- 1:12Speaker 4: Podcast called 25 Whistles.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Talking football.
- 1:16Speaker 4: And they all wear a whistle.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it's stupid.
- 1:21Speaker 1: But what did you expect?
- 1:23Speaker 5: It's a podcast called 25 Whistles.
- 1:25Speaker 3: 25 Whistles.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Oh, I hit it.
- 1:27Speaker 6: Welcome.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Hey, by the way, J.J. McCarthy just got traded.
- 1:31Speaker 7: Just saw that.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, 40 minutes ago.
- 1:33Speaker 4: To who?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Giants.
- 1:35Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah, they need someone.
- 1:39Speaker 1: It's funny how all these guys have to And I
- 1:42Speaker 1: get it. They're the breakers of the news. It's their thing.
- 1:45Speaker 1: But I was reading Ian Rappaport, who's been on the show,
- 1:47Speaker 1: and I've met Ian a few times, but it's the
- 1:49Speaker 1: Giants are trading for Vikings former first-round quarterback J.J. McCarthy
- 1:52Speaker 1: per me, Adam Schefter, and Mike Garofalo. So it took
- 1:57Speaker 1: three of you to break that?
- 1:58Speaker 9: Uh-huh.
- 1:58Speaker 7: You think it's because they work for the same company,
- 2:00Speaker 7: all of them?
- 2:01Speaker 8: Right?
- 2:01Speaker 7: Now that NFL and ESPN merge, so they have to
- 2:03Speaker 7: give all each other credit?
- 2:04Speaker 9: No.
- 2:04Speaker 7: Or just trying to be nice?
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's whomever is giving that information gives it to all
- 2:08Speaker 1: three of them at the same time.
- 2:09Speaker 8: Oh.
- 2:10Speaker 1: So no. Because you don't care about people in your company.
- 2:13Speaker 1: You're that guy.
- 2:14Speaker 8: True.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Like, Shams doesn't go, per me and any other ESPN
- 2:18Speaker 1: basketball guy.
- 2:18Speaker 7: Now, do the other guys go, per me, and then
- 2:21Speaker 7: the other two, and then the other, you know?
- 2:22Speaker 5: Yeah, probably.
- 2:23Speaker 1: That's right.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Like, it's respect.
- 2:25Speaker 7: Yeah, like, hey, you put me on yours, I'll put
- 2:26Speaker 7: you on mine.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Let's see. I'm going to Schefter's now.
- 2:34Speaker 7: Okay, I'll go to Garofalo.
- 2:35Speaker 1: The Giants had a chance to take J.J.
- 2:37Speaker 4: McCarthy.
- 2:37Speaker 7: Here we go.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Yeah, sources, me, Rap Sheet, and Mike Garofalo.
- 2:42Speaker 4: They must have talked about it then.
- 2:43Speaker 1: No, they get the information from the same person that
- 2:46Speaker 1: sends it to all three of them.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Okay, so does the same person say, oh, or is
- 2:49Speaker 4: it a text thread?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yes, that's what it would be. Oh, it's a text thread.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:54Speaker 5: Interesting.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So anyway, there it goes. I got a lot of
- 2:58Speaker 1: notes from this weekend. All right, everybody's here.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm just going to roll down my notes in order. Yeah,
- 3:06Speaker 1: go ahead. I'm not going to the Cowboys first, don't worry.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Unless you'd like to.
- 3:10Speaker 4: No, I'm good.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Here's the thing about that Cowboys game.
- 3:13Speaker 6: I thought we were going to start with the Cowboys.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Okay, we'll hold then.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Let's hold.
- 3:19Speaker 9: Okay.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But here's the thing.
- 3:24Speaker 5: What?
- 3:24Speaker 1: It was tied last night with seven seconds left, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: I went to put the baby in the bath because
- 3:30Speaker 1: I was going to watch overtime.
- 3:32Speaker 10: Right.
- 3:32Speaker 6: You had time to do that. You had time to
- 3:34Speaker 6: do whatever you wanted to do and come back and
- 3:36Speaker 6: then see overtime.
- 3:38Speaker 8: Yes.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And then I came back and Baltimore was jumping up
- 3:41Speaker 1: and down celebrating a made field goal. So I did
- 3:44Speaker 1: not see the pass. I did not see the kick.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I saw nothing. I was coming back to watch overtime.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 3:51Speaker 6: This brings up a good point. So I thought the
- 3:53Speaker 6: same thing too. Like I went to the bathroom thinking like, okay,
- 3:57Speaker 6: we're tired. We're going to go to overtime. And I
- 3:59Speaker 6: come back just in time to see the pass and,
- 4:02Speaker 6: And then see the kick. But in my head, in
- 4:06Speaker 6: your head, we were all kind of like the Cowboys
- 4:09Speaker 6: heads being like, we're going to overtime.
- 4:11Speaker 1: No, if I'm in the Cowboys... If I'm on their sideline,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'm not going to go into overtime.
- 4:15Speaker 4: I understand that. But the fact that you gave the
- 4:17Speaker 4: baby a bath, I went to the bathroom.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I'm watching on television. The Cowboys don't have a baby
- 4:23Speaker 1: to give a bath to.
- 4:24Speaker 6: I just feel like in their heads, they were like
- 4:26Speaker 6: all of us being like, all right, let's kick this ball.
- 4:29Speaker 4: We'll run out of time and we'll go to overtime.
- 4:31Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't think that at all, especially because they
- 4:33Speaker 1: didn't come up in the formation to just kneel it.
- 4:36Speaker 9: No.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Yeah, and they practice this stuff every week.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Did we get Michigan, though? Did we get Western Michigan
- 4:42Speaker 4: with that clock?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Seven seconds?
- 4:45Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, no.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know. I saw the pass, and I
- 4:48Speaker 1: saw the kick, and I saw them both on replay,
- 4:50Speaker 1: so I didn't see that.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Because it looked like they were out of time.
- 4:53Speaker 7: Yeah, but here's the thing. Don't touch them.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Yeah, if you let them just go down.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Let them fall down, and then don't touch them.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I did hear them saying that.
- 5:01Speaker 7: And the clock doesn't stop.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't think about that.
- 5:03Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:04Speaker 7: So it's also on the defender.
- 5:05Speaker 4: What they called the timeout. No, they called the timeout.
- 5:10Speaker 7: After he touched him?
- 5:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, as soon as the play was over, everybody.
- 5:13Speaker 1: You can't call a timeout while the play is still happening.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Well, they went back and looked and said that Lamar
- 5:18Speaker 6: Jackson and everyone on the field and the coaches were
- 5:21Speaker 6: all calling timeout.
- 5:21Speaker 1: That's fine, but you can't call timeout while the play
- 5:23Speaker 1: is live. And if no one touches them, the play
- 5:25Speaker 1: is still live. They don't go out of bounds and
- 5:27Speaker 1: no one touches them, the play is still live.
- 5:29Speaker 8: I don't know, dude.
- 5:30Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know. You know what? Here,
- 5:33Speaker 4: when stuff like this happens.
- 5:34Speaker 1: You want to talk about it later or are you good?
- 5:36Speaker 4: Well, we can talk about it later.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Okay, we'll come back to it.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Okay, let's come back to it.
- 5:40Speaker 1: So, okay, I'm going to roll down my notes. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: did say if Arkansas beat Tulsa, I'd donate $ 100 for
- 5:47Speaker 1: every point. And they won by 28, so I have
- 5:50Speaker 1: to donate $ 2, 800. Dang. What sucked for me was during
- 5:54Speaker 1: that day earlier, they were doing some picks during college
- 5:58Speaker 1: game day, and they went over and they said, Tulsa's
- 6:00Speaker 1: playing an SEC team, and two of the people picked
- 6:02Speaker 1: Tulsa to beat us. And then they said an SEC team,
- 6:05Speaker 1: and they laughed.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Oh, guys.
- 6:08Speaker 1: About Arkansas being in the SEC. That's messed up. That's
- 6:09Speaker 1: a tough one.
- 6:10Speaker 7: Yeah, that's messed up.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But we did win, and it rained.
- 6:11Speaker 7: Who laughed?
- 6:12Speaker 4: Do you remember who laughed? Did you pick out who laughed?
- 6:14Speaker 1: I remember, yeah, Desmond.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Desmond laughed?
- 6:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 6:22Speaker 7: His team got it.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Also, AI went 3-0 Saturday, 0-1 Sunday. I used my AI,
- 6:29Speaker 1: my Muse app. And I said, all right, give me
- 6:32Speaker 1: the bets. And I bet all three of them on Saturday.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Went 3-0.
- 6:34Speaker 1: That's amazing, dude. Because I was on a nine bet
- 6:39Speaker 1: losing streak.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Going into the week?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Because we talked about it on the show.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Because what am I going to bet on in the
- 6:45Speaker 1: middle of the week? Who am I, Eddie?
- 6:46Speaker 4: Oh, no, dude. There's a lot to bet on during
- 6:48Speaker 4: the week.
- 6:48Speaker 8: No, I know, I know. WNBA.
- 6:49Speaker 7: WNBA is on.
- 6:51Speaker 5: European soccer.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So I went 3-0 Saturday, 0-1 Sunday. How many of
- 6:55Speaker 1: the bets that I shared with you guys from AI
- 6:57Speaker 1: did you bet, Kevin?
- 7:00Speaker 7: Just the one.
- 7:02Speaker 1: On Saturday?
- 7:02Speaker 7: On Saturday, yeah. I didn't do the Sunday one because
- 7:05Speaker 7: I was traveling that day. Eddie?
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I only bet one.
- 7:09Speaker 1: If you only bet the Sunday one, it's why we lost.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Did you only bet the Sunday one?
- 7:13Speaker 4: I bet the Sunday one.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 7:15Speaker 4: And I didn't want to tell you guys that because
- 7:17Speaker 4: you guys would blame me immediately.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It won every time until you got on.
- 7:22Speaker 4: It's one of those things where I saw you guys
- 7:24Speaker 4: just winning and be like, ah.
- 7:25Speaker 7: We won three in a row.
- 7:26Speaker 4: I got to jump in on this.
- 7:27Speaker 7: But you didn't jump in on Saturday. You did your
- 7:29Speaker 7: own bet and you lost that one, didn't you? Or no,
- 7:31Speaker 7: did you send that one to us?
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't think it's my fault, dude. Honestly.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Well, let's just look at the numbers here. The three
- 7:39Speaker 1: you didn't bet on won. The one you did lost.
- 7:42Speaker 4: And then you told AI that you didn't win it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And they said, sorry about that. That's on me. That's
- 7:48Speaker 1: on me.
- 7:48Speaker 4: You got to love that.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Because we lost on the Joe Burrow strip sack.
- 7:52Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, at the end there, huh?
- 7:53Speaker 1: That's right. That was it.
- 7:55Speaker 7: That was a good game.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Another note I have is the Tennessee and Texas game.
- 7:59Speaker 1: One of the funnier moments was they were talking about
- 8:02Speaker 1: how the audio would be affected in the headsets on
- 8:06Speaker 1: the field because the president was in the stadium. There
- 8:09Speaker 1: could be times where they would have no audio going
- 8:10Speaker 1: back and forth. But again, it won't be affected, especially
- 8:13Speaker 1: on television. But as they're talking about it, the audio
- 8:15Speaker 1: goes out.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Perfect timing.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It sounded terrible. I thought my TV was messing up.
