Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Goodday.
- 0:23Speaker 2: My name is Dale Tanner.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I am the lead vocalist of Ocean Grove and we
- 0:28Speaker 3: have our brand new album, Odd World, dropping this November
- 0:33Speaker 3: twenty second.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Beautiful Dale, thanks for joining us today, brother.
- 0:37Speaker 2: That it's great to be here, Chris, thanks for having me.
- 0:39Speaker 4: My absolute pleasure mate. So, as you say, Ocean Grover
- 0:42Speaker 4: release your four studio album, Odd World on November twenty seconds.
- 0:46Speaker 5: So how do you feeling about it?
- 0:48Speaker 3: I'm feeling very, very excited, Chris. It's probably you know,
- 0:54Speaker 3: this is the most excited I've been about anything I've
- 0:57Speaker 3: put out into the world, you know, alongside my brothers,
- 1:01Speaker 3: and it is.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I sat down last night and gave the album a
- 1:09Speaker 3: listen myself, just to sort of just get a refresh
- 1:12Speaker 3: on okay, like, yeah, this this feels big, and this
- 1:15Speaker 3: this feels like a definitive moment in Ocean GROW's career,
- 1:21Speaker 3: and I just I just want to, you know, soak
- 1:25Speaker 3: that in a little bit after having not listened to
- 1:27Speaker 3: it for a bit and heard it a million times
- 1:30Speaker 3: working on the studio and gave it that space, and
- 1:32Speaker 3: now I've revisited thinking like, holy fuck, like this this
- 1:36Speaker 3: this has some power to it.
- 1:37Speaker 2: No I really think that it's it's our best work.
- 1:42Speaker 3: It's it's Ocean Grove operating on all cylinders and there's
- 1:45Speaker 3: something there for everyone. It's taking all that all that
- 1:48Speaker 3: was great about everything that we've done up until this
- 1:51Speaker 3: point and fusing it with this newfound childlike excitement for
- 1:56Speaker 3: the future and just that just that stamp of this
- 2:01Speaker 3: is certified ocean Grove like and you better be here
- 2:05Speaker 3: for it.
- 2:06Speaker 5: How are you rather now?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Can you dive into it a bit deeper musically for
- 2:10Speaker 4: us and tell us what you're going for?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:13Speaker 3: So, I think with the journey of the last few
- 2:17Speaker 3: years and the last couple of albums, we have very
- 2:20Speaker 3: much extended our reach as far as I think we
- 2:25Speaker 3: felt we could sonically, and that's been a really fun
- 2:30Speaker 3: experimental process. And I think now that we are three
- 2:35Speaker 3: albums deep and heading into the fourth, it just it
- 2:38Speaker 3: felt like the perfect opportunity to round out that circle
- 2:44Speaker 3: and bring that journey home to it sort of yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 3: to its roots, and that was very much That was
- 2:51Speaker 3: one of the key aspects when we set out to
- 2:54Speaker 3: create this album, was like, let's let's create an album that.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Is a return to home and a return to the roots.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Of Ocean Grove, and I think we very much achieved that,
- 3:06Speaker 3: and that that was very much guided by the fact
- 3:11Speaker 3: that we as individuals were operating in such close quarters
- 3:17Speaker 3: like we haven't done since the times of Black Label,
- 3:22Speaker 3: since the inception of sort of the Rhapsody tapes. And
- 3:26Speaker 3: it's been so great to just be hanging out as mates,
- 3:30Speaker 3: all all together. Because it's not to say that we
- 3:33Speaker 3: haven't had, you know, all of us involved in some
- 3:36Speaker 3: degree all the way along anyway, it's just this is
- 3:39Speaker 3: the first time.
- 3:39Speaker 2: That we went, no, we're going to get together. You know.
- 3:42Speaker 3: We got an airbnb, We hung out for a week
- 3:44Speaker 3: at a place that had no distractions, had a table,
- 3:47Speaker 3: tennis table, and that was about it. And we were
- 3:50Speaker 3: just together, hanging out as mates first and foremost, mucking
- 3:53Speaker 3: around and writing a bit of music on the side.
