just keep telling yourself that, well, in the new year,
- 30:45I'll get it together. Isn't it crazy when you go and you eat
- 30:48just junk and you're drinking and you're doing all that just to get out of
- 30:51that. And already just one day yesterday, I was exhausted just from like
- 30:56drinking water all day feeling you know what I mean, like your body moving,
- 31:00and I'm like, I am just spent. You just say you're exhausted
- 31:03from drinking water, just almost like how it came out. Honey, I
- 31:10gotta take a nap. My gosh, I just put down a glass of
- 31:15water. It's like anything, your body gets used to it, and it's
- 31:18sort of like an addiction if you're like eating fast food and things like that,
- 31:22Like you just body comes to expect it. So the thought of anything
- 31:25else, like a glass of water, that your body's just gonna shut down.
- 31:30Green, do you have a salad? It's like, who, yeah,
- 31:32what are what is this produce? It was about five days into the
- 31:34vacation. I'm like, you know, we ought to just mix in a
- 31:37carrot or two. I'm no kidding. Ah, did you get rid of
- 31:41the McDonald's app for twenty twenty four? That would be a good idea to
- 31:44delete because I'm just you know me if you follow me on social media,
- 31:48I find my And the sad thing is I don't even post every time i'm
- 31:49at McDonald's because if I did, that would be it would be just that
- 31:52all it would be. But this has destroyed you. It's not a promotion
- 31:56for the app either. But it's just easy because it's so easy. It's
- 32:00so cheap. That's the thing that gets you. It's cheap, and that's
- 32:01what we got to get you out of because you'll be sitting here. You're
- 32:06like, oh, you'll be motivated. We'll be sitting here having a conversation
- 32:09like Pike today, You're gonna go do this and you're gonna work out.
- 32:12We're gonna hold each other accountable. And then all of a sudden, roop
- 32:15bought. And then it'll say ninety nine cent chicken nuggets and you're like,
- 32:21well, Amanda, I know what I'm doing for a long you just can't
- 32:23afford to not. It's one of those it's one of those you but you
- 32:25know what a manna, You're right and it's I had this thought too,
- 32:29But I'm glad you said that, because what is January third? It's going
- 32:31I'm gonna get get rid of it. Are you ready, Austin going to
- 32:35my phone, I'm opening up my apps. I got it on the homepage.
- 32:37Of course, this is going to be the healthiest thing you do.
- 32:39Highlighting baytoks baby, do the little wiggle thing deleted? Man, God,
- 32:49remove it from home screen and delete. Here's do a healthier me and a
- 32:54healthier you in twenty twenty four. I'm going to mess it up. The
- 33:00first time I got to write a check. I don't know, kidding,