- 8:20Speaker 7: That's what it was because the whole president thing.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know that that's why it messed up
- 8:23Speaker 1: on television right at that point. But it was hilarious
- 8:26Speaker 1: because they're like, it shouldn't affect the audio. Just goes out.
- 8:29Speaker 4: That's perfect.
- 8:30Speaker 7: What a nightmare.
- 8:31Speaker 6: I would think that would. I mean, that makes sense.
- 8:33Speaker 6: You know, like Secret Service comes in with their own frequencies.
- 8:36Speaker 6: It's going to take over whatever's going on in that stadium.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Mike, you pretty happy about that Texas game?
- 8:40Speaker 11: Yeah, we got through with the win, even though I
- 8:42Speaker 11: almost wanted to throw up at one point.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Were you puckered, Mike?
- 8:45Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 8:45Speaker 1: That onside kick, I can't believe that they recovered that.
- 8:49Speaker 7: I didn't even know you could drop kick an onside kick.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And then people were then saying that he didn't drop
- 8:53Speaker 1: it on the right yard line, that it should have
- 8:55Speaker 1: been right on the 35. And that's probably a rule,
- 8:57Speaker 1: but he didn't. He kicked it from like the 33.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But pretty cool kick. I couldn't believe it worked. And
- 9:04Speaker 1: then I thought Tennessee was going to go down and
- 9:05Speaker 1: win the game, and they didn't. They are terrible.
- 9:07Speaker 11: Yeah, they put out a statement this morning saying it
- 9:09Speaker 11: should have been a penalty.
- 9:10Speaker 5: They did?
- 9:10Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Who put out the statement?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Probably the SEC.
- 9:13Speaker 8: Yep.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Man, I hate those statements. Just be quiet.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Just let it be.
- 9:17Speaker 1: No, you can't just be quiet.
- 9:18Speaker 4: No, you have to.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Even the one they send out, like, we were wrong.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Western Michigan should have won, but they didn't. That makes
- 9:24Speaker 6: it so much worse.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I was glad they did that. It kind of drove
- 9:30Speaker 1: it in the hearts of Michigan a little more that their.
- 9:31Speaker 7: Win oh didn't shouldn't have counted yeah and then.
- 9:35Speaker 1: If they go to the bcs or it used to
- 9:37Speaker 1: be the bcs but now it's the playoff committee and
- 9:39Speaker 1: they're debating and it's close to bring that that'll probably
- 9:42Speaker 1: factor in because then they're looking for anything if it's
- 9:45Speaker 1: close between two teams.
- 9:46Speaker 7: Yeah and they can use that as an excuse or
- 9:48Speaker 7: reason whatever you want to call it.
- 9:49Speaker 6: The official statement how about that iowa michigan yeah yeah
- 9:55Speaker 6: iowa michigan game that was crazy.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Two seconds left caught the touchdown pass yeah right in
- 10:00Speaker 1: the front corner of the end zone on the side
- 10:01Speaker 1: it was that was wild it was lovely whole stadium
- 10:03Speaker 1: just done it was lovely.
- 10:05Speaker 7: It was lovely.
- 10:07Speaker 4: You like that?
- 10:07Speaker 7: Why, because they did it on the road?
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was a last-second non-field goal. It was
- 10:13Speaker 1: a last-second touchdown pass on the edge. Had to be
- 10:16Speaker 1: thrown exactly right. Had to be caught. Time was up.
- 10:19Speaker 1: It was all on that play. It's rare that that
- 10:21Speaker 1: happens like that. Especially Iowa passing the ball and winning
- 10:24Speaker 1: on a pass. Hey, Mike, what was up with your
- 10:26Speaker 1: dude pulling out his wiener and fake peeing on everybody?
- 10:28Speaker 7: Everything.
- 10:29Speaker 8: I don't know, man.
- 10:30Speaker 11: That almost, I mean, that changed the whole momentum of
- 10:32Speaker 11: the game.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Who did that?
- 10:33Speaker 1: I couldn't, I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe he
- 10:37Speaker 1: did that.
- 10:38Speaker 11: Like, so like, like what went through his mind of
- 10:40Speaker 11: like that whole, it was so elaborate and so over
- 10:42Speaker 11: the top. He thought this is what I'm going to do.
- 10:45Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 1: And the fact that he had to have already thought
- 10:48Speaker 1: of that, that's not something that hits him right in the, Oh,
- 10:52Speaker 1: I should quickly, let me think of a fun celebration.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'll pull out my pecker and fake it. Like I'm
- 10:56Speaker 1: peeing on every, he did. It was right in the
- 10:58Speaker 1: middle of the field, dude. You were practicing that leading
- 11:00Speaker 1: up to the game. It's like when you pull out
- 11:02Speaker 1: a gun and go, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat. You
- 11:04Speaker 1: know you can't do that and you're going to get flagged.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Yeah, bad news. Why would you ever do that and
- 11:11Speaker 1: think you can get away with it? It was so blatant.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So that was a note I had. People thought I
- 11:17Speaker 1: was the guest picker for a minute on game day.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Knoxville.
- 11:22Speaker 7: That's funny.
- 11:23Speaker 8: Huh.
- 11:25Speaker 7: You know what I never really put two and two
- 11:27Speaker 7: together was, is he called Johnny Knoxville because he's from Knoxville?
- 11:29Speaker 6: Yes.
- 11:30Speaker 7: I never knew that until that day.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I didn't know that either.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Wow.
- 11:33Speaker 1: People will come up to me occasionally and think I'm
- 11:35Speaker 1: Johnny Knoxville.
- 11:36Speaker 9: Huh.
- 11:37Speaker 1: His hair is grayer than mine.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:39Speaker 1: But he wears big, bold glasses and he's just an
- 11:42Speaker 1: average looking white guy. So I had some people that
- 11:44Speaker 1: thought I was on college game day for a few minutes.
- 11:46Speaker 1: But he was in a full Tennessee uniform and I
- 11:48Speaker 1: would never.
- 11:49Speaker 7: Was anybody like coming at you? On social media, like,
- 11:52Speaker 7: you're an idiot for that pick or something? No, no, no.
- 11:54Speaker 1: People were just like, I thought you were on game day.
- 11:56Speaker 7: Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.
- 11:57Speaker 1: On first glance, we thought it was you because you
- 11:58Speaker 1: live in Nashville.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Yeah, that was it.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I have another note here. Did you see Justin Verlander's
- 12:04Speaker 1: last start?
- 12:05Speaker 7: Yeah, that was really cool.
- 12:06Speaker 1: One, he pitched really well. I think he pitched five,
- 12:09Speaker 1: five plus maybe. And so when he went out to
- 12:13Speaker 1: even start the game, they sent him out on the
- 12:14Speaker 1: field by himself, which was cool. Nobody else ran out
- 12:18Speaker 1: with him. And then when they pulled him, his daughter
- 12:21Speaker 1: came out and ran out and hugged him, and he
- 12:23Speaker 1: was crying, and the manager came out. It was a
- 12:26Speaker 1: good moment. For sure, Hall of Famer. Multiple Cy Youngs, MVP,
- 12:30Speaker 1: World Series. So that was a cool one.
- 12:32Speaker 7: Yeah, that was awesome.
- 12:35Speaker 1: The USC-Oregon game and the hit, that's bad news.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Really bad.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That's bad news. I think... And I haven't heard anybody
- 12:47Speaker 1: talk about this, although I haven't heard anything because we
- 12:49Speaker 1: came into the show this morning, so I've not heard
- 12:51Speaker 1: anything from Monday. But Dylan Raiola is not a backup quarterback.
- 12:57Speaker 1: He started two years in Nebraska. So I'm not saying
- 12:59Speaker 1: that people were saying he was, but he's their backup quarterback,
- 13:01Speaker 1: and he went in and played really well. And so
- 13:04Speaker 1: it makes sense. Oregon has a ton of money. He
- 13:07Speaker 1: wanted to come in and sit for a year and
- 13:09Speaker 1: be the starter next year. It makes sense that he's good.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It makes sense that he did good as a backup
- 13:13Speaker 1: because he's not really a backup. He started two years
- 13:15Speaker 1: in Nebraska. He was a five star.
- 13:17Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 13:18Speaker 1: And no one's saying he isn't and wasn't. But when
- 13:21Speaker 1: you have that kind of money, you can pay for
- 13:22Speaker 1: backups like that.
- 13:23Speaker 7: They don't have that good of backups in the NFL.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Correct.
- 13:27Speaker 7: Like we're seeing that in the NFL now, you know.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Cam Little attempted a 70-yarder for Jacksonville and barely missed it.
- 13:33Speaker 3: So close.
- 13:34Speaker 5: I thought he was going to get it.
- 13:35Speaker 4: He had the distance.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Right at the half.
- 13:37Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 7: Close game, man.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. We'll get to that.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Don't worry.
- 13:40Speaker 7: That ruined it.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Don't worry, Patriots fan. We'll get to that one. Also
- 13:45Speaker 1: on my notes, I do have the Iowa student call
- 13:48Speaker 1: from the student radio station whenever they beat Michigan.
- 13:53Speaker 7: Hold on.
- 13:53Speaker 8: Here we go.
- 13:54Speaker 10: A defining Iowa moment. Weights in the wings. Can he
- 14:00Speaker 10: snatch it? Empty in the backfield. Hits his back foot.
- 14:07Speaker 10: Throws to the end zone.
- 14:09Speaker 8: Back shoulder.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Is he caught?
- 14:11Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 14:13Speaker 8: He caught it.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Oh, my God. He caught it. Western Michigan and the
- 14:17Speaker 1: college football world.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Iowa has your back.
- 14:21Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 14:23Speaker 8: That's awesome.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Great call.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that was good.
- 14:26Speaker 3: That was good. That was good.
- 14:27Speaker 7: I was wondering why he said Western Michigan. That was good, though.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And then my final note is the Bills uniforms.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Do you like them?
- 14:35Speaker 1: I like the helmets a lot. It was like an
- 14:37Speaker 1: extreme close zoom of that Buffalo, but it was only
- 14:39Speaker 1: the stripe, the red stripe.
- 14:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 14:40Speaker 4: It was really cool.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I like the helmets. I didn't love the uniforms. I
- 14:44Speaker 1: was indifferent on the uniforms.
- 14:45Speaker 8: Same.
- 14:46Speaker 1: But I did enjoy the helmets. It felt very Marvel-like,
- 14:49Speaker 1: like superhero-type helmets. You can't wear them often. Once a year,
- 14:52Speaker 1: that's cool.
- 14:53Speaker 8: Yeah. Are you?
- 14:55Speaker 1: You hate her?
- 14:56Speaker 7: No, I just, I don't know. I thought I'd like
- 14:58Speaker 7: them a little bit more, but the more I watch
- 15:00Speaker 7: the game, I'm like, I don't think I really like these, actually.
- 15:01Speaker 4: But doesn't it take a while to get used to
- 15:03Speaker 4: seeing a change like that?
- 15:06Speaker 7: Yes and no, but I mean, there have been some
- 15:07Speaker 7: sweet uniforms this year, and then there's a couple ugly throwbacks,
- 15:11Speaker 7: like the Steelers pop in mind, the Bumblebee ones or whatever,
- 15:13Speaker 7: but I'm pretty, like, on board with most of the
- 15:16Speaker 7: uniforms now in the NFL, but those ones just, I
- 15:18Speaker 7: don't know, they just didn't do it for me. Like,
- 15:20Speaker 7: the Broncos uniforms are sweet.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Well, that's also not going to be one that you
- 15:23Speaker 1: have to wait for change to like it, because there's
- 15:26Speaker 1: only one game and it's done.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:27Speaker 1: That happens, and you're supposed to like it immediately. That's novel.