- 3:55Speaker 3: And that's exactly how this band started. And I think
- 3:57Speaker 3: that energy and that reminder that we're at our best
- 4:01Speaker 3: when we are just together and collaborating and allowing all
- 4:05Speaker 3: of our our ideas to come together and fuse into
- 4:09Speaker 3: into what we you know, call Ocean Grove and odd
- 4:12Speaker 3: world music. And I guess we realized that we can't
- 4:18Speaker 3: we can't fake that, we can't replicate that without doing
- 4:20Speaker 3: exactly what we have.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Ocean Grove is is.
- 4:24Speaker 3: The amalgamation of all of us putting our ideas together.
- 4:28Speaker 3: And and it might seem you know, abstracts or like
- 4:34Speaker 3: one person's ideas coming from this side of the table
- 4:36Speaker 3: and the.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Other should never go together.
- 4:38Speaker 3: But I think a song like rain Drop is a
- 4:40Speaker 3: perfect example of you know, this sort of full o
- 4:45Speaker 3: g odd Well collective mindset that I'm referring to, because
- 4:49Speaker 3: that's that's Luke coming in from a you know, a
- 4:52Speaker 3: studio member perspective. He's had a massive role in sort
- 4:55Speaker 3: of writing this album, and then you know Twiggy, Twiggy
- 4:59Speaker 3: coming forward with some of his ideas and you can
- 5:03Speaker 3: kind of listen to that song and see see where
- 5:05Speaker 3: those those stegments are and just like the fun that
- 5:10Speaker 3: we've had in making those weave together, and so there
- 5:15Speaker 3: was very much.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's actually a perfect segue to my next question, brocas.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I had the pleasure a listening to the album before
- 5:24Speaker 4: this chat, and you guys have absolutely nailed it from
- 5:27Speaker 4: every conceivable angle, bro, Like, well done, but it's got
- 5:31Speaker 4: You've covered so many different genres and so many different
- 5:34Speaker 4: feelings over the record, but it's still got a nice
- 5:37Speaker 4: flow to it, Like it doesn't seem like anything's out
- 5:39Speaker 4: of place and anything's disjointed, Like was that how much time,
- 5:43Speaker 4: I guess and how much work did you put into
- 5:44Speaker 4: getting that cohesion flow?
- 5:48Speaker 3: That's definitely a that's a really fun like element to
- 5:53Speaker 3: the creative process with Ocean Grove. I think it does
- 5:56Speaker 3: go beyond just right, we're going to write a bunch
- 5:58Speaker 3: of hits and it's all going to be on this
- 6:00Speaker 3: you know, full length.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Album, and as long as the singles are in there
- 6:04Speaker 2: that that doesn't really matter. You know that That's never
- 6:06Speaker 2: been our approach.
- 6:07Speaker 3: It's it's always been about creating a journey like experience
- 6:11Speaker 3: for the listener. And yeah, I'm really proud of the
- 6:15Speaker 3: journey that this album has in and of itself. But
- 6:18Speaker 3: also it's it's sort of, you know, its ability to
- 6:25Speaker 3: complement everything that's preceded it. I think that's a really
- 6:28Speaker 3: cool aspect to it. So you can listen to Ocean
- 6:31Speaker 3: growthrom start to finish, or you can listen to a
- 6:32Speaker 3: certain album and then jump to to Odd World and
- 6:36Speaker 3: it's just it's just a continuation of you know this,
- 6:39Speaker 3: this journey and this mixtape style approach that we have
- 6:44Speaker 3: kind of taken forever we are, so we can't sit
- 6:49Speaker 3: still with such an ADHD you know minded band that
- 6:54Speaker 3: there's always so many angles and so many different sounds
- 6:57Speaker 3: and genres that we're trying to experiment with that sometimes
- 6:59Speaker 3: it does still hard to think, oh, how is this
- 7:01Speaker 3: all going to be? How's it's all going to be
- 7:03Speaker 3: cohesive and work? But sitting down once we have a
- 7:06Speaker 3: lot of these songs and actually toying with that journey
- 7:12Speaker 3: and that that playlist and how that's going to feel
- 7:15Speaker 3: going from one song into the next, and that the
- 7:20Speaker 3: the ebbs and flows and the peaks and the valleys
- 7:23Speaker 3: that you can work with when you have such dynamics is.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It's really it's really fun. Honestly.
