A chilling home invasion turned sexual assault unfolded when Blane Carson Carey, a man with a prior felony record and a protective order against him, allegedly broke into a woman’s home by climbing a ladder and shattering a window. Armed with intimidation and threats, he forced her to lie to police, whispering exactly what to say to avoid further harm.