- 15:31Speaker 1: That's cool. Then move on. But I liked Packers when
- 15:33Speaker 1: they do the Bumble.
- 15:34Speaker 7: Steelers.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I know I liked the Packers when they do those
- 15:37Speaker 1: old school leather helmet ones.
- 15:39Speaker 7: Yeah, the Packers are cool.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Their helmets are made to look like leather helmets.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Those are cool.
- 15:43Speaker 7: Yeah, those ones are cool, but it was the Steelers.
- 15:45Speaker 7: I don't even know if they do them anymore.
- 15:46Speaker 4: The Bumblebee?
- 15:47Speaker 7: The Bumblebee?
- 15:47Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Those are weird.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Okay, that's my final note that I took, although I
- 15:51Speaker 1: did make a note that Eddie is going to start
- 15:53Speaker 1: using AI to gamble, just in general, because he's so anti-AI.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Not that he hates it, he just doesn't want to
- 15:59Speaker 1: waste the time on it.
- 16:00Speaker 7: Correct.
- 16:01Speaker 6: I'm not against AI. I think it's more of just
- 16:04Speaker 6: like when new technology comes out, it's like, I like
- 16:07Speaker 6: my phone the way it is.
- 16:08Speaker 4: I like, you know, that's kind of how I am
- 16:10Speaker 4: until it's time.
- 16:11Speaker 5: To use AI.
- 16:13Speaker 4: I think this might be my time to use AI.
- 16:16Speaker 7: This is your reason?
- 16:16Speaker 6: I mean, guys, that's amazing. And think about, like, if
- 16:19Speaker 6: you ask it for, just give me a 10-game parlay.
- 16:22Speaker 8: Well.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Geez.
- 16:23Speaker 5: 10 games.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 16:26Speaker 7: Now you're pushing it.
- 16:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Me, I just said, hey, of all the bets in
- 16:30Speaker 1: the NFL, this is on Sunday, what's the one bet
- 16:32Speaker 1: you would take? And it said, well, I'd go Cincinnati
- 16:36Speaker 1: minus three and a half. And they were, if they
- 16:38Speaker 1: had a score or a touchdown, they'd end up winning
- 16:40Speaker 1: the thing. But ifs and buts, right?
- 16:41Speaker 9: Always.
- 16:42Speaker 8: Right.
- 16:42Speaker 1: But it nailed the three college bets. And I bet
- 16:44Speaker 1: all three of them.
- 16:45Speaker 8: Wow.
- 16:46Speaker 7: Florida won the over that I took with you. I
- 16:48Speaker 7: was a little nervous in the beginning. It was like 10-0,
- 16:50Speaker 7: and then it just like.
- 16:51Speaker 1: They scored 100 freaking points.
- 16:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:52Speaker 1: They even said take Arkansas under 50, even though it
- 16:55Speaker 1: had dropped three points. And I told you guys, I'm
- 16:57Speaker 1: going to bet light on this one because I need
- 17:00Speaker 1: Arkansas to score 50 points. And it was raining. And yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 1: they easily hit the under.
- 17:07Speaker 4: It's amazing.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So there you go, buddy. Now you have a reason
- 17:10Speaker 1: to use AI.
- 17:11Speaker 4: I mean, dude, I think I'm signing up for it.
- 17:13Speaker 5: I just put in for tonight's game. It says I'd
- 17:15Speaker 5: take under... 41.5 rather than laying the points.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Which app are you using?
- 17:21Speaker 5: ChatGPT. Is there a better one that you use?
- 17:24Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know if there's better or worse. That's
- 17:25Speaker 1: just not the one I've been using.
- 17:26Speaker 8: Okay.
- 17:28Speaker 1: So yours might be better. It might be 4-0. I
- 17:30Speaker 1: just know I'm staying consistent with mine because when I
- 17:32Speaker 1: told it, it let me down. It said, sorry, that's
- 17:34Speaker 1: on me, man.
- 17:35Speaker 4: And you got to love that.
- 17:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:36Speaker 7: He's like a hype man, too.
- 17:37Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I said, we didn't hit our bet. And he said,
- 17:40Speaker 1: brutal way to lose. Burrows strick sack with 53 seconds
- 17:43Speaker 1: left while driving for the tying field goal. Steelers 30,
- 17:46Speaker 1: Bengals 27. That's on me.
- 17:48Speaker 4: That's the best friend you could ever have.
- 17:50Speaker 7: Eddie would never say that.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Never.
- 17:52Speaker 1: No, Eddie would say, yeah, I bet it too. That's
- 17:53Speaker 1: what we lost.
- 17:54Speaker 5: He'd say water.
- 17:55Speaker 4: I wouldn't say that's what you would say.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Water. So, okay. Why don't we do our teams?
- 18:01Speaker 7: Are you sure?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll go to the Cowboys first. Eddie, by the way,
- 18:05Speaker 1: the field was fine.
- 18:06Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 1: After all the belly aching, crying, all the viral videos
- 18:11Speaker 1: of people going, look how weak. I never saw a
- 18:14Speaker 1: single piece of mud fly up.
- 18:15Speaker 4: Nah. I saw a few people slip. No big deal.
- 18:18Speaker 4: People slip at Foxborough. It wasn't a big deal.
- 18:23Speaker 1: What looked a little dangerous was I saw Lamar have
- 18:25Speaker 1: to jump the screens.
- 18:27Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 7: Yeah, like the digital screen.
- 18:29Speaker 1: In soccer, they don't have to run off so aggressively
- 18:32Speaker 1: because if you're getting out of bounds and you're running
- 18:34Speaker 1: as hard as you can, it's harder to slow down.
- 18:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 1: And so, Lamar had to completely jump that thing. It
- 18:39Speaker 1: was a little close for football. Eddie, your thoughts on
- 18:42Speaker 1: the Cowboys?
- 18:43Speaker 6: Entertaining game. Definitely fun to watch. I thought we were
- 18:47Speaker 6: going to win the game. I loved the lead we
- 18:50Speaker 6: took early on. I was like, that's exactly what we
- 18:53Speaker 6: need to do.
- 18:54Speaker 4: But our defense, man, our defense is depleted.
- 18:58Speaker 1: That goal line stand, I thought, won you guys the game.
- 19:01Speaker 6: What?
- 19:02Speaker 4: It won the game?
- 19:03Speaker 1: I thought you won the game when you stopped Derek Henry.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 19:05Speaker 4: That's it.
- 19:06Speaker 9: Yes.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Cowboys victory.
- 19:07Speaker 4: And defense is back.
- 19:09Speaker 7: No, I didn't think that.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Too many people were hurt.
- 19:11Speaker 9: Dude.
- 19:11Speaker 1: They were carting guys off like crazy.
- 19:12Speaker 6: And more people got hurt. I really don't know if
- 19:14Speaker 6: we have a team for next week. Like, honestly, I
- 19:16Speaker 6: don't know where they're going to pull defensive backs from.
- 19:18Speaker 1: You guys are playing the Texans next week, huh?
- 19:19Speaker 6: We're playing the Texans. So this is what I want
- 19:21Speaker 6: to talk about. When something bad happens, you look for
- 19:23Speaker 6: the future and like, give me something, a glimmer of hope.
- 19:26Speaker 4: And here we go. I think we got it. The
- 19:27Speaker 4: next six weeks, guys, should be wins.
- 19:30Speaker 1: The Texans are 0-3. But they're not really an 0-3 team. Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Because they had to play Buffalo. They had to play Cincinnati.
- 19:38Speaker 1: They should have won the game.
- 19:40Speaker 6: They should have won against India. That should have been
- 19:42Speaker 6: a win.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So that's why I say they're not a real 0-3.
- 19:46Speaker 4: If we look at the next six weeks.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Texans.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I think that... we could win five out of these six.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Okay, Texans. All right, Texans. That's the 50%.
- 19:55Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 19:55Speaker 4: We'll see how it goes.
- 19:56Speaker 8: Right?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Assign a letter to it.
- 19:58Speaker 4: I'd love to put a W on that.
- 19:59Speaker 1: So are you?
- 19:59Speaker 8: Yes.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Cowboys win that game.
- 20:01Speaker 9: Okay.
- 20:02Speaker 4: After that, the Buccaneers. What are we dealing with?
- 20:04Speaker 1: They're 0-3 and 1-2. Baker's thumb is, I haven't seen
- 20:07Speaker 1: anything this morning.
- 20:08Speaker 7: Out for three weeks.
- 20:09Speaker 8: Three weeks.
- 20:09Speaker 1: That's why he's going to get an MRI.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Yep.
- 20:11Speaker 1: So that means Jaden Daniels is going to be there.
- 20:14Speaker 7: Jalen Daniels.
- 20:15Speaker 4: No, no, no, not Jaden.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Sorry, Jalen.
- 20:16Speaker 8: Yes.
- 20:17Speaker 1: From Kansas.
- 20:18Speaker 8: Yes.
- 20:18Speaker 1: The Kansas quarterback is going to be their starter.
- 20:20Speaker 9: Great.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Welcome to the league, kid. We're going to swallow you up.
- 20:23Speaker 7: With that defense you don't like.
- 20:25Speaker 4: With the defense, if anyone shows up.
- 20:28Speaker 1: So that's a win. W, that's two. That's a win.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Then we got the Packers. I think the Packers, though,
- 20:34Speaker 1: can win games.
- 20:35Speaker 6: For sure.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I'd put the L there.
- 20:37Speaker 4: For sure?
- 20:38Speaker 9: Yes.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Yes. I think the Packers are better than the record.
- 20:41Speaker 4: All right. That may be the 50% one. Okay.
- 20:44Speaker 1: We've already 50% of the Texans.
- 20:45Speaker 4: And the Eagles, guys, come on.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Oh, you're going to lose to the Eagles?
- 20:48Speaker 4: Oh, please.
- 20:49Speaker 6: The Eagles aren't the Eagles that we are used to seeing.
- 20:52Speaker 6: This is a different team. I think we hand it
- 20:55Speaker 6: to the Eagles. that's going to be a W for sure.
- 20:58Speaker 5: We hand the win to the Eagles?
- 21:00Speaker 9: No, no, no.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You have three games out of that five you just
- 21:03Speaker 1: listed that you could easily lose.
- 21:04Speaker 4: We won't, though. Those will be wins.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Okay, who's next?
- 21:06Speaker 4: The Cardinals.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Okay, that one you should win.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Put a W on that one. So that's it.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Three and three.
- 21:11Speaker 4: That's it. Three and three.
- 21:12Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Three and three.
- 21:14Speaker 5: We're back.
- 21:16Speaker 4: I say we lose one out of those six. And
- 21:18Speaker 4: then we play the 49ers. That's going to hurt.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I bet you lose two, maybe three. Yeah. The Texans...
- 21:25Speaker 1: the Packers, the Eagles.
- 21:28Speaker 5: I'd be, yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Oh, I forgot. We got the Colts before the Niners.
- 21:33Speaker 4: That's a W.
- 21:34Speaker 1: They may be better than we thought.
- 21:35Speaker 4: The Colts?
- 21:36Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 21:37Speaker 4: I hope not, because we have our skins on them.