- 7:30Speaker 3: You have to put yourself into the mindset of of
- 7:33Speaker 3: your twelve year old self and what that what that
- 7:36Speaker 3: kid would would want to hear if they if they
- 7:39Speaker 3: did have thirty forty minutes jumping on a BMX and
- 7:43Speaker 3: writing down the road, or you know, going into a U,
- 7:49Speaker 3: you know, into a shed with a couple of mates
- 7:51Speaker 3: and chucking an album on and just wanting, wanting, it
- 7:54Speaker 3: to just compliment whatever whatever you were doing in life.
- 7:57Speaker 2: And I think there's something very beautiful to that.
- 7:59Speaker 3: And if it can be a journey from start to
- 8:01Speaker 3: finish and someone can step away and be like holy fuck,
- 8:04Speaker 3: Like that is so synonymous with that experience that I've
- 8:06Speaker 3: had all that time in my life.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah, there's power to that.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Yeah, But in their creative process, pro like, how do
- 8:14Speaker 4: you know when you've gone too far in one direction
- 8:16Speaker 4: or maybe you're not far enough? Like if you've got
- 8:18Speaker 4: parameters that you said, or do you just do you
- 8:21Speaker 4: just keep nothing it doubt till it comes good.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I think I think that we've that's sort of what
- 8:29Speaker 3: we've done in the last I guess couple of albums
- 8:32Speaker 3: we've we've we've stretched out tether to see see how
- 8:36Speaker 3: much we could get away with and that that's a
- 8:39Speaker 3: really that's a really great position to come from leading
- 8:44Speaker 3: into an album like this because it puts a lot
- 8:47Speaker 3: of those questions to bed of like, oh, well, what
- 8:50Speaker 3: you know, but what.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Else haven't we tried yet?
- 8:52Speaker 3: What have we you know, experimented with We had a
- 8:55Speaker 3: lot of confidence being like, you know, we feel at
- 8:58Speaker 3: home bringing it back to this very heavy new metal
- 9:02Speaker 3: sound that is kind of at the origins of ocean growth,
- 9:05Speaker 3: because we already have branched out and explore those other
- 9:08Speaker 3: territories and have that in the back pocket, and now
- 9:10Speaker 3: we can come back and return to this sound that
- 9:14Speaker 3: we we know when we perform live, resonates with us
- 9:19Speaker 3: the most and feels the most authentic and feels just
- 9:22Speaker 3: the most joyous to play. And I think we feel
- 9:24Speaker 3: that on the other side of the barrier too with
- 9:26Speaker 3: our fans. It's just that when we're playing these these
- 9:29Speaker 3: sort of definitive og grooves and riffs and choruses, and
- 9:34Speaker 3: it's that that bounce and that energy that we bring
- 9:38Speaker 3: to the live show, realized, oh, you know, all these
- 9:41Speaker 3: little elements that we've kind of added into the odd
- 9:45Speaker 3: world music genre all does work. But now now that
- 9:51Speaker 3: we've got that breadth, we can kind of channelent, channelent, focus.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It a little bit more.
- 9:56Speaker 3: And I think that's very much what this this album is.
- 9:58Speaker 3: It's a it's a it's a mature it's a maturation
- 10:01Speaker 3: of everything that we've done. And instead of instead of
- 10:04Speaker 3: being like, oh, we've got to keep pushing the boundary's
- 10:06Speaker 3: got to keep being different and keep you know, doing
- 10:08Speaker 3: something that we've never done before. I think we've we've
- 10:11Speaker 3: had the liberation of doing that for two albums and
- 10:13Speaker 3: now it's time to bring it home.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Yeah, So over the whole journey made like we're so
- 10:18Speaker 4: much experimenting and pushing yourselves musically. Like, what would you
- 10:22Speaker 4: say the biggest things you've learned about yourself and your
- 10:25Speaker 4: music have been over that period.
- 10:30Speaker 3: One thing would be that you know this is and
- 10:33Speaker 3: always will be a team effort and that no one, yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 3: no individual can can do do it all and that
- 10:43Speaker 3: that's such a nice thing to confide in.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Is that is it? You know, it's it is.
- 10:49Speaker 3: A joint venture and we are the closest of mates
- 10:55Speaker 3: and friends in this process because it can be you know,
- 11:01Speaker 3: it's not it's not easy too to keep pushing the
- 11:05Speaker 3: boundaries knowing that you don't know what's necessarily going to
- 11:09Speaker 3: come from it, especially especially in a career, in a
- 11:13Speaker 3: career sense, having gone through, you know, a couple of
- 11:18Speaker 3: years of lockdown and all the uncertainties that came into that,
- 11:22Speaker 3: and what you know.
- 11:24Speaker 2: The last four years, I'll be honest, I've.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Just been a real uphill battles ever since that happened.
- 11:31Speaker 3: You know, Blit Phone Fantasy came out a week before
- 11:35Speaker 3: we kind of went into lockdown, and that really slashed
- 11:37Speaker 3: so many plans and hopes and dreams and had to
- 11:41Speaker 3: sort of start from the ground up again. And that
- 11:45Speaker 3: that was a really hard thing to do, having having
- 11:47Speaker 3: just gone through the process of you know, working out
- 11:51Speaker 3: this new lineup and what that was going to sound
- 11:55Speaker 3: like and what that was going to look like. It
- 11:58Speaker 3: really put everything on hold for a bit. And and
- 12:02Speaker 3: so now it's just it's so nice to be in
- 12:05Speaker 3: a place where there is excitement.
- 12:08Speaker 2: In the air again.
- 12:09Speaker 3: There's momentum, there is a brotherhood amongst us that is
- 12:13Speaker 3: tighter than ever, and I just I just don't think
- 12:15Speaker 3: we could have got through those difficult times without without
- 12:19Speaker 3: having each other's backs. And I think, yeah, there was
- 12:23Speaker 3: the temptation to feel isolated and alone in those times
- 12:30Speaker 3: and to feel like, fuck, like, you know, just is
- 12:35Speaker 3: this is this all that there is? And and that
- 12:39Speaker 3: that friendship I'm so grateful for and that ability for
- 12:42Speaker 3: us to come out the other side and to be, yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 3: to be more of a unified force than we have
- 12:49Speaker 3: been in a very long time. It's shown me the
- 12:52Speaker 3: power and the value of friendship at the core of
- 12:55Speaker 3: this band and what we do, and that when you're
- 13:00Speaker 3: rating from that place, the experimental, artistic, creative side of
- 13:05Speaker 3: things is just that just plays out itself like that
- 13:10Speaker 3: doesn't need any any further attention because all the other
- 13:14Speaker 3: cogs are turning, you know, the sort of the energy
- 13:16Speaker 3: is there and you just need to, as I said,
- 13:17Speaker 3: put yourselves in the room together and just allow the
- 13:20Speaker 3: magic to flow.
- 13:21Speaker 2: And that's exactly what's happened. Yes, right now.
- 13:25Speaker 4: I guess the only negative with Odd World Made is
- 13:27Speaker 4: because it's so eclectic. How the hell are you going
- 13:30Speaker 4: to pick singles to release that represent the album? Because
- 13:33Speaker 4: not one song on there you could release and say
- 13:36Speaker 4: this is what do we expect from the album?
- 13:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, exactly.
- 13:41Speaker 3: We we we find ourselves sometimes reflecting on previous albums
- 13:46Speaker 3: and thinking, ah, like, imagine what how would have been
- 13:50Speaker 3: different if we'd released that song as a single and
- 13:52Speaker 3: thead like would have would have been received differently?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Or you know, no good in dwelling on the past.
- 13:56Speaker 3: But it is an interesting thing where it's not so
- 13:59Speaker 3: ever clean, clean cut with us. It's not it's not
- 14:02Speaker 3: just that's that's clearly the single and those are clearly
- 14:05Speaker 3: not I think with this album it was, you know,
- 14:10Speaker 3: the approach was very much okay. I think it's a
- 14:13Speaker 3: no brainer to approach with the first couple of songs
- 14:19Speaker 3: really indicating that hey, you know, we're back with this
- 14:23Speaker 3: heavy sound.
- 14:26Speaker 2: And that's not just going to be a one off.