- 21:38Speaker 1: We have the freaking Cowboys, too, because you yell, how
- 21:40Speaker 1: about them Cowboys? And you've got to take them out.
- 21:42Speaker 8: I know, yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Kevin, your Patriots got freaking demolished.
- 21:45Speaker 7: Yeah, but my Tigers down in Louisiana, man.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Don't start.
- 21:49Speaker 8: Kevin, don't start.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You drew from a hat, and now it's your team.
- 21:56Speaker 7: No, yeah, the Patriots, man, that was brutal. Drake May has,
- 22:01Speaker 7: I mean, it's just getting worse.
- 22:03Speaker 1: That's the crazy part. John Mateer, the same person.
- 22:05Speaker 7: Yeah. And I'm looking at Mac Jones. I don't know
- 22:07Speaker 7: if it's the number 10 or again, and I'm just like,
- 22:09Speaker 7: what the heck am I watching?
- 22:11Speaker 1: You're looking at old Mac Jones.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Yes.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Not 49ers.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Not last year, Mac Jones, who had to come into play.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Dominated.
- 22:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 7: I'm looking at Matt Patricia, offensive coordinator, Mac Jones.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's bad, man.
- 22:22Speaker 7: It was really, really frustrating, hard to watch. It's just
- 22:26Speaker 7: all around. I don't know if it's the Vrabel offseason stuff,
- 22:29Speaker 7: and maybe I can blame him and Diana Rossini.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Rossini's calling the plays?
- 22:33Speaker 7: She's listening like the Colts owner maybe.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 22:37Speaker 7: And their team just looks so out of sync. I
- 22:40Speaker 7: don't know what they are really. Their offense is boring.
- 22:43Speaker 7: I know we don't have A.J. Brown, but we have
- 22:46Speaker 7: Romeo Dobbs who's literally done like nothing. Drake May is.
- 22:49Speaker 1: It's the interceptions and the fumbles.
- 22:51Speaker 7: Fumbles, yeah.
- 22:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 22:52Speaker 7: That are just brutal. The one yesterday where he just
- 22:54Speaker 7: literally just dropped.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Yeah, that just fell out of his hand.
- 22:56Speaker 7: Yeah, as they're driving to possibly take the lead early
- 22:59Speaker 7: in the game. All right, cool. Off to a good
- 23:00Speaker 7: start here. Let me just drop this real quick. That
- 23:03Speaker 7: was weird.
- 23:03Speaker 4: It did look like he wanted to just be like,
- 23:05Speaker 4: I don't want that.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Did you see the John Mateer play in Oklahoma when
- 23:07Speaker 1: he did close to the same thing? He went back
- 23:09Speaker 1: to throw and it flew out of his hand.
- 23:11Speaker 7: And there was a thing I saw this morning where
- 23:13Speaker 7: the center for the Patriots had blood on his hand
- 23:16Speaker 7: that got on the football and I guess Drake May
- 23:19Speaker 7: was saying that he had blood on his hand. We
- 23:20Speaker 7: need to go throw that. And there's a picture I saw.
- 23:22Speaker 7: There's like a little blood on his thumb. But I'm like,
- 23:25Speaker 7: all right, we can't just.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Wait, so what? Did he curse him?
- 23:28Speaker 1: Or he didn't want to touch it?
- 23:28Speaker 7: Yeah, so the blood made it slippery as he was
- 23:30Speaker 7: trying to throw it.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Okay. What about every other interception?
- 23:33Speaker 4: I agree.
- 23:35Speaker 7: The one in the end zone? Oh, my gosh. Oh,
- 23:37Speaker 7: my gosh.
- 23:39Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 23:39Speaker 6: I feel like they're trying to say like he had
- 23:41Speaker 6: the ball and noticed it had blood.
- 23:42Speaker 4: He's like, ooh, I don't want that.
- 23:43Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 7: It was hard to watch. I'm very disappointed. Then it
- 23:47Speaker 7: doesn't get any easier because we have the Bills this week.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's tough.
- 23:51Speaker 7: So we got to play off baseball this week, though, guys.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Don't worry.
- 23:55Speaker 4: We do.
- 23:55Speaker 1: So how do you feel about your team right now?
- 23:57Speaker 7: The Red Sox or the Patriots?
- 23:58Speaker 3: The Patriots.
- 23:59Speaker 7: Not great.
- 24:00Speaker 8: Really?
- 24:00Speaker 9: Playoffs?
- 24:01Speaker 7: Really not great.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Ah. Don't cry, dude.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Are you okay, Kevin?
- 24:09Speaker 7: I'm just trying to think of the AFC. It's just loaded, man.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 24:13Speaker 7: Yeah, I think we're going to sneak into the seventh seed.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Cowboys playoffs?
- 24:17Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, for sure. Yeah, we'll be in there.
- 24:21Speaker 1: He has no reason to think that. You have a
- 24:22Speaker 1: reason of last year your team performed well with the
- 24:25Speaker 1: same coaching staff, same quarterback. There's at least some logic
- 24:27Speaker 1: to you thinking that you'll find a way to make
- 24:29Speaker 1: it based on history. Eddie has no, absolutely no reason
- 24:33Speaker 1: to think the Cowboys will make it, and he could
- 24:34Speaker 1: have said yes quicker.
- 24:35Speaker 4: We got a lot of logic.
- 24:36Speaker 6: I think the schedule is a little easier than we think,
- 24:39Speaker 6: and then our division is kind of weak.
- 24:43Speaker 4: There's your logic. I'll see you in the postseason.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Is it?
- 24:47Speaker 1: It's wild that the Cowboys are playing next week.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Without a defense?
- 24:51Speaker 1: No.
- 24:52Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 24:53Speaker 1: After being in another country.
- 24:55Speaker 8: I know.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Give them some time, right?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Like when you got to fly back 12 hours, you
- 25:00Speaker 1: should at least get the Monday night game.
- 25:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Hey, and I think we were wrong about the time
- 25:05Speaker 6: over there. It was not nighttime over there. Because they
- 25:08Speaker 6: must be further away. East than we are. And they
- 25:12Speaker 6: even said that it was a longer flight for the
- 25:14Speaker 6: Cowboys than it was for the Ravens, which is crazy.
- 25:19Speaker 1: How does that work?
- 25:20Speaker 4: I think South America is just like Brazil. I was
- 25:22Speaker 4: in South America. Yeah, but you were like closer to
- 25:26Speaker 4: the top.
- 25:26Speaker 1: You just said South America as in.
- 25:29Speaker 4: The whole thing. I remember Brazil.
- 25:31Speaker 7: It says they're two hours ahead of us right now.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Okay, so one hour more than Eastern.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Yeah, so they're further east. Which is crazy because it
- 25:39Speaker 4: was dark at 3 o'clock.
- 25:41Speaker 1: So it would be like 5 there.
- 25:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Okay. I think it's weird they're playing a normal game.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Or at least give them like a Monday night game
- 25:48Speaker 4: or something.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Are you listening to the show?
- 25:49Speaker 9: No.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I literally just said that.
- 25:51Speaker 4: I was thinking of logic behind the Cowboys.
- 25:56Speaker 7: Sorry, dude.
- 25:56Speaker 5: Let's just repeat everything Bobby says.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:01Speaker 1: So you're going to the playoffs?
- 26:02Speaker 4: Yes, we'll be there.
- 26:03Speaker 7: Yeah, we're sneaking in.
- 26:04Speaker 1: You're sneaking in. Hey, Mike, what about Texas?
- 26:07Speaker 5: I feel good.
- 26:07Speaker 11: Just tough schedule coming up. Oklahoma, Florida, Ole Miss.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Oklahoma, you should wax them.
- 26:13Speaker 11: But Red River's always just a different beast.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. I actually agree with that still, though.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I think you guys should run that one. I've watched
- 26:20Speaker 1: every Oklahoma game. I thought they'd be better.
- 26:24Speaker 9: I did.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I thought they'd be better defensively.
- 26:27Speaker 7: How are your in-laws taking it?
- 26:28Speaker 1: I don't ask questions.
- 26:30Speaker 4: That's a good call.
- 26:31Speaker 1: They don't ask me questions. When Arkansas sucks. Unless we're
- 26:34Speaker 1: in person, we don't text about a loss. But like, hey,
- 26:37Speaker 1: how do you feel about that?
- 26:38Speaker 7: Honestly, though, is it a little, help you as an
- 26:41Speaker 7: Arkansas fan for them to struggle a little this year?
- 26:43Speaker 1: If it were just my wife, I would love it.
- 26:46Speaker 1: If it's my father-in-law, I'd like for them to win
- 26:48Speaker 1: because he really appreciates and enjoys them. If it weren't
- 26:52Speaker 1: for him, I wish they'd lose every game because my
- 26:55Speaker 1: wife's like, well, of course Billy's going to love the Sooners.
- 26:57Speaker 1: They win. She says crap like that. But because of
- 27:02Speaker 1: my father-in-law, no. Dang. I know.
- 27:05Speaker 8: I respect that.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I find no joy in them losing. They got whooped
- 27:12Speaker 1: by Georgia. Good God.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Couldn't believe that score.
- 27:15Speaker 7: That was a bad one.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So you feel good about Texas, Mike? Yeah, I feel good. Okay.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Let's take a break, and we'll talk to John Talti.
- 27:22Speaker 1: We'll do some college football with John Talti. from CBS Sports.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Got a great book called Lane Being Lane. Eddie was
- 27:29Speaker 1: just asking me for it. You going to tackle that one?
- 27:31Speaker 4: I'm going to try to read it.
- 27:31Speaker 1: You're going to have like three books. Get the Kenny
- 27:33Speaker 1: Chesney book over there too.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Right now I have three books that I'm choosing from. Chesney,
- 27:36Speaker 4: The Alchemist. Don't read The Alchemist.
- 27:38Speaker 9: No?
- 27:38Speaker 1: Not right now.
- 27:39Speaker 4: It's too heavy for me?
- 27:40Speaker 9: No.
- 27:41Speaker 5: You're good.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It's not too heavy. Just read something that will bring
- 27:45Speaker 1: you joy.
- 27:46Speaker 4: That won't bring me joy?
- 27:48Speaker 1: It could.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Or is it too smart?
- 27:50Speaker 1: No, it's definitely not. It's not that at all. The
- 27:55Speaker 1: Alchemist is a bit of a metaphor.
- 27:57Speaker 10: For?
- 27:58Speaker 1: I don't want to tell you about the book.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Spoiler. Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I think you should read the Lane or the Kenny book.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Okay. Then I'll do Lane.
- 28:06Speaker 1: If we have it here still. Okay. If not.
- 28:09Speaker 4: And you read the Lane book in how many days?
- 28:12Speaker 1: Two and a half, three.
- 28:13Speaker 7: Don't compare yourself to him.
- 28:14Speaker 4: No, I'm not.
- 28:14Speaker 1: But it's not a comparison because the book is like
- 28:16Speaker 1: 400 pages.
- 28:17Speaker 9: 400.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Oh, it has pictures though.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Mine didn't.
- 28:21Speaker 4: The Talti book doesn't have pictures?
- 28:24Speaker 5: How many pages?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Oh, look.
- 28:26Speaker 7: It doesn't have pictures, dude.
- 28:28Speaker 4: I would think it has pictures of Lane.
- 28:29Speaker 7: Is it like a biography?
- 28:30Speaker 1: I didn't see any pictures, no. Really? Okay. How many
- 28:35Speaker 1: pages is... 320.
- 28:36Speaker 11: Okay, there you go.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Dang! On one dude?
- 28:40Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't 400.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it's less than 400.
- 28:42Speaker 1: So I read that in three days.
- 28:43Speaker 7: Okay.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Don't compare yourself.
- 28:44Speaker 4: No, I'm not comparing myself. I just want to see
- 28:46Speaker 4: what I'm getting myself into.
- 28:47Speaker 1: All right, we'll talk to John Talti coming up next.

- 30:11Speaker 1: Joining us today, my sports hero, John Talti. And we're
- 30:16Speaker 1: talking college football. He's from CBS Sports. Follow him on Twitter,
- 30:19Speaker 1: at JTalti. keep up with his work. And he's got
- 30:22Speaker 1: a great book about Lane Kiffin. I feel like I've
- 30:24Speaker 1: talked about that so much, but John, appreciate you. And
- 30:27Speaker 1: I was reading a little bit about Texas and the
- 30:30Speaker 1: words paper tiger have been used. What do you think
- 30:33Speaker 1: about that?
- 30:34Speaker 9: There's just something that feels off about them, Bobby. So,
- 30:36Speaker 9: you know, they're the number one team in the country.
- 30:39Speaker 9: They've been number one in my playoff projections. They have
- 30:42Speaker 9: two of the best, you know, wins in the country,
- 30:44Speaker 9: Ohio State and obviously Tennessee this past weekend. But when
- 30:48Speaker 9: you watch them, something just feels off. And maybe, again,
- 30:53Speaker 9: at the end of the year, we just say, you
- 30:54Speaker 9: know what? This is a team that just was resilient.
- 30:56Speaker 9: They found ways to win games they shouldn't have. And
- 30:59Speaker 9: it's all part of this magical year.
- 31:00Speaker 8: Or.
- 31:02Speaker 9: We'll get to a point where in a week or two,
- 31:04Speaker 9: we think, man, this was building for a couple of
- 31:06Speaker 9: weeks now and they were bound to get tripped up
- 31:09Speaker 9: the way they might in that game.
- 31:10Speaker 8: So, you know, you watch them. There's just they do
- 31:13Speaker 8: weird stuff.
- 31:14Speaker 9: I mean, the penalty, one of them did admittedly make
- 31:17Speaker 9: me laugh because I'm a little immature, but a dumb
- 31:19Speaker 9: moment in an important time. Um, but just some of
- 31:23Speaker 9: the things that did at the end of the game
- 31:25Speaker 9: where Tennessee's offense was a mess for a lot of
- 31:28Speaker 9: that game had, you know, looked like no business being
- 31:30Speaker 9: in it. And yet they have a shot to win
- 31:32Speaker 9: at the end, uh, which was kind of unbelievable to watch. So,
- 31:36Speaker 9: you know, there's a lot to like if you're a
- 31:37Speaker 9: Texas fan, but also I know some of the Texas
- 31:40Speaker 9: fans in my life are very nervous as they watch
- 31:42Speaker 9: these games feeling like something just feels a little iffy
- 31:46Speaker 9: about them.
- 31:47Speaker 1: You feel like Arch Manning's draft stock is somehow going down.
- 31:51Speaker 3: I do.
- 31:52Speaker 9: And I think, you know, coming in to the season,
- 31:55Speaker 9: there were questions about are we going to see the
- 31:57Speaker 9: guy who was, you know, Arch Manning at the beginning
- 32:00Speaker 9: of last season where he struggled against Ohio State, struggled
- 32:03Speaker 9: against UTEP? Or are we going to get the guy
- 32:05Speaker 9: who looked pretty good at the end of the year?
- 32:07Speaker 9: And it's been a mixed bag so far. And I
- 32:09Speaker 9: think what you one of the popular criticisms, which is.
- 32:12Speaker 9: I don't personally believe in. I still like Arch. I
- 32:15Speaker 9: still think he's a viable draft prospect. But the thing
- 32:18Speaker 9: you hear over and over again about him is if
- 32:20Speaker 9: his last name was, say, Talty, he would not be
- 32:24Speaker 9: viewed as this top 10 draft pick. A lot of
- 32:27Speaker 9: it's based on that, of course, famous last name of Manning.
- 32:31Speaker 9: And so that I think that narrative is definitely building
- 32:34Speaker 9: based off what we've seen. And You look at him
- 32:37Speaker 9: against Tennessee, and that is, I think, a very good defense,
- 32:40Speaker 9: but he didn't look great. He got bailed out a
- 32:42Speaker 9: couple times, made some mistakes. It's just been a bit
- 32:45Speaker 9: of an up-and-down year for him so far, and he
- 32:49Speaker 9: hasn't quite turned that page to be the guy we
- 32:52Speaker 9: thought he was going to be when he initially went
- 32:54Speaker 9: to Texas.
- 32:56Speaker 1: What kind of coach is Sarkeesian? Players coach? Hard-nosed coach?
- 33:00Speaker 1: You spent some time on him in your book. I'm
- 33:02Speaker 1: just wondering your thoughts.
- 33:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:03Speaker 9: I mean, he's got some of the Pete Carroll, but probably,
- 33:06Speaker 9: you know, some of that Pete Carroll and Nick Saban combo,
- 33:09Speaker 9: he's an intense guy. I mean, you can see that, um,
- 33:12Speaker 9: on the sidelines, you can see that, um, while you're
- 33:15Speaker 9: watching games, I can think back to a famous clip where, uh,
- 33:18Speaker 9: I think it was an ESPN person on the sideline
- 33:21Speaker 9: who kind of put their hand in front of him, uh,
- 33:24Speaker 9: before running out in the field and Sark, uh, just
- 33:26Speaker 9: absolutely let him have it. Um, if If your listeners
- 33:29Speaker 9: haven't seen that clip, I fully recommend Googling him. It's
- 33:32Speaker 9: pretty wild. But he's an intense guy. And I think
- 33:36Speaker 9: one of his strengths is the self-belief that he has
- 33:40Speaker 9: in his system and what he does.
- 33:41Speaker 8: And I would argue.
- 33:43Speaker 9: The flip side is that is one of his weaknesses
- 33:45Speaker 9: where I think he has been very loyal to some
- 33:48Speaker 9: of his assistants, some of which he brought with him
- 33:51Speaker 9: from Alabama that have not necessarily paid off the way
- 33:55Speaker 9: that you should or they should have. And I think
- 33:58Speaker 9: if Arch Manning does not become the guy we think
- 34:01Speaker 9: he could have become when he got there, there'll be
- 34:03Speaker 9: some real criticism on Sark for his QB development skills
- 34:06Speaker 9: and not giving Arch everything he's needed to be as
- 34:10Speaker 9: successful as he could be.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I was reading your article, and I bet you talk
- 34:15Speaker 1: about possibly fining these players that have, and you could
- 34:19Speaker 1: talk about the Desmond Stephens hit or the unsportsmanlike penalty
- 34:23Speaker 1: with Colin Simmons. But what do you think about this,
- 34:25Speaker 1: fining these college kids now?
- 34:27Speaker 9: Well, it's already starting to happen on a school-by-school level.
- 34:31Speaker 9: And that's even written into some of their contracts. Like,
- 34:34Speaker 9: if you miss class, we can fine you $ 250 or.
- 34:38Speaker 8: Whatever it might be.
- 34:39Speaker 9: And so that's already happening to some extent, but not
- 34:42Speaker 9: at the broader, whether it's conference or league, you know,
- 34:47Speaker 9: NCAA-wide level. The way you see at the NFL, you know,
- 34:51Speaker 9: there was just a fine of a guy– allegedly fake
- 34:54Speaker 9: chugging a beer, and he got fined. That has not
- 34:57Speaker 9: made its way down to the college level yet, but
- 35:00Speaker 9: you could see that being something that happens down the line.
- 35:03Speaker 9: And specifically with that hit on Dante Moore, which he
- 35:07Speaker 9: has since been suspended, which I think is the.
- 35:09Speaker 8: Right move by USC.
- 35:11Speaker 9: But not only was it a dirty hit and a
- 35:13Speaker 9: head-hunting type hit, but the way that he celebrated it
- 35:17Speaker 9: afterwards was frankly gross. And there's shots of him on
- 35:21Speaker 9: sideline basically laughing about it as Dante Moore still lying
- 35:24Speaker 9: on the ground in seemingly a lot of pain and distress.
- 35:27Speaker 9: And so that, to me, feels like a situation where
- 35:31Speaker 9: the Big Ten would be able to come in and say,
- 35:32Speaker 9: all right, we're fining this guy $ 10, 000. And that's what
- 35:36Speaker 9: the penalty is for what you did. Now, there's a
- 35:39Speaker 9: lot wrapped into that. I don't want to bore your
- 35:41Speaker 9: listeners with collective bargaining and all the things that would
- 35:45Speaker 9: probably have to come with it. But it does feel
- 35:47Speaker 9: like as we become more and more professionalized, Maybe we
- 35:50Speaker 9: see some of those things at the NFL, NBA level
- 35:53Speaker 9: trickle down to create good behavior and avoid some of
- 35:57Speaker 9: the issues we're seeing at the college level.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I did watch most of the Oklahoma-Georgia game because all
- 36:01Speaker 1: my family, as much as I'm an Arkansas fan, they're
- 36:04Speaker 1: all Oklahoma fans. That was not a pretty game. John
- 36:07Speaker 1: Mateer had one of the worst performances I've seen of
- 36:10Speaker 1: any supposedly good quarterback. What do you think Oklahoma does
- 36:13Speaker 1: with him?
- 36:14Speaker 8: I'm of the belief they should bench him.
- 36:15Speaker 9: Now, I know that's an extreme solution, but, you know,
- 36:20Speaker 9: Brent Venables did talk about after the game they considered
- 36:22Speaker 9: doing it at halftime. And to me, Mateer just looks
- 36:26Speaker 9: broken from a confidence standpoint. And, you know, it just
- 36:29Speaker 9: does not feel like he has the confidence to go
- 36:32Speaker 9: out there and be successful.
- 36:34Speaker 8: And so they've got a bye week here.
- 36:36Speaker 9: Either you need to find a way to get this
- 36:38Speaker 9: guy back into rhythm and get him back in a
- 36:41Speaker 9: place where he feels like when he walks out into
- 36:43Speaker 9: the field, he's going to be successful or you need
- 36:45Speaker 9: to make a move and, you know, go to a
- 36:48Speaker 9: backup and try to get them ready, uh, for what's
- 36:51Speaker 9: a really important game coming up against Texas. But I mean, Bobby,
- 36:54Speaker 9: I've watched a lot of their games this season. Um,
- 36:57Speaker 9: I think he played a role in them losing to Michigan.
- 37:01Speaker 9: He played a role in them almost losing to New Mexico.
- 37:04Speaker 9: And he had no chance against Georgia. And Oklahoma wasn't
- 37:09Speaker 9: going to win that game probably regardless. But his play
- 37:12Speaker 9: did not help them in any way. And so, you know,
- 37:15Speaker 9: it's hard, especially when these schools know how much they've
- 37:17Speaker 9: invested in them. I'd put Texas A & M and
- 37:20Speaker 9: Marcel Reed in kind of the same camp. But at
- 37:23Speaker 9: a certain point, you can't keep throwing good money after bad.