- 14:28Speaker 2: So we'll give you a couple.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Just to reassure you that you know we are we
- 14:32Speaker 3: are playing funny buggers and you know that that was clear,
- 14:36Speaker 3: So that that sort of ticked off the first the
- 14:38Speaker 3: first two and then you know, releasing rain Drop, it
- 14:41Speaker 3: just sort of it felt like, Okay, that's a really
- 14:45Speaker 3: nice change up on on the sort of the sound
- 14:49Speaker 3: that people have been shown so far.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Uh.
- 14:52Speaker 3: And then as for as for what we have, you know,
- 14:54Speaker 3: it's still yet to come in terms of singles.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I think it's very much just that approach.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Again, it's like, okay, we've covered two bases, like where
- 15:01Speaker 3: else what is the other far extension of the odd
- 15:05Speaker 3: world that that still needs to be highlighted? And I'm
- 15:07Speaker 3: really excited for this next single coming up. I think
- 15:11Speaker 3: it's it's it's a it's a brand of of of
- 15:16Speaker 3: the Odd World that we have delved into on each
- 15:20Speaker 3: record to some capacity, but I think this is finally
- 15:22Speaker 3: the time where the one that I'm maybe most proud
- 15:26Speaker 3: of and most excited to perform live, and I think
- 15:28Speaker 3: is going to be a very very powerful yeah song
- 15:31Speaker 3: that a lot of people universally will.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Will connect to.
- 15:35Speaker 3: So Yeah, as much as the album is very much
- 15:37Speaker 3: about ensuring that there's that journey and that flow, I
- 15:42Speaker 3: think in terms of the single approach, it's just about
- 15:45Speaker 3: more so keeping people on their on their toes and yeah, yeah,
- 15:50Speaker 3: not knowing what to expect, like that's that's that that
- 15:52Speaker 3: that fun part of the lead up. So I hope
- 15:54Speaker 3: people are excited for what's to come. Yeah, there's a
- 15:58Speaker 3: bit of everything.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Brother. Now you've speaking of live, You've got a few
- 16:03Speaker 4: shows coming up. You've got one in Brisbane I'm not
- 16:05Speaker 4: chob to fourth, Sydney on the fifth, and Melbourne I'm
- 16:08Speaker 4: October six, So tell us about them.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so they are. I'm really excited for these shows.
- 16:14Speaker 3: We're bringing out our mates Pale Dusk from Japan, which
- 16:20Speaker 3: is which is really their their They're a great band
- 16:23Speaker 3: and yeah, I'm super honored to have played alongside them
- 16:26Speaker 3: a few times. Now so that that that's just the
- 16:30Speaker 3: perfect compliment to the odd world. You know, I think
- 16:33Speaker 3: what they're doing is so great. And then also Inertia.
- 16:37Speaker 3: You know, it's probably a story that I'll share when
- 16:39Speaker 3: I'm on stage. But Mark Mark, the guitarist of Inertia,
- 16:43Speaker 3: is a longtime friend, and when we were first touring
- 16:48Speaker 3: and passing through Sydney, he'd always give us a place
- 16:51Speaker 3: to stay.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And we're talking, you know, ten ten plus years ago.
- 16:54Speaker 3: This is at a time at a time where we
- 16:56Speaker 3: couldn't afford, you know, to stay at hotels or anything
- 16:59Speaker 3: like that, and we'll playing our sort of first into
- 17:01Speaker 3: state shows and this you know Mark, or we know
- 17:05Speaker 3: him fondly as Sharky.
- 17:07Speaker 2: It was always a floor to sleep on.
- 17:09Speaker 3: And sometimes it would be we'd be rocking up after
- 17:11Speaker 3: a show at one two in the morning and he'd
- 17:15Speaker 3: already be asleep, and it'd just be a living room
- 17:16Speaker 3: with blankets and pillows or whatever, and it was sort
- 17:19Speaker 3: of just to make self at home energy. And then
- 17:21Speaker 3: we'd wake up and he'd already left for work, and
- 17:24Speaker 3: we kind of get up and you know, grab our
- 17:26Speaker 3: things and brush our teeth and head off.
- 17:28Speaker 2: You lock the door behind us, and it was like, who's.
- 17:31Speaker 3: This guy that like we barely even know, we don't
- 17:34Speaker 3: we just crashed his house, haven't even seen him.
- 17:36Speaker 2: But he's just got so much trust and so much.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Heart to just do that for, you know, for another
- 17:42Speaker 3: person or another group of people, and and and so
- 17:45Speaker 3: he's in inertia and it's just such a nice full
- 17:48Speaker 3: circle moment to be like, here we are ten years
- 17:50Speaker 3: later and we get to now not only share the
- 17:53Speaker 3: stage once, but be on a tour together.
- 17:55Speaker 2: And you know, it's almost us.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Repaying that that that moment of like you you always
- 18:00Speaker 3: giving us, you know, your your home, and now it's
- 18:03Speaker 3: our chance to sort of bring you into ours. And
- 18:06Speaker 3: so I think that's that's a really beautiful moment for me.
- 18:08Speaker 3: So I'm really excited about the lineup for one.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Two.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It's a it's an all ages gig for two of
- 18:15Speaker 3: the three shows, so that's a that's a massive first too.
- 18:18Speaker 3: So yeah, Melbourne and yeah, Brizzy, I'm fairly sure other
- 18:23Speaker 3: two all ages shows. And you know, my got a
- 18:28Speaker 3: couple of nephews coming along to the Melbourne show and
- 18:32Speaker 3: and we you know, we really love seeing the younger
- 18:35Speaker 3: generation the shows as much as we love seeing the
- 18:39Speaker 3: current and the older and everything in between.
- 18:41Speaker 2: That the shows too.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I think that's that's that's where we like to We
- 18:45Speaker 3: do pride ourselves on the fact that ocean growth can be.
- 18:48Speaker 2: For anybody and everybody, and that there.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Are influences and sounds there that are from you know,
- 18:55Speaker 3: nineteen fifty to twenty fifty. It doesn't matter, it doesn't
- 18:59Speaker 3: matter what what you're into. That just comes to the
- 19:01Speaker 3: show and experience. It's the energy that kind.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Of that you feel when you enter an OG show
- 19:07Speaker 2: and enter the odd world. Is that.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Yeah, we create an energy that just supersedes the need
- 19:13Speaker 3: to be like, oh I I'm into I'm into punk
- 19:16Speaker 3: or I'm into harcore only like, well, it doesn't it doesn't,
- 19:19Speaker 3: that doesn't matter, You don't need to question that. It's yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 3: it's the energy that you're coming for, and it's going
- 19:24Speaker 3: to be a hell of a time. I think we
- 19:26Speaker 3: haven't we haven't really headlined since especially you know, major cities.
- 19:31Speaker 2: We haven't really done.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Since our last headline tour back in twenty twenty two.
- 19:37Speaker 3: There's been some regional tours and we've been support some
- 19:40Speaker 3: you know, festivals and all this cool stuff. But when
- 19:42Speaker 3: it comes to an actual og show, major city headline
- 19:46Speaker 3: kind of, this is our chance to curate the experience
- 19:49Speaker 3: to our liking. We haven't had that chance in a
- 19:52Speaker 3: little bit, and I think we've we've grown and progressed
- 19:53Speaker 3: so much as a band in those eighteen months that
- 19:56Speaker 3: I'm really excited for everyone to see. And people would
- 19:59Speaker 3: have got a glimpse of it on the Polara shows,
- 20:01Speaker 3: and it was really nice to give some of these
- 20:03Speaker 3: new songs a test run and yeah, showcase kind of
- 20:06Speaker 3: what we've been brewing. And I think these shows are
- 20:08Speaker 3: going to be that, just on another level of like this,
- 20:11Speaker 3: you know, Ocean Grover has arrived and I hope you
- 20:14Speaker 3: I hope you're here for it.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Hell yeah, brother, Well on that note made, we shall
- 20:18Speaker 4: sign off for now, but Old World is out in
- 20:20Speaker 4: November twenty second. Fantastic album, Buddy, probably one of the
- 20:23Speaker 4: best I've heard all year. Mate, So hopefully you go
- 20:26Speaker 4: girl for now. Hopefully catch up with you the Brisbane show.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Fuck yeah, thanks so much, Chris, take care of gay Chatton.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Crat, play your bubble to the ball.
- 21:12Speaker 1: And want to play until I get.