- 37:26Speaker 9: And if this guy's not getting it done, you've got
- 37:29Speaker 9: to consider somebody else who might be able to give
- 37:31Speaker 9: the team some juice and a lift. And right now,
- 37:34Speaker 9: it just does not seem like Mateer is able to
- 37:36Speaker 9: do that. And they're going to have to do a
- 37:38Speaker 9: lot to try to get him mentally back in it
- 37:40Speaker 9: ahead of the rest of their schedule.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Admittedly, through a few weeks, I'd slept a bit on Florida.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And possibly it was because of just who they had played.
- 37:50Speaker 1: but they jump from 21 to eight and I watch
- 37:52Speaker 1: most of that game and one, they're really good. But
- 37:56Speaker 1: how much of that was Ole Miss just being exhausted?
- 37:58Speaker 9: I think it's a combination of the two. I mean,
- 38:01Speaker 9: I was a huge fan of John Summerall. I thought
- 38:03Speaker 9: that was a great hire for Florida. And you listen,
- 38:06Speaker 9: we're only through a few weeks, but you know, right now,
- 38:09Speaker 9: I don't think Florida fans are particularly sad that that
- 38:12Speaker 9: when Kiffin spurred them to go to LSU and they
- 38:14Speaker 9: got John Summerall instead, they play hard, they play aggressive.
- 38:18Speaker 9: I was very impressed. By what I saw offensively and defensively, obviously,
- 38:23Speaker 9: you know, we know kind of what they were able
- 38:24Speaker 9: to do in the running game. And that was incredibly
- 38:27Speaker 9: successful against Ole Miss. But just across the board, I
- 38:30Speaker 9: just liked a lot of what I saw from Florida.
- 38:33Speaker 9: And I also was kind of a skeptic coming into
- 38:35Speaker 9: that game. So they've made me much more of a believer.
- 38:38Speaker 9: But yeah, I mean, Ole Miss, it felt like the
- 38:40Speaker 9: kind of the classic trap game where you're coming off
- 38:42Speaker 9: of this emotional high of beating Lane Kiffin. They said
- 38:46Speaker 9: all the right things about it wasn't their Super Bowl
- 38:49Speaker 9: and they're on to the next. But there was a
- 38:51Speaker 9: reason Vegas made Florida, I think, a favorite in that game,
- 38:53Speaker 9: that it was going to be really hard for Ole
- 38:55Speaker 9: Miss to go into the swamp and win. You didn't
- 38:57Speaker 9: have Kewon Lacy, which was obviously an impact on what
- 39:00Speaker 9: they could do offensively.
- 39:02Speaker 8: And then their defense just looked like a mess.
- 39:04Speaker 9: So they also have a bye coming up here. I'd
- 39:07Speaker 9: be interested to see what Pete Golding does to try
- 39:10Speaker 9: to fix that defense because not only is he the
- 39:13Speaker 9: head coach, but he's also– The defensive coordinator and the
- 39:16Speaker 9: defensive play caller. And that's just a lot for a
- 39:18Speaker 9: first time head coach to manage. And so I think
- 39:21Speaker 9: just from the outside, I'd like to see him maybe
- 39:23Speaker 9: delegate some more of those responsibilities because it didn't look
- 39:26Speaker 9: like it's.
- 39:27Speaker 8: Really been working super well. Certainly not.
- 39:30Speaker 9: Against Florida, but it's something they're going to have to
- 39:32Speaker 9: figure out ahead of what's a pretty challenging schedule for
- 39:36Speaker 9: Ole Miss the rest of the way.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Where LSU had the big letdown the week before, I mean,
- 39:40Speaker 1: they pummeled Texas A & M, but A & M
- 39:43Speaker 1: just got beat by Kentucky as well. So is LSU
- 39:45Speaker 1: that good or is A & M, were they just
- 39:47Speaker 1: vastly overrated?
- 39:49Speaker 8: A and M looks bad. Um, they look bad in
- 39:51Speaker 8: a lot of ways.
- 39:52Speaker 9: Um, I mean, Marcel Reed, as I mentioned earlier, like
- 39:55Speaker 9: just does not look like the guy right now. Um,
- 39:57Speaker 9: they're paying him, you know, multimillion dollars and he is
- 40:00Speaker 9: not delivering upon that value. It's not just on him
- 40:02Speaker 9: to be clear when you lose the way they did.
- 40:04Speaker 9: It's not just on one person, but he does not
- 40:07Speaker 9: look capable right now of being able to come anywhere
- 40:10Speaker 9: close to meeting kind of the lofty preseason expectations.
- 40:14Speaker 8: Not only he had, but, but that program had.
- 40:16Speaker 9: So, uh, I was a skeptic of A & M
- 40:18Speaker 9: coming into the season just because they lost 10 guys
- 40:20Speaker 9: to the NFL. It's a lot to replace. They lost
- 40:23Speaker 9: both the offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator. And I think
- 40:26Speaker 9: you're just seeing it catch up to them this year
- 40:29Speaker 9: where nothing's really coming easy for them the way it
- 40:32Speaker 9: did a season ago. And here they are now essentially,
- 40:36Speaker 9: you know, preseason top 10 team. They're almost already out
- 40:38Speaker 9: of the playoff race. And there's some real questions about
- 40:42Speaker 9: how do we get this thing back on track? And
- 40:44Speaker 9: I wouldn't be surprised if you might see some more
- 40:47Speaker 9: coordinator moves at the end of the season, because it
- 40:49Speaker 9: just doesn't feel like they are the team that a
- 40:52Speaker 9: lot of us really liked a year ago. Flipside LSU
- 40:56Speaker 9: looked great.
- 40:57Speaker 8: They were getting banged up bad.
- 40:59Speaker 9: They've lost some significant players to injuries. Whit Weeks was
- 41:02Speaker 9: the big one against A & M. And so that's
- 41:05Speaker 9: potentially going to catch up to them at some point,
- 41:07Speaker 9: which is unfortunate. But you know, right now, they showed
- 41:11Speaker 9: you kind of what they're capable of doing. Blake Baker's
- 41:13Speaker 9: defense was terrific, and the offense, when it's rolling, looks good.
- 41:18Speaker 9: And even Sam Levitt being banged up and kind of
- 41:21Speaker 9: hobbling around still was able to do enough to easily
- 41:25Speaker 9: beat A & M and keep LSU in the playoff
- 41:27Speaker 9: race as we head toward October.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I hated to see Alabama just roll over South Carolina
- 41:32Speaker 1: just because I like Shane Beamer, like, as a person.
- 41:35Speaker 1: But now I'm starting to see all the posts on Twitter,
- 41:38Speaker 1: on Well, who's our next coach? Do we feel like
- 41:41Speaker 1: it's over for Beamer at South Carolina?
- 41:43Speaker 9: I don't know that it's over, but it is trending
- 41:46Speaker 9: that direction is what I would say.
- 41:48Speaker 8: He's got two.
- 41:50Speaker 9: really important games coming up here. He's got Kentucky and
- 41:53Speaker 9: then Florida and then a bye. Losing both of those
- 41:56Speaker 9: ahead of a bye, I think would get challenging for Shane.
- 42:01Speaker 9: We see typically teams, if they're going to make a move,
- 42:03Speaker 9: you like to do it in the bye week because
- 42:05Speaker 9: it buys you an extra week to transition to whoever
- 42:07Speaker 9: the interim head coach might be. So that's one that
- 42:10Speaker 9: I think people are starting to talk a little bit
- 42:12Speaker 9: more about. I mean, I'm not shocked they lost to Alabama, right?
- 42:16Speaker 9: Alabama's a good team. Keelan Russell looks great. But South
- 42:19Speaker 9: Carolina just it just feels like it's missing something. And,
- 42:22Speaker 9: you know, Bobby, I can think back to you. I
- 42:24Speaker 9: was I went to South Carolina last year before their
- 42:26Speaker 9: season and there was just so much hope around the program.
- 42:29Speaker 9: And with Norris Sellers and Dylan Stewart coming back and
- 42:33Speaker 9: they had just missed the playoff the season ago. And
- 42:35Speaker 9: it felt like that program was really on an upward
- 42:38Speaker 9: trajectory where they were going to be able to compete
- 42:40Speaker 9: for a playoff in twenty twenty five. That didn't happen
- 42:43Speaker 9: at all. But Shane Beamer was still confident coming into
- 42:46Speaker 9: this year. Like we got talent coming back. Our team
- 42:48Speaker 9: is going to be better. You know, I think he
- 42:50Speaker 9: even guaranteed it. And we just haven't seen that so far.
- 42:53Speaker 9: So I like Shane a lot. I think he's a
- 42:55Speaker 9: good person. You want people like that to win, but
- 42:58Speaker 9: it feels like the walls are closing in on him
- 43:00Speaker 9: right now. And, it's getting harder and harder to see
- 43:04Speaker 9: how he's going to find a way out of that. Now,
- 43:07Speaker 9: if he wins his next two games, it's right back
- 43:09Speaker 9: in a good place. But the way Kentucky's playing, the
- 43:12Speaker 9: way Florida's playing, those games feel like pretty uphill battles
- 43:15Speaker 9: for Beamer. And so all that, plus the Dylan Stewart
- 43:19Speaker 9: drama that's brewing around, just feels like the vibes are
- 43:23Speaker 9: bad right now in Columbia. And he is a guy
- 43:28Speaker 9: who is increasingly on the hot seat nationally of a
- 43:31Speaker 9: job that people are really keeping an eye on.
- 43:33Speaker 1: That clip of Stewart coming off the field and Beamer
- 43:36Speaker 1: talking to him, but Stewart just keeps walking and blows
- 43:38Speaker 1: him off. That, that, that hurt me a little bit
- 43:40Speaker 1: to see.
- 43:41Speaker 8: It's tough.
- 43:41Speaker 9: And cause like Beamer's a players, players coach, right? I mean, he's,
- 43:45Speaker 9: he's a nice guy. He's a likable guy. And so
- 43:47Speaker 9: when you have one of your top players disrespect you
- 43:50Speaker 9: the way that he did, the outside people are outside opinions.
- 43:53Speaker 9: Like has Shane lost the locker room right now? I
- 43:55Speaker 9: think he did the right thing, suspending him. I'm sure
- 43:58Speaker 9: that was hard for him to do, but I think
- 43:59Speaker 9: if you're Beamer and you're trying to hold, you know,
- 44:02Speaker 9: hold that rope to not lose your culture and lose
- 44:04Speaker 9: your kind of ownership and of the locker room, you
- 44:07Speaker 9: had to do something like that. But it's just a
- 44:09Speaker 9: bad sign that a guy who people thought potential top
- 44:14Speaker 9: 10 NFL draft pick is disrespecting you the way that
- 44:17Speaker 9: he did. There's video of him punching Alabama players. He
- 44:20Speaker 9: was just out of control in that game. And that's
- 44:23Speaker 9: not a good sign for kind of where your program is.
- 44:26Speaker 9: And so the fact that Stewart's going to miss the
- 44:28Speaker 9: Kentucky game, potentially the Florida game, that does not help
- 44:31Speaker 9: South Carolina's chances of winning those games. But I also
- 44:34Speaker 9: fully understand and respect Beamer had to do that to
- 44:38Speaker 9: try to send a message to his team that that
- 44:39Speaker 9: is not acceptable behavior.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Two more football questions and one book question. Penn State
- 44:44Speaker 1: lost at home to Wisconsin. So, I mean, it's same team,
- 44:48Speaker 1: different coach. Where does that leave James Franklin?
- 44:51Speaker 9: I mean, I think Franklin is probably looking back and
- 44:54Speaker 9: laughing at some of the how things are playing out
- 44:58Speaker 9: there that, you know, hey, you guys ran me out
- 45:01Speaker 9: of town for losses like this. And yet they're still
- 45:05Speaker 9: still happening to you. I mean, that one was a
- 45:07Speaker 9: wild one to watch. I will fully admit I did
- 45:12Speaker 9: not think Wisconsin was going to win that game coming in.
- 45:14Speaker 9: There were so many good games over the weekend, Bobby,
- 45:16Speaker 9: that like. You had to kind of prioritize what to watch.
- 45:19Speaker 9: And that one was pretty low, I would say, on
- 45:21Speaker 9: my list. And at a certain point, it's like, I
- 45:24Speaker 9: got to find Peacock to be able to watch the
- 45:26Speaker 9: end of this game. But great win for Luke Fickle.
- 45:29Speaker 9: We were just talking about hot seat a second ago
- 45:31Speaker 9: of Shane Beamer. Fickle entered this season on one of
- 45:34Speaker 9: the hottest seats out of anybody in the country. Gets
- 45:36Speaker 9: a huge win over Penn State. That's a big deal
- 45:39Speaker 9: for him. He's going to have to string together some
- 45:41Speaker 9: more wins, but that's a job a lot of people
- 45:44Speaker 9: have kind of keyed in on that will be open
- 45:46Speaker 9: at the end of the season, including even mentioning some
- 45:49Speaker 9: names that would make sense for that job.
- 45:50Speaker 8: And Fickle's not giving up.
- 45:52Speaker 9: That's a big one for him in hopes of trying
- 45:54Speaker 9: to hold on to his job past this season.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Does the SEC come down to Texas and Georgia again?
- 46:00Speaker 8: That's a good question. Georgia, yes.
- 46:03Speaker 9: Texas, probably. I think that's probably what it is. I mean,
- 46:08Speaker 9: those are the teams that I've kind of been the
- 46:10Speaker 9: highest on. Georgia was my preseason SEC champion pick. I
- 46:14Speaker 9: will stick with that as things stand right now. They've
- 46:17Speaker 9: been the most impressive.
- 46:18Speaker 8: I think.
- 46:20Speaker 9: But Texas, if it's not Texas, could you talk yourself
- 46:23Speaker 9: into Florida, maybe Ole Miss, maybe LSU.
- 46:28Speaker 8: Maybe Mississippi State?
- 46:30Speaker 9: I mean, there's a few teams I think that you
- 46:31Speaker 9: can maybe kind of keep in that top group. But
- 46:35Speaker 9: if we're going chalk, which I probably would here still,
- 46:38Speaker 9: I think it is probably still Texas, Georgia. But I
- 46:40Speaker 9: think that there's still some teams hanging around and there's
- 46:44Speaker 9: a lot of games still to come where you can
- 46:46Speaker 9: see Texas drop in one or two and somebody else steal.
- 46:49Speaker 8: In that spot.
- 46:49Speaker 1: I want to ask you about your book. Have you
- 46:52Speaker 1: heard from Lane Kiffin since the book has been published?
- 46:56Speaker 8: Yes. Yes, I have. I have not heard from him
- 47:00Speaker 8: in about a week, though.
- 47:01Speaker 9: So there were quite a few messages the week that
- 47:05Speaker 9: it came out. I don't know if he was reading
- 47:08Speaker 9: it in real time or someone in his team was
- 47:11Speaker 9: because it felt like he was working his way through
- 47:12Speaker 9: and texting things. But since they lost to Ole Miss,
- 47:17Speaker 9: I have not heard from him.
- 47:19Speaker 1: What are those messages like? Are they positive, negative?
- 47:23Speaker 9: I wouldn't say they're all super positive.
- 47:25Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 47:27Speaker 9: There, uh, you know, I think, uh, there are things
- 47:31Speaker 9: that he probably disagrees with. Um, and I think one,
- 47:35Speaker 9: I don't want to speak for him, obviously. Um, but
- 47:38Speaker 9: I think he maybe was hurt by some of the
- 47:40Speaker 9: things that people said about him. Um, and I get
- 47:43Speaker 9: that and I can understand that. Like if someone wrote
- 47:45Speaker 9: a book about me and this guy who I know
- 47:47Speaker 9: is like, John's a, you know, not a very nice person,
- 47:49Speaker 9: whatever I think, man, that kind of sucks that that
- 47:51Speaker 9: person said that about me. Um, so there's some of that,
- 47:54Speaker 9: I think. Um, but yeah, There's just also, yeah, I
- 47:57Speaker 9: think he did not like some of the things that
- 48:00Speaker 9: were included in there. But he also but on the
- 48:04Speaker 9: same vein, Bobby, he was also defending some of the behavior.
- 48:07Speaker 9: And so like he basically was like, yeah, I still
- 48:10Speaker 9: hang out with hot girls.
- 48:11Speaker 8: Who cares?
- 48:11Speaker 9: And it's like, that's fine. I'm not saying there is
- 48:14Speaker 9: an issue there. So it was just kind of all
- 48:16Speaker 9: over the place.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Well, I can't recommend the book enough to everybody listening
- 48:19Speaker 1: or watching, Lane being Lane. John, really appreciate the time.
- 48:22Speaker 1: As always, you're the guy and we'll talk to you
- 48:24Speaker 1: again real soon.

- 49:42Speaker 1: A couple of things. One, like we mentioned there, Florida
- 49:44Speaker 1: is really good. Eddie, did you watch Florida?
- 49:45Speaker 4: I watched Florida.
- 49:47Speaker 6: But I mean, really, the whole time I'm watching the game,
- 49:49Speaker 6: I'm thinking about what you said. Like, yeah, Ole Miss
- 49:51Speaker 6: is coming off a crazy game, a huge high. I mean,
- 49:56Speaker 6: that's kind of what I expected because you said that.
- 49:58Speaker 6: And sure enough, that's what happened. And Florida kind of
- 49:59Speaker 6: just put it to them.
- 50:00Speaker 4: So and then did you see the mosquitoes on the field?
- 50:04Speaker 1: No.
- 50:04Speaker 8: No.
- 50:05Speaker 6: Guys, I thought it was on my TV at first.
- 50:06Speaker 6: I'm like, oh my gosh, get all these mosquitoes off
- 50:08Speaker 6: my TV.
- 50:09Speaker 1: I didn't see them.
- 50:10Speaker 6: Dude, the field was loaded with mosquitoes. So I'm thinking like,
- 50:14Speaker 6: way to go, Florida. That's how you do it. You
- 50:16Speaker 6: just bring in a bunch of mosquitoes in there. Nobody
- 50:18Speaker 6: wants to play in the swamp.
- 50:21Speaker 4: Okay.
- 50:21Speaker 6: I think that the players. On Florida's side, don't either. No,
- 50:24Speaker 6: but what if they're used to it? What if the
- 50:26Speaker 6: coach is like, nah, we practice in mosquitoes. We get
- 50:29Speaker 6: used to mosquitoes. These other teams, nah.
- 50:31Speaker 1: That's a strategy. They're just itching the whole time.
- 50:34Speaker 8: Ow.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Ow, they're putting on cortisone cream over on the side.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Instead of masks in Colorado, they're putting itchy cream on.
- 50:41Speaker 1: There's a new docuseries coming out about Buffalo Bills fans
- 50:44Speaker 1: called Just One Before I Die. It comes out on
- 50:47Speaker 1: Tubi October 21st.
- 50:49Speaker 8: Wow.
- 50:49Speaker 5: That's going to be good.
- 50:50Speaker 1: That could have been a Cubs documentary until... 2016 because
- 50:54Speaker 1: they didn't win one for from 08 1908 to 2016
- 50:59Speaker 1: so over 100 years yeah so I'm not really rooting
- 51:03Speaker 1: for Buffalo to win one though you're not nah how
- 51:06Speaker 1: come I'm not rooting against them but I would rather
- 51:09Speaker 1: other teams win than Buffalo and I'm not a fan
- 51:10Speaker 1: of any team really I'd rather the Cowboys win it
- 51:13Speaker 1: there you go that'd be hilarious and I have a
- 51:15Speaker 1: future right a couple of reasons pays out well I'd
- 51:19Speaker 1: rather if I'm taking my bets off the table No bets.
- 51:24Speaker 1: The Cowboys would be hilarious. Secondly, I think the Chiefs
- 51:28Speaker 1: would be fun. Let Mahomes chase the Brady because they're
- 51:32Speaker 1: about even in their careers right now where they stand
- 51:34Speaker 1: all through.
- 51:36Speaker 7: Like where he was when he was his age.
- 51:38Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 7: Got a long way to go.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 51:41Speaker 4: All right.
- 51:42Speaker 7: He's halfway there.
- 51:43Speaker 1: So did Brady.
- 51:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:44Speaker 4: Relax.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Like to the Chiefs.
- 51:48Speaker 4: Win more.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I just like great stories. The Cowboys would be funny.
- 51:50Speaker 4: That'd be awesome.
- 51:51Speaker 1: The Chiefs would be cool.
- 51:55Speaker 4: What about the Raiders?
- 51:57Speaker 1: Hey, they're 3-0. I mean, if they can win with
- 52:00Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins, that's funny.
- 52:01Speaker 7: That'd be awesome.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's funny.
- 52:03Speaker 7: After they just took Mendoza first overall.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I think only those two teams. I mean, I have
- 52:09Speaker 1: bets on Baltimore. Obviously, I bet them as a future.
- 52:13Speaker 1: But it's fun to see Derrick Henry still be dominant.
- 52:15Speaker 10: Yeah, I know.
- 52:16Speaker 5: He's awesome.
- 52:17Speaker 8: So good.
- 52:18Speaker 7: Monster.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Just, yeah. Just a monster. So I know you watched
- 52:22Speaker 1: a bunch of football. Did you watch UFC at all?
- 52:24Speaker 4: I watched UFC.
- 52:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I went back and forth on UFC. Man, I
- 52:27Speaker 6: must have seen the worst injury. And I don't even
- 52:31Speaker 6: know if it was an injury. I don't even know
- 52:32Speaker 6: what to call it. But it was the first time
- 52:34Speaker 6: I was watching UFC and got scared for someone thinking like, oh,
- 52:37Speaker 6: they're going to die. And it was this Brazilian guy.
- 52:40Speaker 6: He's winning the match. It's the last match of the fight.
- 52:43Speaker 6: He's winning the match for sure. But, I mean, they're
- 52:45Speaker 6: both exhausted. Just kind of going after each other.
- 52:49Speaker 1: And then.
- 52:50Speaker 6: One guy knocks him down. His competitor knocks him down.
- 52:52Speaker 6: And when he hits the ground, he starts wrestling back.
- 52:55Speaker 6: But like 10 seconds later, just goes unconscious. No choke,
- 52:59Speaker 6: no hit, nothing. Just falls, just kind of goes limp.
- 53:04Speaker 6: And then the ref's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, like stop
- 53:06Speaker 6: the fight. And he just laid there, dude. Laid there
- 53:08Speaker 6: for 10 minutes. And they had to get him out
- 53:11Speaker 6: in a stretcher. And I'm like, he's dead. And I
- 53:14Speaker 6: checked all night. I checked Twitter, nothing. Then the next
- 53:18Speaker 6: day I woke up, checked on it. Turns out he's okay.
- 53:22Speaker 6: They didn't say exactly what.
- 53:23Speaker 4: Happened to him.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Sounds like he's not okay.
- 53:26Speaker 4: I mean, they said that he's moving, he's alert.
- 53:29Speaker 1: That doesn't mean okay, but yeah, it means he's not
- 53:31Speaker 1: going to die probably.
- 53:33Speaker 4: Dude, it was crazy. I thought that he died in
- 53:36Speaker 4: the octagon.
- 53:36Speaker 1: What a move, though, if you could actually pull off
- 53:39Speaker 1: the fake. Like you fall, and they go, the guy's like,
- 53:42Speaker 1: oh my God, and then you come out and start punching.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Like there's a famous punt return. It actually happened to Arkansas.
- 53:50Speaker 1: We punted it. I believe the guy's from North Texas.
- 53:53Speaker 1: And he doesn't wave it, but he catches the ball
- 53:55Speaker 1: and just starts walking.
- 53:56Speaker 4: I saw it.
- 53:56Speaker 1: The punt. Oh, yes. And everyone's like, oh, it must
- 53:58Speaker 1: have called fair catch. And then he takes off and
- 54:00Speaker 1: scores a touchdown.
- 54:00Speaker 4: He never called it.
- 54:01Speaker 5: Oh, so smart.
- 54:02Speaker 4: Pretty amazing. So that's what he should have done. Acted
- 54:04Speaker 4: like he was passed out.
- 54:05Speaker 1: And then before they call it, get up and just
- 54:06Speaker 1: start whacking.
- 54:07Speaker 4: Yeah, that was crazy.
- 54:08Speaker 1: This guy paid half a million bucks for a Jackson
- 54:10Speaker 1: Dart rookie card two days before the injury.
- 54:13Speaker 4: That's not good.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Wow.
- 54:15Speaker 7: Go get a JJ one.
- 54:16Speaker 1: It's like buying that Tom Brady final touchdown game. But
- 54:19Speaker 1: then he comes back out of retirement.
- 54:21Speaker 8: Oh, right.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Because he bought the ball. The guy spent a ton
- 54:24Speaker 1: of money, a million bucks or so, on Tom Brady's
- 54:26Speaker 1: final touchdown. And then Tom Brady comes out of retirement
- 54:29Speaker 1: to play for Tampa Bay and throws more touchdowns.
- 54:31Speaker 4: Wow.
- 54:31Speaker 1: So that ball loses all its value. Yeah, that sucks.
- 54:34Speaker 1: That sucks. How was LSU?
- 54:38Speaker 7: Man, the tailgating experience. The people down there are so nice. Like,
- 54:45Speaker 7: when you hear Southern hospitality, the people are just the
- 54:49Speaker 7: nicest ever.
- 54:49Speaker 1: But you were dressed as LSU fans.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Of course.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Okay, so they're just being good to their own.
- 54:53Speaker 7: But also, and then my buddy that I went to
- 54:55Speaker 7: high school with, he's from there originally, so he has
- 54:57Speaker 7: family there that has a good home base, tailgating. I mean,
- 55:00Speaker 7: they've got the setup. Good food, kegs.
- 55:03Speaker 4: What kind of food? What kind of food were we
- 55:05Speaker 4: dealing with?
- 55:05Speaker 7: Oh, we had crawfish mac and cheese.
- 55:07Speaker 4: Love it.
- 55:10Speaker 7: Some Southern chicken pasta thing that was phenomenal. And then boudin.
- 55:14Speaker 7: Is that what they called?
- 55:15Speaker 9: Boudin.
- 55:15Speaker 7: Oh, poutine? No, not poutine. That's Canadian.
- 55:18Speaker 9: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 4: You're talking about the rice balls? Boudin.
- 55:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Boudin.
- 55:21Speaker 7: Yeah, boudin.
- 55:21Speaker 5: There you go, boudin.
- 55:22Speaker 7: We had boudin. Oh, that was so good.
- 55:25Speaker 4: Gator bites, anything like that?
- 55:27Speaker 7: No gator bites, no. We didn't have any gator bites. But, man,
- 55:30Speaker 7: the food was unbelievable, drinks. People were great. And then
- 55:34Speaker 7: the game, I was like, damn, we haven't even gotten
- 55:35Speaker 7: a game yet.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Did you tiger walk it?
- 55:37Speaker 7: We did tiger walk it. And then, yeah, we saw
- 55:40Speaker 7: Lane come down. He had some former players, like Jarvis
- 55:43Speaker 7: Landry was one. Clyde Edwards Hilaire was another one walking
- 55:47Speaker 7: with him in the band and then this big old
- 55:49Speaker 7: tiger comes around like on a float like a real
- 55:51Speaker 7: one but I actually I did see a real the
- 55:54Speaker 7: real tiger Mike yeah he was just chilling by the
- 55:57Speaker 7: stadium just sleeping in a cage and then so the
- 56:00Speaker 7: float tiger came around like I'm talking 20 feet tall
- 56:03Speaker 7: and people are in the float and they're throwing beads
- 56:05Speaker 7: everywhere and they start throwing beads we're catching bees it
- 56:09Speaker 7: was awesome and then the game started And we bought
- 56:14Speaker 7: tickets right before the game. At first, we were way
- 56:15Speaker 7: up top. And then we bought tickets right before the
- 56:18Speaker 7: game that were actually pretty cheap down below.
- 56:20Speaker 8: And we're like, okay, cool.
- 56:21Speaker 7: So we got those tickets first half, watching the game.
- 56:24Speaker 7: It was pretty boring.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it was so boring. I was at the beginning
- 56:30Speaker 1: and I was out.
- 56:31Speaker 7: Yeah, if I was watching at home, I probably would
- 56:33Speaker 7: have been out too because it was just boring. Nothing
- 56:35Speaker 7: was really happening. And then we're surrounded by a good
- 56:37Speaker 7: amount of Texas A & M fans too. So it's
- 56:39Speaker 7: like you're not really getting the environment that you want.
- 56:42Speaker 7: So at halftime, we go get a drink, and we're like, oh, man,
- 56:44Speaker 7: I hope this game picks up because this is pretty
- 56:46Speaker 7: rough right now. And then as we walk in, my
- 56:49Speaker 7: buddy goes, hey, let's just go down to the field.
- 56:51Speaker 7: I'm like, okay, cool.
- 56:53Speaker 5: Let's do it.
- 56:54Speaker 7: So he's like, just follow me. So we walk down,
- 56:57Speaker 7: and nobody's really paying attention, and we just walk down
- 57:00Speaker 7: to the bottom of the field. So not on the
- 57:02Speaker 7: actual grass, but on the field itself, first row with
- 57:05Speaker 7: folded chairs and everything, and we just keep walking and
- 57:08Speaker 7: walking until we find four seats that are open. Like,
- 57:11Speaker 7: let's just try it right here. So we'd sit down and.
- 57:15Speaker 4: We're just like, that's so gutsy, man.
- 57:16Speaker 7: We're like, let's just fake it till we make it.
- 57:18Speaker 7: Somebody kicks out, whatever. And so we sit down and
- 57:21Speaker 7: I'm not kidding. There's a security guard right behind me.
- 57:22Speaker 7: And he sat down right next to me and he
- 57:24Speaker 7: was like, what's up, man? And I was like, Hey,
- 57:26Speaker 7: how you doing? And he's like, I'm all right. Like, man,
- 57:30Speaker 7: we're just letting up too many points. You both were
- 57:32Speaker 7: wondering if you're going to tell on each other. And
- 57:35Speaker 7: I was like, I couldn't tell if he was messing
- 57:37Speaker 7: with me or if he just wanted to talk. And
- 57:40Speaker 7: I was like, yeah, it's all right, man. We're only
- 57:41Speaker 7: giving up three.
- 57:42Speaker 5: Like, it'll be fine.
- 57:43Speaker 7: Second half's coming. Here we go, you know? And he's like, yeah,
- 57:47Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 57:47Speaker 5: We'll see.
- 57:48Speaker 7: Like, I'm a little nervous going into the second half.
- 57:49Speaker 7: He's like, all right, thanks, man. I just needed to
- 57:52Speaker 7: vent and sit down for a minute. All right, have
- 57:54Speaker 7: a good time.
- 57:55Speaker 9: Whoa.
- 57:55Speaker 7: And I'm like, oh, dang.
- 57:57Speaker 5: I was like, all right, you too, man. I'll see
- 57:58Speaker 5: you later.
- 57:59Speaker 4: Was your heart just racing?
- 58:00Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 58:01Speaker 7: I was like, I can't tell if he's testing me
- 58:02Speaker 7: or like what I should say.
- 58:03Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 58:04Speaker 7: I just had a normal conversation because I'm a big fan,
- 58:06Speaker 7: of course. And we're just talking about the game. And
- 58:09Speaker 7: then we just so happened to sit in the end
- 58:11Speaker 7: zone where they scored all three touchdowns in the third quarter.
- 58:14Speaker 7: Right in front of us. And they blew them out
- 58:15Speaker 7: in the third quarter. The place was going nuts. Colbert
- 58:17Speaker 7: and Rouge came on going to the four. So, like,
- 58:20Speaker 7: the first half was such a dud. And I was like, dang,
- 58:22Speaker 7: I'm going to go out to talk. Like, this place
- 58:24Speaker 7: kind of sucks. And the second half just changed everything.
- 58:27Speaker 8: It was awesome.
- 58:28Speaker 1: So, are you a Tiger now?
- 58:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I got a little Tiger blood in me.
- 58:32Speaker 1: He has, like, eight teams now.
- 58:33Speaker 4: So annoying.
- 58:34Speaker 7: I can be Arkansas, too, if you want to go
- 58:35Speaker 7: to a game.
- 58:36Speaker 1: I don't want you to be Arkansas.
- 58:39Speaker 4: He doesn't need you, Kevin.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I don't want you to be Arkansas.
- 58:41Speaker 5: Like, whoever gives him free merch.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I don't need any more sad people around here.
- 58:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 58:45Speaker 1: The Cubs play tomorrow night. They're playing the Padres first round. Okay.
- 58:48Speaker 7: Are you nervous?
- 58:49Speaker 1: Padres have been really good.
- 58:50Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 58:51Speaker 1: And then if we happen to win that, we have
- 58:53Speaker 1: to go play the freaking Brewers again. Oof. So dumb.
- 58:57Speaker 7: Oh, we got the Yankees.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Playoff baseball starting.
- 58:58Speaker 7: You do?
- 58:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:59Speaker 7: A little nervous for sure. I can't believe we're in
- 59:01Speaker 7: the playoffs.
- 59:02Speaker 1: You're a little nervous for everything, huh?
- 59:04Speaker 7: I'm just a fan.
- 59:04Speaker 4: Well, that's what happens when you're a fan of so
- 59:06Speaker 4: many teams.
- 59:06Speaker 1: That's right.
- 59:07Speaker 5: Always nervous.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Haunted nerves.
- 59:09Speaker 8: No.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Have 14 teams, three of them are bound to be.
- 59:11Speaker 6: Playing, right?
- 59:12Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 59:12Speaker 8: All right, that's it.
- 59:14Speaker 1: We're going to go. Thank you guys for listening. We
